Hey, I hope you had a great weekend.
Welcome to Monday show.
Morning studio.
Morning.
Ray Mundo, our audio producer who is in the glass room.
Ray, what's up?
So I was just wondering here at this job, morning radio show,
if I want to just be lazy for a day and not come to work,
kind of just sleep a lot and binge watch TV,
and just take the day off, not for being sick,
but just take off the day.
Would we be allowed to do that?
I don't understand your question.
Would you allow that if I just said, hey, bones,
I just want to sleep in today.
Order food.
I'm not getting up from this bed and not doing any exercise.
I just want to be lazy today.
My body wants me to be lazy.
I use that as an excuse.
I feel like you're asking this for a reason.
Can you tell me the reason?
Yes, there's another morning show in the company.
And I would say not regularly, but almost once a month,
they'll have a person from the show just say, hey, did today for me.
I have not left the bed because I needed it.
Oh, like a mental health day?
No, he's not saying it like that.
Is that what you're saying, like mental health day?
What would you call, if you had to define the day?
I wouldn't call sleeping and just kind of being lazy mental health.
Like DGF?
It's not like they were-
DGF?
Yeah.
But I think he's the one probably calling it lazy.
What is the, would this person say, I just need a day to be lazy or they're like, I need a day?
I don't even know who this person is.
No, no, just speak out loud what the text you would send if you were asking for this day.
Let me see how I would think.
to respond. Hey, Bones, woke up. Feeling freaking lazy, dude.
Not leaving the bed, ordering a bunch of food, and binging TV all day. I'll see y'all tomorrow.
So you're not even asking, you're just saying. Yeah.
Who does this?
Well, I would, you don't have to write them out, but this is what I would say.
Because Amy said the word, mental health. I think if, my answer is yes.
Yeah. Really? For sure. Absolutely 100%. If you were, but I don't think that's really surprising.
If any of you said, hey, got a lot going on, I don't think I got the capacity today.
I don't think I should come in or what do you, I'll be like, stay home for any reason if something
ain't right, because if it ain't right at home, it definitely ain't going to be right here.
It could actually make here not as good because I need you right at home before you come into here.
I don't sit the best example of that because I come in and I'm the mailman.
Rain, shine, sleet, sick, I'm here.
But I don't think you guys should do that.
So I think if you positioned it different and you said, hey,
I'm just mentally exhausted, had a lot going on.
Cool, if I just chill.
Yeah, sure.
Because I would trust you wouldn't do that and take advantage of that.
Right.
I just had never heard that before where you're just like, hey, listen, boss,
I'm going to be horizontal all day today.
No, you don't say it like that.
Because if you were to send it like you text it, I would text scoomics,
Ray drunk.
Right.
Like, he just said I'm not coming in.
I'm eating Cheetos.
Feeling lazy.
Yes.
If it's, hey, how it's a lot going on.
brains fried.
Yeah, of course.
I don't even think that would be something
that I think you guys would worry about asking.
I don't know. What do you think?
No, I mean, I think that I get where you're coming from
if that's our perspective.
The perspective is things are just not right
and I'm not myself and it's not going to be good.
But if it's, hey, I just feel like binge watching TV.
Yeah, you can't do it like that.
Ordering food?
Like, you would be like, what is the world?
Like you may say, okay, fine.
do it, but you're going to keep a little mental note.
Oh, no, he would.
I would just think you had some stuff going on.
And I wouldn't even think, I trust everybody to go, if you're a little bit sick, either
physically or in the head for a little bit, then take care of you.
Because if you ain't good, you ain't good for me.
You ain't good for us.
And I think we've had that happen here before.
Yeah.
I mean, yeah, I've learned the hard way.
I would try to come in.
I mean, I don't think I've ever, like, texted you day of.
I'm not doing well today.
Like I've tried to come in and maybe I sat down and then just started,
we started recording something and then I would just start crying and you were like,
I think you should go.
Gotta go.
And also I would know when Amy was going through stuff and I was like, hey, don't come in for,
don't come in for a week.
Don't come in for a week.
Right, right, right.
You only come in when you feel good.
But this is a job where I need you guys, you know, focus mentally.
But if you have like, Arkansas always works at the mill.
I don't think you can call and be like, yeah, it's kind of sad today because I watched
old yellow last night.
I'm going to take the day off.
Yeah, that's not going to work.
Like, I think if you have a real-life human job, a lot of bosses don't look at that the same way.
But if you ever said it just like that, I would think you really were just embarrassed and you shouldn't be of whatever's happening with your mental health.
And I would say, cool, stay home.
Let me know when you're good.
Got it.
I challenge everybody on this show.
Somebody has got to do that before the interview.
I don't challenge them to do that.
No.
If you need it, okay.
This is not, no, no, no.
I'm not challenging you guys to do it.
But you're free to do it.
But I'm not asking you.
I can't even imagine typing those words.
No, I can't imagine me either.
Hey, I woke up feeling lazy, want to binge watch Real Housewives all day.
See you tomorrow.
Yeah.
Selfie picture attached.
Yes, mental holidays, if you need them.
And we don't even report them.
Like, there's like a thing.
It's like we all just put out for each other.
Yeah, we don't do all that.
We just handle it.
We handle our business.
Okay, so Ray, whatever you need, buddy.
Thank you.
But just like make sure you do it to scuba or,
It's early because you have to turn the show on in the morning.
Okay, just making sure.
Okay.
It's the anonymous sandbox.
Bobby bones.
I just started dating again and been seeing this girl who is really hot and has an unbelievably kind of soul.
It's been going great, but I've become aware that she smells all the time.
I thought on the first date maybe just a fluke.
Maybe she got sweaty rushing to get ready.
But now after several dates,
It's the same.
And to put it bluntly, she smells bad.
We've been dating for a month now.
And my nose has kind of gotten used to it, but sometimes like, woo, I'm not sure it's a deal breaker.
But I'm curious what the best way is to tell someone that you're starting to care about that they smell and recommend better hygiene.
I can't imagine smelling like that and not being aware of it.
Signed.
Dating a hottie with a body odor.
Oh, my gosh.
So I think probably it's not a hygiene issue if it's this long and this.
consistent because I'm sure she showers. I'm sure she does the hygiene stuff. It's probably
something within her body, a hormone, a chemical. Amy, how would you like to be told? And you probably
already know, right? I'm going to be mortified. Maybe I don't know because nobody's taken time to tell
me, because sometimes you don't know that you smell. But I think it's different than bad breath or
like sticky armpits. Oh, I'm with you. Like something is being secreted from her skin. Like she is
likely taking care of herself, but there might need to be some medical intervention.
of some sort.
How would you like to be told?
Gently.
Or not at all.
Or should the dude just cut?
Well, but this is fixable.
So he's going to break up with her over this.
So no, hopefully he can gently do it.
How so?
I'd like to know how, like, you're the girl?
How would you like to be told?
I'm going to be mortified.
But like, hey, I don't know how he feels about her,
but like, hey, you know that I love spending time with you.
And I've really enjoyed our relationship.
I would love to keep this going.
However, I think there might be something going on.
I mean, if I ever had anything going on with me, like, I would want you to tell me.
So this is me telling you, like, I don't know if there's something we're eating or something we're doing, but we need to look into it because it's strong.
And I care about you and other people might be smelling it too, something like that.
This is what I'd do.
I'd be sitting next to her and I would do this.
And I think I smell so bad.
And I would smell my armpits.
Something about me just does not smell.
Like, I'm sorry.
I don't know what it is about me that's bad.
I swear I showered.
I would snow my shirt.
Maybe it's detergent or something.
It might be from you.
Yeah, it's either from you or from me.
Yeah, I think it is from, that way there's never a hole.
It's you.
Like, I think it's me.
But you know it's her.
Yeah, but that's why I'm walking into it gently instead of just going with the awkward.
I don't know.
Because then it gets, you can actually talk about it.
Because if I blame it on me first,
where it's like, man, I think I stink.
Smell your shirt.
Is it?
Yeah, it is you.
I wonder what that is.
That's such a softer way to get into that conversation
where they don't feel attacked and they're not.
True.
So if you want to be with her,
you're going to have to somehow find a way to get to the tip of talking about it.
That's how I would do it.
That would be my tactic.
What if your tactic you're doing that?
and she's like, I don't smell anything.
Okay, then you know she really doesn't smell it.
Because again, if she's like, no, I smell nothing.
Then you know she has no idea of what's happening.
Okay.
Because she also could go, oh, it's me.
I didn't know if you can smell it or not, but I do have this issue.
And it could be brought up that way.
So I would not do that.
Let's sit down face to face.
I would do that.
Let me blame it on me at first and slowly realize it's not me.
And then let's see if she comes to that conclusion herself and then shares it.
because you may learn that she knows it and hasn't figured out how to fix it yet,
she hasn't gone to the doctor, or she just doesn't wash her butt.
It can be any of those.
Morgan, what would you do here?
Honestly, I like your idea to start it off, but if it doesn't, then it's perfect to go into Amy's.
Like you try, you try a discreet way, you try and bring it up casually.
And if she's not, I think I would rather know, because here's the thing,
if he just leaves and he stops dating her, then she's never going to have the closure of why.
Oh, you can text afterward.
What? You smell? Yeah. Yeah, you can text.
No. Nobody's ever going to trust me. People like ghosting for a reason. So I think you tell her if you care about her and you can see a future with her and this is the only thing, I think you tell her. You just have to be so delicate about it. And if I care about this person and they tell me that, I'm going to be like, you know what? I appreciate it. Thank you. This could happen to me. Guys, I don't have my smell.
Well, it's funny you brought this up because this is the way we got this to talk about with you, Morgan. Then you know what? At least I know.
Like, I can fix that.
I can do something about it.
Yeah, the way that conversation happens in the easy way is blame it on yourself first.
And slowly you discover it's her.
If she doesn't want to take it, then you take it.
But you can't, I don't feel like she's going to be in a healthy place to have the conversation.
If you're like, hey, man, this is so good, but you just smell bad.
Well, I didn't say you go that aggressive.
Well, I mean, it's basically, it was, just do this.
Man, I think I stink.
Is it mean?
Oh.
I might be you.
Yeah, I didn't think about that.
Let her.
It is you.
Yes.
I didn't think about that.
You don't have the manipular brain.
I didn't think of that.
There's an old comedian from like the 70s, 80s, and he would go, I get no respect.
Do you know that it is?
No.
Rodney Dangerfield was his name.
He got famous way older in life.
That sounds familiar.
He's like, I get no respect.
That's starting to be lunchboxes is a deal here because he always claims he gets no respect.
And we're going to revisit it.
We had a show at the rhyme in a few days ago for St. Jude.
But he screams he's getting no respect because.
I didn't have parking.
Like, where am I supposed to park when I go to this event?
At first, I had to go to a client dinner beforehand, and I had to be there at like 4.45.
So then the show goes till 10 o'clock.
So that means I'm parking for five hours.
Five hours.
You would think they provide me parking?
Nah, just go parking a garage.
Who's they?
The company, us, whatever.
$52 when I got out of that garage.
It's expensive to park downtown.
You can expense the company for that $52.
It's like, where's the respect?
If you want me to come to this client dinner, you want me to come to,
You want me to come to this million-dollar show?
Give me some parking, man.
I don't think they cared if you went to the show.
It was nice to see there.
I saw you side stage.
I saw Scuba side stage.
And I was running around like a chick on my head cut off.
So a little quick nod here and there.
So I appreciate that.
But I don't think you had to go to the show.
Oh, they told me, oh, yeah.
And then you're going to walk with the clients to the show.
So I walked them from the...
But that's when you could have walked back to your car.
Quick side note about lunchbox at the dinner.
So there's one dessert offered one.
Here we go.
Because it's like a standard.
We're talking about my parking here.
No respect.
We could detour.
Okay, here's what I can say about the respect.
You can expense the company back on that one.
And mostly I'd be like, no, you can't on certain things.
That you can.
Okay.
This is where you did get respect on this, though, because there's a set menu.
And we're all at our respective tables with their people.
With a bunch of clients.
And everybody, they bring out dessert and everybody has taramisu.
That's the only option.
Like, I never even tell anything else.
I get up, I go by lunchbox's table, and he has this huge plate, huge of cheese cakes.
with caramel sauce.
And I was like, wait, whoa, whoa.
Was that on the option?
Did you even order?
Or they, it's just automatically brought it to you?
They just said, okay, dessert's coming and they just plated everybody that was seated.
Sure.
So that's why when I saw his, like, I was like, what is this?
Because like, it looked amazing.
And he was like, oh, I special requested it.
So he does get respect because he was, they brought that out.
But of course, he went off menu, just did what he wanted.
And you got that, no problem.
Well, they put tiramisu and I don't know, I don't.
Tiramisu is not me.
I don't like Tiramisu.
That's not you.
Yeah.
So when they brought it,
because they never said Tiramu Su,
so you're telling me they brought you a plate of Tiramisu,
and then you said.
Well, I saw it on the menu.
I saw it when I sat down to set menu,
and then they put it in front of me.
I was like, oh, I don't want that.
You can just bring me a cheesecake.
That's how you said it?
Yeah.
You can just bring me a cheesecake.
Yeah, I was like,
don't worry about it.
Add it to the bill.
It's fine.
You don't have to ask anybody.
Just go get, I'll take it.
Can I share how I would have said that?
I would have said, because I don't like tiram su, because it tastes like coffee.
I hate coffee, right? Is that coffee?
Yeah, there's a little bit of hint of that.
I would have said, oh, Tiramis too, not a big coffee fan.
Is there any way you have another dessert back there in the back?
If you do, I would love it.
If not, no big deal.
That would be how I would do it because I don't want to put anybody out,
wait a tables for a long time, don't want to do it.
Now, how did you say it again?
I said, oh, you can just take that.
I'm not going to eat it.
You can just bring me a slice of cheesecake.
You can just bring me.
I said, and don't bother asking it's fine.
just if it's extra on the bill, we don't mind.
See, and respect. He got it.
And they said, they said,
did you order that when you were ordering your,
and I was like, no, I didn't realize, just whatever.
Why do you keep waving your hand? Do you wave your hand at a waiter like that?
Like he's snapping.
Like he's about to snap.
I'd spit his food.
I never spit in anybody's food.
I mean, everybody.
Maybe they did.
Every one of us, it was like, there's no way he's really getting cheesecake.
And, man, they brought me out a fat piece of cheesecake.
It's awesome.
What do you think it was valued at if you had to buy it on the menu?
I'm probably, $56?
$15.
bucks. Okay. So expense a company for 35 bucks.
It was, I mean, I'm going to tell you. Everybody in my table was like, man, that looks good.
Is it good? And I'm like, yeah, it's real good. And some people are like, oh, you know, Tiram
masseuse is good, but I really wish I had cheesecake. I was like, we can just order it.
That's how you do it. Now you demanded it. I pretty much demanded it. And I got it.
Yeah, respect. She just put it on the bill. I mean, I think you're right, Bobby. He should
just subtract. There you go. Expense the company.
What do you mean? Why would I? Hey, subtract. I get no one. It's back.
You're just subtracting the respect you got.
Yeah.
Your respect.
Yeah.
And they didn't even provide umbrellas.
I'd have to walk in the rain back to my corner.
Who's providing umbrellas?
I mean, who would provide?
Listen, let me tell you.
He made a whole joke in the restaurant about the umbrellas.
But a joke that's not really a joke.
Well, sort of like that.
Like, Rick, we're in a private room.
And every's in their tables.
And Rick stands up to thank everybody from coming,
calls out some key people.
And then lunchbox is real, it's kind of quiet.
He's like,
and are y'all providing an umbrella
like I don't know how he said it
but it was so quiet and so loud
and then he laughed
like you know he's this boisterous laugh
like the big fake laugh yeah
like it was quiet and then
he was like and he slapped the guy
next to him like
he slapped you guys
he starts choking
you know but like how when you say
something funny and you kind of hit someone next to you like
I'm funny you know like that was so funny
like ha ha ha ha
and he made a joke about the umbrella
And then he was like, ha, ha, ha, ha.
Why I just say, hey, what you put me on the umbrellas back there?
I didn't see, I didn't see any umbrellas.
Because they were like, they stood up and they're like, oh, it's going to be raining outside.
So we need to head to the rhyming.
And I'm like, whoa, you provide an umbrellas?
This is the new Rodney Danger feeling.
Who was that guy next to you?
I don't know.
He works for a company.
He works for an ad agency.
He was a client.
Yeah, it was a client.
Yeah, I feel like you're respected pretty good.
He was.
Send in your 50 bucks.
I'm going to do it.
It's not a threat.
It's not a thread.
You should just do it.
I'll show them.
I'll do it.
And then you'll get your respect, okay?
Okay.
It's time for the good news.
With lunchbox.
Say, home it's something good.
Bill and Sarah are from Ann Arbor, Michigan.
They said, hey, let's go up to Canada, our favorite restaurant toast.
It's like an hour away from their house.
So they drive and they're there at the restaurant.
They're like, let's do something special.
They stand up and say, hey, everybody just lets you know, we're paying for your meal!
And everybody, woo-woo, $1,200 cost them.
Pay for everybody's meal.
Did they know that before they grew?
I don't know.
Thoughts lunchbox?
I am asking you.
I don't know how this made it to Fox 2 Detroit because I've done that numerous times.
No, no, no.
You haven't.
You haven't.
Not like this.
You also did buy one scene.
You walked into a sandwich place where there was a line and two people were in line.
I did it a sandwich shop.
And you did it only to make the news.
Right. And it didn't make the news. So it's really kind of like, does it really work?
Why do you think this worked?
Oh, I know why.
Really, really think about it. Go ahead.
I got it.
Go ahead.
Because U.S. and Canada are fighting.
Oh, it's political.
I do not think so. I'd also like to say this.
Canada, I love you. I don't care what's happening.
Canada, you are my, I don't know if you consider yourself a boy or girl.
Don't care how you identify. I love you.
You're my best brother and best sister.
Just went that on record again.
I've said it before.
That's not the reason.
No, I would say they went into a full restaurant with a lot of people,
had no intention of being on the news.
Oh.
And bought everybody's meal.
Oh, okay.
Yeah.
I feel like everybody in Canada's so nice.
They probably do that all the time, though.
Like another day in Canada, somebody buys the whole restaurant a meal.
Just another day in Canada.
Man, that's crazy.
Gratsville and Sarah.
Don't be angry.
But they were smart.
They weren't anonymous.
So I got their shout out.
Okay, they were smart.
That's what it's all about.
That was tell me something good.
A win is a win.
A win is a win.
I don't care what I'm saying.

and the Big Money Players Network.
It's Will Ferrell.
My dad gave me the best advice ever.
I went and had lunch with them one day, and I was like,
and Dad, I think I want to really give this a shot.
I don't know what that means, but I just know the groundlings.
I'm working my way up through and I know it's a place that come look for up and coming talent.
He said, if it was based solely on talent, I wouldn't worry about you, which is really sweet.
Yeah.
He goes, but there's so much luck involved.
And he's like, just give it a shot.
He goes, but if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay to quit.
If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration.
It would not be on a calendar of, you know,
The cat, just hang in there.
Yeah, it would not be.
Right, it wouldn't be that.
There's a lot of luck.

You're going to see why we're playing the game, Amy, but can you name this sound?
I feel like, is this somebody when they were calling you on AOL or something?
AIM.
No, it's in the news.
news. It has been in the news in the past week or so. Any of you guys? Or you know it? Yeah, Skype.
Skype. Skype. Oh, Skype. They canceled Skype. Skype. Skype's dead. What? Over? Okay, you guys didn't use it.
Oh, no. You didn't use it. Yeah, you didn't use it. But I thought that's what everybody used during COVID.
You're like, they killed the molasses corn on the cob at Burger King? And you're like, nobody bought that. Now all of a sudden you're upset about it.
Okay. I'm going to give you seven of these.
Write your answer down.
These are all sounds from the 2000s.
All this is because Skype was shut down.
And so we're going to do some other sounds from around when Skype was killing it.
Which, by the way, Skype was awesome for a long time.
It was.
Zoom kind of took it, you know?
Here we go.
Guys, write it down.
Hey, Morgan, you should play because you're, it's funny because you're younger and you'll miss it and we'll laugh.
Okay.
Okay, number one, go.
I'm in.
I'm in.
I'm in for the win.
I'm in.
Everybody good?
Yeah.
Morgan.
I just have dial-up written down.
I don't know if that's the name of it, though.
Amy?
Dial-up.
Lunchbox?
Dial-up internet.
Eddie?
I have America online.
Oh, well.
That was it.
That was the sound when you connected.
This is an example of getting a little too specific.
Yeah, getting a little too big for your britches over there.
Well, big for your britches different time.
Made you a little too cocky.
Probably that was being cocky.
Okay, fair enough.
It seems specific.
I put a brand on it.
Okay.
Is he out?
Already?
like that?
It's not your year, my man.
Hey, my woman.
Oh, you're eliminated or you just have one wrong?
Oh, yeah, no, you're just wrong.
Okay.
Yeah, we know.
We didn't announce survivors, my man.
Okay.
My man.
Where did that come from, weirdo?
I have no idea.
That's weird, Amy.
I know.
Okay, you're weird.
You're weird.
All right, here we go, my man's.
Let's go number two.
Some of these, you have to be somewhat specific.
Give me one more time.
I'm in.
I'm in for the wind.
You get over there?
Yeah.
Amy?
Nokia.
Lunchbox?
Cell phone ring.
See, you can't be that generic.
Stop arguing.
We don't have an answer yet.
You're arguing when there's no answer.
We haven't given any result.
So you got a yellow card right there for arguing when there's no reason yet.
Yes, sir, yes, sir.
Okay. Morgan.
I had Tomogachi when it wanted to be fed.
Interesting.
Eddie.
I have Nokia.
The answer is Nokia ringtone.
So lunchbox, you do not get it.
Eddie and Amy do get it.
Don't, don't argue.
You didn't get it.
Because that's specific to Nokia.
That sound is specific only to Nokia.
I had a Nokia.
You did?
I did.
Yeah, I don't think I had one of those.
Dial up internet was specific to nothing.
So if you got specific with it, I'm not just,
no one's arguing.
No one's arguing.
No, he is, and you're over there going,
I can see you.
I'm stewing, yes.
I can see you stew.
Because the question before we were not to be specific,
and then we were not specific, we don't get it.
No, I never said don't be specific.
It's all answer related.
Yellow card for lunchbox.
Oh.
For what?
What's funny is, I don't even watch soccer.
I bet a lot of our listeners don't watch soccer and they're like yellow card.
I don't know what that means because I wouldn't.
Sounds cool though.
All right.
Next up.
You'll get to hear it twice.
One more time.
You'll be good to hear it twice.
I'm in 2000.
Do you have zero, Morgan?
Oh, you have one.
Yeah, I have dialogue.
Amy to Lunchbox One, Morgan, one, Eddie one.
I'm in for the win.
Gosh, I have something.
Okay, I'm going to you.
Everybody, everybody good?
Yeah.
I go to Eddie first.
Eddie?
Superman.
That.
You're close, but you did not get that answer.
That's the name of that song.
Morgan.
I have crank that, soldier boy.
Tell him.
Eddie?
I'm sorry, lunchbox.
I'm a soldier boy.
Amy?
I have a soldier boy.
Tell him.
Except for Eddie, all you other ones are right.
But he does say Superman, right?
Superman.
Yeah.
Yeah, that's what I was, yeah.
Yeah, come on, my man.
All right, next up.
My man.
Okay, we're going to give it to you again.
one more can we talked over at the beginning
I'm in
I'm in for the win
Nokia
lunchbox
that's AIM chat

Eddie
Instant Messenger
Amy
I mean you've got mail
I think Amy is the only one that doesn't get a point there
Why? Because that's not mail
That's not male
That's not male that's not male
That's not male
It's messaging
An AOL instant messenger
tagline, I'm pretty sure.
Hey.
But he didn't say you got mail.
Take it easy, my woman.
Get the Carlo card.
Let's go.
If you get two yellow cards, it's red and you're out of the game and you're out of the next one.
Okay.
What happens if everyone gets red cards?
Then I just play myself and we don't have any answers.
I read the question, we never have answers.
That noise.
So it's AOL instant messenger.
It's not male.
Oh, so only the person that said instant messenger gets out.
No, I accepted instant messenger.
You're about to get red.
You are thin icing.
All right, next one.
Sounds from the 2000s.
I'm going to play it one more time.
This one will need to be specific.
Do you know it?
No, I could have an idea, but.
Okay.
Oh, man.
I'm in.
I'm in for the wind.
Lunchbox.
That is ER, man.
Someone's on life support.
Boop, boop.
Can I hear it again?
See if it's something like life support?
Well, it's different beeps.
Different sounds of beef.
Yeah.
Beep.
Oh, I know it there.
That'd be a weird one.
Morgan.
I had Gray's Anatomy, heartbeat machine.
Okay.
Eddie?
I have the Avengers, but that's so stupid.
What?
From the 2000?
I know, that's why I'm just stupid.
Amy, you have it.
There's like static behind it.
Amy?
Transformers.
It's the show 24.
It's the count of the clock from the show 24.
Oh, that's it.
I don't think I've ever seen that.
It's pretty good.
It was so good.
Amy 3, Lunchbox 3, Morgan 3.
Eddie 2.
Yikes.
With two remaining.
Go.
I'm in for the.
win.
I'm in.
Morgan?
Jersey Shore.
Amy?
Jersey Shore.
Eddie?
Never seen it.
Jersey Shore, though.
Lunchbox?
Jersey Shore.
Good job.
You've never seen it?
Never.
What?
I don't think I've ever seen it.
I know it, but I've never seen it.
Snooky and dopey.
No.
Dog.
Jay Wow.
Jay Wow.
Jim Taining Laundry.
Okay, last one.
Get it.
Again?
I'm in for the win.
Amy, good?
I'm in.

Oh.
I went straight Irish.
Would you play that one more time, Angry Birds?
When you got it on your phone.
It's awesome.
I knew that sounded familiar.
All right, we're going to do this one.
If you don't get this one, we'll go to sudden, sudden death.
All right, go.
A sound from the 2000s.
One more time?
I'm in, I guess.

I want to get in her head.
No, I don't know about that. Next up. And go.
One more time.
Lunchbox. Yep. Paramount.
Nah. Morgan.
T.H.X.
That's the funny guess we guess when we have no idea. We just know what to sound. No, that's PlayStation 2.
I almost guessed THX.
I really did. I really did.
We're running out.
I'm sorry, man.
I know, these are hard.
And go.
Are you ready to?
Morgan.
Morgan.
Spage Bob!
Correct.
SpongeBob.
Wow.
Winner.
These are the top 10 defining events that millennials live through.
Now, they are defining a millennial between 1980 and 1996.
Anyone 29 to 45.
Although, Eddie, we got to turn your mic off, buddy.
I mean, I missed about one year.
Yeah.
Sorry.
What?
Sorry, bro.
You didn't live through this stuff like we did.
I did, though.
So are we, Morgan, you're a millennial?
Yeah, the bottom of it.
I'm like, they go, I hate being a millennial.
I'm like a geriatric millennial.
Yeah.
Because I'm the oldest of them.
You're what, 80?
Uh-huh.
Yeah, you're right there.
Yeah, what are you, 79?
Sorry, check yourself out, buddy.
Hey, show yourself the door.
See ya.
That's crazy.
Top 10 defining events.
You want to take any guesses?
Yes.
Go ahead.
9-11.
Number one.
September 11.
2001 when the first plane hit America was changed forever.
I think we all can remember exactly where we were vividly.
I don't know where I was yesterday, but I remember vividly exactly what happened here,
where I went where I learned about it, where we went at school, the corner and the, yeah,
just crazy.
All right, take another one.
Pandemic.
Is it too soon?
Yeah, the recent.
Pandemic would be even Gen Z.
Okay.
Well, then let me back up.
O.J. Simpson.
Good one.
That's a really good one.
OJ Simpson's at number six.
Yeah.
After the wife and actor, a former NFL player, OJ Simpson was found stabbed to death. All eyes were on OJ. If you weren't there to see an experience how much that just engulfed all of culture, I think we could tell you all day and it wouldn't matter. It was everywhere. I remember the chase. All of it was crazy.
Okay, go ahead.
The Challenger.
Did not make it.
Really.
That was a big deal.
It was huge.
Guys, I'm not saying it's not a big deal for the record.
Eddie, you're not in this.
Yeah.
Hey, old man.
I remember that.
Maybe that's why it was bigger to you.
Eddie's like, the Great Depression?
No.
Okay, go ahead.
Okay, the Berlin Wall.
Okay, Reagan.
That's probably a little too old.
It is?
That was 89 or something.
88, 80, 90?
Yeah, but you have to think.
Okay.
Some of the people born were born in like the 90s.
Don't get angry.
It's not like it.
You're not going to lose your story.
scholarship. We're just asking.
Because like, what's the range? Because I'm also like,
Britney Spears shaving her head.
Top 10 defining events millennials live through. Again,
millennials are people born between 1980 and 1996.
Yeah.
Making them between 29 and 45 years old.
Gen Z is 1997 to 2012.
So we're doing millennials.
I'm not angry, by the way. I'm not either.
You're just aggressive. I'm just aggressive.
Facebook.
Boom. The rise of social media.
Okay. I will give you that.
Well, in that case,
The rise of cell phones, emails.
Let me read it this one a little bit first.
Millennials experienced the arrival of smartphones at a period of time when lives were having the most impact for them because it was our age.
We were all growing.
But smartphones and the rise of social media fundamentally changed lives.
Yeah.
So you have September 11th at number one.
The rise of social media at number two.
And you have O.J. Simpson at six.
There are seven more.
Okay.
Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky.
No.
What?
That was huge.
The blue dress.
Pap on.
Hey.
I need you to relax.
I remember that.
I need you to relax.
Okay.
Yeah.
There is one presidential one that's not that one.
I think that was too early though because that was probably like 94.
So so was O.J.
But you'd have been too.
Yeah, I don't know, dude.
I'm just reading the list.
Okay.
So what's the presidential?
I mean, don't tell us, but like a little hint.
I just did.
It's also presidential.
Huh.
I guess so don't know where to go because, I mean, we also lived through our first black president.
That's the one.
There you go.
Right.
That was, yeah.
The election of Barack Obama 2008, the election of America's first black president was a momentous occasion, a huge set forward in a country with a long history of division and prejudice.
That is number three.
What else?
I feel like you're about out.
No, I'm not.
You just keep going to what else?
Yeah, yeah.
Because I'm thinking, what would it be?
Do you want a minute?
I guess Brittany shaving her head wasn't on there?
Brittany shaving her head?
Wow, not on there.
Oh, really?
Really? What about boy bands?
Let's check.
O-Town kicking Bobby Bones out of the band.
Oh, made it.
Comes in.
No, no, no, no.
Okay.
Lunchbox.
Now, you're getting left over, so the easy ones you're not getting.
But what do you have?
Yeah, Madonna, Britney Kiss.
No, no.
Stupid.
What?
That's not on there?
That was huge.
Okay, but things...
Yeah, it was a moment, yes.
What about Justin Timberlake?
No, no, got to stop with that one.
But that changed TV.
Okay.
Hold on.
Change radio.
Do you mean Janet Jackson?
Yes.
Justin's in Merlake and Janet Jackson.
Oh, Janet Jackson.
But no.
What?
Oh, music.
Downloading music.
Napster.
Yes, you made it on the list.
There you go.
Boom.
Good job.
1999, 2001.
It's the number nine one.
Napster.
Music plays an important role
in every generation.
But thanks to file sharing,
millennials experienced it in unprecedented ways.
Yeah, what they mean is free.
Oh my gosh, guys.
The number one.
We already have number one.
We already have.
In my.
mind.
Okay.
Prantheses in my mind.
Something on MTV.
Go ahead.
The internet.
I mean, that's the biggest thing in the world.
Is that too broad?
I don't think it's too broad, but I think
probably
97, when kids were born
in like 97 and on, because I grew up
high school in 98, everybody didn't have the
internet. Right. Internet
wasn't like a thing for everybody.
It wasn't you big what is until like 2000.
But I hear you, it was big.
Okay, all right, I got another one.
What is it?
Rest and peace.
Princess Diana.
Oh, big one.
Oh, yeah, that was crazy.
I mean, we had a song about it.
I'd like to say, I'd like to say this.
Guys, when I say it didn't make the list, it doesn't mean it wasn't a big deal.
Okay?
It didn't make the list.
So don't get angry.
It didn't?
What about Tupac and Biggie?
Brittany's kiss?
I hate you.
No, dude.
East Coast, West Coast.
No.
Take a second.
Think about it.
I'm thinking.
Okay.
Did we get the other?
Oh, we got the president one.
We have one, two, three, four, five left.
Five left.
And I'll say this.
Desert Storm.
Okay, guys.
Oh, that was huge.
Oh, there are no.
Remember, though.
No more taxes?
Stop.
Remember, part of this has to be if you're born in 1996, you got to experience it.
And I know it.
Okay.
Okay, okay, okay.
You're right.
So that's why Pearl Harbor doesn't make it.
Okay.
Oh, I got it.
We're going to come back.
Wait.
No.
Take a break.
Yes.
No.
Go to back.
Take a break.
I'm going to play this.
We're going to come back.
And I have five left.
I will say this.
One sad.
One sucks.
Oh.
One monumental.
One devastating.
And one lunchbox should have gotten already.
All right.
I got it.
Okay.
Back in a second.
A win is a win.
A win is a win.
I don't care what you're saying.
Yep.
That's me.
Clever Taylor the 4th.

There's two golden rules that any man should live by.
Rule one, never mess with a country girl.
You play stupid games, you get stupid prizes.
And Rule 2, never mess with her friends either.
We always say that, trust your girlfriends.
I'm Anna Sinfield, and in this new season of the girlfriends...
Oh my God, this is the same man.
A group of women discover they've all dated the same prolific con artist.
I felt like I got hit by a truck.
I thought, how could this happen to me?
The cops didn't seem to care.
So they take matters into their own hands.
I said, oh, hell no.
I vowed.
I will be his last target.
He's going to get what he deserves.
Listen to the girlfriends.
Trust me, babe.

My next guest, you know from Step Brothers Anchorman,
Saturday Night Live,
and the Big Money Players Network.
It's Will Ferrell.
Woo, woo, woo, woo.
My dad gave me the best advice ever.
I went and had lunch with them one day, and I was like, and Dad, I think I want to really give this a shot.
I don't know what that means, but I just know the groundlings.
I'm working my way up through, and I know it's a place that come look for up and coming talent.
It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat.
Just hang in there.
Yeah, it would not be.
Right, it wouldn't be that.
There's a lot of luck.

We're doing the top 10 defining events millennials live through.
And this is from mojo.com.
And according to them, this is their definition of a millennial.
Millennials are people born between 1980 and 1996, making them between 29 and 45 years old and 2025.
So even on the back end of this, you had to be able to live through this.
Because some of you guys are guessing stuff like the printing press.
No.
I have it now.
On the list at number one was September 11th.
And number two was the rise of social media and phones.
Three was the election of Barack Obama, America's first black president.
Six was the O.J. Simpson chase in 1994, whatever happened.
Napster at number nine.
Okay.
Amy, you think you have one?
I do.
Okay.
Sadly, Columbine.
Yep.
Yes.
That's what I wrote.
Good, Amy.
Columbine, 1999, was really, how do you say this?
It was the first of many mass shootings.
Yeah.
Because it was also able to be spread around and 24-hour news cycle was happening.
It wasn't social media at the time, but it was everywhere all the time and no one had seen anything like it.
So will there be others on the list like that or was that cover it?
Because I haven't.
Of school shootings?
Yeah.
That's the only school shooting.
Okay.
There are four left.
I'm ready.
Okay.
We're not to you right now.
Oh.
Okay.
He's locked and loaded.
Okay.
If you don't have one, you can bow out.
Morgan is chomping at the bit.
We didn't give her a chance a minute ago.
Okay.
Because she was literally just born.
Are you done?
For now?
Well, what do you have?
Well, I don't really have.
I gave you like seven minutes.
Okay, good.
You're good.
You're checking out.
Hey, good to see you.
I'm not checking out.
Good job.
Morgan.
I feel like it, I don't know how it would be defined, but I mean, we had MTV that started
and streaming services.
something with streaming services
that feels like the creation of that really happened
Oh like Netflix?
Yeah.
Yeah, no.
You were chomping at the bit for that?
That's a huge thing that happened when I was...
I agree.
It's huge, guys, but you know the rules.
I have one more.
Go ahead.
Harambe.
Oh, justice for Harambe still.
Is he a gorilla?
Yeah.
Cincinnati.
That was a huge deal.
Cincinnati or Cleveland, Cincinnati, I think.
When they shot him.
Oh, they shot him.
Yeah, because the kid was in and they just...
That's terrible. Justice Paramed. No, didn't make it.
Dang. Okay. Lunchbox. You're so sure over there.
Yeah, well, you said I should have got this already.
One of the things you should have gotten immediately.
So it's easy. Only fans.
No.
What? That's easy. That's like five years ago.
Okay, my bad. Reality TV.
No. Specifically, it's the real world.
Okay.
Oh.
1992. Younger millennials may not get this one, but the reality series was a major part of pop culture.
MTV was big then to the real.
world is at number 10.
When people start getting you there.
No, you guys can't take that.
Stop, stop. You got no credit for that.
No credit.
What was that tagline that was so famous?
Like, strangers living in a house.
Stop being polite and start being real.
That's it.
Real world.
San Diego.
Start getting real.
There are three left.
Oh, oh.
Octum.
Oh.
I can give you.
John K.
Plus eight.
I'm about to go crazy if they're just yelling stuff.
Don't yell.
I need to.
Do you want more shot?
Yes, I want more shots, guys.
Come on.
One more shot.
TRL.
I can, no, no, no.
Give us a hint.
September 11th is one, social media two, election of Barack Obama three,
Columbine five.
So let's stay in the top five.
Okay.
This next thing happened like 2008.
The crisis.
Oil spill.
Like the Exxon Valdez, I believe, before that.
Bird flu.
Donated his hair.
That was just for any oil spill.
Yeah, H1N1.
Yeah, yeah. It was the great recession of 20, 2007, 2008 when the market completely tanked down.
Yeah, that's pretty bad. I remember that. What? Yeah, we weren't into money then.
Yeah, I don't know. I had a job. Yeah. And they were firing people and... Oh, really? Yeah, it was a deal. Yeah.
I remember that. The collapse of the housing bubble, I didn't have a house, though. Um, yeah, is a disaster. Okay. There's that one. Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac or...
What not that. Whatever Toby Kissing things about. Freddy Mac. Yeah. Freddy Mac. Kiss my...
All right, two left.
Can I guess one?
Yep.
Well, you're all, no, you're a little too old.
You've aged out of this a little bit.
Just one guess, just one guess.
Did you mention of basketball?
No.
Dr. Naismith?
Oh, good.
Bill Cosby.
Ew.
No, way later.
Oh.
Yeah.
Which part of Bill Cosby?
Well, you know.
Oh, the bad part.
Got it.
Oh.
Yep.
Friends.
No.
Okay, hints.
Give us a hint.
Two left. One was absolutely devastating.
Devastating.
I feel like covered all the devastation.
You did? This one was massive.
What about Joan Bennett Ramsey?
John Bennett Ramsey?
Yeah, thank you.
No, there are theories that you're her, though, if you haven't seen them online.
What?
Morgan's John Bonnet Ramsey, if you guys seen those theories.
No, but wait a second.
Tell me she doesn't look like John Boney Ramsey as a kid.
She does.
Catch it, girl.
Yeah, Hurricane Katrina.
Oh, Katrina.
Oh my gosh.
How did you guys not get that?
It was a Category 5 hurricane.
Obviously hit Louisiana, also hit Florida.
The youngest millennials were nine, the oldest, 24th.
That's about where we were, 23, 24.
What year did that happen?
2005.
Okay.
That was rough.
The levees broke.
Love.
That was devastation.
And there's one more.
One more.
Are you happy?
What's the description on that?
I'd say happy, yeah.
Happy.
I would say happy.
I think some people.
Oh, the Cubs won.
That's 2016.
That's pretty awesome. That should be on here, though.
Yes, Cubs won the World Series and have a mini backpack with the Cubs on it that you guys make fun of.
Yeah.
Is that the curse of the billy goat?
Happy.
It has that to do with the Cubs.
Like a happy, how?
Like, happy.
Some people don't think it's happy.
Some people still are against it.
But I'm not.
I'm happy for it.
Oh, legalized gambling.
No, but that was recent.
That was recent.
I'm happy for that one.
Is it a TV show?
No.
Why are you happy about it?
Oh, legalizing marijuana.
No.
No.
I literally never touched it.
Morgan's like, crack, crack, being free.
No.
But I would, yeah, but I, yeah.
Okay, just another hint.
It's divisive and it's something that.
TikTok.
No, that's too late.
It's divisive.
It's divisive, but I am happy.
I get that you're having.
Gay marriage.
Gay marriage, yeah.
Oh, okay.
Yeah.
And the battle might be far from over,
but things have certainly come a long way 2004,
2015, just a few short decades ago.
It was fundamentally ingrained in mainstream media that gay people couldn't get married.
And the legalization in 2004, it started then.
And it kind of changed that worldview.
Yeah.
So that's it.
We did all 10.
Well, yeah.
We got there.
A lot of hints towards the end there.
I mean, I'm shocked that Bill Clinton and Monica Olensky aren't on there.
That would have been like 94 or something.
I know you said that, but also 92 was on there, 90 other things from.
Yeah, you know, I have no.
I don't know.
Yeah, that was a big part of it, though, for sure.
You know what, number 11.
You can have it.
It's time for the good news.
With producer Eddie.
Tell me something good.
There's a Burger King in North Branch, Minnesota, and they wanted to honor their best
favorite customer.
It was 90-year-old Jerry Park, and he just passed away.
He used to go to Burger King all the time, sit in the same chair.
So the employee said, hey, why don't we engrave his chair?
And so they had to go through corporate, and corporate says,
said, go for it. If he was one of your favorite customers, do it. So they engraved his chair.
They showed up to the funeral all in uniform with his chair. And the family was like,
oh my gosh, this is awesome. The fact they showed up in uniform. That's really cool.
That kind of gave me chills on the legs. That's a really good story.
And so he was in the hospital for his last few days and they took him food and everything.
It was his favorite order. And it was just a whole thing because he went to burking all the time.
That's just people caring who didn't have to care, but did care. That uniform thing, I know it's
not the military, so not the same.
Yeah.
But it kind of feels like the junior varsity military.
Yeah.
Yeah.
It does.
I like it.
Like people showed up together.
Great story.
That's what it's all about.
That was tell me something good.
Now time for the morning corny.
The morning corny.
What do you call friends you like to eat with?
What do you call friends you like to eat with?
Taste buds.
Okay.
That was the.
Morning Corny.
You made me nervous because you've kind of done some slippery almost adult ones.
Yeah, lately like your mind's been.
After dark?
Yeah.
Yeah.
I want to play an after dark one now, but we're going to bleep it out.
Okay.
So if you're on the podcast, you will be able to hear it.
It's not for me.
It's from a listener.
Yeah, it's from a listener.
Okay.
Ray, would you please play Britt from North Carolina?
I was just calling in asking if we could get a morning corny after dark, and I'll start
you off.
there no pregnant Barbies because Ken came in another box.
Oh, man.
I thought you were beeping it.
Oh, that's crazy.
Yeah.
Okay.
Yeah, we heard it, but they beeped it.
That's crazy, man.
That was solid.
Okay, this is the only time Morgan and lunchbox have laughed out loud.
I mean, that was actually a good one.
That was a real deal.
Y'all laughs at my dirty ones.
They can't be dirty right now, though.
Like, you threw one last week at it.
It's more like, you can't do that this early.
But that one, if you want to hear it,
go to the Bobby Bone Show podcast,
because that one was good.
That one was R.
My one last week was PG-13.
You're just like PG-17 and a half.
I can almost move out of the house.
I want to play a song.
I thought it was a comedy song.
This guy is right up in the video on TikTok
and his fingers are on the keys,
but it's very close.
And he starts the song and I'm like,
this is going to be hilarious.
It turns out not to be hilarious.
I liked it so much I want to play it.
His name is Slim Dan number nine, and the song is called The Vines.
Right now you're stupid.
You can't even talk, but one day you'll think that you're smart.
You'll answer my questions with two-letter sentences and make out with girls in my car.
And you'll come home high with some horrible lie, but your ass will be two steps behind.
Because back in the day I was doing the same.
We both grow from the same mind.
Come some grandma and grandpa and their parents, parents,
and also mom's grandparents too.
They're living inside you.
They're arguing and fighting.
They're all telling you what to do.
Now you're going to sleep.
sleep and I'm closing the door but I know that you're never alone because they're in your dreams if you're
talking Steve could you tell him that I say hello the people who died you brought him back to life
you got all of their faces combined when I look at you I see everyone too we all. We all. We all
grow from the same vine yeah we all grow from the same vine
awesome I love that it's really cool so good thought it was gonna be funny
because he's like something stupid and then all of a sudden it's out all the way back
around and rarely I just grab a song and bring it in it out but yeah his name is slim
dan nine thought it was pretty good there's a guy I guess the story's out now these hackers
stole hundreds of Taylor Swift tickets
and then they ended up selling them
and made $600,000 in profit.
Whoa!
That's...
How do you still paper tickets, though?
Yeah.
It's the thing.
But those tickets were going for thousands and thousands of dollars.
But two individuals have been arrested and arraigned in New York City
for stealing more than 900 concert tickets.
Many of which were from Taylor's Erez Tour.
They made $600,000.
They allegedly made off with approximately 993 tickets.
this person and the accomplice work for Sunderland, a third-party contractor for Stubbhub,
and they use access to Stubhub-Hum system to intercept tickets.
So I guess it really wasn't paper.
But they were intercepting.
Yeah.
That's crazy.
Well, sophisticated.
Over half a million dollars.
What's the best concert you've ever been to?
Off top of your head.
Oh, I'm nervous.
No need.
Don't be nervous?
You're not getting fired.
This is fun.
Yeah, you don't have to commit to it.
I heart country.
Okay, there you go.
A company soldier there.
No.
Well, I love that it's a...
I say you're not getting fired.
She goes, I are a country festival.
It's a rotating stage and you get to see lots of acts.
Like, boom, boom, boom.
Eddie?
Yeah, Pearl Jam opening up for you two in Hawaii.
Oh, yeah, that's good.
That was awesome.
Watchbox?
M&M, JZ, and B-O-B at Yankee Stadium in New York.
Morgan?
First ever concert, I was seen Shania Twain.
I remember her leopard outfit and I touched her hand.
That's pretty cool.
Okay, I know my real one.
No, you already have.
You missed.
Just roll with our country.
No, no, no, no.
It's filibustering.
Don't fall from the same fine.
What's yours?
Mine is.
It's going to be the one.
It's ACL, but it's the John Mayer.
John Mayer outside at ACL Music Festival.
It played for like an hour and a half.
I wasn't in the front because I wasn't fighting people,
but I was like in the front third.
And it's like raining and I was all wet,
but I was also by myself.
So I think it's awesome.
I'm a massive John Mayer fan.
No, you have our country.
You cannot change.
I'm changing.
No.
I am.
If she says it, bleeper.
It involves...
Raging idiots.
Thank you.
No, no.
No, we rode...
That was so fun.
Wasn't that amazing?
Yeah, I heart country.
That's what I heard.
I heard.
I heard, too.
All right, thank you.
Wake up, you wake up in the morning.
And then you turn the radio on and the dial just keeps on turn.
It's all turn.
And you're here ready and me lunch by.
More game two.
School with Steve Red
Abbott's right in this week's next bit.
Back is right in this week's next bit.
Now Bobby's on the mic
so you know what this is.
This is the Bobby Vaughn's store.
All right, weekend, check in.
Amy, you went away with your ex-husband and your kids.
Yes.
And it was a really successful weekend.
Like, I couldn't have gone any better.
Anything you want to tell us?
You have to say,
anything. I'm just really happy that we're in the place that we're in and no like we're not getting back
together or anything. That's all I wanted you to say. No, but we had like probably the best case
scenario for a weekend like this. So we were really working on our co-parenting and focusing on our kids
and any things they need to work through with their adoption because we adopted them as older kids.
They were seven and eleven when they came to America and there's just some stuff that's coming up as they age,
which is great and we need to know how to come alongside them and support them better.
So we decided to go do this intensive together as a family.
And I kind of expected that Ben and I would maybe get into a few little tiffs because,
I don't know, the last few months we've had those moments where we've just had to be like,
let's talk later.
And we got along so well.
So it just was a reminder that there's hope and it's possible and there's healing that can take place.
And I think that if I had requested something like this, even just six months,
months ago. He would have been like, no, I'm not doing that. I think you're a good example for
co-parenting everywhere, because that is not comfortable. It's not. There's other people where we
were. We were doing individual type of stuff with our family, but other people there were like,
wait, oh, do you want to sit by your wife? And he'd be like, oh, that's not my wife.
Next one. He's like, we don't need to sit together. And so, and the kids were like, yeah,
this is my parents. And, you know, but people kept referring to us as husband and his wife. And we would
just clarify, oh, and then they would be like, oh, that's interesting.
I think that will be so lazy.
I would just let them say it.
Totally, me too.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
That's great.
That's great.
All right.
I would imagine you come back more tired than you left.
Yes, I think I'm running on a little bit of a journal and from the excitement of how well it went,
because even my kids, we didn't know how much they would participate because
obviously the more they participated, the more they would get out of it.
And both of them, like, we thought they'd be like, oh, this is so lame,
because you have no TV, no phones, no nothing.
Like, you are straight in the wilderness.
Like, I don't even know.
Like, just having talks and heavy stuff and going over things and meditations.
And they did, like, they did so great.
And I said, when we were leaving, I said, did y'all think that this was worth it?
And they both said, yes.
And they both opened up in ways and said things they had never shared with us.
Like, I don't know if I told you, I think at some point over the show I mentioned that when we first adopted our daughter,
she said nobody's the boss of me.
And she was 11 when she got here
and she's coming from an orphanage
where she sort of ruled the ruse
like she was one of the older kids.
And she was able to express to us
and this is just for any parent out there
to make sure you check in with your kids
and see if they still feel a similar way.
Because sometimes we bring that up to her.
We're like, well, you know,
we know that you think nobody's the boss of you
and guess what?
Like we kind of use that language.
And she was able to express to us
in one of our talks.
she said, I would like for y'all to know that I don't remember saying that.
Like, I don't, I don't remember saying nobody's the boss of me.
And I would like for y'all to stop using that against me.
Oh, nice.
And we, I mean, Vin and I just looked to each other.
So mature.
And, like, I have goosebumps saying it back because that's also something she said in such a
vulnerable time.
Like, she barely knew English, but she figured those words out.
And so I thought she was serious.
And for the moment, she probably was a little bit, but she's shed that and she doesn't remember it.
And so we need to shed that as well.
So just a reminder to parents, do a check-in.
Your kids may not feel the same as they once did.
And I would like to say to all of our executives, when I said you're not the boss of me.
You meant it.
You know.
Do you remember that?
You know, I do.
Still on the fence about that one?
Yeah.
We'll finish this.
I wanted to give Amy some space there.
Talk about that.
So we'll finish this.
Do we can check in and some news.
give us one second. I'm going to be honest with you guys. We've had technical problems all morning,
and I'm about to rip out every hair in my head. So it's probably just better that we take a quick
break. I like my hair. It's like the one thing I have going from me physically. So give us a second
and we'll be at. Thank you.
Bobby Bone Show. Bonehead.
This story comes us from La Port Indiana. A 27-year-old man was out at the bars and his girlfriend
FaceTimed him and says, hey, why don't you come over to
my place. He's like, I'm on
my way. He starts driving and he's
driving and she decides, hey,
you want to see something you're coming to see? So she
flashes him.
On. FaceTime.
While he's driving. And so he gets distracted
and gets stuck on the railroad tracks.
I see that. Because he's, whoa.
Why would you get stuck on? Dude, it's a boob.
I get it.
I have a feeling there's other things
going on. Probably. Probably, but on the railroad track.
Okay, go ahead. And then,
Boom!
Gets hit by the train.
Oh my gosh.
This is like worst possible case in every situation that happened.
One, girl says come over.
He happens to be driving over railroad tracks that a train was coming through.
Flashes him right at the time of the train.
And then he gets stuck.
Has he never seen a boob?
Is that part of it?
No, he didn't say they had never seen a boob.
It was just he was excited about his girlfriend's boobs.
Yeah, I see.
And so he got no injuries, but he was...
Even after the train hit the car?
Wow.
But also when you, the cops come,
You've been hit by the train.
Don't you come with a different story?
I mean, why was he like, I was excited by my girlfriend's bill?
Like you said, he was on son.
I'm glad you asked, Amy, because he had a blood alcohol content of 0.27.
There we go.
Oh, my gosh.
Yeah, 0.08.
That's drunk.
So that's over 3 times legal level.
Okay, wow.
Yeah, here's the thing.
You have a boob too, sir.
I know it's not the same, but you can look down just to get you there.
Okay.
I'm Lunchbox.
That's your bonehead story of the day.
Here's the voicemail.
Go ahead.
I saw Amy the one single time that I ever went to Nashville.
I was like, oh my gosh, it would be so crazy if I saw somebody from the show.
I saw Amy at a park hiking, walking area, and I was too afraid to say hi.
I still regret it, and it was like three years ago at this point, and I was too afraid to say hi.
Oh, so she saw me three years ago.
I was thinking, oh, she definitely probably saw me hiking with my boyfriend if it was recent.
That's fun
You should always say hi
Yeah because it's weird
About Amy hiking
If I may
She talks the whole time
She hikes
It doesn't matter who she's with
Oh
So maybe they felt like
She's in the middle of a conversation
But you talk
That's your thing
You go and you talk the whole time
Yeah
I mean if I'm with a girlfriend
Or if I'm with whoever
I'm by yourself
I'm by myself
Yeah
I might be talking
I'm going to the phone
I might be talking to the phone
Or I might be working through something
By yourself
With no phone
Give me one more right
Big fan of the show
Longtime listener
But I will say
I have been missing.
Dude news.
Need to bring that one back.
Fair?
We don't often bring Dude News back,
but because of your request,
