It's time for the Bobby Bones Post Show.
Here's your host, Bobby Bones.
He was trying to create a username for a Draft King's account
so you can bet on basketball.
Yeah, but the problem has already created one.
And so I just want to start over and create a new account.
So I got to get a new and some stuff is taken.
But like, who has Amy places bets and wins already?
I typed that in and it says, we're sorry, this username is already taken.
That's probably the one you went with last time.
Why not do the opposite?
Amy loses money.
Ooh, the reverse jinks.
No.
first jinx. You believe in Manifest, I don't, I would, you know, play the opposite.
Okay, do this.
Oh, it's risky. Let's think of Amy's names for draft king.
Okay.
Uh, how about?
Amy's awesome.
Money making mama.
Ooh.
That's weird.
That is weird.
Why, you're a mama?
What about just Amy money? Is that on there?
Big Baller Brown.
Amy. Do you want Amy in it?
I don't care. It doesn't matter?
No.
Oh, so it's a lot of him.
Maybe I just type in...
How about pay me, Amy?
Ooh, that's good.
Pay me, Amy.
My nickname when I was younger was famous, Amos.
Okay, that's nothing to do.
Why was that your nickname?
I don't know.
The cookies, I think, and my name was Amy.
I think pay me, Amy is pretty good.
That's really good.
See if that's a thing.
Pay me, Amy.
Okay.
And if it is, just add 69 to it, right?
You're good?
Yeah, right.
Just do that.
And then I'll give you three picks, and two of them will win, and you can make some like.
Okay.
Oh, okay.
You're so confident.
I love it.
Just give her sure ones.
Username, pay me, Amy.
Is available.
There are no sure ones.
You're betting spreads.
There's not.
You can just do like a for sure money line.
That way she feels good about herself.
Says, we're sorry.
This username is already taken.
What?
How about please pay me, Amy?
Okay.
Please pay me.
I'm Amy.
I showed Eddie my...
That was available.
My draft king.
And it's kind.
I've taken 200 bucks.
No, you're definitely winning.
To great heights.
Yes.
Since the last time we talked about it,
it's been doubled.
then.
Yeah.
I'm going to give a different email.
I'm going to do four things.
But I don't like giving out picks because I'm not trying, that's not my thing.
But I'm going to give Amy three picks and two of them should win.
I have to do four things with Amy Brown at gmail.com because I already used my personal email.
But I forgot that password.
I don't know what she's talking about me either.
She's mumbling.
If you type in an email, I typed in my email that I like to use and it's like that
one's taken because clearly I set up an account before.
Just let me know when you get that set up.
We have a lot to do.
Oh, we do.
Do you want to check out and just do that for a minute?
No, I can do both.
You cannot.
Yes, I can.
You're really bad to moment like that.
Try me.
Okay, just do that.
Get Real with Caroline Hobby.
A little promo here.
This week, Caroline, has on Lee Bryce.
They've actually known each other for 20 years.
As a dad of three, they've, on this podcast,
touched on how fatherhood has influenced his music career
and what it's like being on the road with the family.
So that is Get Real with Caroline Hobby.
Also, Movie Mike's Movie Podcast.
Mike has an episode about the biggest,
movie stars in the world right now.
I ranked actors by their worldwide box office numbers,
movie salaries,
and how much of a following they have on social media
to where he thinks is his list
the top 10 biggest movie stars right now.
Yes, Amy.
Two things.
I just typed in promo code Bones.
Shout out to you.
Thank you.
And also, my first listener Q&A went up yesterday,
so that's available at Four Things with Amy Brown.
Okay.
Listener.
Put your card in there?
Well, I'm agreeing to terms of use.
Don't bother reading those just quick.
Next?
Yes.
Oh.
Oh, my password.
doesn't have a special character.
Let me add an exclamation point.
Excuse me.
We don't say that on air.
They don't know what the other thing is.
But let's just say my password manifests some winning too.
And then Amy wonders why she's been scammed.
We're doing a whole segment with, how do they hack into my account?
Yeah, they won't get it.
Okay.
All right, first name, Amy.
Okay, see, you do that.
We'll keep going here.
I know, but I was able to commute.
This guy, Mario.
has spent two decades living on cruise ships.
He's known as Super Mario.
He spent 20 years living ship to ship.
He says he's happiest guy in the world.
He spent decades in finance and said,
I'm going to make a change.
So now he traveled the world without leaving his home.
So it's from hallowpink.com or hallow, whatever that site is.
But scuba is always trying to get me to do a cruise thing with the morning show.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, my gosh.
We should do that.
Scuba.
What?
What are you yelling?
You're saying, yeah.
Because I know they could sell one of these for big.
bucks. But I'm going to tell you my problem
with it. I went on a boat
and I vomited the entire time.
That was a fishing boat. It doesn't matter. It's a much smaller
boat. I was on the ocean. I was on the ocean. I'm good.
If you want to do a cruise ship and you
want to send Morgan
and Ray. And me?
And you?
Great. But what are they going to do
on there? What's the whole point
of getting on the cruise? Take pictures, check in
from the show. Yeah, listeners get to
to... Oh. Yeah, Eddie, you sell
like a Backstreet Boys cruise. Oh, I don't
know about that. I don't know if we're doing like a listener one. I think it's just to promote the
cruise line. I don't think we're selling our own crew. Oh, you're saying just go like on a vacation.
Yeah, you just go to a vacation. And then you do cut-ins from the cruise.
Heck yeah, I'm in. No, I said Morgan and Ray.
Wait, why them? Hold on. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. You're going to be in LA. You're doing
the game show stuff. You're getting other things. You got to give people things too.
I mean, Ray got a dinner. Goodness gracious. Here we go.
Stop. I'm afraid I would get, I get so motion sick all the time.
But so do I though, and I know you won't on this because of how big the ship is.
I can't risk it. I can't risk it.
We can fly you out in a helicopter the next day if you don't like it.
I can't.
I think you'd have a lot of fun.
I'm afraid I would get on there and get sick and would not be able to come off the boat.
I'm almost guaranteed you wouldn't.
Of how big the ships are now, you would not get sick.
Plus, they got casinos, live music, unlimited food.
Can I bet on my draft king's account?
Because we got to Florida, and Eddie said, hey, don't worry.
We were going down to play our show, but we left early because the bad weather.
and we're going to go watch Arkansas play LSU in the SEC tournament.
And Eddie goes, oh, we can bet in Florida.
Don't worry about it.
I already Googled it.
Every time we travel, I Google.
Can I bet?
So we get down there and I try to place a bet, and it said, you can't bet in Florida.
And he's like, oh, sorry about that.
No, you probably had to download a separate app for Florida.
Thank you.
That's it.
That's not the case.
Draft Kings, you could not.
There was only one app.
And then you could bet horses.
That's how Calvin really got in trouble.
So that's, Eddie's like, don't worry, man, you can bet.
And I'm not, download, I'm only Draft Kings and all my money's in Draft Kings, and we didn't bet.
Eddie didn't look it up.
No, I did look it up.
I just didn't realize that you needed a separate app.
And your Draft King did not.
Your Drive King did not work there.
There's only one app, yes.
So, what was my point on this?
I had a whole story.
Do you want to make sure you can bet on the cruise line?
I want to make sure I get him a draft Kass.
I think that was it.
Because Eddie looked it up.
And then what else did you look?
look up and you were wrong. Yeah, because I was two-for on the day.
You're O-F-F-R-F-R. Oh, oh.
O-Fer.
I don't even want to say the next thing because I got in trouble.
You got in trouble, man?
Yeah, because I called Nick. Oh, yeah.
Yes. We don't need to talk about that part of it on the air.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. That I'm getting in trouble for.
But Eddie was like O-Fer on giving me advice.
Amy's still on her account. Amy?
Yep.
Still good? Yep. Get your card in there yet?
Working on it.
All right? She's working there.
I decided to go back to my original email and just say,
forgot password and then I just reset it and I'm in. I got a new password. Keep setting it up.
We're going to keep rolling on without you. Um, Ramundo did not go to Tampa and stay with that guy.
Oh yeah. Why? I presented it to my wife. The old me would have gone instantly, but she just said we
didn't know him that well and going and hanging out with somebody for a whole weekend. I mean, it's kind of
dangerous. That well. You mean, at all? At all. Yeah. I mean, back in the day, I would just randomly go stay at Airbnb
sometimes if it was like a group Airbnb people I'd never even met before.
But this wasn't an Airbnb.
It was a guy's house and he's like come stay with me and my family.
Yeah, she vetoed it.
He's a safe dude probably, but again, never met him.
Probably.
Yeah, maybe I get to know him over the next year.
We strengthen our friendship.
Then we go down to the Tampa area and stay at his mansion.
But then what if we're not down there?
You just go on to spend a weekend down there?
I've heard there's tons of stuff to do.
I got other friends there too.
There's tons of stuff to do.
It's Florida.
It's warm.
There's the beach.
We were out.
We had dinner.
Friday night, right? What's the Friday night? Dinner. A couple of our friends got engaged.
So took them to dinner, me, Caitlin, Eddie, so went to dinner. And then Eddie's like, hey, Chris from Locash. It's like two restaurants down.
Because he lives down there. So I was tired. But you guys went and saw Chris. Yeah, I went out to drink with him, just caught up. You know, hang out with Chris in his city. Because he's always here. That's the only time we see him. So I was like, I'm not going to miss an opportunity to hang out with you in Tampa, dude. So we hung out. We talked a little bit. And then I went home.
What are you doing now?
Should I claim the bonus they're offering me?
They said, welcome to the team.
Oh, yeah, for sure, because you bet like $5.
And you get $200.
If you get one right, yeah.
$200.
Claim bonus.
You get $200 and free bets.
Mm-hmm.
Okay.
You did bones, so you get the bonus.
Yep.
Oh, that's the perk.
Cool.
Okay.
I don't know.
So, is still working on it?
Okay.
This is not a commercial, by the way.
She was literally trying to do this whenever we were going on with the post show.
Yeah, I got to get it ready for the,
The basketball.
The basketball.
Tournament.
Eddie, you saw Ernest, do you think, driving down the road?
Oh, yeah.
Yeah.
I mean, I don't know Ernest.
Like, I know the name Ernest.
There's a poster here on Music Row on the way into work, and I see him on the poster,
and I'm like, okay, I think I know what he looks like.
But then I was at a red light, and this dude, two guys, it might have been Ernest and
Hardy.
I don't know.
They look like cartoon characters because they're just, they look different.
And they were in a big Cadillac, like an old Cadillac.
Like an old Cadillac, aviator sunglasses, I mean, they look straight out in 1970, and they're jamming.
I mean, the music was rattling my, like, license plate.
That's how loud they were jamming.
I look over.
I'm like, I think that's Ernest because I've seen him on that poster, and that looks like him.
Ernest is on the Bobbycast this week.
I did a whole hour with him.
Okay.
Great.
He's great.
And so he drove his wild car into my house.
And so, do we have a clip of this?
Yeah, here's Ernest talking about it.
1975.
Cadillate Coop deville.
It does look cool.
but it can be comfortable.
They didn't create comfortability back then.
It is so comfortable.
It feels like you're sitting in your grandmother's living room couch in that car.
You have a more comfortable car, though?
I do have a F-150.
Nice.
See, now it's all happening.
Yeah.
I like that.
It's cool, but it ain't comfortable.
It's like the Bronco we have, the 72 Bronco.
Cool would not come.
Awesome, but you're like,
so, um, yes.
Okay, so that was him.
So it's funny because when I turn, I'm like, he looks like an aroncoe,
artist. I mean, I was like, it could be Chris Stapleton maybe, because they kind of have the same
look. But no, that's funny. That's confirmed now. That was Ernest. I talked about with Ernest on the
Bobbycast on Friday. He wrote Mason Ramsey, Yodel Boy's verse for the Old Town Road remix.
Oh, yeah. And so here you go. Here is me talking about it. Here's a hook first of Yodel Boy.
We have a club if I'm talking about that. Here you go.
Jake Owen and I did a verse for fun before this opportunity came.
I wrote a whole new verse for Mason.
And then we FaceTime Lil Nas X and he was like,
I wanted to sound more like that verse you all did with Jake Owen.
So we pulled more from that to hop up in the raise or got a thousand acres.
That was me in Jake's version.
I made zero on that.
Wait, how if you're right?
There were so many people involved in that track, bro, before I even came to my plate.
I just went with my name on the credit.
So he got paid nothing.
And even that version streamed millions.
Wow.
Have I, did Jake do that version here or something?
Okay.
No, we played it.
Okay.
Oh, yeah, he recorded one.
Oh, hi.
And then Mason Ramsey recorded it.
And they had written, it's the whole thing.
Got it.
Listen to the Bobbycast, hear it there.
Influencers are busted for the stay overnight in Target Challenge.
They've been arrested and charged with third-degree criminal trespassing and conspiracy
and have been banned from all Pennsylvania Target stores.
Yeah, that sounds dumb.
So remember when they were doing that at IKEA?
Yes, trying to spend the night in IKEA?
Apparently there's a new social media challenge involving getting locked into a store and staying overnight.
A couple of Pennsylvania influences were arrested after being discovered recording for their YouTube channel.
After being locked in an extant target store.
While inside, nothing was stolen or missing.
Johnson, LaRose and Charlotte Fisher, known as Saucy and Honey, left the store through an emergency exit around 3 in the morning,
but they came back five hours later to finish the video.
They didn't steal anything, but they were still caught, arrested, and charged.
And they said they have no regrets.
just living life and having fun.
Yeah. From Fox 29.
You guys need to get like a job at Sonic or something.
Yeah, do something with your life.
I feel like they're 16.
I don't know how old they are.
Amy, what are you doing?
Yeah, I'm good.
I'm entering, I'm, what does it say?
Selecting my amount.
Did you put your card in there?
I guess once I select that, I do, it says add payment details.
So I can't use the card I just got hacked by, I don't know.
By the way, it's not this hard to do this.
No, but I'm listening to the show.
I'm doing other things.
But he gave you time off to focus on that.
Okay, I know, but I need to know from you.
What should I start off with?
The options are $25,000, $100.
$100,000.
Okay.
$10K.
All right.
She does it.
I'm in.
No, this is like super easy.
The problem is I had created an account several months ago and then just forgot all my log-in info.
So that's on me.
Amy, what kind of better are you going to be?
Are you going to be like big?
Whatever Bobby tells me.
No way.
That's what I'm, that's my, it's kind of better I am.
I'm going to the school of Bobby.
Okay.
The Batman passed $400 million worldwide at the box office.
Mike, you loved it?
Yes, I thought it was amazing.
It's three hours.
Almost, yeah, right under three.
I would like to see it, but I can't see me dragging me to a movie theater to watch it for three hours.
Whenever it's available to stream, I will watch it probably in two.
Probably be pretty soon.
Probably like another month.
and a half. Isn't it crazy? That's how quick it is, even the biggest one. We used to wait
forever. We used to wait six months. Yeah. It would come out. We wait forever for them to come out.
Anyone else seen the Batman yet? No. No?
I do get excited about new superhero movies, though, for the most part. Morgan watched a lot
of stuff. Morgan, why did you watch so much stuff this weekend? I mean, I was trying not to
drive anywhere because I spent like $75 fill up my Jeep, so I was like, I'm not going to go anywhere
this weekend. I'm just going to stay at home. Yeah, two things. One,
the gas price are so high, and the two shit's a Jeep that burns gas like crazy.
So what did you watch?
Okay, well, I watched Turning Red, which is on Disney Plus.
It's an animated movie.
It's from Pixar, and it's like a coming-of-age movie, and I thought it was really good.
I thought kids would really like it.
I know there was some, like, controversial opinions on it, but I gave it four out of five red pandas.
I haven't seen even the opinions on it.
What's controversial about it?
Just that, like, some people don't like.
that the daughter in the film would, like, go against her mother and was like, it was showing a
girl that was rebelling against a very perfect household, and she was just trying to find her
place in the world. And that was controversial. Yeah, it was. Very controversial. Okay. You saw that.
What else? I also watched Peacemaker, which is the John Cena DC TV show series on HBO Max,
and super, like, there were moments that I had to look away, and I couldn't watch. I had to watch, like,
through my eyes, but I laughed out loud a lot. I really liked John Sina as an actor and as peacemaker.
I watched the first episode and I really liked the first episode, but my wife does not want to
watch that show. So I watch it. I'm trying to find spots to watch it whenever she, it's just my show.
But I really thought it was funny. First episode, that was super funny. Yeah, and it gets even
funnier, but it does. There's definitely moments where I could have gone without seeing that my whole life.
Well, I only watched it because Mike was like, it's really good. And I, for the most part, trust him.
The only time that he led me wrong was that Shia LaBuff,
the story about Shia LaBuff's life.
What was that, Mike?
What was it?
Honeyboy.
Sucked.
Other than that, he's like 98% right.
But he also has a crush on Shia LaBuff, I think, right?
Yeah, he does.
Weird.
Amy, how's it going?
Because I've got a lot of stuff talked to you about, but you're not.
Okay.
I just have to focus.
That looks like the same page.
I know, because I entered it, and I probably, my, I mix numbers up, so it's a card failure.
That's on me.
That's on me.
My goodness.
I just, I'm trying to.
Take your headphones out.
No.
No.
No, because I also had tips on how to save gas mileage.
Okay, we're not there.
You need to do what you're doing.
I know.
Okay, she's pulling her headphones out.
Why, you're going to cry?
No, I'm going to enter my card.
Okay, carry on.
Sleep expert explains how long a perfect nap should be.
And here, Ray, you have a clip.
If you don't mind playing that, go ahead.
That's why when you nap, you should actually nap either a very short nap, 20 or 30 minutes,
or sending an alarm for a 90-minute nap.
A 90-minute nap is enough time for you to go through an entire sleep cycle.
Not long enough for you to build a lot of sleep inertia,
but enough time for you to actually get some of the benefits of sleeping.
Yeah, the more I read about naps, that sleep cycle is so important.
Either you do it really short so you don't affect it at all,
or you have to hit somewhere in that cycle.
Otherwise, if you do like 45 minutes,
you just wake up in the middle and you're not good on short or long
and you're just fuzzy.
But doesn't your body get used to the nap,
so now you can have to nap every day?
Like that's how, if I take a nap one day, then the next day is like, oh, I need my nap.
My body just feels like, oh, it's 3 o'clock nap again.
And I can't do that like every day of the week.
You know what I mean?
Possibly.
I think lunchbox naps every day.
Yep, pretty much every day.
I mean, it doesn't matter if I can get 20 minutes in.
If I can get two hours in, I'd just close my eyes.
And when I wake up, I wake up.
You can sleep for two hours?
Oh, easily.
Really?
It's awesome.
Amy.
Oh, okay.
I got it.
I figured it.
I entered it correctly, but I have some thing on my cards policy.
for money wagering.
You do?
I guess that's to probably protect people.
You know, but I'm cool with it.
But Draft Kings was telling me all along.
We recommend online banking,
so now I'm just going to do that.
This is so much easier.
They made it easy.
I made it hard.
Okay, so are you back to the beginning?
No, I'm not back to the beginning.
I'm back to the finding my bank.
Got it.
Carry on.
Okay.
I don't even know.
I took my headphones out,
so now I don't even know the nap thing.
Don't worry about it.
We were at the basketball game
and we saw John Daly.
who's a big Arkansas guy,
lives in Arkansas.
We saw him sitting up in one of the boxes
and Eddie went up and talked to him,
but I think this is pretty cool.
Eddie wrote a song with John Daly,
and it's on John Daly's album.
Yeah, it's out now.
Isn't that crazy?
That's pretty awesome.
We actually have a clip,
and then I want to hear about
that songwriting experience.
Here is John Daly's song called
Why'd she ever love me?
Why'd she ever love me?
Mm-hmm.
whiskey.
I treat it so bad
how the hell
she ever forget
just because I didn't show it
doesn't mean I didn't care
kept it all inside
when I should have been there
to the tears she cried
yes the lies above me
why she ever love me
pretty good
Thanks man
Pretty good
So how did you end up writing with John Daly?
A buddy of mine had, he was producing his new record.
I guess John Daly's had a record before.
It's kind of like.
They do music for a long time.
Yeah, he plays golf, but he also loves country music.
And when he has time, he wants to record.
And what I heard is when he'd go to tournaments, he would like sell little meet and greets where you can spend a few minutes with John Daly, take a picture, and then you get a free album.
So that was kind of the perk too.
Well, my buddy calls me and says, hey, man, I'm writing with John Daley today.
And he said, do you want to come with me?
I said, yeah, of course.
So we drive to a golf course and his bus is right there in the parking lot of the golf course.
And he's in there.
And we go in there.
He's just him.
He's sitting there.
And we talk for a little bit.
And then he says, hey, man, I want to write a song about just kind of like, you know,
I've been married a few times.
So I kind of want to write about the experiences of like maybe opportunities that have been lost because of how bad I acted when I was younger or whatever.
I'm like, that's great.
We can do it.
Let's go.
So we wrote it about, I don't know, I'd say about an hour and a half.
And then he's like, you want a beer?
Let's go to the clubhouse.
And we go to the clubhouse and we got chicken wings, drank a beer, and then that was it.
But it was cool.
I mean, it was like a four-hour experience hanging out with John Daly.
And I mean, this is a dude I've watched on TV my whole life.
And now you got a song on his record.
Now I have a song on his record.
So it's pretty cool.
Did he remember when you saw him that you were the guy that wrote the song with him?
So it's like I had to remind him.
I guess in that scenario, a lot of people are coming up to him.
But I said, hey, man, it's me, Eddie.
You know?
Why did you ever love me?
He goes, oh, yes, of course.
Like, dude, and he pulls out his phone.
He's like, look, the record's out.
And he started going through the song listening and all that.
I'm like, I know.
He's like, I'm ready for a new one.
Let's write another one.
It's like, okay, when you're back in Nashville, let me know.
That's pretty cool.
Hey, maybe I'll write a song on every album he has coming on.
So I don't know.
Pretty cool.
Well, you guys can't support Eddie.
Do you make money from that?
How do you make money?
Yeah, I mean, as a writer, I mean, it's not a lot of money.
The bigger the song is.
Gotcha.
More streams it gets.
You don't get paid just for writing it.
Okay, so let's say he sells a CD at his tournament.
Does Eddie get money for that?
Yeah.
No, it depends how.
I mean, if he's just selling out of the back of his trunk, no, Eddie's not going to get any money for it.
Gotcha.
Wait, are you serious?
Yeah.
We got a yeah and a no.
I can't negotiate that.
What about when we all write cereal?
Will we make money?
Excuse me?
We have a song you to write with the raging idiots.
The song she has an idea about it called cereal.
Yeah.
I forgot about that, yes.
I haven't.
It's on my heart.
Are we going to make money?
No, probably not, unless we put it up to stream.
And then it does really well.
We should do, like, Walker Hayes and drop a serial name and then get them to pick it up.
Walker Hayes and Applebee's.
Like Cinnamon Tooth Crunch picks it up.
We can write that, though.
I know you have an idea.
We've dabbled with cereal as a comedic element.
Oh, really?
But I think we should commit to it.
Just commit.
And just, I mean.
Do you have a melody, Amy?
Not yet.
Not yet.
Do you have an idea, though, of why cereal's funny?
Like, what the idea is?
People connect with cereal.
It's a thing.
It's a vibe.
It's a whole thing.
Like, seriously, like, cereal for dinner.
It's like...
I mean, that could be...
Serial's a comfort.
Like, it's a cereal and a buck.
Like, it hits different...
Like, I have different ideas that I'm just going to throw out.
It's like a blank board, and some stuff might stick.
Some stuff might not.
Mm-hmm.
But...
You could do...
With the...
Yes, you could actually call it cereal for dinner,
but you could do a whole course
about all the breakfast foods you're eating at dinner.
It'd make that funny, you know?
Okay.
We're eating, scramble day.
Throw it up on the board.
Okay.
Throw it up on the board.
I really...
I want cereal be the main star, but I see where you're going.
No, I'm just...
I don't have thrown it on the board.
Okay. See what sticks.
If we get into a writing session,
a comedy writing session with Amy.
What?
And she starts to tell us, no.
We've...
Back in the day.
Way back in the day, we've done parodies before.
Parodies.
I know that's very different.
Music and melody already written.
Very different, but that's baby steps.
That's where I've dabbled before, and I'm entertaining the idea of coming into your world.
Thank you for having me.
You're welcome.
Come on in.
But I mean.
Water's warm.
I know.
I'm not saying I'm an expert.
I'll learn from you.
I just have an idea.
We should do it in the next couple weeks while we're motivated.
Okay, well, it's fresh.
Okay.
I'm going to have cereal for dinner tonight.
And cereal's a vibe?
In SPO.
Serial.
in a coffee mug
cereal for dinner
is a vibe.
Like, I don't know.
There's different things.
Oh boy, you guys got a lot of work to do.
No, this is how it starts.
Put it on the board.
Start building a little melody,
a couple rhyme words, find the jokes.
That's a big part of it too
because you can write some serious
but you've got to end stuff with jokes
and you're like, well, that rhymes and sounds good
but it doesn't make it's not funny.
Yeah.
We'll get there.
I tell jokes every day.
Yeah, no problem.
Cheryl is releasing a companion album
to her documentary.
I saw she had a documentary.
I love Cheryl Crow.
Can't get enough Cheryl Crow.
So a few weeks ago out at dinner at True Food.
And she was just chilling and we talked for a little bit.
And I was like, dang, that's Sheryl Crow.
So, yeah, I'm big Sheryl Crow fan.
Top three songs from Cheryl Crow.
At number three, hit it.
If it makes you happy.
It makes you happy.
It can't be that bad.
It can't be that bad.
That's right.
At number two, Cheryl Crow all time.
And I can't cry.
anymore
Make me nice if you can take a night to anywhere
I'm big fan though
That's probably not
That's not a single
Not enough a single for you guys for me
You know when you're a big fan
You go deep album
You know them all
I can't cry anymore
And number one
Obviously this one right here
Are you strong enough to be my man
What would you have put on the ready
Santa Monica Boulevard
All I want to do
Is have some fun
Love it.
Yeah, that's probably number four, but I needed to put a track.
I get it.
Deep cut in there.
I mean, you know all of them.
Amy?
Picture to burn.
That's right.
Taylor Swift.
No, not picture to picture.
Just picture.
Sorry, Kid Rock and Cheryl Crow.
I don't know why I said burn.
Tim McGraw.
But if you're the feature on there on his song, I don't feel like it's.
I don't care.
That's his song.
That's his song.
That's his song.
I had to change my way.
Okay.
Well, I mean, y'all took, I was going to say Santa Monica Boulevard.
That's what it's called.
Sanamanica Boulevard.
It's not a call.
Okay.
Did you finish your thing?
Yeah.
This is where it pays off being an adult.
Hold on.
I am becoming...
We did all of this and you still haven't...
No, I'm good.
I'm waiting since I'm going to do the easy bank login.
They make it super easy.
However, that would mean I have to know the login info for my bank.
Okay, we'll talk about tomorrow.
So I had a text to get that because I am growing into being an adult.
You were in Austin over the weekend.
Did you see your psychic cousin?
Yeah, I stayed with her all weekend.
You did.
She was in from Belize or whatever she was?
She moved.
Like last weekend, she moved from Belize back to Austin.
Her mom is, my aunt Lisa is not doing well.
We're in the, she's had cancer for a while and we're, she's entering hospice phase.
Yeah, it's really difficult.
But hospice is, you know, if you've been through it, you know, it could, when I was learning about it with my mom, you know, she was more on the weak side of things, like one week.
Like it can last a day, seven days, or it can last seven months.
or a year. So we're hopeful. We're thankful for time and what we've had. And so I pivoted last minute and flew to Austin for that because, you know, I don't want to, I didn't want to miss that opportunity. And so my cousin moved back to, like, move her mom in with her because she needs more round the clock.
So she's a psychic. Care. And you know me. I'm not a big believer in psychics. I've had a couple good experience with your cousin. But generally.
Yeah, she's kind of nailed some stuff. I just don't, but.
I can't prove that it's not true.
I know.
I can't because it's impossible to prove it's not.
Mm-hmm.
But for me, not a big believer in it.
So when you're sitting around with someone who's a psychic or a medium, what do you talk about?
I mean, we talk about all kinds of things.
She's very into, well, I mean, my mom was with us this weekend, so that was cool.
She told you that.
Well, yeah, she was like, your mom's here.
Like things that got orchestrated.
She was like, oh, that's Judy.
She's looking out for us.
and your dad's up there.
You know, she said she's been able to,
we talked more about her gift
and that the first time she experienced it
was as a child when her grandma died
and like came to her.
Like she was outside playing
and her grandma came to her dead.
And then she went on inside to talk to her parents
and her parents just found out that the grandma died
and said, I mean, I need you to sit down.
We have something to tell you.
Grandma died.
She goes, oh, I know, I just talked to her.
Oof, wild.
And crazy.
And so she knew she had a gift.
But she didn't know what to do with it.
So then she suppressed it for a long time
and ended up having like a pretty wild 20s
and ended up getting sober and through like the 12 steps
and rehab and working on herself and inner healing,
the gift started showing up and she tapped into it more.
And when you hear talk like she doesn't,
she's like I'm not, you know,
I don't have a crystal ball and I'm not like big hoop earrings
and this hoot.
She goes like, but this is this, that's part of my gift.
is like I'm a normal person, but I'm not.
Like, I've been given this, and I want to help people.
I want to use it for good and light and bring the best out in people.
And when she talks, like, she's one of the most intelligent people that I know.
So it doesn't, when you're talking to her, you're like, this sounds legit because she's so freaking smart.
Do you believe in it more after spending time with her in person?
Yes.
You do?
Yes.
I'm not judging you.
I know, me neither.
And even my aunt was kind of like, I know.
Amy, when I first, I had to open up to her, she's like, but it's crazy.
She goes, my aunt said too many things have gone the way Amanda says for her to not connect with it.
Like, she's like, I can't deny it.
And she's like, so we spent a lot of time talking about a lot of things.
And, you know, she's a Christian and has grown up that way.
Like her undergrad from Swanee is in religion.
And then she's got a.
Swanee, Oklahoma?
She's what?
Tennessee.
Oh, Tennessee.
That's why I know it.
And then she went to grad school in Boston for health.
Like she's very all about...
She's smart and educated.
Yes.
She's like the value of my brain.
Like we were talking about it yesterday.
She went to private school all growing up.
And just the type of education that her parents put into her,
she's like, I know all that I have and inside my brain.
And she's like, the things I'm able to tap into, the consciousness or whatever,
that I'm able to tap into the dimensions I can go to, my brain has the capacity to do that.
I think what she's saying, too, is that we all have the capacity, but she's...
But we can't figure out to use parts of our brain.
And she can.
She's like, I can.
She goes, I know exactly how to do it.
And that's my gift.
And she helps, she's called in and obviously done this stuff on the show, but she's like,
my main clients or she works with Fortune 500 companies.
She's done some that I can't, like she's got NDAs.
but there's a lot of high-up official type people
that she works with on a regular basis
for them to tap into potential
and also know what's going on in the dimensions.
How she feel about aliens?
They are real.
Exactly.
We talked about that this weekend.
But I don't think they have to be how we've imagined them.
No, they are like balls of light.
They are summer blue.
She said she's seen them.
My point has always been,
we say, well, no way, little green,
but we're the ones who created little green men.
Why does something that's not us have to be something that we've created?
And so...
You should talk to her about this.
We can't...
Dogs can see more colors than us, as an example.
They're cones and their eyes.
Animals have ears that can hear different sounds at different pitches than we can.
So why would...
Why do we go, well, can't see it.
Can't be real.
Well, dogs can see stuff we can't see.
Yeah.
There could be a...
We'll just say the word alien, just for the sake of the December.
There could be an alien that's the color that we can't see right in front of us.
But because our cones don't allow it, we can see it if it was there.
Like right here.
And it doesn't even have to be something we can feel.
It doesn't have to be made of organic.
Don't get frustrated.
We're just trying to learn.
I know.
There's nothing to learn.
There was a video that popped up, I don't know, on TikTok or something, of a microscopic.
Could be that.
They could be so small.
We can't see them.
I mean, dude, it was crazy.
They put a microscope on something, and it looked like a creature, like a sci-fi creature,
and it was like something that lived in a hair.
Because we watch the Avengers, and these things are massive.
Planet-sized spaceships were like, well, that's what they'd be like.
They'd be huge to be able to see them with their own eyes, flying saucer.
No, they might be so microscopic that they can travel anywhere and everywhere in us,
and they can go on a butthole.
Oh, wow.
Maybe that's why it hurts.
I still think constipation, because I'm having issues,
but Kayla made me eat prunes this weekend
You don't like prunes?
Time march is on.
I know my stomach
lives
All my life since
Eight years old I can remember
I've always had
An inability to digest food
And I just felt like that was the way my life
It's supposed to be forever
And I just it is what it is
I live it
And she's like
That doesn't have to be that way
Let's find some new things
Let's try things
So we've tried different foods
almonds helps me a lot
But sometimes I go place
I'm like
Where are my almonds
Oh my God I'm all my mom
almonds. It's like people when they had, don't forget their medicine.
I'm like, we're my almonds. And she was like,
why don't we try prune? So she ordered some prunes and we ate them and they
weren't very good, but I don't know if they worked or not
because they only had a few of them and complained with every single one of them.
I was like, but.
Like a kid. Yes, yes.
My point is, the aliens could be going on my butt
and constipating me. So she
believes aliens, or
things that aren't us.
Oh yeah, and she was like, and every president
knows about the aliens.
Like everyone's read in,
they visited her,
One time in particular in Costa Rica and her half-sister was with her
and can testify to the fact that she saw it all happen and she kind of thought,
because they woke her up in her sleep and she sat up and went and looked at the window
and told her half-sister and her husband was like, whatever, I'm going back to bed.
But then the light got so bright, the sister woke up.
And anyway.
It wasn't a car?
No.
Flashlight?
No, I mean, it was a whole.
Time travel?
Yes.
She said yes to that too?
Well, in a way that there's different dimensions happening.
Time is happening all the time.
Even some of the, she doesn't call them aliens,
but the things coming back that you see are from different times.
So it's not necessarily from another planet or universe or whatever,
but it's just different.
It's us at different times.
Were you all drinking when you were talking about this?
She's sober.
She's totally sober.
She has been sober.
He was joking.
He was joking.
Well, I know, but it's a valid question, and I'm being clear that she's been sober for nine years.
Because my brother has seen three aliens, like something moving in space in the middle of the night,
but every story starts with, yeah, I was just drinking a couple beers.
I know.
I had to launch her out in the backyard.
Like, that's a thing.
She's not.
So who knows?
I don't know.
The thing about time is, we all understand time linear.
Linear.
That's it.
She'll break that down for you, how it's.
I don't need a broken down for me.
I know, but she can put it in layman's term.
for these guys. I was like, I don't even understand what you're saying linear.
My son's trying to get into a drive king.
He's so bored. He's set up a drag king's a guy.
I mean, speaking of time, we've been going on this for way too much time.
Actually, has time even gone by at all?
Oh, God. Stop. Stop. I mean, people are, I mean, no, they can't listen. No, they're listening.
Did you want, is the Adam Project? It's the Ryan Reynolds movie?
Yeah, so we watched that together, and that's what started our time travel conversation.
Do you like it? I thought it was really good.
Morgan, you like it? Do you watch it?
Yeah, I watched that. It was really good.
Everybody is...
So cute.
You watch that too?
Sweet.
Yeah.
Like entertaining, thought provoking.
I've watched it too.
In the future, but I've watched it.
Oh, geez.
Right, right, right, right.
Right.
Because you're going to watch it.
Because what I think is, it's all already happened.
I'm just walking down the path now.
But you, I mean, you of all people, you know what you're not going to do, though.
Like, you may not drink a drop of alcohol.
so that you can control that
so you can safely say
I will for the rest of my life not drink alcohol
I don't understand your point
you can control that
like this movie you're gonna watch it
just to prove that you're right
or you can just say no I will never watch this
and the day you die you never watched it
and then you've already made up your mind
makes sense
no idea what's going on
anyway you're saying that you've already watched it
but you can not
it's in the future that I've already watched it
but you cannot by not watching it
But I've already watched it.
I've already watched it.
That means you made up your mind that you're going to watch it.
No, no.
Even if I didn't, I know that I've already watched it in the future.
Oh, gosh.
You should, you know.
I do not understand what either one of you guys are saying.
Like, either one of you.
Well, that's why you should, not, I'm not even saying like on air,
but you should definitely, I feel like you and Amanda would have a fascinating conversation about this.
No, that would be, oh.
Trust me.
Okay, we'll move off of that.
What's crazy, though, is that she gets hired by these corporations.
These CEOs are just like, tell me.
In the government.
Tell me the future of oil.
Like, that's crazy.
It's not like that.
I don't know.
She's not Miss Cleo.
Yeah, does she make millions of dollars in the stock market?
That's not.
They're not, they don't understand.
What does the CEO want from her then?
Yeah.
She would have to explain to you her gifts and what she does.
If she's being hired by a big company CEO, they want to know the future of the industry.
I don't think they're saying, listen.
She said before when she's tapped into box.
She's tapping into his higher self, which is called the they.
And when she is talking to them, she's able to learn, see them.
She told me I've already seen the Ryan Reynolds movie.
Did she?
No, but she did in the future when I ask her.
Yeah.
She said she also.
So she can read thoughts.
And like we were at dinner with.
So she knew what you were going to order for dinner?
mom of, we were at dinner and my friend Jango was like, because we were just talking about it.
That's what we got curious. Like, what do you? When did this gift start in different things?
And Jango was like, oh, she was like, think good things, think good things, think good things.
Because he was so nervous that she was going to be hearing what he was saying.
But she's like, no, no, no, I'm super respectful. Like she goes, I can turn. Like I try to respect people in their privacy.
But she said there's been times where she's been in the grocery store line and like someone, a stranger that she's next to, all these things are coming to her.
and she's like, and then their dead relatives are coming to her.
And they're like wanting her to say something.
She's like, if I tap them on the shoulder,
they're going to think I'm crazy.
But she's done it.
And she tapped them on the shoulder,
and she's end up telling them something that was like very important
and that they were like, I need this, thank you so much.
This is crazy.
It does seem crazy.
Can we get her a TV show where she just watched it in a grocery store?
I mean, I would watch that TV show where she walked into grocery stores
in public places.
That would be good.
And she doesn't want to run to exploit.
was like, boom.
It does seem crazy to us.
And it's tough.
It's hard for me to believe, right?
Because I've never actually seen that it can be true.
But what if we're all laughing, and maybe not just her, but what if we are laughing, but
there are people that have abilities to do things that just because we don't understand them
doesn't mean they can't be done.
I agree.
She says there's a whole community of people just like her and we don't get it.
If she doesn't care if people don't get it, she says it doesn't matter.
I don't care.
She goes, I can look at my track record.
What hurts them, though, are people that are.
are scamming people by doing it.
You know?
Yeah, she's not doing like cards.
Not sure even what she, not even talking about her.
But for us to sit here and go, well, if we can only do this,
that means nobody else can do anything greater than what we're doing.
That is very short-sighted.
I agree.
Now, it's hard for me to believe that she can be in a grocery store and read people's minds.
That is tough because I have never met anybody who can't, have never seen it done.
It's tough.
it is, but it's hypocritical
and me to go, that's absolutely not true
because I can't tell if it's true or not.
And I don't ever want to be the person that says,
well, since it's never been done, it'll never be done.
You helped me be that way.
You were part of that narrative in me
of like expanding my thinking.
And I used to be very narrow-minded
and not like also a little
judge, I thought there was just this way and then from that came judgment and different things.
And I've expanded since then. And, you know, I just think that there's, well, why, yeah, why shut it down?
And I listen to her talk and I'm like, well, okay, maybe she does have this gift. And I mean,
when she brings, like, certain religion things into it, too, it's really fascinating. But she speaks
of all religions, even though she's a Christian, she goes, that's my way. But then, so then we got
in this whole conversation about heaven and all the things and the different religions. And it's just
It's fascinating what she knows, all about history and time.
Well, we can move from this.
Yeah.
The coin I hope you take from this bank is that just because you can't do it and you can't see it doesn't mean it's not being done.
All right.
Right. Miracles are happening all the time.
Absolutely.
So, but I will also say it's hard for me to believe that, holy.
But I have to go, because I haven't seen her done, it doesn't mean it can't be true.
and there are a lot of bad people out there
using that same situation
to con people out of money.
So that also makes you go,
what's happening in here?
I don't think that's happening
with Amy's cousin,
but I mean,
there are a lot of things
that affect how the world views
people with gifts, period.
But yes,
the grocery store thing
would be tough for me.
It's tough for her too.
I get it.
Good TV show, though.
Great TV show.
Hey, Amy, I was going to ask you about this.
You were talking with a client,
we were talking about that earlier,
and they were thinking about
going with a younger audience. What is this story? Well, it was a potential client. So I don't know if it's
going to, I don't think it's going to work out. It was like a meet and greet thing. And they,
I don't think they realized how they were saying it. But I mean, I heard it right away. I was like,
okay, noted that they said, you know, in the beginning we were thinking about trying to reach a
younger audience, but we just realized that's not our demographic. So we've decided to go with, or we're
thinking about going with you.
to reach the older audience.
I was like, okay, then, here we are.
That's fine.
It's fine.
I used to be the young audience.
I don't care.
I'm old, and I'm loving it.
Older, wiser.
Wiser.
Older.
Keep doing it.
I turned 41 this week.
I'm fine with it.
But I just thought it was an interesting thing to say to someone in a meeting.
Of like, we were,
we're thinking about going with you now because we're kind of forgetting about the younger audience.
Cool.
I can tell her a little bit.
Mm-hmm.
Still hurts.
It hurts. It hurts saying it.
No, it's cool.
It's fine.
I get it.
We all get older, Amy.
I know.
And I'm embracing where I am.
And I'm, I don't, again, I don't think they're going to even use me.
Maybe I'm not.
I think she's having a breakdown right now, guys.
I think we're listening to a breakdown.
It's fine.
It's fine.
It's fine.
It's fine.
Okay.
