Sunday is a company trying to make that part easier.
They start with a soil test and climate data to build a yard plan tailor to where you live,

No guesswork, no dragging bags of fertilizer.
And instead of harsh chemicals, Sunday uses simple nutrient dense ingredients like seaweed, molasses, and iron.
Everything hooks up to a hose, which honestly sounds like my speed.
If your yard feels more stressful than satisfying, Sunday's approach makes a lot of sense.

Time for the Bobby Bones post show.
Here's your host, Bobby Bones.
Thank you.
I'm wearing a sherbert shirt today.
Those are wondering.
Is that what the color is?
Sherbert is what I see it look like.
It makes me want it.
It does look like Sherbert.
Makes me want some Sherbert.
Or like one of those push-ups.
Push-up ice creams.
I'm in a T-shirt.
It looks like a push-up.
Although it was a little chilly this morning.
I left the house.
It was like in the 50s.
It's been like that.
Yeah.
Where you walk out and you're like, oh, it's not that cold.
And then you're like, a little cold in the thought.
Was here all weekend.
Didn't have to travel.
which is great. So, you know, I got back in town, I think Thursday or Friday, I'm not sure.
And now that I have two weeks after my second vaccination, I'm just like, I'm going down, literally and figuratively.
And so when I talk about this later, we did a spin class. And Caitlin's like, hey, do you want to go with me on Saturday morning?
Have a friend who teaches a class once a week. Let's go. I was a little nervous about going into a room, only because I was, I haven't done it a long time.
but I talked to myself, looked at myself in the mirror and said, hey, you're vaccinated.
Go live your life, bruh.
And so, you know, you wear the mask to the class, and you take it off before you get on the bike,
and then you ride.
And the weird thing about these spin classes is that, and I have a Peloton, fancy, all right?
Fonci, dolly.
Fons.
Yeah.
But I didn't have shoes for this class.
And the instructor was like, hey, just bring your Peloton shoes.
But I was embarrassed to bring my Peloton shoes into the spin class because Peloton's like to
competitor and they all probably look down on me.
Are those shoes like bike shoes?
Like they stick to the pedal?
Yeah, they clip in.
Yeah, so I put them under my t-shirt when I walked in.
And Caitlin's like, don't be embarrassed.
Who cares?
Just put your shoes on dark in there anyway.
Once it got dark, I wasn't as embarrassed.
But I did the class, sweat are pretty good.
Here's what I don't like about those classes.
There's not a clock on the wall.
I need to know what time it is.
This is not Las Vegas.
Yeah.
They don't want you thinking about the time.
I'm not gambling money.
Let me know what time it is.
put something on the wall
and it's all dark
and so unless you have a light up watch
you can't even see you to watch
I need to know what time it is
all the time
I live my life by time
this show my workouts
I didn't know how much
because I need to know
if it's the last 15 minutes
do I how much do I have left in me
to give
and I can time out to end that workout
exhausted
otherwise if I don't know what time it is
I don't know where to put it
you and I approach spin glasses
very differently
they're not necessarily my favorite
it. And I also have a friend
that teaches, I think it's probably the same one.
And I have told her I will
come to a class, but like, I'm going to be
faking-n-eth-old. Like, if she tells me
to turn up the resistance, I'm going to be like,
do-to-do-do to do, and just like act like I'm turning
it up. I'm just going to be there to just
cruise. Same person, probably.
Yeah, just cruise.
Teaching the class.
But you want to, like, kill yourself. I don't
cruise. I want to walk out of that class
not wasted an hour. It's not wasted.
No, no. It's very motivational.
No, for me, I don't want to wait. I don't want to, if I could
have gone harder, I need to have gone harder.
Oh.
I'm talking about me.
Okay.
I don't want to walk out going, dang, and I wasted a lot of that time not going as hard as I should have.
Yeah.
So I need a clock.
And I told Caitlin, she was like, just count the songs.
And I'm like, they're all like this.
What do you count the songs?
I can't, they're all the same.
Oh, you don't know when the song transitions.
Well, some of them are seven minutes.
Some of them are two.
Some of them are the same.
But I did make the joke on the way over there.
Because I used to do, in Austin, I used to go down.
and walked from my place in Austin
down to Soul Cycle.
I thought Soul Cycle was great, a lot of fun.
And they turned the lights down, there's music.
But at the end of some of those Soul Cycle classes,
they would play this one mix,
and it would be Colplay, Fix You, Music,
underneath Destiny's Child, or Beyonce.
I guess Beyonce.
It's like, you know,
and then Beyonce, Deschal's like,
say my name,
I don't know what song was.
But I make the joke to Kailen,
I'm like, if they don't end this with
Coldplay underneath Beyonce, I'm out of this crap.
And that's the song they played at the very end.
At this one too?
It's a cold play under Beyonce.
Yeah.
And so, because it does all the Beyonce stuff
and then right at that part where it goes,
lights will guide you.
And the Cole plays back on,
and I'm like, yeah!
I'm feeling it.
And I go on to those classes like this.
Okay, I'm going to exercise.
I'm not getting into the hooping and the hollering.
I'm not doing girl power.
You know, I know there's a whole vibe
We're all like rooting.
But I'm just going to come here to work.
First couple songs go, I'm just working.
Halfway through, I'm like, I'm feeling pretty good.
I feel pretty inspired here.
By end of it, I'm like,
that's what I'm talking about now!
Oh, yeah!
So by the end of it, I know walk out
and it feels like a religious experience.
It was good.
We did that.
And then went to lunch.
Still in sweaty clothes.
Went to like a brunch at True Food in sweaty clothes.
But I put a hoodie on over the top.
Yeah, that's okay.
And Kaelin doesn't sweat as much as she should.
Well, everybody sweats different.
No, but she just sweat a little more because she's over there working hard and she doesn't sweat that hard.
We need to amp this up.
I look disgusting.
Looks like I just wash my hair.
And she's all trotting in, a little sweat.
We have lunch with a friend of True Food.
And then the next day, I was going to my gym.
I own three title boxings in Nashville.
And haven't been in a year.
My partner that owner with has just been running it.
I was like, hey, I'm just going to check out completely.
and he does a lot of the real day to day just yeah I mean not take any credit for that so but I go yesterday
and telling me I was going just go take a class and it's pretty tough I'm sore and then that last
night I had a couple friends come over to play two-on-two basketball Caitlin and I versus my friend
Tom and his son and we beat him two out of three games that being said I'm pretty sore today in
different parts of my body like all my body's hurting in different places but I'm excited about going
You know what else? I watched a couple movies.
I watched Judas and the Black Messiah.
And that's not on Netflix.
I thought it was. It is not.
It's pretty good. It's good. It was good. It was actually really good.
It wasn't as good to me as the Trial of the Chicago 7.
Both or around at the same time have the same people in it.
So where do you watch it?
We rented it off of Amazon.
But the Trial of the Chicago 7 is on Netflix.
That is my favorite movie I've seen at a long time.
I also watched the last blockbuster, the documentary about the last blockbuster in Bend, Oregon.
Yeah, what did you think? Who's seen that here? I. You have? Anybody else?
Mm-mm. You have? That's pretty good. Yeah. It's when they start this thing, they're not the last blockbuster.
There's like four or five of them. And they're dying as they're shooting this documentary. And there's one left.
And, you know, she has been managed in the store for like 14, 15, 16 years. Her family's all worked there,
people at the town. But you're also, it's also a pop culture, like go back in time and experience.
It's not just about the store.
It's about how Blockbuster came about.
Netflix didn't really kill Blockbuster.
Them making gambols and other places financially didn't allow them to compete with Blockbuster.
Netflix did try to buy Blockbuster.
No, Blockbuster tried to buy Netflix.
No, what was it?
They were off.
Whatever the case was, they turned it down.
That's the famous story, but it's not as cut and dry as that.
No, there was other poor management decisions.
But it's pretty good.
I liked it.
Is that last Blockbuster still around?
Yes. I've been there.
In Bend, Oregon?
Yep.
I give it four out of five blockbuster cards.
Oh.
I would give trial of Chicago 7 five gavels out of five.
And I give Judas and the Black Messiah four and a half Panthers.
It's all really good.
Out of five.
So, yeah, watch some good stuff.
But did that, we still have no bathrooms.
One of them is almost done because they had two flooded.
And so we're, apparently May 7th, we're back in action at the house.
Oh, that's not far.
But we've been, I mean, yeah, it's not far now, but two months we've been.
And the little guest room that we're staying in in the house has like a big crack where the water is starting to come through.
Oh, boy.
From the rain, there's like a roof problem.
Jeez.
Man, you, what's that movie?
Money pit.
Yeah.
Oh, I bought a money pit.
Thanks for bringing it up.
Everybody got another repair.
Yeah.
We knew.
Between your house and Stanley, dang.
Stanley's doing pretty good.
I know, but I mean, there was.
a time where it's like he was at the vet and now it's like your house.
That's not one money, it's another.
By the way, let me mention this.
The Oscars are coming up Sunday night at ABC.
Mike D.S. seen all eight of the best picture nominees.
All eight of them.
Wow.
And he ranks all eight based on entertainment value.
So if you had to watch just one, and I don't want to give away his whole list.
Which one?
Well, number one, he puts Judas in the Black Messiah.
Oh, okay.
Oh, that's on there?
Best picture?
Mm-hmm.
Okay.
That's all I'm going to leave.
I'm going to leave that there.
But you put it eight, Mank.
Did you just not like it?
You didn't like it at all.
Okay.
But you can hear all these.
Go check out movie mics, movie podcast.
Yeah, I think I'm going to start really leaning into Mike to just tell us what to watch.
That'd be great.
My ratio of success with him is about 85%.
That's good.
Good enough for me to follow it.
Every once in a while, he gives me a honey boy.
And I'm like, what am I watching?
And then I've gotten Caitlin to watch.
I'm like, trust me, Mike said it's good.
Does Honeyboy mean he attracted you with the honey and you went for it?
Or I don't know that's saying.
That's a movie, right?
A movie about Serenot D'Bergeic.
What's the name?
Shia LaBuff.
There you go.
Oh, sorry.
And then he told me to watch Chicago 7 said, I'd love it.
I did.
Judaism by and Bishop Sine said I'd love it.
I did.
He thought it was a little better than Chicago 7.
I didn't think that, but it still was worthy of watching it.
So, yeah.
I just wrote both of those down.
You, the Chicago 7 takes about 15 minutes because it's very courtroom at first.
You will love it.
I did a whole story on Abby Hoffman as like a sixth grader.
He's featured.
in this a lot. Sasha Baron Cohen plays him.
But I did a whole, like, report on him right before I went in a junior high.
And he wrote a book called Steele This Book, and they really don't know how many copies it sold
because people kept stealing it.
Really?
That's funny.
I mean.
And later on, system of a down later kind of stole that idea.
And they did put out an album called Still This CD or Still This Album.
Oh, wow.
I didn't realize all that.
But it's good.
You guys don't like it.
I think you'll like it if you watch it and actually spend time watching it, not your
phone.
Come me from the guy who loves it.
his phone. Love this phone. Oh, okay. There's that. I have a couple
things here that I wanted to get to. First of all, I'm getting called out by listeners for
licking my lips whenever I do my new Scratch and Talk show on Instagram.
You always look through. I do it when I write. Yeah. I do it when I play ball.
What you do? It's genetic. My grandma did it. And what are they saying? Like, why do you do it or
stop doing it? Well, we have a clip here from TikTok. Here we go. This is, and I, you can go to my
Instagram now and watch me talk to you about stuff, but also scratch. Scratch offs trying to
win money and you can watch if I win or not in the last one though I do win have you got it yet
you got last no I haven't not yet late episode scratch and talk a plus scratch and talk and now all the
comments to her about me licking my lips I can't do anything about that here is mel with a view and she
duetted the video with her boyfriend and they both have drinks in their hands here you go okay take a
drink or shot if you want to die every time Bobones does this she likes her lips
32 I have 31 but I don't have 32 they're just taking drinks
I really feel like if you made out with me for good luck, I'd win something.
There you go.
That's me talking to Caitlin.
She wouldn't come make out with me on camera for good luck.
Oh, man.
I just wanted a spicy love scene.
I guess she didn't want the money.
She didn't, and we know what?
We didn't win.
See?
But, yeah, thank you for that.
Let's see.
Mark that off.
I have a list of things here.
Mark that off.
Morgan number two asks, can we do a segment where we brag about a product
that we recently bought and are oddly obsessed with it?
She told me what she bought, but I'll let you talk about it, Morgan.
Go ahead.
Well, I got a new weed eater and it automatically spools the thing for you.
If there is one thing I hated about weed eating, it was that I had to manually like spool the,
I don't even know what you call it, the wire in the little thing.
And so this new one, all you do is hit a button and it does it all for you and it clips it in everything.
And I was like, I weeded basically my whole yard because I was so excited.
So you just put the circle in it.
Yeah, you just stick the wire in one little side and then you just hit the button and it just winds it all up.
Do you know what kind of weed eater that is?
Yeah, it's called ego.
It's like gas power or electric powered.
But yeah, I was...
You have an electric powered weed eater?
Yeah.
Wow.
Well, yeah, like, so it's just a battery.
You just put the battery in and charge the battery.
That sounds amazing.
I used to have to mix oil and gas and the weed eaters when I worked on the golf course.
You had to get the...
It's terrible.
That ratio?
It's terrible.
You get that ratio wrong?
Yes, golly.
I guess the product that I'll mention here, these bagel thins, you guys ever had those?
No.
They're not full bagels, but they're thinner versions of it.
I love a good bagel and cream cheese.
But sometimes it's just a little too much for me.
But their bagel thin is a little healthier.
And even for a snack, we'll heat them up in the old toaster
and then put, like, some jam on there.
Pretty good.
That's cool.
And not as bad for you.
Anybody else have anything that want to mention here?
I'm obsessed with one of the, like, the salad chopper.
You can order it on Amazon, but the brand is OXO.
XO.
I think Target might have it too, but you, it's a good grip salad chopper.
And it looks like a pizza slicer, but it comes with this big white bowl.
And I love chop.
salad, but I normally do a fork
and a knife, but this is so much faster and it gets
all the things mixed together. So, like,
every bite is delicious.
And you just, and it's called officially what?
It's a, uh, exo,
XO is the brand and it's good grips,
salad chopper, and bowl set. So you get the bowl.
So that way you don't mess up any of your other bowls with the blade.
And then you just chop it.
See? It's like that. See?
Yeah, you talking about it, I had no idea.
But now she shows me the picture, I still have no idea.
You still don't. Oh, well, if you love chop.
Salad. This will save you a lot of time.
And if you don't love chop salad.
Okay, I'll do that. Radio Amy.
Speaking of yards, by the way, I meant to mention this.
Eddie fertilized his neighbor's yard.
Yeah.
And didn't ask you guys if that's okay because I had already fertilized my yard.
And I just bought one bag, but I didn't realize that I had, it was just a little too much.
So I had probably about a quarter of a bag left.
And my neighbor's yard across the street kind of looked like I had a lot of weeds.
And this is weed and feed.
So basically it kills your weeds and feeds your grass.
So I'm like, well, I think it'd be nice.
They're not home.
So I just kind of fertilized their yard while they were gone.
And nothing was said?
I mean, they never, this was, what, a week ago?
And they haven't said anything.
How well do you know them?
Hi.
How's it going?
We talk maybe like once every three weeks, just to catch up a little bit, but that's it.
Well, you need to be buds with someone in order to do that.
Like Eddie, do they have animals?
No, no animals.
Sometimes if you fertilize, you have to wait a certain amount.
Okay, they have no animals.
But that's over the line.
Really?
I thought it was being nice.
It was from your heart?
You meant well.
But that's not, you can't do that.
No, as passive aggressive, your yard looks like crap, I'm going to try to help you fix it.
That's what it is.
Because you said it has a lot of weeds.
You're saying your yard looks terrible.
Well, I never even told them.
And it looks pretty nice.
Maybe you need to tell them in case they don't.
Then they, what if they want to fertilize and they go out and do it again?
I think it's a rental and I think they're moving out here in the next couple months.
Still, if you're not buds, you shouldn't do anything like that.
Nice of you to try.
Your fingernail polish?
Like so ridiculous.
You just scratched your face.
I know.
I can't even really look at him.
I think it's going to be something you're going to have to just get
used to. That's it. It's like if someone grows
a really dumb mustache
and it's hard to look at their face.
For a bit until it becomes them.
You know what I'm saying? Like, I'm sure
at some point... Yeah, but the fact that you're having
to try to make it you makes it, like, if
you just did it
and it wasn't like a thing, but you're really
trying. But I don't understand.
I just put it on. That's all I've done.
I can't look at. Put it on. I'm going to wear it
everywhere I go. I can't wait for like my kids
baseball games and see what other parents start to
think. I'm excited. No. What?
This is a one week trial.
It's not going to work.
You shouldn't do all your fingers anyway.
It's too much.
Like maybe one.
You should do like two fingers on one hand.
Dude, what are you talking about?
You go all in on this stuff.
Okay.
And it's black too.
It's not like I'm wearing.
You're not Johnny Depp.
See, that's what I was thinking.
Johnny Depp, Stephen Tyler,
rock and roll stars.
You're dad of four.
Letto.
Stephen Tyler.
I just said, dad of seven.
Also a rock star.
Doesn't matter.
It's who you are inside, bones.
I hear you.
Again, if it makes you,
feel good, go ahead.
Right now it makes it feel good.
If it makes you feel so good that you're not worried about how your kids feel?
Yeah, well, that's the...
Out of the four kids, well, one of them is a baby, but out of my four kids, only one of them hates it.
The other two think it's pretty cool.
13-year-old hates it?
Yeah, exactly.
Let me read this from a listener, Erica, on Facebook.
Hi, my daughter is a huge fan.
Thursday, she was in a tragic car accident involving a dump truck.
She's currently fighting for her life in the PICU at Tufts Medical Center.
Is there any way you would give her a shout out
and I can show her this when she wakes up.
Her name is Ashlyn.
Ashland, we are rooting for you.
We'll say a prayer for you when this is over.
You got this.
When you wake up and you get right,
we love to talk to you again.
But we hate this happen.
Jeez.
We're really rooting for you here, Ashland.
I just saw this message pop up on the screen
and just wanted to tell you we're thinking about you.
Amy?
Yeah, I mean, I,
it's a message or they was like an email or call or I think she's watching live right now
oh watching live okay I don't know if there's a way I've we'd love to send a care package like a
pimping joy care package is we can do that Morgan you have her name right yeah I have on here
can you reach out to her maybe we send some stuff to the family that'd be that's hard I'm so sorry
y'all are having to go through that thank you for the message Erica we're really rooting for
for ashlin here lunchbox does you have a product you wanted to mention uh yeah I got the
chirp back wheel. I saw it on shark tank and it stretches out your back. So I was like,
I'm all in. I bought it. And it comes in three different sizes. And so if you're a beginner,
you use the big wheel, you roll it down your spine. And let me tell you, you want to feel about
instant your back loosening up. It's amazing. It's called the what? Churp back wheel.
Was it on shark tank? Yeah, it's on shark tank. And I'm telling you, I was like,
he just said that. He just said that. Yeah. He started off with that. Yeah. It's called the chirp wheel.
If you just Google chirp backroller, it comes up and you can buy one or you can buy the set of three and it's amazing.
Sounds cool.
Any of that stuff, though, you buy in a bundle to fix your spine?
I don't know if I believe it.
Because everybody's backs are so different.
No, just your spine.
No, no, no, it's really just to stretch out your back muscles.
Oh, I'm looking at the picture of it.
Yeah.
You just roll it down your spine so that way it gets all your back muscles up and down.
It is awesome.
I think we're done.
Are you good?
Yeah.
Anything?
No.
Let me recommend one more podcast.
It's called the Biz Tape, B-I-Z-T-A-P-E.
If you're just looking for a new podcast,
it's definitely about, you know,
music and news and media and cool things happening,
where they talk about AI writing songs now.
AI wrote a song as Kurt Cobain
by taking all of the songs from Nirvana,
and they made a new song,
and you can hear it and see what you think about it.
Also, there's a part two
where they talk about Taylor Swift's new album,
Taylor's version, and they kind of review that,
go over that.
All right, that's it.
Thank you for the, for the,
time, friends. We'll see you guys tomorrow. Bye everybody. All right. If you have ever dealt with a traditional
