Tomorrow's show, radio show, the world's hottest shot will be taken by someone. I know you guys are like, oh, drinking on the job. It's in the same box that that super hot chip was in. That basically melted lunchbox or Mike, whoever had it.
Starting point is 00:03:20 Oh, yeah. I think it was lunchbox. Yeah, I didn't try it, so I don't know how hot it was. So I'm just letting you know, hey, oh, can't wait to have it. Famous last words, buddy. So that'll be tomorrow on the show A couple things I wanted to mention First of all
Starting point is 00:03:35 Let's see I have a lot of things to mention Amy you took your kids out to that zombie shooting thing Yes It's a whole haunted situation But the first part of the night Was we took a hay ride Where we shot zombies with paintball guns
Starting point is 00:03:49 Awesome So you drive out to this As you call it situation It's 45 minutes away Because this is whole setup I mean they are not messing around They have so much going on It was like we were in a Halloween theme park.
Starting point is 00:04:02 So you go, but then what do you do? So you get there. We decided to do the hay ride first. So we loaded up. We were given all these rules. We got our, you know, our ammo, our paint. And then we filled up our guns. And then you're off and you drive through this course.
Starting point is 00:04:16 And there's zombies that are like targets. But then there's also real live people dressed up as zombies and they're zigzagging. And then you're trying to like shoot them in the head. So it's fun. Is it live people dressed as zombie? Yeah. It'd be like if you had on a zombie costume and you're just wandering around. And then if they're hit enough, then finally the zombie will fall to the ground.
Starting point is 00:04:34 And you're like, yeah, we got him. I mean, I think it's fun for them. I don't know. That's awesome. So you get hit by paintballs? I'm sure if you're a mask and stuff, it's fine. They have gear on. Like they're not.
Starting point is 00:04:44 And they have big masks and stuff. Like, they're protected. And a paintball doesn't hurt unless it gets skin. I've never gotten hit by one. Yeah, they're not. Oh, I've painballed a lot. It doesn't hurt if you get in your clothes. Okay.
Starting point is 00:04:53 If you get it in like your neck or your hand. Mm-hmm. I mean, and this place is making bank, too, because this place was packed to the max. And we got there early. We were the one of the first people in line. So we got there at 545, but they're open until, I think, like, midnight. 5.45 a. Oh, 5.45 p.m.
Starting point is 00:05:09 They're open until midnight. And, like, when we were leaving at about 8 p.m. or so, the line was so long. It was crazy. And they're smart because you pay for your paint, your paintballs. Then if you run out, they have extra on. and you can buy a bucket for a little tennis ball can for like $10 more dollars. And so of course you're having so much funds, you're like, okay, more payballs. And then, I mean, they're probably just making so much money.
Starting point is 00:05:36 I'm like, this is genius. But the setup is spectacular. I was going to say spooktacular. You were? That felt lame. But I thought it was so fun. I met some listeners out there. Then we went through a haunted house.
Starting point is 00:05:50 They had trampoline artists or entertainers. that did all these tricks tricks on the trampoline. They had a band playing live music. They had kettle corn fried Oreos. Was there a haunted house? Yeah, through the woods. It took like...
Starting point is 00:06:05 So a haunted house. It was all set up, but they call it, quote, the woods. So, I mean, it was pretty cool. Like, our family, we were thoroughly entertained and it was worth every penny and it was like a fun activity and we definitely would go back.
Starting point is 00:06:18 It's called like Miller's Thrillers. It feels like you'd have to go at 2 p.m. though, to get a good spot. No, I went at 5.45. And that was the sweet spot. Yeah, so, I mean, it was dusk. I felt like I was in a real episode of Walking Dead. On November 7th, which is a couple weeks away, that's when we pulled the clock back.
Starting point is 00:06:35 Yep. Can't wait? No, terrible. I hate cold weather. We were in Utah over the weekend, and it's super nice, but it's already cold. There we were. It's freezing. It gets like to 30 degrees.
Starting point is 00:06:46 And I'm just thinking, well, this is what the next few months is going to be back home, too. Sucks. I know. I hate that. I have no interest to cold weather. If I could, I would move somewhere south. I'd be a bird. Oh, migrate.
Starting point is 00:06:56 Yeah, make me a bird. So I could fly away. Yeah, I would go south and then just come back here about the end of March. Because I hate the cults so much. But we have dogs. The whole dog situation, too, for the holidays is tough. Now that we have two dogs, because, you know, we'll go to see Caitlin's family. And we're not taking them with us.
Starting point is 00:07:13 So it's like, where do we put the dogs? I think we haven't figured out. But it's going to be like that we have kids, too, like when we leave the kids behind. I was going to say, traveling with kids. Where do we board the kids? You guys are like, let's have dinner. I'm like, well, now what do we do with the kids? You got to figure all that out.
Starting point is 00:07:27 Yeah, going out on a Tuesday night's hard. Morgan number two won the draft of cartoons, and she retains the championship and retains the belt. I mean, she's the best of this game, for sure. She's won both full seasons. So what would you like to say, Morgan? I mean, I'm just really proud of myself that I managed to win another draft round. It's kind of like Eddie with easy trivia,
Starting point is 00:07:49 and I'm bad about every game on this show, but draft somehow I managed to figure out so I'm pretty proud of myself right now. Eddie holds the crown of worst drafter of all time. Really? But an interesting fact, Ramundo has the lowest winning percentage. He still had three wins.
Starting point is 00:08:06 But, I mean, there are times when Ramundo he got 1%. Oh. Yeah! No, that's not good. Well, hey, let him be proud of what he wants to be proud of. Okay. All right, you're right. So Morgan number two is the champion again.
Starting point is 00:08:17 There's a new Mike D's movie podcast. That's up. Mike, what are you talking about? I'm talking about the scariest movies of the last 20 years. And what makes... Don't tell me number one. What makes the list, though? A movie called...
Starting point is 00:08:31 Any that I've seen. I think the one you've seen is Cabin in the Woods. I never saw that. Okay. Nor would I. I don't think any that you've seen. Last 20 years. Because I've seen some movies that would be that borderline, like 28 days later.
Starting point is 00:08:47 Yeah, that's the last 20 years. Is that in your list? Nope. That movie's freaky because it's about a virus. and they're running from the virus. And they did a sequel like 28 weeks later, right? Yeah. That was okay.
Starting point is 00:08:57 I'm into viruses. I like those movies. I like time travel. It's fascinated with it. And I like apocalypse. Like the world's ending and everybody's fighting for themselves. And like you're back to almost what caveman life was back then. You're just in your tribes and you're trying to survive by running or killing.
Starting point is 00:09:17 You like that stuff. I'd just like to see how long I'd survive. And I think too sometimes, What if just today at 3 p.m. The sky got dark and a humongous spacecraft was over the top. And we now had to figure out what's about to happen. Are we about to be slaves? Would be enslaved by the aliens?
Starting point is 00:09:35 Well, I'm just going to invite them in for dinner. We could be such dumb little creatures to them. They don't eat our dinner. They're either going to enslave the human race, kill the human race, or just do it drive by and be like, hey. They don't want to befriend to the human race? Why would they? They were idiots.
Starting point is 00:09:49 It'd be like us befriending a rat. We do. Some people do. Some people do have rat pets. But odds are. Most people don't. I would say 99.9% of people don't. I would think they were here to kill the earth.
Starting point is 00:10:06 So what do you do? So it'll be fun, right? It's like you get to be the generation of people that actually saw it come to an end. You guys don't think that's... No, I've never actually thought about this at all. I actually don't want to go through that at all. No. It sounds traumatic.
Starting point is 00:10:19 Oh, it sucks. But, but, yeah, it sounds terrible. And then, like, what's my plan? But there's not a little bit of you that's like, oh, I would actually get to be that group of people that saw it come to an end. It's like when the meteor's coming. Would you rather you die normally? Or would you rather die with a bang? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:10:37 I have not thought about this. Oh, man, I do. But when you die, you die. Yes, and we're all going to die. We're all dying and a blink of a line. So you'd rather die being a part of, like, something historic. You don't think when you die, you're like, dang, I'm going to miss out on all. Like, how does this end?
Starting point is 00:10:49 Like you're not going to know because you're going to die. Right. Or you might know. I don't think there's a TV screen where you're watching. Maybe watching from above. Wanda vision. I don't think that's the case. No.
Starting point is 00:10:59 But you never wonder how does this whole thing end? Because eventually it's going to end for everybody. Earth is going to do its thing. And like it had before when a meteor came and wiped out the dinosaurs. Who knows how many generations of things lived before the dinosaurs when a meteor killed them? We got meters flying all around us. We're like, oh, we're lucky this time. We can't stop that.
Starting point is 00:11:16 If one's coming at us and it's going to its target, what we can do about it? he's going to live here. So, anyway, I think a lot about this. Yeah. I get on conspiracy TikTok too. You ever get on that, Mike? Yeah, a devil in that sometimes. They have the iceberg drawn.
Starting point is 00:11:30 On the top of the iceberg are all the conspiracies that we know about. It's like JFK killing. It's, you know, the chemicals drop from airplanes. Illuminati. Things that we know. Yeah. Luminati's not even real.
Starting point is 00:11:42 Oh, it's not even real. It used to be, it's an old group that was based off the Masons. He has to say this. Yes. He's required to, he signed a document. It's fine. There are organizations.
Starting point is 00:11:56 Underground. No, not underground. But there are organizations that do make a lot of decisions. There are what people would consider Illuminati like, but they're kind of out in the open. Oh, like who? But the Illuminati itself, not so much. There may be a group calling themselves that, but they don't wield power over society. So back to the TikTok conspiracy where there's like the Isseye.
Starting point is 00:12:19 Well, the lower you go, the crazier the TikTok, or the crazier the conspiracies get. And it gets to be pretty scary about level three. Have you seen the icebergs ones? I don't think that one. Yeah. Well, so there are a lot of them that use this iceberg image on TikTok, and then they each pick different ones to talk about. I mean, there's everything on TikTok. So give us one level three one.
Starting point is 00:12:40 I would have to look at it. But there's level five ones. Oh, gosh. That's like way underwater. You can't even see it. Classic. One of them is there is no space. There's just water above a level.
Starting point is 00:12:49 below us. That's one of the top ones. Okay. There's space. Look up. Well, sure, to a point, but there's only one. Listen, I don't believe in that one either. But there are a lot of cool ones out there. Okay, Learith is flat. Let's see.
Starting point is 00:13:09 It is kind of crazy that it's round. What's that? Well, there are a lot of flat earthers, too. What's crazy about it? That our earth is round. I mean, I believe the earth is round. Oh, here we go. Uh-oh. What are you talking about, Amy? But obviously, I mean, I know the gravity
Starting point is 00:13:22 keeps us down, but I mean, it's just crazy. to think that we're there's people I it's not sometimes crazy to think about how it's round no no yes I think it's weird to think of earth as a ball yeah but also think it's weird that I can watch TV I don't know how signal gets to my TV to watch this radio shows
Starting point is 00:13:40 weird we talk about that yeah can you can you explain to us how it works and people are like well explain your earth round dude I don't know how my car works what are you talking about I don't how do you explain the world around I mean gravity keeps us off down I know it is but it's weird to think that we're up this way and there's people upside down but they're not upside down.
Starting point is 00:13:55 I know they're not upside down. What? They're all right side up. It's a circle. Yeah. How do you know you're not there? Okay. Yeah, you're not picturing it.
Starting point is 00:14:04 You're not picturing it. Shane and Tulsa is on. Let's talk to Shane on the post show. Shane, you there, buddy? Yeah, what's going on? Hey, man, you're on. It's Bobby. Hey, man, I just had a quick comment about the Alec Baldwin thing,
Starting point is 00:14:20 Hollywood guns stuff. I'm an international arms dealer. I'm a firearms business owner. probably military, all the good stuff, I've been around it my whole life. My statement, I guess, is in watching Hollywood try and make things as real as possible, why don't they spend just a little bit of money? And, like, classes aren't that expensive. Why not spend a guy to a half-day class just so they halfway know what they're doing
Starting point is 00:14:45 and at least make it and try to make it look more real? Yeah, I think that would actually be something to. And they may have, I don't know, in this situation, but there are, listen, I had to take classes to do all kinds of dangerous stuff for breaking Bobby Bones. so I don't think it's out of the realm of whatever normalcy. I don't think it's out of common sense to have someone who's going to use a firearm, especially a real one that you're using as a... Because a lot of these guns they use are real,
Starting point is 00:15:10 they just make sure that they don't have real life bullets in them. Yeah, it's almost like if you should use one, but I feel that way in normal life too. Like if you should use a gun in real life, you should probably have a little, just a little bit of training on it. Like when I was a kid, I'd take Hunter's Ed. You know, my stepdad was like, you cannot go into the woods.
Starting point is 00:15:28 And again, I was off hunting by myself at 9, 10 years old with a 410 in the woods alone. But he was like, you can't do this unless you go take a hunter's ed class, so at least you have basic knowledge of the land, the firearm you're using, what you should and should. I don't think there's, I think it's fine that we're just in all these actors that want to use real guns into a hunter's ed class or gun ed class. So I'm totally down with that. My problem with the guy that called this morning is he wanted to make a political jump in.
Starting point is 00:15:56 And this is not a place for that. There's not a place. There's no need to take... You can actually make things happen. Like, this is an absolutely reasonable suggestion by this guy. Yeah. Who works in guns. To go, hey, if you're going to handle a real gun, you should know the basics of a real gun.
Starting point is 00:16:10 It actually, like, at this point, too, would be better for the scene. Like, if you want it to seem real, knowing how to actually really handle a gun will translate better. But I guess I just am confusing. I'm like, we can do all kinds of things. Like, there's... Like, we're talking about radio, internet.
Starting point is 00:16:25 Like, things are crazy. We send people to space, but we... Why do we have to still even use a real gun? I get because so it looks right, but can't they make... Like, why can't they just make a totally fake one? No real guns are ever allowed on set. End of story. Okay, well, I mean, sure.
Starting point is 00:16:40 And some of them do, like, that show rookies has not gone to airsoft guns. Yeah. And they look pretty real. But again, a lot of people are just like, we don't want gun snobs on a Reddit thread being like they're not even using the accurate gun to the time period. Because that's a thing too.
Starting point is 00:16:54 Okay. Especially when it comes to, you know, critiquing a piece of art. Okay. But it also isn't something that's happening all the time. It was an accident. It was an accident. But again, this doesn't happen all. It's happened twice where someone has accidentally shot someone else with a gun.
Starting point is 00:17:11 In how many years? 30 years. Over 25 years. With thousands of thousands of thousands. So it's not like this is some sort of epidemic where people are shooting all the time. I know, but. So, but I agree with you, Shane. I think if you should handle a real gun ever,
Starting point is 00:17:26 you should learn how to use the real gun before you handle the real gun. gun. I think it's a great point. I appreciate you calling. Yeah, so anytime, man. All right, see you later. I also think if you want to upgrade and all of a sudden, you know, have a, we'll call it for the sake of people that don't know as much about guns, an assault rifle, I think you should have to learn a little bit more to be able to get one of those guns. Oh, for sure. I'm not someone who thinks everybody should get all guns all the time. Let's rock. No. I think you should have to have a knowledgeable base about firearms to even own one to begin with and I would compare it to I drive a car.
Starting point is 00:18:00 I got a license. I had to go do a little book and do a little test to get driver's license. Now when I had to drive an 18, we had to get a bigger license. Even a motorcycle. Different license. Different license.
Starting point is 00:18:10 I need a bigger license to drive a bigger vehicle because I could do more damage with that vehicle if I make the wrong choices. And I think it should be the same thing with guns. You want to get a bigger gun? Let's take a little more class. Let's make sure you're not nutty in the head
Starting point is 00:18:25 and then let's make sure that you're actually smart enough to use this firearm. So I appreciate that call. Let's go over to Dan in Idaho. Dan, you are on the air. What do you want to say? Hey, you know, the whole
Starting point is 00:18:42 Alec Baldwin thing, you know, I think that totally comes down to this, it's a safety issue on everybody's part that handles the weapon. You know, all the way from the armor all the way to the actor.
Starting point is 00:18:58 You know, I worked in heavy construction and mining for years, and, you know, we would never go in a mine or into a confined space or anything without double-checking everything that everybody else had already checked. And so, you know, it's a tragedy that it happened, but, you know, it's a full-on safety issue. It's nothing political. It's just it's safety on everybody's part that handles the weapon. Yeah, I can agree with that. my only issue was when people started blaming the actor. I'm sure he had shot that gun or a gun like that 40 times so far. It's a Western.
Starting point is 00:19:40 You know, should he take the gun apart before he uses it every time? That wasn't in the protocol? I mean, listen, when I was just doing a lot of this dangerous stuff, although mine wasn't a gun, I didn't go back and like double check and make sure that my harness the clips. It's like, I trust the people who specialize in the job that they're doing that I'm working. And so it just sucks. And what also sucks is people use this as a way to push along their agenda.
Starting point is 00:20:08 Now I think there will be some reform on people using guns and safety measures that are taken with guns because of this. Because it is such a public story. If it were just another actor and this would happen, it wasn't Ali Baldwin, this wouldn't be that big of a story. This would be, oh, that was unfortunate situation. That's a tragedy. But it wouldn't be near as big of a story as it is now. if it were some unnamed actor shooting an indie movie, it probably wouldn't even been a headline, guys,
Starting point is 00:20:35 just to be honest with you. Yeah, at first, when I saw the headline last week, I thought, oh, the show Alec Baldwin's, or the movie he's filming. And then you realize, oh, wow, he was the one that actually pulled the trigger. I thought they were just using his name because he was the biggest name from the film.
Starting point is 00:20:51 But he was actually the one. And then they started going, you know, as far as it goes with Alec Baldwin, they were like, why is he even pointing the gun at somebody else? You should never do that. Safety 101. He wasn't. He was aiming at the camera, and we see scenes like that all the time where the guns
Starting point is 00:21:09 aimed at the camera because they want us to feel like point of view of the person that is sitting there having the gun pointed at them. And then did he fire? I don't know, because I read lots of different things, but I don't know if it like went off or he like actually pulled the trigger. I believe he pulled the trigger.
Starting point is 00:21:25 I believe so. I think he shot the gun. Okay. So in the end, it sucks. We hope there will be rule changes so this never happens again. Also, in the end end, don't make this political. It's not on this show. I don't.
Starting point is 00:21:41 So I'm not going to let you. By the way, to no one who called here, I got after somebody earlier who called in. It was like, well, if he's anti-gun, and I'm like, well, if it... I'm not even going to go back down there. And that told the guy, he should sit in the corner and punished.
Starting point is 00:21:57 I put him in the corner for a minute. I thanked him for calling. Not because I agreed with him, but I felt bad for him. Bobby was not having it. Oh, it was funny. Let's see here. Harrison Ford lost his credit card in Italy while filming Indiana Jones 5, but he got it back thanks to a tourist.
Starting point is 00:22:13 There's an Indiana Jones 5? Isn't he like 100? Yeah. Do, because are you expecting if you're returning it to someone that famous, that you're going to get an amazing reward? No, I would expect that his assistant meets me. Uh-huh. And says thank you and gives you like an autograph.
Starting point is 00:22:28 Oh. That's what I would expect. Harrison Ford, first of all, I wouldn't expect that Harrison Ford was Harrison Ford. I'd expect Harrison Ford was some other guy named Harrison Ford. That's a semi-common name, last name Ford. Yeah, it'd be a coincidence. Harrison Ford lost a credit card during a filming in Indiana Jones 5, but got it back thanks to a German tourist. The tourist stumbled across the credit card with a 79-year-old star's name on it.
Starting point is 00:22:51 Weird that his name would be on it, too, and does not like a company that he owns, that he could use the card. Oh, yeah. So people wouldn't know it was him. Yeah. You know? The actor was filming the latest installment of Indiana Jones with Phoebe Waller Bridge, Mads, Mickelson, Toby Jones, and Antonio Banderas.
Starting point is 00:23:07 But pretty cool. And there's a picture of him with them. You see the picture of him with the people found out? Yeah. Well, that's fun. I take a pick. A lottery drawing comes up 5-555. And to 726 tickets on the top prize. Is that a pick three?
Starting point is 00:23:22 I guess so. Gosh, you would never pick three numbers in a row like that and think, like, that would hit. The North Carolina Education Lottery said 10,726 tickets became winners. Wow, more than that. When the pick three drawing came up 555. Lottery officials at Tuesday evening's drawing had a triple five result, earning $250 for players who got the 50-cent tickets,
Starting point is 00:23:46 $500 for players who purchased the $1 tickets, and then it continued to go up. But $5.55. That's a good phone number, too, by the way. That's Hollywood's number. Do they still do $5-55? I haven't seen that in a long time. either. You know what I'll also Google? And maybe you know
Starting point is 00:23:59 the answer to this. Because I do now. Why don't people say bye in movies or TV shows? They just hang up the phone. They finish the conversation. All right, thanks. They don't say bye. They never say bye. Why? You'll never see someone in a movie or a TV show saying bye. And you know the answer to this. Only because I googled it this weekend. Did you notice it in a show? What made you Google it? Uh-huh.
Starting point is 00:24:18 But then I noticed like two or three times in this one show. They never said bye. They have the conversation. They just hang up. But they never say bye because it actually hurts the pace of the movie. of the film. So like, okay, talk to later, bye. And they got to kind of pick it back up again. So instead, it's like, God, it, boom, they just continue, the pacing stays the same. Interesting. But you'll never see, or you'll almost never see people say bye on a TV show or a movie. Oh, now I'm going to look for that. They just hang up the phone. We watched a couple more episodes of impeachment last night. We are on like episode five. Okay, catching up. They have a lot of famous
Starting point is 00:24:51 people in this show that play people. The Colby Smothers, you know that is? How I Met Your Mother. She plays Anne Coulter. Oh, I mean, she's so good. Her voice in it. As Ann Coulter, she nails it. Literally, Ann Coulter's the way she talks. The girl that plays Monica Lewinsky is Jonah Hill's sister. Yes.
Starting point is 00:25:09 I didn't know that. Have you watched the show at all? No, nothing. I don't even know anything about it. There are, like, trickled in famous people all throughout the show. Linda Tripp is played by, what's her name, really famous? Sarah Paulson. Yeah, and then Judith Light is in it.
Starting point is 00:25:25 She's the boss. She's his mom. Sarah Paulson has to wear a fat suit though. And then, you know, people are like criticizing her. Like, why don't you just get somebody fat to do it instead of putting someone in a fat suit? That whole argument's weird to me when they're like, well, why don't you get somebody straight to play a straight guy? Why can't? It's like, everybody's acting.
Starting point is 00:25:44 They're all actors. No one's really who they are. Like, let's find the best actor. Yeah. Like, no, but if he's straight, we need a straight guy to play. No, no. Let's just find somebody that's good. You know what's crazy is Matt Drudge
Starting point is 00:25:57 It's played by Who's Billy Eichner And is awesome at it And I'm not, Billy Eichner is kind of annoying to me sometimes Because he's just so so like crazy and loud I'm sure as a person he's fine But when he's on the street yelling at people With Billy on the streets
Starting point is 00:26:10 Oh yeah I'm like if he came yelling me I would just run away I wouldn't stick around and play the game But Billy Eichner plays Matt Drudge And he's so good He even looks like Matt Dredge Do you guys know who Matt Drudge is? Yes
Starting point is 00:26:23 Or Billy Eichler The Drudge Report Judge Report. Billy Eigner, look him up. You'll know who he is. Yeah, I got a picture of him. Still know what dude is. Really?
Starting point is 00:26:30 What's he in? Billy on the street? No, I don't know what that guy is. Mainly from the TikTok clips with that now. What do you say? The TikTok clips where they take it from his show. I know mainly from that. I think he had a voice in Lion King, the remake.
Starting point is 00:26:44 Yeah, I think it was. He's also in Parks and Rec, too. Billy Eichner is? Yeah. I'm at that point where I see people on TV. I'd say most of the actors I see on TV, I don't know who they are. Like, I can get into that age.
Starting point is 00:26:56 There are so many, we'll call them famous people, that nobody knows who they are because there's just so many ways to be famous. So if you follow like E or people, 75% of the people, most people don't even know who they are. Yeah. It's like a random reality show on Netflix. It's like sometimes they'll put me up there
Starting point is 00:27:11 and everybody, I hate when they put me on that stuff. Because the comments are all like, who? Who's this guy? Never heard of them. Looks like an idiot. It's just all people bashing me because they don't know who. Because I'm not famous.
Starting point is 00:27:22 I have some notoriety in a certain. part of entertainment, but I have enough because I've been on Idol or dancing with the stars or, you know, breaking by my bones, these things to go, okay, well, we'll post them. And then maybe it'll get some clicks because he sends his people that way. But I beg them not to, because all I do is get just dragged completely when they put me on some of that mainstream stuff. Never heard of them. I hate that.
Starting point is 00:27:47 I mean, it sucks. And you would think it would be the opposite. Like, oh, wow, look, people magazine picked up with the, when they post it, when they post are our wedding pictures on people? I looked like the first seven comments. I was like, Caitlin, stay away. Oh, man. You do not want to go over here.
Starting point is 00:28:01 Because they weren't bashing her in the way. They were like, she's hot, but it was all like, one, never heard of them. Who's that? Is it an accident? That's not a celebrity. And then it was, how do you get her? And it was a whole list of that. Like, she's too hot for him.
Starting point is 00:28:16 So just the comments in general are not a good place to go. I get people, some of my friends texting me too, like, hey, did you do this? Do you say this? Apparently there's some. rumor out there that I don't like Jesse James Decker. I love Jesse James Decker. She's fine. I didn't say love her. I don't know her that well. So what happened? Someone, I'll say this, a sibling of someone close to the show hit me and said, hey, there's some stuff on the internet about you and Jesse James Decker that you may not like her.
Starting point is 00:28:40 And I was like, I wonder why. Like, I like Jesse James Decker, fine. I think I've only met her four times. A couple times. How many times she'd been on the show? I think once on the show we did a Bobbycast. And she was delightful. And then I saw her at dinner the other night. We were having dinner and we talked to her for a long time. Like I have no beef whatsoever. But it just, I mean, the internet is, people can write whatever they want. But I have no beef at all. And when someone said that to me, I was like, why in the world would someone think that? So I'm going to create a few little. One of our siblings said that. Not siblings. You said a sibling to someone on the show. And I was like, hmm, okay, well,
Starting point is 00:29:15 my sister. Significant other. I was like my brother. Sorry, significant other. It feels like sibling sometimes. So, yeah, no, no, no. Internet's a mean place. I don't even post as much anymore, even on Instagram. I know. I post things in the, like I'm meeting pumpkin stuff. Oh my God, I'm about to pumpkin out.
Starting point is 00:29:33 I got a few more days left. I post that stuff, post a picture occasionally, but it's so toxic at this point. And Caitlin, she doesn't even allow people to comment on her pictures are so mean to her. Just friends. Yeah, like people that just follow her. Yeah. She doesn't allow people to comment on her pictures. and she's not trying to be an influencer.
Starting point is 00:29:51 She's not trying to do anything, except just live her life. So she'll post out like something once every week and a half or two weeks. And then she's like, I'm good. I just don't want to deal with it because people are so mean.
Starting point is 00:30:01 Yeah. So I don't know how we got into this. But the show... Actors, knowing who people are famous. No, the show's really good. Yeah. I just realized too, because now I've been looking
Starting point is 00:30:11 at the cast members from impeachment. And now I... There's one guy on there, Colin Hanks. He plays one of the... Tom makes his son? Like, I don't know, FBI guys. And the whole time I'm watching him, like, God, this guy looks just like Tom Hanks.
Starting point is 00:30:25 I had no idea that was his son. Now I know. Looks just like him. Like identical. Have you ever seen Tom Hanks's other son, Chad Hanks? Oh, yeah. Well, I see him on, well, TikTok or Instagram talking about the vaccine. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:38 I'm going to get the booster as soon as I can get it. Speaking of the vaccine. Hit me hard. And I have a medical condition that allows me to get it earlier. And so. Well, let's go. You don't get to go with him. Oh, I can't. It can't be like I'm already in line with them.
Starting point is 00:30:52 Well, no, I talked a little crap and I was like, I'm never getting it because apparently I'm immune to it. Because I have the vaccine, but I've been places where there are people everywhere, hug and kiss. I'm in Arkansas. I'm basically running for office there. Not literally, but it's like I want to say hi to everybody. I went to the Razorback game. I have people spitting in my mouth, you know, giving them massages. We're in the elevator. We're doing human pyramids in there. And so it's like, if anyone's going to get it and be a breakthrough case, it would be me. And so I came on the air, I was like, you should study me because it ain't happening. But now, I feel like I need to get that booster so I don't get it.
Starting point is 00:31:27 Eddie thought he had COVID this weekend. Oh, man, talk about scary. Because I'm like you, man, I'm like, I already got it back last July. I'm vaccinated. Like all that. You're a vaccine? I'm vaccinated. Sibbling, I know.
Starting point is 00:31:39 I'm vaccinated. I had no worries. But then I made these, like, delicious steaks. Like, I smelled them when I was cooking them. Like, they're so good. then I put a piece in my mouth. I'm like, oh, I don't know. This tastes weird. And then my kids are like, this is delicious, dad. I'm like, what do you mean? This tastes terrible. Something's not right. And then my nose was runny. And I'm thinking, oh gosh, like, I got it again. This is it.
Starting point is 00:32:02 And then you go into panic mode bones. Suddenly, I couldn't smell anything. Suddenly, I couldn't taste anything. And then I'm like, what is happening? I get cologne. I spray it right in my nose. I'm like, okay, wait, I smell that. Okay, maybe I do smell things. I took a test. I'm negative. I don't have COVID, but I got scared for like two hours. What was wrong with the meat? I think what had happened was I used a mouthwash before I started grilling and then I took some pseudofeds for my runny nose
Starting point is 00:32:28 and I think that's what it was. Like the meat just tasted weird. I guess the salt was weird on my tongue, but now everything tastes normal. You never had it. No, I haven't. Luckily I haven't. Mike, you haven't?
Starting point is 00:32:38 Nope. But... My wife had it. Weird. And there's a big discussion about blood type now, some blood types. Yeah. And again, so much.
Starting point is 00:32:46 much of this that we're learning is kind of learned on the job because this hasn't, you know, been a thing. I don't know my blood type, though. Me neither. I have no clue. Why do we not know this? Shouldn't they put it under a license? They've told you before, too, right? For sure. I just don't remember. I have been told, and for whatever reason, I can't remember it. Who told me? When you donate blood, they tell you. But I have a different blood type than my husband, and I know that. I know we're not the same, but I don't know mine. But he hasn't gotten it either. Yeah, I don't even know that's the truth. I know. It's just Some people are saying, based on the evidence they've seen, but there are also stories like Pisces, get it more than anybody else.
Starting point is 00:33:21 I'm a Pisces? I'm a Pisces. I don't know. This is crazy to, it's just still nuts that what we've been going through. What's going to happen is everybody's just going to learn to live with it one or the other. It's never going away. You can stay vaccinated or you cannot. And let's open it up.
Starting point is 00:33:38 I don't know why we're holding things back. It's like everything else we went through, right? Open the doors. Let's go. Let's get back at it. because some states aren't as back at it as others. There are different rules and regulations at different places. Let me tell you, I'm still a little weirded out at church, though,
Starting point is 00:33:51 when they say greet your neighbor and everyone's like shaking hands. I'm like, whoa. I mean, we have hand sanitizer throughout the church, but what I didn't realize, I was thrown off by it because I don't want to be rude and not greet my neighbor. But I guess at our church they have a section that's seconded off. If you're more COVID conscious, you can sit back there. I'm like, oh, I guess I should have sat back there
Starting point is 00:34:11 because everyone up here on the front is like licking you. other. Good morning. Happy Sunday. That's a entry church. That's greeting your neighbor. You look them. That's what it felt like. I mean, and of course you want to meet people, but I'm like, whoa, whoa, whoa, calm down. I fall into that as in much of my life I do,
Starting point is 00:34:28 into that middle ground of I am extremely aware of COVID, but I got my vaccine and I'm like, okay, I did my part. I don't want to wear a mask. I will if they require me to. We're into some stores and I'm like wear a mask. I'm like, cool. For you guys, I'm going to
Starting point is 00:34:43 a mask. Oh, I got Vax for other people. I didn't get it for me. But I'm like, all right, I had the option, the opportunity to get the Vax. I don't want to wear a mask. I'm not wearing a mask, you know, and I'll go to the mall. I don't wear a mask. Some people wear a mask, and that's good for them, but I feel like I got all the stuff done, but now I'm like on team no mask, not fighting people because of it. But I just, I don't wear a mask anymore because I feel like that vaccine's got me good. If I get sick, I'm probably just going to be a little bit sick. and then be okay with it. You know, some of these stores,
Starting point is 00:35:16 they still have their old signs on the door. Like, and because you walk in, it says mask required. And then you walk in and no one's wearing a mask. I'm always just like, well, what do I do? Like,
Starting point is 00:35:24 I guess I can do whatever I want to do. I just look at the people inside and see what the vibe is. Yeah. And if they give me the option, no mask, I'm always no mask. But if they give me the, if they say you have to wear a mask,
Starting point is 00:35:33 of course. I can't go into a store where they go, you have to wear your shoes and shirt and be like, ah, I'm all nipples today, baby. And people are like, I can't believe you make us wear a mask.
Starting point is 00:35:43 No, they also make you wear a shirt. As a dude. Yeah, as a dude. So that argument doesn't quite hold water. But again, so I get messages to people on Instagram, I'm going to like, why don't you wearing a mask? When I'm in a place with people. Because I don't want to wear a mask.
Starting point is 00:35:58 It doesn't get pimples. My face. But again, I think I'm in what is the quiet majority. People who got backed and then are like, I'm good now. You tell me I'm good, I'm good. I'm good. I'm going to go live my life and I'm going to wear a mask all the time unless I'm told to. But it's so loud from both sides.
Starting point is 00:36:17 Gotta wear your mask. Or I will never wear a mask. I don't care what anyone says. And I'll fist fight you because I want to go inside and get ice cream in the store. They say masks only. And I'm not wearing a mask. And dang it, I want my prelien and cream. Or I'm going to fly on an airplane and fight people about a mask.
Starting point is 00:36:30 You don't know the airplane. Yeah. Like, did you not get the memo before you booked your ticket? I would love to not wear a mask on an airplane. Yeah. Oh, my God. It's the worst. It's the worst.
Starting point is 00:36:38 You know what? You just snack a lot. That's what I do. I'm like, oh, I'm so thirsty. Oh, I'm so hungry. I eat way more than I've ever eaten on a plane because you get to take your mask off, which then gets in the whole thing like, okay, I don't even get this. But I do what I'm told and I put it back on when I'm not eating. And I take a lot of sips of water. Yep. Ah, yes. So thirsty. Can't get dehydrated. We flew for our honeymoon. That flight was so long and the seat could lean back a lot. So we took, I took a blanket and put it over my head, which was like a big man.
Starting point is 00:37:13 Ooh, big, yeah. So when I took a nap, I didn't wear the mask. It was bothering me. So I just put the whole blanket over my head. I mean, that's smart. I want to do that on my next one hour flight. I'm just like, take a whole blanket. Let's see.
Starting point is 00:37:25 It's not, it says on the sheet, it's tequila, but the shot we're taking tomorrow is not tequila, right? It's rum. It's the hottest shot no demand, though. Even better. I don't even, I don't even, I mean, I've had rum because I've had a pinia colada. Yeah. So it's like kind of tasty. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:37:39 I've only had it mixed in. things. You know how like different liquors are made of different grains or whatever? This is sugar. Sugar cane is rum. I get out some of the most bull crap emailing lists. Like I don't. And I try to unsubscribe and they still keep coming.
Starting point is 00:37:58 What do you got? Well, I get all these junk mail things from like my market digest. Stock market mastery with Charles Payne. Dear reader, my name is Charles Payne. You may have seen me host in Making Money with Charles Payne. And then I unsubscribe, and they send me another one the next day. Maybe I need to call Charles Payne himself. Yeah, maybe.
Starting point is 00:38:19 Dude, stop sending me these emails. Does your mailbox filter for you from promotions to social to primary? Somehow they don't. And I keep my email always on zero, or apply to it when I can. And it's pretty clean. My personal email is pretty clean. I don't get a bunch of junk mail. No ads.
Starting point is 00:38:36 I really stay pretty vigilant when making sure my super private email address isn't listed places? Oh, I am like, I get notifications every time that I am 96% I've used 96% in my email storage. I got 4% left. Nice. So I'm like, I need to go delete some stuff for having to not get emails because I'm going to run out of room. I got a guy on Modesto who uses my email for everything he does. Doctors appointments, Walmart returns. Is his name Eddie? I guess. I mean, they just say Mr. Garcia. and like everything he returns anything like mailing list he's on I get all his emails everything I wonder if he has your name or he just uses your name
Starting point is 00:39:18 but why would he just live as he's living as you or is that the place accidentally just through my email no but he has more stuff but you don't even know it yeah I got someone Starbucks gift card emailed to me accidentally Dear Amy and then it was a Starbucks gift card and it was from her sister I don't know Katie she's like can't wait to see you love Katie and I'm like
Starting point is 00:39:38 oh I feel so bad but I didn't know. Clearly, they entered it wrong. No, I mean, I don't even know how. It's from Starbucks, but I got the gift card and it was a gift. You had a gift. Well, I know, but that was a bummer. I was like, oh, card.
Starting point is 00:39:53 If you watched Squid Game, which I did, I started to be somewhat enamored with South Korean culture. I was like, this is pretty cool. Yeah. And so I told Mike D. to watch a couple of these South Korean movies to tell me if I would like them. And Mike, you watched the movie I recommended a taxi driver? Yes, and I think you'll love it. Based on a true story. Even though I struggle with the subtitles, did you watch it dubbed?
Starting point is 00:40:20 No, I watched it in Korean with English subtitles. Oh, it's tough for me. I started watching it. That's the way you got a taxi driver? Yeah, but I mean, I got like maybe 20 minutes in. I mean, so far so good. Yeah, you'll like it. Is it kind of a comedy, though?
Starting point is 00:40:33 Because at the very beginning it's like the guy's funny. It goes kind of being lighthearted to getting very serious. Okay, I'm not there yet then. What do you give it? I give it 4.5 out of five cab fares. And where can I find it? You can watch it on Amazon. It's free.
Starting point is 00:40:47 399? Well, we set up last night to watch Succession. We're like Sunday night, let's go. Episode 2, but it's live on Sunday night. We have to watch it today. So you're not watching football on Sunday nights? Well, I'm glad you asked. It's tough.
Starting point is 00:41:02 No. It's a balance. Right. If I'm going to watch the noon games and the 3 o'clock games, I have to give up. I don't have to. I'm not even asked to,
Starting point is 00:41:14 but I do give up the Sunday night game. Now, there is a period in between the end of the 3 o'clock games in the beginning of the 7 o'clock games where I can usually strategically fit something in. And then, like last night's game, Eddie got two players. He's going to beat me this weekend fantasy,
Starting point is 00:41:30 so I didn't really watch that much of it. Tonight's important, though. But I did turn it on at the very end after Caitlin went to sleep and watched the second half. And the weather was miserable last night. Oh, yeah. Is it going to be like that in Seattle tonight? Good question.
Starting point is 00:41:43 Mike, will you look up Seattle weather? Yeah, because last night they couldn't hold on the ball, Amy. I mean, it was fumble, fumble, fumble. It was crazy. I really need there to be bad weather tonight in Seattle. I got the field goal kicker. I got Seattle's kicker, so that would be good for you. Eddie's up seven points.
Starting point is 00:41:58 We'll say eight, seven and some points. Eddie's up eight points, and he has a kicker and a defense going. and I have Alma Camara. Did you see last night? What's the weather? What's your chance of rain? Let's see. percentage tonight.
Starting point is 00:42:11 Like 6 p.m. their time. Did I see what? Did you see the Tom Brady? What, no, no, no. So it was like 600 touchdowns. Is that right? Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:42:22 It's the record. And so the receiver gave the ball to someone in the crowd. So Mike Evans, who's Amy's checked out. No, I'm bringing you back in. No, I'm reading about Tom Brady gives young brain cancer survivor. That's a different story. I was going to tell you that one in a minute. Listen, this is good, Amy. This is a different story. And you check back in over here.
Starting point is 00:42:39 Okay. Reading about Tom. At one point, Tom Brady throws his touchdown. It's a big in his career. And the receiver, Mike Evans goes and gives it to a fan. And so they have to come back and get that ball back from the fan. And so they're negotiating with him. Yeah. And they're like, hey, what do you? He's like, can I get a date with Giselle? It's not funny.
Starting point is 00:42:55 I love it. What do they end up giving him? Because I saw the back and forth and I listened to the audio. Yeah, all I saw was the guy saying, like, well, Get you whatever you want. Just give me that ball back. And so they didn't get the ball back. And then at the end of the game, with like 33 seconds left, there's a kid sitting over by the Bucks bench,
Starting point is 00:43:11 probably like five up. And you can tell you've been through chemo because he didn't have any hair. And he had a sign up that was like, I beat brain cancer because of Tom Brady or something like that. And so Tom Brady walks over into the game and takes his hat off and gives it to him and like gives the kid, shakes his hand, like fist bump. And then the kid just starts crying.
Starting point is 00:43:28 It's awesome. It's awesome. How you Tom Brady haters can hug? I used to be a Tom Brady hitter. No need. You hate greatness. Not anymore. He keeps proving to me that he's the greatest.
Starting point is 00:43:38 You hate greatness if you hate Tom Brady. Or you hate the Patriots and then winning over and over again. Cool. I'm here. I was not checked out. I was reading about Tom Brady because I saw that story. So I went back to it because I was like, oh, maybe I could be in the no on this and I can have something to say about the boy with cancer.
Starting point is 00:43:57 But I'm glad y'all taught me all about it. And the 600 touchdown. We wouldn't expect that you didn't know anything about the sports thing. But I thought it was a heartwarming story. It definitely was. If you watch it, it definitely is. The forecast tonight, Saints at Seahawks, the heavy rain win from Monday Night Football Week 7.
Starting point is 00:44:12 No, that's what I want. No, I mean, you guys can fumble too. Yeah, but I'm not worried about it. Let's just run the ball. No passes. Run the ball. Let's go. Man, after that storm came in, though,
Starting point is 00:44:22 everyone was losing the ball. Nobody can hold onto the ball. My running back started losing yardage because it was so bad. If I win in fantasy tonight, which I'm probably not going to, because ESPN has me the big underdog here percentage-wise. I will come on this post show
Starting point is 00:44:36 and I will give away $100 to one of the listeners. If I win. If I win? Yeah. Oh, if you win. Yeah. What do you give away, Eddie? If I win, I will give away $100 to... Wait, why would I do this?
Starting point is 00:44:51 Nothing. I'm just doing it for a lot. Why would you give away money? I don't know. I'm not going to give anything away. Okay, there you go. Okay. There's anything else I want to do here. Ramundo says he got a gun pulled on. him. What?
Starting point is 00:45:04 I mean, he's like TikTok. When Bobby always says he's like TikTok, I'm always like, all right, where's the spin? Because it's the headline that always gets this. Go ahead, Ramundo. Yeah, sometimes I have busy weekends and the stuff just takes weeks to pan out. But anyways, all my boys were in town for the Bachelor party, and we're staying on Jefferson.
Starting point is 00:45:20 And I mean, I'd warn Billy, I said Jefferson is not good. I heard it's dangerous. But we still get a place on Jefferson. So let me tell you this. If you're a tourist, this is a PSA. There's very nice Airbnbs and Verbo. some of them are necessarily not in the nicest neighborhoods and we found that out so coming home at like 2 a.m. We're in a what was it? It was like an escalade XL so it was all massive.
Starting point is 00:45:42 We had the windows rolled down. We're trying to find the place. We could not find our verbos. So we're just creeping. I'm talking one mile an hour to a point where we're almost stopping. Dude comes out from his porch five feet from the vehicle and he goes, what are you boys doing around here? And the windows are all down. We had masks on.
Starting point is 00:46:00 So I mean, it almost kind of looked like we're going to rob the dude. And we go, oh, sir, we got a verbo, Texas bachelor party, drinking beers, shotgun. It's his final weekend before he gets married. Yeah, we're going back to the house. And he's like, you boys run along now. This ain't a good neighborhood. And he pulls out a Glock. In his hand, dude had a straight up gun.
Starting point is 00:46:20 And we're just like, windows of. We're trying to find them. And that was it. But noted, if you get a verbo, sometimes the neighborhood is ain't the nicest. the places are great, but be careful. So I don't know why Ray's talking to this Trace Actus-type voice. So weird. And a verbo is, yeah, VRVO, vacation rental by owner.
Starting point is 00:46:38 Secondly, why are you wearing masks all in a car? Because sometimes drivers make you. Oh, it was a, okay. Did he say he was, I know he said escalate. I didn't know if he said one of them was driving or not. Oh, no, I assume they probably just got a car for the weekend. Right, for the weekend, meaning the one of them would drive. Oh, I mean the driver.
Starting point is 00:46:54 Because they're drinking. You guys got to have a driver for a whole weekend? They're drinking. It's probably cheaper for all them to pitch in. or you can order a black car on Uber. That's what I would suspect. Yeah. Yeah, driver for a whole weekend would be like thousands of dollars.
Starting point is 00:47:04 I don't mean like on call whenever they want, but y'all had a plan, like a D, D and a nice car. No. It was an Uber. Sorry. Yeah. Sorry. I don't.
Starting point is 00:47:15 Ray's story seemed a little dramatized. I'm telling you, man. I mean, I mean, that's the thing. Uber, but he's like escalade blacked out. I tried to paint the picture. I think that's what we try to do, theater of the mind. Okay. Well.
Starting point is 00:47:28 Amy said her... Yeah. Go ahead. Go ahead. No, no, no. I was just saying, so that's my best reenactment of what went down. I just didn't think I was going to be seeing a Glock that weekend. So...
Starting point is 00:47:40 All right. And you found $10? No, that's it. Amy said our kids do not know how to handle CDs these days? No. Which I don't think kids know what CDs are really, right? Oh, mine clearly don't. It'd be like us with records. Oh, yeah. We didn't know what that was. Yeah. Yeah, I mean, it's just they're not used to it. They're not
Starting point is 00:47:57 used to handling it and they found a bunch of my CDs and they're just all rubbing them together and holding them like they're not going to scratch. And I just felt I needed to teach them. Like this is not how you do this. But they still, they just weren't used to it. So they were just careless with them. And it was like my George Strait box set from 1995. Straight from the box. Yes. And like I want to keep that. I want it in good condition. I don't want to put it in my CD player and it skip whenever I happened and maybe put it in my CD player. It's been a minute, but that DVDs, CDs, like, kids just have no idea. Like, we had to be so careful so that it wouldn't skip, and they don't have that problem.
Starting point is 00:48:34 Man, remember when you had the discman and then you had the adapter that was a cassette, a fake cassette that you put in the radio? And you had to hold it while you're driving because you wouldn't skip. It wouldn't skip. I remember jogging with a huge disc man. Like, I would be going on like a two-mile run in high school, and I would be holding a huge round CD player. And not just holding it.
Starting point is 00:48:54 Also being the shock absorber. Yeah. Because if you shook it too hard, it was going to skip. That's right. So you had to kind of like run like you're holding a bowl of soup. Yes. That doesn't spill. And then they would sell like the shock booster one that was really fat.
Starting point is 00:49:09 And it was like, this one doesn't skip. But then it skips eventually. Yeah, I put that on my car. My Subaru, I put it on a football practice. I got a big shock absorber. And then it would like shake, but it would still skip all the time. All right. I think that's it.
Starting point is 00:49:23 Mike, anything I missed? I think that's it. All right, hope you guys had a good weekend. Thanks for hanging out with the show. Eddie, do you want to shoot a pumpkin video with me real quick? Yeah. Pumpkin spice video? Special get...
Starting point is 00:49:32 Well, it's not all pumpkin spice. Some are just pumpkin flavored stuff. I'm in. I've got some cheesecake and pumpkin flavored cookies out there. Yummy! That we can try. Let's do it. Instagram, Mr. Bobby Bowens, if you're going to follow.
Starting point is 00:49:45 I just can't wait for October to be over so I can stop with these pumpkin videos. I've committed, so I'm going to finish out, but holy moly. And then I'll post a softball video today where I'm playing against the Utah softball team. I'm trying to hit off their best pitcher. And, man, I'll tell you that, she throws... Yeah, how fast she throw. So that mound is a lot closer than a pitcher's mount in baseball.
Starting point is 00:50:05 So it's equivalent. So when you watch the college softball world series, they go, this is blah, blah, blah, blah, baseball equivalent to blah, blah, blah. So the equivalent was like a 97-mile-an-hour baseball. Wow. It was like 60-something, but it's so close.
Starting point is 00:50:18 It's 60, that close is like 90 from a little farther away. So, but I'll post it. Probably like in the next 10 minutes. All right. See you guys. Have a good day. We'll see you tomorrow.
