The Bobby Bones post show pre-show. You know, I'm always the guy that goes, man, everybody stop overreacting about that one-hour time change. I don't know what it is. Like today, I've kind of been like this.

Exactly. I know. I feel it right now. But I don't know if it's from traveling for the last few days. Amy's yawning right now. Sorry. That hour. Or if it really is just from the end of the end.

hour. Waking up this morning is kind of weird. It was dark, but I love it when it's evening now. I can play basketball. I play basketball all day. Yeah, but then you're late for dinner. Like, dinner's like, oh my gosh, we haven't eaten. Like, what do we do? Are we all 12 right now? Your kids have to go down and it's harder to be like, okay, it's bedtime. Because it's more light outside. Yeah, and it's not summer yet. In summer, it's amazing. But we still got another what month and a half of school. All I'm thinking about is I can play golf now. Oh, yeah. In the night? Yeah, because it was getting dark. I like four 30 or 5 o'clock at some point.

And if we're working until 12, 12, 30 or something, it's harder to actually go out and play. Maybe we won't ever have to deal with the time change again. Would love it at that past. Just would be amazing. I'm sure it would, right? It would be. I would want to leave it like this. Let's just leave it like this forever.

So this would be the one? This would be the one. And our bodies don't. Yeah. Yeah, because you don't want to be the early dark one. In the winter, it'll change anyway a little bit just because of where we rotate on the sun and the earth's axle, stuff like that.

Axel? Axis, I think, right? Stuff like that. Yeah. Yeah, Axis. But you do feel a bit. Yes, I felt wonky. Going to bed last night was hard, and then waking up this morning was difficult.

I haven't played golf in months. Like months and months. But we're going to do this thing where I'm playing, supposed to be playing in some pro, I don't know, I'm not good golfer by any means. And a pro am, which I've never played before with like the pro golfers. You know what pro am means?

professional amateurs. Nice. Thank you. And so you give them your handicap and then you go get matched up with a pro. I think Eddie's going to come catty for me. It's going to be awesome. This thing in Dallas. It's a big event that I'm going to do.

But I'm not good. And I need to practice. So do you know who your pro will be? No, I don't think you know. I think still it's probably like 80% going to happen. We're kind of waiting to see if COVID allows them to have the pro M. But it's in May, right? Late May.

Yeah. And they canceled one that was a pro M in February. So that didn't happen. But I could understand a late May when happening. Yeah, I can too. Especially when they're saying everybody should have the vaccine by May 1st. Because once everybody has the option to get it, it's game on. Open it up.

Rock and roll. If you have the option, you don't get it, that's on you. That's your choice. I'm not going to make you get it. What am I to walk around and stab you in the arm? Of course not. But once everybody has the option, let's go. Maryland's doing something.

I do agree with their governor where they've opened things up, but they're still wearing masks. Like it was the happy medium of what Texas didn't do. Texas is like, you know what, no masks. Heck, no pants. Everyone's like, okay. But it's like, let's walk and then jog before we sprint, right? Because if you don't jog in between walking and sprinting, you'll pull a muscle and you've got to start all over and you're injured for a while.

Warm up. Yeah, warm up a little bit. So, yeah, hoping I can play that. I have a buddy or a new friend that could kind of train me to get married for the pro M. Yeah. I just don't want to go embarrass myself. The guy that we met? Well back?

Yeah, he's good. He's real good. I text Jay going, and I was like, hey, man, I'm playing a pro ham. Is this going to be embarrassing for me? He goes, dude, everybody sucks out there. Oh, okay. I was like, let's go then. Because he does the Pebble Beach one every year.

Yeah, he plays the big one. Last night, Dan and Shay won a Grammy for Best Duo Performance, Country Music, Duo, a group. So I texted them. This is how their phone must have been blowing up. I texted them. I said, congrats, boys, nobody great. I put a trophy at 4.37 p.m.

Because it was one of the early awards that was announced. Dan texted me back at 745 this morning. Yeah. Either they had so many texts or they went so hard last night. And then at 10-12, Shea, about three hours behind him was like... Yes. Because Shea goes harder than Dan. So, yeah, that makes sense.

I'm not shocked by that order. Were they in... I don't think they were in California, though. Yeah, they were here. But they must have just been blown up with text. To the point, I've only had a couple times in my life where I've been so blown up with text for a reason or two where you're just like, I can't even... I'm not even going to look at that for a while.

Dancing with the stars? Well, one bad, one good. My mom died. and then Dancing with the Stars, a good one. Where Dancing with Stars is like down, I have like 380 texts. Amazing. And so you're just copying and pasting going, hey, appreciate that man.

And you're sending man to somebody that's not even man. I have no idea who it is. Yeah, I get it. Yeah. So, congrats to those guys. We talk about that coming up in a little bit. I do want to talk to Mike D for a second. Mike D paid for Paramount Plus,

which is a streaming service. I don't even know what that is. Yeah, so when they were, like, advertising you're in the Super Bowl. Oh. Yes, I missed it. Was Beavis and Butthead on that one? Yeah, Beavis and Butthead. All the MTV shows, all the old-school Nickelodeon shows.

They have live TV. And you bought it. I got it. I've had it for a week. I kind of like it because I grew up on those 90s Nickelodeon shows. So I've been watching, like, those. What does it cost? It costs, uh, 10 bucks a month with no ads and then six bucks with ads.

And they're also going to have new movies like 45 days after they come out in theaters. So that's really why I wanted it. Circle Network is now on Peacock. Oh, it is?

That's cool. Because I do the Opry show over there. And for a long time, it was streaming. It was on everywhere. It was like setting all these streaming records. But now Peacock has picked it out. That's cool. So I watch the office on Peacock every night.

And now you can just go pooh-poop and find Circle. Pretty crazy. We're on a big streaming service now. Love it. So, watch them fire me now. Now that we've made it. So, all right, Mike, thank you very much. Did you watch the, was you talking about the Paris Hilton documentary?

Yes, I started it. I'm about halfway through. It's really interesting. Like, I, you know, you just, I've always had this perception of her, but it's what she wanted us to see. And so it's interesting to see, like, her sister talk about how she really is and her mom. Do you believe it, though? Because they're making this documentary, right?

She now can show you what she wants you to see. Right. It seems believable to me. And then maybe like some of the stuff she's gone through that made her want to create this side of her that's not her. She kind of, I don't know. You'd have to watch it. I find it interesting so far. And then of course, I have another level of like compassion for her and empathy and trying to understand like what it was like for her at times.

and then like Kim Kardashian's on there too saying oh yeah I would not be here if it wasn't for Paris and you think of the domino effect of like people that were around her that now I mean look at Kim Kardashian and then the Kardashians and all the sisters and then her little sisters and like all the things that came from that like you're not done though yet not done but I'm into it I didn't even know it was up it's on it came out it came out last September oh it didn't just come out no it came out and so I was like how did I miss this? Talking about the Britney Spears documentary. It's got an 88% positive on Rotten Tomatoes.

It's called This Is Paris, a 2020 documentary. I still want to watch the Britney one, but I can't steal someone's password. For Hulu. Oh, Hulu. I'm right here. Me and Amy, we both have it. What else is on Hulu that I could justify? Everything.

What? I can buy that episode by episode on Amazon. Okay, but if you buy it, episode by episode, wouldn't you rather just pay for Hulu? Yeah, it's a great point. Right. You could pay for your, because I'm sure it's a $1.99. I'm not even caught up on Handmaid's Tale anymore. I got season 3, I was just like, eh.

It didn't feel like it was that good anymore. Okay. What about don't, oh, no, that's the Amazon. Mike is showing me stuff here now. It starts getting confusing. Well, you see, we use Hulu because I don't have cable anymore. So we use Hulu live as our, like, how my husband has watched sports. And so maybe if you just cut your cable, there you go, incentive. I mean, they have, oh, they have American Idol on Hulu.

Well, there you go. Hey, SEC networks on Hulu, all that. Yeah, but I have it. I know, but I'm just saying. Shane. Live TV. I'm back on American Idol starting next week, which is great. I didn't get to go to the auditions because I was shooting my show, but I'm back next week. So on Sunday you're in? On Sunday, I'm in. And then we go and shoot, we go to Hollywood. Hollywood. No one calls it that. I don't call it that. I'm an idiot. Hollywood week is next week, but I'm saying I go to LA to shoot again in a couple weeks. So I'm back working as well, which is good. I won't get as injured on that show. Oh, good. Like, I won't be completely exhausted when I finish shooting, which I bet Caitlin is pumped about. We were excited. We wrapped our show.

show. And so we were just like, man, it's been since July of last year. Do y'all do like a rap party? You would think, right? This is what happened. Well, full transparency here. I'm rapping the show. I really had a great run with that whole team. And who knows? Hopefully they renew. I won't know until probably June or July. The show airs May 31st. And so we go through and it is a hard show for me physically, but it was a hard show for our camera guys, too. There are three of them. The same ones every show? Every week. Yeah, we Our crew is our crew. And they have to quarantine every week.

They go and they stay in a hotel for a couple of days before we go out. It's extremely COVID-protected. We don't have to miss any episode because of COVID because it's such a good job. And so we go over and our camera guys, they have such difficult work. They have to climb places. They're in cranes. They're staying up late at night to get the sun going down, the sun coming up. Because it's a Nat Geo show before it goes to Disney Plus.

And so I got those three guys nice watches as the thank you at the end of the season. To be like, hey, you guys worked as hard as anybody. So those three gave him their gift. The sound guy is there every week. Same guy. We have two producer crews. One comes out while another one prepares the next city. So we have a rotating crew of producers that go back and forth.

Well, one's preparing. One's on set with me, you know, in whatever city we're in. But the same sound guy travels. I got him a nice watch. And then I got our show runner who's the guy that's running the show, Jeff, got him a really, really nice gift. And then I got the whole crew backpacks, and I had the Breaking Bobby Bones logo, put on them from the show had to you know get it all figured out and and I do this whole thing I'm like hey whatever appreciate you guys to give a little speech because it's great I was super

happy to end it but I was really happy to start it too it was a whole whole fun process and I finished and I was kind of like okay time to go and I was like okay where's my thing from you from anybody production company network yeah how about all the people there together maybe they got me a little cake or something I don't know and I was like all right and they're like all right see you later. Okay. And then I walked off and got in the car and went home.

You do get your name on the show. I got that. I just thought that'd be like a cake or something. I almost died. Maybe it was episode one airs. But it was the last time we were all going to be together. I literally thought there was going to be something. And maybe that's wrong of me.

But I was like, I felt moved enough because I wanted people to know I appreciated them. And I guess I just wasn't, nobody appreciated it. Maybe they're just busy. I'm busy Trying to get it all done I told Caitlin I was like

You know what? I was surprised It wasn't even like a You know A cupcake ceremony or something Is that normal Does the star normally gift the crew I don't think so

Okay Listen I don't know They're not used to that Dude they're like When I told them They were like You're buying They're like usually

Usually the production company Will do something small Like a t-shirt or something And I was like no Listen It's a lot of hard work I want to recognize That you guys

have just been killing it and then I just thought I'd get like a milkshake or something. I didn't get anything. I have no idea what's... Maybe it's in the meal. Uh-huh? And I'm sure there's going to be like something sent, right? But I just thought our last time altogether,

maybe I'm just a romantic this way, that we would have had, you know, milk and cookies. Something. Cake with your face on it. But nothing. You know what, I'm over my face. I'm all good on my face. Okay.

I'm good on that. But yeah, we close that up. Super pumped. Hopefully it gets renewed. If it doesn't, it was still a great experience. Four people in Michigan are splitting the $1 billion-dollar lottery prize. Oh, my gosh.

Something was it a billion? Oh, there have been a couple of them, right? Yeah, it was a few months ago. We were doing it on the show. Oh, I know, but I mean, I didn't know. Normally we hear, I didn't know, because normally we get in on it. The names Michigan.

They just came forward. Yeah. This wasn't a current when they just came forward to say who they were. We were in on this one, I think. Yeah, yeah. This is the one. I was ready to buy an island. I was retiring.

You guys would never hear from me again. Okay, here I am. Now I'm tracking what you're saying. The names of the four people who won the $1.05 billion mega-million's jackpot have been released. Now, here's where the story gets interesting. Michigan lottery official said the four people belong to an Oakland County lottery club called the Wolverine FLL Club.

Quote, a club member saw the sign that the jackpot was up to $1 billion, remember they hadn't bought their ticket yet. So they pulled into Kroger. The group chose to receive the prize in a lump sum payment of 776 million. Golly. After taxes, the club will take home 557 million. The winning ticket was purchased at a Kroger in Novi, Michigan.

Kroger received a $50,000 bonus commission. That's awesome. Before them, we're going to get over $100 million. So this is a lottery club? It's like a group of people. Lunchbox, you didn't get in on one of those. I know. I don't know anybody that does the Wolverines. You can start one. That's incredible. I mean, just.

Didn't you for a minute get with the group? I did used to be in a club. Some listener hit me up and I did it for like four months and we never won anything. And how would they make sure that was legit? I'd send them my money and they would send us photocopy pictures of all of our... I would send you a picture.

I would wonder, because if I was this guy and I bought this at Kroger and didn't tell anybody, I'd be like, yeah, this wasn't for the club. I bought this for me. And I think once you're in the club, you can't buy separate tickets. If you're the leader of the club, if you're the running the... Is there a contract? Because otherwise, what are you doing? Handshake rule?

Oh, okay. Lottery Club oath? What's that worth? The Knick? What's that worth? The cupcake that didn't get in my rap party? Or $1 billion. Isn't that crazy?

That is. It's so crazy. You have to take pictures of it, I guess, in the club. Yeah, that's why they would do it. They would photocopy all of them and email them out. And how do they not remember to do it? If the whole thing is being in the lottery, like if that's what your whole club's about and you're like,

oh, we haven't bought tickets to this $1 billion one. Well, it doesn't sound like very big. Four people in a club is not, I mean, but it worked. Gosh. I'm happy for them. So is this an Amy hoax, or is it the real deal? And I actually saw this again on Instagram yesterday. One of our stations in Austin had posted a picture of a rat, like a string on a door handle at a car.

Because you know how you have these hoaxes all the time where they're like, if there's a baby crying on your porch, don't answer it. It's a gang member. Yeah, they're real. If there's a baby on my porch, I'm going to answer it immediately and save the baby. Right. That's what you're supposed to do. You know how many babies been left on Amy's porch since you never saved them? Because she thought those gangs.

Okay, what is it? So they say if there's something on your door handle, people are putting that there. So you're distracted when you get to your car, then they attack you. Smart. What do you mean smart? Smart of them to distract you so they can attack you. As a TikTok thing.

But the thing that I saw was like it's not true. What have you seen? I've seen that it's not true, but people are putting it out there. So if you see something tied on your string, you're supposed to go back inside and call 911 because they're waiting for you to untie it off your door handle, and that's when they get you. and everything I read is it's not real.

It's just TikTok line to you. Okay, well, now the idea's out there. I need to start a fake scam like this. Someone might do it. Anytime you see someone blink at you three times, that means if you turn your back, they're going to stab you. It's just some poor guy with someone in his eye.

It's got dust in there. The weirdest thing is go viral on TikTok. Sometimes someone will just do a reaction video to something, and they're just making, like, oh, wow. A million views. It didn't do crap. I know. This internet's crazy.

The ones that get me are the ones that say, wait for it and then you wait for it and nothing happens. I'm like, they got me with just those words. On TikTok? Yes. That's funny. How long do you wait for it? It's a minute. So should I download it again? It's up to you. I don't think you're missing anything. It's been my favorite place for a year

because it's just funny. Okay, we'll see. I was watching this one, this kid that I follow. It's super funny on TikTok. His dad's like, he just does really awkward things. And his dad's like, hey man, you want to play catch? And he's like, oh, dad, yeah, he goes, all right, get the mitt.

And the next thing you know, it shows I'm just throwing the mitt back and forth. That's funny. So stupid. How many people come up with that? And I don't follow that many people on TikTok. Mostly, I just like the For You page. Let's see here. Have you hashtag For You page?

Because I see a lot of those that go viral. Does that help you? I had to hashtag the For You page? You do? Yeah. I just do hashtag FYP, but I don't know that it matter. Here's who I follow. I follow 16 people.

John Mayer, I think he's funny, but the Taylor's for people kill him on that thing. They crush them. They do? Because they dated? Well, because it just wasn't a good, but they're on him pretty good over there. Part of my take, Edwin McCain, Stay Goofy, which is that kid I was talking about. Brandon Ray. That Jacks writes songs.

You ever see her? She does the response, like if... Oh, yes, I've seen her. Like the guy's version of before he cheats. Yeah. Like his response to that. I follow her on Instagram and she's, that's cool because she brings her to talks over to her Instagram because they're

funny. She was on Ellen. She had a record though. Oh, really? From TikTok. So I found her. I follow producer Eddie. Oh, nice. Mike Seines. Kately I follow Amy, but you're still here. Because I deleted the app, but I'm still a member. It says Radio Amy 7, but her name is DeShira. Did she change that?

That's hilarious. She met her name? Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay, I need to go back in there. What's the picture? Her? It's you two together. Oh, okay. So it confuses people. I might download it again.

I thought for a while there was dangerous or something. Is it not anymore? I mean, China's already got me, I guess. Okay. At this point, China's got me. Let's see here. Anything else I wanted to mention? I'm also, I don't know what to do with this post-show, pre-show.

It's not even that anymore. Ray brought up a good point. It's not a pre-show. It's just an extra clip. You know? That we do at the end. Do we just put it at the... I don't like it in the feed as a second clip because it's just difficult.

Unless it's like 20 minutes almost not even worth listening to. Yeah, I think we should title it differently. Or do we put it at the back end of the main feed? One. You're the genius. I'm not. I didn't want to put it by itself anyway. But it is what it is. Do we put it at the back end or leave?

We're not. We're not. But we got to figure out of something to do or we're just not going to do this anymore. That's good idea. I like the post show, though. I like that we just get to sit here and ramble and there's no time limit.

But sometimes I want to go home. The post show, well, what was the post show pre-show, feels like our show used to be kind of, back in the day. And it's a, you know, give-take because we add so many new markets all the time. We could never do this show on the regular radio because we'd have all the new listeners going, who are these people that just keep talking? Right. Right.

When we were on in six or seven cities, when the show first started, we played a song an hour maybe. And we just came on and talked for five hours. We couldn't do that now because we'd have terrible, terrible ratings in places that were new. And new affiliates would be like, we're not going to put you on because all you do is talk. We need some sort of balance. And then you peel it back. And then once we know you, it gets longer. But we just are never in that.

Because we have 160 or 170 affiliates, you know. So how many? I don't know. You just said a number. It's like 100. I don't know because I don't. With count down is like over 200. Someone was asking me that one night, a friend was asking me that.

And I honestly didn't know. And I was like my first number was like 40. Oh, no, it's over 150. I know. That's where we first got here. We bumped to 40. But I just kind of like to live in that realm of that. It's not that many people because then it makes me nervous.
