This post show is recorded actually like five hours after it normally is because Mike D and I stopped over. We are on a radio studio in Los Angeles again. We finished the show this morning. I got on a plane. We are here. So I'm a little tired, but I'm ready to post show it up. Why are you tired? Do you fly? Did you take a plane? Well, here's what happened. First of all, we get on the flight.

What did you ask me? I'm like, what, did you fly yourself? You're on a plane. You're sitting down the whole time. Why are you tired? Because it's a five-hour flight. You have to go to the airport. You've got to be on a plane. You've got to get in the line. It's stressed out. It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. I'm exhausted. It's a long flight. I had a watch on and I have a hurt pinky finger. And my wrist was swollen up to where I watch was felt tighter and my pinky finger that I've jammed or I think may possibly broken.

It just throbbed the whole time. I'm dehydrated. What kind of question is that? You know when you fly, you get tired. Yeah, I was just messing with you. A couple things I wanted to mention. Now I'm off my track. You know, we talked about, Caitlin and I were talking about, I still stand by the fact that I think 90s country is the best, right? And I only think that, though, because that's when I grew up. But I think a lot of people who grew up in the 80s think 90s country is the best. But I asked Caitlin, I said, hey, what was it for you? And she's like, oh, man, 2000s countries, where it's at.

And I'm like, what are you talking about? And so she starts listing all these songs from Josh Turner, who's good, right? But Josh Turner, Easton, Corbyn, Chris Cagle. And she's like, and my favorite Tim McGraw song, she's my kind of rain. And it was like, that's your favorite Tim McGraw song? She's like, there's not a song better. Here, here you go. So I had her text, Eddie.

I was like, you need text Eddie your thoughts on this. Yeah, bad call. And you, because I said, Eddie's the biggest Tim McGraw fan. Love him. And I don't think this is one of his best 20 songs. She's like, you're out of your mind. And so. Oh, I'm funny story about that.

I got a funny story about that too. Okay. But go ahead. And what did you receive? respond to her? Never heard of it. Because I mean, I love Tim McGraw, but I never heard of this song. Like, give me some Indian Outlaw.

Give me some, uh, something like that. I like it. I love it. Anything, but this one, I don't know this song. She's like, no, this is his best work. She knows every word to it. She was singing random Chris Cagle songs to me on the airplane. What's ridiculous, though, is you guys, like, you guys are arguing about something.

And then she texts me out of the blue. I don't know you guys are arguing about it. So then I just respond. It's a conversation between me and her. And I say, no, I've never heard of that song. She rolls her eyes and says, I can't believe it. It's one of the best songs ever. And then get another text from Bones on the other side.

He's like, don't listen to her. She thinks that 2000s country is better than 90s country. I'm like, okay, now I'm in the middle of a fight. Like, honestly, I feel like 2000s country is kind of poop. I kind of lost it at that. 2000s country is when I kind of like took a break from country music. There was a whole like eight or nine years where I'm like, this is not good. There's some good stuff that came out of it.

Like there are good songs, but in general I was just like, I don't think it has an identity right now. Not that I loved whenever it got really bro-y as well, but at least I understood what the identity was. But yeah, I definitely am not a fan of her favorite part. But then we started like finding compromises, like Billy Corrington. Amazing. That guy, no, that get, no, underrated as an artist, has so many hits. He's the guy that you go, oh, he sings that? Yeah.

Oh, he sings that? Over and over again. Like Billy Currington, underrated. But that was one of the conversations. Now, you mentioned Australian. Fun fact. I was on the airplane with, let's play a game, Eddie. See if you can figure out what two artists I was on the plane with.

Okay. They are brothers. Oh, they're brothers? Mm-hmm. Well, this isn't it, but I thought of the Swan Brothers. They're not Australian, but they're Australians. Australian brothers. Wow.

Liam and Hemsworth? No, they're artists. They're artists, you dope. Okay, so, wait, Seaforth, they're Australian, but they're not brothers. Right. So that's not them. Honestly, I don't even know who they already. I'll be honest with you.

Keith and Tom. Oh, Keith and Willie Urban. Keith and his brother. Do you know for King and Country? Oh, yeah. I do know them. Yeah. They're cool.

Yeah, they were sitting right behind me. And he's like, oh, you Bobby Boats? Or maybe it wasn't exactly like that. Maybe I knew a guy that was riding with them. And then we, he was like, hey, everybody has masks on. So you don't even know who anyone is. And he's like, oh, boy, whatever it was. He made some Australian noises and we talked.

He said, shrimp on a Bobby or something. He was with his wife. He's out of back. He's friends with like Amy or something. He's friends with like Amy or something. Yes, he goes, I know you co-host Amy. But their first cousin is Amy's pastor. Oh, that's what it is.

Small bone is their name. Their last name. Oh, the brothers. Tiny bone. Tiny bone or small bone? Small bone, yeah. Their last name is small bone. It's not miniature bone.

It's not wee bone. No, flu on the airplane with them. They're really nice guys, right? They were to me. Yeah, well, I met them, I think it may be like a CMA thing or whatever, Talk to them for just a second. They seemed really nice. Yeah.

I mean, they were to me. That's all matters. Otherwise, yeah. How was your weekend? A weekend was good. Very relaxing. We had a couple of baseball games canceled. So that kind of opened it up for a lot of stuff.

The weather was bad on Saturday, so. But then it got better. So we just kind of hung out. We played golf and went fishing and stuff. Isn't that a metaphor for life? What? And then it got better. Yeah, well, you know, it's rough.

But then it got better. What did you do? We talked about it on the show. You know, we were at the beach in Florida, and it rained the whole time. Tornado warning. You'll hear me talk about it if you listen to the show. It's awful.

Except it was great, but it was just a different... We had fun because we stayed in the... Our friend has a house on the beach. We just stayed there, and we watched movies, and we watched TV, and it was good. We still went and ate at restaurants and stuff, so it was good, but I know she really wanted to go to the beach. I'm not a beach guy,

but I kind of owed her a weekend of... of not work. And then, as soon as we're back, I grab her, we get on an airplane, we come back to work again. Yeah.

But. Your life? Yeah, at least for the next few weeks. I do, I have this week here on Idol with the top 12, which by the way, Luke Brian has COVID.

We'll talk about on the show tomorrow, I'm sure, because it broke after the show is over today, but Luke has COVID and Paul Abdul is going to replace him tonight. I will not be on tonight. I start tomorrow with the top 12 recording stuff.

but so it is top 12 and then they have a different kind of episode that I came in for we already recorded that one where we see some some cool people from the past I don't know if I can reveal that fully and then I do like four live episodes and it's over and then I have no traveling until

honeymoon, late late summer. It's great. And so I'm home, I'm not going to know what to do with myself. So weekend, Ramundo, what did you guys do? Let's see I had my COVID shot which kind of put me out of commission on Saturday but I still to do some, I'm kind of doing some modeling again, getting back into that.

So I was all around town doing a bunch of modeling shoots. What? What? Yeah. This apparel company, they came to me and they said, hey, would you like to do some modeling for us? You know, we can potentially do some designs that you would maybe sell later on in the future. But if you would model for free, do you want to do it? And I said, yeah.

So, I mean, I was all over Nashville on Saturday feeling like crap. But other than that, it was, and then we went and watched the Masters, and that was a wrap. I need to know more about this modeling. So we were in alleys. We were in on top of the pedestrian bridge. A bunch of different location shoots. It was t-shirts, sweatshirts, hats. Me just looking like, I mean, basically they want the six-pack and that's exactly what they got. So. Six-pack? Of abs. You have a six-pack?

You have a six-pack? Yeah. Let me see. Is it a camera a zoom? Yes. It's a photo shoot. I don't know. It's a sad face to me. The Ray, that's not, listen.

It's bad lighting. You need oil. But yeah, I mean... I mean, listen, I don't have a six-pack. And I'm not saying this from the point of making fun of you at all. But when you scream, hey, I'm seven-foot-tall and you show up in your, you know, six-eight, people are going to go, hey, you're not...

It's not exactly what you said you were, you know? I saw, like, something that looked like a kidney bean or a kid, like, on one side. But, I mean, honestly, I dieted for the shoot, but since then I've eaten pizzaed ice cream last night. I mean, what do you expect? Oh, okay. And that was this weekend.

Well, yeah, I was money on Saturday. And I combined that with the vaccine. I hadn't eaten all day. So, yeah, I was basically like six Pakistan. Yeah. Six Pakistan? Yeah. What's it talking about?

And what's the end goal for the shoot? So basically, I've worked for free. I was on somebody else's time. And, I mean, they had me sitting in hotel lobbies waiting around. Bay was there as my personal assistant. I got her ironing shirts. It was pretty rinky dink, but they said, hey, we'll do some designs of like your logo. If you have a logo, if you want your name on shirts, we'll do that.

Do you have a logo? I'm about to. So I said, you know what? You're going to have a logo? Yeah! Oh, Ray has shirts that he's selling with his, yeah, on it. Okay. Yeah, so that's the thing.

I can say it. Yeah. Y'all can. It's $5. I can say it all I want. I'm going to start saying it. But the merch, I mean, they promised. me that. So let's see a couple weeks. Let's see if

they hold up their end of the bargain. And I got some shirts and sweatshirts rocking around Nashville and America, who knows? How is cameo going? Oh my gosh. That is a full-time job in and of itself. People want the details so they'll say birthday, Ray Bay, Bay, Cat, we want it at your apartment.

We want it in the studio. Then you've said to start making them longer. So next thing you know, I'm doing a minute and a half, two minutes, Bay is getting her makeup done. Every night right now, we're swamped with cameos. We're probably six behind right now on deadlines. Because if you don't do them in time, you don't get paid and you get, I believe, demerits. So we got to stay up on those. But, dude, the business has never been better. Oh, you must be not doing too good. You only have 4.9 stars.

No, let me, let me see. Ray, I'm looking at me a picture of your shirt. This is your, yeah. Is this the one? Yeah. It might be a mock-up. I mean, not guaranteed if that's the horse that goes to market, but we'll see. Why is a horse going to market? Figuratively speaking. Like you're going to butcher a horse? No, I'm saying the shirt. I don't know. I mean, at the press line,

I haven't seen exactly what comes out. Those are just things I think they designed on the computer. How many cameos do you think you've done in the past week? We have done 40. Dang. Yeah. And we're behind, so we could easily be 50 by the end of the night. Okay, let's just do 50.

And your price is how much? 25 bucks. Wow. All right. That's a major cash. They take a cut, though, I'm telling you. There's different things if they book it on the web. He should take a cut.

Well, it's just fine, but I'm just saying, I mean, sometimes I put a ton of stuff in it. I'm like, great, we got eight bucks for that. How did, I mean, Cameo cleaned up. But it's all about booking. They can get a deal. They get a this off, that off. So it's weird how the math figures out. So you made $300 and something dollars?

Maybe a tad more than that. $3,000? No, no, no, no. Hold on a minute. Mike's trying to show me a calculator thing. What is it? That's how much they took out. So, they took out $3,000.

How much did they make? Cameo made 312 off of them. Okay, and then what did Ray and Bay make? Minus that. 50 at 25 bucks. Crunch in the numbers. We're taking out the fee too. 937.

You made $1,000, Ray off Cameo. I got the number right here. We didn't, but... If you're doing 50 at $25, and then Mike's pulling out the fee, that's what that is. Then whatever Camio puts online isn't exactly how it goes down,

because I ain't got $1,000 in the account. I'm looking at it right now. What'd you make? $6.57. Okay, but you said you have 10 more coming up and we counted that in. Well, then I didn't total that. So you haven't done it yet.

Dang baller. But it'll die off. It was just because we pumped it on the show and stuff. Are you happy to do them when they come in? Are you excited? Honestly, I feel like when the camera comes on, that's when I shine. Bay jumps in does her little thing. I handle the lion's

share of it. And I feel like they get a good product. And if we can wish somebody a happy birthday, there you go. If that's what makes your birthday, you know what? Be my guest. What do you guys do with the money? I'll have to ask Bay. She handles the finances. I don't touch that. Did you guys just re-sign at your apartment?

That's what I heard. So some pretty big news. Oh. We did re-sign. What is happening? I don't know. I literally just heard. I didn't know how you had all thing queued up like a whole,

thanks for asking everybody. Oh, go ahead. It was a pretty high in-demand apartment because we do have the penthouse view. Everybody was asking because we post it and they say, we want that. We're the river and the woods. and all that. It's so beautiful. We want other people to book it. And we had a week to do it.

And we finally, we called the management and said, another year, you know what, pool parties, bay in a bikini. Let's go. Let's do it for another year. So another year, no house in the country, which is the goal? Yeah, we're still, her dad's, we're trying to find some land. Then he's, if he's gracious enough to have the time to build a house and then we'll purchase it from him, not exactly that on the price. But hopefully we'll be ready in a year.

We've got to save up more funds. We don't honestly have that much in savings right now. Okay. Can I suggest you raise your cameo by five bucks or something? Or more? Yeah! At the same time, I don't want a price gouge. It's not a gouge if people don't have to have it.

Yeah. Like if there's a hurricane and you raise prices of gas, that would be a gout. People have to have gas, right? Mm-hmm. If there's a pandemic and you're blowing up the price of toilet paper, that's a gouged. If it's just supply and demand, raise the price five bucks. Yeah, and we could, but I felt, at the same time that's more pressure. They've got to be spot-on cameos. With 25, I feel like

sometimes they don't have to be A-plus work and people love them. I mean, it's a discount. It's a good price, 25 bucks, present, good to go. I'd suggest you raise it to 30. That's all I'm saying. Okay, stop yelling yeah if you're not going to do it. He yells yeah, then argues against me. I don't know what that's about. No, I don't either. We can pump it up. Just take it to 30 bucks. I'm telling you, we had it at 35. We didn't get one request. Can't you take cameo out of the whole thing and just do it yourself? But how are you getting the money, right? You could, like...

Venmo. Right, but how are you going to promote that, right? I mean, get on your Instagram and say, hey, you want a video? I'll send you a video. I feel like that's the same thing. Absolutely, you could. No doubt about it. Let me know how that goes, Eddie.

I'm not doing it. I'm just saying. Of all the people, Eddie's the one that just outsmarted cameo. Out of all the numbers you've read, I feel like cameo takes half of your money. But they do with a promotion. They have it built on a site so people can look and see what you're doing. But the promotion is just a lot. list that you're on, right? True, but it's also like if you type in, if you, let's say you go look for

me. I'm not on there. Like, you're like, I wonder, Bobbone's going to be there. Nope, but guess what? The Ray Moon who is. Oh, how about that? And I can look at some other ones he's done for people. And, you know, they have the system of Ray doesn't have to text somebody and give Ray, right, right, has to give him their, his phone number. But yes, I agree. You could do it that way, Eddie, but it's easier to do it this way if you're okay with the cut. Also, Ray, do you do the DMs? I saw some people say you can DM for like two bucks. I mean, I've been DMing for free. I can't all of a sudden start charging people.

I like that. Yeah, that was a weird one. I mean, what are you going? Hey, what's up? $5. I mean, I don't get it. People actually charge for that. Yeah, and I don't know.

Mike, what do they get in that? Do you know? I don't know. If they DM? Like, you don't have to get a response, right? This doesn't look like it. Do you see that where it's like $2.99 for a DM? Yeah, I think you do like a FaceTime too.

Oh, like a, is it cost more? Yeah, you can do live with them. I bet that would be more. Oh man I'd see someone would show me their wiener and I'd be like, stop it!

Oh boy because I used to get on that chat roulette remember that? No, what? I was in college? What was that? Where you just get on

and everybody's on and you just hit a button and you go to somebody else and you can talk it's like the roulette the roulette table but then it just started to be you click a button

and see somebody's wiener you get off of it click a button and see somebody's winner terrible. Movie Mike's movie podcast this week Mike is talking about unpopular movie opinions

mine is that home alone is not a Christmas movie it's a movie at Christmas but you can have the home alone and put on any holiday. So that's my unpopular opinion. What are some other ones, Mike? That Forrest Gump is overrated.

That is not. It's dumb. Yeah. What else? That Quinn Tarantino movies aren't that great. That's dumb. They're genius. They're genius. You know what? Some of them hit and some of them don't with me. Sometimes I'm like, hey, you don't have to always be to try to be the smartest, weirdest guy.
