Here's your host, Bobby Bones. Hello, friends. It's been a while since we've been able to do a post show. We've just been moving and shaken.

What? Been moving and shaking. Yeah. Been busy. And then it gets to be about noon and we're like, we're tired. 100 for a nap. Honestly, we're exhausted. But we're back for an extra post show today.

Mike D., who we did talk about your wedding in the regular show. Yeah. Did your, what, is it weird to call her wife? I'm not used to it, yeah. Even I was about to go wife and I was like, is that right? Yeah, wife sounds so official. real. It would take me a while to get used to it. Are you having any second thoughts now or no?

No, no. Did you wake up feeling different? I do feel different because there's just this feeling of it having the official title now and being legally bound that feels, it just feels more real is the only way I can describe it. It's also harder for her to break up with you now. Yeah, like we're attached. We're legally bound. She can't just leave.

Yeah, as I see it with Caitlin. When we get married, it's going to be a lot harder for her to break out with me. Yeah. He's got to jump through a few more hoot. It's like a guard is down some kind of way. We were sitting at our table at Mike's wedding. It was me, Caitlin, Eddie, his wife, our friend Amad and his wife. And they were like, Amad's like, dog, you got to be with somebody for the rest of your life.

Like, is that crazy to you? And I'm like, no, it feels okay. I'm worried about her not wanting to be with me more than I am. Me not wanting to be with her. Or sometimes you just check in and go like, hey, still, you still like me? I do that now. Like, are we still good? You still...

She has to like you. You still like one you see? But yeah, congratulations, man. Thank you. And you're not... You are or you aren't wearing your ring. I am. What is it?

What is it? It is just like a tungsten ring. It's straight up. What color is it? It's like a dark gray, like charcoal. I don't know what tungsten means. It's the material, I guess. Oh, it's not a brand?

No. Is it hard? Yeah, it's pretty hard. Well, congratulations. You can hear a lot about the wedding coming up in the regular show. Or maybe you already heard about it. You said in the show, that you watch three movies a day of your wedding.

Yeah. What did you watch? I watched a movie called Paul, which is a comedy about, it's like Seth Rogen voicing an alien who comes to Earth. Did you like it? Yeah, it's funny. Is it new? No, it's an older movie.

Okay, and? I watched Cabin in the Woods, which is a horror movie, and then the last movie we watched was Deep Blue Sea. What's that? It's an older, like, sci-fi movie about some really robotic sharks. Did you pick those movies for a reason? No, we just had the sci-fi channel on. Oh, so.

you just watch movies that we're on. Yeah, we just want to watch something random. I see on HBO Max there's a movie with Angelina Jolie where she's, and I've almost watched it, where she's like a firefighter or something? Yeah, she's a smoke jumper. What is a smoke jumper? So she like sits at the top of like a, it's like a watch tower that overlooks the forest, if there's a fire, she goes and takes care of it. And that's what that's called, a smoke jumper. Yeah. You watched it? Yeah, it's probably. And those who wish me dead, don't waste your time on it. Really? It's not good. Like the whole plot line is really muddy. I, I feel like she didn't really believe her own performance in that movie.

For her not to do many movies now and to do that one, I was surprised by it, about not good it was. Are you surprised that she would see a script this late in her career, knowing exactly what movies are good or not? And then be like, this is good and then do it? Yeah, you think she would do something. It would be at her highest level if she's going to do any kind of movie right now. Watched it, completely unimpressed by it.

Wonder if she got a big payday for it. Oh, she got a lot of money for it. Maybe that's why. Maybe you just go, you know what, they're paying me a lot of money. Why not? And who knows it might be good after editing. That's how you talk yourself into it. After editing.

Okay, I'm in. So what do you write it? I give it 1.5 out of five forest fires. Wow, one five. That may be the lowest review you giving a movie. I'd say about 15 minutes in, I was out. But you still finished it? I watched the whole thing.

You watched Mara Beestown, right? Oh, I did. All because you came in talking about it. And you watched it? Yeah, I've started it. I'm not done yet. Okay, where are you? Maybe three episodes in?

So I'm early, too. So don't spoil in. I'm not spoiling anything. And we only watched it. We only started it early because Caitlin was like, that picture looks good because we're just scrolling through. That picture. Yeah.

There's a lot of pictures up there. You mean the still picture that comes on the menu? Yeah. So without saying too much, just talk about your feelings about it. It's fantastic. It is. It's so good. I love mysteries like that, you know, and it's just one of those things where when I

watch a mystery, I'm constantly trying to, I think everyone, I'm not unique in this, but I'm constantly trying to solve the case as the show goes on. and I'm telling you right now that there is no way that you're going to solve this case. No way. Well, I don't even want to hear that. But you're not going to. I don't even want to hear that.

No, you're not going to. No, but I don't even want to hear that because if I feel like, oh, I've got this and be like, well, I can't because Eddie's already said there's no way. You're going to. You're not. I'm just saying. All right. But it's so good. I think.

Wait, why doesn't everybody get on to Eddie real quick? We just did. We just did. But more. I didn't spoil anything for you. Okay, that's what I said. But it's like going to, it's like when a movie. I go watch a movie, right?

And I come back, I'm like, oh, man, the ending's so crazy. You're never even going to realize it. And you're like, well, I wish you wouldn't tell me that because maybe I'll feel like I realize it. And then go, well, I know I'm, I don't know. I just don't like any indicator at all. Yeah, you're saying we're wasting our time guessing when we're in the middle of the series. No, I think everyone watches mysteries by guessing, right? Don't you always try to like, oh, definitely.

We gamble. Yeah. So I don't I gamble on it. Exactly. But it's so good. And then what's her name, Kate Winslet? I mean, she does such a great job. Like, she to me is always.

the girl from Titanic. Me too. And she is so different than that character. That's how you realize she's such a good actress that I forget that she was the girl in Titanic. What do you give it? Oh, five detectives out of five. Five? Yes, I haven't seen a mystery like that in years. It's so good. You know the show? And by the way, you guys can call us

Okay, so is that, what's that on? HBO. All right. I'll watch that because I'm walking. So while I walk, I watch these TV shows. Oh, that's interesting. But we're going to see a story about Eddie get hit by car, but that's interesting.

I think he's on a treadmill. Yeah, there's a treadmill. Oh, I thought you meant when you're walking on the street. No, no, no. The show that I think I'm going to start watching as my by myself show, and I heard about it from, I mean, months ago from Matt Jones, who's my friend who does Kentucky Sports Radio,

he was like, you have to watch this Formula One show. And I'm like, well I don't know anything about Formula One. He goes, I don't either. He goes, but there are multiple seasons. It's the best show the Netflix has. Really? And now a lot of my friends, four of them,

feels like a lot because I see their Instagram stories. They're way into Formula One now. And they grew up in places like I did. They didn't know anything about Formula One and, you know, European race car drivers. But apparently this show is so good where it teaches you about them, their teams. But that's what it is.

Wow, I don't know if I care that much about it. I think yesterday there was some sort of race. Because I saw a ton of Instagram stories from people I know going, are you guys watching this? It's got 81% on Rotten Tomatoes. Formula One Drive to Survive. But I haven't, but that's going to be next after Mayor of Easttown. But I think it's going to be the show I watch by myself.

Because I don't think Caitlin wants to watch Formula One. Is she watching Mayor of Easttown with you? Okay. How far are you? It was her idea. Yeah, she's one that liked the picture. Got you. It was her time to pick the picture.

Does she stick? When she does that, she stick with the whole show, or does she kind of bailing you? No, we stick. Good. We even stuck on that show with, when they went to Mars, away. Hillary Swink. Yeah. And we were like, well, this is starting to suck.

But we held on. Then they didn't have a season two. We were like, well, let's just stay because we're going to see if they learn their lesson and make a better season next time. So Mike saw, you watch the Friends Reunion, by the way? I did. I did. Yeah, because it's all on HBO Max. So I finally just decided to cave in and get HBO Max.

Guys, again, that one's so good. That reunion is so, so good. Definitely sad. I mean, I got a little sad after. And it's just normal. People get old. But it's, you want to remember these characters the way they were. And when you see him come in like Joey, Joey acts like such an old man, you know?

Like, he just kind of walks around like, I don't remember that wall being that color. It's so funny to see Joey old and all of them really just kind of age. But I loved it. I base how much I like something on how much I think about it afterwards. And I watched it, you know, last week and I still think about it. Well, good. Like so. I thought it was pretty good.

I didn't think it was great. But I do understand because I've talked to some friends that said that I won't watch it because I want to remember them the way they were. And I understand that. Like, I get it. You want to love the series for what it was and not see them all old. I don't even mind that. I just felt like it was pretty contrived.

And I don't think James Corden was a weird choice to host. He was a weird host. I didn't like that part. I like more of them how they just came in and would tell stories and look at the set together. I like that part. Yeah, there were parts I really like. I feel like they didn't talk to Chandler at all. And I wish they would have addressed that.

edited him out a lot, I would think. And I'm talking about before they got back together, because he's like, well, nobody called me. I know. And so, and they probably had a reason. I'm sure that he wasn't the easiest person. He's going through a lot. Yeah. But Rotten Tomatoes for Friends of Reunion is?

90. 78%. Pretty good. No. Is that not good? What is it normally? I thought it would be so much higher. I thought about 75 or so.

In my heart, I would have given it about a solid C. They get paid a lot of money to do that. 3 million. Yeah, like 3 million each. We talked about it. I know, but. Sometimes, though, you're editing videos. Correct. Thank you. To be fair.

Thank you for sticking up for me. I'll look over and I've got some said editing. He's like knuckles deep in a video. I make a wish leader confesses to embezzling from charity for critically ill children. Oh, no. She was... Did you see the story in the news?

No. I just couldn't find a spot to get to it today. Like, the vibes got to be right. We've got to be talking about something that allows this to happen. Because this is a real downer. The former CEO of the Make a Wish chapter in Iowa has pleaded guilty to embezzling from the charity for almost $41,000 in money that would have gone to help fulfill the wishes of children with critical illnesses. Jennifer Woodley confessed last week she made unauthorized purchases on a foundation credit card, gave herself an unapproved bonus, and salary increase and falsified foundation records related to those expenses.

That's trouble. It's just getting trouble her for her to find a job next, too. You know you're going to Google her. All right, you come in for a job for the Geeks Squad of Best Buy. Let me Google you here and see what you're up for. Oh, you stole from sick kids. And she was a CEO. So no one was challenging her.

Unless there's a board. She's probably accountable to somebody, but at the end of the day, she probably was kicking away with the lot until she didn't. Hurricanes are threatening more than 32 million U.S. homes this year. Like, it's great to live on the beach. I get it. It'd be awesome to live on the beach.

But I'm so neurotic about everything all the time. I would always be like, oh, boy, is this the day? This is the day a hurricane comes. Bobby would be boarding up every day. The sun's out. 30% you. There's Bobby and Water again. A report released from a real estate analytics group called CoreLogic said that homes,

both single and family homes, and all these were at a greater risk this year because of hurricanes. They listed about 32 million homes are up. I haven't been in a situation, thank God, where my home has been in jeopardy, meaning flood, hurricane, fire. I don't want to jinx any of that stuff. Tornado. Tornado.

You know, you got close. When it was at your house? Yeah. I mean, blocks from, I mean, Lunchbox and I both got lucky because like streets in

between me and lunchbox, houses were completely ruined. But like, it's just crazy to think how close it was. In Arkansas, towns would get hit next to ours. When you're a small town,

there's a lot of little towns near you. But we had tornadoes all the time, too. Like, growing up, that's why when tornadoes happened here and everybody's freaking out, I'm just kind of trying to go, okay, I'll watch it closer. But not to freak out.

out because we had 40 of them. Like Morgan, I would assume you growing up in Kansas, even more tornadoes than Arkansas. I would assume when you hear a tornado warning, it's still a real deal, but you've just been through so many. I would assume you don't go running for the basement? No, I'm just a pro at this point. I grab exactly what I need. I'm ready to go in case something happens. And then I'm calm, cool, collected at this point. I think I've experienced at least 10 tornadoes in my life so far. So when I say 40, I think I've had warnings, but I haven't I don't think I've experienced, I think I've experienced close, like probably four or five. You think you've experienced 10?

Yeah, I mean, I know like four very vividly, and I remember others of it being around, and it happens so frequently that you just kind of get used to it. It's like a thunderstorm, and you just know what to do, and you almost, there's basements in Kansas, so you just keep all your things down there that you need. Like, you have stuff stocked. It's like another Thursday in Kansas. Yeah. We went to the airport once, at Raging Idiot Show.

No, maybe a morning show we went there And there was this They landed us in the middle of all the storms And we had to like way to the bottom of the airport Or at the airport for a long time And they were like, yeah, you're good Which is what we do here It's like one of the first times we went over there

Welcome to Kansas We're like yeah, yeah, Kansas The tornado state Whoa I didn't take my IBS pill this morning Let me tell you what happens with this thing I called I'm a big bucket of water too

It's so that pill is so expensive They called they were like Hey your pill's gonna be $1,000 What? That one what? No, not one pill Oh, that's okay. The prescription of it, which is insane. And so I go to the doctor.

She's like, you need this stuff. And I'm like, okay, so we call insurance. And insurance is like, we can't get something. It's going to be a thousand. I was like, no, no, no, no. I'll just have IBS. I'm not bad. It was for a whole year of it, but it still was $1,000.

That's a lot of money, man. If you don't have insurance, then that's what sucks. That's like, that's like the stuff that if I run it for office will be my first priority. Food insufficiency, making sure people can get their medicine. Jeez. But now I'm on a timer, just because you guys are wondering. Yes. I've taken the clock has started.

I've on a timer. The hidden cost of owning a super yacht. Which people, I asked Caitlin last night, I was like, hey, do you have interesting? Not seriously. But I was like, do you ever have interested in getting a boat? And she was like, eh, it would be fun, I guess. But boats are a lot of work. I know lunchbox wants a boat.

Yes. I want a hot tub boat specifically. Looks awesome. And a yacht would be great, too, so you have your own driver. And they probably take care of it for you so you don't have to do anything. Live out on the water. Driver captain. So a 150-foot yacht would cost about $2 million a year, not even to buy.

Whoa, a year. Not even to buy. This is just $200,000 weekly to run. Awesome. Because it's insurance, fuel, supplies, toys, anyone you have to hire to work on your boat. You have to pay them salaries. And so they're like, hey, you see these boats and you're like, man, if I could just save up and buy a $5 million yacht. Oh.

Yeah. It's like, you have to be able to maintain it. Then you have to pay $2 million a year to keep the $5 million a yacht. $5 million yacht running. That means you made it in life, though. That means you know you're good. If you got a yacht and you can do it, no other worries. Ramundo says he discovered Parker McCollum before anyone else on the show.

Yeah, my buddy Billy reminded me of this. So about four years ago, I pitched a segment that if we would play this to artist's song on the radio, hopefully it would make him big. And I said it would also help Billy out because Billy was on something in the golf. They're on a boat together. ironically enough, talking about boats. And that's when they did a handshake deal. And Billy said, I know a country guy in Nashville. He's my buddy, me.

And he said he knows a guy, you, Bobby Bones, that can get the song played. What's a handshake deal? And did I know Billy? Do I know Billy? You knew Billy, but I had said, I pitched it as a bit. I said, this will really help out Billy. He'll land a deal with this.

Whoever Parker McCollin, they were in other businesses together. And I said, it'll really help out Billy, the friendship, the partnership, because he kind of big talk me. And I said, listen, bones can probably get it done. we got very close to doing the bit. We never did the bit. That artist, Parker McCollum. And I was like four or five years ago. Wait, did you set it on the air, though?

Yeah, we just never. No, no, no, we never did the bit. We came so close. Well, he can get back. That artist, Jimmy Allen. Well, you can do that now with anyone because she never said the- Garth Brooks. Yeah.

Anyone that's broken over the last four years. I know, but I feel like I've remembered this story unless Ray's had this multiple times. Like, so I don't know how to say it, but the bit. We did the bit, but then we deleted it. Oh. So that's why you remember it. Oh, okay.

So was it. Was it part, do we play his music? Yeah, I mean, it was old songs of his. It wasn't even like his new ones, but let's see. Oh, that does sound familiar. No, it is. I mean, I remember doing this. I think I remember it too.

But why? What happened? I just wasn't good enough. Sometimes we got high standards, so we said it just doesn't need to go out there. Or maybe I felt fishy for doing it. Possibly. I think that's probably what it was where it's like, I can't have Billy making handshake deals with some artist.

He told me if you can do this I can get 10% off 100 toothbrushes That I can sell on the streetcorn And I'm like, wait what? Why am I involved in this? Speaking of money, most kids think they're going to be millionaires. Who didn't? Do you feel like your kids think they're just going to be rich growing up?

Probably, yes. What do you think they'll do? What do they think they'll do to be rich growing up? I think most of them think they're going to be athletes, professional athletes, is the number one thing. My oldest son thinks he's going to be a movie director, so he obviously knows that he wants a Ferrari. Or maybe Lamborghini, one of the two. He's already picked out. I want a Lamborghini when I get rich, and I'm going to live in Hollywood.

The weird thing about movie directors is even if you're pretty successful, you're not a millionaire. It's only the elite elite. Bones, I tell him that all the time. And then he comes back with like a B and a test and I'm just like, yeah, look, see, that's not a millionaire grade right there. And it's like, look, Stephen Silverberg dropped out in sixth grade. I know, I'm like, oh, crap. I have no answer to that.

According to a new survey, a majority of elementary and middle school kids believe they will become millionaires. However, most think that when they're their parents' will have tons of money and be significantly more wealthy than their parents. A lot of this is because of TV shows and also what they see in social media. a TikTok Instagram make it seem very attainable. YouTube. That stuff on TikTok Instagram that they're mostly faking it. Thank you.

Mostly people are like, oh, like how rich I am. They ain't really that rich. It's not that they are and showing it off. Everybody's flexing it up a little bit. Do you think you'd be rich when you were a kid? No, I don't know. I don't remember having those thoughts. Did you think you would, you didn't ever? No, I mean, I'm trying to think back. Like, I never thought I was going to be... Now kids have... I'm trying to think

what I thought I was going to be like, what was the equivalent? I never wanted to be an actress or a singer, and that's like what we knew. Now kids are like, yes, YouTube star, some athletes, but yes, YouTube star, Instagram star, TikTok star. Like, that's what I hear my daughter say is I just want to make money on TikTok. And I'm like, and how are you going to do that? She doesn't have a dollar amount at like millions, but I just don't kids just think that they see others making money online and that it just must be easy. Do you think you'd be rich?

Nah, I mean, I thought I'd have like a nice house and stuff and probably a boat and really nice car, but not like filthy rich. How? I don't know idea. Like, I thought I was going to be a rock star is what I thought. That was my, like, I absolutely thought I was going to be rich. Thought I was going to be on the real world and MTV, and that was just going to be millions of dollars coming in after that because after that you get super famous and they're on TV. And that was my dream from when I was little, I always thought I'd be super rich. But now you realize this real world people.

don't make that much money. Well, now I realize that they didn't make that much money, and then they went back and they do real jobs and they have families. Some of them are still rich, though, because now the challenge is, like, when they're on the challenge back in the day, they were winning like a boat. Name a person. Name a person that's rich from the challenge. Johnny Banana.

Except the one person. Except the one person. Mark Long. Is he really? The godfather. Johnny Banana's net worth, $200,000. No way. He won half a minute.

million on the last challenge. So there's no more way. Okay, but then you get 260, 270 of that. Okay, so that's more than 200,000 right there. Plus, he has and you live a life. I'm not saying you're wrong, but I'm saying, I just think your concept of the money people make is... CT.

Who was that other guy you said? Mark Long. Mark. The godfather. The godfather of reality TV. Yeah, he was on the first season of Road Rules. Mark Long, the reality TV is a net worth about a million bucks. Boom. Millionaire. Wow, more than giant bananas?

What did he do right? No, he's the godfather. He's still on the, I mean, he still goes on. He went on the Challenge All Stars this season. I mean, the dude is amazing. CT, he's still rocking it. My point, there's three or four of them, and there's like a thousand of them who even did that and didn't make a lot of money.

What about you? Did you think that you're? Of course. I still felt that. I still, I didn't know if it was like. I went to a, Eddie and I had someone over at the TV studio once from Emmy Television. And I was like, oh, yeah, nothing's going to hold me back. I'm not quitting until I get it, so let's go until I die.

And so she came and she did a star chart. She was like a guest on our regional TV show. And she was like, you're going to be like, wow, like Oprah Rich. And I was like, Eddie, look. She said it. And Eddie became my best friend that day. He was like, I've been, I'm going to have a long. Stay close.

Ray, you? Honestly, I believe by friends and family around me told me I was going to be rich. I just never thought I was going to. People saw it in me that I didn't see it in me. They were like, you have a talent. and then as I got went through puberty they're like your voice is really good and I was like I think I could probably become rich then

from my voice but then at the same time it's all back and forth so I would look up and see like play by play announcers they don't make that much money PA address announcers they don't make that much so then going into college then I started to come to the realization I'm really not going to be rich doing this but it's going to be something I really enjoy and that people tell me I'm good at

yeah can you support yourself and do what you love that's actually rich Like are you rich in happiness? But also if you love what you're doing and you're making a lot of money, that's extra rich. Hey, Mike, give me the story about remembering certain things. So they say if you're having trouble remembering certain things, it might just be the food that you're eating. Because what we're consuming is actually affecting our brain. It's not age, per se.

If you really had that based in your diet, if you consistently eat it over 8 to 12 months, you'll start to see noticeable changes in your overall memory. If you eat a lot of sugar, the opposite way with your brain. Specifically, research found that people who ate leafy greens and red vegetables and dark berries benefited the most with their memory. But it does take a long time, like 8 to 12 months before you start to notice something. Oh, wow. Do you feel your memory's jacked up? Absolutely, 100%.
