The Bobby Bones, Post-Show, Pre-Show.
Monday show's over.
I do want to bring Ray Mundo on,
our audio producer,
new board runner, which is crazy for me because I'm like to push my own buttons.
It's actually starting next week.
Ramundo will be running all my board too.
That being said, Ramundo now he wants to get a second job.
You used to work at Jason Aldeens, a bar, huh?
Yeah, just on Sundays.
And were you getting paid?
Yeah.
And what were you doing?
Hosting events when you were doing Dancing with the Stars.
We did some stuff with big time sporting events.
So with station stuff.
You weren't actually working for Jason Aldean's bar?
Not technically.
But you wanted to.
You want to be the bartender?
Yeah, I've always wanted to, and even Morgan number two talked about being a bartender with me.
We never did.
Well, Ray Mundo now wants to go work at McDonald's.
Why?
Great question.
Go ahead.
Yeah, so hear me out.
There's all these very, I mean, well-known celebrities, Jeff Bezos, the dude from Amazon.
Yeah, yeah.
Ray Mundo presents, Hear me out.
And then a lot of more other people, too, as well.
You have Shania Twain, just to name a few.
So, all these celebrities have worked at McDonald's.
Oh, they've worked there before.
Yes.
That's why he wants to work there specifically.
So it's a really great backstory.
If you're ever doing any public speaking, there's nothing wrong with working at McDonald's.
It's a very great establishment.
But to show where you came from, boom, when you say McDonald's, people are like, oh my gosh,
that's an entry-level job.
You don't have to have really that big of an education.
He came from McDonald's and now this is what he's doing.
It's just such a great thing for your story.
But if you miss that window, you're never going to get the chance to work at McDonald's.
Don't you have an entry-level?
We all had entry-level places we worked.
Right.
But it is just such a buzzword.
books are sold on the premise of that.
And then all these educated people, they started there at McDonald's.
I thought it would be huge.
I could talk about it.
I can do commercials.
I can do Instagrams.
I think for my brand to say that I work to McDonald's.
That's just a thing.
So honestly, I've been pondering it a lot.
And you get to learn how to cook as a side cool thing to happen.
That's really don't put you at the very front.
They put you in the back.
That's when you learn the burgers, the hush pot or the hash fries.
The fries.
Learn the menu.
He's been pondering about his brand of hush puppies.
Okay, go ahead.
And my schedule does work with it.
McDonald's is 24 hours.
I could do a really quick shift, a couple hours here and there.
And so that I have that for my resume.
Work to McDonald's.
That's just so fascinating, interesting to me.
And I just think it's a great, great story.
I can tell my kids.
That's to the hustle.
And it's not about working at Burger King.
Right.
You want McDonald's specifically because Jeff Bezos and Shania Twain worked at McDonald's.
Exactly.
Look at their track record.
Look what they're doing now.
Run the world.
So I'm saying
I've been thinking about it, want to do it
I just got to fill out that application
You know what I'm saying?
Oh wow I have
There's 22 famous people who've worked at McDonald's
Really?
Richard McAdams Jay Leno
Sharon Stone
Jeff Bezo Seale
Macy Gray
Ray Mundo hopefully
DL Hugley
James Franco
Faith Hill reunited with her
boss
But all these people
I'll tell you why it's McDonald's though
It's because there's so many of them
It's just a numbers game
no matter where you're from.
We all had jobs where
I didn't work at McDonald's because
I was waiting tables or washing
dishes. They're just McDonald's in a lot of places
so a lot of people can go there.
Ramundo worked at a convenience store.
That could be part of his story.
But what's the store? Is it 7-Eleven?
It wasn't. It was a non-off brand.
Crap, I couldn't even tell you.
You're just looking for a brand for your brand.
Yes.
That's what this all comes down to.
Now he has a brand.
And the gas station, people didn't respect that
when I would even say it till this day.
I worked at a gas station.
Oh, did you have.
I mean, that's not McDonald's.
Oh my gosh, you came from the bottom.
Oh, I mean, you, that's a, you kids in high school can work there.
You started there, and now this is what you're doing.
Wow.
Okay.
You could tell you're kids right now.
Dad started at McDonald's, and it's immediate respect.
Wow, look what you've done in this country.
I do love their fries.
Oh, good fries.
I like their nuggets.
You know, I like their freaking cheeseburgers.
Dude, a quarter pounder, it just doesn't get better than that.
It's just simple and so good.
Well, and Ray could make you one.
think about it.
It backfires.
I get all fat.
You didn't see supersized me.
All right.
My sister worked at golden-fried chicken when she was in.
Why, Raymundo makes me laugh so much.
He will.
He's ridiculous.
He's ridiculous.
And it never stops.
It never stops.
It never stops.
Okay.
Raymondo, as long as it doesn't cut into your hours here.
It won it.
Okay.
Okay.
So, what hours are you going to take?
I guess you're like you.
Like, you don't ever, yeah.
I mean, I go there sometimes at 3 a.m.
They're open.
There's not an hour they're not.
There's options.
Okay.
You could work at that one real close by that way.
It's easy to get to them.
You hook us up with some flurries?
I'm sure they give coupons.
Do you know that, you know who owns Dairy Queen?
Like somebody you know?
No, I don't know.
I wish I knew him.
Warren Buffett.
Oh, does he?
He owns all of them?
Yeah.
Oh, that's cool.
But he never worked there.
I don't know.
I don't know he bought it later on.
That's a good brand.
Have you ever watched that documentary on McDonald's Ray?
If you're not getting to know your brand, you should watch that.
What's up with your brand anyway?
What would you say your brand is, Ramundo?
I'm just curious.
What's the Ray Mundo brand?
Well, we did a Skype call the other day, and we were talking about our own personal brand.
Is this where this all comes from?
You did the Skype call with St. Louis?
Kind of.
And I got to thinking, man, I've never really pitched myself.
I need to know where I, boom, real quick.
And if I had one minute to explain myself, where I started, this, my current position,
talk about my love life, where I live, and then on with it.
But I need to have that.
That's my brand.
You should be able to explain your brand like that.
And I didn't.
I drug on.
I think I went like four minutes about my brand to the point that people were like,
okay, next person, please talk.
He's done with his brand.
So he wants that, oh my gosh, moment.
Your brand would be fitness related.
Yes.
It would also be you're a guy, you're a single guy who's about to not be single anymore.
Correct.
And that's what I said to them.
But, I mean, right, it's all about kind of, like you said, whittling it down.
Yeah, yeah.
So you'll be, you know, you're into muscles, gyms.
Fast cars.
Okay, no, stop.
You're not in a fast cars.
You don't even own a car.
You don't even own a car.
You can't just make up your brand of things you want.
Like, you really are.
Like, you're a Midwest guy.
Yeah.
He's a dad.
He calls himself a Yankee.
Is that, is that proper?
I don't think Michigan.
Michigan's Midwest.
Yeah.
Maybe I lose that.
Maybe no more.
No, you don't lose it.
It is who you are.
You can't be fast car a fast car Yankee if you're not.
Fast car Yankee, although that's a pretty cool brand.
That's what I'm talking about.
You're a guy, okay, here you go.
You ready?
Yeah.
You're a guy from Humble, you're a Midwest guy from Humble Beginnings who's into weightlifting and fitness.
And you love to go out and have a good time on the weekends.
You like to spend time at the bar.
But also very responsible.
Hold on.
You like to spend time at the bars, and you're going, you're teetering right now from singleddom to being in a relationship.
Yes.
The end.
There it is.
And that's what I should have said in the conference.
And also in your 30s.
You put that in there.
That's your brand right now.
Yep.
A lot younger than most people at 33.
And you have a cat.
He has a cat.
I forget that sometimes.
We mean a lot younger.
Just this lifestyle, all my 33-year-old friends, except for the ones from Texas, they're all married kids, three kids.
kids, four kids, worrying about getting a college fund set up for them.
All of them are into something.
They have like stay-at-home wives.
They're kind of depressed.
What are you doing?
No, no, but I'm saying they're set in their ways where I go, hey.
No, no, no, but I'll say to them, would you guys want to go catch a baseball game this weekend?
Oh, oh, catch a baseball game.
They're like, I'm too depressed for that.
I've got to stay at home wife, man.
I got to stay home to be depressed.
That's so funny to me.
But I'm still very, very spontaneous for, I would think, for a 33-year-old.
Because you're not married with kids yet.
Correct.
I mean, I'm spontaneous.
Would you say that?
Yeah.
Because I'm not married with kids.
Yeah.
So that's what I, that's what I, if I was to add something, I would say that I'm very spontaneity, boom, that's my number one right there.
I have one right there.
I know.
They would agree to it.
He's like, honey, Ray's talking about me.
Listen to this.
Here.
I'm so sad.
Like snuffle up against him.
E-Or.
They'll call me on a Friday and I'm ready to go for the weekend and they'll say,
man, what a week, man.
How are you doing?
Oh, I don't know the weekend just started.
How are you doing?
You sound horrible.
And then they say, what?
I'm depressed.
I don't think that's really how depression works.
These are all his 30-11.
That's just them like not wanting to hang out with you.
Liking their life at the moment.
But that's a choice.
Absolutely.
Like, real depression.
They probably wouldn't even call you.
They would be in their room with the shades.
Okay.
Raymundo.
Yes.
This has been an enlightening conversation for me.
Agreed.
What's your goal?
I think we got it right there.
The next very soon.
Why are you talking in this tone now?
Do a little something in McDonald's.
Now you sound depressed.
I know I got to talking about it.
It totally ruined my tone.
Okay.
Raymundo, thank you for this time with you.
You know, I enjoy.
I was thinking that Mary Tyler Moore opening where it goes,
Who can turn the world on with her smile?
When Ray comes in and he starts talking to us, everybody lights up.
Yeah, lights up the room.
Who can turn the world on with his smile.
Suddenly take a nothing day and make it all seem worthwhile.
We'll let you Ray and you should know it.
You know that song?
Yeah, I've heard it before.
Okay, cool.
All right, that's it.
We've got to start the show today.
And on that, we shall let you hit it.
Monday show coming at you here.
Oh, yeah.
Put the world on with his swing.
Yeah.
Raymoondo.
We've got nothing day and suddenly make it all seem worthwhile.
Well, it's Rayboy and you should know it.
With each glance and every little movement you show.
All right, here we go.
Monday show starts now.
You're gonna make it Raymoondo
Folks, it's your buddy and mine
Mr. Bobby Bones!
Everybody had a good 4th of July, a long weekend.
Got a bunch of smiles, got a bunch of fireworks, dancing.
What else?
Cookies.
Yeah, hot dogs.
All hot, y'all.
We just hope it was so forthy.
It was so American.
Yeah, yeah.
We're back.
More studio.
Morning.
Speaking of food, we'll start off the show.
Go over to Morgan number two.
Two, by the way, Morgan, I have two. Good morning.
Good morning.
And she loves food.
She many months ago pitched a segment to me called Food World where she talks about food because...
I really love food.
She loves food.
It's time for Food World.
Num, Num, Num, with Morgan number two.
So I have a list of items that people really can't decide whether they should put in the pantry or in the fridge.
Ooh, this is fun.
It's a good one.
You read it.
Amy on the counter story, we'll say what we think at the same time.
Okay.
Okay, go ahead.
Apples.
Apples.
Counter.
No, you missed the game.
We have to say it at the same time.
Oh.
And also, we're going to say pantry or fridge.
Okay, sorry.
Like bedroom.
You did everything wrong.
Well, I keep them on the counter.
I don't keep them in the pantry.
That would be weird.
Okay, well, fridge.
In the fridge or out of the fridge.
Okay.
Got it.
Okay, we'll say in or out.
Okay.
All right.
In or out.
Okay.
In or out.
Next.
ketchup.
Ketchup.
In.
Amy.
Oh my gosh.
I got too excited.
I got excited.
Calm down.
I guess it's a game.
We're not racing.
This is the first time I can beat you at anything.
I never win.
You're always faster than me.
But I'm not trying to be.
Okay.
What is it again?
It's ketchup.
Okay.
One, two, three, in.
Go ahead.
Bread.
Bread.
One, two, three.
Out.
Go ahead.
Peanut butter.
Peanut butter.
One, two, three.
Out.
Oh, wow.
I don't eat peanut butter, but I do have some of my house.
But it stays in.
Your stays out?
Yeah.
What's the right answer on that one?
Is there one?
17% of people refrigerate it, so most people keep
it out. Oh wow. Okay. Next up. I win.
Avocados. One, two, three.
Ow. Wow. Wow.
It depends on how right they are, though. I like to keep my
fresh and cold. Okay. Yeah.
I like room-timp.
You do? I'll keep my avocados. I want a cold avocado.
You know what I do like cold
avocados. Because sometimes I'll cut them up and put them on
like a salad. Yeah.
Like a, like a quinoa, a lot of quinoa.
And so I'll put the avocados on and I like it cold.
No, I like it room temp.
Okay. That's where we're different.
I don't believe.
Everybody has different.
taste of alacomale. Like, wacamole refrigerator. Alvocados.
Oh, that's all the same to me. What's most people do with avocado?
55% refrigerated.
That's everybody else is a psycho killer. All right.
With the grocery store, they're out.
But they're in a cold environment.
Not mine. Not in my store.
All right. You never see them on the sidewalk, like avocados.
Oh, you go ahead.
If you're at the farmer's market.
Okay, go ahead.
Next one.
Tomatoes.
Tomatoes. One, two, three.
In.
Go ahead.
And then last one, eggs.
Eggs.
One, three. In.
Yeah.
Unless you just delivered it from the chicken in your yard and then set it on the counter.
The only time it should be out right once falling the chicken's butt.
And it's cool.
I don't think it comes out of the butt.
I know, but you want to get into that whole thing?
I just wanted to make sure you knew that it wasn't going on the butt.
This is how I found out.
What percentage of people put the eggs out?
10%.
But like, why?
Isn't that dangerous?
Amy, different.
People have different taste.
Did y'all see, like, I don't know, like a week, I don't know, a week ago maybe, the CDC is reminding people to not eat cookie dough.
Oh, I did see that word.
You know, they do that every year.
Yes.
I mean, I know, it's always like a big story at times and I'm like, you're still having to remind us.
But guess what?
We still eat it.
Even though I read the scary statistics, I still eat cookie dough.
There you have it.
Thank you, Morgan number two.
That's a good one.
That's a good food world.
That was Food World with Morgan number two.
Nom, no, no, no.
Shit.
Bobby Boone, too.
A lot of people asking a lot of questions. Let's look into the mailbag.
Bobby's Mailbag.
Listen to this one, Amy. I got this email.
We've been together for a year. It's finally happening. We're meeting each other's parents.
My girlfriend met my parents this weekend. It went really well.
My dad didn't say much because it doesn't speak a lot of English.
But my girlfriend and my mom got together and they talked and even joked around a bit.
It was a big relief. But now I'm meeting hers in a couple of weeks. I'm really nervous to meet her parents.
Her dad works for a police department.
She also has two younger brothers, so it's a lot at once.
And as you know, I'm a quiet guy.
So I don't want to come up to being weird or standoffish.
Any advice?
Okay.
By the way, I can...
As you know I'm a quiet guy.
This is Mike D.
I was like, how do I know that this guy's quiet?
This is Mike D, our producer, who slid one in the mailbag.
I'm hoping to...
Mike D, come over to its microphone.
Way to hide behind the letter in a mailbag.
He didn't even put his name, like a fake name on it.
As you know, I'm a quiet guy.
I did not until I read that.
So you're meeting your girlfriend's parents.
Yeah.
Nervous.
And he's a cop.
Yeah.
And she has brothers.
Let me give you a piece of advice and a piece of advice that I give everybody in any situation where you want to people that you don't know that you need to like you or you need to convince of something.
It's one thing.
It's one thing.
And it's to smile.
You think that's a stupid thing?
Really?
It's the key.
It's so disarming.
If you just, no, don't do it for a stupid reason, but just smile.
Like awkwardly.
They're telling a sad story.
Be happy to see them.
Like smile.
If something's funny, smile.
Smiling really is the key to life.
When you meet someone new and they're smiling, you like them automatically.
Even if you don't know you like them, you like them better automatically.
That's a universal language.
So my first thing would be to smile.
Okay?
Because if you're like right now you're smiling.
Yeah.
I like you better right now.
Yeah.
And don't try too hard.
You know, it's a mixture.
It's never comfortable.
This is not going to be a comfortable thing for you.
because it's not supposed to be a comfortable thing.
No one goes and meets their girls' parents
and you walk into it just lucy-goosey.
Like, it's going to be great.
Yeah. It's supposed to be uncomfortable
because you've got to impress them.
Yeah.
You're dating his daughter.
So, smile, don't feel like you have to impress
because as you know, when you feel like you have to do something,
you don't perform at the same level.
Find out from her, if you can find out what some of his interests are,
like what you could ask.
You have to find that, you know,
a Venn diagram, the two circles, they share a spot.
Like there's two circles, they overlap each other
and the thing in the middle. Find out where
your twos are, where your commonality is.
Maybe he likes movies. Maybe.
Find out, find your common ground
that you can actually have a human
conversation about something.
So, ask them like stuff about being a cop?
You can. Yeah. You can, but you don't want to turn it
too much of an interview thing. You really want it to be
a one plus one
more than a one asking one.
Okay. You can.
But I would say smile.
Find out what's in common with you guys.
I mean, he's already totally background checked you and all that stuff.
You're good.
Yeah.
Let him frisk you.
Like, as soon as you walk and put your hands on the wall.
Let me frisk you.
But she met your parents.
Yeah.
I read this in the email.
In the middle of the middle.
I was like, I know this story.
Is this a rerun?
Yeah.
That's like a big deal.
So she met your parents.
Yeah.
And so you're quiet, Mike.
You're Mexican, but you're really, your parents are legitimately Mexico.
Yeah.
They came from Mexico.
Yeah.
And your dad doesn't speak much English.
Not a whole lot.
Did they talk?
I think just the introduction and after that, no.
Okay.
And so was she weirded about that?
Not in a weird way, but was she like, oh, man, I felt like I couldn't bond with your dad because we didn't talk.
No, I kind of gave her a heads up.
I mean, he doesn't talk much to begin with, and then the language barrier is going to be tough.
Yeah.
And how did it go, though?
It went really well.
Yeah, they liked her.
Did she try to speak Spanish?
No.
Okay.
A bit.
She wasn't like, oh la.
Adios.
Tacos.
And she's not Hispanic or Mexican.
No.
No.
She's not?
I was shocked by that.
What?
I thought she was too.
Dude, I swear.
Just because she has brown hair.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Wow.
And next to me youth.
And next to Mike.
Yeah, we're like.
He's just like, all right.
It makes sense.
And Eddie's Mexican.
Yes.
Yeah.
Mike used at the house last week.
And we're talking about him and his girlfriend.
And I was like, so she's Mexican too.
He's like, no.
And he looked at me like I was dumb.
That's crazy.
Yeah.
Okay.
But that went well.
And now you needed.
The key to impressing someone is not really trying to impress someone.
Just go and be yourself.
You're a good dude.
Smile.
You're super quiet.
So you've got to turn the level up just a little bit.
Find what's in common.
Have conversations.
He likes you because she likes you.
Just don't make him go the other way.
Got it.
Well, maybe.
I mean, I liked a boy once in my dad didn't like him.
He knew I liked them.
But how long were you together?
They've been together a year.
Oh, yeah.
It's different.
He was new.
But, I mean, I kind of liked him.
No, I'm sure it's going to be totally fine.
I'm excited that you're doing that because I feel like at one point in time Mike told us like her meeting somebody meeting his family was like a huge deal.
Yeah, it's a big deal.
First girlfriend Mike D's ever had.
Mike D writes all the games.
If you're new to the show, he's a writer on the show, writes the games, finds a bunch of these new stories.
Well, good luck.
And thanks for the email.
Yeah.
There you go.
I literally didn't know what's him until I got about halfway through it.
And I was like, okay.
And that was Bobby's Mailbag.
Thank you very much.
Shit.
Our video producer ready, watched a couple things.
What'd you watch?
Yeah, I mean, you guys have really brought up some, like, good recommendations.
So I followed up on them.
I watched Murder Mystery on Netflix.
That's the Adam Sandler, Jennifer Aniston.
Yes.
What's they said, like, broke a record for them.
Yeah.
It was a good?
It's really good, actually.
And we did it like a date night movie.
Like, it was like me and my wife, we watched it together.
And it was cute for both of us.
It wasn't like, I liked it more than my wife did.
We liked it the same amount.
And I recommended it like a date night.
Do you want a Netflix and chill?
Did I use that really?
right? No. No, you can now
because now Netflix and Chill doesn't mean what
Netflix and Chill. It literally now means
Netflix and chill. That's what I'm talking about.
So you guys Netflix and Chill? Yeah, we
in what way?
The normal way. Yeah, we Netflix and chilled. Yeah,
we watched this and we chilled. So,
what do you give it? What's your rating? Oh, let's see. Let's see. I didn't think
about this. I would give it
out of five. I would give it four
cruise boats out of five.
Four cruise boats out of five. That's pretty good.
Yeah. Okay, and what else do you see? And then
I also took your, Bobby, I think you saw.
fighting with my family.
Oh, the true story about the wrestler.
Yes.
She was a real wrestler.
Real wrestler and the rock.
It makes a cameo in it.
No, no.
He's kind of a big part of it.
He's got a big part.
Yeah.
So I watched that on an airplane,
and I really liked that one too.
Surprisingly, wasn't it so good?
But that one wasn't, it was like,
my wife was like, I don't really like it that much.
So she bailed and I stuck with it.
So I don't know if me being a guy liked it more than her.
I don't know what it was.
It seemed a little cheesy at first.
Yes, it did.
Yeah.
It did.
And it's British.
And so, for me, like British movies,
I don't think it's fair to say she's British.
She is English.
Yes.
But everyone else, the movie's not.
I guess it's just about her family and they're all British.
But, again, I liked it.
I got goosebumps during one part.
Me too.
I cried at one part.
Yeah. It's really good.
Yeah.
And what would you give it?
I would give it, same, four wrestling rings out of five.
Yeah.
I used to tell you I'd give it too.
I was so surprised it was worth the crap.
He was like, who's going to watch this movie about wrestling?
Yeah.
And I love it's called fighting with my family.
You're like, oh, what's this about?
You think it's also just a real, real, real fan.
And it is a family movie.
Yes.
But I don't have family.
Want, won.
But still, love it.
Wow.
Amy.
Yeah, I mean, if you guys are ever torn, you can watch that.
Okay.
I watched Making Murder.
Murder.
Murder mystery.
Yeah.
And I thought it was pretty good.
Yeah.
Jennifer Aniston and, like, she did, like, they're, yeah, what were they in with
Brooklyn Decker, that movie?
It's a cop.
Is it a cop movie?
No.
Just go with it?
Yes.
So, like, they're good together.
Dan Lair and Jennifer Anderson.
I was like, oh, it seems like there's just an extension of that movie.
Now, they're not in Hawaii anymore.
They're on a boat.
You know what I watched was 22 Jump Street.
Is that the sequel?
Oh, finally.
That's so good.
And I had to watch it in a different language, the English subtitles, though, because when I was
in another country.
That's rough.
Doing the show.
It was still pretty funny.
I watched it in the English subtitles.
Okay.
So it was still pretty funny even when I'm not watching it normal.
But you know what?
I did watch that was pretty good.
What are you laughing at?
That I called Murder Mystery.
making a murder.
Oh yeah.
Totally different Netflix.
Stephen Avery's got a movie.
It's a great movie.
Both on Netflix.
Romcom.
That's funny.
My favorite thing is Amy was laughing at her own joke and not letting us in on it.
I like over and she's laughing and I'm like, what did I say that was stupid?
She's like, no, I'm laughing to myself.
Yeah, because I'm so dumb.
Okay, go ahead.
I know I watched one of, oh, I watched the Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell Daddy's Daddy's
movie, the state, Will Ferrell's, what's it called?
Daddy's Home?
Daddy's Home.
What was that?
Funny?
Funny?
Stupid.
So stupid.
But funny.
And maybe it's because I was on an airplane.
He had nothing else to do.
Did you like it?
Daddy's home?
Did they make another one?
Daddy's home too?
They made it.
Daddy's back home?
They fight with each other or something?
So Mark Wahlberg is their real dad.
And they get divorced.
And so she married, I'm much safer, goofy guy.
He was Wolfram.
Okay, all right.
I already like the premise.
And so then he's like living with him, right?
Mark Wahlberg is to live with him.
And so he's like, they're like, they're like,
are my kids and he's like I'm just trying to be a good stepdad.
It's pretty funny.
All right.
Okay.
So speaking of Will Ferrell, so I have never seen the Bear Girls show that you're on.
He did it.
So Will Ferrell did it.
And my friend was telling me that they, in the backpack, they had two Twinkies and a chocolate bar
and that Bear went off to get some kindling or something.
He's like, I'll be right back.
And the Twinkie and the Chocolate Bar, they're supposed to ration it.
And then he came back and there was like, Will Ferrell ate both Twinkies and the whole chocolate bar.
And he looked at Bear and he goes, I got nervous.
or something like that.
I mean, I don't know.
I'm telling it from a friend telling me the story,
and I was like, oh, my gosh, I need to watch that one.
Yeah, it's funny.
To prep for Bobby's.
Yeah, at one point, Will Ferrell goes,
all right, when do I have drink my own pee?
And it's right when they're starting the whole thing.
And so I had seen that all the way up,
and I got too scared to be funny sometimes.
Like, I was saying funny stuff sometimes,
but then I just get too scared.
Like, there's only time to be funny at the very beginning and very end,
because otherwise you're about to die.
Right.
But the Will Ferrell was funny.
I thought my bit was going to be, and I didn't do it, but in my head I thought, I just didn't meet bear before.
Most people get to meet bear before, because my flight was so late when I went to the show.
Like, I landed, and we went right to the show, right out to where I was.
And so I didn't get to meet Bear until right then.
But I just thought it would be so funny to confuse it, like I was on naked and afraid.
And he shows up and I'm naked.
And like, that was my idea.
Yeah.
They take off all my clothes and be like, I've been watching this naked and afraid for a long time.
I'm so excited.
Even if I was just in my underwear and they could blurt it out.
Right.
But it was cold.
And then I didn't know if the joke.
Dang it is.
I thought it had been a really funny or a real miss.
Or he lands and goes, all right, you're already naked, so let's go.
And now I really am naked and afraid.
But yeah, the Will Ferrell thing is funny.
There you go.
Would you get my naked and afraid thing that's funny or not?
Yeah.
I had to commit to that one.
Hard.
That's a hard one to commit to.
It's a hard one.
It's a hard one.
I didn't get to meet him beforehand.
Right.
Yeah.
I did a thing later on.
I don't, who knows, because we shot for two days straight.
I did a thing later.
on that I hope they used
because I thought it was super funny that I don't want to say what it is
because they may use it
and it would ruin it.
Oh, okay, all right.
Anyway.
Bobby Boom, come on.
I hope everybody's Monday's going good.
Got a big week here over to lunchbox now with the Bonehead story.
Bobby Bone Show.
Bonehead.
Story of the day.
This story comes to us from Washington.
A man walked up to an ATM machine
was going to try to get some money out,
pulls out the ATM card, slides it in.
Oh, ATM's not working.
He gets mad, tries to light it on fire, causes about $700 worth of damage.
Oh, no.
Only problem is, he left his ATM card in there so I knew who he was.
Oh, that's funny.
I'm Lunchbox. That's your Bonehead story of the day.
It's time for the good news.
With Lunchbox.
Stay home there's something good.
Fez is walking down the street.
He's 17 years old, and he looks up, and he sees a two-year-old hanging from a window.
Wow, wow, wow.
The two-year-old knocked out the screen.
my mom was cooking, wasn't paying attention.
Two-year-old comes tumbling out of the window.
And Fez, boom, catches the two-year-old down on the street, two stories down.
Crazy.
Now they're calling them Fez good hands.
You don't even want to know that's about to happen.
Like, there's probably a lot of pressure if you see a kid and you're, like, getting ready for it.
But if it's just reacting right, I bet you have a much better shot because you're just going.
Like, he just sees it and catches it, right?
Yeah, he didn't know.
Like, he just walking do-do-do-do.
Looks up.
But good catch.
Man.
Good hands, Fez.
What about that mom who's like, you just caught my baby?
Like, whatever you need for me.
Kidney.
Mm-hmm.
A big toe.
Ten bucks.
Yeah.
And now Fez is the Godfather.
Oh, maybe.
They didn't say that.
They didn't say it was named Godfather, but maybe that's coming.
That very good.
All right, there you go.
That was Tell Me Something Good.
Folks, it's your buddy and mine.
Mr. Bobby Bones.
Let's go.
Transmitting across America.
This is the Bobby Boll.
I'll play you the theme to a classic TV show.
All you have to do is name the show.
Mighty puts this game together.
A Mike D. Special.
Yeah, so what we're going to do is ready for the game.
Yeah.
I write your answer down.
Can you name this classic, classic TV show?
Here you go.
I'm in.
I'm in?
Amy?
Alfred Hitchcock?
No.
Lunchbox.
I'm hoping they made this into a TV show.
Jaws.
No.
Old Eddie, know it.
Old Eddie, wow.
Oh, my goodness.
Wow, wow.
Eddie is the oldest member of the show.
Old Eddie.
And Old Eddie does know it.
Twilight Zone.
They also remade it with Jordan Peel recently.
Yeah.
All right.
Okay, no one got that one.
I think I know who's going to win this classic TV show.
Don't be hating.
They're going to be haters.
You mean the most classic person on the show?
I got.
Read.
All right.
Here we go.
Next up, name this classic team.
TV show.
Yeah.
Jay is White.
I'm able to win.
Amy?
This isn't it, but Beverly Hillbillies.
Lunchbox.
Have you ever seen the movie? It's really sad.
This is the Jetsons.
Is it?
Oh, wow.
Gershow.
Eddie?
The Jetsons.
Yeah, and might you check out the Jetsons
because it's like,
Meet George Jetson.
That's right.
Yeah, and then it goes.
I'm like, that's what
Elroy is what made me think of the Beverly Hill
illies.
No, Elroy's not the
Beverly Hillbillies.
Yeah.
It is a name.
Sounds.
Yeah.
All right, ready for this one?
Name the classic show.
Amy?
Flintstones.
Yeah, there you go.
Let's box.
Flintstones.
Yeah, there you go.
Let's box.
Flintstones.
Eddie?
Flintstones.
There you go.
Have a gay all time.
What's the clamp it?
Now I'm wondering, it's not Elroy,
Leroy, um, on the Beverly Hillbillies.
Yeah.
Okay, there we go.
Let's do.
Let's do a couple more.
Name this classic show.
Oh, gosh, what is this?
Jeannie.
No, good guess so.
Still old school naked night, but yeah.
Lunchbox?
I put I love Lucy.
I have no idea.
Wow, shoot.
And Desi Arnett.
Eddie?
That's what I put too, though.
I love Lucy.
Corruption it.
All right, a little more contemporary, just a little bit more.
Bown, down, bam.
Dude, this is a jam.
Bam, down.
Get that sacks ready.
Big court.
Yes.
Yeah.
Lunchbox?
Night court.
Eddie?
Night court.
Nice job.
And the final score is,
Eddie's the big winner.
There he goes.
Shuckers.
Hey, me don't be a hater.
Come on.
Hashtag old Eddie.
Hashtag old Eddie.
That's rude.
What?
Like, I've never seen an episode of Twilight.
No, right.
Okay.
Favorite show growing up.
Growing up.
Eddie, congratulations, buddy.
Monday off Friday, right?
The Bobby Bon Show.
Our video producer Eddie was saying, it's kind of awkward now when you go, hey, how's it going?
And someone tells you and it's not good.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
It's like, it's just a greeting that you tell them, but you don't expect someone to be like, no, it's not so good.
So lunchbox went out with a hidden microphone, and people would ask, how are you lunch, and you'd kind of spill the Saturday.
Yeah, I'd give them bad news.
Like, I'm having a bad day and make it very awkward for them because.
They're just expecting you to say the usual, oh, it's good.
How about yourself?
Yeah, here we go.
How are you?
Come home from work, and my wife left me and knows that I love you, but I don't know if I'm in love with you.
And she said, and just so you know, I took the dog to the pound because it peed on the carpet.
Maybe I got a coupon or something I can put on there for you.
Oh, I'm so sorry.
It's going to be all right.
All right.
Thank you.
It might be a blessing in disguise.
Yeah, thank you very much.
She went full-fledged therapist.
All she did was say, how are you?
That's amazing.
And lunch doubles up on her, too.
Not just one sad story.
He's like, sad note and dog to the pound.
How are you?
Come home from work, and my wife left me a nose, said.
Oh, from my, how are you?
Okay.
Here's another one.
There's lunchbox out.
People would be, hey, how's it going?
How are you?
Hello, how are you?
Flat tire.
Oh, no.
Yeah, and then I get a call from.
church camp and the kid got mad at another kid and peed on his bed so he's kicked out of church camp
what i'm sorry it's got to be a broader side top the child who was booted from church camp
will get an understanding that you just cannot pee on somebody else's bed thanks i hope you have a
better day than me lesson learned uh one more someone says hey how are you and lunchbox hits him
with the well the sad story how are you doing it's been one of those days i like my keys in my car
So then I'm late to work and my boss tells me,
you're pretty much an idiot.
You might want to start looking for another job.
And then I ran out of gas.
Well, it sounds like someone doesn't value their employees.
Yeah.
Thank you so much.
She called a friend.
All I do is say, how are you?
The head of all of our digital, meaning social media website,
is Morgan number two.
How old are you, Morgan, number two?
I'm 25.
25 years old.
And everyone always wonders about your dating life.
What's happening now?
Well, I just had a situation come up that I'm on a dating app, which obviously you can swipe right or, you know, left on somebody.
And I had swiped right on a guy.
And the first thing he says to me is, this can't be real.
And then the next text was, I love me some Bobby Bones.
And I was like, oh, gosh.
Oh, that's funny.
Oh, yeah.
You think you're catfishing by saying you work with the show?
I don't know.
But he, like, got excited because he's like, oh, like, I don't think this is the real you.
but if it is, like, I love Bobby
and I'm like, great.
That would be, I think the guy would be like,
because you're attractive, I'd be like,
I don't need this is the real you because you're hot,
more so than it would be like, because you work for.
No, now she always has to question
if this guy just wants to, like, meet you.
Yeah.
And they all do every single one so far,
so I just kind of.
I'm out of place, but I don't know what to do.
Well, I'm just saying it's similar of a different.
I feel like I went through the same thing.
We were looking for people to help us with our kids.
Like, and?
Because if they disclose that they were a fan of Bobby, I was like, er.
Okay, listen, it's a great problem to have, right?
It's a wonderful problem to have.
Because then it's like, do you really care about my kids?
And Morgan's like, do you really want to date me?
Or are you just trying to meet Bobby?
Okay, this is a ridiculous topic.
But let me just say this.
Imagine me and me.
And I'm not asking for a pity party, but whatever you guys are experiencing right there.
Oh, okay.
Times 10,000.
That's why I can't date anybody.
But at least it's you.
At least they're coming for you.
They're not trying to get through you to get to you.
Yeah, we're like the liaison.
That's fun.
Well,
or something like that.
Nobody really cares, right?
Nobody really cares.
Did you go out with the dude?
No, I kind of just stopped responding.
I didn't really know what to say.
He's a fan of the show.
Why?
I just kind of was like, ha-ha, like, cool.
And then I just kind of was like, I'm, you know, moving on.
I don't know.
You guys the problems are so dumb.
I just don't know what's genuine anymore
And I'm like, why am I going to keep doing this?
So honestly, one of the first things I do
When I match with somebody or meet somebody
Is I go and look at their social media
To see if they're following the show
Or anybody on the show
If they don't, they get through
But then if they don't, are you just like,
Why don't you like the show?
Because I'll do that.
I'll be like, let me go see if the person following me
If they're not, I'll be like,
What, they don't think our show's good?
Yeah.
It's not fair.
I know because maybe they don't know about you
I know.
I know.
Well, that's like, that is what they call
a...
Conundrum.
No.
I was going to say like a...
What is the chanine problem?
Yeah.
You know, you can't swipe
because people are too much fans
of your show.
Of your work.
So what's going on?
You date anybody at all?
No, I went on a second date
with a guy.
Not sure, though.
I just...
I'm not really excited about anybody.
After, like, the last guy
I kind of talked to,
I kind of got discouraged again.
I feel like I'm kind of back
to being a little dead heart.
Oh, boy.
Deadheart Morgan number two is back.
That's a rough Morgan number two.
And if people want to get at you, they need to?
Follow me on Instagram, probably.
But if they're listening to the show right now,
and they shouldn't.
And then they're not going to follow.
And then if they follow you on Instagram, then that's of strike.
How do you want to meet someone more?
Good question.
Yeah, thank you.
Does the most desirable way for you to happen to meet someone is?
Probably through a friend.
Like, if one of you guys know somebody that wants to date or is looking to date
and they would be a good match with me, that would probably be the best way.
Okay.
Amy?
What?
Do you do most desire?
I guess you're not good.
I'm like, what's your question?
Mine has always been the same way.
Like, I find I'd meet someone in an airport.
Yeah.
Yeah, that's your like fantasy land.
Yeah.
It's not a fantasy.
It is a fantasy.
I got way better fantasies than that.
Okay.
Give us the best one.
All I mean, that's how.
All I'm wearing is a grape leaf, right?
I'm in a garden, right?
That's not what I meant by fantasy.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
But I just meant like that's the odds of that happening.
I met a girl on an airplane
Flight attendant
Right
We went out
Yeah
Where is she now?
What Eddie?
She was cool
I liked her
You only knew her from Instagram
I just met her
Oh you did
When the raging idiots
Played the Grandal Opry
She was with me
It was the night she was in town
Oh
Yeah she was really nice
But by nice
Eddie didn't really talk to her that much
No she was very friendly
And beautiful
Yeah she was pretty
Yes
Yeah her Instagram pictures
Were very pretty
Morgan number two
Good luck
I hope you find a person
who's not a fan of the show
but a fan of the show once they finally do get to hear it for the first time.
Can one of you guys set me up with somebody?
I don't like sending out friends.
Maybe you need to meet someone that doesn't even have Instagram.
Yeah, like an indigenous.
My husband doesn't?
Like an indigenous person.
Well, he has some fake one of you.
Someone that lives off the land.
Yeah, yeah.
Let's go walk through Wyoming.
All right.
Well, that's where we are.
Thank you.
Morgan number two, thank you.
Thank you for being vulnerable with us this time.
Wait.
Sorry, go ahead, Amy.
What's your age range?
so that if you want to meet someone through friends,
like we need to know what we need to look out for.
I mean, probably like, I guess,
like someone in their early 30s, maybe like 33.
Oh, she does like people.
Older guys.
Like Sylvester Stallone.
Oh, she loves Sylvester Stallone.
That's right.
Okay.
So he's like 60.
Yeah, so anyone between 60 and 25.
My dad's single.
I don't know.
How old are your dad?
He's back on the market?
I just think, like, given his health circumstances,
is the last year. I don't know that he gets... He sees his girlfriend.
But your dad already knows who he is. He's good. Perfect match.
They still hang out, I think, but he can't really go to all her social functions and they were good
companions and now he's just kind of... They're just... I don't know what they are. I'm just saying.
Morgan was my stepmom.
It's time for the good news.
With Amy. Tell me something good.
The story is so cool and it's going to make you want a metal detector really bad.
So this woman, she's 94 years old.
she's in a nursing home.
She was talking about how she lost her wedding ring, like 50 years ago when she was gardening.
Well, this guy was there visiting his mom who's in the nursing home, and he is a metal detector enthusiast.
So when he overheard her, he was like, hey, just out of curiosity, where were you gardening 50 years ago?
She gave him the address where she lived.
He took his metal detector, went to the spot wherever she garden, and he found it, found the ring.
Again, 50 years later, it was back in 1970-something.
pretty cool.
I think it was like five inches below the ground or something.
Wow. That's crazy.
Yeah.
And I know we've told it before, but one time Amy lost her ring in the yard.
And then winter hit and snowed and iced.
And she's like, well, I lost my wedding ring.
My husband's Afghanistan, so I never even told him.
And then she's like, I guess the earth has thawed.
Let me go see if it.
And it's there.
I went and rented a metal detector.
I know.
And I found it.
That's a good story.
though, I like that. And he found the ring. 50 years.
Yeah.
That far underneath the ground.
What's more crazy? That one, or Amy's?
Amy's pretty crazy.
Yeah. It was so hard to drive away, too, because it was winter. I left for the winter,
because my husband was deployed.
She migrated.
And I lived north of Arizona. And y'all all lived in Austin, so I came back to do the show
with y'all in Austin and lived with my mom. And we just had to drive away because we had
to go. My mom's like, it's fine. You'll find it. The season's changed, and there was.
See?
Okay.
Thank you, Amy.
That's what's all about.
That was tell me something good.
Folks, it's your buddy and mine.
Mr. Bobby bones.
Let me go over to Amy and get the morning corny here on a Monday.
The morning corny.
What kind of tree fits in your hand?
I know this one.
That's a good one.
Yeah, I know too.
What kind of tree fits in your hand?
A palm tree.
There it.
It's got a good.
Pam.
Yeah.
All right.
Coming up, what songs Amy's kids are obsessed with right now?
I'm always curious about their musical tastes.
Yeah.
And also, Lunchbox will guess your weight all on the way.
That's the corny, though.
That was the morning corny.
The Bobby Bones show.
What songs are your kids obsessed with right now?
So right now, Stasheera is obsessed with BB Rexas.
I'm a mess.
Yeah.
Yeah.
When they get obsessed, how do they hear the song?
What do they do?
Alexa.
Oh.
Listen to it so much?
I mean, yeah.
I mean, I'm into it because she listens to it, but she'll sing it.
Like, even if it's not on, she'll just be walking around in the house.
I'm a mess.
I'm a loser.
And I'm like, no, you're not, honey.
What about your son?
He is constantly, like, 500 times a day asking Alexa to play Old Town Road.
Oh, still?
Yeah.
Yeah.
The horses in the bag.
Horse stock is attached.
Head is maddy black.
Got the boosters black to mag.
Riding on a horse.
Let's get this party started.
Who does?
Stevenson.
When the song comes on?
I don't know where he got that.
Do your kids listen to country music at all since you work in country music?
Yes.
What do they like?
They like Kane Brown and Thomas Rett a lot.
That's what they asked for.
But then, I mean, Stasheera is more so into the pop.
Sometimes I don't even know how they hear of songs.
But, I mean, they're good at it.
They'll pick it up if they hear it in a store or whatever.
They'll go home and they'll just say some words to Alexa, like whatever words they thought.
and then they'll be like, Mom, can you Google this to figure out the title?
They're always very interested in that.
And then once they get hooked on it, that's all they want to hear.
And then they move on.
Eddie, your kids?
Love it. Love country music.
What are they listening to, though?
All music.
All music is pop.
Like, I think their go-to is pop.
Yeah.
And they love all the pop songs.
I think the big one for them right now.
I mean, as a family, we've been listening to a lot of Jonas Brothers.
Oh, yeah.
Sucker.
Sucker.
Love it.
I'm a sucker for you.
That's such a jam.
Yeah.
And that whole album is pretty.
good. Like, I've never listened to Jonas Brothers, but as a whole, it's pretty good because
they've all done different things now in their career, except I think one of them just stayed
home with his wife. Well, there's only three. Right. But did two of them, like Nick did his own
thing, which it sounds a lot like Nick, but then the other brother who did cake by the ocean?
Yeah, Herbie Ocean. Herbie Jones. D&C.
Whatever. Hey, Morgan number two. What are the Jonas names? Kevin is the one that just
his own reality show, right? Yep. And then there's Nick who's married to Priyanka Chopra.
And then Walter Jonas.
No.
And Joe.
And he's the one that's the lead singer also of D&CE and other pop man.
But the new Jonas sounds like all of those, like a hybrid of all that stuff.
There you go.
Yeah.
Lunchbox, you baby listen to anything?
No, whatever's on.
Whatever I put on, he'll dance a little bit to it.
And he doesn't mind the music, but he likes, we introduced him to Sesame Street.
Yeah.
And he kind of likes it.
They know what they're doing because once you turn that on, the kid just sits there mesmerized by the TV.
They're enamored by it.
It's crazy.
Yeah, me too.
Toy Story.
That's all I did.
Lunchbox, do you do that, Baby Einstein?
No, I don't know what that is.
Oh, you should get it.
There is another thing that babies are just enamored by.
Baby Einstein.
Yeah.
It's a real thing.
It's like genius.
Like, they know exactly what babies want to see
and then they made a bunch of money.
I probably talked to some babies.
Probably.
Research.
Baby what you like?
That's a cat.
That's a cat.
The Bobby Ball show.
It is time for another round of.
Lunchbox, guess is your ways.
Woo!
Thank you.
The one guy hype is the guy that's about to be
High. Right, right, right. Yes. No one else cares. We all care. We all kind of sit back in amazement. Lunchbox can talk to you and guess your weight within five pounds. He has 30 seconds. First up is Irene, Massachusetts. Irene, how are you? Good. How are you?
We are fantastic. I appreciate to be in here. Are you ready to have your weight, yes, within five pounds? Yes, I am. Have we ever talked to you before? I've ever met you before.
Nope. Okay, so there's no like history between us or lunchbox. Lunchbox, are you ready?
What's her name? Irene. Irene.
Irene, got it.
Irene in Massachusetts.
And you have 30 seconds. Go ahead.
Action.
Irene, when's the last time you worked out?
I don't know, years ago.
How old are you?
Let's say, four years.
How old are you?
I am 57.
How many grandkids do you have?
Three.
How tall are you?
Five one.
How often do you get in snowball fights in the winter?
I got in one last year.
Okay.
So once.
Right, there you go. Lunchbox.
Now, you've heard that.
The snowball question was solid.
Yeah, because I want to know if in the winter she's just sitting around doing nothing
or she's out there actually playing with the grandkids.
And she said she's only 5 foot 1.
That makes sense.
So she's a shorter lady.
She has to be active because she's got a lot of grandkids.
I'm going to say she weighs 140 pounds.
He says 140.
Irene, what do you weigh?
Oh, my God.
139.
He does it again.
Hey.
Oh, whoa, whoa.
I got so excited I hit the mics.
Oh, he did it again.
He did it again.
He did it again.
Oh, my God.
Oh, we need that clip for this segment.
Yes.
Let me do that.
He did it again.
That's dynamite?
What is that?
That's Usher.
I know, Jay.
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.
Yeah, that one.
Okay.
Oh, that's a good one, too.
Yeah, not bad.
April?
Yes.
You're on with Lunchbox, who will guess your weight within
five pounds. Are you ready, April?
Yes, I am.
April, where are you from?
Florida.
What kind of job do you have?
I flip stock.
I don't know what that means, but how many days a week do you go to the beach?
About four times.
Bikini or one piece?
Two piece.
And what's your favorite fast food restaurant?
I don't have one.
And how many drinks of water do you, how many glasses of water per day?
Four to seven.
How tall are you?
you?
5.5.
And how old are you?
This time.
Now, this is April in Florida.
She even gave you an extra answer.
You get to within 5 pounds, lunchbox?
Ah, man.
She goes to the beach a lot.
She likes to be in that bikini out there.
Four days a week, I think she said.
She likes the son.
Ladies and gentlemen, she weighs 290.
290, he says.
Let's go to April.
290.
April, he says 290.
April, what do you weigh?
294.
Yeah.
I don't know what she said.
What did you say?
$294.
$2.94.
Wow.
Yeah.
Who did you do that?
Wait, what?
The guy is on...
I thought she said $1.94 or $2.94?
$294.
He did it again.
Yeah.
He did it again.
Oh, my God.
Oh.
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, wow.
אח.
We're all doing that.
Okay, April, let's do one more.
Let's do one more.
Let's go over to Lindsay and Virginia.
Lindsay, how are you?
Hi, Bobby.
How are y'all doing?
We're really good.
Would you like to play?
What would I like to play?
Would you like to play?
Oh, yes, definitely.
All right, so guest away at lunchbox, you have on Lindsay and Virginia.
Lindsay, is this your real voice?
Yes, it is.
You really talk like this.
Are you 12?
What about your voice?
Yeah.
You big del.
I'm just making sure she's not disguising her voice.
I like, hey, is your voice.
And she's like, yes, she does.
Well, that sounds stupid.
No one doesn't.
Why does it sound like a little kid's voice?
Yes, to be honest with you, I thought you were like 13.
No, no, I'm 36.
How many kids do you have?
Oh, you're starting.
Oh, here we go, and we're on.
Two, they're actually in the car right now.
How long you've been married?
14 years in November.
What's your favorite kind of Girl Scout cookie?
My favorite, I'm just a smell.
And what kind of shampoo do you use?
I'm sorry, what?
What kind of shampoo do you use?
Oh, sorry, time's up.
Lunchbox is your last one.
You have 30, you've spent 30 seconds with her weight within 5 pounds.
Yeah, she sounds like a little kid, so she's a small lady.
She's got two kids and her kids got to be tiny too.
So she can't weigh but soaking wet.
She's got to be 100 pounds.
A hundred pounds soaking wet, okay?
What is her kids having to be tiny?
I'm actually 101.
He did it again.
Oh, my God.
Oh, oh, oh, oh.
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, my God.
Another one.
Hey, y'all, before we go, my kids would really love to say hi to y'all.
They love y'all.
Put them on a phone.
Come on, let's talk to.
All right, all right.
The little kids.
Say hi.
Hello.
Hello.
Hello.
Hello, mate.
Hello, mate.
How's your day?
You had any strip on to Bobby?
Wood.
Yep.
Yeah
All right
Cheerio
I don't know what happens
Okay I don't either
Now I'm yelling at a kid
Yeah
Lunchbox as always
He did it again
Oh my god
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.
Oh, my God.
Another one.
The Bobby Bone Show.
Hey, Christine in Illinois, how are you?
Hey, I'm good, boss.
How are you?
I'm real good.
Appreciate you talking to me.
What do you want to say?
I love this.
So, you know, we just listened to lunch doing his segment on guessing listeners' weight, and it's, like, the worst.
I don't love the segment, but I can't.
stop listening to him doing the segment, but I'm actually rooting for him to lose every time.
Is that the best?
So, okay.
Well, I'm confused here because there's a positive inflection to your voice, like you enjoyed it,
but you say it's the worst.
Like what, help me out here, because I always want to improve the show based on what the listeners
like and don't like.
So if it comes on, do you change it?
Never.
Okay, so if you were me, though, and someone said they never changed it when you do a segment,
would you keep doing this segment?
Yeah, I mean, you have to
That's the thing about it
I mean, I'm a huge
Obsessed listener of the show
Me and my girlfriend Renee
And my husband
Like, we love it
But this is one segment
That drives us crazy
Like how is it even possible
That he's getting it right?
Okay, but do you want me to stop doing it? Yes or no?
No
Oh, we got it!
All right, listen
Thank you very much, Christine
Tell all your friends
They got a big shout on the radio too
Thank you so much for listening.
I hope you have a great day.
Lunchbox, you did it again.
Another one.
It's time for the good news.
With Bobby.
Tell me something good.
This guy Michael Pruitt.
He was electrocuted, pronounced dead for 20 minutes,
and then miraculously brought back to life.
He's working with the stepdad at a home in Michigan
when a metal ladder he was holding onto
accidentally touched a live electrical wire.
He said he does not remember what happened next.
But the homeowner called 911 and began CPR.
The paramedics continued CPR.
They defibrillated him on the way to the hospital.
Once he arrived, no vital signs still.
Dead for 20 minutes.
But the medical team was one of these where they did not stop.
They just kept on, kept on, kept on, kept on, clear, clear, clear.
And after 20 minutes, it's heart started beating again.
Wow.
And the medical team just refused to give up.
Good for them.
Right?
Mm-hmm.
That's a crazy one, man.
Love it.
That's what the segment's all about right there.
Shout out to that medical team.
Dr. Angel Chudler.
The medical team and the emergency room physician.
Crazy.
She crushed it.
That's awesome.
That was Tell Me Something Good.
Folks, it's your buddy and mine.
Mr. Bobby Bones.
Hope.
Everybody's Monday is good.
We're going to do, I can't stop listening to, okay?
Tell me what it is.
You can't stop listening to.
Amy, you're up first.
I can't stop listening to Blank.
Dan and Che all to myself.
Jam, man.
I want you all to myself.
It's such a good song.
I know.
Such a good.
hour.
My favorite part
coming here.
I want you all
to myself,
to myself.
I'm jealous of a song
that you've been saying.
So what's your
current jam?
I can't stop listening to
Old Dominion.
Some people do.
Oh, yeah.
Some people do.
Some people quit drinking too much.
and some people quit
Some people decide to grow up
But it's never a good time
Most wouldn't forgive
But I'll put you through
But I'm here tonight
Hope and some people do
So good
And Thomas Wrette and Matthew Ramsey
Both rioters of that
And they had to decide who got the song
Thomas Red told us that story
And then Old Dominion got the song
They flipped or they paper like scissors or, you know, whatever.
Okay.
Lunchbox, what can you not stop listening to?
Oh, Blanco Brown, get up.
I want to do the two-step in cowboy, bookies.
Grab a sweetheart and spin out with him.
I follow Blanco on Instagram, and he posts all the videos of people doing the dance.
There are some really, like, inspiring ones, funny ones.
But this is, like, it's so cool to see this thing get massive.
I can't wait to do it somewhere where they just turn it on and I know it already.
I'd be so cool.
It was like the one time I learned
Bar-Naked Ladies one week
and I knew all the words
and they were like, you may know all the words
and I was like, I did.
I nailed it.
Wait, with them?
No, just in general.
Oh, just okay.
Just like in life.
I thought they called you up in concert.
That'd be awesome.
That'd be awesome.
Producer Reddy, you can't stop listening to?
Yeah, I mentioned this earlier
and it hasn't changed.
It's not really my pick,
but my kids, every time I get in the car,
they want to hear sucker by Jonas Brothers.
I'm a sucker for you.
Damn.
So I can't stop listening.
I love the clapping.
I love
Boyle good number two, I can't stop listening to
Beer never broke my heart
Oh yeah, that's good old drinking song
You got a killer
You know a song I've been listening to
And it's not even from his newest record
But from Mr. Misunderstood
The Eric Church song mixed drinks about feelings
Do you know that song?
With Susan Thedesky from the Descott's band
No
My head is spinning
My resolve is a relay
Can tell by the heavy in my heart
I'm going down soon
I know you was fighting to fight
It's no contest tonight
My figure-out has never been more confused
I haven't mixed dreams
About feelings
I love me a slow song.
Yeah, you pick two.
Apart for the course.
Yeah, that's the colds I play, man.
That's it.
I'll put all of them up.
You want to see that?
We'll put that up on Facebook.
You want to see the songs we're jamming out too.
Raymond, do you listen to anything at all?
Just vacation or what?
Yeah.
Just Bay, Bay, Bay, Bay, Bay, Bay.
I think it's what everybody wants to hear.
Are you down for a Bay, Bay, Bay, Bay, Bay, vacation.
Say, let's do it.
Little you and me play, Tom and a couple days.
A Billy Ray, Ray.
You got any money off that song yet?
No.
No, no.
Ray Mundo also isn't the artist of the song.
He has one little, it's a good part.
People are like, play that Ray Mundo hit.
It's like, what's the guy's name?
Eric Dodd.
Yeah, that's his song.
That's his song.
Right, right, right.
Thank you, Ray Mundo.
Celebrity writers are always interesting to me
because what a writer is, if you do a show,
let's say Justin Temberley's going to play somewhere.
and his contracts is the things that he likes
and it has to be put backstage
and you've heard things like green M&Ms
or foot massagers
so whenever you do a show
you get a rider depending on how big you are
right? Yeah. So we're going to do a little
I'm going to give you an artist and we'll talk about what's
on their rider. Okay, what do you have on yours?
Whenever I tour either stand-up or Eddie and I doing
raging idiots I've added one new thing.
Orange slices.
Oh, get that vitamin C?
Well, I just like them.
I don't have to peel them.
Call me Beyonce if you want.
Wow.
So somebody has to...
Cut them up.
Oh, so, yeah, they're just sliced.
Slice.
Yeah, no, yeah.
Take a knife and cut up.
Because I just go like a smiley face with the orange.
Gotcha.
I think we were somewhere and they did it without you asking for it.
And you're like, this is amazing.
I was like, they slice oranges?
Oh my God.
Game changer.
Put it on my writer.
Got it.
Mostly a bunch of water and orange slices and fiber bars.
Pretty much it, huh?
That's pretty much it.
That's pretty much it.
A six pack of beer.
That's about it.
But here we go.
Are you ready?
I'll give you three things, Amy.
And you tell me which one's not on their writer, okay?
Okay.
So Madonna.
A brand new toilet seat at every venue.
Flintstones, chewable vitamins.
Or flowers with stems trimmed to exactly six inches.
Holly, I've heard somebody does that toilet seat thing.
Yeah, Prince Charles.
Oh, Prince Charles.
Okay.
So maybe Madonna does it.
So.
You're looking for the false one here.
Which one does she not do?
The brand-new toilet seat, the Flintstone chewable vitamins, or the flower stems?
The Flintstone chewable vitamins.
She does have kids, though, right?
Oh, true.
Does she?
Your answer is?
Flintstone chewable vitamins?
Boom.
Yeah, she wants a brand-new toilet seat.
Of course.
I don't think she's going to put that extra sugar in her body.
And then she wants flowers trimmed to exactly six inches.
She does not want Flintstone chewable vitamins.
That's actually on Christina Aguilera's writer.
Oh, wow.
Yeah.
You're ready for number two, Amy?
Ready.
Eminem's rider.
Okay, which one does not belong?
He wants 25-pound dumbbells to left weights.
A coy pond for him to look at with a little coy fish.
Or an entirely rotisserie chicken.
The rotisserie chicken.
Well, I would like to have that one no arms, man.
So you think the coy pond and the dumbbells are, that Eminem is?
Yes, he wants to work out before he hits the stage because he'll look bigger.
Yeah.
And then, yeah, it totally seems like.
He would want a koi pond.
So you said the rotisserie chicken.
Yeah.
Whoa!
I'm so good at this.
Wow.
The rotissory chicken is actually on Steve Martin's writer.
That's right.
All right, let's try this one.
Kanye West.
Here are three of them.
Which one does not belong on his writer?
All doorknobs backstage at his hotel must be disinfected every two hours.
A slushy machine that expenses Hennessy and Coke.
Or an $8,000 bed, specific bed that he can take an neck.
naft on. Now, one of those is not real.
Wow. You got the doorknobs, disaffected
every two hours. A slushy machine
that expenses, or dispenses,
or dispenses, Hennessy and Coke, or an $8,000 bed.
What does Kanye drink?
It's a good question.
But, I mean, he might want the Hennessy for his boys.
Like his crew?
His people.
Yeah.
Shoot.
I'm going to, ooh, this is so hard
because all of those just so Kanye.
They're extra. Everything about that's extra.
Which one does he not want?
Oh my gosh.
Tennessee is Kanye.
He doesn't do the Hennessee and Coke slushy thingy.
He does.
Oh, boo!
He does.
What is it?
And he does want the bed.
Oh, it's the doorknobs.
He wants that.
He wants that.
He wants that.
He wants that.
Oh, wow.
I got a couple more.
Drake.
Which one is not on his rider?
Four dozen sticks of incense.
Specifically, Dr. Bronner,
peppermint hand soap
or no more
and no less than 50 shot glasses
exactly 50 shot glasses
Oh my gosh
Which one is not on his rider?
What's the second thing?
The peppermint?
Dr. Bronner's peppermint hand soap
Okay
I'm gonna go with the peppermint soap
No, I'm sorry
It's the shot glasses
He wants the incense and he wants the peppermint soap
The 50 shot glasses is Kevin Hart's writer
Oh.
All right, one more, one more.
Okay, I have to redeem myself.
You like this bit?
Yeah, that's cool.
Fun bit?
Amy?
Fun bit or?
Yeah, I liked it when I was winning.
Go ahead.
Oh.
Rihanna, okay?
Yeah.
I'm going to give you three.
One of them is not on her rider.
White tulips with no foliage whatsoever.
Yeah.
16-ounce bottles of Evian.
Unless the water is for tea, then it must be Poland Spring.
Oh, wow.
Or an animal print throw rug that is very clean so she can walk on a
Barefoot.
Which one's not on?
The animal print one.
No, I'm sorry.
You really bombed out.
Oh.
She does not want the Evian water or the other for tea.
That's Mariah Carey.
Oh.
She does want the tulips and she does want the rug.
Okay.
You nail the first two, then you really struggle at the end.
What would you have on your writer, Amy?
I would have matcha tea, probably, with almond milk.
I would have nooky.
Sorry?
Are you just making them words?
I would have cum blah-blab.
Air fried in an air friar.
And I would dip it in ketchup.
Hey, listen, have y'all ever had it?
Don't know like it's anything.
And then I guess a masseuse.
Can you ask for whatever you want?
Yeah.
You got to pay for it.
It comes out of your money.
Oh.
It does come out of your pay.
Oh, never mind.
I can bring my own macho.

All right.
See, she's still going over there, clearing that throat.
What is that?
Is that like, doctor still don't know what's wrong with you?
No, I'm broken.
She's broke.
Basically.
You know what?
If we're all broken or any of us broken?
Right.
That's right.
That's such speed.
