Starting point is 00:02:12 The Bobby Bones post-show pre-show. I was thinking back to, man, it's been like three or four months ago, when I made the crazy. And again, I was just kind of saying it on air, I was like, hey, man, we should just shut everything down for two months and then start back. I said a long, and people got so mad at me. We've been shut down for two months now. Because you know they were thinking about shutting some stuff down? And I was just like, we should just shut everything down for two months and then come back and cut our losses and realize the two months is going to be bad. But if we drag it out longer, but now we've been shut down for two months.
Starting point is 00:02:41 And with no real end in sight other than probably the next few weeks, certain parts of the country are a bit more relaxed, you know? Yeah. Do you feel like quarantine has flown by? Oh, sometimes it seems so fast. but then other times it's so slow. Like I haven't seen my dad in two weeks, and that feels like forever. But when you're telling me we've been doing this for two months,
Starting point is 00:03:10 I'm like, no way, it doesn't feel like two months. And I guess why it doesn't feel like two months is because all the days kind of blur into each other. Not that we're having so much fun, because I'm not, I would love to be living in normal life. But I'm thinking that the days are just rolling into each other and we're losing track of what's what, and it just seems like it's going by fast.
Starting point is 00:03:27 because of that. And then maybe it's because we get to keep, I don't know, I don't know what, we get to work. If someone that's not working, does it feel a lot slower? I don't know. So, but yeah, we've been locked up now for two months just about, which is crazy to think back then if we knew we'd be locked up. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And you're locked up with a pretty new girlfriend, so it's like, I'm, I think it would
Starting point is 00:03:52 be going slower if you didn't have Caitlin? I would think so, but I don't think it's moving. not slow because of fun or not fun. I think everything's just blurring together. Because you know Einstein's relativity. You put a hand on a hot stove for a minute. It feels like an hour. You sit with a pretty girl for an hour.
Starting point is 00:04:10 Feels like a minute. That's not Einstein's theory of relativity. He said that? I don't know. Google it. Where did you get that? Why did you say that? That is relativity.
Starting point is 00:04:22 Because I thought that Einstein said that. How does that convert into E equals M3? C squared. Well, E. Hey, Einstein had other things than that. I was reading a story about how many quotes that is credited to Albert Einstein. He never said, like most of them. Oh, wow.
Starting point is 00:04:37 Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, I don't know. Fact check that, Mike D. Okay. I'm going to bet you Einstein never said that. But you may be right. I'm not arguing it because I'm not for sure.
Starting point is 00:04:51 But then again, things like the NFL. Are you guys talking about on your sports show, lunchbox, the NFL, because they're not going to come back on time. I don't think they are, but I never thought they were. Do you guys think, you think they're coming back on time? I don't think they're coming back on time. And we talked about Major League Baseball, not having a season, and I don't think the NBA is coming back at all. But Eddie's convinced football is going to be around. I do. I don't think we're going to see it the way we used to see it, you know, with crowds or whatever, but I feel like they've got, what, four months to get it all together and figure it out. And yeah, I think we can start it.
Starting point is 00:05:21 The problem with that is the four months to get it all together is four months that they would take actually executing things to get to the next level, which eventually that level ends up where the season starts. Does that make sense? Like you have to go through camp. You got to go through ABC, D, EFG to get to day one. Now they could smash a lot of that together and do it quickly, but if you're a professional football player, do you want to get together to get ready real quick and risk your body not being in the shape it's supposed to be trained for? So, yeah, that's the problem is do you risk it? Are you willing to put that on the line?
Starting point is 00:06:00 But then there's people like, you know, guys coming out of college, it's like, hey, we want to go. But then there's guys that have been in the NFL like, whoa, whoa, whoa, we'll take our time. We're cool. Like, we got money. Well, they're walking through some scenarios now. I was watching college NFL talk about this where it,
Starting point is 00:06:14 I would bet the NFL plays some sort. I would say college is probably 50-50 in the next, you know, six months. I think the NFL, though, that is a business. They will find a way to play games of some sort, with no crowds, with quarantining people, maybe switching up some divisions, starting later. But right now they're saying they're talking about a regular season starting as late as October 15th, which is great. As long as we know it's coming, if they could finally go, hey, we feel good about what it is today. We feel so good today that we see in two months,
Starting point is 00:06:47 we can start a season. I think we just want to see light at the end. Right now there is no light at the end because everything keeps going to move back. I think with college is different because You can't call a student athlete if schools aren't going, but college football is playing. You're obviously not going to have fans in the stance. But the NFL's a business. So you're not having to call them students. Well, but colleges make so much money off of games and fans. But they say it's from the amateurs.
Starting point is 00:07:15 It's not a business. They try to position it not as a business as a, it's amateur athletes, you know, competing. They don't say, hey, we're a business like the NFL. The NCAA is all about that argument. We are student-athlete, student-first. And if there are no students going regularly, how are they going to make the athletes go and do stuff? So, again, I would just like to see at some point when they can target dates,
Starting point is 00:07:42 meaning like cities are opening up with target dates. Hey, if 14 days it doesn't go up, we open to this level. And they do the same thing with the NFL. Hey, if these certain places aren't going up, we start training camp. And then if it doesn't go up, we move to level two. But there's so much that we still don't know about it. And I saw yesterday, I saw three doctors, two from the White House, say they think now that Corona is going to pop back up worse in the winter.
Starting point is 00:08:14 And if that starts to be the case, then nobody's going to do anything. We're not having sports forever. Just like, yeah, just need to prepare my brain. for 2021. Yep. But Bones, you kind of like this a little bit though, huh? Like, do you like the isolation in a weird way? Well, I find ways to be effective regardless of my circumstances.
Starting point is 00:08:43 I think, and I've said before, I think I'm working now more than ever, just not traveling and working in a different way. It's way more thinking work than it is flying around places and being on. creating show concepts for, you know, TV shows. I have a show that we think we're going to get to start shooting, like a TV show, we haven't been able to announce yet, that I have my own show. Hopefully we think we can start in like July or August.
Starting point is 00:09:12 But we haven't announced it yet because I actually haven't signed the actual deal deal yet. We've agreed to, I guess, to everything. That's crazy. But I haven't signed it, which I haven't made a big deal about it yet. But for the first time, if every, it's been delayed already. but for the first time ever I'll have my own show.
Starting point is 00:09:26 It's going to be amazing. So we'll see. But, you know, I'm doing the Opry still. I'm doing the radio show. I'm doing the trivia show, the game show that I made up that's now starting to get some legs on it.
Starting point is 00:09:40 Like, if people are hitting me up to go, hey, do we want to put this on TV? Do you want to turn this into a syndicated radio show? A syndicated radio game show? So, you know, I always think whenever the water is pushing one way, if you can find a way to get in a boat and go the other, whenever the water stops rolling,
Starting point is 00:09:59 you're so much stronger and you're so much more ahead of everything else. So I'm just using this as a time to grow different parts of me. I've been writing, been reading. Same crap. Is that what you were asking? Yeah. I meant more, you know, in the, not the economical sense, but the more like a germ all by yourself in your house.
Starting point is 00:10:18 Oh, that's what you meant. Oh. But that's good. And I like that, you know, kayak going against the river kind of thing, paddle. I mean, I get that. You're that much further up the river, man, when the water stops rolling. So the germ stuff, fine. I've always been a germaphove.
Starting point is 00:10:35 I know. That's why this is right up your alley. When we get out, I'm already going to be conditioned for not shaking hands. I'm like, I never shook hands. It was not a big deal to me. I guess I did occasionally. The weird thing with shaking hands is you have to, if someone already has their hand out to shake your hands,
Starting point is 00:10:51 hand, you have to shake their hand because you can't throw the dapp up after the hand is how. But what I've gotten good at is I walk up pretty much leading with the dapp because then they already know and it's not weeded. And that's the advice I give people now. I'm basically a handshaking consultant. They're like, what do you do other than shake hands? I'm like, well, I prefer to bow, honestly. But people want to shake hands. So when they do, instead of having that awkward, ooh, not shaking because of corona, whenever we do get out of our houses. You go, when you walk up, the first thing you do is put your fist out there. It drops any sort of weirdness about, are we going to touch hands?
Starting point is 00:11:29 And you know, the elbow is fine, but that's just weird to go at somebody with the chicken wing. What about the foot? The foot tap. And also weird because they won't even see it. Weird. The only time I foot tap is underneath the stall in the public restrooms. You're dumb. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:11:47 You know what's weird to me, though? When I was watching like 8 Mile, like just seen people in a crowd. Yep. On TV, in my mind just can't handle it. It's like even though I know it's fake and it's on TV like at a different time, it looks so weird to me. I have the same problem. I'm like, why are they all hanging out right now?
Starting point is 00:12:08 Don't they know about coronavirus? No, Bat Rabbit, don't hug her. What are you doing? It is weird to see. Who would have thought? I mean, a year ago, you told us we'd all be locked in our houses for two months. No way. Even the headlines.
Starting point is 00:12:21 If you just take a second and pause your life and look at the headline and go, if you had told me five years ago to wake up and see this headline and go back to sleep and they go back to five years ago, I wouldn't have believed it. Like the reporters are doing reporting with masks on.
Starting point is 00:12:34 Like they're like, all right, they got a mask covering on their face. It looks like they're in the middle of Chernobyl. Yeah. And what's weird to me about the reporters doing it is there's nobody near them and they're doing it. It's like driving in your car with a mask on. Yeah, explain that to me.
Starting point is 00:12:51 You don't need the mask if you're driving in the car If there's nobody in there, yeah, yeah, yeah. It looks cool, though. Like, don't forget that one. It's like sunglasses inside. Yeah. That is what it is. They're like the sunglasses inside people.
Starting point is 00:13:05 Because I don't get it. And sometimes even in the, I don't know if it's the same thing for the reporter, but like all the White House people, I mean, they're being tested all the time and they're next to each other. Like if Dr. Fauci's up there and Donald Trump and they're all clear to be next to each other, but what about the reporters? I would assume they don't let them in, maybe, unless they've been tested.
Starting point is 00:13:28 But some reporters have no masks and then others are like, so, Dr. Susser, I can't understand what they're saying. And I'm like, take your mask off. You're literally six feet from... Anybody. Further from everybody. And I doubt you're even let in the White House
Starting point is 00:13:43 press room if... You're not checked. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, again, masks aren't for you. They're to protect other people. well yeah or for you to keep yourself from touching your face in case you've touched it yes that's yeah um have you guys talked about on the sore losers if you would go to a game right now yeah we've talked about that yeah how'd that turn out i said no chance
Starting point is 00:14:05 eddie eddie said a few months right what'd you say well i right now is just no man you can't even think that way like i i can't even put my mind in a place where like i would be in a place where somebody's sitting next to me on both sides that i don't even know like it's just too weird. And then we both kind of agree that we don't go to a lot of games anyway, so we can handle not doing it for a little bit. Yeah. I think I'd wait for a vaccine before I'd go to a game. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. What about you, Bones?
Starting point is 00:14:32 I'm not going to a game anyway. Unless that's a Razorback game, and I'm, I've been spoiled the last few years. Like, I ain't going to a game anyway. Unless, yeah, yeah, it's too cold. Football games are too cold for me. I'm old. The whole thing. I like watching my TV. I like listen to who I want to talk, commentate about it. to go to my food in my refrigerator, all of that. Anyway, even before Corona.
Starting point is 00:14:54 And now I might get Corona at a game. I got to pay to Park and maybe get Corona. I'm out. That stinks. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So, okay. Anything else? We do talk about Amy's dad getting out of quarantine.
Starting point is 00:15:09 I had that note about the NFL. By the way, you can listen to those guys talk on the sore losers podcast. Sore losers podcast. The juvenile headline of the day is Wiener Schnitz. has a new World of Weeners menu. Can you imagine you pull up the menu and you're 12 and it's the World of Weeners? Oh, you'd love it.
Starting point is 00:15:28 That would be the greatest menu I'd ever seen. That would just be able to say, world of weaners and laugh about it. Or I feel like Lunchbox gave me this menu and that movie he told me to watch. Box of Moonlight. It was basically World of Wieners. Man, I cannot believe you're such a hater of that movie, dude.
Starting point is 00:15:43 It showed male genitalia over and over again. No female, by the way. Look. July 16th, 2012, Entertainment Weekly put it on the list of 50 best movies you've never seen. 50. Yeah, Entertainment Week. Yeah, apparently there's 50. If Entertainment Weekly likes it, then it's a good movie.
Starting point is 00:16:03 They know what they're doing over there. Okay. Not 500 best ever, but 50 you've never seen. 50 movies you've maybe never heard of and if you have nothing else to do, you might want to watch it. They let the intern write that one. Yeah. Written by L-Box. It's one I interned, us weekly.
Starting point is 00:16:25 Wiener Schnitzel's offering a new world of Wieners menu. You can find out what weeners taste like in other countries. Oh my gosh, what? What? Leave me alone. Okay. Let me see I got that. Okay, wait, are we going to get to, did we fact check my Einstein quote?
Starting point is 00:16:42 Do we need to? Okay, Mike D. Yeah, apparently it is an Albert. I did not. Go ahead. Are you sure it's not one of the ones accredited? Well, I couldn't find if it was, like, accurate, but they do have it down as the Albert Einstein quote. So he could have been drunk at a bar or something.
Starting point is 00:16:58 He's like, Einstein told me this. It's pretty funny. Put your hand on a hot stove for a minute. It seems like an hour. Sit with a pretty girl for an hour. It seems like a minute. You could be right. I didn't argue.
Starting point is 00:17:09 I'm just telling you. But I'm saying I would bet against it. I would bet that that's one of those ones credited to him fakily. But, hey, I've been wrong before. Hold on. I just pulled up an article from 2012. I have been wrong before, according to Entertainment Weekly, 50 times you didn't know Bobby's been wrong through the years.
Starting point is 00:17:26 You made the list. I made the list. I'm barely ever right, so that's why I wanted it to be checked. I was like, oh, shoot, I don't know. Fact-check it. But that's how I do see you with your quarantine with Caitlin. I feel like it might be going by faster because you have, you know, it has been, I'm sure.
Starting point is 00:17:45 It's been great. It's been great. I think I would probably be a lot better at NBA 2K if she wasn't here. That's all I would do when I had free time was go and play video games. Hey, Ramundo, what were you asking about me getting invited to reality TV stuff? Yeah, so I follow these kids that are all on Big Brother, all the reality shows, Amazing Ray's Survivor, and it almost seems like a fraternity. So I was wondering, since you were on Dancing with the Stars, I know now there's not all these rap parts.
Starting point is 00:18:17 parties when seasons end and movie premieres and stuff like that, but do you get invited to just crazy amounts of stuff in the reality TV world? Like I heard it's like just this basically an underground frat house that you guys are just part of this huge network that's throughout our country that nobody knows about. Sounds like a fight club, doesn't it? Like you don't talk. Yeah. You get invited to do other things, sure. But for me, I'm working on current things. So I don't, so I don't do that. That's kind of like the last resort. You also see people grow out of that. Like some of the people that go on The Bachelor and Bachelorette do grow out and do their own things.
Starting point is 00:18:55 Like Sean Booth, for example, has his own gyms and he's not trying to be part of that Bachelor crew. Because if you're part of the Bachelor crew, like all those people that run together, people are like, oh boy, here they come. But if you take that as just a platform and jump from it, like Sean Booth has done. Caitlin Bristow has done a good job at that. I don't know her from The Bachelor or Bachelorette. I only know her for other work that she's done. Elizabeth from Survivor was one of the first people to do that to where she had the Survivor platform
Starting point is 00:19:22 but then she went on the view and then she became something other than that so I do get invited to a lot of stuff for different reasons one because I can give people publicity like for radio we can invite at all kinds of stuff is somebody on the toilet I don't do anything I swear but I'm not in that reality
Starting point is 00:19:45 world because I have other things I'm working on. All right. That's mostly people who don't have anything else to do. Got it. Okay. Is that it? Yeah. All right.
Starting point is 00:19:58 Are you disappointed by that? Yeah, honestly, I thought there was going to be like, yeah, there's text chains. Like somebody would be like, hey, hop on this plane. Well, I know not right now because of quarantine, but I heard that it was just like, all bunch of us are getting on this, a private boat. If anybody wants to jump on, it's a bunch of the reality kids, like, if you guys want to come. What? A private boat.
Starting point is 00:20:15 boat? Like right now in coronavirus? No, no, not during quarantine, but it was just a really question that's been on my mind a little while and I thought why I was bringing it up now. Well, the joke is you can go on a reality show and then be an influencer for the next few years until that goes away. And that's mostly who's getting on boats,
Starting point is 00:20:32 influencers who have some influence now because they have followers. But there's really not just a click of people they want on it. I mean, you don't have a boat in like 12 free spaces and go, we should just invite people from the Bachelor. So I hate to disappoint you. I'm not a part of that.
Starting point is 00:20:48 And also, I went on dancing with stars. I didn't, I don't, you know, most of us had other jobs, you know? Yeah. Okay, sorry, bud. All good, all good. All right. Now we know what's inside of Ray's brain all the time. Yeah, I think I'm on his mind for a long time.
Starting point is 00:21:05 I think I took it a direction he didn't want to go. I think he started to get sad like halfway through it. Okay. I think that's it. Everyone, thank you. I'm done. I'm pretty much through all my papers. The only two stories that I'm going to maybe do tomorrow are a sour patch
Starting point is 00:21:24 Chips-a-oy thing for, we'll talk about, Morgan, do you have this in your food world or do I just have this? Oh, she's down. Sorry, I turned her down. Okay. Yes, I send it in food world. Okay. Then we'll do that. We'll try to get that on tomorrow, if not on the show, in this post-show.
Starting point is 00:21:43 And then a bunch of people are watching my Running Wild episode. on Disney Plus, and we have, I haven't. Morgan has curated a list of questions that people are asking, so I'll answer those two. Okay, enjoy today's show. We'll see you tomorrow. I think you'll like tomorrow show. Kenny Chesney will be on, but this show today, we have Ingrid Andrus and Dirk Spintley, aka Doug Doug Douglinson. Enjoy, bye everybody. Bye everybody. Starting point is 00:24:30 That's AMU. APUS.org.org. EDU slash military. Hey guys, good morning and welcome to the show. We've got a good one. I was reading this story before I came on the air about T-Pain. Amy, the story is T-Pain says he finally found out his wife poops because she used to wait until he left the house to always do number two. But now they're quarantining.
Starting point is 00:25:04 She can't and has to do number two. Okay, why are you telling me this? I wonder why the big delay in speaking back, because you don't, you guys don't do that at your house. You don't like talk about that. What? Yeah, because my husband doesn't like to talk about it. He's the one that we're maybe now I just, it's the opposite. What do you mean? Like, I'm just now learning that he does. Like, I'm the opposite of T-Pain's household.
Starting point is 00:25:35 Uh, yeah. Quote, I finally found out that my wife poops. He joked from his isolation at his home in Atlanta. We've been married for 17 years, but I think she waits to poop till I go on the road. Now that I haven't been on the road, she just got to do it. So that's pretty interesting. That's funny. I got pee checked yesterday, by the way. My girlfriend hid my Peloton shoes, and she was like, you can't get back on the bike until I see your pee doesn't have blood in it. And I peed, and I was like, all right, it almost felt like whenever they drug test an athlete and they want to be there when you pee, she just wouldn't take my word for it. So I pee, and then she came in and looked at it. It was like, all right, no blood.
Starting point is 00:26:12 You're able to ride your bike again. But I can only ride it up to a certain speed. Is that weird or no? I mean, no, she just cares about you. It's weird when you really think about it, but I'm glad she was trying to keep you from working out if you're not healthy enough to do so. Well, she also knows that I'll go work out.
Starting point is 00:26:31 I probably would have not stopped. I'd been like, I'm fine. If it does it again, then I'll stop for a day or two. But I did that yesterday. I also saw another story as I was coming on the air about Universal, the movie group. They were the first studio to jump on having movies go straight to streaming during coronavirus.
Starting point is 00:26:47 they made $100 million alone just by releasing the new trolls movie. But AMC movie theaters, they're not happy. And so AMC, which is the world's largest theater chain, says it will no longer play any movies from Universal Studios. Isn't that wild? We got a feud in the movie world. The company said yesterday it would no... Okay.
Starting point is 00:27:07 What? Well, nothing. My first thought is, okay, so you're telling me, if they come out with another trolls movie during a non-pandemic time period, they're not going to show it in their theater? I don't think so. That's what it says.
Starting point is 00:27:19 Yeah, right. They're going to. Universal is planning to release more movies, both in theaters and direct-to-home formats after the success. They have Judd Apatowis, the king of Staten Island, coming at June 12th. Universal responded that its goal is to entertain people sheltered at home and still believes in the theatrical experience and has made no comment to the contrary. I said pre-pandemic, probably two years ago, that in the next 10 years, we would see the death of movie theaters because nobody wants to go to somewhere gross and sit when they can watch it at home. and you all laughed at me.
Starting point is 00:27:48 Now I didn't predict the pandemic. No, no. Go ahead. I feel like you've been saying that for 10 years? 7 years. Stop it. Yeah, wait long.
Starting point is 00:27:57 You just said, no, no, no, no, no. I'm giving you credit. You have been saying that for years and years, not just the last two years. I'm pretty sure when we, before, when we lived in Austin, you were saying that. So that was easily almost eight years, seven, eight years ago?
Starting point is 00:28:12 I just, I don't even know. I couldn't see a future where people were going to a shared room. with germs everywhere to watch a movie when it could be easily sent to your house. But here's the thing, Eddie, our video producer, Eddie has, Eddie how old your son? He's 12. He loves movies, right? Loves movies, loves movie theaters. I mean, he's all about it.
Starting point is 00:28:31 And you talk to him about this? Yeah, because I saw the headline and I said, I want to know what he thinks about it. He's such a movie fan. So, yeah, here it is. I just rolled on the phone. Okay. So if Universal Movies aren't allowed to be played in the theater, are you still going to want to go to the theater?
Starting point is 00:28:45 Do you like the theater versus watching a movie at home? Yeah, I'm still going to go to the theater because they haven't been in Disney yet. I like Disney better. But what's better about going to the theater than watching at home? The crowd, I guess. You like watching the movie with a crowd,
Starting point is 00:28:58 like with it been a big group. Uh-huh. And the popcorn's really good. I don't know if you're right. I think it's more popcorn and candy. You can get popcorn and candy, probably not leaving the house. Well, you got one kid. You got one kid that's still going to go to the movie theater,
Starting point is 00:29:12 the ones. The crowd. The one thing's going to keep people before I'm going to the movies he likes. You know, I like shaking hands. You know, I like shaking hands. I like being within six feet of each other and watching movies with folks.
Starting point is 00:29:23 Okay, Eddie, thank you. Tell him we said thanks for giving you that feedback. I will, I'll tell them. It's a Bobby Bones show. All right, I'm going to read an email from one of you guys, and let's open up the mailbag. Bobby's Mailbag. Hey, Bobby, thanks for making my quarantine mornings fun.
Starting point is 00:29:41 My name is Mark. I've been quarantined with my girlfriend, Jackie, over the last eight weeks. We did not live together before this, and even with all the stress of working from home and worrying about our loved ones, it's been great. I told her I wanted to officially move in as soon as we can get all of her stuff to my place, and she can get out of her lease. I also realized that I want you to propose to her. I thought about doing it in quarantine. I was going to do with a candy ring pop and then get her any rings she wants, within reason, after all the stores opened back up. Now I'm wondering if I should just wait until everything's
Starting point is 00:30:10 back to normal and doing it in a more romantic setting. at an apartment with the ring pop. Or is the ring pop more proposal right now? What do you guys think? Oh, and it's okay to read this on the air because Jackie is on meetings all morning and does not get to listen to the show with me. Sign mark.
Starting point is 00:30:27 Okay. Amy, your thoughts on the quarantine proposal. Go ahead. I can be totally wrong. My gut is telling me that you should just wait. Not that not that there's anything wrong with a ring pog, but I don't know what she has envisioned for her engagement.
Starting point is 00:30:49 I know it's way more than just the ring, but like don't, like you can be patient and it'll be worth the way to make it special and not like you, it could come across that you're not really prepared and you're just trying to do it. Yeah. When that's not what you want with your proposal.
Starting point is 00:31:09 Yeah, I'm going to be down with that. I think that it'll be good in a month too. You could still hit her with that ring, with that candy ring, but have another ring as a secondary, like to give her later on and be like, hey, during quarantine, I knew that I wanted to propose to you,
Starting point is 00:31:25 and I went and found this ring during quarantine. It was the only ring that I could get, and it was then that I knew. You could still have that same heart and message and effort from right now. Like you get sure that right now is when you made your mind up about it. And then you could go,
Starting point is 00:31:39 will you marry me with the ring pop, and then pull out the real ring. I think with that, there's a little bit of both in it. There is the quarantine part and the fact that you knew during quarantine. And then like Amy said, there is the part where you actually go out, put some time and effort into it, get a real ring, shock her, all of that. So I think we're on the same page there, right? Okay, good.
Starting point is 00:32:00 Yeah. Yeah. I'm nervous to tell somebody, I mean, this is their life and their proposal, their future. I know. I mean, you got to do whatever your. your heart's telling you to do, but my gut is saying, just wait a little bit. My gut, too, is saying you can get the same effect out of doing it afterward that you can in it.
Starting point is 00:32:19 And you're not going to get married right now anyway. So just chill. Give it a couple months and then do it then. And I like what you said, Bobby. You know, have some way to show her. It was during this time that I knew and I actually wanted to propose to you so badly. So here's a letter I wrote into the Bobby Buncho and they told me to wait. Nice.
Starting point is 00:32:38 Nice. Okay, there you go. Close the mailbag. Thank you very much. And that was Bobby's Mailbag. Oh, yeah. Hey, Morgan, if people want to send a note into the mailbag, what do they need to do? Just reach out to Mailbag at Bobbybones.com.
Starting point is 00:32:52 All right, there you go. Tomorrow, I'm going to load a new episode of my music podcast called The Bobbycast. And I talk with Clint Black. By the way, here's a hook of Better Man. Still I'm leaving a better man. And here's a hook of Killing Time. I love Clint Black. As a kid, a lot of Clint Black in my life.
Starting point is 00:33:21 Growing up in a small town in Arkansas, it was a lot of Clint Black. I think it was Arkansas in the 90s, that mix. And so we were talking, we did probably 40 minutes just chatting. He's got new music album. He talked all about the 80s and 90s. And I brought up that Eddie said he'd be quarantined with Clint Black. And Eddie, he was like,
Starting point is 00:33:40 Eddie didn't think we'd have anything in common? Because I guess he saw the tweet that, was out? Yeah. And so I asked him what it would be like for you quarantining with him. Here's Clint Black. I saw your tweet. You know, Clint and I have nothing in common and I'm thinking, yeah, we do. And then I went, no, wait a minute. I wasn't even my first concert. We have nothing in common. What do you do during quarantine? Like, what are you doing all? What are you watching? Like, what can I give to him to show him that you guys probably do have some stuff in common? Well, I've watched everything on Netflix.
Starting point is 00:34:15 We watched Ozark. Oh, man. Me too. Every movie. You know, I've watched the documentaries that Bosch. If you want to watch a show where the guy's not, you know, grenades inside to kill the bad guys. I'm going to pass all that to Eddie and tell him this is what you two would be doing. Watching Bosch and Ray Romano write his first joke.
Starting point is 00:34:49 That's it. All right. Clint. We were made for each other. Shelly for quarantine. There you go, Eddie. There's Clem Black. Okay, so basically
Starting point is 00:34:59 Netflix and Chill with Clem Black. Yeah, well, I mean, I depends what your definition of that is. But, yeah, but he was super cool, right? And I thought you'd like a little shout out in the middle of that. That's awesome. Thank you, man.
Starting point is 00:35:11 Thanks for asking that question. Dude, that's amazing that you get to talk to Clint Black. Yeah, it'll be up tomorrow. And next week I'll run some little clips from it where he talked about killing time and he talked about betterment. Well, I'm leaving.
Starting point is 00:35:23 here, a better man. It's good. In 1991, he was in People Magazine's 50 most beautiful people. He was on the second season of The Apprentice back in the day with Donald Trump. And he was like, I can't do this because of what I'm seeing around me. It's a great podcast. But Clint Black, awesome. And that's what you guys will be doing, Eddie, watching TV.
Starting point is 00:35:44 Perfect. I can't wait. I did see a story, though, about the best TV finale's over the past 10 years. And so, again, it's 2020, 2010 to 2020. So if the show ended between 2010 and 2020, and the finale happened, what were the best ones, and I'll give you the top five, and you guys can tell me if you saw them,
Starting point is 00:36:04 Friday night lights at number five, the finale, the show finale. Amy, you see that? Yeah, and I was fine with it. It's good. You're fine with it or it was great? I guess I was more sad to see the show go, so I just was too wrapped up in that I don't want it to ever end.
Starting point is 00:36:20 It was fine. Flea bag, I don't think I watched, the second or third season. It's a really funny show. Breaking Bad, I thought that finale, the series finale was great. So good. The Americans, I loved that finale.
Starting point is 00:36:33 I won't ruin it because I still think you could get into it. If you were looking for a show, it's slow, but it's really good. And then the good place is the number one finale of the past 10 years, which I love the good place, but I was going to wait to all the episodes that got loaded before I watched them.
Starting point is 00:36:47 And so I guess Mike D was telling me they're now all up, right Mike? Yeah, the last season was really good. My favorite finale, series, finale over the past 10 years is the office because it's my favorite show of all time. So I'm going to put that in there. And I liked the Game of Thrones finale. I know most people didn't, but I like that finale.
Starting point is 00:37:04 Anything come to mind when I say the best finale is the past 10 years? Madman. I liked that. Maybe when did that end? Maybe 2015 or so. That one was a good one. I never watched Mad Men. That was one of those I started and I felt like it was too slow.
Starting point is 00:37:22 maybe it wasn't the right season of life for me, but I never got into it. If Caitlin hasn't seen it, maybe that could be something y'all watched together. Yeah. Well, probably not. We are... Okay.
Starting point is 00:37:35 Well, there's so much new stuff on right now. And I think we're going to get in... Well, we have to finish the fourth episode of the last dance, the Bulls documentary about Michael Jordan's last season. Is your husband watching that yet, Amy? He is. Yep, he likes it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:37:51 Does he love it? And just you don't talk to him about it? I don't have to ask him. I know that the first episode he was pumped about it and he was talking to our other friend about it and they were going on and on. Okay, so he must love it. Yeah, there it is.
Starting point is 00:38:04 Yeah, I guess I'm just not with him whenever he's watching it. I think he wishes that our son, Stevenson, could be into it with him, but it's just he has no idea who Michael Jordan is. Eddie, the oldest on our show versus Morgan the youngest. in a game we call Elder versus Millennial.
Starting point is 00:38:24 We're one-win away from the championship. The score is tied 9-9. We've been playing for 20 weeks. Last week, we had a tie. Let's see who'll be the champion. Will it be the oldest person on the show? Our video editor, Dad of 4, he's in a Razorback hoodie or a zip-up,
Starting point is 00:38:41 and he's not even a Razorback fan, but I can appreciate that. Eddie, there he is. Yeah. Or will it be? She's at her kitchen table right now, working from her house. She's 26 years old.
Starting point is 00:38:50 our head of digital, all socials, all web. Morgan number two, there she is. Okay, so I'll ask you guys questions about each of the other person's generation. Let's see how you do. Eddie, you're up first. Ready? Come on, let's go. Your first question about Morgan's generation.
Starting point is 00:39:12 Travis Scott turns 28 years old today. He's a rapper. He has a baby with Kylie Jenner. What's the name of the baby? Ooh. I thought the question was going to be Kylie Jenner, and I didn't know that one. Travis Scott and Kylie Jenner had a baby.
Starting point is 00:39:26 What's the name of the baby? Yeah, yeah, yeah. The baby, his name is Sasha. Sasha is incorrect. Morgan, you can steal. Can you name that baby? Her name is Stormy.
Starting point is 00:39:43 Stormy is right. Stormy Jenner, that's it. Okay. Eddie, question number two. Used in a sentence. Here we go. I'll give you the thing first. Millennials used this phrase
Starting point is 00:39:54 to refer to a person who has suddenly become more attractive and mature meaning they've had an incredible transformation used in a sentence Wow, Sally definitely had a blank. Did you see this picture of her from 2011? I don't know, those words are so rude
Starting point is 00:40:14 but I'm going to go with upgrade. An upgrade, okay? Eddie's working at a factory in 1961 apparently. No, it is not an upgrade. Morgan, do you want to steal? Yeah, I thought this when I saw Eddie's picture with Kenny Rogers. He had a glow up. A glow up, Eddie.
Starting point is 00:40:33 Never heard of that. You haven't? Eddie, your final question, you're 0 for 2 so far. My World 2.0 believe purpose and changes are all albums by what pop artists? Oh, an artist? Yeah. My World 2.0. believe, purpose, and changes are all albums by what pop artist?
Starting point is 00:41:02 I got it. That's my boy, Justin Bieber. That is correct. There we go. He's on the board. He's on the board. I guess. Totally guessed on that one. Okay. Eddie got one right. Morgan stole two. Morgan, if you get two of these right, you're the champ. I know. Let's do it. All right, let's go over to Morgan. Here we go. We're asking these to a 26-year-old. They're about Eddie's generation.
Starting point is 00:41:27 The action toy that was featured in a boxing match with the Red Rocker versus the Blue Bomber in the ring. The goal of the game is to be the first to knock your opponent's block off. What's the name of the action toy game? There's the Red Rocker, there's a Blue Bomber, they're both in the ring, it's an action toy, and the goal was to knock your opponent's block off. Can you name that game? I've never played it, but because it's in my favorite movie, Sweet Home Alabama,
Starting point is 00:41:58 I think it's called Rockam Sockham. That's correct. Wow. Wow. Oh, dang. Wow. She has to miss the next two, Eddie, and you have to steal the next two. Wow.
Starting point is 00:42:11 Hey, Morgan. Al Pacino played a character named Tony Montana in what 80s movie. Al Pacino played Tony Montana in what 80s movie. This is for the win. If you get this right, you are, after 20 weeks, the champion. Go ahead. I think Al Pacino is like a kind of a kind of like the Godfather
Starting point is 00:42:35 movies, but it's not Godfather. I'm pretty sure it's Goodfellas. I haven't seen it. But I'm going to go with Goodfellas. Ladies and gentlemen, she is. Wrong. Dang it. That's right. And I think her dog barked at the same time. The dog's trying to say the answer. The answer is Oh sorry Eddie, go ahead
Starting point is 00:43:01 I got it Yeah, I got it Say hello to my little friend Scarface There you go, nice All right Morgan, do you need a second 10 to your dog or are you good?
Starting point is 00:43:13 I think she's calm now I think I did it Okay What are you doing to your dog right now She's sitting in the chair I think she heard me yell Okay, Morgan, if you get this one, you win, okay? You win the championship.
Starting point is 00:43:31 Here we go. Okay. What's the name of the biggest selling comedy recording artist of all time with parodies such as eat it like a surgeon and smells like Nirvana? Do you want to hear that again? Yeah. Here's a clip. What is the name of the biggest selling comedy recording artist of all time? time. Eat it. Like a surgeon, smells like Nirvana.
Starting point is 00:44:05 Oh my gosh. I don't know if I know his name. I think he passed away if I'm thinking of the right guy. Oh. Go ahead. I don't know if I know his name. Three seconds? It's not right, but Kid Rock. Kid Rock. Yes, he did pass away. Yeah, poor guy. We miss him. Rest in peace. Our favorite comedy recording artist, Kid Rock. No, Eddie, you can tie this. You're back in if you can nail what the biggest selling comedy recording artists of all time. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, and I think he's still alive. That's weird out.
Starting point is 00:44:42 That's right, Weird Al Yankovickey is still alive. Wow, we have a tie. Okay, I'm going to give each of you three questions. Oh, boy. And we'll just see, you don't get to steal, we'll just see how you do in the other person's category. Eddie, are you ready? Come on. Unlike Tinder and Bumble, this
Starting point is 00:45:00 popular dating app is oriented toward relationships rather than hookup. and tries to match you with people your friends can vouch for. It's known as the app that's designed to be deleted. What dating app is that?
Starting point is 00:45:15 Okay, you said Bumble and what else? Unlike Tinder and Bumble. Okay. Match. Incorrect. The answer would have been Hinge. Eddie. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:45:27 In the movie Mean Girls, Regina George is the leader of the plastics. What actress plays Regina George Rebel Wilson Incorrect Rachel McAdams Dang it
Starting point is 00:45:40 You're really struggling here today Eddie I don't know any of these Eddie on the PBS show Arthur What kind of animal is Arthur He's an ant eater Incorrect he's an ardvaric Oh God It's the same thing no
Starting point is 00:45:55 No sorry My paper says artvark I'm not sure that they're the same thing Okay Morgan you get three questions All you have to do is get one and you win. Okay, okay, I can do one. What was the name of the popular magazine
Starting point is 00:46:07 that had television program listings? What was the name of the popular magazine? Go ahead. TV Guide? Is that your answer? Yeah. She says it's TV Guide. The answer is TV Guide.
Starting point is 00:46:25 We have a champion. Everyone has. She wins it. She takes the championship in the first ever season of Elder versus Millennial. Morgan, what would you like to say? I'd like to say it's for all the millennials out there who everybody, you know, all the elders say that they just don't like our generation. Well, I've just proved that we can be good ones.
Starting point is 00:46:50 And I just won it. I beat Eddie. Thank you. Look to your leader. Morgan number two, the leader, the winner. Eddie, you're shaking your head over there. Yeah. I mean, what's it?
Starting point is 00:47:00 Millennials? She's not the voice of the millennials. It's a dumb game. And you know what? You won Morgan number two. So congratulations. Okay. There we go.

Starting point is 00:49:34 Police kept getting calls about one-house, suspicious activity going on, illegal activities. They go, knock on the door. no one answers, but they looked down at the front door, Matt, and it says, come back with a warrant. So police took this as a sign, went, got a warrant, came back, and there was lots of drugs in the house. So instead of home sweet home, the Matt said, come back with a warrant. Yep.
Starting point is 00:49:57 Interesting. Here's the weird thing to me about people that are committing any crime. Because I read a story recently, too, about a guy who was speeding, got pulled over and they found a dead body in his trunk. Yeah. Oh, that's not good. If I were committing crimes, I would do no secondary crimes, or I would do nothing in order to lead people to me. Like if I were doing illegal activity in my house,
Starting point is 00:50:17 the mat outside my house would say, for God so loved the world he gave his only begotten son. You know, I would have John 316 up there. These people are... You're not a bonehead. But I can't... As for me in my house, we serve the Lord. Yes.
Starting point is 00:50:34 Like on my front door. Yeah. I mean, I need to like, uh, consult these boneheads or something. All right, lunchbox. Thank you. I'm lunchbox. That's your bonehead story of the day.
Starting point is 00:50:45 It's time for the good news. With Amy. Tell me something good. So this woman, Bula, her home was destroyed in Chattanooga, Tennessee on April 12th when a tornado came through. And her husband has passed away. But something that she had of his that was really special in her home was a military quilt. And the quilt was full of his military patches, places he trained.
Starting point is 00:51:11 traveled while he was serving pictures, a poem he wrote, all made into this quilt. Well, the tornado took it away. She didn't know if she'd ever see it again. Well, she had a picture of it, and they took it to Facebook, and it started to get spread around, local reporters picked it up, and boom, two weeks later, another family found the quilt and returned it to them. See, Facebook every once in 10,100 years does something good for somebody. There you go.
Starting point is 00:51:39 That's awesome. Super cool. It's crazy, too, the quote wasn't destroyed, huh? Oh, yeah, no, I know. And that it, like, found its way somewhere else and that those people happen to see it online too. And, of course, Buella said this has been a little light in the darkness and a very pleasant surprise.
Starting point is 00:51:55 Man, that's awesome. That is what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good. Well, I don't want anyone to be confused. We're about to talk with Dirk Spinley, but he'll be playing the character of Doug Douglasson from his 90s country band called Hot Country Night. He doesn't break character, but it is Dirk Spentley.
Starting point is 00:52:12 By the way, here is a clip from Hot Country Nights called the Moose Knuckle Shuffle. We're on right now with Doug Douglasson from the hot... Hey, I know. Oh, yes. Well, I heard you're German philps. I'm taking precautions, sorry. You're wearing a mask during the interview,
Starting point is 00:52:33 and you're squirting sanitizer on your upper lip? Is that what you're doing? On my goatee. Oh, okay. Yeah, just keeping it clean for you. All right. Doug Douglas and is on, Hot Country Nights. They have a new record. Hey, tell me about the record real quick.
Starting point is 00:52:48 I want to know why you guys decided to put a body of work. Well, we do like the whole body there, Bobby. We like to represent the entire body work from head to toe. That's where I do my best work, up and down in between. And this record really has everything in the body of country music that makes country great. We've got the songs for line dancing like Moose Knuckle Shuffle. Right there, we got a song. Love songs like Asphalt and You Make It Hard.
Starting point is 00:53:09 We got straight down the road country like Pick Her Up. Travis Tritt, mold over, a little song about hair and country music. So a little bit of everything there for all the country fans out that love real country, 90s country, hot country nights country, the K is silent. Okay, hot country nights. Their lead singer Doug Douglasson is on. When is the last time that you talked to your friend slash producer, Dirk Spentley? Yeah, Dirk Brantley.
Starting point is 00:53:33 I go by his house every day in the minivan. He lets us use his Wi-Fi. So we get the Wi-Fi there. He's doing some construction. His house is a portallet out front. so I get a chance of freshen up. Although I'm finding that blue water is not the same. The dandruff stuff I usually use is also blue, but it's not the same effect.
Starting point is 00:53:50 You can see if my hair is messed up. But he's just kind of riding out the Rona back there in his big house while we're still living in the van. But I don't know what he's doing. Dirk Bramley. Let me know. If you could explain to our listeners what you're wearing right now, I think that would be great for them. Well, top to bottom. I got my, you know, I was back to the U.S.A.
Starting point is 00:54:08 Soxed on, and these are my relaxed pants. So just kind of my day jeans, just for not for show, just for sitting around a lot. I'm going up pretty good. You know your jeans are hiked up high enough when you can reach your wallet by going over your shoulder, which I can actually do in these, which is nice. A mesh shirt, breathability, and then just my mask, which is leopard skin, which also happens to match my underwear, it's leopard skin top and bottom, which is nice. It's a matching set.
Starting point is 00:54:36 And then just there. One for, look through and one to check myself out and make sure I'm looking. good because you never know when you're not going to be able to find a mirror. How did you get someone reputable like Terry Clark to be on a song and be in a music video? I've always had a hard spot for Terry. She and I go way back. She's always believed in the nights where she, like everybody else in this town, has known about us forever. We're like, it's not like Chris Stapleton where the whole town's known about our talent
Starting point is 00:55:08 and everyone in the 615, as they call it here in the biz, has known about us. and now we're getting our chances like Chris did. So she's known about us, one of the world to see our talents and our skills and decided she's going to be one of the few people to really jump in there and help us give us that push to get up to the top of the mountain here.
Starting point is 00:55:27 All right. Well, listen, the record's out tomorrow. Get it at midnight tonight, actually. The hot country nights. Midnight, you can go in as soon as it's 11 o'clock central, you can start saving all those songs. Songs like, then it rained, Wrangler Danger, Kings of Needs,
Starting point is 00:55:42 on. The USA begins with us. And it's finally here. We get to have a whole project of work from you guys. So congratulations. The whole body of work. The whole town never thought we'd see this day. It's finally here. It's our moment.
Starting point is 00:55:57 So there you go. Thank you. I'm trying to practice a lot of safe interactions and petting. So light petting with these all is okay. What's on your hand? What is that? Well, Ray Row, our guitar player, is using these for something else, sadly.
Starting point is 00:56:10 I've been using them for just like kind of just sort of Night touching. You're around the facial area. Yeah. It's finger curves. Okay. All right, there he is. Doug, Douglas.
Starting point is 00:56:20 Hey, quickly, Doug. The first thing you're going to do once quarantine is over. I've got to go visit my gals. You know, most of my ladies are 65 and older. That's kind of my wheelhouse. The ladies I specialize in. And they've really been susceptible,
Starting point is 00:56:33 susceptible, this has been a threat to them. This is COVID. So I've been able to see them and hang out. I'm still going to go find them when this is over. And go find them. You know, keep doing what we do, which is playing shows. We've been playing socially distant shows down in Murbysboro our whole career.
Starting point is 00:56:48 We've kind of been ahead of the curve, not flattening the curve. We've been ahead of the curve. We get about 10 people to show up a night, placeholds of 200 people. So fans have plenty of room, the socially distance. That's something we came up with a long time ago, just public service to our fans. You know, get back out on the road probably pretty soon, and just try to find my gals, man. They're scattered across the country, and mostly in the Sunbelt states.
Starting point is 00:57:11 Okay. I'm just going to go catch up with them and do what I do, which is be the greatest lead singer of all time and the greatest country band of all time. The Hot Country Nights, The K is Silent. That's the album. The K is Silent. Check it out today. If you like 90s Country with a little bit of humor,
Starting point is 00:57:24 although I don't know if they put the humor in there on purpose, but the K is silent. That's Doug Douglas and the lead singer. Our producer does the humor. Dirk Brannley, have you heard his songs, 5150. Yeah, yeah. He could be doing stand-up comedy. That's humor.
Starting point is 00:57:37 Our country music's real. It's serious. It's for real country fans. out there, man. All right. Hey, good to talk to you again. Hopefully this won't be the last time. Hey, hey, I heard that. I'm not as dumb as I look. All right. All right. See you, Doug. See you, buddy. All right. Hang in there. All right. Hang in there. You too, bud. Hang. I'm hanging. Thanks, strong. Our sound producer, Ray Mundo, send me a story about coffee. Hey, Ray, tell Amy what the story's about.
Starting point is 00:58:04 Yeah, so it's a myth busters and coffee will not sober you up. A new study confirmed what we I already know that a night of drinking, it sucks when you wake up in the morning, you're all hung over. Well, coffee doesn't do anything to your BAC, which is your blood alcohol content. It does little to nothing. So it just takes time. That's really all you can do. The coffee will make you more alert and take away some of your groginess, but you're still going to be hungover and you're still going to have some alcohol in your system. Hadn't you always heard coffee kind of sobered you up a little bit?
Starting point is 00:58:36 Yeah. I mean, I guess I was thinking of it. I didn't know what it did chemically inside the body, but I guess all it does is kind of wake you up a little bit. Well, people always like, hey, get a couple cups of coffee in your system, and then you can go about your day. You had a little too much to drink last night. Apparently, it does nothing with your BAC, as Ray called it. Yeah. So still, regardless of how much coffee you've had, you can't just, like, drink a bunch alcohol and then have some coffee and feel like you can drive.
Starting point is 00:59:02 Well, I've been telling people for a year just drink equal amounts of alcohol and coffee, you'll be even. Nothing will be wrong with you, as long as it's the same. Yeah. How much coffee you drink a day? A cup. That's it? Mm-hmm. Yeah, I really try to limit it.
Starting point is 00:59:17 My husband drinks about two pots. Pots? Wow. Like, yeah, and I don't know how many cups. There's probably four cups. So he probably has eight cups of coffee a day. Is that from him, like in pilot school and having to fly all the time at all crazy hours? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:59:37 I mean, he would go on really long flights. and live off of coffee, basically. He loves it. Black, he doesn't put anything in it. I know, and I tell him, you need a cut back. Just try to do coffee and then have tea, so it's not just straight coffee all the time. In the military, I'm assuming they just get black coffee.
Starting point is 00:59:59 Can you imagine the military giving you all the creams and all the French vanilla? All right, guys, we're going to go out today. We're going to go out to combat, but make sure to get your French vanilla creamer. I don't know. I'll ask him what kind of goodies they had available. Soldier, can I get you a latte today? I don't know. I think that they probably, if they boarded the flight with their mocha, minty, whipped cream latte, somebody might make fun of them. My girlfriend will go and order Starbucks while we're doing the show, and she'll bring it to me
Starting point is 01:00:30 during the show. And she's embarrassed to say my order. I'm not. I've gotten used to it. But she kids me and she goes, every time I start ordering it, all the cars start honking behind me because it just takes so long. Because it's, it's, I have a dirty chai latte, two shots of espresso,
Starting point is 01:00:47 almond milk, depending on what kind of mood I'm in, up to four pumps of vanilla. And that's embarrassing for her to say. And she was with me once, she was recording me saying it. She was going to do like an Instagram story of me ordering it looking ridiculous.
Starting point is 01:01:01 And so I do the whole order. I was like, but I saw her in the corner of my eye, I pulled the phone up. I said, hey, I'll take a dirty chai latte with almond milk, two shots of espresso, four pumps of vanilla for her, please. And then, boom, got her. Oh, busted. Got her.
Starting point is 01:01:14 That's why I do. Over to Amy, and let's get in the morning corny. The morning corny. What did the left eye say to the right eye? What did the left eye say to the right eye? Between us, something smells. That was the morning corny. It's Eddie's Spanish word of the day.
Starting point is 01:01:44 All right, class. The word of the day is botas. Repeat after me, bones, botas. Botas. That means boots. So let me use that in a sentence. Botas. Whose bed have your botas been under?
Starting point is 01:01:59 Nice. Or maybe got a little dirt on my botas. Yeah. That's what I'm talking about. Jimmy have one. Knocking botas. Knocking botas? These botas are made for walking, and that's just what they'll do.
Starting point is 01:02:17 And one of these days, these bolas are going to walk all over. You. What about that Brooks and Dunn song? Oh, yeah. Boca scoot and boogie. Eddie, are you still teaching your kids Spanish for homeschool distance learning? Not every day I probably do it maybe twice a week
Starting point is 01:02:39 But yeah I'm trying to give them a Spanish word And sometimes it goes into just dinner time I'm like oh crap I didn't do anything today So guys beans Frioles The only other person who laughed at heart Was Mike D who's also Mexican I like that one
Starting point is 01:02:53 The rest of us are like oh we don't know Should we even laugh Okay Eddie thank you very much He's a dad of four And he is our Mexican video producer And he's proud of it There he is producer Eddie everybody Thank you very much
Starting point is 01:03:05 Here's Amy's pile of stories. I'm a mean girls fan, so when I saw that Lindsay Lohan wants to do a sequel to the original Mean Girls, I kind of geeked out. And apparently she's been in talks with Andy Cohen about it. She's trying to get in touch with Tina Faye, who was the writer and then the director. And the plot would be centered around Mean Girls in the workplace. I think Lindsay Lohan just wants to do anything. I think she just wants a job, don't you, Mike?
Starting point is 01:03:33 Yeah, that's what it sounds like. When she's excited about doing Mean Girls, I think she's excited about it. doing something to get paid. Well, it is one of her best movies. So if she were to bring something back and she does want to start working again, then I am all in. I think it's funny that she's like, I can't get Tina Faye to pick up the phone. If anybody could put this out there. She has to buy a cameo from Tina Faye to hear from her.
Starting point is 01:03:52 What of your favorite movies would you want a sequel to? That's tough because my favorite movie is the movie that Jim Carrey did about Andy Kaufman called Man on the Moon. But Andy Kaufman's dead. So it couldn't do that. Maybe office space to see where they are now, that's an old one. Or maybe 500 days of summer to kind of see what happened with those characters at the end. So, why are you snoring? What would you pick?
Starting point is 01:04:19 I didn't like 500 days of summer. You didn't want, if we ever do. I did watch. No, no, no, no, no. I watched it. I already did this. This was like years ago. You gave it to me as homework.
Starting point is 01:04:27 I did. I did. Yes, I did. Yes, I did. Yes, I remember. No, no, no, no. I already did it. Mike, what's the rotten tomatoes for 500 days of summer?
Starting point is 01:04:34 Because usually that's pretty much on. I would bet it's over 80%. If it's over 80%, Amy, I'm going to say you're wrong. If it's below, I'm going to say, well, you have the right to your opinion. Let's see. It is 85%. Oh, so close. That is borderline.
Starting point is 01:04:50 What movie would you sequel up? Oh, Pretty Woman, Dirty Dancing, Steal Magnolius, and Mean Girls. All right. What else you got over there? So if you want to know what time the average parent hits, their peak stress point during this pandemic. It's 1154 a.m. Oh, quicker than I thought.
Starting point is 01:05:12 I thought you're going to say 11.54 p.m. No, no, no, no. We are straight stressed out before noon. And we don't get to relax until 8.39 p.m. I'm saying we because I'm a parent during this and working. And kids are not the only cause, though. Parents are constantly stressing about things like keeping the house clean, not getting enough sleep and money.
Starting point is 01:05:34 Yeah, especially now when everybody's worried about their jobs and if they get to work and, you know, everybody here. I mean, I took a big pay cut on, you know, what, two months ago with the company. They were like, hey, we're looking for people to take pay cuts to make sure that we. And then just recently, you know, everybody else here has taken another little pay cut too. So everybody's worried about something right now financially. What else you got? So the rapper, Tupac Shakur was alive and well for about a minute in Kentucky. I saw this.
Starting point is 01:06:05 Yeah, I saw the Governor Bashir's in Kentucky a few days ago first going, there are people that are faking, filing for unemployment or filing for these loans. Right. And one of the persons he called out for faking was somebody pretending to be Tupac Shakur. And there is another Tupac Chakure. He lives in Kentucky. And he did work at an Irish pub as a short-order cook and they got laid off. So he's a 46-year-old man that filed for unemployment.
Starting point is 01:06:33 and he is, that's legit his name. And so the governor has apologized. The crazy part is that he's not 22. I thought if someone named Tupac Shakur would be 22 named after Tupac. But if you're 46, you weren't named after Tupac. Well, that's a good point. Yeah. It's just randomly.
Starting point is 01:06:50 Yeah, their last name was Shakur and they like the name Tupac. That's the craziest part to me of all of that. Yeah. Is that it? Yep, I mean, that's my pile. That was Amy's Pile of Stories. The Bobby Bone Show is proud. to be supported by Grand Canyon University, an affordable, private, non-profit Christian

It took me back to one from November 2018 when he was on. Remando jokes that he can run over 20 miles an hour. and I'm just going to see if you guys actually had him run with a car and to see what... Okay, so I don't remember this.
Starting point is 01:09:48 I guess we never fulfilled our request to have Ray try to run over 20 miles an hour. Do you still think you can, Ray? Oh, yeah, yeah. I mean, with the quarantine, I haven't been bodybuilding, so I don't think I'm top-heavy. I feel like I'm very sveled. I think I can move just as fast as I could when I was in high school. So I would say, give me a cop gun, whatever you got to get, I can easily do 20 miles an hour, baby. On foot.
Starting point is 01:10:11 Okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. 20.5 miles per hour is fast for humans. I'm reading this article from a sprinter. A sprinter runs usually around 21 miles per hour. It says that if you're running a 40-yard dash at 20 mile per hour, that's 4.09 seconds faster than the Indian NFL player ran at the combine. Dang. You're faster, right?
Starting point is 01:10:33 Yeah, I didn't know it was that fast. I mean, maybe I can get that 19.6 and we can round it up to 20. but I think I'll be pretty darned close. I would take that bet. I would take the 19. If you wanted to make a bet, Ray, and you gave me, I tell you what, 18 miles an hour. Wow!
Starting point is 01:10:52 I would bet you can't get 18 miles an hour. Do you want to try to run that one morning? Yeah, absolutely. I know in my neighborhood in the hills, we got those school zones where they got the cops sign right there on the side of the road. If there's one near here, let's do it, baby. Sign me up.
Starting point is 01:11:09 Why don't we just stop watching? Let's bring in... Well, no, you can't stop. Well, I guess you can do the math on it, huh? Yeah, yeah. Scoob, Steve, what do you think about this bet? How in the world can we make this happen? I think the easy thing to do is just find one of those cop things like Ray said and just run by it.
Starting point is 01:11:24 I've done it myself. I think it would pick it up. Like one of those school signs? Yeah, the school signs or the, they put those little speeding things you've seen before, checking your speed. I think that would definitely pick it up. Okay, see if you can find us one of those the next week or so. Ray, Mundo, I'm going to put it at 18.
Starting point is 01:11:38 Do you think you can run past 18 for the bet? I'm asking you honestly here. Yes, honestly, I can do that. And I usually don't just come out here and say crap. I really do think I can do it. Okay. Okay. We'll come up with the terms of the bet tomorrow, okay?
Starting point is 01:11:54 I'm 100% down. I was just getting some water right now. I'm getting excited for this run. Okay. Coming up in a second, in the next segment, Eddie is going to review 8 Mile. We did the forced movie review segment. And so Eddie's the last one to review a movie that was forced on him.
Starting point is 01:12:08 I forced him to watch 8 Mile Eminem's movie. So Eddie, you'll review that next? I will. Let's see what I thought about it. Coming up here, Bobby Bone Show. Well, we're going to get our last movie in here in the forced movie review segment, four down one to go. Just as a recap, Amy made Morgan No. 2 watch Still Magnolias,
Starting point is 01:12:27 and Morgan No. 2 gave it 4.5 out of 5 Shelby's. So good, so good. Morgan Number 2 made Lunchbox watch Black Panther. lunchbox gave it 2.5 out of 5 Wakandas. Lunchbox made me watch a movie called Box of Moonlight. I gave it 0.5 out of five moons. And so did Caitlin, my girlfriend. We both thought it was pretty terrible.
Starting point is 01:12:54 Eddie made Amy watch Parasite. Amy liked it, didn't expect to, but gave it four out of five parasites. So those are the four. We're finally to Eddie, where I made Eddie watch eight mile. My favorite seven movies, Eddie's seen. So this is like one of the top ten I knew he hadn't seen.
Starting point is 01:13:12 Eddie, what did you think about eight mile? Okay, so I love music, biopics. You know, I guess... Eminem, man. Eminem, and I enjoyed the movie because I do love music. I do love the whole story of behind... I didn't know really that background of him being a trailer park kid and the struggles with his mom,
Starting point is 01:13:33 and he really needed to become a rapper or else his life would have just been completely different. Crazy. Crazy, right? But Bones, he's not that great of an actor. One, and two, like, it just felt like we were leading up to one rap battle. And then it finally came and you're like, all right, he did it. And then the movie was over.
Starting point is 01:13:54 You didn't like how he just attacked himself at the beginning of the rap battle to make sure he took all their arsenal away from him? I did. I did like that. I mean, he is a rap genius. Like, the way he rapped. And I really like, too, his friendship and the group that he had growing up. It's really cool.
Starting point is 01:14:09 Like, he had a cool little group of friends that really supported him. It's D12. And just, what's that? It's D12 in real life. Yeah, see, and then I did a little bit of research, too. Kind of like I wanted to know who his buddy was, and I found out that he ended up dying later back in Detroit. So the story's cool, dude.
Starting point is 01:14:25 I love it all. As a movie, though, I'm going to have to give it. I know they call it eight mile, but I might have to give it two and a half miles. Oh, good. It wasn't my favorite anyway. I just knew you hadn't seen it. I don't have any... We used to watch that final scene in college
Starting point is 01:14:40 before we would go out. We'd be like, all right, get pumped up. We watched that final rap battle. But, again, it's not one of my favorite movies. It was just a movie I liked that I knew that you hadn't seen. And for some reason, too, I thought at the end it was going to be the spaghetti. My palms are sweaty and all that, like the one, the lunchbox thing. And it wasn't.
Starting point is 01:14:58 They just closed the movie out with that one. I was like, oh, okay. I guess I had that all wrong in my head. Well, 2.5 miles. out of five of eight miles yeah yeah give it a eight i mean whatever i liked it i did like it i'm not offended though because i just okay everything i tried to give you you'd already seen dude i wish i almost wanted to lie and say no man i haven't seen 500 days of summer because i love that movie so much yeah i would have loved to watch it again amy and i were talking in the
Starting point is 01:15:23 pile earlier about 500 days of summer and amy's like i did not like that movie it was not good it's like what are you talking about amy it's amazing well bobby made me watch it and i It's not my cup of tea. So maybe that's the problem, bones. Like the whole forced movie thing. Maybe it's like you're forcing someone to watch it that we don't like. It's a bit, guys. You're not in jail, movie jail.
Starting point is 01:15:47 Amy, what are we going to say? I was forced to watch Parasite and I liked it. That's true. Eddie, I gave you that. Mm-hmm. And then later, I think Eddie gave it when he rated it, he gave it, what you give it, five tomahawks, is that what they're called? Absolutely, five.
Starting point is 01:16:02 I didn't know, I didn't understand why. because I didn't know what a tomahawk was. I had to Google it, and now I get it. Now I understand. You didn't know what a tomahawk was? Did you ever see the tomahawk chop? No. The Atlanta Braves or Florida State Seminoles?
Starting point is 01:16:17 No, I asked Eddie, if it was the headdress from the like Cub Scout stuff because they were wearing this, like the boy was really into, he was in a scout. And so I thought that that's maybe what those were called, but no, totally different. And I understand now why he's. gave it that because I gave it four, what I gave it? Four and a half parasites out of five? You give it four out of five? Not bad.
Starting point is 01:16:41 Well, either way, it was good. The highest reviewed movie from this segment was Morgan number two, watching Sto Magnolias, and the lowest review was Box of Moonlight. Maybe the lowest reviewed movie on the show in the history of movie reviews at point five. So anybody want to volunteer to watch Box of Moonlight and get back to me? I thought about it for a minute, but no, I better not. No, I don't have time for that. Eddie, it just shows so much male nudity.
Starting point is 01:17:06 That's crazy. I don't understand why lunch would want to watch that movie. It's just weird. Yeah. Anyway, there you go. We finished our forced reviews. We'll post them all at bobbybones.com so you can see it. You know, because we wake up so early to do this show,
Starting point is 01:17:21 people always ask, how do you become a morning person? Bobby, how did you do it? I'm not a morning person. I never like waking up in the morning. It takes me literally hours before I kind of feel it all myself. There are some mornings I finish the show. and I'm like, I'm just starting to feel okay. So for me, I don't think there's any changing of it.
Starting point is 01:17:40 I was reading the story that says, if you're not a morning person, can you change? The answer is, not really. It turns out our internal clocks are influenced by genes and are incredibly difficult to change. If you try to morph into a morning person, your health suffers, it has been linked to heart disease, obesity, and depression. How about that, Amy?
Starting point is 01:18:00 Oh, man, I don't like the sound of that. Yeah. Would you say you're a morning person? person yes or no? I wonder if we just went around the room here and what our ratio of more, you have to say yes or no, would you be a morning person? I'm going to say no, one vote no. Amy, you.
Starting point is 01:18:17 Yes. Okay. Lunchbox is you. No. Eddie, you. Help me out. I hate waking up, but I don't mind the mornings once I'm up. I'm going to put you as a yes.
Starting point is 01:18:28 How late do you need to sleep until? Like, I cannot stand. Like Bobby loves to sleep until noon or one And he could be fine with that That would drive me crazy That's how I decide Eddie if that will help you Because I get it I don't like waking up early either
Starting point is 01:18:43 But I think we have a distorted view of early Because we wake up You know? But on a Saturday I could wake up at 6 a.m. And be like, yes, I love this. Okay, let's say anytime before 7.30 in the morning If you could wake up.
Starting point is 01:18:57 Put me down as yes, bones. Okay. Because once I'm up, it's a beautiful morning. Wow. It only starts to be a beautiful day once the sun starts going down for me. Yeah. Oh my gosh. When it gets on the other side of noon, I'm like, okay, now we're rocking.
Starting point is 01:19:11 I would be fine waking up at noon and going to bed at four in the morning every day. The opposite of what I do now. Wow, crazy. Ramundo, our producer in the glass room. Yeah, I'm all about the morning. Honestly, that's my best time to work out. Nighttime, it's dark out. You're limited on what you can do.
Starting point is 01:19:32 do when the sun's out morning you get to see the sunrise i'm all about the morning all right three morgan are you a morning person yes or no no i'm definitely a night out i do not like waking up wow we're split 50 50 here well i have another story i was going to read you guys about falling asleep at night experts say that a surefire trick that will make you fall asleep fast is to close your eyes and visualize your childhood life and home to take yourself through the years that you remember being a kid then start to single-out your child at home and just think of that, the hallways, into each room, thinking about the pictures on the wall, the backyard,
Starting point is 01:20:06 your parents coming home from work, et cetera. Most people will be able to fall asleep two to five minutes faster when thinking about their childhood. And the reason they say it works is because it distracts you. The key to falling asleep is to be thinking about something else other than sleep. And also you have vivid memories that are from your childhood so you can actually hit it and think about it hard and it kind of consumes you. You know, do this exercise now?
Starting point is 01:20:29 I'll do it right now. Let me think about being a kid. I am. I'm falling asleep right now. Here we go, go, bones. What, Eddie? Oh, great. Are you about to admit?
Starting point is 01:20:35 No, no. Yes, Amy, you know where he's going. You know where he's going. At first I thought he was actually going to try to do it. But now he's going to be like, oh, let me visualize how my mom never came home from work. Come on, Buzz. Come on, come on. Well, no, my mom, she came out from work.
Starting point is 01:20:50 Yeah, my dad was never, dude. Let me, hold on. Let me visualize it. Oh, there you go. Yeah, yeah. No, okay. You guys already killed it. Okay.
Starting point is 01:20:58 No, we weren't going to let you go make fun of sad things in your life. life. But obviously that's therapeutic for you, so you should take a second and do it. Just do it. My trying to go to sleep every night is me just running through the halls and the street searching for my biological father. Daddy, why did you leave me? I fall asleep. Terrible. All right, we let you do it. Blake should, I just got one low. One on one. One. Here's another round of guest the sound quarantine edition. This is from a viral video of a guy who is currently bored in quarantine. I need you to tell me what this motorcycle sound is being made by.
Starting point is 01:21:36 Here's the clip. Okay, is that A, a guy blowing into an empty paper sack? Is it B, a guy blowing into a Superman metal lunchbox? Or is it C, a guy blowing into a crushed can? I'm going to play it again. It's either a paper sack, a metal lunchbox, or a crush can. Here you go. So stupid.
Starting point is 01:22:13 Okay, what is it? Lunchbox, a paper sack, a metal lunchbox? or a crush can. Crush can is throwing me off because if it's crushed, you can't blow into it. So I'm going sack. Give me a sack. He wants a sack, ladies gentlemen. Let's go over to Amy.
Starting point is 01:22:27 Amy, which one do you think it is? The metal lunch box. Okay. And Eddie, final one? I remember being a kid and I would put that crushed can on my bicycle tire and it would make that same noise. I'm going to go with crushed can. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 01:22:42 My son does that with a water bottle. The answer is. Play it one more time? That's so dumb. That's a guy blowing into a crush can. There you go. You win nothing, Eddie. Just thank you, though, for playing.
Starting point is 01:23:04 In the next segment, we will talk to Ingrid Andrus. Here's her song, More Hearts Than Mine. She has the number one song in the country this week, and we'll catch up with her. We were her first ever radio interview. It's good to see that she has a number one this week. Starting point is 01:25:50 Ingrid how are you? Oh, I'm lovely. How are you? Lovely with that tone because, oh, hold on, Amy just sneezed. Amy, you all right over there? I'm sorry. I'm trying to hold that in
Starting point is 01:26:03 and then it just came out so fast. Anyway, Amy, Ingrid, Ingrid, Amy. Yeah, yeah, yeah. We'll keep going. Are you irritated because you're still in quarantine after having a number one song? A little. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:26:17 I feel like I should be out, like, partying. Yeah. Whatever you do when you have a number one. And I'm like, okay, well, I have some balloons in my apartment. Oh, you do. Look at that. Yeah, you got one big, long yellow one too.
Starting point is 01:26:30 I know. That's kind of disturbing. It's supposed to be a one, but it's like a really, I don't know, not my favorite. But very sweet gesture. How did you have your quarantine number one celebration? Actually, yesterday my team did a parade for me outside of the building. So that was very sweet. And then we all parked in the parking lot and stood very far away from each other and took a picture.
Starting point is 01:26:57 That's fun. You still got a picture. It was, yeah, it was, honestly, they surprised me with it. I had no idea what's happening. My manager told me that we were doing, like, I needed to do a photo shoot of myself because I don't take enough pictures of myself. So I was like, oh, okay, and then I walked out there, and everybody was there. Oh, that's good.
Starting point is 01:27:17 More hearts than mine, number one this week. Just kind of take our listeners back to when you wrote that song. Like, tell me what was happening in your mind whenever you go into the room, and that song kind of starts to develop as an idea. I had thought of the concept because I wasn't sure if I wanted to bring whoever I was dating at the time home to meet my family. It was like right before the holidays. And so the idea just came to me and I brought it into the room and was like, should we write this? Because I feel like people don't combine like family and romance in the same song because it will get confusing.
Starting point is 01:27:54 And I just haven't heard a song about it before. but we started writing it and I just used basically like all personal information to write it. And yeah, it was tough because being that vulnerable is scary, but I'm glad we wrote it at the end of the day. Was there anyone that told you as far as a radio single that, boy, maybe you shouldn't put out a ballad because you probably won't have success with a ballot early? Yeah, like literally everybody said that. So, but luckily, at the end of the day, it's just a really well-written song. And as a songwriter, I was really proud of it.
Starting point is 01:28:30 And it was like, if we don't give a shot, then I will regret it forever. Do you know how much your rate goes up now after you have a number one song? My what? Your rate. They get paid. You got to get paid. Oh, I get paid? Well, not for a, you wrote the song, you paid there.
Starting point is 01:28:45 But, like, to book you, your rate to do a show has now, it is now grown. Do you know what it is now? No, I don't. Can you tell me? I won't tell you on the air, but if you really want to know, but yeah, now you get to make more money because they go, she has a number one song. I can't play any shows. I know. That would be amazing.
Starting point is 01:29:06 I know, I know. Who is the coolest person following you on Instagram right now? I can't, I don't really know who follows me on Instagram, but I know that Julie Andrews follows me on Twitter. Okay. So that's pretty dope. Does she tweet or does her people tweet? because she's pretty significant. Yeah, well, I'm hoping she does.
Starting point is 01:29:28 Okay, yeah. But, you know, she's a little up there in the years, so maybe she doesn't. But I just love to keep following me because sound of music was my jam. Do you know what your next single is going to be? We're still debating because luckily it's like a good problem to have. There are a few songs off of the record
Starting point is 01:29:47 that people think should be the next single. I'm just kind of like, whatever, is missing from the radio, I'll still in that gap. All right. Well, congratulations. When I saw it, one, I was so pumped for you. I'm excited for you. Your rates going up.
Starting point is 01:30:02 You got sound of music following you on Twitter. Life could not be better except for quarantine. I know. I'm technically living my best life, so I don't know why I'm complaining. Well, congratulations, and you deserve it, and I can't wait to hear what's next from you. Thank you. All right.
Starting point is 01:30:16 Bye, Ingrid. Bye. I got a message here from Joanna in Coming, Georgia. Here we go. Hey, Bobby. Good morning studio. We're having a little bit of a heated debate here in our neighborhood of opening the neighborhood pool. So I personally have been adhering to social distancing, but at the same time, I kind of want to take advantage and go to the pool and have, you know, something new to do around here. And you have those neighbors that are just absolutely against it. And I'm just kind of on the fence on how I should branch out and, you know, what I should be doing with my kids.
Starting point is 01:30:54 So just curious to hear your side of things. Bye, guys. Amy, what do you think about this? She wants her kids to go to the pool. Do you know, she doesn't know if she should let them? What do you do? Okay, so I know that feeling of what do I do with my kids in a pool. If you have a neighborhood pool is such an amazing escape, especially when it starts to get hot out.
Starting point is 01:31:14 And kids love to play in the pool. me personally, I've been thinking about that, but that's not what I'm going, it's going to be best for my family until I've, you know, probably for a while. So, I mean, we've talked about going to get like water slides or some other forms of water activity that we can put in our backyard because we don't have a pool.
Starting point is 01:31:38 But I mean, I get it. But for me and my home, we will not be going to pools. My best advice during this crazy time is to find someone that you trust, someone that understands science, and even, you know, regionally, it's all different, right? And then find the person you trust and go with what they say, because we don't, you have to understand, we don't know anything about what's happening. We only know what we're learning from the experts. Would you agree with that, Amy? Totally agree. And the knowledge I have, I don't feel comfortable with that yet. I'm not saying
Starting point is 01:32:10 we won't get there one day, but at this current moment, I'm not there for me and my family. and that's who I make decisions for, you know? So we're going to stay away from public pools. But you may know your community better. Your situation might be different. But we go to a big public pool with lots of people and I'm not comfortable for that yet. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:32:28 I think a pool in Wyoming is different than a pool in New York City too. So you have to do what's best for your family. Your situation's different than anybody else's. But if it were me right now, I also wouldn't be going to the public pool. Right now. Maybe you give it four weeks, three or four weeks
Starting point is 01:32:42 and then reassess. I think that would be the final piece of advice there. Let's go to Brittany in North Carolina. You were talking another day about Ramundo and his trademark possibility of, I was wondering, did Bobby or Amy start the wow, wow, wow thing, and do you think that would ever become a trademark for you guys? Also, I'm a mom of three girls and a teacher and having to teach and homeschool online now.
Starting point is 01:33:07 So for all those parents who want to give up, please don't, because us teachers are working very, very hard, and we need your help. to do your part. And also, last thing, my daughter, Lila, is turning eight soon and she loves your show, especially the Friday morning dance party. So if you could give a shout out to Lila and wish her happy birthday, that would be awesome. Thank you. Lila, happy birthday. Eight years old was awesome. I was there a few years ago. Loved it. It's fantastic. Yeah. I think, wow, wow, wow. It's a Bobby original. What do you think about that, Amy? It could be. That is you. That's all you.
Starting point is 01:33:40 I don't, I don't know. If I ever say it, I got it from you. So, wow. Wow, wow, wow. Wow, wow. Put it on a shirt. Wow, wow, wow. Okay. One more. This is Teresa.
Starting point is 01:33:52 Hey, Bobby. I was just wondering how Amy's daddy getting along now is he still in quarantine. And another thing, my son plays for 2K, and he's really good at it. And he's 23. He sent you a message if you ever want to hit him up and play. He'd be glad to play with you. Hey, y'all have a wonderful day and keep doing the things you're doing. Love y'all.
Starting point is 01:34:10 Thank you, Teresa. Amy, how's your dad doing a quarantine at the older, folks home. He's doing okay. He actually called me and said, I guess now, now, now he's out of prison. When he called me, he said, I think it was yesterday and he had one more day. So he's out today. He's about to get out of prison because he got put on lockdown in his room, which he is now calling prison. Because he had to go to the hospital. And once he left his assisted living community and had, you know, was off the grounds, they have to make sure he has no symptoms of coronavirus before he can roam the halls again. And so far, no symptoms.
Starting point is 01:34:46 And now I'll get to go visit him downstairs. I still haven't seen him face to face, but I visit him through a window. Nice. That'd be nice when you can finally touch him again, right? Oh, I don't, yeah. And because he fits the category of elderly and compromised immune system, I honestly don't know when that will be. It's so crazy.
Starting point is 01:35:09 Yeah. But it is what it is. So we're making the best of it. I'm so thankful for his attitude. He's been amazing through this whole thing. The backside of her message is about me playing PlayStation 4. I play NBA 2K20. I've never been a gamer until the last couple of months.
Starting point is 01:35:24 But Amy, I got some really encouraging words from about a 10-year-old yesterday. We're playing this big wreck game in the gym, and I had a pretty good game. I didn't have the best game, but I was doing pretty good. And at the end, he sent me a message. He was like, hey, man, you're really getting a lot better. If you stay focused and you practice, I think you could really see some real growth in your basketball.
Starting point is 01:35:42 He was 10. Yeah. Wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow. I just did it. I know. Okay, okay, okay. I didn't know I did it. It's time for the good news.
Starting point is 01:35:55 With lunchbox. Tell me something good. Old Cameron Crockett, he's an HVAC technician, still has his job during this corona stimulus shutdown. And he got a stimulus check for $1,200. He's like, man, there's people out of work. So he went on Facebook. He was like, hey, who's unemployed? and everybody that posted he just picked one random winner
Starting point is 01:36:16 and he gave him the whole stimulus check of $1,200. That's crazy. That is crazy. That's awesome. That is what it's all about right there. That was Tell Me Something Good. Starting point is 01:38:48 That'd be cool. I saw a meme about quarantine pickup lines. Number one, you can't spell virus without you and I. Hmm. All right, all right. I didn't write these, so get off me, guys. All right? Without you on my life, I'm as empty as a supermarket shelf.
Starting point is 01:39:06 Yeah? No? All right. All right. Is that pneumonia in my lungs or has your smile left me breathless? Oh my gosh. Funny. That one's funny.
Starting point is 01:39:18 That mask brings out the beauty in your eyes. Hey, babe, can I ship you a drink? All right, thank you. I didn't write them. I don't have any ownership of them. You're not offending me. Yeah. You guys are acting like you're hurting my feelings.
Starting point is 01:39:35 We're all good here. Oh, off the stage. What's wrong with you guys? Hey Morgan, if people want to check out today's podcast, give me a few things that will be on the show on the podcast for them. An artist called out a show member for something they said. Yeah, we had a famous 90s country artist that was, you know, making mention of one of us here on the show for something we had said.
Starting point is 01:39:55 So check that out. What else you got? We had two special guests on, Ingrid Andrus and Doug from Hot Country Nights. Yep, two interviews. Great. And? We had our last forced movie revoke. review from Eddie. Eddie had to watch 8 Mile, gave his review. I made him watch it. And and listener Mark asked in our mailbag if he should propose during quarantine. That's right.
Starting point is 01:40:19 There you go. I did look at my calendar just now, Amy, because I always pull up my calendar when we do this segment. I have a not today. Oh, I did this today. I'm talking about Mark Chestnut today. Huh. Look at that. Tomorrow I'll put up my Clint Black Bobby Cass, but I have a call with Mark chestnut. I picked a song to be the highlight song on the country top 30. He's got a new song. It's pretty good. And so I'm going to talk to him, get a little interview for the show too. Remember the chestnut? Remember the nut?
Starting point is 01:40:44 Remember the nut? Remember? The nut? Yeah. We love Mark Chestnut. Remember? I was supposed to go to his house and then it got canceled and y'all were going to make me do something. I think, I can't remember, but I know it involved saying the nut like a lot. Well, if you lost a bet, you only got to refer to him as the nut the whole time you interviewed him. Right, right, right.
Starting point is 01:41:05 Excuse me, Mr. The Nut. Can I ask you? I have a satellite media tour for American Idol at like 15 minutes. So I'm going to hop down and that's when they pass me to all the TV stations around the country and go, hey, talk about American Idol. They're always a little bit disappointed when they get me and they don't get one of the big judges. Oh, that's got to feel weird. What do you do? How can you tell?
Starting point is 01:41:29 Are they like, oh? Well, they know. Here's lit. I thought maybe they didn't know. No, they know, but they get a few minutes head start. But they're always a little disappointed. Like, for American Idol, well, we get Bobby Bones. You know, it's just kind of a weird thing.
Starting point is 01:41:44 But, you know, I'm happy to be included. So I'm doing that for an hour. I'll talk to Mark Chestnut today. And then I'm recording another episode of my trivia show tonight, which I haven't put out to one with Lady Annabella yet. I thought it'll be out tomorrow. Oh, fun. That's super easy trivia.
Starting point is 01:41:59 Busy day today. Thank you very much. I think that'd be a Eddie and I are playing golf on Friday tomorrow. Cannot wait. It's been years
Starting point is 01:42:09 since you and I have played. Eddie sent me a message. I thought it'd be good for us to go out and two different carts bond a little bit. And I was like, hey, let's go play golf,
Starting point is 01:42:18 catch up. And he's like, hundred bucks a hole. And I'm like, first of all, I would never play for that much money playing golf.
Starting point is 01:42:22 Secondly, he's been playing every week for like five years and I haven't touched a golf club. Just trying to make some extra money, man. So there'll be no gambling.
Starting point is 01:42:32 He's just going to chop it up. I know, but Bobby, with your luck, you'll still win anyway. I don't have luck. I have work ethic. There's a difference. Okay, fine. With your work ethic and sometimes just how freakishly lucky you are, you'll win. There's nothing freakishly lucky.
Starting point is 01:42:50 If you keep your hook in the water long enough, eventually a fish will bite. That's all, that's the story in my life. No, no, no, no. I am not. I get that with your work ethic. This is golf. I'm talking about, you say I'm lucky. I'm not lucky.
Starting point is 01:43:03 Because you are in certain things. You're not hearing me. I'm not talking about how your career has gone. That has been hard work. But in Vegas, you will throw the thing on the red and it'll spin around and it'll land on the red. Like you're lucky like that. So I'm saying. I hate, I hate being called lucky.
Starting point is 01:43:23 I hate this is what I hate being called. I hate being called. Clearly. It's a trigger. I hate being called lucky. I hate being called talented. Those are the worst things you can call me. But you do have talent.
Starting point is 01:43:32 I've never, no, I've never called you talented. If you ever call me talented, I would be so mad. I haven't. Don't worry. And when I'm referring to luck, I'm not talking about what you've done in your career. I'm simply talking about Vegas and winning random rounds of golf when you haven't played in five years. I haven't won. Yeah, anyway, Eddie and I don't play tomorrow.
Starting point is 01:43:51 Go. That's the point. And he's not going to get any better in one day. That's true. That's true. Yeah. Whatever. But you know, Eddie, he'll get out there and he'll be like, I'm playing forever.
Starting point is 01:43:58 And then he'll hit a hole in one. Well, Amy, that's because he's talented. Oh! The T word. Okay, that's it. We're going to actually hop over to the post show pre-show if you want to check it out when the podcast goes up. But we're done with today on the radio. See you guys tomorrow.
