Starting point is 00:03:38 Morning, studio. Morning. Hey, so just a kind of a reset here. Lunchbox has been taking Zoom acting classes, and they're really expensive. Yeah. And your goal what these classes is to blank. Make it to Hollywood.
Starting point is 00:03:52 Make it to the big screen. You know, start small here, local theater, commercials. The theater. First time we've heard you say the word theater. Yeah. Well, I just, I mean, I try to give those actors some credit, but I really want to make the big screen. Lunchbox is taking these Zoom classes, and we haven't heard in the audio recently.
Starting point is 00:04:10 The theory is he's being scammed because he pays like, how much a month? Well, okay, I said 300 a month. It's 300 every six weeks. So you guys, I mean... It's still a lot. Oh. Okay.
Starting point is 00:04:21 Yeah. So here is Lunchbox, and do you give context in the clip? I'm just Professor Plum, guys. I just pick it up right in the middle of action. Professor Plum. From Clue? Y'all are acting out Clue? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:34 Are you just playing the game on? line. No, there's what I think is show. There's a movie. Oh. Yeah, like, you know, we've done sitcoms. This week we're going to do checkers. No, we've done sitcoms and so we wanted to expand and try a movie. So you're acting as Professor Plum. Yes. What is Professor Plum doing? This is a scene when they're in the house and everybody's like freaking out because they're trying to get into the locked room. Okay. In the locked house. Here is Lunchbox as Professor Plum in his acting class. The door's locked.
Starting point is 00:05:05 I know. Then unlock it. Where's the key? Never mind about the key. Unlock the door. Can't unlock the door without the key. Let us in. Let us in.
Starting point is 00:05:18 There's a secret passageway from the conservatory. Is that the same gun? From the cupboard? But it was locked. No, it was unlocked. Unlocked. But yes. See for yourself.
Starting point is 00:05:32 Boom! I don't know what's happening. I just... Do you feel like we're being pranked here? A little bit. I'm like... So he's just paying to have like a community of people. Aw, I mean, it's kind of cute.
Starting point is 00:05:48 It's like, I know, like this is like a hobby that he... Yeah, and people pay for hobbies. Yeah, it's fine. So this is the thing. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Like you're paying for an activity. Is that the same going? What was that?
Starting point is 00:06:01 I didn't know. time was happening if I being on it. That was a shock to me being shocked like. Oh. I heard the shock. Okay. Yeah, yeah. I was like, whoa, because that's the gun we've been talking about that was missing. And then it's there, it's like, is that the same gun? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:16 Oh, Amy, your feedback to him. Keep it up. Okay. Eddie? I just have a question. Just because it's acting classes and they're in Zoom, are you guys standing and acting things out or is this just purely a vocal exercise? Both. Okay. So you're moving around when you do all.
Starting point is 00:06:32 But you've got to stay in camera shot. Yeah, I didn't know what was going on, but I was a little confused. I mean... Sounds like every Zoom business meeting I had. That sounds exactly like that. You recorded it. It does sound like that. I would say keep at it.
Starting point is 00:06:45 Thank you. Obviously, you are year one. Right. I mean, I don't think Brad Pitt was that good in year one. Leonardo DiCaprio, he was not winning Golden Globes and Oscars year one. So what's the goal when you're like 60 to move out to L.A.? Yeah. No, probably by a 45.
Starting point is 00:07:04 So in the next five years. So in the next five years, you want to move to Los Angeles and be an actor? Yes. Why not just attack it right now? Well, I mean, I need to have a steady paycheck right now. I have a family. Three kids. A wife, a dog.
Starting point is 00:07:17 In five years, you're not going to have those kids. No, five years, I'll be able to rely solely on acting. Because you don't have built up. Yes, I'll build up a portfolio. He's going to build up all his Zoom classes. Oh. Okay. I mean, laugh at me now, guys.
Starting point is 00:07:31 Then when you want tickets to Oscars, don't come of calling. I don't want to go to the Oscars, but... Yeah, you do. You will. Maybe something else. If you were nominated, you better believe we'll be there. Oh, well, yeah, of course we would want to be there. Nah, uh, uh, uh, not the way you guys treat me right now. Better buy your own ticket.
Starting point is 00:07:44 I like it that you're doing. I think it's cool. Thank you. I think it's good. I think it's pretty overpriced since you're paying $300 for every six week and you're just getting on a Zoom and reading movie scripts. Uh, sometimes sitcoms. And sitcoms scripts?
Starting point is 00:07:57 But have you thought about switching over to something where you could be in person now? Well, yeah, yes, they're just not comfortable. Some people, you take a vote in the class and they said... There's other places. Like, I was looking them up in town and there's... How am I going to leave my class? Maybe you've not grown it because they kind of sound sucky too. No.
Starting point is 00:08:13 Wait, wait, two, that would imply... I mean, sorry, they kind of... Everybody's good. Everybody's good. Yeah, yeah, it was good. Okay. I liked it. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:08:22 Keep at it. I will. And you do it every week. Yeah, every week. This next week I didn't get cast, though. What, you can pay money. and not get cast? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:31 Oh, my God. If I paid money for this and did not get cast in the fake show, I'd be so mad. Do you have to sit in on the Zoom and watch other people act?
Starting point is 00:08:39 I mean, if you want to, you don't have to show up. And you pay your money and don't show up? No, no, I'm showing up. Because I want to see if I can learn something from watching someone else.
Starting point is 00:08:50 Oh, there'd be a role for me if I spent. Hey, Morgan, as a college actor, someone that's done a lot of this. That's being. Yeah, what is your advice to lunchbox? I mean, I think he should keep pursuing it if it's what he wants to do,
Starting point is 00:09:00 but he definitely needs to find another class. And he needs to do it in person because this is not benefiting him. Find an in-person class. Okay. Did you pay for five years already? She gets you up front and you commit to life. Bones, these are all his friends, though. This is community, though.
Starting point is 00:09:12 He's fine. Do you know a single one of them in real life? No. Oh, okay. Do you ever text with any of them? No. You ever met any of them? Nope.
Starting point is 00:09:19 Okay. Then find a new class. Does the teacher ever say, like, cut, do it this way? Oh, yeah, yeah. Okay. And her experience was, she did a couple things in college. So Morgan's. I don't know, guys.
Starting point is 00:09:33 I'm just glad you have something. I think it's cool. In person, we'll take you to the next level. Which, like, if you've got a five-year plan, we need to, like, expedite this. Let's go. Speed up a little bit. All right. Thank you, lunchbox for sharing that with us.
Starting point is 00:09:44 Do you feel good about it? I feel great. I feel like you guys are giving me some good, like, feedback. You're being rude, but you're giving good feedback. And that's what you do. Exactly. That's your style. That is your love language.
Starting point is 00:09:54 Rood. Whatever your problem is, whatever your problem is, Whatever your question is, you can send it to us. We have a mailbag. We check it every single day. Morgan, what's the email address that people want to reach out? Mailbag at bobbybones.com. You send an email and we read it all the air.
Starting point is 00:10:12 It's something we call Bobby's Mailbag. Yeah. Hello, Bobby Bones. My name's Nick, and I'm a long-time fan and I've had a really big problem. I need some advice. This past weekend, I put all of my money on the Super Bowl and lost. Uh-oh.
Starting point is 00:10:27 I can't even think about it without getting nauseous. I literally won't have any money until March because it's when I get my next check. I had to borrow money from my brother just to make it this week. The worst part is, I have to tell my girlfriend today that I canceled our anniversary dinner because I can't afford to take her out this weekend. I never told her how much I've been on the Super Bowl, so I'm in a really tight spot. So here's the question. How do I make our anniversary really special for her without breaking?
Starting point is 00:10:57 the bank. Should I just tell her the reservation fell apart or admit I lost all my money betting on the Super Bowl? Signed Nick. This is tough. To see how this is only two options? Well, we can talk about that. Let me say to first, Nick, to you, never bet money that you're not okay losing. Right. We don't, not that you like losing, because somebody likes to lose, but that your life is still going to be the same quality if you lose the money. Right. So that's first, because I bet. I'm big draft kings guy. I love it.
Starting point is 00:11:28 Love sports. Love betting. We'll never bet a dollar that I don't feel comfortable losing. Because there's a chance you're going to lose it. There's odds are you going to lose. Correct. So that's first. Secondly, bro, I told you to bet on the Bengals plus four and a half.
Starting point is 00:11:44 I don't know what more I can do for you, buddy. And now let's talk about the situation. I don't think you lie and say the reservation fell apart. I think my girlfriend. It's almost like you need a babysat. If you're betting all of your money and you're losing it, you are not mature enough to make great decisions. You need to let her know this so she can monitor you for now on. We've had a similar issue here on this show.
Starting point is 00:12:10 Yes, that's correct. And I speak. Oh, boy. Eddie and Ray both lower their heads. Our wives monitor our activity now. Ray, I'm going to go to you first. Your wife won't let you have an account anymore. Yeah, we have a couple's account.
Starting point is 00:12:25 We're both in on. She plays the bets. Yeah, but why? I don't know. Just keeps it safe, keeps it honest, so she sees it all. Because you were losing a little too much money? I was. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:35 And I got some advice for them. Probably not the best advice, but there is a way around this. Oh, you're not getting up. Okay, go ahead. There's same-day loans where you can go. Okay. Stop it. Stop it.
Starting point is 00:12:47 This is something, though. There is same-day loans that you can owe a lot of money back. Way more than you took out. Way more. Yeah, because they charge you. Yes. Way more. So raise advice
Starting point is 00:12:57 this same day loans. Have you done that? Yeah, I have. They charge you about $20 a day. If there's a way for you to get the money in a week, you're only going to charge yourself about $100. But you can still have the amazing dinner and whatever you're going to do with her. No, don't do this.
Starting point is 00:13:11 I agree, don't do it. But we're letting all voices speak here. Eddie, as someone who struggle with this, whose wife gives him an allowance to bet. $40 a month. And it's very helpful. $40 a month just gives me a little bit of security that I'm not going to go crazy. because gambling is addictive. It's just something you're always chasing like, oh, I can get my money back.
Starting point is 00:13:29 I can make more money. Next thing you know, you're this guy. But here's the thing. He needs to be honest with her. He needs to say, hey, look, I messed up. This is what I did. But look, I'm being honest with you. This is our situation now.
Starting point is 00:13:43 I promise I'll do better and then move forward with it. I mean, look, he made a mistake. We've all been there. I think she'll understand. If she doesn't understand, then she might have already been looking for a way out anyway. So I say, yeah, you can just explain the situation to her and say, I'm going to make this up to you. See, this is where Bobby, you need to come in and, like,
Starting point is 00:14:03 figure out how he can still make the anniversary special on no money. Send me your Venmo. I'll send you $50. Wait, you're rewarding him for bad decisions. Yeah, no, no, he made a mistake. He needs to learn. Yeah, and then he'll gamble that. If he... That's the chasing I was talking about.
Starting point is 00:14:17 I mean, I guess it's true. So don't give him money for a dinner? No. I don't think so. Okay, you need to admit it to her and then figure out cheaply to do it. It's on you, but you have to admit it to her. But like you have, like, you know, like a playlist is free, like a, of songs and construction paper. Not free. Cissors.
Starting point is 00:14:35 He had to cancel his subscription to streaming services. You're just in trouble. I'm just going to say it. You're just in trouble. Words are free? Write or a poem. Yeah, that's great and all, but she's like, where's the food? I'm hungry. Yeah. She can't eat that. Roll cheese, tomato soup. You can do that. You can do that. But I think you admit it first and then say, hey, I'm never going to do this again because I don't have money
Starting point is 00:14:55 I want to make you dinner. Make homemade cookies. And then I would also give her like a stack of IOUs for specific things. Ooh, coupon book. Yeah, exactly. That's like I owe you one massage. You can cash in a seat down 30 minutes.
Starting point is 00:15:06 That's a sweet thing. Yes. Probably like, I wish you could buy me a massage but you spend on your money. Can't afford that. Nick, you're in trouble. Understand it, accept it. Yeah, this will...
Starting point is 00:15:17 Admit it. And learn from... Yes, and move forward. This will be, this is something that's either going to strengthen your relationship or destroy it. But let's hope for the best.
Starting point is 00:15:29 And like I said, if it doesn't lean towards the strengthening, then maybe, you know, it wasn't meant to be. And there's always same day loans. No, no, no, no. That's the mail bag. We've got your email and we've read it on the air. Now it's about to close Bobby's mail bag.
Starting point is 00:15:45 Yeah. Fun fact Friday. The most fun facts of the week. Count of down. Number five. So a baby whale is called a calf. So blue whale calves. They gain 200 pounds a day every day for the first year of their lives.
Starting point is 00:16:03 That's crazy. Now this is mostly while they're nursing, which they do for their first like, yeah, eight to ten months. Crazy. 200 pounds. That's fast. That's just a little trivia that you can keep in your back pocket. A whale baby is a cab. I don't think they did that.
Starting point is 00:16:17 Yeah. Number four. So when the CIA joined Twitter, their first tweet said, we can neither confirm nor deny that this is our first tweet. And then I went to the CIA's Twitter page to see if they really did have one. And they do. They put up articles and helpful information about things. Like fun things you can click on to see if you'd enjoy writing an invisible ink.
Starting point is 00:16:40 Stuff like that. Probably all hacking into your computer, but good for them. CIA International FBI Domestic. What? Fun fact. Whoa. What? What?
Starting point is 00:16:49 FBI domestic CIA International Oh, I didn't know that. I want a fact check that, Mikey, but I think that's it. Number three. Reading gossip about a celebrity creates a momentary feeling in your brain that's as good as eating great food or winning money.
Starting point is 00:17:09 That's weird. I kind of feel bad about that one, but sometimes I do get a rush. Seeing something about J-Lo and Ben Affleck. As I get a little older, I can get a crowd. Right. Yeah, I don't care as much. anymore. All right. So in 2018, a woman
Starting point is 00:17:24 paid a Swiss cafe $7,732 for a cup of coffee and a cake after she accidentally entered her pincode as the tip. Oh. That's funny. Yeah, she never got a refund. Now we all know her pinco.
Starting point is 00:17:41 Hey, that is not funny. And that's not funny. 7-732s are pin code, yeah. Wow. I know. How do they not give her a refund? I know. Come on. How does anyone go to that place if they ever here they didn't give that poor woman a refund. Number one. So you have a better chance of getting into Harvard than getting a job at Apple's Genius Bar.
Starting point is 00:18:00 Huh. Out of 10,000 applications, only about 200 people get jobs. So that's a 2% acceptance rate. And Harvard is at a 5% acceptance rate. What? Yeah. Have you ever gone to the Genius Bar Bones? Yes.
Starting point is 00:18:13 Do they always have a solution? Because I feel like the solution I've always got is you need a new computer. Yep. About it. So I've had them fix it. Okay, all right, I'm just saying. I've had them fix things. I've had the Geek Squad fix things too.
Starting point is 00:18:24 But I always feel like no matter what, they're always looking at my pictures. No matter what. Even if it's not to do with that, they're always looking at my pictures. I just thought it was crazy how selective they are, the genius bar. I thought it wouldn't be that hard to get a job there, but. I think you have to be a genius. Clearly. Yeah, you've got to be smart.
Starting point is 00:18:43 The CIA mostly operates outside the United States to gather intelligence. The FBI predominantly operates within the United States to gather. gather intelligence and tackle federal crimes. You were right. So CIA International, FBI, domestic. Don't credit me, but just use that at some point. People be like, dang, that's smart. So smart.
Starting point is 00:18:59 You're genius. The latest from Nashville and Hollywood. Morgan No. 2's 32nd Skinny. John Party released a new song called Last Night Lonely. Jake Owen shared a new song. It's called Fishing on a River. So now I'm sitting in a bar. River's instead of winning my life.
Starting point is 00:19:45 Catching me a buzz, not catching me a bass running up the tap instead of that Mercury 25. Reba shared a few new songs from her live concert album coming out on March 25th. Here's one of them. I'm Morgan number two. That's your skinny. It's time for the good news. With Amy. Tell me something good.
Starting point is 00:20:18 I love when kids are inspiring. is 10 years old. He's about to turn 11. But instead of gifts for his birthday, he wants donations for others. And he's done this for six years straight. He said every time he gets a box of donations, which she's asking for baby formula, wipes, and outlet covers, I guess, because, you know, new parents need that to cover their outlets. He jumps up and down 40 times because he gets so excited. How old is it again? He's 10 turning 11. And this will be the six years. Yeah, the year that he's asked for donations. four kids at your house.
Starting point is 00:20:53 Yeah. With your, it's two now. Did you guys do the outlet covers? Is that a thing? Outlet covers are a big thing, yes. But did you do them for your fourth kid, I'm asking? Because I'm sure you do on kid one, maybe on kid two.
Starting point is 00:21:04 But by the time it's the fourth kid? I think for the last 14 years, we've just had covers in our outlets. Oh, they've just always been covered. Yeah. Is that because of you? I don't know. So I don't stick things in them. What Bobby's asking is by the fourth kid or you're like,
Starting point is 00:21:17 eh, if they stick their finger in there, it's fine. No, no. That's still important. You got to cover those. So electrocuted kids aren't good even if it's a poor one. Yeah. No, you keep doing it. Got it. That's a great story, Amy. That's what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good.
Starting point is 00:21:31 Let's play the easiest trivia game in the whole wide world. It's easy trivia. Amy, you're up first. In what state would you find Disney World? Florida. Correct. Lunchbox. What city is the Empire State Building? New York City. Correct.
Starting point is 00:21:55 Eddie, what year, was the Declaration of Independence signed and adopted. I can't get this wrong, right? Nobody goes home first round. Good. 1842. Oh my gosh. Why do... 1776. I truly didn't know that one, guys. Why couldn't he have gotten that one?
Starting point is 00:22:11 H-2-0 is the formula for what? Water. Correct. As you can see, these are all super easy questions. We'll go around the room until someone misses and they are eliminated. Eddie is the three-time champion. Tom Brady. He's wearing the... I'm on my way.
Starting point is 00:22:27 He's wearing the tiara right now. Yes. If you win, you get the tiara. Look how shiny that is. We're all evened up. Ready, team? Mm-hmm. Amy, you're up first.
Starting point is 00:22:36 How many stripes are displayed on the American flag? 13. Correct. Lunchbox. What famous ocean liner sank on her first voyage in 1912? Ah, Titanic. Correct. Eddie, what was the last name of the flying pioneers, Orville and Wilbur?
Starting point is 00:22:57 Right. Correct. I almost said. Bettenbacher. Morgan. I thought that was it. Who was the 16th president of the United States? Oh, come on.
Starting point is 00:23:08 I don't. I don't know. The 16th president of the United States. Numbers. They get me, you know. 16th president. Thomas Jefferson. You don't want to hear this next sound.
Starting point is 00:23:30 It pains me to push the button, but now... You've been Bo. You've been boned. Cool, cool, cool, cool. Everybody? Lincoln. Abraham Lincoln. Sweet.
Starting point is 00:23:39 Ever heard of them? I mean, yes, definitely heard of him. Do not know the numbers. Top hat. Morgan has been eliminated. Amy, the Statue of Liberty came from what country to the United States? France. Wow.
Starting point is 00:23:54 Smart France. With authority. Lunchbox, what's the capital of Louisiana? Louisiana. Louisiana. And for the record, and missed the capital of Tennessee, Nashville, and we live here. So capitals, not our strong suit.
Starting point is 00:24:12 Lunchbox capital of Louisiana is? There's only Louisiana. I can name one city in Louisiana, New Orleans. What else is in Louisiana, though? You can name a lot. I am really, oh, Shreveport could be one. I don't know how big that is, though. Biloxi, that's Mississippi.
Starting point is 00:24:32 Oh, I know. I know it. Monroe. Monroe, Louisiana. Wow. Wow. That's wrong. You've been bowed. I just came to you, huh? Yeah, I just came to me. The answer is? Baton Rouge. It's the Baton Rouge? Okay, I didn't know for sure. New Orleans or Baton Rouge.
Starting point is 00:24:47 Eddie, come on. You're down to two. If you missed this, Amy wins. That was a tough one. Let's go. Eddie, and what movie will you find characters who are looking for the following things? A brain, a heart, and courage. The Wizard of Oz. Correct.
Starting point is 00:25:05 Amy, what's the middle layer of planet? Earth called. There's the crust, the blank, and the core. Mantle. Correct. English is the most spoken language in America, Eddie. What's the second most spoken language? Oh, Spanish. Correct. Good for you. Thank you. Amy, who invented the model T car in 1908? Henry Ford. Correct. Eddie, what's the nickname for the bell on the clock at the Palace of Westminster and London? Big bell clock. What's it called? Ah, it's funny you said big. That's Big Ben. Yeah, that big.
Starting point is 00:25:48 What is Earth's only natural satellite, Amy? She go. Oh, she's going. I don't even know what that means. What's Earth's only natural satellites? A natural satellite? I didn't know if satellites, I thought satellites, we made them and put them up. There's only one that we didn't.
Starting point is 00:26:11 It's natural. Mm-hmm. the natural satellite a natural satellite the sun no I don't know how was I supposed to know this
Starting point is 00:26:27 it's the moon really why is that a natural satellite yeah because it's natural it's circling us no one made it natural we didn't put it up there Amy that was tough
Starting point is 00:26:37 no we didn't make the moon no I know we didn't make the moon but I'm like I okay I guess I need this to win I guess I need to know the definition I'm going to miss this. You're still in. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:26:48 Hopefully it'll be something easy, like how you miss 1776. What's the boiling point of water in Fahrenheit? Amy threw arms up like it was the easiest question ever. Is it? Yes. Boiling. What's the boiling point of water in Fahrenheit? For the win, Eddie.
Starting point is 00:27:06 I do boil my eggs all the time, but it's just medium, medium high, high on the stove. I don't know, the temperature bones, but I'm going to guess a 100. I'm back in. That's not it? What would you have said? It's 212. Correct. How do you know that?
Starting point is 00:27:23 Would you have got the moon? No, I was going to guess direct TV on that one. He was a hater on... I had no idea, bone. But psychologically, he tried to get in my head and say, you're gone, and it did work. I said she gone. But now I would look, I'm in a research the definition of satellite. A satellite is something that orbits you naturally.
Starting point is 00:27:42 That way I can learn. I'm not mad about the question. You were being awfully snippy about it, though. No, I'm saying I can use this to learn. Wasn't she being snippy guys? No. Amy gets angry in this game. Amy,
Starting point is 00:27:52 Amy, lose the snippiness. You're still in. He missed his. So just refocus. I wasn't being snippy. I'm actually going to learn. There are, okay, here we go.
Starting point is 00:28:00 There are six colors on a Rubik's cube. You two will go back and forth until one of you misses one. What? Battle for you now. Hold on. Hold on the air. Can we write them down?
Starting point is 00:28:11 Yeah, we have to. No, Amy, right in the air. No, he says no. No? Right in the air. Head. It is heads, you'll go first. Okay.
Starting point is 00:28:18 What are the six colors on a Rubik cube? Red. Red is correct. Eddie. White. White is correct. Amy. Yellow.
Starting point is 00:28:26 Yellow is correct. Eddie? Green. Green is correct. Amy? Blue is correct. Eddie, there's one more color. Okay.
Starting point is 00:28:33 What have we said? Tough. Okay. You said tough. White. Red, yellow, blue. Oh, I got it. Orange.
Starting point is 00:28:44 Correct. That's it. Wow! Let's go! Speed round. There are three answers in speed round. Buzz in with your name as your buzzer. What's the largest state in the U.S. by population?
Starting point is 00:29:01 Amy. New York. Incorrect, Eddie. California. Correct. Eddie won Amy Zero. Next round. I thought people lived up there. People, they stack up.
Starting point is 00:29:12 They live up there. In New York. Dang it. They stack up in buildings. Here we go. In which month is Labor Day? Amy. Amy.
Starting point is 00:29:25 September. Correct. Oh, man. Oh, wow. Here we go. We tied. She gone. Final question.
Starting point is 00:29:35 What's the square root of 144? Amy. 12. Correct. Yes. Yes. Amy. You know what?
Starting point is 00:29:42 Let's go. Get loose. Oops. Get loose. Yeah. How's that tiara now? You stop yelling at that. Yes.
Starting point is 00:29:53 Amy, you got the first point. Thank you. Thank you. You don't get the tiara. It feels good. But you get, Amy's, Amy won, everybody on zero. Yeah. Amy, you got the first touchdown, Amy.
Starting point is 00:30:02 Thank you. My job 16 years ago, selling granite and tile, took the square root of a lot of stuff. Oh, wow. Oh, wow, that's cool. Okay. Well, Amy's our first victory. Nice job.
Starting point is 00:30:13 And that's that. Okay. Okay. Here's a winner for you. In a space of 43 years, this guy married 14 women, tricking them into thinking that he was something that he wasn't. He married 14, quote, well-paid women over 43 years, convincing them he was a traveling health official.
Starting point is 00:30:31 He is from India. He has five children from his first two wives. He was finally caught when one of his wives spotted text messages on his phone. So it wasn't like they were all married new of each other. How do you even keep up with that? I just wouldn't know the stories I told one of them. You'd have to keep a detailed journal. Like when I go to my therapist, he keeps a journal of what I say so he can remember it,
Starting point is 00:30:49 because I'm sure he has a lot of clients. This guy had to be like, okay, so you said this, it writes it down, leaves with a notebook. She's like, why you're writing, write him everything I say? So at the time of his arrest, he had 11 bank cards, 14 bank accounts, and five different identity cards. Wow. How can this guy remember? The story here, the headline's buried. The story here is how did this guy maintain in any sense of normalcy with his brain not exploding.
Starting point is 00:31:12 I mean, and some people don't even find love once. I don't know. Love is what he found. It's not love, Amy. I don't know. Maybe, again, I don't think it's love. Well, for those women, they thought maybe they were. Now, that I could sign up for. But yeah, he targeted mostly middle-aged divorcees, teachers, doctors, and lawyers who were looking for companionship or marriage.
Starting point is 00:31:31 He married 14 of them. They all lived a pretty comfortable life because he's pretty rich. Wow. Hooked them up. All educated people that they couldn't even spot that he was deceiving them. Fourteen. I mean, imagine. Imagine what he's paying for the weddings.
Starting point is 00:31:46 Yeah, does he have big weddings? Probably not. Is there divorcee? So he's probably like, hey, let's just go down with the house. Classic. Guy saving a bug. He's on it before. Here's Amy's pile of stories. So the DeLorean is coming back.
Starting point is 00:32:00 You know, the DeLorean? I do. Hey, Morgan. Let's ask Morgan. She's 28. Okay. The DeLorean. I do.
Starting point is 00:32:07 Isn't it from Back to the Future? Yay. Have you seen it? No, I have not seen it. I thought she's going to be like, isn't that Walker Hayes is something? You would love back to the future. Yeah. Yes.
Starting point is 00:32:17 It's genius. It's still so good. Yeah, but you guys have been saying that about a lot of things. I'm not sure, though. But I never said that Seinfeld was cool. I always said it was a little overrated, to be fair. Okay. But I think, hmm.
Starting point is 00:32:32 I didn't think if I want a homework or that. Dude, it's genius. Isn't there like two of them? There's three. Oh. But it's so good. I watched it like last. Anyway, we'll come back to that.
Starting point is 00:32:40 Amy, what do you got with the Doloreon? So they built a new facility in San Antonio. Antonio, that's where they're putting the Doloreans together. And it's like, if you're not familiar, like, the doors, what do they call that? They open up. They're called like. They go up. Seagull wings or something.
Starting point is 00:32:54 They do look like Seagull wings. That's cool. I might have that wrong. Don't quote me. But they say, hashtag electric vehicle, hashtag luxury. So that's what we can expect from the DeLorean. Yeah, I can bet you it won't be a $19,000 car. I bet you it's going to be expensive.
Starting point is 00:33:08 Yeah, pretty expensive. What if it travels in time, though? Yes, does it have the flux capacity? Oh, that would be awesome. I'd buy that one. Oh, goal wing. that's what they're called going doors just in case you wanted to know.
Starting point is 00:33:16 I don't know what that means. All right, what else you got? A woman hooked up with a guy on Tinder or like connected, like, hey, we're going to go on a date. And he picks her up and says, hey, how spontaneous are you? And she's like, ah, pretty. So he takes her to a restaurant where they're celebrating his mom's birthday party and he's like showing his family, this is my girlfriend.
Starting point is 00:33:36 Like he really, he needed a date and he wanted his family to think he was in a relationship. So last minute. You have to tell him that before it. You have to tell them that before they get in the car. Yeah, well, he just asked her if she was spontaneous. She said she was shocked when she walked in the restaurant, but she decided to play along and it was fun.
Starting point is 00:33:53 She talked about it on TikTok. It made me think of the movie Love Hard that came out on Netflix around Christmas time that you could still watch now. It's not, I mean, it has to do with Christmas, but it's still a really cute, like a rom-com. I don't know how I feel about that. I don't like that situation. It makes me feeling comfortable.
Starting point is 00:34:07 I bet you they don't go out again. Or maybe they go out once more because she got a little, little something from it on TikTok. But I can't imagine that lasting. All right, what else? Paramount Plus has ordered more episodes of 1883, so that means Timmergall and Faith Hill still have some work. You say more episodes, like another season? Well, they don't want to call it season two,
Starting point is 00:34:26 and we're thinking it's to avoid pay raises. So they're just calling it more episodes. What if they did that with us? Like, we're just going to do more years. Yeah, we're not going to do it. What? Excuse me? And then, get this.
Starting point is 00:34:39 I saw that Paramount has also ordered another yellow Stone prequel. 1492. It's Columbus's No, 1932. So it's after that. So it's during the Prohibition and the Great Depression and stuff like that. So hey, we'll just keep
Starting point is 00:34:57 going. The Dutton family history going back, back, back, back. It'll watch. It'll probably be good. But they're doing that 90s show, which was that 70s show, a spinoff of that. Wow. The parents are on it. Red and the Foreman's. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:35:12 No. Red and Kitty. Kitty. Kitty. Yeah, yeah, yeah. All right, Amy, thank you for letting me know that Tim and Fates still have work. Yes. Good for them. Yes, good for them. I'm Amy. That's my pile. That was Amy's pile of stories. It's time for the good news. With lunchbox. Stay home is something good.
Starting point is 00:35:30 There's a woman home alone in Durham and she hears someone break in. So she hides in the closet, gets on her computer, finds the chat for the police, says, help. There's a man in my house. gives the address. Only problem is she contacted the police in Durham, England. So did she just Google?
Starting point is 00:35:48 Yes, Durham Police. Oh, no. And they were like, Cheerio, we go, it's a problem here. We're not going to be able to make it, mate. So then they get on the line
Starting point is 00:35:57 and they call. That's too terrible impressions, by the way. Mine was pretty bad, but his was worse. So it took it off of me. Mine was bad? Yeah, it's very bad. Well, they get on the line
Starting point is 00:36:06 and they get a hold of the Durham police. They go to the house, arrest the guy. Boom. What if they'd have been like, uh, wrong number, click. Sorry. You almost expect them to do that. I'm glad they did and it worked.
Starting point is 00:36:20 But who knew that you could get online, chat, and then they could contact the police over here? I didn't know that you can get online and chat with the police. I didn't even know that was the option. Did they not have a 911 that's equivalent to where you can, because you can text 911, can't you? You can text 911. But she had her computer. What did you have again? Computer.
Starting point is 00:36:40 But with your computer, I think you can stop. No, no, that's just FaceTime. Text 911. You can text. You don't text. You don't text. No, no, hold on. But what if she has a Dell?
Starting point is 00:36:52 It doesn't say she has a map. That's true. You guys are acting like it could be a desktop. I guess I look around the room and see only Macs anywhere. That's right. But still, if you're able to call or text any number, you should be able to text. No, it was an online chat. Okay, I'm like getting into the fight about how she is a great story.
Starting point is 00:37:08 Oh, it is. It's great. I just was like, well, it would have saved a drinking. Well, Amy's mad that she didn't eat some breakfast this morning. I'm not sure who it was. I'm great. It may have been me. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:37:17 Lunchbox is a great story. Shout out to the English place department. Nice, mate. Yeah. You sound Australian, but a bad. I'm not. Loud. Okay, that's what it's all about.
Starting point is 00:37:28 That was tell me something good. Over on the phones is Troy in Ohio. Troy, what's going on, buddy? I was going to see, to get the advice kind of everyone on playground. etiquette. So to kind of paint the picture here, my wife works a lot of weekends, so it's me with my two preschool kids to go to the playground. I just wanted to see, like, is it appropriate for me at the end to kind of offer to exchange numbers with the other parent? Because the kids, like, they're like, hey, can we have whatever over for a play date later? And then it's that awkward,
Starting point is 00:38:01 like, minute where, you know, I'm the, I'm the male, maybe asking for a mother's phone number, or do I give them my wife's phone number, or kind of what's the appropriate thing to do there? Amy, can you help Troy? Yeah, I think it's totally appropriate to be like, hey, we'd love us to start a group text with all the parents. I've got my wife on there. That way everyone is in the loop and then it's not like this weird thing where you're asking another mom for their number, even though if it's for the play date, that's totally fine. But just loop in your wife on the same text thread. Maybe she loops in her husband and then everyone's in the now.
Starting point is 00:38:34 That's good. And I also think stating that up front, like, hey, can I? I get your number for a play date so I can put me, you, my wife on a thread. Yep. So she knows immediately you're just not trying to get down. Yeah. So smart. Yeah, that's good.
Starting point is 00:38:50 I wouldn't have said that. I'd have been like, uh, we message my wife, please? You guys handle it. Just, just because you wouldn't, that's kind of a gray area. Yeah, you can feel. Yeah, but sometimes the mom of the one kid and the dad of the other kid, they're the ones that have to do the planning. But if you just keep everybody on a group text, then you're good.
Starting point is 00:39:09 Troy, I think that's a great idea. idea. What do you think about that? Yeah, I think it's a great idea. Thanks. The kind of solution we'd come up with, my wife is like, just hand him my number. And I'm like, how does she know that I'm handing your number? Maybe she thinks I'm giving me my number. You know, something creepy, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:39:24 But I just didn't want anyone at the playground to be weirded out by some, you know, dad of two kids offering phone numbers out. Well, yeah. I've got candy and phone numbers. Well, I just could you clarify how you would be handing the number? Yeah, I guess I would just pull out my phone and be like, Hey, you know, can I exchange numbers or whatever? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:39:44 Don't do that. Don't do that. I've never done it. I just walked away a couple of times. We're thinking like, oh, that they seem like nice people. Their kids seem, you know, well-behaved. It would be nice to, you know, kind of meet up again. But then you take that chance that, hey, I may never see them at the playground or at the park again.
Starting point is 00:39:59 Amy, B-Troy. Okay, I'm going to be a mall. Hello, hi. Go ahead. Beatroy. Hey, I saw that our kids are getting long possible play date in the future. Love to connect. like a group text with all the parents.
Starting point is 00:40:12 If you're down with that, I've got my wife, we'd love to hang out, our kids. Oh, that almost feels like. I know. I don't do that. Yeah, don't say hang out. Don't say hang out. I mean, rambles too much. Sorry, I ramble too much.
Starting point is 00:40:24 Listen, I have the good ideas. We'll see what happens. Yeah, we just don't know how to execute. Yeah, we'll see where it goes. Okay. Again. Come over. Go again.
Starting point is 00:40:32 Okay. Hey, so our kids are getting along if y'all are down. Yeah, I think you have to have a chemistry before. where you've already been talking for about 10, 50 minutes. Or the kids say something like, hey, my son said he'd love to have a play date with your kid. Could I start a group text with my wife? Because she helps, like, get this all coordinated. That's good.
Starting point is 00:40:54 That's good. Do you want to hang? Are you down? You can't say, are you down or hang out? Are you down? All right. Troy, what Amy's advice is to just make sure you talk about your wife and you link your wife into it immediately too. So she doesn't feel like you're just hitting on her. Yeah, good, good. Yeah, all good points, 100%. Deally noted. Thank you all.
Starting point is 00:41:10 Avoid asking her if she's down, though. For any reason whatsoever. Sorry, I didn't even say, are you down with? See what happens to you. That's a good one to not to do. Okay, okay. But when he said he was handing out his wife's number, I thought did he, like, pre-write it down on a piece of paper, and if he sees, like, a cool family, he goes over and slides them the paper.
Starting point is 00:41:31 Troy, thank you. Have a great day. Yeah. Yeah, thank you all. Take care, guys. See, buddy. Over to Amy with the morning, corny. The Morning Corny. What do you call a man in debt? Eddie? Not anymore, man.
Starting point is 00:41:48 Oh, that's true. He used to call. What do you call a man in debt? Owen. He's Owen. Great. That's great. That was the morning corny.
Starting point is 00:42:02 All right, a voicemail from James in Tampa. Let's go. I'm just calling and said, I think you should open every show every morning. with Abby's version of the National Anthem that'd be awesome thing. I think that's, yeah, that's right. We're not doing that. I think that's interesting.
Starting point is 00:42:16 I think Abby did a great job. Here is another voicemail. Yeah, I'll just listen to Abby singing the National Anthem and Lunchbox giving a crap about it. Well, I just heard it. And for somebody who does not do it for a living, that was pretty amazing.
Starting point is 00:42:36 And Lunchbox, sorry to say, but you got a real. wrong. You got it wrong, buddy. God have a blessed day. Appreciate that call. Abby is our phone screener. She performs under the name of Abby Lee Anderson. She's on the charts. How'd that feel? I can't believe it. I loved it. I think a lot of our callers, most of our callers are extremely supportive. I'm going to give lunchbox five seconds. I want to give them a little box to speak, but then that's it. Okay. So do you want it now or later? Oh, later. Okay. Abby, I was thinking about this because I think a lot of our listeners
Starting point is 00:43:09 love that you've put yourself out there to go, hey, I know I'm not a professional singer but I love our country, I want to sing this song, and if you guys like it, great if you don't, that's okay. So, I was talking with Eddie, and we actually want you to come down to Tampa with us and perform
Starting point is 00:43:24 on the 12th of March at Strawberry Festival with the Raging Idiots. Are you serious? Yeah, and you can start, because we're playing, we're one of the headliners, Yeah. That's insane. She's about to cry. I don't want to.
Starting point is 00:43:42 You can start this set with the national anthem and we'll bring you out and you'll do a couple songs with this. Oh my gosh. And not only that, because I can fly you down southwest in the morning and I'll fly you back that night, Southwest. And I'll even pay you $250 for your time. What in the world? So you're a paid artist.
Starting point is 00:44:03 You will come down to perform with us at Strawberry Festival, Saturday and March 12th, right instead of Tampa. Will you accept that? Well, I accept it, yeah? Yeah, I'll accept. Wow, her first like gig. That's crazy. Pay gig. Yeah, it's huge. I can't believe it. So, I'm very proud of you, especially you've had to endure some stuff on the show with lunchbox being like, don't do me. I ain't good. I think it's been great and I want you to come down to perform with us, okay? Well, thank you. Yes. I'm in. She's in. She's in. She's in. She's in, and we'll figure out what songs you want to sing. Heck, we could even do, Heads Carolina, Tells California.
Starting point is 00:44:45 Heads California. Yes. If you would like to do that again since you already know it. I love that one. Okay. So as of now, that's what we'll do. Okay, I'm putting in my calendar right now. Yes. Let's go, Abby. Got it, got it.
Starting point is 00:44:58 I'm going to let Lunchbox talk. So don't get, I'm going to give them five seconds. Is this what you meant by later? Yeah. Okay. Now. Lunchbox, you have five. seconds. Just don't be mean.
Starting point is 00:45:10 Go ahead. Bobby, you're going to regret this. Why? I mean, dude, you are, you're setting her up for failure. Why? She's a good, she's a paid gig. She's coming to play with us, The Raging Idiots. It's time for sure. Strawberry Festival. She's going to crush the national anthem. She's going to come out and rock the Jody Messina song. No, no, it's live. You understand that. Like, it's not where she gets to do a bunch of takes and she gets nervous in here. And, I mean, Abby, I'm pumped. You're putting the raging idiot's name with her name.
Starting point is 00:45:40 Your reputation is on the line. She probably helps us. Elevates it a little bit. Yes. Okay. And his time is up. Yeah. Well, Amy.
Starting point is 00:45:46 I was talking to Bobby. I wasn't even talking to Abby yet. A and B conversation. Yeah, AB conversation. See your way out. Ooh. Eighth grade. Okay.
Starting point is 00:45:54 X and Z, why are you in it? Live a dream for all of us. I feel like it's so fun. You're getting to go do that. It is. It's wild. So, we're in. We're confirmed.
Starting point is 00:46:07 Yes. Abby's with us, The Raging Idiots. March 12th. Oh, my gosh. Plant City, Florida, outside of Tampa at Strawberry Festival. She'll be doing the national anthem and she'll be coming up for a song in the middle of the show. What you think, what you think, Abby? I just got an email.
Starting point is 00:46:21 Oh, you got a email. Oh, they just emailed you? Yeah, a lot of people are asking for refunds. Funny, funny. If you guys want to get tickets, Ragingidiotes.com. Yeah. Get your tickets. Get your tickets now.
Starting point is 00:46:33 There's plenty of them. And then not only that, we'll record it and bring it back so people can see it. Okay. Oh, man. Yeah. I'm proud for you, Abby. It's going to be awesome. Thank you. That is amazing. Okay, there she is. There she is. Abby Lee Anderson.
Starting point is 00:46:48 I mean, do we want to play the National Anthem right now? No, let's go. No. Great verse. Here it is. This is Abby Lee Anderson singing the National Anthem on the Bobby Bone Show. Oh, say, can you see by the dawns of, early light
Starting point is 00:47:06 What so proudly We hailed At the twilight's last gleaming Whose broad stripes and bright Stars Through the perilous Fight Or the ramparts we watched
Starting point is 00:47:33 We're so gallantly streaming And the wrong cancer The bones bursted That our flag was still there Oh see does that star spangled Or the leg On the phone is Leah in Oklahoma Good morning Leah
Starting point is 00:48:33 Good morning. Morning. Morning studio. Morning. What's going on? So I just have a question. So I moved here to Oklahoma City from Iowa right out of high school about two years ago. And it was sort of a culture shock for me. Like obviously the political climate is very different than up north. But I think what struck me as the weirdest thing was how nice everybody is here.
Starting point is 00:48:55 Like every single person I ran into is just very nice. So my question to you guys is how do you tell the difference between southern hospitality? and whether or not somebody's like genuinely likes you. You know, one of the things that it takes people to a minute to adjust to when they move to the south is people waving for no reason. You know, where I grew up, I grew up in a rural town in Arkansas, 700 people, you waived if a car came. You had your hand on the steering wheel, somebody came, what up? Every car.
Starting point is 00:49:23 But people that would come from out of town, or especially from northern states, they would always look like, why is that person waving? Did I know them? No, that's just what we do. And if somebody's broken down, you're stopping it. You know, I think it's just something that has been passed down for generations that I don't think people in the South do because they're like, well, I really got to be hospitable.
Starting point is 00:49:43 I think they do it because their parents taught them that this is what you do. You help out others all the time because people are helping you out all the time. There are some bad eggs, obviously. But what I would assume is, if I were you, that everybody's got pure intentions. You know, you're in a place in Oklahoma where people are looking to help out because they can. And if I was in New York, I feel different about it. Really? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:50:07 You know? And I've been able to travel a little bit in my career that if people are really nice in certain parts of the country, I don't believe them. But if people are really nice in certain other parts of the country, I do believe them, just based on, you know, the culture of the area. So I would say to you that believe it and then occasionally you may get robbed. Yeah, believe it there. But for the most part, you're good. Yeah, people in the South, they're just taught to be nice. And so accept it.
Starting point is 00:50:33 Love it. You got it. Yeah, I do love it. People up north are just very standoffice. So it was really weird to me at first. But, I mean, I love it here. I wouldn't move back. So thank you, guys.
Starting point is 00:50:43 Yeah, I appreciate you calling. Have a great day. You too. All right, bye-bye. Let's go over to Greg in Texas. Greg, what's going on, buddy? Hey, what's going on? What's up?
Starting point is 00:50:55 Yeah, what's up? I just had a question for lunchbox this morning. Sure. I was listening a few days ago or last week, and they were talking about him going on a game show, potentially winning some money being on TV. Yeah, what about it? He was still thinking about that, or...
Starting point is 00:51:13 Are you planning on going to California? Oh, yeah, I'm planning on going to L.A. I just got to map out the schedule and see when they're filming because sometimes they're not filming. They go on vacations. Got to line it up where all the game shows are going to be there, and I can get there and make probably about $2 million. Would you like Scuba to do that for you?
Starting point is 00:51:29 Yeah, that would be great. Because I feel like you'll just talk about it, and never walk about it. No, no, I've looked at L.A. like what they film out there, but I haven't done anything about it. I haven't looked at plane tickets or anything like that. No, not that, but I'm saying he can tell you, like what game shows would you like to go and try to be on?
Starting point is 00:51:45 I think I don't know. See, do they do new deal or no deal? Because sometimes they have specials where deal or no deals on because that one makes a lot of money. Well, but you can list off everything you want, and he's not going to be able to get them all, but he can probably line up four or five. Okay, I would like to do.
Starting point is 00:51:58 Price is right. Okay. Let's make a deal. deal or no deal, the wall where they do like the Plinko chips and those are really my main... And supermarket suite. I would also encourage you
Starting point is 00:52:10 because those are big network shows that only tape in a certain season. I would encourage you too to look at game show network shows as well. Yeah, I've looked at some of those. I just need to learn... Because some of those, you need teams. A lot of them you need teams
Starting point is 00:52:21 and I don't have a team built around me. I guess I could get some listeners that live in California to meet me and be on my team. But yeah. Okay, so Scuba, today's Friday, February 18th. Yes. Do you think two weeks from now, you can meet us with the report of when you think it would be best for lunchbox to go for a week and what shows will be taping?
Starting point is 00:52:40 Yeah, I mean, I can kind of give you an idea right now if you want. Oh, you've already done this. Yeah, because the taping schedule, it depends on the show and the network, but they usually tape a lot now in the spring and then in the fall. Summer they're usually off, and they may do some pilot shows then in the summer, but I feel like the best time for lunchbox to go would either be fall later this year or spring next year. I know it's a long time from now, but we have to plan for this. So, but can you line up contacts or can you tell where to audition? Yeah, I mean, I can get some tickets. I can also get you in touch with some producers to audition maybe in advance.
Starting point is 00:53:11 So that way when you get there, you get right on the show. That would be crazy not to put you on just because of the reach of this show. I agree. Yeah, that's a given, yeah. Okay, so fall of this year, lunchbox will go to Hollywood. Yes, I would say fall or spring, depending on what we do line up. Of next year? Of next year?
Starting point is 00:53:26 Yeah. I mean, TV tapes out, as you know, they're far, far in advance. We ain't waiting a year for this bit. I'll be honest with it. Well, then what I would go on and dominate? Catch 21. Would you go on a show, would you, if he could line you up a shot with the producer, would you fly over there now for one show?
Starting point is 00:53:41 Oh yeah. Okay. Okay, we can try those options too. Spring's coming up. Or three. Yeah. Springs, I mean, what is it? It's February and March.
Starting point is 00:53:49 March April, May. Maybe we could line up. We don't need five shows. A couple shows. Okay. All right. All additions. Any luck with the sponsor to pay for us plane ticket or anything?
Starting point is 00:53:57 So far, we had a meeting yesterday and the two that I had in mind, didn't work out, so we're going to the drawing board and looking for other clients to help pay for it. It's wild that someone doesn't want to pay 400 bucks and get their name thrown all over a national show. Maybe they just don't want their name attached to lunchbox. Didn't think about that. I did not think about that. Yeah, what was the reason? The client, one of them didn't align with the idea, and the other one, I feel like the salesperson didn't try hard enough. That's some of the problem.
Starting point is 00:54:24 Of going on game shows? They didn't align with the idea of going on game shows? They had a different mindset of where they wanted to go with the show and what they wanted to do. It's $400.00 and it just will read whatever couple of lines. It has nothing to do with. They don't have to agree with a bit. Yes. Some of them do. Some are very particular, unfortunately, about what they want to align. But there's a lot of backstory to it. I mean, sometimes it's a salesperson not trying hard enough. Not to throw them out of the bus. It's unbelievable. It's unbelievable. Trust me, that's my life. It's like, come on. Like, there's an idea here. It's a slam dunk. A lot of promo. Let's do it. I mean, could we open it up to
Starting point is 00:54:58 anyone that wants to give lunchbox 500 bucks for a plane ticket and we read their line, you know, four or five times? Like, anyone? Like a local company? It can be anyone. Yeah, Frank lives on 3rd Street
Starting point is 00:55:07 and he'd like for you to follow him on Twitter. Yeah, there's no conflicts with the show. I don't see why not, yeah. I mean, I... This is how many... I can't believe it's that difficult. Like Scuba says... This is how we start selling the show.
Starting point is 00:55:20 Call or five. Frank's air conditioning. Guys, I already give away my own money. Yeah, but I can't... Like, that doesn't... People don't do that. Like, I have to... to do that. So it's not, to me, it's not crazy. You just got to go out and hustle for yourself.
Starting point is 00:55:33 If we keep waiting on salespeople or it's never going to happen because they have bigger priorities than getting 500 bucks from a client. They're trying to close deals for thousands and hundreds of thousands. I know. We're also thinking too with new clients that come aboard pitching it in the first stage, which may be helpful to get us a new client. What about this? Okay. Lunchbox road trips and a Hyundai to California. What? That would be six weeks. Oh, what? Sorry. Kaylyn did it in two days. That's a couple days, man.
Starting point is 00:56:00 Yeah, Kaylin did it in two days. Six weeks? Are you in a covered wagon? Via Alaska? Like, where are you going? Yeah, that's one of the clients that were... Stopping at different affiliates on the way? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:56:14 Doing affiliate visits. Wow, now you're talking. While on the road. Okay, so someone has to be with him. Road tripping. Yeah. Why can't he do this by himself, Amy? That'd be hilarious.
Starting point is 00:56:24 He's a dude. He can be a 29-hour drive. guys, I'm not driving by myself. Okay, then lunchbox and Abby. No. We already did that for four hours. So, I mean, we just were talking through a bit here. Yeah, yeah. I mean, it is 2,000 miles.
Starting point is 00:56:40 He drives from affiliate to affiliate over like four days. Does the show from an affiliate? Oh, my God. There's got to be a local client at each affiliate. Yeah, our local dealership are easily. Hyundai sponsors it. Yeah. Easy money. Yeah, totally. Guys, this is turning into a six-week thing.
Starting point is 00:56:59 If I'm stopping at different affiliates, I mean, guys, I'm going to be gone for half the year. We're up for it. That's great. That's the goal. We're up for it. Thank you, man. That would be a good, I'd be a strong bit, though. You go to Steve.
Starting point is 00:57:10 Totally, trust me, yeah. They're joking. Okay. Thank you for the call. Let's go over to Matthew in Ohio, who's on the phone now. Matthew, there is. Matthew, hey, buddy. Hey, Matthew, you there, bud?
Starting point is 00:57:27 Yes, I'm here. Yeah, you're on. What's up? Yeah, I had a question for lunchbox. Go ahead. So my question for lunchbox is, is what is his bitterness towards Abby and her singing career? She doesn't have a career, guys, you've got to quit calling it a career. How stupid we sound.
Starting point is 00:57:50 I think she's made more money singing at this point than any of your business ventures. You did make $350 on yours, but she's made more than that. I paid her more than that for Wichita and what she's going to make. it's Strawberry Festival. It is not a career. If you want to call that a career, then she's going to be homeless. It's a side hustle. It's a secondary job. It's a hobby with a passion that makes
Starting point is 00:58:12 our money. Oh my gosh. If you want to call that, if you call making... Well, answer the question. What did he say? What's your issue? Yeah, why are you bitter? Yeah, why are you bitter? I am bitter. I am bitter. I am not bitter. I am annoyed. Okay. But what's the difference? But why are you annoyed? I'm annoyed that you guys
Starting point is 00:58:28 build her up like she is amazing. she is fine for a back room dive bar singer that people are smoking their cigarettes and they're like oh there's someone singing okay patty let's smoke that's another menthol and let's go home I mean she's not good enough to be played on the radio and you guys are acting like she is the next Carrie Underwood like she could go on American Idol and win she wouldn't even make it to Hollywood for American Idol that's what I'm saying like you guys are acting like she's the greatest singer of all time that's what's annoying I don't think we are I think we're just a somebody that we care about.
Starting point is 00:59:01 Yeah. And to answer his question, he's bitter because the spotlight is not on him. That's the actual answer. No, Amy, it has nothing to do with the spotlight. Like, I don't care. Like, if she was good. No, I care about the spotlight. That's a lot.
Starting point is 00:59:12 Okay. But if she was good, then I would have no problem with it. But guys, you can find any, you can go to the grocery store and someone working there can sing better than Abby. I guarantee you. There's just no reason to insult her like that. There was no reason. But that's what I'm saying, but you guys keep building her up like she's amazing.
Starting point is 00:59:27 But she's... Okay. And I'll make that bet with D. $50. You go to the grocery store. Scoba go with you. You have 15 minutes to go in to find somebody that can sing better than Abby. Oh, 15 minutes. I don't, I can't... You said just go to the grocery store. Yeah, he said you can find anyone. I will make you
Starting point is 00:59:40 that bet. I give you a 20. That was your scenario. You created the scenario. You're a big store. You can go to any grocery store, but Scoob is going to go with you so you don't cheat until you don't line something up. And you have to go go and you're on the clock. You have to go find somebody that can sing better than Abby in 20 minutes. And if you do, I'll give you $50.
Starting point is 00:59:59 But see here's the problem No, no, no, no, no. No matter what. I'll go, but no matter who I bring, you're going to tell me they're not better than Abby. That's not true. We'll hear it. We can't, you can't deny it. Dude, what have you find a star? You guys say she's good.
Starting point is 01:00:12 So you deny that. You deny it, she's bad. Yeah, what if you find like... I'm putting it on the table here and we can bring it back up on Tuesday show, Mike. Bring it up. Yeah, we'll find somebody. We can put it back on the air. I think this is a fun bit.
Starting point is 01:00:23 You have 20 minutes to go into a store. So it can be someone shopping or working. Mm-hmm. Okay. But he'll be on a timer Yeah Lunchbox, what are you going to do? You're going to ask him to sing a line of a song?
Starting point is 01:00:32 How are you going to know how they sound? Well, no, Eddie, I'm just going to say, do you sing? Okay, cool, thanks. I wouldn't even talk about it with him. Like, of course I'm going to have them sing, you idiot. Wow, now I'm an idiot. No, Eddie goes, how are you going to do it, Eddie? Lunchbox, are you going to have them sing?
Starting point is 01:00:46 No, Eddie, I'm going to know they're better than Abby if I just talk to them. Well, you think anyone's better than Abby. Guys, do you understand how your logic is just mind going. So, Mike, we'll talk about this next week. And I think we'll just re-approach it new. And I think this is a great, great segment, but you can't line anybody up. Guys, I don't know anybody that sings.
Starting point is 01:01:05 You understand that? I don't know music. Oh, my gosh. She's pretty good. All right. No, you would know right away. Matthew, thank you very much. I hope you have a great day.
Starting point is 01:01:16 Thank you for the bit inspiration. Mm-hmm. I think... Yeah, go ahead, buddy. I think Abby is going to make more money than lunchbox's valentine gig that he had. Already has, actually. Already has. Well, yeah, because that's a charity case.
Starting point is 01:01:38 I mean, and we gave you all of your information on the air, too. Yeah. Like a charity case. And I had to earn it. No, you answered it. Like, if I would have said Abby, here's traveling across the country. Here's the thing. If I would have said Abby's great, guess how much money she would have made off this?
Starting point is 01:01:51 Zero dollars. So really, she owes me. Because you're doing this to make me mad. He thinks you're hiring her Just to make me mad. Just to frustrate me and it's working. So if he wasn't getting mad, she just wouldn't even... Yeah, no one would care.
Starting point is 01:02:04 It would be over. Yeah. So... Okay, well, we'll see how it goes. Funny bit, though. You guys like the bit? Yeah. I love it.
Starting point is 01:02:10 Yeah, I think it's great. Okay. I think it's pretty good. All those singers out there, you know, meet me at a... No, no. He's like, Javier's in Vegas. All right, Matthew, have a good day. All right, you guys too.
Starting point is 01:02:23 All right, see you. All right, follow on Instagram Mr. Bobby Bones if you'd like. Our scheduled guest today was John Party. He is not here. He is sick. You may know John Party from hits like Head Over Boots. Dirt on my boots.
Starting point is 01:02:44 Heartache on the dance floor. So because he couldn't make it, I thought we'd do a half obituary. He's not dead. He's just sick. So let's share our favorite. John Party memories. I'll go first. We were in Austin, Texas. The Raging Idiots were headlining a show, and John Party was opening for us.
Starting point is 01:03:03 And John brought his dad out, flew his dad over. And they party hard. John Sr. John Sr. That's the first time I met him. And I felt like John was just embarrassed by everything his dad would say. He always said like, come on, dad, don't say that. Except John's dad is John.
Starting point is 01:03:20 It's identical. And so now, John and I are friends, and I'm friends. with the family, but that was my first memory of meeting John Sr. It was before John and I got close. But that's my favorite John party moment, like getting to know the family. And a wild bunch it is. A wild bunch it is. Amy, your favorite John Party memory?
Starting point is 01:03:39 Well, it's probably when he joined us on Family Feud, like the actual show with Steve Harvey. And I guess shortly after that, I ran into him at a baby shower, and he was still upset about how we were treated on the show. We lost. We weren't treated. We were asked to name things that you wear above the waist that start with a bee. And, I mean, we thought we had everything to get all the points. And it ended up being blouse and, like, at this baby shower, ended up, like, getting audio of him there and bringing it into the show because he wouldn't stop talking about how blouse should never be on there.
Starting point is 01:04:12 Who wears blouses? Blah, blah, blah. That is kind of an older lady name. And we did go. They said, hey, they told me I could bring anybody I wanted. So we took me, Amy, Lunchbox, and took John and Lauren Elena. And then we got beat. It was tragic.
Starting point is 01:04:25 It was tragic. Eddie, your favorite John Party memory? Man, John's in this story, but I always think of John when I hear this story. We were at IHeart Festival in Austin, Texas, and a security guard comes up to me and says, hey, is this your cousin? And she puts up her phone, and it's my cousin, and she's taking a picture with John Party, and she has her hand in John's shirt touching his chest. Yes, that's my cousin. They said, I'm sorry we had to kick her out.
Starting point is 01:04:49 She was going to everyone's dressing room. She tried to just bother John Pardie. party the whole time and this is the picture we have of her and John was a good sport. He totally took a picture of my cousin. He said, that's all right. She's cool. I liked it. Probably did. But that's always because of my mind. Lunchbox? Man, I really miss John Party, but... He didn't die. He's... I didn't know. He's still with us. Yeah, I miss him. Well, it was right when he was a brand new artist. And we were walking downtown and it was Amy and I and John Party's walking down the street.
Starting point is 01:05:15 And Amy sees him and stops him and points at him and goes, hey, you're, you're that guy. sing. You are... Are you drunk too, maybe? I don't think so. He's just saying it. I think I was just like... And he was like, yes.
Starting point is 01:05:31 And she was like, you... And he was like, she goes, I don't know your name. And he goes, John Party. She goes, that's it! That's it! You're that guy. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:05:43 It was so funny. Yes, to be fair, he was brand new and I also don't think I was speaking that slowly at all. Yeah, it sounds like he did that on the podcast, so you can slow the voices down. Yeah. you've been drinking. Yeah, yeah, yeah. No, I was just excited
Starting point is 01:05:54 to see him. And he was cool about it too. I think he was excited that he's like, yeah, I'm the new guy on the scene. John Pardy, what up? Well, we love John Pardy and we're sad he couldn't be here today. I'm missing. It's time for the good news. With Bobby. Tell me something good. So this guy, Stephen
Starting point is 01:06:10 was in Detroit. Now, he lives in New Jersey, but he's back in a town where he had some friends and he calls one of his old friends from way back in the days. Like, I'd like to see you again. This old friend shows up. And he says, hey, I've been battling this rare liver disease for a couple of years. I've been trying everything.
Starting point is 01:06:26 And Steven's like, well, what can I do? And he goes, well, I could use a donor, but you have to match. And Stephen, who hadn't seen his buddy in years. I was like, well, let me test it out. It did. Matched. Donated a Pitha's liver to save his friend. Wow.
Starting point is 01:06:39 I mean, the fact that he matched was all. I mean, yeah. Did he even agree to do it? It's amazing that he matched. Because that's not typical that someone that will does match. And then it worked. The life-saving operation was performed on balance. Day. Stephen will be in recovery
Starting point is 01:06:54 for six to eight weeks. For Richard, who had to get it, his buddy, it'll take six months, but they're both going to be fine. Wow, that's amazing. Great story. That's what I'm talking about. That is what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good. Let's go over and talk to Joanna in Texas. Hey, Joanna, good morning.
Starting point is 01:07:13 Morning studio. Morning. I was calling you, because I have a, uh, what's wrong with people? What's wrong with people? What's What's wrong with people. Okay. Yeah. Joanna, do it. Do it again.
Starting point is 01:07:25 Ivo, what's wrong with people? What's wrong with people? I was talking, well, so I wanted to see what you guys would do. My husband and I were getting brunch. And this lady was walking her dog and then kind of awkwardly started to push her dog towards our table. So she was like a foot from our table and she was like, sorry, I'm trying to get him on the grass because he's taking a dump. And then she kind of just. avoided eye contact the rest of the time.
Starting point is 01:07:53 And then before she walked away, she goes, and I didn't bring a bag. And she walked off. And we were at a place that is actually sponsored by Camp Bow Wow. So there was plenty of bags that she could have gotten. And I was looking around because I thought we must be on camera or something. And my husband went and got a bag. He picked it up. And I saw the lady sitting at a different restaurant on the patio
Starting point is 01:08:16 with her dog. And I wanted to see what you guys would have done. I probably would have got Instagram stories up and recorded her walking away. I'm like, she brought a dog, she pooped by our table, and then she left it. Oh, wow. Probably. Wow, okay. And made a little bit of a scene, but been kind of funny. A little scene and kind of funny.
Starting point is 01:08:34 But yeah, I'd have been irritated, and I don't mind when my dog gets sick or poops cleaning it up. I don't like it, but I don't mind it because it's part of the dude. He's having a dog. It's your dog. Hey, clean it up after another dog. If I'm eating and another dog takes crap and I got to go clean it up, that's not, that's not for me. That's not your duty. Oh, awful.
Starting point is 01:08:59 Yeah, I'd have been upset, Joanna. I probably wouldn't have gone all crazy on that person and tried to fight them, but I would have probably recorded and made a slight hilarious scene of it, though. I'm, I, I, my husband was incredible because he actually went to the, to the restaurant and got like a to go bag to clean it up. but I was really rooting to pick up, and I'm not a confrontational person, but I thought it was just so ridiculous. I was rooting for it to be put onto her table. Oh, man. That elevated situation, for sure. But she's not confrontational.
Starting point is 01:09:35 Wow. That's funny. Put it on her plate. I mean, there's a lot of things that wouldn't have been confrontational. That would have been. Right. That would have been for her. But if you would have done that, you needed to record that on Instagram.
Starting point is 01:09:45 Yeah, definitely. Okay, Joanna. Well, thanks for sharing that story with us. I'm sorry that happened to you, but it sounds like you have a good. attitude about it. Can I do a shout-out real quick? You can, or she could have went and poop by the table herself.
Starting point is 01:09:57 No, stop. If she really wanted to elevate it, she could have. No, no, no. Okay, but... If you want to take it to the next level, that'll send the message. I see yours and I raise you mine. Okay, what's her shout-out?
Starting point is 01:10:10 Joanna, go ahead. Sorry, well, just to defend myself, not to be confrontation. I would have done it in a nice way like, hey, I pick this up for you. There's not a nice way. No, no, that's still conversational. So shout out to my sisters. It's actually all of our birthdays this week.
Starting point is 01:10:25 So shout out to Boo and Chai. And yourself. I always like when people call to give a shout at to somebody else and goes, it's their birthday. Oh, it's also mine. But it's their birthday. So all of you deserve a shout out, Joy. And even yourself.
Starting point is 01:10:35 You sound like a delightful person. Oh, thank you, Bobby. Yeah. All right. Have a good day. All right, y'all too. All right. See you.
Starting point is 01:10:42 Let's do the stories. Bobby's Big. Stories. I told you I had a friend that said, hey, sometimes a guy, a girl will get a guy's phone in a club or a bar and say, hey, can I use your phone to type my number in it? But instead they get in the Venmo and send them money. Oh, yeah. It's like, wait. Okay, listen to this story.
Starting point is 01:11:06 My phone is dead. I can't find my family and friends. I've lost him. He's on a scooter. And he's like, you know, can I please use your phone to call them? I just handed in my phone. He's like, you know, I can't find you guys. He said, do you mind if I open your maps?
Starting point is 01:11:17 So he opens maps, and I'm watching him do this. You know, that's the crazy part is I'm, you know, a foot away. I get alerts from my bank that my two Venmo transfers were approved. One was in the amount of $1,800. The other one was in the amount of $2,000. And that's when I stopped dead in my tracks. I feel like this is the new pickpocket. A kid in Orlando who looked at me about 12.
Starting point is 01:11:38 Told a woman, you heard it. Hey, I need help. Phone's dead. Wow. Parents are gone. So he got her phone and got it. in her Venmo and sent himself $4,000. Wow.
Starting point is 01:11:48 So she must have been just watching him use the phone, not really watch the screen to see what he was doing. God. That's crazy. But that's it. That's the new pickpocket. So sophisticated for a 12-year-old. A North Carolina woman who won $532,000 in the lottery
Starting point is 01:12:06 said she lost the ticket while moving, and her months-long search ended right before the ticket was set to expire. Andamea 32 of Graham. said she bought the quick pick ticket September 6th, and she learned that she won the jackpot while in the process and moving to a new home. She started to panic when she was unpacking and could not find the ticket. Quote, these last couple of months been very stressful trying to find it.
Starting point is 01:12:29 She found the ticket pressed between the pages of an old school notebook just days before it expired. It would have expired, actually, in a week and a half. Oh. But she found it. She will then collect the $532,000. and she has plans like vacation, paying bills, making investments, putting aside money for two young children. Amazing.
Starting point is 01:12:52 It doesn't sound like, though, she's putting aside money for taxes. Like all that. Okay. And then finally, listen to this, this cargo ship caught on fire. On this cargo ship, there's 189 Bentleys. Whoa. Oh, no. About $200,000 each.
Starting point is 01:13:09 1100 Porsches. 1100 Porsches. An unspecified number of Audi's. The cargo ship with 4,000 cars caught fire in the Atlantic Ocean. The Navy, the Portuguese Navy, rescued the crew members from the Felicity Ace. But there's a bunch of cars out there that are just burning. Oh, man. Did, like, Lamborghini said it on fire?
Starting point is 01:13:35 Oh, yeah. Another brand. That's why accounting for a varying mix of models and options, the actual dollar amount exceeds many, many, many, millions. Well, yeah. That's crazy. How helpless to just look. But at least it's like a big companies. Yeah, but somebody's having a bad day. Somebody's having a real bad day. Still the bottom lines. Not good. That's the news. Those were Bobby's Big. Stories. So apparently we make bad choices when we pick our own
Starting point is 01:14:11 profile pictures or when we pick pictures post of just ourselves. Like generally, we don't do a good job. There are times where Caitlin will go, I like this picture of you, you should post it. And I'm like, oh, it's a terrible picture. She's like, what do you mean? It's terrible. That's a great one. What they're saying is that's really the better one. Like, you have got to trust other people to know what's the best picture of you. And so I struggle with that because I need to be, I need to be in like either real still or with a smile. And Amy needs to be looking down and laughing. Amy has her exact... I look up now.
Starting point is 01:14:42 Her exact picture post too. I try. But they say you need to find somebody to pick the picture for you because you're not good at picking it for yourself. Yeah, that's probably true. Where I get harassed the most in a joking way in my own house is I put pictures like promo shots we have to do for different things as my profile pictures for like Uber Eats. Peloton.
Starting point is 01:15:07 I don't know. I just need a good picture. And I know it's a good picture because it's been selected. Yeah, it's been selected. It's professional. She's like, they're bringing you chilies. Your headshot. Why do you need a headshot?
Starting point is 01:15:18 Yeah, I would think you would avoid them seeing your professional headshot. Well, and then, you know, even in, I get on the Peloton and I ride and she's like, hey, why do you have your headshot from an award show right there? It says American Idol. I'm like, I don't know, I just need a picture to look good. I don't know. I don't want people to see an ugly picture. So what generally they say have someone else pick them for you because they will do a better job because they're somebody else.
Starting point is 01:15:44 Yeah, but still. Same. Same. They're looking for volunteers to test out a new jail. Okay. Would you live like a prisoner for a day or two or four days? Hundreds of people have jumped at the chance because they have started a new jail. They have not opened it yet and they want people to kind of do the walkthrough.
Starting point is 01:16:02 Live there for a few days. Be a prisoner the same way. Hmm. Okay. Details of the March. 24th through 27th test run are still being worked out, but they have received 832 applications. The volunteers must live locally be at least 18 years old,
Starting point is 01:16:17 and they have to be ready for the experience. I wonder if the experience... It can't be. You know what I'm saying? That can't happen. Because you're also not going to be with... Real criminals. Right.
Starting point is 01:16:30 Unless they mix them in secretly. No, no, no. Unless this is their way to lure some to just go ahead and get them in jail already. The temporary stand-ins won't have to pay or get paid to participate, but they will be treated like inmates. Testing food, intake procedures, walking the yard, sleeping, no cell phones, security clearance. They have to undergo checks. What? You don't get paid?
Starting point is 01:16:55 It's volunteer. Strip searches upon entry. Yeah, no, the intake process. Do you want to be a prisoner, yes or no? I would do it minus intake. What's that? I'm scared of them like searching places. Well, that's part of it.
Starting point is 01:17:08 On my body. Well, then you can't be a prisoner. Okay, well, I guess I'm out. You know, it's also, you know, there are people who do these experiments, you know, social experiments where they're like, I'm going to go out and be homeless for a couple of days. But the thing is, even with this, you know it's going to be over in two days. So your mind is completely different. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:17:27 If you go spend a couple days in this prison, you're like, I'm going to go feel what it's like to be a prisoner. Yeah. Even if you were in a real jail with real prisoners, you know you're getting out in 48 hours. Yeah, the fear isn't there. So it's not quite the same. Yeah. But it would be fun to Airbnb be in old jail. No.
Starting point is 01:17:44 Like with all your friends? Yeah, and if there wasn't intake. No strip searches. Yeah, when we play games, like, who can keep starting the biggest thing? No. You did a fun game. Stop. But then you get locked up or what?
Starting point is 01:17:58 Well, you don't lock yourself in, but you just stay in the jail. Some of the Airbnbs, like an old baseball stadium, they'll do that. Minor League clubs will do it. Some famous. Old houses from TV shows, but just like a jail. Airbnb Alcatraz, that'd be cool. You play games and Lerner gets locked in the cell for the night. No, Alcatraz seems scary.
Starting point is 01:18:18 It would be a night. Alcatraz is wild. You ever seen it? Yeah, I've seen it. I've seen it. I've never been there, but I've seen it. Oh, I did the tour with the headset and everything. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 01:18:27 It's an amazing tour. The audio is actual guards and people that worked at Alcatraz. So the people narrating as you're walking through and doing the tour, they're real people from Alcatraz. Do you think the people that escaped or made it? Yeah. You do? It isn't that far.
Starting point is 01:18:46 But the tide. I get it. You were just there, right? We filmed an episode of Breaking Bobby Bones, which watch on Disney Plus. We got in a boat, went out in the ocean to go fishing. But we had to go right by it. It's awesome. But yes, I think if you're a great swimmer and you're pretty athletic, you could have made it.
Starting point is 01:19:02 I think they were just prisoners, man. Yeah, but some of those are going to go. guys are pretty athletic, though. Some of those guys are pretty athletic. Let's go, let's see. How about Leah in North Carolina, who is on the phone right now? Leah, what's going on? Hello, good morning. Good morning. Hi, I just wanted to call in and let you guys know that you make my day so much better. I have such a long commute to work every single morning. And you, Bobby and Amy and lunchbox, y'all just keep me rolling on the floor laughing. I just couldn't make it.
Starting point is 01:19:36 I don't think without you guys, and I just wanted to let you know. Well, we appreciate that. Thanks for spending your morning, and hopefully we feel like we're your friends in the car. You know, that's our goal on this show is that you feel like we are your companions as you make a drive that you probably don't want to do.
Starting point is 01:19:51 Yes, yes, right, absolutely. Y'all keep doing what y'all are doing. Y'all are awesome. Thanks. Have a good weekend. You too. All right, bye-bye. Jimmy in Nashville.
Starting point is 01:20:00 Let's go over. What's up, Jimmy? Hey, good morning, guys. Morning. I just wanted to send a shout out to you, Bobby, for what you're doing for Abby. I think that's great. You're taking her to the festival. You guys inspire me every morning on my commute to work, so I appreciate you and add love to you and Abby.
Starting point is 01:20:21 Can't make it to the festival. Please record it and play part of it on the show. You got it, man. We will. Earlier on the show, I invited Abby, our phone screener, who performs professionally as Abby. Lee Anderson to come and perform at Strawberry Festival with Eddie and I The Raging Idiots. We're headlining. And so
Starting point is 01:20:41 she's going to come, sing the National Anthem perform with the band. Amazing. Thousands of people there. I looked at the chart a minute ago. Her version of the National Anthem is at number 79 right now. What? 79. Wow. Abby, you're at number 79 on the chart. Dang. Climbing. No way.
Starting point is 01:20:59 That's awesome. Yeah, what you think about that? I can't believe it. So, if you're near Tampa come out, March 12th, I believe. Is that date, right, right? Yeah. Yeah. Raging Idiots.com. Abby, nervous or just excited? A little nervous, but excited.
Starting point is 01:21:15 It's going to be great. Yeah. You're going to kill it. I was looking at how many people attend this festival, and there's, like, a lot. There's a lot. I'm like, oh, shoot. I mean, crazier than you performing is that we are headlining. That is pretty crazy.
Starting point is 01:21:30 That's pretty crazy. Let's be honest. That's cool. All right, Abby, you're awesome. Thank you. We'll talk to you next week. We'll see where the song charts. Yeah, I'm excited.
Starting point is 01:21:39 Who knows? She may get a record deal from this. Hey, that'd be amazing. I'll bet you doesn't. All right, thank you guys. Hit us up if you'd like. 877-77 Bobby. Bobby Boneshow.
Starting point is 01:21:50 Bonehead. Story of the day. This story comes to us from St. Paul, Minnesota. A student at a local college got called out at the half-time of a game. Come down to the court. Shoot a half-court. shot. Blindfolded, win a big prize. Here's the shot. Blindfolded makes it.
Starting point is 01:22:10 Wins a hat. A hat? A hat. A hat? A hat. A hat? I mean, if you make it without the blindfold, you should at least get like 500 bucks. Yeah, here's the hat. What did the hat say? Walk to the back and collect your $10,000 prize? No. St. Thomas basketball. Did they know they were just competing for a hat? No. They said, come win a big prize. They didn't think he won't make it. Yeah, probably not. That's straight line to them.
Starting point is 01:22:37 Yeah. A big prize. Let me get this straight. H-A-T. H-A-T. And they were blindfolded when they hit the shot. Surely something's going to come up this where they get a little more. Like a scholarship?
Starting point is 01:22:51 Like a free ride? Maybe. Maybe not for four years. Yeah. Maybe a book. Some books. But yeah. That's crazy.
Starting point is 01:22:57 I'm Lunchbox. That's your bonehead story of the day. Here's a voicemail we got last night. Hey, Bobby. I'm about to go get me another. tattoo. The tattoo artist quoted between 4 to 600 and I was wondering about how much should I tip for one that costs that much?
Starting point is 01:23:15 Let me know what you think. It's a pretty expensive tattoo. I think. I mean I've only have small ones and none of mine cost that much. He must be getting something a little more detailed. Full body or old English. Oh yes. I would say and I don't know the rules of the tattoo artist I would say 50 bucks if it's 400 bucks I don't think it's a 20% rule. Oh it's not? I don't know if it wants to For me, I probably tip 50, 60 bucks, if that were the case. But that's why Mike D's our fact checker.
Starting point is 01:23:40 Mike, what's a tattoo tip rule? It's hard to say. Is it 20%? Wow. Okay. Well, then according to Ms. Manners, you need to, who knew? I learned something here. So if it's 400 bucks, that's an $80 tip.
Starting point is 01:23:55 Ooh. That's a lot, right? But it's also a lot of tattoo. Yeah. And you want it done right. Right? So just make sure you let him know you're going to be tipping Does that take like two days, three days tattoo?
Starting point is 01:24:10 We don't know. Boy, for that money, I would think you have to go back a couple times. So when do you tip at the very end or like a little bit? That's what I'm saying. At the end. You put money on the table and every time he messes up, you take a dollar back. You messes up, oops. At the end.
Starting point is 01:24:23 Okay. Yeah, at the end. Or whenever you pay for it. Yeah, which you pay at the end. I've always paid at the end. Yeah. Again, ours are so small. And we know our guys.
Starting point is 01:24:35 We're a little and dainty. Yeah. I got a little dainty tattoos. Yeah. Okay, so we learned something together. 20% to the tattoo artist. Thank you for that. Leave us a voicemail anytime over the weekend.
