Starting point is 00:02:51 The Bobby Bones Post-Show Pre-show. A man who married a sex doll admitted he cheated on her while she was being repaired. Oh, what a jerk. So dumb. It's wrong with people, man. Why wave me off? I don't know. I don't have any words for that.
Starting point is 00:03:08 It's not right. I don't understand. Bodybuilder married a sex doll named Margot at a ceremony last year. He claimed it all broke days before Christmas and needed to be repaired. He also admitted a cheating on Margo while she was getting repaired. He cheated on her with another doll. Who's he admitting this to? Us?
Starting point is 00:03:23 Anyone that will listen, I guess. A follower of his on Instagram. Gotcha. Replied, are you cheating on your wife? He said, maybe. I can't stand while she's in the hospital. Dozens of guests attended his wedding to the sex doll, which had been delayed for months because of coronavirus.
Starting point is 00:03:37 Obviously, you want to get all your friends together. Of course. Like, what's that group of friends up to? Exactly, right? It can't be healthy. Whatever that group of friends, whatever their common bond is, I'm going to assume isn't extremely healthy.
Starting point is 00:03:49 Is this a thing? We're just years and years and years from now. This is going to be normal? I don't know that it would be normal, but listen, the movie, Her, it wasn't about a sex doll, but it was about a guy in an operating system. And do you know how Instagram or Facebook creates, even news is made for us? Like the news that I'm seeing on my phone and the internet is not the same news you're saying. Oh, customized for us, yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:13 It's all curated by basically artificial intelligence or an algorithm set by a company. Right. So what's normal, what's what you is just normal right down the middle news, is not. It's the news that you want to see that you think is right down the middle. So people on the far left or far right are getting their news and going, well, this is normal and everybody else is crazy when they're just getting what they want to get. Same thing with this operating system in the show was they built these operating systems to give you what you needed.
Starting point is 00:04:43 Correct. Mentally, emotionally, at one point physically in the movie. Which a human is made to be that. But aren't we just trying to feel a certain way in? life. Yes. Like beloved and accepted. And if something's giving that to humans, I think it will be more common that these systems
Starting point is 00:05:05 that are meant for that they will be existent. Yes, but we have to be careful because we are not made to get. We should be careful with what Instagram's doing. Well, I get it. I get it. Don't hit me with to be careful now. We're not supposed to get what we want all the time. Can you imagine if we got what we want it all the time?
Starting point is 00:05:22 What do you think the internet is? What? It's everything we want. one second. What do you think the delivery hit? Right, but whenever that computer shuts down, you're just like, oh, it broke it. Like, that's good for us to like snap you back in that reality of like, hey, you're not going to get what you want all the time. So work at it.
Starting point is 00:05:37 You build your whole career and saying completely something different. You're going, we should do this, but everything you want is right at your fingertips all the time. I think it's just recognizing what Bobby's saying and being aware that that's happening to you. So like once, maybe someone's just hearing that for the first time, huh, my news is catered just to me on Facebook. Just you. Like that's something you hear Bobby saying that. Think about it. And then you can find ways to diversify what you're receiving.
Starting point is 00:06:03 And that way it's not so black and white. I do. Which is dangerous. But I think you're being hypocritical, Eddie, in that going, oh, we should do this. But you also have everything right of your fingertips. And you're using it all the time. But you're talking about technology. I'm talking about a relationship.
Starting point is 00:06:18 How many times have you said that Caitlin has brought so many different outlooks on life that you never had? Your AI would be like, you're so right, Bobby. The same argument could be, unless I didn't need that, unless I needed AI to actually push back. But what I'm saying is five years ago, the same argument was used for online dating. The same exact argument. Why can't you just get out and meet someone in person? Well, there are reasons you can't. And now it's normalized just because it's existed longer and has existed more effectively.
Starting point is 00:06:44 So the same exact argument could have been, we're on apps. You're meeting people through a computer? That ain't real. It used to be newspaper ads. My only point is you're being a hypocrite and you're a loser. Thank you. So how did that movie end without spoiling it?
Starting point is 00:07:00 No, not going to tell you. Okay. They get married? I love the movie and I only need to watch it once. There are certain movies that you love so much because the way it made you feel. And it didn't make me feel loved by an AI or anything. But I just thought, well, what an interesting concept.
Starting point is 00:07:11 And for sure, that's where people are going. Oh, it's crazy. Which is why I had the original question about Will a story like that one day be kind of normal? of like, oh, my wife, which is a doll, is in the hospital, and I have these other dolls. In a way, Bobby's saying yes. I think it'll be a bit more normal.
Starting point is 00:07:31 I think this guy probably just wants to bang a doll. Sure. I think if they create these things, it's a sex doll, though. Okay. But I think if they create these things, then people feel they can get multi-layered from them. And our goal is just feel love and acceptance and to be a part of something
Starting point is 00:07:48 that I think more people that can't find it in that, that way we'll find it in other ways. Oh, for sure. That's what people do with drugs and alcohol and all the things. Exactly. Yeah. Also, on your iPhone, you know how you have the news on the, like the top stories? I've showed mine here. And you're like, wow, these are the top. It's all toward you. It's all toward the crap that you're clicking. You have interest in so it knows. Let me send them more that. They like it. So they'll click it. It's why I got that Sharna Brian Austin Green news, right? Front and Center for me. Let me see. Yeah. I would. It would be one day it'd be fun to compare.
Starting point is 00:08:23 What, okay, I'll do that. Okay. Pull up your top stories tab right here. Yep. Just swipe it. Mm-hmm. I'm there. Okay, I have four on mine.
Starting point is 00:08:33 What are you, how many do you have on yours? Okay, four. Oh, that's not the same thing. Oh, give me your phone. Show me. Show me, show me. Show me, show me. What are you doing?
Starting point is 00:08:41 Just swipe to the left. Gotcha. Okay. Read me your number one. How set to give Pence ultimatum before moving to impeach Trump. I have the same one there. Trump administration expected to, to change course on vaccine.
Starting point is 00:08:53 Okay, good. Probably because we're sitting right next to each other. Now, go ahead. Three? Five careers that command over $100 grand a year. Interesting, not mine. Mine is, so, about those peltz. Oh, mine's after that.
Starting point is 00:09:04 Do you have that one? Yeah. Do you have capital police officers suspended for actions during attack? Yeah, later. I have an investing in stock market bubble one before that. Do you have any entertainment stuff? Nah, not yet.
Starting point is 00:09:15 Eddie, what do you have over there? I have a weird one. It's five careers that command 100,000 per year. Oh, that's what Amy has. Okay, and then sew about those pelts. Oh, you have that one too? Good. Yeah. Do you have Sheldon Adelson, a giant, the casino resort industry, dies at 87?
Starting point is 00:09:29 No. No. Do you have the queen is busy planning our public return and hearing and Megan are a part of it? That's no. No. Okay. All right. There you go. Inside the viral TikTok that led to murder charges.
Starting point is 00:09:42 Ooh, dumb off. Sometimes I'll screenshot a headline. Oh, that's in my conversation starters. Cool. Let's see, hold on. But even, you know what I try to. to do as a goal of mine is when I watch the news if I'm watching them for a long time I flip over and just to see what everybody else is saying not because I agree with it because I just want to make
Starting point is 00:10:02 sure that I know what everybody's getting that's good you have to you know no one like a lot of people don't do that oh no they don't they don't and I talk to them some I mean and I I get it I think I even learned that from Bobby years ago of like making sure I feel like I stayed in a very tight lane because that was all that was around me. So I thought that was the norm. And then when you kind of flip around, and then you can make your own decision based on all the different things
Starting point is 00:10:31 that you're hearing and seeing. And it's important to do that. It's actually, I think, irresponsible to just watch one network and only that network. Because they're a money-made, they're a business too. They're selling to get ratings, to sell commercials. Because even I don't know,
Starting point is 00:10:48 I just feel like I could be wrong, but some of those people, even on certain networks, say what they need to say because that's what needs to be said on the network. And they take off their microphone at the end of day. They're like, oh, I can't believe I just said that. But they got paid. I have a friend that works in news at a network that starts with F. And he goes, you know what?
Starting point is 00:11:09 I'll be honest with you, our anchor. I don't believe a lot of stuff he says, but it's kind of what we're supposed to do. Maybe anchor isn't the word their person. I don't know. You know, but you're right. I think they all do that a bit. But again, to be fair, I don't come on this show and talk about sports a lot.
Starting point is 00:11:24 I love sports. And I think, you know, maybe it's not the same in saying something you don't believe. It's not the same with lying about what you believe than omitting it. Because I, again, there are certain things on this show I just don't talk about even though I'd love to because I think our listeners don't want to hear it. Right. Like, I don't come on, do it. Yeah, knowing your audience. Not saying something is different than saying something that not meaning it.
Starting point is 00:11:47 Some would say. Regardless, do you want to move? some cities will pay you $10,000 to relocate. Oh, yeah. Wow. Where? Northwest Arkansas launched a program. Other cities have similar incentives.
Starting point is 00:11:58 Topeka, Kansas, North Platt, Nebraska, Hamilton, Ohio, and Newton, Iowa. Tulsa, Oklahoma, too. They're giving people money to go live there. If I were 21, 22, and 10,000 dollars, are you kidding? Yeah. Yeah. Sign me up. You guys see yourself living in the country, like later in life, like, away from the city?
Starting point is 00:12:16 Yes. Yeah, me too. I've already kind of started that. Like my own spot now? Oh, okay. I'm at home right now. You look around. Right.
Starting point is 00:12:26 I know. I get that. I was thinking more, you know. I don't want to have to drive into work every day if that's the case. Right. Now that's why I mean later, later in life. If I was. Like Montana.
Starting point is 00:12:38 Oh. Like yellow. That's where I want to go. That's what you're saying, Amy. In the middle of nowhere. Wow. No. I was thinking like Georgetown, Franklin.
Starting point is 00:12:48 Okay. A couple of acres. I'm like in middle of nowhere. Kind of like the way you always say, you know, when you got to go to the store, they call it town. That's like where I want to be later. Or like underground. Oh, what? Boy, Amy, you went dark.
Starting point is 00:13:01 I'm just kidding. The bunker. I don't know. Let me play a couple voicemails here. Here is voicemail number. Ray, play voicemail number two from last night, please. Hi, Motti. My husband always follows your Instagram to watch your best.
Starting point is 00:13:13 So we were just curious who you think is going to win the Super Bowl and go bills. All right. Thanks, guys. Bye. There you go. I'll say last night, I think my betting, I bet sports betting for fun. And mostly because I've just been at home so much during the pandemic and during the holiday. And I've been on. You're on fire right now. But it always ends, right? If there's one thing I know, it doesn't last forever. I did hit again last night like crazy. Two bets. Hard. Good ones.
Starting point is 00:13:44 Yeah. And so, and I posted them online. So I think next week I start with a company A little bit that are coming on to be a big sponsor of the show Because I've been betting and posting them And they're like, dang, we should get with you So we're going to do that starting next week I don't bet who I think, especially for long term Because I would have, if you're just picking
Starting point is 00:14:04 You probably pick the Chiefs of the Packers Because of the best two teams playing wonderfully right now But I didn't bet them I bet both weeks ago The Saints and Tampa Bay to win because they had good odds and I felt like they both had a shot to win. So it's like I didn't bet Alabama
Starting point is 00:14:19 at the beginning of the college football season because they had no odds. You're going to put a bunch up and you're probably not going to win that much back. So don't ask me. I mean, you're hot right now. Of course, that's what people are asking me. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:14:30 And I'm going to spoil it for everybody. I already know. I want them to watch the games. Have fun. You don't know. Yeah, I do. Let's do voice about three. Hello.
Starting point is 00:14:41 I was just wondering if there was an update on Bobby shoulder injury from in his first episode of Dancing with the Stars does your shoulder still hurt? Does it, does it better? Just curious, thanks, love to show. It sucks.
Starting point is 00:14:56 It still hurts. When it's cold, it sucks. When I do, Kayla and I do these workouts together, we do these little shoulder workouts with lightweights. Half of the stuff I have to do modify because my shoulder's still hurting. Unless I have surgery on it isn't going to be fixed, but it's not going to get worse.
Starting point is 00:15:10 And I just, I'm okay with the pain. I don't want to go lay up for surgery. I can't do it right now. Yeah. So, yeah, it's still, it hurt. I fell on the very first episode. We all saw it. And tore the top part of my shoulder.
Starting point is 00:15:21 And I just kept getting shots every week to numb it and to fight through it. That's crazy. And it still hurts. And it still hurts. But when it gets cold, like it's winter now, any injury I've had, like I cracked a couple ribs playing football in high school, broke a couple fingers playing football high school. They still hurt. Isn't that so weird? My shoulder hurts.
Starting point is 00:15:38 Things all, it still hurts. Let's do one more. This is voicemail number four. February third was my wedding. Our wedding planner was from, she didn't do what we asked her to do. She left her in the ceremony. Half of the things she was going to make, she just wrote with permanent sharpie on paper and stuck it in a frame.
Starting point is 00:16:01 And we were going to be her first reference for her new business. So should I be a reference for her? Or should I talk to her about all the problems she created for us? Anyway, thank you for help. I don't think you should direct other people to her if she did not do a good job for you. I don't think you should get on her Yelp and be like, she sucks. But it's like when someone calls me and they're like, hey, we give a recommendation to this person that used to work for you. If they were not a good worker, I say, hey, I can't give a recommendation either way. I'm not going to
Starting point is 00:16:35 smash somebody, but I definitely don't lie. If they've been great, I go, yeah, great. I think if you want to have a talk with her, have it, but I would not recommend her to someone else because that's their money they have to spend if you didn't feel like she did an adequate enough job you can have that conversation with her if you want amy what do you think about that yeah i think it's an opportunity for you to say hey yeah i'm actually not going to be a reference and here's why and i'm telling you this not to slam you but maybe so if you do want to grow this business these are things you could do differently and good luck don't we need those brutally honest yelp reviews though no no no we don't well i guess i guess you it depends. I just, Yelp, I do depend on it. But also, it can be so harmful to someone's
Starting point is 00:17:23 business if it's not really, if they're working on it, if it's not honest. I depend so much on it. Like if I'm buying a product, I read all the Yelp or the reviews on it. And then if really, there are a lot that say like this broke in two days and this did this, I won't get it. And I think that's really helpful. Right. Yeah. I guess it would matter to me what kind of anti-endorsement it was. Yeah. If someone was like, the waiter was stupid and he said things in a different accent and I'd be like, that's a you problem.
Starting point is 00:17:55 If, hey, we bought this TV and it clunked out after two days and I looked through and there were like four or five of those, I think that would affect me than some sort of personal bias that you might already have. And some people just want to be heard on social media or Yelp and they're going to make a statement just so they can have, get their bit of clout, even in that one small world. Yeah. Tricky situation.
Starting point is 00:18:16 But it's weird that you'd want something to tip of your fingers like advice. Here we go. No, I'm just saying. Here we go. It exists. I didn't create it. Are you a giver or taker on Yelp? I'm a taker.
Starting point is 00:18:26 I don't give. Yeah. Me either. And I look at Yelp. Me too. Most Yelps for Yelphal. Yeah. I'm so thankful for people that take the time to do that.
Starting point is 00:18:35 But I more so appreciate the positive reviews. But I guess if it's a product that broke, yeah, I do want to know that. But in this case, she's just starting out her business. Maybe she needs to grow, and you have an opportunity to help her do that and not slam her. That's true. All right, I think that's it. The drama I had this morning, oh, I have to say two things. One, working from my home studio.
Starting point is 00:19:00 And the reason is I'm just trying not to leave my little space that often because of coronavirus. It is just blowing up. And I was reading Facebook and the B-Team page and they're like, why are they keeping it a secret? I'm like, we have cameras that show exactly where we are. No secret. Hello. There's even a wide one where you can see the whole thing. Hello.
Starting point is 00:19:17 Look at us. Thumbs up in the air. So there's no secret. I just don't think it's the most compelling content. And trust me, I don't always pick right. But to go, hey everybody. Today, we're to my house. Cool, cool.
Starting point is 00:19:30 I just don't think we just do the show. I do the show all over the country all the time. It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. So what I wrote on the page was, if we wanted to be secret, we just shut everything down. You wouldn't see anything. But there are times where we do interviews on a different day.
Starting point is 00:19:43 because, for example, they can't come in on a Friday, I'd like to have them in. I'd like to get them on the air. So we have to do it on a Tuesday, and that's the reason we wear the same clothes sometimes, different clothes. So we try to be transparent
Starting point is 00:19:54 and that you can always see. I mean, honestly, we tried to sometimes do the clothing thing and change it all, and that was exhausting. It was too much. So it was like, you know what? This is, if anything,
Starting point is 00:20:06 it just gives you a little more behind the scenes of how people get stuff done. Yeah, we don't want to hide it. Right. So that was yesterday. And then this morning, at whatever butt crack time we wake up, I was trying to get out of my house and my home alarm, I couldn't shut it off.
Starting point is 00:20:21 Not that it was going off, but I couldn't turn it off to open the doors. I put it out, I put on my codes. I went and it just wouldn't go off. Was that just like a brain fart? No, the system, something was happening. It wouldn't let me out. That's scary. Why do we say, I don't, why do we say that?
Starting point is 00:20:37 I thought about not saying it, but then I was like, I'd have no other word for that. Because I thought you didn't know the code or something. That happens to me all the time. I knew all that. Put the coat in, wouldn't shut off. And I was like, am I trapped here forever?
Starting point is 00:20:48 That's your thing. That's how you go. Okay, that's it. I hope you guys enjoyed the post show. Enjoy today's. Is that what that was? I know what I were doing. Enjoy today's radio.
Starting point is 00:20:56 You just talk. Yeah. That's when you know you got a good job. You just show up and talk. You don't know what else about it. All right. Thank you guys. Enjoy today's show.

Starting point is 00:24:51 What's happening, everybody? Morning studio. Morning. Yesterday on the show was talking about how I found out my name is an old man's name. And I, it hasn't sat with me very well. I always thought Bobby's like young kid.
Starting point is 00:25:03 Like Bobby, not Bob or Robert, but apparently it became popular in the 30s. We have Bobby on now in Texas. Hey, Bobby in Texas, how are you this morning? I'm good, buddy. How are you? I'm really good. You heard me talking about the name Bobby.
Starting point is 00:25:18 How old are you, by the way? I did. Seventh. Okay. And do you feel like at 57 Bobby was an old man name even when you were a kid? No, no, no. My legal name is Robert. I don't know if yours is or not.
Starting point is 00:25:34 It is not. My legal name is Robert. My father, I'm a junior. I was named after my father. I've been Bobby since I was born. My grandmother, I was, I was, I was Bobby since I've been born But don't call me Bob
Starting point is 00:25:52 Bob makes me feel old Bobby does not make me feel old whatsoever Thank you I feel the same way Nobody calls me Bob Nobody will ever call me Bob My grandfather was named Bob But I just have been living in a state of shock
Starting point is 00:26:05 That Bobby's an old man's name And then when we started looking it up on the show And all the people that were named Bobby 90% of them are old men Are old people So I appreciate that call Thank you very much Not necessarily, though.
Starting point is 00:26:17 I think it just depends on how we take it. I don't feel old. I can tell you that. I do not feel old. And I'm older than you. Well, I appreciate that call. Some mornings I wake up, I feel pretty old. But thank you, Bobby.
Starting point is 00:26:31 Have a good day. Tonight's one of the big lotteries. Lunchbox, which lottery is tonight? Tonight would be the mega millions. And you're in on this one. Oh, yeah, it's like $600 million or something like that. And let me tell you, this is the night I want. to win. Like these past few where it's like 300 million and 450 million, not a big deal.
Starting point is 00:26:49 600 million, sign me up. So what's tomorrow night? It's the power ball and it'll be 560 million. So are you in both of these? In both of them? Absolutely. Listen, and when they get this big, you got to start increasing your input into the lottery so you can win. So how much are you in altogether both nights combined? 250. Wow. You do an extra 50 in there. Yeah, once they go over 500 million, you got to bump it up, 25 each. Okay, so true or false, people who win big lottery prizes get really screwed up and are often worse off. False. True or false?
Starting point is 00:27:26 False. False. True. True, man. I've seen it happen. Yeah. On my horrible life after I won the lottery or whatever that show is called. What do you mean you've seen it happen?
Starting point is 00:27:37 No, growing up, I had a friend of mine whose dad won the lottery, a California lottery, and the whole family was screwed up. one of them committed suicide. My friend ended up being like a bad, bad dude. Like the dad like left the family. It was a bad deal. And that was just a lottery. I mean, that's when it changed. I don't know what they would have done without that money or how they would have been. But soon as they hit that lottery, things changed quick. Gosh, that's terrible. I'll take that chance. People often say money and power turn you into more of who you really are. Like if you get more money, you have the ability to be more of who you really are anyway because you have that freedom and you see people that will just say good and bad, even though there's, I don't think there's,
Starting point is 00:28:17 this defines that, but like really good people turn into better people. Really bad people, turn into worse people with both money and power. But I bring this story up because I looked it up for today. Psychologists said, and they met with over 3,000 lottery winners that when asked about their mental health, happiness, and life satisfaction. Most winners had greater life satisfaction and more happiness. Oh! Yeah, you guys have been spouting off bad knowledge all these years. Come on now, let's go!
Starting point is 00:28:49 They also had better relationships and self-purpose in life. Sure, they may lose some of the money, but overall, they're way better off. Okay. I mean, I guess I could be wrong. I think it just depends on, yeah, how you handle it. And if you were to win tonight, lunchbox. Yeah. Let's say you have the tickets, right?
Starting point is 00:29:08 They're paper tickets. They're paper tickets. Yeah, they print them out. Zz-ZZZZZZZZZ. If you win tonight and it comes across at 10 p.m. Yeah. At 10.05 p.m., what are you doing? Getting a U-Haul?
Starting point is 00:29:22 No, actually, we want to get a U-Haul. No, we're going to an island. I'm telling you. We're going to an island. Like, I mean, me and the wife are celebrating in the living room because the kids will be asleep. Probably wake them up because who cares, don't have to work in the morning. and we can sleep all day if we want. But yeah, we're partying in the living room.
Starting point is 00:29:38 We're probably popping some champagne. Oh, it's going to be incredible. So you just walk away from all responsibilities like this job, which... Amy, you will never hear from me again. I don't even need to quit on air. I will just not show up. Okay. But contractually, he doesn't have an obligation if you retire.
Starting point is 00:29:58 Oh, okay. You just, yeah. And then you... It couldn't get another job. Because of non-compete. just because of a contract. He couldn't have another job. But he could retire. But he's not working, so it's all good. Yeah, he's not. Who needs another job when you got $600 million?
Starting point is 00:30:13 Ha ha! Not this guy. My job is to get a suntan on that island. And do you feel like you really could win tonight? I really do. I really do believe tonight could be my night. I hope you get that. I mean, he's wanted this so badly for years. I hope you get it. What if you hit five numbers and not the Powerball and you win like a few hundred thousand. I mean, that's great. I'll probably take a couple weeks off, but I mean, I can't quit forever. Oh, I wonder if he'll come in. So does he stay up all night too, or is that just kind of like only for the million one? But you don't just get time off for winning a little money.
Starting point is 00:30:48 He already claimed it, though. No, no, no. Go ahead. Yeah. If I decide, you know, I need some personal days to, you know, celebrate, then I can get those personal days. Okay. I don't know that's how it works, but good luck. I hope you win tonight. Oh, man. That would be so awesome. I mean, I know the show would go down, but I mean, I'm not worried about you guys anymore after that. I can't carry you the rest of my life. I'll be out. I appreciate that. Here's some things they say you can clean and sanitize in your dishwasher.
Starting point is 00:31:17 Ooh. Where all it takes is you put it in there and hitting it up. Number one, kids' toys. I imagine most kids' toys don't get cleaned. Nope. You know what I did that was disgusting? So I have this weird shower. We moved into this house that we live into now.
Starting point is 00:31:33 I love the house. But the guy who owned it before us was kind of a weirdo. And he's got some stuff still in the house that we haven't pulled down yet. That's weird. There's some triangles in the house. You know what I'm talking about? Definitely weird. It's weird.
Starting point is 00:31:43 And I just haven't got there yet. But these showers that are in there are like spaceships. And you're like, what? It has all these little contraptions. It's too much. I just like a normal shower. It looks like the future, but also like the 80s. It's a weird vibe.
Starting point is 00:31:58 It's weird. And so I've never taken a bath in this weird shell. shower, but it apparently allows it and it's got little jets in it too. Like a jacuzzi tub. Yeah, or something. From Three's company. Yeah. So I get into it and never turn it on as far as the bathtub part of it.
Starting point is 00:32:19 And because I had those crazy headaches, I thought, let me just take a bath. I liked it. Hadn taken one a long time and take a bath. I'd run my bath. I draw my bath. And I get in and I decide, you know what? I'm going to turn on one of those jets. Well, the jets weren't fully.
Starting point is 00:32:34 underwater yet, only partially. And so I hit the jet and I hadn't turned them on in months and it blew black crap all over me. It went. I'm talking about dirt, mud, it just covered my face. Oh, it's disgusting.
Starting point is 00:32:48 I'm sitting in a ton and I look down with the water and it was disgusting. And then there's a drain problem too, so it wouldn't drain. That's like your worst nightmare. I'm just sitting there going, just getting covered in filth while I'm taking a bath. It's disgusting.
Starting point is 00:33:04 So that the story reminded me of that. But you can clean your kids' toys. They say without soap, your toothbrushes. Oh. Like just run the hot water. Like put it in there, run the hot water. Nail clippers, hairbrushes, dog toys, which is interesting. Because my dog's toys.
Starting point is 00:33:21 Yeah, I didn't think about that. I will buy my dog really fun toys sometimes. I think he'll like this. You know what he likes? The box it comes in. More than the toy itself. And then he didn't even come about the box anymore. rubber boots and leashes and collars.
Starting point is 00:33:36 Oh yeah. And crocs and flip flops. Oh, that's genius. I never thought about that. So I would imagine you don't put soap with any of that, actually. You could probably just put it in and run the hot water. It's like a pressure wash on all that stuff. So that's pretty interesting.
Starting point is 00:33:51 The world's most expensive liquid sells for $39 million a gallon. What is it? Gold? Liquid gold? No, I wouldn't think gold will be that much. A gallon? Oh. That'd be some really rich people, just melt the non-bars of gold.
Starting point is 00:34:06 Well, no, I mean, you're just thinking little droplets of gold flakes, like flakes of gold. The most expensive liquid in the world will cost you 39 million per gallon. Death stalker scorpion venom. Whoa. Comes from one of the most dangerous species of scorpions. In order to obtain the venom, a person has to milk the death stalker manually. Some components of the venom have shown potential for treating brain tumors. Oh, well, okay.
Starting point is 00:34:30 But $39 million. per gallon. They have to milk the scorpion? Yeah, like little teet, teat. I don't know. Does it have teets? Yeah, it has to. Can you milk me, Greg? It can prove lethal to kids and the elderly and it's said to be about a hundred times more painful than a bee sting, and it's not easy to get your hands on. Oh my gosh. In order to obtain the precious mix of toxins, the person has to mix the death, has to milk the death stalker manually as automated solutions are only just starting to be developed. one component of the venom, the peptide chlorotoxin, has shown potential for treating human brain tumors,
Starting point is 00:35:06 while other components may be used to regulate insulin and treat diabetes. It's very valuable for the medical industry. That's crazy. 40 million bucks, basically, for a gallon of death stalker. And then sometimes I'm like, and someone learned this how, you know, that like something from that would then help. And then what also do we not know? Right. There's so much out there, yeah, that probably people are still learning.
Starting point is 00:35:26 I hit you with this finally. Would you work for a company that told you you have a limited bathroom brain? breaks. Yes. No, I mean, I know. You would not work for that company? That's what I mean. I answered incorrectly.
Starting point is 00:35:36 I would absolutely not be able to be put on a bathroom restriction. But what if it was a great paying job? Benefits were great, but there's a bathroom restriction. Okay, well, then I guess I'd cut back on water. There was a company enforcing a bizarre once a day toilet break policy and finding employees who break it with $3 each time. That's got to be illegal. According to notice is issued by the company and leaked on social media by
Starting point is 00:35:58 discontal employees, at least seven staff. members were penalized December 20th the 21st. The rule has sparked outrage online, but company officials explained management's decision to create this bizarre rule by saying that many employees were lazy and used toilet brakes to smoke and avoid their duties. Duh. Yeah, of course.
Starting point is 00:36:13 Of course. In school, how many times I actually go to the bathroom? Oh, that was... I just wanted to go walk down the hall. I know. Every class. As slowly as possible. Quote, we had to stop all the excess breaking. Could you
Starting point is 00:36:29 guys go to the bathroom once if you had an eight hour day? Like, I know Amy can't because she goes like three times while we do this show. Yeah, I don't go at all hardly during the show. Oh. I mean, think about how many times I actually leave the studio. You have to do probably a bathroom break once. Sometimes you do. The whole time we're
Starting point is 00:36:45 here. Sometimes I do the whole time we're here. That's one. That's your one, Bones. You know what? If I'm going to get paid more, fine. You'd hold it? I'll handle my business. There's some people that can't hold it, though. That's like they got bladder problem. That's me, though. Okay. And I also where it depends. That's what they're going to start doing. That's what they're going to have to do is wear diapers.
Starting point is 00:37:04 I did have a friend that would go to races, like NASCAR races and Bristol. They were a driver? He lives in East. No, no, he would go on watch. And he would wear a diaper in case he didn't want to leave because the race doesn't stop.
Starting point is 00:37:17 As a spectator? Yes, and if he had to pee. No, he didn't. Yes, he did. I've heard of people doing this before anyway, going to concerts. But my friend would do it at rate. What?
Starting point is 00:37:26 Why are you saying that casually? Like, what? He wanted to see the whole race. My friend is a huge race fan. He wouldn't hit the deuce. But if he had to pee... Yeah, I'm calling no deuce. But if he had to pee, he would just pee in the diaper if he was at the race and didn't want to leave.
Starting point is 00:37:42 I'm speechless. Are you? Yeah, because you've never even shared that you know of people that do that at concerts. I don't know anybody about those at concerts. I've heard about people. You've just heard of it happening? But I know of a friend who would wear a diaper to Bristol specifically. Okay, so here's a question for you.
Starting point is 00:37:59 What would you be willing? What would you wear a diaper for? Something you just can't miss a second of. You want to know my answer? Nothing. Yeah, me too, because anything that I love, love, they, like, if I'm going to go watch Arkansas sports, they have timeouts.
Starting point is 00:38:15 Yeah. Right. And halftime. And not to, I do feel, I want to acknowledge the privilege that we have that we don't have to, because I know there's adults that have to. Like my dad's in a place where now he has to, and he hates every second of it.
Starting point is 00:38:28 He'd come on here right now and tell you, and we'll have to wear a stupid diaper. But isn't it probably freeing, though, what you get past the stigma? That's what I said a little bit, Dad. I'm like, hey, you know, you just live your life. It's fine. So I also want to acknowledge that privilege.
Starting point is 00:38:43 They make mittens made for couples now. If it's too cold to hold hands. Oh, my gosh. They say, don't worry. There are now smittons, which let you and your sweetie share a mitten during these romantic walks in the cold weather. Each set of smittenes cost $35. It comes with a bunch of different colors.
Starting point is 00:38:59 the box comes with one oversized shareable mitten for you two and then two normal sized mittens for your non-holding hands. That's cute. The company sales have been great and they hope that everything restocked very soon because the holiday rush is causing it to be sold out. Yeah. It's a novel idea.
Starting point is 00:39:15 I like it. I don't know that you use it a whole lot. It's probably a fun, sweet gift. Yeah, and then skin to skin is warmer. So both of your hands in there touching together is going to keep your hands warmer. That's why if you're ever super duper cold, I think you're in your, maybe in a survival situation with somebody else.
Starting point is 00:39:32 You should strip down naked and get in the same sleeping bag. That's what I've heard. I'm going to try that. Do you guys, Eddie, I'll ask you, do you ever hold hands with your wife still? Yeah, we hold hands. It's not like for a long time. I would say there's like a one minute maximum. And then I kind of like, all right.
Starting point is 00:39:49 But what's the situation where you hold hands? Well, I mean, it can be anything. Sometimes it's just when we're watching TV. She like grabbed. It's always her initiated. Not me. I can go my whole life without holding hands. Like, really, it's just me. But she wants to hold hands, and then we do it for about a minute.
Starting point is 00:40:03 And then, like, all right. Or if we're walking from the car to a restaurant or something in the parking lot, I'll hold her hand, and then done. Have I told you guys the love language story? No, no. I don't know. I don't think so. Okay, so I've taken it.
Starting point is 00:40:16 It's been years to have taken that test. But Caitlin's like, let's take the love language test together and see what our love languages are receiving and giving, just so we can do it. And so she takes hers, and her, love language that she likes to get is physical touch and words of affirmation are her too. And then she's like, okay, take yours. And she watched me take it.
Starting point is 00:40:37 And she was like, oh, she was like commenting as I was hitting the button, which my answer. Am I number one getting and giving? Do you know what it is, Amy, getting a giving? I mean, your giving would be gifts. That's right. And then I feel like you're getting, might be acts of service. So gifts are both giving and getting. Okay.
Starting point is 00:41:01 And an active service is really close. But my last was touch. Yeah. I'm shocked by that. Really? Yeah. Oh, you mean last. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:41:09 Last place. Oh, okay. I thought you meant you're like as part of it. Okay, yeah, that makes sense. Well, I think she took a little, she was like, you don't like to touch me. I like, no, no, no, no. I just don't like touch anybody. I love to touch you.
Starting point is 00:41:22 If I'm going to touch anybody, I want to touch you. You're talking about Caitlin. Right. Because you're looking at me. You don't want to be touched. Okay, but like... Just wanted to set that straight. Yeah, go ahead.
Starting point is 00:41:33 And that's the thing, too. You can't take offense to anything else that the other person may or may not. She wasn't taking offense. I think to her, she was just like, oh, no, no, no. Does that mean you don't like when I touch you? Or you don't like to touch it? And I was like, no, no, no, no, no, no.
Starting point is 00:41:46 I like all of these in love. But if you're asking what you're... Because they ask you generic questions. They don't say, do you want to touch Caitlin? The answer is yes on that. But I don't like... hugging unless with anybody. Her, not the same.
Starting point is 00:42:01 But I'm not a big hugger. I'm not a big toucher. But I think probably because I was never really hugged or touched as a kid. And I think that probably is now affecting how I accept and give love. But yeah, my last was to her top was touch. My last was touch. But it's good to know that stuff because I know that words of affirmation are important to her. So normally I'm not a big words of affirmation giver unless I really, really
Starting point is 00:42:26 feel it, but I know that so I can actually be intentional. Right. And with touch, too. But she likes to be, like, have her back rubbed and scratched and I don't. It's not about her. I just, I don't like to be touched. But I bring up the holding hand
Starting point is 00:42:43 thing, because we hold hands a lot. A lot? But again, we've been together for over a year. We're not married yet, we get married. So we should. Yeah, exactly. You're still on that stage. And I would do the mittens. I was wondering if you already ordered them. No, I didn't order them, but you know what we were given as a gift.
Starting point is 00:42:59 There are these bracelets, and we're never apart now, but these bracelets that you wear, I wear one, she wears one, and you push a button, and it makes the other one vibrate. So if you're not together, you can tell another person's thinking about you. Oh, I like that. That's really sweet. Have you used them? No, we're always together. That's true. You should wear it when you go to work.
Starting point is 00:43:17 Yeah, right now. I'm not a big jewelry guy. You don't like the way they look. I just don't really like to wear stuff. I'm wearing watches a little more now. Probably three, four days a week. But yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I thought that. Anyway, I wanted to bring up those mittens.

And it's late at night. And she's just like talking to the lady. And the lady says, yeah, we missed our curfew at the shelter. So now we're just going to, I guess, ride the bus for as long as we can until the morning time if they let us. And the lady's like, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. I'm going to get an extended stay for you guys, a hotel. You guys have this on me. So she rented a room out for them to stay for the night. Pretty cool.

Starting point is 00:45:23 butt dialed 9999. Yeah, and you could hear on the 911 call, the Operator said when the police arrived to arrest them, it was still going. That's funny. Wow. Yeah. Starting point is 00:49:25 But I don't have the cahones to be a thief. I would be scared the whole time. So he opened the door as the guy was walking up to his porch and he filmed it the entire time. So the thief drops the package, tries to make a quick escape in his compact car, but it's a very small car. It gets stuck in the snow. Here is the clip of him getting good.
Starting point is 00:49:50 busted and then trying to get away. You're done. You're done. Cops is coming. Cops is coming. Call police. Now. Look, Dan, your wheels are not spinning anywhere.
Starting point is 00:50:07 Did you call? You want me to get your shovel? I would be scared. First of all, this guy has to pull a gun on me in the car. Absolutely. I wouldn't be like, you're done. I wouldn't have the courage to even do that. And to be like, the cops are coming and be like,
Starting point is 00:50:17 hey, have you called yet? I mean, go ahead and have that lockdown before you say it. The man removes a little snobes. from underneath the front wheels, then spin some more, as you can hear, as he's trying to escape. They can't remember how to call the police. But there's just so many things that make me feel uncomfortable about that. I would record him and he would get it,
Starting point is 00:50:51 and I'd probably yell, but then run in the back of the house. You know? And they'd be like, I got you. But I wouldn't, I probably wouldn't even confront him. There's a guy who bought out an entire flight to travel privately. He bought all the tickets for the flight.
Starting point is 00:51:05 Do you remember when Vince Young, that was the big rumor, Vince Young was doing that? Yes, I do remember that. He's playing for the Titans. If you travel back to Texas and buy every seat on the Southwest flight. I didn't know that. Now, what's cheaper? That or just renting a private jet?
Starting point is 00:51:17 I guess it depends if you get a one of getaway price. You get the real cheap one? Yeah. The guy said he bought as many tickets as possible. for the flight and they were super paranoid about being exposed to COVID-19. Yeah, I don't know what the way in it is. Yeah, how is that cost effective instead of just getting private jet? Why would you do one?
Starting point is 00:51:38 Yeah, yeah. I don't even know what that is. Now revealing a big secret will be our audio producer, Raimundo. Ramundo? Yep, I've been keeping the secret for about a year now and I've specifically been keeping it from Bay. so I feel terrible about that, but I guess now's the time. Can I do it now and just tell her? By the way, Bay is Ray's wife.
Starting point is 00:52:01 They've been married for a couple of months now. Yeah, and we call her Bay because it rhymes with Ray. No other reason, yes. Ray Mundo, go ahead. Yeah, so one of the things that brings us together is at night, we'll watch TV together and we genuinely enjoy watching shows together. Well, it's probably been for about a year now. I've been keeping the secret, and we've been watching Southern Charming.
Starting point is 00:52:22 I just don't like that. the show anymore. It's absolutely terrible, but for easily 12 months, I'll sit down, watch it with her and laugh when I have to fake it. But I don't enjoy the show. I don't think it's funny anymore. I hate Southern Charm. Did you used to like Southern Charm? At one point, it was very entertaining. But how many times can you watch people that don't have real jobs, just drink and go to the beach and gossip? It gets old. And so I need to tell Bay. I'm sorry. I'm no longer in love with Southern Charm. Will you keep watching it, though?
Starting point is 00:52:58 Well, hopefully she hears this and understands and we stop DVR and it, and we can move on with our lives. What do you like to watch right now? We really enjoy below deck because it's a bunch of people cleaning a boat. It's a real person show, real stuff, and it's in a closed confined area
Starting point is 00:53:11 in the Pacific and the Caribbean, which is awesome. That, I would say, is our number one show that we watch, and right now sports. Does she like to watch sports with you or does she Southern Charm you and just watch with you? No, no, she, I run randomly as now into sports because the sports betting is legal in our state. So she'll put a little $5 bet on this, on that. Usually we'll go against each other on bets.
Starting point is 00:53:34 So for whatever reason, that, she loves watching the sports now. It does make it so much more entertaining when you put a few bucks on a game. You know? And if you have a problem, you know, I hope you call that number to get it checked out. But I love putting a few bucks on a game. My app keeps pulling up that number on me. Just like every time I log in, I'm like, I have a problem.
Starting point is 00:53:54 Is this a sign? Yeah. I was talking with Eddie this past weekend. Because now that's legal, I bet too. And Eddie and I will share what we're betting on, who we're betting it on. And he says, well, I got enough for one more bet than I'm out of money for the week. Yeah. He went through all his money that his wife gives him.
Starting point is 00:54:08 And the next day, he's like, hey, who'd you pick this today? And I said, funny, dude. I told you I'm out of money for the month. Aw. Well, I appreciate Ray's confession. I feel like he's giving a lot of people across the country courage to maybe own up to the that are, if they're watching something, they can't stand but they're doing it out of love. Maybe they can just say, hey, you know what, I don't like this anymore.
Starting point is 00:54:31 And you can get your time back. You know what I watch with Caitlin, but I don't hate, but I don't care about cooking shows. I don't cook. You heard my whole disaster cooking on yesterday's show. We watch Trisha's Southern Kitchen or Southern Cooking, TSC, T. Tishirwood. And I like Trisha. K. Kitchen starts with a K.
Starting point is 00:54:50 Cooking, C. Oh, I thought it was, okay, never mind. I don't know, maybe, but Okay. Maybe it's, Trisha's Southern Kitchen. Whatever it is. I like the stuff
Starting point is 00:54:58 that's not cooking with Trisha. They let the girls play. They were at a basketball gym. But I watch that, but I don't like cooking. I don't like the, oh, she knows. Yeah, she knows.
Starting point is 00:55:08 He's not keeping her. I'm talking about people that keep it. I don't like beat Bobby Flay. I don't, I can watch a little bit of the Pioneer Woman because she likes the Pioneer Woman a lot. And she's funny, yeah. There's a show that comes on after Pioneer Woman
Starting point is 00:55:20 where some woman in like Minnesota cooks. That's just terrible. She's, I don't know. Terrible cooking show. So I'll watch that, but she knows I'm not a big fan. But she watches that bunch of stuff with me, too. I'll just keep the news on 24-7. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:55:32 My wife and I started watching Manifest. Like, this is months ago, once ago. And then I finally had to do The Ray and tell her, like, I'm out. What is that? It's a TV show. It's not very good. I mean, she loves it, and she wanted to keep watching it every night. And finally I said, you know what?
Starting point is 00:55:45 I'm out. This is going to be your show, and I'm going to just tap out of this one. What Caitlin's show is right now is Bridgeton? Is that it's called? Yep. No, it stinks. And I'll... Yeah, I agree.
Starting point is 00:55:55 It's not good. She likes it. It's like 1800s or something, colonial, 1700s. I don't know. I don't either. But they're all in fancy clothes. Horsets and... Yeah.
Starting point is 00:56:05 You opt out of that one? I'll sit there beside her while it's on, but I always have something else going on. Okay. Yeah. You're watching another show on your phone? Richardson's 85% positive. Wow. Crazy.
Starting point is 00:56:16 What's wrong with me? Anybody start... Lunchbox? You watched Ted Lassow? Yeah, I started Ted Lassow with the wife. because Bobby said it was the best show 2020 and Amy loved it turned it on.
Starting point is 00:56:27 Man, it's a pretty darn good show. Like, it's funny and it's not what I expected at all. I had no idea because, like Eddie said, the preview or whatever, it doesn't really sell the show. You don't really know what it's about. It's pretty funny.
Starting point is 00:56:41 Anybody watching anything good? Because Ted Lassow's fantastic. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm almost done with Ted Lassow. Oh, yeah. Yeah, so that's what I've been investing my time on. Thumbs up? Episode 7.
Starting point is 00:56:48 Oh, dude, it's fantastic. Okay, good. It's a great show. You, anything? I don't know a show. but a movie. Watch safety on Disney Plus. Oh, what did you think about that?
Starting point is 00:56:55 Wait, what is that? Ray Ray. Ray. Number nine for the Clemson Tigers. I feel like I learned a lot about football. Is it a cartoon? No, no. It's so, okay, this college football player ended up.
Starting point is 00:57:09 True story. His mother had some drug problems, but he had a little brother and she had to go to rehab or the state offered her rehab that they were going to pay for. And, I mean, she needed to go do it. But his little brother was going to end up in a group home. So he, while he's at Clemson, takes in his little brother and hides him on campus in the dorm. And then I don't want to give everything away, but the team starts to help him in a way once they find out in coaches. But then the NCAA gets involved because it's like, whoa, whoa, whoa.
Starting point is 00:57:39 Apparently that's illegal. You can't have your little brother in your dorm. So he's like the one person that took a petition before the board of the NCAA and there had to be a vote. And you'll have to watch to see what happens. But either way, it's an inspiring story. and I loved it. It's a movie. It's a movie.
Starting point is 00:57:55 It's a feel good. It's for the whole family. Even my daughter, Stasheera, loved it. How long ago did this happen with this guy? Oh, this is long, I would say the early 90s, early 90s. I don't know. Back in the day, they have clips of Oprah interviewing them when it happened. Like the real, at the end, there's like real life footage, which is neat.
Starting point is 00:58:14 I just was, I was moved by Ray Ray. It's cold. I thought you were yelling at Ray, our producer. Yeah, I did too. She was like Ray Ray number nine. I was like clip nine to Ray Ray. Yeah, he's not that known, I guess, because he didn't go on to the NFL. Guess what position he played?
Starting point is 00:58:27 Safety. There we go, Bones. Yeah. Okay. It's on Disney Plus. The whole family will love it. Warning, though, it is a Clemson commercial. I mean, it's very Clemson.
Starting point is 00:58:39 Well, because he went to Clemson. I know. But it's like Rudy. Remember when Rudy came out? People were just like, oh, great, not a Dame commercial. That's what this is. What about Greater with Brandon Burlesworth, Arkansas? Okay.
Starting point is 00:58:48 Did you watch that? No, I haven't. Is that good? Well, I need to write this down. What sport is it? Football. Okay. It's on Netflix.
Starting point is 00:58:54 If you guys want to watch it, it's called Greater. Here's Amy's Pile of Stories. So Reba McIntyre and her boyfriend, his name's Rex Lynn. They recently had their first movie date, but they rented out the entire movie theater for private screening of Tom Hanks' new movie, News of the World. And this used to be something you would think that only Reba could afford. But because of the pandemic, it costs $149 to rent out an AMC theater right now
Starting point is 00:59:25 in case you're wondering. And maybe you want to grab a few friends and go do that or take a date or whatever. Yeah, that used to be the thing we'd look at and go, that's so baller. And although it is expensive now, but it doesn't cost $10,000 to do it anymore. Right.
Starting point is 00:59:39 It's like the price of taking a family to the movies, honestly. You're right. Exactly right. Reva took a picture and put it up. It's just her in the theater with all the snacks, popcorn, soda, Reese's pieces, having a good time. You know, the thing. about movies that I like.
Starting point is 00:59:52 I don't like going to the theaters. I haven't for years. Because I just don't want to deal with people talking and being on their phone. But the movie theaters that give you good food and have the reclining chairs, that actually makes it a bit worth it. Yeah. If you can find one of those in your town. Some towns have them. I like the Alamo draft houses.
Starting point is 01:00:09 Sure. Or this. Like, what's this one that even went to? AMC. AMC. They have like the chairs that lean back. And the reserve seating is great. When you buy your ticket online, you get a seat.
Starting point is 01:00:20 You don't have to go in looking for seats. Right. In the dark. Yeah. What's your favorite movie snack? Or like if you're at the movies, what's the one thing you're buying? If I am allowing myself to eat candy. Yes.
Starting point is 01:00:31 I like milk duds probably. And it's the only place I'll eat it is the movies. Milk duds. Yeah. Out of all the candies they have. You know all the options they have there. Right. Okay.
Starting point is 01:00:42 Well, speaking of food, if you like fruity pebbles and cocoa pebbles, ice cream is in the works to hit grocery store. this year. No word yet on which stores are going to carry the ice creams, but you've now got your favorite cereals in ice cream form. Which do you like better, cocoa or fruity pebbles? Fruty pebbles. Oh, I like cocoa better because what it does to the milk. And I'm sure it's going to do that to the ice cream too. Yeah, because when it melts. Yeah, it's so good. Both are good. Who is on fruity, who is on cocoa? Do you remember? Ooh, two different? Tucan is on, no, no, no, no, stop it. It's going to be the Flintstone. Fruty pebbles was Fred Flintstone. Coco was
Starting point is 01:01:19 born. Okay, cool. Amy went two can, Sam. All right, what else? Whatever, similar cereal taste wise. The puppy bowl will be back despite the pandemic. Some people don't know if it's still going to happen. But Discovery announced that the three-hour 17th annual event will be going down on Sunday, February 7th.
Starting point is 01:01:39 And why this is awesome is they get puppies from shelters to compete in this. And every year, the puppies and kittens that are featured in the puppy bowl, they have 100% adoption rate, success. So it's fun. I think I'm going to gather. I've never really been into this, but now I might gather my kids and be like, we need to watch this. I was about to talk crap about it before she said all that. Can I gamble on it? Because I've been
Starting point is 01:02:02 on fire lately. How are you going to gamble on these dogs? I'm sure. There's gambling for everything. We know nothing about these dogs. Yeah, but I mean, it could just be a toss-up. Okay. All right. Is that an Yeah, I made me. That's my pile. That was Amy's pile of stories. It's time for the good news.
Starting point is 01:02:18 With lunchbox. something good. A woman in Avondale, Arizona was getting ready for work, doing her hair, and she looks out the bathroom window, and she goes, man, that house across the street, there's smoke. Oh, no, the neighbor's house is on fire, and she runs over there and banging on the door. Fire! Fire! Fires up the family and four kids, and when they get outside, the roof collapsed in, saved all their lives. Wow. All that is crazy. Yeah. Yeah, and it's all caught on ring doorbell camera.
Starting point is 01:02:48 Everything's caught on a ring doorbell camera nowadays Everything's on camera now I saw on Reddit Where someone goes hey What's this guy doing in my house He came up and You know come to the porch He had some kind of machine in his hand
Starting point is 01:03:02 And they were like Oh what that is What he's doing is He's walking by the windows To see if there's a keyless entry Like key Nearby Because he knows if he goes in
Starting point is 01:03:10 He can steal that key And steal your car It's like a machine that recognizes it And she had posted it up Because I follow a Reddit thread for him that's like, hey, what is this? And she's like, this is a guy who was at my door and he had this machine.
Starting point is 01:03:24 What was he doing? He didn't knock. He was just at the door, putting it near the doors and windows. Crazy. Because it can sense where the keys are, and if it's close enough, they go in, take it and instill your car. Crazy. That's not like one of your conspiracies, Amy, by the way.
Starting point is 01:03:36 How do you know? All right, there you go. That's a great story. That's what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good. Starting point is 01:07:30 Strawberry Wine, 25 years since that song was number one and her whole story. It's a really great interview and she's fantastic, especially if you love 90s country. She talked about her and Kenny Chesney writing songs.
Starting point is 01:07:40 Neither one of them were famous. Oh, wow. She met Kenny because he had a lot. move his truck because they were writing it were writing together and she was like it's me parked behind you they're just writing in that random house it's a crazy that's awesome crazy podcast so check out the bobby cast wherever you listen to your podcasts we're going over to amy now for the morning corny but the thing is there's something happening in the background where amy like talking to ray like give me this clip we're going to try something new with the morning corny today what's happening
Starting point is 01:08:05 right now you'll see just go with it all right here we go the morning corny My friend's wife asked him to stop singing I'm a believer by the monkeys because she found it annoying. At first, he thought she was kidding. But then he saw her face. Then I saw her face. I'm a believer. I think pound for pound this is the worst one ever told on our show. I mean, it was very different.
Starting point is 01:08:37 She took a chance. Yeah, I like that. No, no. I'm not saying that we didn't learn something from it. What'd you learn? Not to try that again, ever. Should I have let, here's what I was debating. Should I have let the song be the answer?
Starting point is 01:08:56 Like, this is what I was thinking. At first, he thought she was kidding. And then I say, but. And then Ray hits the clip. Okay, that could be better. You know? Maybe. But I said it and then the clip.
Starting point is 01:09:09 You don't happen to have another one, do you? I feel like if our listeners can't tell it, some of them like to tell these jokes But here's what they, I thought that through, I'm a step ahead of you. I thought people might be able to say when it gets to the end, at first he thought she was kidding. But then it's all her face. Okay, that's kind of funny.
Starting point is 01:09:30 If you do it like that. Better, better, better. All right. So, sorry, I should have done it how I would encourage other people to do it. Or is it so dumb that it's funny. I would also say maybe you smash mouth because more people our age are going to know smash mouth singing that song than the monkeys. So all you have to do is just And then I saw her face
Starting point is 01:09:48 Just say it like that I wouldn't I say hey Whatever I don't know what It's the dumbest So but you You don't have to have an audio clip
Starting point is 01:09:57 To tell the joke You just sing it How would you tell it Without the audio clip So now I would go The whole thing Go ahead The whole thing
Starting point is 01:10:03 Okay So my friend's wife Asked him to stop singing I'm a believer By the monkeys Because she found it annoying At first He thought she was kidding
Starting point is 01:10:12 But then He saw her face Now he's a believer. You gotta keep going. I wouldn't need it. That's funny. That's funny. That's funny.
Starting point is 01:10:23 Listen, we tried, right? That's what, hey, all I can do is show up and try my best. That's right. That's it. And I just did. That was the morning corny. You guys can call us either when we're on the air or call us when we're off. If you're listening on the podcast, 877, 7.7.
Starting point is 01:10:45 77 B-O-B-B-Y. That spells Bobby. Here is voicemail number one. Hey, guys. I'm a huge fan of the show. I just wanted to give my mom a shout out her birthdays today, and she turned 69 years old. Nice.
Starting point is 01:11:00 Have a great day, guys. Thanks. Bye. Nice. See what you started. We're juveniles. Here's the next one. Yo, Mr. Bobby Bone.
Starting point is 01:11:07 Hey, I was wondering if you were ever going to do the easy trivia on Zoom again. Me and my life, since I was funny. and then all of a sudden, it just stopped. Are you playing on ever doing that again? Let us know. Thank you. Yes, I was talking with, we'll call it a network, about picking it up as a TV show,
Starting point is 01:11:26 so we stopped until then. We're still kind of in talks, but not really. So if that doesn't go through it, we'll start doing it again. Here's another one. What up, Bobby? You had a question, man. I'm wondering when that show of yours is coming out. I'm looking forward to watching it, man.
Starting point is 01:11:37 Thank you. Breaking Bobby Bones on NatGeo slash Disney Plus. Hopefully in the spring. That is the goal. I have to go sleep on a boat, like a tugboat this weekend. Oh, yeah? Like a drag boat. And they're like, you're going to...
Starting point is 01:11:53 This show is hard to do. And so I'm going out and they're like, you have to sleep in, and there's you and like four crew members sleeping in this name. I was like, I guess I... Do I have Netflix? I need some sort of TV on. Snacks? We have to work overnight.
Starting point is 01:12:06 No, man, all these guys, from what I've seen, they just stay up late and play cards and drink. That's what you got to do. Well, not drink, but you don't drink, but play cards with them and hang out with them to, like... I think it's a hard job. But I'm going down to Tuscaloosa. Yeah, Eddie, I doubt Bobby's filming a TV show.
Starting point is 01:12:20 Breaking Bobby Bones. Play cards on a bullet on my. Yeah, good point. All these songs will be from Disney movies. We're going to play Survivor style. So if you miss it, you're out. I'm going to play. I've probably seen four Disney movies ever.
Starting point is 01:12:35 Out of a lot. But I think I know the music, though. Okay. So me, Eddie, Amy, Lunchbox. Ready here with, here is the first Disney song. And K. Okay. Lunchbox, your first?
Starting point is 01:13:12 Man. Ah, man, I'll go with Lion King. I have no idea. Eddie? That's Lion King, Amy? Lion King. Lion King is what I have to. Good.
Starting point is 01:13:22 All right, number two, which Disney movie is it from? Lunchbox? I put Aladdin. Aladdin for me too. Eddie? That's Aladdin, Boat. What? Oh, no.
Starting point is 01:13:52 Are you out? I'm out. What'd you play? You know, way up here, because she's normally in the Ocean and she comes up. I put the Little Mermaid. What is wrong with me? Wow.
Starting point is 01:14:04 Wow, Amy, I'm shocked. I beat somebody. I'm proud of myself. All right. Have fun, guys. Bye. Amy. All right.
Starting point is 01:14:12 Name the Disney movie. I only know this because of the person's singing it. You know it? I do. I've never seen it. I just recognize the voice. We're only going to go three deep. Yeah, I'm out then.
Starting point is 01:15:02 Lunchbox? Well, I know that's Christina Aguilera. It is. seen Aguilera. And the only thing I can think of is Mulan Rouge, but I don't even know if that's a cartoon. It's not a cartoon, right? Your answer is...
Starting point is 01:15:15 I have Mulan Rouge written down because I know she's in that. Okay. Eddie? I wonder if he's got it somewhat right, but that's not what I put. I put the princess and the frog. The answer is Mulan. Dang it. He was so close.
Starting point is 01:15:32 He was so close. Gosh. Yeah. It's the old Mulan. And I remember Christina I was singing that song Because I haven't seen it Well I've actually never seen that one either
Starting point is 01:15:46 Did you see the new one? No Mike's the new one good It's okay The original's better Really? Yeah Is the original line
Starting point is 01:15:53 What about the Lion Kings? Oh I would still say The animated versions are better On all the new recent live action ones Do you think that's because you saw The animated ones first? Yeah, I think they have a little bit more charm Because they're all animated
Starting point is 01:16:05 Movie Mike's movie podcast is out He has a whole episode coming up of the most anticipated movies for 2021. What do you think are the three movies we're looking forward to the most? I would say A Quiet Place Part 2, which comes out on April 23rd. Do you ever see The Quiet Place?
Starting point is 01:16:18 No, it's too scary for me. Well, I don't like scary movies either, but I also really love The Office. And John Krasinski, I believe he directed it. Yeah. Do you write it? Yep. Oh, he wrote it too.
Starting point is 01:16:29 So I watched it because I was right in the middle. I liked it a lot. Yeah, that's good? And I don't like scary movies. Did it haunt you for a week, though, after that? No. Okay, because that's what I worry about. Because it's not about living your normal life and somebody comes and murders you.
Starting point is 01:16:44 It's about some sort of weird time where these monsters are roaming and if you make a sound, they track B.S. So it's so science fiction that it felt safe to me. Amy, did you watch it? No, I don't know. But is it for kids? Yeah. No, I mean, could I watch it with, well, at least my older child, 13? She loves scary movies, that's why. Yes.
Starting point is 01:17:06 Then yes. Then yes. Okay. Okay, I'll watch it with her. Give us that review. So, A Quiet Place Part 2. I would watch that. What else? Black Widow comes out on May 7th.
Starting point is 01:17:15 Which is Scarlett Johansson, who was one of the Avengers. Yep. And it's her own movie? Yeah. That's cool. A prequel. Now, are they releasing these on streaming sites? Are they coming to theaters?
Starting point is 01:17:25 These will be in theaters, yeah. These will be in theaters. Wait, a quiet place is in theater? Here's an annoying thing I heard about a quiet place. Because it's so quiet during the movie, too, that people, if you were like chewing popcorn and stuff in the theater, People were like, hey, really? Stop eating. We're trying to, it's too quiet up there.
Starting point is 01:17:41 The movie, the quiet place is quiet. Well, because any sound, the monsters come. So it's very quiet. That's funny. Okay, and the third one? Top Gun Maverick on July 2nd. Oh, I cannot wait for this. Wasn't it coming out like three years ago?
Starting point is 01:17:55 It was supposed to come out last summer. Yeah, but things happened, you know. Mike does a whole list of those. Movie Mike's Movie Podcast. And then he plays a movie game to see if you can guess the famous movie studio music. So check out that podcast. Movie Mike's Movie, Movie, Movie,
Starting point is 01:18:08 Hey, you won the game, dude? Oh, yeah. Sorry. Oh! You're unbelievable. Come on, you got to celebrate. Sorry. I'm just trying to do a good segment.
Starting point is 01:18:21 Good job. Chris Lane, big, big plans. I have some more left of that Disney game. Okay. You're going to move? No, let's do. Can you do it tomorrow? Just checking in with Eddie, who is on a weird diet of only vegetables and fish and eggs.
Starting point is 01:18:35 Correct. That's it. That's it. That's the Matthew McConaughey. Dallas Buyers Club, as you guys call it diet. Are you still on it? Yeah, I'm still on it. Day, what, eight now? Walk me through this real quick. In the morning, you wake up,
Starting point is 01:18:46 your eyes open, you eat. Two egg whites. That's it. Okay. For lunch? Lunch, it's five ounces of fish and a cup of vegetables. Any kind of vegetables. For dinner? Same thing. Five ounces of fish and a cup of vegetables. Are you starving? Yeah. You are? I'm starving. I'm angry. My wife is like, oh my gosh, we have to get you
Starting point is 01:19:04 off this diet because you are just in the worst mood every day. And all I need, dude, is two bites of that fish. And I'm like, hey, guys, it's a great day, huh? Like, it's so Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, it's freaky. But I feel good, man. Like, this shirt, I feel like it was way more snug than this. So already, I feel like I'm making waves. And how long are you going to hold?
Starting point is 01:19:23 I don't know, just to whatever I feel good. I have these pair of jeans that used to fit real nice and now they're really tight. I think as soon as those start feeling perfect, I might quit. But then you do realize once you start to bring, like, live a normal. normal life and eat like your body's telling you, hey, I'm hungry. It's going to, you know, like you'll go, you can't live this way forever. It's not sustainable. So don't do it to yourself.
Starting point is 01:19:47 I don't think I'm going to jump straight into like the old ways of doing things. Like I think I'll just kind of slowly build in, you know, like. Could the listeners hear that when I roll my eyes or no? No, they didn't hear that. But I saw it. Yeah. Eddie got this from the Matthew McConaughey book, but you loaned to Mike D. Correct.
Starting point is 01:20:03 Our writer. Mike, what did you think about it? I thought it was pretty good. Good. I really like the stories he told about how he prepared for roles and how he went from being like the rom-com guy to winning best actor. Pretty cool. Did you read it? How long it took you a week? Six days. It took me like a day and a half. Oh, boy. Well, I mean, you know, it was around family. It's not like I just read the whole book the entire time. It was good? Yeah, I think I like it. You said you knew why Matthew McDonaghey smelled bad? Well, you know we've met him a few times, and the times that I've met him, for sure, he smelled like terrible. B-O, like, terrible.
Starting point is 01:20:35 And I thought, like, okay, I guess that's just this thing. He doesn't wear deodor and he's hippish. But, dude, I'm telling you right now that since I started this fish diet, my B-O's starting to be a little stronger than it used to be. I don't like that. B-O? Yeah. Body odor. I know.
Starting point is 01:20:49 I don't know. I don't like it. You're sitting next to Eddie now. I don't know. I just showered. Like, I'm talking about like 2 o'clock. It's just like, what is happening right now? You know, your body's detox.
Starting point is 01:20:59 Maybe. So that's why Matthew smelled. It's not because he was some dirty hippie that we always thought he was. Matthew. Like Eddie knows him now. Good old Matthew was just on a diet. Well, Lunchbox says he'd like to spill the tea for a second. Ramundo, if you have it ready, would you mind hitting that spill the tea button, please?
Starting point is 01:21:18 Let's spill the tea. Eddie, I would like, yeah, sorry. Eddie, I'd like to go over your breakfast one more time. Can you just reiterate what you eat for breakfast every morning? So two egg whites in the morning. Okay. Well, you understand when you do a hard-boiled egg and you eat the yolk in the middle,
Starting point is 01:21:36 that is not egg white. You have ruined your diet. I watch you in the kitchen, eat the entire egg every morning. You don't even follow the Matthew McConaughey diet. So you can sit here and, oh, I've been down in eight days. You're not even doing the diet. You cheated from the start.
Starting point is 01:21:52 You are Nolan void. You are no longer Matthew McConaughey. You're fired. Canceled. Cancel culture 100%. You're out of here, buddy. Like, come on, dude, if you're going to do it, do it. Dang.
Starting point is 01:22:02 Wait, why did you not tell us that? I just eat the eggs. I mean, I don't know. But egg white and egg. Oh, he thought I meant white egg. He wasn't eaten blue. He was white. So I eat the whole egg.
Starting point is 01:22:13 What's the yoke gonna do? Well, Bobby. And why are we pronouncing a yoke? I'm Bobby. I know. Sorry. Normally I'm talking to you about this ridiculousness. All of a sudden, I want to put an L in yolk.
Starting point is 01:22:23 Yeah, why it is spelled yoke. It's a yoke. I know it's spelled that way. But it's a word. I-O-L-K, yoke. Okay. What do you say? Do you can know why?
Starting point is 01:22:31 What do you say? Do you say, Foltz? Folt? Hi, folks. No, good folks. Say egg yolk. Egg, what? Yoke.
Starting point is 01:22:39 Yoke. I probably say it wrong. It's yoke. Okay. Okay, Amy. Amy, you're missing the point. Eddie is getting cheated on his diet the whole time. Who cares?
Starting point is 01:22:48 Listen, guys, Eddie is trying to deflect because he doesn't even do the diet. He's eating the egg yolk and we all know he's been cheating the whole time. That's right. Don't defleck. on my pronunciation of yoke, which is correct, by the way. Also, the difference is, Eddie, is that
Starting point is 01:23:04 I don't, I don't condone this diet. I don't support what you're doing to yourself at all. I think you should eat. But the difference is egg whites are virtually like low, low calorie, got a little protein, fat free. The yolk adds about five to seven grams of fat per egg. Oh my.
Starting point is 01:23:19 And cholesterol. But I don't think that significantly changes the diet. I don't, I don't either. But there has to be a reason why. Matthew was doing egg whites only. Oh crap, guys, I'm telling you. Our friend Matthew. If I take out the yoke, I don't know if I can do this diet.
Starting point is 01:23:34 And Eddie's also been eating goldfish, the crackers. No, I have not. Five ounces of fish. I just too five ounces. We found all these ways he's been cheating the diet. Swedish fish, goldfish. Guys, I'm not losing anyway. He's been in a bonefish grill every lunch.
Starting point is 01:23:48 Guys, just fish. Okay. But you're feeling good? Yeah, dude, I feel great. I mean, according to my wife, I'm very angry certain times. I haven't seen it. Why do you want to be... Because I just ate the egg.
Starting point is 01:24:00 The whole egg. That's why I'm good right now. Oh, okay. Yeah. Lunchbox, thanks for spilling the tea. That is Spill the Tea. Hit it again. That was, let's spill the tea. You should stop soon, though.
Starting point is 01:24:12 I would think. What? The diet or eating the yoke? Everything. Stop eating the yoke first. Dude, I don't know if I can do that, honestly. But the diet, I'm telling you, I'm not going to do this forever. I'm not trying to get Matthew McConaughey size, whatever. He was like 120 pounds.
Starting point is 01:24:26 I'm just trying to lose. wait fast and we'll see how it goes. Which is always very healthy. Right. He snaps his fingers. I want it fast. Bobby, tell him that mentality. If it falls off fast, it comes back fast.
Starting point is 01:24:38 Is that true? That's what I just said a minute ago. Once you start eating carbs again. You got to speak to us like the cavemen that we are. It falls off fast. You come back fast. What? Fall down fast.
Starting point is 01:24:48 What? It's time for the good news. With Bobby. Tell me something good. In May 2018, Uber driver Latanya Young's passenger changed her life. Now, she was talking with this guy named Kevin. She picked him up for a ride. She's a single mom.
Starting point is 01:25:08 She said, hey, I'm driving an Uber to pay off the electric bill and to save enough money to go back to school. He said, okay, stop thinking about going back to school and just do it. And at the end of the 20-minute ride, he gave her $150 as a tip to pay off the electric bill. They kept in touch. A couple weeks later, she texted him that she tried to register for classes to give them an update, but said the school couldn't enroll her because of her outstanding balance that she had. He was like, okay, well, let me get you.
Starting point is 01:25:34 Here's the obstacle, I will take care of it. So he paid the $700 that she owed. Wow. December of 2019, she graduated with an associate's degree. Now, they're still in touch. They still talk. He's a friend and a mentor. During the pandemic, he continued her studies online.
Starting point is 01:25:50 And now she's going to graduate with her bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Georgia State. And she said she wouldn't have been able to do any of that had the electric bill not been paid. Yeah. And had her fee not been waived. Come on. And that she's still talking and working with him now. That's a great. Isn't that a good story?
Starting point is 01:26:05 Yeah, I love that. It's just a Uber. It's just a random passenger. I know. The conversations that can come out of a random ride. And I don't think I, listen, I haven't Uber in a long time because coronavirus. I don't like to talk. I know.
Starting point is 01:26:18 I know. But I've had a lot of talkers and it was never anything like this. All right. There you go. That's what it's all about. That was tell me something good. Starting point is 01:30:04 877-77-old-7-B-S-7-B-O-B-B-Y. Cindy and Pennsylvania is on the phone. Hello, Cindy. Good morning. Good morning. How are you guys? Doing pretty good. What can I do for you? I wanted to know with COVID and all of the curbs. side pickups, should you tip the person that's putting the stuff in your car? I mean, if you can, you know, there really isn't etiquette rules or written about this because
Starting point is 01:30:33 Johnny etiquette didn't know COVID was a thing. But some of my friends who still work in the service industry, they either can split the tips when they're called in, because you know how you can tip a little bit on the payment as well. Some do, some don't. But if you have a couple bucks, it just always helps anybody. Honestly, if you have two bucks and you keep cash on you and you hand them a couple bucks, great. If you don't, I don't think you're committing a mortal sin. Honestly, I always err to the side of tipping if I can. But I would say, if you can, please do, but don't feel terrible if you can't. Okay? Okay. Yep. Thank you. All right. See you later. But a lot of folks that are carrying food to a car, curbside, that's most of their job. Yeah. Maybe ringing it up,
Starting point is 01:31:18 but that's most of their job that night. And they may also be making a little more of the minimum wage. But right now there just is no general rule. So my rule for life is if I have it and I can, I try to make a point too. Well, there's curbside pickup for all kinds of things besides just if you're picking up food. It could be like a Target run or a Walmart. Like there's places where you might be picking up a game or a box or whatever you ordered. But I agree with you 100%.
Starting point is 01:31:40 If you can do it, do it. I always forget cash. And then I'm away there. I'm like, I have no cash. Do you have a VINMO, though? Well, I have to run into a gas station. and I do Venmo. And that's always an awkward conversation.
Starting point is 01:31:50 And I do it. Hey, do you have Venmo? And a couple times they'll go, no. And I'll go, do you have PayPal? Do you have, I'll go like three or four deep. And usually if they're younger, they'll have one of them on their phone. I appreciate that call. Again, if you guys have any questions, you want to ask us, 877-70-Bobby.
Starting point is 01:32:10 And just a tip to those that do have that job, if you're listening, download the Venmo app and then have your little scan thing ready. because I'll say like at Sonic or whatever. It's the coolest thing whenever you do say, hey, do you have VINMO? And they're like, yeah, and they whip out their phone and they have the little, what's that called, QDR code or whatever. And then you scan it, boop.
Starting point is 01:32:29 Pay them a couple bucks. You're done. So like set yourself up for success. I was talking about love languages, right? Kaila told me her number one is quality time and words of affirmation. There you go. I think I had mentioned physical touch.
Starting point is 01:32:44 Oh, you just is. I assume. She's with me. I figured all she wanted was for me to touch her. Why not? With these hands. All right, creepy. All right, let's go over and do the news. Bobby's Big. Story. Alabama beat Ohio State last night, 52 to 24, winning another national championship. Here is the final call.
Starting point is 01:33:10 In a season of chaos, the crimson tide are the conference. Constant excellence. Bama bludges the Buckeyes and Saban steps past Paul Bryant with his seventh national championship. There you go. All-time greatest college football coach. It was never even a question beforehand. Yeah. But for sure now.
Starting point is 01:33:33 It was like Tom Brady when he won his last Super Bowl. It was like, okay, you got to stop the debate. Right, right. There's been room for debate, but now there's no debate. He's the greatest. So congratulations to Alabama. Let's do some more news. Here we go.
Starting point is 01:33:45 Bobby's other big. Story. A new study ranked every state from best place to raise a family in 2021 to the worst place to raise a family for 2021, from education to affordability, to parks and playgrounds. The best two are Massachusetts and Minnesota. Okay, and I'll run through the best 10 real quick. Massachusetts, Minnesota, North Dakota, New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Washington, Connecticut, and Utah. Really? Wow.
Starting point is 01:34:14 So much on the east. hurts, the worst. And I blame the leaders for this. Because Arkansas's on this. Oh, man. Yeah. New Mexico, this is the worst. New Mexico, Mississippi, West Virginia, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Alabama.
Starting point is 01:34:33 Hey, take that Alabama. He may want a championship, but education is not so good, though. South Carolina, Arizona, and Nevada. So those are the worst. There you go. Let me do another story. A hacker took control of an internet-connected chastity cage. Do you know what a chastity cage belt is? I know the chastity belt from back in the day.
Starting point is 01:34:57 Yeah, so it keeps you from... But on a guy. Yeah. I had a Google list. Yeah, so it's the same thing. So it's like a chastity cage for a guy. It keeps your junk from doing anything dirty. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:35:08 It's an old school thing, but they make chastity cages now. Well, of course, obviously, because it's 2021, it's online. You can connect it online. Digital. Yeah. And so someone hacked it. And so they go, okay, I got you. The cage was then held and locked until the guy gave him Bitcoin.
Starting point is 01:35:28 What? And he said, I'm not going to let you go or you're blank. That's the worst kind of hostage ever. It took us wee-wee hostage. I mean, you mean what? Nothing. And who thinks of this stuff? Well, hackers.
Starting point is 01:35:44 And how does the hacker know that? There must be someone on the inside. Yeah, some connection. Because you don't know someone's wearing that unless you know. Oh, I don't know that it was necessarily to the person. It was like the whole, the system of like anybody that owned maybe, I took it as that particular brand. Like he was able to hack the app. He hostaged everyone.
Starting point is 01:36:03 Oh, I don't know. He got into the app and saw who was online. I don't think he was like, oh, I know my friend Bobby has a thing, so I'm going to hack it. It was. No, no. It was this brand of whatever. You know what? I did for about the first 30 years of my life.
Starting point is 01:36:15 It was called my face. Oh my gosh. Yeah, that worked like a charm. It was my face and my personality. Nobody wanted anything to do with it. All right. That's what's up. Thank you.
Starting point is 01:36:25 That's the news. Bobby's big. Story. These are the top songs in country music right now. Let's go to number three. Luke Combs Better Together. Some things just go better together. And probably always will
Starting point is 01:36:43 like a cup of coffee. and the sunrise, Sunday drives in time to kill. I saw you do the painful face expression, like when you're really into a song right then. Oh, was that? You know how when you feel a song, you're like, hmm? Oh, because I felt that. What's cool about that song is just him on a piano. Yeah, that's pretty cool.
Starting point is 01:37:02 Number two, Dan and Shay, I should probably go to bed. They did a really fun TikTok because you can duet with people on TikTok where an artist will play guitar and not sing, but you can sing with them. or piano, but Dan did the piano and other people were jumping on to sing it, but then Shay got on his TikTok, and it's pretty cool. That's like a fan. I think I'm going to do that today. I'm going to go and duet with Dan. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:37:36 Sing this as best as I possibly can, but really hard, and it's going to be cringy. Dan and bones. Dan and a guy. And number one, for a third week, which is very rare in country music. Lady A, Champagne Night at number one. Number one, pop song is Ariana Grande, position. And then, what? Just when my daughter went to listen to this, I'm like,
Starting point is 01:38:14 uh-huh. You know what? Honestly, I hear it all the time. I don't even think it's like that. I know. But then sometimes you're a mom, and then she's like, hey, Laksa play positions by Ariana Grande. And then we're in the kitchen.
Starting point is 01:38:26 She doesn't under, I'm thankful. She doesn't understand what Ariana is singing about, but, you know. It's just awkward. She has another song on the radio at 3435. What does that mean? Adam up. Oh, nice. Nice.
Starting point is 01:38:40 Finally, the number one alternative song is by I Don't Know How, but they found me, and the song is called Leave Me Alone. There you go. Hey, coming up. Hey, turn Chelsea in Nashville up real quick for a second. I like to talk with her. Hey, Chelsea, are you there? I am. Can you hang for like three minutes? I do want to talk about your question, but I got to hit a quick break. I'm going to come back and talk about not only your question about a wedding, but I did taste testing yesterday for the wedding, which is a really weird thing. I never experienced anything like this before but I'll tell you what the process was yesterday for me but Chelsea can you hold for three minutes or do you have to get into work?
Starting point is 01:39:25 No, I'm good. All right, there she is. We'll come back. She has a question about is something tacky at a wedding that's in her life. You know how we love judging tackiness. Oh yeah, all the time. Let's go over to Chelsea.
Starting point is 01:39:37 Chelsea, thank you for holding. What's going on with you? Hey, I just had a question for you. Go ahead. Do you think that it's for weight down for to have a tip jar out at a wedding. Okay, could you have trouble here?
Starting point is 01:39:51 Yeah, she said, do you think it's tacky for the wait staff at the wedding to have a tip jar out, like a bartender? I think if it has already been discussed with the people that are having the wedding, sure. I mean, that's something that you have to talk about with the wedding folks. Because, listen, every bar is different at a wedding. Sometimes, like we had this conversation yesterday where, listen, I've never been married. We're trying to plan a wedding for this summer. And we go and do taste tests of all this stuff.
Starting point is 01:40:19 And they're like, hey, what about the bar? I don't drink at all. Caitlin almost never drinks. And so we're like, we don't know. And so we picked a few drinks. They're like, do you want to open bar? We're like, no, we don't care about open bar. Excuse me?
Starting point is 01:40:33 Whoa, whoa, whoa, Bobby, you're having an open bar. Yes, you are. I don't know what that means. But why not? Well, we'll go back. Amy and I will go back and change it. Yeah. What we're doing is there's like four or five drinks that we have.
Starting point is 01:40:44 Named after you. One of them is Bobby Water. Oh my gosh. But, yeah, I mean, you can have those. But we don't have every alcohol known a man. No, no, that's not what open bar means. Open bar means that whatever is available for people to drink, you've paid for. Why are you guys yelling at me like I have to have?
Starting point is 01:41:01 Because it would be if you had us have drink tickets or you made us pay. Oh, drink tickets? Get out of here. But that, I understand some people have to do that. So I'm not even slamming that. Some people can't, bars are weddings are expensive. But we know. You can pay for it.
Starting point is 01:41:18 You could get us a few drinks, bones. It's an open bar. Dang, rude. Okay, I didn't understand what open bar meant. I thought open bar meant they had everything. No, not really. It just means that you as the groom and the bride have covered the bill. Okay, thank you.
Starting point is 01:41:32 Well, I guess we're going to have an open bar. Yeah. But we're not having, we have like four or five drinks that you can choose from. Not, I'm going to have a tequila sunrise with a spritzer and a double doss. No, none of that. No, it would be the Bobby Bahama Mama. Oh, of course it was. but it's the wedding thing is so particular that I think that has to be discussed by the bar staff
Starting point is 01:41:52 you might have put out of tip jar yeah and if what a backup actually knowing you you would be like hey guys I'm gonna tip you I'm gonna tip you so I'm handling the tip I'd rather not have a tip jar out I don't I don't want my guest to feel like if they don't have cash they're like oh crap that's exactly I know you so you're probably not gonna have a tip jar however other people might be in a different situation. So I don't find it tacky at all. That's your wedding, your day, you're putting on a party for people as best as you can. You may be able to supply the alcohol, but maybe you can't, you don't have extra for the tip. So why not have people throw a dollar or two in there? My point is, it's up to the person throwing the wedding if it's tacky or not. Why, Chelsea,
Starting point is 01:42:32 are you having a wedding? This is just the discussion that I had with some of my friends. Okay, well, here's the answer. It's only tacky if the person having the wedding doesn't know anything about it and someone puts it out. Yeah. Like if you have it planned for, like I guess she's saying also too as a guest, if you went to a wedding and you saw a tip jar. No, I wouldn't think it was tacky. I would just assume that they had it all arranged. No, I wouldn't think it was tacky, but I think the rule is you got to go through the person having the wedding. And then I think what we need to do is examine if we think something like that is tacky.
Starting point is 01:43:04 We need to look within ourselves. Okay, woke Amy. All right, here we go. It is. It's like why. Why judge someone for that? Amy has become the woken member of the show like times a thousand. They're not the wrong with that, but I mean, woke Amy in effect. Well, I'm not like irresponsibly woke like some people online. I'm not going to, but I feel like sometimes I probably in the past would have thought, oh, that's kind of tacky.
Starting point is 01:43:26 But I've done some work. And I'm not going to judge anybody for that. Nobody's judging. All I'm saying is it's not tacky as long as the person having the wedding knows about it. I agree. It's if you sneak one and you're the bartender. Oh, yeah. That's kind of tacky.
Starting point is 01:43:40 Oh, hey, heads up. Tips are right here. Just go ahead and slide it right there. But no, I don't think it's tacky as a general rule. So there you go, Chelsea. Thank you for your call. And it's like the dollar dance. You know, when they do that dance at the beginning and you can dance with the bride and you like stick a dollar in her panties or something?
Starting point is 01:43:57 Sure. That's it, right? The bra. You know what? Okay, yeah. Tell me what the dollar dance is then? That is that. You can, some people do a dollar or some people throw it a $100 bill in the panties.
Starting point is 01:44:10 But where do you put it? Well, some people stick it in the ball. part of the dress or they pin it somewhere or maybe they do have a jar. Yeah. But there are people that think doing something like that out of wedding is definitely tacky. Right. And I do not. If you have it's your wedding, it's your day, you do whatever you want.
Starting point is 01:44:27 Heck, if it's a theme tacky wedding, good for you. That ain't tacky. But the dollar, the dollar dance is a fundraiser, right? For like your honeymoon. The honeymoon. So you can have cash. Yeah. That's cool.
Starting point is 01:44:37 You make money however you can. I agree. Completely down with it. Okay. I just thought it was the first time I heard about it. I thought you stuck in like the guy's underwear, but you don't apparently. You're just taking a jar or you hand it to somebody. Okay.
Starting point is 01:44:49 Chelsea, thank you for that. Appreciate it. Appreciate it. Yesterday, we had our, where we go and you kind of do what everyone at the wedding is going to do as far as food and you pick a wedding cake. And we did that yesterday. And so, Caitlin was like, don't eat lunch because we're going to be, and they bring you every appetizer that you were going to have.
Starting point is 01:45:11 And I had like a little. I don't want to say too much about it yet But I have like a little appetizer I have another little appetizer And they're like okay this is gonna be the meal And they bring the full meal out Oh wow Yeah
Starting point is 01:45:21 And then they're like Okay which cake would you like It's like an hour and a half long process Everybody's super nice And it was a bit different Because you're so socially distanced This point they dropped in front of you Then you have to kind of walk and get it
Starting point is 01:45:30 And bring it back to your seat Okay weird Well just because no one's getting close to each other Sure And so then they're like Okay let's try cake And they'd give us like 15 flavors of cake And we had picked
Starting point is 01:45:41 I'd picked like our favorite three. And so they brought out three flavors and we tried all the cake. And there were many cakes, but it was a cake for like four people, each of them. So we saved a bunch of it for Amy's daughter who wanted the cake. Nice. But we picked our cake yesterday. And I know you guys made fun of me for Funfetti. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:45:57 Did they have Funfetti? Of course they did. It was amazing. It was amazing. Hey, so the first thing that comes to mind when you're telling me this, so can you, can you go eat? Like, is it enough to eat? So, like, can you go and tell them like, hey, I'm getting married, I'm trying out some food, and they can test it.
Starting point is 01:46:15 And you can go eat for free and then be like, I don't like it. And then not get it. That's a very lunchbox thing to ask. I just came to my mind. Eddie, I'm sure they put down some sort of a deposit. Did you say you paid for the meal before? I don't know. Kaylin is running his wedding.
Starting point is 01:46:29 They're not just like, oh, okay, here. We had to set it up. Okay. I think we are using the company already. So there's a deposit. You have to commit to that. Okay, okay. So, but we did it and it was great.
Starting point is 01:46:39 And so we picked our food. and hopefully we get to have a wedding this summer. Is food just blanket option or will guests get to choose steak or chicken? It'll be one of those dual things. Surf and turf? Not the same time. We're paying for that. Calamari?
Starting point is 01:46:56 No. No, I don't do octopus anymore. Why? What happens? Because it's a squid. It's a squid. I don't care. If it even feels like an octopus, I ain't touching it.
Starting point is 01:47:04 Why? Because of his movie. Did you watch it? Did you watch an octopus teacher? No. I did. didn't. You're going to watch
Starting point is 01:47:12 my octopus teacher and go, oh, they're smarter than we are. It's like eating a dolphin. I'm not going to ruin Kallamara. Wait, now you see them as a pet?
Starting point is 01:47:20 Watch it. Go watch my octopus teacher on Netflix and get back to me. Right. Because you will go, never eating an octopus again. What's a ox? I've never eaten an octopus,
Starting point is 01:47:29 by the way. Squid is different. Pallamari is squid. Squid is like this big. See how stupid squid are? Yeah, they're probably not very smart. I'm only going to eat things
Starting point is 01:47:36 I think are far stupider than we are. I don't need octopus anymore, if I've ever. I thought squid was octopus. I'm pretty stupid. It looks like. My son was brave one time at a restaurant. He ordered octopus. And I was like, oh, really big guy. You're going to, you have to eat every single bite from this thing. It came out and it was slimy and it was gross and he ate it. But it took him like two hours to eat it. Squid dumb or no, Mike? He said they're in the same family and just as intelligent. Oh. Yeah. Amy, watch my octopus teacher.
Starting point is 01:48:04 I don't. Watch it with your daughter. Okay. Oh, we both like calamari. So don't ruin that for us. Just because you like it. It doesn't mean you just check it out. Okay. There you go. By the way, you're going bridesmaid shopping, dress shopping with Caitlin today? Yes, we try on dresses today.
Starting point is 01:48:22 I guess that's kind of an announcement. I think you are pound for pound the most important person to Caitlin and I both at the same spot in our wedding. Oh. Like to both of us. And so Amy is going to be a bridesmaid with Caitlin and her daughter is also going to be a bridesmaid junior. Junior bridesmaid. So because we could do that and they're both in the wedding, you guys are going to wear the same dress, like a boy-girl band?
Starting point is 01:48:45 I have no idea. Brides do it differently. That's going to be up to Caitlin. Yeah, that was the thing. I didn't know whenever we talked about it. I was like, oh, am I going to be on Bobby's side or on Caitlin's side? And apparently Bobby's OCD couldn't have a girl on his side. Oh, that's a little bit true, too.
Starting point is 01:49:01 And then... He's like, that'll throw everything off for the pictures. It would throw everything off. I don't like that. When it's all, but that's my life anyway. Order. Yes, very organized. But that being said, too, you and your daughter both are in the wedding together.
Starting point is 01:49:18 Yeah. And so if you're wearing a tuxedo, she, she? Oh, no, I wouldn't wear a tux on your. You, I would have been so weird. Yeah. You wouldn't have been aware. You'd have had to look at, and you had your hair pulled back like a boy. Stop.
Starting point is 01:49:30 No, you would have. What? Yeah. Okay, no. I was in my friend Luke's wedding as a bright grooms made. And I couldn't even look at the picture. And I wore the same dress as the bridesmaids and my hair was down. Well, it was fine.
Starting point is 01:49:44 Anyway, you guys are bridesmaid shopping today, dress shopping. Yes. You're good. Who's, I don't want to reveal too much. There is other people going, but I don't think you all have said who's going. I haven't said who's in my wedding party at all. Heck, one person haven't even asked yet. Oh, really?
Starting point is 01:49:59 Yeah. Oh, okay. Who? Yeah, he's going to tell you right now. Say it now. How many are on each? I don't even know. How many?
Starting point is 01:50:08 Like, because I know there's a, like there's another, there's a couple little junior bridesmaids. So, so Cheryl have some girlfriends up there. Uh-huh. Just, I think there are three junior bridesmaids? Yes. My niece. I have four kids, no, no, no. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 01:50:21 Her niece. There are no junior groomsmen. No juniors in there. Yeah. And then the other junior bridesmaids, we were talking about getting the junior bridesmaids together for like a little, I don't know. Maybe I should schedule them getting their nails done or something together. Well, there's breaking news. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 01:50:37 Do you guys post pictures of that? That is up to her, not me. I wouldn't think so, because I don't think, I don't know what kind of decisions are going to be made today. I just, I just know where to be in what time. I don't know the details. Russell in Oklahoma, you're on the Bobby Bone show. Russell, thank you for calling.
Starting point is 01:50:54 What's going on? I've got a question. If you have an open bar and God forbid somebody had an accident, are they liable or can they come back on you or do you know anything about that? Well, I'd be the wrong guy to ask about this. Oh, we need Morgan and Morgan. Yeah. Hey, I see that guy's commercial all the time now.
Starting point is 01:51:19 I would think you would not be liable. The, so you probably, probably the bar company, I don't know, but. I would think the wedding people would not be liable. That's what I would think. Maybe the venue? Hmm, interesting. I don't know. I would think the wedding.
Starting point is 01:51:36 that would not be liable. Okay. All right. Thank you. We know nothing about the law. Starting point is 01:55:19 Good morning. Welcome to the Bobby Bone Show. Good morning. Good morning. I was calling about the Dollar Dance. absolutely do a dollar dance. It's, the bride should have like a little bag. My great aunt actually made me mine.
Starting point is 01:55:40 It's a, when we got married back in the 90s, and you can make a lot of money. I'm all for making a lot of money. I just thought. Go ahead. The room can also participate as well. Well, my thought was, I guess I got, I've never been to a strip club, but I guess I I got strip club and dollar dance mixed up because I was like, what's the thing they do where they stick the money in your underwear? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:56:02 And then I realized, just in my head, but they stuck in a bag, Jennifer, you're talking about? Yes, my aunt made me this handmade crocheted purse. And that's what I used to carry mine in. The people dance with the bride or the groom for how long? And if you pay more, do you get a longer dance? And if you pay more, do you get like freak nasty to dip and you go hard? That's completely up to you guys On how you want to handle that You dance until there's nobody else left in line Okay
Starting point is 01:56:36 Thank you very much for the call Jennifer I appreciate that You're welcome and congratulations I'm very happy for you Thank you very much On my Instagram Which is Mr. Bobby Bones We were just laying around yesterday
Starting point is 01:56:49 Because we're not really leaving the house that much I'm even working from home a lot now Because Caitlin and I have something we're doing together That I can't talk about yet But if we get COVID right now We can't do it So I'm counting on you to not bring it into this room. You got it.
Starting point is 01:57:01 Yeah. Great. No pressure. Yeah. All right. I'm just going to back up over here. But we were hanging out and I record. I was going through some of her DM.
Starting point is 01:57:11 People are really rude to her on Instagram. And people were like bashing her for her fake eyelashes. The thing is, she doesn't wear fake eyelashes. And they were like, your eyelashes are too long. Quit being such a, you know. And she was like, these are, I don't wear fake eyelashes. So we posted a video talking about that. And I was like, tell everybody, we got your fake eyelashes.
Starting point is 01:57:27 She goes, God. God gave her the fake eye line. People are so mean to her. It's unbelievable. I have no idea. She's done nothing to anyone except live a life. It's crazy. Crazy.
Starting point is 01:57:39 Let's go to Lindsay in Texas. Hey, Lindsay, you're on the Bobby Bone show. How are you? Good morning. How are you guys? Pretty good. What can I do for you? All right.
Starting point is 01:57:48 So I heard somebody ask about the open bar and who would be liable. So I used to bartend and I've bartended a couple of weddings. and typically if the venue doesn't supply the bartenders, then they'll require whoever's there to have insurance. So that way if something did happen, the bartenders are liable and like PABC would get involved and you could get fined or your license revoked or something like that. Well, I appreciate that.
Starting point is 01:58:13 Thank you very much. We know nothing about the law, but we would be happy to consult with folks if they'll pay us the right amount. Right, everybody? Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes.
Starting point is 01:58:20 Let's go over to Bob and, or excuse me, Barb in Wisconsin. Hey, Barb, welcome to the Bobby Bone Show. Thank you for calling. Morning studio Morning Hey I've got some advice for Bobby I'm also engaged And I'm planning on giving
Starting point is 01:58:37 My fiancé on the day of our wedding Like a journal of words of affirmation So are you giving me advice to make one for Caitlin Because that's her love language Yeah She's like yeah I'm telling you This is what you need to do This is probably
Starting point is 01:58:56 It's probably Caitlin with a deeper voice I like some I like to get on Just just an idea Abby can you put me through real quick Hey bar That's a great idea though
Starting point is 01:59:05 I appreciate that Yeah I like it Thank you very much We are doing our own vows Oh wow that's cool Yeah we didn't do that Ray didn't do that I don't think lunchbox did that
Starting point is 01:59:14 I didn't do that Yeah Amy didn't do the first Yeah The first of what This of our group No yeah Yeah
Starting point is 01:59:20 Thank you Barb Appreciate that call I hope you have an amazing day You guys can call us You know what I like? That puts me on to a good segment idea. Barb didn't even know, but she suggested a funny segment. I do advice for people a lot because I feel like I'm completely removed.
Starting point is 01:59:35 It's best to get advice from someone who has no interest in your life. Because they're only taking the factors of the situation. Correct. Not of who is presenting it. You should call and give me advice. Like what advice do you have for me? Not about wedding in life in general. I don't want all wedding advice.
Starting point is 01:59:52 I actually don't want any. I take all my advice from Caitlin. But. Life advice for me, if you have it, call up 877.77 Bobby. Wow. Are you ready for this? I mean, this could get interesting because listeners aren't totally removed from your life because you share so much.
Starting point is 02:00:11 Yeah, they're in it, dude. Buckle up. There might be some, like when a listener calls in, you don't know anything about them. They know a lot about you. But that's okay. I'm sure we'll get, I'm down for this. Eddie, you? Of course.
Starting point is 02:00:26 By the way, tonight is lottery night one, tomorrow's lottery night two. Lunchbox is playing both of them heavily. He's spent a whole bunch of money on it. You are, how deep into both of these lotteries lunchbox? $125 each. Oh, my goodness. So tonight is the, I already forgot. It's the mega millions.
Starting point is 02:00:42 For how much? I believe it's almost 600 million. And then tomorrow night is. The power ball, which is like 550, 560. I mean, who knows when it gets to the jackpot time, it could be 600 million also. And when it goes over 500 million, you have to put a lot. little bit more in so you can win. So he may not be on the show tomorrow.
Starting point is 02:01:02 Oh, if he wins. How much do you need to win to quit? Probably 2 million. I think I can live off 2 million because you put it in the bank and don't you get interest or something. Don't you? He's asking us. Put it in the bank.
Starting point is 02:01:16 So if you make $2 million tonight, you're quitting the show. Absolutely. 100%. Are you letting us know, or are you just not coming in tomorrow? I'm never coming in. I won't even text you to say, hey, I'm out. I won't even say, you know, it's been a good run. I'll just disappear and you guys will never hear from me again. And you'll be like, man, I wonder what island that fool's on.
Starting point is 02:01:33 And because I'll be living on an island with my family and it'll be great. It'll be like 10 hours later. How are you? Hey, you know what? It doesn't take a jet very long to get to an island, does it? So you have a jet and an island for $2 million. You don't even have the money yet. You got to go to the office.
Starting point is 02:01:49 But also, you're going to run out of money. Well, that's a thing. Does he come back? Will you let him back if I mean, he's going to run out of the money? the two mill. So would you say, if he comes back, say, oh man, I ran out of my money to make sense with you guys. By the time he runs out of that two million, I ain't doing this anymore. Okay. You think it's going to be that long? I say he blows it in like a year. Exactly. Oh, oh my. No, not me in a year. Or did he just get a subtle. No, not me in a year.
Starting point is 02:02:13 But I'm saying like five years or so. I don't, six seven years. I don't know that this is going to be happening. I don't want to wake up in the morning. I get it. I get about five or six more years of waking up the morning. And I'm done. Max. Yeah, I won't have to wake up in the morning either. That's what I'm saying, that's going to be great. You know who I put on my vision board for this year? Who or what? Who?
Starting point is 02:02:33 Well, I had a, her name wasn't anywhere, so I had to cut it out like a ransom letter, like each letter. Huh. What are you talking about? Delilah. She works at night. I was just thinking of your night schedule and, you know, not wanting to wake up. I'm like, God. We have a lot of listeners wrote in and they go, hey, we don't care if you're live or not.
Starting point is 02:02:51 Just do the show and then come on for like 30 minutes and update the news. Oh. If there's any news of the day. I just, I've had it with waking up in the morning. I'm going to do it for a few more years, but I can't do it. I'm almost tapped out. You scare me a little bit. Nah, don't worry about that.
Starting point is 02:03:06 All right. Lunchbox has one other story I wanted to get to, speaking of money. The girl that won the $50,000, do you know that, Launchbox? Oh my gosh, so this girl, she's like 12 or 13 years old, and there was an essay contest, right? And so she writes an essay about her cat, and she wins $50,000.
Starting point is 02:03:25 She won first prize. And then she does the dumbest thing I've ever heard. She took the entire $50,000 and donated it to the cat shelter that she adopted her cat from. Like, what are her parents doing? Do her parents not realize that she could use that money to go to college or buy a car or, I mean, buy a house when she's old enough? They let her donate the entire $50,000 to the cat shelter. I mean, hello? are we just, and so stupid.
Starting point is 02:03:58 He'd be on an island if he won that $50,000. No charity. She loves cats. She volunteers at Ferdell Cat Shelter. She decided to enter a national essay contest to write about her experience with the cats. She won and donated it all. I bet her parents are pretty proud of that. Pretty proud.
Starting point is 02:04:12 They're like, hello, we got a mortgage to pay, girl. Like, why do you? I would imagine their parents have money. They would have money. Yeah. Donating $50,000. Yes. Lunchbox, think about it.
Starting point is 02:04:22 If not, even, I mean, good for her. No, no, no, if they don't, I mean, come on, guys, that is... I think if you have money, you do it, it's your money. You earned it. Even if you're 12 years old? Yes. Wow. Yeah, 12 years old aren't.
Starting point is 02:04:34 That's where it's tricky. Yeah, that's tough. I'm meaning in general, people always like to tell people what to do with their money. Right, that's true. And lunchbox gets so annoyed when people tell people what to do with their money, but when it comes like, it's like, no. She should have. I mean, she could have bought herself a new bike. When she turned 16, she could have the nicest car in the parking lot at school.
Starting point is 02:04:52 I mean, she could have a boat. I mean, she could have so many things. Put a hot tub in the backyard. I mean, there's so many options. But she donated all 50,000. Oh. Hey, thank you guys. Lunchbox, thank you for that story.
Starting point is 02:05:04 Always a positive influence. Always. She's going to hate herself in 10 years. Actually, she'll probably be quite successful and fine. It sounds. I think so, too. Amy, what's your money-saving tip where you saved a few bucks this month?
Starting point is 02:05:19 Oh, I went into my apps and found multiple apps that I was paying monthly subscriptions to that I didn't even realize. And apps I hadn't used in over a year. So that means for a year I was paying a monthly payment. And I added it up and saved about $20. So if I'm on my phone, I have it right now. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:05:38 I go to settings. Actually, I did it in my Apple. Do you have your Apple Plus app? I don't know that. Okay. It's like in my iTunes. Like you could, everybody's system might be different, but I found it in my Apple store.
Starting point is 02:05:52 Okay. And I went through. and it had all my subscriptions and it was really easy. I just had to hit cancel subscription, cancel, and I was like, what is this app? What app I was paying $5.99 or something a month?
Starting point is 02:06:04 And I think probably when I signed up for the app, they got me and I thought it was a one-time payment of $5.99.
