The Bobby Bones, post show, pre-show.
That show you hate called The Boys
on Amazon? Yeah. I loved
it, but Amy hates it. It's coming
back September 4th, and they're not loading it
all up at once. You know, and
I'm back around to where I'd rather have that happen.
I just want an episode a week now.
Cool.
Just look forward to it.
Because I've been something in about three days,
and then it doesn't exist for two years for me,
and I forget about it.
Yeah.
I kind of, as annoying as it is,
maybe you put out a couple at a time.
You know, I like how the last dance did it.
Every week, they put out two episodes.
For two, yes, right.
You have to watch them then.
Watch them on demand.
Watch them in whatever you want.
I like that.
Because then it existed inside of me for like two months.
That happened to me with Stranger Things.
you know, after like two and three came out,
I forgot what one and two were about,
so I was like, I'm really not interested anymore, kind of.
I never watched three because it had been so long
because I'd watched them all at once, and I really enjoyed it.
Yeah.
But I did it all in like three days, and so, yeah.
So now I'm kind of on the, let's put them out every week,
the old school way.
You still like to binge them?
Yeah, I do.
I like to build up, even if they're not available.
I try to create a binge.
Yeah, just asking an opinion.
How's the house coming?
It's good.
I feel like things are, I got stuff hung on the walls, which definitely makes it feel like home.
I got the boxes cleared out of the garage, which makes it feel like the moving part is over, totally unpacked.
There's not a box that's not unpacked, but just things aren't put away now.
I'm trying to be very calculated and intentional on where I put them, so I don't just throw them somewhere.
And then a few months from now, I'll be like, why didn't I just organize from the beginning?
So that's where I'm at.
there's just so much crap too that you didn't throw it in shelves and yeah like i'll get to that later
and then you don't and then when you move you're like oh i got a bunch of crap i never got to later
and so you can throw it into another shelf and get to that later and have it double up on you or you can
try to get rid of stuff i found stuff from our move just from north carolina which was like three
moves ago from a bag that like we never opened it up to address it so i just straight up through the
whole thing away. Once I realized I had not, I didn't even really know what it was. I was like,
well, I clearly don't need this in my life. Goodbye. Yeah. So are you all the pack rat type or just
throw everything away if you don't need it? Or give it to goodwill. Oh yeah. That one. Get rid of it.
Yep. If I see something and I haven't used it in six months. That is six months. That's your rule.
Well, no. I mean, and I just start to, if I see something and I'm like, I wonder if I would wear that.
I go, well, have I? Yeah. And if the answer is no, I think, well, somebody can use it though.
Because I'm not going to use it.
You know, another one of my problems is that if I get a nice shirt or something,
I'll never wear it because I'm like, I don't want to, I don't wear a nice, it's too nice.
I need to find a nicer situation for this shirt.
So then it never gets worn because I don't want to wear something super nice.
And I think that's just from being young and having like two nice shirts.
We're extremely poor and I'd save up to buy a shirt.
And I'd be like, I'm not ready for this yet.
It needs to be.
But now I have nice shirts, but I never wear them.
I even have T-shirts that are nice.
I'm like, I don't know wear that one yet.
because I'm afraid, oh, there may be something nice I need to save it for.
So then stuff never gets worn, and then it's a year later and crap never got worn.
Because I'm like, I don't wear the nice shirt.
This is a nice enough event.
So I do that a lot, too.
So in a way, that's kind of the opposite of what I'm saying.
But if I'm throwing stuff out, I'd be like, if I worn this, no.
Do I see me wearing it soon?
No.
Why am I saving it?
Well, yeah, but somebody else could probably wear it.
By the way, you can probably kind of my house and ready in my closet, Eddie, if you want.
Okay.
I'll go.
I'll go today.
well let's wait it on today so i just get to go in there and pick whatever i want is like what you're
saying i could probably pull some stuff cool man and then you can how about that yeah today yeah i
love that i love rating bobby's closet because most of stuff hasn't been worn over once or twice and a
lot of clothes just from doing american idol they're like here here's a whole bunch of clothes and i don't
wear and this year had a ton of clothes and then the show didn't even happen except for my house and any
pants they bought me didn't get worn because i never wore pants on that show and i never wore pants on that show and
because we were shooting from home.
And mostly it was nipples up, baby,
because I was shooting on my computer.
So, yeah, so there's probably a lot of pants.
Well, the only bad thing that happens is, like,
some of my friends listen to the show.
So whenever I, like, meet him out somewhere,
and they're like, ooh, nice jacket.
That's Bobby's, isn't it?
I'm like, no, well, I can't just be my jacket.
And they're like, yeah, it is bobbies.
Oh, but it was?
It always is, because if it's not a t-shirt.
What friends are you going out with, by the way?
Not recently, but the last time.
Eddie, it's like he's man about town.
Okay.
Where?
I got a few friends, but it was like, you know, a few months ago before Corona when we would go out to eat or go to birthday parties or whatever and people would say like they would listen to the show.
And sure enough, like, because if I'm not wearing a t-shirt and I'm wearing something nice, it's probably not mine.
Wait, there's a life before Corona.
I know.
It was a long time ago.
I don't remember that at all.
All right.
Amy, anything you want to say?
No.
No.
All right.
You?
No, I'm good.
I'm out.
I'm done.
Ray and Lunchbox aren't here.
You'll hear about that in the first segment of the show.
Eddie, anything you want to say?
No, man.
Good.
Are we playing basketball today?
I don't think so.
Cool.
Everybody that wanted to play
wanted to play way earlier than I could play.
Okay, cool, that's cool.
I needed to play late in the evening.
But what's...
Okay, so...
But you can come over and play Madden or something
if you're already coming over.
Well, you hit me up with the game that you guys play,
like, you don't play real basketball, you do like a shooting game.
Yeah, it was like horse or something?
We'll play knockout.
Rockout, that's it.
You know how knockout works?
I've played it with my son a few times.
You can't play with just two people.
Yeah.
No, he said that he does it at school.
so you try to teach me, and I was like, this is boring.
Maybe because it's too people.
It's the one where, like, if I remember correctly,
it's hard to play with two, three is like minimally
where everybody can kind of get a good game going.
So it's like, I have the ball, I'm at the front.
I shoot.
If I miss it, and the person behind me shoots
and makes it before I go back and rebound and put it in, I'm out.
But you get a big line going.
Sometimes we'll play five or six people.
And you're not exhausted, right?
It's not like a...
You run a decent amount, but you don't get hurt.
Yeah, you run a little bit, Eddie.
Okay, well, because when we,
Last time we played and we did...
If you miss it, you have to get your own rebound and put it back up.
Yeah.
Last time we did, what, two on two?
At the Y.
That was rough.
Soar for like two weeks later.
Well, you're not playing against anybody.
You're just playing against yourself and trying to get your own rebound.
Yeah, but if I'm fine, I can't wait.
I'm looking forward to it.
Scuba's birthdays today.
Have birthday, dude.
Thanks, man.
I appreciate it.
He's in the running raised spot because raised...
How many years?
Mid-30s.
Okay, so 35?
How old are you?
Turning 34.
That's it?
Yeah, that's it.
Really?
You're so much more mature than that.
Everyone thought he was a lot older.
Yeah, I've looked at the beard and...
I think the beard and...
No offense, the bald head.
Okay, yeah, I can see that.
It does make me look older.
And I've been working since I was like 10, 11 years old, so...
When did you start losing your hair?
I think it was starting to fade back around 18.
And then 21, 22, it was just...
It was gone.
Wow, that young.
Yeah.
So have you always had your head shaved?
No, I for some reason, was rocking the bald look in my early.
20s and then I started dating a girl and she's like, you should just shave it off.
It would look better.
And then I started shaving around mid-20s and then kept the bald of her sense.
You got a good bald head though.
Lucky you.
I know.
That's the one thing I was worried about that and I shaved it and looked great.
Yeah.
What are you going to do with this beard?
I've already trimmed it a little bit.
I kind of want to shave it off.
I'm over it.
My wife's over it.
My kid's pulling at it now.
So that's kind of getting annoying.
So I'm cool with just taking it off.
All the way?
Lopping it off.
I don't even know what you look like without a big beard.
I look like an alien because I'm just all bald all.
around. What if he has a
great bald head, but a terrible chin?
I haven't seen it in about a year and a half, so I could have a double chin right now.
Because you haven't worked with us without the beard.
I've always had the long beard, yeah, with you guys.
Could you just have a short beard?
No, no, no, no. Let's let it rip, baby.
Check it off. I want to see that chin.
Yeah. Okay.
Give me another month so I can do some cardio and working out to maybe lose the double chin.
Baby, we need chin.
Maybe, okay, all right. Let's do end of July. I'll give you chin.
Dang.
Sounds dirty
Some of that chin
Yeah
Scuba
You have a big truck
Yeah
It's a truck I've always wanted
I was walking out
Earlier in the garage
And I was with our security guy
And I was like
Hey whose truck is that
And he was like
That scuba is I was like
Good God is huge
Yeah, big truck
Not too high
It's just a thick truck
The truck is really big
How long you had that truck
When we sold our house in California
Oh, you had it in California?
No, no, I'm thinking about the timeline.
I think I got it end of December.
Last Wednesday.
Yeah.
So you got it before you moved here?
No, I got it right, because we closed in our house in California
and I got that exchange of extra cash,
and so I was able to purchase it at the end of December.
What were you driving before the big truck?
Toyota Prius, the exact opposite.
So I've been driving that.
You went size opposite and environmentally footprint opposite.
You're like all this footprint I've been saving with,
F it.
Yes.
Or is this an electric truck?
No, it's full gas.
But gas is affordable now, so I can handle it.
But if it doesn't, I still have the Prius in the garage.
I can go back to that.
Wow.
And you can put the Prius in the...
In the truck.
The tailgate.
I could.
Carry it around.
He's got a monster truck out there.
Is it hard to park?
Because I'm not a good parker anyway.
It's so hard to park in places?
No, I've always driven SUVs and trucks as a kid growing up in Florida.
So I'm okay with it.
I'm good.
Could you park down the compact spot if you needed to?
I could.
And living in San Francisco, I had to do a lot of parallel parking up and down hills.
So I'm pretty good and skilled at driving in general.
So I could do it, yeah.
Do you see this drug?
Mm-hmm.
That's pretty big.
Yeah.
Did you see your parking job this morning?
Is it bad?
It's funny.
Who me?
No, Bobby.
Oh.
I'm not a good parker.
I just said that before you bought the stuff.
I know he's never been a good parker.
It's funny.
Your spot is like straight.
Like, you don't even have to turn anywhere.
You literally can go in the garage door straight into your spot.
I don't understand.
You pick that spot on purpose.
I think.
I know he did, so that way it's the easiest place for the park.
There are no turns required.
He really just like straight in.
And I didn't park good?
Well, you just didn't park all the way up.
Like you're sticking out.
You're like not.
Oh, so I'm straight, Eddie.
Yeah.
Okay.
Well, sometimes you're in my lane because I like to park next to you.
That one close to the door is my spot.
It's just funny.
That's not, though.
You'll notice it.
But it is.
Other people park there.
If they get there before, if they get there before me, but most of time they don't, that's my spot.
I'll check it out when I go out there.
It's cute.
All right, thank you.
All right, thank you.
Here's today's show.
Thank you, folks.
Thank friends.
Here's today.

Hey guys, welcome to Monday show.
Morning, studio.
Morning.
Well, let me start by saying that lunchbox nor Ray are here today.
They did not get back in time.
last night. So I don't know what they're playing
is. I think now they're coming in today from Las Vegas.
Ray's Bachelor party
was this weekend. They all went.
Look like it was fun.
But they didn't get back in time last
night. I don't know what happened.
And you know, I don't care. We're going to do the show.
Yeah, yeah, we're going to move on.
But hey, lunchbox won't be in the room with us, right? Scoo and Steve?
No, no, no. No, I'm constructing a studio
after the show today in the side area over there for him.
So he won't be nowhere near us.
He was running pretty hard
And in the casinos and so he's going to work
But he's going to be quarantined off
Is he getting a
Corona test on the air
Or we're just making him get one or what?
He's getting one regardless because of his family
He wants to make sure that he's okay for them
Okay
Yeah
All right so but he is getting one
He is correct yeah
Nice
Okay well they're not here
I'm not even going to be frustrated
That they're not at work
Listen to my voice
Yeah yeah no you don't sound frustrated
Not at all
Okay here is a voicemail
we got from somebody yesterday.
Yes, hi. I'm a dinosaur. I don't have Instagram. I was just wanting to know if Ray won or not
on the red. I didn't, wasn't able to watch Instagram and didn't hear on your show if you
won or not. Thank you.
On Thursday night at 9.30 p.m. They went live on Instagram. I was watching and Ray put his
money all on red and Rup didn't win. Lost. It was on black. Yeah.
Oh, yeah. That 20 black. It landed.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. And so I have another clip here at Scoobber.
What's this other club that I have?
This is the live video where Lunchbox is doing the commentating of it.
Okay, go ahead.
Let's go Red.
Let's go Red.
Here we go.
Black 20.
Oh, my God.
Oh, my God.
Oh, my God.
That was devastating.
Oh, my God.
So he didn't win.
Now, a lot of people are upset with Lunchbox because he bet on Black while Ray bet Red.
Yeah, yeah.
You don't do that.
Oh.
Bad Juju.
I didn't know he did that.
Yes.
He made like five.
Oh, that jinxes it.
Yes.
I don't even believe in that, but it does.
Should I just let Ray have his moment.
But lunchbox is putting all these bets on black at the same time.
So he won.
I think so.
Well, that's a real want-w-want.
I didn't know that.
Yeah.
Glad you told me.
Did you say, why did I tell you?
No, I said, I'm glad you told me.
Now I know how to address it with him when I see him next.
Why do you think that's not good?
It's not cool because it was, like, you gave Ray, $250 to put on red.
We needed all the red mojo we could get.
and then he's as part of that crew
started betting on black.
You didn't do that.
That's like not believing
in the fact that it's going to land on the red
because I was at home believing
it was going to land on red
and now I know why it didn't.
And you also don't bet against your boy.
Right.
In his one moment,
they're even building up.
Right.
Wow, that's why it went on,
that's why I was black.
That would be why, Amy.
Yeah, that's why.
What did you think about that, Eddie?
Yeah, same thing.
I mean, it's not cool.
That's Ray's moment.
It's his bachelor party.
It was the first role of the,
the weekend.
Like, that was going to be the first
bet of the weekend.
He doubles it.
He takes 500 and just parties.
And then they lost it
because his friend bet black.
Mm-hmm.
Coming from the Bass Pro Shops
and Cabella Studio on Music Row.
It's the Bobby Bone show.
Man, July 4th this weekend.
Crazy.
I love it.
Most people would get off.
Do most people get off Fridays
if it's July 3rd?
Like, what do we think?
I think so.
Well, yeah, because then
you would normally have the fourth off, so yes.
You think the third is like a universal holiday for most folks?
I'm going to be honest, it is for us.
Yeah.
But do you think most jobs celebrate the third?
If not, I'm going to tell you this right now.
They ain't working hard.
If you got people coming into your job and they're working on third,
they ain't going to work that hard because they're just looking.
That's like the Monday after Super Bowl?
It's like the Friday or the Wednesday before Thanksgiving.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
So, all right, so good news.
Got a holiday this weekend.
Everybody be safe out there.
And now time for the good news countdown.
It's the good news countdown.
Counting down the biggest good news stories across the land.
All right, here we go.
Let's start with...
Number five.
A family in Chesterland, Ohio, put the word of unity on their mailbox and filled it with inspirational
and kind messages.
People are encouraged to take a message and also leave a message.
The response has been a pleasant surprise.
Tons of people are stopping by to take and leave notes.
I love that.
I thought that was pretty cool.
Number four.
After both of his parents got the virus, a 15-year-old created a wristband that senses when you're about to touch your face and stops you from doing it.
It's called Vibe Pro. Again, he's 15 years old.
And he's raising money on Kickstarter. So far, he's raised $15,000.
Isn't that crazy? It took a kid to come up with that idea. There you go.
Number three.
A woman in Washington State used her stimulus check to make hundreds of lasagna's for people.
She's made over 1,200 in the last 3 months using her grandmother's recipe, people that are going through all kinds of stuff.
Older folks who don't want to leave and get food, people that are going through tough times, and people that are just hungry.
So I thought that was pretty cool.
Number two.
More and more retirement homes are installing hug tunnels with plastic sheets in the middle so people can hug their family members.
Made of thick plastic sheeting, the hug tunnel has armholes for visitors and residents.
They can wrap their arms around the person standing on the other side.
My question for you is Amy.
your dad is in an assisted living facility.
Yeah, so far I've heard nothing about a hug tunnel going in.
No hug tunnel construction happened over there?
But I hope so.
Man, yeah, that would be so nice.
You have to watch the hands, though, too, right?
It's almost like you need those fake arms built in, like the bubbles.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So that's number two.
Number one.
A seven-year-old kid in Brooklyn who loves to read heard that other kids were missing story time at school.
So we started a Facebook group called Brian's Book Corner.
where he just reads the kids online.
Over a thousand people have joined.
He just reads them books.
I thought that's pretty cool.
Oh, I've just been shown the hug tunnel.
Plastic arms are also built into it.
Oh, it's perfect.
So it's not just arm holes.
There are plastic arms in it that you can hug some more.
Love that.
I mean, I don't know why you can do that with your dad.
What am I going to build it myself?
I would imagine, can't you just wear a big plastic bag?
I mean, forget the hug tunnel.
Listen, I was just with my dad yesterday, or I guess,
no, Saturday.
He can't, poor guy, like he can't.
They don't even let him walk outside with me.
I'm like, why can't you come outside and we stay six feet apart?
And it'd be totally fine.
But you could break him free, like jailbreak if you wanted to, right?
Yeah, but I don't want to get him in trouble.
He made up a good point.
He said, well, he's like, we can sit here and kind of complain about that,
or we can think about the fact that no resident here has gotten sick.
An employee did, but no resident.
Yeah.
So he said they're doing something right.
Okay.
So he's trying to respect that.
My point is you could just move him to your house.
Then I would have to really change how I live life.
Like, even coming, like different things that I kind of do, even though I'm being careful.
I would have to shut it down.
Yeah, leave them in there.
You didn't in there.
Because you wouldn't come in anymore.
Yeah.
I mean, it would change how, I mean, with my kids and husband, like everything we do.
We'd have to be super.
You'd leave them all?
What?
You'd leave your kids and your husband?
No.
With your dad?
That's sweet.
There you go.
Shut it down.
That's the good news count down.
News countdown.
No, I get what you're saying.
Bobby Bone.
Coming from the Bass Pro Shops and Cabella Studio on Music Row, it's the Bobby Bone show.
So I may have mentioned Scoobus Dior, executive producer, called me about a week ago and goes, hey, man, bad news.
And I'm like, oh, man, what did I do?
Like, why did I get in trouble?
What did I do this time?
And I was like, what happened?
So somebody in the building got COVID.
And so they've taken parts of the building, they put sign, do not inner signs.
I guess they've been cleaning stuff up.
And I was like, oh, that numbers game.
I figured eventually somebody around here would get it.
And he's like, you're cool?
I was like, yeah, because we keep our door locked, everything in our room.
We have our own space.
So he's like, cool, cool, cool.
The weird thing was I came to work, and I mentioned I went to the women's bathroom
because they had the men's bathroom shut down.
It was amazing.
Like, everything I've ever thought about how nice you guys would keep it and all the accessories.
It was just a man.
And so I was pretty excited because on Friday, I was just going to go back in.
And what I do is open.
I go, anybody in here?
And nobody's ever in there because it's just like two stalls.
And I didn't see anybody go in.
So I lean, I go, anybody in here?
And Amy goes, I am!
And I was like, oh, crap.
And so I backed out and I said, oh, I said, Amy's in the bathroom,
just to any other guy who's going to go in there.
Don't go in there.
And Scooby goes, hey, the guy bathroom's open now.
And I was like, oh, I don't even look.
You're just going to keep going on.
Yeah, they had a couch.
They had all the good smelling stuff.
So I thought that the men's bathroom is still shut down.
It is not.
But I think other guys think it's still shut down too.
Yeah, because what I know.
noticed after men started to use it for a day or two, the toilet seats were left up and there
was pee still in, like they didn't flush. So I'm like, is this how y'all live? Yeah, the toilet
seat up thing sounds about right. You like it was only feet. And then you didn't flush? Yeah.
Don't say you like it's me. Not you. At least look at Eddie. You, the man. You are the only one
that clearly said that's been in there. Yeah, but everybody had to go in there for a while.
No, there's other people.
Was there pee on the floor?
It just wasn't.
I didn't really notice that, but pee on the seat.
I'm sure there was that I noticed more.
But like, I don't want to, and then I don't want to have to pick up after guys in our bathroom because we keep it tidy.
It was just annoying.
So I'm glad y'all's is fixed.
Well, I never even, I didn't want to go back to it even look because it's like, do not enter.
I was like, you got it, dude.
I ain't trying to hop in that place.
If COVID's been in there peeing, I don't want to go in there pee.
But yeah, I think we should just have.
have, like once a month we get
a pass to go on the women's bathroom. Oh, okay.
It's like your treat. Like if we, like employee of the
month. Yeah, employee of the month gets to go
use a woman's bathroom too. That's what I think.
All right, but, uh, no longer.
I think if we made our bathroom look like
the years, it would last about a week before we just destroyed. Oh,
for sure, yes. Somehow, somebody would pee on the couch.
You know if we had a couch like they do. And we don't,
and it's not even near a toilet. What's wrong with y'all?
Exactly. That's my point. A bunch of animals.
Bobby Bones show.
Bonehead.
Norry up the day.
Lunchbox is in Las Vegas, so Eddie is taking the bonehead today.
Hey, Eddie.
Hey, what's up, man?
Here you go.
Keith, he was in the hospital for a few days.
He finishes his treatment.
He gets out.
And he's standing in front of the hospital and he thinks, well, I don't really have a ride home.
But look, there's an ambulance just pulled up with a patient.
Stop it.
They take the patient in the emergency room.
And he's like, there's no one in that ambulance.
He jumps in it, takes it for a joy ride.
He gets through two counties before cops can pull him over and get him and arrest him.
Of course, it's a felony.
So he's arrested for theft.
But he never went home.
No, he didn't.
He went two counties.
Did he change his mind and go, you know, screw home?
I'm just taking this baby.
I think when he saw the siren button, he was like, all right, I'm not going home.
See how long this can take me.
Yolo.
Yeah, exactly.
All right, there you go.
That's your bonnet story of the day.
The latest from Nashville and Hollywood.
Morgan No. 2nd.
Skinny.

One way I try to be light for people is really just to lead by example.
Whether it's just posting something positive on Instagram about my wife or about my family
or being a light through music, I really take pride in the way that I like to put positive

Maddie and Taze Maddie Marlowe shared the valuable advice she got from her mom.
Life, you have to figure out how you're...
you're going to deal with the curve balls that are thrown at you.
Are you going to catch them and whine about it?
Are you going to catch them and move on?
Like, you have to just go with what's thrown at you.
I'm Morgan number two.
That's your skinny.

two different days. Nice. I go and I go and I went to a town called Mount Juliet, not half an hour
out where we are now and we go and play golf and there's a Sonic and I love getting me a little
small cherry lime made and so I stopped and I was like I'm going to give me a little ice cream cone too.
and if I say little it just doesn't feel like
that many calories. So I was like, hey, I push
the button. Let me get an ice cream cone that said the,
oh, the ice cream cones,
we don't have any. I was like, well, we have chocolate waffle cones.
And I was like, okay, don't mind if I do it.
Sounds okay. That's all you have. You twisted my arm.
But these waffle cones
are made of chocolate at Sonic. I didn't know
about this. This is like some secret code
to get a different level.
And so they bring them and I had it. It was great.
And so the next day, I was like,
man we should go to Sonic
and so Kaylin I went to Sonic and I got another chocolate waffle cone
because now I know I ask about it
and Sonic to me has the best soft serve
ice cream. They're
different flavors and different places that are great but as far
soft serve comes Sonic's the best
so we did that
watch the show on Netflix called
The Short Game and it's
about golfers 8 years old and younger
playing in a tournament. It's like a documentary
cute name really good
and they are really good
it was really good and they're really good
They're seven years old, and they're just crushing it.
They're from all over the world, too.
And, you know, there are a few American kids.
They follow eight kids.
So you don't have to like golf to watch this documentary,
but it's kids that are in this big golf tournament.
So I did that.
I played with the dog a lot, but it had a pretty good weekend.
The score on the short game is 85% Rotten Tomatoes.
Wow.
It's like an hour and a half, hour and 40-minute documentary.
Did you watch the gymnastics documentary?
Yeah, it's called Athlete Day.
And it's, it's, I'm,
It's interesting, but also sad because of what went on and what was happening to these gymnasts for since the 90s.
The U.S. gymnastics doctor, that's what it is about.
And so athlete A is, it's called that because the first, one of the first athletes that really came forward, she was a Jane Doe.
She didn't want to be identified because these are kids.
But famous because they're on the Olympic gymnastics team for the United States.
and so she but now you know who athlete day is and she's a big part of it and her parents are part of the documentary
but so are a lot of other gymnasts and I can't believe that he was able to get away with
abusing these girls for years and years and years and years and none of them would talk about it
it just for me as a parent reminded me like I need to talk to my kids and to all parents listening
and not in a scary way like just a real matter-of-fact way like if somebody touches you here
it's not okay Larry Nasser was his name right
Dr. Larry Nasser.
And yeah, and these girls, they were so young.
And gymnastics in general, you kind of learned that there was a lot of abuse going on with them mentally and physically, too.
Like with their weight and you're fat and you can't eat that and this and that.
You have to work all these hours in a day and you're a kid.
And then they would go to him and he would sneak them food and groom them in a sense and be nice to them.
And then he would work this abuse into his adjustments.
and they would think, oh, this is, I guess, normal, and it's not normal.
Morgan, do you watch it?
Yeah, I watched it.
My sister and I did gymnastics growing up, and she actually went to Kroly camp where a lot of things
happened.
That camp in Texas?
Yes.
Oh, whoa, that's crazy.
So did you like the documentary?
Yeah, it was really good, but as a gymnast growing up, you're taught to really admire the
Kroli family, and there's just a lot that comes out that you would have never known if you
didn't watch this documentary.
I agree.
Dang, that sounds hardcore.
It's hardcore. It's heavy.
That's why I struggle with saying it's good, but I'm proud of these girls for being brave and sharing their stories.
Well, Mike, watch something too.
Mike, our writer, not near as heavy.
It was the floor is lava.
Have you guys seen that game show on Netflix?
Would you say it's a game show?
Yeah, it's a game show.
It's the number one show right now, isn't it?
Yeah, it's good.
So I know what the floor, I know the game.
Explain it to me.
So it's an obstacle course where they have to get from one side of the room to the other,
and there's like, it's basically like hot water,
but they have to like not fall into it.
So they're like jumping over things
and crawling over things.
It's pretty fun.
But they don't get hurt if they know.
It's not real long, but it's just really the floor.
Well, it's hot water, but how hot.
Right, right.
Is it boiling hot?
They say it's hot, but it's probably not that hot.
And so it's like wipeout kind of?
It's kind of like wipeout and like double dare
those kind of shows back in the day.
I think that's why I like it so much.
That's cool.
How long are the episodes?
There's 30 minutes.
And you like it.
It's fun.
I did see it trending as a big show on Netflix.
Yeah, to turn your brain off and watch something for it's good.
Good for kids?
Yeah.
No cursing?
No.
Cool.
Oh, my kids will love that.
How long has it been the number one show, do you know?
For like the entire week, so like seven days in a row it's been number one.
Do you know the record for the longest?
I believe it's Tiger King and that was like for three weeks that it was number one.
Wow, that long.
And this is now like falling up on it.
The floor is lava.
Yeah.
I'll check it out.
You know, how do you turn your mind off?
Because I go right to the PlayStation.
Yeah.
Now that's my thing.
If I'm like, all right, having a tough day or I just got a lot going on and I'm trying to,
I'm just like, all right, time to play game at NBA 2K and shut it down.
What do you do?
Well, I haven't had a bathtub in years.
My new house has a bathtub.
So this weekend, I shut it off twice and I took a bath with like, read a one time I read a book,
another time I was watching some of Athlete Day.
So it's turning something on.
Those will probably a little too heavy for relax time.
But yeah, real housewives, I shut it down with that.
Coming from the Bass Pro Shops and Cabella Studio on Music Row, we are the Bobby Bone Show.
That's right.
We talk a lot about food on this show.
Morgan loves food so much.
She asks for a segment, and here it is.
It's time for Food World.
Num, Num, Num, with Morgan number two.
I have two new drinks that are coming out for the summer that are really special.
Okay.
Chick-fil-A is dropping a mango passion tea lemonade.
A lot of words.
There's a lot of things in that.
There's the mango.
And then the passion.
But then it's a tea and a lemonade.
Is it mango passion fruit?
What does that mean?
Nope, it's mango passion tea lemonade.
It's a mixture of their lemonade,
their unsweetened iced tea, and mango syrup.
And you can even get it as a diet.
And then make it passionately.
All right, what's the other one?
And Sonic is dropping a lemonberry slush float
in its frozen lemonade slush,
ice cream, and real strawberries to top it off.
That sounds good.
I had a small limbery slush.
I forgot to mention that earlier.
Well, on top of the ice cream cone?
Yeah, don't judge me.
Okay.
It's hot.
I always feel like even if I'm outside for a long time that I worked out just because I'm sweaty.
Even if I didn't.
You guys have that?
Yeah, I do that all the time.
I'm like, oh, I'm just tired and the sun beat me down.
I deserve something.
I deserve a slush.
I don't deserve crap.
I'm just out in the heat.
All right.
That's Food World.
Morgan, thank you very much.
Yeah.
That was Food World with Morgan number two.
Num, num, num, num, num.
A guy jumped into something at a store he wasn't supposed to jump into.
And when I tell you about it, I think you'll laugh.
And then I'll also share a very unpopular opinion that I have.
It has to do with food that's coming up next.
Coming from the Bass Pro Shops and Cabela Studio on Music Row, we are the Bobby Bone Show.
That's right.
Speaking of Bass Pro shops, Louisiana police say they're trying to find a guy who, if you go into Bass Pro, there's always a big old aquarium in there.
A guy jumped in and wanted to swim.
Oh, my gosh.
And then he ran out of the store.
Was it in Lunchbox?
I don't think so because they're in Vegas right now.
but according to Boja City authorities,
a complaint was filed
after the business determined
that there will be costs associated
with emptying and cleaning
the 13,000 gallon aquarium.
Which, what they do is they have fish
that are local to each area.
Yeah.
So they have to find the fish,
they bring them in,
they kind of stock it up,
go and buy your gear-based,
but a guy jumped in.
Shows a man swimming in the tank,
climbing out of it,
and then sprinting out of the store.
For sure, this had to be for a TikTok
or a bet, right?
We just got to find it at this point.
Yeah.
but yeah, can you imagine you're in there, you know, trying to find some lures and there's some...
Guy swimming.
Yeah, Larry is in the tank swimming.
I have an unpopular opinion I'd like to share with everyone.
And I imagine most of you will disagree with me.
That's why it's an unpopular opinion.
I got it.
So I was thinking about this because I thought I was eating fresh tomatoes the other day.
I thought I...
Because there were fresh garden tomatoes and there's this kind of grab at the store who knows where they came from.
and I was eating some fresh ones.
Turns out they were just ones from the store.
Couldn't tell the difference, right?
So then I started going, you know what?
I can't tell the difference and stuff.
Somebody just grows in their garden
and something I just buy from, you know, food for less
or whatever the local, pigly-wiggly.
And so my unpopular opinion is that vegetables you get
from the grocery store that have been driven in a truck are just as good
as the ones you grew in your garden.
You wouldn't know the difference unless you knew the difference.
Unpopular opinion.
And I wouldn't have had it prompted within me
except I was experiencing it.
What do you think about that?
I feel like you can...
Yeah, you're right.
Thank you.
Maybe you can't tell.
But I feel like once I know, it just tastes better to me.
So it's got a, it's a placebo effect, I guess.
It's like something about it.
It is juicier, though.
Only because you think it is because I was rocking on these tomatoes,
which might even have been from 7-Eleven.
I'll be honest with you.
Because I'm not above stopping at a gas station to get vegetables.
And so I was eating at,
I was like, man, he's a good.
Yeah, I'm glad they grew up.
And then I was like, oh, no, these are the ones we bought from the store.
And that, bing!
I was like, it's like people that drink expensive wine.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
You just tell them it's expensive.
Like, oh, Pierre, I didn't know this.
Pierre.
Yeah, people, it's all a placebo.
Unpopular opinion.
The vegetables you get from the store taste just as good as one you grow in your garden in the backyard.
Thank you very much.
If you'd like to share your unpopular opinion, it doesn't have to be that.
Or you can even disagree with that.
877.
Bobby, call leave a voicemail on your unpopular opinion.
877, 77 Bobby.
Anything come to mind with you?
I realized this weekend, like, I don't like Doritos.
Really?
Wow, that's unpopular.
Like, you don't like them.
I don't, I, Doritos are overrated to me.
Oh, easy.
I had some people working at the house.
So we picked up lunch and it came with like a bunch of different chips.
And so for the first time in a while, I opened up a bag of Doritos.
thinking, oh, this is going to be amazing.
You wait them all?
No, they weren't amazing.
And I was like, Doritos are real.
I would not choose Doritos as my first chip anymore.
And I feel like a lot of people would.
I would choose Doritos.
If we're talking, it doesn't matter the calories.
Right.
None of that matters.
Man, Doritos are up there.
Yeah, not just as far as the number one Doritos.
I know.
I'm over it now.
Pringles, if you're eating a sandwich.
Like, if I'm eating a white bread sandwich with heavy mustard, pringles.
It's like a wine.
You know how they pair wines up?
food.
Like, I have chips based on the kind of sandwich I'm eating.
Okay, so what do you eat if you're eating, like, a hamburger, what kind of chips do on?
Oh, Doritos.
Yeah.
What?
Like, beef is Doritos.
That's the pairing for that.
Interesting.
And if it's, like, a bologna or turkey on white bread, that's a pringle.
Interesting.
Did Cheetos ever come in?
Sometimes, but that's only if you can't get a Dorito.
Okay.
Yeah, and so to Funnions, but funnions are for, like, anything that's not beef or a sandwich, like any other, a funnion will go with that.
So like a chicken sandwich,
I can match a funnian up with a chicken sandwich and be completely content.
Hey, speaking of food, Eddie brought me a bunch of ribs yesterday.
Yeah.
Just because?
Well, because he smoked a bunch of them.
Right.
No, I smoked a bunch of ribs.
And Bobby and Caitlin brought me dinner like a couple weeks back.
So I was like, I need to repay the favor and get you guys some dinner.
We did a couple times, didn't we?
Oh, so you owe him more ribs.
Because we got, we made you a cake, a treas lechise cake.
Lasagna, oh, okay, lasagna one, and then dessert.
The dessert the other. Okay, so dessert's next.
Okay.
It's coming at you, bud.
I say we like I made anything.
But we are now we.
Oh, you're a team.
Yes.
Correct.
That's his is hers.
What's hers is his.
Yeah.
I'll have my wife bake you a cake then.
All right.
All right.
Thank you guys for hanging out.
Call.
Anybody else have an unpopular opinion, by the way?
Oh, I have one.
Go ahead.
But you guys know it.
No kids should have a smartphone until they're 18.
Period.
Period.
Period.
They don't need it.
That's like the most unpopular thing ever.
18?
You're 16 and you can drive until you're driving and you're going to work but no phone.
You can have a car but you can't have a phone.
16, you should probably have a phone just in case you know you get stranded somewhere but not a smartphone.
Like a back phone.
At 16 you should have a quarter stop at a pay phone but that's about it.
Okay, see, I knew this was unpopular.

Coming from the Bass Pro Shops and Cabella Studio on Music Row, it's the Bobby Bone show.
Hey, we encourage you guys to reach out to us, 877-77 Bobby.
Here's a call here.
Hey, so what happened to the Spanish word of the day?
Thought it was educational, we were all learning something.
We would love Spanish word of the day to come back.
We can do that now.
If you ask for it, we'll give it to you.
The Spanish Word of the Day with our video producer, Eddie.
Here we go.
Come on.
All right, Glasse.
So here we go.
The Spanish word of the day is yuvia.
Now that means rain.
It's pretty complicated.
It's a good word.
Juvia.
Yes.
Now let me use that in a sentence, Bones.
Blue eyes crying in the uvia.
What do you got?
I have one.
Uvia makes corn.
Corn makes whiskey.
Amy?
That's what I had in my head.
Okay.
Bones, you got some CCR.
I know you do.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
I have one.
Like the UVIA
Always falling for you
And I know just why you
Like the UVIA
Just like the UVIA
Oh wait
You don't know that one?
Yeah just like the rain
I'm always falling for you
And I know just why you
Amy can sing the whole song I think
Now I know it's Clint Black
But at first I was like she's not singing on
What that was fun
How about
In the sweet November
Uvia
I want to know, have you ever seen the UVA?
Here we go.
When it rains and pours?
Yeah.
When it's UVIA?
All right.
Thank you.
All right.
That's your Spanish word of the day.
Nice.
Amy's pile of stories is coming up next.
Oh, I love a UVA night.
Is that Eddie Rabbit?
Amy, what do you have over there?
Well, I have kind of a tell me something good in here for a mom of the year.
I think you're going to love this story.
and then a TikTok prank that's kind of popular right now
I'm making people laugh.
I've seen fire and I've seen UVIA.
Oh, good one.
It's raining UVIA.
Oh, wow, wow, wow.
What about purple UVIA?
Purple UVIA.
Purple UVIA.
People are we going to remember this word now.
Of course, and it's a complicated word, so it's a good lesson.
How do you spell it?
A, L-L-L-U-V-I-A.
I don't spell like that, but thank you.
Of course not.
All right, there you go.
Back with Amy's Pile next.
Here's Amy's pile of stories.
So this woman in Illinois, Brenna, she found out she wasn't going to be able to have kids,
but her doctor said if you can find a surrogate, you can do it.
But surrogates run about $100,000 to have someone carry your baby and deliver for you.
So the doctor said, if you can find a family member or a friend that'll do it for you, that's the way to go.
Guess who volunteered to do it?
Her mom?
Her mom.
Wow.
So the grandma is carrying the grandbaby.
Wow, that's pretty crazy.
In her belly, and she's 51 years old.
Wait, the mom is?
The grandma.
Yeah.
The mom.
Oh, yeah, dang, I'm confused.
I know.
But, yeah, she's doing okay.
She's pregnant with her granddaughter, and the baby is due November 12th.
51's still a pretty solid age, though, meaning you're not too old even though you're considered a grandma.
Right.
Wow.
And she's not technically grandma yet.
She's going to have both her kid and her grand kid come out of, boo-hoo.
Yeah, and that kid will grow up to,
know that their grandma gave birth to them.
Yeah, wild story, man.
But also amazing and so cool.
It's great that she can do that for her daughter.
Yeah.
So there's a new trend on TikTok where people are pranking their partners by telling them.
I feel like you could have been nicer to me today.
And then they film their reaction.
People are really entertained by it because some of the guys are like, oh, yeah, no, I was nice to you today, but they're not really paying attention.
then others are really comforting.
That's what I'd been like.
I'd be like, oh, I probably could have.
You know what?
I'll really reflect and try to get them again tomorrow.
And they apologize.
And they say, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to be mean to you at all.
I wouldn't have apologized.
I'm just doing it to get out of it.
Yeah, yeah.
Mine's like, you know what?
Think about that.
Tomorrow I'm really going to do better.
And then I go back to a video game.
Others remind them, remember, I cuddled with you in bed.
But again, they don't know they're being filmed.
And they are.
And then some other guys are just like pretty matter of fact
and get to the point.
Like, I haven't even seen you today.
How did I mean to you?
Kalen did one of these on me, not this exact one, but sometimes she'll be funny.
I do pranks where she walks up and I'm on the phone.
And the prank is, while someone's on the phone talking, you just walk out my hand
of something completely weird and they'll just take it, not even knowing.
So I'm on the phone doing some kind of work call.
I'm like, yeah, I didn't do a conference call.
And she walks up hands to me a toaster and goes, here, hold this.
And so I'm holding the toaster still on the phone because I can't be like, why am I
going to hold a toaster?
You just accept that you probably should hold a toaster.
And so I'm sitting there holding the toaster.
That's funny.
Pretty funny.
It's a fun game.
What else, Sam?
Dan and Shea appeared on the Not Too Late Show with Elmo
to perform their rendition of the Sesame Street classic.
I don't want to live on the moon.
Here's the clip.
Well, I'd like to visit the moon
on a rocket ship high in the air.
Yes, I'd like to visit the moon,
but I don't think I'd like to live there.
Though I'd like to look down.
At the earth from above
I would miss all the places
And people I love
So although I might like it
For one afternoon
I don't want to live on the moon
I'd like to travel
Yeah
I didn't even look up to have the audio
Pull down because we'll do this little thing
When I'm like, oh go ahead
I could listen to this whole song
I honestly was waiting
I was like why isn't he cutting it off yet
Normally cuts it off by now
No because it's awesome
Okay well in case you want to watch
this show with your kids, the not too late show with Elmo. Each episode highlights different
parts of kids' bedtime routines. So it's a perfect way for kids and parents to unwind together
at the end of the day and prepare them for bed. What channel? HBO. Oh, it's the new HBO.
HBO Max. Hmm, interesting. That's why I subscribe. I know. Friends or nothing else, but I'm like,
Elmo's Late Show? Elmo's Late Show? I get on HBO Max. Is that Elmo decent or no?
It's actually pretty good.
It actually is good.
I do like two impressions and they all involve me doing that.
It's Mickey Mouse.
Oh, hey, it's me.
Oh, now they're getting confused.
Kermit the frog.
Well.
Oh, Kermitie frog here.
There we go.
Yeah, it's okay.
Pretty good.
Elmo like you when you come do that.
That's good, dude.
Thank you.
It's a good, Elmo.
It's a crossover, goofy.
Eddie does good.
We do a crossover.
Yeah.
Garsh.
I never met you before, goofy.
I know, Elmo.
All right.
I'm Amy. That's my pile.
That was Amy's pile of stories.
Over to Amy. Let's get in The Morning Corny.
The Morning Corny.
What is the gorilla's favorite cookie?
What's a gorilla's favorite cookie?
Chocolate chimp.
Oh, that's funny.
That was the Morning Corny.
Speaking of cookies, we're going to do the best desserts draft coming up in a second.
And Amy, you have the first pick.
Oh.
You want the first pick.
I know, but I never do well picking first.
And then, okay.
What are you leaning toward right now is your first pick in a minute?
The best dessert?
Yeah.
Ice cream.
I do love some ice cream.
Yeah, it's good.
Eddie, you leaning on churros?
Well, no.
But I'll write that down now.
Thank you.
All right, that's coming up in like the next 15 minutes.
You love churros.
I love churros, yes.
On the phone now is Jason in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
Hey, Jason, what's up, man?
Hey, I'm pretty good. How are you?
I'm pretty good. What are you up to today?
Oh, just hanging out.
Me too. Some days it feels like that's all I'm doing, even when I'm working here.
Just hanging out.
Yeah. Let me ask you a question. Jason. We're about to get into this draft in a second.
We're doing the best desserts draft, and we're all picking our favorite desserts.
What would be your first pick in the dessert selection?
Anything peanut butter, I would say.
Oh, sorry, I just vomit it everywhere, but I can respect your opinion.
I'm not the only one that doesn't eat peanut butter here at all?
Yeah, because I love it.
I love peanut butter.
Jason, now, I'm glad I have you on because you just want $1,000.
Oh, my gosh.
Yeah.
How about that?
That's awesome.
You know what's funny is that you would always say how easy it is to do is just, you know,
just to log on to your website, and I did that on Wednesday for the first time,
and that was the only time I did that.
And you probably thought, that guy's full of crap.
That's not that easy.
Now, literally, you're on the phone, you want $1,000.
Oh, that's super cool.
It's the Bobbybone shows June stimulus sweepstakes,
presented by Express Employment Professionals.
Let me ask you, Jason, what are you going to do with $1,000?
You know what?
I don't know.
We're thinking about going to Estes Park, so that might help.
In Colorado?
With the expensive.
Yep.
Nice.
Never been.
Just saw it on a map once.
Didn't it seem like, though I knew?
Didn't it seem like I knew?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Well, listen, I don't want to keep you.
I know you got stuff to do, but you just want $1,000, and I want to say thank you for listening.
And I love the people in Iowa.
I said it on my Instagram story of the day.
They were like, where's your favorite places?
And I listed like three.
And just Iowa as a whole state was my favorite because everybody's so nice there.
That's awesome.
All right.
All right, listen.
I got $1,000 for you, Jason.
Thank you for listening.
I'm going to put you on hold for a second, okay?
All right. Thank you.
All right. With the help of Express Employment Professionals, we've been giving away $1,000
a week thanks to our friends at Express Employment Professionals who have more than 550,000 people
find jobs each year. If you're looking for work, they're ready to help. Express Employment
Professionals. How about that? That guy gets a call.
Love it.
And then all of a sudden we bring them up in the draft about desserts, and he's like,
why that heck am I even on the air right now?
Amy, you're up. You have the first pick in the next segment as we draft desserts.
I'm ready.
Next.

All right, let's pick our favorite desserts.
We're going to do a dessert draft.
And no lunchbox, no Ray, they did not get back from Las Vegas in time.
So we're doing the draft without them.
Amy, you have the first pick in the desserts draft.
With the first pick, you select.
Okay, I'm going to go first round draft.
I am going to go ice cream.
Yeah, great.
Perfect first round pick.
Not flashy, but solid.
Okay, thank you.
Yeah, ice cream's great.
Eddie?
Oh, I'm not gonna go with ice cream because that's taken, but I'm going to go with the Girl Scout cookie.
Oh, wow, that's very specific.
I know.
You can get a specific issue.
I like that.
Yeah.
Okay.
Morgan?
Well, I was gonna go with cookies, but I'm gonna go with chocolate chip cookies.
Yay, I was gonna go with chocolate chip cookies.
Okay.
All right.
All right, all right.
I'm gonna go with the Oreo Blizzard from Sonic.
Dang.
Okay, so specific.
Oh, from Sonic.
Right?
No, wait, no, the Blizzard, not the Blizzard.
Oh, that's the Dary Queen.
Wait, what's Sonic have?
Blast.
Oriel Blast.
Okay.
I'm going to go with the...
Ooh.
Mm-hmm.
Mm-hmm.
Oh, yeah, because the blizzard's amazing.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I mean...
I'm going to go with the DQ Blizzard straight up.
That's what I thought.
That's what I thought you were to go with.
Straight up.
DQ Blizzard.
All right.
There are only four of us drafting today.
So, so come on.
We have to win this.
We, there's still four of us.
Me and me.
Okay.
Guys, okay.
What?
Nothing, good question.
Is it my turn?
No, it's my turn again.
Second round.
Oh, yeah, let's forget.
I don't play enough to know the rules.
Go ahead.
What's your question?
No.
Nothing.
Ask it.
When it's my turn, I don't know.
I'm thinking, like, are oatmeal cookies gross.
You can't answer that.
Yeah, wait for you might take them.
What?
You never know.
I might take them.
I didn't know we can be so specific.
You can be whatever you want.
I'm going to go with my second pick.
Oh.
What do people love, though?
Oh, man.
What do you love?
Well, I know what I love, but...
It's not going to work?
Mm-mm.
Because if I'm just, like, pandering, I would take some peanut butter thing.
Yeah, but we know that you hate peanut butter.
But I don't like peanut butter.
You got to be you.
I know.
Huh.
What do you guys laughing at?
Because I got mad that she took chocolate chip cookie, and I went so specific.
All right, I'm going to go with...
Come on.
Who?
I'm going to go with...
the Sonic. What is it?
The Sonic Oreo Blast.
Okay. I have
feeling McFlurrie's next for you.
Right.
Yeah. Are there any other ones?
All right.
Morgan, go ahead. What dessert
are you taking in the draft?
I'm going to take some
funfetti cake.
Okay. What's that?
Oh, you've never... Oh.
Funfetti cake is what everybody has for their birthday.
We've had it before. It's like it's like white cake
with little colors in.
Yeah.
Eddie?
Okay, here we go.
I'm going to go with
Smoors.
That's a good pick.
Come on, graham crackers, chocolate,
marshmallows.
That's a good pick.
Thank you.
Amy?
You going with oatmeal cookie?
That or Peach Cawler?
Well, you could do both because you have two picks in a row
because you have the last pick in the first book.
I'm going to lose, aren't I?
What is your next?
Amy, what is your next pick?
Chocolate cake.
Chocolate cake.
Why did it sound like you're on the twos?
Wait on when you said that.
Because I don't know.
Because also there's apple pie.
What happened to oatmeal cookie?
You just went through this whole TED talk about oatmeal cookie.
Peach cobbler is my favorite.
Wait, what is your pick?
You're throwing things out of us here.
It's my favorite.
But I want everything to flow.
What's your second picket?
You have ice cream and you're adding to it?
Peach cobbler.
All right.
Peach cobbler's solid.
It's very good.
Yeah, it's very good.
Especially from the salt lick, but I don't need to be that specific.
You could if you want it.
Don't do that.
No, no, it's fine.
But Google the recipe.
You can make it from your own kitchen.
All right, we're all drafting desserts.
Amy, you have to add one more player to your team.
You have ice cream, peach cobbler, add one more dessert.
Have you ever had that strawberry pretzel surprise?
Please pick that.
Please.
It's so good.
It's so good.
It's like cream cheese.
What are those really awful candies old people like?
No, that's what I like.
No, the chewy ones.
The candy get Halloween that everybody hates.
Biddle Honey?
Yeah.
I love Biddle Honey.
I do.
I love Biddle Honey.
I do.
I love Biddle Honey.
Ice cream, peach cobbler, what's your final pick?
Okay, fine.
Chocolate cake.
Okay.
There she is.
That's a solid draft because you just went strong.
You took it strong to the hole.
Wait, what was your first pick?
Ice cream.
Ice cream, peach collo, chocolate cake.
Eddie?
Here we go.
For my third and last pick, I'm going to go with the glazed donut.
The glazed donut.
The glazed donut.
That's dessert.
I might win.
Not win first, but over Eddie.
That's my goal.
Anytime is just to not lose.
The battle of the losers.
I got a grand slam.
I was just sitting on it.
Wade,
it's cinnamon rolls.
I have cinnamon rolls over here.
You don't have those as desserts, not breakfast?
Yeah, that's just regular food, man.
Oh, no.
That's what a donut is.
It had a donut too, Eddie.
Yeah.
No, it's a dessert.
It's not a dessert.
It's not a dessert.
They're sweet things.
I'm going to go with
The final pick
Here's some of the things I have on my list
McFlurry
Frosty
Do it
Oh, the Frosty
Have popsicles, obviously
It's a little more generic
I feel like you need to stick with your theme
Yeah man
I have Taco Bell cinnamon twists
Those are good
But pumpkin pie is something that I love
But a lot of people don't like pumpkin pie
But you love it
And that's all it matters
But I need to find the Venn diagram, the circle that I love and they love.
Listen, man, we all eat pumpkin pie and Thanksgiving.
We all do.
You know what?
I'm going piquem pie.
Stick that in your pie but smoke it.
Picamp pie, please.
Okay, Eric Church.
Not what about a piquem pie.
Put that in your piquem pie.
Yeah.
Nice.
All right, thank you very much.
All right, go vote, bobbybones.com.
The teams are Amy's drafted ice cream, peach cobbler, and chocolate cake.
Eddie has Girl Scout cookies, s'mores, and glazed donut.
Morgan has chocolate chip cookies, fun fettie cake, and cinnamon.
And I have DQ Blizzard Sonic Oreo Blast and Pecan Pie and McFlurry and Frosty and Popsicles
and Churros.
Good.
And Churros, you did not get that.
All right, go Bobby Bones.com.
I really only have DQBlessard Sonic Blast and Pacan Pie.
All right, check it out.
Bobby Bones.com.
Vote on the team that you like the best.
Bobby Bones.
Coming from the Bass Pro Shops and Cabella Studio on Music Row.
It's the Bobby Bone Show.
I saved this from Friday after the show because we were playing the Friday morning
dance party and John Pardy was driving his tractor while he was listening to the Friday morning
dance party.
And so he takes his Instagram story out and records him driving the tractor while we're playing
this on the Friday morning dance party.
So she thinks my tractor's sexy and he's on his tractor and he's like, Bobby Fones!
I love that, dude.
Yeah, that's funny.
Hey, I'm going to play you coming up in a second.
My two favorite songs right now.
I think to some people they'll be brand new.
One of them is brand, brand, brand, brand new.
But I'm going to give you my favorite songs right now.
And don't forget at 55 after, tell me something good.
All positivity here, Bobby Bone Show.
Coming from the Bass Pro Shops and Cabella Studio on Music Row, it's the Bobby Bone Show.
Want to hear my favorite song on the radio right now?
Yeah.
It's the Maddie and Tay song that I relate none to because I'm not a girl and I don't call my mom saying, can you die of a broken heart?
But this song is so good.
Do you know it?
Yeah.
Here, turn it up a little bit.
This comes on, and I'm like, I feel you, girl.
Except I don't, but I still feel like I do here.
This is a good song?
That's good.
Have you heard it all the way through?
No, no, no.
Or do you just go like, not for me?
No, I've never heard this song at all.
We play it on our show song.
I know.
I may just start working whenever it comes on.
Isn't it pretty cool?
The best part.
Yeah.
That you sang along with.
It was like the best part.
I was harmonizing.
Weird.
You went to them, but.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
The other song I love right now is the new one from The Chicks.
Oh.
Used to be the Dixie Chicks.
Now's the Chicks, just in case everybody knows.
they just put it out it's called March March
Have you heard this?
It's total my vibe though
Because I like female artists mostly the best
I like slow songs
I like songs
Here is, let's play it from the beginning
Here's that
Dick, uh
The Chicks
It's tough
You gotta bear with me for a second
Here we go
Turn up a little bit
March
March to my own drum
Much march to my own drum
Hey hey I'm an army
One
Be a one
Much
To my own
Drum
March, march to my own drum
Hey, hey, I'm an army of one
Me a one
Up a weapon and take it to the gun range
I'm going to the gun range
I mean, they're singing about what Eric Church is saying
Stick that in your country song
Like they're already doing it
That's literally what that is
So they are
Isn't that a jam?
It's going to take a while for me to be used to
I need to hear the whole thing I think
Yeah, turn it up against you
I mean, making like, again, all this is what church was saying stick in your country song.
Yeah, yeah.
Lyrics are good.
Yeah.
Lyrics are good.
What do you?
That melody is just, I'm having a hard time kind of like gripping the whole song.
Because it's like the more I hear it, the more I could get into it.
I feel like if I listen to five or six more times, like I'm going to be like, this is really good.
Turned up a little more.
So you guys can check that out too.
It came out on Friday.
Damn, that's different, man.
That's real different.
Yeah, I'm into it, though.
You know, I like this depressing songs, though.
Yeah, you do.
But again, that song is just attacking social issues.
Going, all right, here you go.
Hey, guys, welcome.
This is a segment Eddie and I like doing
because we're such music nerds.
So let's get to music school.
So today's going to be to Alan Jackson.
So on this day, Don't Rock the Jukebox went number one.
Here's a clip of Don't Rock the Jukeye.
So listen to this story about Alan Jackson.
1985, he was a former construction worker
from Newman, Georgia.
He was like, I'm going to go to Nashville, maybe get a recording contract.
He was, like MoStar, turned away by almost every record label.
He had formed a friendship with a short order cook and a dishwasher,
who also sang part-time at a nightclub in town.
That dishwasher was Randy Travis.
What?
That's crazy.
So Randy was trying to get his recording career going as well,
and they were both super frustrated.
So Alan Jackson was making money as a mailroom clerk at TNN, the Nashville Network.
and his wife was a flight attendant,
so she was making most of the money
while he was still able to go out and make music.
And so he stayed four years later,
got his first record deal,
and this song went number one,
29 years ago today.
Don't rock the jukebox.
That's awesome.
Think about that now.
Who in Nashville?
Who are the two people?
Somebody's working bars somewhere
and somebody's valiant cars
and they're going to end up being two big countries.
Just here in town.
But I thought that was pretty cool.
This song held the top spot for three weeks
outperforming all the year's other releases to become Billboard Magazine's country single of the year,
selling over a million copies by year in, by the years in.
So there you go.
On this day, don't rock the jukebox went number one, 29 years ago.
Bobby and Eddie's music.
All right, Eddie, what you got?
Okay, well, you mentioned Alan Jackson worked at TNN in the mail room.
Well, this is cool.
This is about Brett Eldridge.
So he just put out a song on Friday called Sunday Drive.
So there's a cool little story behind this that he shared on Instagram.
But Brett used to work at Universal Music.
and he was an intern for them, and what he would do is work in the basement and transfer
song tapes that songwriters would write into CDs or into MP3 so people can listen to them.
And so he had all these songs, and he heard this song, Sunday Drive in there.
He's like, oh, I hope someday I become an artist and I can cut this song myself.
Well, I mean, he's been an artist for how many years now, and now he finally can choose the songs that he wants.
He chooses Sunday drive and he finally got it.
Isn't that cool?
I love that.
Years and years ago, we heard this as he was transferring it over.
He also said that he hoped nobody would ever pick it up
Because you can put a song on hold at any time
And he was like, I was just praying that no one would ever
Take that song and cut it themselves
And so he's finally putting it on this project he's putting out
And what's kind of cool too is you got to think like he's an intern
Listen to all these songs
And then one of these songs just sticks out like that
That's a special thing to find a song like that
So that's a good one
There you go close it up

Coming from the Bass Pro Shops and Cabela Studio on Music Row, the Bobby Bone Show.
Apparently Dancing with the Stars is going after Dr. Fauci.
That would be huge for them.
The thing is, if you're on that show and you're older, it's tough because your body breaks down so quick.
I also doubt someone who has worked for like five or six presidents that is the most respected...
Infectious disease expert is going to go do dancing with the stars.
Right, because how old is he again?
I think Fauci's 80.
huh?
Who's the oldest person
that's been on Dancing with the Stars?
Buzz Aldrin did it.
He was 212, I think.
Yeah, he was old.
That's tough.
And I did it, and I was 38,
it's not two years ago,
and I was in great shape,
and still I was beat up all the time.
That's a tough show.
I had to get injections
my shoulder every week
because I fell and injured it
and I was like,
don't take me out.
I can't wait till the movie
comes out about this.
And so I was like,
every day I'd go
and I'd go to the medical center
and they'd be like,
Bobby, we just got a,
I've got to get you off the show.
You're going to hurt yourself forever.
But I remember saying to the doctor,
is there one person in the crowd tonight that came to watch me?
Because if so, I don't want to crush their dreams.
And they said, there is one.
And I took that needle.
And I got back out there and I danced my face off.
Wow.
And the rest is history.
It's going to be a good movie.
Thank you.
No, that's the whole thing.
That's the problem.
It's a short film.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
It's over.
But Dr. Foucho would be fun on there.
He just, he's 79 years old.
His birthday is December 24th.
Wow.
He looks good for 70.
He really does.
I saw another story about a valedictorian who had perfect attendance since pre-K.
Isn't that nuts?
I can respect and love someone who's on time and shows up all the time.
Like if I were hiring for a job and I saw this, I'd be like, absolutely.
You want this job and you're going to show up every day and show up and do the work?
Well, yeah, it's also great.
The parenting, because, I mean, that kid for a lot of those years, that was the parents making sure,
because I don't know that I could guarantee that for my kids.
If I have an opportunity to take them somewhere and they might have to miss school,
I'll be like, okay, no big deal.
Let's go.
valedictorian Ashanti Palmer
Flawless record
From pre-k
All the way till high school
At some point she had to be sick, right?
That's what I don't understand
And then you go, did you get those kids a flu?
Yeah
But no, I'm here with it
I thought that was a pretty cool story
Bobby Bones
So are we serious about getting a softball team together?
Yes
Because
I'll be the coach
And do all the getting people together
And you're playing too, right?
Yeah, and signing us up.
It's just somebody has to take the lead in that.
And I found a league we can play starting in August.
It's on Monday nights.
So.
What time?
Uh-oh.
Well, five, six, seven, eight.
All the games are whatever time?
Oh, different times.
Okay.
But it's always in the evening on Monday nights.
Mm-hmm.
So, are you going to play?
Do I have to answer right now?
Amy, come on.
We have to make a team.
Oh, okay.
Well, I got to figure out my, I don't know my kids schedule on Monday nights.
I don't know if we have gymna-
No, I mean like, you know, cheerleading, gymnastics.
Okay, so then you're not a yes right now.
I'm not, I can't be a yes right now with this information.
But I'm gonna get it, I'm gonna have to fill up the team with girls.
Okay, I'm gonna get back to you.
I literally have to figure out we have a potentially...
You may not be, the six or seventh girl out of five, though.
So I'd be an alternate.
Yes.
I'm fine with that.
Okay.
Morgan?
Yeah, I'm totally in.
Eddie?
I'm in, dude.
So we got two yes and a maybe.
I would love for you to play.
Yeah.
I have to make sure we have enough people before I...
sign up the team.
But it wouldn't be fair for me to commit to you right now
when I don't know the kid's schedules.
And if Stasheera makes cheerleader,
it's going to be hectic.
Okay, so we're going to do all that with your softball coach.
And you fighting for a spot, then you don't want to be on the team?
I don't know the schedule.
What are you talking about?
We need you.
We need our All-Star.
We need that switch hitter.
Yeah, we need that amidextrous power hitter from right field.
No, I was good at bunting.
Well, honestly.
We need that bunter.
Well, you can't butt in softball.
So, bitch.
I would love for you to play if you can.
Okay.
Okay.
But just checking to see if you were going to play.
Yes.
I will get back to you.
I promise soon.
I need to figure some stuff out.
Okay.
Well, then I think I may go forward and get us going because Kayla wants to play.
Okay.
I got a couple other guy friends that want to play.
I think we can pretty much fill up a team.
Did you, have you come up with a name yet?
Well, yeah, I've already designed the jerseys.
What?
What do they look like?
I knew it.
Is there a sponsor?
Yeah, me.
Oh.
Well, yeah, Amy.
Sponsored by Bear Bones.
No, we're probably going to be like the Tennessee Stanlies
and my dog will be the back on the jersey.
Cute.
Be his face.
Something like that.
Because I'm going to be the Bobby Bone show.
Because then people will come and just try to beat the crap out of us for no other reason.
Because they hate us.
Then they don't like our show.
But, okay, I think, yes, Morgan.
I have a question, coach.
Can we have practices?
Oh, yeah, we'll have practices.
Oh, how many?
For sure.
No, we're not.
All I want to know.
How many practices.
All I want to know is if people are interested in really showing up.
And it's probably like 10 or 12 games.
Maybe it's like 8.
I'm not sure.
But.
I got to get a glove.
Yeah.
Can you imagine if you're in this league we're in and we're going, are we going to practice?
I need a glove.
Like we are just ready to be.
I mean, I need to get cleats, dude.
Also, do we wear helmets?
Yeah, do we need helmets phones?
It's slow pitch softball.
Okay.
So, Amy, yes, you will.
Yeah, we have to protect ourselves.
Okay.
Okay.
If you're playing catcher, you, yeah.
I don't want to play catcher.
Oh, you need the gear.
Oh, yeah, you're going to definitely be catcher.
Oh, so you want me to be on the team, but I have to play catcher?
And no playing with a dirt, Jamie.
For slow pitch, do we even need one?
Yeah, there's got to be one.
You'll be a good catcher.
I have to wear all that catcher's gear.
Yes, everything.
Slow pitch softball, you got to put the pads on.
The chest protector.
Wear your cap backwards.
And you do your hand down for a fastball with the finger one and the two is the cardball.
Oh, and you have to paint your nails with fluorescent color.
so I know, so it's like I know what they are.
Okay.
Practice a hey, badda, batta, batta.
Hey, badda, batta swing.
Yeah.
Hey, badda, badda, badda.
Hey, badda, badda.
Your mom.
What?
What?
We used to have something.
Oh, you're insulting moms?
Wait, what league is this?
We used to have some song we would say, we would sing to the person batting and be like,
your mama, you're greased to gran and got holes in her panties.
Greasy Granny?
Does anybody know this cheer?
We didn't do cheers, Amy, on the baseball team.
Well, it wasn't cheer.
It was more like...
No, it was trash talking.
But it was like...
It was singing trash talking.
I need somebody who knows this cheer
because now it just doesn't seem right
because I think we said something like,
yo mama, your daddy,
yo greasy granny got holes in a pit.
Probably totally inappropriate
at the time, but we did it.
Makes me uncomfortable now.
Matter of fact.
Coming from the bass pro shops
and Cabella Studio on Music Row
It's the Bobby Bone Show.
Eddie, tell me for feeling it yet.
Here's the hook for the new song from The Chicks.
See, already now I'm moving my head.
I wasn't doing it the first time.
Same.
Yeah?
Yeah.
As soon as it hit, I was like, okay, okay.
Here, play from the beginning again, will you?
And turn it up to 11.
Not even just 10. Turn it up to 11.
And then break off the knob.
Turn the knob and rip it.
I'm an army of one.
Have you convinced yet.
March, march, march to my own drum.
Hey, hey, I'm an army of one.
Me a one.
Get your police up a weapon and take it to the gun range.
I like it.
Amy?
I like it.
Did you come around?
Yeah.
Uh-huh.
Just as I suspected.
All right, that's it for today.
Morgan, what's on the podcast?
Well, we talk about the results of Ramundo's Bachelor Party bet with your money.
Yeah, I gave him $2.50 as a gift.
He went, he bedded it all on a, and it's up to.
And then why we think there was something really shady that happened to, wouldn't we all agree?
Yes.
You can hear about that in the podcast.
All right.
What else?
We drafted our favorite desserts.
And?
This show, softball team is officially happening.
And?
And you and Eddie's music school taught us some things about Alan Jackson and Brett Eldridge.
All right, that's it.
Thank you guys.
We'll see it tomorrow on the show.
