Starting point is 00:02:52 The Bobby Bones post show pre-show. A guy tried to board a. flight from Orlando to Louisville with 22 bags of meth worth half a million dollars in his bag. You got to wonder if he's ever pulled this off though. Yeah, probably. Like, that's a lot
Starting point is 00:03:07 to be going on a first run. Probably done it a couple times, but I'm looking at all the bags here. I mean, there's probably 30, 40 bags of meth here. Again, my butt would be so pucker the entire time. Just going, please don't look at me, please don't talk to me. I wouldn't do anything wrong.
Starting point is 00:03:24 I'd pronounce all my words right. I know for me I'd have to like take a little bit of it to be able to do interesting perspective no I mean I would have to be like out of my mind
Starting point is 00:03:37 like out of like a not in control I would need some sort of chemical to loosen you up to carry chemicals that's that's hardcore legal it is like meth we're not talking weed I'm not talking meth
Starting point is 00:03:49 yeah crazy half a million dollars you know somebody got mad at him too so after he gets out of jail somebody's upset. Or maybe in jail. He'll get handled there. That's why I don't sell meth.
Starting point is 00:04:01 Right. I don't want to get handled in jail. Jeez. Let's see. Harry Stiles lookalike has been busted for armed robbery. Do you see this guy? But he's got the mask on?
Starting point is 00:04:12 Oh, that's hilarious. He looks just like him, except for he's got a huge tattoo on his forehead. Watermelon sugar, hi. Watermelon sugar. Oh, man, what a shame. So he just looks like him.
Starting point is 00:04:23 He wasn't trying to be him or anything. So cute. What was he doing? What was he doing wrong? This is in Pennsylvania. He kicked in the door of an apartment while armed with an automatic rifle. Oh, yikes, okay. After reportedly ordering three people to the ground, get on the ground
Starting point is 00:04:38 now. He was even singing it like that. Including a woman who hit over the head. I mean, this is a bad dude. How traumatic. He was ought to make off with a quarter pound of pie and 400 bucks. Oh, man. Fortunately, Harry Styles wasn't implicated because his girlfriend was facing
Starting point is 00:04:54 legal issues of her own was able to ID him after seeing surveillance video. But he does look like Harry Stiles. Going into somebody's house with a gun. Yeah, like... That's like a different level. Do I understand having hard times and like breaking a window, trying to go steal some stuff and sell a little pawn shop? I understand that.
Starting point is 00:05:12 I never done it. People did it at my town all the time. You're poor, you do desperate things. But going in with a gun and holding it, that is a game changer in your life. Because if you get caught doing that, you're in real jail for a long time. there's a lot of charges with that. TikTok has premiered the unverified content tag.
Starting point is 00:05:31 If you go to TikTok, there's a lot of folks up there giving you conspiracy theories, health tips, just stuff you go, oh, I didn't know that. I think I'll start doing that. Oh, if I cut off my pinky toe, I'll run this much faster. There are people just saying crap, but now they're going, it's kind of like the fake news alert. Okay. I wonder, like, is there a group of people that work there that are going to have to filter everything out? Sure.
Starting point is 00:05:49 What kind of flags that? There's probably going to be a button, and you hit it, and then it goes to somebody, goes, let me see if this is really hot. Twitter has it now too. Facebook's trying to do that kind of stuff. I feel like everything on TikTok is just so fake. There's a lot of acting over on TikTok for sure. I like TikTok. It's the funniest place.
Starting point is 00:06:08 If you want to laugh, TikTok has the best content. By far, the funniest. Twitter, the best news. Really easy for me to fight on Twitter, but the best news. And then Facebook... I don't know. How do you even... I delete a TikTok back whenever... Oh, I'm on all the news.
Starting point is 00:06:24 Oh, it's good. It's the best content. Okay. I don't understand it. Now I feel really old. But like my daughter would use it and we would play on it together. But then back whenever there was the controversy, we deleted it. In fact, she was pro deleting it too. So now I'm never on it. I guess I could load it back up. But I don't even know how to really enjoy it. Like I know how to use Instagram and Twitter, but I can't figure out TikTok.
Starting point is 00:06:49 You could just like the others. I just have to spend time with it. I know. Takes time. Well, I know you say it's funny and like, I want to laugh. Well, there's TikTok, you know, started as kind of a lip sync app, yeah, to a dance app. But now it's just a content app and it's 15 or 60 seconds.
Starting point is 00:07:06 And it can be all kinds of stuff. I follow some golfers on there that I think are funny or just doing crazy stuff. There's a lot of sports on there. I get a lot of people playing music. Maybe that's your thing. There's just kind of different kind of TikTok. No, I mean, I see the funniness when it transfers over to Instagram. Like people will post their TikTok video or you'll post somebody's TikTok on Instagram.
Starting point is 00:07:22 And that's how I get to enjoy. it is when it transfers over. I try not to be that person that posts every TikTok on every social media because I'm just like, that's what TikTok is for. Yeah, but you're not even just, I'm saying not even your stuff. You post other people's TikToks like that are cool or funny and then that's how I see it. I'll post one occasionally from mine, but I'm like, I want my TikTok stuff to be TikTok stuff, not splashed on every other social media.
Starting point is 00:07:45 Gotcha. But it's the funniest, most compelling content on the internet. Like every day, if you could just post on your Instagram. Instagram, the funniest thing you see on TikTok, then I'll get to enjoy it. I wouldn't feel that bad about that. That's basically a meme account. Okay. A family wakes up to a giant 10-foot crocodile hanging out in their pool, just chilling. Oh, that's crazy.
Starting point is 00:08:06 Where is this? Probably Florida. A family woke up to a visitor. No, it's in South Africa. Oh, right. They won't have Florida crocodiles here. Can you imagine a 10-foot? Oh, my gosh.
Starting point is 00:08:15 That's scary. You just walk out and it's just there, chilling. Well, I give you guys a little behind-the-scenes nugget that happened here on the show. we were in between segments and Eddie takes a shot at lunchbox Yeah an unnecessary shot rude Because he's insecure in his own body
Starting point is 00:08:32 So he tries to take a shot at my body Well so this That's what it is Hold on this is what happens I compliment Eddie Because Eddie has done a lot of work To get himself Skinnier than losing away
Starting point is 00:08:45 Just did an easy diet man That's it And as we talk about asking much questions Not easy, you're irritable and angry And Eddie goes Well I'm eventually I have to start working out out too because I don't want to end up like lunchbox. I don't want to look like this guy.
Starting point is 00:08:56 What did you mean? What did you mean by that? Skinny, no muscle tone. That's it. It's a body type. But my point is this is what these two do all the time. They're constantly bickering with each other. And it's not that one of them is worse than the other. They both just do it. But then lunchbox slugs them and goes,
Starting point is 00:09:13 at least I have my hair. And then it goes, ooh. Right. But that's what should happen. When a bully comes at you, you knock their teeth out and they don't come at you much anymore. I'm the bully in that situation. Absolutely.
Starting point is 00:09:24 I was just sitting here mining my business and you go, I don't want to end up like this guy, like trying to take a body shame me, make fun of my physique. That's right, body shaming you. Yeah, you were body shaming me because you aren't unhappy with your body and how you feel in your own skin
Starting point is 00:09:39 so you think, oh, I'm going to deflect and make lunchbox feel bad. But you don't make me feel bad because I know I look good and women like it. I don't know about that, but he did. And so then I hit him back. I hit him where it hurts the most because he won't even go anywhere
Starting point is 00:09:49 without a hat because he's so ashamed of us. So can I ask them something? No. Do two wrongs, make it right? Sometimes. Listen, when I got picked on as a kid, I wish I'd have punched my bullies right in the mouth. And why didn't you?
Starting point is 00:10:00 Because I was scared. And who won that battle? The bullies. No. No, look at you now. Look at me now. Yesterday, I was getting bullied on Twitter yesterday. I knocked the crap out of this, dude.
Starting point is 00:10:10 That's what you do. You did not knock it crap out of anyone. He knocked them with some words. No, do you feel good after you tweet back? No, you don't. Let me tell you what happened. Oh, my God. Because I didn't fight with everybody.
Starting point is 00:10:20 there's this radio guy named Big Rick or something that's always trolling me. Do you guys know who this guy is? I'm going to look him up. I don't know. He's like always trolling me. He's trolled me many weeks in a row. And I was talking about Morgan Wallen
Starting point is 00:10:32 and I came out and expressed how I felt. And he's like, if I was doing it, I would do it like this. And then he was like, if that's your best foot, I hate to see your work. And I'm just like, what's wrong with you? Like, well, first of all, you don't come over here trying to bully me on Twitter. And so I say, LOL, L.O.L.
Starting point is 00:10:48 that's like the Pee Wee football team telling the Kansas City Chiefs how to run plays. Boom! Okay. Yes! That's how you do it. So I don't need bullies coming over here, harassing me. I'm just over here doing my job. And then... Nothing. I'm just laughing. Then he runs back to a radio Facebook account.
Starting point is 00:11:05 It's like, oh, I got bullied. And so then they're all shooting at me. And so I got off Twitter until late last night. Then I got back on and I was in it again. I'm just not going to deal with the bully. Dislike Lunchbox. When I do that to today? I was like, that's what you do. You punch a bully in the mouth.
Starting point is 00:11:18 And they don't do it anymore. Come on. Punch me in the mouth. What? Nothing. I just am laughing at that response because you sent it to me last night. I sent Bobby something because I was fired up about something. He just goes, shake it off, shake it off.
Starting point is 00:11:28 And then he sent him back. He sent me the screenshot of what. This was a public shot. He took a public shot at me. Yeah. Don't take a public shot. This was not public. Me and lunchbox.
Starting point is 00:11:38 Here's the thing about me. Exactly. 98% of the time, I'm the nicest guy ever. Don't poke the bear. I will melt you. I don't like that about me, but I will. When you grow up in the hood, You have to protect yourself.
Starting point is 00:11:50 I'm not taking some internet bully, busts him. And it's not the first time. This is many times this little troll's been after me. So I had it. That's it. Oh, he screenshot it. He should. Put it up on his wall.
Starting point is 00:12:01 Did he really? Oh, boy. I did text it, Amy. He said, you're better than this. Remember you're like... I'm not. I'm not better than anything. Amy, what are you going to say?
Starting point is 00:12:11 Well, nothing. Your reply to me was shake it off and then you set that screenshot. I know. And then so I replied, OMG, you just told me to shake it off. and then this you reply, but I get your whole public versus private thing. Why do you guys have beef with so many people? Amy's beef central.
Starting point is 00:12:25 Just don't come at me. Man, this dude tried to come back. I'm beef central. You're beef central. You have like three beefs going. I don't have any beef. I got one. You got any beef right here.
Starting point is 00:12:34 I don't have any beef with that. Maybe it's the Times or something because I went home yesterday. My wife had beef with like three people. I'm like, you never have beef with people. It's no time. I was doing nothing but sitting here doing the show. I didn't go at anybody. And also, I don't reply to DMs that are mad.
Starting point is 00:12:47 Okay, but I don't have beef with any. Oh, you do. I can name two people. Name them. You say that. I have used them. It's different. Just name those people.
Starting point is 00:12:58 Have to just be like, oh, man, well, that's a bummer. That's disappointing. They decided to do that. Like, and kind of, maybe I roll my eyes sometimes. Amy's got two beefs. Two beefs? I only have one in a name with that guy. And it's over, right?
Starting point is 00:13:15 With what? Oh, not with that guy. Oh, you have another beef beef. You know, but this is my. main thing I do to people all the time, that little tweet. I do that same tweet to people. When they harass me about writing books or like you're not funny on stage, I tweet the same thing. And what it does it do? Yeah, what does that do? It pisses them off so bad. They forget why they're at me in the first place. And then they go on their own little tangent. And I'm like,
Starting point is 00:13:34 I'm out of this fight. Thank God, they're not attacking me anymore for what I'm doing. I've used that like eight times. I hate to give away my secret. Usually it's like, okay, you're like the JV team and you're messing with the Cowboys or something like that. But since the Super Bowl, I did Kansas City. And then I were played back again and I went, sorry I'm pulling for the Buccaneers. I did see that actually. I just want to read some of these responses. He told you, I think a local peewee team could put together a better response than you did.
Starting point is 00:14:00 Like what kind of, like he didn't have anything to come back with. And so that and then some other guy tweets goes, this guy about you, this guy's a joke. I'd never heard of him before he danced with my partner on Dancing with the Stars. Who's the guy? Noah Galway? Oh, yeah, I think he was on the show. But he was like my partner. I've never heard of until he danced with my partner.
Starting point is 00:14:20 Like he, and like, I'm like, I'm not trying to beef with everybody. Now you're beefing with Logo. I'm going to start talking to you. I'm sure to know a guy's a great guy. I have no problem with that. Anyway, there you go. Now I'm all fired up, ready to get back into more fights. No, man. No, just chill.
Starting point is 00:14:33 You're good. I am chilled. I don't care. The Morgan Wall and stuff is crazy because I was already fighting with people telling me the N-word's not a big deal. And I'm just firing off at people. People are so stupid. They just saw her. I don't get it. it. I don't get it. Don't get it.

Starting point is 00:19:21 Morning. Whoa, whoa, whoa. Here we are again. Let's do a couple of voicemails here. This is in regards to Mike D wanting to be pepper sprayed in his face, asking over and over again. Guys, I don't want to do it. Stop coming to me going, I can't believe you would do this. If my friend comes to me and says, would you please do this to me and it's not going to hurt me and he really wants it, I'm going to do it.
Starting point is 00:19:45 I mean, he wants to be pepper sprayed. He wants to know what it feels like. Here's voicemail number one. Morning studio. Hey, Bobby. One message to Mike. Don't shave. Do not shave.
Starting point is 00:19:56 All that's going to irritate your skin. I was in ex-marine. We did tear gas pretty much very similar. It's going to hurt. You'll make it. You'll be all right. Thanks, Bobby. That's the kind of call I need to hear.
Starting point is 00:20:10 That's a good pro tip. Yeah. What I'm debating is doing it tomorrow. I'm still not there for putting it on the air yet. We're going to do it because he wants, if he came to the house and knocked on the door at 3 p.m., I said, please do this. I'll say, are you sure? He said, okay, you got to do it.
Starting point is 00:20:25 But do we put it on the air. air tomorrow. Hey, how are you going to make him keep his eyes open? Like, that's a thing, right? He's got to, like, keep his eyes open. I'm not making him do anything. All right. If he wanted to go, you know what?
Starting point is 00:20:36 Never mind. Doing the back of my head. I was just doing the back of his head. All right. Fair enough. Let's do one more. This is Ryan, who's in the Navy. I was just listening to the show hearing about the pepper spray.
Starting point is 00:20:46 If you do decide to go do it, use baby soap to clean your eyes out. It works and wonders. It gets the crystals out faster from your eyes. And don't be afraid to get in your eyes. All right. Love you show. Appreciate that. And thank you for serving, by the way. The baby shampoo won't cause more irritation.
Starting point is 00:21:03 It's tear-free. Yeah. Helps with that. Mike, walk over to a microphone. Mike D.R. headwriter. You promise that if you get hurt from this, you're not coming after me. I promise. You maybe have him sign something.
Starting point is 00:21:15 No, that's illegal. He's bind it right there. Whatever happens to you, you are doing nothing to me. Yes, I promise. That what? I will not do anything to you if anything happens. Okay. Sometimes if I get.
Starting point is 00:21:26 get tickled and I don't want to be tickled. I cannot control my reflexes. Like, I will kick you and hurt you. Like, even my kids, like, I tell them, don't tickle me because I don't know how I'm going to respond. I don't want to hurt you. Like, I feel like, what if he starts to attack you? Well, that whole story was weird. Yeah, it wasn't weird. It was kind of went to an odd place. Why? Why? They're having tickle Tuesdays over to Amy's with their kids. Just ripping into her. All right, kids, have at it. But if I cut you with the switchblade, you know what happened. Right. I can't control my reaction because it's so uncomfortable for me. So I'm just saying, protect yourself.
Starting point is 00:22:03 Okay. Thank you, Amy. You don't know what he'll do. Thank you. We'll see what maybe tomorrow. All right, Mike. Okay. Watch a little bit of the kids baking championship last night. Oh, yeah. Love it. It's on Food Network, which by the way, if you want to talk about a great app, the Discovery Plus app.
Starting point is 00:22:19 Eddie's been watching a little bit over two. Oh, yeah, I have been watching. HGTV, Food Network, TLC. There are so many. It's seriously. channel, that's the one I like. Oh, yeah, me too. The biggest collection of real-life entertainment, 55,000-plus episodes, 2,500 shows.
Starting point is 00:22:33 Plus shows. I got to do the plus because more than 2,500. Right. Discovery Plus has our favorite shows and personalities, plus exclusive originals all in one place, and it's basically half the cost of other streaming services. $4.99 a month. $6.99 if you want to add free.
Starting point is 00:22:47 Stream what you love on Discovery Plus. Is your kid still in it? Heck yeah, man. Grayson's awesome. What about Caitlin's kid? Got cut. Oh! Oh, you win.
Starting point is 00:22:57 Avner got cut. She picked somebody else as her backup. All right. Yeah, Grayson's still rocking. Just an update for you guys. Lunchbox told us on Monday that he lied to the cable company. Do you remember this?
Starting point is 00:23:10 Yes. He bought a UFC fight. The fight was fine for him, but he saw on the internet that it was cutting out for others. So he called the cable company, lied and said it was bad for him and got a refund. That was the talk. Lunchbox, how did you feel the internet responded to that?
Starting point is 00:23:26 The internet, what I thought was going to be on my side, was mostly against me. I would say 99.9% against me saying, oh, you're stealing, you're a thief, you're a loser, things like that. Here's a voicemail we got about this. I can't believe you guys put up with lunchbox thief and you guys play him off as a good guy. He's not a good guy. He's a thief. And hopefully one day he gets caught doing it. What do you want to say to that guy? Man, look, I'm not a thief.
Starting point is 00:23:56 I didn't steal anything. Other people were having problems, so they have no idea. That's not stealing. I didn't take anything from him. He called the cable company. Yes, because I wanted to prove because everybody was on my back saying, oh, you're such a thief and you're stealing. I wanted to call the cable company and prove to you guys that it really wasn't that big a deal.
Starting point is 00:24:15 Okay, here we go. Thank you for calling. This is, how can I help you? The other day, I watched the UFC fights, and I called and I kind of lied. and I kind of lied to you guys and said I was having problems with my feed, and I got a full refund, but I'm calling back, to be honest and tell you that I really wasn't having a problem with my feed, I just wanted the refund.
Starting point is 00:24:36 Oh, so you're calling to pay back the refund we gave you? No, no, I don't want to pay it back. See, so I told my coworkers, and they had to like I was some lying thief, and so I'm just calling to prove that it's really not a big deal that I got a refund. Well, sir, as a as a representative of I am obliged to inform you that you're calling and admitting to falsification of a customer service claim is not, how do I put this to you gently, sir? You have to pay for what you stole, and we're going to be charging you for the fight, okay? I just want to go over that with you really quickly, and then I'll put this on your bill, and that'll be that, okay? So do you have my account number?
Starting point is 00:25:20 No, we actually had... What, what? I was going on... I was going under a brick. I said, I can't... No, that was it? I hung up.
Starting point is 00:25:32 Oh, my goodness. What's wrong with you? He didn't have my account number yet. I was out. I don't know he just yelled. I said, he didn't have my account number yet, so I was out. He said, no, I don't have your account number. Oh, bad connection.
Starting point is 00:25:49 Did you not expect? it to go that way? No, I didn't. I am telling you, I didn't see anything wrong with it. I thought everyone was going to agree with me. And I guess maybe I was wrong. I guess maybe you were. So then you should give the money back. Okay. Going under a bridge. On the phone right now in St. Louis is Katie. Hi, Katie. Good morning. Welcome to the show. Good morning. Morning. So I have this so-called friend, if you will, that I let borrow a few of my books to read. So two of which are your books, Bobby, bare bones and fail until you don't. Well, this friend decided to literally ghost me, and I haven't read Fail Until You Don't yet.
Starting point is 00:26:36 And I've been trying for nine months to get back the books and literally nothing. So I was just saying what you guys think, like what should I do? I don't know. Do you want us to call this friend? What if we give Ray Mundo this friend's number and we put her on hold and we just call and say, Hey, can we get those books back to Katie? Oh. Oh my God.
Starting point is 00:26:59 That would be hilarious. Hey, Ray, put her on hold. Get her friend's number. We won't call her friend on the air. But see if you can have that conversation and we'll check back during this segment. And if she doesn't answer, she doesn't answer. Leave her a message, Ray. It's actually a guy.
Starting point is 00:27:12 Oh, it's a guy. Of course it's a guy. Only God is terrible. Leave a message going, hey, this is Ramundo from the Bibone show. Katie. Katie, what's your first initial or your last name? M. Katie M says you had some of her books and she would like them back. No questions asked. Wait, were y'all ever more than friends?
Starting point is 00:27:30 Wink, wink, wink. No, great question. And I knew that was probably going to be assumed when I said guy. But no. And I think that's why he ghosted me. Oh. Okay. Well, let's put you on hold. We'll come back to her in one second and get her number. I'm going to do a couple of times.
Starting point is 00:27:42 stories while we wait. What are we going to say? I was going to say also if we can't find this person or they don't ever call back, then you should send her a book. I think that's why people call sometimes, right? Yeah, probably. I mean, it's fine. You can. I've seen plenty at your house. On your bookshelf,
Starting point is 00:27:57 I'll grab one next time. It's a backdrop though. Oh, exactly? Yeah. I built a backdrop for when they put me on TV from Zoom. And you have multiple of your books. I don't have anybody else's book up there. It's mine. Why would I not do that? It's great. Okay. A woman in Phoenix fired shots at some burglar's running from an Ace Hardware store.
Starting point is 00:28:17 She missed them completely, but she did hit one of the store employees. Oh, man. A woman has been arrested after allegedly shooting a Phoenix Ace Hardware employee while attempted to stop two robbery suspects. According to court paperwork, the incident happened around 9.15 a.m. Saturday at the Ace Hardware, police say 45-year-old Naya Rivas was walking her dog in the area. She saw two people running from the store holding items, followed by employees who were yelling at the two people saying, hey, stop, stop, stop. She observed the incident, realized they were shoplifting.
Starting point is 00:28:49 One of the two alleged shoplifters got into a blue sedan and began to drive away. The second person followed the vehicle and got in as it was driving away. She told police she fired at least two stop shots toward the vehicle in an attempt to disable the vehicle but not hurt anyone. That's on TV. Don't shoot out the tires. It wasn't your store. And also it's a store.
Starting point is 00:29:10 And also you're, wow. She's carrying and walking her dog. That I don't care that much about because she probably has a permit. Hopefully. Well, it doesn't say she got arrested for having a weapon. Okay. So that part, but it's like, why are you just firing randomly at some people who robbed Ace Hardware? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:26 If it was your house and they had your kid. Different. In her mind, man, she must have thought she was going to be the hero when those tires got popped. She was arrested and facing charges for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and discharging a weapon within city limits. No other details on the shoplifers. shop lifters have been released. The thing too is that she fired warning shots, but at the car.
Starting point is 00:29:46 That's not a warning shot. Up in the air. That's a shot with intention. At least it's something. A warning shot is boom, boom in the air. And also, those aren't good because what goes up? Must come down. Yeah, it's just someone uneducated with a firearm.
Starting point is 00:30:01 Which is lead me back to her. If she had a concealed license, she would have learned all of this with getting her permit. I think she had a concealed license or they didn't need one because that would have been what she would have been in trouble for. Okay. And it wasn't. Wildlife officials in Alaska had to put down a moose after seeing a live Facebook post. The video showed a woman feeding the moose and petting the animal.
Starting point is 00:30:22 Officials said, don't feed wild animals because they become dependent. It causes them to stop searching for food and then rely solely on humans. She posted it, then she was arrested and fined. The moose appeared thin, showed signs that have been fed by humans for some time. That's what led up to people were feeding it. Dang. and it wasn't eating on its own Man, if a moose wanted to eat out of my hand
Starting point is 00:30:46 Wouldn't you, like, let that happen? Wouldn't that be cool? Like, if a bear, it's not your fault that they're coming? I'm not going to let a bear eat out of my hand. No, in the wild. Okay. No, I don't like animals in cages really either. Right, no, I don't like that either.
Starting point is 00:31:00 But if I'm in the wild, I'm just not going to trust something bigger than me. Wild. Yeah, and we talked about those moose. They're huge. Yeah. Ramundo, any luck? did not answer. I did leave the voice mail. Oh, we're not going to say his name. Okay, he left the voicemail.
Starting point is 00:31:15 Okay. And I said, uh, Sisson, no questions asked. Give us a call back. 187777 Bobby. Nice. Put Katie up, please. I'm gonna talk to her. Hey, Katie in St. Louis. We did leave the message. Uh, old, I got the note. Okay. Oh, God. Okay. Oh, God. What? I'm just like nervous. I'm probably, I don't know. I just haven't heard from him in forever. So we'll see what he says. Yeah, you did this. I know. Okay. Is it possible something happened to him?
Starting point is 00:31:43 Maybe he goes to the worst. Wow. I wouldn't have answered from an unknown number either. Now Amy thinks M. It's been abducted. Well, now maybe a small percentage of me is worried about him. So I feel like I would have heard by now since it's been nine months. But I actually, that thought, did cross my mind, Amy.
Starting point is 00:32:04 Thank you. We're going to hear from M. Soon. And then we'll get back with Katie and let her know. Okay. All right, Katie. Have a good day. Thank you too, Bobby.
Starting point is 00:32:11 All right, bye, bye. Bobby Bohn Show. The latest from Nashville and Hollywood. Morgan No. 2's 30 Second Skinny. Luke Bryan talks about not wanting to pressure his kids into doing music. It's all got to be on their terms. I mean, if I set them in motion where they think they got to be better than their dad at performing and all that, I don't want to put that on them.
Starting point is 00:32:32 I want their love for it to be like how I came to love it. T.J. Osborne of Brothers Osborne. publicly came out and shared his story in Time magazine. He talked a little more about it on social media. I'm very proud to put this out there. I want to let you all know that I've gotten to know me over the years that the person, you know, is me, and now you just know more about me. And I think that's so important in so many ways.
Starting point is 00:32:58 I know what is going to help my relationship with my fans, with my family, and honestly, it will help my relationship with myself. Chris Stapleton revealed in a recent interview that he kind of, of offended Katie Perry while they were backstage at the Grammys one year. He made a self-deprecating remark about both of them being just musicians, and Katie said it was offensive to both of them because they were both healers and they have an important job. And Morgan number two, that's your skinny.
Starting point is 00:33:25 It's time for the good news. With lunchbox. George is a college student in Maryland. He's up late one night playing some video games, maybe NBA 2K with Bobby, and he looks out the window. He's like, man, My neighbor's house is on fire. And he runs outside and he starts banging on the door.
Starting point is 00:33:45 And it's a grandma and grandkids that live there. And he runs inside upstairs, grabs the 18-month-old twins, and gets Granny out all a-okay. Dang, say babies and an old person. Wow. Yeah. And they said it was three to five minutes later and went up fully in flames. What time of day was this?
Starting point is 00:34:01 I was in the middle of the night. He was playing video games. Of course. That's why we should play all night long. Exactly. As Lionel Richie said, All night long. Play games.
Starting point is 00:34:10 That's what it's all about right there. That was Tell Me Something Good. Bobbi Bones Show. Boney up the day. This story comes with us from Stanford, Connecticut. A man and a woman out in a snowstorm, they got a pickup truck, and they're in a parking lot. They're like, oh, you know what we got to do.
Starting point is 00:34:28 We got to do some donuts. Guys driving, start doing donuts in the abandoned parking lot. Only problem is they lose control, go over the side, into the harbor. Oh, that's not good. I would look for a harbor before I started doing the donut. It is tempting. Absolutely.
Starting point is 00:34:47 You got your chick in the car. You're going to show off, do some donuts. And then the woman was able to climb him out the passenger side. And the guy totally submerged in the truck. Firefighters pulled him out the back window. I don't get the temptation, though. Like, zero part of me wants to do a donut. Seriously, you have never been, have you ever been in a car that goes into circles and round and around?
Starting point is 00:35:06 So fun. No, and I don't want to. And that's okay. You don't have that temptation. Okay. Y'all are all like to get down. Me too. Also, you like to break things and I don't have that temptation. We can have different temptations.
Starting point is 00:35:15 Yeah, I get that. Okay, cool. I'm lunchbox. That's your Bonehead story of the day. Starting point is 00:39:06 27 years old. They each get three questions about each other's generation. Morgan's in the lead two to one, by the way. First. He's the dad of four. The Hispanic who don't panic. He's ready to party in the USA like Miley Cyrus. And once upon a time, he had coronavirus.
Starting point is 00:39:29 Produce ready. I like that. His opponent, she runs all of our digital. she stands five feet she graduated from Kansas State and guys she's single if you want to take her on a date it's Morgan number two yeah
Starting point is 00:39:44 it's good Eddie you get three questions that Morgan would and should know the answer to you may not correct question number one these track suits were very much associated with Paris Hilton they came in many colors and some would say the name of the company
Starting point is 00:40:02 on the buttocks oh on the butt of the track suit Juicy. Is that your answer? Yeah. It is. Do we accept that? Juicy couture?
Starting point is 00:40:17 We'll accept that. Right. I would want back to you to be more specific. Why, what did it say in the butt? They said juicy. Juicy. Juicy. Juicy.
Starting point is 00:40:21 But the brand is juicy couture. Okay. Take it. Yes, you will, because I'm giving it. And that's kind of creepy that he knows it. Oh, come on. Who didn't see that? Who didn't see people wearing juicy on their butts?
Starting point is 00:40:32 Yeah, when you're wearing it on your butt. He stopped himself. I'll stop. All the members of one. direction have gone on to have solo careers. Uh-huh. But what member had a debut number one called Strip That Down? Here is the hook.
Starting point is 00:40:49 Baby, you know I love it when the music slide but come and strip that down for me, baby. Does that sound familiar? No, not at all. Listen a little more. What your hands on my body and swing that ground for me. Sway-by. You know I love it when the music slide but come and strip that down for me. Which member of One Direction was that?
Starting point is 00:41:09 Harry, Nile, Zane. And that's all I got. So I'll go with Zane. That's not Harry and that's not Nile. Horan. So let's go Zane. Incorrect. Morgan?
Starting point is 00:41:24 Liam. Liam is correct. Liam Payne. There's Liam and then there's the other one. Andrew. There's an Andrew? Louis. Louis.
Starting point is 00:41:33 That's right. Eddie, what is it? What is the acronym O O O-O-T-D stand for? You'll see it sometimes on Instagram or Twitter. O-O-O-T-D. You know what I mean? Yep, I do. O-O-T-D.
Starting point is 00:41:52 I've done it. Thank you. O-O-T-D. O-on. Stop looking at me. Table deck. On-on table deck. Morgan?
Starting point is 00:42:13 I'm wearing my outfit of the day. Outfit of the day. What? I would have never gotten that. Morgan's up 2-1. Let's go over to Morgan and answer all of our person questions. Morgan, what was the name of the stunt performer
Starting point is 00:42:26 who wore a famous red, white, and blue jumpsuit? What was the name of the stunt performer who wore a very famous red, white, and blue jumpsuit? I mean, like, I only know a red and white jumpsuit in, like, Will Ferrell movies. Like, Talladega Nights or something. I don't even think I know of a name of a stunt. person.
Starting point is 00:42:54 So I'm going Will Ferrell. The stunt performer? That's incorrect. Eddie? That is evil-knevel. Correct. Jump motorcycles. Ever heard of them?
Starting point is 00:43:06 Yeah, now that he said the name, but I couldn't picture him if I tried. This classic rock band had such hits ass. I'm going to play a few of them. Back in black. Dirty Dirty Dirty Dudes, done Dirt Cheats. And you shook me all night. long. Okay, I knew the last one. Name the band.
Starting point is 00:43:39 Don't know that I know the band, though. Hmm. Okay. Okay. Not the Eagles. Not the, um, Chris Skinner? Is that, is that like a rock band? Leonard Skinner is sticking with me, but I don't think that's correct. I'm going with Leonard Skinner. Incorrect. Eddie?
Starting point is 00:44:07 That is ACDC. Correct. Come on. Eddie's up three to two. Oh, wow. So I have to get this. You ever seen the movie Gremlin's? No.
Starting point is 00:44:18 In Gremlin's, what substance caused the adorable creatures to turn into monsters? A substance? Yeah. If they had what, it turned them into monsters. Those are, they look like little fur babies, right? Yep. But then they turned into evil little monsters, but what made them? They ate.
Starting point is 00:44:42 I would start like a popular king. Andy y'all ate back then. Excuse me, quit saying y'all. I mean, like, apples? Oranges? I don't know. I'm just naming food now. Need an answer, Morgan?
Starting point is 00:45:02 Apples. Apples is incorrect. Eddie? A lot more simple than that. It's water. Water. What? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:45:11 And Eddie wins. It's all tied out of two to. Nice job. Hey, before we start this game, what did I say? I'm like, I need a win today. I felt it and I did it. Okay. Tony Robbins.
Starting point is 00:45:22 Thank you. Did Tony Robbins? You say that? Every day, I have some weird quote. Eddie's our big winner today. Elder versus a millennial. He's the only one clapping. Now we're all clapping.
Starting point is 00:45:31 There we go. Amy, when you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? Oh, probably a veterinarian and then a news anchor. Both, huh? Well, yeah, veterinarian is early on when I was like a little little kid. And then high school, like for career day, I went to the local news station. I've never heard you once say you wanted to be a news anchor.
Starting point is 00:45:50 Oh yeah. Remember, I was obsessed with Judy DiMaggio. And so much so later, when I did have a career in sales, she came into the place where I worked and I had her sign something unofficially. Like I, it's like, we're going to need your signature right here for this. She was a local news person. And I thought I wanted to do that, but didn't even major her in that in college. I moved on. Eddie, what did you want to be when you grew up? Rockstar. 100%. Yeah. Lunchbox? Anything famous. I was going to be on the real work. and then it was going to take off, but really army, because I liked camouflage. Didn't you at one point, this is the long-lost story of lunchbox?
Starting point is 00:46:23 He claims he almost got a call back for real world. Oh, no, I did. I went and tried out. I drove from San Antonio, Texas to College Station, Texas, and tried out at the, what's that called, the Dixie Chicken, Amy? That is what's called the Dixie Chene. Yeah, I tried out there, and I drove back to San Antonio, and I had a night class economics, and I was like, I might as well go to class, and I got home that night,
Starting point is 00:46:43 and there was a call from 3-2-3. And I asked my roommate, I said, hey, who called you from 3-2-3? I was, I don't know that number. Ask my other roommate. Who called you from 3-2-3? Don't know who that is. Look it up, L.A.
Starting point is 00:46:55 They were calling me back. They wanted me back. But they had to call you again. They wouldn't just call Watson. No, that was it. They moved on. It was over. That was my shot.
Starting point is 00:47:03 And what I learned is, when you go audition for things, don't go to class. And why didn't they call my cell phone? I had a cell phone. I put my cell phone number down, but they called the house phone. back when those were a thing.
Starting point is 00:47:14 And they didn't leave a voicemail. And that was it. And I missed my shot. It was very, I was so crushed. We don't know if they were really offering you a spot. But they wanted to at least re-interview me. Like, hey, bring him back. Like, this dude's good.
Starting point is 00:47:27 Great. Bam. Well, I'd like to share a story now that I've just learned. Did you know if Scoobba Steve was offered a spot on the real world officially? What? Back in the day? Did you know that? No.
Starting point is 00:47:37 No. Like on the real world, real world? Scoot it. Yes. On the actual real world. So this was like 2007. when the internet was kind of popping. His lunchboxes put his hand on his head.
Starting point is 00:47:47 He is now distraught. Go ahead. And the sad part is, I'll preface this. I had to turn it down. So they did an... What the heck you mean you had to turn it down? If you're applying for real world, why would you ever turn it down? It was for love.
Starting point is 00:47:58 Go ahead. So what had happened was they did an online submission for their last castmate on Real World Hollywood, which I've always wanted to be on some sort of reality television show at that point in time of my life. So we did this huge campaign. I was in a band, as we talked about before. and at every show we promote to vote for me to the audience.
Starting point is 00:48:16 I promoted on MySpace, like heavily. I got all kinds of people to vote for me. And I got to the top. And it was between me and another guy. They chose me. But at the same time, though, I was going out after this one girl who became my ex-wife. And she gave me the ultimatum. Like, hey, you can either go this whole reality route.
Starting point is 00:48:33 I'm out. Or you choose me. I unfortunately chose her. I turned down real world. They went with this other guy from Daytona Beach, Florida. Florida, and he ended up not doing really well on the show. But I turned it down for love, which was an awful mistake because I would have loved to be in a real world.
Starting point is 00:48:49 Scoobie Steve was offered a spot on the real world. That is the worst news I've ever heard in my life. Oh, my God. Like, it makes me sick because I don't know how scuba Steve is more interesting than me. I'm way more interesting than you, especially at that time of my life, I was the coolest kid on the block. I was in a rock band, I had a lot to offer. The fact that he turned it down for a chick.
Starting point is 00:49:10 Like people that go on the real world are so stupid when they go on with a girlfriend or boyfriend back home. Like it's really going to work. You are there to party and to hook up. And you, I can't believe you turned it down for a chick. How dumb. Like, why would you go through the whole process if you have a girlfriend and you're going to turn it down because of her? Well, I met her through that process when I was in the band. She was a bartender.
Starting point is 00:49:32 One of the bars. So you only knew it for like a couple months? A couple weeks, actually. Oh my God. Oh, my guys. Come on. How stupid can you be to turn something down that you've known for? for someone for two weeks. It was pretty stupid.
Starting point is 00:49:42 I admit it. It was a dumb choice. Because obviously she's my ex-wife. She cheated on me. So it was a horrible decision to have gone with her versus the real world. I didn't know ScoobisD was married twice. Me neither. When he said F's wife a second ago. I caught her cheat on Ashley Madison. Hold. Wait, what?
Starting point is 00:49:59 I mean, lunch. Scumption has so many interesting stories. It's always it's like we're unwinding this most interesting man in radio. And that's why I got offered a spot in the real world. I'm starting to believe it. Do you talk about that story? When it happened, yeah, because I was in San Francisco on the radio.
Starting point is 00:50:14 Don't share too much. I want to save it. Yeah, it was a whole month play out. We just did a bunch of things with it. That's how I found my new wife, too, was through that process. Through Ashley Madison? Was she seen on her again? No, no. Scoob and Steve, our executive producer, who comes on about once every couple days, but always with just like the perfect nugget.
Starting point is 00:50:31 And today it was that he turned down Real World, and I knew it would drive lunchmox crazy because that's been his biggest goal in life. My biggest goal in life since I was like 12 years old. I'd watch Real World, Miami, Boston, San Francisco, and I was like, I'm going to be on that show, or road rules. And it just never happened. And that means you could be on the challenge, Scuba. I know.
Starting point is 00:50:49 Trust me, I'm killing myself about it too right now. You could be going for millions of dollars in these competitions. Instead, you turn it down for a girl you knew for two weeks. And Hollywood was a terrible season anyway, so. Do you want to get Scoobas autograph before I play song? No. The Babo Show. Here's Amy's Pile of Stories.
Starting point is 00:51:06 So Thomas Rett put up an unreleased song on Instagram. that he wrote a few weeks ago, and the inspiration came from when he was dropping his daughter, Lennon, off, at Lauren's mom's house. So the song is called Your Mama's Front Door, and I'm going to let you listen to a little bit. That time it broke up, I forget now what for? But I bowed broke down your mama's front door.
Starting point is 00:51:31 Today it just hid me that I got some history with every square inch of that faded brick porch. Okay, so since he has known his wife, since he was a kid, when he was dropping linen off, he was like, wow, I have got different stages of my life from 15 to now 30. I've a lot of different versions of me have walked through the store. So your mama's front door inspired the song. That's pretty cool concept. I like too when they put songs up early. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:52:00 Because then I'm like, I don't like that one. And then when they put it out, I'm like, I ain't going to hear that one. But some of them like that one I do like. All right, what else? So what would you do if you were in a coma? During coronavirus and you woke up and you had to learn all about the virus. I would think people were playing jokes on me. Right.
Starting point is 00:52:17 Sometimes I'll do the thing where I just close my eyes and I go, okay, I'm going to open my eyes in 30 seconds. And if I were describing this to myself two years ago, what would I say? And I open my eyes. And reporters are in masks. Yeah. And it's like the vaccine. And I would think the world was ending if I didn't know. Like if I were just to open my eyes from two years ago today and see the news and the headlines.
Starting point is 00:52:38 And I would be like, oh my God. This is an alien evasion? Are zombies attacking? It's that weird. Yeah, so this 19-year-old Joseph Flaville, he went into a coma after he got hit by a car. He was walking down the side of a street, hit by a car, was in the hospital on March 1st, 2020, when unconscious was in a coma. And he recently came back and had to consciousness. And guess what?
Starting point is 00:53:02 When he was unconscious, he got coronavirus. What the? I guess for maybe. And he didn't know about it. That's kind of. The health worker? Yeah, he didn't know about it. And then during rehab, he got it again.
Starting point is 00:53:14 And so he not only didn't even know about the pandemic, but he's having to experience it. Let's also not lose the real story here. The guy got hit by a car and then came out of a coma. He was in for a year and lived. You think you had a bad 2020? Right. Good point. Hey, speaking to that, there was a woman who gave birth while in a coma and she was fighting COVID
Starting point is 00:53:34 and just recently met her baby for the first time. Wow. So much happening there. Mm-hmm. Did they do, I guess they had to do a Cisterian? Don't know. Don't know. Don't care. Ain't my thing.
Starting point is 00:53:47 I saw that Ford, you know, Ford Motor, they are putting out a clear N95 mask that can aid the hearing impaired, which I think is a cool invention. But also, too, I think it's great for even teachers. I think about kids that are in school and teachers are having to be in masks and how much they're missing out on expressions and what the teachers are. teachers trying to say and learning. So shout out to Ford, because they've been granted the patent to make this mask. Or waiters. What? No, yeah.
Starting point is 00:54:21 What kind of soup is that? Oh, yeah, for better understanding what anybody's saying. I know. So they plan on starting to produce these in the springtime. Okay. Yep, I'm Amy. That's my pile. That was Amy's pile of stories. It's time for the good news.
Starting point is 00:54:37 With Amy. Tell me something good. So shout out to Kelly Klein. She's a kindergarten teacher who unfortunately her cancer returned. But with virtual learning, she hasn't missed a day of school even while getting her chemo. In fact, she sits there and her kids even see her getting the chemo while she's on the virtual learning. And I've got a clip of her talking about what her students mean to her. What better way to spend four or five hours than my five-year-olds?
Starting point is 00:55:06 It makes the time pass quickly. makes me smile. It's real easy to go down the Y meet. And I think if I didn't have five-year-olds to teach every day, I would spend a lot of time thinking about that. Wow, that's great. It's awesome. She hasn't missed a day of work. And she's been able to keep working because of being able to work from home. Yep. Eddie, do you feel like that with five-year-olds? Um, no, not really. No, I had. No, no, no, no. Yeah, you've had a couple of them at this point. What's the best age, Eddie, so far, because you've 13 all the way on the baby. Yes.
Starting point is 00:55:40 Four kids. I would say the four-year-old age, before kindergarten, right, and then the two-year-old's terrible. So there's like the two-year-old, terrible twos, then there's a three-nager, and then four, it's like you get to enjoy their personalities and they're growing up. When do they start to get kind of crappy again? I would say 13. Oh, right now you're old. Now it's getting tough.
Starting point is 00:56:03 All right, that's what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good. Starting point is 00:59:47 Morning studio. I have a joke for Amy. Do trees poop? How do you think we get number two pencils? Anyway, love the show. Bye. That's a good one. I love it.
Starting point is 00:59:59 That's very funny. Now it is time for the investigative corny where Amy reads us a joke We have 90 seconds to figure it out ourselves. And action. A morning corny. What do you call a droid that takes the long way around? What do you call a droid that takes the long way around?
Starting point is 01:00:22 Okay, let me help. Starts now, go. Long droids. So the droids are like Star Wars, like C-3PO. R2D2 are droids. Okay. R2-2-long. R-Tor.
Starting point is 01:00:36 Detour. D-Tor. God! Lunchbox! You nailed it. That's a you two. I had nothing to do with that one. R2D. I wouldn't have known C3PO or R2D2. I didn't even know what that meant. So what's the answer? R2Dor?
Starting point is 01:00:48 Yes, for sure. Or is it just... They took an R2D tour? Yes. That's it. That's it. And I think it's funny. So yes. Okay. We feel good about that? I still have a little time left, so... Do you want to plug anything? Follow me on Instagram, Mr. Bobby Bones.
Starting point is 01:01:02 Check out Discovery Plus. Sleep number, rocks. Oh, man. Let me tell you about hello. Oh my gosh, we can't say enough about it. Code Bones 10, wow. Draft Kings? We're just code.
Starting point is 01:01:13 Code Bobby. What is it? Draft King? Bones. We're just crushing it. I never remember the code to draft. Okay, let's go over. Here we go. A morning corny.
Starting point is 01:01:25 What do you call a droid that takes the long way around? What do you call a droid that takes the long way around? R2 Ditor! Yeah! Woo! Good up, boys.
Starting point is 01:01:37 Whoo! Clear eyes. Cool hearts can't lose. Don't get a job me. That was you two. I have nothing to do it. Eddie, I'm glad you're a nerd and you watch that stuff. We would have never got there.
Starting point is 01:01:47 Okay. And we just won a scholarship. That meant a lot to us. Here is Jenna from Minneapolis who left this voicemail last night. Morning studio. I really appreciated the longer post shows lately. They are my favorite part of the podcast. I feel like I'm sitting in the room with you guys having just a discussion with my friends.
Starting point is 01:02:06 You mentioned how you don't know if the listeners love the post show. and I can tell you that we do. So please keep doing it. And thanks for all you guys do. Thanks, Jenna. We do our whole radio show. We posted it as a podcast, but we also do extra at the beginning of it.
Starting point is 01:02:19 We kind of talk about what happened on the show, stuff we didn't get to. Sometimes it's longer form. We get to do longer things. So check out the Bobby Bone Show, post show, pre-show. It's on the podcast. So check that out.
Starting point is 01:02:29 Hey, by the way, Eddie, I see over there. What did your wife say about you being able to ride a Harley? She okayed it. She did. Boys and girls. She said, yes. To buy one? She said absolutely.
Starting point is 01:02:40 No, no, no, she wants me to get one for free. So she wants me just to kind of hit all the dealerships out and see if I can get one for free. But she says, I'm cool with it, but one condition. I have to take her out on a country ride once a month. Oh, she wants to ride with her? You've never even been on one. No, I know.
Starting point is 01:02:55 But I guess she's picturing us, you know, like going down the country roads with her in the back, like, holding my waist. Like me just, I got you, babe. No. Which I'm like, of course. We can do that twice a week. I'm going to need you to want like several years of experience before I would ever get on a bike. And a helmet covering each hole on your body. Just another breaks.
Starting point is 01:03:16 Why holes? Where your body has a hole, that's an extremely valuable position. and see if I can get a class in there. By the way, this is not an endorsement. What's funny about this? Not a commercial. But if you can't turn this into something. Eddie's hoping it will be, yeah.
Starting point is 01:03:44 That's on you and our sales team. I agree. So we're on it, dude. So now we need to get you some leather. Eddie's going to wreck it. We're on it like rubber on pavement, brother. Eddie's going to wreck a Harley. I'm calling it right now.
Starting point is 01:03:53 No, no, no, no, no. That's what my kid said. This is a terrible story. My kid said that I'm like, no, guys, guys, I'm not going to go more than 30 miles per hour. All back roads. Nah. I want to cruise. We have a email,
Starting point is 01:04:05 that you guys can send in questions or comments, and we bring a lot of them up inside the mailbag. If you do want to reach out, Morgan, what's that address? Mailbag at bobbybones.com. Okay, let's open it up. Bobby's Mailbag. Hey, Bobby Bones, I know you love sports, so I thought you might be interested in this clip from the Republic High School Boys basketball game last week. Anyway, my son, Jack, 19 years old, he's calling the game.
Starting point is 01:04:29 He's a college student in Springfield at MSU and is double majoring in business and journalism. He loves sports. I would love to announce for a pro team or manage a professional baseball team. He's had the opportunity over the last four or five months to call a few different games, soccer, softball, football, basketball. I know you did some announcing in college. Just wondering if you have any advice from my son on how to improve. He's gotten a lot of positive feedback. Let me know what you think.
Starting point is 01:04:56 Okay, here's a clip from YouTube. Here we go. Someone's got to set a screen and just let him shoot it. And there it is. Knocks it down. 16. Three-pointers for McMillan, and that gives him the school record for points in the game. 58 points in the game for McMillan. Tigers are going to be hard-pressed.
Starting point is 01:05:13 We're going to be hard-pressed to see individual performance that good for a long time on Republic Tiger Sports, I have a feeling. He's already better than some of the people on ESPN Network, on SEC Network. I watch some of those college games on the app. He's already better than them. Listen, all it takes is in any situation, even this one, drive. and a commitment to get better and to be coachable. Right? So, of course.
Starting point is 01:05:37 Hey, Jack, chase this. You're already pretty good. You're 19 years old. When I was in college, I did football, play, by play, basketball, play by play. It was much better football than I was basketball. But, you know, I just did it and got better at the reps that I was taking, doing so many games traveling across the country. And that's what it's all about.
Starting point is 01:05:55 It's just doing it over and over and over again. But it's not pretty good for 19. He already has a better voice than I do. Here I am 40. What do you think? Oh, no, I mean, I think he has talent, and I don't, I don't have anything to compare him to. So there's that. I do my sports announcing myself on football.
Starting point is 01:06:13 And you do a great job at being entertaining. Thank you. Yeah, you're welcome. Jack, go get it. Eddie, what you think? I like it, man. I mean, you're right, he does sound better than a lot of these guys. You hear on them now.
Starting point is 01:06:22 Those, like, Fox Sports ones where it's like. We're taking shots at everybody. The regional ones where it's like, yeah. Like, what would be an example of what they do? Are they like? They get the players wrong. They don't understand what the rep's saying. I was watching the game the other night.
Starting point is 01:06:35 And they're like, what a dunk! What they called traveling, like 20 seconds ago. They're like, yeah, I got to dunk it because nobody was in the lane because they called traveling. Yeah. No, Jack's already got it. Jack, you got it, buddy. Hang in there. I like that.
Starting point is 01:06:47 I'm not going to mentor you because I got out of that line. It's not easy, dude. I did that once in college. That's so hard. You did? Yes. You, Eddie, you called a, or what is it called? I did it one time, and I was the color.
Starting point is 01:07:00 I couldn't be the play-by-play. and this is so hard. My brain hurt after we were done. I'm like, I can't do this ever again. What game? It was a college basketball. Sam Houston State, Bearcats. Do you win like a raffle?
Starting point is 01:07:10 No, I was in the communications department. Oh, that's make a wish. We had to do it. And they were like, oh, it's the last time you're doing it. Wait, so what's the color? Like, you just add fun words? Play-by-play would be actually describing the action. Right.
Starting point is 01:07:23 Color would be adding insight to the description of the action. You want to give her example, bones? Sure. So, Eddie, you can do play by play. No, no, no, I'll be color. Let him be color because that's what he had to do in school. That's his experience. I'll describe a guy walking down the street, okay?
Starting point is 01:07:35 Go ahead. All right, there he is. It looks like he's some blue jeans. He's got white shoes on. He's starting to move forward. Oh, yeah. You know, moving forward's kind of an easy thing to do because we've been doing that our whole lives.
Starting point is 01:07:43 Don't you agree, Bobby? Yeah. Okay, he's looking to the left right now. He might steal that guy's wallet. I'm kind of watching. He's moving his hand closer to the back of his pants. I wouldn't. I wouldn't say he's going to steal his wallet bones.
Starting point is 01:07:53 It looks like a nice guy to me. Oh, he stole his wallet. Oh, my goodness. and now he's taking the cash and he's running with it. Wow, I'm not believing this, friends. All right, let's go to commercial because I was way wrong. Sorry about that, Bob. That's play about playing color.
Starting point is 01:08:05 Okay. Was that good? That's very good. Hey, if we were describing people walking down the street, we got a gig. Right, a game, not so much. All right. Jack, keep it up, buddy. Thanks for that email.
Starting point is 01:08:14 Close up that mailbag. And that was Bobby's mailbag. Quite possibly the dumbest segment we've ever done. Earlier in the show, Scuba Steve mentioned he'd been married once before. I don't even know he'd been married before. Scova Steve is our executive producer. He sits in the glass room. He kind of slides this out.
Starting point is 01:08:35 And then he says his ex-wife cheated on him. And he caught her. So we've all just been sitting here waiting for the update on the story or just to let us know what happened. How did you catch your ex-wife cheating on you? So I had this feeling that something was going down. Something wasn't right. She was working late nights.
Starting point is 01:08:53 How long were you married? Less than a year. We had just moved from Orlando to San Francisco, like picked up my whole life, went there, quit my job and everything for her. And so I kind of was living off of her salary only at the moment. So she was my everything. So I relied on her for all of everything,
Starting point is 01:09:09 bills, food, the whole thing. So I didn't want to say anything for a while. And then one night she was passed out drunk and her phone was blowing up. Like so many different texts. And it was like two or three o'clock in the morning. And I had just watched a Dr. Phil episode early that day about Ashley Madison.
Starting point is 01:09:26 because it was kind of new. This was like 2009, 2010. And that's the website where you could go and cheat on your significant other. Yes, and it was still new. It wasn't known as it is today. And I saw a bunch of guys' names on her phone, like Jack, A.M., David, A.m., Jeff, A.m. And I was like, A.m. And they're popping up, and they're like, oh, I miss you. I love you. Can't wait to take you to Hawaii. Like, things like of that nature. And I was like, what? And I'm not the kind of person to go through someone's phone. but at that point, I was like, I'm doing it.
Starting point is 01:09:57 So what is that initial feeling when you're reading this? Are you more confused or are you angry early? I wasn't confused because I had that inkling that something was going down. Why was there an inkling? Because she was working a lot of late nights, and her job didn't require that to be working that late. She worked at a daycare. She worked at a hotel, the Fairmont, down the street from where we were living in San Francisco.
Starting point is 01:10:19 So, I mean, there were some times that events would happen and she'd have to work late, but not almost every single day. So she just wasn't coming home. Would you see her when she would come home? Sometimes I was asleep because I was at, I got to a point where I did get a job and I was working mornings and radio, so I would get up around three or four and we'd cross pass. As I was leaving for work, she'd be coming home.
Starting point is 01:10:36 And I was then thinking, and I was like, why are you getting home at 3 or 4 o'clock in the morning, smelling like alcohol? But then one time it happened and I just, I had had it. That's when I went through the phone. Okay, so you see all the AM, which stands for Ashley Madison. Correct. And are those texts or are those like DMs inside of the Ashley Madison account. These are texts. So she's given her phone number to these people to
Starting point is 01:10:58 reach out to her. Either they've been together in the past or they're setting up a meeting. Okay. So she's employed by, or sorry, I'm just, I, because Ashley Madison, so she was a on there trying to meet guys, but did they pay for it? No. No, I don't think she was a process. No, that's exactly. Oh, God. It's a different website. It's just a dating website. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. It's basically, you know, it's all good. It's basically a way for people to cheat under the radar. Not anymore, obviously. So what's your move once you start to see this?
Starting point is 01:11:27 So I see the texts and I get into her phone and I see more and more text and I see the exchanges and I'm really upset and then I'm starting to dig. Now I'm just curious. Are there a lot of them? A lot. Over 10? Under 10, but anything more than one's a lot in my opinion. I would say closer to five or six.
Starting point is 01:11:43 So then I notice on her email, she's got multiple emails, which we all have, like an Outlook, a Gmail or whatever. But one of them has the name Chloe. Her name's not Chloe. And I'm like, Chloe something at Gmail. So I'm like, now I'm sleuthing. So I went through that email and I found pictures that she had sent to these guys in like lingerie, like very sexy thirst dropping type photos.
Starting point is 01:12:06 And I was at the point where I'd had it. And it had been a while of me kind of holding this on. And so I took those emails and I forwarded them to her father. Nice. Hold on a minute. Power point. Hold on. Hold on.
Starting point is 01:12:19 What? Let me take one step back. Let me take one step back. Okay. All right. Did you address this with her as you saw the text or the emails? I didn't because she was out. Oh, you did all this in the span of like half an hour?
Starting point is 01:12:31 Yeah, 30 minutes or less. Yeah. It was like, I escalated it pretty quickly. Okay, but why her dad? Why not? That's pretty good. Hey, listen, if you're going to go. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:12:39 Okay, so why her dad, really? I feel like he was, because he had kind of given me the talk before we got married. Like, hey, just want to give you a heads up. Great daughter and all. But she may be a little bit of this kind of a person. and I kind of took the advice. The dad said his daughter was... Yeah, and even my friends kind of gave me the
Starting point is 01:12:57 like, hey, you know how it is when you date somebody and someone tells you advice? Like, hey, I don't think this is a good situation, you shouldn't do this, or she is a bad person or guy is a bad person. You don't want to hear it because you're in love. You're literally blocking out all the advice from your friends and family, which is what I did. You had your friends and family telling you
Starting point is 01:13:13 probably wouldn't hear. He had her family telling him. Oh, yeah, that's next level. Yeah, but I was like, you guys are wrong. You know, I can change her. I can make her love me. So you forward them to her dad in the middle of the night? Yes. Okay, then you go to work? Then go to work.
Starting point is 01:13:27 And you wait? I wait. Life goes on for about a week. A week. Wow. Pops didn't hit you up at 7 a.m. when he got up. He's like in his 50s, so he checks his email like once a week. Okay.
Starting point is 01:13:39 So he checks his email. But you don't say anything to her all those days? I kind of let it blow over. Not really. For me, I like to let things play out. Because at this point, I caught her. I knew I caught her. And I want to see what happens.
Starting point is 01:13:50 You were still sleeping in the bed with her even though you caught her and you knew she was cheating. Wasn't sleeping with her, but slept the same bed, yes. Right. Did you ever kiss her? No, we hadn't done it for almost a year at that point. Okay. So that was another sign. Pretty much. Because you were married a year.
Starting point is 01:14:02 Yeah. Okay. Okay, so you're waiting. So we're waiting. And then all of a sudden one day I come home from work and she's like, what did you do? What did you do? And I was like, I wanted to see what you had to say. She was, you said my dad some photos.
Starting point is 01:14:14 And I was like, whoa, it's besides the point. What did you do? What were you doing? And why were you sending these photos? It doesn't matter. You can't send it to my father. And I was like, I don't care. What you have to say at this moment, what you did is 100% wrong.
Starting point is 01:14:26 We need to look at this issue and figure this out. What were you doing? And why were you doing it? Blew up, had this huge argument. And then we were looking at like, we didn't have kids. And I wanted kids. And she's like, you know what? I don't want kids anymore.
Starting point is 01:14:39 I don't want to be with you. And I was like, great, perfect. I don't be with you either. You're out. So I kicked her out of the apartment that she was paying for. Had to go stay with a friend. And I ended up living there. And then I got a raise at work and was able to afford it on my own for a while.
Starting point is 01:14:55 But we had talked about it on the radio because I was working in morning radio, San Francisco, which of course was great content for the show. And then, yeah, she was gone. And I'm the kind of person. If you do me wrong, I wipe you out of my life. And I never had to think about you, delete you for my life. You're gone. So at that moment, we were done and got the divorce going.
Starting point is 01:15:14 I did all the work for the divorce, paid for it out of the very little bit of money that I had. And we were done. That was it. What's she up to now? I have no idea. What she's doing now. We care less. That was it.
Starting point is 01:15:26 That was it, yeah. She never said, hey, I'm sorry. Never apologized, but wanted to make sure that when we were in San Francisco on the radio that I never mentioned her name, didn't say that it was her. Even though everyone that was listening knew it was her because that's who I was married to. Did she stay in San Francisco? For a while she did. And then I eventually left San Francisco, so I don't know where she is at this point. moment. What about her dad? Have you, do you still talk to him? We're still Facebook friends. He likes
Starting point is 01:15:53 my photos and he loves me. Like him and I had a great relationship. That's the part that sucked. I was great with her family, but just not with her. Well, if you look to the door here, come on in. Here she is. I mean, I wouldn't be surprised. Jerry. Just didn't work on it. And it's fine. And I at the moment, of course, I was very upset. But I look at it now and it's probably the best thing that happened to me because it pushed me into the next direction. What about her attracted you and created Such a blinder. I think it was her looks, and I was young and stupid.
Starting point is 01:16:24 I was 21 when we met. So I was young and dumb. Her looks, her body, and the way that she gave me attention, that no one else gave me that kind of attention. Yeah, she's given that to a lot of folks. Yeah, she was good at that. Oh, Chloe. Chloe had a special skill.
Starting point is 01:16:42 Is it hard for Scova to talk about this? Because, I mean, it's hard to listen to. No, he sounds like he's laughing about it the whole way through. Because it's been how many years? Oh, it's been 10 years, 11 years. Does it hurt still? No, it doesn't hurt at all. At the moment, I was crying when it happened.
Starting point is 01:16:56 Because I didn't want to tell my family because I was hoping I could fix this. And, of course, couldn't. But now I could care less. It's just another chapter in my book. I still have hope you can fix it. I don't. No, you know. Reach out to her today.
Starting point is 01:17:09 All right, scuba. Thanks for sharing. Of course, man. Anytime. Isn't that a crazy story? It's crazy. Wow. It almost is like so crazy.
Starting point is 01:17:16 It doesn't seem real. And the fact that he emailed her dad before telling her. That's great. And then he just let it sit there and let it marinate. I would never have been able to let it marinate. It had been showtime immediately. Well, yeah, but you wouldn't go to the parents. No, I would post it all on Instagram. No, you would not.
Starting point is 01:17:34 It's time for the good news. With producer Eddie. Tell me something good. There's a 72-year-old woman from Alabama who has leukemia. Well, she got corona. and so everyone was really worried about her. It turns out right after she gets her symptoms, she's got about 104 fever for a couple of days,
Starting point is 01:17:54 then the fever goes away. And they're like, oh, wow, I guess she recovered. This is amazing. Well, now 33 days later, she relapses. She has double pneumonia in her lungs. And they're thinking, like, this is a bad situation for her. So she goes to the hospital, and her son-in-law says, you know what?
Starting point is 01:18:09 I just got COVID-2. I have antibodies. I'm going to donate my plasma. Well, they give her his plasma. And, I mean, she has recovered. The University of Alabama, the researchers are like, this is, we've never seen anything like this. They're happy about it. They're trying to find out more about it.
Starting point is 01:18:24 But this is amazing. She's back home and recovered. How old is she? 72 years old. Wow. Pretty amazing, man. I think Caitlin's grandfather was 82, I believe. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:18:35 82, 83? Yeah. And he's, I think, on the other side of it, he's still wearing machines. Yeah, well, when they found out this lady had leukemia, I mean, this is like some very, very immune compromise. So pretty awesome. That is awesome. Learning more about it every day. That's what it's all about.
Starting point is 01:18:52 That was Tell Me Something Good. Starting point is 01:22:36 Bobby's Big. Story. The Golden Globes are out, which is Basically TV, right? There's some movie stuff too. For me, it's like TV shot. And so, best television series and musical or comedy here were they five nominees.
Starting point is 01:22:53 Emily and Paris, the flight attendant, the great, S. Creek and Ted Lassau. And I've seen three of these five. Same. Here's who will win, and here's who should win. Who will win is S. Creek. Good show. Who should win is Ted Lassow. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:23:12 When a show is going away on his final season, they tend to get that bump. Yeah, that's a big show. I think a lot of people know about that. Absolutely. Ted Lasso is awesome. He'll come in and win maybe another year. When they're done, they'll win. They said they only want that show to go three seasons.
Starting point is 01:23:28 Depressing. Maybe they'll change their minds. Best Drama series, The Crown, Lovecraft Country on HBO. I don't know what that is. The Mandalorian, Ozark, and Ratchet. Ooh. Everybody I know that watches the Mandalorian loves it. You watch it?
Starting point is 01:23:46 No, I have not watched it. I have tried. I don't like it. Well. But what do I know? My husband likes it. My theory just went to S Creek. That probably wins.
Starting point is 01:24:01 What was that HBO one you said? Lovecraft Country. Okay, I'm going to check that out. Ozark is my favorite from this. Mm-hmm. But I've only watched Ozark and the Crown. But Ozarks coming back for one more season. Can't wait.
Starting point is 01:24:14 Soon. I think the spring Ozark is back for its final season. I'm going to the Ozarks next weekend. And I don't know. I feel like am I going to be in that same place where they are? No. Oh. You and Abby.
Starting point is 01:24:26 All right. Other news. Bobby's. Other. Story. Rapper Lil Uzi Vert gets a massive 11-karrot pink diamond. Pierced into his forehead. The diamond is worth upwards of 20.
Starting point is 01:24:42 $24 million. Whoa. The rapper shared last month that he had been making payments for the large rock. And you know what? No shame in making payments on a $24 million rock. I get it. If other rappers give him a hard time, that's $24 million. Listen, I was on layaway for a lot of my school clothes as a kid.
Starting point is 01:25:03 Little Uzi Ert's on layaway for a $24 million diamond. That's crazy. What, Amy? Well, isn't he just asking to get decapitated or something? Oh, my gosh. Like Thanos? Geez. I like that to rip it off his forehead?
Starting point is 01:25:18 Yeah, is that that superhero with the thing? No, he's got like the glove and all those rocks on his hands, but... Oh, yeah, no, but there's another superhero that has a rock in his head. Vision. Vision. Oh, yeah. Yeah, I don't know about that guy yet. That's pretty new.
Starting point is 01:25:32 There's a show on Disney called on. You like that show? Well, I like that show? I don't think so. Why not? Both of you guys? I like superheroes. I don't know.
Starting point is 01:25:40 The show's interesting. My daughter likes it, so we watch it. I'm two seasons into Cobra Kai now. Yeah? Middle of the second season. It is so cheesy, but it still got me in. I like it for some reason. Usually I'm off.
Starting point is 01:25:54 And I was not a bit karate kid guy as a kid either. So it's not, you know, just old school keeping me there. That's what I'm watching now. That in Kids' Bacon Championship, obviously. Of course. Finally, insomnia searches are at an all-time high. I've been talking about how I can't sleep. I didn't sleep last night.
Starting point is 01:26:11 I come in here, exhausted. I feel like my words are slurring a little bit because I'm getting no sleep and I'm going to bed on. I'm doing everything right. I'm eating right. I'm exercising. I am putting the phone away before I go to sleep. Everything that I normally do I'm doing and it's still not working out for me. So that's where it is.
Starting point is 01:26:31 But apparently this has happened with a lot of folks. All right. Thank you. That's the news. Bobby's big. Story. Let's go over and talk to Courtney in Ohio. Courtney, welcome to the Bobby Bone Show.
Starting point is 01:26:43 show how are you? Good, how are you? Pretty good, what's going on? Well, when I was listening to the show, when you guys were talking about not being afraid to fight lunchbox, it reminded me of when I first started listening to the show several years ago, like lunchbox was always so full of himself, and I just pictured him being this bulky, like, meathead, I guess, so to speak. And when I finally seen a picture of him, I was like.
Starting point is 01:27:13 Like, are you serious? That's Lunchbox because nobody would be afraid to fight him. So people know, Lunchbox said he wouldn't fight Morgan because she's a girl, which we all think because she'd beat him up, she boxes. But he said he would fight Amy, even though I... I'm for sure a girl. Amy's a girl.
Starting point is 01:27:34 So Courtney's point is she looked up Lunchbox online and thought he'd be a big meathead for as much crap as he talks. Actually, the meathead, no offense, Ray. That's you. Congratulations. Yeah! That's what Raimundo kind of looks like. Stalky guy.
Starting point is 01:27:49 Got a big build. Lunchbox is the opposite of that, right? If you, I mean, in your eyes, yeah, but I mean, I'm a big dude, but whatever. We like them, though. Hey, Courtney, I appreciate you calling us. Yep. All right. Have a good day.
Starting point is 01:28:04 I didn't like the way she kind of laughed when she said she looked at me, but whatever. I think you just put off a different vibe than what people see when they look at you for the first time. Well, I mean, I don't know what they expect. I mean, just a self-confident big dude that'll take care of business. Yeah, okay. Amy, if you follow a big celebrity online, do you expect to be completely relatable to them or them to you? No, not at all. I don't either, and I understand that when I'm following somebody that's obviously a multimillionaire and has a wild amount of fame,
Starting point is 01:28:35 that their lives aren't going to be the same as mine. And you know what, I'd rather than be honest and share their lives, then have to hold things back. Right. I think, I don't, what happened? Who was it? Chrissy Teigen put out a tweet and goes, hey, what's the most expensive thing that you've eaten
Starting point is 01:28:50 and then you went, oh, that wasn't worth it? Because there have been times we've been to a restaurant. I tell you, for me, whenever you get those mushrooms, what are they called? Truffles. You get $19? It's like nothing? $19 extra?
Starting point is 01:29:04 They're like, you should really try the truffles. They're fantastic tonight. You're like, you know, I'm feeling fancy? I iron my pants. Nothing. To me, trust. Trouples are nothing. So now that I think about it, that's what I would answer. Nothing.
Starting point is 01:29:16 Paying for truffles. That's a dumb. Do you like troubles? I mean, I like chocolate truffles, but I'm told that's not the same thing. It's not the same thing. A trouble is a mushroom or a fungi or something. Well, her and her husband John Legend were at dinner and the waitress offered them wine. It's like, hey, there's wine. So they drank the wine. It was a $13,000 bottle of wine. They didn't know that until they were halfway through it. Wow. And so she told the story and people were beating her up going, you're just not relatable. And I'm going, duh, she's not relatable.
Starting point is 01:29:44 Yeah. Not only is she super successful when she's married to John Legend, who's like equally successful. What in the world? You're shaming her for sharing her life. Being a, listen, $13 for a bottle of wine. That's crazy. It is crazy, right? But there are people in other countries, third world countries, who look at us and go, $70 for a pair of shoes, you're out of your mind.
Starting point is 01:30:09 The same way we would look at that. it's all relative. I don't relate to that, but I don't think I should relate to that. They probably have airplanes and fancy houses on both coasts and just crushing it. But that's okay. That's our life. But she was getting beat up pretty bad. And there's no reason for me to stick up for her. I've met her a couple times. She always been super nice.
Starting point is 01:30:28 But you don't have to relate to everybody. Was she relatable to you? No. I'm complaining about $19 troubles. Yeah, so probably not. But I don't follow everybody to be relatable. I follow people to be entertained, inspired. I follow people to laugh.
Starting point is 01:30:45 Almost nobody to be relatable. On Twitter. Right. So I just thought she was taking lumps for no reason yesterday. Now we're going to miss out on some good stories because she's going to be like, well, this isn't relatable. I don't think she's going to let that hold her back. Yeah, I hope not. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:31:01 No, I do hope not. Let's play the feud. Hit me with that music. All right, there are seven answers on the board. I'm going to go to you. show members here. Okay. There was a story that just came out. Fortune
Starting point is 01:31:16 Magazine has come out with their annual list of the most admired companies in the world. This list is based on Fortune's poll of 3,800 corporate executives, directors, analysts, the top seven most admired companies.
Starting point is 01:31:32 Family feud style. Amy. Apple. Show me Apple! Number one. Okay, you get an A by that one. All right, go ahead. Oh, I keep going.
Starting point is 01:31:45 Oh, Amazon. Show me Amazon. Number two. Let's see. The company. Facebook. Oh, wow. What?
Starting point is 01:32:04 Facebook isn't really loved. Yeah, people hate it. I know. I was just thinking of all the, oh, dang, I just thought of a good one. Lunchbox over to you. There are five still left on the board. Man, I'm gonna go with Nike. Show me Nike.
Starting point is 01:32:18 Oh wow, I had that one too. Eddie? Give me Google. Google, Google, Google. Oh, my goodness. That was the next one. Wow. What?
Starting point is 01:32:31 Let me mark that one off. Only two answers are off the board. Hmm. Yeah. Companies. Fortune's seven most admired companies in the world. In the world. I mean, we're not going to know some of these.
Starting point is 01:32:42 know some of these. Yes, you are. You're going to know every one of them. You promise? Yes. The world, though. Think the world. But we dominate the world. Okay. Now you say that. Amy. Man, now I just don't know which direction to go. Coca-Cola. Okay, not that direction, guys. Not that. Don't go there.
Starting point is 01:33:07 Netflix! Oh, yes, that's right. I don't know. Ray hit the wrong button. All right. All right. Lunchbox is on the board. Netflix is at number six. Guys, this is all over the world. Everybody loves it.
Starting point is 01:33:20 Eddie. Oh, sorry. Lunchbox, go again. Give me McDonald's. That one. Eddie, you need to hop in here. All right. Give me Microsoft.
Starting point is 01:33:37 I'm back, baby. There are three answers left on the board. I don't know about this one, but just Elon Musk comes to mine, so I'm going to go Tesla. We'll go around one more time. Apple, Amazon, Microsoft are the top three. Netflix is at number six.
Starting point is 01:33:57 These seven most admired companies, Amy, you have two points right now. Last round. No, all I had written down was Netflix and Microsoft. And you didn't say either, so... No, I went with Coca-Cola. That's why I was, like, wrong direction. I wonder if there's any food brands on there. It's like, well, but Taco Bell, would that be, like, Yum brand?
Starting point is 01:34:20 Could it be Pepsi? Could it be, you have Mikey's not on there? What's the other one? Microsoft, and then what's that other one? Apple? No? Time. Taco Bell.
Starting point is 01:34:33 Nope, incorrect. Watchbox tie it up here. Oh, yeah, guys, come on. This is a worldwide company. It's online. It's called YouTube. Oh, duh. That's it.
Starting point is 01:34:45 That's good. Oh, wow, wow, wow. Eddie, if you get it right here, you go to tiebreaker with Amy. if you miss it, you lose, and Amy wins. I mean, I just went automobile. I don't know, General Motors. All right, Amy, you are the winner. There she is.
Starting point is 01:34:59 Amy, everybody. Okay, here we go. I'm not in touch with the world. Your answers are, at number one, Apple. At number two, Amazon. And number three, Microsoft. At number four, Disney. Oh, my gosh.
Starting point is 01:35:12 Oh, my gosh. Yeah. Idiots. Yeah, stupid. At number five, Starbucks. Oh, wow. Okay. It's a good one.
Starting point is 01:35:19 At number six, Netflix. and at number seven Costco. There she is. Amy's a big winner. She is our champion. What, Amy? What would you like to say? I'm still trying to figure that other computer company. It's Apple, Microsoft, and... Hulip Packard.
Starting point is 01:35:37 Dell. Michael Dell. He's not on there. Is that on there? No. Radio Shack. Circuit City. That's AMU. dot edu slash military so eddie just got his 13 year old son a cell phone how long ago uh christmas i mean it was something i didn't really want to do but he's at that age he's a teenager now and i got to trust him so i said all right let's give him an
Starting point is 01:39:33 iPhone what are the rules with the phone uh he's got hours he can only use it like two or three hours a day he does take it to school but i mean the school kind of takes care of that a lot of kids have phones at school but the teachers manage that pretty well are there any rules about apps or who he can text or call. He can't get any apps on his own. We have to give him permission. When he tries to download an app, I get an alert on my phone to let me know to let it go or not or decline it.
Starting point is 01:39:56 So that's the apps. The texting, he's got a list of people he can text and that's it. If he wants to add anyone, again, it alerts me. So tell everybody what happened. So I guess it doesn't stop people from texting him though with a different number. So he gets a random number that just pops up on text and it says, hey, you want to meet up? Let's chat. And so he does the right thing. So, so proud of him. He runs downstairs like, dad, mom, dad, I got the weirdest text message. I don't know what to do. And it's freaking me out. And I'm like, because we've talked to him about this. We've talked to him about like, hey, there are strangers out there. And this is how they lure kids in. It's a real thing. So you got to worry about this stuff. So I'm quick thinking. I'm like, oh, great, what do I do? What I do? It's an unknown number. I said, let me call the number from my phone. Let me see who this person is. So my heart's beating.
Starting point is 01:40:44 I'm going a little crazy. Like, oh my gosh, I'm about to find this creepster right now. And I'm going to be ear to ear with him on my phone. Phone rings. Guy answers. Hello? I'm like, yeah, who's this? Oh, this is the so-and-so church ministry.
Starting point is 01:40:57 We're just calling random people. He's like, yeah, you called me and I want to know what you want to talk about. You texted me. You want to chat. What does that mean? Oh, would you like to chat about God? Would you like to chat about the Lord? We're just right down the street.
Starting point is 01:41:10 We would love to come by and meet you, whatever. I'm like, okay, this isn't exactly what I thought it was going to be. And I said, hey, sounds good, man. Let's talk on Wednesday. Call me back. My number. All right, cool. And then I hung up and I said, all right, so nothing to worry about.
Starting point is 01:41:22 It's just a random cold text that they guess that they do when they look at a phone list. I don't know. Good for him for running it to you. Are you sure that wasn't them to be acting going on? Oh, yeah. You know your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ? I thought so too, but then he called me on Wednesday. Oh, he then called you back?
Starting point is 01:41:38 Yeah, he called me back. How was that talk? Did you guys hang? Yeah, we talked for a second. I'm like, cool, man, thank you. I really appreciate that. So I worried about that too. But no, I mean, I'm proud of my son.
Starting point is 01:41:49 Yeah, but they also may want to reconsider their method. They don't need to send, hey, want to meet up, want to chat? Like, shouldn't, in their better way? It does feel creepy, yes. Yeah, for sure, felt creepy. But effective because Eddie then went and talked about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We chatted, and I enjoyed it. I'm still concerned.
Starting point is 01:42:07 More than 23 million people will place a Super Bowl bet. Way more than Ineat. at any other time, because this is the game, the big game of the year. Amy has now downloaded the Draft King's app. Yeah. Because she hears us talking about it and having fun with it. Yeah, I entered code Bones. I still don't understand what it got me, but I entered.
Starting point is 01:42:26 Yeah, I don't know either. But I think it does something. Yeah, it does. You typed it in? Yeah, I typed in Bones when I signed up, and then you can load up your credit card to put a certain amount, and so I put $25. And have you made any bets yet?
Starting point is 01:42:39 Not yet. What are you waiting for? The Super Bowl? I don't know. I'm waiting for a game to bet on. Oh, there's a one right now, I bet you. The Super Bowl is Sunday. Yeah, so I'll probably do that.
Starting point is 01:42:51 Well, I don't know, guys. I just downloaded it. Give me some time to figure it out. You have until Sunday. Yeah. I just, I don't know what, I figured I would see what y'all were betting, and then I would bet.
Starting point is 01:43:02 Who do you think's going to win? I told you the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. How many points do you think I'll win by? You know, um. 12. Okay, well, that's your bet. You have a bet then. A 12 point spread.
Starting point is 01:43:15 Bet Tampa Bay and then take a few points. Is that too much? You can make the bet go to 12 points. That is too much, probably. Who knows? Okay. Never know. Well, good for you.
Starting point is 01:43:25 It's a slippery slope. I know, but I only let myself put in the 25, so I can just keep it at that. Yeah, of course. Wink, wink, wink. Bones, have you cashed out at all? Yeah, see, that's what some people worry about. What? Just not cashing out ever and just keep it in.
Starting point is 01:43:41 in there until you lose it all. I just do it for fun. I don't care. I haven't, I started with a couple hundred four months ago. I haven't gotten down there. I'm actually doing pretty good. So until I lose it, I'm good. I'm playing with house money. Yeah. Draft Kings put in the code. Bones. Yeah, download the app. You can do the fantasy stuff too, which is free. I did the free pickum over there. Reasons why women and men care about height. Women, number one, prefer to date taller men. They prefer if their partner is six to eight inches taller. Katelyn and I were figuring it out last night, she's probably 5'6, and I'm, I'm listed at 6-1 on my driver's license, but let's be honest, I'm like 6'5. So that's 6 inches. Let's be honest, you're probably 6 foot. Okay.
Starting point is 01:44:24 Is that 6? Yeah. 12. So 6 to 8 inches is desired. What about your husband? I mean, I'm 5'6 and he's 511. Oh. How many is that? Five? Yeah. Men are most satisfied when they are at least 3 inches taller than their partner. there you go. People view short men as less attractive and less successful. Just the perception we have of them unfairly. But I know a lot of really successful men that are like five, eight, nine. But they're not saying it's true. They're saying we have that perception and we have to have that shaken before we start to accept other. Gotcha.
Starting point is 01:45:02 Tall people make more money. Economists call this the height premium. A one-eatimum. A one-end, inch increase in height is associated with a 2.9% increase in weekly earnings, which is about a thousand bucks a year if you're an inch taller. So you're just like walk in and it, it's like people feel like you're demanding more, even though you're not? Tall people are more educated. Men taller than 6.3 were two to three more times to obtain a higher education compared to men shorter than 5, 5, 5, or 5.6. We've talked about this. You know, whenever we meet up tall man, we're feeling a little bit inferior. And I feel like, oh, man, this guy's way cooler.
Starting point is 01:45:39 You got it better than me. Yeah. Tomorrow, Matt Stel will be in. When I see Matt Stel, same feeling. Guys, six, seven. Super smart. Super athletic. Plays mean guitar.
Starting point is 01:45:50 Yeah. So I read that. Those aren't my opinions. Oh, I know. It's statistics. Yeah. But yeah, we need to normalize short men. Ray's super smart.
Starting point is 01:46:02 I thought she was going to say short. No. I was going to say, compared to, but his wife is also shorter than him. So he went with that. Ray, do you ever date someone taller than you? Oh, yeah. The girls I dated were always athletes in high school. They were two or three inches taller than me. Your twin brother is really tall. He's in the sixes, I believe. Did you always think you were just one growth spurred away from catching up? No. When we did the school pictures, I was always hanging out with the chicks and I was like, why don't I get to hang out with the guys? It was like, no, no, you're just, you're down here in the
Starting point is 01:46:31 front row with the girls. It was awesome. I was always talking to girls. But I mean, did you think at some point you were going to grow. No, because my mom was short. I knew I was always, at a young age, I was going to be very short. I was fine with that. All week long, we've been going through submissions on my TikTok of unsigned artists. We're looking for somebody to bring up and perform on the show. I'll play a few of them. You tell me if any of these stick out to you as someone you'd like to have up here. Okay. Number one is Sean Williams performing an original song called Where You Left Me. Because when you want me is only when you want me. When I need you, you're not there. When you call texts, I'll come running over. And I just wish that you could see out that ain't bad. That's pretty good. Yeah, he's really good. And I kind of feel bad for him.
Starting point is 01:47:31 Oh, you listen to the words? Yeah. I never listen to the words. I don't either. Oh, wow. No, he's like, she only calls him. him, you know, if he needs her, she's not around. Just when she needs him, he shows up.
Starting point is 01:47:41 Let me hear some more. When you broke my heart, that's what set me free. Now I won't be where you left me. Dang. Nice. Oh, boy, pretty good. Put that on the list. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:47:59 Here is Spencer Crandall performing an aquaella version of driver's license by Olivia Rodrigo. And I know we weren't perfect But I never felt this way For no one And I just can't imagine How you could be so okay Now that I'm gone
Starting point is 01:48:23 That's pretty good, huh? Yeah And then here is Taylor Acorn Performing a cover of Ocean Avenue by Yellow Card If I could find you now Things would get better. We could be on and run no some way somehow. We'll be together.
Starting point is 01:48:49 Let your waves crash down on me and take me. Is that it? You think about that one? They're all good. Yeah, I think the Sean Williams and the Taylor Acorn were really good. The other guy's good too. What do you think? Well, I just, I like all of them.
Starting point is 01:49:08 So do I have to pick one? You're the most diplomatic person in history. Okay, if I have to pick one or two. Are any of them good enough to come up here? Yes, for sure, the first one. Okay. And then Taylor Corn, yes. Eddie?
Starting point is 01:49:18 For sure, first one. I think the third one, I really don't get a good feel like it because it sounds really produced. She just with a microphone in front of her first. Oh, no, it sounds really good. But I go Sean for sure, 100%. Well, I'll make a thing and put it on TikTok of the people that are in the finals. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:49:31 But yeah, I appreciate all you guys. A lot of talent you're getting, dude. Yeah, it's all because me. No, no, I'm saying like you that you're getting in your hip. nothing to do with it. I literally just do a line out and said, hey, any fish that want to come up, here's your bobber and hook. Yeah, my TikTok's Mr. Bobby Bones. I think I'll make a TikTok with those three or four that we really like and let people vote and we'll bring somebody up here on the show. So Tom Brady's playing in his 10th Super Bowl. These are numbers.
Starting point is 01:49:57 You should remember. Okay. It is Super Bowl number. 55. Nice. How'd you know that? You said it right before we went on air. Thank goodness. But I think it's, I told Mike, say, hey, Hand me that Super Bowl 55 story. Yeah, otherwise I would not have known. I knew it's, is that an L and a V or something? I don't know, maybe. Yes, because I saw it and I'm like, I can't figure that out. I don't know.
Starting point is 01:50:18 Yeah, it gets a little. 50? Yeah. Like, I could probably figure out 49 more than 50 because you can put the tens together. Yeah, listen, I don't know. I only knew it was LV or whatever, and then you said 55 and then you conveniently asked me which Super Bowl was. Well, they will let 25,000 fans in the stands, which.
Starting point is 01:50:37 you know, what are they? What's that, an 80, 90,000 seat place? Okay. So 25,000 fans. And then 7,500 of those will be vaccinated health care workers. Oh, yeah. I saw that the Patriots, they're filling up their private plane or their team plane or whatever. And they're sending like 76 vaccinated healthcare superheroes. Yeah. So people that we look to and say, thanks. And you also get a free vaccination and you get a free trip. Yeah. That's cool. Yeah. Would you rather go to the Super Bowl to get the vaccine? they offered them to you. They're like, you get the vaccine or free tickets to the Super Bowl.
Starting point is 01:51:11 Oh, I'd get vaccinated. I think I'd go Super Bowl. I'll be honest with you. Me too. I can't wait to get the vaccine, but, oh, I don't know. I have been lucky enough to go to a couple of Super Bowls, and they're pretty boring. Exactly. And now you're saying you choose the Super Bowl.
Starting point is 01:51:24 I don't anymore. I talk myself out of stuff sometimes on the air. I'm going to go back to the vaccine. And the reason why, I mean, you're not saying it wasn't like a cool experience. Yes. But like you have to sit through all the, when they do commercials and blah, blah, blah, blah. Well, that's any live game. But I'm saying at Super Bowls, and I'm very grateful to have gone to a couple of them,
Starting point is 01:51:42 but at Super Bowls, it's not like a rowdy atmosphere because all the fans aren't there for that team. It's mostly just a bunch of rich people who their companies sent them with tickets. Luckily, I had a friend who was like, hey, come and I'll give you a ticket, and I went with him. But it's not like I went to watch the Saints whenever Drew Brees won, and there weren't many Saints fans there. There were some. Yeah, that's not good. Yeah, and I went and watched the Giants when they beat the Patriots. I watched Tom Brady lose the Super Bowl.
Starting point is 01:52:09 And it was in Indianapolis, and there just weren't a lot of diehard fans in the stands. So I'm glad I went, but a little overrated. And then you miss it on TV because you're like, wonder what commercial I missed. And you're on Twitter going, I wonder what was the good commercial. Yeah. 30,000 cutouts will be in the stands too. Oh, that's cool. Amy, you good?
Starting point is 01:52:27 Yeah, I'm good. Normal day for me. What about you? I have one more person coming out to do a dog fence estimate. Eddie's coming over to cook with Caitlin. Yeah, we're grilling. For an episode of unfancy cooking, packing from a weekend trip to Iowa.
Starting point is 01:52:42 We're shooting at a wind turbine mill in Iowa. What's the weather like up there? Probably really cold, huh? On the day that we're shooting most of it, the high is negative too. That's right. That's right. You did tell us that.
Starting point is 01:52:54 It's crazy. It's wrong with you. So I was like, I need to go about R-E-I and get warmer clothes, but it almost doesn't matter. Like, you can put clothes on. Also, R-E-I, they're very strict about who's in and out. It's like every time I go by there, it's like a club. And like the bouncers letting, there's a line.
Starting point is 01:53:09 It's hard to get in there. Well, I'm a big R.I fan. Like, I loved them when they were just a college band in Athens, Georgia. I'm just saying. One of your favorite song. Yeah, yeah. Everybody hurts. I'm like, crazy how far they've come.
Starting point is 01:53:20 People must really need their camping gear. I don't think I'm getting it. R.m. R.I. Thank you. We will see you guys. We were just talking and you were on a different plane, right? Yeah.
