Starting point is 00:02:38 Open doors to the future for you and your family with the help of American Military University. That's AMU. APUS. Dot E.D.U.S. slash military. Hope that your buddy and mine. Mr. Bobby Bones. Let me go.
Starting point is 00:02:55 This is the Bobby Bones. Boy Studio. Amy told me a funny story about how she was shamed at the store. Did you tell them this or no? I haven't told anybody yet. What happened? Okay. Well, I got shamed by the cashier for buying everything they had left of one particular item.
Starting point is 00:03:18 I'm obsessed with these vital protein sleep shots. What is that? It's like a little shot that has like, I don't know, melatonin and lavender and you just throw it back. I have no idea if it's a placebo effect, but I take these and I'm sleeping better. It's like my sleep juice. and I want them all. And Amazon was sold out. So I couldn't order any.
Starting point is 00:03:37 Well, I called the store and they had, they got some in. Like, I called ahead. Like, I wasn't going to drive over there if they didn't have it. So I get all the way there and they have, like, I don't know, nine left. And so I grab all nine and I go to the counter and I'm buying. And he goes, you know, this is the only nine we have left. And I was like, yep, take them all, please. That'll give me nine nights.
Starting point is 00:03:59 And he's like, well, these are really popular, you know, like some people are going to come in and be disappointed that they're all gone now. And I'm like, what is, I mean, I'm a paying customer. I'm here to buy these. Like I felt he was making me feel like I should go put them back on the shelf and I should not be. There was no limit. Sometimes stores will be like only two per customer, blah, blah, blah, blah. No limit. And by the way, they were on sale bonus. So I was really wanting to buy them up. And he just made me feel bad. And then I thought in my head, you know what? No, this is America. Oh, wow. USA. Why are you hitting with that? I don't think about that.
Starting point is 00:04:33 In my head. In my head. And I was like, I'm not going to have you make me feel bad for wanting to buy these. Life's not fair. And people should know that. So if they didn't call ahead to find out y'all had them in stock and come drive all the way over here to grab them. Because let me tell you, I called. And as soon as they said, they had them, I got my car.
Starting point is 00:04:51 And I went there and I got them because I know how quickly they sell out. And so I bought him all. But he definitely made me feel bad. Like I was a bad person, like bad, like not thoughtful, like not caring about. Do you feel, like did he somewhat convince you that you were a bad person? Yeah, I mean, he wasn't cool about it. If I was, if I knew my employee was doing that to customers, I'd be like, what, like, that's just not really how we should make customers feel.
Starting point is 00:05:14 So I don't know. Was I, was I wrong for taking all nine or should I have taken four and left five for five other? Well, I don't think you're describing it, right. You didn't take them, you bought them. You paid for them. That's right. You're absolutely right.
Starting point is 00:05:28 My hard earned money. You want to go buy nine of them or you're going to go buy 90 of them. This is a store. That's right. This is where they sell. In America. Yeah. In America.
Starting point is 00:05:35 Yeah. So, honestly. That's what I should have said to him. I don't care if this nine or if you had 90. I'd be buying them all. Especially because they're a dollar off right now. You did nothing wrong. And for him to go, ooh, you don't know these people.
Starting point is 00:05:48 No, I don't know them. Oh, and life's not fair. And you know what? The owner of the store probably say, hey, cashier, shut up. We're trying to make a buck. In America, we have capitalism. Exactly. You put something out.
Starting point is 00:05:56 If people want to buy it, they buy it. So obviously they wanted to move them or they wouldn't take it. You're absolutely right. Does anyone disagree with me? No. It wasn't like they were free. It wasn't like lunchboxes if he's ever walking by a soup kitchen and like, oh, free soup, he'd take it all. Right.
Starting point is 00:06:09 There's a difference in that because that's taking free stuff. Right. But Amy could have gone back in three or four days and got more. There's no need to buy nine. She's not going to drink nine and one night. I don't want to drive back over there. It's 20 minutes from my house. Didn't you work at Sam's Club?
Starting point is 00:06:24 I did work at Sam's Club. And isn't the whole point of Sam's Club to buy a bulk of things so you don't have to go back? Yes. So that's the whole purpose of that. Yeah, I was buying in bulk. Good. I'm just saying Amy could have bought three and then ordered them on Amazon like she normally does and had helped her fellow customer out. Instead, she wanted to hog him for herself.
Starting point is 00:06:39 Hey, if you want to be selfish, I like being selfish. This is how the guy made me feel. He basically made me feel selfish and like, I don't want to think of other people. From my heart, you're absolutely right. Thank you. You did what you did. You did to you. It's not charity.
Starting point is 00:06:51 It's money. Now I have them in my fridge. There you go. Yeah, and someone else can't sleep at night. And I'm going to take one tonight. They're losing sleep. They're going to be late for work. I mean, wow.
Starting point is 00:07:01 Bobby Bones show. On Twitter, they were talking about movies that move people to tears, but not sad. Like, you watch it, and you're just so emotional because something happens in that movie. You know, what is it? Amy, your first. Pursuit of Happiness. Oh, that's such a good movie. Will Smith?
Starting point is 00:07:16 Yeah, because it's a true story. Everything about it just gives you the feels. And, yeah, so that one. That's a good one. So good. It was like two and a half hours of a struggle. Right. And the whole time, you're just like, ugh, feel so bad.
Starting point is 00:07:31 Then it's the end Butterfly It's a beautiful Yeah that's a good one That Will Smith is out of Suicide Squad Do you see that? He pulled out the second one
Starting point is 00:07:39 Let's go to Mike D who knows all the stuff about science fiction movie Why do Will Smith Pull out of Suicide Squad too I think Doesn't think he's gonna be any good Because he got so much hate
Starting point is 00:07:47 On the first one He's out He got a bunch of hate for that Yeah Everybody said I hated that movie Oh I didn't hate it People just like to say They hate things
Starting point is 00:07:54 You can either love it But it's much easier to hate it And nobody wants to be mad about anything And just go That's pretty good Because you know why? You don't get heard when you say that was pretty good. You get heard if you're on Facebook or Instagram going,
Starting point is 00:08:07 I hate this. That's how people always want to get hurt. All right, thank you, Mike D. I think mine will be Rudy. At the end of Rudy. Oh, yeah. When he gets in the game and the crowd's going, Rudy. And then he goes, it's the best.
Starting point is 00:08:19 It's powerful. So good. Right? Yes. You've seen Rudy, right, Amy? Yes. Do you feel like good? Yes, I have all the feels for Rudy and, like, yes.
Starting point is 00:08:28 Just for like different reasons. The underdog. Yeah. I mean, I'm not into. the football side of thing, but it's not a, to me, that's not a football movie. It's so much bigger than that. Yeah, I would agree it's bigger than that. It's a life.
Starting point is 00:08:38 And, like, I played football, but only through high school, and I wonder if somebody who played in college would feel strongly. But, like, Lunchbox never played football, but he's still as a football guy. Yeah. Right. I would go Rudy. Lunchbox? I have to go remember the Titans.
Starting point is 00:08:52 I mean, it is all about bringing a community together and overcoming the odds and integration and just, like, standing up for what you believe. I mean, there is one scene when two best friends in that movie and one guy takes a stand against his best friend and you're just like, wow. I mean, that movie is powerful. That's a good one. Morgan number two, what about you? What movie makes you really happy so that you get a little emotional? It's Matilda.
Starting point is 00:09:17 Have you guys heard of that movie? Excuse me? Matilda? From Mrs. Doubtfire? Yeah. I think she's from Miss Doubtfire, yeah. Okay. I don't know that movie.
Starting point is 00:09:25 I'm listening. Well, it's about this little girl in her journey. She has really bad parents. and then her teacher ends up adopting her at the end. It just makes you laugh and makes you angry. And then by the end, you're just so happy you cry. How old is that movie? Should I watch that one or no?
Starting point is 00:09:39 Oh, that's a good one. Yeah. Oh, it came out in 96? 90% positive on rock tomatoes. I watched her growing up all the time. My daughter likes it. Matilda. Eddie, do you have one?
Starting point is 00:09:49 Yeah, I'm going to go old school. Go ahead. Rocky. And Rocky won. Spoiler alert, when he wins at the end and he goes, or maybe it's Rocky too. He doesn't win Rocky one. Adrian!
Starting point is 00:10:00 Yeah. I did it! Like, that brings tears from my eyes every single time. And they play it probably once a month, twice a month now, still. It's so good. You can go to our Facebook page and tell us what movie that you love so much. We're going to do a love here, Facebook people. And I'm not going to go look at it because Facebook puts me in a bad place.
Starting point is 00:10:17 Bad place. Don't go there. But we're going to... But if you do want to go there, go to our Facebook page. What movie brings you to tears? Because it's so moving. Not sad, but it's so moving. Merry Christmas.

Starting point is 00:14:06 It's a Bobby Bones show. Tell that story, lunch, box. So there's this lady. She posted on Reddit. She's married and they've been trying to have a kid. 29 pregnancy tests, no baby. Try the whole hormone injections. No baby.
Starting point is 00:14:21 And finally, the husband confessed, I had a vasectomy when I was married to my ex-wife because I didn't want to get her pregnant. And she said, now you either agree to me having a donor, you get it reversed, or we're getting divorced. Like, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, divorced over this just because you can't have kids? Well, I think he lied to her. That's dishonest. And she was going through fertility stuff on her end, thinking that something was maybe wrong with her and the stress that that adds. And it's all because he knew playing along with that that he had a vasectomy. 29 pregnancy tests, which means the emotional roller coaster of that. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:59 Every single one of those. Hormone injections, which means messing with her body. Like, why would he even want to go through that with her? Like, it's miserable for her and for him. That's what she said. She said three years of painful, invasive, and expensive fertility treatment. And he lied to me. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:15:15 He watched her go through that and didn't ever once think to pipe up and say, sorry, nothing's wrong. You don't need to inject yourself with those hormones and make yourself feel totally nuts. I had a sex to me. No, that's really, that's bad. Right? I thought it was bad too, but lunchbox thinks she's overreacting. I think she's being drama-filled.
Starting point is 00:15:33 If you love somebody, you want to be with them. You didn't marry them for kids. You married them because you love them. Right, but then you fall a little less out of love with them and they lie to you for three years while you're injecting yourself with hormones. Or maybe you got together because you had similar dreams of having children. Yeah. What did you tell our first?
Starting point is 00:15:48 about that? Let me see. According to her post on Reddit, it doesn't have that. No. It just says that she feels lied to and she's talking about divorce. Yeah. I'm on team dude. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:15:59 Yes. Yeah. I'm on team, team her. Yeah. Team wife. I'm on team wife. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:16:05 You're on team wife? Yeah, I'm on team wife. Like, I mean, I, if they want to work it out, I hope that they're able to, but I do not think she's being typical drama-filled woman. If I found out someone who lied to me for three years about something that big, I don't know if I'd ever trust him again. Like she was altering her body to make it work, and he knew all along that she didn't need that stuff.
Starting point is 00:16:27 I'm team wife, Amy? Team wife. I'm team dude, because when you say your vowels, it's till death do his part, not to, he tells me a little white lie. White lie. White lie. Pretty ready?
Starting point is 00:16:38 I mean, I'm going to team marriage. They said reversals and option. Just reverse it and get over. But how do you trust? Yeah. We lied for three years. But there's a solution at the end. Oh my gosh.
Starting point is 00:16:48 That's what I like about this story. Morgan number two? Yeah, there's hope. I'm definitely team wife. Yeah. Ray, moving now? Team guy. What?
Starting point is 00:16:56 I'm crazy. You guys are out of your mind. Okay. You can go to our Facebook page if we want to see this story and comment on it. Anyone that would be team guy, they'd probably lie. I just don't even get the... Bunch of liars in here. You don't get the what?
Starting point is 00:17:11 I just, him watching her, like, inject herself and go through that. Well, Amy, 30 pregnancy tests Watching her The roller could cry Struggle all that time Guys, he probably cried too Because you can still get pregnant When you have a vasectomy
Starting point is 00:17:28 There's miracles that do happen So maybe he was emotionally invested also Stop Bobby phones I always wonder how you guys feel about Signs from above Like you ever go Oh, that's a sign I should do this
Starting point is 00:17:44 Yeah Because how I feel is, if we're looking for a sign, we're going to find it. If I'm looking for a sign to do Action A, I'm going to look hard enough to find that sign. But what if you're not looking in, then it's just boom in front of your face. Obviously, this is about Amy. That's what I'm leading into over here. So tell them what happened. Because I was just having a not-so-great parenting day, not feeling really awesome about my parenting skills, if you will.
Starting point is 00:18:08 I just kept failing left and right. And then as I'm feeling the lowest of low, I pull up to a red light, and the car to the right of me has a magnetic sign on their door that says parenting coach. www. www.parentingcoach.org. Linda Ray Miller. And I'm like,
Starting point is 00:18:30 Linda, is this a sign? I mean, I don't know Linda, but she's sitting next to me in this car. I took a picture. I haven't on my phone. I haven't done anything with it. I don't know if I should go to the website, get the number, call Linda. But it just felt like, am I missing this opportunity?
Starting point is 00:18:46 to enhance my parenting skills via Linda. Eddie, yes. Amy, I hate to ran on your parade, but what if this is that targeting, marketing that people talk about where they know who you are and what you're going through? It's like Instagram feed of cards.
Starting point is 00:18:57 Yes. The live version. Yes. So, do you think you need parent coaching? Maybe. Are you considering calling her? I mean, that's what I'm asking. Mostly I'm curious how much she charges.
Starting point is 00:19:10 Yeah. I mean, I guess I could call to find out. Make some money. Yeah. I could definitely look into it. I'm curious to know. Okay. And I just wonder what her whole, like, her old spiel is.
Starting point is 00:19:21 Like, here's why. Like, here's what I have to offer you. And does she come into the home? And does she... Does she wear a whistle? Out of here. Like a coach. No, but I mean, I would be into that.
Starting point is 00:19:31 And, oh, look. I mean, her website's, like, super cute. Oh. Do you believe that Jesus sent that sign to Amy? Yes. Yeah. See? Told you?
Starting point is 00:19:39 Well, yeah. Told you. See, it's like that guy that's in the flood. And he was praying for God to rescue him. No, that's a joke. That's a joke. It's a joke that I tell from Jerry Clower. I know, it's a joke.
Starting point is 00:19:49 You're not even telling her, right, so I'm not going to let you disgrace it. What? Signs happen. Have you ever had a sign? No. Yeah, your grandma one time knocked over that guitar. I think what we're searching for, we find. I think regardless, if I'm looking for a sign for something, I can find it.
Starting point is 00:20:04 And then your mom locked you in that room. Right. Now, is that true? And my mom had died, too. I know. Or my dog dumped all his ashes on me. They exploded on my car. Do I think it's a sign, or am I just an idiot in all those instances?
Starting point is 00:20:15 Probably the second one. But I don't think this is not true. I just, for me, no, if I'm looking for a sign or something, I'm going to find it. I wasn't looking. I was just... I had a sign in college. I finally got organized because everybody tells me I'm so unorganized, and I got a planner, and I wrote down every day I had to work because I had two jobs over the summer,
Starting point is 00:20:31 and I had it in my car somewhere broke in and stole the planner. That was God tell me you're not supposed to be organized. Okay. See where this goes? This is my logic. There we go. It's time for the good news. With Bobby.
Starting point is 00:20:42 Tell me something good. Firefighters in Tennessee Cut through a wall At a family's home To rescue a dog That was chasing a squirrel in the attic The dog's up in the attic Tasing after a squirrel
Starting point is 00:20:55 Puzzu, falls through And firefighters They go in Chattanooga And they go and have to cut a hole in the wall And they get Bella out Who's a wiener dog Luckily, everybody survived Everybody's good
Starting point is 00:21:07 Firefighters just used to saw Cut through the wall They're like Bella They're trying to make the dog Not move while they're cutting the wall So they cut back there but the dog obviously runs to the sound, but everything's good.
Starting point is 00:21:18 So good for the firefighters, good for the dog. Everybody wins in that one. That's funny, huh? Yeah. Funny because everybody got it. All right, that's what it's all about right there. That's Tell Me Something Good. There you go.
Starting point is 00:21:29 That was Tell Me Something Good. Bobby Bones show. Bonehead. Story up the day. This story comes with us from Royal Palm Beach, Florida. A 28-year-old man's working at Arby's. He's supposed to get off at 10 p.m. And the manager comes up and says,
Starting point is 00:21:42 Hey, someone called in, I need you to work overtime. He's like, look, I got plans of my girlfriend, no. The manager pulls out pepper spray, pepper sprays him, and chases him around the store with a knife, trying to make him stay and work overtime. But he pepper sprayed him because he just don't want to work more? Yeah, he didn't want to work overtime. And the manager's like, no, that's not acceptable.
Starting point is 00:22:00 So pepper sprayed him and chased him with a knife to make him stay. I wonder if he thought that would work. He was not going to be a very effective employee. What I'm saying? Like, you spray him and then makes more sandwiches? It's not very smart. It's crazy that that guy is the boss. So I'm Lunchbox
Starting point is 00:22:14 That's your Bonhead story of the day Come on Bobby Pong show Folks it's your buddy and my Mr. Bobby Bones Let me know I'm a trams my day We're gonna do what they call The Shell on Challenge
Starting point is 00:22:35 Where You're supposed to eat It and the Shell We have a couple items here We have first of all A full banana with a peel Right so if you lose You have to eat the whole thing
Starting point is 00:22:47 The whole banana for one bite No no that's the social media craze It's one bite. It's not one bite. It's not the whole thing. That would make you sick maybe. Like the stem? I don't even know if you can get rid of that.
Starting point is 00:22:57 I don't know that my stomach could digest it. Well, that's part of the great. You shouldn't have brought this game to the table. The new social media trend. It's a bite. It's called the shell on challenge. People are daring each other to eat things in the packaging or the peels. Yeah, I mean, it's nature.
Starting point is 00:23:12 We can eat that stuff. Yeah. Well, yeah, I've heard the peel is good for you, but like if you blend it. Everybody's name is on the wheel here, right? This isn't spin, but I'm going to spin it. Whoever it lands on, has to take half of the banana with the peel. Okay, that's better. Okay?
Starting point is 00:23:27 Half of the banana with the two. Woo! What did you provide? You want the full banana? Raymond? I mean, I think the half's kind of weak. I thought we were eating a whole thing. Oh, my gosh.
Starting point is 00:23:38 No! No! We want the full banana. No. Yeah. All right. We're doing full banana. Man.

Starting point is 00:23:55 Full banana. Okay, so I'm going to spin the wheel. Whoever it lands on has to eat the banana with a peel on. This is called the Shell On Challenge. Are we ready to spin that wheel? Oh, my gosh. On the wheel are people like producer Eddie, Morgan number two. Okay.

Starting point is 00:25:02 Eddie, Eddie. No stem, right? No stem, but the whole banana with the pill. That stem is not coming out of my body if I eat it. All right, here we go. How long is this supposed to take people? Well, let's just start and watch it. Why me?
Starting point is 00:25:12 Because it landed on your name. That's what? Eddie went out and eat the banana. You were cheering for a whole banana. You cheered for a whole banana. No, I did not. Here we go. You wanted the whole banana, you get it.
Starting point is 00:25:23 Tell me what. And action. Get it in there. There he goes. That peel is the most disgusting in a day. By one. My box is dry. bite number one.
Starting point is 00:25:33 Eddie, if you eat the peel that has 12% of your daily fiber, vitamin C and vitamin B6? And bite number two. Oh, wow. Oh, you spit on me. You fool, you spit on me, you nasty fool. I am spitting back on you.
Starting point is 00:25:49 Is it like... It's chalky. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Eddie, is that two bites in? It's not very good. There he goes. Another bite. I can't believe you're eating it so strongly.
Starting point is 00:26:01 Oh, you have to. Yeah, you definitely have to. It's called the Shell On Challenge. And some people are eating, like, full things with like cardboard packages. Yeah. Why am I all stuck eating in the crap? That's pretty healthy. Yeah, that's actually not crap.
Starting point is 00:26:14 We're going to put this up on our Instagram at Bobby Bone Show. I can't chew it all, so at this point I'm just swallowing it. You keep eating. I'm going to play a song. Starting point is 00:29:59 APUS. It's a bobby bones show. Eddie lost a wheel and has had to eat the whole banana with a pill on it. We spun the wheel. What are you complaining about? The bottom part? I took the long stem off, but then the other end, I got to get rid of that. I can't eat that.
Starting point is 00:30:18 You got to eat that. I can't eat the butt. Is that what it's called? He has a butt of the banana. He's still eating the banana with a pill on. What do you think so far? That's disgusting. It is?
Starting point is 00:30:28 Mm-hmm. I mean, we could have at least given him some peanut butter. No, no, no, that's part of the challenge. Like the banana part, it sneaks in and it tastes pretty good, but the rat, oh, the peel gross. Well, Eddie's eating this. Man, I'm glad that you won, though. That's a good game. Now, do we want to pull the wheel back up here?
Starting point is 00:30:43 Yes. For what? Take my name off, though. No, no, no. There's no way I can do this again. For what? Eddie, that's a loser mentality. There's always a way.
Starting point is 00:30:53 Man, that is crazy. All right, one more bite and I'm done. Eat the rest of it. There you go. I thought we were done with this nut. There you are good. There he is. There he is.
Starting point is 00:31:00 Oh, my God. I thought this game was over. Well, it is. What we can, no, it is it. Just when you think it's over, it's back again. Oh, no. What we have now is a full orange with pill. Oh, gee.
Starting point is 00:31:14 Oh, my gosh. That's not, why is it the biggest orange? Yeah, why is it the biggest orange in the history? It's like a mutated orange. That's a giant orange. Why can it be like a cutie? Let us. That's funny.
Starting point is 00:31:26 A cutie. That's funny. Yeah. It's not. That's the biggest orange Like this GMO What? What does that mean? I don't know Genetically modified
Starting point is 00:31:36 We shot it with a needle Give us some steroids last night That is huge They have an orange coming up And we can spin the wheel again If you guys want to play another round of this Again This is a democracy, we'll vote
Starting point is 00:31:48 Okay Let me see if you can you die from orange peels No they eat them in nature Amy's Googling can you die And a banana one first because I already ate it I told you the Benefits of eating the peel. Okay. Go ahead.
Starting point is 00:32:01 People do that. What does the orange peel say? Emmy, this is the Internet challenge. It can't be unsafe. Oh, well, here's some. It says here. This is answering how many oranges can you eat before the vitamin C will kill you. Oh, whoa.
Starting point is 00:32:12 It happens. A million? Did you Google, can you eat the orange pill? I was emailing about death. You emailed someone about death and we're going to weigh here? Google that. Okay. Although orange peels are edible, they're not nearly as sweet or as juicy.
Starting point is 00:32:29 If you do eat the peel, you'll get a good amount of nutrients. Yeah. It's got, it's filled with. This is basically a health segment. Okay, we're going to come back next and we're going to do the orange. It's organic. We're going to vote. Oh, yeah, let's vote.
Starting point is 00:32:43 Who votes that we eat the orange? I, I, I, I, I, all right, we got enough. No, that was just you. Yeah. What? That was just you. That's what's funny about this show sometimes. You don't want to do it, you have a one and six chance.
Starting point is 00:32:57 You didn't have to eat the banana. I know. And Eddie, I didn't enjoy watching you do that. Yes, you did. She was laughing so hard. No, I wasn't. Do you want to do the orange, Amy? Uh-uh.
Starting point is 00:33:06 Okay, well, we'll do the orange. I say we do the orange. We'll do the orange. Rayboando, do we got a boat in there? Let's do it. Now I'm pulling votes in. Like, Dee. We got four votes, orange.
Starting point is 00:33:15 That's all you need. That's all we need. The Bobby Bon show. We're doing the Shell on Challenge. This is our second segment. And Eddie lost the wheel. We spin this wheel. Whoever it lands on, has to eat whatever it is.
Starting point is 00:33:28 and Eddie ate a banana with appeal. And how would you say? It was disgusting. It was disgusting. So would you say he won because he got a lot of nutrients? I'd say in the end you won, Eddie. I mean, yeah, you guys say it's good for you at the end, so thank you, I guess. You're welcome.
Starting point is 00:33:40 I have an orange here. Oh, my goodness. It's a very big orange. Big. Big orange. We can do half the orange. No, you got to go full. That's bigger than the banana.
Starting point is 00:33:51 That is way bigger than the banana. Question. You probably should cut the orange, though, and then eat into it. Okay. If you want to do, let's vote. You want to do half the orange, orange or whole orange? Oh, I know it's going to happen now. If we do half, two people are going to eat that sucker.
Starting point is 00:34:03 That's right. That's right. Good thinking line. You got it. I saw his wicked smile like he. Okay, okay. Let's just say whoever loses, one person has to eat the whole orange with a peel on it. Perfect. Half or whole? Vote now. Old. Eddie says hole. Hole. Amy says hole. But I mean, you can still cut it up.
Starting point is 00:34:22 Okay. That's two boats. Much box? Oh, definitely whole. Ray Vinda? It sounds like hole. Okay, hole it is. I'm going to spin the wheel. Question. If we volunteer, do we only eat half? If we say, you know what? No, need to spin that wheel.
Starting point is 00:34:34 I nominate myself. What is it? I have volunteers tribute. Yeah, that volunteer tribute thing. Do we only get to eat half? No, I think you have to spin and you land on what it lands on. Because I wasn't going to volunteer. I was just going to throw it out there for someone else. All right. Are you guys ready? I'm going to spin the wheel. Oh, my gosh.
Starting point is 00:34:49 The member's name it lands on has to eat the whole orange with the peel. Yeah. All right. Let's spin that wheel. And there goes the wheel. Round and round it goes Lunchboxes run over to the world Oh, I'm stressed out
Starting point is 00:35:05 Calcium, popper, magnesium, vitamin A Vitamin B, fiber Oh, Amy! Amy! Amy! Amy! It was on me till the last minute and went Right over to you. Give her the orange! Give her the orange! It needs to be washed again.
Starting point is 00:35:27 No, you eat it like... Can I have a knife? Oh my gosh. Do you want us to play a song come back? Yeah, I mean, this is, this is the biggest orange known demand. I think it's going to take a minute. Your first bite should have to be through the orange. I agree. Yes. I can't. Like an apple. You have teeth? I can't. It's a loser mentality. My teeth. Yeah. Okay. I would step away from the equipment and just take a big bite out of it. Ready? You got it on camera, Eddie?
Starting point is 00:35:51 I got it. I don't know if my teeth. What's wrong with your teeth? Oh, don't break your teeth there, princess. Are you going to bite? It's an orange. It's not concrete. Oh, she took a bite. Oh, don't spit it out. Don't spin it out. You gotta eat it. She didn't even eat the middle part. She only ate the middle part.
Starting point is 00:36:08 She only ate the peel. She only ate the peel. Of course that's gonna be gross. But that's a lot of orange. This is bigger than that. You know, it's funny. She voted for holes. She did.
Starting point is 00:36:21 How's that pill taste? It's bigger than the banana. If you think of it. Do you stretch this out? Go ahead. How's the pill taste? Take a full bite there I tried
Starting point is 00:36:36 I tried to eat the pill and I won't I can't get to that part There she goes back into it She's going straight peel It's so disgusting She's basically peeling the orange with her teeth And eating it Here's Amy's pile of stories
Starting point is 00:36:53 Relying on technology allows us to forget five things a day I saw that and I agree because I don't know anybody's phone number and I don't know how to get anywhere. That's on the list. Because I always just type it in. Like with my phone,
Starting point is 00:37:06 I'll just yell at my Siri to take me somewhere. What are the things we forget? So the five things we forget are passwords, other people's phone numbers, how to spell certain words. Oh man, me too. And I don't even try anymore. I hit it and if it doesn't auto-crack,
Starting point is 00:37:19 I just send it anyway. So it's either spell check or hopefully it's the person's spell recognized on the other side of it because I don't even try. How to do basic math and then how to write legibly Because between our phones and technology or computers, like we don't really write that much anymore.
Starting point is 00:37:33 And then some of the things are outside of the top five. Like, Bobby, you mentioned directions, birthdays, what time shows are on. Oh, birthdays. It's actually helped me. I don't know anybody's birthday. But having... The calendar helps you. Big time.
Starting point is 00:37:46 And I put in the people's birthdays that I really like. Basically, it's just Amy and my exes. Wow. I know. I know. So, oh, you know, another funny thing. People forget. This was number six on the list.
Starting point is 00:37:57 So almost top five, their own phone number. Like sometimes if they're asked for it, fill it out, like sometimes they're like, shoot, what is my own phone number? Yeah, you don't have to say it that much. You've had yours forever. I've had my phone number. 2003? Yeah. So you've had the same one.
Starting point is 00:38:12 I switched a few years ago, and it did take me a while to learn it because I was like, oh, I don't really know. You don't call yourself. Right. Yeah. I do sometimes I'm really lonely. Oh. Hey, Bobby. Hey, you good?
Starting point is 00:38:23 Yeah, I'm okay. How what else? So couples in happier relationships. say these things to each other more often. So you can jot these down, not if you're driving, but just make sure that you're telling your partner this. Thank you. If you're expressing gratitude in your relationship,
Starting point is 00:38:40 even for the small things, not just for the big, it will really impact things. You make me laugh. Make sure you let them know that they're funny because couples that can laugh together it means that they enjoy each other's company and each other's jokes. You mean a lot to me.
Starting point is 00:38:54 So people want to feel valued and appreciated. to make sure you remind them. And then lastly, I love you. Like, if you're not someone that says it all the time, but simply put, saying I love you is an active reminder of your admiration for one another. Poppy's never said it. I know to anybody.
Starting point is 00:39:10 My dog, all time. But next, there's still time. This is the year. Amy's put her fist in the air like she was pumping me up. You can do it. 2019, right? Yeah, of course. What else?
Starting point is 00:39:23 Okay. You know the top most productive time of day? day. When is it for you? When are you the most productive? Two parts. Either like 6 a.m., which I'm not a morning person, but I've been awake a few hours to, that's what we start doing. I'm like an hour into the show. Probably then or like 6 p.m. right before I go, like I have a few hours before I go down. And like I'm just hammering away the next day. But my schedule's odd. Yeah, you're not really average. So for those people that are listening right now, it's the first three hours of your day. That's when you're most
Starting point is 00:39:52 productive. That's me. That's okay. Six a. I'm still in there. I mean, I wake up at 3.30 now. Yeah. But that's when you are cranking stuff out. So if you have your list of MIT's, do you know MIT's? My husband taught me this. Military term? It's your most important tasks. Oh, most important tasks.
Starting point is 00:40:07 He tries to help me make lists and prioritize them, and he's like, what are your MITs? Number them, one through ten, and knock out one to ten. I'm kind of hot. It's kind of hot. Right. That was Amy's pile of stories. Bobby Bones. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. The Bobby Bones Show is proud to be supported.

Starting point is 00:49:59 The Morning Corny. Why did the electrician stay up all night? Hmm. Why did the electrician stay up all night? She was wired. All right. All right, there it is. Come on.
Starting point is 00:50:22 That was the morning corny. The Bobby Boneshow. If I play this piano, do you know what song that is? I'm a little sister dilettelawat. Baragush, baragosh, and up in the pandingo. Yeah, what is this song?
Starting point is 00:50:39 Queen, something. Galileo, Galileo. Galileo? No, Bohemian Rhapsody. Okay. But it's just a piano part of a song, right? That's cool. So we've stripped out all the instruments.
Starting point is 00:50:51 It's just a piano. That's Bohemian Rhapsody. Just a piano. Write your answers down. Amy to my left. Lunchbox to my right. You know, our video producer Eddie over there editing videos. Are we ready?
Starting point is 00:51:04 Just by the piano part of the song. Name the song. Is that familiar, Amy? Yeah, I'm in. Just looking for the title of the song. She's in. I'm in. Lunchbox's eyes are real big.
Starting point is 00:51:27 He's writing an answer down. Alright, I'm there we have. Lunchbox, what do you have? Despacito. Despacito. That is not it. Amy. Havana.
Starting point is 00:51:39 Ah, Eddie. Yeah, Havana. Unana. There it is, yeah. That's it. My heart is in Havana. Uh-na. Hey.
Starting point is 00:51:48 Yeah, good. Who is that? It's Camila. Camila Cabo. That's what I thought it was. Despicito. Okay. By the piano part only, name the song.
Starting point is 00:52:00 Oh, yeah. Now, this part's very familiar. Do I get bonus points for artists? No. Yeah, that's all I know, too. I'm in for the win. All right, that's all you get. Lunchbox.
Starting point is 00:52:23 Oh, that's my girl, Vanessa Carlton, a thousand miles. Amy. A thousand miles. Oh, I don't know the title. I've heard of seasons. Oh, yeah. It's into the sky. The jam.
Starting point is 00:52:37 It is still the jam. She's still around? Uh-huh. I don't know. doing what? I think she died. Yeah, I don't know I just remember Trader Joe's.
Starting point is 00:52:48 Making my way downtown. Oh, that it started. No, it's all piano. It starts whenever you want. Oh, I was like, where are she? Okay. Ready, name it by the piano. What song is that? Just the piano part.
Starting point is 00:53:13 Oregon now. I almost didn't remember the title this song. I'm in with a win. I'm in. I'm in. Amy. Don't stop believing. Lunchbox. Don't stop believing. Are you challenging?
Starting point is 00:53:25 Are you challenging him, Eddie? No, I'm not challenging. Yeah, you don't want to challenge. There was a stutter in there, though. What do you have? Don't stop believing. All right, you're all right. There you go.
Starting point is 00:53:32 All you good. Two left. Name the song. Here we go. Only the piano. Maybe looks a puzzle. Maybe it's puzzle. Because I just went to a.
Starting point is 00:53:56 Lunchbox looks puzzle, but that's normal. Amy's up one point right now. Lunchbox can climb back into this thing. I'm trying to. Wow. Five seconds. Lunchbox? Lips of an angel.
Starting point is 00:54:15 Excuse me? Hinder, lips of an angel. What a random song. I haven't thought of that in a while. Sorry, Amy. Meant to be. Ooh. Yes.
Starting point is 00:54:24 Eddie? I wrote It Will Be. Oh, wow. It's like... Hit it, Bones. Maybe lay on back and relax. Put your feet down on the bench. Man, man.
Starting point is 00:54:40 He just meant to be. It'll be. All right, one more. Here we go. Lunchbox is standing up in his chair. Waving his arms like a symphony. I'm in. Only the piano part of the song.
Starting point is 00:55:12 There you go. To make it better. Yeah, write me a letter. Write me a letter. Send it in the mail. I did I mean, Mr. Postman. I sent a special deed. Bright and early next morning.
Starting point is 00:55:34 I'm in for the way. The letter came back to me. She wrote about it. Amy. Hey Jude. Watch for guys. Hey, Jude, write me a letter. Yeah, that's my God.
Starting point is 00:55:43 There's nothing about a letter. Are you serious? It says, write me a letter. Eddie? I might be the worst of this game. I wrote Let It Be. Oh. What?
Starting point is 00:55:51 Wait. Mr. Beatles' game? The Mr. Beatles. Wow. Does this say write a letter? No. I didn't think so. Guys, I didn't miss one.
Starting point is 00:56:02 You didn't, Amy? No. There she is. There she is. Imagine all the Amy's. Easy if you try. Imagine there's all Amies. That means.
Starting point is 00:56:25 No one lies Imagine a Bobby Bones show What's up with you and your husband? Well, he's like, wants to put a cap on how much water I can have or win Like a deadline at night Like no more water at night.
Starting point is 00:56:45 We have to do that with our eight-year-old son. Are you peeing the bed? No. No. But that's why we can do it with him. But my husband's like, I don't know, pick a time. But after 7 p.m., you can have no more water because I guess I've been waking up.
Starting point is 00:57:00 I've upped my water and take a lot and sometimes to make sure I'm getting my water before bed. I'm like chugging 16 ounces just that I met my goal for the day. And he's had enough because I wake up like three times in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and it's waking him up. And he's like, I can't have that anymore.
Starting point is 00:57:17 So he's like, thinks I should have a water cut off. And are you going to do that? I think I should because, I mean, yeah, it's got to be annoying. Plus, I don't need to be waking up three times in the middle of the night. That's not good for my sleep. And then if I'm waking him up, well, that's certainly not good if we're both not getting rest.
Starting point is 00:57:33 And so, yeah. But he was like, hey, we got to have a talk. Oh, you got pulled in for a talk. Yeah. He's like, he didn't want to be rude about it. But he's like, I'm going to have to cut you off on water. Like I flew, I'm in California, but when I flew out here, I always sit on the inside. And so they're on the Southwest, on Southwest Airlines, you can lean over and put your head on the, on like the wall and go to sleep.
Starting point is 00:57:53 And that flight's so long. And I like to sit on the inside, like a window seat. So I can lean my head over and go to sleep. but the problem is I drink a bunch of water too and I always have to be like excuse me, and that flight is so long I hate to wake you up and I won't wake someone up
Starting point is 00:58:05 I almost will go on my pants almost before or like I don't think about peeing into a cup or something which is awesome because you're a guy and you can do that I haven't done that but I've been like I don't want to wake somebody up but I have to go through people every time but I'm so sorry so I like have to gauge my water before I get on the flight
Starting point is 00:58:21 so you could get these bags at my husband because he's a pilot and we go on really especially when he was in the Air Force they were going really long flights It's like hours and hours and hours and hours. But they have these, I forget what they're called, but just call it a pee bag. Peabag. I wouldn't really pee in my pants, but I'm so bothered. You could order some of these and you see if Amazon has it.
Starting point is 00:58:39 And then you get a blanket. But it's like, no, it's contained. Like you won't make a mess. People would probably wake them up more than peep next to them, right? It all goes down to it. I think my neighbor would rather me wake them up than just let it rip right next to them. And maybe then I need to get a pee bag for bedtime. You know what? Just get up. Just get up.

Starting point is 01:02:42 Ramundo, who sits in the glass room and what he does is he edits audio all day. I cut commercials, all the things that you hear on the show, all the clips of songs. That's what he does. He's cutting, cutting, cutting. And so he comes to me. and he says, hey, you know what the listeners want?
Starting point is 01:02:55 I said, no, what do the listeners want? Usually what they call for and what they're asking, they say, more talk, less music. Okay, and so what do you then propose? The thing that came to me was, why don't we speed up the songs? Logical. So, have you sped up some songs to hear? Yeah, I have some examples how it would sound in the morning
Starting point is 01:03:17 when you're listening to these songs sped up. So that means if the song was sped up, there's more time for us to be able. able to talk. Yeah, you're going to have 30 seconds to a minute more every segment to talk, explain about your life, and have fun on the air. Okay, so what is the first song I have up here is, I was Jack,
Starting point is 01:03:34 you were Diane. Okay, so this is a song if you're not familiar with it. Now, if we're doing the show, you'd rather it sound like Yeah. Do you turn it up? Do you sing along? Yeah. Like you did it. Bann. It makes me want to talk faster.
Starting point is 01:03:52 How much time does that shave off? Well, that one right there in particular is going to shave off 20 seconds for the whole song. Then I've fed up others even faster, so it's going to give you probably two minutes more a segment. Oh, wow. Okay, you know this song from Keith Urban? Yes. Okay, Ray has sped this one up here. Come in.
Starting point is 01:04:09 How much time does this show off? People are going to be driving to work in such a hurry. The speeding tickets are just flying up. Not to mention Keith Urban might not like that. But even like, yeah, I mean, think of how much more content we could cover if we all just bit up our talking. That's true, too. No, she's doing that. They're doing that.
Starting point is 01:04:27 We can talk about more. We can talk about more. Kenny Chesney, get along. Speed this one up. Yeah, it's got to be trimmed up. Speed it up. That way we can talk more. That's going to talk more.
Starting point is 01:04:39 Get along. We get along. The upper hand. We can't love to dance. Come on. I broke. Sit along. Bye, bye, bye, bye, bye, bye.
Starting point is 01:04:49 That's funny. What about the slow songs are like mercy? Like, this may be tough. It can still be done. So a slow song like Brett Young Mercy We could speed it up It's going to sound a little different It's like a number two this week
Starting point is 01:05:03 All right It's like tag now You may have the mark To make this nice If you ever love you Have mercy And then we get back to the show It's like number two this week
Starting point is 01:05:15 Mercy All right we're back What a jam I love that song Well thank you Ray Moon Yeah Big hit right now I'd be interested to hear
Starting point is 01:05:24 Morgan Evan Kiss somebody sped up, huh? Mm-hmm. Yeah? Mm. Sometimes you gotta kiss somebody. All right. Phones, it's weird at first.
Starting point is 01:05:33 It really is weird at first, but people might get used to this. I feel like everybody would just get where they needed to go, like, way early. Aren't most things uncomfortable, too, before they're awesome? Yes. It might sound weird, but it's not wrong. All right. It's right. It's right.
Starting point is 01:05:48 It's time for the good news. With lunchbox. Carlos was told if he doesn't make some changes, he wasn't going to live to the age of 40. He weighed. 651 pounds. Wow, wow, wow. So he went on a diet. He lost 475 pounds.
Starting point is 01:06:07 Jeez, man. And now his goal is to run a marathon. He walked his first 5K, started running a little bit, and now his goal is to run a marathon. He lost 400 pounds? 475. What did he do? Do we know? He stopped drinking soda?
Starting point is 01:06:25 Because that'll do it. You want to look forward to? I'm not kidding. Just that. Everybody out there. Let me give you a piece of advice. This is truth. And I'm not, there's not an inch of me as facetious in this.
Starting point is 01:06:37 Do you want to change your life? Do you want to lose weight? Stop drinking soda. And for me, I love soda. Oh, when it burns. And I go, I'm going to tell you, I get that, and I go, and then it goes down. This is what it feels like in my body. If I can make a sound where it feels like in my body, this would be what it sounds like.
Starting point is 01:06:56 Oh, yeah. That's what it feels like when it goes down. Here's what I say. I like a soda too. Not even going to lie to you. Have one a week. Set your time. Have one a week.
Starting point is 01:07:09 Because if you make the thing, like I'm going to have one soda a week, you know what? You're probably going to have two. And that's okay too. Anything that you can do in moderation is okay. That being said, that soda, that candy, that sugar,
Starting point is 01:07:22 that's going to be cigarettes in five, seven years. It already kind of is. And we're learning that. chill on the sodas. I want to add to that and say that doesn't mean switch to diet soda and you'll be good. You have to cut out all the soda because I used to drink tons of diet Coke. And when I got off, I lost weight and felt better. Again, I love soda.
Starting point is 01:07:40 I just want to be honest with our listeners. I love soda. And I like to make another noise that it makes me feel. Sometimes I'll take the soda and I'll take the cup. I don't like a straw. Who wants a straw? No, no, no. Whenever you soda.
Starting point is 01:07:52 Because you want to like enjoy it all in your mouth. Not just like a little tube of it. You want to have just go. In your mouth. And sometimes when I swallow it, this is what it sounds like, because it feels so good. I swallow it and it goes, yay. It's what it feels like when it goes down. It's like a little cheer.
Starting point is 01:08:06 That being said, you want to lose weight? Stop drinking soda. Well, lunchbox, what you got? You might be on to something because he cut out fast food, fried foods, bread, soda, and alcohol, and started walking. Good for him. The food. I'm going to say this too. Believe me if you may.
Starting point is 01:08:20 Working out's fine. You should do it. It keeps your body healthy longer. if you don't eat right, don't even waste your time working out. Because that workout's 80% of it. Oh, no, excuse me, the eating's 80% of it. If you eat right and don't work out,
Starting point is 01:08:35 you'll lose weight and look good. If you eat right and work out, you'll look a little better. If you just work out and eat wrong, nothing's going to change. Nothing is going to change. So why even waste your time? Go volunteer with puppies or something instead.
Starting point is 01:08:45 You know what I mean? Mm-hmm. Would you like to hear another sound that my body makes? Yes. When you drink soda? Whenever I drink soda. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:08:51 So sometimes I get a cup. I like a plastic cup too. in it. Oh. Yeah, yeah. And I'll pour it down my throat and it goes like this. Happy New Year when it goes down. Really? Yeah. It's not good. It's not good. Happy New Year. But that's what's all about, you know? Get a
Starting point is 01:09:06 minimize. Minimize. Okay. Is that it Lunchbox? That's it. Thank you very much. That's what it's all about. That was tell me something good. Folks, it's your buddy and mine. Mr. Bobby Bones. Let know. Transmitting across America. This is the Bobby Boles.
Starting point is 01:09:23 So Eddie's worried because his kids are starting to like hip hop. Oh, well, what's wrong with that? Well, with hip hop comes a little different kind of lingo and conversations. You talking about bad words? Yeah, and the stuff that they talk about, like, I'm twisted. Like, I'm kind of torn because I feel happy that they're expanding in their music taste. Like, this is a jam. I get it.
Starting point is 01:09:53 But, I mean, they're going to start liking this. and then junior, my 10-year-old is going to start looking into other hip-hop artists and sometimes they get kind of nasty. But they have clean versions. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And also, what about country music? They talk about drinking all the time.
Starting point is 01:10:08 They talk about getting high and all kinds of stuff. Yeah, yeah, but hip-hop's not so secretive or, like, they don't use those innuendos. This is like straight up, like, we're just rolling. You know what I'm saying? And so I'm torn because I'm like, cool, respect. My kids like likes music, but like 10 years old, He's like starting to look at Drake and starting to research Drake's songs now.
Starting point is 01:10:30 And I'm like, oh boy, just stay away from that 69 guy. Like, you know what I mean? Oh, so he has free reign on the internet? He has, so he has like the Iheart radio app where he gets to choose his music and he has his playlists. Can you pick bad word songs? Well, we've said it to clean. But you know what I'm saying? Like, it's not that they're saying the actual bad word.
Starting point is 01:10:51 It's what they're talking about. You have to let him get in hip-hop. So like if you're- You can't shut down his, you're not rush. No, I just thought I thought I was doing good because he knows all about the Beatles and the Beach Boys. And then he just kind of threw me for a loop with like, Dad, have you heard that Drake song, God's Plan? God's Plan. And I'm like, God's Plan.
Starting point is 01:11:10 I hope that sometimes I won't. I mean, next thing you know, he's going to be walking around like, run down the street. Whoa. You know what I'm saying? You know what I'm saying. I mean. Like, okay, maybe I sound a little like old school. You sound like an old grandpa.
Starting point is 01:11:25 I'm a concerned parent. I had similar thoughts with 50 cent candy shop. Tell me about that one. So my kids were like, I'm to get to the candy shop. And I'm like, oh my goodness. But I mean, they think it's the candy shop. No, I get it. I'm okay with that.
Starting point is 01:11:41 Like, they're like, mom's to the candy shop. I'm going to get what I get. I mean, if you listen to the lyrics to that, it's awful. But we were all listening to that. I know. It didn't hurt us. I mean, I just worry. Like, this is him growing, and I like that he's growing into himself.
Starting point is 01:11:56 and what he likes, but at the same time, I've got to be, like, just careful with what he's listening to. All right, so something shady was happening in your neighborhood? Yeah, a little side hustle going down with the crossing guard. So tell me what would happen, what you would see with your eyes.
Starting point is 01:12:12 Well, I've witnessed it on multiple occasions and months apart, so I was like, well, this must be happening way more than I think, but the car slow, well, we're going slow anyway. It's a school zone, so you're 15 miles or less. And so the car, cars are already creeping and then she's kind of in the middle of the road doing her thing
Starting point is 01:12:29 and then every once in while or when I've seen it she's giving something to someone and that's driving by and they exchange but I don't know what's being exchanged but in your mind it's possibly money and drugs maybe but something's going on though some oxy oh maybe it looks like a little bit I mean I don't know I don't know that she doesn't look like the type where she's like hardcore drug dealer, but she could maybe... She could maybe have back pain, and so she's got access to pills that she shares with people.
Starting point is 01:13:06 And you think there's something happening in your neighborhood. Cars are going by, and there's transactions happening right in front of your face. I mean, the first time I saw it, I thought, oh, she must know that person, and she's giving them a little... Or like, come I give them a business card. You're doing a good job. Have it made my car. The third time I saw it, again, months apart, I'm like, what is going down? Like, I'm missing all kinds of transactions.
Starting point is 01:13:25 Well, Lunchbox decided to go to your neighborhood. You guys already live close. And what in your mind are you doing? Well, what I did is I did recon first. I watched how it went down. Did you see it happen? I saw it happen.
Starting point is 01:13:36 You did? And so I was like, yeah. I was like, this is crazy. Like, I thought Amy was just seeing things. Maybe Amy blinked at the long time. How did you go see it? Like, where did you go stand?
Starting point is 01:13:47 I told them where she was. And I parked on the side of the road. Like, because it's a street. So you just parked like you're in front of a house and you just sit in the car for a while. It's like, cover cop. You're on stakeout? Yeah. And you watch it happen. And so I was like, okay, this is a real deal.
Starting point is 01:14:00 So the next day, I went back, and I gave it a shot. So by getting a shot, what did you do? I just rolled down the window as I'm rolling by and hollered at her. Give me some of that stuff. Give me some of that stuff. Did you have like money in your hand?
Starting point is 01:14:16 I have a clap here. Were you nervous? I was really nervous because I was like, what if this is an undercover operation by a Like reverse undercover when I'm trying to do undercover. Like she's undercover. Yeah, because we're not like trying to bust her, but like something's going on. We're trying to do a radio bit. Like they pulled me over and be like, no, I was undercovering you.
Starting point is 01:14:35 No, like, oh. It's like that Spider-Man meme where they're pointing at each other. Love that. Okay. Morgan and number two and Mike D got that joke. Thank you. Thank you. Amy, as Millennials only got that.
Starting point is 01:14:45 I didn't hear you. It doesn't matter. It's a Spider-Man joke. I didn't get it. Here we go. Too much in disbelief. I mean, I know it's. happening with the fact that he saw it too means it's really happening all the time.
Starting point is 01:14:54 And you did see her handing. Oh, yeah. More than once? More than once. That's why I was like, it's real. That's why I was like, I got to get out. I got to go in. I got to try it.
Starting point is 01:15:02 Were you by yourself? I was by myself. Or was by myself? Or was the baby. No, no, baby was not with me. Can't do that with the baby. Family. All right.
Starting point is 01:15:07 So, here's lunchbox. Driving to the Crossing Guard, who Amy thinks is. Wait, you know what now? I think of it. Baby was in the back seat. It was. Oh, my God. I didn't even think about that.
Starting point is 01:15:16 Oh my gosh, I'm a terrible dad. I'm a terrible dad. Wait, why were you doing with the baby in the back? I didn't even think about it right now. I just talking about right now. I was like, it was. He was in the back seat. Oh, no.
Starting point is 01:15:26 Oh, no. I want to hear these kids. You brought a baby to a stakeout? No, no, no. Detectives don't do that. Oh, no. Okay, here we go. Here's lunchbox.
Starting point is 01:15:34 Driving by the crossing guard, who you think is probably selling something. Oh, yeah. All right, here we got, what we got. What we got? I five. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. What we got.
Starting point is 01:15:47 What we got. What we got. Woo! That's what I'm talking about the goods. The goods. Thank you. Okay, now. She gave you something.
Starting point is 01:15:57 Did you not hear the crinkle? He got it. Did she give me something? Yeah. No. Oh my God. You didn't hear the crinkle? Let me hear it again.
Starting point is 01:16:06 Hold on. There's a crinkle. Let's see it again. Before I play it back, do you promise that you got something? I swear to you, I got something. What did I tell you? Yo, baby. One of my friends even heard the bitch.
Starting point is 01:16:18 She's like, you're just making stuff up. Let me hear the crinkle again. We don't make stuff up. Here we listen to the crinkle. Here's why we can't make stuff up because we couldn't remember it. Yeah. For all of our listeners who think we're going to make stuff up. We can't because then we can't remember it.
Starting point is 01:16:29 And Lentworks has kept all of this from me. He did text me the other day saying, hey, where, what crossroads? He did text me and go, I need belled out. No, no, no. He did text me asking which street she worked on and she has two spots that I see her work. And so I gave him both locations. All right. Here we go again.
Starting point is 01:16:43 Let's listen to the same clev and listen for the crinkle. What we got, what we got. What we got? High five. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. What we got? What we got? What we got? That's what I'm talking about. The goods. The cringle. Thank you. Wait. How we're good, boy.
Starting point is 01:17:02 Okay, okay. Here's what we're going to do. I don't know. I feel, I don't know. You didn't hear the crinkle? I don't know what to expect. When I played the clip from my wife, she goes, oh my God, you hear the crinkle. Yeah, no, I hear the crinkle. But also, are you playing rap music or somebody else? Like, right, it seems like lunchbox is like rolling up. Like, listen, listen.
Starting point is 01:17:19 There's no. There's no music. I have everything off because I'm recording so I can't have anything in the background. True. Okay. You may hear my car rattle. No, no, no. And she handed you something. Oh, she handed me something, guys. This is real deal. Honestly. I don't know what it is.
Starting point is 01:17:35 I'm like, I'm so nervous. I don't know if it's drugs or like a note that says, have a good day. Lunchbox. Do you promise she handed you something? I promise. Were you shocked about what she handed you? Yes. I was like, oh my God. Gosh, and I was so, I was like, get out here, get out of here, get out of here. Do you want to reveal? Do you have it with you?
Starting point is 01:17:57 I got it. You have it with you? Oh, you want me to bring it in? It's in the car. Can we all try it? Okay, are you ready? Tell us. Okay, tell us. I got the picture of it. Okay, tell us what it is. And let me see the picture. Don't tell me me me. Okay, okay, okay. Okay, okay. Y'all, did I uncover a drug dealer? You have that in your car? I do. I go get it. If I get it, I'll go get it. You'll have to let me know. I'll hand it to Amy.
Starting point is 01:18:43 I don't know if Amy wants to touch it. I don't know if Amy wants to touch it. I don't know if Amy wants to touch it. I wouldn't. I'll touch it. That's what she said. You can't do it to yourself. Well, then do it to me.
Starting point is 01:18:58 That's what she said. The first time I heard that. Merry Christmas. And happy holidays. Starting point is 01:22:32 That's AMU. APUS.edu slash military. The Bobby Bone Show. Hey, so there's a crossing guard in Amy's neighborhood. Amy feels like the crossing guard is up to something. Yeah, I've just seen multiple transactions with other cars that are going really slow because it's a school zone.
Starting point is 01:22:53 And I see they exchange something. And I don't know what. So lunchbox went on the stakeout a day ahead of time. Ah, watched her and watched transactions go down. And I was like, Okay, I got to get it on the action, so I went back the next day. Now listen to the clip again because you will hear a crinkle. What we got?
Starting point is 01:23:12 What we got? High five. Yeah, yeah, yeah. What we got? What we got? That's what I'm talking about. The goods. That's the crinkle right there.
Starting point is 01:23:20 Now you show me the picture of it. I have so many questions. Hey, let's show Morgan number two. How did you know how much money to give her? Amy? I just had it in my hand. First time's free. Okay.
Starting point is 01:23:32 Okay. Morgan number two is now looking at it. What is it? Okay. I don't even know what to say. I know. Okay. Are you ready?
Starting point is 01:23:45 Amy, are you ready to see it? Yeah. You gotta close your eyes. Close your eyes. Listen to the creakle. Oh, yeah. She's gonna get us. For sure in a baggie.
Starting point is 01:23:56 No, I don't want you touching it. Oh. You can hold it in your hand, hold your hand open, and she can just look. And we don't open your eyes yet. You don't need to touch it. And three. Close your eyes.
Starting point is 01:24:05 Two, one, go. It's a peppermint. Are you serious? Are you serious? Are you serious. It's nice. My goodness. This nice old lady.
Starting point is 01:24:16 What is, are you serious? This nice old lady is handing out peppermines and Amy's accusing her of being Pablo Escobar. I mean, she's being nice to the neighborhood. That's the transaction. Y'all, it looks way shady. Like, like, whizabeth. This lady probably volunteering her time.
Starting point is 01:24:46 She was going to slam her. I thought for sure. I was like, oh my gosh. We're about to bust someone, like big time. I thought he was about to show me some pills. It's a green peppermint. It's like a white peppermint with like the green instead of the red. Oh, my gosh.
Starting point is 01:25:04 What would you like to say to her in case she's listening? Man, I'm so sorry. I thought the worst of you. I should have thought the best of you because you're a crossing guard and you're protecting our neighborhood and keeping the children safe. And I'm sorry. Like, oh my gosh, I thought that lunch fuck good drugs. Okay, now that's done. But to be fair, there was exchanges going down.
Starting point is 01:25:31 And now we know it's innocent. And you saw it too, did it look shady to you when you talked? It did look shady. But did she hand it to you the same way she handed out. Same way that she handed to everybody else. All right. Maybe she sniffed you out. The Bobby Bone Show, Bobby Bone.
Starting point is 01:25:43 Here's what I have for you. I give you a fictional city from a TV show. You tell me what show is there. Cool. Don't miss it though. So, for example, here is an free one. Anybody can answer it.
Starting point is 01:25:56 Pony. What show? Oh, that's Parks and Rec. Right. You would have got a point if that had been real. No, no points. Okay, here we go. It's the city they live in a Parks and Rec.
Starting point is 01:26:05 Amy, you're up first. Mayberry. What show is in Mayberry? I know. Andy Griffin. Oh, no. Say it again? What?
Starting point is 01:26:19 What's the name of the show? Andy Griffith. I did ask again Alex said that Alex said that It's Andy Griffith Oh T.H so not in And that does some people
Starting point is 01:26:30 All right good job Lunchbox Yeah Hawkins Indiana Hawkins Indiana Hawkins Indiana Hawkins Indiana The only one I can think of
Starting point is 01:26:41 is the middle The middle he says Stranger Things Oh yes Hockens Sheriff How about Eddie Dillon Texas Oh Friday Night Lights
Starting point is 01:26:50 Correct Who Amy Bedrock. Oh, the Flintstones. Correct. Lunchbox, Bayside. Oh, that's saved by the bell.
Starting point is 01:27:01 Correct. Eddie. Quohog. What? Oh, come on. Quohog? Yeah. Oh, that's Harry Potter.
Starting point is 01:27:09 Oh, no. Lunchbox, what do you think? Family guy, yes. Do we have any score or we just been running wild? Well, I got one wrong. Amy's undefeated. And what about you? Throw clear in there.
Starting point is 01:27:20 Sorry. Amy, let's see. You went, Amy. How about Gotham? Hit it out of the park, Amy. Well, there's a show called Gotham. What's the city? Batman.
Starting point is 01:27:34 How about Springfield? Hit it out of the park, Amy. It's the cartoon people. Is it the Simpsons? And for the win. For the win-win. King's Landing. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 01:27:58 It's not King of Queens. Kings Landing. It's the other cartoon people. Right? Kings Landing. Five seconds. What TV shows in Kings Landing? Answer?
Starting point is 01:28:16 I don't know. It's Game of Thrones. Yes, that's right. Well, anyway. It's time for the good news. With Amy. Tell me something good. Oh, man.
Starting point is 01:28:37 So there's this chicken named Colorado, and it got too large for her own legs to support herself due to factory farm chickens. Oh, wow. They're bred to grow really quickly, like way faster than they should. But there's this rescue farm that will take in these chickens. Poor Colorado, they thought they were going to have to put her down because she just was so uncomfortable. She couldn't walk.
Starting point is 01:28:56 She couldn't support herself. Well, the husband at this sanctuary, he read about a chicken wheelchair online. A chicken wheelchair. Yeah. So then he built one for Colorado. And ever since Colorado got her wheelchair, her sparkle is bad. Is this a real story? Yes, there's a rescued factory farm.
Starting point is 01:29:16 They rescued chickens that are, you know, basically born to fatten up and then give birth or eat. Yeah, eat, actually. And Colorado got saved. They built a wheelchair. You can't believe that or what? No, a wheelchair. A chicken named Colorado in a wheelchair. All of those things.
Starting point is 01:29:33 That's what it's all about right there. That was Tell Me Something Good. The Babo show. Here's Amy's pile of stories. Relying on technology allows us to forget five things a day. I saw that. And I agree because I don't know anybody's phone number and I don't know how to get anywhere. That's on the list.
Starting point is 01:29:51 Because I always just type it in. Like with my phone, I'll just yell at my Siri to take me somewhere. What are the things we forget? So the five things we forget are passwords, other people's phone numbers, how to spell certain words. Oh, man, me too. And I don't even try anymore. I hit it.
Starting point is 01:30:06 And if it doesn't autocorrect, I just send it anyway. So it's either spell check or hopefully it's the person's spell recognized on the other side of it because I don't even try. How to do basic math and then how to write legibly because between our phones and technology or computers, like we don't really write that much anymore. And then some of the things are outside of the top five. Like Bobby, you mentioned directions, birthdays, what time shows are on. Oh, birthdays. It's actually helped me. I don't know anybody's birthday.
Starting point is 01:30:31 But having... The calendar helps you. Big time. And I put in the people's birthdays that I really like. Basically, it's just Amy and my exes. Wow. I know. I know.
Starting point is 01:30:41 So, oh, you know, another funny thing. People forget. This was number six on the list. So almost top five. Their own phone number. Like, sometimes if they're asked for it, fill it out, like, sometimes they're like, shoot, what is my own phone number? Yeah, you don't have to say it that much. You've had yours forever.
Starting point is 01:30:54 I've had my phone number. 2003? Yeah. So you've had the same one. I switched a few years ago, and it did take me a while to learn it because I was like, oh, I don't really know. You don't call yourself. Right. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:31:07 I do sometimes I'm really lonely. Oh. Hey, Bobbi. Hey, are you good? Yeah, I'm okay. How what else? So couples in happier relationships say these things to each other more often. So you can, you know, jot these down, not if you're driving, but just make sure that you're telling your partner this.
Starting point is 01:31:24 Thank you. If you're expressing gratitude in your relationship, even for the small things, not just for the big, it will really impact things. You make me laugh. Make sure you let them know that they're funny because couples that can laugh together. it means that they, you know, enjoy each other's company and each other's jokes. You mean a lot to me. So people want to feel valued and appreciated. So make sure you remind them.
Starting point is 01:31:45 And then lastly, I love you. Like if you're not someone that says it all the time, but simply put, saying I love you is an active reminder of your admiration for one another. Poppy's never said it. I know to anybody. My dog, all time. But next, there's still time. This is the year.
Starting point is 01:32:04 Amy put her fist in the air like she was pumping me up. She was like, you can do it. But, yeah. 2019. There you go. Right? Yeah, of course. What else?
Starting point is 01:32:10 Okay. You know the top most productive time of day? When is it for you? When are you the most productive? Two parts. Either at like 6 a.m., which I'm not a morning person, but I've been awake a few hours to that's what we start doing. I'm like an hour into the show.
Starting point is 01:32:24 Probably then or like 6 p.m. Right before I go, like I have a few hours before I go down. And like I'm just hammering away the next day. Oh, wow. But my schedule's odd. Yeah, you're not really average. So for those people that are, listening right now, it's the first three hours of your day.
Starting point is 01:32:39 That's when you're most productive. That's me? Okay. Six a.m.? I wake up at 3.30 now. Yeah. But that's when you are cranking stuff out. So if you have your list of MIT's, do you know MIT's? My husband taught me this.
Starting point is 01:32:51 Military term? It's your most important tasks. So he tries to help me make lists and prioritize them. And he's like, what are your MIT's? Number them, one through 10 and knock out one to 10. I'm kind of hot. It's kind of hot. Right.
Starting point is 01:33:05 That was Amy's pile of stories It's time for the good news With Bobby Yeah, home is something good Firefighters in Tennessee Cut through a wall at a family's home To rescue a dog That was chasing a squirrel in the attic
Starting point is 01:33:21 The dog's up in the attic Taze me after a squirrel Falls through And firefighters, they go in Chattanooga And they go and have to cut a hole in the wall And they get Bella out Who's a wiener dog Luckily, everybody survived
Starting point is 01:33:36 Everybody's good. Firefighters just used to saw cut to the wall. They're like, Bella, they're trying to make the dog not move while they're cutting the wall. So they cut back there, but the dog obviously runs to the sound. But everything's good.
Starting point is 01:33:46 So good for the firefighters, good for the dog. Everybody wins in that one. That's funny, huh? Yeah. Funny because everybody got out of okay. All right, that's what it's all about right there. That's Tell Me Something Good. There you go.
Starting point is 01:33:57 That was Tell Me Something Good. Bobby Bones show. Bonehead. Norrie up the day. This story comes with us from Royal Palm Beach, Florida. A 28-year-old man's working at Arby's. He's supposed to get off at 10 p.m. And the manager comes up and says, hey, someone called in,
Starting point is 01:34:12 I need you to work overtime. He's like, look, I got plans on my girlfriend, no. The manager pulls out pepper spray, pepper sprays him and chases him around the store with a knife trying to make him stay and work overtime. But he pepper sprayed him because he just don't want to work more? Yeah, he didn't want to work overtime. And the manager's like, no, that's not acceptable.
Starting point is 01:34:29 He pepper sprayed him and chased him with a knife to make him stay. Oh. I think of people thought that would work. He was not going to be a very effective employee. I'm saying. Like you spray him and then makes more sandwiches? It's not very smart. It's crazy that that guy is the boss.
