It's been a minute. Our daughter, when she first got, here, yes, had some moments. And then our son a little bit now, because he's almost nigh, but sort of like a toddler
Starting point is 00:03:06 sometimes. Lunchbox's your baby? Is he old enough to throw a tantrum? I don't think he understands what a tantrum is. He's learned to cry a little bit, but he doesn't, I mean, he doesn't really throw a tantrum. How old you, baby? One years old. Eddie? Yeah, I have two. My son,
Starting point is 00:03:22 five years old and my foster kid for Tantrum City. Yeah, every day. Your oldest son? No, he's over the tantrum. did? I mean, rarely. He's maybe once or twice a year tantrum guy. Well, here's the clip I heard it made me think of you guys. I don't have any kids, so
Starting point is 00:03:38 I was thinking about you guys. Apparently people, parents are always looking for ways to get their children to stop crying. So this dad found a way by distracting his daughter by turning their tantrums into a game where they face off on who can tantrum the best. Okay. And he filmed the full game. Here is the audio.
Starting point is 00:03:54 My turn, my turn. Jenny. Jimmy. My turn. My turn. Okay, I'm going to cry. First, I'm going to cry. First, I'm going to cry. And Georgia, you cry, then you cry. Okay, Jane. Okay, ready? Okay, hang on. Okay, Georgia, now it's your turn.
Starting point is 00:04:10 Wait, it's not your turn yet. Georgia, now it's your turn. Georgia cry. Okay, Jen, your turn. Good job. Good job. Yeah, good job. Okay, my turn, my turn.
Starting point is 00:04:24 Hang on. So what's the point of this? Just to get her to chill out. Yeah, so he's making a game out of it. Yeah, so it makes it. Reverse psychology. I like it. Yeah, yeah, okay, you get your turn. Let me go now. Let me go now.
Starting point is 00:04:34 Pretty funny. Here's the Bobby Bones Show podcast, highlight segment of the day. I read this story. Tell me what you think happened, okay? Okay. So this guy comes home from work last week, and he can tell that someone had been in his house. Because you just look around and your stuff slow off.
Starting point is 00:04:51 He's like, huh? He lives in a single family home, typical street. He said it's possible he forgot to lock his back door, but whoever entered his house didn't bring. break anything to gain entry. So you're talking about he just went into this, whomever went into the house easily. Now the strange part is the burglars who went into the home did not take anything. They cleaned the house so thoroughly from top to bottom.
Starting point is 00:05:19 Like went through even the cracks and crevices of places. Like scrubbed it. They even crafted little origami roses on toilet paper and put them in the bathroom. He thought the whole thing was weird and creepy. Oh, wow. And then he reported the incident to police. Amy, what do you think happened? I think that somebody was hired to clean a house and they clean the wrong one?
Starting point is 00:05:47 That's what I thought. And they did a good job. And they just crushed it. And they did the wrong address. But, I mean, they had to get in somehow. Or did it say how they got in? The guy said he may have forgot to unlock the back door. And so they just were like, oh, they left the door open for us.
Starting point is 00:06:05 Like you go home and everything is so clean. So I think about, that's what I thought too, and I laughed out loud. So that's that not it? I don't know. They don't know. Because also another thing that came to my head is that somebody gifted that to him. Like, if I were to come home and, I don't know, Bobby for my birthday had hired some. Why are you yelling at me right now?
Starting point is 00:06:23 I get you good gifts. There's no need to yell at me right now. I was just, no, hypothetical. Hypothetically speaking. Yeah, you give great gifts. But yeah, if I were to walk in and my whole house was totally professionally cleaned with, you know, touches like that, like a rose petals on the toilet paper, I would be like, wow, this is the best gift ever. Any other theories in the room? Lunchbox, you have a theory on this?
Starting point is 00:06:46 Man, I thought that his wife maybe hired someone and didn't tell him because she was tired of cleaning the house. And so she was spending a little side money on a cleaner and getting credit for herself. What did this be the... Like she was taking all the credit. Is he married? Mike Deke, because I don't see anything about a wife. It said single family home. So I think he was just...
Starting point is 00:07:08 That's a way of saying, like, it's probably a home with a few bedrooms, few baths. Right, that's why I just took it as a married. I would think that's a hilarious practical joke. Oh, if that's a practical joke, play well not me. But I'm talking about you go in and you do... It's so over the top. Flowers.
Starting point is 00:07:24 Yeah. Oregon. And you're just like, wait, what just happened? Like, is it? That's a pretty funny practical joke, right? Nothing was missing. No, because it was police say, like, well, sir. What do they say?
Starting point is 00:07:38 He said he still doesn't know who did it. The best theory is that it was an accident. Now, let's imagine, if you will. You're the house that did. You came home and your clothes are still on the floor. Fire the company. Your toilet paper is just sitting there normal. No origami.
Starting point is 00:07:54 You were promised origami on your toilet paper. Honey, where's origami, row? It's said on the brochure. We paid extra for that. So I thought that story was super funny. Remember Ray's idea, his business? Yeah. When Ray Munda, what was your idea?
Starting point is 00:08:10 You were going to do what? Yeah, that's exactly what we do. We go into pieces of people's houses and we clean it up and make it real tidy right before they go to bed. Right before they turn down. And then you actually tuck them in if they want, right? Right. The dogs would be taken out, dishes done, and then as they're ready to go to bed, turn down for what? Turn down for what?
Starting point is 00:08:30 Then you have another business idea that you pitched to me that I didn't go on the earth? with? Hold on. Can I get the Shark Tank theme? Because what I remember is Raymundo, he's like, he'll sometimes pitch me bits. 99% of the time. He's like, I got a secret. It's about a country artist. And it's some real salacious thing that I would never talk about. And he's like, I saw so-and-so with so-and-so, and they're out. But he pitched a bit. Okay, let's go over to the Shark Tank. Ramundo, here he is, our audio producer. He's got, It is maybe a bomb because I don't remember what it was. Raymonda, what is your next idea on the shark tank?
Starting point is 00:09:07 Yeah, so hey sharks. Thanks for having me. No problem. I came up with this idea at lunchtime. It was right after work and I was exhausted. I didn't have a place to take a nap. My house was too far and I thought maybe a lot of other people that live in suburbia suffer from this issue. They don't have a place to take a nap. So I would have a business where people would come to take naps.
Starting point is 00:09:24 We have blankets. We have pillows and you can just come into your bunk bed and take a nap for 30 minutes. And then you're out. You go back to work. And people just don't have a place to lay their head during the moment. middle of the day. They do at night. They go to their house. But why make that commute when you can come to my business called nooner? You're going to tell your friends about it. Can't call it that. Wait, why? What's wrong with that? Nuneer is a bad, like, yes, at noon. I don't know what that
Starting point is 00:09:48 means. Don't worry about it. It's a place you get a nap in. Also, is it, is this like a mobile bus with bunks? Yeah, that's also a possible idea. I was thinking more of a storefront, breaking mortar. Oh, I'm thinking you drive over to the time. And then you're in an afternoon business meeting, people say, hey, why is he so upbeat and well-rested? He had a nooner. You can't. I mean, I think that I would invest, guys. Are you all in?
Starting point is 00:10:15 Wow, Jimmy, you're so refreshed today. What did you do? Well, I went by this business downtown. Had a nooner. It's so dope. It seems like a little nap pod. Yeah, they actually had a version of this in my college, and people would just, you'd share blankets, share pillows.
Starting point is 00:10:33 They clean them every night. No, no, after every person you clean it. Every night. You have to put a fresh one out after every nooner. And then I also thought, there's honestly, guys, there's a possibility to branch off and to maybe partner with another company, Match.com. And then people start meeting people at the Nooner location. Oh, so now you're doing the hotel by the hour.
Starting point is 00:10:55 No. Yeah. You can't. No. That's a no. Okay. That's a no, no, no. Any sharks?
Starting point is 00:11:01 I'm going to tell you, with race ideas, there's always like. a morsel of a great idea. Yes. Like with Turned Down for What and Nooner? Listen, I'm not putting my money in there. But there's something to these portable drive-around sleep pods. There is. There's something there. Ramon, I'm not going to invest now, but I do admire that you don't stop thinking. Thank you, Sharks.
Starting point is 00:11:23 We'll see you next time, then. All right, thank you guys. We've got two million-dollar businesses right there. What's it called the business again? Nooner. What's your slogan? a nooner. The Bobby Bone Show is proud to be supported by Grand Canyon University, an affordable, private,

Starting point is 00:15:55 Yeah. You do? You do with the kids? Yeah, not as much. In fact, when I'm there, sometimes the yoga instructors are like, hey, it's so good to see you. We're happy you're here. But so I used to go all the time
Starting point is 00:16:07 But now I'm like once a week Oh yeah that's still a good amount I haven't been in a few months But I went last night And I was cursed Because I was put right behind A really attractive female Oh, cursed
Starting point is 00:16:17 I'm not trying to have that in yoga class Because I went and set my mat up I'm not trying to creep on anybody In any workout room or class So you were set up first Yeah I was set up first I get to early I get over early
Starting point is 00:16:29 Yeah So I'm there and I got my mat And I'm not in the front row I get in the middle Because I don't want to be in the front of the back I like to be just trapped so people don't really pay attention to me. And then she says up right in front of me. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:16:40 You call it a woman or a girl. She's probably like 28 to 33. It's a woman, man. Okay, well, this woman. Yeah, I'd be like, this girl was, yeah. It's a woman. Well, whatever the case. I know, but.
Starting point is 00:16:51 What? I don't know. It just feels weird to be like that. So that was her yoga. Great. Yeah, you were watching, right? I were impressed. I was trying not to so hard.
Starting point is 00:16:59 I get that, bones. And I didn't, and there were mirrors everywhere. Everywhere you turn to here. I know. I couldn't. She was everywhere. So at the end of it, I was just looking at the ground. I was trying to get my stretch on, trying to get my yoga on.
Starting point is 00:17:12 Did you get a number? No, I didn't talk to her. What am I going to do? I don't know, man. I don't know. I mean, you're single. You're like ready to mingle. Hey, do you grab some of her sweat, maybe sending it into 23 and me, get some data pro box?
Starting point is 00:17:23 It's not Jurassic Park, dude. What are you talking about? Well, that way you can find out her genetics. He's trying to be funny like Eddie. And he's really grasping at things now. No, I, that was a stretch. Speaking of stretching, right? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:34 Hey. Yeah. Got them. So that was, so I did the class and the teacher, this is what was an annoying as me. So here I am. I'm trying to do good yoga. I feel pressure because this woman lady girl's right in front of me. Woman lady girl.
Starting point is 00:17:51 So the teacher keeps coming over to me and using me as example of ways not to do it. Oh. So I'll do my thing and she's like, no, move your hips. No, it's a woman lady girl. It's speaking to class too. And so the woman lady girl is like grabbing my hips and like, no, you should do it this way. And so people are looking at me being adjusted. And then there's a dude next to me.
Starting point is 00:18:08 It's like smirking. Because he's awesome at it. He's awesome at it. And so then she would go to the class and she would talk to me but through the whole class. So she'd be on the other side of the room and she would say, now listen, if you're not able to bend your back in a certain way, don't. But I knew she was talking to me through the class. You're just self-conscious thinking that she's talking about. No, I don't care about that.
Starting point is 00:18:29 I don't care about trying to get my, I'm trying to be a good yogurt, you know what I mean? That's all. Yogi. Yeah. So, hmm. Go ahead. You're going to hit up that class again, thinking that that same girl might be there? I don't do that.
Starting point is 00:18:42 Do what? You don't, what, go after fate? Like, you don't follow your dreams? Yeah, you love that movie Serendipity. And you know what? Serendipity, they didn't chase it. Wrote in the book. That's true.
Starting point is 00:18:52 You know what? Nowadays, everyone's like, yeah, we met on Bumble. We met on whatever. Dude, this is like, yeah, we met a yoga class. I don't have. She was this, like, young lady girl woman. Do you have a story already? First of all, I don't even know she was.
Starting point is 00:19:07 Secondly, I don't have the nerve. What color hair? To talk. Brown? She's blonde. Well, no, kind of like black roots, but blonde on the... Okay, like I do. Okay, hmm, let's see.
Starting point is 00:19:18 Yeah, no, there's nothing to say. There's no story about... There's no misconnection. You are blessed in a little bit, though. You think you'd recognize her if you saw her out in straight clothes. Yeah, yeah, yeah. What if she tweeted you? That'd be like, what up?
Starting point is 00:19:29 That's what I'm saying? So, all right, was she in a tank top? I'm not playing this game. No, really, what was she wearing? Yeah, that's what I'm saying. How much do you remember? Watch this. Answer the question.
Starting point is 00:19:39 How much do you, like, do you know what kind of? Everything. Like, down to the brand of the pants. Hold on. Wait. Eddie, what are you saying? You're going to know everything about it. Like what?
Starting point is 00:19:47 Why? Because you were so into her. I know you were. No, no. I'm not playing this game. I don't know. I'm not playing this stupidest game. Bobby's like,
Starting point is 00:19:55 Lou Lou Lill Lemen. Yeah, Lill Leman. She had tight yoga pants. Matching dog. That's not the point of this whole segment. Green shoes. No shoes. It's yoga. Come on.
Starting point is 00:20:04 But I know that, like, this is the thing with, like, really attractive people. One day I'd like to be really attractive. Because I can't imagine. Do you wear your glasses during yoga? Hot yoga, where you're sweating? The first time ever I did. I did it foggy. But now I can't.
Starting point is 00:20:15 Now I dorky, I felt the first time I did hot yoga. You're all, like, picking them up with your finger. And I couldn't see. I was like wiping them with my... I'm not having this segment. What kind of car you get in when she left? I don't know. You follow her.
Starting point is 00:20:27 What was she driving? I don't know. What's that license plate? Guys, I don't even try anymore. Golly. Okay. I'm done with this. Can I hit the second?
Starting point is 00:20:34 Does she have any tattoos? I didn't see any tattoos, no. I tried not to look. I'm telling you. I tried as hard as I could not to look ever. Eventually, I would like. But you couldn't avoid it because there was mirrors everywhere. I couldn't avoid it.
Starting point is 00:20:45 And she was right in front of you. Yeah. It was like gray pants. Yeah. What color? I call her? You guys are stupid. I'm done with this segment.
Starting point is 00:20:55 I've been trying to be done with this. Anyway, I don't even know my point of this whole thing was. You found love at a yoga place. No, even if you're uncomfortable, you should do. I don't know The Bobby Bones show Okay, so you went and tried to haggle stores For non-negotiable items?
Starting point is 00:21:09 Yeah, they have their set prices At a garage sale you can haggle At stores, you usually can't haggle But Dave Ramsey says you always ask Is that the best price you can give me? So you went to get milk. Where'd you go? I went to Corner Happy and Healthy.
Starting point is 00:21:23 Walgreens? Yeah. Okay. Hello, how are you? Just one gallon of milk. Okay. $3.92. $3.92?
Starting point is 00:21:31 I think it's worth probably about $3. It's probably worth $292. $2.92? You got a deal. There you go. $0.92 more cents. Oh, I think you said $2.92. No, it's $3.92.
Starting point is 00:21:44 You're good at this negotiation. I'll give you $3.50. I got to have to be $0. And I'll pay the two pennies. Okay. $3.65 last offer. A $3.90. You're a tough bargaining.
Starting point is 00:21:57 I'm out. I can't do that. I think it's only worth $3. I went all the way at the 365. I know. You're not going to meet me in the middle of nothing. It's not mad to negotiate with it. Oh, man.
Starting point is 00:22:08 I know, right? That hurts. Have a great day. Oh, you walk off and left it? Yeah, I'm out. I had $3. Oh, my goodness. So you didn't buy it?
Starting point is 00:22:17 No. Oh. Did you go put it back up? No, guys. In a negotiation, I was hoping, as the negotiator, I walk away and they call me back. Oh, no, okay, okay, we'll give it to you. You went and tried to Hagel up price it. The price of gas?
Starting point is 00:22:31 Yeah. Oh, my goodness. Okay. I'm trying to get unleaded out there. I'm going to fill up, but it says $2.39 a gallon. Any way I can get it for $2.25 a gallon? I have to stay the price for this for ass for. Ah, you drive a hard bargain.
Starting point is 00:22:44 All right, $2.30 a gallon. Take it or leave it. $2.39, take it or leave it. No. All right, last offer. I'm going to offer me. I'm going to kind of offer you for $2.39 a gallon. Oh, I can charge you more.
Starting point is 00:22:56 No, no. Because it says $2.39. So $2.33 is my last offer. I'm out. 239 with a registered reward card, save you $0.30 per gallon if that's what you're up to. So you can get it for $2.36 a gallon with a registered reward card. Yeah, but what about $2.33, no rewards card? How about $2.39 with no rewards card?
Starting point is 00:23:14 You're a tough bargaining. I'm out. Thank you. You walked off to? Yeah, I didn't get any gas. All right, we'll do one more. These made me a little bit uncomfortable. I don't like her, though. A little bit. All right, here we go. There's that lunchbox haggling for a lottery ticket.
Starting point is 00:23:26 There's no way. The people don't even own this stuff and he's trying to get them to come down. Here. Oh, yes, sir. Can I get one of these giant jumbo bucks? Two dollars. Here you go. There's two.
Starting point is 00:23:41 Well, while I'm thinking, I pay you the one, I scratch, I win, and then I'll make up the difference. Don't work that way. Sorry. What if I give you $1.50? Two bucks. Well, no, no, no. Is that the best price you can give me? It's the best price I can give you.
Starting point is 00:23:58 It's the only price I can give you. What if I give you 175 and then I win how much? 50,000, then I give you the quarter and I give you an extra dollar on top of it. Two bucks, two bucks. Oh, man, you're a tough negotiator. I think 180 last offer. Can't accept. Take it or leave it?

Starting point is 00:28:23 So a woman tracked down a nurse who helped her as a child when she was 14 years. years old, she had a spinal tumor and she spent four months in the hospital for treatment. And one of the nurses who cared for her during her stay made such an impression on her that now at 43 years old, she searched for her and finally found her thanks to social media. Wow. Yeah. And she was just like 2,000 people like retweeted her, you know, her trying to find her. And then, yeah, she was tracked down. And she was just like, wanted to hug her and thank her for everything she did when she was in the hospital as a child.
Starting point is 00:28:56 That's a good one there. was tell me something good. Bobby Bones Show. Bonehead. Norrie of the day. This story comes to us from Great Falls, Montana. A 20-year-old man is facing numerous charges after he wanted to get his friends some pizza. The pizza delivery truck was out front, and it had a bunch of hot pizzas, so he jumped in and drove off.
Starting point is 00:29:16 Thought, oh, this is so funny because they have real ovens on this pizza truck, so he pulls up to his friend's house and goes, pizza, pizza, pizza for everybody. And he got charged with theft, stealing the car, and many other crimes. You know, though, for the rest of their life, that's going to be one of the funniest pranks. Yeah, probably. And mostly with these boneheads, I go, not worth it. But how old are they? Do they say lunchbox? 20 years old.
Starting point is 00:29:40 When they're our age, right? They're going to look back at that and think it was the funniest thing. It's going to be such a great story. Nobody got hurt. Right. He jumped in a pizza truck. It shouldn't have done it, by the way. It's an innocent bonehead-ish.
Starting point is 00:29:54 Ish. Don't do it, kids. Yeah, don't do it. But kind of funny, huh? Yeah. If you draw, Amy, if you stole a pizza truck and you drove it to my house, you would think it was hilarious? I would think it was so funny.
Starting point is 00:30:05 Oh, okay. All right, lunchbox. I'm lunchbox. That's your bonehead story of the day. All right, time for riddle me this. These are all kids riddles. Get it and get a point. The first riddle in riddle me this.
Starting point is 00:30:20 What is always in front of you but can't be seen? This is the first kid's riddle of the day. What is always in front of you but cannot be seen. They're writing their answers down. I'm in for the win. Lunchbox is in. I got it. Producer Eddie is in.
Starting point is 00:30:44 Amy, we're coming over to you. What is always in front of you but can't be seen. The future? Correct. Oh, my God. Why is he surprised? Lunchbox, what do you have? The future.
Starting point is 00:30:54 Boom. Two, right. Eddie. Windshield. Oh. But you can see it. You see right through it. But you see it.
Starting point is 00:31:04 You still see it. Yeah. Okay. Riddle me this. Question number two. I can be found in water, but I'm never wet. What am I?
Starting point is 00:31:18 I can be found in water. But never wet. What am I? Riddle me this. What? I can be found in water. Yeah, louder. That's what we need.
Starting point is 00:31:36 I can be found in water but never wet. Everything in the water's wet. Or is it? I can be found. Say it one more time. I can be found in water, but never wet. What am I? I'm in for the wind.
Starting point is 00:32:00 Is it frustrated in for the wind from lunchbox? Yeah, I'm in. Is it windshield, Eddie? No. I'm maybe too literal on all these, but. Amy, do you have anything? A cloud. A cloud.
Starting point is 00:32:09 Interesting. Would you talk me through that? No. No. Just wonder how you got there. I don't know. That is incorrect. I'm sorry.
Starting point is 00:32:19 Lunchbox, I can be found in water, but I'm never wet. What am I? At first I had cloud. How did you have cloud? I don't know. See, thank you, thank you. I went with reflection. Reflection.
Starting point is 00:32:30 Oh, that's really good. Oh my gosh, that's it. Reflection is correct. Yeah. Eddie? Oh my gosh, here we go. I put oxygen. Oh.
Starting point is 00:32:47 H-2-0. Right. But that's a solid guess. Thank you. Yeah. I mean, Bill Nye, the science guy, might argue on your behalf. Okay.
Starting point is 00:32:55 But that is not the answer we have here. Lunchbox takes the lead with one question to go. Are you ready? Ready. Final riddle. And riddle me this. When things go wrong, what can you always count on? When things go wrong,
Starting point is 00:33:15 what can you always count on? Riddle me this. When things go wrong, what can you always count on? Guys, I think I have it. Ooh. Eddie, you've almost been eliminated in the way, but it's fine. So I'm going to go out on a limb here. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:33:35 Go big. I mean, I don't know. I'm just like going out here. All right, Eddie, I'm going to let you go first. Okay. I'm able to win. Thank you. For any reason whatsoever, you cannot win, but let's see if you get it.
Starting point is 00:33:43 Calculator. When things go wrong, what can you always count on a calculator that's incorrect? You count on... Amy, you can tie if you get this. Go ahead. You can always count on your first. fingers. Oh, that's a solid guess.
Starting point is 00:33:56 One, two, three, four. Your fingers, your fingers is correct. What? It is? Oh, wow. Now over to Lunchbox, if he gets it, he wins, if he doesn't, it's a tie, we'll go to sudden death. Lunchbox, for the win, when things go wrong, what can you always count on? Count on your hands, boys and girls.
Starting point is 00:34:12 Mike D, does hands count or it has to be fingers? Mike D is that, what, excuse me? It has to be fingers. It has to be what's written on the piece of paper. I won't argue, but. So we have a tie. We're going to sudden death. Sudden death.
Starting point is 00:34:27 The actual, the rule is it has to be written on the page as the answer. So this is what we do every time. Eddie, you've been eliminated. I'm sorry. Sudden death. Thanks, fans. Here we go. If you know it, just buzz in your name.
Starting point is 00:34:39 The first one to get it wins. Okay. I'm tall when I'm young. I'm short when I'm old. When am I? I'm tall when I'm young. I'm short. when I'm old
Starting point is 00:34:58 What am I? Think about that. Riddle me this. I'm tall when I'm young and I'm short. No, I'm tall when I'm young. I'm short when I'm old. Riddle me this. Do you want a hint?
Starting point is 00:35:18 Yes. Hold on. I'm tall when I'm old. Tall when I'm short. No, no. The first hint is I own these things. Okay.
Starting point is 00:35:29 I'm tall when I'm young. I'm short when I'm old. Hint number two, they're considered feminine. Not by all, but they're considered feminine. I get made fun enough for having these things. I don't know. You're talking about yourself or all, like... He has these things that are feminine that are tall when they're young and short.
Starting point is 00:35:55 When they're old. Tall and short, young and old. What's tall and short besides people? Are you ready for lunchbox? Lunchbox. I'll say flowers because they shrivel up and die, so they get short. Incorrect. One final clue.
Starting point is 00:36:12 Fire is involved. I'm tall when I'm young. I'm short when I'm old. If you don't get in the next 10 seconds, Amy, it's a tie and everybody just, everybody wins. Even me. Even you win, Eddie. Yes.
Starting point is 00:36:24 This is exhausting me. Take your time, Amy. I'm tall when I'm young. I'm short when I'm old. Bobby has them. They're feminine and there's fire involved. Yes. Five seconds.
Starting point is 00:36:37 My original answer of Benjamin Button is not going to fit this. Time, I need an answer? I'm sorry, time is up. It's a candle. I'm tall when I'm young. I'm short when I'm old. I have them.
Starting point is 00:36:54 They're feminine, considered, and they have to fire. Yes, that's so true. Well, everybody wins. We have no losers today. There you go. All right. The Bobby Bones show.
Starting point is 00:37:05 All right, I'll give you a clip from a TV show. All you have to do is name the TV show. Okay. I got five of them. Let's see how many you can get. Are you ready? Ready. one can you name this TV show by the clip cut it out full house you know is that it um uncle
Starting point is 00:37:21 uncle joey uncle joey is correct there you go there's one name this one i am the one who knocks what okay you want to hear it again i am the one who knocks i have no idea i am the one who knocks i'm the one who knock i'm the one that I don't know. I hear this could totally be wrong, but Brian Cranston from Breaking Bad. Is that your answer? Sounds like his voice, yeah. Wow.
Starting point is 00:37:54 I don't, okay. I don't know what that's from. Isn't I know I'm the one, what that means? Mike D, what's I am the one who, I've watched the whole show. I don't know that quote, though. It's when his wife is like,
Starting point is 00:38:06 I think she finds out, and then he's explained to no, he's the bad guy. I'm the one that knocks me, I'm the bad guy? All right. How about this one? This is the easy one.
Starting point is 00:38:13 could I be wearing any more clothes? All right, go ahead. Definitely Joey from Friends. Do you know that scene? Yes. He's got on all of Chainlor's clothes, like all of them. And he's like, and I'm not wearing underwear. All right, here we go.
Starting point is 00:38:28 Not that there's anything wrong with that. I mean, I have many gay friends. My father's gay. Seinfeld. That's right. Not there's anything wrong with that. I started watching the new season of comedians and Cars getting coffee.
Starting point is 00:38:39 Yeah. And Eddie Murphy is the first episode. And it's 40 minutes long. and usually these shows are 15 minutes, but they do a 40-minute episode with Eddie Murphy. It's pretty good. I love that show, but they just offered Eddie Murphy $70 million to do stand-up on Netflix.
Starting point is 00:38:52 What? Like a few specials. Wow. $70 million. Oh, my gosh. And he's a little bit before us, but he was humongous in the 80s. Let's do another one.
Starting point is 00:39:03 You won't get this one. Three words for you. Treat yourself. Treat yourself 2011. Maybe you can get it context clues. Okay, Big Bang Theory Aziz and Sari That's Parks and Rec
Starting point is 00:39:18 You ever watch that? No I was watching some of Brooklyn 9-9 on the flight That's a pretty funny show too You ever watch that? No All right, here's this one I wish there was a way to know
Starting point is 00:39:27 You're in the good old days Before you've actually left them The Wonder Years It's one of the final episodes of the office If not the final one Where Ed Helms is character Oh yeah And he's like man
Starting point is 00:39:41 It's super sad And they're playing music Creed's playing his guitar. It may be the final episode. Okay. What is like, yeah, I wish you could... I wish there was a way to know you're in the good old days before you've actually left them.
Starting point is 00:39:54 Isn't that true, though? Yeah, I know. I don't think you did very good, huh? I did too. Are you kidding me? That Breaking Bad one was clutch. You got full house. Okay.
Starting point is 00:40:03 Breaking... You get you a three out of five. Yeah, so I miss two, which are... That's a 60% though. Okay, I miss the two I've never seen. Parks and Rec, don't watch, and I'm not there yet on the office. Okay. Calm down. Where are you on the office?
Starting point is 00:40:17 Like season five. Okay. Six, maybe. You're getting there. I'm at the, Steve Carl's gone. Okay. Whatever season that is. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:40:23 I don't know. It just rolls. Netflix just keeps it rolling. And it's going to have kind of a downturn a little bit, but then it comes back. Pretty good. I watch it every night before I go to sleep. The best thing about Netflix to me is it goes, are you still watching and it shuts itself down. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:40:34 Because my old TV doesn't have a sleep timer. So a Netflix timer for me. And then I get asleep with the TV off because it just shuts down. I'm on a friend's kick right now. So office is taking a break because I'm just loving the front. friends. All right. New show.
Starting point is 00:40:45 I like that show. That's a new. Catching a two. Starting point is 00:44:21 You ask me. But Sam Adams just created a new beer called 26.2 brew. Is that the marathon number? Yes. And so they say that it's a great beer for after a workout. It has the alcohol level of a light beer, but it's made with Himalayan sea salt to help replenish. your electrolytes.
Starting point is 00:44:40 Listen, if there's healthy chocolate, there can be healthy beer. It's really just healthier. Yeah. This is a way for people to work out and be like, well, I can have a beer now because, I mean, my electrolytes need replenishing. That's where you get yourself in trouble because I'll do that with food. I'll crush it and be like, I deserve a snack. And then you just kind of wipe out all the work that you did. But again, if people choose that over another beer, if they're going to have beer and they choose the healthier option, that is healthier.
Starting point is 00:45:05 Yeah. So, yeah, I'm into it. What else? Okay, so if you're trying to, I don't know, hide what you're actually doing inside of a store because you don't want people to think you have any illegal activity going on. What do you mean? I don't know what you mean. Okay, so let's say you've got a storefront and you got illegal activity happening.
Starting point is 00:45:21 What kind of store front are you going to create? You're going to put a VHS store in 2019? So you're saying someone's like running, like money laundering, money or something. It's an illegal gambling ring. And they decided that their storefront is going to be a VHS store in 2020. in 2019. You know? I mean,
Starting point is 00:45:39 and all the people going in and out, the cops got to be like, they're still renting BHS. There's nothing suspicious about that at all whatsoever. So I LOLed when I saw this headline that that's what these people were using as an illegal front. But, I mean, yeah,
Starting point is 00:45:56 they've been running this whole ring out of there actually for a while. But the last time that they actually rented out a movie was 2007. It's been gambling ever since then. in 2007, I'd be like, what? It's time for the good news. With Bombie.
Starting point is 00:46:11 Tell me something good. I saw this one this morning. Rachel LaPierre won $1,000 a week. Lottery. Wow. Like every week, she went to $1,000. I'm jealous. Right?
Starting point is 00:46:25 And so she's not kept a single check for herself. She's giving it to charity every week. She says this humanitarian organization, which she funds with a lottery winnings, aims to promote good deeds. So every time she gets a check, she gives it. Wow. What?
Starting point is 00:46:39 You want a thousand bucks a win. She got that mailbox money. Go ahead, lunchbox. I mean, I don't understand. Why even play the lottery then if you're not going to enjoy the reward? Maybe it does bring her joy to give it away. What if the reward is actually helping other people? Right, but you've got to help yourself too.
Starting point is 00:46:54 You can retire on that money. What if she feels like she's in a good place? Yeah. She can be in a better place. Give one a month and take the other three for yourself. That's pretty nice. You know what? I'll pass that along to her.
Starting point is 00:47:05 But anyway. Rachel LaPierre, $1,000 a week, and she donates it to help other people. I think that's pretty fantastic, and that is a tell me something good right there. That was Tell Me Something Good. Folks, it's your buddy and my... Mr. Bobby Bowles.
Starting point is 00:47:29 Now time for the morning corny, but it's the investigative corny where lunchbox, Eddie and myself try to figure out the joke. And on the clock is... 90 seconds. Ooh! All right.
Starting point is 00:47:42 Do we get the last one, right? Yeah. Oh. We're on the straight, boys. One in a row. All right. Amy, are you ready? Ready.
Starting point is 00:47:48 Time now for the morning corny. A morning corny. What do you call a duck that gets all A's? Quack. Yeah, quack. It's got to be a quack. Wise quack. Wise quack.
Starting point is 00:48:03 Y's quack. A student. Like a web, web, a honor roll. What about the honor roll? Like webbed feet? You're going with a webbed feet? No, no. We're working out.
Starting point is 00:48:12 We're spit bar. Bill. Bill. Duck bill. Duck, Bill. Dut. Pallipus. Duckface.
Starting point is 00:48:19 It's got to be a quack. Yeah, a wise quack. A wise quacker? Oh, wise quacker. What do you call a duck that gets all A's? A wise quacker? Yeah, it's a wise quacker. Mike, where are we in time?
Starting point is 00:48:33 We have 30 seconds left. Yeah, we got time then. Let's just say things. First of all, I'd like to encourage people to listen to the Bobbycast. The newest episode is Dustin Lynch. You're so cocky. Anything you'd like to say? Yeah, the Sorl Losers show that Eddie Raimundo and myself do.
Starting point is 00:48:45 Listen to that and, you know, be good to your neighbors. Be good to your neighbors. We still have like 15 seconds. Is that anything you want to say? Yeah, if you're thinking about being a foster parent, I'm doing it right now, you guys look into it. It's a good thing. That's cool.
Starting point is 00:48:55 I like that too. And let me say sleep number. Fantastic matric. What are we all doing? We're killing times. Do you feel like you got it? Are you sure? No.
Starting point is 00:49:04 But that's our best answer. Wise quacker. He's a wise quacker. He's a wise quack. He's a wise quack. Quack, quack. Okay, here we go. The morning corny.
Starting point is 00:49:15 What do you call a duck that gets all A's? All right, ready to celebrate, boys. Come on. Why do you call it, Duck, it gets all A's. A. Wisecracker. Yay! Trying to trick.
Starting point is 00:49:27 Thank you very much. Morning Corny. Woo! Eduardo, take it away. Why are you being a hater on us, Amy? I'm not, what? Are you kidding? I was having a hater.
Starting point is 00:49:43 And we got a chance to promote things, right? Yeah. I know. How is I hating at all? If I'd have had to be 203 of me? I'd have been 23 of me. I was going to run into all my sponsors. I was going to LASIC.
Starting point is 00:49:50 Yeah, yeah. All right. Good job, good job. Thank you very much. Hey, good team. Good job, guys. What don't I start with this? So Eddie told me that you got a call yesterday from Lunchbox's daycare.
Starting point is 00:50:05 Is that true? Sure did. Who wants to go first? Lunchbox, you're ready? Oh, go ahead, Eddie. I mean, I don't know what his angle. There's no angle. His angle.
Starting point is 00:50:13 There's no angle. Well, yeah, I know what it is. Okay. There's no angle. Lunchbox, you go first. Okay. Well, my kid was at it. daycare and they called me
Starting point is 00:50:23 and the only reason they called me in the middle of the day is if he has a fever and I knew oh great that means they want me to come pick him up immediately I hadn't had a nap so I just ignored their call and I went home and took a nap and soon then they go down the list of
Starting point is 00:50:38 people they called my wife she was in a meeting couldn't get a hold of her called my mother-in-law and then I guess they called Eddie and there we go third in line emergency call they call me so wait You knew they were calling because your kid had a fever and you still didn't pick up? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:50:54 I assume that's why they were calling in the middle of the day is because he had a fever. And I said, man, if I can buy one hour, hour and a half, get my nap in, get some lunch, it'll make my day so much easier. So that's what I did. Amy, what do you think about this? Crazy to me a little bit. What's crazy about it? Eddie ended up having to get the call first. I mean, that or I would think if your kid was sick, you'd really want to get up there and get him out of there.
Starting point is 00:51:20 Right, that's what I'm saying. Like, now it's falling on Eddie, which is so bizarre. Eddie doesn't have to go get the kid. Well, I know, but if I were to get a call about my friend's kid, I'd be like, where's my friend wondering if something's wrong? Is everything okay? Like lunchbox must be in a car accident or in jail. Well, no, that's not what I thought.
Starting point is 00:51:39 What did you think? Immediately he was napping. And I told him that too, and I'm like, he's probably napping. He leaves work and goes straight to bed, pretty much. But at the same time, you worry too. you're like, you can't get a hold of his mom either? Like, I know he's a slacker, but his mom, like, she usually, I mean, she's got to pick up when the daycare calls. So I'm thinking, like, all right, well, I got to figure out how to get to the daycare and pick up this kid.
Starting point is 00:52:00 And then what do I do? Take him home until... Foster another kid? Until homeboy wakes up? I don't know, man. So what happened? They called and said what to you? They called and said that, hey, we've been trying to get a hold of this baby's dad.
Starting point is 00:52:17 There's no answer. We tried his mom. answer and so now we're at you and we're wondering if you can pick pick him up. We're like, ah, I don't know, let me call you back. So I called my wife and she's like, well, let me try to call, let me try to call, you know, lunchbox and his wife again and figured out. But then we figure, I guess my wife called the daycare back and then they said, no, we heard back from the dad. He's on his way to pick him up. Oh. Well, good for you. So with your first pick overall in the draft, what is the country love song you're going with? Forever and Ever Amen. That's a great pick. Randy Travis.
Starting point is 00:56:38 It's on my list. It's on my list. Forever and ever, amen. It's a great love song. Anyone with the gold? As long as old men. Sit and talk about the weather. As long as old women.
Starting point is 00:56:53 Sit and talk about old men. Okay. Salaf first pick. Thank you. You can't win a draft with the first round pick, but you can lose one with a bad one. So you did good. Oh.
Starting point is 00:57:03 All right. Lunchbox. Your first round pick of the country love song draft. I appreciate you. You're not taking the best song out there. And it's called It's Your Love by Tim McGraw. It's your love. So the first round pick
Starting point is 00:57:15 It just does something to me It seems a shock fright I can't get enough And there are three rounds By the way Eddie with a third pick In the first round Of the country love songs
Starting point is 00:57:29 Draft what do you go with? Guys, just left this sitting on the table Go with strawberry wine Dina Carter, come on That good one Thank you It's borderline first round though Really?
Starting point is 00:57:48 It's only like, I don't know Oh my goodness That's a good song though The first one that came to my mind. I know. It's hard to hate on any of these songs. They're all so good. Morgan number two, what's your first round pick? First one that came to my mind, amazed by Lone Star.
Starting point is 00:58:01 Dang, it's a good. Now, on my list, I did have Forever and Ever Amen from Andy Travis. If Amy, if you didn't take it, that was going to be up there. Yeah. So I got to pull that one off my list. But my first pick is still there that I had chosen. And I'm sitting here in the last spot of the first round. I still get my first pick, which is Garth Brooks if tomorrow never comes.
Starting point is 00:58:32 Oh, dang it. Yeah. Scratch it out, Lunchbox? Yeah. You knew I was going to go GARG, right? Yeah. It was just which one. And that's the end of the first round.
Starting point is 00:58:44 Hey, great pitch, everybody. We all had a great first round. Amy with Forever and Ever Amen, lunchbox, you get your love. Eddie, strawberry wine, Morgan number two, amazed. And I have, if tomorrow never comes, Garth Brooks. Now to the second round, we go backward. Since I was last in the first round,
Starting point is 00:58:59 I get to go first and the second round. That's the snake part, Amy. Yes, the snake part of it. With the first pitch. of the second round in the country love song draft. I'm going to go with Dolly Pardon, I will always love you. Come on. Good one.
Starting point is 00:59:16 Gold? How can you hate this song? Can't hate it. It could have been a first rounder. It fell to the second. It's the Aaron Rogers of country love songs. They can't believe it fell so long. Aaron Rogers.
Starting point is 00:59:30 All right. Morgan number two, your second pick at the second round. This is such a solid one. I swear by John Michael. Oh! I swear. She took it from me last. Yeah, he was next.
Starting point is 00:59:45 That's a good one. Number two. I'll be there. Eddie, you're sitting here in the second round. Scambling here. I had to change a couple of things. I'm going to go with Garth Brooks. Unanswered prayers.
Starting point is 01:00:00 Oh, that's a good. God. God. I was going to have that, God. Killing me. For unanswered prayers Remember when you're talking To the man upstairs
Starting point is 01:00:15 Sing it Amy And just because he doesn't answer Eddie's making Amy sing his song He don't care Everybody Some of God's greatest gifts Good pick Eddie Our unanswered prayers
Starting point is 01:00:32 All right lunchbox With the fourth pick of the second round Go ahead Man, guys, I don't know how I'm doing this. I'm going back to back with Tim McGraw. You left this out there and I'm going to take it. Don't take the girl. Oh, my goodness.
Starting point is 01:00:45 Good one. Take Tommy Thompson. Take my best friend bow. Two McGraw picks. He brings the love, I guess. Amy, the last pick of the second round. Yeah. What is your song here?
Starting point is 01:01:00 George Strait. Carrying your life. Oh, that's my next one. I'm carrying your love with me West Virginia down at Tennessee I'll be living with the good Lord speaks I'm carrying your love with me It's my street
Starting point is 01:01:18 I'm holding on We're down to the last round here We're at round three now This is a big one And so I wonder what you guys are going to texture them with You're going to texture them with something new Are you going to stay old Amy so far on your team
Starting point is 01:01:29 You have drafted Forever and Ever Amen Yeah. That's your quarterback. And carrying your love with me, George Strait. What is your final pick? And the snake drafts. You have to go first this time because you went last, last round.
Starting point is 01:01:42 Yeah. What is your first pick in the country love song, round three. Go ahead? Dirk's Bentley. Come a little closer. A little newer. All right. She loves Dirk.
Starting point is 01:01:50 All right. That's a love pick right there. There we go. Dirk's Bentley. Come a little closer, baby. The backup quarterback? Jam. That'd be like a wide receiver.
Starting point is 01:01:59 It's like your quarterback, you're running back, and your wide receiver. Okay. They're all star players. lunchbox Oh man Tim McGraw No no Tim is out of love songs
Starting point is 01:02:11 That I know of That I relate to Amy stole my next pick So I Man this is a tough one But I'll go He's looking at his list right now
Starting point is 01:02:21 He's got all his backup players I love it I don't know where to go And I'm going to go with George Strait And this one is called Check Yes or No Check Yes or No
Starting point is 01:02:31 Eddie, last pick of the draft. All right, so last pick, I have to go classic. And I was thinking of all the classic songs, great love songs. I'm going to go Willie Nelson. Always on my mind. Guys, we're going to the Super Bowl this year. Team Eddie's are excited about their team. Wow.
Starting point is 01:03:05 Morgan number two? I got to go with my girl. Shania Twain, you're still the one. Okay. Everyone's kind of picking now in this third round, something, like one of their artists now. Like, Amy's got a George Strait. Morgan number two's got Shania. Eddie's got Willie.
Starting point is 01:03:24 He's Texas guy. Lunchbox has got a lot of McGraths. And I got the final pick of the draft. This is big, Bonds. Don't crumble. I know. Listen, I'm going to, I was going to. I mean, you can take a flyer on someone, like someone that hadn't made it yet.
Starting point is 01:03:41 Maybe you think they're going to develop into something. Would you like to trade? Yeah, you can trade. I would like to trade for... I have an Eric church like Jesus does. I'm not going to pick it, but that was close. That made my list. Okay.
Starting point is 01:03:53 Because it's such a jam. It did. I think he's trying to get bonus points for people that were on his radar. I'm just kind of talking to it out. He doesn't make it. He's not going to be posted up on the page where people can vote for the best team. So that was one. And I have two options.
Starting point is 01:04:07 I have a really classic one and a really new-ish one. Ooh. And so far on my team, I have Garth Brooks if tomorrow never comes because Garth is my guy. solid. And I have Dolly, I will always love you. You know, in the NBA, they draft on upside. Like, they draft the young talent because of upside.
Starting point is 01:04:26 So, I mean, the newer one may be upside potential. You're trying to talk to me into a bad deal here. I can feel it. No, I don't know what it is. I'm intrigued on what the new one is. Well, I've got two choices here, two that I'm deciding between. And I think I'm not going to go with the older one.
Starting point is 01:04:39 I'm not going to go with Patsy Klein crazy. I was so close. That's so good. Yeah, but the Dolly and the Patsy. I felt like the me-maws would be rocking me. You need to switch it up. So I'm going to put a new one, put my guy in. I'm calling him in.
Starting point is 01:04:55 I'm calling him in the Rydie. He was a soccer star in high school. He played a little football as well. Who? Who? Yes. And you would know all this if you listen to the newest bobbycats with Thomas Rett. Thomas Rett, Die a Happy Man is now.
Starting point is 01:05:10 Yeah. All I got is your hand in my hand. Baby I could die. I feel pretty good about that pick. You'll make the playoffs. Yeah, you'll make the playoffs. Amy, read your team out loud. Go ahead.
Starting point is 01:05:36 Reverend Ever and every man, Randy Travis, George Drake, carrying your love with me, and Dirk's Bentley come a little closer. That's Amy's three-team draft. Yeah. Lunchbox, who's your quarterback? It's your love, Tim McGraw. Then we have, don't take the girls.
Starting point is 01:05:52 Tim McGraw and check yes or no by George Strait. Eddie? I have strawberry wine as my quarterback, Deena Carter, unanswered prayers as my running back. Garth Brooks and always on my mind as my wide receiver.
Starting point is 01:06:06 All right, Morgan number two, bring me a team. I've got amazed by Lone Star at quarterback. I've got I swear by John Michael Montgomery at running back. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And then you're still the one by Shania Twain
Starting point is 01:06:18 is my third round pick. And then my picks are based on my picks in the draft here. If tomorrow never comes, Garth Brooks, also have Dolly Parton, I will always love you, and die a happy man, Thomas Red. Solid, solid, solid. If I had to pick a team that's not my own,
Starting point is 01:06:32 you can't pick your own. I would pick Eddie's team. You like that one, does? I think that's, I do. I like your team a lot. But, well, let's the listeners decide. Maybe I'd pick yours. Thank you. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:06:41 Thanks, me too. It's a nice little love triangle there. I pick yours. But you're kind of missing a player. You got. Yeah, you'll like, well, no, Tim McGrath's playing two positions. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 01:06:52 But Faith Hill can line up. I mean, she's also in the song. Good point. Good point. Timmergo's like, Chant Bailey. He's playing both sides. Yeah, okay.
Starting point is 01:06:59 He's like Dion. I pick lunch. All right, there you go. Thank you. Can we make that a poll at bobbybones.com? We can put all of our teams for a vote. Oh, I'm already got 100% of the vote. It's not up yet.
Starting point is 01:07:09 Is it? No. Literally just picked them. Okay. All right. All right. All right. So, thank you all.
Starting point is 01:07:14 Hey, great draft. There we go. Good luck to everyone this year. No, good luck to have me only. Starting point is 01:10:45 It's time for the good news. With lunchbox. Stay home, it's something good. Peyton and Brian are six-year-old twin brothers. They were down in Orlando on vacation. They're at the hotel swimming pool when this mom and her little toddler come to the pool. Well, the mom goes to put the towels on the chair and the toddler jumps in the deep end not knowing how to swim. He's struggling to stay afloat.
Starting point is 01:11:09 The six-year-old twins jump into the pool and save the toddler. Wow. Six-year-old life girl. That's amazing. That's cool. What's the deal with the toddler was? Listen, I don't have a toddler. And Eddie says they shoot off like crazy.
Starting point is 01:11:23 They just run. Run. And they mined their own so they can do whatever they want. If you're at a pool, like, do you hear this and go, oh, mom, you got to like, no. Yeah. Or do you go, that's just the nature of the toddler? I mean, you have to keep your eyes on your toddler at all times. And especially by a pool, yeah, she shouldn't have turned around on them.
Starting point is 01:11:39 What about leashes on kids? No, I'm serious. I know you go, eh. But when I hear stories like this, I go, okay, so what? I go, okay, so what? So what's wrong with the leash? No, eyes are as good as the leashes. Like, just keep your eyes on them and they won't go anywhere.
Starting point is 01:11:51 Like, a leash is too much. They're not a dog. I don't know. Too much. Sometimes I want to leash you guys. Sometimes at the airport, I get it. Like, I don't have to leash my kids, but I see other kids on leashes. And I'm like, you know, maybe they know that they have one that will go rogue every now and then.
Starting point is 01:12:09 And they just, it's better safe than sorry. I was a big hater on leeches for a while. Yeah. I Instagramed a kid on a leash with a mom. Oh, that's right. I didn't put the kid's face on Instagram, but I was like, look at this. This mom's got her kid on a leash. Mom follows me on Instagram.
Starting point is 01:12:20 Had a little word with me. Oh, what did she say? Don't be doing that. Don't be putting my leased kid on Instagram. Kind of awkward conversation there. I was like, I was like, well, huh? Didn't do that again. No, I did not do that again.
Starting point is 01:12:33 But I'm, I don't, I'm not four leashes, but I could see in situations like this where there are dangerous things around, that maybe you leash them around pools and fires. I don't know about. Okay. I'll think about it. Okay, there it is. That was Tell Me Something Good. So this picture of this guy, his dip can, and he put his engagement ring to his girl in the dip can.
Starting point is 01:12:55 Ew. And it was like, hey, open my dip can. And she does, and the rings in there. And that's how he proposed. What do you think about that? I mean, at least it was fresh dip and not, like, used, but still, it's so stinky and gross. Like, I'm not into it. Emma in Kansas.
Starting point is 01:13:12 Give me your bad proposal story. He proposed to me while I was in a shower. What do you mean? I was washing my hair. He walks into the bathroom, sticks the ring in the shop, like through the shower curtain and says, will you marry me? Oh. It's pretty cute.
Starting point is 01:13:27 No, it's not. Why? Because you wait for that moment to be proposed to. And then you're just taking a shower in everyday activity. Okay, you're right. And there's a curtain. He's not even looking at you. I said no.
Starting point is 01:13:39 I thought he was joking. Yeah, I would have thought he was joking too. Because, again, that's like you're, you know, putting gas in the car. An everyday activity as it proposes. Okay, you're right. Because it's supposed to be a special moment. That's all.
Starting point is 01:13:51 You're not romantic at all. You're right. And I don't say that as a slap to Amy. But Amy's not romantic at all. I know. Case in point. She's like, oh, that's, I would cry. She's like, well, I get clean myself and also get reposed to.
Starting point is 01:14:04 Wow, what are the day. It's beautiful. Emma, thank you. Wait, did you say yes ever? Yeah. Emma. Oh. Shoot, I need to know.
Starting point is 01:14:14 I know. Michelle in New York. York, you're on. Hi. My story is that my boyfriend and I went to purchase the new car. Well, I was purchasing the new car. And as we were driving at home, he turned to me and said, do you know that your car insurance would be cheaper if we were married? And it kind of went from there. No ring or anything. Wait, so, he was being totally practical. And he said, do you know because you have this new car that insurance would be cheap? if we got married, let's get married. And he did that with no ring. Yes. And what did you say?
Starting point is 01:14:54 I said, let's do it. And then? We've been married almost 12 years. Do you hold that against him, that he didn't put anything behind it? A little bit. I kind of like playing around, I'll joke with him and be like, well, I didn't even get a good proposal. He did kind of rob you of a moment. Okay, but hold on.
Starting point is 01:15:14 I have a question. Was he just in the moment and he kind of thought of that and went with it? it or that was his plan? That's a good question. He may have been planning to ask me and I think he just kind of got caught up in the moment and went with it.
Starting point is 01:15:30 So no, he never, when did he finally present you with a ring ever? On my birthday. Well, I feel like he should have still come through with the proposal. You should have said yes, but I want you to propose to me. Like, for real. Yeah, I'm holding out to be proposed to you guys. Oh, yeah. Whenever it
Starting point is 01:15:46 happens, I want to say no, I want the proposal to me to be Awesome. Not in the shower. Yeah, to me. Not me and her. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Chelsea and North Carolina. Hi, go ahead.
Starting point is 01:15:55 Hi. So it wasn't me, but it was my cousin. She was at a country music festival with her boyfriend. And they were getting food, and he handed her a hot dog, and it had the ring on the hot dog. How big her fingers? She was surprised. I don't think that was what she had in much. Was it a really?
Starting point is 01:16:20 skinny hot dog? I don't know. That's really funny. Unless you tick the ring and you like crush the hot dog inside of it. Wow. Thanks for that call. It's creative though. It's creative. It's like he's just like over something round. I've never seen a wedding ring on a hot dog before. What about her wedding?
Starting point is 01:16:37 And a skull can though. Never seen that either? No. Or Copenhagen, you know? So Carrie Underwood says if you wrap this song and you send it to her, every city she goes to on her tour, she's going to pull someone out to rap with her. Which, by the way, can you imagine how nervous you would be? It would be nerve-wracking.
Starting point is 01:16:56 Yeah, I can't even imagine. And Amy, you're in your comfortable space right now. Right, but I got to say, I've never seen these lyrics before, but. Yeah, but how often would you see the ludicrous lyrics? Yeah, not, clearly not often. Okay, are you ready? You've had time to practice. We just played it through it for like 30 seconds during the commercial break.
Starting point is 01:17:18 Here we go. You have to make sure I know when to come in. I mean, I don't only know when to come. What? Here we go. There's Champion. Yeah. With Kerry.
Starting point is 01:17:26 Born champion. The ludicrous part. Luda. Amy said this is her style. You ready? Should I start you? Yeah. Born champion.
Starting point is 01:17:35 Luda. The sea is for the courage I possess through the. You're not even watching. You're looking at me. Come in and then I'm trying to give you cues. Okay. And you're not luda. So say, Amy.
Starting point is 01:17:44 Oh, yeah. You can say whatever. You can say whatever. No, I'm luda. Amy's going to wrap the ludicrous part. Forget the born champion part. I don't know. Just do whatever you want.
Starting point is 01:17:53 But here you get. You ready? On the breakdown on the guitar drops out. I'm nervous. Here we go. And the C is for the courage. I possess the drama. Age is for the hurt, but it's all for the honor.
Starting point is 01:18:04 A is for my attitude. Working through the patience. Money comes and goes. So the M is for motivation. Gotta stay consistent. The P is to persevere. The I is for integrity, innovative career. The O is optimistic.
Starting point is 01:18:17 Open and never shut. And the N is necessary because I'm, never given up. They see and ask me how I did it. I just did it from the heart. I cannot feel that. Oh, yeah, I did. She kind of fell behind the beat in a little bit. I wasn't going fast enough? No, you're trying. Again, it's new to you. Yeah, totally. Starting point is 01:21:13 and I don't know what to do, because our fireplaces don't work. They're sealed off. So, like, I can't access them. They're supposed to be capped off at the top, but, I mean, birds, I guess, can make their way in, but you can tell in the brick.
Starting point is 01:21:27 There's, like, this opening in the brick. Like, you can hear the noise coming, like the bird is like more than halfway down my chimney. So here's some audio Amy took with her phone of the birds in her chimney. Go ahead. They're upset. So like you, that's not, it sounds like I'm maybe outside with nature, but you can hear my TV. Like I'm just at home and that's what it sounds like.
Starting point is 01:21:53 You don't want to mute that TV to get that good audio? I just was just like, oh, he's chirping. I'm going to grab audio. Left night cord on real quick. That's Chernobyl. actually. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. But it's like,
Starting point is 01:22:04 Stevenson's really concerned about the birds, so am I. So I'm like, should we call like a chimney, chim chim-chimony person? Oh, Dick Man Dyke. It's a guy. Oh, chiminy.
Starting point is 01:22:14 Wild life, because I feel that like I want the chirping to stop, but then, oh, I kind of don't want it to stop because that means maybe it died. Oh, you want it to stop on your own terms. Yeah. Yeah. I want it to stop because it's annoying,
Starting point is 01:22:28 but then I feel like I'm going to be, We're going to have to have a moment of silence if we hear it stop because I don't know if he got free or if he died. Just tell the guys he got free. No, I mean, I don't want him to die either. It's sad. Like somehow a bird is in there and is like, help, I'm hungry, or I don't know how to get out, or I'm scared because it's dark in here.
Starting point is 01:22:47 It sounds like that circus music that goes, dun-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-oh-Bee-weeweeh. Played again, Remed a minute, this is the birds. Well, poor guy.
