Starting point is 00:02:14 It's time for the good news. Tell me something good. Around the room. Go ahead. A big weekend at my house. My daughter's turning 19. Wow. My son is going to his first dance.
Starting point is 00:02:34 Wow. And he has sub-regionals and track. Sub-regionals would be like district? I'm just making it. in the comparison, because what we'd have is we'd have district, not track baseball, for example. We play district tournament if you win that, then you go to regionals. If you win that, then you go to state.
Starting point is 00:02:51 Yeah, must be district. Yeah. Different name, probably. Because it's at a school in our district. Okay. So maybe it's all this school. Does he feel pretty good about it? Like, does he think he can go and come out,
Starting point is 00:03:02 come out and go to the next round, if there is the next round? Yeah, I think he thinks he'll go to the next round. I mean, I think he'll go to the next round. Only problem is next round is when we're at IHeart country. So I won't go. I'll have to miss it. But he'll race, right? Oh, yeah, for sure.
Starting point is 00:03:19 He'll go. Yeah. What you just not? I mean, No. Isn't that thing, like family over everything? I don't know. I'm just.
Starting point is 00:03:27 Yeah. It'll be okay. I'll go to the next one. There might be, it's not state. Like, state I would consider. I can tell you right now, if Billy was running sub-regionals this weekend. You'd go.
Starting point is 00:03:40 Or next week, yeah, I'll be there. I'll be like, that's crazy. That's a friggin' newborn. I guess infant now, but yeah. Yeah, that would be crazy. Yeah, the infant relays. Yeah, I mean, this is just one of those things where it worked out that way, but it's okay.
Starting point is 00:03:54 He'll still have people there to support him. It's not like no one will be there. It's also not this week. You'll be there this weekend. And then he also has to win to get there. So we're a little counting our chicken before they're hatched. Yeah. Does he have to win?
Starting point is 00:04:06 And I've already locked in also some client things at I heart country. so I feel like it's a responsibility. I agree. Yeah. I just had heard family over everything. I know, but then you also have to weigh exactly what it is. Well, good luck to him. Yeah, I know.
Starting point is 00:04:23 Good luck at the dance, first dance. How's he doing with that? Good. There was a girl he wanted to ask, but she's already going with somebody else. And he handled that well. He's like, I get it. He's good looking. No, he said to quote.
Starting point is 00:04:37 Did he ask the girl or did he just not ask her? knew he wanted to and then he already knew she was going with somebody else. And then he was just sitting there casually eating dinner at the internet telling you about it. And the exact word he used was actually handsome. And he was like, I mean, I get it. He's handsome. So I was like, hey, you know what?
Starting point is 00:04:52 Good attitude. You're like, she's going. I said, maybe you'll have an opportunity to dance with her. I don't know. I wouldn't put that in his head. If she's going with another dude, I wouldn't even float that. Or you can just dance with your friends and have a good time. So no girl with him.
Starting point is 00:05:08 No. But thankfully, the dance is over at eight because he's going to get home and hydrate and get ready for bed for the race the next day. Better at that age anyway. Unless you have like a girlfriend, you don't really want to go with a girl anyway. If it's like someone you're just forcing. Right. If you're like 11 or 12th grade, it's different.
Starting point is 00:05:24 Yeah. Like prom, you don't want to go by yourself. You still want to have a, even if it's a good friend, because there's all of the pageantry of all of the couple things. The pictures, the, you know, first dance. His age, screw it. Yeah. What I've seen is these guys, they show up to the dancing, they just spread, they just split up. Girls on one side, guys on the other.
Starting point is 00:05:44 And they just hang out. 19, huh? 19. Yeah. It's big. I mean, yeah, it is, I don't know. I can't even believe it. Where is the time going?
Starting point is 00:05:57 That's how I feel sometimes. I used to hate when people would say that. People would be like, oh, you blink, you know, and time just goes like, dude, it's so true. I know. Before you know it, Billy's going to be 19. People will say, and I've heard it from a lot of people, man, it flies by. It feels like every day is long, but the years go by. My personal thought is it does not fly by, but once it's over, you look back and it's all gone
Starting point is 00:06:20 and there's no way to get back to that point so it feels like it flew by. That's what it is. But like this week in general, flu. This week was pretty fast. I can't believe it's already Friday. Yeah. You know, for me. Maybe you just turn 45 and you start saying stuff like this.
Starting point is 00:06:35 Yeah. Yeah. there's also the theory that when you're young time goes by slower because each day's a larger part of the 100% portion of your life. Meaning if you are one day old, the next full day is 50% of your life. So it goes by slower because it's 50% of your life. Where if you're 35 to 40 years old, a day is only a fraction of all that you've spent. So that fraction is able to be traveled through so much quicker. Okay.
Starting point is 00:07:03 I can get behind that. Here we are. That's too much for me. That's heavy, dude. Whatever you just said. I didn't present it to be heavy. It's not my theory. I've heard people talk about that before,
Starting point is 00:07:16 where when you're a kid, it feels like time goes by so slow because each new day is such a larger percentage of your life. You've only been through so much time. I think I know what will help Eddie. Just as a fellow number. I don't even know if I explained it right. But I think I know how what helps me, Eddie,
Starting point is 00:07:35 and Eddie and I kind of have the same brain, is think of it like a pizza. If you're a pizza, when you're younger, you've got your slice, like say each slice is a, you know, every five years is a slice or something. So you've got all this pizza left around you if you take. And then the more years that go by. No, I'm lost on this version. It's what's funny. I keep thinking of pizza.
Starting point is 00:07:57 You two are going. I'm going. I'm going to let you go. I'm lost. So like, imagine the whole box in the big pizza. You take away one slice, but it still looks like a lot of pizza. So there's like a lot there. Like it's like, okay.
Starting point is 00:08:08 Well, what does that have to do with slower? Well, because I think you, because you have more time available, more life ahead of you. That's the bigger fraction Bobby's talking about. Well, for me, this helped maybe it's not going to. But then as time goes, then you've got half the pizza, and then all that you see around you is just half a pizza left, and you're like, what?
Starting point is 00:08:27 Oh, okay. And there's less of a fraction. Is this how you guys feel sometimes when I talk about stuff? Yeah. Like about a quarter of the way through, you're like, I'm not even going to try to keep up, so just check out. I got it now. That's great. I'm not saying you're wrong. I'm just saying, I'm not even sure if what you were saying ran parallel to what I was saying.
Starting point is 00:08:44 Oh, I feel like it helped me. That's how when you were saying it, I was picturing pizza. Well, that's pretty exciting. It's a lot of life stuff happening. This week, I felt normal to me. I just look forward to Fridays because Fridays are data days. Data? Yeah. Like data as a baby Billy's data or data? Not data. That's what I thought. D-A-T-A. That's when Mike gets me with all the data from all the streams, all the weekly, all the everything podcast. And you look forward to that? Very much so. And then I put it into AI and I break it down and I do. And then I love end of the month too because end of the month I do best episodes, which part, all that.
Starting point is 00:09:26 Datta day. Really forward to that a day. Does it ever ruin your weekend? No, it doesn't ruin the weekend. But at times there are negative surprises. But for all, for the show, for Bobbycast, for anything, they're also positive surprises. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:42 But I look forward to Dad a Day. That's Friday. So there you go. Data Day. Okay. Tell me something good, Eddie. Yeah, yesterday was kind of a cool day. So, like, I got home and my son was done with his work early.
Starting point is 00:09:54 So he's like, you want to watch a movie? And I said, oh, my gosh, I've been seen that fried green tomatoes is about to leave Prime Video. Like, do you want to watch Fried Green Tomatoes? Because I love that movie. He's like, sure. We sat and watched fried green tomatoes And he was like, Dad, that was a really good movie
Starting point is 00:10:10 I've never seen it I just think is it like Golden Girls but a movie? Yeah, it's definitely like a chick flick I guess but it's really good And it's... I put in like the Steel Magnolias category Totally same kind of vibe I think I thought it was that movie
Starting point is 00:10:23 No, it's different It's different But same vibe It's about like you know Two girls, their friendship And their loyalty to each other as friends It's kind of like that But there's so much that goes around that
Starting point is 00:10:34 that I feel like dudes would like that movie too. Really? I think dudes just see kind of fragment tomatoes. I'm not going to watch that. But it's so good and my son loved it. So that was cool. And then the Cowboys drafted two players last night and that was kind of cool.
Starting point is 00:10:46 I was excited about that. Like good players? Good players. I mean, you never know, but it seemed like good draft. I think they had a really good draft last night. I said, hey, Eddie, the Cowboys had a really great draft. Caleb Downs is awesome. The safety at Ohio State.
Starting point is 00:10:59 And they drafted this edge from UCF. And I don't watch a lot of UCF football games. However, a lot of the guys were really high on this kid leading into it. Like he's going to be the one. And they drafted him. It's really cool. And Eddie's like, yeah, I haven't really heard of him. But I think it's good.
Starting point is 00:11:15 Because they show highlights after they draft. And I'm like, okay, the highlights are good. Yeah, I feel like most people think the Cowboys had a good draft last night. And that usually doesn't happen. The Titans, look, like, as Eddie said, you never really know. It's hard to evaluate a draft until probably three or four years right before their rookie contracts are up. and you start to see if they're going to add that fifth year to that rookie contract.
Starting point is 00:11:36 But I don't know what the heck Titans were thinking. They drafted a receiver last night. They need like 17 other positions. But there you go. I don't know anything. So they don't even need a receiver? No, no. You can always use a player that's better than your other players.
Starting point is 00:11:49 And they do. And what do they do with the other receivers? You're asking a different question than what I'm talking about. Go ahead. What is your question? Can you explain it like pizza? Okay. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:12:02 They have enough receivers. Right. So like why draft another one? Because this guy, they felt was really good. So then can they move a receiver over to another position? No, they'll just cut or... So some of those receivers are like great. A lot of a job? Yeah, but it's probably the receivers already
Starting point is 00:12:20 that were wondering if they had a job. Okay. But I was surprised that they drafted that high and drafted the specific receiver. He wasn't even number one on some people's receiving boards. But regardless, you don't know anything. I don't know anything. Even the experts don't know anything.
Starting point is 00:12:32 But there's still a couple more days left of the draft, right? Yes. Yeah. Last night was just round one. My wife was surprised. And shout out to my wife because she sat and watched the whole draft with me. She mostly took care of the baby. She let me watch the draft, but we stayed in the room with me.
Starting point is 00:12:45 And she's like, there are that many people at a draft. It was in Pittsburgh last night. It looked like there are 100,000 people there. It really did. I don't know if that's the case. Probably they kept saying hundreds of thousands. Like what are the, they're on a stage or something? The draft is on a stage.
Starting point is 00:12:59 They build it right outside in the city. So the draft is outside. In Nashville we had it. It was massive. Okay. Now I know. I remember that. And it was down Broadway.
Starting point is 00:13:08 Okay. So that's what that was. They had that. Got it. There were so many people there. Yeah. I got offered to go and do a draft pick today. What does that mean?
Starting point is 00:13:17 And you said no? Wait. It wasn't that I said no. It was that I couldn't. Dang. That's so cool. It's Data Day. Yeah, I don't do anything on Data Day.
Starting point is 00:13:26 Matt Castle and I do a show for the NFL. And they were like, do you guys want to come and do a day to, draft pick. You can go up on stage and do a draft pick for a team. And I'm featuring you'll go up and like you pick a thing, I think, I have the bowl. No. That's how they do like the anger games. That's how they do. And like, and you swirl in and pull it out. Like a random player that's in there. So what would you do? I told my wife I wasn't going to go anywhere until May. Like I was not going to leave and travel at all when we had the baby. I, I'm not going to say deal because she didn't ask for a deal,
Starting point is 00:14:02 but I said, hey, just rest. I'm not going anywhere. The first time I'll go anywhere will be I heart country. Which is May. Which is, yeah, maybe even the 31st, but so. There's only 30 days in April. There is. Did you do knuckles?
Starting point is 00:14:17 I was just from the dome. It is. Good for you. After so many years. There's 12 pieces of pizza in the calendar. Wait, hold on. So we got invited to go do a draft pick. I couldn't do it.
Starting point is 00:14:28 you know what if I had said to her I'd like to go do this I think she'd have been like great go for it but I just felt like I already said this I want to stick to it so it was a really cool offer and Amy the draft pick the team picks the player
Starting point is 00:14:40 and then they give Bobby and Matt the whatever they picked and they go up and announce it that's how that would work like it'd be like a third or fourth round pick and we'd go and be like with the 167th pick the Titans pick the Hamburgler then he walks up
Starting point is 00:14:55 yeah Rebel Rebel Yeah, Rob, Rob, Rob, Rob, Rob, Rob. Does anybody ever say, like, like, okay, let's say the hamburger is, the Titans are like, we pick you. Does the hamburger ever come up and be like, no, thank you? No, they will, they'll say that they didn't want. I was hoping that somebody else was going to pick me. Well, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:15:21 Man, you kind of, you're funny today. You get a funny ribbon today. Okay. Well, I don't know. I'm just like curious. Because if like, no, you can't do that.
Starting point is 00:15:29 But there are players that have said pre, I don't want to be drafted by this team, and they didn't, or they got drafted by the team and then traded quickly. Eli Manning,
Starting point is 00:15:37 the Chargers, and he was like, I don't play for the Chargers. So then like, it's like white elephant? He didn't go up to the podium and be like, no, thank you.
Starting point is 00:15:46 But they like swap him? Yes. John Elway, that happened to, way back in the day. Got it. They will boo. They will boo.
Starting point is 00:15:56 They will boo if they don't like the pick. Who boo? The fans. Okay, okay, the fan, okay, not the person. Yeah, not the player. There was a player last night who, the chiefs ended up trading up to number six. And I think they were at nine.
Starting point is 00:16:10 I'm just going from memory here. I think there were nine. They traded up to six. But there was this one guy and he was like, crap, I was really wanted to go to the chiefs. Since they traded up to six, they're not going to pick me and they still picked him. Dang.
Starting point is 00:16:22 He thought since they moved up, there was no way he was going to be picked him. He was a defensive back. But anyway, there you go. All right. That's yours. That was me. Fried Green Tomatoes, yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:34 And draft. I'll put draft in mine then too. Wife was super chill. Baby was super chill last night, so we sat and watched it. They would do these images of like a player above the fans. And it looks like, because it's all on screen, but it looks like the player is like 50 feet tall. And so they would do this, you know, CG player above everybody,
Starting point is 00:16:53 you familiar with it? Oh, yeah. My wife's like, they should do it in real life. The fans would love that. Put the player up there? a massive 50-foot, you know, player hologram. So we did that. I ran two miles yesterday on my ankle.
Starting point is 00:17:09 And it was a little sore last night, but today it's pretty good. I'm starting to feel like I'm getting back into it. I've not played any pickleball yet, but I'm starting to feel like I'm getting back into it. So that was my real one. I ran two miles. And then my wife has started walking around the yard with,
Starting point is 00:17:25 we have one of those baby satchels belt. put on your front. And I've done it, but the baby was a little too small. And so now she's found out that the baby loves it. The baby's grown a little bit. And so I know you saw her this morning in the backyard wearing it, wearing it, wearing the thing. And so the baby goes asleep, man. You put the baby in that thing.
Starting point is 00:17:43 You start walking around. Yeah, it looks so cute in there too. She's a bunch of hair coming out of the bag. Yeah, she had texted me. Caitlin texted me. She's like, we should go on a walk with our weighted vests. And I was like, well, your weighted vest is way cuter than mine. Because mine's like, the ugly one from Amazon and hers is a cute little baby.
Starting point is 00:18:02 So I could, then it made me think, well, you know. You should have a baby. Oh. Yes, that. But if that's not likely, but we have been looking at those baby dolls. No, don't buy one of those real baby dolls. What? I do.
Starting point is 00:18:17 It is, I don't like walking around with my weighted vest. And I'm like, there is something super cute about Caitlin with that carrier and the baby. So if I just get a 10-pound fake baby, then I can walk around the, neighborhood. That's weirder. Yeah, but people won't know. Amy, that would be so creepy.
Starting point is 00:18:30 That'd be so, yeah. Yeah, but I'm like, people would be like, oh, look at her and walking with her with that weighted vests. No, until you guys.
Starting point is 00:18:38 Nobody cares. Nobody even look at you in your weighted vests. And then you're going to get stopped and be like, Amy, and they're like, oh my gosh,
Starting point is 00:18:43 that's a, you have a baby, Amy? And they're going to be like, oh, no, it's fake. She just picks it bites her, no, it's fake. No, those babies on
Starting point is 00:18:50 Instagram, where they make these fake babies, they look so real. I forget what they're called. They're called like... No, I know you sent me a Instagram, a story of it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:00 It was like the only one that wasn't AI ever. Yeah, no, they're real. It's these people that raise these dolls and they're so lifelike. It's really crazy. It's like, you ever,
Starting point is 00:19:13 that documentary, I think a lot of you watched it on the monkeys, the woman who raised the monkey as her kid? Yeah, that was from a long time ago. HBO, Max had that. Chimp.
Starting point is 00:19:20 Chimp. Freaking crazy. And the chipping and up like ripping the face off of somebody. That's the same story, right? Or maybe it's a different one. There was that one that ripped it off the neighbor. Yeah. Isn't that not her? Am I getting my chimp story? My crazy chimp lady's mixed up? That chimp crazy documentary was wild though. You're watching documentaries lately? I watched jailblazers. I watched whatever one I talked about
Starting point is 00:19:47 recently. The prophet truth trick teller. We thought about that. And then I feel like I watched another one too and now I can't think of it. I started though when Mike watched one with a guy that stole the plane. Sky King. Sike. Sky King. Man, I don't feel like I'm in a place for that. That makes me so emotional just to watch the YouTube video.
Starting point is 00:20:05 Where I am, because I just started it. Where I'm at, so far it's kind of like, this is crazy. But nothing sad yet. Sky King. On Hulu. Remember, on HBO, the Hollywood Demons. If you guys are bored, if you guys are bored, take a walk down that. Gosh.
Starting point is 00:20:22 I'm telling you, man, I made that mistake. Take a walk down. on that show. at iHeartRadio.ca. In the moment, it felt like it was going on forever. I didn't think I was going to live. I was terrified. There was no anything inside those eyes.
Starting point is 00:21:10 They turned black. It scared the hell out of me. That was your first murder case? Yes, sir. Fair to say this was the biggest case of your career? Yes, sir. Rape and murder for a child. She's as bad as it gets.
Starting point is 00:21:24 I would think so. People wake up. I'm the one that saw the murder take place by Creveith and DePippo. Anthony DePippo showed no signs of remorse, appearing unfazed after being sentenced to the maximum. I said, I'm not guilty. I'll take it to the grief. Oh, yeah, I go to physical therapy, you know, twice a week and I went yesterday and one of the ladies that I've been doing physical therapy with. She's pregnant.
Starting point is 00:23:40 You know, we're getting our pelvic floors worked on. And yesterday was her last physical therapy appointment because she's going to go have her baby. So that's pretty cool. I mean, she's been in pain. And she's like, I'm just ready for this baby to get out. And so I feel like I grew up with this kid. You know, I watched the baby kind of come along in her stomach.
Starting point is 00:23:58 And now she's going to have the baby. So I was pretty excited for her. So who's going to work with you now? No, no, no. No, that's a partner. That's like a person on the ground next time. Yeah, she was a patient. Like she laid on the table next to me.
Starting point is 00:24:10 Okay. So it seems like a, I thought they like did exercises together. No, no, no, no. Like the, you have separate exercises. What do you call them? The physical therapist tells her to do something, tells me to do something. But we were side by side a lot of, for like a month, it feels like maybe a month and a half. And so.
Starting point is 00:24:27 Really grew together. Yeah, we really grew together. And so it's just like to see her progress and then be like, well, today's my last day before the baby. And we all said good luck. and, you know, she walked out of there and she's going to go have a baby. I never really thought much about sending baby gifts or anything to do with babies
Starting point is 00:24:42 because I never had a baby until recently. But now I've had it on my mind when I see someone that I know has a baby like I should send them something. I haven't done it yet, but I've thought about it. Well, yeah, because people did that for you. Yeah, it's crazy. The people even think about that.
Starting point is 00:24:54 It's like, every time I have a birthday, I'm like, I'm going to be a birthday person. I'm going to like make sure. And then I don't know, a few weeks after that, I kind of forget. But you're going to be a birthday part. You like gifts. No, no, no, no, no. But only to like my super close circle. Oh, you just mean you were going to be birthday guy to everybody. Although I'll say this. No, no, no. We've been friends with you for 20 years. You can't. I don't remember. I mean, you'll still get us a gift, but you don't remember. The day. Until it comes. It's been different, though, with you the past few years. Why? Because you and my wife are such close friends. Oh, yeah, so she reminds you. Not even that. It's like, I don't feel the pressure to, like, perform in that area with you because I know my wife probably will know a better gift or, or, you.
Starting point is 00:25:35 I don't know. It's just different because it's like, it's like, the gift comes. Our 100% is like partial each now. Yeah. Now I get it. I mean, that makes sense. We're like Eddie, I get him a gift myself. With Caitlin, I just kind of trust her to do that. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:52 It's weird. It's life. I guess. Things evolve. I guess. Growing up. Yeah. Pizza.
Starting point is 00:26:02 Morgan. So. So this week, my dog Remy turned 11 years old, and I'm really excited because we're going to celebrate her birthday all weekend. It's kind of something we do every year. I just take the weekend and I do all dog-friendly activities. We go to bar patios or we'll go to drive-ins or we'll go to a dog store and get her a bunch of treats. It's kind of like a little birthday weekend for her. 11's good.
Starting point is 00:26:28 Small dogs live a long time, though. That's cool. What's a drive-in? Like a drive-in movie? Yeah. Yeah. Last year we took her to the drive-in and she hung out with us the whole time. Do you think a dog likes that?
Starting point is 00:26:38 She had just to be out of the house. Yeah. I think a dog, anytime a dog isn't just stuck at the house by themselves. I think they like going for rides. Like, I don't know that the dog knows it's at a drive-in movie. But it's just sitting in a car. Yeah, but it's with its owners instead of at home. Yeah. Yeah, and we, like, we were in the back of the trucks.
Starting point is 00:26:56 We were out in the open air and kind of hanging out. But also, she loves a patio, mostly because she gets some human food. but also because she just likes hanging out with other people and like greeting other people. So I just take her everywhere with me. Like I won't make plans unless I can do something with her for this weekend. This is kind of set aside for her. Where's the drive-in? It's about 40 minutes outside of town, 40, 45 minutes, at least from where I live.
Starting point is 00:27:22 What town? Let me pull it up. I don't. It didn't matter that much. Oh, well, I wouldn't go. I think it would be awesome. I don't want to sit in my car and watch a movie. I don't want to watch a movie in my house. I don't want to sit in the tailgate.
Starting point is 00:27:33 Be in the open. Open sky, make a little palette. Not a big fan of open sky, especially during allergy season. Oh, okay. It's in Watertown, Tennessee. It's called Star Dust. I've never heard of that town. Watertown.
Starting point is 00:27:42 Star Dust, what a cute name. What kind of movies they show on that thing? Sounds like a movie. So you can see like three, whatever is in theaters this weekend, they'll show, but you get three of them. And you can stay for one. You can save for all three. It's kind of up to you.
Starting point is 00:27:56 Do you ever look around in their cars going, that's what it reminds me of like in the 60s or 70s? Yeah, people like humping in a van or something. it. There's definitely some things going on and people drinking and you're not supposed to, but yeah, people do it anyway. Does the sound come through that little speaker on the side or does it come through, put your radios on a signal? Yeah, you can do both. So there is a speaker like in between all the cars that plays it, but then you can also turn your radio on your car to it. Oh, today, it just started airing Michael, the King of Pop. Mm-hmm. That comes out today?
Starting point is 00:28:30 Yeah. Which I saw some people. You were going to go? I saw some people were upset. It didn't talk about... Yeah, the allegations. Yeah, but... It only goes up to like 1984, I think. So it's not his whole life. Okay.
Starting point is 00:28:48 Allegedly going to make two movies. Oh, so part two will cover that? It was supposed to be like a four-hour movie and they cut it down to two hours. But I guess they'll see how this one does. Okay. Well, then I don't know why people would be upset if it's the timeline. You don't know if people will be upset at anything? Oh, yeah, I guess I do.
Starting point is 00:29:05 Like, why even get upset at that? I don't know. Just that I didn't make this movie. Like, if I was producing that movie, I probably wouldn't put it in there. People just want engagement. That's what I'm thinking. They just get upset online for engagement. It's not even about they're really upset.
Starting point is 00:29:17 People just get upset and full of rage, anger, sadness, because they want engagement with their posts, tweets. Like clicks. Nobody's even upset in the real world. Right. For the most part, look around. Everybody's doing pretty good. Look online.
Starting point is 00:29:30 That ain't the case. because people need the attention, need the clicks. Okay. A question for Morgan real quick. Morgan, how do they charge? They charge like carload or like individual people in the car? No, it was carload. Cool.
Starting point is 00:29:44 Yeah. So you think I'm taking the whole kids cheaper? Good deal. You could. Yeah. That would be such a fun outing. I know. Back seat.
Starting point is 00:29:51 How do you watch them move from the back seat? Can't you just see like you're looking out the front of the car? I will say people bring a lounger chairs and stuff too and they'll put them outside of their car. So it just depends how you want to do for six people. That'd be amazing. Yep. But do you get allergies bad? I do.
Starting point is 00:30:07 Do you not worry about that? Been out in the field? I mean, as long as I'm rinsing, you know? Yeah. Do that rinse afterwards. All right. All right. Good job, everybody.
Starting point is 00:30:15 There you go. That's what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good. It's time for the good news. With Bobby. Tell me something good. Dog named Philmore. Three-year-old German short-haired pointer.
Starting point is 00:30:29 I don't know what that is. is a pointer? Like a hunting dog. Like, I'm familiar with it. The one that sticks the tail out, right? They do the nose? Yeah, yeah. So they're like, the dog's freaking out because there's a house fire.
Starting point is 00:30:41 And so he starts barking like crazy. And I think, no, I'm looking at it. Oh, yeah, it just looks like a lab. I guess it's the coat that makes it a little different. But they say that the unusual behavior woke them up. Flames and sparks were coming from the garage. They thought the neighbor's property was on fire. only to realize it was their own.
Starting point is 00:31:02 They had a 90-year-old relative with them in the house. They got them out all because the dog was going crazy. Oh, wow. That's cool. So a big shout out to Fillmore, the three-year-old German short-haired pointer. That's from the New York Post. I do think if our house was on fire, our dogs would bark. And I think our dogs wouldn't do crap.
Starting point is 00:31:19 But I think mostly depends what part of the house was on fire. The part with their food, they're going to bark. Because they love their food. If it's our bedroom, eh. They'll sleep through it. They'll let it get a little closer to them before they let us know. But yeah, big shout out. You see this story, too, about burglars only break in?
Starting point is 00:31:37 Well, less burglars break in if there's a dog bowl near the front door. Yeah. Really? So any signs of a dog, which a dog bowl out front. I mean, you could also have a sign that's like beware of dog, but some people don't want that in their yard. So you could put a little dog bowl out so that they can see, oh, it's very clear. Probably a big dog. I have a big one.
Starting point is 00:31:57 I wouldn't put a small one. A big one with a steak in it. Yep. Oh, you just put the full meat in there, even if you don't have a dog. Right. Our whole front porch is 10 dog bowls now. It's our alarm system. There you go.
Starting point is 00:32:08 That's what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good. It's time for the good news. With Lunchbox. Tell me something good. Army veteran David Blankenbaker, his wife, Aaron, was diagnosed with cervical cancer, started losing her hair because of chemo. And David's like, man, I got to do something. So he started growing his hair out
Starting point is 00:32:30 And his wife's like, you're going to get a haircut? And he's like, no, I'm going to let it grow. Let it grow. Let it grow. Let it grow. Then he went to the barbershop and said, hey, I need to get this cut off and turn it into a wig for my wife. Did she not know it was for her the whole time? He did tell her. Oh, okay. That's good.
Starting point is 00:32:48 Eventually. Yeah, yeah. My wife tells me now I need a haircut. That's pretty long. She cut my hair the other day for me, though. Yeah. Do you ever like people catch your hair that are? I mean, sometimes I do it myself.
Starting point is 00:33:00 I ordered shears. Yeah. I ordered a little kit online because I'm like, I can kind of trim it up here and there, but I don't trust myself to give a full haircut. Well, yeah, she didn't have full haircut. She, like, I don't like comfortable doing neck and sideburns. And she's like, I don't feel comfortable.
Starting point is 00:33:17 Because it goes up to the weather. Why haven't she gone to get a cut? I'm just chilling right now. A lot going on? I'm in the chilling stage of my life. Yeah. How long was it? his hair. Did it say how long it had to get before he donated it?
Starting point is 00:33:29 No, it doesn't say how long it was, but he went to a salon and parlor, and they took it off, and AJ's wigs, and they're making a wig. It's long. Like, if he's pulling it to the side, he goes down to his nipple. Lunchbox donated hair, right? I did. I did. I did do that. And it got rejected. Well, he grew it out for a bet, first of all. Yep. The bet was, if he grew it out, his buddy would give him how much? Well, one buddy was going to give me $1,000. The other buddy was going to give me $250. And it was for a whole year.
Starting point is 00:33:55 One year, because it had been a month and a half. since I had a haircut. We had been drinking some alcohol. And they're like, man, I've never seen your hair so long. I was like, I'll go a year without cutting it. And we said the amount. They're like, no, no, no deal. And then a couple more alcoholic beverages, they're like, I'll pay you. I'll do it.
Starting point is 00:34:12 My one buddy's, I'll pay you the full thousand. And then the other one jumped in with, I'll pay you $250. I was like, it's on, boys. He grew it for a whole year. It got really long. Yeah, really long. And then when he got his money. I got $250.
Starting point is 00:34:24 Oh, so who backed out of the thousand guy? Yeah. Of course. Yeah. And then you donated it? He donated it. Not the money. No, no.
Starting point is 00:34:31 No, no. The hair. Yeah. I did donate it to Locks for Love. What happened with that? Didn't work out. It went to the oil spill in the Gulf. They wouldn't take it.
Starting point is 00:34:41 It was too. Rejected. It was too gross. It was too gross. And so then they said they were just going to send it to the ocean for the oil spill. To soak in the oil? Yeah. Oh, wow.
Starting point is 00:34:50 Wow. That's tough. Can't win for losing, can you? No, I can't. I mean, I can't do anything right. I mean, I try to do something great, make a wig. and it gets sent to the ocean. Well, you didn't try to do something right.
Starting point is 00:34:59 You tried to win money in a bet. Yeah, you're right. I didn't. But then you didn't even get the money. No, and I even let my buddy, because, see, here's the thing. He got a girl pregnant after six months of the bet. And I said, hey, dude, we can call the bet off. No harm, no foul.
Starting point is 00:35:11 Like, let's just move on. He goes, no, bet's still on. Right. Because you could have cut your hair. And he said, no, bet's still on. And still waiting on that thousand. Dang. Didn't get money.
Starting point is 00:35:24 Also, couldn't give it to locks for love. You all still friends? Yeah, we're still friends. I should bring that up to him. I should text him and be like, hey, you still... In installments. You're going to give me $1,000 or what? Yeah, $10 a week.
Starting point is 00:35:35 Yeah, because he's now high up at his job. He's got $1,000 laying around. There you go. Okay. Call into a debt collector. Oh, turn him in. Turn him in. Okay, if you turn him, I'm turning you in.
Starting point is 00:35:45 For what? You owe me money. Oh, boy. That's debatable. Great point. All right, there you go. Good story. That's what it's all about.
