Evil, wake up. I'm the one that saw the murder take place by Krivac and DePippo. Anthony DePippo showed no signs of remorse,
Starting point is 00:00:56 appearing unfazed after being sentenced to the maximum. I said, I'm not guilty. I'll take it to the grave. Listen to the devil's quarry in the Bone Valley feed On the Iheart radio app Apple Podcasts Or wherever you get your podcasts All right, listen up The Jonas Brothers here
Starting point is 00:01:21 Our podcast is called Hey Jonas We're here since everyone has a podcast We want it to as well And we've had some incredible guests so far And now our good friend Nile Horn is joining the show How's it going boys? Hey Nile It was the same thing with Slow Hands
Starting point is 00:01:31 Slow Hands is not about anything else really is it You know our taste so good Can't be about food You do the same, Nick, with some of the stuff that you've done. You too, Joe. Drop what you're doing and listen to Hey Jonas on the Iheart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you listen to your podcasts. Last night, a blown call changed a game. Starting point is 00:02:34 and that was my tell me something good. a while ago that I ordered it and I originally ordered gold and it came in and I just really didn't like the look. So I swapped it out for the silver and who knew? This was way cheaper. Was the other made of real gold? No. No. But I was shocked at the price and I mean, don't get me wrong, the oar rings are still an investment and that's why it took me so long to get it, but this was my birthday present to myself. And when I did the swap, when I returned it online, I got a big credit back and I was like, what is this for? Turns out the silver is way less than the gold.
Starting point is 00:03:08 And to your point, I have no idea why, because it's basically the same material. It's not like it's real silver or real gold. And same technology. It's exact same technology. But I'm telling you, $150 cheaper. And I saw, what happened was I got the gold and I wasn't wearing it yet. And I wasn't sure about the color of the gold. It looked really like yellowy to me.
Starting point is 00:03:28 And then I ran into a girl, a stranger. I did not know her. And I said, excuse me, is that the aura ring in silver? and she said yes. And I said, how do you like that? And she's like, oh, it's great. I've heard the gold can scratch really easily as well. So then that sealed the deal for me and I swapped it out.
Starting point is 00:03:45 So I finally have it. And what I'm most excited about is tracking my sleep. That feels like when someone is eating a meal and someone comes over and goes, is that chicken good? Yes. Yes. It feels a little invasive, but you get it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Because they also, you know, they deserve to know if the chicken they're about to order as good.
Starting point is 00:04:00 Yeah, it's an investment. I want to know. Gold prices, by the way, have experienced a downward trend over the past month. There's been a sharp drop even in the last 24 hours. I checked out the gold in my freezer this morning. What do you mean? You just looked at it? Well, every time I go in there to get ice, I see my gold.
Starting point is 00:04:15 There's been a decline of roughly 3% in the last day. Gold is down 13.24% compared to one month ago. This follows a historic peak. Now, why I'm saying this is possibly good news, like if you were going to get into gold right now. You get it now. Because you don't want to jump in when it's at a high. If it's at historic highs, that's good for everybody that bought gold. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:36 You do not want to jump in, for the most part, at a historic high. You want to jump in now. Do you have what an ounce of gold is worth at this exact moment based on the decrease? Yeah. And to have you bought golds. Me? Yeah. No, but I keep wanting to because we have a guy on the show, a gold guy, who gave Amy her gold.
Starting point is 00:04:57 Well, I guess you earned the gold, but she... I did a project for him and he paid me. in a gold bar, gold bar, which don't think it's one of those big, huge bars. Those are so expensive. A gold bar is about, I don't know, like the size of a, I don't know, how do I describe this? Like a candy bar, which candy bar? Like a domino. It's the size of a domino. Oh, wow, that's fun. How much do you think it's worth? Because I looked up one ounce gold bar, and it's given me a significant amount. Is it around 4,000? Yes. Okay. Yeah. Wow.
Starting point is 00:05:32 That's what you have yours is worth. Oh my God. Well, yes, guys, we've got. No wonder she's just throwing around the order or a ring like crazy for a $350 ring. Dang, that's nice. Okay. Well, it was more had I got the gold ring.
Starting point is 00:05:44 Wow. But listen, it goes, it's fluctuated because it's gone. Right now it's $4,873. That's pretty good. Okay, so that's about where it was when it was given to me. And then it went up, up, up. So then it was worth more. And now it's gone.
Starting point is 00:06:00 So it's not like it's gone. Dang, big dog. Way back down. Big dog. Big dog eating over here. I didn't know that was going to be worth that much, that domino of gold. Wow. Yeah, that dog, it's tiny.
Starting point is 00:06:12 I want a Scrooge McDuck bar. A big bar. Yeah, but those are hundreds of thousands of dollars, right? I asked. They're 400 ounces and it's between $1.9 to $2 million. Okay, millions. Okay. For a bar?
Starting point is 00:06:26 For a bar. For like the Scrooge Big Duck one. And where would you keep that? No, I wouldn't. I didn't know it was that much. In a bank safe. Yeah. No, I wouldn't.
Starting point is 00:06:35 I don't even want that. I mean, I'd like to have it, yes, but I'm not. What's like a bar like this? We've done this before three times. Like a bar like this big. That's the one that's in the hundreds of thousands. The kilogram? Is that what?
Starting point is 00:06:47 Yeah. The one is smaller than the 400 ounce one is a kilogram, 31.15 ounces. And that's between 85 to 150,000. Okay. Okay. He doesn't have those in. I asked him. Oh, Kyle the older?
Starting point is 00:06:59 Yeah, you get them. Can you get them? Can you get a bunch of? of the little nugget ones that I have. Wow, you don't want a bunch of... I'll lose them. Exactly. I can't even keep sunglasses or watches
Starting point is 00:07:09 and wondering if I'm losing it. It's in a protective case. Oh, it is? Your bar is? Yeah, it's not just floating like a quarter in my freezer. And I shall be transferring it soon. It's just freezers wear
Starting point is 00:07:24 I keep a lot of things. Let's see. But I have an alarm. Yeah. And I watch. dog. Yeah. I just got offered Snooki for a bobbycast.
Starting point is 00:07:39 What? I was pausing for a reaction. Waiting. Waiting for somebody to react. Well, no, it's, but she's only here on a weekend. Mike, we wanted to come up on a weekend? For Snookie. Mike's like, I'd rather not.
Starting point is 00:07:53 Ooh, Saturday. She has a huge volume. I know. I know, I know. Have you talked to her? No, I've never. Just on the phone. Lunchbox is yelled at her in a kind way.
Starting point is 00:08:03 Yeah. I'm going to say, ask about Friday. I would do Snuckie as a bobbycast. We have Mike Rowe that same day. You know micro? Dirty jobs. Yeah, dirty jobs. His name is Mike.
Starting point is 00:08:17 Oh, what's his name? Mike Rowe. Mike Rowe. Okay, I thought you said micro, like micro machines. Oh, yeah, no, not micro. He's got a nickname like that? That's cool. Mike Rowe, who does dirty jobs.
Starting point is 00:08:30 Yeah. All right. Thank you, Amy, for your time of something good. Are that yours? Yeah. Your ring. Got it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:36 Eddie. So I was telling you guys my mother-in-laws in town, my father-in-law's in town. And, man, they've been so helpful. You know, they did the laundry. My father-in-law did the dishes last night. And then last night, they said, why don't you guys go on a date tomorrow? Like, we'll watch the kids because they're off for Good Friday. And so my wife and I, after we're done with this, we're going to go on a date, a little lunch date.
Starting point is 00:08:59 We're going to go out to eat. Yeah. And then maybe take it to a movie. I don't know. I haven't really decided yet. But I'm excited. You don't go home at all. And then we go, then we drive to Texas.
Starting point is 00:09:09 And then, that's fun. So I'm excited about that because we never have like date time like that. Because one of my boys is homeschooled now. So we never have time alone. You trust them with all the kids? Yeah. Yeah, I'm both of them. I think one, they would probably take over.
Starting point is 00:09:24 But both of them, I think they could stand their ground. You mean both the grandparents? Yes. Because there's more than two kids. Correct. But if it was just grandma with the four boys, trouble. Got it. Lunchbox.
Starting point is 00:09:33 Tell me something good. Yeah, thanks to Abby. I learned that I have a new Mac computer and I thought I could only use my charger and I didn't have it. I've been bumming scuba's when, but he's not here. You can plug an old charger into one of these ports and it'll charge the new computer. That's cool. So you don't have to buy a new charger when you get this new computer. So thank you, Abby.
Starting point is 00:09:54 And you can use your phone charger. Boop right in there. I don't understand the port thing because your phone charger, yeah, you can use easily. It's all the same. No, no, no. This new one, the charger is. fatter and wider, and it is just a magnetic one on the side. And I thought that was the only thing that would charge this computer.
Starting point is 00:10:11 And now, Abby showed me that these little two holes on the side, you can plug your phone charger in there and charge a computer. Okay, I think he's back a generation then, because the new computers, right, don't have the magnetic. Correct. Right. His computer was very old, so now he's excited that he can use the same charger for his phone that he can on his computer. No, no, no. This is the new one. This is the new computer, guys.
Starting point is 00:10:32 You guys are a generation behind. I am right. Some of the new ones went to magnetic again. They went back to where it was? This one's magnetic again. Why are they doing that? You should like to mess with this? So we can use the old charger?
Starting point is 00:10:43 Yeah. But I didn't know that. I thought it was only the magnetic and I was at work and I didn't have a charger and scuba's not here for me to bum his. And Abby's like, you know, you can just plug it in right there. And I was like, what? So, boom. I learned they went back to the magnetic.
Starting point is 00:10:59 I've known you could do the phone into the... Yes. But I didn't know they went back to magnetic. I've bought a laptop in forever. I used my phone 90% of the time now. You used to take your laptop everywhere. I have mine with me. Today I haven't even opened it.
Starting point is 00:11:11 But yeah, it's mostly my phone. But lunchbox refuses to watch stuff on his phone. It's too small of a screen. I don't really understand how you guys do that. And you have pretty good vision. Yeah. I just don't, I don't see. I mean, I guess on an airplane, I understand it.
Starting point is 00:11:25 Like I saw Morgan do it. That one time I was like, that's smart. But like when you're at your house, it makes no sense. I sit at the bar and watch At my house I'm eating all the time YouTube TV or But it's like TikTok Don't you watch like TikTok or Facebook or Instagram or whatever?
Starting point is 00:11:40 I mean very rarely man I very rarely look at it Like I just don't have time Yeah that makes sense You don't have time No You take a nap every day for like two hours right? Yeah yeah I'd rather nap than look at my phone
Starting point is 00:11:53 Okay got it But you do have time you're just choosing to nap for two hours Yeah nap for two hours yes I mean that's more important to me What about the bathroom though? What about the bathroom? You don't do it? You don't look at your phone in the bathroom?
Starting point is 00:12:06 No. You don't? No, what's weird? What do you do? I read in there, like magazines? You guys, it's not healthy to have anything weird. Don't preach to us about what's healthy. Don't preach to us about what's healthy.
Starting point is 00:12:20 Go ahead, Amy, tell us what's healthy. I think men in general, y'all spend too much time in the bathroom and... No, but if you're in there for five minutes, you have your phone. Okay, five minutes. What's going on? That's average. Five minutes. What do you mean what's going on?
Starting point is 00:12:37 It's average, so sometimes it's 10? Sometimes it's 30. Okay, so now you're admitting it's 30. No, occasionally. But I have bad gastrointestinal issues. Bobby gets a pass because of his sensitive geogio, what is it? Gastrointestinal system. Men in general, I think that y'all were kind of taught early on,
Starting point is 00:13:00 Oh, my men, we take the paper and we go in there and we sit down and we make it a whole thing. And like, y'all need to be, let's go. Yeah, and I don't think anyone ever had that conversation with me. Listen, son, when you go to the room, you take 30 minutes, okay? What you used to when you were little? Not you, Bobby. Eddie, did you, in Lodgewaguerg, did you see your dad taking the newspaper into the bathroom? I remember going into their bathroom and seeing, like, literature.
Starting point is 00:13:24 So that was weird to me. Like, wow, there's like stuff in here to read. That's crazy. Yeah, I mean, my dad used to take the, Sports Illustrated in there, and that's where I learned that habit. Okay. But then you really can't touch it. No one else can use it if it's in there with you.
Starting point is 00:13:37 It's been exposed. It's by it. Yes, it has. To the elements. Pride is like love. You feel it in your heart. IR. Radio. Canada's number one streaming app for radio and podcasts, including IHart Pride Canada,

In the moment, it felt like it was going on forever.
Starting point is 00:14:17 I didn't think I was going to live. I was terrified. There was no anything inside those eyes. They turned black. It scared the hell out of it. me. That was your first murder case? Yes, sir. Fair to say this was the biggest case of your career? Yes, sir. Rape a murder for a child. Just as bad as it gets. I would think so. People wake up. I'm the one that saw the murder take place by Crevette and DePippo.
Starting point is 00:14:49 Anthony DePippo showed no signs of remorse, appearing unfazed after being sentenced to the maximum. I said, I'm not guilty. I'll take it to the grave. Starting point is 00:15:34 like when actress Olivia Munn shared how she overcame fierce health challenges. I've gone through breast cancer and then helped my mother through breast cancer, and that was more difficult. There's a lot of people who understand postpartner depression. I was not prepared for postpartum anxiety. Listen to Joy 101 with Hoda Kotby
Starting point is 00:15:50 on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. All right, listen up. The Jonas Brothers here. Our podcast is called, Hey Jonas. We've here, since everyone has a podcast, we wanted to as well.
Starting point is 00:16:00 And we've had some incredible guests so far. And now our good friend, Niall Horne is joining the show. How's it going, boys? Hey, Niall. It was the same thing with Slow Hands. Slow Hands is not about anything else, really, is it? You know, our taste
Starting point is 00:16:11 so good, can be about food. You do the same, Nick, with some of the stuff that you've done. You too, Joe. Drop what you're doing and listen to Hey Jonas on the Iheart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you listen to your podcasts. Okay, Morgan, tell me something good. Yeah, I've gotten to go on two walks a day, the last two days, which is really good for me, one, because I've not been moving a lot recently, and I'm, so I'm finally feeling good again to, like, be back in stride.
Starting point is 00:16:38 The vertigo is lifting a bit. You have your glasses on right now? No. No. It's off. My screen's down. I can't tell. So no big red glasses today?
Starting point is 00:16:48 No, I'm trying it out, seeing how I feel today, trying to go a whole day without them, and been walking to see how my balance is going. So I'm feeling good. I'm hoping that this was just a short episode. Lunchbox, you have one? Yeah, my charger on the computer. Oh, I didn't know that was this. Oh, my God. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:09 All right. It's a good on, man. My birthday was yesterday, and for birthday, below average, for normal day above average. So better than an average normal day, below average birthday. But I was good about it. I had Amy's leftovers. That's what I had for dinner, leftovers. Really?
Starting point is 00:17:26 Sweet. Really what? You didn't get like another dinner? Like you just left, you ate the chicken breast day? We're not going to go anywhere. The baby. The baby can go places, but we didn't. And Caitlin's mom's in town.
Starting point is 00:17:40 And she was like, we can go somewhere or we can go somewhere. or we can order. And I was like, eh, it's last minute. I'll just eat Amy's chicken fried steak. I guess I misspelled a chicken friend steak. Yeah, you did. Which is pretty good. I didn't know if you did that on purpose.
Starting point is 00:17:49 No, I wouldn't do something corny like that, but I liked it. That is kind of cool. Corny. Chicken friend. I like it. Well, he's like eating Amy's leftover or day two of Amy's chicken friend steak. And I'm like, that's what's up? Yeah, that's cool.
Starting point is 00:18:01 And apparently it was just a typo. It was really good. So, but I had to order Cracker Barrel sides. because nothing goes with chicken fried steak like fried okra and corn and broccoli and sweet tea so did that I need to get you those pans back though right yeah they're not ours to keep yeah they belong to the chef but all don't worry about yeah I'll grab them and make sure they get them back I did have a good cake my wife got me a really cool Arkansas Razorback cake we had about a quarter of it that looked legit yeah it was good it's on my Instagram if you want to see it uh brought the rest of it for
Starting point is 00:18:33 Eddie the family oh I'm probably not going to eat at all where the boys will we can have a bite Can I have a bite? You can have some? Yes. Amy can have some. It's in the fridge here, so. I just take a little bite. It looks so good.
Starting point is 00:18:45 It's really good. Like when I saw it. Like I won a little more right now too. Well, let's get it out. Yeah, we'd go great with my coffee. Well, my wife was like, are you going to just take it to everybody when you work? I said, no, because I don't want to mess in my studio. Like, I don't want cake in my studio that I had to pay all my money for.
Starting point is 00:19:01 So be careful. Or are we going to talk about the donuts that got brought to you? You can. Because that made a mess. I heard. So Steph, B Team Steph, our listener for 15 years, she sent up donuts and is super nice of her. And out in the lobby, if we have our own small lobby that's different than the rest of the buildings lobby, I guess the donuts were just there. Yes.
Starting point is 00:19:24 And you were like, Morgan brought them out and she said, hey, Bobby said we could all share these. So they were out on the table. And one was dug into already, but there was no silver or anything. And then I see Ray walking down the hall licking his fingers. And I said, Ray, did you just stick your finger into the donut? It had icing on top. So it was all over. And he was like, yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:46 But I mean, to be fair, he ate the part that he touched. So it wasn't gross. But still, he dug his hands in there. So then I thought, well, I'm going to go get knives and forks and napkins. So I go get knives, forks, and napkins. And then we're all gathered around. And everybody's cutting into it. And they were a little crumbly because I assume these were likely dairy-free or vegan-type donuts for you.
Starting point is 00:20:06 they tasted delicious. They were just a little crumbly. And even the forks and the knives and everything is sitting right there. And some people are just still going in with their fingers. And I'm so perplexed by that. Who do you think? Lala, la, la, la lunchbox. And I don't know.
Starting point is 00:20:26 It's almost like he was acting like the fork was hard. And I mean, to be fair, I guess it is easier to grab it with your hands. Well, and to be fair, forks are hard to him. He can't, for some reason, with his, shoulder problem? He can't really... You can use a fork. So that's how we shared the dessert for your birthday yesterday. I could imagine if you put the cake out there. People just... Oh, man. Their hands. It's also why I don't like have food out here. Like, you know what? I'll be honest. In the building that IR pays for, that's a whole building. That's a big company. Pay for that.
Starting point is 00:20:56 And then Eddie's like, hold on... In my building, I don't want stuff out and getting dirty. I'm sure Eddie would be like, let me go get milk from the fridge that belongs to somebody else. I'll have something to drink. Somebody added Racha sauce to the refrigerator. That looked kind of good. I saw that the other day. You mean to the company's fridge and you want some of that?
Starting point is 00:21:15 Yeah, it looks good. Yeah, so I don't know. The donuts were good. So it's a good time. But yes, you probably do have a good idea of how we consume food. The cake is good. Have at it. Is it dairy free?
Starting point is 00:21:28 Yes, but you don't know the difference. Instead of the dairy, she used cherry, it's awesome. Really? Like, yeah, it's great. So did that We watched the Thunder game last night At least the first half They were up like 73 to 30 on the Lakers
Starting point is 00:21:42 Caitlin's mom and Caitlin's dad They watch every Thunder game And Caitlin watches a good amount of them And so they were playing that game So I watched the first half of that Before went to bed But it was a pretty good day Good
Starting point is 00:21:56 Yeah Your first birthday as a dad Yeah Get used to those Well then it'll be his second And third and fourth Yeah. They just become normal days. I think you said it perfect.
Starting point is 00:22:08 No, but last year it was normal too. There's no difference. Last year I did nothing either. You said it perfectly though where it's like it was better than a normal day, but it was per birthday. Yeah, some part birthday. Yes. But better than a normal day. Yeah, that's perfect.
Starting point is 00:22:19 So I think that's probably my tone of something good. All right. Everybody in? Lunchbox. I think we won't have his. The computer, dude. He figured out the computer. Got it, got it.
Starting point is 00:22:29 Although I didn't learn that the laptops now are back to the magnetic, which is the old. Why are they doing that? Why are they going back and forth? Just grow with us? Because, yes. They like to make us spend more money. It's so stupid. That is so...
Starting point is 00:22:39 But I think I already have a couple of those old chargers. Well, I don't know that I do because I was like, well, these are worthless now. Right. Through Malaysia. All right, there you go. That's what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good. It's time for the good news.
Starting point is 00:22:54 With Bobby. Tell me something good. Fifth graders are writing letters to teenagers to encourage safe driving for prom, which I thought was pretty cool. I know your daughter's, about to hit it up. Missouri elementary school students wrote handwritten letters to high school students ahead of prom to encourage safe driving and responsible choices. I like it.
Starting point is 00:23:15 So if they listen. I bet they listen to kids more than they listen to adults. For sure. I mean, I think back to some of the kids, though, at my prom. And by kids, I mean, also my group of friends. And there wasn't the most responsible decisions being made. But we tried to be as responsible as possible. Like, we had a bus.
Starting point is 00:23:35 a party bus, and then we had a block of rooms at a hotel. What on earth? What were our parents thinking? A block of rooms? Yes. Because everyone was there just all hanging out. I mean, we were. I think I needed a fifth grader to write me a letter going, hey, man, relax, live a little.
Starting point is 00:23:52 That's what you needed? Yeah, I think I needed the opposite. Like, you know, it's a party. Have fun. You don't have to drop her off right when it's over? Yeah, yeah, different lives, different lives. But one of the students, Ivan Meyer, wrote a nerd, wrote a note encouraging teens not to drink and drive and to stay around responsible friends.
Starting point is 00:24:08 And I like it. It's a good little program. The young kids writing to the teenagers. That's from K-S-H-B. Great story. That's what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good. It's time for the good news.
Starting point is 00:24:20 With Amy. Tell me something good. So Ashland Drew and her son Hudson were at McDonald's in Oklahoma. Hudson's only three years old.
