Starting point is 00:01:51 This morning, the internet lost its mind. And nobody's telling you exactly what happened. That's where Sports Slice comes in. I'm Timbo. In every episode, we're cutting through the noise, breaking down the biggest moments in sports and giving you the real story behind the headlines. and we're going straight to the source, the athletes themselves. Their locker room stories, their reactions in the moment, and the stuff nobody gets to hear.
Starting point is 00:02:14 Listen to SportsSlice on the iHeart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. And for more, follow Timbo Slicalife-Life 12 in the TikTok podcast network on TikTok. It's time for the good news. Tell me something good. Mine's going to start off not great. It gets there, though.
Starting point is 00:02:33 We have had like a moth problem in our house. which is gross. My wife and I'm like, where are they coming from? And so there'll be like one in the bedroom. We kill it. Another one in the bedroom. Some of the dog room. We went through everything in the house.
Starting point is 00:02:48 We could not find it because sometimes it's like something, food left out. Who knows what? Clothes. I don't know. And I'm not even sure it was a moth. It was just a flying bug. So that's all a moth to me.
Starting point is 00:02:58 Okay. So we looked and looked and looked. And yesterday I was looking through Stanley's food, nothing. So I'm so confused because we've had issues before where I would leave Stanley's food because we dump it in a tin and then if I don't seal it like bugs can get in it there. So I went through it. And for some reason I thought, let me check that because we have like two bags of dog food.
Starting point is 00:03:22 He's always sick. Like he lives sick because he's a bulldog. Not always actively sick, but he's always a day away. He's always a day away. And sick is his baseline? He has bad digestive issues And if I don't keep him Exactly on with all his medicine
Starting point is 00:03:39 At the right time, it goes back to like water poop And then it takes a week to dig out So I go and it was his sealed bags of food That had bugs in them I don't even know how they were getting out But it was from the sealed bags of food Both of them. Weird. It was so weird.
Starting point is 00:03:55 I told Caitlin I said because I thought it was my, it's always my It's honestly stuff like that is usually my fault And I was like, you're never going to believe this It's in the sealed bags of food. So you open them up? Yes. Open one. There were a few bugs in there and I thought, was there a hole they got through?
Starting point is 00:04:09 Open the other one. No, it wasn't like being attacked. But there were a couple and they just are reproducing. Yeah. So we found it. Must have been at the manufacturer. I would probably agree with that too. And then how are they getting out?
Starting point is 00:04:20 They must be tiny. They don't want to be tiny. Right? And then they get bigger as they're out. I guess. So hopefully we have fixed that problem. I've got stink bugs everywhere. Right now?
Starting point is 00:04:30 Because the water is wet outside? I guess they're everywhere. Like they're all on my porch and then they get in my house and you can't. I try to scoop them up and then rescue them outside because when you squash them, that's when they stink. And I don't want to squash them either because they look like they'd crunch. Do they really stink? Like what do they smell like?
Starting point is 00:04:48 I think that's why they're called stink bucks is when you smush them, they stink. But I don't know. I had to Google what they were and that's how I learned what I, the information I'm telling you, but I have not personally squashed one so I can't say what it sells. smells like. It's not about you not wanting to kill a bug. It's that you don't want the crunch. No, there's certain bugs I have no problem or spiders. I have no problem killing. Other ones, I just, like a ladybug, I would never. Never. A spider. Didn't you get a ladybug in your salad recently? Yeah. Yeah. And my triple washed organic blend.
Starting point is 00:05:20 Nothing more organic than a bug. Yeah, I get it. There might be bugs in there. But honestly, if it was a different kind of bug, I would have been like a little more grossed out. But it was a cute little ladybug, which they're the same. A bug's a bug. No, she didn't eat it. I think she just freed it. No, no, no, no, the salad though. No, I was dead. I thought like, did you eat the bug? No, no, no, no. I still ate the salad. You did? Yeah, it was a ladybug. I feel like ladybugs can be just as good, like, you take away their cute little coat and then they're ugly bugs. But what about the poop? They luck out because they've got a cute little red coat with dots. And dude ladybugs, not a good life. Everybody thinks you're a chick. Oh, because you're pretty.
Starting point is 00:06:01 You're a lady. No, your name's ladybug. Yeah, it's a dudebug. Ladybug. Yeah. You're this dude bug that's slaying chicks with a big slong and they're calling you ladybug? You're a dude?
Starting point is 00:06:11 No, no. Hey, baby. Yeah, that's weird, huh? I don't know if ladybugs have. No, I know. I was just like doing the mental slongs. Part of it would be, you know? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:20 Other good news would be, uh, so tomorrow we will be in Austin, starting tomorrow for our IHart country festival, which is Saturday, which will be on Disney Plus and Hulu. this year so you guys can watch. If you're anywhere near, you can still get some tickets if you want to come, Ticketmaster.com. That being said, my in-laws are coming to town. So they'll be here today. So I'll see them today and then, you know, we'll leave tomorrow. But I was like when they come. I love when they come. So they get here this afternoon. They always split it up into two, two days. The trip, you can make it in a day pretty easily. We've done it a couple times driving. It's nine hours or so.
Starting point is 00:07:01 but they like to take their time, eat, stay in like central Arkansas, or on the east side of Memphis, not in Memphis. I told them my Olive Garden stories. Yeah, don't go to Olive Garden. Don't just go on through. So they'll be here today. That's my other one. Well, what about you?
Starting point is 00:07:18 Speaking of going to Austin, I decided last minute I wanted to get a spray tan, and I didn't know if I was going to be able to because I didn't plan ahead and book it. And I haven't had a spray tan in a very long time. Last time I got one was like all. August 24. You have it now?
Starting point is 00:07:36 No. Oh. No, I haven't gotten it yet. I get it today. That's my good news is that I was expecting to text her and her being like, oh, I can't. I'm booked. But thankfully, it's a Thursday. Like if it was a Friday, I'd probably be in a little more trouble.
Starting point is 00:07:54 And because I can do it in the afternoon. And some people want it either in the morning so they can, or at night before they go to bed. but she was like, can you do 1 p.m. And I was like, I can do 1 p.m. So at 1 p.m. today, I'm getting my first spray tan since 2024. I did, I have, I have a microphone. No. That's your chair.
Starting point is 00:08:10 It's my chair. Yeah, right there. You're so, I'm indirectly. No, no, you just have so much energy. You're talking about spray tans. You're bouncing your chair. Well, I do, you know, my at home, just self-tanner. Like, I have a mist for my face.
Starting point is 00:08:21 But this is actual, like, you know. And it's been a minute. And I, I'm going to see how good it makes me feel because it's been so long. And I feel like a spray tan used to change my entire day. And you know, you see those meme videos where people were like, I thought I was depressed, but then I got a spray tan and everything changed. So it turns out I'm not depressed. And I don't feel depressed right now anyway, so it's fine.
Starting point is 00:08:42 But I can't wait just to see if it transforms me even more. I miss them. I haven't had one. You miss them? I would only get them for television. It's super right lights. Well, we're going to be on Hulu and Disney Plus. My hosting role is so minimal.
Starting point is 00:08:59 Well, but I show more. You're probably wearing a coat and pants. Like, I show more arms. No, I'm just wearing jean shorts and nothing. Nice. Yeah, just georts and no shirt. Dude, you'd be you. Okay, well, I have like, no, I show more skin.
Starting point is 00:09:12 Amy's topless with, what are those little things called? You put up the nipples? Pace. Yeah. No, that's not mean. Didn't like Cardi B or something wear one of those to the, uh, maybe it's a little Kim way back in the day. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:22 Like on a red carpet. Amy shows up like that. So that's not my outfit. But, um, I just thought, why not? I didn't even do it. I haven't done. Obviously, we had IHart Country Festival last year, but I was wearing a long sleeve set, like a jacket and pants.
Starting point is 00:09:37 So I barely was showing you skin. So I was like, whatever. But this year, I'm not. So I was like, you know what? I'm going to treat myself to the old spray tan. Yeah. Oh, lunch? You got a freaking haircut.
Starting point is 00:09:47 Look at that. No, he got a little. Daniel, dude. Look at this. Went in. Ask for the one all over, huh? No, it's just on the one on the side. She did take it pretty short on the top.
Starting point is 00:09:56 Yeah, but the beard, too. Well, yeah. of course I'm going to shave the beard. Well, what do you tell him? Lunchbox Buzzcut? Like, what do you tell him? No, I say a high fade, one on the side, take a little bit on the top just so I can kind of move it to the side.
Starting point is 00:10:09 And she took a lot off the top. And I mean, once she cuts one, you can't really stop because you got to be even. So you're going to still be able to take it to the side? Not really. No, it's kind of stuck there, huh? Yep. Not enough. Did she flatten the top out a little bit, though?
Starting point is 00:10:25 Because it looks like a flat top. No, she didn't flatten it out that I know if she just took scissors and was chisers. was chopping and... That's where you were wondering, what's the ins felt like? It was giving military. Very much. Sure.
Starting point is 00:10:36 Yeah. That's all right. But it looks, it looks sharp. Like if you touch it. Literally sharp. Yeah, yeah, it does. No, I think,
Starting point is 00:10:46 but with his, he, trust me, he, you all know, he'll show up. He'll have his button down because he has his stylist.
Starting point is 00:10:54 His friend styles him. Yeah. And his bracelets and his jeans. His bracelets. Yes, the eagle. Snake bracelets.
Starting point is 00:11:00 No, there is no designer this year. Ryan tried to send me, he's like, here I got this jacket. And I was like, you've lost your mind. Why? What was wrong with it? Ed Hardy? No, it wasn't Ed Hardy. It was more like flower puff.
Starting point is 00:11:14 And I was like, no, we're not doing that. Flower puff? Like, was it puffy or the flowers were just puffy? Let me, I don't know how to say. Did it have flowers on it? Yeah, lots of flowers. And were they puffy? I guess. I'll show Morgan so she can kind of describe it. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:11:38 It looks like it's a grandma's tablecloth. Yeah, it looks like your grandma's couch cushions. It was like I'm like, what are you? It's like old style florals. It's a light beige jacket with light blue, light pink, light green florals all over it. Lunchbox, give it a shot. Yeah, dude. I told him, that's a no for me, dog. So I won't be wearing. and squirrels on your bracelets? Never wore snakes or squirrels, but yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:04 A placer like that could be epic for you lunchbox. Totally, man. You love attention. No, definitely not going to be wearing that. So. Morgan, if I was wearing that, would it be weird? I just don't know that anybody would want to wear that. Got it.
Starting point is 00:12:17 Remember one time Sam Hunt showed up to one of our festivals with a floral bomber jacket. And at the time, it was a little bit. And then, like, I was like, okay, that's working for him. It's working. Like, you just have to. I think the big part was it was him. I was going to say, though, that one was cool.
Starting point is 00:12:33 This one doesn't look that cool. Well, hey, I still remember Sam Hunt in the floral bomber jacket. Oh, you still remember Sam Hunt. It didn't matter what he was wearing. No, I don't remember his other outfits. I've seen him multiple times. That's the only one I remember. What other artists do you remember wearing cool stuff?
Starting point is 00:12:51 Honestly. That's it. Just Sam Hunt and the bomber, the floral bomber. Lunchbox is going to have been your moment. Happy Pride Months, Toronto. In the moment, it felt like it was going on forever. I didn't think I was going to live. I was terrified. There was no anything inside those eyes.
Starting point is 00:13:44 They turned black. It scared the hell out of me. That was your first murder case? Yes, sir. Fair to say this was the biggest case of your career? Yes, sir. Rape and murder for a child. She's as bad as it gets.
Starting point is 00:13:58 I would think so. People wake up. I'm the one that's a woman that. Saw the murder take place by Crevette and DePippo. Anthony DePippo showed no signs of remorse, appearing unfazed after being sentenced to the maximum. I said, I'm not guilty. I'll take it to the grief.

And for more, follow Timbo Sliced Life 12 and the TikTok podcast network on TikTok. Lunchbox, do you ever tell me something good? Yeah, so apparently when I booked my flight to Austin, I got a one with a stop in New Orleans. Wait, real.
Starting point is 00:16:17 Yeah, and I didn't realize that. And so I had to hit up the people and be like, hey, I just realized I'm not on a nonstop flight. Can you go ahead and change me to the nonstop? So I got on a nonstop flight. So I don't have to stop in New Orleans. That makes me feel a lot better. It was like a wasted stop in New Orleans for no reason.
Starting point is 00:16:35 And the planes leave 30 minutes apart from each other. So I don't know why. Maybe they just put the wrong one on accident. because I don't know why they would book that one for you. Did you book it lunch or did they book it for you? No, they booked it and I didn't even look at it. I didn't pay attention until I was like looking at my flight and I'm like, wait a minute. That says I have a stop in New Orleans.
Starting point is 00:16:51 Did you put your preferences like I prefer a nonstop? No, I didn't. They asked for preferences. Well, doesn't everyone prefer a nonstop? Yeah, but they still ask because you could leave earlier with a stop. That could be a preference. Like you get there earlier and there's a stop versus later with a nonstop. Yeah, you put your preferred airline.
Starting point is 00:17:09 you put your preferred, yeah, stops. That's pretty much it. Seat, seat. Like there's Morgan, is Morgan talking about flying that weird airline? Oh, yeah, Contour Airlines. This wasn't for this, but does that contour fly anywhere else? Then where? I don't know, could that be one of our preferences?
Starting point is 00:17:29 Like down there? I don't know if it goes to Austin, but I know it's all over the, like, East Coast. Did you end up booking it? Yeah, I booked it on the way back. So I was a little nervous to book it on the way there because I was like, I don't want anything to go wrong. I want to be able to go on this trip. You only want to die on the way home from your trip? Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:48 Yeah. At least it go out with a bang, you know. But also, apparently people's bags get lost quite a bit on it. So I was like, if I lose my bag on the way home, I'll be fine. I have stuff at home. But going there, I don't. So I was like, I'm going to try this on the way back. And so we're flying it from Chicago to like a small airport in Indiana back to Nashville. I'm confused to how bags get lost
Starting point is 00:18:10 on a plane like that because aren't they just under the plane and if you're going into a small airport they just pull them out and put them in the airport it's probably the transfer
Starting point is 00:18:16 huh? But again if you're at a small airport, private airport, small airport, small plane, there's no transfer. It's not like
Starting point is 00:18:22 you're going through a massive... Well, is it a nonstop, Morgan? It's not a nonstop so that's why. No. Let's hope not because it's east coast.
Starting point is 00:18:29 Your contour or whatever is not a non- I thought it was a single no stop airline to regional places. It's no, it's to allow you to go to smaller cities, so that's why it's not a nonstop. So, like, basically, and people from here
Starting point is 00:18:43 will go to this small town in Indiana. So it's like a bus. Kind of. You're just like making stops. What the heck? Yeah. I guess we're going to land real quick, drop three people off. That's literally what it is, because there's only 30 people on a flight. So it's very small. It's just to connect smaller cities is kind of the whole thought process behind it. But yeah, they also don't have as many employees I read. So I wonder if that's part of why. It feels less safe as you talk about it. Did they have two pilots? She's like, we're not sure they're going to have enough pilots.
Starting point is 00:19:11 No, they only have one pilot. Only one pilot per plane? Is that a joke? No, that's real. I thought that wasn't like allowed. No, you can't do that. Yeah, like you can't fly two pilots on these planes. They're too small.
Starting point is 00:19:22 There's only one pilot. If there's 30 people, there's two. No, no. Like even on the teeny tiniest bumblebee plane, there's two seats. You don't have to have two pilots, but. You don't have to have two pilots, but there is room for two pilots on a plane. I've seen the plane. This is a two pilot cockpit.
Starting point is 00:19:37 Unless they like Did some demo inside of it And there's like a pinball machine And a place for a pilot Or maybe that's where one of the passengers gets to sit I think I got bamboozles First class on contours
Starting point is 00:19:51 You could just sit with the pilot Yeah it says they have two pilots Yeah I think I got bambovaled on On social media You got what Morgan Bambusal Bambuzzled Bamboodled
Starting point is 00:20:03 Yeah I thought it had to Only one Somebody posted that I only have one pilot because it was such a small aircraft, but yeah. It's only got one wing on the plane. That's okay. We're saving some money. Yeah, I've never, I've never heard of that airline. Contour. The planes looked like if we're flying in one of the regional places, like the American Eagle, it's not the big plane. It looked the same size. Now, I don't know much about planes, but those are, safe. It just looks like that's all they have. They don't have the bigger ones. But
Starting point is 00:20:37 But yeah, okay. Well, you ever tell me something good, Morgan? Yeah, I do. I think my cat has made a strange friend. So we let her out on our deck every morning. It's all, like, enclosed in. She watches birds and animals and kind of sits there. But we discovered for the past week she, like, scratches to get out the door because there's another cat that she, like, meets up with every morning. And we captured it on one of, like, our security cameras. And I was like, that's another cat. And they sit and they just stare at each other through the screen for like an hour.
Starting point is 00:21:11 And then the cat leaves. And every morning this is happening. Yeah, I wonder what animals are thinking. Wouldn't that be cool? They wouldn't hang out? But again, because they're animals, maybe they don't have the same social needs that we have. Oh, Morgan, is your cat a girl or a boy? It's a girl.
Starting point is 00:21:31 So I don't know if this cat is a boy or a girl. Cats are really hard to figure out. You think they're doing it? Something could be in heat. They want to do it. Yeah, I think they're. there's a screen holding them back, right? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:21:40 Or it could be like prison. You can do it up against the window. Cats, they get pregnant real quick. Yeah, and they, I mean, most of the time you don't spare or neuter cats because they're inside if you have a straight indoor cat, so you're not like spay or neutering, but mine's indoor and I took care of that just in case.
Starting point is 00:21:58 Actually, I wish I wouldn't have, though. But it was part of my contract. The lady that I got the cat from, she said I had to do it. Did she come back and check? But then I'm like, She lives in San Diego. Why was I listening to her?
Starting point is 00:22:10 And what does she care? Well, because then you can make more. That's her job. It's her business. She made the beautiful cat. You can't make the beautiful cat. And then my cat's, she's defected. Defective?
Starting point is 00:22:21 Is that the word? Defective? Yeah. She doesn't have a back pall pad and she's cross-eyed. Is it defective the way to talk about somebody who has that kind of problem? My cat? I feel like. You mean, is that politically correct?
Starting point is 00:22:35 I don't know. What if I didn't have a back paw pad? No, that's not. And I have one eye that, I'm offended. I have one eye that doesn't work. I'm not talking about humans. I'm talking about a cat that I paid a lot. I rescued my dog, shout out.
Starting point is 00:22:49 At my cat, we needed a very specific kind of, kind of sort of a little bit hypoallergenic because the only truly hypoallergenic cat is a hairless cat, and we're not going to do that. But there is a list of 10 cats that fall into, they have less dander. And so my sister's allergic. So we found this cat.
Starting point is 00:23:06 and she was expensive and I feel like, I don't know, she's, she's so cute, but she's a mess. Same as Stanley. Okay. Right? Like anything that has been bred, they're not tough. They're not strong. They've been so perfectly bred and they've had to be so precious with all the elements. It's like a human.
Starting point is 00:23:33 If they just come up and they have no adversity in their life, think it genetically, no adversity ever, nothing would develop. And so, you know, our story's a bit different. And Stanley was a bread bulldog, but we took him because he was so sick as a puppy. I took him. My wife wasn't there yet. He was so, like, messed up as a puppy that I was like, I'll take him because Dusty had died. And it was John Pardy's mom.
Starting point is 00:23:56 And, you know, we had to have surgery immediately. But he was a bread dog. And that's why he was sick to begin with. I just had to pay for the flight to get him over here. I did pay something. but yeah it's yeah in any animal that's like pure bread they're sick all the time genetic because the love's taken out of the love the love making it's not just like random like they're not finding each other it's not like back porch screen door love well some of it uh good point
Starting point is 00:24:20 bulldogs it could be like cousins yeah well that's because you're forcing them to do it bulldogs and arcansans makes sense that's it uh all right well i hope your cat so your cat kind of has a mate yeah yeah I mean, thankfully she is spayed because she came from a shelter. They don't let them go without being spayed or neutered. So for some reason, the cat manages to get through the screen. That can't happen. But I don't know.
Starting point is 00:24:46 I tried to also feed this cat and it wasn't interested. So I think it belongs to somebody and just goes off and adventures. But I don't know. I don't know what's going to happen with the two of them. But every morning, it's like clockwork. They have like a morning sunrise date. And she scratches at the door. Purebred animals tend to.
Starting point is 00:25:05 get sick more often because of how they're bred. A smaller gene pool. When you breed within a close bloodline, like with many purebred dogs, you're working with a limited set of genes. That means harmful genes don't get diluted out. Genetic diversity stops. The same mutations keep getting passed down.
Starting point is 00:25:24 Think of it as copying the same document over and over. Errors start to stack. Bulldogs and they do bulldogs. My chat does because she knows we have a bulldog. the exaggerations that people pursue become even more exaggerated, like super short snouts. All bulldogs have terrible breathing problems.
Starting point is 00:25:46 It's why they drown. There's no where to keep their head up. Long back, so there's spinal issues. Rinkled skin, so there's always infections. They look cute, but holy crap. I mean, we've put $100,000 in our dog. Oh, my gosh. In Stanley, over his lifetime.
Starting point is 00:26:00 That's crazy. A lot early. A lot, lot early. But yeah, it's, I love him. He's awesome, but that's why I say, I recommend don't get a bulldog. I remember one of my friends who had bulldogs. I called him. I was like, hey, think about taking this bulldog.
Starting point is 00:26:17 He's like, you already taking it? I was like, yeah, kind of goes, okay, well, it's awesome, but I would have recommended you not. You're already doing it, do it, do it, but I'd recommend you not getting a bulldog. There's so much work and so much money because they're just always sick. Eddie, anything? Yeah, yesterday I got home and there was a big old box in my front door. and I'm like, here we go again. Another expense.
Starting point is 00:26:39 Something that my wife clicked on Amazon is at the front door. It ended up being like a table. And so I ask her like, what is this? He's like, oh, I just thought it would be cool if, you know, we had a table for the back. You know, we can have dinners outside because it's warmer now. And I was like, this is such a waste of money. So I was upset all day. But then you know what?
Starting point is 00:26:59 I was like, let's try dinner tonight outside. And we set the table up. We had dinner outside. And it was actually really nice. Yeah, they say like one of the most important things you can do is meals around the table. Well, we do that every day inside. Yeah, but outside. And I was like upset because we had to buy a table to be outside.
Starting point is 00:27:16 But it's another place to gather. And the boys enjoyed it. Like, it was a beautiful night with the fire going. We were eating dinner out there. So I apologized. I said this was a great idea having this table. We have a table right over here. Obviously in the back, we maybe use it once a year.
Starting point is 00:27:32 But one, it fills up some space. Looks pretty good. and it also keeps other stuff from getting put there, right? If it fills up space, it keeps other junk. And then two, like the one time of year we use it, it's always awesome. We don't use it often. Sometimes I'll sit back there with the dogs, but it'll keep crap from being put back wherever it is. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:50 Yeah, but it's one of those plastic tables that folds up. I'm like, where we're going to store this now. So you can't leave that out all the time. It can also be crap that just gets in the way. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But it could be cool. We can have more dinners outside. It should be nice.
Starting point is 00:28:02 All right, there you go. That's what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good It's time for the good news With Bobby Tell me something good This guy named Cory Arnold Took his daughter to the library
Starting point is 00:28:15 And he started putting it up on Instagram as a real He was like hey it's Dad Day at the library With my daughter And like a couple other dads Based on the location that he shared Had seen it in their feed And they were they DM'd him like
Starting point is 00:28:28 Hey this is really cool We want to do this too So now it's basically a bunch of dads going in and reading to a bunch of kids. Oh, wow, I love that. And they take turns with one dad doing it to a bunch of kids and all the dads go together. That's cool.
Starting point is 00:28:40 Yeah, so now it's a dad kid thing at the library in Atlanta. So I thought it's pretty cool. Just getting anybody to read. I saw a story where people that read, though, think they're better than people that don't. Oh, yeah, I read now, and I'm starting to think that.
Starting point is 00:28:52 Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And me being on the other side of it, I'm always just like, oh, they think they're so cool, don't they? The story was people that read a lot of books have a superiority complex and they feel like they're better than people who don't read books. And so that's not part of my telling me something good. I just remember that story and I laughed.
Starting point is 00:29:10 But you feel the backside of that. You feel like people judge you because you don't. No, I'm more of just like, oh, they think they're so cool because they're reading in public. See, I used to feel that way too about readers. But I think what it is is we're just envious. Because Eddie, once you start to read, you'll get it. Because that's what I do now.
Starting point is 00:29:27 Maybe someday when I start to read. Dang, Amy's High Fluton. No, look at her. That library story. from sunny skies. There you go. That's what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good. It's time for the good news. With Amy. Tell me something good. So prisoners in Utah are taking a kindness class.
Starting point is 00:29:46 We need that. We need to do what the prisoners in Utah are doing for this room. So it's offered in partnership through a foundation called One Kind Act a Day. And it just gives them a chance at a better path. Because they speak up, the prisoners speak up saying we want to be better people. We want growth. We want accountability. So the kindness class gives them that. Do you guys want growth or accountability?
Starting point is 00:30:10 No. It encourages them to build empathy. I got that. No, you don't. I don't know if you do. It's where you care what other people are thinking. Nope. About.
Starting point is 00:30:23 About. Yeah, like if Amy's thinking about like how sad she is, you realize she's sad. Okay, you're getting closer. Right. You're dancing with her a little bit. You ain't touching her, but you're dancing with her. Yeah. If I was sad about something, have you ever, could you relate to my sadness?
Starting point is 00:30:41 It's like an understanding of a perspective. I mean, sometimes, like. Like, here, we'll say it this way. Bobby grew up speaking in a prison. What the heck? You grew up in prison? No, what's happening? There's two ways she can go.
Starting point is 00:30:56 My family that was in prison or my life was prison. Yes. Both don't need to be talking about. Tell me something good. I'm saying I can't necessarily empathize with family going to prison because I didn't have that, but you did. Okay. I can sympathize because I know that must have been so hard and I can feel the sadness for you, but I can't empathize because I didn't experience it.
Starting point is 00:31:18 Got it. But I can. You're teaching him, though, not me. You're pointing at me and talking to me. So sympathizes as if you haven't experienced it. No, empathizes. No, he said haven't. Oh, sorry.
Starting point is 00:31:28 If you haven't. Like, Amy went through a divorce, so I sympathize, but I can't empathize. Good, lunchbox. Got it. Yes. We need a class. We need a kindness class. I think we go back to the kindness class.
Starting point is 00:31:42 That's what we need. Yeah, yeah, yeah. All right, good, good, good. There you go. That's what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good.
