Evil, wake up. I'm the one that saw the murder take place by Krivac and DePippo. Anthony DePippo showed no signs of remorse,
Starting point is 00:00:56 appearing unfazed after being sentenced to the maximum. I said, I'm not guilty. I'll take it to the grave. Listen to the devil's quarry in the Bone Valley feed On the Iheart radio app Apple Podcasts Or wherever you get your podcasts All right, listen up
Starting point is 00:01:20 The Jonas Brothers here Our podcast is called Hey Jonas We're here since everyone has a podcast We want it to as well And we've had some incredible guests so far And now our good friend Nile Horn is joining the show How's it going boys? Hey Nile
Starting point is 00:01:30 It was the same thing with Slow Hands Slow Hands is not about anything else really is it You know our taste so good Can't be about food You do the same, Nick, with some of the stuff that you've done. You too, Joe. Drop what you're doing and listen to Hey Jonas on the Iheart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you listen to your podcasts. Last night, a blown call changed a game.
Starting point is 00:01:51 This morning, the internet lost its mind. And nobody's telling you exactly what happened. That's where Sports Slice comes in. I'm Timbo. In every episode, we're cutting through the noise, breaking down the biggest moments in sports and giving you the real story behind the headlines. and we're going straight to the source, the athletes themselves. Their locker room stories, their reactions in the moment, and the stuff nobody gets to hear.
Starting point is 00:02:14 Listen to Sports Slice on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. And for more, follow Timbo Slicalife 12 in the TikTok podcast network on TikTok. It's time for the good news. Mine's going to be a little childish. Okay. But it's good.
Starting point is 00:02:35 Yeah, it's good. Okay. So I mentioned, a couple days ago, that's kind of kicked off the ACM awards this year for a couple of reasons. They said it was competitive reasons. One was that my show is on Netflix
Starting point is 00:02:51 and it was on Amazon. Okay, whatever. The other one was, well, you worked for IHartRadio and we have Amazon music. And I'm like, but you're asking us to advertise for Amazon music. So I feel like there was more to it,
Starting point is 00:03:06 but those are the excuses that they used. So was I a little bitter but a little, but I got it. Business, right? Four agreements. One of the agreements is, don't get offended. Don't get offended by anything happening in business at all. Nothing's personal. Even it's personal, it's not personal.
Starting point is 00:03:24 So it's personal. But I didn't get offended. So I was over because I was watching the series finale of the boys yesterday. And on trending, my special I did for them last year was one of the trending shows. For Amazon? I did a 60th anniversary special for Amazon leading into that last year. And it was one of the trending specials.
Starting point is 00:03:50 So a little bit I was like, hmm, screw you guys. But it's all good. It's not even. A friend didn't know. A little butt hurt, yeah. But if they called me today and said, hey, want to come back? I'm right there. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:04 I'm not going to lie. I'm not stupid. But the fact that I was up there. So I guess people just revisiting the awards, they were able to find it. And they're like, oh, I want to watch this too. They probably typed in ACMs. And that was one of the two things that came up. And it was a picture of either a, I think on the cover of the ACMs this year was maybe Shania or Miranda or the cover of the other one was me.
Starting point is 00:04:26 And I guess they chose me. Oh, look at that. Interesting. Over Shania and Miranda. Hey, life happens, man. But that was my little bit butt hurt, but a little bit funny. So and I put that in my story People thought it was funny that I said I got kicked off
Starting point is 00:04:41 I got kicked off I got kicked off the show There's no ego about that It happens Yeah is that it was called kicked off In my heart it is Okay They didn't kick you off Right
Starting point is 00:04:53 They didn't like if they like made a different I don't know For whatever their reasons work Creative decision Did someone do the little Not little I don't want to use that word Did someone do the backstage stuff
Starting point is 00:05:04 You were doing? I don't know I didn't watch it My butt was hurt So I didn't watch it. And I don't know because I was doing some backstage, but I was doing a lot of in-house stuff too. And the reason they really had me was in case something went wrong. They can just go, hey, we need you to go fill three minutes and give me nothing.
Starting point is 00:05:21 And that's what I had to do a bunch because there were so many technical difficulties. Right. And so when Morgan said, oh, man, the sound was way off. And there were all these problems. It's like, hmm, that's what you get. Hey, that's what you get. Because I'd have been out there crushing it. So that's what's up.
Starting point is 00:05:37 A little butt hurt, but I get over it. It's not the worst butt hurt I've ever been. This ain't tell me something butt hurt, though. No, it's not. But it's good that you saw that people were watching. Well, I got tipped off too. So when I went to watch the Boys, I normally don't look at what's trending
Starting point is 00:05:51 because I feel like that's all set up for the most part. Is it? But I knew this wasn't because there's no way they'd set that up. Okay. That's one. And then I watched the Boys series finale. That show is now over. I do feel like now it's in my top five shows of all time.
Starting point is 00:06:05 And I enjoyed the finale. I'm not going to say anything else about it. I did not know it was a comic book. Mike D. has educated me on back in the day. It was a comic book that did not even do that well as a comic that they made into a show. Is that accurate? It got canceled at one point. So good for like an independent comic, but not like an X-Men or Fantastic Four or anything like that.
Starting point is 00:06:24 Heck of a show. Did you watch it finally? Yes, I did. How did you feel about the ending? I loved it. Okay, good. That's all I'll say. The Internet hates everything, and so the Internet was hating on it.
Starting point is 00:06:34 I thought it was a really great ending and a really great show. Hold on. Did Mike get internet back? No, I asked him last night. I downloaded it here and then watched it. He took it home on his iPad. As soon as I finished it, I text Mike, I was like, do you watch the boys? And he said, I got on my iPad, I downloaded. I got it.
Starting point is 00:06:50 But my Amazon Prime special, Bobby Bones, ACM, 60th Celebration Special, it is up. I'm not even saying watch it, but it's there. It's trending. I'd rather you watch the Netflix stuff. Even if you're not watching it, turn it on, just let it go. Oh, like loop it? Just let it play. That helps tremendously.
Starting point is 00:07:09 So I have a bearer girls on. Hey, the Cheryl Crow stuff kind of blew up. I didn't think that was going to blow up. I didn't think much about it. But also I'm so in those interviews that I don't know sometimes what's clipable. Like, I'm just trying to have a good conversation. And it was even part of that clip we played here. What I didn't catch really was her.
Starting point is 00:07:27 And I think she was doing it strategically. She said, hey, I got cancer. And the guy I was dating wanted to have kids with was like, I'm going to go date somebody fan. famous and dumped me. Yeah. I caught that. Yeah,
Starting point is 00:07:41 I caught it. I didn't catch it at the level that it's been caught by everybody else. Because in my head, I thought, yeah, Lance Armstrong is a douchebag. I got it. I knew that because we talk about that. Yes. But I didn't think much, because we're in the middle of it. And then that got clipped.
Starting point is 00:07:57 I don't pick what gets clipped. And that got clipped. And it's got a million views just on mine. So who was Lance? Who was he? Yeah, who did he date? Thanks for asking. You know, I think it's one of two people.
Starting point is 00:08:12 I think it's either Kate Hudson or one of the Olson twins. Oh my gosh, I forgot he dated an Olson twin. Ew. After Cheryl. How much older was he than them? I don't know, because if it turns out it's like 11 or 12 years, then you got to go ooh to me because that's my wife. Oh, yeah, no, I wouldn't do that. It's got to be way more.
Starting point is 00:08:30 If it's 12, it's not you. But it just seems way more. Let's take a look here. Lance Armstrong. wrong, it's 15 years. He was only 36 when that happened. That's not as bad as I thought, but he was 36 and they were 21. I don't know which one he dated. Yeah, which one did he date? Ashley. Okay. So it's a gap, but not such a gap in Hollywood. Right. Okay, that's not as not as I thought. I guess I just always see them as so young. Little Michelle. Yeah, that would be weird.
Starting point is 00:09:02 But the Cheryl Crowe went blew up. I adore Cheryl Crow. One, she's one of my favorite ten artists of all time. So, like, I just love her music anyway. But two, just as a person, none or very few better. So that's up on Netflix. Let it play, even if you don't want to watch it. Sounds good. We could use it.
Starting point is 00:09:21 Okay, that's mine. Amy? So yesterday I got a text from a friend that I hadn't talked to in forever. And we made plans and we're going to go do something. And it just remind me to kind of go through my phone sometimes. Or I don't know really how to do it. But just being intentional about reaching out because I've thought of this person multiple times over the last year or so. But I just haven't made a move to be like, hey, we should do something. And she's someone I used to work with before I worked in radio.
Starting point is 00:09:51 Like I worked when I was selling granite. She worked there too in tile and we were living in Austin. But then she moved to Nashville to start her own company. And she was so she was in Nashville before I was. And then I took her spot. Like when I came to work for the Bobby Bone Show, that's the position I was leaving was when I had taken her spot.
Starting point is 00:10:12 So we go way back. You know, she's got kids now. She also has been divorced. Like there's just... Trauma bonding you can do. No, but I mean, we've lived a lot of life. Trauma bonding. You can do.
Starting point is 00:10:26 And just thinking of like how much our lives have changed in the last 20 years, because that's how long I've been here. So it was just nice to get a text with nothing, but hey, it's been a million years, like would love to get together. And I'm like, oh my gosh, I'm so glad you reached out because I've thought of you, but I didn't make the move. So I was thankful she did.
Starting point is 00:10:49 That's good. Have you guys said an exact time? No, we don't have an exact time because she says she's kidless. I'm not. So I was like, I need to check in on the kid schedule because now it's going to buy this weekend. It'll officially be summer. So I don't know, like, are we going to be spending the night out with friends? Or friends are going to be spending the night at our house?
Starting point is 00:11:10 Like, what will that look like? And she said maybe we can meet for a drink, but I haven't really been drinking. So maybe we meet for a hike or lunch or... What about like a lichy? Or a coffee. Oh, yeah, yeah, no. Martini. A lichie martini.
Starting point is 00:11:23 Whoa, whoa, no, no. It's called a leachie. And I don't ever want a leachie martini. Those are good, though, I'm told it's called alichie. It is a little, whatever. I was calling a leachie. But a lichie martini. Oh, those were on the cruise.
Starting point is 00:11:36 And they were delicious until they weren't. But how many of those did you drink? 100. I don't know. I had the black card. They were unlimited. Oh, must be nice. I mean, it tasted like candy, so you didn't realize anything was happening until it happened.
Starting point is 00:11:54 Lunchbox was like, I wish I would have gotten sick by drinking. What's funny is Amy's subtle swipe. She's like, yeah, it was a black card knowing just to say nothing else. And that's what's funny is like, oh, you're not. not supposed to be drinking that much, but it's okay. If Amy drinks that much? No, I didn't mean to. No, no, nothing I did impacted listeners in any way. It impacted my body. I got sick when we were departing. Like, that's when I got sick. I'm not saying that, but they were okay going
Starting point is 00:12:20 into it. Like, if Amy wants to drink as much as she wants, she can do that, but lunch, no, can't do that. It's like, I would say probably the levels of drunk you guys get. Amy is like, she wasn't. Mine was an accident. Amy's is also like, he, he, he, and you're just like, Yeah, but you know what the listeners want? They want to hang out with. I don't think anybody wants to hang out with that sloppiness. I think there's a place you get that's pretty good, like a quarter in. When you're sloppy, it's weird and gross.
Starting point is 00:12:49 I don't know. Your sloppy is gross. Ray's sloppy is... It's like... He loses the capacity to think. Oh, so maybe the word is concerning? Well, both, I'm not concerned about either one of them. They've done it so much.
Starting point is 00:13:06 Rays gets really dumb. Lunchbox gets really sloppy. Eddie gets really feminine. That's correct. That's not factual. You got nailed that. No, I don't. But dumb equals fun.
Starting point is 00:13:15 I get real fun. No, Ray's, realize. Well, yeah, feminine and fun, dumb and fun. No. Sloppy one. Hello, I'm fun. It's so sloppy that it's not like you're doing fun things. You're just so drunk, we can't understand you.
Starting point is 00:13:27 But it's still fun to you. No, people, listen, people gravitate towards me. Even when I'm drunk. Like, it is fun. Eddie is a straight chick, though. No, I'm not. I'm just more fun. Mimic it.
Starting point is 00:13:39 Mm. I'd like to get those drink. Oh, you're cute in those pants, John. I like your wows. I never said that in my life. You know, you said, I like your blouse. To Amy, you did. To Amy, I didn't say, I like your pants, John.
Starting point is 00:13:53 Not that we know of. But you were like, I like your blouse. It was a nice blouse. I like your belt, Frank. Never said that. And Ray's last for like 10 minutes. and he passes out. Oh, Ray gets drunk so quick.
Starting point is 00:14:05 He's done by 5 o'clock. He's got the countdown timer as soon as he hits that point. He's out. Okay. Amy, thank you. Eddie? Oh, man. Let's see.
Starting point is 00:14:14 Oh, I'll just do it for my kids because today's their last day of school. And, like, I know they're so excited. And it's not very exciting for parents because summer means like, all right, they're going to be around all day. So we've got to figure out things to do with them. But for them, they're so pumped. And I think today when they get out of school, I want to just like, Play music loud, get the karaoke machine going, and make them feel like summer has officially started.
Starting point is 00:14:38 So I'm pumped for them. Do they all want summer to start? Oh, yeah. Okay. So there's not one of them that, oh, man, I don't get to go to school anymore. No. Do any of them love school? I think to one of them, school is much easier.
Starting point is 00:14:53 To the other three. To one of them, school is really easy. To another one, school is so much fun. Like, they get to hang out with all their friends. Younger? Yeah, yeah. He has a blast at school. The other two, it's hard times.
Starting point is 00:15:08 School's like summer. Thank God summer is here. Is school difficult or is the friend thing difficult? Just school. The school part of it. Yeah. Yeah, they love hanging out. Like, I used to love hanging out.
Starting point is 00:15:19 For me, school was like my time to hang out with my friends. Because, like, I never had friends come over or anything. Wow, wow. But, I mean, it was just like I get to see all my friends all day. Dang, I wish I had friends at school. Why, why? you didn't have friends at school a couple
Starting point is 00:15:34 had Evan oh yeah okay then we lived together in college and moved out when I left the room that's right I did talk hey I did talk to him for the first time he's not on my grudge list
Starting point is 00:15:46 by the way grudge list Evan's not on it we became friends again a long time ago just not super close but he was my best friend all through high school in the first year of college and we were texting last week
Starting point is 00:15:55 he was like hey he had a baby I was like yeah and then I would text and he wouldn't text back for like 30 minutes and I would get like four at once I was like, you okay? He goes, I'm on the lake. Middle of something.
Starting point is 00:16:04 Yeah, middle of, no, middle of lake, the text aren't going through. Oh, that's what order they came. I don't know. He's like a principal. He's kind of killing him. In the moment, it felt like it was going on forever. I didn't think I was going to live.
Starting point is 00:16:52 I was terrified. There was no anything inside those eyes. They turned black. It scared the hell out of me. That was your first murder case? Yes, sir. Fear to say this was the biggest case of your career? Yes, sir.
Starting point is 00:17:10 Rape a murder for a child. Just as bad as it gets. I would think so. Evil, wake up. I'm the one that saw the murder take place by Creveit and DePippo. Anthony DePippo showed no signs of remorse, appearing unfazed after being sentenced to the maximum. I said I'm not guilty.

I've gone through breast cancer and then helped my mother through breast cancer, and that was more difficult. There's a lot of people who understand postpartner depression. I was not prepared for postpartum anxiety. Listen to Joy 101 with Hoda Kotby on the IHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Last night, a blown call changed a game. Listen to Sports Slice on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. Follow Timbo Slic Life 12 and the TikTok podcast network on TikTok. Okay, lunchbox. Yeah, so my oldest son has a July birthday, and so he never gets to celebrate it in school because he's out of school. Well, yesterday his teacher did a birthday party for him to celebrate all the July birthdays. That's fun.
Starting point is 00:19:36 That's really sweet of her. But what's funny is he was the only July birthday, so he just thought it was for him. Whatever. Whatever. That's cool. The class did me a birthday, and he came home so excited. and I guess my wife knew about it because she dropped off brownies so everybody could have a brownie. And so he got to have a birthday party in his class.
Starting point is 00:19:51 That was pretty cool. That's fun. Good for that teacher. Yeah. I wonder if the teacher has a summer birthday or she has a kid. That's a summer birthday because it like you have the awareness. Oh, that's kind of sucks. Yeah, I never had that feeling, man.
Starting point is 00:20:03 I never got to celebrate my birthday in class. Did you care? No, it was just weird how everybody, you know, their parents would bring cupcakes or donuts or whatever. And I never got to. And I was like, man, that's crazy. But now that I realized, I didn't know teachers did that where they celebrate birthdays. They normally don't. Early.
Starting point is 00:20:20 Was that common for parents to bring stuff on your birthday? I don't know. Mine was always on spring break. Oh, see? Was it common to have parents? Oh, man. Okay, I just check out. All right.
Starting point is 00:20:32 Morgan. So I've been wanting to take a flower making class, like making a bouquet, and I finally took one. What happens in a flower making class? So there was an instructor who has like a flower shop and she taught us how they professionally make a bouquet. And apparently there's called the spiral method. And that's how bouquets look really pretty when somebody gives you them. Instead of just like, you know, sticking flowers in a vase, there's like a whole method behind it. And she taught it to us.
Starting point is 00:21:01 Was this just for general knowledge for you or were you doing it because you want to do stuff at your wedding? No, I just have, I love making bouquets. It's become kind of like a creative outlet for me. And so I always wanted to take it just to further. understand how to make them. No, I don't trust myself to make my own for the wedding. That's fun, though. That's a good skill to have.
Starting point is 00:21:22 I don't have it, but... I don't know if that's a good skill to have, but I'm just it's like... It's really cool that you just go and take a class. That is cool. Regardless of what it is, I think that's cool. It might be a skill to have. I never make bouquets. I say, yes, it's cool. She did it. And then also, I think it's a great skill to have, because you can... Like, knowing how to arrange the flowers to make them look good,
Starting point is 00:21:42 it can come in handy whenever you need it around your house or if you're putting something together for a friend or you can help with an event. Like my sister's really good at it and she did the flowers at my wedding. Did you take a class or just natural? No, she's just natural. Wow, that's cool. She's just natural all the things.
Starting point is 00:21:59 So I have that frustration with my wife. She's natural. Yeah. It's just natural. And I'm just like grind in a way of trying to get good at stuff. Or I'm trying to memorize something and it's hard and she can I am not joking. Here it one time, a song, I know every word.
Starting point is 00:22:14 But she has that, it's natural to her. Like, she's the one who can spell words backwards. If you just say something to her, she can go, oh, I just immediately spell it backward because she sees stuff in her head and she just reads it backwards. That's crazy. We all have our good stuff. I just wish that I was better at memorizing. She's also really fast at
Starting point is 00:22:32 reading, and I'm fast at reading, but I think she might be faster than me. I don't know for sure, and I don't want to challenge her because I don't want to lose. That's the only reason I don't really find out. I'm a fast reader. I think she might be faster.
Starting point is 00:22:46 How do you test that? And she's a better athlete. It sucks. What? How do you test reading faster? Like, how would the race go? Would you guys be doing it out loud? No.
Starting point is 00:22:55 Well, how do you trust the other person that they actually read what they said they read? Well, because we're married and we would trust each other. And she has no interest in beating me, so I'd probably do a secret competition just to see how fast she read the book as I read the book roughly around the same time. And I don't know she has even less time than me because. because she has a baby? Yeah. She has the baby all the time. Hey, Ray, tonight's the night for you.
Starting point is 00:23:17 Yeah, that's my good news. It's going to be massive. There's going to be so much stuff going on. I cannot wait. And it's just going to be VIP for me. Nobody else on the show. You hooked it up and preached, dude, seriously. Wait.
Starting point is 00:23:29 Is he going by himself? He's going to Kane Brown's bar opening alone. Solo mission. And I mean, I think that's the way to take it in. That's going to force me to meet people, force me to shake some hands, get my name on list. I'm going to talk. Hey,
Starting point is 00:23:41 What's it cost of sweet next weekend, you know? What's it like to bring five of my boys for VIP? So a lot of handshakes are going to happen. I don't understand. It feels like he's running for office. Yeah. What suites? At Kane Brown's Bar.
Starting point is 00:23:52 I don't know. I didn't know they had sweets. And what do you say? What do you say? Appreciate. Oh. So if someone, like, texts you, P-R-E-S-H, you get that. That means appreciate.
Starting point is 00:24:02 Okay. And also, it looks like tonight would be the night when the artists are going to perform. Kane seems to be on the road. So I'm imagining Kane, Caitlin. maybe Al Dean Wait, if he's on the road, why would he be there tonight? Not tonight. Tonight would be the night he's not on the road. Got it. And then he gets back to the tour schedule tomorrow.
Starting point is 00:24:19 So I think they're going to blow it out. That's typically what they do for the soft opening. They're going to give you the free drinks. They're going to have the apps. It's going to be a lot of that because they want you to make this their number one bar. And I'd say it's top three already. I haven't even been in the front door. And Eddie and Lunchbox are invited to go to tomorrow. Tomorrow's junior box that you opening.
Starting point is 00:24:37 Yeah, day two. That's going to be charged. And also, um... No, it's not. We're not charged. Oh, for sure, because that's the public. No, we're not charged, but I did find out that's when the actual bar opens, so there's nothing special about it. You know, Kane will be there tomorrow. But you'll probably be in a special section.
Starting point is 00:24:54 Yeah. That says we can get in a special line to get in, priority line or something. But, yeah, Kane's not on the road tomorrow, so he'll be there. Well, you guys are going to have longer lines and also... No, no, we have skip the line pass. That's right. I'll be the first person in a bar stool. I'll be the first person on the stage, first person in the door.
Starting point is 00:25:11 You're not getting on the stage. He might. And you won't be the first person in the door. I don't think it'll be the first one there. Done it before. Taco Place, Bakersfield on second. Me and Bayes are first couple to ever eat there. Baker's Field.
Starting point is 00:25:22 So I will be there 7 p.m. I'll be lined up and ready to go. It's an idiot. Okay. Well, I hope you have fun and we'll talk about it tomorrow. Yeah. Hey, I want to grab this call from Nicole, who is here on the phones from Bedford, Indiana. Hey, Nicole.
Starting point is 00:25:40 Hi. You're on. How are you doing? Oh, my God. Morning studio. Morning. Oh, my God. Hi.
Starting point is 00:25:49 I was just listening to yesterday's part two when you all were talking about the Super Bowl coming to Nashville and how the halftime show should be country music. Lunch wasn't sure if Jay Lowe's lived in Miami and Mike D knew instantly that it was. And I've just been thinking about how he knows everything. It's like he reads your mind and knows what you're going to discuss. so somehow he has the answers ready. It's just wild. Mike D.
Starting point is 00:26:16 would you like to respond to that? I'm a very past Googler. That's it. That's true. He does Google really fast. Yeah. Yeah, and I think he's Googling along. And I think he also knows when I'll get confused by stuff.
Starting point is 00:26:28 But it's not only that. Like, he knows what to put in Google. Yeah, see, I'm terrible at Google. Me, I would be like, all right, Super Bowl, J. Lowe played in what city? And that would have worked, but that took you an hour. That would take me forever. Yeah. He knows exactly what to do.
Starting point is 00:26:43 Or if ever you guys are talking about a celebrity, I'm like, I bet they're going to ask how old he is. So I just Google it and have it ready. Stuff like that. That's cool. But I'm glad you acknowledge that because Mike is always on it. Yeah, he's amazing. He is someone who is irreplaceable for sure. Probably higher insurance premium.
Starting point is 00:27:01 Look at that, Mike. Probably. Geez, man. No, I get someone else in your click. Nicole, I really appreciate the call. I hope you have a great day. Can I give a quick shout out? Get it.
Starting point is 00:27:13 So my daughter, Daisy, turned one on Monday. She won't understand what this is, but I just want to say, happy birthday, Daisy. I love you. Happy birthday, Daisy. So cute. Yeah, tell her to go listen to the Tell Me Something Good podcast, and she will hear us say, happy birthday Daisy on it.
Starting point is 00:27:28 Okay, Nicole, thank you. I will. Have a great weekend. Thank you. Bye. That's it. That's all. Maybe you should give Daisy a little, you know, one of your baby things that you do.
Starting point is 00:27:39 Like, oh, in the jungle. The daisy. That's for Daisy. That's for Billy. That's for Billy. It's special. It's not special. You forgive a Daisy version of something like.
Starting point is 00:27:49 Okay. Daisy, you're like a flower to me. Daisy, I smell you, but there was a tree. It fell on me while smelling a flower, and now I'm in heaven. Daisy. Okay. I'm sure that I'll put her right to say. Is that what you wanted, Amy?
Starting point is 00:28:11 I don't know. I just thought it would be Daisy could have something to listen to before bedtime. There you go. That's what it's all about. It's time for the good news. With Amy. Tell me something good. Triplit brothers in Florida are graduating high school as co-valedictorians because they have identical GPAs.
Starting point is 00:28:33 All three of them. Aiden, Brody, and Colin, shout out. You know what's crazy? There's not like the loser one. Right. You would expect there to be. Yeah. That would be difficult.
Starting point is 00:28:41 Expect to be a loser one of the three. How are they all smart? Like all three of them? Well, they're identical. Yeah, but still you get a loser one. Just with normal, you know, if you got three people, it's a loser one, you know? Maybe one of them just doesn't have the motivation, right? Like, maybe they're all smart, but one of them just doesn't want to be smart.
Starting point is 00:28:58 Yeah, and no surprise here, all three of them are preparing to attend MIT. Wow. So they're going to continue. I wonder which one ends up being the loser one. Because for sure, one of them is going to kill somebody and be in jail, right? You're stuck on that? Yeah, yeah. It's a numbers game.
Starting point is 00:29:12 They seem cool, too. Like, they, over the years in school, they would do April Fool's jokes on their teachers and switch classes and they're all about the same height, too. That's fun. Like Ray and his twin brother? Not the same height. He said, how much taller than you, Ray? He's got me probably by five inches. Geez.
Starting point is 00:29:31 Yeah, like, Ray wouldn't be able to trick one of his teachers. Like, hey, I'm... They try that. Ray, are both of you guys really smart? Like, same level? No, we were both middle. But same level. But same level.
Starting point is 00:29:43 I was maybe a little smarter than him. Of course. He was in the twos. I was probably 3.2. Triplets. I also think about all those babies coming out. Oh, yeah. And caring for them at once.
Starting point is 00:29:54 Yeah, yeah. And probably C-section. Probably. Probably. Yeah. But then you got to do three of those bottles and three of those diapers. You need a whole team. And they're all pooping and peeing at different times.
Starting point is 00:30:05 It just never stops. I mean, I got one. It never stops. Imagine three. And then the whole time they're going up, you're like, one of them's going to be a loser. We're just waiting for it. But they're not. These three are good.
Starting point is 00:30:17 That's awesome. I agree. It's like the Manning. Now, they're not twins, but the Manning brothers, didn't two of them play football and the other guy like sells insurance? He got hurt, though. He was a really great athlete, too. He was good. Maybe possibly the best of the three.
Starting point is 00:30:30 Oh, that hurts. Yeah. Yeah. So he wasn't not a good athlete. He was injured pretty severely. Which would you rather just have never been good? So that way you know from the get-go. oh, hey, I'm just not as talented,
Starting point is 00:30:42 or to know you're the most talented and you got hurt. That one. By far, not even a question. That way you can just. Also, you have, like, experience and you're just not the bad brother. You're the one that could have made it too, but you were hurt. I was looking at their names too because you said their names. And I was like, oh, cool.
Starting point is 00:30:57 They didn't name them like all the same letter. But they did name them Aiden, Aden, Brody, and Colin, so they did ABC. Oh, my God. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. That's cool. Yeah, good story. All right, good. Congratulations to them.
Starting point is 00:31:07 All seriousness, the best thing about this is none of them are a little. loser. All right, that's what it's all about. It's time for the good news. With Bobby. Tell me something good. A police officer from England is in America on vacation. So he's in Nashville and he's just chilling. He's not doing police officer work, but he's driving down the road and he sees a police officer,
Starting point is 00:31:32 and an American police officer struggling with somebody on the side of the road. So he's like, I'm a cop. He pulls over to help him. And so he has like a rented Jeep Wrangler. and he sees them struggling, he's like, screw it. So he goes and he tackles the suspect because he's fighting with the real cop. Also, that real cop had to be like, what's happening right now? Like, I'm thankful.
Starting point is 00:31:52 It wasn't like he was dressed in. Who is this guy? Yeah, it wasn't like a police officer outfit. And if it was, it was like a British one. So you're like, what's Mary Poppins doing here? I didn't know if you announce yourself like. Blanky police officers here. So, yeah, so he holds him down.
Starting point is 00:32:09 He wrestles him to the grand. The other police officer then pulls out his taser, tasers him, handcuffs him. They're still fighting with each other. The suspect pinned that other officer down for about six minutes beforehand. It managed to fire around from the officer's holstered weapon during the struggle before that other cop got there. Body camera footage shows this British police officer named Taylor Johansen coming in and saving the day, which is crazy. That's not vacation. That's work.
Starting point is 00:32:43 Yeah, he's back to work. Yeah. So I just think it's crazy. You're driving down the road and you see a cop struggling and you're like, I'm a cop. I'm going to jump in. And in England, they don't even have guns. They do like warm kisses and hugs. Don't they have like a whistle or something?
Starting point is 00:32:54 Like I see them in the movies. Stop. It's a crossing guard. What do they? They have a baton, right? Yeah, I think they have batons. Yeah, they do. They have sticks.
Starting point is 00:33:04 They have a standard non-lethal defensive tool. They have spray. Oh, do they have tasers? They have a collapsible baton. They, if trained, they have a type of taser. And they have speed cuffs, rigid, quick to apply handcuffs. Big shout out to this police officer jumping in. That's from Talker News.
