Hey, I'm Dr. Maya Shunker, a cognitive scientist and hosts of the podcast, a slight change of plans,
a show about who we are and who we become when life makes other plans.
I wish that I hadn't resisted for so long the need to change.
We have to be willing to live with a kind of uncertainty that none of us likes.
You can have opinions.
You can have like a strong step.
dance. And then there's your body having its own program.
Listen to a slight change of plans on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your
podcasts. On a recent episode of the podcast, Money and Wealth with John Hobriant, I sit down with
Tiffany the budgetista Aliche to talk about what it really takes to take control of your money.
What would that look like in our families if everyone was able to pass on wealth to the people
when they're no longer here?
We break down budgeting, financial discipline, and how to build real wealth, starting with the mindset shifts.
Too many of us were never, ever taught.
If you've ever felt you didn't get the memo on money, this conversation is for you to hear more.

So I'm Leanne.
Yeah.
This is my best friend, Janet.
Hey.
And we have been joined at the hips since high school.
Absolutely.
A redacted amount of years later, we're still joined at the hip.
Just a little bit bigger hips.
This is a podcast.
We're recording it as we tailgate our youth soccer games in the back of my Honda Odyssey.
With all the snacks and drinks.
Why did you get hard seltzer instead of beer?
Oh, they hit a bogo.
Well, then you got them.

Earners, what's up?
Look, money is something we all deal with,
but financial literacy is what helps turn income into real wealth.
On each episode of the podcast, Earn Your Leisure,
we break down the conversations you need to understand money,
investing, and entrepreneurship.
From stocks and real estate to credit, business,
and generational wealth,
our goal is simple.
Make financial literacy accessible for everyone.
Because when you understand the system,
you can start to build within it.

It's time for the good news.
Tell me something good.
I'll go first.
Last night I watched the finale of Season 2 of Paradise.
This is a great show.
I think it's the best show on TV.
That's all.
I don't want to say much more because it's over for season 2.
I can give you some double up.
Uh-uh.
Good news is they've already renewed for three
and they've already written season 3
because I saw a picture of all the writers.
They were on a bus or an airplane or something
and they were like, we just finished season 3,
writing it. I love the show. And a lot of times when you hear a show has been renewed and then there's
a finale, you're like, I don't know, is it a finale good or do they just kick the can to the next season?
Because sometimes they don't really give you enough. I feel like this gave you enough and also
opened up doors for another season. But that show now, it's in dangerous territory.
Because this is where shows either get real bad because they go chasing something weird or they get really good.
I love it, Paradise. It's an excellent show. Did you watch finale? Do you like it?
Yeah, exactly what you said.
It kind of reminds me of lost of like, okay, it's going to reach a point where it could go so far to like, oh, I don't even know what they're doing anymore or it gets so much better.
I love Sterling K. Brown.
And he's great.
This show is made for him because he gets to be like soft and warm and a dad and real likable, but he also played a Secret Service guy and so he can do the kick butt stuff.
It's all the elements.
He's ripped.
It's like a superhero.
Yeah, it's awesome in it.
But it's not a fake superhero because as he's doing stuff that's crazy, you're like, dang, he's good with that gun.
Then you remember, he's a secret service.
agent. That makes sense. So finale was last night. That's my telling me something good and new season and it's
already written. So there you go. Amy, you? It's just a shout out to someone in our company named Sandy.
I don't know, Sandy. Yeah. Well, if you ever have any questions about anything regarding your paycheck,
I now have a direct line to Sandy, so hit me up. I can give you her number. Really? You call her. She knows
everything. What happened with your paycheck? Well, sometimes, you know, it's just a little confusing. Have you
ever felt that way? Yeah, because
they don't always list everything out
and there's just like a clump
that's $417 in there
and you're like, I wonder what this is from.
Yeah, like literally, for what?
Sometimes the salesperson will be like, did you get paid for that?
I'm like, I don't know. You tell me.
Because it's not itemized. There's no
breakdown. And Sandy, she said
she's been with the company 10 years and that's one of
her big things with talent that
has been a struggle because
nothing is broken down. However,
she holds the key, guys. And now
I have her number.
And you never know when you've emailed with someone what their phone tone is going to be.
Like, am I going to get Sandy on the line and she's going to sound annoyed?
No, Sandy's fabulous.
Nice.
Good shout out for Sandy.
So hit me up.
I have her number if y'all need anything.
And now I feel better.
She's sending me a breakdown of something I had a question about.
I've had the incident to where they had to take money back from a check.
That sucks.
Not cool.
Like $3,000 or something.
She did say, you know, if you feel comfortable.
confused by your check, imagine Bobby's.
She didn't say that.
She said that?
What in the world?
What in the world?
What in the world?
Way to rub it in our face.
Like, that is so wrong.
Like, hey, you have money.
You got a lot of money coming out.
That's funny.
It wasn't that she was referring.
She was just like all the different ways you get paid because there's a lot of different
moving parts and things happening within the company.
And so she's like, trust me, I get it.
And if you think yours is bad, just, imagine Bobby.
Yeah.
a mess. Just because I do different things for the company, so it comes in through different avenues.
It's so much. If it was just about so much, it would just be a single dump.
No, it wasn't. It's national local spots. It's podcast. It's podcast spots. Yeah, she brought it.
Appearances. It's video content, all this stuff. I agree. Oh, no, look, I'm not going to lie.
It's a lot. But it's, it just comes in through different roads. And listen, Sandy is in the no.
Yes, Sandy. It almost felt a little unlike things.
Not about anybody.
Am's like, how much he makes?
No, I don't want to know.
Probably better that way.
Oh, yeah, I see Sandy's profile.
On what?
Oh, see, I don't know what she looks like.
Don't tell me because I already have a picture of my mind.
You know what you think she looks like.
No, I don't, Sandy.
She's like, brown hair.
She has sandy blonde hair.
Brown hair.
She has sandy blonde hair.
Very kind eyes.
Where is she out of?
Do you know?
No clue.
I'm going to guess.
I thought San Antonio maybe, but her cell phone is up east.
Oh, so she's probably from New York then.
But I would say Atlanta, if I were just guessing.
From what I can see, she's out of Phoenix.
Oh, okay.
I don't know why.
What are you on?
Like Facebook?
I typed in Sandy, Iheart Media.
Well, she works for Premier technically.
Yeah, and you can also.
But she's a CPA.
Oh, yeah, that's true.
So I assume that's who it is.
Lunchbox, do you have anything?
Tell me something good.
Oh, yeah, I got to tell me something good, man.
I'm finally caught up on Survivor.
Let me tell you.
Survivor Season 50.
Is it good?
It's really good because they're all great players.
So you don't have any duds.
It's not like some seasons you just get people cashed and you're like, they suck.
They don't need to be there.
They're going to be gone quick.
Are they famous players?
Are they just good new players?
They're from previous seasons.
Yeah, they're all from previous seasons.
Oh, they are.
Got it.
And so you already know them because you've watched all the seasons.
So you already have a connection to them.
And then when someone gets voted out, you're like, oh, no, I wanted that person to win.
But it's like that with everyone.
because you like most of them.
And so we had missed a couple weeks
because I was on the cruise ship, then this, then life.
And so finally, yesterday,
we watched the double elimination episode
and we are now caught up.
Have you seen every episode of every season?
No, because I didn't watch the first 10 seasons.
You have to go back.
I probably should.
But I started like season 10
when Tom, the firefighter.
He was a firefighter and he had a machete
and there was a shark swimming near the shore
and whack got it with the machete
and I was like, I'm all in.
Yeah.
Don't you know who won like on those early seasons?
I know who won season one
but I don't know like two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine.
My light OCD and me,
I've seen most of it if I were him
would want to go and just, you know how I do with my marker.
Black out of everything.
I'd want to make sure everything was completed.
That does bother you?
I mean, a little bit,
but the game has changed so much.
because like back then they didn't have hidden immunity idols.
Now they do where you can guarantee your safety.
And I was told the first season, there was no strategy that people were just like.
Nobody knew the game.
Right.
We'll just vote you off because alphabetically and whatever your last name was.
That's how they voted them off in the beginning.
Yeah, nobody could have watched the show because it was season one.
It also wasn't a show in other countries.
There also wasn't social media.
It was just we're going to stick these people on an island or in the desert or wherever.
I think it was an island.
Yeah, island.
What's the best competition show now?
Period.
I still think Survivor's amazing.
People say Beast games.
My answer was going to be Beast Games.
But I've never, I've not watched it.
Beast games is a bit, it's much more elevated.
But sometimes it's like stuff that we do, like stupid stuff, but also fun.
But they bring in celebrities.
I like beast games because I think we're, we naturally like something that everybody can
kind of do.
Yeah.
But then put a whole lot of money there and add a celebrity.
And then that's fun.
And it tempts you because I mean, I saw the one clip online.
where it's like this guy has a team and they're down and they're depending on him to whatever.
The million dollars?
Yeah.
And the guy said and Mr. B says,
I will give you one million dollars right now to eliminate your team.
And he rang that buzzers and get him out of here.
Like I'm like that is the kind of game.
That seems fun.
I just have never watched it.
Do you think if you want on Survivor, you'd be a villain or you'd be one of the good guys?
I think that's a good question.
Thank you.
That's a great.
I mean, you don't want to be the villain because then everybody hates you.
so you have to play like you're the nice guy.
But behind the scenes, you've got to be digging knives into backs or else you can't win.
So fake.
But don't they...
Yeah, you got to be fake.
So like a sneaky villain.
Don't they still make you the villain, but nobody else just knows you the villain.
Like the viewer sees all the sneaky.
Yeah, I'd rather be the, I'll be the villain on TV.
That's fine.
But the people in my tribe are going to think I'm Mr.
Hey, how are you doing?
Are you feeling okay?
I don't think you guys.
Nico Jackson is like it doesn't?
That's funny.
Yeah, Nico Jackson talks like this.
Tell me something good, Eddie.
Man, yesterday was crazy.
So my wife calls me and says, hey, you need to pick up the boys at three.
And so I was already at work.
I'm like, well, you know what?
I'll just stay at work and I'll do my work here.
And then I'll just go straight to the school and pick them up.
So I was going to go get lunch downstairs.
Guys, I forgot my wallet.
I don't have my wallet.
And I'm like, what do I do?
I got to eat.
I didn't realize that on my phone, I don't have Apple Pay.
I know what you're thinking.
Okay, okay.
But on my phone, I had signed up for this Venmo debit card thing.
So I was like, I got to eat.
And it's going to make me sound old, but it was cool to think like, just because I forgot my wallet, it doesn't mean I can't eat.
So you scan it like you do Apple Pay, like you just scan your phone and it attaches to the Venmo.
Yeah.
Yeah. It's like I would tap my credit card.
I just tap my phone.
Yeah.
So you don't actually need the card.
No.
It's on my phone, which I know you guys use Apple Pay.
I've never used Apple Pay before, but I'm changed.
I don't use Apple Pay on the regular, but there have been times where I forgot my wallet that I'm like, oh, I'll just use Apple Pay.
That's where I, or not even Apple Pay, like I have my credit card as well in my phone and my wallet because you can put your credit cards.
Obviously, if you pay for stuff, do you pay for something with your phone, double click?
Never. That's the first time I've ever done.
You never ordered anything?
You don't double click on your phone to buy stuff from it?
No, and that's what this thing asked me to do because I was like scanning it on the credit card machine.
They're like, no double click.
I'm like, and it paid.
Okay, we weren't going to make fun of you for the thing you said, but maybe a little bit that you don't have your credit cards into your phone that you can buy stuff with.
Well, yeah, he doesn't have ApplePay.
Wait, hold on.
That's what Apple Pay is.
So what is Apple Pay is?
But you put your credit cards into Apple Pay.
Yes, yes, yes.
Oh.
Yeah, I'm not talking about Apple Cash.
Yeah.
Or, like, if I put them into my wallet,
sometimes the credit card will come up and I just pay it straight, which is.
Oh, I thought having it in.
You have your credit card?
Yeah, two.
One debit card, one credit card.
Well, explain.
I think they think, like, do you understand when he says wallet?
It's a digital wallet.
It's not like a wallet.
No, no, I know what a wallet is because I put my airline ticket in there whenever I'm going to
to board a plane.
It's the same wallet.
It's the same wallet.
The only thing I have in there is my airline tickets.
But hold on.
I can get my credit card.
Look, here's my Recon Express up here now.
And so this is not officially Apple Pay because Apple Pay is through your phone.
But this is, it's in my wallet.
And so beep it.
Oh, well, that's what I do.
You don't pull out your wallet and grab your credit card?
No, no, I do most times.
But if I don't have my wallet, I easily can just do it from my phone.
Because I'm with you.
If I didn't have my wallet, I couldn't pay for anything.
Guys, I went around the office asking people, hey, can I borrow $10?
Like, I forgot my wallet.
I mean, that's okay.
You learn so.
I think I only learned mine through having to figure it out, oh, God, I don't have my wallet.
Yeah.
And then Caitlin's like, hey, dummy.
You have, you basically have your wallet on your phone.
Just use that.
I am doing that today.
I'm getting my credit card on my phone.
But, like, look, have that, I have a Regents debit card.
I don't have, I don't keep Apple Cash.
But you could have Apple Cash, right?
What is that?
And that's like a debit card.
But you can get a card.
Apple Cash is like Venmo.
Yeah.
Because you can pay people through, like if someone can request.
like Venmo, hey, Venmo me 50 bucks.
Like you can do the same transfer through Apple Cash.
You can send it through text instead of like, you know,
Venmo, like if I Venmo you money, it comes through the app.
I could, you have your phone on you?
I have to do Venmo though.
I'm locked out of Apple Cash.
Hold on.
Are you going to send me money?
Yeah, but.
Love it.
Look, so if you hit the little plus sign on the text message, right?
So Apple Cash is an option.
What?
Okay, send me five bucks.
So watch.
I will.
Why would you say five?
Say a hundred.
So watch.
Two, three, four, five.
Send me five bucks, guys.
And then I'm going to do send me five.
and so it's going to put it in the text.
So as soon as I send this text, it looks like a gift card in the text.
Yeah.
As soon as I send it, then I do.
It's going to be for my debit card.
Oh, so you select which card you want it to come from.
Because I don't have Apple Cash.
If I had Apple Cash, I could do it straight from there as well.
Okay, hit submit.
Okay, you just want the five bucks.
I get the joke, but I'm just showing you.
I got a question.
Hold on.
So now I sent it.
Okay.
So I want to see what it does since you don't have that set up.
Got nothing so far.
Okay.
I was going to say,
I know because how does that be really give it?
Okay, Bobby sent you $5 with Apple Cash.
I open it up, it's loading, and I get the same picture you have, so what do I do?
Click on it.
Push it.
It says set up Apple Cash.
Now you have five bucks.
Now this may be a good reason to set up.
Because I have $5.
And you can pay in Apple Cash for stuff too.
I feel like that's how they get you.
Eddie, try sending that to me, see if it's forward.
I copy and paste it.
What do you mean get you?
I just feel like once all that stuff's on my phone, you get hacked.
That's where the hacking comes.
It's not where the hacking comes from, but where they get you is it's so easy to use that it's a lot easier to pull the trigger to buy stuff, right?
Oh, yeah.
I mean, if something has an option, like if I'm looking at a shirt that I clicked on, like somebody posted a link to a shirt and I click on it and then an option is through that store is Apple pay.
It's so easy.
If not, if I have to go get my credit card out and enter in anything, the odds of me buying the shirt have gone down significantly.
I am super happy, though.
80% of the time because that does happen with Amy says where I'm like, oh man, I was just in the moment.
But most of the time, I want it. And I don't want to have to go get my card to load in the number again every time.
I'm just grateful that it's there. So it's like, boopoo. They all work together. It is if Apple does it.
But I guess my Apple pay in my head is literal the Apple money, the cash that goes on.
Yeah. But the wallet, I guess if it's in the wallet, it's still considered Apple pay.
I just love that. You should put your card in, though, for safety reasons.
Yes, I do like that. And I love the fact that we don't have to worry about our wallets anymore.
are real actual wallets.
Well, you do.
Can you put your driver's license in your digital wallet?
That would be legit.
But you just talked about getting scammed and that's even more.
You're right. You're right. Let's not do that then.
No, I don't think so.
I don't think, I could be wrong about that.
Like if you get pulled over by the police, can you just show them a picture of your license?
You can?
No, but yes.
You're not supposed to.
But you can.
But you can.
I guess it depends on the officer.
Yes, yeah.
And what you've done.
and some states you can put in your they do have like it's not Apple but you can keep your
it's like official identification in your phone got it some state it's not like insurance and stuff
it's not federal um let's see participating states Arizona California what else do you need
insurance Colorado Georgia Hawaii registration Iowa Maryland Mississippi Missouri New York oh you can take
pictures of that I do all the time it's in my phone yeah insurance too my insurance card in my
phone yeah you can have insurance because uh when I got my wreck my wife went online and
showed me where I could get it and she sent me a text and they said oh that's perfect hey so we don't
have it here but you are able to with Apple and some of those states put it into your wallet app that's
cool I know you could save it on your phone I didn't it was with Apple but yeah not here so do you have
if you have Apple pay right so if you use your computer and you go to whatever website and you
need your credit card number does it just pull up too yeah but you all you have to know your
on some of those you have to know your CVV code yeah and so
So, as long as you know that, you're good.
Do you know what my wife knows is our credit card number?
I know my credit card number.
That's not good.
I memorize them all.
That means all mine.
That's what that means.
No, it's very impressive that you have that.
Like, I don't even know my driver's license number.
No chance.
And I've had that since I was 16.
No, you got a new one.
There are certain ways that I don't know how to get to work or anything.
Like driving.
When you came to Tennessee, you get a new number.
Hold up for a second.
You guys are having a conversation.
Everybody's having a conversation.
Let's all chill out here.
Yeah.
Anyway, good for her.
She should know that.
You know your social security number?
Yes, that I do.
That I do.
We just got Billy's Social Security card.
Do I need to memorize her card?
No.
No, I don't know my kids.
No, I said, do I need to?
No.
I didn't say, do you guys?
I don't think so.
I don't know.
I don't know if it ever came into play.
I mean, as long as you have it.
Yeah.
It's weird.
It comes on paper.
I know, and that paper's so important.
You can't lose that piece of paper.
But also take a photo of it.
Yeah.
Laminate it.
Laminate it.
Take a photo.
in the freezer. Can you laminate it? Is that illegal?
I don't know.
I'm like, I just keep mine in a Ziploc back.
Is it like cutting the tag off a mattress, cop show up immediately?
Maybe.
Okay.
Time's so good.
Eddie did hit.
Yeah.
It's a good one.

Hello, gorgeous, it's Lala Kent, host of Untraditionally Lala.
My days of filling up cups at sir may be over, but I'm still loving life in the valley.
Life on the other side of the hill is giving grown-up vibes,

You don't feel bad that you told me I was a bootleg housewife?
I almost flipped a pizza in your lap.
Oh my God, I literally forgot about that until just now.

And just when I said that, my mom comes out of the kitchen.
She says, I have some cookies and milk.
This is a badass convict.
Right.
Just finished fire.
I'm going to have cookies and milk at them all.
Yeah.

I'm Dr. Maya Shunker, a cognitive scientist and hosts of the podcast, a slight change of plans,
a show about who we are and who we become.
makes other plans. We share stories and scientific insights to help us all better navigate these
periods of turbulence and transformation. There is one finding that is consistent, and that is that
our resilience rests on our relationships. I wish that I hadn't resisted for so long the need to
change. We have to be willing to live with a kind of uncertainty that none of us likes.

Morgan, you have one?
Well, Bobby, you might feel this way, but whenever you finally get a really good recipe,
if you have dietary restrictions, it's like a huge moment.
And this happened for me last night.
I put together two different really good recipes that were vegan, gluten-free,
and I'm obsessed with them.
And it was so happy.
Like, it changed my whole day because I was able to get these recipes.
If with me, obviously, I've talked about it so much, but I can't have dairy
there's dairy and everything, even butter, like a little bit of butter, is dairy.
It makes me sick.
Not emotional, I mean, it doesn't make me sick, but it also makes me literally physically ill.
But it's so hard to find stuff that tastes good that doesn't have dairy.
If you find something, it's like the person, the friend that made a cake.
Like, I was so grateful that she spent the time to make me a cake.
And it tastes good.
It was olive oil cake.
There was no dairy.
She purposely did that.
Like a text, I was like, I'm so grateful.
I'm so grateful.
And she was like, hey, bro, I just made you a cake.
Yeah, it's awesome.
If you find something that's good.
Yeah, and it's like so rewarding, I feel like when I do finally get one.
Last night was a taco casserole.
And then I made these like Snickers, peanut butter bars.
And now I just want to eat them all the time.
Hey, that sounds good.
Your eye getting better?
Yes.
I didn't have to tell me something good.
I brought, because in case you had your word glasses and Morgan has her weird glasses, I brought it.
I have mine.
Well, I brought these and so you didn't feel stupid.
Oh, thank you.
Those are cool, man.
Yeah.
Prescription.
Even cooler.
I had that on standby.
If, you know, if Sandy, but Sandy worked out.
So she was my telling me something good.
But I still have a huge bump.
I don't know.
What happens with the bump?
It slowly goes away.
Okay.
Someone said it was going to pop and I was nervous.
I don't want it to pop.
That would be gross.
I don't know.
But it's...
I've had styes.
I don't think mine got to the size of popping.
Mine now when I blink, I don't feel it.
That's a huge blessing because...
That's good.
Well, Kenny, Chesney said it best.
Don't blink.
Yeah, that's right.
But it's getting better.
It is. I feel a little, like it's a little smaller than the other eye, but that's okay.
Have you used sty eyedrops? I got some sty cream. There's sty eyedrops and they are awesome.
They make it go away quickly. Well, shoot, wish I would have bought that a few days ago.
I do. My patch worked great. I don't know what it's called, but just if you have a sty just on Amazon, I just typed in sty patch because so many people were DMing me, you need to get the patch that you put in the microwave.
and it's just this one patch you put it in the microwave for 15 seconds.
Don't do longer because I did that and then I burnt the top of my skin up here by my eyebrow.
You burnt your face with a microwave patch.
Well, it was red for hours because I think it's just a little, it wasn't burnt, burnt,
but just too hot to where it left a red mark above my eyebrow for a while.
And I thought, oh, great.
I'm glad it's going better, though.
But yeah, the patch was legit and apparently, I mean, I guess I could still go get the drops
because I still have this die technically.
I'm going to find out today speaking of eye drops if Stanley has to have surgery on his eye
because Dr. Josie comes over today
to look at him again.
I've been eye dropping him four times a day.
He's to the point, I think I said this,
where he's just like, yeah, F it, put it in my eye, I don't care.
At first he fought it, like, oh, D.
And then he kind of fought it a little bit,
and now it happens so much.
He's just like, yeah, I get it up with it.
Yeah, we made the joke.
He like opens it up.
So today I'll find out Dr. Josie would be over
and hope to God.
He doesn't have to have surgery.
The dogs, I just kind of feel bad for him.
They're not getting the attention they're used to getting.
It happens.
Even Stanley, like I'll walk through,
and I try to take them out a couple times a day and throw the ball and stuff just so they are like, hey, I'm still here.
And Stanley will take his paw and hit me in the leg with it. Like, hey.
Yeah. He feels it especially.
Eller, she can go in the woods for the most part to be fine.
There you go. Tell me something good.

Shout out to Ashley Anderson in Tallahassee, Florida.
She's a clinical social worker.
and she took in one girl into her home as a foster mom.
Then she realized this girl had a sister.
She took in that sibling to make sure they could stay together.
Well, then there's a third.
So she takes in the third all with the intention of keeping the girls
till they can be reunited with their family.
Well, then they're at court and the judge says reunification is not possible.
So that means...
What do you mean? So if they split them up, they can't get them back together?
It just means these girls, they're not.
they're not going to go back to their family.
So whatever the family needed to do for the judge to say, okay, reunification is now possible,
they're like, yeah, it's just not going to happen.
So yeah, there's potential now that these three sisters could get split up.
Ashley Anderson is single.
She obviously being a social worker, she's close to these types of children, but it never
taken them in this way.
So now she's officially adopted them.
That's great.
Because she did not want to see them split up.
and all three girls, their names start with an A, and then her name starts with the A, so they call themselves the A team.
That's cool.
I mean, a similar situation happened with Eddie where they were fostering a child.
Yeah, we got one, and then they told us a couple weeks later that there was another one that they needed, and that's where I was like, oh, can't take them.
A brother, right?
Yeah, it's a brother.
And I was like, that's two kids in a matter of two weeks.
Like, I don't know if we can do this.
But, you know, fast forward, we've adopted them.
And it's pretty amazing to what Amy's saying.
When you keep them together, those siblings like that, there is a special connection that they have.
Even though my biological kids had a connection with the one child that we had and they treat them like brothers.
But the two real biological brothers have this protection over each other that where I think all the time, like, I'm so glad that they have each other in their life.
And if they would have been split, who knows what would have happened.
Good story. Good story. That's what it's all about.

Officer Jerry Padilla was sitting at a red light
In Aurora, Colorado
When all of a sudden the car behind him starts
Hawk, Hawk, Hulk! Hawk!
He's like, what in the world? It gets out of his patrol car
And she goes, my baby's not breathing!
And officer says, here, give me that baby, chest compressions,
boom, boom, boom, nothing. Backslaps.
Bam, bam, bam, bam,
saying breathe baby breathe
He did it for five minutes
Got the baby to breathe again
That five minutes feels like it's got to be an eternity
Aside from his comedic
There was no comedic
No you telling it was funny
Breathe baby breathe
It says in the story
He kept saying encouraging the baby to breathe
Why he was doing it
I'm watching the video
He said breathe baby breathe
It's on body cam and he is just slap in the back
And he's saying breathe baby breathe if you have the audio up
But yours is like a song
Breathe.
Breathe.
Breathe.
Yeah, that's awesome.
What's his name again?
Is Officer Jerry Padilla.
Andy's from Colorado?
Aurora, Colorado.
I mean, just think about that.
You're sitting at a red light and it's red.
And the car behind you starts honking,
you're like, well, who is this idiot?
Who's honking at a cop?
Exactly.
Do they not know they're honking at a cop?
I'm about to take them in.
All right, great story.
That is what it's all about.
