Starting point is 00:01:50 I'm Ryan Weiss. And for the past 15 years, I've been an emotional intelligence coach and a spiritual guide. And I'm sharing with you my new podcast, waking up with three. Ryan. Waking Up with Ryan is a daily audio video podcast here to help you connect with yourself before the noise of the day takes over. So let's start our days together with a moment of calm that's just for you. Listen to Waking Up with Ryan on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. It's time for the good news. Tell me something good. I think mine's going to be at a pretty good active day yesterday. God
Starting point is 00:02:29 Spent a little time with the baby Went to therapy yesterday Then I played pickleball for an hour and a half or so And then my ankle, I just don't even think about it Unless I think about thinking about it And so I think I'm back for my injury I used to think three times there But I have to layer it like that
Starting point is 00:02:46 And I don't want to jinx it But I had ankle surgery in November Doctor said it'd be six months or so Before I felt fully comfortable I think I'm back I might be ready to get into tournament I'm not good enough yet Because I've lost six months of training time
Starting point is 00:02:59 Yeah. And also deterioration of my body just with aging and gravity and how gravity pushes our bodies down as we get older. So did that. So you are going to maybe sign up for something or you're not? I think so. I'm on these stupid mailing lists for some of these pickleball tournaments. So the next one that comes through town,
Starting point is 00:03:15 I think it might jump in a tournament. Even though you don't think you're ready. Correct. There's no way to get ready except for getting ready and just dunking yourself in. So I had a pretty good day yesterday. That's all. That's my day.
Starting point is 00:03:30 You? I had a great day yesterday and I was one of the lucky people in my neighborhood that didn't lose power. Why would happen? I have no idea. Because the weather was good. Drive into a transformer or something? I don't know, but my phone started blowing up and there was this whole text thread about, did you lose power?
Starting point is 00:03:48 Did you lose power? And I don't even know who some of these people are. But they're like, oh, yeah, I didn't know I lost power. But then my generator kicked on. And then I was like, oh, I wonder where this person lives. mental note has generator. So you're in a text drive with people you don't know where they live? Well, they're just, yeah, they're in my neighborhood.
Starting point is 00:04:08 It's a neighborhood group text. Does everybody have your number? Everybody in that thread, yeah. Well, that's strange. It's all women. Women murder too. Okay, but they all live in my neighborhood. It's a way of me.
Starting point is 00:04:22 Oh, you have a non-murtering neighborhood? Yeah, there's no murder. There's no one of them. Yes. And it just, we all help each other out. you know, if there's something like, oh, hey, I just saw this dog. Anybody know whose dog it is? Or, hey, my dog just got out.
Starting point is 00:04:33 Or, hey, does anybody have a babysitter for this right night? Or, hey, this one girl was like, my daughter's making lemon pies. And people are like, I'll buy some. I mean, that actually sounds pretty fun. I just would be annoyed at always going off. Yeah, it's fine. It was, but by going off yesterday, it was bumping. And I was like, what is going on?
Starting point is 00:04:51 And that's when I realized that I guess the power had gone out. But my house wasn't impacted. but I don't know what would have caused it because weather wasn't bad yesterday or anything. But it did get me curious of try to go through all the texts and make note of the generator people. Just in case. Well, we have a big one now too.
Starting point is 00:05:11 Oh, you got it? Yeah. Yeah. We had a massive ice storm last year that crippled the city, unlike anything I've ever seen. And you can say, well, we live somewhere cold. And I agree that it's probably very cold, but you guys have the infrastructure.
Starting point is 00:05:27 If it's always cold there, you have the infrastructure to salt your streets and to make sure your power lines aren't below trees. Here, maybe once a year. And I've never seen anything in my life like the storm that we had last year. And I've been in tornadoes. I've been in big snowstorms and ice storms, all of that. But to me, craziest storm I've ever seen. For you guys? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:46 Yeah, it was crazy. So some people lost power for a month. People were dying. All that to be said, a week before the storm, we actually bought a generator, not knowing the storm was. coming, but we actually bought one because my wife was pregnant, and I thought, well, if power goes out for in the summer, for some weird reasons, like you said, it just goes out. Winter, we get about a day or two of snow that it goes out. I'm going to be ready. We order it. Big ice storm hits. We don't have it because they said it's going to take a couple months to get. So the irony, we already
Starting point is 00:06:19 paid for one, ordered one, don't have one. So we're like, my pregnant wife's freezing. We're like huddled up on the fireplace. We're pilgrims. And so we end up going and living in the studio that we shoot the bobbycast from. And so we're in there for a couple days. And finally, after the ice storm is fixed and they cut down trees, all the power gets back up after a while. We got our generator. It's a massive generator. It's so big because it's a full property generator.
Starting point is 00:06:50 We had to order trees to go around it because it's so large and ugly. Oh, to cover it? Mm-hmm. because it looks like just a city generator. And so we had to pay $12,000 for trees. Well, you chose
Starting point is 00:07:06 to cover it. Trees which are supposed to be free. Free trees. Yeah, but it was also bringing them a plan. Yeah, yeah, that was it. Mature trees. That's it.
Starting point is 00:07:18 But we have one now. My brother-in-law has always said trees are good added value, so you're all good. So you lose power? You come to stay at our house. Have you used it yet? Yeah, it did fall out a few weeks ago for like an hour, and we didn't even know.
Starting point is 00:07:32 And it just kicked on. Oh, yeah, that was going to ask you that. Because I've very limited generator knowledge. I did. Now I have medium generator knowledge. Because I thought, okay, I guess if we need it, we go out and we pull it, like an Evan Rood. And we think, because we had small generators growing up that you'd use out if we're camping or whatever. But why it takes so long to install is they have to dig it and dig up.
Starting point is 00:07:55 at your yard and put it into the gas line. So as soon as it goes out, it triggers and it's all run through the gas line. So it powers it all through gas now instead of electricity. Makes sense. Yeah, pretty crazy. But we have one if you need it. Well, if I need to come over.
Starting point is 00:08:10 Yeah. I'm not loaning you the generator. I know, I can't. It's already stuck behind some trees. It looks like a bus. Yeah. It's that big. A bus? Maybe not quite as long, but three quarters of that. Yeah. I guess you did say whole home or whole property because they said well what do you what do you need it for i said well heat and electricity
Starting point is 00:08:32 and they said okay you want like a couple rooms i said well if like the s hits the fan i got to do the show and i can't get out so i need the studio and property too and they said well you'll need what we call a whole home okay what is that 20 bucks extra no that's way more i don't think so i need 20 bucks so uh yeah we got one uh okay tell me something good eddie yeah so i was driving the boys to a basketball game yesterday and it was just quiet in the back. You know, and I was like, this is strange. They're usually messing with each other, picking out each other, fighting.
Starting point is 00:09:05 I look back there and you'll never believe what the three of the boys were doing in the back. Hugging. No. They were reading. Nice. And I'm like, this is crazy. Books? Books. Apparently they went to the library. They all picked out
Starting point is 00:09:21 books and they liked to read. Because I was worried. You know, I have the disease where like, I don't read. I have dyslexia and a discalculia, which is a scrambling of numbers. So I thought my kids were going to have the same thing, but they loved to read. They were enjoying their books. One of them's reading Diary of a Wimpy Kid. Great book for kids. Yeah. I think you would like it. You should read that. Oh, like because it's beginner level. Well, it's entertaining. Like, if there's a kid's book to read, like, that's one. If you read to them at night, like, that's a good one.
Starting point is 00:09:54 Yeah. I'm not reading to my 11-year-old. my 12 year old at night. You should read The Alchemist. Nah, you get that, the Four Agreements. Okay. It's much shorter. I know you're not going to. You say, we do this every month.
Starting point is 00:10:04 We do the dance. I'll lead, okay? You should read the Four Agreements. It's so short. You can read it. You won't read it in a day, but you can read it in a week. Okay.
Starting point is 00:10:13 And I don't think your disease keeps you from reading. I do think there are different obstacles that you deal with knowing that you have dyslexia, but you can read. Amy reads. Yeah, so, but I can empathize with Eddie on. I wasn't a big. reader until when I was an adult because reading for me in high school, college, all of that
Starting point is 00:10:31 was so difficult because I also am dyslexic but didn't know it until I was an adult like Eddie. And I was like, oh, this all makes sense. But I implemented certain tools like Bobby was saying that help me. And now I'm all in and it's great. And it's actually helped me. So I think you could get into it. You just need that foot in the door or maybe listen to the audio while you're reading and it can help you and then turn off the audio and try to read.
Starting point is 00:10:58 Like, you're capable of reading. No, I can read, but to give you guys an idea. It's hard on the brain. After I read like 10 pages, I'm exhausted. Yes. Like, I need a nap. Which that makes sense because your brain, our brains have to work over time to figure out a page of words versus a neurotypical brain. But also, it would be like if you worked out without working out a long time, you're going to be exhausted if you do this average workout because you haven't worked yourself up to getting stronger and better at it. But I read, like I read news articles.
Starting point is 00:11:31 Like, I don't read books. But that's because you don't want to. Right, right. I mean, to me, it's just kind of like, am I going to waste all that time to read books? It's not a waste of time. I promise you, it's not a waste of time. But like even when I watch movies,
Starting point is 00:11:43 I put on the captions and I read the captions more than I watch the movie. That's like saying you read Twitter. There you're reading. You're reading. So if you were to read the four agreements. I need to find that book. Overall, it would take you two to three hours. That's what did you call antitopical neuro?
Starting point is 00:11:59 What did you say? Well, you have a neurodivergent brain. See? No, no, no, no. She's not saying you read slow, but let's say you read 15 minutes a time. You could do that. Two weeks, finish the book. Oh, he's saying, like, you're saying two to three hours for a neuro.
Starting point is 00:12:14 Like your brain, you could read it then. Your brain. Or you could read it and maybe. The average person can read this book in two and two and a half hours. But he's not average. But he's saying he gets so tired. I'd have 10 or 15 minutes. He's not saying he reads so much slower than everybody else.
Starting point is 00:12:25 I'm saying you could read for 10 or 15 minutes and then just put it away. Mm-hmm. Which is probably what I would do. But you don't want to. You should search up. How long does it take someone with dyslexia to read? Yeah. It could be months.
Starting point is 00:12:37 No, it's not months. Start on the back page. Go backwards. Reach backwards. Which is such a common misconception. Then you'll crush it. Go backward. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:45 Anyway, my point is, like, I'm just glad my kids aren't dealing with this. They are actually enjoying reading and... Are they your... Both. Okay, you're... If you're a slow rate or three hours, if you're neurodivergent, three hours total time. Okay, there you go. Neurodivergent.
Starting point is 00:12:59 That means I'm slow. That's you. No, that means you have like ADHD. Neuro means brain. And then divergent means slow. I'm slow brains. That's what you're saying. That is not what it is.
Starting point is 00:13:13 What is divergent? I really don't know what that means. It's different. Oh, great. Someone who processes is different. So my brain is different. Obviously it is. Yes.
Starting point is 00:13:21 But my brain's different. different. Right. But no one calls you neurodivergent. But I don't think that's a negative. Oh, it's for sure a negative. Well, they definitely created words to help us feel better. Okay, but I'm saying...
Starting point is 00:13:33 Before he was like, dummy. And now it's like neurodivergent versus neurotypical. Yeah, Eddie? Yeah, he's a dummy. Some of the absolute most successful people are people that have neurodivergent, ADHD, blind in one eye. because they have to figure out it. They commit and they have to figure out a different way to do it than that different way that they do it
Starting point is 00:13:56 is often a way that's so different than anybody else has done it that allows them to be wildly successful. You know, I do see posts like that, and this is what my brain does to me, and maybe this is negative self-talk. But I'm like, okay, or maybe the pendulum has swung so far to where everybody's saying that, and they're like, but what I've learned about my dyslexia
Starting point is 00:14:14 or my ADHD is, you know, just, it's my gift. It's my superpower. And I have that too. And I'm like, and I'm sure I've tried to say that as well because I really want to believe it. But then I'm also like if I could go back and have a brain that I could get through school a little bit easier, I would easily go back and take that. But then, you know, it could alter a little bit of who I am and I don't want to lose who I am. But then I'm like, are we just, do we just, are we just saying this so that everybody feels better? Because I don't think it's everybody feels better.
Starting point is 00:14:51 I think it's so some people don't feel so ostracized. Okay. Well, I can help if people need that, including me. And then also I do believe the spectrum has been widened. Yeah, the more they learn about the brain. Yes. Yeah. So I think you have a lot more people that would just be, according to today's standards, a bit on the spectrum.
Starting point is 00:15:13 I think I dabble with the edges sometimes. but according to 25, 30 years ago, I wouldn't. And, you know, I go, so many more people have autism now. It's probably the toothpaste or vaccines. The reality is they have opened the spectrum up so much because there's more of an understanding of it. When the base gets wider to land on, it's easier to land on it. So people are like, well, look, people that are neurodivergent
Starting point is 00:15:37 or have autism or have, and you can go through and insert any of these. It's so, it's, there's so many more people. it's probably cell phones. There's more of an understanding of it. And again, the bass, the pad is so much wider now that more people can land on it because there's more of an understanding of it. Hey, I'm Ruby Carr, the host of the podcast, Encore.

Starting point is 00:16:12 wolf parades, I'll believe in anything, and tattoos all the things she said, and how they all became a part of this global phenomenon. Stream encore on IHeart Radio, crave, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hi, my love. Starting your day can be tough. You wake up, maybe hit snooze, and then scroll on your phone for a while,
Starting point is 00:16:34 checking your emails, all before even giving yourself the chance to really open your eyes and breathe. And I want to help you break that cycle. My name is Ryan Weiss, and for the past 15 years, I've been an emotional intelligence coach and spiritual guide. And I'm here to share with you my new podcast, Waking Up with Ryan. Waking Up with Ryan is a daily audio video podcast to interrupt the inertia of your fear, your ego and judgment. Here to help you connect with yourself before the noise of the day takes over.
Starting point is 00:17:10 So let's start our days together with a moment of calm, a moment of reflection, and meditation, a moment that's just for you. Listen to Waking Up with Ryan on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. I'm Stephanie Young. The hit podcast Love Trapped is back with new updates in the case of Laura Owens. This is CR 2025's Dayt versus Laura Owens. I think she really believes that she still hasn't out. I'm quite confident that they're up to something.
Starting point is 00:17:41 We're following the case live as the criminal charges. finally come to a conclusion. Trust us when we tell you as the victims of Laura Owens, she will not stop. Listen to Love Trapped. On the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. You said to me, yo, you know, keep at it, because you let me rap for you. It was magical for all of us. We made it.
Starting point is 00:18:03 We made it. Yeah. I'm like, we? You know, I'm like, I know these guys, but who are you? I'm MC Jen, and this is laugh but not least. I'll be chatting with guests from all walks of life about. about the power of humor when it comes to facing difficult times, like the co-founder of Rough Riders, Darren D. Dean.
Starting point is 00:18:20 Talking about as a kid, do you remember that we met even way before that? Let me think. Did you walk up to the gate? That was me, Dee. That was me, D. That was me. The day we found out that you and the whole crew was at Hit Factory, the mission was to get me to go to the gate, start freestyling and see if I could get in the studio. I'm rapping, and then suddenly I hear a voice, hey, open the gate, let him in. The gate slowly went, come, come, come, come, come.
Starting point is 00:18:43 they all they're watching this and they watch me walk into there and that is a moment that I will remember for the rest of my life listen and laugh but not least with mc jinn on the iHeart radio app apple podcast or wherever you get your podcast you ever seen those posts and i appreciate people posting this stuff but obviously it's a lie but like there are so many that go out there and say like you know science says if it takes you a year to read a book you're smarter than the average person well i've really started to try to get off even on this show and i've mentioned Where we just try not to say research says because that can mean anything at all. So if we're going to say somebody says, we say what it is because you can just make anything up at all.
Starting point is 00:19:23 You can say science says, research says, and you can say research says people with a micro penis or better lovers. Research says, who did that? There's no. Right. So, yeah. I feel you. Yeah. You could read all this to say, cool your kids are reading.
Starting point is 00:19:39 It's awesome that they're reading. Secondly, you could read too. You just don't want to. I think if you were to get into it, you'd really enjoy it. If you found a book that you loved, you'd eat it up. It's hard to find a book you love because it's different than a movie. In that a movie, if you don't like the first 20 or 30 minutes, you can go, I give it 15 more minutes. And you only wasted 45 minutes of your day.
Starting point is 00:19:59 If you get into a book and the first quarter of it isn't great, it sucks. And you're going, am I going to invest so much more time to see if this book is good or not? And sometimes they are. It's awesome. And it's really, it feels good to carry a book around. Like, I read McConaughey's book. No, people do look at different. You get more respect.
Starting point is 00:20:20 You do? Like, it's just cool to be like, you're in a waiting room in a doctor's office. Like, what am I going to do? Read my book. So you're projecting. That is 100% projection because I don't think people look at you and think you're cooler, but you see people doing it and you think it's cool and think they're smarter or better than you. Correct.
Starting point is 00:20:35 So you go, I bet they're better than me. So then when you hold a book, you go, I bet people think I'm better than them. That is pure projection. Oh. Andy, like, you should do that on a plane. Like you set it, like you get your own. He does that. And you put it on the table, you know, whatever the table, fold out table.
Starting point is 00:20:48 And then I just go to sleep and just put it on the table. So it looks like, yeah, I'm reading. But really, I'm just there to sleep. Yeah, I've seen you do that. So that that would be pure projection. Yeah. But it looks cool. People are like, oh, man, that dude must get, you know, read 50 pages,
Starting point is 00:21:00 got tired and fell asleep. No, just put it there fall asleep. And it's also cool to say you read a book. Like, even in conversation. You know, just like, you know, I read a book the other day. Like, that just sounds. Sounds awesome. To you, because it's cool when people say that to you because you're not reading.
Starting point is 00:21:15 I'm not even bookshaming. I think if you want to read great, but you always talk about how you would like to, but you can't. Yeah. Maybe because it can't, I want to. But if I could, I probably wouldn't be a reader. This is what it really gets under my skin. Maybe we should have a book club. You can't.
Starting point is 00:21:28 One day I'm going to tell you about a book you just read. No. I try not to do that, even on this show. But when you do, I'm like, gosh, that sounds awesome. I know, but I don't like to be that person. It's like, oh, funny you should say. I just wrote a book about I had a promotion that I was so close
Starting point is 00:21:48 to getting to the finish line that was so funny with a client and it did not go through and I almost want to share it now but I can't yet it was to me is money and they just it was too much of it
Starting point is 00:22:01 I asked for too much money of a commitment it wasn't even about me but I'll text you what it is okay and you can tell me if you think this would have been funny um okay lunch on things we don't like. I hate it when you guys do this. Yeah, this is like, okay, cool, man, so. Well, no, I'm sending it to Amy to see what she thinks about it. And then, and then you send
Starting point is 00:22:19 it to us? Also, it's, there's a chance I do this promotion in the future. And if I do, I don't need Ray and lunchbox and you knowing. Oh, but it's okay of Amy knows. Yeah, because it doesn't involve her at all. And if it didn't involve you at all, I could let you know. Okay. But it could involve, well, and scuba, it can involve all for you. Okay, that makes me feel better. Yeah. Uh, okay. Amy, what do you think? It doesn't come in yet. It takes me a minute to text.
Starting point is 00:22:45 Tell me something good. I mean, because you said we were going to try doing tell me something good or tell me something suck at the same time. So are we off that? No, you can do either. If you would like to do tell me something suck, you can today. Go ahead. Yes.
Starting point is 00:22:57 The plumber was supposed to come yesterday because trying to fix the bathroom, the shower, and the guest bathroom. And the plumber just never showed up. So just no call, no nothing, no, hey, sorry, got busy. Got busy. Got another appointment. got hung up over to another job, just never showed up. Didn't, ah, so frustrating. It's like you finally get an appointment and you give you the window and you just sit there and sit there.
Starting point is 00:23:22 And as those minutes tick by and you get to the end of that two hour window, you come to the realization that you've been stood up and I got stood up. So what do you do next? I guess call a different plumber. I don't want to call the same plumber and give him another chance. It's like, no, no, no, you missed your opportunity. I'm going to move my business to somewhere else. and I'll have to call another plumber today and try to get an appointment.
Starting point is 00:23:45 What's wrong with your toilet did you say? Well, it's a shower. It's a shower. So what happened is, I mean, this is an ongoing thing for over a year. The flood because of the hot water heater busted. Then I had foundation issues. So I had to rip out everything. And so I'm trying to put the shower and the bathroom back together. It's been a year in like three months since this happened. You're doing it? No. But my, you know, had to put the rooms back together, the walls, all that. now the bathroom is very close to being completed, but Plummer didn't show it to put in the faucets. Got it.
Starting point is 00:24:18 Yeah. Can't do the tile until you get the faucets. The plumbing done. Really frustrating. Amy, I'm sending it to you. It's kind of long. Ready? Yep.
Starting point is 00:24:32 And I was also listening while I was riding, so I don't know if you can. What did you get, Amy? I don't know if you can. Just take a second to read that. Yeah. Oh. Wait, what? Okay.
Starting point is 00:24:55 I don't want to say anything because I still might try to do that in a way. Wouldn't that have been funny? Yeah, I guess I have a question. Are you going to text it back to me? Because I can't ask you. You can't. Yeah. It was hard to write while listening, so it kind of broken.
Starting point is 00:25:16 The roller coaster of her reading it's pretty interesting. No, I'm trying to follow it. Well, you're watching as a neurodivergent brain. Read text messages. Dang. Okay. So how can we make this happen? I know.
Starting point is 00:25:34 And it was just going to be splash. Timer starts. You know. I was really feeling great about it. We got so close. We ended up changing it to something else that has nothing to do at all with this premise at all. but one day I will either share this in
Starting point is 00:25:54 entirety it's not going to be one of those that we'd never share or I'm just going to splash it on all for you guys and say let's get it okay so either it happens still happens or you tell us
Starting point is 00:26:06 okay I like that do we need to put a timer on this or is it just like open in you can't rush it did let me see what Amy oh no no no no hold on no no no see it was hard for me to explain it oh that's that's what it would cost
Starting point is 00:26:20 the whole thing. Oh. Mm-hmm. Okay. Oh, she has another question. Got it, got it. Because, God, I guess. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:26:38 Or to... Oh, wow, wow. Really? Mm-hmm. Is that for real? Yeah, if you do all the math, it's very close. Oh.
Starting point is 00:26:46 Oh, wow. Yeah, for... Oh, I thought that was just like... Mm-hmm. Okay. Whoa. Oh. Okay.
Starting point is 00:26:54 So we can figure this out You think I feel great about it I think it's and it was going to be like a two month bit And I think we can still do it And it drives people crazy when we do this I know but I wasn't planning to talk about it So let's show bit baby Well I want to be excited about it but I don't know what it is
Starting point is 00:27:14 Sounds like a big deal All of you guys, you'll all get a kick out of it When it is revealed Okay Or kick out of that how much it was I like that No, not really that. It's more of what it is.
Starting point is 00:27:27 Yeah, it's a great. Somebody was really, like whoever won was going to benefit, like their life was going to change a bit. Yeah. But I couldn't make it happen quite yet. Like I said, I was asking way too much of a client. But we were giving them a lot. There was a new client.
Starting point is 00:27:44 And I think I kind of said, let's just do this. And they were like, well, hold on, buddy. Let's hold hands before we get it on. I just sent you something else. I know it's not real. No, no. Hold on. He said three.
Starting point is 00:28:01 Three. Oh. Doesn't that make sense? The third one? Yes. But, okay. That's cool.
Starting point is 00:28:11 A little bit of he likes to do this too. I know. I know it drives people crazy. You love it. So now I like to do it a little bit. And the back and forth is really on purpose. I know. I'll stop because it's annoying.
Starting point is 00:28:20 But I just have a question. No, it's fine. The fact that this will be. revealed is different. Yeah. Than Ray's envelope that had the couple in it, who knows if that will ever get revealed? Probably never. Well, because they're still together.
Starting point is 00:28:33 Yes, and I don't think they were ever on the rocks. But if they ever get a divorce. If they ever get a divorce, I will say that's who Ray put in the envelope. And I do think the other envelope will be revealed at some point, too, that I said I didn't know if we ever would. Yeah, you told Amy that one, too. Yeah. At some point.
Starting point is 00:28:49 You know what's crazy, though, is this is, as life change. of an opportunity as this might be, I do wonder if it would happen. That's the thing. No. Wait, what? I don't think if we go to them and do that, I still think they'd fail. That, yes, that's what I'm saying. Like, you're not saying because of the other people involved, you're saying, like, the main character involved might.
Starting point is 00:29:17 Fail. Yeah. Which would be crazy. So if someone was going to fail, probably going to be Eddie. That's not true. Well, she said the main character Well, whomever it is Yeah
Starting point is 00:29:27 Could be you, dude Several main characters It could be hold something over your head You're gonna fail at that It's not Amy or Mike or Abby Those three were not in the mix Got it Everybody else?
Starting point is 00:29:36 Well, that's us three Four Four, don't forget Scoba Oh, scuba too Yeah Okay, well I would love to make this happen I still, you know
Starting point is 00:29:45 It kind of re-invigorates me Mm-hmm Yeah, maybe call that new client back Well, they're not new anymore Now they're still with us We're rocking Oh but they didn't want to do it
Starting point is 00:29:55 Well, I asked them to do it months ago And they were new at the time Oh, well Okay I think that's good Everybody good? Ray, you have anything? Tell me something good.
Starting point is 00:30:04 Yeah, just real quickly Me and my wife are always looking for fun games to play And we burned through Uno Way too much And while I was gone on my circuit Doing Papa Shot over the last month She got this new game
Starting point is 00:30:16 It's called Rummy Cube And it's basically Rummy But it's for kids And so she was playing it With my niece and nephew So if you got Amazon, look it up, Rummy Cube. If you're two years old, apparently you can play it. There's a lot of smiley faces.
Starting point is 00:30:29 It's just the same thing as Rummy. You're working on runs and sets. So I think once I'm done with it, this kid's version, I'll be able to play Rummy. So that's the cool thing. It's like Eddie reading Dyer of a Wimpy Kid. And then next thing you know, you're reading Rummy. The real baby steps. Then The Odyssey.
Starting point is 00:30:46 E. You know, by Homer. No, I'd stay back on that one. All right, there you go. That's what it's all about. Come on. It's time for the good news. With Bobby.
Starting point is 00:30:54 Tell me something good. A couple that's about to retire, and they were like, I don't know, we're kind of, we're close to the money we think we need, but we don't know if we're good, good, but we're going to retire. They hit a $500,000 lottery prize. Oh.
Starting point is 00:31:10 Wow. I don't think they're good now. That's perfect. Right as they were retiring. Yeah, the couple who both work at Maryland College scratched the winning ticket together after he asked his wife pick up two tickets while he was out. shopping. They say it'll help
Starting point is 00:31:24 with the new car and retire with a few fewer financial worries. Yeah, that number that you're trying to reach is hard. It's hard to figure that out. My fear is outliving the number. You run out before you die. So then I
Starting point is 00:31:40 get down like the last eight bucks and I'm like, I'm just jumping off the bridge. You know? It's hard. Like you have a bridge day set. If I get down... You adjust your lifestyle. Nah, I'm bridging it. Can you?
Starting point is 00:31:51 get a job like at 90? Yes. You see those greeters at Walmart? And hopefully you get a GoFund me. Yeah, that's that too. Then you do that and you have somebody come in and raise money for you. Congratulations to them. That's from People magazine. That is what it's all about. It's time for the good news. With Amy. Tell me something good. This guy, Jaden, he just got his master's degree and he was in an accident a couple of years ago that doesn't allow him to walk, but he really wanted to walk across the stage. So through a lot therapy and working with a robot, he was able to walk across the stage. Get this. He now plans to go into real estate and he wants to help other people with disabilities find the perfect house.
Starting point is 00:32:34 How do I get that robot? Right. What's that cost? It's a robotic exoskeleton. Those are awesome. They have them in like Japan and China and they won people with injuries, people that are paralyzed, but also you can just buy one and it makes you run faster. Really? Yeah. That's not the one that's a bartender, right? No, that was a whole robot, but then we found out there were humans inside of it acting like robots. That's right. Yeah, that's really cool that he got one of those.
Starting point is 00:33:02 I think once those things, the technology gets a little better, I think you'll see a lot of people that don't have the ability to move around and walk be able to have those. And hopefully they get covered by insurance. And then the other thing is that toilet that rolls to if you can't walk and then you can poop beside your bed. But I want that and I can't walk. Yeah. You know what I mean? I'm sure you're going to get one. Great story from that guy. There you go. That's what it's all about.
