Starting point is 00:02:30 Okay, I'm going to hit you with one from TikTok. This retired teacher was sitting in her front yard. She saw a class of graduates walking by in their gowns. So she waved at them. Not realizing she used to teach them way back in kindergarten. Now they're graduating and they come up and surprise her. Here you go. What's happening?
Starting point is 00:02:50 Hi. Are your kindergartners. Did you know this was happening? Oh my God. You're all just gorgeous. Me too? She was a kindergarten teacher of all those kids. Wow, I got chills.
Starting point is 00:03:11 And they wanted to come and surprise her. That's so cool. It didn't say how old she was. she's retired. I imagine like 70s. I imagine Betty White. I was trying to picture it in my head. Betty White sitting on her porch. So that's a pretty cool moment. That's from Uncle Dave's TikTok. Amy, what do you have? So during a wedding reception in San Diego, while a bride was dancing with her dad for the father-daughter dance, her dad had this whole audio recording that he took from when she was little, and he played it during the dance. Surprised everybody there. So it was
Starting point is 00:03:45 obviously emotional. It was from when she was about four years old. So 20 years ago, here's a clip. Tell me about your wedding. My wedding is going to have clowns, dancing with the children, and the blue bounce, and face painting. Who will you invite? Tracy? Uh-huh. Rachel? Yeah. Patty? Yeah. One more. Oh. Uh-huh. Uh-huh.
Starting point is 00:04:09 A little sailor. Yeah. Then dad asks her about the groom. Max. Was it the same guy that she said then? Did she say Max? Max, that's what she said. And everybody started screaming. Do you know that?
Starting point is 00:04:24 I don't know. I mean, that's the best part of the story. It doesn't say that in the story, though. It's obviously Max, the way they reacted. It's got to be Max. Well, that's what I said, too. They all started screaming. If that's not the headline of the story...
Starting point is 00:04:35 Well, the headline was the story that the dad thought to do this and put it in the middle of their father-daughter dance. The headline of the story is four-year-old predicts who she's going to marry. That's crazy. This is from ABC World News. TikTok. Okay. Classic Max. Wow.
Starting point is 00:04:51 Was groomed at four years old to be her husband. That is crazy if it's really Max. That's what I'm saying. It was Max. It had to be Max. Guys. Yeah, it's Max. It's Max. What? That's, I mean, I was just emotional that he had a clip of her talking about her wedding when she was four. But the fact that he asked about her groom. What would have been cool, too, is if he would have sent the clowns out to dance right
Starting point is 00:05:13 when she says, there'll be clowns at my wedding. And he hired clowns and then clowns come out. I'm in next level. All right, Eddie, tell me something good. This is crazy. It was in Chattanooga, a police officer responds to an apartment fire, and the body cam catches the whole thing when he shows up and the apartment's up in flames. He doesn't just stay outside.
Starting point is 00:05:31 He goes in the fire to rescue the people that are in the house. Here it is. Hi, come here, come here. You're okay. Come on. Is anybody else in the house? Three, five, I've got the residence out. The video is crazy because the whole doorway is just in flames.
Starting point is 00:05:56 So the fact, like when he runs in, he runs in charges like a bull. And then he rescues the mom, a four-year-old and a 10-year-old. Is that all body cam? It's all body-cam footage. That's a hero. That's a good one. Did you say who the source was so we don't get sued? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:11 It's a Chattanooga Police Department. Okay. Or TikTok. All right, there you go. I don't want to get sued by Chattanooga Police Department. Lunchbox. Yeah, there's a tornado headed toward Marion Andy's house. 200 mile an hour winds.
Starting point is 00:06:27 Get in the cellar. Getting the cellar fast. They get in the cellar. Their house is destroyed, but they're buried, stuck in there. First responders arrive. They don't know where those people are. They're like, oh, they must be dead. Nah, the baby goats are going,
Starting point is 00:06:43 bha, bha, and pounding on the ground by the cellar. And that's how they're rescued. Here's a clip. The door of the cellar dented in. We were trapped in the cellar. I was the only one who had cell phone service. I called 911. My daughter and I could have sworn we heard our goats and thought there's absolutely no way. But yet you hear them. Yep, their three-year-old pet goats, Percy and Penny, not only survived the hellscape. They also stood right over the cellar and started bleating as if to pinpoint the rescuers to the trapped family. Well, we need to get goats.
Starting point is 00:07:21 Yeah, they sound smart. You know that news guy was like, okay, let's stand by the goats. Let's try to get, how do you get them to go, man? And they have the camera. For the audio. Yeah, like, do something. How do you get them to do it again? And they're just sitting there.
Starting point is 00:07:33 Come on. Okay, we got it. We got it. We got it. That's a good one. You sourced that one. Oh, yeah, it's Inside Edition. Classic.
Starting point is 00:07:40 My favorite Inside Edition clip ever is Bill O'Reilly. Because that's what that's from, I believe. Oh, we're doing it live. We're doing it live. That one. Effitt. We do it live. That's a good one.
Starting point is 00:07:51 When you see that clip, it is. so old looking because it looks like 90s television, the graininess, the color. They'll show old football games sometimes back from when we were kids, even like the early 2000s. And it looks like it's the 1800s. Yeah, I think every time I'm like, how are we watching that? It looks like Steamboat Willie they're showing. It's so blurry. Morgan, do you have one? Yes, I do. So there was this woman named Amy and she was out on a run when she saw a stray white dog laying on the side of the road. Here it is. This is a dog? It's a real dog.
Starting point is 00:08:23 Are you a friendly dog or are you a scary dog? Hi, doggy. I'm a little scared, but he seems nice. I want to take you home so bad. So the dog was following her on her run and eventually gave up, but Amy couldn't stop thinking about her so she went back for her. She picked her up without asking her boyfriend or partner, whoever it was in the video.
Starting point is 00:08:44 And she took the dog to the shelter to get checked for an owner, a chip. The dog didn't have one. So after getting spayed and vaccinated, she adopted the dog. Oh, love that. That's good. Sourced it up. Yeah, it's on her TikTok page at Follow Amy Here. Oh, follow Amy here?
Starting point is 00:09:00 Yeah. That's a good name. Does anybody else have one at all? Ray, did you have one? Nope. Do you have one off top of your head? What's yours in your life? Yeah, so there was a cop that ran off the road near my house.
Starting point is 00:09:17 It was a medical emergency. and he ran into another guy's fence and like pull barn and that's what saved his life. Otherwise his car would have kept going and he'd probably gone even faster and died. And then the home person at home ended up calling the cops and saving the guy. What's that source? It is smoky barn news, I believe. I read that a lot. Oh, I thought this happened around your house.
Starting point is 00:09:43 Yeah, it did. Did you guys think Ray was talking about his neighborhood? Yeah, I thought of something he saw. Yeah. No, I didn't see it, but it is. I thought you were going to say source, my eyeballs. No, no, no, it's in the vicinity of where I live. And yeah, I drive by it and I'm like, it's crazy.
Starting point is 00:09:56 I mean, he pretty much demolished the guy's fence and it still hasn't been fixed, but saved his life. And Smokey Barn is the publication? Yeah, I believe they're freelance. I don't even know how they make money, but they just float around and cover all this random stuff in the country. Something we didn't get to do. So we did on the main show today. We did a review. of that documentary called The Big Lonely.
Starting point is 00:10:21 And then we, in part two, we talked about it, which you'll hear much deeper. But what we didn't do is like a natural Tuesday Reviews Day. So I don't know if you guys watched anything other than that. I didn't really allow time for that. I can do a couple. One, I did finish the boys. How many seasons was that?
Starting point is 00:10:38 Five or six? Five, seven years. I give it five out of five superhero capes. Dang, that's perfect. It's one of my favorite shows ever. It's a top three show for me of all time. in my life. So I give it five out of five. I loved it. Mike,
Starting point is 00:10:52 what do you give it? I also gave it five out of five Homelanders. He's so good as Homelander. And the fact that he doesn't have blonde hair in real life is crazy. He's dyed his hair to look like. It looks like Zach Morris's hair. So to me, perfect show. I also
Starting point is 00:11:08 and I talked about it, but I never officially reviewed it, Project Hill Mary, which it took us a lot of times to watch it because we'd have to stop for the baby a lot over a few days. And the book was excellent. The movie was really good. I give it four and a half out of five Rocky Aliens. I think a 12-year-old would love it.
Starting point is 00:11:27 And I think a 52-year-old would love it. And I don't think you have to have any knowledge of the book whatsoever. I don't even think people walk away going, well, that suck compared to the book. I think you just understand the book has more nuance and details, but I still really enjoyed it. I think my wife loved it, and she didn't read the book. So four out of five.
Starting point is 00:11:46 The only thing I didn't like about it was it was too long. It's two hours and 36 minutes or something crazy like that. And the promo football throw, right? Well, that wasn't the movie. He just shouldn't have done that. He didn't throw a football in the movie. No, there was nothing. They told the story in the movie different than the book.
Starting point is 00:12:03 I like how they told it in the movie. I feel like it made the movie better. I don't want to say too much, but does that make sense? Yeah, because a lot in the book is internal his thoughts, and then they can't do that in the movie. And it's very linear in the book. When you read the book, did you picture someone like Ryan Gosselin playing that character? Because that wasn't announced, right?
Starting point is 00:12:20 You didn't know he was going to be the character. When I read it, he was already cast, so I saw Ryan Gosson all the time. That's smart. Oh, that's interesting. I don't think I did. But I think I pictured Matt Damon-ish type character because the same guy wrote the Martian that Matt Damon was in. Got it. So I think my brain kind of went there.
Starting point is 00:12:36 And that's basically the same. But it was really good. Anybody else watched that movie? I did. Morgan? Yeah, I was obsessed. And I went into watching this movie knowing nothing. I didn't read the book.
Starting point is 00:12:47 I didn't. All I knew was it was sci-fi, so I was no information prior to it. And I loved it. I was captivated the entire time. I sat there, went through a whole bunch of emotions, and it was a perfect ending also. So I give it five out of five Rockies. Ryan Gosling can play a nerd and it be believable. And he can also play like the hottest dude, heartthrob and it be believable.
Starting point is 00:13:11 He's awesome. He's versatile. Some heartthrobs though when they're playing a nerd, you're kind of like, okay, you're just a hot dude with some glasses. But there's something about Ryan Gosling that he does pull off. You believe he's kind of a nerdy dude. With the glasses and the sweater and teaching kids.
Starting point is 00:13:28 Yeah, all of that. You're like, yeah, that tracks. So, okay. You watch anything other than the Big Lonely. No, not that I've completed. Good. Pride is like love. You feel it in your heart.

Starting point is 00:14:23 It scared the hell out of me. That was your first murder case? Yes, sir. Fear to say this was the biggest case of your career? Yes, sir. Rape a murder for a child. Just as bad as it gets. I would think so.
Starting point is 00:14:39 Evil, wake up. I'm the one that saw the murder take place by Crevent and DePippo. Anthony DePippo showed no signs of remorse. appearing unfazed after being sentenced to the maximum. I said, I'm not guilty. I'll take it to the grief. Starting point is 00:15:41 I was not prepared for postpartum anxiety. Listen to Joy 101 with Hoda Kotby on the IHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. That's where SportsSlice comes in. I'm Timbo. Every episode, we're cutting through the noise,
Starting point is 00:16:04 breaking down the plays, the controversies, and the stories behind the headlines. The laughs, the drama, the triumphs, the moments that never make the highlight real. And for more, follow Timbo Slic Life 12 and the TikTok podcast network on TikTok. Eddie? Same. Working on a lot right now, but haven't finished anything. What are you working on?
Starting point is 00:16:49 Friends and neighbors. Yeah, same. Yeah. What's a Dutton Ranch? Dutton Ranch. It's so good. I finished that, but. Do you have all of the episodes? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:58 Yeah. I don't know if my link still works because now I'm just watching it on, you know. I'm just waiting as it comes out. Well, that's probably better anyway because our link is like, you know, the sound isn't fully done. And I have to watch it on my phone. The way they sent it. Like sometimes the music sounds like,
Starting point is 00:17:12 because they were just sending us more of a raw product. And then there's like, you know, property of Paramount or whatever it says. Like sometimes it's like you feel like the wheel is, I don't know the terms. The projector. Yeah, it feels like very, you're like watching. some bootleg version of something, but it's just more, they sent us the raw. Does it feel like it's just a continued Yellowstone? Yes.
Starting point is 00:17:37 Yes. But I like it because it's taking place in Texas. But is it shot better? Are the characters? It's all the same. It's all the same. It just basically feels like they moved and the cameras went with them. And there's always trouble wherever Rip and Beth goes.
Starting point is 00:17:51 Ain't that the truth. That's why I got a little like nervous watching at a time because I was anticipating the next like bad thing. But Amy's right. I had a problem with Yellowstone because I'm not from there. So I saw the Cowboys living in that little ranch house. I'm like, this isn't real. Now that they're in Texas, I'm like, dang, they nailed it.
Starting point is 00:18:10 They nailed it. Yeah. Lunchbox, anything that you've seen? Yeah, Survivor, season 50, finished the whole season. And we brought back players from the whole era of Survivor and twists and turns. and three-hour season finale, and we wrapped it up with a bow and Bravo, Bravo, Survivor.
Starting point is 00:18:33 How'd you feel about the big Jeff Prope's mistake? Oh, my gosh. I, let me tell you. Did you see it live? Saw it live, and I thought I was an idiot. I was like, did I fall asleep? Explain to them, because I don't think they know what you're talking about. So when you get to final four on Survivor,
Starting point is 00:18:50 two people get a seat at the final tribal council, the other two have to make a fire and they burn a rope and whoever burns the rope first is also in the final tribal and the other person is eliminated. So they announced the two people going to fire. Like, all right, these two people are going to fire. When we come back, we'll see fire. And they cut to the live reunion in L.A. And Jeff Ropes calls out one of the people and is like,
Starting point is 00:19:17 and here's our last member of the jury. But we hadn't seen the fire yet. he did it before we saw the firemaking challenge and that person was eliminated. And they're all like, uh, the crowd is looking at him. He goes, what? And he goes, you haven't shown the fire making challenge yet. And he goes, we'll go to commercial. So the guy that came out did not win the fire challenge because he was on the jury.
Starting point is 00:19:39 Right. And so you knew that when he came out, but they hadn't even shown the fire yet. And Jeff Rotes was like, oh my God, it was so awkward. And I thought maybe I fell asleep. So I rewounded. I was like, did I fall asleep for 10 minutes? and I missed the fire. And I missed the fire.
Starting point is 00:19:54 And I was like, no, they just screwed up. Wow. Do people ever go back and watch a full season lunchbox like we do a TV show? Yes, all the time. Like maybe you never watched it before and you watch like season 50 this past season. Then you're like, man, I'm going to go back and watch some of the past seasons and you do it. Like I started, I think, season 10 and I've watched a couple seasons before 10 now. Like I go back and watch them like, oh, that's cool.
Starting point is 00:20:21 even though you know who won it's still entertaining to you yes because you like to see the type of gameplay they had the strategy they had what moves they make the relationships it's fascinating I saw a story about that guy from the other radio show that went on Price is Right
Starting point is 00:20:38 after lunchbox he also made it to the showcase showdown oh it was in the news did he win or do you lose I don't think he probably didn't win because they didn't home gym because well they didn't say he won The showcase showdown? Well, he wants something to be on the showcase showdown.
Starting point is 00:20:55 Yeah. Oh, that's true. So let's see. Hold on. I want to see what I saw. And then Mike, do you have the information if I go to you? I do, yeah. Okay, don't give it to me yet.
Starting point is 00:21:05 Okay, so lunchbox went on prices right. That had to drive this show crazy that we beat them by like, I don't know, three weeks. Because that's cool. Have somebody from your show get on prices right. And they're like, oh, my gosh. Can you? And then we. we didn't know.
Starting point is 00:21:23 Obviously, Launchbox didn't know. He was, like, racing against another show. That's so funny to me. Especially because one of those dudes was a huge douche bag to me a few years ago. I need to put him on the grudge list. Hold on. I thought we liked them.
Starting point is 00:21:39 I don't know. One of them is really nice. The other one was a jerk to me. Okay. But I don't... What do you think? Is one of them really big? Like, tall, like just a bigger dude.
Starting point is 00:21:49 And by a few years ago, do you really mean? Three years ago, do you mean 10? COVID messes my brain up. Oh, the COVID year. Mike, do I have a, I feel like there is, do I have a grudge? I don't think so. I don't think you do.
Starting point is 00:22:01 Hey, very nice. There was, no, no, no, there was some bad talking about me for sure from one of them. I know that for sure. Bad talking like to your face? No, no, even worse, not to my face. So you heard it from somebody else. They said it on the air. Oh, that's different.
Starting point is 00:22:15 I thought maybe it was like, you know, a game of telephone. No, I don't play telephone. I don't answer my phone. You guys know that. I remember a little awkwardness a long time ago. Really? A long time ago. I always thought.
Starting point is 00:22:25 So I'm not putting them on the grudgelet. No. One of them is really nice. You need to have a limit on your grudgeless. Like if you add another one, you got to take somebody off. Oh, no. How many do you have? Like one in one out, like at the club.
Starting point is 00:22:37 He's got a tally? No room here. Right now I have one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine. There's actually room for a tent. Okay. Ten's a good number for the grudgel. Put them on. What?
Starting point is 00:22:50 No. You're not going to add him just because you need an even number. Yeah, I like even numbers, though. You know that about me. But you don't need to hit double digits. Top ten grudgy sounds good, though. Okay, talk to and grudges. I'm putting it back on.
Starting point is 00:23:01 Hold on. Top nine sounds like. But which one? The non-nice one. Oh, you know specifically which one it is? Oh, yeah, of course, because the nice one's awesome. Anyway, this other guy went on. And let's see, it says, da-da-da-da-da.
Starting point is 00:23:20 May 7th episode. Your episode was what day lunchbox? April. March 31st. Got him by a good month. Wow. Drive him crazy. Good.
Starting point is 00:23:29 Except for the nice one. Not good. I like the nice one. It says his energy reactions and natural chemistry with host Drew Carey helped create several memorable moments, including a hilarious exchange where Carrie effortlessly slipped into radio DJ mode while riffing with Noah. I don't know Noah. Noah could be an awesome guy. He went on the show from that morning show.
Starting point is 00:23:48 Stream it on Paramount Plus. Dang. I would say, Dan. Daniel had a pretty good little moment with Drew Carey too. Daniel didn't need Drew Carey. Daniel did his own thing. That's right. And Lunchbox, how much did you win all prizes in?
Starting point is 00:24:01 I think it was like $10,000. From the home gym, the shoes. Computer and the trip. Okay. Mike, what this guy win? $3,3,3.13. Did you got him? $3,000?
Starting point is 00:24:15 Say $3,000. Yeah, 3,000. So he didn't win the Showcase Showdown? He did not. He overbid, but he took home an HP computer. a 3D printer, a drift board, and a helmet. A helmet. I think lunchbox got them.
Starting point is 00:24:28 Kind of helmet. Eddie's focused on the helmet. Whatever it is for the drift board. Oh, okay, okay, got it. All right. What's that? I put them on their website. I put them on the garage list.
Starting point is 00:24:39 So now you're at 10. I'm at 10, yeah. So to add anybody now, I've got to take somebody off. I like it. Fair enough? Fair. Because I want to add Mojo for saying all the St. Jude stuff that I was doing was for performance way back in the day.
Starting point is 00:24:55 But I'm pretty sure he apologized. Okay. Yeah, I mean, obviously, they stole my bit. They heard me talking about it, and they decided they were going to send their person. Can you do it that quickly, though, lunchbox? Like, can you get on the show that quickly? No, they had to go. They may have heard us doing the bit where we sent him out there.
Starting point is 00:25:12 Right, right, right, right. But also, it's way closer for them because they, I don't even want to say where it is. It's the same company, it's the same company, too. we are for. All right, there you go. So that's tell me something good, but then we've thrown a little Tuesday reviews day and a little nice is right. All right, there you go.
Starting point is 00:25:30 It's time for the good news. With Bobby. Tell me something good. An Arizona grandma who was scammed by a contractor while trying to build a mini wrestling ring for her grandsons. That's awesome. Got some help after her story was shared. Her name's Lisa.
Starting point is 00:25:48 She had hired a contractor to build a padded backyard wrestling ring for a four-year-old and two-year-old grandkids and the contractor took all the money and then just stopped responding. Dang. To a grandma.
Starting point is 00:26:02 So shady. Story aired. A resident then said, hey, we got you. So they donated a bunch of mats. Then a contractor said, hey, I'll come over and I'll build it. And in the end, it was way better than even
Starting point is 00:26:14 she had planned for it to be. Spring loaded ropes, padding, vinyl covering, a custom logo. The family came together to build this. But dude, the wrestling ring looks awesome too. But what a crappy person, this contractor. From ABC 15, we had a contractor
Starting point is 00:26:28 tried to get us in the old run around once. You were doing a wrestling ring? Mm-hmm. For the backyard. It was a UFC Octagon, but similar. No, we had built this big bridge for our dogs. We had drawn
Starting point is 00:26:44 it and they had built it and then all the sudden supplies had doubled. Then all of a sudden, we need to hire three more people. Dude. And then it was if you don't pay us, we're going to sue you. And it was like, all right, bring it on. So what did you do?
Starting point is 00:26:59 Paid them the amount we agreed to at the beginning. And then they just were like, okay, we're good. But they tried. Like they, I don't know what I'm going to give them an A for effort. They tried to scam us out of more money by claim. And in the end, had they been able to prove because we asked for itemized receipts, I did. I also took it as a challenge. I was like, oh, you think I'm dumb.
Starting point is 00:27:19 Okay. I need itemized receipts from all the things that you bought. I want to see all of the materials and they couldn't provide them. Oh, we bought them in bulk. Okay, bulk this. And I grab my... Oh, nice. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:31 That never happened. That's what I thought. But a big shout out to this community and awesome for the grandma. That is what it's all about. It's time for the good news. With producer Eddie. Tell me something good. Jimmy Chilli Grimus.
Starting point is 00:27:45 He graduated from Loyola University. it's law school, but here's a deal. He's 18 years old. Okay, I don't know what this means, but when he got into law school, he got a 174 out of 180 on the L-Sat. I think it's pretty good? Never took the L-Sat, so it sounds pretty good to me.
Starting point is 00:28:02 Yeah, and this is crazy. He graduated from high school at the age of 12. That's crazy. And he got a master's in accounting at the age of 15. That's wild. This guy is going to be so rich.
Starting point is 00:28:13 That's wild. Yeah, and he's not done. Now he plans to do a master's of law degree, in taxation at Northwestern University in Chicago. Unbelievable. What's up with his brain? It's been unlocked in certain ways that we don't even understand. Here's my question.
Starting point is 00:28:30 So if LeBron is on the radar in high school. That's that. Like he's on. He's LeBron. Some people are looking at him right now, right? What do you mean some people? Companies. Like companies are being like, when this dude is done with school, we're going to snatch him.
Starting point is 00:28:44 Yeah, possibly. I don't know what his ceiling is. and what the money he can make. It's different than an NBA player. But that, I don't know. I just think about our brains and something just come a lot easier to some people. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:59 Well, and two, like at 15 or 12, I didn't want to graduate high school. Like, I didn't even think about graduating high school at 12. But again, there could be like a maturation process
Starting point is 00:29:07 inside of his brain that's different than us. Not only are things unlocked, but he could get mature a lot quicker. Yeah. He could be so intellectually stimulated that he's learning things that allows the maturation. I don't know. I'm jealous of kids like this. I was over here just struggling along.
Starting point is 00:29:22 I'm a little bit. Like I want to just a little bit of it. I don't need all that. Just a tiny bit? Just a little bit of it would be nice. I would love all. Like put that right in my veins. Oh, no. All of it. Because to Eddie's point, like, being a kid. Like, I want to be a kid.
Starting point is 00:29:36 Exactly. I didn't really get to be a kid. Exactly. So, like, this. Shoot it in my veins right now, all of it. What's his name again? His name is Jimmy Chalemigris. Jimmy, keep doing you, man. That is all. That is what it's all about.
Starting point is 00:29:49 That was Tell Me Something Good. There was no anything inside those eyes. They turned black. It scared the hell out of me. People wake up. I'm the one that saw the murder take place by Krivac and DePippo. Anthony DePippo showed no signs of remorse, appearing unfazed after being sentenced to the maximum.
