Starting point is 00:01:20 The Jonas Brothers here Our podcast is called Hey Jonas We're here since everyone has a podcast We want it to as well And we've had some incredible guests so far And now our good friend Nile Horn is joining the show How's it going boys? Hey Nile
Starting point is 00:01:30 It was the same thing with Slow Hands Slow Hands is not about anything else really is it You know our taste so good Can't be about food You do the same, Nick, with some of the stuff that you've done. You too, Joe. Drop what you're doing and listen to Hey Jonas on the Iheart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you listen to your podcasts. Last night, a blown call changed a game.
Starting point is 00:01:51 This morning, the internet lost its mind. And nobody's telling you exactly what happened. That's where Sports Slice comes in. I'm Timbo. In every episode, we're cutting through the noise, breaking down the biggest moments in sports and giving you the real story behind the headlines. and we're going straight to the source, the athletes themselves. Their locker room stories, their reactions in the moment, and the stuff nobody gets to hear.
Starting point is 00:02:14 Listen to SportsSlice on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. And for more, follow Timbo Sliced Life 12 in the TikTok podcast network on TikTok. It's time for the good news. Tell me something good. What I like about this segment that we do every day, man, microphone almost fell, is that I find myself looking for little things.
Starting point is 00:02:36 happened during the day just so I have something to talk about, but then I do find myself acknowledging like the good things that have happened. So I kind of had to do it backward. Like I'm doing it for the segment, but me doing it for the segment has allowed me to be appreciative of more things in my life because I'm looking for it. A couple things. One, I had an old friend reach out. I would say for my high school and college years, he was probably my best friend. I called him my best friend for a long time. I've had three, three. I had Evan through high school in college. We lived together. I came back to my dorm room once he moved out though. Yikes. He was just gone. We had it falling out after that. He's not like a principal. But how long from
Starting point is 00:03:16 that point to when you started talking again? A couple years. After college. You know me. I don't hold a grudge, but I got nothing to do. I'm out. Yeah. Like I don't want bad things to happen to anybody, but I got no need for that. But we just had such a different lifestyle in college. Like I had to be up early. Seven o'clock classes. I worked all night. Did straight school. Drove an hour to Hot Springs to work radio didn't get home till one two o'clock in the morning and i think he was just annoyed that i was like shh yeah i got to sleep and then he was just trying to live a normal college life but i did go back to my room and it was empty i was like did somebody rob us there's nothing in there why would someone rob a dorm room turns out he moved out dang yeah that one hurts a little bit uh so he he texted
Starting point is 00:03:57 me and was like hey i don't he said hey there's something happening there's an award or something that's happening and but i just hadn't heard from him in a while and so So talked with him, which is really cool. I try to see him if we go home about once a year. But I hadn't talked to him in a while. That's number one. Number two, there were bananas this morning when I came in from work. My wife got bananas.
Starting point is 00:04:18 I just always appreciate when there's bananas, when there's something I can grab when I come in. Something quick. Yeah, because I never think about that. The only time I think about it's when it's not there. And I'm like, oh, I should really get bananas. So I put that on the list. The next, tell me something good.
Starting point is 00:04:30 We're in a fussy stage with the baby where, one, I didn't know that babies also got the zoo. me like dogs do it like in that at night like that six six seven eight p.m. She goes a little crazy. And so she's in that stage of like four to six weeks where she's growing like crazy as well. And so she just gets so like wound up and fussy. We kind of got a pattern now. I can handle it. My wife showed me the security footage last night of me walking on the property. I took her outside and just been walking around the property. Oh, that's it. Yeah. And so we got a good thing going there. We're kind of getting our rhythms. I went to therapy for the first
Starting point is 00:05:05 yesterday, solo therapy, since before my wife gave birth, because it just shut everything down because I didn't know what the schedule would be. Did that. That was good. So, yeah, that's mine. I got four there. Nice. Yeah. Anything else? Watch another episode of The Wire. I do think it was a great show in the early 2000s. And it is a little bit making me want to watch again. But I do think in its time, it was. was amazing. If it were put out exactly right now, I don't think it would be amazing because television has, it's just grown. It's like you take a basketball player from the 60s or 70s, and he was elite then. Against this competition, Havlicek was freaking awesome. But you put him with
Starting point is 00:05:50 today's athletes, it's probably different. So I think I like the wire, but I don't think it's going to hit me the same way to hit people watching it live. But we're still watching it. I did watch the boys second episode. There's a new one out today though. It comes out on Wednesday mornings. love that show. I know I mentioned it yesterday. I love the show. It's such, don't hit me with the superhero crap guys, but it is superheroes, but it's so good and absurd. I don't know. That's all I got. You want to say anything about that? I mean, I think it's one of the best shows in television. I do too. Like ever. I do too. Ever? Ever? I enjoy watching it as much as I've enjoyed watching any show almost ever as well. But there's elements you have to like. There are superhero shows I don't
Starting point is 00:06:33 really get into. I like superheroes, but it's just not that. But you're right. But you're I enjoy watching that show almost more than any show I've ever watched. It's one of the only shows that I watch and like completely don't think about anything else. Don't even look at my phone. I'm completely zoned in every single episode. Same. Same for me. Yeah, that's mine.
Starting point is 00:06:50 Amy, what you got? So today I get my second iron infusion and I'm so excited. Is that a pellet? Or do they put that? What hole? No, this is through a needle. Like they stick a needle in my arm. and my doctor said that after my, I only need two, and I've already done one, you have to do them a week apart.
Starting point is 00:07:12 And so today's the final one. And last week after I got it done, you can have flu-like symptoms, fatigue for a day or two after, and your muscles feel, what's the word? Like, um, achy. And I had mostly fatigue. Like I was so worn out. And so I know that that's coming, but it's okay because. two weeks after my infusion today, this is when I'm going to be a new person, they say.
Starting point is 00:07:40 That's when I'll be complete. I've got my yam pellet in. I've been taking my vitamin D and my iron will be in. And it'll be doing its thing. But it says it takes anywhere from one to three weeks. So my doctor told me, let's just count on two. So two weeks from today, that's when I'm going to be a new person. It's awesome.
Starting point is 00:08:01 We'll see. Yeah. And you know way more about this. do, especially like the health and wellness, I would encourage you not to put a date on when you're going to feel better because anytime I've done that, it's never actually met that. Yeah, like, I get it. It's going to be a... It could be three weeks. It says one to three, but I'm going to be like maybe two. It could be four. It could be tomorrow. But here's the thing. Like, if I'm not really different, just act like I am. Oh, don't tell you. So you're saying.
Starting point is 00:08:25 I'm supposed to feel so much better. I mean, I guess you all don't really know how I feel inside all the time, because sometimes I just come put my game face on and do it and I leave. We can tell. I especially can tell. That hurts. No. No, I can tell, but no, it doesn't hurt. We all have that. I can tell probably more than anybody.
Starting point is 00:08:44 I mean, I can sit with you for three seconds and I can tell. PMS. No, not just that. There is even a tone to your voice whenever you're trying to game face it. There's a tone. Yeah. Okay. But I'm rooting for you.
Starting point is 00:08:56 I think it's great that you're so invested in your health. Well, then this is, well, this was me finally taking action. Like, I wanted to go see this hormone doctor. for a year and a half. And I just was like, because I was a little more fatigue. Like I just didn't. I was like, I don't want to add that to my,
Starting point is 00:09:12 this seems overwhelming and so complicated. And then it's like, oh, well, they do all the work. Like they tell you, but I mean, you have to go to the appointments and you have to do the things. But you start to get the hang of it. And yeah, that's why I'm excited for maybe Eddie to figure out his testosterone because like it could be a game. It could be a game changer.
Starting point is 00:09:31 And I want to encourage people. And I get that it's, I do, it's a, privilege to be able to have access to care like that. So I don't, you know. We're not shaming you. I know. I just know for some people be like, yeah, well, I wish I could do that right now. And if you can do it and you were like me and you've been putting it off for a year or two
Starting point is 00:09:51 and you're just, you're used to feeling like, meh. And you may even be thriving in your meh. I thrive in my may sometimes. Yeah, like it can get better. And so that's what I'm hopeful for. I'm holding out. Yeah. To your point, Bobby, I won't put an exact calendar date on it.
Starting point is 00:10:06 I'll just, I'll be breezy about it. Oh, God. If she starts saying, guys, we've done this. If she said she's breezy, that ain't breezy. No. We're rooting for you. But I think you have been in a better place in the past six months to a year than you've ever been, almost in the history of us doing this show.
Starting point is 00:10:23 Oh, then just wait. Yeah, how's it just wait yet, man? Because I haven't even, that was me. But, baby, you just ain't seen nothing yet. But also, I have my moments. I mean, in the last year, that's when I, but moments I couldn't explain of like outbursts. Fine.
Starting point is 00:10:39 But y'all, I can hold it together at work. Most of my outbursts would happen at home where it's safe, but I would be a home on the phone with work. Wow. Yikes. But iron is going to change all that. Well, it's not just iron lunchbox. It's my testosterone.
Starting point is 00:10:56 It's my vitamin D. Like, it's all. Dude, if we, we'll talk about it tomorrow on the show, but if we did the T challenge and Amy beat both of you, If she got in, Amy had a higher test outside I would laugh out loud. Well, but that's not fair. She's on yams.
Starting point is 00:11:08 She's on supplements. She's on yams, dude. Yeah, she's on. She got a pell in her hole. Guys, I don't want to have manly tea. I will be growing hair. Oh, it's different tea? No, no.
Starting point is 00:11:18 It's just if women start to get a certain amount, there's side effects that happen to us that we don't. Like, I have heavy estrogen. Correct. You know? All right. We're rooting for you. Thanks.
Starting point is 00:11:34 So has the yam kicked in? Yeah. You can't tell, dude? I believe it has. I mean, she's been lifting things a lot easier. You feel the yam? I think I feel the yam. But some of it, I'm like,
Starting point is 00:11:43 placebo possibly? But if a placebo is still placeboing, it's still working. Exactly. A working placebo still works. Yeah. But you could do it without the yam. But you wouldn't do it without the yam because you need to know the yam went in you. Or did it?
Starting point is 00:11:57 Right. Right. Oh, it's in me. I can feel it in my hand. Oh, four. Now we just got that, whenever you put up a podcast, it tells you if it goes like rated R. Amy just got us that rated R. It's in me.
Starting point is 00:12:13 Tell me some good, Eddie. So it hasn't happened yet, but I'm excited for it. So therefore, it is good. But Scuba invited me for lunch today. After the show, we're going to go for a free lunch. Wait, one? That's interesting. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:26 Like a date? Right across the street. What's the occasion? It is the grand opening of the Capitol Grill across the day. the street and they have a media thing. I try to get like 10 passes for all of us to go, but they only gave me four. So I invited Eddie and I don't know who to invite the remaining two. Ooh, anybody else want to go?
Starting point is 00:12:41 I have to get my iron drawn or put in. What times it out? I mean, I like a free lunch. I know you do. 1230. But I mean, you had, you could have already invited them. You're like confused. That's kind of weird that you picked Eddie is your number one.
Starting point is 00:12:54 There's nobody else at all to fill these two passes with. Eddie's always here usually at that time. He's all in between me and him and maybe Kevin. at that time. Yeah. So I just figured. Yeah. Like it was just me and him.
Starting point is 00:13:04 Did you bring this up so this would happen? No, no, no. No. I was truly just excited that we were going to go to lunch. I didn't know there were four other spots or whatever. Two other ones. It is a bit controversial. I think Scova did just to do controversy because saying that we're never here that late on a Wednesday.
Starting point is 00:13:22 I didn't say it never. It's typically. Typically me and Ray are here that late on a Wednesday. Okay. Well, would you and Ray like to go as well? I can't today, man. See? See, there you go.
Starting point is 00:13:32 You have Scoopach are going to go lunch. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, it's already set. Me and him. Do you want to go? I was like, I have to get iron. He's looking for something to come up with on his calendar. A baby. I literally could have no reason and go, no, I'm good.
Starting point is 00:13:48 Oh. Like, it doesn't hurt. Yeah. I don't care about hurting feelings or not hurting feelings. I'm just like, no, it's not for me. I was just looking at my schedule literally today to see what I was doing. You know who I'm doing a bobbycats with today? You don't know.
Starting point is 00:14:00 I don't know. I know. I'm doing it. I was about to tell you about I was choking on banana. I had a quick bite a banana real quick while they were talking. Dr. Jacob Unger, familiar with them? Yes. I just wanted like, yeah, you pointed it, Ray.
Starting point is 00:14:12 Go ahead. That's how I know of him from Ray. Me too. So he's a plastic surgeon, but he did when Bay had breast cancer. Oh, yeah. But I'm just so curious about that job and that profession. And we don't do a lot of that, like, hopping into professions, but I'm just so curious about what things cost, what can you get?
Starting point is 00:14:28 What's downtime? What do people just come in and be like, here's a picture? I just have so many questions about that job. So I was like, hey, dude, do you want to come to do on Netflix podcast? And he's like, yeah. And so that's what we're going to do today. That's cool. Yeah, I think it's cool too.
Starting point is 00:14:42 It's not going to be up today, but that's what we're going to do. Like, I'm curious of all that. Yeah. I don't want the down. Like, if I could walk into a car wash and go like, here's a couple things we're going to do. Do you walk out? You're healthy? No problem.
Starting point is 00:14:54 Great. Sign me up. I just don't want the downtime. I don't want to have to, like, be hurting for two or three weeks going through recovery. Are you going to ask him out of BBL? I'll put that on the list That's a Brazilian butt lift Ask them about the anesthesia
Starting point is 00:15:06 What is it called? Like when they go down There's that risk that people are so scared of That they may not come out of it or whatever That's why anesthesiologists are paid so well Not to actually deliver administer the anesthesia But if something goes wrong to be able to get you out of it
Starting point is 00:15:21 Very rare But that's why That actually does not conflict at all With you guys as lunch But I still don't want to go Oh okay I just was just seeing it I had that.
Starting point is 00:15:30 Thanks for checking. Yeah, yeah. But I owe my wife now if I have a bit of free when I don't have free in days. I make a point to go home. It's a gesture, but it also does alleviate some stress points for her with the baby. So, no, I don't want to go, but two, I really couldn't go anyway. And I figure you would want to go for that reason, but also it's like a media thing. So it's kind of like one of those things.
Starting point is 00:15:52 I feel like you'd be bothered by it. No, I don't. I mean, no, who cares about me. But, yeah, that's cool. Hope you guys have fun. That's going to be awesome. Yeah. I can't wait
Starting point is 00:16:01 Enjoy it, man We'll let you know how it is lunchbox He got invited though Now I got an appointment at one So I mean I can't make 1230 If it was 12 I could have squeezed it in Okay Can you squeeze it in?
Starting point is 00:16:12 It's 1230 is the time Yeah Oh yeah hard hard time hard time Hard in hard out Yeah That's rough Happy Pride Months Toronto Pride is an opportunity for you

Starting point is 00:16:46 We have a ton to celebrate Toronto. Happy Pride, IHeart Radio. In the moment, it felt like it was going on forever. I didn't think I was going to live. I was terrified. There was no anything inside those eyes. They turned black. It scared the hell out of me. That was your first murder case? Yes, sir.
Starting point is 00:17:13 Fear to say this was the biggest case of your career? Yes, sir. Rape a murder for a child. Just as bad as it gets. I would think so. Evil, wake up. I'm the one that saw the murder take place by Crevent and DePippo. Anthony DePippo showed no signs of remorse,
Starting point is 00:17:30 appearing unfazed after being sentenced to the matter. maximum. I said, I'm not guilty. I'll take it to the grief. Together, we're going to have meaningful conversations with the world's most fascinating people, like when actress Olivia MUN shared how she overcame fierce health challenges. I've gone through breast cancer and then helped my mother through breast cancer, and that
Starting point is 00:18:20 was more difficult. There's a lot of people who understand postpartner depression. I was not prepared for postpartum anxiety. Listen to Joy 101 with Hoda Kotby on the IHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. All right, listen up. The Jonas Brothers here. Our podcast is called, Hey Jonas.
Starting point is 00:18:37 We've here, since everyone has a podcast, we want it to as well. And we've had some incredible guests so far. And now our good friend, Nile Horn, is joining the show. How's it going, boys? Hey, Niall. It was the same thing with slow hands. Slow hands is not about anything else, really, is it? You know, or taste so good can be about food.
Starting point is 00:18:51 You do the same, Nick, with some of the stuff that you've done. You too, Joe. Drop what you're doing and listen to Hey Jonas on the Iheart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you listen to your podcast. Tell me something good lunchbox. Yeah, my co-ed soccer team, we start our outdoor season tonight, and man, it has been rough on the planes, on the field. We've only had two girls. play the game, all game. No subs because you have to have two girls on the field.
Starting point is 00:19:17 Been looking for chicks to play. Can never find any. So I started DMing people on Facebook searching soccer, Nashville, girls, soccer, Nashville. That sounds like a dangerous search history. The feds are on you for sure. Vulnerable women. And one chick finally responded
Starting point is 00:19:35 and she's going to play tonight and maybe sign up for the whole season. We'll see how tonight goes. But we got at least a sub for the girls after a season. with no subs. Hard to get girls, huh? Hard to get girls. You're the one DMing, like from your account? Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's tough. Yeah. Well, at least a blue check mark somewhat gives him some cover of creepiness. I know, but I think it'd be hard to believe that he is playing soccer still. I don't know. He looks... Come on. He looks like he's in shape. There's nothing
Starting point is 00:20:02 about him that doesn't say he's not active. Older, older. The white around his beard and stuff, you know? Yeah, but there's nothing about him that looks non-active at all. I don't even think he looks that old. I think you're just being a hater. No, no, no, for like, co-ed soccer of like an older dude. Hey, play voicemail too, please. I have to say, it sounds like Eddie has had an extra serving of the hater aid. I don't know what's going on lately, but he certainly is hating on everyone in that room. Love the show.
Starting point is 00:20:28 And that's an example. I mean, that's cute up. You walked right into it. You walked right into it. Locked and loaded. I don't agree with you. I don't think he looks, he looks his age. He looks good.
Starting point is 00:20:38 He looks in shape. Fine. These girls that were responding to your... No, no, most of them didn't respond. That's my point. It's a little weird. Yeah, most of them didn't respond. But she said, oh, I'd like, she played, I guess, in college maybe is what she said.
Starting point is 00:20:51 She was like, I'd love to get back into it. So we'll see how it goes. The blue check mark gives him a little cover. He's a public personality. So if something bad happens, you're not going to feel like it's going to happen secretly because you know who the person is. You can tell on them pretty easily. Yeah. And it's just soccer.
Starting point is 00:21:08 It's like, hey, you want to play co-ed soccer on Wednesday nights? It's not. It's not doctor. They're not playing doctor. You want to come over? I'm not going, hey, how are you doing? Do some doctor cosplay? Okay.
Starting point is 00:21:19 Well, good, good luck. That's hard. In softball, it was hard to find enough women to fill out a team that would play. Yeah, and also being 44 years old, like, I am not in the scene where I'm meeting multiple chicks out at the bars. All that is weird. See? See what I'm saying? No, no, I'm saying.
Starting point is 00:21:35 Like, that's where you used to meet people and be like, hey, you play soccer. Oh, you can join our team, blah, blah, blah. Now I'm not in that stage of life. And so I don't really know where you. you meet the chicks that want to play soccer. Okay, good luck. Thank you. Morgan, tell me something good.
Starting point is 00:21:49 Yeah, I got a really cool text yesterday from one of my... Lunchbox, do you want to play soccer? From one of my... Like, it was a previous foster dog I had. It was his adopter. And I've kind of been holding my breath ever since he got adopted last year, like thinking we'd get him back because he had really bad PTSD and he'd kind of bite at people.
Starting point is 00:22:12 He was a little bit aggressive, and I was just worried that it wasn't going to work out. And I always said that, like, he could come back and stay with us if that happened. And I got a text from her yesterday, and she was like, he's no longer a little devil dog. He's settled in. It was these cute pictures of him laying on the couch. He looks like a little roly-poly now, like just happy as can be. And it was a cool update to get. That's awesome.
Starting point is 00:22:33 Instead of, like, holding my breath, like, oh, you're ready to be done with him? Like, I was scared. And it was the exact opposite. That's really cool and good for you guys. I mean, you made that possible. You made it possible for them to do the work to actually, you know, rehabilitate the dog even more. Yeah, but it takes so much work.
Starting point is 00:22:49 Honestly, to take in an aggressive dog like that is a lot of effort and a lot of training. Yeah, we had, I mean, Ella was very aggressive. Now, she was young and aggressive, but she bit everything all the time. Everything all the time bit hard. But she was young, so it didn't kill. But it was just, it was so much consistency and discipline. and at times it felt like I was being too consistent, my wife too, and too disciplined, and putting them in a crate for this night, like letting them, it was hard because I felt like
Starting point is 00:23:20 what I was doing wasn't loving, but it was a tough love, and it was a consistent tough love, and now she's awesome. Every once in a while she has some resource guarding. Yeah, and I think, I don't know that it ever fully goes away for them, you know, I think they always hold on to it, but to think that they can come back from that when a lot of people would kind of give up on them. It's cool that you guys would do that. It's cool that she would be willing to do that. I used to hate myself when I would, we'd have to like break her from that stuff because we'd work with trainers and they'd be like, she has got to know where she can go, when she can go there, but you've always got to be present. There's a got to be a trust that's built. It's very
Starting point is 00:23:56 relationship, just like humans. But, and we'd have to like put her in the crate for a while and just like in the room with us. And I didn't want to be like, we suck. You're in a crate. You're in a cage right now and I'm sitting next to you and I'm not in a cage. I wanted to get a big cage so I could be in it and sit next to her. That's good. That's a good story. Ramundo, you have anything?
Starting point is 00:24:14 Yeah, I guess I can go either Robbins or Dandelions. I think I'll go with Dandelions. We looked it up online. It was going to be about $500 to spray our two acres for dandelions because they're everywhere. I mean, it looks like Little House on the Prairie. It's really bad. And so I call our guy, we're prepared to pay about $700 to spray for these dandelions. And he goes, no worries.
Starting point is 00:24:35 You don't even got a spray. They just go away. It's just dandelion season right now. He said, wait, a couple weeks, and they won't even be there anymore. So save $700 by not even doing anything. It's awesome. He goes spray in the fall. Don't even worry about it now.
Starting point is 00:24:48 It's too late. Man, he could have charged your $150 to come out and do a magical little water spray, and then they go away. That's why I love that guy. He's very honest with us, and he tells us the truth. What was the Robin thing? Robin thing was, so last season we had Robbins. I didn't want to steal Amy and Eddie, their bird stuff. Yeah, they may have bird birthdays coming up, so we want to make sure we protect that.
Starting point is 00:25:04 They're on the bird bee. But, yeah, so we had Robbins. They actually were birthed at our house, and I saved the nest up there, and we saw the robins. They learned how to walk, fly. It was crazy to witness that. And I said, all right, I'm going to take away the nest. And my wife said, no, no, no. What if a robin comes back next year?
Starting point is 00:25:21 And we have more robin babies. And I go, there's no way a robin's going to find that same nest, the same robin, and lay more eggs. Well, come to find out, it did. The same robin came back from Florida. It flew back up here, into its nest, laid 12 eggs. and it's just sitting on them right now. So any day this week, we could have Robin babies. I love that, Ray.
Starting point is 00:25:40 And there's just bird crap all over my house. But we got Robin babies. And birds poop out of their pee. Right. It's mixed. Yeah, there's not a butthole. There's one hole. It comes out of their pee hole.
Starting point is 00:25:56 That's why it's wet. That's why it's wet. And you want to know how they learn how to fly? I'd love to. What we learned last year. So the mama Robin will take the baby Robin to the road. and so that one of the cars scares the bird and then it flies off.
Starting point is 00:26:10 It did that with almost every one of the babies. That seems like a very... Understand what cars are? It understands what an object coming at you does, gives you fight or flight. So if it doesn't react, then what? Sounds like a dead bird. We were terrified.
Starting point is 00:26:23 Yeah, but then it would just take every time it would take off and it would never look back. Then it learned out of fly what its wings do. You know, I'm just take your word for that one. It's a weird technique, but whatever. Yeah. My friend, also my co-host on my NFL show Called Lots to Say, Matt Castle, who played in the NFL a bunch of years,
Starting point is 00:26:40 They have ate chickens on their property, and came home, they're all dead. They forgot to put them up. Coyote? They don't know. Bobcat, coyote, anything. Speaking of birds. He said he came home. They have five kids, and one of the kids are like, well, the chickens are dead.
Starting point is 00:26:54 Walked around, all eight of them were got. I hate that. That's so terrible. He said that he orders those chicks by mail, though. Like, they come in the mail. Like UPS drops them off? Like in the mail. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:05 Weird. In a box. Live chicks. Yeah. Wow, that's crazy. He's a little more educated on it than I am. It's today's episode, lots to say. He also has a pig.
Starting point is 00:27:14 Oh, he does? How big is it? Is it pretty big. It's a pot belly? It's a little bigger than a pot belly, but not quite as big as Orville. Okay. That's so cool. Wilbur.
Starting point is 00:27:26 Wilbur. Thank you. Is it domesticated at all or it lives outside? Both. You want one of those? Oh, I've wanted one for a real long time. I went to a pig farm years back, and I saw the little teacup piglets, and they were so small, but then I went and met their parents, and I'm like, they're massive.
Starting point is 00:27:42 They're massive. So it's like they were trying to sell you this little teacup piglet, but it could grow to be that big. There was no way to know. It was definitely not going to stay teacup, which is what they were leading people to believe. And so I just was like, I don't know that I can handle that. that, but man, they're cute. And they're smart, too. Like when you do...
Starting point is 00:28:04 Smart animal on the farm. You can train them like a dog. Smart animal on the farm. That's cool. There you go. All right, everybody feel good? Feel good. All right, got it out there.
Starting point is 00:28:14 That's what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good. It's time for the good news. With Bobby. Tell me something good. My theory is in the future, we'll look back at surgeries, and we won't believe that we use not. and cut into things.
Starting point is 00:28:31 Well, everything will be able to be done microscopically, it goes in, does the work. A cyber knife. Okay. Sounds like a movie starring Wesley Snipes. Cyberknife. But yeah, yeah. So I think eventually we'll look,
Starting point is 00:28:46 because we look back at a lot of crazy stuff. Now I can't believe they would just bleed people out. Our lobotomies. Yeah, they thought they were sick, so they just blood them out. Or if they had certain diseases, they just sent them to live near the ocean. Because that's just the information we had. It wasn't they were bad doctors. Like, that's what we thought.
Starting point is 00:29:02 A bit, I also think eventually we're going to look back and be like, can you believe they used to cut into people for surgeries? Now, technology is doing crazy cool things. There's a groundbreaking transplant procedure at University Health in San Antonio. It brought 14 people together to save seven lives through a first of its kind ever liver exchange. That sounds pretty cool. Lever exchange. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:26 It's like Dirty Santa. You pick and then whatever you have. The hospital completed the nation's first ever seven-pair living donor transplant, where volunteers donated parts of their livers to recipients they had never met. Donors and recipients met for the first time on Friday sharing emotional moments. The complex process involved carefully matching seven donors with seven patients in need, allowing transplants to happen more quickly than waiting for deceased donors. Basically, they found all the people, they didn't all know each other,
Starting point is 00:29:53 but they would donate, and they all matched, and they got them all there at the same time, and they basically traded Pokemon cards. Wow. But livers. Yeah, you thought about that at one time. Pieces of liver. I mean, I always think about that. The doctor credits both donors and recipients for their trust, courage, and generosity.
Starting point is 00:30:09 That's a really cool story. They got enough people there to do it all at once. And again, some people that wanted to donate didn't have, like, they wanted to donate to somebody that needed it, but they didn't match. So, like, hold that thought. We have somebody that matches. What if we can find somebody and they found the whole circle? KSAT with that story. That is awesome.
Starting point is 00:30:27 That is what it's all about. was tell me something good. Come on! It's time for the good news. With lunchbox. Tell me something good. Last week, Bryson Campbell from Texas is sitting in the lunch room and him and his seven-year-old buddies just chatting it up,
Starting point is 00:30:43 eating, having a good old time at school when he looks over and he sees one of his friends. It's choking. And Bryson's like, oh my gosh, I got to do something. He jumps up. Boom. Boom. Boom. hits him on the back like three or four times,
Starting point is 00:31:02 dislodges the food. They're like, how'd you learn how to do that? And he goes, oh, my mom talked to me basic CPR. She worked at a daycare, so she thought it was important. I know that. Wow, that's cool. Seven-year-old saving a life. That's right.
Starting point is 00:31:14 We don't learn baby CPR, I told you this. Or baby just save, and it's, those babies, like I said, if they're choking on something, you turn them over and you hit them on the back, and they're like, no, no, no, you got to hit it. That's got to be so hard. It's got to be so crazy. Like, like, he did it, like, boom. Yeah, boom.
Starting point is 00:31:28 Boom. What I would do if you're in that situation is I'd play lunchbox as clipback to tell you exactly how hard to hit because that's it. Good for that kid. Saved a life. That's what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good. Joy is essential and it's also elusive.
