What's happening, everybody?
Today is our Christmas show.
Merry Christmas, everybody.
Morning studio.
Morning.
Which, by the way,
we will have another new show
on Monday of next week.
week. This is not our final new show, but today is the Christmas show, just so everybody knows.
Let me bring in our phone screener, Abby. Abby, good morning. Good morning. I have a lot of things
talk to Abby about, but let me start with this, because you were taken out the trash and you noticed
something on your trash can, which was what? So there was just a little note taped on there,
and it was typed on there, and it said, happy holidays and, you know, happy New Year from your
trash man, Jason, and family. And then under it had his address.
typed up and that's it. So I'm like, okay, does that mean he wants us to tip him?
Yes, that's what it means. So we send him cash in the mail.
A card, cash, you could probably maybe put it on the trash can, although that's riskier.
What are your thoughts on this?
I feel like it'd be better if you put Venmo because then I just Venmo you right then.
Okay, yes. I guess my question is, how did you feel about the trash man putting that note on your
trash can? I thought it was, because people aren't going to tip him, I don't think, on their own.
so I don't mind him putting it on.
I don't either, right?
And I only bring this up because for years and years,
lunchbox just come in complaining about this exact thing.
Oh, I have the thing on my trash gang.
Got it last week, and I just laughed.
I said, I don't need to bring it into the show
because they already know that I'm just going to rip this trash man
asking me for a tip.
What am I going to give him a tip for?
He's doing his job.
It's the Christmas show.
It's the Christmas show.
It's his job.
It's his job to pick up the trash.
I should not tip him for picking up the trash.
Then I got to tip the mailman,
the delivery driver, the FedEx guy,
UPS guy.
You have to tip everybody in your life then because they're doing their job.
No, no, no.
And if he didn't spend all that money, here's a question.
How much money do he spend printing all those for every single house
and putting them in a little plastic baggie so they don't get wet?
Take that money and that's your tip.
Save the paper.
Save the plastic bags.
Wow.
He's been doing this little rant for about five years now.
Okay.
And I just wanted to know how you felt about it before I went to,
him to show you how he feels. No, I think it was fine. I do too. And you know what? If you feel
like they do a good job and you want to tip them, then you can. He's just giving you the option.
He's not saying if you don't tip me, I will never come back and pick up your trash. But it's a time
of the year when everyone is a bit more generous than they normally are. And if he is your
main guy and your only guy, why not? Okay. Everybody listening. I have a Venmo. If you think
we've been... But that's different. How is it different? If you think we've done a good job,
this year. Find me on Venmo. Can I get my
Venmo here? No, you can't give your Venmo here. So that
way, if you guys are inclined,
you're feeling a little more generous this holiday season,
tip me, because I've done a good job all year.
But what if... Okay.
Abby, I agree with you. I think this is
great that he should have put his Venmo or his
PayPal or his cash japper or something like that
if he has one, because it does
make it a lot easier. And maybe he hasn't
considered that. So is there a way you could leave a note
back that's like, hey, hey, I...
Oh boy, she's a pen pal with the trash guy over the top of
Because I'm sure she's not the only person thinking,
oh, I wish you had a Venmo.
He may just not know.
So she could be like, hey, for next year, consider or add a Venmo,
because that would be super, you'd probably get way more tips if you do that.
Well, Abby, I hope you give him a few bucks.
Oh, I will.
Yeah, I'm going to do it.
Lunchbox.
Merry Christmas, buddy.
Merry Christmas.
Oh, ho, ho.
Apparently if you tip him, you have to tip everybody.
Yeah.
You have to tip us.
You have to tip us.
Yeah.
Let's go over and open up the mailbag.
You send an email every radio.
on the air. It's something we call Bobby's Mailbag. Yeah. Hello, Bobby Bones. I was out recently
doing some Christmas shopping and I ran into a department store, not realizing it was five minutes
before they closed. I knew exactly what I was going in for, but did need to ask an employee
where to locate it. The employee was not helpful and seemed annoyed that I was asking for help.
I got what I went in for. I paid. I left with a few seconds to spare. I didn't think it was
such a big deal. If the sign says they're open, I'm going to go in and shop. I'm going to
I want to know your opinion.
Is it rude to come in five minutes before a store's closing time?
Signed Rebecca.
So I did a bit of retail in my day.
And when it would be 10 minutes before, I'd be like, please don't come in the store.
But you know what?
If someone walked in, they should walk in.
The store is still open.
Aren't you prepared to stay a little late?
Well, what you have to do is clean up after or reorganize shelves or close out.
So yes.
A lot of stores are 24-hour stores, the big box stores.
We weren't. Hobby Lobby wasn't. So we closed at 9. If someone came in at 85, I went, oh, okay, I'm going to handle them. But then I've got to go and you have to fix some shelves, some, you know, displays. It's fine. Just don't linger for 25 minutes after the store's closed.
Right. Yeah. If you're going in at that time, you best know what you need and get it and get out. There's also a difference in going into a store five minutes before closing in a restaurant, five minute before closing. Because a restaurant, you stay.
for 20, 30, 45 minutes and eat.
A store, go and get out.
If the hour says until 9 p.m., you have until 9 p.m.
The end.
We know that working there,
especially at Christmas.
We know that.
A restaurant, if you come in five minutes before close.
Not cool.
We get a little annoyed.
We have the right to be annoyed,
but you have the right to eat
because it is open until an hour.
But please just move.
Please move a little faster
because we have plans to go home to our families.
I start crying.
Remembering how hard it was back in the day.
Come on, man. It's Christmas. Let me out of here.
You're all good. You can go into a store until they close the store.
Feel good. That's it.
We've got your email and we read it on the air.
Now it's about to close Bobby's mailbag.
Fun fact Friday.
Let's go. Amy has curated the most fun facts of the week, five to one.
Number five.
It's crazy to me that we sent people to the moon before we decided to put
wheels on suitcases. The moon landing was in 1969, but the patent for wheels on luggage,
1972. Well, I would say probably it's because there weren't as many people flying.
There wasn't a need for making suitcases super easy to travel with. Why do you have to always
bring the logic? No, no, no, that was fun before you said that. Okay. You're not wrong, though.
That makes sense. Like, I was thinking, gosh, why did it take so long for someone to think
this, but you're right. They probably just
loaded it on the plane. I'm sure
once air travel became easier for the
everyday person and more reasonable,
they were like, well, these suitcases,
they're not fun to carry all the time. Can you imagine
having a suitcase without wheels now?
No, I can't. Terrible. But some people might
have it. One of my suitcase didn't have wheels.
It doesn't? It's like a big bag. I carry it.
Trash it. Well, hers my back every time. I'm like, I'm never using this
again. Number four.
So when Oprah gave each of her audience members a free car,
They all had to pay up to $7,000 in gift taxes.
A lot of them sold the car and made the money.
Okay.
So they sold the car, paid the tax, and came out ahead.
But yes, they had to pay tax on it.
Crazy.
That's life.
That's America.
I know.
Welcome to America, baby.
You got a free gift.
Pay tax on it.
Did you have to pay tax when you went on the prices right in Vegas?
It wasn't enough.
I didn't win enough.
Oh, what did you win?
A microwave.
I think it's probably above a certain dollar.
I took the cash, the cash equivalent.
Yeah, we played the prices right in Las Vegas, and I got picked to go up there.
Then I won the, you know, the, what's that called?
The showcase.
Yeah, no, the contestant's, he was up on the row and he bid, and he got to go up on stage and play one of the games.
And before we walked in, Amy Littenden said, if any of you guys get called and it's not me, I'm going to kill you.
Oh, my goodness.
I got up there.
This story has gotten more dramatic every year.
That's true.
I'm going to kill you.
Yes, exactly what you said.
I'm going to kill you.
Exactly what you said.
Okay.
So Tom Hanks refused a predetermined pay for his roles in Forest Gump and saving Private Ryan.
He said, hey, look, instead of paying me, I just want a percentage from the movies, depending on how well they do.
And good thing he chose that because he got $60 million from Forrest Gump and $40 million from saving Private Ryan.
The interesting thing about Forrest Gump is he ended up paying into that movie at the end because they didn't have enough money to finish the movie or to fly and do the running.
scene. Oh. It was in a whole different spot.
Oh, fun, fun, fun fact. So he paid
and so did Ron Howard. Was
Ron Howard the director of that? No, different guy.
The Zamekis. Yeah. Robert Zemakis. They both paid
into it, convinced the movie company,
made even more money on the outside. Wow, they were
investors. In their own movie.
I like where you took this. Yeah. I'm really on
today. I'm really going out.
Number two. So one in five
country songs refer to alcohol.
One in three refer to tears
and one in seven to mama.
The mama stuff has to be old.
Why?
I don't hear that many Mama's songs anymore.
No, Mama's broken heart.
That's one.
That's old.
I mean, Dustin Lynch...
That's what's old.
Momas broken heart is 15 years ago.
Meanwhile, back in Mama's...
But that's two.
There's been a thousand songs.
Mama tried.
That's really old.
That's really old.
That's really old.
Notties.
Dustin Lynch had won Mama's house.
Mama's house.
But there's so few...
It's not one out of seven these days.
That's got to be an old old old.
I mean, and we're thinking of ones where it's in the title.
This is if they're throwing a mama in in any verbs
I'm calling old pole
I'm calling old pole
Number one
When a male llama
Tries to make a move on a female llama
She'll spit on him if she's not feeling it
Dang
Humans do too right
I don't know
Sometimes they do when they are feeling it
You know what I'm saying
If you're into that
You're done right there you go
Fun Fat Friday

The latest from national
Bill and Hollywood.
Morgan number two's 30 Second Skinny.
Vince Gill released a collaboration with Mickey Guyton for the movie American Underdog soundtrack.
Here's their song called Love Changes Everything.
Russell Dickerson released a lot.
When you start to fall backs against a wall, make you fly, fly, fly, fly.
Love changes everything.
Russell Dickerson released a project called Studio 900 Sessions.
It features stripped back versions of the songs from his album, Southern Symphony.
Here's the acoustic version of Waiting for You.
Ashley Monroe revealed earlier this year she had been diagnosed with a rare form of blood cancer.
She shared on her Instagram that she just finished her last chemo treatment along with a video of her ringing the bell.
I'm Morgan number two.
That's your skinny.
It's time for the good news.
With Amy.
Tell me something good.
So this woman, Rita, she was eating at eye.
Hop. Her server was Jasmine. They got to talking and Jasmine is sharing how she stretched pretty thin,
but she still, you know, was exuding patience, kindness, professionalism, amazing customer service
according to Rita. So she left her $40 for her $30 breakfast that day. That's a $10 tip, more than 20%.
Well, then she asked Rita for her cash app username, boom, slid $500 into her account later on.
Oh, wow.
Yeah.
If I'm a waiter or waitress during the holiday season, I'm definitely airing all my grievances.
Tell your whole life story.
Yeah.
Because I think everyone's feeling a little generous.
A little giving.
And I'm like, man, right, I'm stretched so thin.
I'm making up kids.
Not that she did that.
No, no, no.
But I'm just saying, if I'm listening to this.
And listen, I've worked in, you know, as a waiter before, I'm like, man, it's been a really tough.
I'm just sliding those things in.
Can I tell you part two of this story?
Nah.
All right.
That's, no, yes, you can.
So Rita decided to share this story on Facebook to all of her followers about Jasmine
and encouraged others to contribute if they could.
Boom.
Jasmine has received more than $10,000 from Rita's Facebook community.
You know what?
Now I think about it, I'm a little stretched in right now.
So everybody can listen.
Sitting up here right now, that's a great story.
That is what it's all about.
That was Tell Me Something Good.
It's time to play Easy Trivia.

Amy's morning corny coming up at about 15 minutes.
But to talk on that, Lori from Louisiana.
I have a morning corny for Amy.
What do you call a snowman with a sunset?
six-pack.
An abdominal snowman.
I'm sorry.
I think she means an abdominal snowman.
Yeah, abdominal.
Yeah, which is not how you say, yes, but it's an abdominal is the six-pack snowman.
What's the real snowman?
Abominal.
But what does that even mean?
It's a snowman who abomins.
Good.
Perfect.
I thought you were about to give us a real answer.
I have no idea what abominal means.
Patricia from Tampa Bay
Here we go
I was just wondering
How do we find out
Any meat increase for your show
I only do you have to get excited
I think she's talking about
Strawberry Festival
Eddie and I are playing near Tampa
Strawberry Festival in March
I don't know yet
I think it's Plant City Florida
March 12th thank you
I don't know yet because I don't know
what COVID protocols are happening
Hopefully none
Hopefully they'll be none
And we're just butt-necked on stage
kissing everybody
That'd be great
That's best case scenario
But I'm sure as we get
closer to the show. We'll meet in the middle.
Yeah, we'll have better ideas. But if you guys want to come to that show, Strawberry Festival, March 12th,
get tickets at ragingididates.com. We'd love to see you guys.
Here's Amy's pile of stories.
So I have the most dangerous toy you can give your kids for Christmas this year.
Switchblade. Oh. Wait, what's that? A switchblade.
Oh, a switch. Disney's Switchblade.
I was like, surely he's not talking about an actual switchblade knife. I thought that was like some new scooters.
I got a guess.
Nunchucks.
Oh, Mattel's Taser.
But who get, okay.
Now y'all are just, all right.
No, this is a legit thing that most kids are going to be getting or they already have.
And it's a Razor.
Hasbro's 22.
It's a razor scooter.
Oh, okay.
They have caused 190,000 injuries in the past few years.
And then various types of balls are next on the list with 100,000 injuries.
Because I don't, footballs, baseballs, other types of balls.
And then after that, toy cars like hot wheels are next because if they fall apart, little pieces become choking hazards.
Something scary.
And then frisbees and boomerangs come in next.
If you get a kid a boomerang, expect.
A black eye.
Yeah, expect that kid to not be happy.
I feel like my kid.
Hey, boomerang stink.
Boomerangs, first of all, from like the 70s.
And they never come back at first.
They do not come back.
Yeah, no.
And if they do, if you finally can get them to come back, they come back like a third of the way and fall down.
So, no, don't get a kid a boomerang.
That reminds you of your childhood?
Well, I'd bought a couple boomerings.
I was like, it's going to be awesome.
And then you throw, and first of all, you're just like, you're throwing a rock.
And you're like, well, crap, I got to walk out there and get it.
And then when you finally understand it, it doesn't come back all the way.
And then when you really understand it, it goes back over your head and you got to go chase it again.
I really just wanted to ask that question to help my segue into the next story, which is top smells that take us back to our childhood.
Mowing grass.
That's even a number one, freshly cut grass.
The maintenance on golf courses for a long time where I weeded it to mowed.
And also I had lawn care businesses as a kid from like 10 up.
By a business, I just knocked on doors and said,
Miss Smith, can I mow your yard?
So yes, that's a big one.
Well, the other ones on the top five, along with the freshly cut grass,
pencil shavings, your mother's perfume.
Well, no.
No?
You know what I remember that?
Not for me either.
One, my mom didn't wear perfume.
Two, no.
Yeah.
Okay.
crowns.
You mean crayons?
Crayons. Yeah, what? Yeah, go ahead.
And certain meals that are being cooked, like if you smell that specific meal.
Like for you, maybe it's the fried chicken or chicken fried steak with gravy.
Why do you love that?
It's my favorite, but we didn't have it a lot.
Oh, okay.
Yeah. Boy, this, Amy just like dick and deep today.
No, I want you to feel pain. This is the last show of the year, so I need you to feel pain here.
Wait, what have I done to make you feel pain?
Go ahead.
Okay, well, just a reminder that this weekend,
December 19th, 1883 is finally premiering on Paramount Plus.
That's the prequel to Yellowstone.
Tim McGraw and Faith Hill are in it.
It's so exciting.
Yeah, I'm moderately excited.
Yeah, it looks good.
I'm three episodes of this season of Yellowstone.
I think I will get into the prequel after I finish this season.
Yeah, okay.
And it's funny, I like Yellowstone a lot.
But following succession, the acting is so corny in Yellowstone.
Oh, really?
Well, it's kind of corny anyway.
Like, with Yellowstone, you have to understand it's kind of corny.
They have characters that aren't real.
Right.
Yes, but when you put those two right,
the juxtaposition between those two,
it's like high school theater
versus Broadway.
Wow, that's interesting.
And I was thinking,
and Caitlin goes,
are you noticing that these actors
kind of look like they're just like
junior level compared to the ones?
We just watched,
and I don't know anything about acting,
but yes, you can.
But that are we good.
I look forward to that.
I think McGraw is a real actor.
Yeah, and I've got a clip of Tim
talking about working with faith.
It took a bit to get to see Margaret
and not faith.
I mean, it was, you know, it was interesting to do that scene together
because we felt like we were giving up a little bit of part of our life.
And that scene he's talking about is a bathtub scene.
So he's like, well, now people are basically watching Tim and Faith take a bath.
They're married all good.
All right, I'm Amy. That's my pile.
That was Amy's pile of stories.
It's time for the good news.
With lunchbox.
Stay home there's something good.
Amy Hernandez owns a chick-fil-A in Pennsylvania
and she wanted to do something special for her holiday party
like people that are working.
There's not a lot of employees because of the pandemic.
I wanted to get them great gifts.
So she bought TVs $1,500 Apple gift cards,
and she gave a month's rent to one employee
and a brand new Toyota Raff for.
Wow.
It just continues to get bigger and better.
Yeah, and it was a raffle.
So everybody that worked there,
by the amount of shift,
you work, you got a ticket. And all those tickets go into a bucket. And she'd draw the ticket and
those are the winners. What up! And they didn't even have it on a Sunday. Well, of course.
They're not going to have it on a Sunday. That's right. And you know what she said after everybody
got their gift? My pleasure. Great story. That is what it's all about. That was tell me something good.
Is there anything that you've asked for for Christmas or anything that you want?
Well, I had a really amazing coffee maker on my list, but then I was like, well, I'll just order it real quick for myself.
It already came in. I set it up. It's amazing.
Did you thank yourself?
I did.
Do you wrap it?
Yeah.
A friend came over to use it the other day, or came over for coffee and ended up using it.
And I was like, she's like, when did you get this?
I was like, it's my Christmas present.
To myself.
To myself.
Merry Christmas to me.
What about you?
You know, I found that I have, I don't, I have a wallet and a phone and key.
And I don't need a full backpack
And I don't want to wear a fanny pack
So I need something kind of in the middle
To put all my crap
Like a man purse?
No, I don't want a man purse
But I've told Kaelin
Like I need like a
Satchel of something
Like a messenger bag?
I don't want that muse boy
That's like a...
I don't know
Yeah
I don't want to look like a business purse
I don't want a satchel
I don't want to flip down
Okay
So I just said I need something
Because I'm carrying all the stuff all the time
And I don't have room in my pockets for it
Like I bring a couple waters into work
So I've just kind of put that task on her
find me something cool that I can put over my shoulder.
I don't want to wear it as a fanny pack.
I don't want to wear a fanny pack on my chest.
You know, like the crossover.
Like cool guys do.
I just need, so I think she's on the lookout for that.
I mean, I have heard, Chef's Kiss.
I got it all done there.
That's the one I've got done.
But we got some more Christmas shopping to do.
And we'll do our gift giving segment about an hour from now,
where we bought a gift for somebody on the show, one person.
They can open it.
It's a $50 limit.
and if they like it, they keep it, if they don't like it,
they can go to our pile of gifts that we have here
and choose one of them.
A little hurtful?
Yeah, it could be fun.
Very entertaining.
Greatness.
But that'll happen in about an hour.
All right, let's go over to Amy and get in the morning corny.
The morning corny!
How does Christmas day end?
How does Christmas day end?
With a why.
Okay, that's a fake laugh.
No, it's not.
Christmas Day?
What?
That's how...
I thought that was funny.
Huh.
What was funny about it?
Nothing.
And then you get it.
Okay, fine.
You looking up another one?
Go ahead.
Five seconds, so we have to go.
Brett Elders is coming up.
Uh-oh.
We can't make them wait.
Clock's running.
Just read whatever you see.
Go.
Why did no one bid for Rudolph and Blitzin on eBay?
Why?
Because they were too dear.
What does that even mean?
They were two deer
Two dear? No way you read that right
Why did no one bid
For Rudolph and Blitzen on eBay?
Why?
Because they were two deer
That's funnier than another one
Yeah we don't even get it
Two deer
I don't get it
You said you said read the next one you see it
I know but I don't get it
There's something we're not getting
Two deer
Two deer
Because they were two deer
Bid one bid
One why did no one
bid for, I'm trying to think of...
If you're too dear, you won't bid?
Because they're two deer?
I don't know. Hey, we're just going to play a song.
Oh, that was a disaster.
Have I done the... What do you call the elf that won the lottery?
Have I done that?
What do you call them?
What do you call them?
Wealthy. That's good. That's pretty good.
Let's end with that. Oh, dang. Okay.
On the Bobby Bones show now.
Brett Eldridge.
All right, let's address the elephant in the room, Mr. Brett Eldridge.
And I don't know if this got back to you or not.
And maybe you're upset with me, maybe you're not, I don't know.
Were you upset that I revealed that maybe there's not bourbon in your glass every single show
and that sometimes you just don't want to drink?
On Christmas, actually, there actually is bourbon in my glass.
No, I just don't always drink a lot of it.
Every show, that glass has bourbon in every Christmas show.
I swear, on that.
I'm not saying in the past, I haven't had it where, you know, it wasn't always bourbon.
But on Christmas shows, it's bourbon.
It really is.
You ever got drunk?
Like from drinking bourbon.
Do you ever get a butt?
I don't drink.
Do you ever drink and go,
who I should stop because I'm starting to feel it?
Oh, yeah, absolutely.
And it shows, yeah, it's like if you start feeling a little bit just too loosey-goosey,
you just got it, you got to get away from the glass for sure.
Brett Eldridge is on with us.
His Christmas record is out, and it is amazing.
I say the only Christmas records that I listen to are yours and Casey's.
And I think that's it, huh?
Dan and Shea's new one's pretty good.
Yeah, but I haven't spent any time with it.
It's too new.
Oh, I've spent some time with it.
It's great.
But so is Brett's.
He's the one on here.
We're starting a feud.
Brett Eldridge is on with us.
His album, Mr. Christmas is out.
And do you record this in Nashville, or do you go somewhere cold?
I go to New York City.
But I go in the middle of May.
So there's not, I mean, because, you know, you know how you have to get all the packaging,
and all the photos and all that stuff together
by the time Christmas comes around.
So in the middle of May,
I was putting on a tux going to the studio,
walking down the street in New York.
It's quite an interesting experience.
But if you can get your mindset to go there,
I was in the spirit as much as I could be.
Because you are the Christmas guy,
do people expect elevated gifts from you?
Like, one, you're big artist.
You make a great living.
You're a big superstar.
And two, you are all about,
Christmas. So I'm assuming that when Brett gets Christmas gift, it's got to be a plus.
Yeah. And I take that pressure. I don't take it lightly. So I'm always trying to look for
something interesting and make it unique and make the packaging nice. I can't wrap for crap. So
I'm not a good rapper. So I don't do the rapping, but I do pick out the gifts and try to find
things that that means something and are pretty cool.
It's the most expensive gift you ever got somebody.
Oh man, I don't even know.
That's a good question.
Next year.
Have an answer for next year.
All right.
I was looking at your Instagram and you had posted,
and this is not Christmas related,
but you had posted a poem basically about mental health, anxiety.
How do you decide what's going to be,
because that was a poem versus if you're going to,
to use that inspiration to make a song like creatively why make it a poem and not a song um that
i wrote that like last week or week or two ago that poem and i when i was in boston just kind of having a
just down kind of gloomy day you know the this time of year can be tough at times and and so i wrote
that poem and i was um i was like man this just feels relevant to my life right now and just
all of us really going through these kind of emotions.
I want to get it out there.
And it also leads to another song, actually.
It has nothing to do with the song,
but I have a song that will be coming in the future
that has that kind of sentiment to it.
And I'm always trying to tackle the subject
of allowing yourself to feel instead of pushing it all away
and allow yourself to not be okay and that's okay kind of stuff.
And so that's kind of where.
I was with it. So if I were to take that poem and make it a song.
I actually don't know how that works. That's a really good question. I don't either. If you just
write it on Instagram, I mean, you didn't, you know, it's... I mean, that's a great question.
I don't know the answer to that, but hopefully, I mean, I'm sure you do a great song.
Brett Eldridge, Mr. Christmas is the new Christmas album. There are multiple Christmas album.
So walk me through. You have Mr. Christmas. The last one was called away.
Glow was the first one, and then Glow Deluxe, we had like four or five more, and then, and now Mr. Christmas.
Are you putting out another one next year? Are you already working on that?
I probably won't put out another one next year, but I'll, I might add some stuff to it.
I might do some duets or something. I don't know. I haven't really figured that out, but, you know, I plan to do this until I'm, you know, I was doing the Rockefeller tree lighting a couple of years ago when Tony Bennett was in the dressing room.
next to me. And he was 93. It was 60 years older than me. I was thinking, oh, my God,
he's still singing these songs 60 years older than me. So I could, you know, if I'm fortunate
to live that long and do this that long, I could do this for a whole other 60 years. That sounds
insane to me. So, you know, I plan on making more of these big band records. And, and,
and so I'm just getting it going. I'd like to propose two business opportunities to you right now.
Yeah, okay, okay, Shark Tank. Let's go.
before we wrap this up.
One, not so much for me, but just for you, just looking out for you.
I think for the next album, Grandma got run over by a reindeer.
Not bad.
I was listening to that the other day.
It's classic.
You ever thought about doing that one, or is that a little too kitschy for you?
It's a little too kitschy.
And you know what the...
But the reason is when I heard the other day, that voice, I don't remember who did the song.
I'd love to actually know who did this song.
But the voice, I mean, you can't top...
However, that character of a voice is going on that song, it's just, I'll never be able to do that.
All right.
Oh, for one.
Okay.
The second one actually involves both of us.
Okay.
You know, we're not going to be young forever.
Heck, someone said we already aren't.
But that being said, when you mentioned Tony Bennett, and he's an old fella and he's still making music, and he's still alive.
But he has Alzheimer's, right?
He's just hanging it up now, but he's had a good run.
So when we are into it.
our good run, we open up a theater in Branson. I do the jokes. You do the songs. Oh, I like this.
And then everyone, it's like country music. Oh, yeah. Residence. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Listen, we love Vegas,
but we're going to be old, right? And so, yeah, yeah. But we do comedy and music in Branson
and with all of our, all of our people. Just think about that. We get our own, like, giant cabins and we
get to eat at the buffet every day for lunch.
See, you're at next level.
See, this guy's already thinking about level two.
I just want to sing songs and do jokes,
and he's like turned this into an empire.
Okay, just something to think about.
I'll check back on this in 20 years.
Okay, good call.
You guys check out Mr. Christmas from Brett Eldridge.
Brett, good to talk to you.
Good to talk to you, my friend.
Y'all take care of.
Merry Christmas.
All right.
Merry Christmas, go back.
It's time for the good news.
With Bobby.
Tell me something good.
Charity Galloway recently took in a stray dog
and named it Butter.
She made a shelter next to her house
with an electric lamp to keep the dog butter warm.
Well, one night the electric lamp sparked
and the shelter went up in flames.
Butter then ran outside Charity's bedroom
and just started barking like crazy.
The barks woke her up
and so she gets up and she sees the part of the house
then catch on fire.
But thanks to Butter, Charity was able to get her two kids out.
They got the firefighters there before the house
went completely in flames.
Firefighters.
were there, but they were like, hey, without this dog kind of warning you about this, you'd have lost
everything. So, now they've got butter back to its home, except the butter was named Cooper.
Oh.
No longer butter.
But all of this helped Butter get reunited with the family.
Yeah, that's cool.
Yeah.
And so the dog's original owners recognized Butter as Cooper, who ran away over the summer and
has been gone that long.
Wow.
And now Cooper's back home.
And Butter saved a house.
He lives two lives.
It's a cool story.
My dog definitely wants.
wouldn't do that.
I thought we just run away.
We don't think.
No, trust me.
I love round him enough to know.
All right, that's what it's all about right there.
That was tell me something good.
You guys ready?
Yeah.
We're going to celebrate Christmas here?
Yes, sir.
Well, every year, in some former fashion, we exchange gifts, and
this year we've added a new twist.
It is going to be the Christmas gift exchange
Mystery Box Edition
So we all drew somebody's name
We bought them a gift
We will give them the gift
They'll open it on the air
They'll say what it is
And then they can choose
To keep the gift
Or
To go to the mystery boxes
Because on the stage here in our studio
There are 10 boxes
Inside of those 10 boxes
Are everything from
Well I don't want to tell you
But some of the gifts
Are valued at over $50
There's also a wheel up here.
I like that one a lot.
On the wheel you can win up to $250.
Oh my goodness.
There's a $250, there's a $150, there's a $75 and a $25.
So we can say a box or wheel or...
Inside one of the boxes there's a coupon to spend the wheel.
Oh!
We all got to spend the wheel.
I thought it was going to be like step right up.
Inside the box, inside of one of those boxes there's a coupon to spend the will.
And you could win up to $250.
Wow.
Man, I want that coupon.
Yeah.
You know what I'm going to do?
I'm going to take one of these $1.00.
Oh, yeah, put another $500.
No.
What I'm going to do is I'm going to turn this into two spins.
Yeah.
So if it lands on this, you get the next two spins added up.
I love that.
So I guess that could be $500 lunchbox.
Let's go.
By the way, the company doesn't pay for any of this.
I do.
I just want everybody to know.
This is great, man.
This is just me trying to, you know.
For the record.
I love Christmas.
my people. I love this. All right, up first. Let's just go down the list here. You know what's,
Mike D can't go to the boxes and neither can I. Because you guys know. Because we know.
Well, I've funded the whole thing. Right. So Mike D, we're going to have you get your gift from
Abby first. Do you have it with you? Okay, let's let, let's get Abby's gift to Mike D. And then let's get
also Amy to scuba Steve. Okay. So Mike, you can go and open yours and Amy's getting hers to
Scuba Steve.
All right.
But Mike, you have to keep yours.
I will keep mine.
Mike D, our head writer on the show, if you hear a game.
Odds are he wrote it.
He's got a snowman bag.
All right, taking up the wrap in it.
We have dinner and a movie dice.
Looks like a movie game.
Okay.
Oh, I thought it's a.
And then in the bottom here, it's like a blanket.
Try to unwrap it.
It didn't look good at it.
Scoba, you can already start unwrapping yours.
Okay.
It's like a film slate.
Oh, it's a film slate blanket.
Or a towel.
Yeah.
That's a blanket.
Oh, okay, there you go.
Thanks, Abby.
Do you like it?
Yeah, would you have kept it over the mystery box?
Yeah, definitely would have kept it.
Wait, there's one more thing.
There's one more thing?
Yeah.
It's a coupon for free kiss.
Oh, no.
If you're feeling down, she'll give you a hugging a kiss.
Hey, because that's free, right?
So nice.
And there's a t-shirt.
That says...
That says, quietly judges your taste in movies.
Bam.
There you go.
That's my good job.
Good job.
Thanks, Abby.
Welcome.
All right, so that one's done.
Scuba, Amy, got you what?
Amy goes and hands me here a gift, and she goes,
$50 is so hard.
So it sounds like it's not going to be good.
So I made me take one of those boxes over there.
Scuba Steve is obsessed with like, like, the one thing I know he loves is, like,
cool Nikes, and they're, like, what do you do?
Like, that's just...
Oh, wow, this is pretty cool.
These are really good.
I get these at Costco.
They're the perfect protein bars.
So I like these. Thank you.
They are pretty expensive.
They are pretty expensive.
That's a fake excitement.
They're like four bucks apiece.
Oh wow.
That's great.
I got a candy bar.
I'm still going to get a box.
I use those as filler.
They're supposed to be refrigerated and they're not.
Yeah, they are.
I have that box in the fridge all night.
I'm just kidding.
What's in that box, Steve?
I'm about to find out.
It's a big black box.
And inside of it, there is...
Oh, wow.
It's popcorn.
Oh, this is really cool.
Jordan slides.
Oh, yeah, that's cool.
Yeah.
It's nice.
I like these.
Actually, I could use another pair
because one I have now, I slept in dog poop, and I don't play cleaning it.
What size do you wear?
13, and these are size 13.
I hit up his wife on DMs.
Well, crap for me, because if you didn't keep them, I have to keep 13.
Big slides.
I know.
Because anything that you guys go to the mystery box for, I keep the gift.
Let me try them on real quick.
If they're comfortable, I'm going to keep them.
Okay.
Go to the box.
Go to the box.
I mean, I hate to be, I know you guys want the box.
You want to do that whole premise, but I like these a lot, and I need new slides.
Yay.
And it's a very thoughtful gift.
He puts some heart into this and I appreciate that.
So I'm going to keep this and thank you very much, Amy.
Okay, nice job.
Steve does not go to the box.
Wow.
That makes me happy.
All right, so let's get a couple gifts to their places.
Let's go.
Mike, do you give your gift to Eddie?
Oh.
And Eddie give your gift to Amy.
Amy, you've got it already.
That's the black one right there.
Wow.
You guys, go ahead and open them.
We don't need the full play-by-play.
You got it.
Amy's this big.
From Amazon.
Don't yell what it is quite yet.
Eddie, what do you see there?
Oh, I see a Dallas Cowboys Super Bowl Champions hat.
This is a future hat.
This is a, like if they win the Super Bowl, this is the hat.
Oh, wow.
This year?
That's what I'm talking about.
Why do they make the hat?
I don't know, but I love it.
That's a little foreshadowing is what that is.
Oh, it could be jinxing it, though.
And then it's coffee.
Okay.
From Costa Rica.
Thank you, Mike.
Costa Rican coffee.
Okay, Eddie.
I'm going to think about this.
Okay, I come back to you in a second.
Ready?
Amy, go ahead.
Okay, I open mine and it's a bird feeder.
Amy's is from Eddie, yeah.
A solar bird feeder, so I guess it's also a light.
So the light is powered by the sun.
That's right.
The light will be on all night.
For the birds.
For the birds.
24-7.
So I can watch them.
That's really pretty.
Oh!
Oh!
You got me a lick'em!
What?
Yeah, tell them, Amy.
It's a lickum.
It's a cat scratcher that you put in your mouth and it's like you're licking your cat,
but you're scratching them.
And it's for bonding.
Yeah. Isn't that cool?
Yes, like, look, watch.
She's going to demonstrate on you, Bobby.
No, but you put it in your mouth.
You stop it.
Stop it. Stop it. Stop it.
It doesn't feel like a tongue, though.
It's intimate.
You can do that without a mouth.
It doesn't have to feel like the tongue.
It's the process of, like, you know,
helping your soothe your cat, but like with your body.
That's right. You like it, Amy, right?
I do.
Okay, Eddie, you have a hat and some coffee.
Would you like to go to the mystery box?
where you could have a shot of $500.
Bobby, Mike D, I really appreciate your gifts.
I think they're so thoughtful and so nice.
But I don't even have a coffee machine now.
I have a curing, so I have no use for this.
I love the hat, but Bones, I think I'm going to go to a box.
Hey, you want to know what a poser fan he is?
This is a Super Bowl hat from 1996 vintage, and that's Bobby's.
Oh, I got a vintage hat.
You don't even know.
You don't even understand what that hat was.
Great gift, Mike D.
I love that he just Googled while we were doing all the good.
I looked at it was like, that looks like it's old.
I was put on the spot.
I got a good hat.
Okay, you got a good hat, bones?
I have a chance for $500, baby.
Okay, okay, hold on.
Hold on.
Amy, are you going, and don't worry about hurting feelings because Eddie just hurt Mike D's.
Right?
Right, it's Christmas.
That's what you do.
Would you like to go to the box?
Oh, yeah, I'm going to a box.
Oh!
I mean, I really want this, but kind of already ordered one for myself.
See, there you go.
It's so creepy
And I have like tons of bird feeders
This one is really cool
But if Bobby keeps it
I think it'll be awesome
Because Bobby can watch birds
All night
I know I have to take a bunch of garbage home
Is your idea bud
I'm thinking about this
Okay
So Amy will go to the box
Eddie will go to the box
Come on
Hold on not yet
Oh what what?
There are 10 boxes up there
On the stage
Just tell me what number of box
You're going to take Eddie
How me?
See here
Yeah you can't touch them
Can't touch them
Let me see here
Oh.
Okay, so I'm thinking can of corn, so there's some that just obviously are not can of corn.
Give me number eight.
Ah, that might be a can of corn, but I'll go eight.
Are you sure you want eight?
This is your last chance.
You can change it if you want.
Oh, I can change it if I want.
Okay, give me number nine.
Okay, Eddie has chosen nine.
Five.
Don't hand it to him quite yet.
Five.
And Amy has chosen five.
Five.
Okay, so what we'll do is we'll come back after the book.
break, and you guys can open up your two gift boxes. Eddie 9, Amy 5, and then we will open up
gifts. I'll open it up from Scuba. Ray will open up from Morgan. Okay, we'll be back at one second.

You can watch all this on Facebook.
We're live right now.
So we have cameras in the studio on all the walls, multiple angles.
Eddie's job is to switch so you can see what's happening here.
We're about to have two people go to the stage.
Eddie, can you show the stage right now?
Absolutely.
There are 10 boxes.
Those are the mystery boxes.
And both Amy and Eddie have decided to go to the mystery boxes.
Eddie had got a great gift from Mike D.
You're wearing it.
I'm now wearing the hat that Eddie got.
You're rubbing it in my face and you're wearing it in the studio.
But you've decided to change this hat and you're
coffee, and I'll take that coffee too, for
a mystery box.
That's right. It's a hard decision,
but I made it. And you've chosen number
nine? Correct. Eddie, here's a deal I'll give you
right now. Oh my goodness.
I've got a visa gift card for... It's always a deal.
For $47. Now, it was
it 50, but I wanted to make sure it worked.
So we spent three bucks this morning?
I'll give you this gift card to not go to the box.
Oh, man.
So the gifts that Mike got me
all totaled $50.
But you didn't get to choose those. And you're giving me
40. I have a $47
Visa gift card. Bones, I love your offer
but I'm going to pass. Are you sure? Yes.
Okay, Eddie go to the box. Come on.
Come on. Bobby, you a big Cowboys fan?
Nope. Yeah.
Wond my butt with this later.
Oh my gosh. Eddie.
Dang, it's really light.
That means you got it. That's the ticket to spin.
It's really like.
It was the one I had in my mind.
You're right. It could be good. It's really light.
It feels like there's nothing in here.
That means it's a gift.
Oh, it's something.
What is it?
Really?
No, it's something in the box.
Oatmeal crumbles.
But.
Apple oatmeal crumbles.
But that would be here.
It's taped.
It's not really oatmeal crumbles.
Hold it.
Piece of paper that says,
Spin the wheel of gas!
Let's go!
Merry Christmas!
I have the worst luck in the world.
Eddie, on this wheel.
Yeah.
There's 75 bucks, $150 bucks, $250.
Oh, that's what I want right there.
And there are also some $1 ones.
There's also a,
two spins, which means if you hit that, you get the next two spins added together.
Okay.
We're ready?
Is there another spin one up there?
Is that it?
I'll spin it for him.
Ready?
Yeah, Bobby's spinning for me.
Alright, Bones, when you're ready, dude.
Are you ready?
When you're ready.
Let's spin that wheel!
Come on, one dollar.
Come on.
Come on.
Oh, one dollar.
The one space away.
That's one away from 250.
One dollar, Eddie.
Dude, you need to feel my heart right now.
Like, it is pounding.
You gave all this way for $1.
Oh, that's it?
That's right.
That's it.
It's one spin.
Oh, what?
You get a dollar.
You know what?
Good job.
Money's money.
I'll take the dollar.
Okay, I'll bend moat to you now.
You're binmoing a dollar?
Yeah.
I think the fee is more expensive than that.
Amy.
Yes.
Oh, that is awful.
You have chosen box number five.
Yes.
Now, I will make you the same deal.
Oh.
Would you like a $47?
gift card? No, I want the box. Are you sure?
Yeah, I'm sure. Would you like
a $47 gift card and maybe
a spin on the wheel? Oh! Now he's talking.
Is it because 5 is
the corn? It's up to you.
I don't know. I just like the excitement
of the box. She's taking the box. Box number
five. She's passed up $47 and a
spin on the wheel. What's it feel like?
Is it heavy? She's got
box number five. She got a gift card.
Something. I don't know
what this is. Like there's something. There's something shaking.
So it's not a piece of paper.
Beauty begins with truth.
That's true.
What's true?
What's you get?
What'd you get?
What did you get?
What did you get?
What is it?
They're going to hate me.
They're going to hate me.
What did you get?
They're just going to hate me.
I mean, it is what it is.
A hundred dollar gift card.
Dang it.
It says.
It's like the...
I don't even want to say it.
Wow.
And Merryest Christmas to me.
Hey, you know what?
As a special Merry Christmas.
No, don't even.
You can keep your lick thing.
Oh, thank you.
Because I don't even want to put that my car.
I already put my mouth on.
Okay.
Okay.
All right.
So next gift up.
Morgan number two, I got you a gift.
Yeah.
It is from Caitlin's favorite
appellee pleasure store crew, C-R-U-E.
Crew is good.
All right.
I saw that bag in immediately.
I saw you eyeball the bag as it was being curious.
Oh,
I know.
So Morgan is getting this gift
Fancy bag bones
Yeah
Do you do that?
No
No the owner of the store
Yes
I do love me a good hoodie
Thank you
You're welcome
I love it
Would you like to keep it or go to the box?
I would like to keep it
This is very soft
Nice
Nice
Why would I go to a box
It's more fun
I don't want a can of corn
I got a hoodie
Yeah no that's a good hoodie
All right Morgan has decided
to keep her gift
Merry Christmas Morgan
Thank you.
I will open my gift from Scova, Steve.
I can't go to the box.
Right.
So you're stuck with that.
And then Ray, you have your gift from Morgan in a second?
Yeah!
Go ahead and open it up.
All right.
Okay, scuba has given me a picture.
And in this picture, there's a shipping cart,
and one of the carts is circled, and it says here,
which I'm guessing that's where my gift is.
Oh, my goodness.
I ordered this a long time ago, and there's supply chain demands, 2021.
There's a lot of shortage of truckers in the road.
road, so unfortunately your gift will come in
next year. Do I get to know what it is?
No. I want you to wait
until you get it. Because if it were
I'm trading it for a box.
You don't want to trade it for a box. You're going to get this
and it's probably going to be the greatest gift you've gotten in a long time.
And nobody else would want it except
for you. Nothing Arkansas related.
From an electronics company.
Okay, so I'm just going to, okay.
What? The calculator.
We need to know.
Ti-94.
Okay. Thank you, Scoob. I have no
what I'm thinking you for.
You will be.
That shipping container.
You got a whole shipping container.
Ray Mundo, you have your gift from Morgan?
Yeah, yeah.
Go ahead.
Some scissors on this bad boy.
It looks like a custom sign.
I'm scissoring it right now.
Cizzing is scissoring it.
What's what I'm talking about?
Dang him, too.
How'd you think I was going to get into this?
Now,
I had to keep it down.
If you're just turning the show on,
Ray can either keep the gift
or trade up for one of the boxes on stage.
Oh my gosh.
Are you serious right now?
win too. Abby, you have a gift
from Lunchbox and Lunchbox has one from Ray Mundo.
Yeah. Okay. You guys go ahead and open your
gifts and I'll come to you and we'll figure out what they are. I want you to get them opened.
All right. Lunchbox put mine in my own
rapping. What do you mean? Like that I gave to Mike D.
He put his own like in he didn't even wrap it. No, I did wrap it.
There's in a bag in there. Just calm down.
It just, yours was nicer.
Ray's got it open. Ray, what you got?
Yeah, and it's now in bubble wrap.
This is taking a moment.
Ray trades in it now without even seeing it.
I'm being very careful with this.
This is delicate.
Oh my gosh.
If it is what I think it is, this is sick.
And I'm definitely not turning it in,
but I'm still going through the bubble wrap.
So hold on me real quick.
Lunchbox, what do you have over there?
Lunchbox's got his gift from Ray Mundo.
It's very quiet.
It's a blue and white box.
And it says,
Clear Rear, the butler.
Oh.
So it's a butt cleaner?
I'm trying to figure it out.
Oh, it's a bidet.
Oh, it's a clean bomb club.
It's a clean bomb club?
That's what it says.
Nature calls clear the rear is the premium answer.
What is that?
Is it a bidet?
It's a bidet.
Okay, lunchbox, you keeping it?
Let me tell you, guys.
I've been to Vegas.
I've used those bidets.
But, man, I look at those gifts up there, and I got it.
Is there anything over $100 up there?
I'm just telling you you have a chance to win up to $500.
Whoa, there's more spins.
I'm in!
Let's go!
Oh, there's another spin up there.
There's another coupon for a stand.
I wouldn't lunch.
Are you going to the box?
I'm going to the box.
I'm going to the box.
You can have a clean butt.
You can have a clean butt.
Amy, will you hand me my new bidet, please?
Oh, man.
All right, lunchbox, what number are you picking before you go up there?
Three.
Three!
Lunchbox is chosen number three.
Ray, yo, what do you got?
I got a Sisson sign.
I wanted to light it up, but I don't have the time to do that.
I mean, it's legit.
It's literally something you throw in a bar,
and it says Sizon, incursive.
It's going to be neon lights.
It's going to blink.
It's probably going to have.
every color. Why would I ever give this up? That is my name. It's on my birth certificate.
No, it's not. Are you keeping it?
Yeah!
All right, Ray's keeping his. Abby, you have a gift from lunchbox.
Thank you, Morgan.
You're welcome. Can I go straight to the box? I'm just kidding.
I'm getting nervous. I don't care.
Oh my, he didn't, you did not get this. Singing for dummies.
Are you actually?
What?
That's it? That's so mean.
No, no, hold on. Everybody says I don't support Abby and I'm seeing.
rude to her. And let me tell you.
What would it even say?
Singing for dummies is a way to improve
your singing. You want to get better at singing.
I'm trying to look out for it. You want to make a
career. You want to get yourself played on the radio.
That is going to help you.
I mean, actually, it could help.
Working your breath control. Okay.
Okay, Abby, are you going to keep singing for dummies
or go to the box? I'm going to go to a box.
Okay, so we have two boxes here. Lunchbox is chosen.
Box three. Abby, which
box would you like? Oh, shoot. Okay, can you show them?
Okay. I'm going to say,
four.
All right, so box three and four.
Lunchbox.
Yeah.
You're up.
All right, let's go.
Get your box, buddy.
Let's go.
Hey, singing for dummies, that's a good gift.
Would you like to trade for a $47 gift card?
No chance.
No chance.
Man.
That's heavy.
Hold on.
Would you like to trade for a $47 gift card and a $50 gift card?
Why do you have all these gift cards up there?
Man, that's 97.
But if you don't take that one, you have to give that one to Abby.
And she'll get two gifts.
But she'll get hers and she'll get that.
What?
She gets two gifts!
No!
It's what you pay.
Oh, no!
So you can have $97 in gift cards.
Or you can have that gift, but you have to give that exact gift to Abby.
Man, because then it's like going to be a trip to the Bahamas.
His mic's not on for some reason, guys.
He's just yelling.
A trip to the Bahamas.
And I'm going to give it to Abby, and I'm going to hate her even more than I do right now.
for rejecting my gift.
Going once.
Going twice.
You've chosen the box.
You've chosen the box.
Sold.
What? I was listening to Amy Chalk.
Amy was blabbering.
You're plenty of time.
There you go.
That's okay.
Hey, do you want the 97?
No.
Okay.
No.
Okay.
No.
You're baited me into a bad decision.
Go on once?
Going twice?
Sold.
No $97.
Yeah.
Okay.
The Grundy conni auction is closed.
The Grundy County.
All right, lunchbox is opening up box number three.
Oh my goodness is gonna be awesome.
It's heavy?
Oh, it's heavy, man.
Keep going.
Oh my goodness!
Oh my goodness!
I win!
Hold on!
I win!
I win!
I win!
What is it?
Tell him what it is.
Oh, sit down.
Oh, I saw his Apple logo.
I win! I win!
Open it up.
I want an iPad!
What?
I got an iPad!
Yeah!
But open it!
Is it really?
Ah
It's apple sauce
This is amazing
This is amazing
I'm so glad
Good choice
Good choice
This is amazing
Why don't have the worst luck in the world
Why don't have the worst luck in the world
Oh my gosh
Okay, hey, it's two apples sauces
This is great
It's an apple product
Yes, it is. Yes, it is.
Oh.
Oh, my gosh.
And when he picked it, I LOL, and then I tried to give him $97 twice.
And he didn't take $97.
Why do I have the worst luck in the world?
I won.
See, this is so stupid.
Oh, I'm excited to see what's in box number four for Abby.
And then I knew if I said, hey, at lunchbox, you have to give that to Abby, though, if you lose.
I knew I'd reel him right
What I wanted them
You got him
Hey he's playing chess
I was playing 3D checkers
Baby
Wait I did the wrong one
Whatever
Yeah 12 them up
Okay
Woo
Loungebox
What's up
Man
See this Christmas show
Always
It's out to get me
Like I got the dollar
That one time
In the envelope
You pick that though
You pick everything
No one told you to pick number three
Like why
How do I get the bad luck
Every single time
Every time
You also have
a chance to win $97.
I'll take it.
No.
What the hell it works.
Abby, you have number four.
You can have number four, or I'll offer you $97.
Oh, wow.
Wait, what?
Really?
Yeah, two Visa gift cards for $97 here.
Or you can have number four.
I feel like it's going to be corn.
I feel like fours.
I will tell you this.
I'll tell you this.
It is not corn.
Don't tell her that.
Don't give her that option.
You didn't tell me this wasn't an apple sauce.
No, I don't like this.
$97 or box four.
And if you don't choose box four,
I'll give it to lunchbox.
Yes!
Yeah, Abby.
Let's go.
Oh, then I'm going to do that 97.
$97.
So I got four?
You have four lunchbox.
Yes, let's go.
Okay.
I'm back in the game.
Abby, come get your $97.
Yeah.
Because I was going to make hers go to you.
I'm making yours go to.
That's called fair.
There you go.
Life is fair.
It's called fair.
Open it up.
Now life is fair again.
Yeah.
Back, baby.
This guy is like a roller coaster.
This is what you missed out on.
You can't even see.
Open it up.
Was it heavy lunch?
No, it's like a $100 gift card or something or $200.
Okay.
Maybe $500.
What is it?
It's a my little pony, like water ink thing.
Good job.
Happy.
I'll buy the Christmas for you, Lund.
Okay, we're over time.
I'm like dizzy from laughing so much.
You guys can call us 877-77-B-O-B-B-W-Y.
Abby, congratulations on your $97.
Thank you so much.
You're welcome.
You're welcome.
A lot better than singing for dummies.
And lunchbox, you got yourself My Little Pony Colorin' Book,
and you got yourself some applesauce for the kids.
You're back in third grade.
Congratulations.
All right, we're back in one second.
All right, I'm going to give you guys one more chance to get at a box.
Yes.
What? Come on.
Last chance.
20 bucks.
So all the gift giving is over.
Some of us kept our gifts.
Some of us traded the gifts in for a box.
All hilarious.
Go back and listen on the podcast.
But what I have here, I keep the game blank slate at my desk.
I love the game blank slate.
So what I'm going to do is play individually with each of you.
If we match words, you get to go pick a box of your choice.
Okay, we can do this.
We can do this.
Wow.
We can do this.
Yeah.
Okay.
And I'm going to try.
Try your best.
And so what I'm going to do, though, to make sure I'm not affecting a weird word on purpose,
I'm going to see the card and the word.
Yeah.
Everybody write their answer down.
I'll then draw your name.
Okay.
That way you don't think I'm trying to, like, make sure Ray doesn't win.
Does that make sense?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Okay.
The first word is, by the way, blank slate's a really fun game.
You guys should check it out.
Blank dance.
Blank dance.
I'm going to write down the word.
that goes in the blank for me.
And I'm going to go.
Everybody in?
Yeah.
Yeah.
In.
Okay?
Come on.
Draw me, dude.
Drawing?
Let's go.
The person I'm drawing is Scuba Steve.
Scuba, what did you write down?
I was just thinking about Garth Brooks and I put down last dance.
I put down last dance.
Yeah, all right, cool.
But Garth Brooks...
It's the dance.
Oh, whatever.
Maybe think of that, whatever.
It worked out.
So, thank you.
Because that is the last dance they're doing.
But I'd have to miss the dance.
Yeah, see, I read into the lines.
Scuba.
Come get you a box, buddy.
As he's getting a box, we'll play another round.
Come on.
Come on.
Hey, what number are you taking?
I'm going to go with number eight.
All right.
Take number eight and just hang out for a second.
Remember, Eddie, that's the one that you picked.
But then you changed your mind.
I know, I know, and I got a dollar.
I got a dollar, yeah.
Next up.
Better and applesau.
Snake blank.

High school soccer, I was number two.
So?
You gonna go with two?
Come on.
Oh man, this is tough.
10 looks good too though.
Because I am a 10.
When ladies look at me, they see a 10.
Start counting down.
Five seconds.
Four, three, two.
Two, two or ten.
Two or ten.
Two or ten.
Which is what I do?
I think you should do 10.
Don't listen to him.
Don't listen to him.
What do you guys say?
I don't.
I mean, two is your soccer number.
I know, but I have a 10.
And Bobby said 10.
Okay, you can't trust that.
Yeah, but he's doing the reverse.
I caught you.
I'm talking.
I thought he does that.
I think you need an answer.
Five, four, three.
Two, two, I got to go two.
I got a single one guy.
I was number two in soccer.
In my junior year, I kept the jersey all year.
Are you sure?
It's your last chance to change.
Oh, man.
I think you should go 10.
Rico.
But who cares what I said.
He's like, back of 97.
It's 98, but yeah.
Okay.
I think you should go 10.
Oh, man.
Oh, man.

What's in 10 is a spin on the wheel.
No.
No.
Okay.
No.
No, no, no.
You can have 10.
I will promise you 10's a spin of the wheel.
You have two and a half minutes.
No, I'm going.
Oh man, $250, though.
About $500, though, possible.
Oh, man.
No, two must be dynamite.
Or am I setting you up to film again?
No, no.
Dynamite, like, isn't good?
Yeah, like dynamite.
Like, he's trying to get me to go to that wheel
because he knows that's worth more.
Can we just come back at the top of the hour?

Oh, cool.
Okay.
Lunchbox.
Yeah.
You have two boxes left up there to choose from.
Yeah.
10 and 2.
10 and 2.
And I tell you right now, 10 is spinning the wheel.
And you can spend this wheel and went up to 500 bucks.
Okay.
How about I buy Box 2 for 20 and I spin the wheel on 10?
No, we're not.
I'm not, you don't get to make the deals.
I make the deals.
Good try, though.
So are you picking a box 10, which is for sure a spin of the cash?
Or box 2.
Are we ever going to find out what's into?
I don't know. You don't get to know right now.
Give me 10.
You want 10.
I want the money.
You're changing your mind.
Are you confirming right now that you are, I need you to lock it in.
You want 10.
Say lock it in, it's in.
Oh my gosh.
Lock it.
All right.
All right.
Two was a $50 target gift card and a $50 visa gift card.
$100.
$100.
We told you to go with two.
Okay, so now lunchbox.
See, you told yourself.
to go with two. He still has a chance to win more money
though, so you can go and open if you want to see the coupon.
Every minute?
I'll tell you what, I'll give you a chance to trade
that box. You can trade box 10 for
what, one, six, and seven, the only ones left.
But why is he doing that? I mean, but one of them's torn.
See, the last time he told me I should take 10.
He tricked me again. This is your chance. You led me astray.
This is, you can either take the spin of the will or you can have
one, six, and seven. The other three left.
I can have all three of them? Yeah.
Man, guys.
Oh, that's a tough one.
No, I got a spin.
Okay, I got to spin.
Go ahead and take that number 10 box.
Don't tell me it's something good.
In box one was a $20 scratch off inside of a can of corn and a $50 visa gift card.
No! No! I avoided it because it was the biggest one. It was obviously the corn.
Number six was a kettle. Number seven was corn.
Number seven was the corn.
Corn.
All right.
So lunchbox, you can go
and pull that out.
You can see the coupon.
I got it.
It says spin the wheel of cash.
Let's go.
Let's turn this mojo around.
Get in a better move, guys.
So on the wheel of cash,
you can win anything from,
I mean, you really could win
$500.
I know.
That's why there's a $250,
there's a $1.50, a $75, and a $25.
At this point, I want him to win.
There's also a lot of ones.
Let's go.
Are you ready?
I'm ready to spend the
We'll, baby.
Come on.
We're ready.
Like, what are you?
You're cheering for me to win something, right?
I've given you 94 chance.
I know.
I've got to give you more and more everything.
Let's go.
Let's spin that wheel.
Come on, baby.
Christmas.
Ho, ho.
Bobby Claw!
Oh, man.
It was on 250 in the last click.
Oh, my God.
To one dollar.
I'm dizzy.
Oh, my goodness.
Screaming is literally like making me dizzy.
How does this happen?
I can't.
I can't believe that.
Yes, of course.
I can't believe that.
I mean, that hung on there.
Like, is like, oh.
I mean, what?
Can you make a video of just that?
Can we save that from that?
Of course I can.
Oh, my goodness.
Literally just that.
I hate that.
That's Christmas.
I can't believe that.
After all that, you got yourself $1.
That is amazing.
You got that close.
He had every chance.
I mean, he was offered like,
$300 in things. He just never took anything.
No. See, this is the lesson,
Lunchbox. What's the lesson, Amy?
Well, let me say this. He bought Abby a mean book.
No, no, no, no. No, no. That was not mean. That is a honest attempt to help her improve her singing.
Why not get her a book like, learning to sing by Luciano Pavarotti?
Tapping into your full potential.
Because she's a beginner. She ain't Pavarotti. Okay.
Mike, will you want to give that dollar?
There you go, buddy.
There's a dollar. Merry Christmas.
I hate my life. I mean, I just.
You hate your life.
You have three healthy children, a beautiful life.
This is what happens.
Like, nothing good happens to me.
Actually, a lot of good things have happened to you.
The lesson for sure, bones, is that greed gets you every time, huh?
That's it.
And if it doesn't get you immediately, it gets you worse later.
There you go.
There you go.
Bobby goes, I really think you should take 10.
I really think you should take 10.
You almost won 250 bucks.
I know, but I would have had how much $100?
But before we went to the break, you were going to pick two.
I know.
That you, you.
And I took you both directions.
Yeah.
places, bad places. I was just taking your places.
You were like, I gotta go with my gut. It's gonna be two.
My sucker number. And then...
I didn't change my number for 22 years. No, I didn't.
I didn't. My junior year, I kept my jersey
entire year so I could have number two again my senior year.
Bobby Boneshow.
Bonehead. Norrie of the day.
This story comes from Nicholsville,
Kentucky. Police
responded to a noise complaining at a house,
talking to the homeowner, and he goes, I wasn't
make any noise. I was just shooting my gun.
And he proceeded to shoot his
his gun twice into the couch by the cops were there.
I would bet this is a guy too that shouldn't have a gun.
Meaning a lot of the times we have gun stories.
They're like, and he also had a felony and was not able to have a gun.
Is this saying anything about that?
No, but then they did find a marijuana grow operation.
See, my point is, it's never just a person who's only dumb thing as a gun.
This guy.
Usually being dumb with guns is part of a bigger issue.
Okay.
I'm Lunchbox. That's your Bonehead Story the day.
Because we were knee-deep in Christmas festivities this morning,
we did not get to the news.
But we will get to it now.
Let's go.
Bobby's Big.
Stories.
A guy gains more weight drinking alcohol for a week than he did eating KFC for a month.
Whoa.
That shows you.
That shows you if you're drinking a lot of beer, that's worse than eating a lot of bad food.
Connor Visser, the founder of I Can.
I will, an organization that uses celebrities and influencers to promote mental health
is doing experiments on his own body to test weight and the health impacts.
And so he ate nothing but food for KFC for a month.
He gained about two pounds every three and a half days.
However, he drank a minimum of eight to 12 drinks every day.
And after seven days, he's already put on more weight than he did for that entire month of KFC.
Tell me about eight to 12 drinks.
What does that mean?
That's a lot.
That's a lot.
I don't, I'd pass out for sure.
Yeah, I don't do that anymore.
This is a drink to me.
No, I think he means actual drinks.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Like a whole beer.
If it was 8 to 12 gulps, he'd be fine.
So eight beers a day?
Yeah.
Could you guys pull that off?
Uh-uh.
No way, man.
It's so gross.
We got families.
Yeah.
Could you back in the day day?
Yeah, totally.
Every day, though.
Every day.
Probably.
Hobby Lobby will offer full-time pay of $18.
$0.50 per hour to its employees,
beginning January 1st, 2022.
In addition to the 1850,
Hobby Lobby will continue to offer,
and they list a lot of benefits as well.
This is from Fox Business,
but I looked it up.
When I worked with Hobby Lobby,
$6.15 an hour.
Oh, wow.
Yeah, I worked my way up to $6.15 an hour
because I was pretty good at my job.
Although I wasn't there,
I worked probably four to five days a week,
but my schedule was a little weird
because I was also playing Legion baseball.
So I was traveling playing baseball.
but they were very accommodated in my schedule.
So any day I didn't travel and play ball, I worked.
So still five or six days, probably four to five days.
But there were some weeks where I didn't work at all,
and some weeks where I didn't take a day off.
It's nice of them.
You know, me, always on the grind.
But when I worked my way to the register,
living life.
What was minimum back then?
Like four?
No idea.
I don't know.
You know what?
Me?
I didn't even look at this.
I just worked hard.
Looked at the check when I got it.
I knew I was putting in my hours.
And I was going to end up making more money if I just worked hard.
Another FedEx driver has been accused of dumping packages
that were supposed to be delivered to customers.
Oh my goodness.
Don Trail Weaver has been slapped with larceny and littering charges
after a witness saw him pulled to the side of the road
and then do a dozen packages in the woods.
Fortunately, another driver was able to recover the packages
and get them to their final destinations.
Over 70 to be exact.
What?
FedEx says this kind of behavior is unacceptable.
From W-L-O-S.
And are you already making excuses?
59% of Americans think New Year's
resolutions will be harder to keep in 2022 than 2021.
More than two-thirds of Americans plan to spin less on New Year's this year than last year.
81% of Americans, that just goes on to a bunch of stats.
I don't give a crap about it.
But I will say, here's my tip about New Year's.
Everybody wants to make a resolution because there is a break and it's a reset, right?
And do we stick with them for a whole year?
No.
But even if you do it for a little bit, right?
That's good. That's good.
But here's what I would recommend.
make your New Year's resolution to January 31st.
That's the end of it.
And if you get to that point, you should celebrate that like I did it.
And if you get to that point, you feel good about it,
then you can roll it over to another month.
But you never accomplish anything big by making your only goal, that end goal.
You've got to, not just resolutions, anything you want to do, run a marathon,
move up at Hobby Lobby, anything you want to do, you have to set tiny goals to make big things happen.
When I run, I hate running.
And I don't even run right now.
But when I do run, I've done a couple triathlons of, you know, sometimes I run around 10 miles once.
And for me, that's forever.
But I couldn't run a mile at a time.
I had to run tree to tree or tree to stop sign.
Because if I'm like, I have to run three miles from here, I would be disheartened.
I'd be like, this stinks.
I'm never going to make it.
But when I'd see that tree, I could run to that tree.
Set that date for January 31st.
And then if you finish it and you feel good, great.
You don't have to do it anymore.
But if you do want to keep going, keep going.
Also, here's the resolution you should make before New Year's.
watch me on New Year's Eve night on CBS hosting Nashville's New Year's Eve.
We can do that.
That's when you can accomplish.
Turn it on.
Easy.
Yes.
All right, that's the news.
Thank you.
That's right.
Bobby's Day.

No, we got one Monday.
We have one Monday.

Yeah, we have one Monday.
Okay.

We will have a new one on Monday.
