Starting point is 00:00:35 The Disneyland resort is everything. We came to play the Calliway. It felt like I was in the round-up game with Woody at Pixar Pier. Have you been holding out on us? No, just showing you where the real Hollywood stars are. Like Tiana's Bayou Adventure. Oh, there's jazz, right?
Starting point is 00:00:50 And a drop. You'll see. Grab a Mickey Brussels on the way. Girl, you'll read in my mind. We're almost there. Disney California Adventure Park and Disneyland Park. We came to play. Both part tickets and reservations require subject to restrictions change and cancellation without notice.
Starting point is 00:01:03 Visit Disneyland.com for details. And now for a bit of breaking news between your breaking news. With me, the Geico Gecko. Here are some things you ought to know today. People who switch their car insurance to Geico save about $900 a year. Experts are calling that nice to know. Also, plants can hear when bees buzz. My phycus just heard that.
Starting point is 00:01:24 And finally, animal experts have confirmed that goats have regional accents. I'm getting a hint of Irish then. It feels good to get good news. It feels good to Geico. The Bobby Bones post show pre-show. All right, Tuesday's show is over,
Starting point is 00:02:11 and what we do is we just turn on the mics and keep talking. Sometimes about what we talked about during the show, sometimes things we didn't get to, and sometimes it just kind of goes where we want it to go, or don't want it to go. Let me say this. They put out a story yesterday, this is more of a thank you segment,
Starting point is 00:02:28 that we have the biggest podcast on IHartRadio of all the shows, podcast, every radio show, everything. We have the number one one podcast. Wow. We finally beat Will Ferrell, which we were at number two or number three for a while and we finally beat out Will Ferrell. It says Ron Burgundy one, right? Yeah. That's awesome. So yeah, we have the biggest podcast. That being said, and so thank you guys. If you're listening to this right now, you're either on the podcast or you're watching on Facebook Live. So really, thank you. Because we come in, we just do our deal and you guys are the one spreading it and listening to the show, even the radio show.
Starting point is 00:03:01 We're so grateful. And I got a message back from our boss. And I don't, we're in so many cities that I don't normally look at ratings because it's just like they're over 100 cities. I can't look at everybody's ratings. The last three or four months, man, we're so, we've been so lucky. Oklahoma City, Baton Rouge, Louisville number one, Richmond, just on and on. Nashville, Austin.
Starting point is 00:03:25 Like, our ratings have been so good the last three, four, five months, bigger than they've really ever been. and so things are rocking and we owe it to you guys so thank you for listening and sharing with your friends. Anything you like to say, Amy? Man, just thank you. That's awesome here. I didn't know all that.
Starting point is 00:03:40 So that's exciting. Just got the email today. It's like, man, whatever you guys are doing, keep doing it. Oh. So we're going to try. I don't even know that we're doing it.
Starting point is 00:03:46 I know. I was like, ooh, what are we doing? We didn't come in with a new plan. Like, all right, here's what we're going to do. Right. But, you know, we come on and try to be as authentic as possible. So thank you. Appreciate everything you guys are doing.
Starting point is 00:03:57 Here it is. The Bobby Bone shows the top of the chart, while Will Ferrell's comedic, the Ron Burgundy podcast is at number two. The Joe Rogan shows third, the Breakfast Club and Ben Shapiro complete the top five. And one would argue that all those shows are better than ours. So we're very lucky that we have the top podcast. And we're also what people call in a niche format. To be able to be number one while in what they call a niche format because we're not mainstream, because we're country. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:26 And everyone's like, ah, country. Yeah, as a wise man once said, kiss my country A. Yeah. Who said that? Yeah, who said that? It's a song. I know, but was it like Toby? That ain't country.
Starting point is 00:04:37 A lot of that. Or something. We should do more drafts though. Like we did the country music love song draft today. There's love songs, right? Yes. Like, we should, what happened to your mic? Sorry, I had to clear my throat and then I was holding it.
Starting point is 00:04:50 Then you yelled while you were holding your throat down. Look, getting used to this whole thing. We should do like drinking songs. Okay. Or we should do sad songs. Yes. Those song ones are good. Yeah, because love songs was kind of easy because there are a lot of love songs.
Starting point is 00:05:07 There's so many of them. But I love playing these draft games. Would it like two-stepping one be a good one? No? Oh. Okay. I love to two-step. I know.
Starting point is 00:05:15 I know. It probably wouldn't be a good draft. Because it could be any song. No. And you want people to steal other people's songs. Like that's the fun part of it. Like you got to, there's a strategy to picking songs win. Yes.
Starting point is 00:05:26 But you'll hear coming up we did our love song draft. Ooh, songs make you cry. There we go. Sad songs is a good one. Okay. Oh, how about best fast food restaurants? Yeah. Non-music, yes.
Starting point is 00:05:37 Yes. There are a lot of those ideas. Okay. But we should, yeah. Are those Mike D specials? No. It comes up with those topics. Obviously not me.
Starting point is 00:05:47 Me? Yeah, me. All right. I'm like. I had to look because Mike D and I work on so much together. those I think is me I don't even like listen to oddly feel weird
Starting point is 00:05:58 claiming that it's me because I don't like claiming anything because it's all such a group effort but since you asked yeah I think me so far so good man I'm not sure
Starting point is 00:06:07 keep up the good work bruns I'm not sure my ID since like notes a night 95% of it gets on the air you got a Mike D's special thank you Raymondo yeah Mike D will send like a page of ideas and notes
Starting point is 00:06:23 And also I think Mike D has learned to know me too And his stuff gets on the air It's good He writes all the games That we play just about So shout out Mike D over there in the corner It doesn't have a microphone Oddly, even if he did
Starting point is 00:06:35 Wouldn't say anything Right It's fitting Crank it up all the way, you can turn it all the way up So now we have that all super Like inside stuff out the way I did have some stuff I wanted to mention
Starting point is 00:06:45 A woman was busted for petting a zoo animal Did you know that's a charge? Yeah because I mean she broke Went through the barrier or whatever She jumped over the enclosure at a zoo and touched the monkey. You can do that. Even though it's like super tempting, can't do it. The entire incident is said to have been caught on Snapchat, which was later shown to police.
Starting point is 00:07:05 The city's attorney is reviewing the case. She may face trespassing charges. And here's what would happen. If that monkey would have attacked her, they'd have put the monkey down. The monkey shouldn't even be in the zoo anyway. Right. And they have to set a precedent and say, like, don't do this. Like, you might get a cool Snapchat video, but like you're going to get penalized.
Starting point is 00:07:23 Yeah, don't touch the monkey in public. That's my rule in life. Yeah, only, yeah. Yeah. Not public. If there's a monkey in public, don't touch it. Don't do that. And monkeys may look cute and all, but some of them can really, like, be pretty vicious.
Starting point is 00:07:37 My great aunt had a monkey, and it was mean. And why? Why did she have one? What kind? Let me think, because it wasn't a chimpanzee. It was like a spider monkey. Yeah, that's my uncle had one, too. And it used to poop in its hand and throw it sometimes.
Starting point is 00:07:54 and it used to spit. I was so young. It was my grandmother's sister. What was the monkey's name? I don't remember. I was so young. I can barely remember it. Aunt Albi was my aunt,
Starting point is 00:08:04 and she had a freaking monkey. And it wasn't crazy because I was so young. I just thought everybody old had monkeys. Yeah. But it would bite. Yeah. And then all of a sudden
Starting point is 00:08:13 I went back to her house and the monkey wasn't there. They didn't talk about it anymore. Oh, it's probably at the zoo. That's when I stopped petting the monkey. Mm-hmm. In public. Once that, yeah, I used to pet the monkey
Starting point is 00:08:22 in private all time. Still do. All right. Scarlett Johansson has debuted her 11-carat engagement ring from Colin Jost. It's big. Scarlett Johanson has finally unveiled her engagement ring and it's one huge rock Saturday Night Live co-head writer Colin Jost proposed to the actors back in May, but she waited to reveal the enormous colored diamond until Saturday's Comic-Con panel. 11-carats. Talk to me about an 11-carat ring because I don't know anything about rings.
Starting point is 00:08:50 Okay, like one-carat you would think it's big. Two carrots. Oh, a one carrot's big? One carrot is a nice size, yes. Then one and a half. Two carrot, you'd be like, wow, that's a really nice. That's really nice. Three carrots, you'd be like, whoa.
Starting point is 00:09:06 So 11? What's full Bugs Bunny, though? You hit that point where it's like so many carrots, you're like, that's just a lot. I don't know. Is your ring full Bugs Bunny? No. Oh. But like, how big is it, Amy? Is it like marble size?
Starting point is 00:09:18 Like 11? Well, I guess it depends on is there carrots around it. Like, I haven't seen Scarlet, so. How much do you think an 11-kart ring is? Millions. No, 400,000. I mean, you totally ruined the story here. Shoot.
Starting point is 00:09:30 10 million. No, I don't know. It's only $400,000. Well, in my mind, it seems so big that it would be millions. And I don't know the color cut in clarity, and I don't know the color. Yeah, you said it was colored. Scarlett's 11-carat. Light-Bron diamond looks to be a spin on two shapes mixing an oval and a pair to create an elegant egg shape.
Starting point is 00:09:46 Oh, wow. Light-brown. Let me just Google this, bad boy. Light brown. See, to me, that would look like dirty. Topaz? Well, it's like the size of a chicken nugget.
Starting point is 00:09:56 I would think like, because it's like long and nuggety. I would think that I would want my ring to be maybe taller. Yeah. Has anyone
Starting point is 00:10:05 like that size here? Where it like comes up to here. It'd be like a brass knuckle instead of, like that's how to want my diamond instead of like it because it's like full finger like mid-knuckle
Starting point is 00:10:14 down to the, you like that or no? No. I don't love it either. I guess the fact that it's, it looks like it's got like a little worm holding it. It looks like it was in poopy water.
Starting point is 00:10:24 and they pulled it up. Yeah, and the band is like a... By the way, we're hating on a ring that we couldn't afford. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. We're not even hating. Scarlett, if you're listening. Yeah, Scarlet, you're a big fan of the podcast we know.
Starting point is 00:10:33 That's the size of like of a big grape. But the band looks, doesn't it look like an earthworm? I may be not see the band in my picture up here. But yeah, I saw that she got that ring. Nice. Thanks, Amy. You're welcome. How many carrots did your ring? Do you want to say?
Starting point is 00:10:47 I would need to ask my husband, it might be one and a half. Did your call's near $400,000? No. I know. I'm just giving you a hard time. I mean, I still, I can't wait my husband spent what he did, but... Text it to me. No. I won't say it. I promise. I promise. Mouth it to him. I promise. No one can hear.
Starting point is 00:11:09 I mean... I'll just, my reaction... Are you going to write it down? Now, there's cameras. Yeah. Remember, there are cameras everywhere watching us. Zoom in. You guys, I'm going to give you guys just a reaction. I'm trying to be in them with the bands and everything.
Starting point is 00:11:25 Just write a number down. Okay, Amy's not showing me the amount, her engagement. She's still writing. She's still writing. Is that a comma? A lot of commas. All right. It wasn't as crazy as I thought.
Starting point is 00:11:39 It's her business, and I would not share that. And I didn't buy it? Yeah, but it's not as crazy as I thought. It's only 300,000. No, no, it actually wasn't as crazy as. We make it out to be when we give her a hard time about that. Yeah, might just show me this picture of Scarlett Johans's ring. It's a huge diamond. Don't get me wrong. We're haters because we never...
Starting point is 00:11:58 Yeah, I don't get it. Maybe I don't get diamond art, but this is definitely diamond art. Yeah. So there's that. What else? I was looking on Twitter and the Bachelor Men Tell All was last night. Lunchbox, you watched this? Yeah, we watched it. I guess it's a Bachelorette, huh? Yeah, it's a Bachelorette, men tell all. What did you get? What was your takeaway? I mean, really, they made it all about Luke P. I mean, they continued last week's episode. It was the first time ever. Usually it's just men tell all, but they had to show what happened with Luke P because she sent him home, but he shows up at the Rose ceremony and wants clarity. And then, so basically last night, it was just all about Luke P.
Starting point is 00:12:35 And the guys hate him. And he was just like, look, guys, I'm sorry, but I loved her. And my emotions, like, it was hard for me when you're ostracized, what are that ostracized in the house? When you're like the one cast off. Yeah, no one likes you. He goes, it was a really hard situation for me. He goes, I had a hard time dealing with her dating other dudes why I'm sitting looking at her head. That's going to be my wife and I don't want her kissing other dudes. Is he a villain to you? I don't think he's that bad. I mean, all he told her was, hey, like, I don't want you sleeping with other dudes. And if you do, I might remove myself from the situation. And she was like,
Starting point is 00:13:09 how dare you judge me? And he was just giving his beliefs. And now all of America thinks he's a terrible person. And you don't think he's a terrible person. No, he's just a born again Christian that says, hey, man, I don't want my wife to be sleeping with other dudes, and I'm not going to we're going to abstain from doing that until we're married. So that was his opinion. He wasn't very good at expressing it because it
Starting point is 00:13:30 sounded like he was like, you will not do certain things. And all the guys were like, you're trying to control your wife. And so he gets a bad rap. He's just misunderstood, I think. What is his name? Luke P. Luke P. Looking him up. And left is
Starting point is 00:13:44 Jed. Jed. From Tennessee who had the girlfriend. Who else? Peter the pilot. Who had a girlfriend? What? Peter the pilot had a girlfriend? I think so, right? No, he's the windmill guy. Yeah, it came out in a story that he had a girlfriend too.
Starting point is 00:13:58 Yeah. What? I read the story now that you're my... He had a girlfriend. I think she was a flight attendant. He met her when they were doing some flight training or something. They dated for a long time, and then he just pieced out, right? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:10 It wasn't as bad as the Jed situation. Like, they weren't dating when he went on the show, but he basically broke up with her to go beyond the show. He had a girlfriend and was like, oh, got to go beyond the show. Time to break it off. Which, by the way, is a better way to do it than what the Jedd dude did, which was, all right, you're going to stay my girlfriend. I'm going to be on the other side. That's not going to wait. Still, I think the girl that Jed left should have been like, no.
Starting point is 00:14:35 Either you don't go or you do go, and if you do go, we break up and we can talk about it on the other side. I don't think, and I still, Haley, she came in on the show, Haley. That was on her too. I told her that. You can't let a dude go on the bachelor or else. and be like, you do your deal, and we'll see you. Right. Get your pickle tickled and we'll talk about it.
Starting point is 00:14:54 Pickle tickle. What's up? Pickle tickled? Hey, but what do you feel, though, about this Luke P? Like, he's not, like, they're not married. They're not even dating, really because she's... Oh, they're dating. But she's dating also, she's on a show, though.
Starting point is 00:15:08 She's also dating someone else. So he can't really control her. He can't, but he can say how he feels. Again, I didn't watch the show us. I'm going by what I'm hearing and what I'm reading. If Luke P goes, Hey, I don't feel comfortable with you sleeping with other dudes. And if you are doing that, okay, that's on you and you can do what you do.
Starting point is 00:15:23 But I don't like it and I can't be a part of that. Then good for him. He should say that. Again, I don't watch the show. I could feel different about it if I did. And she said that the closest she's ever felt to love at first night when she saw Luke P. And so all the other guys were just like trying to tell her, he's such a bad dude. And she's like, no, no, and kept it along for so long.
Starting point is 00:15:42 So last night she's on there going, I just want to apologize to America that I kept Luke P around so long. I'm sorry that you guys had to witness. Luke P. TV. It was all about Luke P. She said the Luke P show is canceled. Yeah. How do you feel about her now that the show is about over? Oh, she's great.
Starting point is 00:15:59 I think she's a lot of fun. I love that she is just her, and I love that she goes for the makeouts. Like, she does not, like, she goes in for the tongue every time, and she wraps her legs around every dude she makes out with. He loves it. Like, she's great. She's not like, she's funny. She's awesome.
Starting point is 00:16:12 She's great. No, that's what I'm saying. She wraps her legs around. She doesn't care. Like, she is just her. She's fun. She is funny. She's got a good personality and she's real. Like, she's not very well, like, if you're trying to be, she's not boring is what I'm saying. Like, it's been an entertaining season. Oh, that's good. Peter's ex-girlfriend said he betrayed her to go on the Bachelorette.
Starting point is 00:16:31 Oh, no. Peter the Pilots girl. Bachelorette contestant, Peter Weber's ex-girlfriend, Kaylee Lutz, said he betrayed her to go on the show. She said he applied for the show while they were still dating. Kaylee said they met on a dating app in 2018 and dated for about five months, flying to see each other almost every week. despite living on the opposite side of the country. She's from Atlanta. I don't know where he's from. I think he's from Cali, I think. Then there's some other dude that all they do is make out. The three people left? Yeah, I don't.
Starting point is 00:17:01 I forget his name, but she just, all they do is make out. And when they went to the honeymoon suite, oh, she didn't hook up with them. She was like, listen, man. Like, we actually have to talk because all we do is make out. And so we need to just, like, talk and not hook up because we don't know each other. So that tells me that I don't know.
Starting point is 00:17:17 I don't know even remember his name. So they've been doing it the whole show, but now she doesn't want to do it now that's at the end of the show? Right. They're not going to be together. That's what I thought. Because they don't,
Starting point is 00:17:26 I mean, all they did was just, woohoo. I wish some girl would just be like, all I want to do is be physical with you. Well, yeah. I mean, you can have that. That's called a booty call.
Starting point is 00:17:33 It's not that hard. I don't have a booty call. Someone always gets hurt after that list. But you could have one. I don't think so. No, you could if you would, if you would do it, but you just aren't,
Starting point is 00:17:45 you won't do that. You don't step up to the plate. Like, trust me. There would be girls that would come at two in the morning when you wake up and like, all right, and then before you go to work, you can have that if you wanted. Trust him. Trust me.
Starting point is 00:17:58 Trust him. Oh my gosh, I googled some random article to read about Peter the pilot's girlfriend and it's called cheat sheet.com and I'm scrolling through the article. And then boom, look who's a picture of. Bobby. Oh, yeah. Look at that. Like right there.
Starting point is 00:18:12 No comment. Bobby the. What's your nickname? Bobby the bones? Bobby Bones. Yeah, he's just on this random article. It's so crazy. About what?
Starting point is 00:18:20 Nothing. About Peter the pilot. Nothing. We're moving on. Wait a minute. Nothing. I don't know. People just write stuff.
Starting point is 00:18:28 Who knows what people are right. I'm going to cheat sheet now. Moving on. Cheat sheet. Will you mark off the Scarlet? I have a list of things here. We mark off the Scarlet Johansa thing. I'm just trying to make sure I get to everything here.
Starting point is 00:18:41 Morgan number two has told me in an email that she is now an endorser for Jason Aldeen's bar, which is interesting in a couple ways. Because she goes, that's her spot. Yeah. It's a club on top. Yeah. That's when I've been out with Morgan,
Starting point is 00:18:58 that's where we go every time. Every time. Like, that's her spot. But where it gets a little bit, Harry, is that Ramundo used to be Jason Aldean's endorser. Oh, no. But Ramundo get kicked out of Jason Aldeens. Is that why you're not the endorser anymore?
Starting point is 00:19:12 That was a separate incident. Yes, I did get kicked out, but I still deal with sales, and I deal with maybe their corporate. I got bounced by the bouncer. He's probably the lowest on the totem pole, and he didn't even probably tell anybody. So you go to Jason Naldez and you're way drunk? This is a month or two ago when I met up with Morgan number two and then Christina.
Starting point is 00:19:30 Oh, Ray was with you when he got kicked out? Oh, yeah, I saw it happen. Well, what happened? I think I'd done some drinks before I ran to those chicks, and then they maybe had me do another drink. Next thing you know, my friend. They had you do another drink. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:42 Hey, Monday. Yes. Listen, I know my limits whenever it's just me, chilling, but when people start pushing you a drink, take shots. But yeah, I got hammered. And then if you start swaying, it's not like I threw a chair. It's not an old bar brawl. He probably just saw me not walking straight. And they're like, get out of here. God, it's nothing big. It's not like I got in a fight. Morgan, number two, what's your take on the story? Yeah, he didn't do anything bad, but he definitely needed to go home. Like, it was just kind of one of those.
Starting point is 00:20:05 He had a way too much a drink. Yeah, like, we just got to get this guy out of here, like he needs to go home. So it wasn't bad. He didn't do anything to anybody. He just, he was swaying a little bit. Did they know that it was Raimundo from the show? I have no idea. They didn't say anything to anybody. They just kind of came in, swooped him, and took them out. So what are you doing for Jason Aldeen's bar now?
Starting point is 00:20:25 Well, I'm, like, taking pictures. I got to go over there and eat a bunch of their food and where they're, like, merchandise from the store, and they took a bunch of, like, influencer-type pictures for me to post on social media and stuff, and then I'm doing spots and liners and all the things. And they're paying you? Yep.
Starting point is 00:20:41 I mean, that's what you want to do. That's organic. because she loves it. She's been doing it. And now they're paying her to do what she was already doing anyway. Yep. And now, when are you going to eat the food? If we ever need to go.
Starting point is 00:20:54 What? When are you going to eat the food? I went once already and I'll go back. So it's like it's Jason Aldeens, Luke Bryan, and FGL House. They're all together. But right now they're emphasized on Jason Aldeens, which those are the three bars I go to. That's true. She said, okay, we're going to go up, take a right at Luke's bar.
Starting point is 00:21:11 We're going to do a hippity scop, scop, over at FGL house. And I know a secret tunnel, he'll take us right up to the top. And all of a sudden, boom, we're in the middle of the club at Al Deans. Like, she knows her way around the back streets. Do you ever go, like, not late at night? No, it was really weird when I went to go eat food. I was like, I don't think I've ever seen this place during the daytime. Because, like, I think sometimes Broadway, like, I've gone to Broadway like at 4 or 5 p.m.
Starting point is 00:21:34 And it's, like, so fun. But I've done Dirk Spindley's Whiskey Row, which is, like, they have an awesome rooftop and you dance. Like, it's fun. So that's more in my time that I'm. I would want to, so if you ever go, like maybe we could all go at that time. I just have no desire to be there at 2 a.m. Yeah, I've been a few times. It's pretty fun. It gets really drunk after about 1230.
Starting point is 00:21:54 Like everyone's sloppy and they're stepping on shoes and everything's wet. It's just any bar after 1230. So, but they're always nice to us. Yeah. If it starts to get sloppy, they'll go, hey, you want to go over here where it's not so sloppy? And so we'll go over there. Ramundo and his girl got into a big fight. Yeah, we did.
Starting point is 00:22:10 You want to know about it? I like your tone. I like how it just shifts. Yeah, yeah. It's a fight tone. What happened? So I go to the gas station. Me and her like to play cards.
Starting point is 00:22:18 We play gin rummy, blackjack, all sorts of things. High low. It's just fun drinking games. It's usually just me and her. We invite some people maybe. So we didn't have cards. So I go to the gas station. And guess the only deck of cards they have is
Starting point is 00:22:30 girls that are not fully naked, but they're pretty close to it. It's semi-nude. Okay. So I get this playing deck and the girls are in bikinis, thongs, everything. So I go back to the crib and I didn't think anything of it. And we actually were able to play a little bit,
Starting point is 00:22:43 But of course the comments are going to flow. These girls are wearing... The comments from her? Yeah, well, no, from me. So I'm saying stuff like, hey, that blonde-haired chick kind of looks like your cousin, doesn't she? And she's like half-naked and stuff. And then I would say, man, that thong bikini,
Starting point is 00:22:57 like not even being gross, would you ever consider wearing something like that? And she's like, okay, is the whole conversation now with the game going to be perverted because the cards? And I'm like, well, the cards are naked girls. It kind of generates that conversation. So it led to a huge fight.
Starting point is 00:23:10 I should have never got the naked playing deck, but that's all they had at the gas station. Okay. So that was the dumb fight. But the better thing is how we resolve our fights. You want to hear that? Sure. I'm about first story. So regardless of how dumb it is or how serious, we always hold hands. And it always ends up people's tones better. We solve it faster. We care about each other more. So we always start the fight holding hands. So we're able to explain ourselves and it doesn't get very aggressive and very like hateful. Are you ever so angry though that you don't want to hold hands? You're like, we don't even hold a hands this fight because I'm so mad. That's the thing. We made a rule. You have to hold hands. So sometimes it's been pretty bad. and we'll still just go for the handhold. And it works.
Starting point is 00:23:47 Yeah, so I wanted to pass that along. Sounds like a good tip. Yeah, I like that. But yeah, and also another tip. Don't get the naked playing deck at the gas station. Yeah. Just forget the card game for that night. Yeah, I'd have probably just paid checkers or something.
Starting point is 00:24:01 Yeah, or just keep quiet about the cards not being like, dang, can you get you one of these thongs? Yeah, that too. Or that looks like your cousin. It's a lot of good one, right. Ramundo also has a stock tip for us. Do you guys want a stock tip or now? Yeah. I mean, we'll run it.
Starting point is 00:24:15 All right. Go ahead, Ramundo. Yeah, I'm looking for my sound effect. I wanted to use this. Here we go. Cash register. All right. So this is going to be free money, you guys.
Starting point is 00:24:24 So IHart, the company we work for, they just apparently are now public. We're on NASDAG, baby. I just look it up. IHart. And so all these major companies, Netflix, Starbucks, Apple, all these stocks are over $100. Right now, IHart is right around hovering $16. So I'm saying, Buy now. We're a major podcast, major radio network. Buy now. This is in a year, I guarantee it's the
Starting point is 00:24:49 exact same of the Apple's Netflix, Starbucks, is of the world. It'll be at $100. You'll make 10-fold your money. And what leads you to believe that this is the stock that you want to push along? The company we work for, I've seen the ins and outs. So I'm saying. Bobby. It just started out. I can't believe it's that low. I really do think that the New York Wall Street made a mistake. It should not be that low of a stock. A mistake. What are you nodding your head? Oh, he's just funny, first of all.
Starting point is 00:25:17 But I'm saying he should say, you'd be like, well, why do you think that the stock is going to go up? And he should say, well, because of you, Bobby. Oh, well, that's not true. But, I mean, I guess we could affect it, huh? And listen, if somebody's listening to the show, guess what? If you turn us on in the morning, you're helping your own stock. Good point.
Starting point is 00:25:33 Very true. That's interesting. Maybe I buy, do you ever, do you do any stock stuff? I don't really. I got sick once. I got sick and I downloaded an app where you can like buy stocks on the app. Really? Like you don't even need like a broker.
Starting point is 00:25:50 You just do it yourself? Broker. Yeah. Yeah. Like, you know, when you watch golf, all the commercials, those people. No, I have a few hundred bucks. Because I have some Twitter. Really?
Starting point is 00:26:01 Yeah. At 75 cents each of 18 shares. Like that's what we're talking about here with my stocks. That's fun. I have, what is F? Ford. I have an idea. I have two shares of.
Starting point is 00:26:12 F. Oh no, wait, hold on I'm wrong on that. Oh, Twitter's 24 bucks a share. We had a little money on that one. Ford, I have two shares at 12 bucks. Ford's only 12 bucks a share? Average cost $12.59. So that's the kind of stock that I have when I say stocks. It's definitely not someone who knows what they're doing. I just get bored and buy stuff for like 20 bucks.
Starting point is 00:26:41 What am I? Oh, I have one share of Steve Madden. At $47. Oh, you've had that for years, right? Different. Whatever I bought when I was sick, like 10 years ago, I sold. Oh. Yeah. Wow, what are you looking at?
Starting point is 00:26:56 I'm looking at I-heart, but I'm... Are you guys using that stock app on your iPhone? No. Mine's called Robin Hood. It's just a green app. I don't even know. Like I said, I got sick once and I get so bored. Is that more, like, stock for dummies?
Starting point is 00:27:12 Because what I'm reading right now, I can't understand. What do you mean? What are you reading? I don't know. Regular stock market. I-H-R-T. Q? Oh, what is it right now?
Starting point is 00:27:22 Did you just have a Q in it? I don't know what you're saying. Well, my, the I-Hart, I'm seeing. Oh, there's three. Yeah, $16, yeah, you're right. I-H-R-T. Yeah. On the NASDAQ.
Starting point is 00:27:35 Open it. So can I just, I don't even know what this means either. Maybe. Can I just buy some with Apple Pay right now? Maybe. Swipe up. Double tap.
Starting point is 00:27:44 It opened at 16, 33. We should do a financial show. You guys are good. You guys are interesting. I wonder if I can buy some share. I don't have enough buying power. What? I try to buy two shares and they're like, you're broke.
Starting point is 00:27:58 Sorry, you don't have enough funds. You don't have enough buying power to buy two share of stock. Oh, yeah, yeah. All right, Ramundo, thank you for your tip. Yep, use that and enjoy it, you guys. In a year, probably tenfold. Okay, thank you. And sell it.
Starting point is 00:28:13 Do you guys do stock tips on your podcast? Not sore losers? We can. I just don't know anything about it. Yeah. Well, we have Ramundo now. That's always the thing when they're like, the stock market is so high America. Like, I read a thing where like only 11, the 11% of people have stocks.
Starting point is 00:28:28 Like, most folks are like, stock matter, it might affect me one bit. Like, I guess I can cash some of this in. Some of my two shares of Twitter. All the stuff that you bought when you were asleep. Ford. Sick. Not asleep. Sick.
Starting point is 00:28:38 Sick. Difference. Yes. Amy, anything you want to say before we wrap it up? I have a new Q&A episode that loaded today. and it's what we call the fifth thing. So you just search out for things with Amy Brown, wherever you listen to podcasts.
Starting point is 00:28:50 And I talk about this new thing that I bought. When I'm answering a question, I go into something that I'm testing out for people and I'll hopefully have a full reveal. I like kind of embarrassed that I bought it. One of those stores on the highway? No, you ordered it online. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:29:08 You can get it online too, months. You don't want to go in. All right, I get that. And so I end up talking about that. And I'm like, oh, I hope I'm, other people have used this and they'll be able to tell me about it. Look, someone's always used it. Probably the exact one.
Starting point is 00:29:23 So definitely listen to that. The Q&A episodes are like, you know, we're joking, but what is it? 20 minutes. Watch it be what we're joking about. Well, have you ever heard of a fascia blaster? Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh. Just listen to the podcast.
Starting point is 00:29:38 Okay, more things with Amy Brown. Spell it. I got it. Oh, boy. Why does it look like a cucumber? Look at this, Eddie. What is that? Hey, what is that?
Starting point is 00:29:49 What is that? Bones, Google it. No. No, it's fine. Yeah, Google. What part of your body do you use that on? Bones, don't ask that question. Whatever.
Starting point is 00:29:58 Wherever you need it. Whatever. Let's just say it's the one I'm looking at is a long stick and it has three like balls on it. Well, I like mine. And you do that in your podcast. you talk about that. It comes up. It just came.
Starting point is 00:30:16 I was answering the question about something else. Comes up. It just came up and then I was like, I wasn't planning on talking about this, but okay. Interesting. I have a podcast that goes up today.
Starting point is 00:30:27 By the time you hear this, it may be up. Thomas Trey came over to the house. We did an hour. And we talked about, for example, I'm curious about when people go on Saturday Night Live
Starting point is 00:30:35 and what that day is like and what that week is like leading up to the show. Here's that. Here's Thomas Rett. I can't hit it, Ray Moodoo. Can you hit clip three? And so you're in there. when you're watching John Mullaney, you rehearse his stuff,
Starting point is 00:30:45 and I got to meet, like, Ben Stiller, I got to meet Paul Rudd, you know, the whole cast, and just walking in there, man, I just could feel the whole Will Ferrell, you know, more cowbell skit. Like, it's crazy how much history you could feel just walking in that building. And so, because even doing Fallon and Kim on all that, even though it is live, it's not live, you're filming at like 4 o'clock in the afternoon. S&L, you mess up, you're done. Your mess up is forever on national television and on YouTube.
Starting point is 00:31:08 Which is the L part of the show? Yeah, for sure. Saturday Night Live. Yeah, exactly. So we talk about a lot. It's a good one. It's crazy. You have to clarify that. You know, we grew up with it being called Saturday Night Live, but now it's S&L.
Starting point is 00:31:19 Yeah. It's just S&L. Oh, they just called S&L now? Yeah. Oh, that's it. I think KFC is just KFC. Right, yeah, exactly. Way Watchers is WW.
Starting point is 00:31:33 Amy, that's a good example, too, yeah. I don't think that's, it's just called WW. Duncan. Duncan is just Duncan. You know, they change to something because they don't want weight. They don't want you saying wait. but I don't think it's WW.
Starting point is 00:31:46 That's not. No, that'd be a terrible name or something. Hold on. Wait, Wait, what. They may have changed their name or changed their brand name. Hey, Mike, I have something weird on my screen. It's like a...
Starting point is 00:31:55 Wait Watchers. That's probably what you... Amy, the sign about it. Wait Watchers change its name to WW. And that's what you have to call it now? Well, they said the first article I found, what marketers can learn from WW's rebrand troubles. Oh, yeah, because it's terrible.
Starting point is 00:32:10 Well, still they did it. You're right. You're right. I'm just saying. Absolutely. If they did do that, then I thought it was dumb, and I'm wrong because they did do that. But you're also right because you thought it was dumb. I was wrong. I'm wrong.
Starting point is 00:32:22 Because I was like, there's no way they named it that. And I believed you. You're normally so right that I was like, yeah, clearly I messed this up. It's probably called W. Like, I don't know. But we assume that Bobby knows everything. I've heard no, no, no. Don't do it.
Starting point is 00:32:34 We do. We do all the time. I've not heard one person call it WWW and nor would I think that it could go through like a boardroom going, all right, we're all going to vote. It's been up eight levels now. Do we call our company WW? It's a terrible name.
Starting point is 00:32:46 Companies that have like weight and fit, like you know those think thin bars? Now if you're at the gas station, they're normally by the Quest bars. They're yummy. Brownie Crunch is good. But like yeah, Eddie, you eat them.
Starting point is 00:32:57 Now they're just called think. Think bars because they want to remove thin because the controversy over having thin and weight. The T.T. Bars. No, because think. I mean, I like the new packaging. It says think. and so it makes you want to think before you eat maybe
Starting point is 00:33:14 but yeah companies are just watching out for that all right we're done with today's after show B-B-B-S-A-S Bobby Bonjo after show Post-show pre-show oh boy all right she's tired P-S-P-S Morgan number two how are the comments over there on the Twitter page this the post-show pre-shows do them pretty positive over here
Starting point is 00:33:37 so that's a bonus that's better than we've been have you had to block anyone today Not yet. Okay, she's watching, though. One of my friends said they went over there and it was dark. It's a dark place. I was like, I haven't been. If I had to pick to go into your neighborhood and hang out or in the, our Facebook page, I'd pick your neighborhood.
Starting point is 00:33:55 Wow. I know. It's risky. It's very risky. You could actually die in my neighborhood. I know. Here's the thing, real quick, sorry, about the blocking comments. It doesn't really just kind of like darkens it.
Starting point is 00:34:10 like, oh, this comment's been hidden. And then I'm always like, well, I wonder what they said. Like, you know, that could just be me. It kind of makes you go. I'd be more curious. And then I start clicking on that profile and be like, well, who's Harry? Let's see what Harry's all about. The weird thing is sometimes I'm something really just mean or vulgar, hateful.
Starting point is 00:34:27 And you click on it and it's like their picture of them leading their youth group. Yeah. And you're like... Isn't that weird? Isn't that weird? Isn't that weird? I'm like, okay. It's like, judge not, yes, you be judged.
Starting point is 00:34:36 And they're over on our page going, Bobby's biggest douchebag ever. What a loser. And you're like, wait, that's not the same person who set up this page? Yeah. Someone because of my family feud appearance, like, or how I came off on family feud, was questioning my parenting. I saw that.
Starting point is 00:34:51 We'll talk about it tomorrow. Fine. But I didn't want to give her attention. I wanted more draw attention than stupid comments we get, but I scratched out her name because, I mean, I wasn't trying to, like, give her attention if that's what she wanted. But I didn't want to give her comment attention because it did make me laugh. Because you know what? I feel like that was a growth point for me.
Starting point is 00:35:08 Comment used to probably would have made me cry. Not anymore. Thomas Wright and I talked about that too. He was like, I posted a picture like me and my kids. And the first person was like, hey, shave your beard. And the second was like, why's your hat bent so funny loser? And he's like, he's like, what? It's just the nature.
Starting point is 00:35:27 If you're this person, if you're listening to me right now and you do this, stop. Yeah. Stop. Obviously you don't love us. You don't even love yourself. Got them. That's true. I say that someone who doesn't love us.
Starting point is 00:35:38 sell sometimes too. What if I have a burner account like Kevin Durant and I'm just over I'm over just slamming people and building me up like I'm his biggest fan. Like that's how they caught him. I think he forgot to turn his burner account off. I thought that was a big joke. No. They really busted him on that. He'll go with people. It's funny. Yeah, he's funny and he'll like direct message
Starting point is 00:35:56 people on Instagram. Like wasn't he going into like press conferences too and like taking pictures as a press photographer but he's a basketball player? I don't know that that version of that story. But Yeah, listen, good for him. I don't really go up people on Instagram. My direct messages are all just...
Starting point is 00:36:15 I didn't know, I turned my account from a business to a personal account, and now I can, like, put DMs in different categories. There's general, there's primary, there's... I had no idea. Maybe this is why I wasn't getting DM'd at all, because I would just see... I wouldn't know who was sending what. It was just like...
Starting point is 00:36:33 Oh, okay. I need to look into that. What is your saying? that as? I don't know. What, you were a business and now your personal bones? Is that what you said? Yeah. Did you know about that, Morgan, number two? Yeah, you get more things like with the personal side, but you're probably going to have to
Starting point is 00:36:50 change it back to business soon. Why? Because just some of your like endorsements that you have, they'll want those analytics, like your general or your... Who will want it? The general. Oh, I can't get analytics on a personal? Mm-mm. That's why most, like, influencer or public
Starting point is 00:37:06 figure accounts are business. How do you know what you are? You are what you want to be, AIM. Oh, no, I want to know what I am. Whatever your heart tells you. You be you. Okay. All right, here we go.

Starting point is 00:40:40 Come, Bobby. Welcome to Tuesday show. Good morning, studio. Morning. Funny story. And here's the thing. You never know when love is going to strike. Never.
Starting point is 00:40:50 You never know who you're going to see. It's like, boom, love. It just happened. It can just crawl up on you, and all of a sudden, you're like, like a caterpillar. All of a sudden, love's on your arm. But there are boundaries. This guy has admitted to making a fake bomb threat in hopes of getting a date with a flight attendant.
Starting point is 00:41:06 Oh, yeah. He made a telephone call that caused a flight to be to be evacuated before its takeoff. Now, the reason is because he wanted to have some alone time with the flight attendant that was on the flight. So if he could get everybody off the flight, he could like see her in the airport, see at the bar. Oh, my gosh. There were 130 passengers and five crew member that had to leave the aircraft while it was searched by a special police squad and sniffer dogs. who has not been named, had met two flight attendants and invited them to dinner, but they refused.
Starting point is 00:41:35 He confessed to the hoax on Saturday, saying he'd especially liked one of the women after he failed to track her down at the hotel. Boy, this guy's going all out. It's too much. Too much. The police traced his call. He was charged with causing panic and disorder. He should also be able to have to pay back some of the flight time, too.
Starting point is 00:41:53 I mean, that's just not the move to have, guys. Like, if you want to get a flight attendant. No girl would think that's hot. No. Like, that's no. Like, what was your flight attendant move? I didn't really have a move. She kind of flirted with me.
Starting point is 00:42:04 I felt. She did that her eyes, two fingers to my eye. Right. And then you put your number on a napkin? No, I didn't put my number. Oh. I said, hey, she said, give me our review on the little speaker, and I gave her a review. And I was like, hey, you were my favorite ever.
Starting point is 00:42:17 And I wrote my Instagram name. Okay. Yeah. That's that. So have you all hung out or? No. Here's a funny story, though. I haven't.
Starting point is 00:42:24 I haven't talked to her at all. No? No. She lives too far away. But I was on a flight. She was working on. your flight again? No. Oh. Different one. So I'm on the flight from Seattle down to Atlanta. No, I was on one of the flights this past weekend. Okay. And if I, Amy, I don't know, the flight
Starting point is 00:42:39 never was further than me again. Different one? I was like, what? What is in the air? Am I just set? I know. Maybe like 15,000 feet, I started to get cute when there's only like 50 people that maybe so, but it was, I was, I didn't even know she was flirting with me because I'm clueless to people flirting. And we're talking and I go to the bathroom and she's, like talking to me right before I walk into the little hole, whatever that is. The bathroom, but yeah, it's like a tiny room. Right. And so she's like, hey, and I noticed she's talking a little longer.
Starting point is 00:43:10 And I'm thinking, man, she's really bored. And I was walking off the plane. And she goes, hey, can I hit you up on Instagram? And I was like, what? Maybe she heard. She heard. That's how you roll. It's going around the flight into the chat rooms.
Starting point is 00:43:24 Yeah, okay. And then. Well, I was getting, we were walking off the plane. I was kind of getting pushed. And I was like, okay. And I was surprised because I didn't think she was flirting with me. And I just said okay. And I didn't know.
Starting point is 00:43:34 I haven't heard from her yet. But did you give her your handle? No, I gave her nothing. Oh, she can find out. Because she can look at the manifest and probably know your name. Yes. And Morgan number two, I hit Morgan number two up. I was like, hey, see if you can find this flight attendant.
Starting point is 00:43:47 And then she found her. How? She found her. I just said, I said, here's her hair color and a vowel. And then Morgan number two found her. Interesting. Yeah. So, and then she was.
Starting point is 00:43:56 And when she found her, she was following me already. Yeah. She hasn't messaged me. But now she's not following me anymore. Oh. Okay. That makes sense. But I don't think she was following me.
Starting point is 00:44:06 She didn't know who I was. You don't think she probably found me and then that was that. Okay. She followed and then unfollowed? I don't know what that moves about. What do you think that moves about Morgan number two? I'll tell you I've done it before when you're trying to get somebody's attention. If they don't follow back, they didn't see it.
Starting point is 00:44:20 So you're like, oh, I'll try it again maybe. Or like, oh, that was my shot and I gave up. Oh, well. That was the story. Oh, that's a thing? Huh. Here's the Bobby Bones Show podcast, highlight segment of the day. All right, much like fantasy football, we're going to do a draft of the greatest country love songs.
Starting point is 00:44:37 Just whatever, all time. Today you get to pick any song you want. And we'll see you as the best team at the end of it. Now, with the first overall pick of the country love songs draft, and this will be a snake draft, Amy, you get the first overall pick. So with your first pick overall in the draft, what is the country love song you're going with? Forever and ever amen. That's a great thing.
Starting point is 00:44:57 Randy Travis. It's on my list. It's on my list. Forever and ever amen. It's a great love song. And you want with the gold? As long as old men. Sit and talk about the weather.
Starting point is 00:45:12 As long as old women, sit and talk about old men. Okay. Salaf first pick. Thank you. You can't win a draft with the first round pick, but you can lose one with a bad one. So you did good. Oh.
Starting point is 00:45:25 All right. Lunchbox. Your first round pick of the country love. song draft. I appreciate you not taking the best song out there. And it's called It's Your Love by Tim McGrath. Solid. It's your love. Solid. It's your first round pick. It just does something to me. It sends a shock fright. I can't get enough. And there are three rounds, by the way. Eddie, with a third pick in the first round of the country love songs draft. What do you go with? Guys, just left this sitting on the table. Go with strawberry wine. Dina Carter. Come on. That's a good one.
Starting point is 00:46:06 Thank you. It's borderline first round, though. Really? Yeah. It's only like, I don't know. Oh, my goodness. That's a good song, though. It's the first one that came to my mind.
Starting point is 00:46:15 I know. It's hard to hate on any of these songs. They're all so good. Morgan number two, what's your first round pick? First one that came to my mind, amazed by Lone Star. Dang, it's a good thing. Now, on my list, I did have forever and ever amen from Andy Travis. If Amy, if you didn't take it, that was going to be up there.
Starting point is 00:46:42 Yeah. So I got to pull that one off my list. But my first pick is still there that I had chosen. And I'm sitting here in the last spot of the first round. I still get my first pick. which is Garth Brooks if tomorrow never comes. Oh, dang it.
Starting point is 00:46:55 Yeah. Scratch it out, lunchbox? Yeah. You knew I was going to go guard, right? Yeah. Which is which one. And that's the end of the first round. Hey, great pitch, everybody.
Starting point is 00:47:07 We all had a great first round. Amy with Forever and Ever Amen, lunchbox, that your love. Eddie, strawberry wine, Morgan number two, amazed. And I have, if tomorrow never comes, Garth Brooks. Now to the second round,
Starting point is 00:47:17 we go backward. Since I was last in the first round, I get to go first and the second round. That's the snake part. Yes, this is the snake part of it. With the first pick of the second round in the country love song draft, I'm going to go with Dolly Parton, I will always love you. Come on. Good one. Gold?
Starting point is 00:47:38 How can you hate this song? Can't hate it. It could have been a first rounder. It fell to the second. It's to Aaron Rogers of country love songs. They can't believe it fell so long. Aaron Rogers All right
Starting point is 00:47:52 Morgan number two Your second pick at the second round This is such a solid one I swear by John Michael Oh I swear She's took it from me last Yeah he was next
Starting point is 00:48:05 It's a good one Number two I'll be there I'll be there Eddie You're sitting here in the second round Scambling here I had to change a couple of things I'm going to go with Garth Brooks
Starting point is 00:48:20 Unanswered prayers Oh, that's good. God of I was going to have that, yes. Helen me. For unanswered prayers. Remember when you're talking to the man upstairs.
Starting point is 00:48:36 Sing it, Amy. And just because he doesn't answer Eddie's making Amy sing his songs. He doesn't care. That's good. Everybody. Some of God's greatest gifts. Good pick Eddie.
Starting point is 00:48:50 Our Ness Surpreas. All right, lunchbox, the fourth pick of the second round. Go ahead. Guys, I don't know how I'm doing this. I'm going back to back with Tim McGraw. You left this out there and I'm going to take it. Don't take the girl.
Starting point is 00:49:04 Oh, my goodness. Good one. Take Tommy Thompson. Take my best friend, Bo. Two McGraw picks. He brings the love, I guess. Amy, the last pick of the second round. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:49:20 What is your song here? George Strait, carrying your love with me. I'm carrying your love with me. West Virginia down in Tennessee. I'll be with your good Lord speaks. I'm carrying your love with me. It's my street. Now, we're down to the last round here.
Starting point is 00:49:43 We're at round three now. This is a big one. And so I wonder what you guys are going to texture them with. You're going to text you're going to stay old. Amy so far on your team You have drafted Forever and Ever Amen Yeah
Starting point is 00:49:54 That's your quarterback And carrying your love with me George Strait What is your final pick And the snake drafts You have to go first this time Because you went last last round Yeah
Starting point is 00:50:04 What is your first pick In the country love song Round three Go ahead Dirk's Bentley Come a little closer A little newer All right
Starting point is 00:50:11 She loves Dirk That's a love pick right there There we go Darks Bentley Come a little closer baby That backup quarterback Jam That'd be like a wide receiver.
Starting point is 00:50:20 It's like your quarterback, you're running back, and your wide receiver. Okay. They're all star players. Lunchbox? Oh, man. Tim McGraw. No, no. Tim is out of love songs that I know of, that I relate to.
Starting point is 00:50:36 Amy stole my next pick. So I, man, this is a tough one. But I'll go with. He's looking at his list right now. He's got all his backup players there. I do got all my back on. I don't know where to go. And I'm going to go with George Strait.
Starting point is 00:50:49 And this one is called Check Yes or No Check Yes or No Last pick of the draft All right So last pick I have to go classic And I was thinking of all the classic songs Great love songs
Starting point is 00:51:10 I'm gonna go Willie Nelson Always on my mind Guys we're going to the Super Bowl this year Team Maddies are excited about their team Wow Morgan number two I gotta go with my girl
Starting point is 00:51:29 Shania Twain, you're still the one. Okay. I see everyone's kind of picking now in this third round, something, like one of their artists now. Like, Amy's got a George Strait. Morgan number two has got Shania. Eddie's got Willie. He's Texas guy. Lunchbox has got a lot of McGraths.
Starting point is 00:51:51 And I got the final pick of the draft. This is big, Bonds. Don't crumble. I know. Listen, I'm going to. I was going to... I mean, you can take a flyer on someone, like someone that hadn't made it yet.
Starting point is 00:52:03 Maybe you think they're going to develop into something. Would you like to trade? Yeah, you can trade. I would like to trade for... I have an Eric church like Jesus does. I'm not going to pick it, but that was close. That made my list. Because it's such a jam.
Starting point is 00:52:16 I think he's trying to get bonus points for people that were on his radar. I'm just kind of talking to it out. He doesn't make it. He's not going to be posted up on the page where people can vote for the best team. So that was one. And I have two options. is have a really classic one and a really newish one.
Starting point is 00:52:33 And so far on my team, I have Garth Brooks if tomorrow never comes, because Garth's my guy, solid. And I have, uh, Dali, I will always love you. You know, in the NBA, they draft on upside. Like they draft the young talent because of upside. So, I mean, the newer one may be upside potential. You're trying to talk me into a bad deal here. I can feel it.
Starting point is 00:52:52 No, I just, I don't know what it is. I'm intrigued on what the new one is. Well, I've got two choices here, the two that I'm deciding between. And I think I'm not going to go with the older. when I'm not going to go with Patsy Klein Crazy. I was so close. That's so good. Yeah, but the dolly and the Patsy would be.
Starting point is 00:53:08 I felt like the Mimaws would be rocking me. You need to switch it up. So I'm going to put a new one. I'm put my guy in. I'm calling him in. I'm calling him in the Ritey. He was a soccer star in high school. He played a little football as well.
Starting point is 00:53:22 Who? Who? Yes. And you would know all this. If you listen to the newest bobbycats with Thomas Rett, it comes out at noon today. Oh. Thomas Wrett die a happy man is now.
Starting point is 00:53:32 I feel pretty good to see the Norfolk Tower at night. With all I got is your hand in my hand. Baby I could die. I feel pretty good about that pick. You'll make the playoffs. Yeah, you'll make the playoffs. Amy, read your team out loud. Go ahead.
Starting point is 00:53:58 Reverend Ever and Amen, Randy Travis. George Strait carrying your love with me. and Dirk's Bentley come a little closer. That's Amy's three-team draft. Yeah. Lunchbox, who's your quarterback? It's your love, Tim McGraw. Then we have,
Starting point is 00:54:13 don't take the girl, Tim McGraw, and check yes or no by George Strait. Eddie? I have strawberry wine as my quarterback, Dina Carter, unanswered prayers as my running back. Garth Brooks and always on my mind as my wide receiver.
Starting point is 00:54:28 All right, Morgan number two, bring me a team. I've got amazed by Lone Star at quarterback. I swear by John Michael Montgomery at Running Back. Yeah, good enough. And then you're still the one by Shania Twain is my third round pick. And then my picks are based on my picks in the draft here. If tomorrow never comes, Garth Brooks.
Starting point is 00:54:47 Also have Dolly Parton, I will always love you. And die a happy man, Thomas Red. Solid, solid, solid. If I had to pick a team that's not my own, you can't pick your own. I would pick Eddie's team. You like that one, no? I think that's, I do. I like your team a lot.
Starting point is 00:55:00 But we'll let's the listeners decide. Maybe I'd pick yours. Thank you. Yeah. Thanks. Me too. It's a nice little love triangle there. I pick yours.
Starting point is 00:55:08 But you're kind of missing a player. You've got... Yeah. Well, no. Tim McGrath's playing two positions. Oh, yeah. But Faith Hill can line up. I mean, she's also in the song.
Starting point is 00:55:18 Oh, yeah. Good point. Good point. Solid. Like Chant Bailey. He's playing both sides. Yeah. Okay.
Starting point is 00:55:22 He's like Dion. I pick lunch. All right. There you can. Thank you. Can we make that a poll at bobbygones.com? Mm-hmm. We can put all of our teams.
Starting point is 00:55:28 Oh, I'm already got 100% of the vote. It's not up yet. Is it? I literally just picked them. Okay. All right. All right. So thank you all.
Starting point is 00:55:36 Hey, great draft. There we go. Good luck to everyone this year. No, good luck to me only. Tomorrow we'll see who won. Bobby Bones Show. Big three stories. Ramundo, what you got?
Starting point is 00:55:48 Apple released iOS 12.4. It's going to have a fix for that walkie-talkie app bug that allowed people to eavesdrop on your conversations. They're also going to have a wireless data transfer option for iPhones and iPads. Head Target, they've recalled. egg salad sandwiches and salads. They can make you sick. If you purchase one recently, take it back for a full refund.
Starting point is 00:56:08 And finally, in New York, some people still remain without power. There's also been flash flooding, so officials are warning if you see a street with standing water on it, always turn around. This girl named Amanda is in love, and she wants the whole world to know it.
Starting point is 00:56:22 She's in love with a chandelier. Hmm. Interesting. She identifies as objectum sexual. She's attracted to objects. Mm-hmm. She found the chandelier on eBay. The chandelier's name is Lumineer. And she said it's true love.
Starting point is 00:56:37 So you're going to have a commitment ceremony since you know you can't legally marry a chandelier. And her closest friends will be there. What are the, like a toaster? Right. Like, hmm. Okay. What if you're close to her? And she's like, hey, go, come to the wedding.
Starting point is 00:56:58 No. Would you go? You're her friend. Yes, I'll go support her, but I think that maybe she needs help. Is that wrong? What if it makes her totally happy? She's totally normal in every other way? There's no way.
Starting point is 00:57:15 You're saying she can't be totally normal every other way if she's... I've never had experience with somebody falling in love with an object, so I don't know, but I would think that there's something off. And not that that's bad. We all have things that are off about us. This is way off, though. I know, because I'm tiptoeing around it because I want to be sensitive to anybody listening
Starting point is 00:57:34 that might be in love of an object. Objectum sexual? But it's like, okay, something is a little off. And sometimes when things are off, we get help. Usually I just need more carbs in my diet. Right. It could be that. If I'm attracted to the things.
Starting point is 00:57:48 Yeah. All right, I'll give you a clip from a TV show. All you have to do is name the TV show. Okay. I got five of them. Let's see how many you can get. Are you ready? Ready.
Starting point is 00:57:57 Number one, can you name this TV show by the clip? Cut it out. Full House. You know, who's that it? Uncle Joey. Uncle Joey is correct. There you go. There's one.
Starting point is 00:58:14 Name this one. I am the one who knocks. What? Okay, want to hear it again? I am the one who knocks. I have no idea. I am the one who knocks. I'm the one that knock.
Starting point is 00:58:28 I don't know. I hear. This could totally be wrong, but Brian Cranston from Breaking Bad. Is that your answer? Sounds like his voice, yeah. Wow! I don't, okay. I don't know what that's from.
Starting point is 00:58:43 Isn't I know I'm the one, what that means? Mike D., what's I am the one who, I've watched the whole show. I don't know that quote, though. It's when his wife is like, I think she finds out, and then he's explained to no, he's the bad guy. I'm the one that knocks me as I'm the bad guy? All right. How about this one? This is the easy one.
Starting point is 00:58:59 Could I be wearing any more clothes? All right, go ahead. Definitely Joey from Friends. Do you know that scene? Yes. He's got on all of Chainlow's clothes, like all of them. And he's like, and I'm not wearing underwear. All right, here we go.
Starting point is 00:59:13 Not that there's anything wrong with that. I mean, I have many gay friends. My father's gay. Seinfeld. That's right. Not there's anything wrong with that. I started watching the new season of comedians and cars getting coffee. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:59:24 And Eddie Murphy is the first episode. And it's 40 minutes long. And usually these shows are 15 minutes. But they do a 40-minute episode with Eddie Murphy. It's pretty good. I love that show, but they just offered Eddie Murphy $70 million to do stand-up on Netflix. What? Like a few specials?
Starting point is 00:59:38 Wow. $70 million. Oh, my gosh. And he's a little bit before us, but he was humongous in the 80s. Let's do another one. You won't get this one. Three words for you. Treat yourself.
Starting point is 00:59:53 Treat yourself 2011. Maybe you can get it context clues. Okay, Big Bang Theory. Aziz and Sari. That's Parks and Rec. Oh, okay. You ever watch that? No.
Starting point is 01:00:05 I was watching some of Brooklyn 9-9 on the flight. That's a pretty funny show, too. You ever watched that? No. All right. Here's this one. I wish there was a way to know you're in the good old days before you've actually left them. The Wonder Years?
Starting point is 01:00:21 It's one of the final episodes of The Office, if not the final one. Where Ed Helms is character? Oh, I'm not there yet. Oh, yeah? And he's like, man, it's super sad. They're playing music. Creed's playing his guitar. It may be the final episode.
Starting point is 01:00:32 Okay. What he's like, yeah, I wish you could. I wish you could. was a way to know you're in the good old days before you've actually left them. Isn't that true of that? Yeah, I know. I don't think you did very good, huh? I did too. Are you kidding me? That breaking bad one was clutch. You got full house. Okay. Breaking, you get you a three out of five. Yeah, so I missed two, which are... That's a 60% though. Okay, I miss the two I've never seen. Parks and Rec, don't watch, and I'm not there yet on the office. Okay. Calm down.
Starting point is 01:01:01 Where are you on the office? Like, season five. Okay. Six maybe? You're getting there. I'm at the, Steve Carls gone. Okay. Whatever season that is. Yeah. I don't know. It just rolls. Netflix just keeps it rolling.
Starting point is 01:01:11 And it's going to have kind of a downturn a little bit, but then it comes back. Pretty good. I watch it every night before I go to sleep. The best thing about Netflix to me is it goes, are you still watching and it shuts itself down? Yeah. Because my old TV doesn't have a sleep timer. So it Netflix timers for me. And then I get to sleep with the TV off.
Starting point is 01:01:24 Yeah. Because it just shuts down. I'm on a friend's kick right now. So Office is taking a break because I'm just loving the friends. All right. I like that show. I'm just a new. I'm catching it too.

Starting point is 01:05:18 I'm Morgan number two. That's your skinning. It's time for the good news. With Bobby. Tell me something good. When Wayne Wilson passed away in May with no surviving family members, his friends initially planned for a small service of 10 people. but when Drew Mickle, an intern at Brown funeral home
Starting point is 01:05:39 in Niles Michigan, put out a call to the public saying, hey, you should come to the funeral. The small service turned into a massive gathering as more than 3,000 people showed up across the country to honor the deceased veteran. And it wasn't just a local community that came to pay their respects. Others drove to Michigan from Iowa, Tennessee, and Florida because they knew he was a veteran
Starting point is 01:05:57 who didn't have a lot of living family still around. Wow. That's awesome. Quote, even if you think you're alone, the greater American family is here to, to support you, he said. The message to veterans was that you are loved and you are supported and we in the community are all here for you. Isn't that awesome? Love that. Me too. Shout out. He's just an intern to funeral home. Boy, what a weird internship too, though. I know. Like if all the places to intern. Yeah. Maybe that was the only one offering, but. He wants to go into it.
Starting point is 01:06:25 That's a tough business, man. I know. I don't get it. But thankful that some people want to do it. Thank you. And shout out to Wayne Wilson. No longer with us, but for service. And again, shout out to the kid, Drew Mickle, the intern at Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Services and Nile, Michigan. And that is what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good. Bobid Bones Show. This story comes up to day. This story comes us from Clayton County, Georgia.
Starting point is 01:06:52 A 32-year-old woman was in court facing minor charges when it was taken forever to get to her case. She was like, man, I got somewhere to be. Goes out to her car, takes a packet of firecrackers, posts a video on social media and says, If this judge doesn't hurry up and call my case, I'm about to blow up the courtroom. Well, on multiple levels, this is a bonehead, huh? One, you don't do that. You just don't threaten blowing up anything. Two, a courthouse.
Starting point is 01:07:21 Three, she's using firecrackers. That's not going to do it. Well, they didn't know his firecrackers until they searched her car. But yes, it's a bad all the way around. So she's facing numerous felonies now. But did the judge get her out in time? Yeah, you got her out in handcuffs and put her in the slammer. There you go.
Starting point is 01:07:37 All right, that's your bonehead. I'm lunchbox. That's your bonehead story of the day. Hey, over to Catherine in Virginia. Catherine, welcome to the Bobby Bone Show. What's going on? Hey, Bobby, how are you? Pretty good.
Starting point is 01:07:49 What's happening with you? My daughter just got her permit, so we're driving around listening to you. And we love you. We are obsessed with Stanley. And we just wanted to say, good morning. Oh, thanks. So your daughter is, how old? She's 15 and a half.
Starting point is 01:08:06 And that's when you get your permit now, 15 and a half? Yeah, well, in Virginia, yeah. Back in the day, now listen, I'm 39 years old, but back in the day in Arkansas, you were 14 when you got your permit. And we got it. And listen, they weren't enforcing any rules anyway. But you were 14, and you just drove. I was 15, but now she, yeah, I guess they learned that that's probably a bad idea.
Starting point is 01:08:29 How do you feel about her driving for the first time? Is it scary you or no? No, I love it. have four kids and she can help with driving. So I'm so ready to have somebody else. Is she the oldest kid? Yeah. Yeah, no, it's great.
Starting point is 01:08:43 Oh, look at that. Well, thank you. I'll tell Stanley my dog that you said hello. Please do. Thank you. Hey, thanks for calling. Tell her good luck. Wait, you're not with her right now and she's driving and you're on the phone with us.
Starting point is 01:08:52 Or are you? No, she, yeah. No, I pulled over. Okay. But now she's listening to all of this. All right. Well, thank you for calling. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:09:00 All right. Absolutely. Have a great day. See you later. I got to tell you last night was, nutty for me. You know how sometimes you're a smoke alarm and you're like, ah, great. It's like, beep. Yeah. And you're like, I guess the battery's going dead. Beep. And I'm like, okay, well, and it was just starting to go dead. So it only beep, because I set my timer on my phone to figure
Starting point is 01:09:16 how often it was going off every 45 seconds. So that's a long time to go, okay, I think there's a smoke alarm going off. And then you go to one room and you wait 45 seconds. Beep, it's not in that room. So you're like, okay, let me go to another room. Beep, not in that room. I went like five different rooms from the kitchen to laundry room trying to find the stupid smoke alarm could I find it I'm standing there and I hear it's it's somewhere near me going beep and I'm looking for old smoke alarms maybe that are on the ground somewhere nothing finally after about an hour and a half I realized maybe there's a smoke alarm in the basement what yes and there was and that was I was hearing it through my floor it took me an hour and a half to get so I went and I didn't have a battery for it so I took it off
Starting point is 01:10:00 wall, I just threw it outside, throw in the backyard. Yeah. Because it wasn't, I don't know how it keeps beeping if there's no power source to it. Right. Because I took it off, unplugged it, there was no battery in it because the battery was dead, and it kept beeping. And so you can't keep it in the house.
Starting point is 01:10:14 So it's in my backyard somewhere. It's in a bush. Because I didn't want to hear it beep all night. Yeah, what are you going to do? Because like if it rains, is it going to be ruined? You should get a new one. Yeah, I'm going to tell you. The last few times I've done this, I just never got another one put up in my house.
Starting point is 01:10:26 Okay. And then when I moved, they were like, well, you got to replace these fire, these smoke alarms here. But that was my night last night. Or if you ever want to adopt. Adopt what? I don't know. A kid.
Starting point is 01:10:36 Oh, they did that to you through your adoption. They came to look to your house. Yeah. We had to have all the safety precautions. Fire extinguishers. I'm not kidding. And they come and look through the house and go, hey, it's much like getting papers.
Starting point is 01:10:47 Part of your home study. And I'm like, do people do this for everybody that wants to get pregnant? Nope. Yeah, I don't think there are a lot of rules about getting pregnant. Nope. Anybody can deliver a baby.
Starting point is 01:10:57 Anybody can have a baby. But if you don't have a baby. But if you don't have a fire extinguisher under your kitchen sink, well. Let's go over and talk to Allie in North Carolina, who's calling us right now. Hey, Allie. Hi, how are you? Pretty good. What's happening?
Starting point is 01:11:10 Not much. I'm driving back home from a girls weekend in Charleston. Oh, yeah. I was listening to y'all for my long ride home. An extended weekend, eh? All right, well, tell me what would you like to ask? I was just curious, what do y'all do normally, like, when you get home from the show on a day-to-day basis? That's a good question.
Starting point is 01:11:26 Amy, go ahead. I'd say every day is very, very different for me, but a lot of times will for sure include kid time, a workout, I don't know, prepping, whatever we're going to make for dinner. And then, depending on the time of the week, like podcast stuff, show prep, other things we work on. Yeah, I mean, like Amy, every day is a bit different for me. I had an interview that I did yesterday after the show,
Starting point is 01:11:48 and then I hopped on a podcast yesterday, and then Thomas Wright came to my house and we did a podcast. I worked out. I went over some jokes. mostly I keep myself busy with other little creative tasks. And then I try to go to bed. What time do you go to bed? Oh, man.
Starting point is 01:12:03 We try to put the kids down a little after eight. And then my husband and I try to be in bed by nine. Yeah. And then I went to bed last night about nine o'clock or so. Lunchbox, what do you do after the show? I take a nap pretty much every day. I eat some lunch, watch a little bit of TV. And then I try to get a workout in and I pick up the kid from daycare,
Starting point is 01:12:20 hopefully around 3.30. So I get a little dad and kid time. Eddie? We do the podcast. right after the show and then I get home and I eat. I'm starving usually by the end of the day. And then I nap for like a good hour and a half. And then it's family time.
Starting point is 01:12:34 Go, go, go, go, until dinner's ready. And then put the kids to bed and it's back to the grind. There you go. How do you feel? Are you satisfied with that answer, Allie? Sorry. Are you satisfied with those answers? Yes.
Starting point is 01:12:47 I was just wondering if y'all kind of went all day or, well, I guess lunchbox takes on that. About once a week I'll take a nap too. Okay. I'm not a napater. But, I mean, all day. but I wake up at three. I kind of probably wrap up here around 1130 or so. So, I mean, that's like an eight and a half hour, like first part of the day of work.
Starting point is 01:13:05 Right. We just put the hours in at different times, you know? Yeah, well, I couldn't do that, so. Oh, you could. I appreciate you, though, because they're making on this drive variable. You could do it. Anyone can do it. Hey, thank you for the call.
Starting point is 01:13:17 Appreciate that. Thank you so much. All right. All right. Allie and North Carolina. If you guys want to hop on the show, 877, 77, Bobby, especially if a little personal questions like that. What did you have for breakfast today?
Starting point is 01:13:28 I had a macha latte today. All you have for breakfast is a drink. Well, I have, I put collagen, like vital proteins in there. So there's protein. I put a little brain octane. So there's some fat. That's what you eat? Brain octane.
Starting point is 01:13:39 Well, that's all I had. It's like an MCT, that MCT oil or whatever. You're speaking a whole different language. Oh, okay. I thought people would maybe heard of it. But, I mean, that's what I had? What'd you have? I had a yogurt.
Starting point is 01:13:52 That's what you had for breakfast? I had a Greek yogurt. And I put some blueberry. in it. What are blueberries? And I didn't have any octanes. No, brain octane. No. I might say my breakfast is very.
Starting point is 01:14:04 They used to always be the same. Glowing green smoothie every time. But now I mix it up. I mean, I might have oatmeal. I might have a luncheon bar sometimes too. Oh, those are so good. Yeah, those are good. Lunchbox, would you have for breakfast?
Starting point is 01:14:14 I had a tortilla with peanut butter and a banana on it. Wrap it up like a taco. It's easy. You can eat it on the go. Like a toddler. It's not bad. No, it sounds. Isn't that one of your favorite snacks you were making, Bobby?
Starting point is 01:14:25 What were you? You shared us on tortilla snack you've been making. Yeah, it's like a tortilla with almond butter and banana. Yeah. Yeah, pretty much the same thing. Yeah. It's easy. Cute. Y'all are cute. Don't we hatein? Yeah, just because we don't eat brain enzymes.
Starting point is 01:14:38 I know. Brain octane. Bobby bones. Did you get a chance to watch the Mr. Rogers movie trailer? No. Tom Hanks is Mr. Rogers. And I posted on my Twitter yesterday. I mean, the whole internet was going nutty about it.
Starting point is 01:14:52 Here's the clip of that. It's a beautiful day in this. I love the beautiful day for a neighbor, would you be mine? Could you be mine? Please, will you be my neighbor? Eddie, you love Tom Hanks. Did you see it? Love Tom Hanks.
Starting point is 01:15:14 I did not see it, though. I did see the internet raving about it. It looks really good. There have been a few just like money trailers. The top gun trailer came out, which Morgan number two is excited about. Are you into Tom Cruise? You like older men? Yeah, I do like Tom Cruise.
Starting point is 01:15:28 Yeah? Yeah, especially, I mean, as Maverick, you can't. beat that. Yeah, but you like Sylvester Salon. You think he's hot and he's like 100? Yes, I do. And you like Tom Cruise? And he's mid-50s? Yeah. Who else you like up in that older man category?
Starting point is 01:15:45 I mean, I don't know. Tom Hanks? I do like Tom Hanks. I don't find him as attractive, I guess, as Sylvester Salon or Tom Cruise. You're telling me if you got to go on a date with one older man. Amazing. You would pick Sylvester Sloan over Tom Hanks? Yeah. Oh, wow. You would
Starting point is 01:16:01 protect me, you know? I'm ready. Yeah, okay. Tom Hanks is 63 years old. Wow, look at that. And Sylvester Stallone's almost 70, huh? Right? Yeah. Is that true? Nobody knows. Let's go over to Melody in Michigan. Hey, Melody, you're on the Bobby Bone Show. How are you? Hi, Bobby, good. How are you? Real good. What do you want to say? I just want to say that I love listening to the show and you guys inspire me daily, and it's something that me and my four-year-old son love listening to every day. Oh, well, thanks a lot. We appreciate that. I'm glad that you and your son can listen to something together. That's pretty cool. Yeah, he always asks me, Mom, are we going to listen to Bobby before we go to his daycare provider?
Starting point is 01:16:41 Well, you're training them right. That's what I say. Yes. All right. Well, thank you, Melody. Have a great day. Thanks, you too. Over to Cole in Virginia.
Starting point is 01:16:49 Cole, you're on the Bobby Bone Show. How are you? Hey, it's going good. What can I do for you, bud? I was just wondering, have y'all ever moved anywhere, like, away for, work or something and if y'all have was it hard to move away from family and friends? I moved a lot. I mean, for me, I moved, well, I moved a bunch of schools that was growing up because we kept getting moved around. But then it was, when I was 22, when I finished college, I moved from
Starting point is 01:17:16 Arkansas to Austin, and I had never been to Austin before. And they were like, I had gotten a bunch of trouble in Little Rock on the radio because I broke into another radio station. And we took over the airwaves and it was a whole deal. And I got in a lot of trouble. And so, So with that, the station's offering me a job. So the station in Austin, and a program director named Jay Shannon said, hey, I think you're good. You should come do nights here in Austin. I was like, all right, I'm in. And so I moved, never been there, drove through a snowstorm, and got to Austin didn't know a single soul.
Starting point is 01:17:47 And it was fantastic. It was the greatest thing that I ever did because it caused a lot of growth in me because I had to get out of my comfort zone. Now Austin's home to me. So, and I was there until, you know, my early 30s, mid-30s. Yeah. And from there, moved to Nashville. Didn't know anybody here. But the thing about that was I got to bring all my friends with me, so they all moved with me.
Starting point is 01:18:07 But I would say that moving to a place you don't know forces you to have to do things you've never done before, which forces you to grow as a human. I loved it. On the short term, it wasn't good because you're like, nothing's comfortable. But you only, you know, really achieve growth if you put yourself in an uncomfortable situation. Like things don't change unless you put yourself in a situation that doesn't feel familiar. And so I would say I've moved a bunch of times and every time it felt awkward and odd and it didn't feel like it was going to be the long-term solution for me, but every time it's been awesome. So that would be my answer there. Why are you considering that?
Starting point is 01:18:46 Oh, yeah. I'm 22 now right out of college. Been traveling a little bit. Seeing you and a lot of senior statue at Nashville at the Hall of Fame or whatever. And I don't know, I just love traveling and was on the edge about moving somewhere different, but having my new job now, they're offering me to move places like maybe Georgia. Let me give you a little bit of advice thing, Col. Move.
Starting point is 01:19:12 You're 22. You get nothing holding you back. Because if you don't like it, you can always move back. And don't get there. And then in two months, be like, I'm moving back. You got to give it a good nine months. It's like going to a new school. And boy, did I hate moving schools?
Starting point is 01:19:24 I got shipped all over schools. I think one of the things that work best for me, which again I didn't like was being moved schools because we'd get kicked out of a place or evicted or we couldn't pay rent and we'd have to move you know from this apartment to this trailer and there would always be a new school I'd have to go to and you talk about a kid having to walk into a classroom not know anybody I did it first grade I did it in jesseville school then I did it in Lake Hamilton did it at Mountain Pine I had to move schools all the time it's awful but again you then learn you know how to kind of navigate those waters when people have no idea who you are and they're not looking to like you initially. Again, the best thing that ever happened to me was I had some struggles early in my life. I think you should move, bud. Move right now.
Starting point is 01:20:07 Pack your stuff up and go right now. Stop thinking about it. All right, bud. Hope that helps you a little bit. Oh, yeah. Thank you. You have a great show. Hey, thanks for checking out my country music hall of fame exhibit, too.
Starting point is 01:20:17 That's nice of you. No, I love that. All right, buddy. See you later. There's Cole in Virginia. So an animal shelter in Oklahoma City took advantage of all the Storm Area 51 craziness by holding their own event called Storm the Shelter. They posted photos of dogs in tinfoil hats. That's funny. Get it?
Starting point is 01:24:04 I had seen this story, but I didn't know they did the alien dogs. Yes. That's funny. So all the dogs immediately got adopted. Isn't that crazy? Plus, people online have donated over $2,400 simply by coming up with a creative campaign. Listen, bow ties on dogs, alien hats on dogs. Anything on dogs is good.
Starting point is 01:24:26 That's good. I like that one. Yeah, so maybe some people will hear this or see this story and be inspired and be like, okay, let's get creative and figure out a way to get our pets adopted. So, you know, the original moon tapes of Neil Armstrong on the moon. Do you know, look at me in the eyeballs. Look at your paper. Do you know the three people on the spaceship? Spaceship.
Starting point is 01:24:45 On the ship that went to the moon? Neil Armstrong. Buzz. Buzz? What? I can't ever remember how to say. You can do it. I have faith that you.
Starting point is 01:24:52 Boom. Yes. I practiced. Who's the one that doesn't really get a lot of credit? I know. I know. My husband talks about him. And we watch that movie together.
Starting point is 01:25:00 I know. And he's in it. But I don't know. Michael Collins. Yeah. He kind of gets glossed over a little bit. Yeah, poor guy. And I was listening to Buzz Aldrin talk about,
Starting point is 01:25:09 he goes, you know why Neil Armstrong was the first one out? Because he was the closest to the hatch. And old Buzz is like, I could have been closest to the hatch. And I would have been the guy. But, yeah, I like to recognize all three. of them right now because they rest their lives. And now the moon tapes, which are what? Okay. So they're the original footage of, it's like the only one that's left of like original footage of what happened when they stepped on the moon and stuff that was recorded,
Starting point is 01:25:31 like historic first steps, blah, blah, blah. Well, in 1976, a NASA intern bought them at some government surplus auction for $217. Okay? Okay. Yeah. You know how much they sold for this week? Oh, they sold again this week. Yeah, he decided to let go of them for. For a $1.82 million. Wow. Pretty smart buy back in the day. Good for him. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:25:56 I wonder if you could have taken a loan out against those over the years. The tapes are the only remaining first generation recordings of the historic moon missions. So obviously, pretty awesome. And people got their hands on them. I mean, but that's something you bought for $217. But back then, that was like what? 10 million. Yeah, he probably lost money.
Starting point is 01:26:16 I had an astronaut introducing me on Saturday in Seattle. Oh, really? Because it was the 50th anniversary of the moon landing on Saturday. And I was doing some comedy. And it was at the aeronautics center. And an astronaut came out. And I was like, this is the craziest party I've ever been to. Like, if we had a clown, that was crazy, you guys got an astronaut.
Starting point is 01:26:35 It was a real-life astronaut. It was pretty cool. That is cool. What else you got? Speaking of space real quick, do you see like three asteroids are headed towards Earth tomorrow? It's been good knowing you guys. Listen, we got our new studio before it all went down. They're traveling at 42,000 miles per hour.
Starting point is 01:26:48 They're 400 feet wide Here's the thing This is what I hope If Big Brother's listening And let me tell you They're always listening If an asteroid's coming to Earth And it's gonna smash us
Starting point is 01:26:59 Don't let us know Just let it smash us We'll not know the difference anyway It'll just blink our eyes And it's over And I'd rather not go through The mass hysteria of everyone Looting and punching and biting
Starting point is 01:27:11 That's all that's gonna happen Everybody's me biting each other Yeah Or is that just me looking for an opportunity Probably just you But what time tomorrow? I don't I don't have an exact time.
Starting point is 01:27:20 You got on your calendar? Sorry. You got some things you want to get off before? All right, Amy, what else? Okay, the governor of Oregon just signed a new bill that will allow kids to take mental health days off from school. So now in addition to actual sickness, student absences will be allowed for kids to take care of their mental or behavioral health. And the hope is that it'll change the stigma that surrounds mental health issues. Here's what I have to say about that.
Starting point is 01:27:43 I think it's a fantastic idea. I think that we have been, listen, I was brought. up very poor in an uneducated area and mental health was not a thing there wasn't a therapist there wasn't anything other than you're just acting crazy i think with my mom that was a big part of you know why she wasn't so healthy at times she wasn't diagnosed that we had no money i think my mom was bipolar and she was an addict we had no money and so it really wasn't a thing i think introducing the idea of you need to be healthy physically physically and mentally is such a a wonderful thing to everyone early in life. Because it was, you, you felt dumb. I felt dumb because I
Starting point is 01:28:24 didn't know the difference. And now as an adult, I've only finally started to go, oh, I should really try to get right, you know, up here as opposed to like out here in my body. They're both super important. And yes, there will be people to take advantage of it. But there's people that take advantage of everything. So I'm into it. I love the fact that it's just, they're introducing an idea and people will take advantage of it. But also it will help. help people too. And the stigma will hopefully be shed a bit. Oregon is one of the first states to now treat physical and mental health equally. And like Utah is doing the same. So hopefully other states will follow us too. I'm a big fan of Oregon. I've only been there like twice.
Starting point is 01:29:03 Yeah. But I'm going to tell you, they're working on the environment. Like they're passing laws up there that are super environment. Like do this or it's against the law. And now they're, you know, they're very progressive. I like that. All right. There you go. Yep. I'm Amy. That's my file. Thank you. That was Amy's pile of stories. I want to go over and talk to Christy in Texas. We lose her? Yeah, she dropped off.
Starting point is 01:29:26 Man, as soon as I go to these calls, they drop off. I think they hear their name and they pee a little and they just hang up. Like, holy moly, I'm going to go on the radio. If you guys want to call us, you can. 877, 77 Bobby. We'd love to take your calls. The United States makes more of these food items than anywhere else in the world. So what food items do you think we make?
Starting point is 01:29:45 that we lead in? Hot dogs. That's one of them. Nice work. Ding. Go ahead. French fries? Hmm.
Starting point is 01:29:54 Hamburger's? Yeah, let me give me a ding on that one too. Pizza. No. Wow. You're kind of in the right lane for a lot of this food. Donuts. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 01:30:06 Which, by the way, I've been eating these sprinkled donut quest bars. It really is a fantastic flavor. It is? Yeah. I've seen that one. I have not been intrigued, but now you have me interested. It tastes just like a sprinkled chocolate donut. Oh, it's chocolate?
Starting point is 01:30:23 Yeah. Quest bars are relatively good for you as far as protein bars go. Yeah. Like, nothing's as good for you as just... Real food. Right. But if you're on the go, that's... That and the Lara bars are as good for you.
Starting point is 01:30:38 And the Laura bars are all real food. Like three ingredients and you can pronounce everything. Quest bars... Sometimes I'm like, what's that chemical? But I'm like, please give me more. more incapable. Right. I know they're good. So donuts, clam chowder, pie, hamburgers, hot dogs, and
Starting point is 01:30:54 rounding it out is fried chicken. Gotcha. Which I do love me some fried chicken. Boy, my grandma always makes make the best fried chicken. I haven't had good fried chicken in a long time. I like chicken fried steak. People always go, if you're dying, what's your last meal? It's always southern fried food.
Starting point is 01:31:12 Because this is where I grew up. But I haven't had it in a while. I have some today after the show Eddie, you still get a massage after the show today? I am. What? Yeah, it's like a couple's massage, but we're not doing it together.
Starting point is 01:31:23 So it's basically just two massages. Pretty much. It's not a couple's massage. Right. And my wife booked it that way. It wasn't my call. It was weird. And so did you get to pick if you wanted a dude
Starting point is 01:31:31 or a woman massaging you? Well, she had already booked me with a guy. And I was like, no, no, no, I can't do that. You don't want a guy rubbing you? That's not that. Me neither. You donate me? No.
Starting point is 01:31:44 I always want a girl. I am sexist. Well, for me, it's just like, it was like, a guy's too strong. I don't have a lot of muscles. And so I feel like it would hurt if a dude did it. You know what I mean? Like a woman can be a little more like, more of a relaxing massage. So you're seeing a woman as strong as a guy?
Starting point is 01:32:02 She could be. I just feel like a guy. But your wife booked you with the guy. Yeah. And I changed it. Oh, does she like you? Did she know? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:32:10 Okay. I'll say this when I get injured and I have to get massages when I get a guy every time. Shoulders, knees, thighs. Otherwise, I just kind of don't care. Oh. But I do get a guy on injuries. I guess I do like a girl, though, rubbing me.
Starting point is 01:32:27 It's a whole different feel, I think. You know, the guy, it's like, yeah, get in there. I'm telling you, if you just close your eyes, there's no difference. Oh, really? Put a blindfold on. Does that just go with anything? No, there's a difference when they talk to. No, I don't have them talk.
Starting point is 01:32:40 Like, don't talk. Go in, put one of those masks on, you know, like at those parties. Masquerades. Yeah. And then don't look and just let them rub away. And at the end, play a game
Starting point is 01:32:50 where you just kind of walk out and be like, you have to pick which one it was. Okay. Is that what you do? There's three people all standing there and you have to pick which one it was.
Starting point is 01:32:58 Funny. So you're going to do that today and you're not getting a guy. I'm doing that today and I'm going to have a woman do it. Yeah. Let us know how they go. Thank you.
Starting point is 01:33:05 I will. All right. It's time for the good news. With Amy. Tell me something good. So this guy was driving his Ford Ranger down the road when he,
Starting point is 01:33:16 he got a blowout on his tire, and he spun out, rolled onto his roof, and that's when, like, a dozen just people that saw it, Good Samaritans rushed over to help save him. They were all able to collectively, like, push the truck on its side. So then, and then, like, a firefighter happened to be driving by, not on duty or whatever, but he was like, oh, I'm going to go help. And he's one of the ones that helped get him out of the car, the driver. And he's totally safe.
Starting point is 01:33:44 Like, no serious injuries. and ABC, a Chicago station there had a helicopter above, and so they have aerial footage of it happening. And so it's just really cool to see everybody see the accident and then rally together to save him and the fact that they were able to push over a truck. Yeah, do you think if like a car fell on one of your kids? That I would be able to know my superhuman strength.
Starting point is 01:34:12 You know, they say all that adrenaline kicks in. I know. Probably not me alone. but if I had 11 others, apparently, maybe I could. There you go. That's what it's all about right there. That was Tell Me Something Good. The latest from Nashville and Hollywood.
Starting point is 01:34:28 Morgan No. 2's 32nd Skinny. Teneal Towns released a new version of her song, Somebody's Daughter. She redid the song with the Girl Scouts of Middle Tennessee Troop 6,000, which is made up of girls who are either homeless or have been. Wow. And they're earning their musician badge with Teneal. I didn't know that's what that troop was about. I saw the story and I thought it was cool to shoot it and sing with some Girl Scouts.
Starting point is 01:34:51 I did not know. Do we have a clip of this, Ramundo? All right, here we go. Somebody's daughter. That's really cool. Shout out to Tenil Towns for that. What else? Congrats to Adam Hambrick.
Starting point is 01:35:18 He and his wife had their second daughter. He just shared the news on social media. It happened on Friday and her name is Heidi. Yeah. Adam's a really good buddy of mine. And I was like, he texted me like the night before. He's like, dude, we're trying everything to have this baby. And I was like, you know what you should do?
Starting point is 01:35:34 I said, you know what brings a baby? And he goes, well, I said, you should like, you do make love. And he was like. So you said it? Well, no, this is what I said. It's fine. It's early. No, this is what I said, you know what, how to get a baby?
Starting point is 01:35:46 And he said, how? I said, well, they say sex brings a baby. And he was like, all right. I said, so I'm here if you need me. And then he is like, ha ha. Then I said, no, I'm talking about you. Thank you. I just made the joke. I just kept turning it.
Starting point is 01:35:59 Got it. Thank you. Yes. All right. What else, Morgan, number two? And then also in some baby news, Jason Aldeem posted a video of his son, Memphis. He captioned the video, can somebody please translate this for me because he couldn't figure out what he was saying? What do you want?
Starting point is 01:36:14 No, no more. But some of my son, my son, let's, that he's saying. Oh, I know what he's saying. What? Take me down to Old Town Road. Oh. Yeah, yeah. Got it.
Starting point is 01:36:31 All right, there you go. That baby is like model baby. It might be the prettiest baby ever. He wants a beer. He's like, Dad, I want a beer. All right, is that it? Yep, I'm Morgan number two. That's the skinny.
Starting point is 01:36:44 Folks, it's your buddy and mine. Mr. Bobby Bones. Let's go. Transmitting across America. This is the Bobby Boll. Over to Amy now with the joke. The Morning Corny. How do Buffaloes settle arguments?
Starting point is 01:37:07 How do Buffaloes settle arguments? Let Bisons be a Bisons. Oh, there you go. That's pretty good. That's pretty good. That was the morning corny. I want to go and talk to Arkansas Keith, who, much like a prison sentence, served as my stepdad for about eight years. And he's on the phone right now. Arkansas Key, there he is. Good morning. Good morning. Today, I believe, if I'm correct, is Arkansas Keith's birthday.
Starting point is 01:37:35 Yeah. Happy birthday. Is that true? It is. Look at this. Happy birthday right here. What are you doing to celebrate your birthday today? Cutting some grass on Lake Warshall.
Starting point is 01:37:47 So you're working today? I am working today. So describe to our listeners what your job is and what you do at your job right now. Well, we get these lawnmowers and we ride around the lake, pull them around the lake. Pulling them around the lake on a trailer and we unload the moors, mow the grass, move to another area and do the same thing. Well, I used to work maintenance on a golf course. It was the same thing, just around a circle.
Starting point is 01:38:12 Constantly. I mean, every day we would drive these mowers around and we would take them off. Or we would weed eat the side of these golf courses, these holes. And it was just that same thing all the time. And all you did, it was look forward to. Lunch and getting off work. That was it. I've worked for nine more.
Starting point is 01:38:31 Yeah. Yeah. So since it's, what, today's July 23rd, it's Arkansas Keith's birthday. You know, since it's so hot, I imagine, what, not a lot of fishing right now? It's actually cool off today, but it's been terrible here lately. Fishing's really been bad from the heat. And how old are you? 63.
Starting point is 01:38:52 63 years old. A strong, vibrant 63 years old. And so you're not doing anything for, like, dinner or anything? Well, Cammy came home from Missouri over the weekend, so we all got together over the weekend. Went out to the casino. To the casino? I got around the casino. And Hot Springs?
Starting point is 01:39:14 Yeah. You know, for the racetrack, you see if there's casino there now. Yeah. Well, like, happy birthday. We just spent some time with my daughters and my son-law, and that's... And so today is the actual day, though. Buh. Buh.
Starting point is 01:39:29 Oh. Yeah, he texts me during celebrity family few. They were watching. They're not quite as exciting as they used to be. Who, them? You know? I thought he met the family. I was like, well, don't say that on radio. You don't look 63 at all. You are a young 63.
Starting point is 01:39:58 Well, sometimes I don't feel 63, but sometimes I do. So. Morgon number two things are hot. She likes older guys. Yeah. Well, good. I appreciate that. Oh, great. I was saying here that Arkansas I'll keep the text of me during our celebrity family feud match. What did you think about that? I wouldn't see you guys win, man. I know, me too. I was kind of sick of myself when we didn't win. We had a chance on the last question and we didn't do it. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:40:13 When lunchbox was trying to get, when he did the ball cap, I think, no, it's bray, man. It's bray. And I got thinking maybe it's Beanie. But I would have got Blau. Then it was none of them. We went through all those, I think. We just didn't come up with blouse because that seemed like a term that people don't use anymore.
Starting point is 01:40:29 I mean, but of course, now... After blazer, you're thinking, you know, it's not going to be up or where, but it was. Anything you'd like to say, I'm going to give you this platform here on your birthday. What would you like to say to the millions of people listening to you right now, Arkansas Keith? I'm going to live in a hundred.
Starting point is 01:40:46 All right. There he is. How about that? How's your health? Everything good? Healthy? You good? Living life? Airplane's kicking right along, man. I'm going to continue to work a few more years, and just out goes. So far, so good. You know, I'll have my be off in October for the hunting and fishing and oh man so I can't wait are you going out to
Starting point is 01:41:06 Wyoming this year to do any hunting we are not we tried to draw tags but we were not fortunate to draw tags so so what happens is the lottery right we used to get the lottery every year like a lottery yeah and they draw and you get tags to actually go up and hunt you just can't go up and hunt you got to basically permission and so you have to be drawn to get a tag which is hey this is how many you have and you guys did not get drawn this year you know we tried for deer and antelope both and didn't get either one so
Starting point is 01:41:33 we're not going where you're going to go now I find something else to do maybe I already go out do some peasant hunting or something I don't know and then you know duck hunting will be here I'll just live for that so
Starting point is 01:41:44 that's the plan till he's 100 he's a I just go down hunting Arkansas Keith and I would we would go out and again I would do a decent amount of hunting but I didn't like cold.
Starting point is 01:41:57 I don't like cold. And the water's cold, and if you get it into your waiters, you're done. And I would fall down. I'd have my waiters on and you fall down. And once the water goes in your waiters, you're done because everything inside the waiters is, so I would get sent back to the truck.
Starting point is 01:42:12 Basically have to get naked and let the heat dry me out while he stayed out and duck on it. I wasn't the most fleet of foot out in the water. Would you agree with that? Well, you were younger then. You know, it's probably better now than you were then. I don't know. I don't know. Well, listen, happy birthday.
Starting point is 01:42:29 Happy birthday from all of us here at the show. Yeah, appreciate it. And good to talk to you and we'll talk to you soon. Yeah, good talking to you do, man. Thanks for calling. All right, Arkansas Keith. Happy birthday. There he is, right there.
Starting point is 01:42:39 Mountain Pine Mayor says, hey. Who is the Mountain Pine mayor right now? Robert Palmer, the mayor of Mount Pine. You met him at Mountain Pine? He said, tell you, hey, he's sitting here by me. He works with me. Oh, well, there you go. Oh, cool.
Starting point is 01:42:50 Maybe that's my next step before I'm governor of Arkansas. Mayor? Mayor of Mountain Pine. Yeah. Do I have to unseat Robert. Robert Palmer, who said to Arkansas, Keith, he's listening to all of this. I'm going to have a debate. He's the ex-mayor now.
Starting point is 01:43:03 Ex-manger. He's the ex-maier now. All right. Hey, hey, I want to talk to the former politician. Keith, ask him if he thinks Bobby can be the governor of Arkansas. Do you think Bobby can be the governor of Arkansas? He said probably. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:43:20 I think he can too. Looks like you have an endorsement right there. I got an endorsement from the former mayor of Mountain Pine. Robert Palmer. Hey, how much does that the mayor of Mountain Pine, how much does they get paid? How much do you get paid for being a mayor? $200 a month. $200 a month.
Starting point is 01:43:34 Sounds good to me. It's not bad. Better than zero bucks a month. $50 a week. All right, we got to go. All right, see you later, Ken. All right, man. Have birthday.
Starting point is 01:43:44 All right, thanks for calling. There he is. Bye-bye. Hanging out, working hard every day. Ex-mare. I love talking to that, dude. Yeah. He texts me anytime on TV, because he, like,
Starting point is 01:43:55 he appreciates that I didn't come from anything and so he's like, I can't believe you're on family feud like it's so cool that he kind of reaches out to me because it's always a reminder of hey don't forget where you came from and I don't forget but he's always like I can't believe you're on TV again like what world is this where you're on
Starting point is 01:44:11 family feud and I'm like I know and so they all sat around and watched and then he was disappointed we lost as was I but yeah anytime anything he sees me on TV he's like I cannot believe you're on TV again I'm like I know I can't either so I got to talk to him and happy birthday to my former stepdad.
Starting point is 01:44:27 We spent a good seven, eight years. He was punished by a good seven, eight years of hard labor by having me. All right, time for Riddle Me This. These are all kids' riddles. Get it and get a point. The first riddle in riddle me this. What is always in front of you but can't be seen? This is the first kid's riddle of the day.
Starting point is 01:44:55 what is always in front of you but cannot be seen they're writing their answers down there I'm in for the win lunchbox is in I got it producer Eddie is in Amy we're coming over to you what is always in front of you
Starting point is 01:45:11 but can't be seen The future? Correct Oh my God Wow Wow Why is he so surprised Lunchbox what do you have? The future
Starting point is 01:45:19 Boom Two right Eddie Windshield Oh But you can see it You see right through it But you don't see it
Starting point is 01:45:29 Wed shelf. Yeah. Okay. Riddle me this. Question number two. I can be found in water, but I'm never wet. What am I? I can be found in water, but never wet.
Starting point is 01:45:50 What am I? Riddle me this. What? I can be found in water. Yeah, louder. That's what we need. I can be found in water. but never wet.
Starting point is 01:46:08 Everything in the water's wet. Or is it? I can be found... Say it one more time. I can be found in water, but never wet. What am I? I'm in for the wind.
Starting point is 01:46:24 Is it frustrated in for the wind from lunchbox? Yeah, I'm in. Is it windshield, Eddie? No. I'm maybe too literal on all these, but... I don't know. A cloud.
Starting point is 01:46:34 Interesting. Would you talk me through that? No. I just wonder how you got there. I don't know. That is incorrect. I'm sorry. Lunchbox, I can be found in water, but I'm never wet.
Starting point is 01:46:47 What am I? At first I had cloud. How did you have cloud? I don't know. See, thank you, thank you. I went with reflection. Reflection. Oh, that is it.
Starting point is 01:46:57 That's really good. Oh my gosh, that's it. Reflection is correct. Yeah. Eddie? Oh my gosh, here we go. I put oxygen. Oh.
Starting point is 01:47:12 H-2-0. Right. But that's a solid guess. Thank you. Yeah. I mean, Bill Nye, the science guy, might argue on your behalf.
Starting point is 01:47:19 Okay. But that is not the answer we have here. Lunchbox takes the lead with one question to go. Are you ready? Ready. Final riddle. And riddle me this. When things go wrong,
Starting point is 01:47:32 what can you always count on? When things go wrong, what can you always count on? Riddle me this. When things go wrong. wrong, what can you always count on? Guys, I think I have it. Ooh. Eddie, you've almost been eliminated in the way, but it's fine.
Starting point is 01:47:57 So I'm going to go out on a limb here. Yeah, yeah. Go big. I mean, I don't know. I'm just like going out here. All right, Eddie, I'm going to let you go first. Okay. I'm able to win. Thank you.
Starting point is 01:48:06 For any reason whatsoever, you cannot win, but let's see if you get it. Calculator. When things go wrong, what can you always count on a calculator that's incorrect? You count on... Amy, you can tie if you get this. Go ahead. You can always count on your fingers. Oh.
Starting point is 01:48:20 That's a solid guess. One, two, three, four. Your fingers, your fingers is correct. What? It is? Yes. Oh, wow. Now over to Lunchbox, if he gets it, he wins.
Starting point is 01:48:28 If he doesn't, it's a tie, we'll go to sudden death. Lunchbox, for the win, when things go wrong, what can you always count on? Count on your hands, boys and girls. Mike D, does hands count or it has to be fingers? Mike D is that, what, excuse me? It has to be fingers. It has to be what's written on the piece of paper. I won't argue, but.
Starting point is 01:48:49 So we have it to. We're going to sudden death. Sudden death. The actual, the rule is it has to be written on the page as the answer. So this is what we do every time. Eddie, you've been eliminated. I'm sorry. Thank you.
Starting point is 01:49:00 Thanks, Ben. Here we go. If you know it, just buzz in your name. The first one to get it wins. Okay. I'm tall when I'm young. I'm short when I'm old. What am I?
Starting point is 01:49:17 I'm tall when I'm young. I'm short when I'm old. What am I? Think about that. Riddle me this. Ooh. I'm tall when I'm young and I'm short. No, yeah, I'm tall when I'm young.
Starting point is 01:49:37 I'm short when I'm old. Riddle me this. Do you want a hint? Yes. Hold on, I'm tall when I'm old. Tall when I'm short. No, no. The first hint is I own these things.
Starting point is 01:49:52 Okay. I'm tall when I'm young. I'm short when I'm old. Hint number two. They're considered feminine. Not by all, but they're considered feminine. I get made fun of for having these things. I don't know.
Starting point is 01:50:11 You're talking about yourself or all, like... He has these things that are feminine that are tall when they're young and short. When they're old. Tall and short, young and old. What's tall and short besides people? Are you ready? Lunchbox. Lunchbox.
Starting point is 01:50:29 I'll say flowers because they shrivel up and die, so they get short. Incorrect. one final one final clue fire is involved I'm tall when I'm young I'm short when I'm old if you don't get in the next 10 seconds Amy it's a tie and everybody just
Starting point is 01:50:46 everybody wins even me even you win that yeah this is exhausting me take your time maybe I'm tall when I'm young I'm short when I'm old Bobby has them they're feminine and there's fire involved yes five seconds my original answer Benjamin Button is not going to fit this time I need an answer I'm sorry, time is up.
Starting point is 01:51:10 It's a candle. I'm tall when I'm young. I'm short when I'm old. I have them. They're feminine considered and they have to fire. Yes, that's so true. Well, everybody wins. We have no losers today.

Starting point is 01:55:24 After the show today, at noon eastern, I think, a new Bobbycast goes up with Thomas Rhett. We've held it until today So Thomas Strait came by the house He actually called and was like Hey, do you order some postmates? Oh, is you hungry? Well, I was like, are you hungry?
Starting point is 01:55:40 And he goes, no, but you need to get them gains Because I was working out And I was like, no, we're good That's nice of him Yeah, it's really nice of them So he came by and we talked about a lot of stuff He talked about why he doesn't wear cowboy boots on stage After getting people calling them out saying,
Starting point is 01:55:56 You're not country, here's that clip. Why am I not country? Well, you don't wear cowboy boots on stage Okay, let me mentally go through that. The reason I don't wear cowboy boots on stage is because I jump up and down like a crazy person and on the Aldine tour in 2013 his thrust was this metal grading material and I was wearing sniptoed cowboy boots and got stuck in them every night. That's the reason I don't wear cowboy boots on stage.
Starting point is 01:56:17 Does that make me not country? I think no. So we had a really good conversation about how him and I are similar. You know, he was born in Georgia, lived in Nashville. I was born in Arkansas and we both get told, hey, you're not country. And we're like, what's not country about us except for? we grew up in an age where we had a lot of influences from everywhere because of the digital world. And so he talks about that. He talked about what it was like growing up with the famous dad,
Starting point is 01:56:39 you know, Red Aiken's, and what it was like being around artists growing up and also some of the troll comments he gets about that. Met Garth when I was like eight or nine years old. We spent like a couple of Halloween's over at Reba's house. Mostly people that dad toured with, I knew pretty well. Oh, and that's my favorite comment I've ever gotten. Your daddy must be so ashamed. Oh, people say that. Oh, yeah. For about a year. there, that was the special comment. Your daddy is ashamed of you. And I was like, I don't think he is.
Starting point is 01:57:06 It's a really good conversation. Go over and subscribe to the Bobbycast, if you can, but Thomas Redd, episode 189 goes up today around noon. Subscribe on wherever you listen to your podcast or IHeartRadio. So it's a fantastic episode. And there's some stuff on there too
Starting point is 01:57:21 that I haven't mentioned yet that you'll love. It's just over an hour of Thomas Red and I just talking about life. It's time for the good news. With lunchbox. There's these three buddies up in Massachusetts. They're headed to the Red Sox game, and their fourth buddy cancels at the last minute.
Starting point is 01:57:38 They have an extra ticket. They're like, man, who can we get to go? We want to treat someone nice. So they go outside the stadium, and they find a homeless man named John. They say, John, when's the last time you've been to a Red Sox game? He's like, it's been years, man. And they gave him the ticket, and he sat with them, and they sang and chanted and enjoyed the Red Sox game together.
Starting point is 01:57:58 And John said that was awesome. That is awesome. Good for them too. Love it. Pretty cool. Morgan number two went to Red Sox game recently. Yeah, my first professional baseball game ever. And I saw you on the field at Fenway and I was like, what is happening? Yeah, it was so cool.
Starting point is 01:58:11 Who did you know? Just some, like one of our stations in Boston, Jessica, she hooked me up with a girl at Fenway and yeah, they gave us a full tour, sat on the green monster, went in the green monster, it was insane. That's real. I'm jealous right now. And good for those dudes in Boston
Starting point is 01:58:28 for doing something nice for somebody else. That's a good story. That's what it's all about right there. That was Tell Me Something Good. Bobby Boom. Come on. Public school in Pennsylvania sent out dozens of letters earlier this month telling parents who had unpaid lunch debt that their children could be taken away from them and placed in foster care. Wow.
Starting point is 01:58:47 How ridiculous it does. That's extreme. Like, I don't get it. The Wyoming Valley West School District. It's not about 1,000 letters to students who had $10 or more in meal debt. All told. Some might be $10, some might be $300, but hey. District officials said altogether the families owed $22,000 in breakfast and lunch payments.
Starting point is 01:59:09 Do you want to hear what the note said? Yes. Your child has been sent to school every day without money and without a breakfast and or lunch. This is a failure to provide your child with proper nutrition, and you can be sent to dependency court for neglecting your child's right to food. If you are taken to dependency court, the result may be your child being removed from your home and placed in foster care. Boy, Escalated quickly, huh? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:59:31 Like, yo, it's ten bucks from Cheerios. And now we shall take your children. They're like, this'll get them. Also, you know, I'm going to tell you what the story's going to do. It's going to let people be aware there's an issue and they'll pay this off. Yeah. I have a great feeling that people in Pittsburgh or people in the Pittsburgh metro area will go, oh, we didn't know.
Starting point is 01:59:47 Oh, yeah. One of my things is if you just let people know you need something for this or anywhere else in life. Like, and we feel at times, man, just not get any support, not get any support, not get any help. You're letting people know that you need support and help. And I think this is, again, we'll just call it a metaphor for everything else happening with us and in life. Like if you don't tell people you need something, you're not going to get something. And I think because this new story, what's going to be fantastic is, and mark my word, this will get paid off. Yeah. Because people will hear it and go, no one's going to go here's $20,000. But collectively, a dollar from
Starting point is 02:00:19 22,000 people. Or 50 bucks. Something like that. Yeah. So if you're listening, because we're on in Pittsburgh, maybe there's something you want to help out with. Maybe you can give them a call. This is the Wyoming Valley West School District in Pennsylvania. It may not even be Pittsburgh. It may just be. But regardless, that's the story right there. Four accounts showed families that owed more than $450 each.
Starting point is 02:00:41 Now, I'll say this too. There's also a bit of empathy for me. I couldn't afford food. I couldn't afford lunch. I was on the free lunch plan as a kid. Breakfast and lunch. So I'd have to get to school early to eat breakfast or I wouldn't have food to eat for breakfast.
Starting point is 02:00:53 And so I know what that's like. and I wonder if I wonder why is there not a free lunch or free breakfast plan anymore again I haven't been school in a few years I graduated like three years ago I don't know I'm sure every district is different there's got to be right the weird thing for me was they I told you they'd put the free lunch kids in a whole different line which is so absurd and they make hopefully they've grown from that you've to learn from that that's that's a mistake yeah they'd be like to single kids out the other kids like there's the poor line over there maybe you should get in the poor line that was a running joke I hate that like you should go get the poor line and
Starting point is 02:01:24 all us in the poor line where we'd be like, yeah, come hang out with us. I used you as an example. I don't even know if it fit at all. But my daughter, she didn't want to go into, at church on Sunday, she didn't want to go into the youth group. Like class, she just, and she was really nervous about it. I don't know why, because she's gone before. She went to church camp. But like, she did not want to go in. And I don't know if something happened or someone said something to her. But she was like, I'm scared. And I mean, her eyes were watering. And I didn't want to be like a whole. horrible parent at church, like making your kid go, but I knew she'd be better for it if she went in. And I was like, you know, and I don't even know where this came from because I don't even know
Starting point is 02:02:04 fit, but I'm like, you know, Bobby, he got picked on a lot at school because she couldn't tell me what it was. So I didn't know if somebody made fun of her or something. I said, I mean, he was at lunch one day and someone just came up to him and poured ketchup on his head. I said, but you know what? He kept going back to school. That's true. Oh, and that's true. still he could have like been i'm sure it was scary to go back the next day and go into the lunchroom the next day knowing that kids might again dump more ketchup on his head but he still went and i was like and look at bobby now like it jumped all the way from that to like you know how you worked through it and it's great and i don't know if it helped did she go she eventually went in and what did
Starting point is 02:02:47 she also tell the story about how they stuck your head in the toilet they did that too yeah it was a But guess what? He still went back. That's right. I didn't always want to go back. And it's okay to not want to do something. Right. And I wanted her to acknowledge her emotions and that they were real and it was okay for
Starting point is 02:03:05 her to feel them, not just like blow them off. Like stop being that way. Get in the class. You're going to class. But I mean, we sat outside on the stairs in the little hallway for about 15 minutes. She walked into class 15 minutes late. But right when I walked in, I saw the youth group guy go over, hand her, a little Bible and then he was like, this is where we are. And then they started reading.
Starting point is 02:03:25 So I was like, oh, so thank you for those stories. I don't know. I guess that's, that helped me. How did she come out? Was she glad she went in? She was like, it was good. It was fine. I think it's cool, though, that you also acknowledged her feelings because feelings are never wrong. Like, you can have any feeling you want, but it's how you react and then further act on those feelings. I mean, I'm scared all the time and stuff still. All the time. Scared, intimidated, you know, and I think sometimes you think, oh, look at Bobby's, but no, I mean, you kind of don't change who you are, but I have a lot of past experiences where it's just like, all right, I've been scared before and jumped into things and it worked out okay most of the time.
Starting point is 02:04:07 It doesn't always work out wonderfully, but I'm glad that you acknowledge that it's okay to be scared. It's okay to feel this way, but it's always about what you do even though you're feeling away. Right. But to circle back why I thought of that, too, is because as adults, we should know that are in charge of things like the free lunch for kids. Like we shouldn't put them in situations that are going to end up making them nervous or scared or not to want to go get in line or not to want to go back to school. Like, you know, create, put them in the same line and figure out like a discreet way for them to
Starting point is 02:04:36 receive their free lunch. You talk about discreet. And just kind of jumping on this because you say that back when I was a kid, when I was a food stamp kid, they gave us food stamps that were literal colored paper. I was so embarrassed using them. Now they get. they have cards. It looks like credit card. Yeah. And good for them. And I'm glad it happens that way.
Starting point is 02:04:55 But man, I was passing out orange slips like a five orange trying to get some food. People would look like, oh, it's food stamp boy. But now it's more. They fixed that. And I enjoy that. So now you can go and swipe your card. It looks just like your credit card. And hopefully there are no eyeballs on you judging.
Starting point is 02:05:12 Right. I used to go down to the store called Parthinas. And I take the food stamps. We'd get some food stamps. I'd get like 15 bucks. a month and I would go down and I'll buy hamburgers and I pass them out to my friends is a real real because in my town sometimes you didn't know you were poor because everybody else was poor so a lot of my early childhood we didn't we didn't know how poor we were because it didn't
Starting point is 02:05:36 no one else was you know affluent there was no there were no rich people around us it was only later on where you go oh okay that was a struggle but man I used to go down the food stamps I thought I was just baller baller bobby all right boys what do you want Slapping us food stamps. Like, who wants a burger, baby? Burgers for everyone. Burgers on me, baby. That was awesome.
Starting point is 02:05:56 It was awesome. All right, let me say this. CMA Fest, Sunday, August 4th at 8, 7 Central on ABC. It is a three-hour special. Again, it starts at 7 Central. The show is hosted by Thomas Red, Kelsey Ballerini, and myself. And special collaborations include Lil Naz-X with Billy Ray Cyrus and Keith Urban, Brantley Gilbert, and Lindsay L.
Starting point is 02:06:17 Marin Morris, and Brandy Carlisle, Carrie Underwood, and Joan Jett, holy moly. It's going to be a great show at three-hour special 8-7 Central CMA Fest August 4th. What I say, the 23rd? Mm-hmm. Yep. Just a couple weeks out of that?
Starting point is 02:06:31 Yeah. A little over two weeks or so. Is that right? Okay. For more information, CMAFest.com. I hope you watch it. My career depends on it. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 02:06:40 I need good ratings for that show. Oh. That would help. Yeah, I need good ratings for that show. Yeah. I wouldn't have to be on food stamps. You know what I mean? That's right.
Starting point is 02:06:49 Yeah. Over to Aaron in Chicago. Aaron, thank you for calling the Bobby Bone Show. What's happening? Morning studio. Morning. Oh, wow. It caught me off guard too.
Starting point is 02:07:00 I was like, what, Martin? It's like muscle memory. Yeah. Thanks, Aaron for calling. What's up? I just want to call and say that I've loved all the drafts you guys have been doing. And today, lunchbox's team is my favorite. Lunchbox, who is on your team today?
Starting point is 02:07:13 First round, It's Your Love, Tim McGraw. Second round, don't take the girl. Tim McGraw. And the third round, check yes or no by George Strait. That's the best draft out there. We drafted songs today in the country love song draft, and those were lunches picks. Well, you can go over to bobby bones.com,
Starting point is 02:07:29 and you can vote for the team that you think is the best. And then I guess we'll update it tomorrow and I'll hold my trophy up. Is that how we're going to do it? No, did you not hear? I can't wait to see you guys in Chicago. Oh, I can't wait to see you either. Yeah, raging idiots.
Starting point is 02:07:41 And next Friday, not this Friday. You know the big debate is, Amy? What? We have a new song called Old Folks Home. It's a parody of Old Town Road. It's doing wonderful. We put up at the video. today. Do we play it at the
Starting point is 02:07:53 Opry on Friday night? Eddie and I are playing the Grand Ole Opry. Yes. It's so funny. Is it? Yes. Because there's a lot, the crowd goes from really young to really old. It's the operas. All of America goes to the Grand Ole Opry. It's the most cherished place in country music.
Starting point is 02:08:09 I think it's my 10th time to play it. So I love playing. I go back as much as possible. But I try to respect it because I know my grandma and I would listen to it all the time on the radio. That's why it's so important to me. That being said, we're playing a parody and it's about going to all folks home. Do we play it at the Randal Opry? Yes.
Starting point is 02:08:25 Okay. Even after I gave you all that, you still say yes. Yes, 100%. Eddie, how do you feel about that? I mean, she says it's relatable. I don't know if anyone looks forward to that. And especially when you get near that age where you're like, this could happen to me and it becomes a reality. I mean, Bones, this is a great thing to consider.
Starting point is 02:08:43 Like, I love that song. I think it's funny, but we may offend a bunch of people. Whatever. You're not going to offend anybody. If they're offended, nah. Because, Bones, here's my thing. I don't know if a lot of people go to the opera for comedy. But they don't, but that's okay.
Starting point is 02:08:57 Like, I'll go out and do stand-up and they're like, oh, there's somebody doing a comedian here. Yeah. So I got to always shift them. It takes a minute. Yeah. But I'm okay with that. And no one ever expects me to come out and tell jokes.
Starting point is 02:09:06 But I have to think about it. But Friday night, we're playing the Grand Ole Opry. But I like that you say yes. I totally say yes. Because you're kind of Sally's safety. Yeah. You know, Susie's safeness. Well, I would watch out for other people's feelings there.
Starting point is 02:09:20 And I think that you should play it. All right. I do want to mention this. Researchers say that simply refraining from talking to someone going through a stressful time is more helpful than attempting to be encouraging or positive. Boy, I completely subscribe to this. If I'm having a rough time, I don't need someone to pet me on my shoulder and be like, it's okay. You're going to be okay. Like, I know how I'm going to be because I've been it before.
Starting point is 02:09:42 But I don't need you caressing my hair telling me it's going to be all right. Maybe even an occasional hey If you need anything, I'm here for you. I know you're going through a rough time. That's it. For me, that's how I deal. By talking to people, they say you're adding stress and not giving them enough space to think out of the funk.
Starting point is 02:09:59 So even though you think it's important, to offer advice, it's best to wait until they're in a more relaxed state to talk to them. Amy, your thoughts. Oh, man, I feel like I try to console or make it better. So that's helpful information to me to know that it's probably better just to say nothing, but maybe like you said,
Starting point is 02:10:15 offer support. Like, hey, you're going through this right now, I can tell. Like, it's stressful. Yeah, hey, I know something's up. If you need me, let me know. Okay. And that's a bit how I roll. Ooh, like, I'll see you.
Starting point is 02:10:28 I'll be like, hey, you good? But then I know I'm going to say, if you need me, let me know and, like, you might need me, but you're not going to let me know. But you've already told me. Okay. Like, if you're struggling with something, I'm like. But I don't want to be an empty, like an empty thing. I genuinely mean it. I know.
Starting point is 02:10:41 And I mean it toward you. And I go, hey, you good? All right. Well, if you're not, that's usually what I say to you. Are you good? Yeah. If you're not, let me know. I'm right here.
Starting point is 02:10:50 And then let's, if not, we need, we're going to work. But if you need to not work, I'm right here. Yeah. There's been a lot of those moments over the years. And that's me trying to acknowledge. Yeah. Do you want me to like rub your shoulders or like play with your hair? No, I guess when I think of how I want to handle it too, like it's good to know that you have
Starting point is 02:11:09 support. But yeah, you don't, you have to think your way through it. You have to work your way through the strength. and get over that hump. Like nobody's words are really going to, it's nice to know you have the encouragement, though, but I'm going to definitely keep that in mind. Thank you. Probably less is more.
Starting point is 02:11:23 I think in general with life, just acknowledging that people are going through things is awesome. Even, I mean, you can offer support or not, but I think sometimes we just don't acknowledge. We feel like, and it's a bit unfair, we, and again, this is us feeling like people aren't in it with us, and when we're not telling them they need to be. Because I often say, how are people supposed to know that you need help? you don't reach out and say, hey, I need help. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:11:46 But it's also we judge other people's actions by what they do, and we judge ours by what we think. Yep. And it's not fair toward other people. No. Like, we're like, oh, they didn't do this. They didn't do it. But really, there's a lot of times where we just thought about something,
Starting point is 02:11:59 and we didn't do it either, and we give ourselves the plus sign because we're like, well, I thought about it. How's what they're supposed to know you thought about it? Right. Do you mean, what was I teasing here? Ed Shearing. No.
Starting point is 02:12:10 I was teasing the actor. Wait, what you were? Yes, an actor that said, don't look me in the eyes. Okay. Was that, we teasing that on the air or off the air? On the air. We talk about so many stories off the air. Then I'm like, you can watch this show.
Starting point is 02:12:25 And we're just talking about stuff. It's like we're doing a show when the show's not even on sometimes. Tom Cruise has required top gun people to fly fighter jets. Do you guys see that one? He said, listen, if you're going to fly and act like you're flying a fighter jet and top gun, Maverick, that you need to be a fighter jet flyer. Did he? Oh, wow.
Starting point is 02:12:42 Did he do that? So he can fly a fighter jet? Well, the actors playing the pilots had to be tested to see if they could withstand the incredible amount of G-force that flying such high-powered military aircraft entails. Known for his indomitable desire for putting everything he has into films,
Starting point is 02:12:59 Top Gun Maverick appears to take that characteristic and literally raise it to the next level. It talks about that. If you're flying in the movie, you're flying in real life. Wow. I mean, I wonder if any of them threw up. What does your husband say about how hardcore these jazz are. Oh, his dad was a fighter pilot. And that's what he wanted to do. It's not easy. And it's definitely
Starting point is 02:13:19 a lot of force on your body. I don't know. When my father-in-law and my husband talk about that and they talk about the G-force and all the things that are happening to you and your body and how it's actually happening, it's kind of crazy. I mean, it's intense. Like, I don't know how they do it. But I mean, I think it, you know, it's hard. That's where, ah, have I ever shared how my husband? That's what he wanted to do, but he didn't make it. He didn't make it as a fighter because he's a pilot. Yeah, something happened with his test. Like, and he didn't, yeah, it was like,
Starting point is 02:13:48 and then he ended up going another route, which I think was amazing for his career. And he was an awesome pilot in the Air Force and even was doing special forces stuff, which I, you know, I don't know that he would have done if he had gone the fighter pilot route and met some amazing people and got to do cool things. But yeah, it's intense.
Starting point is 02:14:03 He was telling me we were flying that part of the reason you're so exhausted when you get off an airplane is because what you don't feel is it shakes the whole time. because it's so minor but if you're on a plane for one, two, three, four. I mean, I flew from Seattle, Atlanta this week, five hours, the whole time your body's just shaking
Starting point is 02:14:18 because you're exhausted because your body's just going through for five hours. Oh, yeah. And then we were also in a storm flying in a storm and he's like, no problem. I know, he does not get bothered by storms
Starting point is 02:14:28 and I'm just like, this is how you navigated. And I was like, if the plane went down, would you run up and take over and save us? It's like, I'm not going to have to do that. I guess you would try. Yeah, I'd be, awesome. That'd be awesome. All right. Listen, thank you. You can watch. We do the post show

But for two couples that are pregnant. So two babies coming, but I was only invited for one of the couples. Like I don't really know the other couple.
Starting point is 02:19:11 So then there's a predicament of do I get the other couple a gift because I'm going. Oh, that's interesting. Right. I mean, I kind of know the other couple. Can you say who it is? Do I know them? Yeah. Well, Caroline Hobby.
Starting point is 02:19:24 Caroline and Michael. Okay. So she's pregnant. And that's how I got invited because she's my friend. Caroline Hobby, who does the Get Real podcast, fantastic podcast. Yeah. And then Michael Hobby, who is the lead singer for a thousand horses. Yes.
Starting point is 02:19:36 Okay. Look at you with your cool baby shower. So then I guess it's a joint shower with Taylor Young, who is Brett Young's wife. And now I know Brett a little bit. From the show. But I don't know, honestly, if I've ever met Taylor. I know that if it was just them having the shower, like, I wouldn't be invited, right? So, but I mean, I kind of know them.
Starting point is 02:19:56 So, I mean, at the end of the day, getting them a gift. But a couple of our other friends that were invited, like, we're texting. They're like, hey, do we get both people a gift? Or because we wouldn't be invited otherwise. and so the consensus was we get everybody a gift. Okay, let's go around the room. That's an interesting thing. By the way, maybe the coolest baby shower ever.
Starting point is 02:20:14 Right? Maybe just drop a name. Man. He's like, you know, maybe you heard of them. Brett Young. In case you didn't know. Oh, look at you. Okay.
Starting point is 02:20:25 Do you have to get both people a gift? Lunchbox. No. If you're not invited to both people shower, I mean, you're invited by one person. You get that one person a gift. The other woman, she is not expecting a gift from you because she's going to open it and be like, who is this from?
Starting point is 02:20:40 Yeah, she's probably not. Everything's online, though. With the EVEI, it came with the links to their registry, which I was like, this is so easy. This is making the life so convenient. Like, getting an invitation in the mail is so cute and all, but also having it on the computer and you click the links. And then for Caroline's registry,
Starting point is 02:20:57 and I thought this was genius for this particular baby shower, the only thing, if you even want to get a gift, they're saying if you just want to make a donation towards their night nurse fund, I was like, this is so smart. Like, they're going to bring it in and be able to, I was like, why didn't I think of this when we had a shower? We're just going to have a babysitting fund and you just go ahead and throw your money right here. And then you have this stockpile of money. So, yeah, so I made a donation to Carolines.
Starting point is 02:21:23 And then I'm going to say yes to. If you have to ever ask yourself, should I? Yeah. And then if you can, if you can check both those boxes, you should. Yeah, right. You're going to a party. You can. and I should.
Starting point is 02:21:38 And you should. So I will. So you will. But lunchbox says no. I say yes. I'm a big, if you're on the line on giving, you should always give. Yeah. If you can afford it and you can always do.
Starting point is 02:21:50 Yeah. Morgan number two, what do you think about this? I think she should. Even if it's just something small for the other person, maybe like your gift for your one friend is like maybe a bigger thing. But you get like a onesie or something for the baby. Something super small. Maybe get her like an autographed Amy Brown.
Starting point is 02:22:06 on 4 Thanks podcast picture. What? That would be so awkward. That would be cool. No. No. There's some cute little onesies on her registry, so that's probably what I'll just get like a cute little outfit or something. Man, can you imagine the star power that's going to be at this baby shower? Al Dean's probably going to be there.
Starting point is 02:22:20 Wow. Is George Strait coming? Yeah, you're going to snap some paparazzi picks for sure. Absolutely, you can sell that to People Magazine. No. It's going to be there. Okay. They don't need me to sell their stuff to People Magazine.
Starting point is 02:22:31 They already got it. Oh, hey, give me the address and I'll sit in the bushes. No. All right. Let us know tomorrow how it goes. It is crazy how many people are pregnant these days. The Bobby Bones Show. You ever take bubble bats or hot bats?
Starting point is 02:22:45 Yes. How often? I mean, not as often as I used to be able to because the only baths up in our house is upstairs and it's the kids' bathroom and that's just not the same as it used to be now that we've got kids. Kids stuff everywhere. But I would say I used to be able to do it a couple nights a week. Oh, really? At bedtime.
Starting point is 02:23:02 And it was so relaxing and awesome. one of my favorite things to do. And now I get up there once every three months. Oh, wow. Like to change. Yeah. I love a bubble bath. And I have all my stuff.
Starting point is 02:23:14 I got my bath beads or I got my, depending on my legs. Oh, is that funny? Bath beads? I got all kinds of stuff. Really? Do you do bath bombs? I have that. My kids love bath bombs.
Starting point is 02:23:24 Yeah, Eddie, I got like eight different things depending on the mood I'm in. And the smell, like candles. No, that's cool. I got a whole thing. I do it about myself, too. And there's never any romance. I guess I'm romantic with myself. Okay.
Starting point is 02:23:35 Sometimes if I'm sore, I'll take a different kind of bath. I pour on the Epsons salt. Oh, right, right. It's very important. And then I get out, yeah, and I get out, like, my skin's all soft. Mm-hmm. But I'm reading the story about bubble baths and how an evening bath actually helps you sleep better. I don't find that that's true because my heart rate, it gets in hot, my heart rate does this.
Starting point is 02:23:55 Oh, I still find it very relaxing. Even though my heart rate does go up, I know exactly what you're talking about. I still feel so relaxed when I get out. And maybe it does, but it says, uh, the, uh, the, The hot bath triggers the body's internal clock and I think it's time for sleep. So maybe I should do another one tonight. Maybe we should combine all eight things.
Starting point is 02:24:12 You just have the ultimate bath. If we ever move, which I don't even want to move, but if we do... You'll move. Your house is not safe. Okay, thank you. Your neighborhood's not safe. There was a guy shooting in cars in your neighborhood yesterday. I cannot move.
Starting point is 02:24:25 I have too much going. I cannot move. Plus, like, our garage and our garage apartment, like everything we've invested in this house, I cannot move. Unless you can guarantee me, we're going to get our money back and then some, we're not moving for a long time.
Starting point is 02:24:36 But I tell you what, if we do move, I'm getting a bathtub in my bathroom. And it's going to be big, I think. Good for you. But I'm not moving. There was a guy shooting at cars in Amy's name. You said that. Is that real? Yeah, out of the street.
Starting point is 02:24:50 No, it's for real real. He was shooting at cars. And when Bobby said the intersection of where it was happening, I was like, interesting. Yeah, right by our house. Yeah. Oh, gosh. Yeah, like, who knew? Who knew?
Starting point is 02:25:00 But he's been arrested. He's been apprehended. He's in jail. It's only something to her house. Hey, we're safe. Absolutely. They've got all the bad guys from your neighborhood. All right, let's see what's going on today.
Starting point is 02:25:09 By the way, thank you for hanging out. I got to tell you about my day today. I was supposed to be in California today. I was going to do a TV panel. Oh. And the panel ended up not happening. So I looked at my calendar. Like every two months or so, I have a day without a dot.
