The Bobby Bones Post Show pre-show.
Why don't I start with this?
And I almost don't want to hear the clip of you and Caitlin.
Because I don't think I'm going to listen.
Why? She did a great job.
I'm sure she did, and that's why I don't want to listen.
Oh.
I don't listen back to me.
She had a wonderful time on your podcast, and it's like, I don't want to pick it apart.
Or not for personal reasons, but I've been like, well, if you didn't smack your lip.
I just don't want to have to deal with that.
Oh, she didn't do any of that.
You don't think so?
No, I think she did a great job.
I don't even know what you have a clip, because I don't know what you're going to play.
I don't either.
Here we go.
Mike D. just handed me the sheet.
On four things with Amy Brown today.
my fiance, Caitlin, is on.
They do all four things together.
Caitlin shares the things she learned from therapy,
TV show recommendations, top four recipes,
and share the four things she's thankful for right now.
And then I have a 32 second clip,
I'm told of the first thing she's thankful for.
Okay, of course this is the clip.
I didn't pick the clip.
Okay.
Why? What's in us?
Like, what does she do?
This is the one time Bobby was mentioned with the podcast.
I didn't pick the clip.
I had no idea.
Okay.
Hit it.
Please play the clip.
All right, my first thing I'm thankful for, I'm going to have to say my fiance, of course, very
thankful for him. We were actually talking, this is going to get a little bit sappy, but we were talking
last night, and he was saying, but I totally 100% feel the same way, that it just feels like
we were each other's missing puzzle piece. So he, you know, we just like had all these things
in our lives and like not all of them really made sense, like all our weird quirks or whatever.
And then we met each other and it was like, it just fits so well.
I really wish I had someone to do TikTok video.
Yes, exactly.
Hey, see, it's pretty good.
Yeah.
I didn't know that that was a clip.
But I'm happy it was.
I'm not going to act like I wasn't happy it was.
So your puzzle was done except that one piece.
Oh, he says it's not done.
I say this is, no, I'm one piece, right?
This is the analogy I made.
I'm one piece of the puzzle.
And you know how puzzles all, like, got weird holes in a thing's poking out?
And you have to have the exact right piece to continue on to build a puzzle.
And I was like, you're that next piece.
Like we're just two pieces now. We got a puzzle to build all around us, but I couldn't move on until I got this puzzle.
Oh, that's good. I didn't even think much about it when I said that. It wasn't like I was having some deep moment.
Did you get that from the notebook? No, I got that from my brain. I didn't think it was that big, but hey, I'm on to something.
That's good. See, I just need someone to travel around when I say stuff like that, write it down.
You'd be like, you know what? You should say this again. Or, which probably happens more often than not. When I say something, they go, don't ever say that again.
Well, you said it and then Caitlin repeated it on the podcast.
And I had no idea because it was, I was just talking.
I was just like, you know what I kind of feel like, I think maybe we're at dinner or something.
It for sure was a no phone time when I said that.
Because most of my responses to stuff when it's phone time is like, uh-huh,
back on, uh-huh, yeah, uh-huh.
Does she ask you though?
Like, what did I just say?
Uh-huh.
She sure does.
And I know about 60% of the time.
But we do.
I do a better job at connecting than I did a year again.
and I will hopefully do a better job a year from now than I'm doing now.
I'm not perfect.
I'm far from it when it comes to that.
I love my phone.
I think my phone makes me a better person.
I think social media makes me a better person in general.
Most people don't.
I do.
I only crack occasionally whenever I just get overrun by, it's not even negativity.
I don't like what people are mean to Caitlin because they are absolutely downright hateful to her.
Do you guys talk about that?
We talk about that in the what has she learned from therapy.
And I loved what she had to say about how she handles.
Like, she brought up the example of gold digger.
That's something that people say all the time.
I'm so honored.
I'm tell you.
I'm so honored to be the gold.
Isn't that the greatest that people just think that?
Yeah, man, that's cool.
Because she's not.
She wants me to work less and doesn't care.
However, the first time someone said that, I was like,
thank you.
I am gold.
I can't believe it.
And she's digging me.
She's digging.
She's digging.
me from Mount Pine, Arkansas, and people to consider you gold that someone's going to dig.
And she was hurting.
It made her sad.
She was like, I can't believe people think this.
And I was torn because I was sad for her.
But the first time I heard that, I was like, oh, they like me.
They really like me.
But yes, that is very hurtful.
Well, she was sharing how with any of us, whatever labels we've been given that are not true,
and we know they're not, like how to combat that.
start to tell yourself what is true about you, not just to deny like, oh, that's not true.
I'm not a gold digger and leaving it at that, but taking it to the next level.
And then her recognizing that, you know, she's got a great job.
She's really smart.
She just got her master's degree.
She's not with you for your accomplishments and your money.
Like so she then you, so for anybody, gold digger is just an example.
But if you, if someone on social media or a coworker or somebody else is like telling, putting
a label on you,
that you know not to be true, you can affirm yourself with that by telling yourself over and over
what is true about you? And you're the one that knows you the best.
Where she gets me sometimes, because the other day I worked from me opening my eyes, buttcracked morning,
till we were going to bed to have my laptop open. It was a real 15 or 16 hour solid nonstop day,
which I try not to do anymore because I do have someone else in my life that I have to make time for.
She talked about this? I don't think so. And there are some days that are pretty wild. And I'm
I'm wired that way at this point.
I've been hustling my whole life.
You know,
we did an interview with Kenny Chesney,
which I think airs in like a week or something,
and I asked Kenny,
I was like, hey, what's up with all these people?
And because he was talking about a group he was with.
And I said, why do you think that they're all,
they have that, whatever that innate trait is?
And he goes, well, we come from nothing.
So you either burn out, you know, killing yourself for good
or you burn out by burning out for bad.
And I just feel like the way I grew up, we had nothing.
I had to hustle for every single thing.
So it's hard to just go, all right, remove all the hustle.
That'll never be gone for me because it's just who I am.
But where she got me was the other day, I was working all day.
And she was like, hey, eventually you got to start working.
I was like, don't you make sure I can provide a good life for like us when we have kids?
And she was like, you know what?
I'm going to tell you what.
If I was like the internet said, and I was a gold digger, I'd say, yeah, keep working.
She goes, I don't want you to work.
Hang out.
Who cares?
Relax.
She doesn't care about that.
And so she does hit me sometimes like, you wish I was a gold digger.
Because I'd be like, hey, you go away and work all you want.
She got you on that.
Yeah.
She needs to keep being wonderful.
No, but she does.
It's difficult for me.
We're both, it's a struggle for both of us to understand where the other person's coming from in that way.
Because I have only done, to her family is the absolute one.
100% most important thing and those relationships because that's what she grew up.
She has a very strong family.
Her nucleus is wonderful.
I do not, and I did not.
So I don't know that life.
And so we're in that way, even though we are from basically the same place, she grew up three hours from where I did, which is weird because we both had to move away to get back to meet.
But we're so different in that way.
Like her priorities are because of how she grew up and mine are because of how I grew up.
and now we're trying to meet in the middle.
And there are, it gets a little wonky sometimes
when I'm 16 hours into a work bender,
is what I call them.
And she's like, hey, stop.
And I'm like, but I got to get all this done.
She was like, you've been to your radio studio.
You did three podcasts today.
You done four interviews.
You wrote this article for this.
You're sitting here now working on tomorrow's show.
She's like, what?
Are you even going to eat?
And I was like, I did.
I order food and forgot to tell you.
She's like, what?
But she's on the podcast.
She is, yeah.
I'm going to tell you, speaking of food, we cooked tacos a couple of nights ago.
That's what I passed something along.
This Uncle Ben's zesty beans, you put it in a bag.
It's in a bag.
And you, like, the top of it, you just slightly unzip.
It costs like $2.
You unzip it, and you put in the microwave, and that's it.
90 seconds, boom.
Go ahead and tear the whole thing off.
90 more seconds, boom.
They're so zesty.
I'll say it.
It's in a red bag.
We got at the grocery store.
I didn't think it would be that good because it was just in a bag in a microwave.
They were amazing.
Amazing beans. Uncle Ben's zesty beans that are in a plastic bag.
A microwaveable bag.
Yeah.
I didn't know Uncle Ben's made beans.
And they're zesty.
Wow.
And they're called zesty.
Look for those.
Yeah, because he makes rice.
Yeah, this is not a commercial.
Oh, there it is.
Uncle Ben's zesty Mexican-style beans.
Black beans with corn and peppers.
Microwave for 90 seconds.
I guess it's kind of a bluer green pack with red on it.
And you just add those to any taco makes it fantastic.
$1.98.
Item on the side.
Oh.
Oh, Eddie, you came up in the podcast.
too. I did? Yeah, we talked about your fajitas and your margaritas on fancy cooking.
Yes. We are responsible for a lot of people drinking margaritas these days, so we're happy about that.
Did you do you get you there? Yeah, no, I drink.
Hey, so about that water, though, do you like those bottles?
The bottle is a toy story four bottle, and the bottle's cute. The thing about Evian water is I don't like Evian water.
Really? It tastes too fancy. It does taste fancy.
I like, I wish they had a bottle of water to call it sink.
Tap.
Tap water.
Like, just straight from the sink.
Unfiltered.
And they could filter it, but I want it to taste like home.
Like from the hope for the water hose.
Well, that's what we have.
Hose.
Every one tastes a little too.
It's fine.
I like water.
It's from the Alps, dude, of course.
It tastes like that, though.
All the way from the Alps.
If I got to, if I got to, if I got to pick.
I got to pick it wouldn't be my favorite kind of water.
Yeah, well, I mean, I just, I saw the bottle.
Well, because it reminds me of, like, my kids, they drink this, like, yogurt out of a bottle like that.
So at first, I thought you were drinking yogurt, but no, you're like, it's water.
And apparently, Steve bought that as a joke, but you haven't mentioned it once.
No.
So I think you like the Woody on there.
I come in, and the fact that they have a water ready for me, which has been such a struggle to even have waters up here.
I'm just so grateful.
I don't make fun of it.
I'm like, heck, yeah, I'll take a bottle.
You just, you're drinking out of a Woody and like.
Who cares?
And you haven't seen.
anything about it. It can be a teddy bear. It can be a
wiener. It can be Mars. I don't
care what the shape is. If there's water
because I walk in and I get thirsty. You do not want to drink
out of a wiener. No, you won't.
I will. I will. Okay.
I'll drink out of a wiener bottle with a wiener straw.
Like one of those, it'll be full bachelor.
It'll be full bachelorette party up in here.
Challenge accepted.
Okay.
Speaking of drinking, a drunk driver
nine times over the limit
is thought to have given the highest reading ever.
What was the, what was it?
And later on in the show, we talk about Bruce Springsteen and how he got a DWI, but he wasn't even drunk.
Didn't even hit the limit.
It got dropped, but you'll hear about that later on in this show.
But a drunk driver in Oregon is thought to have the highest ever blood alcohol reading hitting.
By the way, 0.08 is the legal limit.
Right.
He hit 0.77.
Oh.
I'm surprised he's not dead.
0.08 is drunk.
He hit 0.77.
That's crazy.
Point 0.7.
0.7.
Eight.
Don't forget the O.
Seven.
Seven.
Are we sure?
The thing is,
because the guy crashed
into a concrete barrier.
Man, that's a lot.
I just wonder if that test was right.
That almost seems like you should be dead.
Hold on.
Let me search it up.
Did Pat Sejack make fun
of a Will of Fortune contestant's list?
I saw this.
Did he?
And I have a couple things to say about this.
I'll play the clips, right?
Raymond, do you have the clip?
Here you go.
Yeah, I work for a technology company.
We see a technology that benefits
older adults.
adults living in senior living communities.
Yeah, and that's a tough thing, too, because technology and sometimes people are not open to new ideas.
You'd be surprised how open they are.
Yeah, good.
Well, I'm glad.
So that's just a myth.
Yeah, it is.
It is.
I see.
You were married.
Oh.
Then I have a quick clip.
Okay, here's one more clip.
Yeah, it is.
It is.
I see.
You were married.
Oh, God.
Oh, man, Pat.
That seems like...
Here's the thing.
I'm not going to speak in defense of Pat's age at all, but don't take it.
is that, but let me say this.
Pass Aeject's just
freaking making jokes, right?
He messed up, bad joke.
Shouldn't have done that.
Absolutely.
How did the editor not take that out of the freaking...
It's not live?
Pre-taped?
Yes.
Good point.
That's my thing.
It's like, I come and I do this show.
We don't have five hours.
Sometimes I say stupid stuff.
Most times I don't say stupid stuff.
Hope to God, I don't say anything gets me in trouble, right?
Occasionally I do.
But when you're up and I don't have a script.
I have new stories that I read from
and sometimes I'm like, oh, I have a random
thought about this.
And I hope to God I don't mess up at times I have.
But we're doing it live.
We're doing it live.
We do it live.
But when we do it live, there's no going back.
How did the editors of this well of fortune not pull that?
One, Pat Sejack, not a good move.
Shouldn't have done it.
Maybe he didn't think the guy had a lisp and maybe just, I don't know what was going
on in his head.
I just know I've messed up and done dumb things too.
and then two, if I were Pat Say Jack, I'll be like, hey, editor, what's the deal?
I screwed up.
Producer, why did you not catch that?
Not good, though.
Man, I hadn't heard that.
Yeah, I hadn't.
No, that's crazy.
That's not good.
I know, it sucks.
And you would think of an extremely professional broadcaster like Pat Say Jack would have known unless he just didn't know.
Or, I don't know.
I don't want to stick out.
I'm not sticking up for him, but my mind was, how did they not edit that out?
You know, I was watching Wheel of Fortune of the day, and I thought, man,
like this guy for how many how many years have been doing this?
I mean he's been doing for my whole life yeah.
Yeah so like every day that's what he does.
He just watches people spin a wheel and try to guess
a word on a board and like gosh, I mean it seems like cool.
We all know Pat Sejack.
He's famous, but gosh, every day doing that.
1975.
But here's the thing, Eddie, you're not right about that
because they go and tape all those in like a month
and he's got like seven months off.
Oh, really? Yeah.
I thought it was like his nine to fiver.
Like, I'm going to work a greatest gig ever.
Really?
If you want to have a life that's a real life.
Like, you go, like Drew Carey, you go in, you do a few weeks of Will of Fortune, you're set for the next four months.
You get paid and you live your life.
Okay, that's pretty legit.
So it started in 75, but Pat didn't start hosting until the 80s.
And then Chuck Woolery, I think, hosted it for a bit too.
Pat and Vanna.
See who else hosted Will & Forge?
Yeah.
He must have been before.
Chuck Woolery did two and two.
Yeah, love connection.
Love connection?
That was a great show.
Did you meet that guy?
Yeah.
I was in Austin once.
Wow.
Kind of a kooky guy.
Well, I mean, he just seemed plastic to me.
Like, you know, you see him and he almost had the same makeup that he did on TV back in the day.
Like, it just seems not real.
Here's the more you know.
This is the real meaning behind a chance of rain, right?
This is from TikTok, too.
There you go.
Basically, to boil it down, if you stay in one spot all day and there's a 30% chance for rain,
then you have a 30% chance for rain.
If you move around a little bit throughout the day, your chances will go up.
Important to remember, the percentage has nothing to do with how much rain falls.
You could have a 10% chance for rain and still end up with flooding if you get caught under a rogue thunderstorm.
Now, it also doesn't really help that a lot of different meteorologists have different definitions,
but this is the actual technical definition.
Yeah, I'm so confused.
I don't get it.
30% does not mean there's a 30% chance that's going to rain.
It doesn't?
Let me break it down a little bit.
No.
It's based on a formula that multiplies how likely it is to rain.
by how much of the area the rain is going to cover.
So why they do it, like to figure that out,
not for me.
However, just know that 30% chance does not mean
it's actually a 30% chance it's going to rain.
There's some mathematic formula.
Great.
Yeah.
You ever play a Clinton Phil Domer after?
That was it right there.
After that airplane caught on fire,
the engine did, yeah.
Yeah, and they're looking outside,
they're like, are our airplanes on fire?
Remember that?
Yeah.
Well, now the FAA has ordered inspections of planes with the engine and emergency landing.
I was reading this story about this.
I freak out.
I don't like flying.
I fly.
I flown even this year, 70, 80 times.
If we had a bump.
This year?
Oh, well, in the last year.
I'll say in the last year.
Good point.
In the last year.
The FAA is ordering immediate inspections on plants with the same engines.
The agency says that.
because I think the whole thing is
it's some sort of thermo inspection
that can detect if a fan blade
and the engine is cracked
and I'm going,
why were we already doing this?
Why are we not already inspecting
if the blade is cracked?
Why does it take a plane catching on fire
to go, you know, we should look
to see if any blades cracked in there?
I just feel like I think
my airplanes are better taken care of
or inspected than I do.
I stopped thinking that
when I watched one of those like
air disaster shows.
I don't like those.
And they talk about how
they just have a paper checklist.
And I'm like, you just have an old piece of paper
when you do a checklist.
And it takes like five minutes to do the checklist.
That's when I realize.
I can't hear you.
I realize I'm like, it's not very safe, I don't think.
If you're a friend's fan, this may ruin your life.
Jennifer Anderson's vocal tick
is exposed by a TikTok user,
leaving viewers in shock after the bizarre habit.
Okay, listen to this.
Jennifer Aniston has this sort of vocal
tick that she does at the beginning of every single sentence that she starts on any show that
she's in. It's very specific and it's very hard to unsee once you notice it.
So apparently she does a little thing before she starts talking almost all the time.
That sounds familiar. I've heard that a lot of times.
I thought that was just part of what she was saying. Like, this is weird.
You know? Yeah, but now I'm going to have to see if I notice her doing it.
every single time.
You know, my son started watching friends, and he didn't get it.
And I'm like, good.
You shouldn't get it.
These guys are professionals.
Like, you're in junior, middle school.
I do want to bring up the Lady Gaga thing.
Lunchbox, as the show was happening, mention this.
Tell that story lunch.
Lady Gaga's dog walker was out walking her three French bulldogs
when dog nappers approached, shot him four times in the chest,
and stole two of the dogs.
One dog ran off and was rescued.
so they are looking for Koji and Gustavo the dogs.
They're French Bulldogs.
$500,000 reward.
The dog walker was taken to the hospital in grave condition.
I think the dog walker, though, now is okay-ish.
Mike, did you read that?
You don't see that?
Maybe I thought it said great condition.
And it was grave.
That also could happen.
Sometimes I just give up on reading words.
I just feel like I got enough of this story.
Yeah, he said he was laying on the sidewalk clinging to one of the dogs.
So is this like a random dog napping or they know it's Lady Gaga's.
Oh, for sure they had to know it was Lady Gaga's, right?
If you're going to shoot someone over dogs.
Yeah, I've never heard of that.
Lady Gaga's Dog Walker has been hospitalized.
TMZ has the latest story going on right now.
Gaga's offering half a million dollars for return of the dogs.
No questions asked.
Hey, she might not ask questions questions, but you know the cops are going to ask a lot of freaking questions.
Oh, there's questions asked.
And they got shot four times.
Yeah.
She may not ask questions about the dogs, but they're going to ask questions about the gun, who shot them.
Keep scrolling down on this, Mike.
Their dog.
Gaga's been in Rome.
Was it in Rome that's happened?
Or was it in America?
I thought it was in...
It says she's been in Rome shooting a movie.
Yeah, it says...
K-A-B-C is the one that has the video that I'm looking at.
Yeah, no, in Hollywood.
So she's in another country and this happens.
Wow.
That sucks.
Law enforcement does not know if the target was Lady Gaga's dog.
Specifically, French bulldogs are in demand and expensive,
so our sources say it's possible that the gunmen did not know.
Oh, man.
And why do you not beat him up with a crowbar then?
Right.
Like, why shoot?
Yeah.
I mean, listen, you may get $20,000 a dog.
Ooh, I doubt that ain't even that much.
But if you know the Lady Gaga's, I bet you get even more.
I don't know.
Probably impaired in some way.
Who?
The shooter.
Oh, I wouldn't think they were impaired at all.
Really?
Yeah, no, I think they had a plan.
Oh, I would think.
Carried it out.
I don't think they were drunk.
Like, let's go.
I'm not saying.
drunk, but like, well, okay, I don't know. It's just a, I do know. My hypothesis, you don't know,
but like drugs, like why else, like they can't be high. No, no, you're not going to steal these
dogs. You have an underground market that you're targeting these dogs that it's a sophisticated
operation. This doesn't seem that sophisticated. This ain't just some random Joe Schmoe finding a dog
and back, I'm going to kidnap that dog because you wouldn't be able to do anything with it.
Oh, this is a someone knowing when Lady Gaga's dogs, we're going to walk their dogs,
when and where and getting them out in and out as fast as possible.
Okay, I guess they're just being fast as possible.
Okay, ignore me.
They probably weren't on any drugs.
No, I still believe I could be right.
We already pulled a whole in your hypothesis.
I think it's messy to shoot someone
for these dogs. Like if you're sophisticated,
you try not to... Well, he may have fought back.
I mean, that...
I don't know.
That's what it's like to be in a jury, huh?
Eddie, who's the idea? I don't know.
I'm in the salary right now.
But Eddie, which way would lean?
I have no idea.
Oh, come on.
Do you think it was some random news?
I don't know.
I don't think it's random, but.
I don't think you get drunk or high, though, when you go shoot someone for expensive dogs.
Yeah, you're going to steal their money.
You're not going to steal their dog.
Yeah, I don't think you get drunk or high when you go try to rob a famous painting from...
I know, but you put, say you put Charlie in charge of getting the dog.
It's Charlie, and he's like, oh, that's my first kid.
I'm so nervous.
I better...
The Amy's got like a level three of this story.
I mean, that's possible, though.
I smoke some crack roll picks.
I have the nerves to do this.
And then Charlie shows up with the dogs.
And he's like, hey, guys, I don't know what happened, but I shot the guy.
They're like, Charlie shot the guy.
I can't believe.
God, you idiot.
You're not supposed to shoot the people, you know?
I mean, that's possible, guys.
I mean, messy.
Somebody get rid of Charlie.
Why did he name Charlie?
And he's a crack addict.
Well, Charlie and crack go to go to me.
Well, I don't know.
But Charlie's now probably going to end up dead in a river somewhere because he botched the job.
All right.
I think that's it.
It could happen.
Is there anything I want to, don't forget tomorrow, Pimmajoy, 9 Eastern, 8 Central, 7 Mountain, 6th,
it goes up.
I'm just looking at my notes here.
A guy in Florida attack...
I don't need the story, Mike.
I'm just going to read a couple headlines here.
This has been on my list for two days,
and I haven't read it
because it hasn't been an appropriate time.
But I do want to mark it off my list.
Okay, here you go.
Give me your theory after this one, Amy.
Okay, no problem.
Oh, good.
A guy in Florida attacked a man
his wife was having an affair with
and cut off part of the man's gin to tell you with scissors.
He's scheduled to plead guilty
to multiple felony charges tomorrow.
His name's Char.
I mean, I would say he was probably, it's double.
Like he was so angry and hurt and just acting out of rage,
but also was probably impaired.
Huh.
So everyone's impaired.
On crack.
Everyone's on crack.
Everyone goes and gets higher drunk before they get to do a crime.
No, I think he probably found out his wife was doing this, and then he drank a little too much.
And then when did?
Where's the scissors?
I'm angry.
I need two things.
I need my crack.
in my scissors. No, I don't think he was crack.
He was alcohol.
Okay. I can tell.
You had candied bacon yesterday?
Yeah. First Watch brought us breakfast, and we all had candyed bacon, including Eddie, and I was
so excited to see him eat candied bacon because I was like, hallelujah. He's off the
Matthew McConaughey diet, and he's enjoying bacon.
I mean, I'm weaning.
No.
I'm weaning. Guys, a slice of bacon is like, it's nothing.
But it's not two eggs. It's a gateway meat.
It's a gateway to, and I'm going to be Charlie.
But I was proud of you.
I was glad to see.
When I thought about it later, I was like, oh,
few, thankfully, Eddie's done with the crazy.
But he did get mad at us when we pointed out he was eating bacon.
You know what's really annoying when you try to start a diet
and you don't get support with from your friends is that they become diet police.
And I'm talking about lunchbox.
No, no.
He just becomes like, oh, somebody's eating bacon.
Somebody called Matthew McConaughey.
It's like so annoying.
You're going to get out of here and boast about how you're on this.
this diet and you're being so strict and disciplined.
It's three months. I'm going to call you out when you're not doing it. If you're not doing it,
say, hey, I'm not doing it so I can eat this. You're trying to still put on this front.
You're doing this diet. So I was like, hey, you're eating right. And you're like, do you understand
how calories work? And I'm like, well, I don't think Matthew McConaughey said, well, just do whatever
calories you want. It was two eggs. So I was just pointing out you were not doing the diet.
She was just pointing out. She's proud of you for not doing the diet. Thank you.
Yeah, I'd rather you not do the diet. So first watch was good, huh?
It was really good.
Goodness.
They brought all of our favorite, because we did that segment not too long ago.
We were like, what's your favorite breakfast food?
Did they bring me stuff?
Yes, they brought everybody their favorite thing.
What was yours?
Waffles, Bose?
No, it was biscuits and gravy.
They brought you biscuits and gravy.
I got Wivo Serencheros, then Lunchbox had a waffle.
That had to leave.
Yeah, and I had some toast with crab on it, and then I had some sausage, then I had some bacon.
Ramundo got his avocado toast.
Yeah, Lunchbox is eating everything.
everybody's.
I mean, free food, what are you going to do?
You just leave it sitting there?
Amen.
When today, he was like,
they bring breakfast again.
But they drove down from Missouri.
Missouri.
Yeah, what part?
Springfield and St. Louis.
Nice.
And they kept the food warm the whole way.
Coincidentally.
You know why they sat on it, I heard.
That was awesome.
I had just been to one of their first watch locations
and no idea in St. Louis two weekends ago.
Small world.
We're done, friends.
Thank you.
Namaste.
Oh.
Yeah.
I can't wait to get the vaccine
because I'm going to go back to you.
I'm starting to plan out
all the things I'm going to do
my head when I get the vaccine.
How many of those?
You're really going to do all those things?
You just think about it because you haven't...
Mostly think about it.
Okay.
What are you going to do?
I'm going to go to concert every night.
I'm going to go to yoga.
I'm going to go back to the box.
I'm going to do...
Every Wednesday, I would go stand on the corner
and that's people spit in my mouth on Broadway.
Oh, that's a cool game, man.
I go back to doing that.
Good.
Eat a hawker for a dollar.
That's what I do.
I'm done. All right. Thank you all. Here is Today Show.

Hey guys, welcome to Thursday show.
You know, yesterday we're talking about this guy.
He went into a casino, won some money.
They followed him up to his room.
They busted in with a gun, stole, shot him in the stomach.
okay, but a lot of people
started messaging me and even calling the show.
And here is Christy in Ashland, Ohio.
Hey, Christy, what's your robbery story?
Hey, so a few years ago, my parents went to a restaurant with
my dad's brothers and their wives, and these guys came in with
ski masks and shotguns and shot a hole in the ceiling of the restaurant
and demanded everybody's jewelry and wallet.
And my dad slipped his wedding ring into his mouth and actually saved his
original wedding ring, but my mom lost hers and wallets and everything. It was crazy.
That's quick thinking. Yeah. To put it into your mouth. You know what? You could probably even
swallow it if you had to because it's not going to live in there. It's going to come out. Yeah. It probably
hurt too swallow. I'm going to tell you, I take these fiber pills that feel like I'm swallowing
an engagement ring. I have to take two of them and they're big and they're chalky. And they're like
but you don't drink water with those. You just swallow them. With these I do, it helps. But I can
swallow any pill without water. That's crazy. It's not a trick.
It's not like a parlor trick.
No, it is.
I've just never been, I've just never had to,
there have been times I needed to take pills
and I have water rounds, I just swallowed the pill.
Hey, so your mom lost her ring,
but your dad didn't.
And does he still have that ring?
He does. He still has that ring today.
And my mom still regrets not being able to think of that,
but I'm like, who else would have thought of that?
I know.
When somebody's running in and shooting, boom, into the air,
you're just thinking, how do I not die?
Or what is happening?
Yeah, hey, thank you for that story, Christy.
I appreciate that call.
No problem.
Have a great day, guys.
All right, see you later.
I have a question for you.
Yeah.
Because Caitlin and I went to get our wedding bands.
And that was when we picked out together.
Engagement ring I picked out all by myself.
You helped me once I picked it out.
But I mean, I went and did that.
It wasn't her going with me.
Yeah.
We picked out our wedding bands together.
They should be coming in soon.
Is it okay if I wear my wedding band around my neck before the wedding?
I have never heard of that.
Exactly.
So I don't know that it's what, how does, I would, I just need to ask how Caitlin feels about it.
That's the most important thing.
Well, let's say she was undecided.
Mm-hmm.
I would lean towards, I, don't do it.
Why?
Well, fine, do it.
No, I'm asking, all I'm asking is why.
Because I don't want to hurt your feelings by saying.
Go ahead.
But then also, when I think about it, it's not that big of a deal, so go ahead and do it.
But also, I just think it's, since I'm not used to it, it seems weird to me and not necessary.
like why? Like is it so it's close to your heart and so you can just...
Oh yeah, that's it. That's your excuse. Yeah.
So you have it on and someone ask you, what's that around your neck? You're like, well, I'm getting married soon. So I just want to keep it with me at all times. Like, is that why?
Yeah, and also I want to keep it in my sight so no one steals it. So what is she supposed to do with her wedding band?
Not wear it. She goes, well, if you're going to wear it on your neck, I wear it on my other hand.
That made me nervous because it might be designed to like be stacked and stay in place.
How do you feel about Eddie? Can I wear that ring around my neck?
No, I think you're taking an unnecessary risk.
You could lose it.
You could, something can happen to it.
That's going to be your symbol of your wedding.
But he's going to get on my finger.
Yeah, that's the day of the wedding.
Yeah, he's saying if you lose it around your neck, then you lost your...
I could lose anything.
Unnecessary risk.
Don't do it.
Raymond, you just got married.
Would you have worn it around your neck if you'd have thought about it?
That's a great idea.
Why did you not tell me that a year ago?
I wasn't getting married a year ago.
So maybe it is a good idea.
So you could start a new thing for engaged men.
wear your wedding band as a necklace.
I like it. I might do it. We'll see.
It's actually not a bad idea.
See, now you're all coming around.
You know, people that have come up with great ideas
to do history, they've always been mocked at first.
It's true. And then everybody comes around.
Everybody's going to be wearing the rings.
But like the woman has an engagement band or whatever.
Now you get to show off. That's kind of a good idea, dude.
That's my engagement band.
Yeah.
Yeah. Thank you. Thank you, Eddie. It's a good idea.
All right.
Eddie said that scoop. There it is commercial.
Kids love that?
It's like a Geico commercial or something.
Yeah.
I think it's Tag Team, the old hip hop band.
So they're doing like, whoop, there it is.
But they're serving ice cream.
So they're saying, scoop, there it is.
Oh, is that what the commercial is?
Yeah.
Geico?
It's Geico.
I have no idea how they connected that or why they're using Tag Team, but they're in it.
Here's the commercial.
They look over and it's them singing that in their kitchen.
Yes.
So your kids like that song?
Okay, so my kids love that commercial.
And so, but they didn't know it was a real song.
And I'm like, what?
Boys, let me blow you.
your mind and play this. So I played a
whoop, there it is.
Bones, they freaking love it.
Now they want to hear it all the time. They're like, crank
it up, Dad. House party!
And this is playing in my house
24-7 now.
Let me see if I still think it's good.
Yep, still good.
Tuck down and inside out.
Come on, Bose.
I'm like the old dad now who knows how to
do songs from back when he was a day.
That's the way I am too. Like, I play it while I'm
driving and they're just like, Dad, you kind of like,
you're rapid, come on.
Does your 13-year-old and your foster baby, do they get along?
Yeah.
Does he influence, your 13-year-old influence all the kids?
Yeah, which is not a great thing because he is not very motivated to do a lot of things.
You know, he's 13.
He's 13.
He's distracted a lot.
So they kind of use that as an example, like, well, he doesn't have to do that or I want to stay in my room all day.
They're like, no, it's not, he's not going to be your example.
Who is the most A personality of those four kids?
The A personality?
Like, leader, like, follow me, let's do it.
I would say my 7-year-old, junior, junior.
He's the one, like, comes up with all the ideas,
and then everyone's like, oh, I want to do what he's doing.
Wherever he is, that's where we're going to be.
Who likes Scoop, there it is the most?
Or who, whoom, there it is.
I would say my foster son, our older foster son,
he loves Scoop, there it is.
Amy, what song plays most at your house right now?
DJ Snake and Lil John, Turned down for what?
Turned down.
Why?
Well, I guess it's like twofold.
My daughter really likes to dance to it, and her dancing is so good.
But it started because it's one of my son's like happy song.
I mean, it's a song that gets played all the time, even in therapy.
I mean, my kids are adopted, so we do family therapy stuff.
And that's something the therapist even plays for his, like it puts him in a happy place.
That's cool.
For whatever reason.
Before, during or after therapy?
During, sometimes before.
I mean, so turned down for what?
definitely what gets played the most at our house.
The therapist has it on the clapper.
Turned out for one.
It's like 75-year-old man.
Therapy's like, oh, so, oh, yeah, okay, DJ Snake and Lil John, okay.
Your therapist is a 75-year-old guy?
Well, yeah, one of them.
Yeah?
Yeah.
How is that for the kids?
He does not seem that old at all, but...
That's quite the age gap, though, right?
I think, yeah, but he's been doing this, like, working with kids for 40 years.
so he knows exactly what he's doing.
Does he know all DJ Snake songs?
No, not at all.
Here's mine when it was like, okay, what song plays the most?
Play my former, Ramundo.
Do you know who this is? Amy.
Harry Styles?
Who?
No, is it not?
No, no.
That's what I think.
Harry Styles?
Yeah.
That's correct.
Okay.
Caitlin Cook's probably four nights a week.
She's got her whole little playlist of Harry Styles, Beaver, Brooks and Dunn.
Driver's license.
Am I the only one that does not like
driver's license?
I'm not big into it either.
Okay.
It's a fine song.
I got my driver's license last week,
just like we'd always talked about.
It's fine.
Yeah.
I think mostly that story got the hype
and the song is also pretty good.
And so it's like the biggest streaming song
of the last ever.
I know, and I like don't ever want to stream it.
No offense.
Like it's not a beautiful voice.
I just don't, it's like not something.
I'm not, I think actually I was with Caitlin
and our friend Abby once in the car and it came on
and they both were like, turn it up!
And I was like, what?
Do you have that song, right?
The thing about driver's license to it, it's about a girl being upset
and Caitlin's like, I just need a picture that
you really did something wrong to me when I hear this song
so I can totally feel it.
And I'm like, let's stop listen to this song.
But the girl just turned 18,
massive song.
The old high school musical.
Saturday Night Live did a funny sketch I saw on YouTube
where all the guys were at like a, around a pole table,
and that the song gets brought up.
I mean, I don't want to listen to the song.
And then they each slowly start to admit how much they love it.
And then they're all like, and you did, and even.
They're pretty funny.
They're pretty funny.
Let's do Chris Jansen.
Good vibes.
By the way, Chris Jansen's playing the opera this Saturday night.
I'll be hosting it, and we are raising money for Food Bank of America.
So check that out on our Facebook page, Bobby Bone Show, Saturday night.
I'll give you a celebrity catchphrase.

Okay.

Finally, if you smell a la la la la la la la.

If you smell.
Oh.
What the rock.
How you mentioned that one? Come on.
You did win, though.
I'm a big rock fan, but not of his, like, more of his acting, not wrestling.
I like the rock, too, right?
Yeah.
Have you all seen that show?
He's like a young rock.
Young rock.
I have not seen it.
Yeah, I haven't either.
Did you?
Oh.
Just check.
Eddie brings it on the table.
Hey, guys, have you seen this?
No, oh, yeah, me either anyway.

Tell me something good.
A mom was with her kid at Party City when they were checking out
and the two-year-old was talking to the cashier.
Kind of, you know, talking as a two-year-old is not very much.
But the cashier gave the kid a yellow balloon and the kid was so excited.
So the mom goes home, writes on Facebook about how this yellow balloon made her kids' day.
So then the whole community started the Yellow Balloon Challenge.
You don't really get a yellow balloon, but it's just go out and do random acts of kindness,
like shovel someone's driveway, and then you leave a yellow balloon.
Give them, you know, a donation to this charity, Yellow Balloon Challenge,
and you hashtag it, and it's really taken off.
That's pretty cool.
All from somebody working at Party City, which, by the way, is a pretty happy place too.
I'll be honest with you.
All right, there you go.
That's what's all about.
That was Tell Me Something Good.
This story comes to us from New York City.
$189,000 worth of designer bags were stolen from a channel store.
Guys run in.
Chanel.
Chanel store.
And they run in, they grab all the bags, and they leave.
Police have no leads to one of the guys goes on Facebook and says,
man, I got so much designer loot, I can open a small boutique.
Like, oh, let's check this guy out.
Found the bags.
How many guys robbed the store?
Four.
Okay, if I'm the other three, when he gets out of jail,
I'm going to beat him down.
He got us all caught.
I mean, you don't go to a channel store and let it rip.
Get away with it, and then one of your boys sell you out.
But he's always got a flex on Instagram.
All right, there you go.
I'm Lunchbox. That's your Bonehead Story of the Day.

It is time to play elder versus millennial, the oldest, Eddie.
Yep, 41 years old.
Versus the youngest, Morgan number two.
Yep, 27 years old.
Morgan is in the lead three to two.
First one to five wins a series.
Dang.
Up first.
Come on.
He's a dad of four.
We call him the Hispanic who don't panic.
His face is thin.
His skin is brown.
He's now down to 173 pounds.
It is producer Eddie.
His opponent.
She runs our digital.
She has blonde hair and drives a jeep.
Hit her up online unless you're a creep.
It is Morgan number two.
Good one.
Eddie, your questions all are about Morgan's generation.
Come on.
Question number one.
This TV show premiered on Disney Channel in 2003.
about a teenager who can see glimpses of the future.
What's the name of that show?
On the Disney Channel?
We're going to play some of the theme song here.
Oh, great.
Thank you.
Oh, wow.
There you go.
2003.
All right, I'm going to go with the sweet life of Zach and Cody.
That's incorrect.
Morgan?
I watched it.
It's So Raven.
That is correct.
Ah, Raven.
And if you would have been listening to a theme song,
at one point, somebody in the background goes,
go Ray.
I didn't hear that.
Uh-huh.
All right, Morgan with one point.
She stole that one.
Eddie.
Come on.
Shaline Woodley, who is now engaged to Aaron Rogers,
the middle of her?
Yes.
Yeah.
Played a character named Tris, as in Beatrice,
in which movie series, based on the sci-fi novel of the same name.
What was the movie series that Shailene Woodley debuted in?
What's the, can you describe the show again?
A sci-fi novel?
A sci-fi novel, which turned into a movie.
Battlestar Galactica.
incorrect.
Morgan?
I have two of my head
because there's two different book series
but Beatrice, I mean, I think it's divergent.
What was the other one?
You were thinking Hunger Games?
No, Juni B. Jones is, Beatrice is her name.
What are you guys talking about?
It's divergent.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
We always saw that as Junior Barcy's Hunger Games.
Yeah, yeah.
It's still good, though.
It is?
It is.
The movies.
I'm only loyal to Hunger Games.
I tried reading the books, but yeah,
Couldn't get into it, but my kids and I, we watched every single movie in the series.
Pretty good.
Eddie Morgan has stolen two questions from you.
It's not good.
Taylor Swift released her debut self-titled album.
Now you're talking. Let's go.
In 2006.
What was the name of her debut single?
Debut single.
Okay, it could be a love story.
I don't even know that's off the first album.
Or Tim McGraw.
I don't think that was her first one.
That'd be weird to have a first single named after Tim McGraw.
Let's go love story
That is incorrect
Morgan you can steal
I was leaning towards Tim McGraw as well
But there's also tear drops on my guitar
Which is what I think it might be
I'm going tear drops on my guitar
Incorrect
The answer is
When you think to my God
I had that one
You both had it honestly
Okay
Morgan stole two Eddie you got none right
That's correct.
Wow.
All right, Morgan, over to you.
These are questions that Eddie should know.
Who sang the song, Yellow Submarine?
We'll play you a clip of it here.
That's waves actually in the song.
Can you name who's singing that song?
I don't know.
I mean, it sounds like a Beach Boys song.
I've never heard that song in my whole life.
Beach Boys.
The Beach Boys.
That is incorrect.
Eddie, you can steal?
Thank goodness.
That's the Beatles.
The Beatles is correct.
So close.
We're going to stay in music, Morgan, number two.
Come on.
What's the name of the guitar player for Guns and Roses, who is known for wearing a top hat?
Here is a clip, a guitar solo from Sweet Child of Mine.
I mean, I think I played this song on, like, Guitar Hero.
That's about the only connection I have to this song.
But for whatever reason, Axel Rose is coming to my head.
Your answer?
Axel Rose.
For the guitar player of Guns and Roses, Axel Rose's.
Axel Rose, that is incorrect.
Oh.
It is. Eddie, you want to steal?
So close. Yeah, that's slash.
Slash. Axel was the elite singer.
Oops. Oh, I was in the right band, though?
Okay. All right. Well, it's two to two.
Come on. Here we go. Morgan, if you get this right, you win.
Oh. What city
does the movie Rocky take place in?
Oh, oh.
City, right?
What city?
Well, I believe it's in Pennsylvania.
in Philadelphia, I believe.
Now I'm thinking of fresh print.
Oh, is that the same?
I think it's...
I'm pretty sure it's still in Philadelphia.
Yeah.
Is that your answer?
Yeah, that's my answer.
Her answer's Philadelphia.
The answer is Philadelphia.
There she is.
She wins.
Taking a lead of 4 to 2 in the series.
This is not good.
That was the only question
either one of you guys got in the other person's category.
All right, Morgan, nice job.
One more went away and you are the champion.
We drew out of the hat twice.
Somehow, Lunchbox lost both times.
So if our name is drawn to go to space,
he has to go to space.
Right? We're all in.
Yeah.
But now Lunchbox has come to me saying
he'd like to present a draw out of the hat game.
Explain to us what's up, Lunchbox.
So this weekend, guys, it's time.
They're going to have an ice pool at the football stadium to raise money for Special Olympics.
It's time for one of you guys to take the polar plunge.
We have to go there to do it.
Yes.
What are you doing?
Your own bathtub?
What do you mean?
Oh, I don't know.
There seems like a lot of work on a weekend.
But go ahead.
Going to space is just so easy.
I'm just going to walk out my door and I'm going to be in space.
Good point.
Good point.
Point lunchbox.
Hell yeah, I got you there.
It says come and join the hunter.
of brave individuals on Saturday, February 27th, which is this Saturday, and support Special Olympics as they take a chilly dip into the pool at Nissan Stadium Lot R.
With a minimum of $75 in donations, each plunger will receive the official plunge t-shirt and all bragging rights.
So we have put seven names in.
Yes, let's go!
Last name in has to go and do the plunge.
Come up, man, this has to work out in my favor, right?
I get a has to.
I would say the odds are you don't lose this one.
I mean, I understand that, but I thought that was the last time.
Am I on camera?
You're on camera.
Let's go.
Okay, mixing them up.
Who do you want to plunge?
Not me.
I don't care.
I got plans.
Arkansas Keith's going to be in town.
Yeah, you've got a busy weekend, man.
Right.
I love the cause.
It sounds amazing, but honestly.
Everybody agrees to be in?
Yeah.
Let's go.
We do?
Amy, don't say no.
Come on.
Go ahead.
Draw.
Wow.
Okay, the first one that doesn't have to do it is.
Come on me.
Hit me.
Come on. Oh, come on.
This person doesn't have to do it.
Morgan, too.
Oh.
Come on.
Next up, person who doesn't have to do it.
I mean, we've drawn like 52 names
and mine hadn't been drawn in that long.
Oh, come on.
Is that me, Bobby? Give me a smile.
The next person who doesn't have to do it is.
Come on.
Amy.
Yes.
How is it the one with the worst attitude?
I mean, she has the worst attitude.
Sour puss.
I didn't have a bad attitude.
Oh, you didn't?
No, I said, I didn't.
That's an amazing cause.
It is.
Like, we have to go freeze yourself in the middle of the day and get all wet.
Next one who doesn't have to do it.
This is not working out in my own.
Come on life.
Please.
This is the worst bit ever.
Oh my gosh.
He's laughing because it's not me.
The next person who doesn't have to do it is lunchbox.
Yes!
Free!
Free!
Yes, it feels so good.
Nothing was rigged, dude.
Finally!
How many names are left.
One.
Two.
Yes.
Four, right?
Mike D in there?
Yeah, we're all in here.
We're going to.
Four names left. Come on. A few names left. Come on what? You're out. I know. Next person that doesn't have to do it is Eddie.
Next person who doesn't have to do it is...
Me.
Ah!
You're safe, okay.
We got two names.
It's Ray or Mike.
Ray, how are you feeling about this?
I'm ready to go to Nissan, I guess.
50% chance.
Mike, how you talking about this?
I don't want to do this.
Oh, he wants to get beverage sprayed, but he won't jump in a cold back.
Come on, you got this.
All right, this person does not have to do it.
Right here.
This person does not.
So I'm going to, this name up here is going to have to do it, okay?
That's true.
By the way, look, this person is.
person is not doing it, this person is doing it.
Oh, so you're just going to tell us who it is. I love it.
The person having to do the polar plunge.
Freezing cold water is.
Who do we want it to me?
Who do you want it to be, Ramuda?
I know it's going to be Mike D. I can just tell.
Man, because poor Mike D, he just chills over there. He's so quiet.
Let him do some pain stuff. Let's go.
It is Ramunda.
Of course.
Yay.
You okay, bud?
The odds of the times lunch has been drawn and now me,
to be drawn. Those are the craziest odds
that we've both overcome to do that.
Why can't it be an M2? Somebody's just going to
smoothly go do it and it's no big thing.
I don't want to do it, but I guess I'll have
to do it. I need to gamble.
That was a crazy, that was like an 8%
chance or something. 10%.
12%. 12%. 6%.
10%. 12.2%.
So, Ramundo, on Saturday, lunchbox to get you
lined up. Yeah, lunch, come, show
me the way. No, no, he will just give you the details.
I'll just give you the information. Well, I'll make sure
that it's paid for and you'll go polar plunge.
Just get video of it, okay?
I'll just do a river near my house.
No, you will not.
That's right.
All right, lunchbox, do you feel better that you didn't lose something?
Oh, man, I feel great.
Like, it is a great day.
Life is turning around finally.
But that's it, though, right?
We're not going to do this every week because he lost.
Caitlin said she sent you some really good cookies yesterday.
Oh, yeah, from Crumble.
Crumble is amazing.
There's no E on the end for the business.
They just put together really cool concoctions.
Like there was a caramel popcorn cookie.
What?
And she sent it to me because it's neat a week, National Eating Disorder Awareness Week.
And we talked about that on my podcast, which she's on this week.
And I just thought it was super thoughtful to think of that and be like, yeah, eat the cookies.
This is amazing.
Celebrate that.
And so it's super sweet of her.
She said, I sent Amy cookies.
So, well, why?
When you send us cookies?
She said it's National Eating Disorder Week.
I sent her some cookies.
I was like, I like cookies.
You could easily click two, put our address on there.
And so she's on Amy's podcast today.
It is out today, Four Things with Amy Brown.
It is Caitlin as your guest.
Yeah, on for all four things.
And the whole thing isn't around eating disorders at all.
It's just one of the things that came up.
She shared four things that she's learned being in therapy,
which I think some of the tips, advice that she shared,
that she's taken away from therapy,
I think will be really helpful for other people.
Did I get mentioned in this podcast?
You did whenever we did.
We also covered four things that she's thankful for when we went over gratitude.
And I'll just say, you're probably one of the things.
If I'm not number one, there's going to be heck to pay when I go.
Maybe you're all the things.
Bobby, Bobby, Bobby, Bobby.
Well, what did she learn in therapy?
Well, how to handle Bobby.
What did she learn?
Okay, check out Amy's podcast, four things with Amy Brown.
The Babon Show.
Here's Amy's pile of stories.
So a Catholic school in California expelled kids over their moms.
racy online photos.
So the mom is like, well, what does my business have to do with my kids attending your school,
which her husband is out speaking that it's not fair as well.
And they make about $150,000 a month from her subscribers.
A month?
A month.
There's no way.
Read that line and tell me that's again.
Crystal says she makes up to $150,000 a month from her subscribers.
Wow.
She never expected for her hot mom only family.
account to grow so quickly.
Her name online
is Mrs. Poindexter.
Oh, lunchbox is Googling it. Great.
So other parents at the school
found out about this. They're just jealous. She's banking.
And started like petitioning
to the school. Like we can't have this family
as a part of here. So even anonymously, they were
mailing her photos to the school. So they would see them and be like,
oh, who were these racy photos? But it was the mom.
Okay.
They just want an education for their kids.
Let me think about this.
Was she doing anything illegal?
No.
Was there a private school?
Yes.
Ooh, private school.
They can do whatever they want.
And it's Catholic.
It's not a private school that's non-da-not, you know, just a atheist.
Wait, what?
Well, I don't know.
Like a school.
I just mean it's a private school that is Catholic.
There are some private schools that don't have religion.
So when you go to a private school, listen, I didn't go to a private school.
Listen, I didn't go to private school.
I was straight public school.
One very good public school either.
But a private school, there are bylaws.
There's like a book you have to agree to.
And if you break one of those laws, because it's private,
you then have to leave.
And if one of the law said something about your mom can't be naked on the internet.
Oh, yeah.
It's a good law.
So I don't know what the law said.
But if there is something, then, yeah, that's a tough way.
If it was a public school, I'd say they're out of their mind.
They can't do that.
It's probably causing a lot of disruption.
I bet the kids are all either really nice to them.
their kids or really mean to their kids.
Yeah.
You know?
But I'm going to just vote present on this instead of yay or nay.
But I bet because it's a private school, that's how they were able to kick them out legally.
Yeah, they may have to find another school that's just...
They can build their own school.
She makes $150,000 a month.
That's crazy.
That's crazy.
Insane.
All right, what else?
Okay, so a lawmaker in Illinois is proposing that grand theft auto be banned in the state.
Okay, is this is like an old white guy.
I would bet this is like a 70-year-old white guy.
I don't know.
Let's Google.
He's a Democratic State Representative Marcus Evans.
We'll have to look up his age.
We got to stop with thinking that TV shows or music or video games make people do bad things.
It's not being raised right.
It's not having good influences.
Because I've watched a lot of bad TV shows in my day.
Never have I wanted to build a meth lab.
I played Grand Theft Auto.
I've never robbed a car.
Well, tell me more of this story.
I got a little too heated too quick.
So finish the story for me.
Well, Grand Theft Auto, he says it contributes.
to carjacking, so he wants to ban it in the state of Illinois.
And other violent games, too, he said they're getting in the minds of our young people
and perpetuating the normalcy of carjacking.
Carjacking is not normal and carjacking must stop.
Did this guy get carjacked?
And someone yelled, Grand Theft Auto for Life when they did it?
You're just not going to convince me the video games.
This has got to be someone who didn't grow up in this generation.
Are we find his age?
Guys, anybody?
What was his name again?
Democratic State Representative Marcus Evans.
What?
Well, he's an idiot. Mike said he's not done.
Well, that's a dumb thing.
Stop thinking that there have been bad shows and video games our whole life.
Not being raised right is what makes people do these things.
It's like having a dog that attacks.
Well, it must be his breed.
No, it's not his breed?
It's a dog wasn't raised right if that happens.
I just, but also, too, listen, I don't really have an opinion either way
because I don't know enough information and I don't play video games at all.
But I wonder, I often wonder, why do we have.
such violent video games.
And is Grand Theft Auto the one where
like other stuff can be done too that's illegal?
Yeah. But why do we have such
violent TV shows? I know. Why can we
watch somebody murder somebody at 8 o'clock
on an N-CIS? It's the same thing.
It's primetime TV. There are more eyeballs on
that than a video game.
So once you get those shows off the air.
We just need a video game where they're
going around like doing good deeds.
They have those too. They do? Yeah, nobody
Bob. Nobody cares about that.
All right. Give me another story.
So Thomas Wrett announced that he's doing some shows.
I thought I'd share this story just because it's hope for the future and music and what's to come.
He's going to be playing May 6th, 7th, and 8th at Billy Bob's, Texas to help celebrate their 40th birthday,
which crazy that Billy Bob's is 40.
He used to go there in college a lot, shout out.
And so also something cool about these shows is they're going to help those affected by the winter storms in Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana.
A portion of the proceeds will go to the North Texas food.
bank for that. So I thought it was pretty awesome. We're about to get right. In the next three months,
most folks will be able to be vaccinated and then they should open up. We should open up. Let's go.
Like once most people, once we all have the opportunity to get it, we should all have the opportunity
to go out and live our lives again. Let's go. Yeah, I mean, if you think about it, I mean,
Thomas read at Billy Bob's, that's a small venue for him. So there will be limited capacity.
It will be socially distance, all the COVID protocols in place. But still, it's cool to.
see that there's a show happening and tickets go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. Central.
I'm also going to tell you, I have a couple friends that are artists who have already been vaccinated.
And I'm like, I do the eyebrow up.
Interesting.
How do we get that? Because I haven't been.
I'm over here waiting for some place to have extra. I'm emailing.
Hey, you got anything? Hey, can I get a hit?
Can I get a hit?
Hey, you got a hit. Well, I know. I'm going to throw them under a bus because it's not my job to do so.
And they did it the right way. I think they got an extra. They're waiting outside of a place to get an extra.
Oh, they went to Walgreens and stuff?
Well, no.
I don't know.
There's like a medical, medical, say.
At the end of the day, they have to go out of their vaccines.
And supposedly, they were waiting at the end.
What's the initials?
I'm not, because I'm not shaming them.
I wish I could find that situation, though.
All right, Amy, that's it.
I'm Amy. That's my pile.
That was Amy's pile of stories.
It's time for the good news.
With Amy.
Tell me something good.
Shout out to Adolfo Melendez.
He's the owner of a Tex-Mex.
restaurant called El Mescal, and he has spent more than $2,000 of his own advertising money
to promote his competitors.
He went and bought gift cards from their restaurants and is passing them out to people
because he just feels like a lot of local businesses need the support, and he'd rather
everybody work together in this instead of being competitors in it.
Dang.
Isn't that awesome?
I don't know that I'd be that good of a person.
That's good for him, though.
That's what it's all about.
That's great.
That was tell me something good.

Ready to go.
Let's go and get the investigative corny in with Amy.
We have to figure out the morning corny.
We do it once a week on Thursdays.
Let's go.
Morning corny!
Where does Captain Hook love to shop?
Where does Captain Hook love to shop?
So there's Neverland?
Neverland is what came to my mind.
Is there a land?
store. I never got to be.
Cumberland. Timberland.
Timberland. Hook.
So what about Captain Hook is? There's a pirate ship.
There's a hook on his arm.
Sure. Is he a patch over his arm? He's part of Peter Pan.
Wonderland.
Peter Pan.
Wonderland. Does he go look for him at Wonderland?
What's the joke again?
Yeah, we read it just again. Oh, what is Captain Hook's favorite store?
Or where does he love to shop?
Hook. Okay, so Hook. We got to get, we got dial in on that.
Bass Pro Shop.
Bass pro shopping Cabel
is really doing great deals right now.
I'm a commercial for one of our clients.
Captain Hook
shot.
Yeah, his favorite place is shot.
Pirate. Pirate, he's a pirate.
Arr.
Walmart.
Oh, that's funny.
That would be a good one.
Walmart.
Warmard.
Paraget.
That's not it though.
Oh.
I know.
Where does Captain Hook?
Oh, Captain D.
It's more of it.
It is a place you shop, but like this is...
No, no, no, no hints.
Oh, okay.
When did this happen?
Well, I don't know.
Mike says 30 seconds.
So where we shop.
J.C. Pinnies.
Casey Hookies.
Shop at Daisy.
Well, I mean, I don't know the last time I've been shopping.
Oh, my God.
I can't even think of names. The store's Gap?
Man, y'all been getting these.
I know.
Guess?
What kind of store does he shop at?
Hot Topic.
Clare.
Captain Hook.
Time.
Fish.
Oh, boom.
Fish fry.
I don't know.
We're going to go.
Just for fun, let's go with Walmart.
Love it.
That actually works, though.
That's not it, but people...
Well, if it's not it, it's not it, though.
It might be better.
That's going to be our answer.
Let's do it again.
The morning corny.
Where is Captain Hook's favorite place to shop?
We're going to go to Walmart.
Okay.
Where is Captain Hook's favorite place to shop?
A second-hand store.
Oh, that's kind of funny.
That's funny.
I like that hook on a hand.
We'd never got that, but...
Pretty good. There you go. That's the morning corny.
I was like it better when we celebrate.
I know.
I know, but I feel like y'all's answer is good.
Yeah. We didn't win.
Okay.
One and three drivers say that their cars are too full of junk to even have room for passengers to get into their car.
Now, this was handed to me by Scooba Steve, who said, hey, you should read this story on the air because I took some pictures inside lunchboxes car.
Man, Scooba. Come on. I give you.
Go ahead.
So we had to go get some audio like I think it was last week
And he gets me into his car
And I was like no I can drive
He's like no I'll drive thinking okay
Thank you
I get into his vehicle passenger seat
He has to literally like shove everything off the seat
And it's like this
It smells like sweaty pennies
You know that scent you have
You hold change in your hand for a long time
This whole car reeks of that
There's like old clothes sweaty clothing
There's rappers there's food
There's a cigarette box
There's all this nasty stuff in his car
A cigarette box
smoking lunch?
No, that must have got stuck on Scooba Steve's shoe, and he must have brought it into my car.
It was like Virginia Slims or something.
I don't even know what that is.
So his car was gross.
It was nasty.
Once we opened up his trunk, we went to play like softball or something.
We opened it and spider started crawling out of his trunk.
Like a family.
They live there.
Yeah.
So this is a known thing then.
We were interrupting their livelihood by opening up that trunk.
I mean, there's a picture.
There's stuff everywhere.
Are you one of these people lunchbox because you have too much junk people to get in?
Yeah.
I mean, no one really rides in my car ever.
So, I mean, it's just, when I get done eating something, I'll just toss it over in the passenger side, and eventually six months later, I'll clean it out.
One in five said they haven't cleaned their car in the past three months.
Yep.
10% said they can't remember the last time they thoroughly cleaned their car.
I have no idea.
How clean is your car?
Pretty clean?
Yeah.
I have a couple, like, clothing items probably in a book in the back seat.
Yeah, I think I have one jacket and a rainbow pillow.
Yeah, Eddie, your car cleaner now?
Moderately clean.
In the back, I always have fishing poles and tackle boxes.
is in a case of water, but other than that, pretty clean.
Lunchbox, does your wife keep a really dirty car?
No, her car's pretty clean.
I mean, the kids, they ride in her car, so it's a little bit messy because they drop food or
whatever.
Besides that, there's no wrappers or anything.
Every time she gets out, she gets cups, everything, and she takes it in the house.
Is she the end of your yang when it comes to you being extremely sloppy and her being
clean?
100%.
So she's really straight.
She likes it clean.
She gets so grossed out by my habits.
and sometimes she does fall into my habits
because she gets so frustrated that she just gives up.
Don't you like put all the dirty dishes?
What's the thing in your kitchen?
What's the thing in the sink?
And I mean, they'll get done eventually.
No, his laundry.
No, no, no, no.
His clean laundry, he puts it on the kitchen table.
Yeah, I do put my laundry on the kitchen table
because I just never get around to putting it away.
I'll wash it, I'll dry it,
and then you need the dryer for the next load.
So you've got to put your clothes somewhere, so you set it on the table.
On the kitchen table.
Yeah, or the counter.
And you will just leave dishes and never wash them.
Never wash them.
Until she does.
Yeah. What do you do around the house?
I mow the yard. I trim the bushes, the hedges. I plant the flowers in the gardens.
Like I make the yard look appealing. Do you do any housework?
Is that not housework? Inside the housework.
I do my own laundry.
That's something. Yeah, that's pretty impressive.
Do you guys ever fight about that?
No. It's just whenever she moved in when we got married, she did her laundry.
I did my laundry because I already knew how to do my laundry and I don't want to mess up her laundry and get yelled at.
you know how guys get yelled at for her.
You're not allowed to wash that. It'll shrink.
Don't have to worry about it. She does it.
And she does all the kids laundry.
So you guys do your own laundry and you share your own money.
Oh, you don't share your own money.
Correct.
But we share the same bed, but different sheets, like different blankets.
Because you sweat.
Because I sweat.
So she has a big heavy comforter and I just have a little light blanket.
So you don't do laundry for each other.
You don't.
Does she know how much you make?
No.
She still doesn't know how much money you make a year.
No. She's never asked.
No. Why? Why does she need to know that? I am paying my...
Okay, but when she was working, did you know how much she made?
Yeah. Okay. Why'd you need to know that?
I knew that because when she got hired, she got the job while we were married, so I knew what the salary was.
But like, I'm sure you've had a contract renewal while y'all've been married and it hasn't come up.
Like, hey, what's...
No, I just said, hey, my contract's coming up and I've been doing negotiating. She goes, oh, good, I hope you get what you want.
And that was it?
That's it. She's a supporting wife. She's great.
and she's nice, she cooks dinner
She's nice.
She cooks dinner.
She's nice.
Let's play the Bobby feud.
So the question is,
who are the most likable A-list actors?
Obviously, got to be a big-time actor.
This is done.
They surveyed 2,000 people.
IMDB did.
And it's people watching movies.
Most likable A-list actors.
Amy, you're up.
One, two, three, five,
Ten answers on the board. Go.
The Rock.
Dwayne Johnson.
At number two, you get two points for that.
All right?
I'm still, still me?
Still you.
The most likable A-list actors.
Or actresses?
Okay.
Gosh, I just, oh, Tom Hanks.
Tom Hanks is at number one.
You get one point for that.
You get less points for the easy ones.
I'm making up a new...
I was like a stand for.
I'm so confused.
Go ahead about it.
The one answer is Tom Hanks.
Okay.
But you still keep the category.
All right.
I've got to think who would make the likable for a...
Jennifer Aniston.
Jennifer Aniston.
Show me, Jennifer Aniston!
At number eight.
Really?
You get eight points for that.
Okay.
Why can't I think of more people?
I mean, there are so many nice options, but then I don't know.
Let's go with
Dinsel Washington
Show me
Denzel Washington
Oh
I like him by the way
Amy
Amy at 11 points
Lunchbox is coming over to you

written down
And everybody seems to love him
Seems like the toast of the town
Everybody every time he reads stories
He's doing good things
George Clooney
George Clooney
Show me Clooney
The Toast of the Town
Incorrect.
What's that mean?
The guy everybody's toasting in our neighborhood.
Like you walked through and they're like,
Hey, George.
You got a glass of me here.
Eddie?
Okay.
See, I thought when he was saying all this,
like, hey, people say he does good stuff.
There's cameras all the time.
Catch him do good things around town.
He's the toast of the town.
I'm going Keanu Reeves.
X.
Kiano Reeves.
Show me.
Key, uh, O, Reeves.
Oh, wow.
Toast of the town.
Back around.
Okay.
Now, the game's only over when none of.
you three get in a category. Three Xs in a row. Okay, um, Betty White.
Okay, yeah. I mean what? Show me Betty White. It's getting ugly here. These are the most
likable A-list actors, massive actors, or actresses, but I say all actors. Go ahead.
Oh, man. I don't know if you, uh, all right, I'll go with, uh, the girl, I think,
Julia Roberts. Show me Julia Roberts. 10 points. Yeah. Number 10. Oh, that's coming in with
bang.
Yeah, it is.
I had her in my head.
I should have said it.
Lunchbox category is still yours.
Okay.
Julia Roberts.
She's awesome.
Another person, I don't know if he's popular anymore, though.
Gosh.
Oh, man.
He's a little weirdo, but people may like him.
I don't know.
Tom Cruise.
Tom Cruise.
Show me Tom Cruise.
Oh.
Eddie, you need some point to get on the board here, bud.
I do.
I do.
So I have still people on my list.
Amy, I know you'll agree.
with me on this? I'm going to go with a Reese Witherspoon.
Yes. Reese Witherspoon.
Seven points.
And number seven on the board is reached witherspoon.
Oh, I got one. And this is where it gets tough.
That's my good. Bones, I think you'll agree
with me on this one because you like him. Ryan Reynolds.
Ryan Reynolds. Show me Ryan Reynolds.
No.
Come here on the board?
There are one, two, three, four. Five more on the board.
Some of them have good points attached to him.
I like it. I like it.
Will Smith.
Good one, Amy.
Good.
Show me Will Smith.
At number four.
Good, Amy.
Four points.
All right, Amy.
There are still one, two, three.
Four answers on the board.
Okay, I'm going to go with Morgan Freeman.
That's fantastic, Amy.
What a good pick.
Bobby's face.
It's not on there.
Show me Morgan Freeman.
That was an easy.
Three points at number three.
Great.
Amy now have 18 points
They can still catch you but
I'm coming
I'm coming
You got number 5, 6 and 9 left on the board
5 6 and 9
And that's how many points there were
Go ahead
5 6 and 9
I'm gonna go
With
Tina Faye
Show me Tina Faye
No
Lunchbox
I'm torn here
Because I got a guy and a girl
And I just don't know which one is what
But this guy is the toast of the town.
He is so popular.
I mean, he even married a bartender just a normal dude.
Give me Matt Damon.
Show me Matt Damon.
What?
Eddie, if you miss this, it's over, and Amy wins with 18 points.
There's still enough people here.
No, she got Morgan Freeman.
We're alive.
But she missed it after that.
Oh, dang it.
I don't know.
Who knows?
I want another shot.
We're working on the rules these games as we go.
I want another shot.
Eddie?
Guys, I only have two more written on my list.
Go ahead.
And none of them really are just too likable to me, but maybe people like them.
I have Anna Kendrick and Brad Pitt.
I don't know who to pick.
Brad Pitt, I mean, he's just really, really famous.
I don't know if people love him or not.
You want that answer?
Anna Kendrick?
I think people like her.
But is she that famous?
Give him Brad Pitt.
Give him Brad Pitt.
Incorrect.
I'm going to give you guys each one more guess.
Okay, I got it.
Amy?
Nicole Kidman
That's who I had!
That's who I was between.
Oh.
Oh.
He went, oh, never mind.
I didn't have that.
I don't ever.
I don't know.
Scratch that off.
Scratch that off.
Who is likable and famous and hot?
Sandra Bullock.
Show me, Sandra Bullock.
Any last shot, game's over.
All right, I'm just going to go with Annie Kendrick.
Anna Kendrick.
Incorrect.
With 18 points, Amy is your winner of the Bobby feud.
Nice job.
There she is.
Hey, clap.
I don't clap when I live.
I'm waiting for my song.
Okay, and your other three at number five, Steve Carell.
Oh.
Yeah.
Oh, man.
Oh, Seth Rogen.
Him on the morning show?
I know that's not really him.
Yeah, it's a character he plays.
I know.
At number six, Jim Carrey.
And at number nine, Bill Murray.
Bill Murray, so likable.
There you go.
Play her song one more time.
There she is, our big winner, Amy.
there you go.
So for flashing back,
this is last year around Christmas time,
a four-year-old sent a letter to Santa,
put it in a balloon,
and just hoped the balloon would land at the North Pole.
It made its way 650 miles before someone found that balloon.
They didn't get all the way to Santa.
And then they helped her with her list.
They got some Christmas presents.
It was a really touching story.
And what we do on this show sometimes
is make touching really dumb.
So Lunchbox's got a balloon
and put in it this list.
He wrote,
please help me.
I would like lots of lottery scratch-off tickets,
a housekeeper,
a personal chef,
a boat,
and a Lambo,
which is a Lamborghini.
Absolutely.
Everybody knows that.
When you say Lambo,
it's known.
In circles,
it's called a Lamborghini.
I don't know how this ends.
So from here out,
I know nothing.
So someone has contacted you
about the balloon.
Someone has contacted me.
I was told,
hey, lunch, you got a package.
And I'm like, you got a package?
Here at the station.
Have you opened it?
And I opened it.
Wait, was the mailing address on there?
Yeah, well, I got the letter.
Oh, okay, go ahead.
That was in the box.
Go ahead.
It says, hey, man, I found this balloon on the ground.
I saw the note inside and did some digging and found you online.
I don't listen to your show, but started checking you guys out.
It's a pretty cool show, and I figured out to help you out.
No way I can hook you up with exactly what you're looking for.
So I did my best.
Check out the contents of the box.
Hope it brightens your day.
Joe in Rome, Georgia.
That is crazy.
It floated down to Georgia.
We need to talk to Rome.
Do we have...
He's in Rome, Georgia.
Yeah, his name is Rome.
That's his name?
Joe and Rome?
Joe in Rome, Georgia.
Okay.
Do you have the box with you?
Yeah, I have the box with me.
All right, here we go.
This is crazy.
No, I want to send up a balloon.
Okay.
He's opening up, it's a white box.
It's a white box.
It's a U.S.
Postal.
Yeah.
Priority mail.
Out of the box first.
Out of the box first.
How many things are in there?
There's one, two, three, four.
Okay, pull the first thing out.
Got me a boat.
Oh, he bought him a toy boat.
Got me a boat.
That's awesome.
That's funny.
It's like a Hot Wheels boat, kind of.
Yeah.
Okay.
All right, next.
I don't know if this is to get my personal chef or what,
but gave me $300 in Monopoly money.
I think that's just cash, right?
Yeah, okay.
Go ahead.
Next.
Lottery ticket.
Scratch off.
A $5 scratcher.
Did you already scratch it?
No, not yet.
Okay.
Oh, what if you win on that $5 scratcher?
This is going to be crazy.
This would be amazing.
Are you ready?
We'll scratch it later on in the show.
Hey, love it.
Get ready.
Oh, this is a big one?
Big one.
Okay.
It sounds like keys, guys.
Because it's a Lambo!
Okay, it's a Hot Wheels Lamborghini.
How funny did this guy went to the store and got all this stuff for him?
I mean, yeah.
That's pretty amazing.
I mean, that is pretty freaking funny.
This is a feel-good story.
It's not exactly what I wanted, but I appreciate the creativity, the funny, the part of actually mailing me a box to the studio.
Great.
Thank you, Rome, Georgia.
No, his name's Joe.
Oh, whatever.
Do you have Joe's number?
Is it on there?
It is not on there, but maybe I can do some.
I think I have his address on this box and I can, is that stalker-ish?
How do you look up his number by his address?
Well, you find out his name.
and maybe send him a message on Facebook.
Okay.
You go for it, see you can find him.
Okay.
I just didn't know if that was too creepy.
No, I mean, he sent you a box.
Okay.
Hey, we have to give it up, though, for Joe.
Yeah.
Yeah, I have to.
So the balloon made it all the way.
Hey, look up the miles.
I got it.
Oh, you know the mileage?
Yeah.
From here where we are to Rome, Georgia is 206 miles.
Wow.
Or 216, depending on the route you take.
Well, the balloon didn't take a route.
But the balloon didn't take a faster route.
Yeah, the sky.
bird flies.
Yeah.
I'm just telling you what it's said.
Hey, Bones, this could be the story that puts lunchbox on the news.
Yeah, especially if you win the lottery.
That's the story right there.
If I win the lottery, guys, oh my gosh, we're going to go crazy.
If you win $1,000 or more, it'll be insane.
It's the news, and you call back as Nico Jackson trying to get on the news.
Oh, I love it.
This is for real.
Maybe I call anyway and be like, hey, this is Nico Jackson, and someone sent my nephew a package that he sent up a balloon.
But then that's a lie in it.
won't.
They'll come covered to be like next.
You want it to be you, not the nephew.
Here's what we're going to do.
About half hour or so we'll scratch his thing on the air.
This is got,
come on, guys.
If you win any money, will you hook Joe up with any of it?
It depends how much I win.
No, we need to have a commitment to you.
No.
No, what?
Wow.
You do.
You do.
You're going no?
No.
You do like 1% of what you win.
This is why now you're not going to win.
Why have negative attitude there?
Well, because, like if you.
Yeah, Missy.
All right.
About 20, 30 minutes, we're going to scratch his tickets if you want.
That's really cool.
Look at this.
Jell and Rob George.
Great job.
It's time for the good news.
With producer Eddie.
Tell me something good.
Devin Hinkston from Alexandria, Louisiana's driving down the neighborhood.
And he sees this little boy playing basketball in his driveway, but he's using a trash can for a hoop.
So he goes, no, no, no, this is not the way it's supposed to be.
So he went to the store and bought this kid a new basketball hoop, installed it for him and said,
hey, surprise, come back out here.
Look, you have a basketball goal.
And the kid went to.
He started crying, he got emotional, and the mom got emotional, but it was a good day for him.
He gets to play real basketball with a real hoop.
Yeah, that's awesome.
Even just putting it together.
That's a big deal.
I know.
Heck, Eddie had to come put mine together.
And it's brutal, I'll tell you.
That's what it's all about right there.
That was Tell Me Something Good.

Tomorrow at 9 Eastern 8 Central, our new line of Pimp and Joy goes up at Bobby Bones.com.
It's sweats, it's hoodies, you're going to like it.
Be ready because it will sell out quickly.
Bobbybones.com.
All right, let's go to the news.
Bobby's Big.
Story.
Remember the Bruce Springsteen story where he goes and a fan goes, hey, let me give you a shot?
He goes, I'll drink the shot.
Okay, drinks a shot.
Gets out his motorcycle drives away.
Yes.
I was like, how is that a law where that's a DWI?
because he didn't blow over the limit,
not even close to it,
but because that fan gave him a shot
and he was right there on the motorcycle.
The cops saw him.
And I wasn't saying that he shouldn't be in trouble
because if that's the law, that's the law.
I was just amazed that you could blow a 0.02,
which isn't near the limit
and still get a DU or DWI.
Well, prosecutors dropped the DWI
and reckless driving charges against Bruce Springsteen.
Bruce Springsteen pleaded guilty Wednesday
to drinking with fans
at a New Jersey park
but dodged the DWI
and reckless driving
because prosecutor says
he wasn't drunk
during the incident
shouldn't that be what it is
like if you hit the limit
then that's the limit
is his Jeep commercial
being reinstated
back on
okay
back on their
back on their website
such a good commercial
yeah
awesome
just a weird law
maybe we cut some of the gray
out of this
maybe that's what we get from this
that they go
well that's a weird law
one way or another
let's fix it
so drinking in the park
is the illegal part?
I think he had to plead guilty to something.
Yeah, something.
Because I don't think they wanted to walk away
a total loss of prosecutors.
Yes, that's basically what happened.
And I'm not a Bruce Springsteen fan per se.
I have friends of mine that grew up in the Northeast
that love them, die hard.
Me, I'm like, take it or leave it.
In my mind, that ain't it, right?
But he had some good songs back in the day.
But I do respect the fact that people are so passionate about him
that I'm just missing it.
You know how there are certain things in your life
that you know. He just didn't get into. It would take a lot of effort to get into, but if you did,
you'd probably love it. And that probably is Bruce Springsteen to me. Yeah, it's Game of Thrones for me.
Yeah. And you know what? It'd be a lot of work. But in the end, you'd love it. But I'm not. I'm not
going to do it. I know. I've dabbled, like, for five minutes. You can't dabble, though. You know,
you got to jump all the way in. I know. I just couldn't get there. Let's see. Tiger Woods
was not intoxicated. Speaking of that, they said it again yesterday. I think they're now even more
sure of it. During an interview on Zoom, the Los Angeles County Sheriff said Tiger Woods was not
intoxicated. It was purely an accident. Here's a clip of his comments. The deputy on scene
assessed the condition of Tiger Woods and there was no evidence of any impairment whatsoever.
He was lucid, no order of alcohol, no evidence of any medication, narcotics or anything like
that who would bring that into question. So that was not a concern at the time. So therefore,
obviously no field sobriety test and no DRE drug recognition expert needed to respond to
do any further assessment at that. This is what it is an accident.
Wow.
Big accident, man.
And I think that car saved his life.
He had a seatbelt on.
Wasn't it a Hyundai?
Hyundai.
What car was he in?
It was a Hyundai.
Genesis.
Wasn't a Genesis?
Genesis.
Yeah, Genesis is like their top line, kind of like Toyota has Lexus.
It's their top line of Hyundai.
Wow.
We went tumbling.
Strap himself in?
Not while he was tumbling.
He's already seatbelted in, obviously.
It's great.
He's going to be okay.
He may not play golf again,
but at the end of the day,
you're just trying to live your life,
get back to normal.
Garth Brooks, I got my Garth Brooks shirt on today.
Saw that.
Garth and Trisha are currently quarantining at home.
She's COVID positive.
Oh, man.
I had heard a couple weeks ago somebody was positive there,
and that they were quarantining.
Now we know it's Trisha.
Garth says he's still.
doesn't have it, but that she had some tough times that she's pulling through.
So our best wishes to Tricia.
Is that why you wore the shirt or did you just...
I'd like to say it was.
Okay.
But I can't because I just put it on randomly.
I was good.
Here's what happened this morning.
I was going to wear a Blink 182 shirt to work.
I have a really old fun Blink 182 shirt from one of their famous albums where the nurse is
putting the glove on.
Oh, yeah.
And I was wearing it.
And Caitlin's like, that's a little loft brand for you this morning.
And I was like, what?
She goes, she's in a bra.
You're going to, and I was like, oh, yeah, probably shouldn't wear that.
I got to do, like, interviews for the opery today.
I'm on the show.
I didn't think much about it.
My style selection has been described as I walk into a pile of clothes, throw them all up in the air,
and then whatever lands on me I wear to work.
She's like, that's what you do every day.
And I just didn't think much about it.
She's like, it's kind of off-brand.
I'm glad she said that.
At first, I was annoyed.
I was like, why do you, why are you telling me what to wear?
And then I walked back in the bathroom.
I was like, thank God.
I'm going to go ahead and put on cars.
So I switched it out.
And then as I was driving to wear it.
work. I was like, oh yeah.
You can wear the other shirt tomorrow. I have basically a shirt, though, of every Garth's album.
You do? Just about, yeah. That's cool. And a lot of tour.
Unless I'm a Garth guy. What do you expect from a Garth guy, you know?
Finally, a woman took her ex-husband to court to demand compensation for all the housework
she did while they were together. And she won. The court ordered her ex to pay $7,700 in
quote, housework compensation. That's amazing.
There you go. Yeah, hold that instead of
president for all lush slubs.
That's your news. Thank you.
Bobby's Big.
Story.
We are moments away.
In the next segment,
lunchbox will scratch off this lottery ticket that the guy mailed him.
We're going to do that.
Let me go over and talk to Rick in Kentucky, who's got a question.
Hey, Rick, what's happening?
How you doing, Bobby?
Good, man.
What can I help you with?
Well, I was just wondering why country music fans still aren't able to get refunds
on concerts that were scheduled in 20.
That's a great question. So here's what happened. And I think some of the artists made a really cool move in going ahead and canceling their tours because when you cancel it, you get your money back. When you postpone a tour, they go, okay, we're going to postpone it. You wait till the new dates come out. And then if you don't want to go to the show, then we'll give your money back. But what a lot of artists did, they're like, we're just going to postpone, keep the money. And then maybe not as many people will want their money back once we announce it a year later.
But for example, Marin Morris went,
you know what, you guys probably need your money right now.
And if you're going to buy a ticket, if I do it again next year,
you can just do that then.
So canceled.
So she canceled her shows.
A couple artists did that.
Whose show do you have that they postponed, Rick?
I had the Blake Shelton's Heroes Tour up in Little Caesar's Arena up in Michigan.
And Blake Shelton still has it postponed, listed on Ticketmaster.
And even though social media.
says that he's not going to have the same artist, so he's going to cancel it, but he hasn't
done it on ticketmaster. So the vendor's not refunding the money until it says canceled.
Yeah, and they won't, because what their goal is, Ticketmaster, or whomever is making that
decision, probably not Blake. Blake's not sitting at home going, you know what, man,
let me try to get some money from Rent, Kentucky. Honestly, it's not a Blake thing, but they're
going, hey, if we postpone it, maybe we won't lose as many people as if we cancel it where we
lose everyone and have to redo it again.
But I do commend the artist who kind of took a stand and said, hey, we're canceling everything.
We'll just put it back on if we decide we can do it and you guys can buy tickets then.
All that makes sense?
Yeah, it's a good explanation.
Rick, not do you like it, but does that help understand?
Yeah, no, I understand why they're doing.
I was just hoping that maybe.
Blake was listening and he'd cancel it right now.
Sorry, whatever, Rick.
All right, it'd be great.
Sorry I couldn't help you with the money, but that's what's up, and thanks for calling.
I think a lot of listeners have that question, so I appreciate you asking.
All right, have a good day.
All right, bye-bye.
I was up all night last night.
Well, I was up for a lot of the night.
Big Arkansas Razorback basketball win last night.
The game was late to begin with.
It was at 8 o'clock.
So how long is it last?
Well, I didn't end until after 10, and then I was probably up screaming at the moon until like 12, 30, or 1.
It was awesome.
It's like the biggest Razorback win at 15 years.
Now, Amy, he is crediting himself, though, for those wins because he said that ever since...
Since I went on the broadcast on ESPN, we have a lost.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And he truly believes he has something to do with that, Amy.
Okay.
We beat the number 16 in the country last night.
Who did y'all play?
Alabama.
Oh.
It's fantastic.
I couldn't believe it.
I couldn't believe it.
But I couldn't believe it.
By how much?
Oh, like 10, 11.
At the end, I forget.
That is pretty awesome.
Anyway, that's what I was doing all night last night.
I was going to wear an Arkansas shirt, too.
But I was really on Blink 182 this morning.
For some reason.
Yeah.
Earlier in the show, lunchbox got a box,
and in the box was all the stuff that he had asked for.
He sent a balloon off a month ago.
It traveled about 300 miles to Rome, Georgia,
where a guy found that balloon,
saw the list.
In the list were a housekeeper.
In the list were a Lamborghini, a boat, scratch-offs.
And so he sent him a toy boat,
a Hot Wheels Lamborghini, but a real-life scratch-off.
Yeah, real-life scratch-off that I can win a million dollars.
Okay, so read to me what it is exactly.
It is going to, I have four, you say winning numbers.
You scratch the four numbers at the top,
and then you go down and you scratch 15 different numbers.
If any of those match, the four numbers at the top,
you win that amount of money, and if you get a star, you win all 15 prizes.
Wow, from the top four.
Yeah.
All right, let's scratch those four.
Come on, come on, line.
Let's scratch those four.
Scratch, scratch, scratch.
If he hits this.
First number, 33 is what we're looking for.
Next number is 8, 39.
This guy's a scratcher.
Let me tell you.
He is going to do it.
Let me write these down.
Go ahead.
What are they?
33, 8, 39, 25.
None of my lucky numbers.
Here's a thing.
That's okay.
Because if like the number is eight on there and he starts to pull numbers and that's like nine and then seven.
It's over.
Yeah, you know it's over. It's a losing ticket, you can just throw in the trash.
All right, give us the first three number. He's scratching it off.
First three numbers. Come on, lunchbox.
Oh my gosh. First number 25.
We won! We won't! We won't!
How long did you win?
I haven't scratched that for you yet. Oh, no!
Oh, yeah! Oh, no, oh yeah!
What did this mean?
They want something, you can tell the truth.
He's telling the truth.
Show the camera. Go to the camera.
Hold it. Hold it up.
So people on Facebook can see it.
25. 25.
All right.
Here we go. You ready for how much?
No, no. Wait, hold on. What?
I'm going to scratch how much I won.
Let's do that to him.
Okay, okay.
What if they're all 25s?
There we go. Second one.
Come on, let's win another one.
Okay, that's not one of them, but we're still good.
11.
Okay, keep going, baby.
Okay.
46.
What's good is we're not surrounding the other numbers.
Yeah, yeah. We're still far away.
Six.
I know. I thought it was an eight, too.
I got really pumped.
All right, here we go.
Come on, baby.
Let's win another one.
Oh, 38.
30.
Oh, okay.
Here's what we are right now.
How many numbers we got down?
Five.
We've done one, two, three, four, five, six.
And there are nine to go?
Yeah.
And he's hit one number so far we don't know how much you've won yet.
Right.
The first number out of the gate we hit.
Oh, I love a good gate.
That's good.
Oh, man.
Gate number one was good to us, baby.
And if you missed, lunchbox did say that if he won, he would give the guy zero percent.
That's true.
That's right.
Zero percent.
Alright here we go scratch. We got nine numbers to go come on the numbers are 33 8
Oh yeah, it's like it's turned around
The number hey never show the camera should we should we should we like I think we need to pause every time is every time we see the like the start of a new scratches when we win it's the first one out of the gate
Oh my gosh this is bonkers
Okay he's got he's had two numbers so far are you ready? Yeah how many numbers we have left?
One lesson we had last time a I don't remember what I was
I don't either.
Alright, here we go.
43.
Okay.
Okay, we're good though, let's go.
Yeah.
24.
Okay, it's not it.
He's hit twice though.
You've hit twice though.
Yeah.
Next is...
We got it.
We don't know how much he's won yet.
But he's hit three times on the same ticket.
Three times.
Okay. So, how many numbers left?
One, two, three, four, five.
Okay, his numbers are 33, eight, 39, and 25.
Let's go.
You ready?
He doesn't even say you want, he just starts screaming.
He wanted to get out.
What did you get?
Number right.
Shut the camera.
You've got to get you on the camera.
You hit four times so far.
Four times.
This is unbelievable.
Amy's looking to me like I did something.
I can't set up the lottery.
I know.
I'm just like, so, this is going to be amazing.
I can't believe it.
Okay, here we go.
So we have four numbers left.
Okay, here we go.
Hey, Skuga, will you verify that we had no way to set up a lottery ticket?
No, I thought about doing it, but that's a legit ticket.
We thought about doing a joke ticket.
That's a legit ticket.
But would the guy have done a joke ticket?
This isn't a joke ticket.
This is a winning ticket.
A joke ticket's a losing ticket.
Yeah.
Oh.
Or a joke ticket.
Or you win like a lot.
Yeah.
And it's not this big.
It's like a little small.
They already looked it over.
All right.
How many left?
Look at lunch.
I got to cry.
Three left.
Are these your bonus ones?
These are my bonus ones.
I don't know, they just put bonus to make you feel better, but we got three left.
Oh my gosh.
You ready?
Yeah.
Here we go.
He starts jumping up and down again.
No, number 44.
Okay.
Okay, but still.
Oh, I got two left.
Two left.
Oh, okay.
His numbers are 338, 39, and 25?
We need to take a break, or we're good?
We're good.
We're good.
Okay.
26.
Okay, one more number.
Then we find out how much lunchbox won.
One more number!
Let's go!
One million.
Maybe what if he wins a million dollars?
That I would be super.
happy for him. Oh, 32.
Okay. Now here's where we are.
32. If you just
turn the radio on,
lunchbox sent a balloon up in the air.
A hot air balloon. No, up. Helium balloon.
Thank you. It floated off.
And inside that helium balloon, there was
a note that said, if you can grant
my wishes, whomever finds this,
I'd like a housekeeper,
a Lamborghini, a boat,
scratch off lottery tickets.
The person who found it was in Georgia.
It was 250, 300 miles away.
sent a box with all that stuff in a joking manner, toys,
but also sent a real-life scratch off for you.
Correct.
And so he has scratched, and how many numbers won?
The same ticket.
One.
I believe four.
Two, three, four, five.
Five.
Five out of 15.
Every number of that has won him something.
But we don't know the prize.
We don't know.
Are you ready to scratch the first one to see what you won?
We have five.
Come on, Ledgewell.
Let's start at the top.
What would you be different?
disappointed in what would you be pumped about?
Oh, man.
Listen, I am pumped with anything over $25.
Okay.
Per per number.
$25.
Here we go.
First one.
First one.
Okay.
What?
$5.
Okay.
That's okay.
That's great.
That's a great.
We're building up.
They're not going to give it to you right out of the gate.
Yeah.
They're not going to give you out of the first cake.
All right.
Here we go.
Next one is.
Number eight, number eight.
Okay, another winner here.
Oh, five dollars.
Okay, okay, okay, we still got three to go.
It's all right.
We still got three to go.
Now, lunchbox, here's the deal I'll make you.
We've kind of, we've kind of fallen off the cliff, guys.
No, but that's $10.
You were excited, and now it's kind of like a letdown.
Eddie, would you like to buy his ticket from him for $15 total?
For $15, and there's five that you won?
Yeah, would you buy it from the...
No.
You don't want to sell it?
Because there's three more winners, so it's automatically going to be more than $15.
Unless they're all $1.
Oh, would they do that to you?
Or,
one of them could be worth how much?
A million.
See?
No, I wouldn't sell it.
Okay.
I wouldn't sell it.
Would you sell it for $30?
No.
No.
No.
I'm offering you $35 right now for that ticket.
Because one of those could be big, buns.
I can't do it.
I have three winners sitting there for a million dollars.
If I get a million freaking dollars and I sold it for $35, I would never be able to work here again.
He probably wouldn't
I would have to class offer for that ticket
$50.
Lunch, you see the pattern of fives.
But he all,
Lunchbox also knows that it just takes one.
Eddie, I'm kind of on your, I'm already thinking.
Here's the thing, if you sell me this
and I win, you don't get any of the money.
I'm going to keep it all.
Yeah, I mean, the same.
And that would hurt you bad.
The same logic should apply about $35 versus $50.
Like you're not going to.
50 is more than $35.
I, okay, but in the grand scheme of things, it's...
I'm telling you, if I win, I'm going to send you the money before you give me the ticket,
and it's over.
We have proof.
It's my money, regardless of what it is.
And you still wouldn't be able to come back to work.
Lottery gods talk to me, please.
Oh, you're praying right now.
Yeah, send me a sign.
Like, am I supposed to sell this ticket?
Lodgebox, it's me, the lottery god.
Oh, what are you saying?
Take that deal.
Take that deal.
It's me, Lonnie, the lottery god.
Are they talking to you?
Yeah, the lottery gods are talking to me.
It's me, Lonnie, the lottery god.
He's going through puberty or something.
He was really low and he got really high.
Lunchbox needed an answer.
All right.
Okay, here we go.
He passed up 50 bucks.
He's 10 in.
All right, scratch your third one.
All right, number eight again.
$5.
Okay.
Two are left, and they're right next door to each other.
They're next door neighbors on the bottom row.
So 15 bucks.
Right now, lunchbox, I'll give you $30.
for that ticket.
No.
I can't do 30.
I can do 75.
30.
That would be $5.
You're going up in money
for less of a shot.
Whoa, whoa, whoa.
I don't want to,
I'm not moving off 30.
Go ahead.
If you take $30,
that's $5 more
than what you think you're going to get.
Oh my God.
Deal is closed.
What's that one?
$5.
See?
The last one could be a million,
though.
It could be.
What's the last one?
I haven't done it yet.
I'm just not ready.
Okay, what would you sell it for right now?
You've made 20 bucks.
Have I made 20?
Is it five times more?
Okay.
What would you sell that for?
35.
Pass.
All right.
You had a chance of 50.
I had a chance of 50.
Yeah.
Scratch out the final ticket.
You already know?
Yes.
What is it?
Five times.
He had everything going your way.
I mean, it was the hot.
highest of highs and now it's like down in the dumps.
It's like you're so excited.
You see the finish line and you trip and fall and you get second place.
So.
I don't remember second place.
Everybody was cheering for the million.
I mean, they were so invested and now they're all disappointed.
He sounds tired, sad.
Yeah.
He's tired sad right now.
I mean, think about it.
He just lost his shot at being rich and famous.
You know?
I could have 50 bucks and Amy is like, that's a dumb idea.
I thought it was.
given the opportunity you had.
Then Lonnie, the lottery.
God told me.
He did.
Lonnie said to do it.
He did tell me to do it.
Okay.
You idiot.
Did you guys hear Lonnie?
Well, I didn't hear that.
No, I thought I heard something.
I thought I heard the lottery God.
Okay.
Now it's my fault.
Well,
it's the one is, isn't it?
No.
Did you say, no, don't take it?
No.
You got to find.
Anyway, lunchbox.
You won $25 from this box.
Congratulations.
It's great, dude.
It's like bad popcorn in a microwave way
where it's not all popping.
Anything you'd like to say, lunch, parks?
I'd like to say thank you to Joe in Rome.
I think the name was Joe in Rome, Georgia.
I mean, that was pretty cool thing that you did.
I wish would you set me a better lottery ticket,
but $25 by the time I don't even know how I'm going to do it.
But hey, whatever.
I made $25.
Thank you.
It was a lot of fun.
I thought the balloon was going to nowhere
and no one was ever going to find it.
And to get kind of jokes funny.
But I got a lottery ticket.
I had a chance for a million dollars.
And whenever you get a scratch off, you always have a chance.
And that's the excitement.
But when you start scratching, you could be super wealthy.
And right now I'm not.
Did you think you were going to be super wealthy when you hit those numbers?
Oh, my God.
I thought I had a big ticket.
I thought I had a big ticket.
Yeah.
And it's just a...
All right.
There he is, everybody.
All right.
Your friend of mine, lunchbox.
$25, Richard.
We'll come right back.

Mike in Florida is on the show right now
called in to say what's up
Hey Mike
I'm in studio
Hey man
I love your show every morning
It was a great segment
It was fun
But I was wondering
If it was a Georgia lottery ticket
That's a good question
He did send it from Georgia
The lottery ticket is from what state lunchbox
When you look at it
It's actually from the state of Florida.
Oh, Florida, Georgia, Lent.
So how do you get the money back from that?
To redeem, you can place your full name on the back of the ticket and mail it in.
I hope.
Is that what you're going to do?
I'm going to call this number 850-48777-77.
That might be if you have a gambling problem.
No, that's the lottery headquarters in Tallahassee, Florida.
Okay.
There you go.
We hit them up, get your $25.
That's a good question.
Mike.
We didn't realize that yet.
Yeah, it was just a wonder if he was going to have to go on a trip
I wonder if anyone listening right now
We have 10 minutes or so in this segment
If anyone listening has one big on a scratch off
I'm talking about over $100,000
If so, call us
877-77 Bobby
I say that because
Oh, maybe we don't have 10 minutes
I say that because
It was one number
Did you was it a
you adding up four or five wins?
Yeah, it's a good question.
How does it look when you win the big one?
I wish I could remember the story of a girl.
I ran into her.
It was early on when I started the show with you.
Like 2006, ran into her at H-EB.
I'd played softball with her as a kid.
And somehow, I think she listened to the show
and we had been talking about the lottery
or maybe lunchbox.
And she was like, oh, yeah, we won a million dollars.
And I'm pretty sure it was on a scratch-off.
Yeah, and I think she had it stapled.
She had it taped to her chest
because she had just won that morning.
Yeah.
I think we ended up getting around the show or something, right?
That was so long ago.
I know.
I tried to remember the details, but it was a pretty amazing story.
Carol in Ohio, you're on the show.
Hey, Carol, what's happening?
Hi.
Hey, how is everybody?
We're doing pretty good.
I had an idea for his $25 winnings.
Why not just parlay that into more lottery tickets?
And maybe you could win the million dollars.
Oh, no doubt.
There's no doubt about it.
I mean, I will buy more lottery tickets.
I mean, I just have to get this $25 first.
Are you going to mail it today?
Yeah, I'll mail it today.
I mean, you can't let money sit around, guys.
Yeah, quiet money don't make money.
Lazy money doesn't make money.
There you go.
Carol, that's good.
Thank you very much.
All right, have a good day.
All right, bye-bye.
Let's go to Brenda in Wichita, Kansas.
Who's on the phone?
Hey, Brenda, how are you?
Hi, good morning.
Good morning, see you.
Morning.
I have an interesting balloon story.
So when I was a sixth grader and,
Oklahoma, I attended Marlon Elementary School at South of Lanka City, a very small school.
But for Stateshood Day, Oklahoma is 75th Statehood Day, they sent out these balloons
different to all the schools, so they had a little card attached.
That said, we're celebrating our statehood, we put our name on it, what grade we were in,
and if they found the balloon to send it back.
So we released it on November 16th of 1983, and then mine was found on November 17th in Ridgeway,
Illinois. That balloon traveled 525 miles. A farmer named Frank Williams and his wife found it in his
fence post. And so from that developed a very long relationship with them of writing letters,
birthday cards, Christmas cards. They sent me a gift for my high school graduation. And then when I
got married, they sent me a wedding gift too. Wow. That's crazy. If only you'd have been a
single adult and he was a single adult. They're in a lifetime movie. Floating into love or something.
You know, they fall in love from a balloon, a note. Yeah, except she was a kid and he was an old man.
But other than that, that was awesome. That's a great story. We appreciate that. Thank you for the call, Brenda.
All right, thank you. See you later. You want to hear from a couple winterish people?
Yeah. I mean, you're going to kick me while I'm down. For example, this is Veronica in North Carolina, whose son won.
Your son went a scratch off, Veronica?
He did. He won a million dollars. And, you know, he won a million dollars. And
2017, and it was a ticket that he won a ticket that he redeemed as a free ticket, and it was the free ticket that he won the million dollars off of.
So was that million dollar winner a scratcher?
Yeah, it was a scrapper. So he bought a scrap-off, and then he won a free ticket. He redeemed the free ticket, and it was a free ticket that had the million-dollar win.
And how did that go with him? Was it one number that hit the million? Was there like five?
for $2,000 for $250,000?
It was the kind where you scratched it and it said if the symbol has a million under it, then you win.
So it was a symbol of, I think, a watermelon or something.
And it under the watermelon, it had one M-I-L.
There had to be many minutes after that where he's going, this can't be real.
Or it's like, what does that mean, right?
Oh, yeah.
It was several minutes because he and my oldest son called me and my,
I think you need to see this.
I think Cameron just won a million dollars.
And I'm like, oh, y'all just kidding, you know, because they're always joking.
And when they got to me, I saw the ticket.
I was like, oh, absolutely not.
This is real.
Cameron, you want, he was only 22.
Oh.
Oh.
So how much of that million did he get to keep after taxes, after whatever fees he had to pay, etc?
So because I'm an accountant, I made him get it taxed at the highest rate.
So he actually came out of it with $660,000.
So, and then, of course, we invested it.
So he's doing pretty good now.
He's done well.
He's done well.
He spent a lot of it on, you know, crazy stuff.
But for a 22-year-old at the time, I think he did well.
Dang.
What was his biggest purchase he made with winning $660,000?
Believe it or not, the biggest purchase he made was his car.
and I think his car at the time he had everything you can imagine put into it he bought a um
I think it was a Lexus at the time I heard that and he paid like $60,000 for it and he kept and
most of it he kept and invested later or what yeah so he let me manage it for the most part
he let me manage it and so I just I just invested it for him and now he's
He's got a dividend that comes to him every month.
He still works, but he's got a dividend that comes to him every month
because I told him he wanted to save up for the 60-year-old Cameron
and not, you know, spend it all.
Yeah.
Did you get any of the money?
Or is he, like, do you invest in it or you're helping him,
you're his mom?
Like, do you get anything?
Yeah, what he did was for the whole family.
He paid off, like, our cars.
Like, I had maybe $13,000 left on my car.
so he paid off.
He paid off his dad's car, which was like $6,000.
He gave his brother and sister each $5,000 just so that they could have to spend.
But he didn't do anything crazy, which is a blessing.
But he did spend some that was kind of, you know, I wouldn't have done it.
Well, I think some credit needs to be given to you for being a good mom that raised him to know
not just run out and piss away all your money on video games.
and, you know,
candy,
like he's eight.
Ice cream.
He's salty too.
Cheesepuffs.
I appreciate that.
Yeah, he did.
He was only 22,
so I thought that he did a good job.
What a story.
Well, thank you for your call, Veronica.
I appreciate you listening.
And I love you guys.
I love you guys.
I listen to you every single day,
and I used to joke to say
that I was the only black woman
in North Carolina
that was a country music fan,
but I found that there are more.
So I just, I love you guys,
and I appreciate everything that you guys do.
Well, Veronica, we appreciate you too for listening and for calling.
Hope you have a great day.
You too.
Bye-bye.
All right.
Bye-bye.
What a good call, huh?
Love it.
That's awesome, man.
Elon Musk lost the title of world's wealthiest when Tesla's stock fell 13%.
Within 48 hours, he lost $30 billion.
Whoa.
Two days.
Why did it drop?
Same reason stocks go up and down.
Oh, okay.
Just, yeah, there was something that crazy.
Amazon founder Jeff Bezos returned to the top with an estimated $187 billion in wealth.
Elon Musk dropped back to number two.
He's only worth $180 billion.
Think about that.
Not $180,000,000, $180,000.
I don't think people realize how big of the number that is.
So a billion is if you have a million dollars 1,000 times.
Right.
That's one billion.
You have $180,000 million.
It's a lot.
It's just.
currency doesn't exist to you anymore because you don't need it because you have so much just wealth.
You just point and you have.
The weird thing is,
it doesn't matter how rich you are, he still die.
It's true.
You know, that's the weird thing to me.
Like, these guys got billions of dollars, and if they get sick enough, they still go just like we do.
Remember that saying?
It would say, like, he who dies with most toys still dies.
I think they have, like, bumper stickers of those.
Well, he lost $30 billion in a night.
I'm sure he's okay.
So he's sitting over there on his 180 billion crying.
That's what's up.
Bill Gates, by the way, is third and only has $135 billion.
Only.
But he's giving away so much money.
That's the difference in Bill Gates and the other two guys.
He's giving away billions and billions and billions.
So that's not a clue.
He's a little asterisk.
Like, I probably would have way more than this.
I don't think he cares at this point.
Tomorrow, we're bringing in those four people that I found on TikTok
and they're all going to play a little bit.
We'll see which of the country stars from TikTok are,
actually good and which are actually great.
See how I didn't go bad.
You thought it was going the other way.
All right. See you guys tomorrow.
All right.
