Starting point is 00:02:19 Oh wow It's back Yeah I don't have a spot to get to edit in the show this morning That's a lot of 61 pounds? It's a person. Yeah. That's like Stevenson on your back.
Starting point is 00:02:34 That's what a 68-year-old man. Oh my gosh, I'm looking at a picture. Known as Mr. Tang has been here before the 30 years as carrying around this 61-pound tumor. Oh, wow. He's tried to have it removed. They haven't been able to. They refused the operation because of all the risks. Finally, a doctor agreed he went under the knife.
Starting point is 00:02:50 33-hour operation. Major blood loss, critical condition numerous times. The procedure was a success. The hospital revealed the growth was caused by a genetic condition called neurofibromatosis. It took 100 surgeons, 33 hours. He took turns. He said to be recovering peacefully.
Starting point is 00:03:07 Isn't that wild? Wow. You looking at it? I don't like looking at it. Yeah, you don't look at it. It's an external tumor. You don't like looking at it, but have you seen it? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:18 Quickly. I went like this. Oh, okay. I can't look at it. A couple friends like to show me their injuries. They're like, check this out. I don't like looking at injuries. I don't like watching sports where they show injuries.
Starting point is 00:03:28 They start replaying stuff back. I turn my head. Don't watch that crap. I have a friend who wrecked on one of those bird scooters, and she was putting it up on her answer story, and her leg is eat up. Oh, should break it? No.
Starting point is 00:03:42 It's like, it's like, skinned it all the way down. Oh, wow. And it's so gross. And I was like, I don't want to see that. Nobody wants to see that. Maybe one, but she was doing like a literal story. Lunchbox likes to see stuff like that. You do?
Starting point is 00:03:57 You like injuries? No, I mean, I'm, I want to see. Watch them just, but it, no, I don't like it, but I do watch them because I need to know what it feels like. But you don't know what it feels like. But. You want to know what it looks like. Yeah. Like, oh, man, it's pretty bad.
Starting point is 00:04:11 Some of those just turn your stomach and you just, ugh. But then you watch it again to make sure you saw Engels. I don't watch it again. There's this professor who was, his kids were making drugs. You guys see it? Like the new Breaking Bad? Yeah. Chemists?
Starting point is 00:04:23 Did anybody see this in the news? Yes. Where he was, he, now they said all were disposed. that they didn't find any like on the market, but he's facing 10 years on prison after getting students to produce ecstasy. Oh. He got him to make MDMA
Starting point is 00:04:36 and 5FQUPIC. He claimed he was furthering education of pharmaceutical. I'm not even sure he's wrong, by the way. Right. If they can't find any on the market. The ecstasy allegedly produced has not been found and has been properly discarded. But you can't make it.
Starting point is 00:04:53 You can't... Like he made an assignment out of this? Yeah, they didn't. Right. He was... Well, I didn't know. was he, like, he was having them help him do the dirty work. Well, it says they never found that any of it out there.
Starting point is 00:05:07 Oh, okay. Right. Right. Yeah, there was none. Like, that's why it's not. They can't find any in his apartment or house or whatever. Yeah, because he sold it. Well, they would find it on the market.
Starting point is 00:05:16 They would find something. They'd find it. It's in the dark market, the dark. It's already been consumed. That dark web, you know, we talk about the dark web. That's how you find a hit man, by the way. Yeah. I Googled it.
Starting point is 00:05:28 Don't do that. And sometimes, like, I'll do these lifelike spots. And because the dark web, you don't, I ask Mike D. Is that a real thing? Well, Mike D, we hop off over on a microphone. Mike D writes a bunch of our games on the show and, like, find some stories we talk about sometimes. And I'll ask him because Mike D is a kind of techy, nerdy guy. And it's kind of goth at the same time.
Starting point is 00:05:46 They're not goss, too. Punk got into anything. Punk got a lot of black. Yeah, and you dye your hair like different colors. You're definitely punk-ish, but a little bit sometimes you come on, all your, black looks gothy. Hmm. Interesting. That's a lot of black.
Starting point is 00:06:02 It's black on black. He looks down. He's wearing black. Like right now you're literally wearing all black and your hair's a little bit purple. Yeah. So. Okay. Godth is different though. Yes. But still, you are so much black. It could be. Some people that don't know the difference like myself fully would think, oh, he's kind of goth. Would you think he was goth?
Starting point is 00:06:18 I think he's goth for sure. I don't know what else you would call him. Punk? I say punk. I think punk and goth are the exact same thing. I think a lot of people think there's a similarity though because we're not in the scene like you are. Okay. So, but that.
Starting point is 00:06:30 Mike's so offended right now. I'm very offended. Goth is an offshoot of the punk rock genre. So that's the exact same. So shut your face. Yeah, got to go to that. Got me what I am. So, okay, so this dark web, I asked Mike D once.
Starting point is 00:06:43 I said, hey, should I get on that? Like, what's over there? Can I meet people? And he was like, you do not want to get on the dark web. He's been? Have you been over there? I haven't been to the dark web, but I've, like, seen screenshots of the dark web because I'm too afraid to go to the dark web.
Starting point is 00:06:56 Like, how do you get there? What do you know about the dark web? Because I know that people like sell stuff, drugs, the identities. Yeah, I've seen threads. It's basically like a big message board. And you see like links to like guns and all this crazy stuff. Like illegal porn. Like anything bad.
Starting point is 00:07:15 Anything bad. I don't want to be there. But it looks like a really old website. It looks like Reddit. Like a bad version of Reddit. Yeah. Like a message board from like the early 2000s. And you get there through a link that someone sends you.
Starting point is 00:07:26 I don't even know. You have to like get on a server. is server. Can anyone get on the dark web from their computer? I don't think so. But yeah, it's where you buy bad stuff. That's weird. We all live in this like regular web, the worldwide web, and then underneath it, there's a dark web. That's crazy to me. I would just say, I would, I would compare it to, this is a probably a bad analogy. A lot of my life when I grew up, I did not live in a good part of town. And people did not come over my part of town. Sometimes didn't even know my part of town existed. And if you came to my part of town and you were there
Starting point is 00:07:55 at the wrong part of town and the wrong part of time, it wasn't a good scenario for you to be in. Now, some people didn't even know. Some people knew and just didn't go. Some people knew and went. Not that many. Yeah. Unless you had business to do there.
Starting point is 00:08:08 I would compare it to like a bad part of town. Okay. A real bad part of town. Man. So is anyone going to go? Amy's actually on there right now. You're on the dark web, Amy? Eddie, can I see your computer open?
Starting point is 00:08:19 Nope. Time in dark web.com. Yeah, so it's going to do it. See what happens. No, surely you have to like go in some back way. try it. That's always my goal. Okay.
Starting point is 00:08:30 I don't get it. It's funny though. In our lifetime men's shoes, while I sell women's shoes. I read that story. That's weird. I don't feel like it. I feel like of everyone on this show,
Starting point is 00:08:39 I am the biggest shoe person and I'm a dude. And I know I'm an outlier a bit. Yeah, because your shoes are your thing. But I know a lot of dudes who are obsessed with shoes. I know a lot of girls that are obsessed with shoes. And they have been for a long time, yes. But still, it's not. But industry experts are saying that,
Starting point is 00:08:55 men's shoes are, it's moving so fast. Wow. For decades, women's shoes have been the top seller on the market because of all the different types, but they're making so many for guys now too. The surgeon cell is coming from guys who are influenced by social media and by all the different kinds of shoes. There's a picture on my Instagram of me backstage in American Idol getting ready, and I'm in white jeans, and I make a joke about white jeans.
Starting point is 00:09:15 I feel like if I make a joke about them, anybody else makes a joke later, yeah, suck it, you know? But there's a pair of tennis shoes in the very back corner, and it's a pair of Jordans. And the keys player for low cash comments on mine and goes, no, it's exactly like every, he was like, look at those, Jordan Zig Zig Zig Zig, Zig. He was like, that's crazy. Low-key hiding him in the corner of the, and I didn't, but he could identify him just by the back of the shoe. It was crazy.
Starting point is 00:09:43 Anyway, I do love shoes. Yeah, and those Lo-Cash dudes, they love shoes. Yeah, Lo-Cash. We gift shoes. There's a little group of us that gift shoes to each other. Yeah, Cole Swindell, he's always given you shoes. T.R. T.R.
Starting point is 00:09:56 Thomas Rett. He loves shoes. Yeah. I just call him T. Sure. But do you know his name is not... It's Thomas Rett. It's not Thomas.
Starting point is 00:10:05 Right. It is Thomas Rett. No, it's Thomas Rett. Yes. That's what... So that's his name name. Because his last name is Aiken's. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:14 What? Because Red Aiken's... So what's his middle name? Rett. Well, Thomas Rett. Oh, I see what you're saying. It'd be like Amy Jo. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:21 If I went by... Or, like, some people go, but Peggy Sue. Right. Billy Bob. But he just used that as his full name. I got it. That's interesting. It's his...
Starting point is 00:10:31 He's a big shoe guy. There are a lot of shoe people. Right now, I'm a bit... I have fallen in and out of flavor with shoes. What are you into right now? What do you mean? Well, my favorite shoe right now. What do I have on now?
Starting point is 00:10:45 Oh, Nike. Air Nike. Well, no, not like... These are like the moon shoes. Air Max. But no, I like the old Air Max. What do you have on a night? I like some old airmax.
Starting point is 00:10:53 I don't have... I don't have the air. I do have the ones you gifted me. Yeah. I really like the old retro air maxes. Yeah. That they're making again. I was like super pumped about some Nikes I bought the other day because I thought Bobby
Starting point is 00:11:05 would be super. I was like, I do like them. I almost bought them. I know. I know. I almost bought them. I know. Those are air max.
Starting point is 00:11:11 I thought I was like going to be showing Bobby some new shoe. And he's like, oh yeah. Dada da, da. Almost bought those. And I'm like. They're fantastic. I love them. I remember them.
Starting point is 00:11:20 Yeah. Oh, you didn't buy them though, did you? I did. Yeah. I sent you. I was walking in them because they were, and I felt really, they're very bright. Yeah. But I thought of you for sure.
Starting point is 00:11:28 I mean, for me right now, because my back is so bad, I mean, I used to love like boots with heels and heels and different things. But if I wear those too long, my back really starts to hurt. And I love that sneakers are so, like, cool and in right now because you can, like, pair it with a cute outfit and still feel like something you would wear cute boots with, but you can wear sneakers and it's acceptable. Yeah, they're definitely fashionable. They're totally fashionable right now.
Starting point is 00:11:52 I'm on that train. I have shoes that I have yet to bust out. Oh. Just on the box? I'm not the box collector. Like people keep them like so they can out of reselling them. But I mean, you just haven't worn them. Yeah, like I have a pair of Airmacs that are leopard skin, leopard print.
Starting point is 00:12:06 Yeah, you should wear those. I like them. Love them. I haven't put them on yet. Why you laugh at? Because I mean, that's the girls like leopard print. You're a dude. I know.
Starting point is 00:12:14 Yeah, it's like Cheetah. They're like Cheetah. It's like Cheetah. It's like a lot of those. But I have some of the, I have a lot of those. Are they cool? Do you like them? Do you?
Starting point is 00:12:23 He don't even know. He didn't wear them. No, they're cute. Are you trying to like, like, get, like. You don't just wear them for no reason. Oh, okay. You're waiting for the right time. Or the right outfit, obviously.
Starting point is 00:12:32 The leopard jacket. No, you don't want to match match. Oh, no. Like, yeah, yeah. Like, today I have came on twice and I probably shouldn't. Oh, the hat and the pants? Yeah. You probably shouldn't.
Starting point is 00:12:42 It's okay, but it's all right. Unless it's just, you shouldn't. But, whatever. That's my shirt's cute, though. Like Amy's wearing white on white on white today. Well, my nails and my Yeti and my Birkenstocks. There you go. I'm very into white right now.
Starting point is 00:12:56 I had to do my allergy pill yesterday where they had to watch me and is weird. How many people watched you? 11. They just sat around with clipboards and noted all my moves. No, one nurse comes in and gives me blood pressure. He goes, okay, you're going to take this pill to sublingual. We put it under your tongue. And this is for bed mites or something.
Starting point is 00:13:16 My worst allergy of everything I'm allergic to was whatever, those dust mites. Dust mites. Like, I blew up when that thing got me. Like, my whole body blew up. And so this one specifically for that. And so I did it. And they said, okay, you're going to be okay, we think. And then they said, you should go pick up your prescription at the store.
Starting point is 00:13:35 And then get an EpiPen too because we're still not totally sure because you need to do it more than once. And so take it and get an epipot. So I go get my prescription. I take it. And then I wait from Epipen. They're like, oh, we don't have an EpiPen. And so I'm sitting there just praying to God I don't blow up because I don't have Epipen. But apparently you just stick it on your leg.
Starting point is 00:13:51 Yeah. It just shoot you in the leg? You should buy one and keep one in the studio and designate me to stab you with it if you need it. Well, that was a thing. Me? Who would you trust to stick you? Guys, I don't care. Guys, it doesn't matter.
Starting point is 00:14:03 I'll save it life. I've done it before. I know how to do it. You should trust me. I almost have to my wife, so. Amy is on my, if I die, if I'm like, have to make the decision. No, if you're brain dead. Yeah, make the decision to pull the plug or not.
Starting point is 00:14:15 It's Amy and Max girlfriend, Lindsay. Oh, are you going to keep it that way? You might want to take her off. I'm fine with it because I trust her. but I just don't know that it's smart to have an X. Amy and the X? Well, I made it when we were together. Oh, my goodness.
Starting point is 00:14:31 I know. And I show one. Wait a minute. Listen, I just want to make sure whoever, I feel like Lindsay and I, if you want to keep her, that's fine because I feel like we can make a good, solid joint decision. But if you're going to have a joint somebody with me, I need to make sure that we're not going to end up in some dispute. Panty fight. What?
Starting point is 00:14:49 Panty fight. Is that like your. Find your underwear? That'd be cool. I'm making a joke. Relax. Then we're joking. Relax.
Starting point is 00:14:56 Get it. So, I don't know. I just don't want it to be a thing where it's like, I'm like, keep him alive and she's like, kill it. Oh, right. And I'm like, don't pull the plug. And she's like, ball the plug. And then, and then did you ever discuss, do we know who's like the beneficiary of your things? Well, we know that you're in it.
Starting point is 00:15:15 No. I don't know. I will. Yeah. Okay, guys, I'm yawed it. So it's about to end. Well, no. Because he just yon.
Starting point is 00:15:21 When I hit the wall. But I mean, listen. This is a real thing because that's another thing that causes like a big fight. Okay, well, let me speak on this. Yes, tell us how it's divided. Well, first of all, I'm going to leave her on until there's somebody new. Could you need two people to pick your death? Right, but why don't you just make it Eddie?
Starting point is 00:15:40 Like Eddie and I can handle it. I have no love interest in you. Then it's not like a right. But here's the thing, and I feel stupid saying this now, you shouldn't leave anything for the person that decides that. Like, if it's me, great point. Don't leave me your house. Right, you know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:15:55 Or else I'd say, like, pull the plug, guys. He just doesn't look good. They're like, he just has a sore throat. Wait, maybe you shouldn't pick Eddie. Mr. Eddie, he's got tonsillitis and he's asleep. No, no, pull the plug. He told me personally. You guys weren't there, but he said, if that happens to me,
Starting point is 00:16:10 pull the plug. No, he's just taking a nap, dude. He's not even at the hospital. Don't risk it. Stab him. Kill him. Well, for now. I'm not going to change it for now.
Starting point is 00:16:22 Yeah, that's fine because we trust Lindsay, so it's fine. But eventually. Yeah, yeah, eventually I'll have to. It'd be weird if I'm having a new girlfriend. She's like, so, well, what's it? And we're just having pillow talking. It's like, so death, huh? So if I'm, I will have changed.
Starting point is 00:16:37 And then the will, I never told anybody. I'm not telling anyone who gets what. I've never said. Yeah, you're right. You haven't. Never. But nobody wants it to be a thing. I guess I was just curious if you had it sorted out.
Starting point is 00:16:47 And I hope it's like Arkansas, Keith. What if I die, right? And the guy's like, all right. And he pulls it up and he goes, wow, why we left everything in Borgon number two? We wouldn't be shocked. I'm talking to be like, okay. I told you. I knew it.
Starting point is 00:17:06 I knew it. I told it. Is she really in there? Because if she's in there, I might as well quit. I think he made the well before she even started working on the show, right? Or before they started getting close. We have a high out of a while I hope we woke over to you.
Starting point is 00:17:21 Oh, weeks actually. You're busy, busy. Well, yeah, why don't you invite them over and cook them dinner in your new place? Yeah. That's kind of rude to you not to it. Have you cooked dinner? I just cooked my first dinner last night. And I didn't invite it or what?
Starting point is 00:17:33 I was by myself. Exactly. What's your point? Exactly. Just a bunch of exactness. That's what he says. That's what I said is. Bingo.
Starting point is 00:17:44 Amen. Wait, we're not saying anything. Yeah, exactly. I told you. All right. We're done. All right. I have a meeting I have to go to.
Starting point is 00:17:54 If you have anything else, you need to say, go ahead. I guess not. I'm just having fun talking to y'all, but whatever. You want to go? Well, he's got a meeting. He's got business things. I do have a lot of business to go do. All right.
Starting point is 00:18:06 I do, too. I have a list right here are things I need to do here. Let me see. Bobo. Oh, these are stuff I'm working on for podcast. I need Bobo, too. Carlin Marie. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:14 Bobo, he's going to talk about intermittent fasting. Oh, on your podcast. Yeah, which is really interesting to me. I did that for a while. When I was losing weight for something quickly. I needed it quick. He goes 16 hours, no food. So if he consumes food, it's only in that eight-hour window.
Starting point is 00:18:35 But in the eight hours is only chocolate? Like, it's pie. Nah. All right. What's on your list over there? I got to meet with Gator. Our station PD. It's like all of Amy's people sound like literal clowns.
Starting point is 00:18:47 I got a meeting with Bobo. I got a meeting with Gator. I got a meeting with Fluffy. I got a meeting with Tutu. I mean, Mozo's at three. I love how Bobby's, like, things to do are probably, like, really neatly in his calendar and organized. I'm like, what piece of paper did I write down my things?
Starting point is 00:19:05 Yeah. I write down on paper, too, and my wife gets so mad at me. And then I will definitely throw this away before I leave and forget everything that's on here. I have a call. Yeah, I have this meeting in like six minutes. What is your meeting about? He says, mm-mm. Okay, cool.
Starting point is 00:19:21 He's not going to tell you. I'm not even doing a bit on it. Nope. Nope. Okay. I got a call. That means he's getting rid of somebody. A 2 o'clock call. Eddie's got a game tonight.
Starting point is 00:19:33 Yeah, I'll be there. Kids are coming, Eddie. Don't be nervous. If I box, Morgan number two, do you want a box today? No, my girlfriend's coming into town. I have to pick her up from the airport. There you have it. Always the bride.
Starting point is 00:19:43 Dang, you don't have time for him anymore or what? No, it's every, our schedule. You don't want to hang out with Bobby anymore. All of a sudden she gets a house. I'm not even staying over anymore. I have a friend in town. I can't like reschedule that. All right.
Starting point is 00:19:55 We have to go. Amy, anything you like to say? Amy's got a new episode of our podcast up today called Four Things with Amy Brown. You can check out the Soar Losers podcast today with Lunchbox Eddie and Ray Mundo. They'll be talking about the biggest sore spots on their body, right? Is that what that's about? No, no, no. Yeah, for sure.
Starting point is 00:20:11 About sores? No sports. Your favorite sores over the years? Sore. Sore. That's funny. Disgusting podcast that would be. Well, back in 97, I had a sore,
Starting point is 00:20:22 had an anal fissure I'd like to speak about here. Ew, what? What is that? You ever watch the office episode where they're doing the health insurance? And Dwight's like, all right, list everything you have wrong with you. And not, or whatever, and they all list it. And they're not supposed to, but he reads it all bad. Because, okay, I think some of you are kidding about your illnesses,
Starting point is 00:20:44 and he's reading like some crazy. And then he goes, anal fissure. a joke, that's not real. And like, she goes, she goes, that's me. I don't think I've seen that one yet. Yeah. That's early. Yeah, I think you passed those.
Starting point is 00:20:58 Anytime I referenced something, she never came to me. I don't think Amy really watches all this. Yes, I do. I'm able to tell y'all once that I remember. One time she saw a whole movie and she was like, I don't remember what it was about. Well, I wasn't really watching it. I put stuff on. I just get distracted, okay, rude.
Starting point is 00:21:15 She's like drawing on a cup and not focusing. I have to wave her off of her computer at least four times a day. That's just reflex. She's just doing her job, which is talking on the air. She is also like shopping or something all the time. So I'm always like, hey, heads up. Yeah, I've noticed that. Fine.
Starting point is 00:21:33 Fire me. Just kidding. Well, I have a meeting in about five minutes. That's why I said that because I don't know what this meeting is about. Maybe lunchbox said he's letting someone go and I'm like, you know what, if I beat him to the punch. Kind of like Bobby with his white pants. If he says it first, it doesn't matter.
Starting point is 00:21:50 Did you watch 8 Mile yet? Not yet. Not yet. No, no, no. All right. Away we go. Here's today's show. If I don't, we don't do it today.
Starting point is 00:21:56 I'll do it tomorrow. A couple podcasts on the Bobbycast. I'm going to do a whole one about comedy music, which is kind of fun to look back at from Steve Martin to Adam Sandler to. We're putting out a record, The Raging Idiots. But then Mike D. He interviews Lil Dickie as well. So it's a whole one coming up.
Starting point is 00:22:12 Is he a comedian? No, he's like a hip-hop comedy. You would know. I don't know Little Dickie. He has one. You probably know once on it was real big. With Chris Brown, when they like switch bodies, Freaky Friday. No?
Starting point is 00:22:30 I've never heard of him. Whatever. Morgan number two, you know it, right? Yes, I do. That's cool kids, no. That's the young ones. Do you guys talk about that over dinner sometime? No, because you won't have me over.
Starting point is 00:22:40 I would. We'd be the first topic. Exactly. Pillow. Amen. Bingo. All right. That's what I said.

Starting point is 00:25:52 Folks, it's your buddy and mine Mr. Bobby Bones Let me go This is the Bobby Bones show That's right Now, here he is. Turn it up. Hey, welcome to Thursday show.
Starting point is 00:26:08 Appreciate you. Morning studio. Morning. Hey, let me go over and talk to This Lee in West Virginia Hello Hello Hello
Starting point is 00:26:21 Lee Can you hear me Yes Can you hear me Are you in the mountains In West Virginia I am in the mountains Yeah I figure
Starting point is 00:26:31 What I figure What's going on Oh nothing much I am driving home from work I just had an overnight And I'm exhausted But you're keeping me up Oh thanks
Starting point is 00:26:40 What kind of job you have I'm a sign language interpreter Wow And so you did it overnight Who are you interpreting for in the wee hours? Yes, well, it's a hospital shift. Okay.
Starting point is 00:26:52 Wow, look at you. Let me tell you what I saw on TV the night, late at night. I was watching it, and the most beautiful women want you to call them late at night, Amy. Of course they do. Because I was doing American Idol last weekend I would get in late, and they'd be like, hey, will you just call me? It was like a phone number you call, and you just talk to them. They look so pretty, too.
Starting point is 00:27:10 And I was like, I can just call them and talk. I didn't. Oh. Yeah, because it's probably not really them. I don't know I was on TV I think I was watching
Starting point is 00:27:20 I was watching Martin on BET Interesting Yeah yeah And then in the middle The commercial They'd be like Hey I'm Cynthia
Starting point is 00:27:27 And I haven't had a man In a long time She was hot And she was like Just call me right now I'm sitting by the phone waiting Like three of them in a row And that's what I was doing
Starting point is 00:27:36 While she was doing something good Like a sign language interpreting Rightly You're a good ag I feel Well is there anything you'd like to say I just wanted to say I have a really tight group of friends and it's that you know unkindish love crazy humor ride or die and I listen to you guys every day and you remind me so much of my group of friends and I feel like I get to like hang out with them every
Starting point is 00:28:03 morning and I just think that it's spectacular that you guys create this space that everybody can kind of come share and I think that that's so often. That's very kind of you. And thank you for listening, and I hope you get back home all right. And yeah, thanks for calling the show. Have a good day, all right? You too. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:28:22 All right. See you later. I want to read you this quote. You're ready for the quote of the morning? Ready. I like this one too. Carry out a random act of kindness with no expectation of reward, safe in the knowledge that one day someone might do the same for you. That was said by Princess Diana.
Starting point is 00:28:37 Let me tell you. This is why I think about this. Well, lunchbox always wants credit, right? Yeah. Think of all the people that have done something for you, and you have no idea. You have no idea. If someone were to see a nail behind your tire and just go, oh, I should pick that up for the random guy that I don't know so he doesn't back over it. I've done that for someone.
Starting point is 00:28:54 I didn't get credit. I didn't even know. But that's the point of all of this is that it's not just about being rewarded for doing something because people are probably doing things for you, and you have no idea. You would have no idea. And that's what she was saying here, is that you should go. You should just be good to others because others are probably being good to you. without you even knowing it. So just make it all right with the world.
Starting point is 00:29:17 I do my best. Like when I'm walking the dog, if I see a nail on the road, I'll pick it up. And I'll, you know, just throwing someone's yard. Right back to the nail on the road. And you can't put in your pocket
Starting point is 00:29:25 and take it home and throw it in the yard so someone's stuck on it. I'm worried that I may get stuck in the leg so I just toss it on their front porch or something. All right. Well, there you have it. Anyway, it's a nice guy.
Starting point is 00:29:38 Are you talking about yourself now? Yeah. Okay. Here's the Bobby Bone Show. podcast highlight segment of the day. A little backstory here is I had a dog for 15 years. Who let the dog sound?
Starting point is 00:29:51 He died last year. It's been about a year and I love dogs so much. Do a lot of work with animal shelters and charities and just love dogs. But I do feel like I would be cheating on my dog still. There's still a little bit of that. But I know that's a dumb to feel. Been looking around. And I've found, though, that whatever kind of dog you want,
Starting point is 00:30:11 there's a rescue for it. Any dog, it doesn't matter. There's a rescue for every kind of dog Sometimes you have to wait But there's a rescue for any kind of dog And so I'm going to ask people What kind of dog should I get And now we'll go around the room
Starting point is 00:30:22 Who has a dog pitch? I do, me, me, me, me. Let's go over to the corner, lunchboxer over there Oh yeah! You're up first, buddy And tell me about the dog You think I should get it. Look, Bobby, I wanted to get a dog
Starting point is 00:30:32 That was like you in personality So I picked the teacup poodle Wow Wow Yeah, very feminine And that is just like you Also, it is one of these smartest dogs in the entire world. The teacup poodle is smart?
Starting point is 00:30:48 Yep. Wow. I know. Small dog, you think small brain, but really, very smart, just like you. Captain of the Quiz Bowl, high school team, when you were in seventh grade. Also, they are loving, loyal, and they have a mischievous personality. They have a fun streak every once in a while, and they love to play, and they like to please. And since they're so small, they're easy to travel with, and they get a lot of attention.
Starting point is 00:31:13 which you do also because you're a celebrity. And girls, stop it. Girls like the teacup poodle, so it's a good conversation starter because they'll come up to you like, oh, is that your teacup poodle? Yeah, and I'm single.
Starting point is 00:31:25 I'm feminine. I have a soft side. I have a teacup poodle. Would you like to go to dinner with me? Oh, wow. You got the whole even thing. I mean, that was a good pitch. Well, here's the thing.
Starting point is 00:31:33 I didn't know they were so smart. Like, I learned something from that. That's cool. Yeah. But what's the struggle for me is, I don't want something that small. Like, that's a little too small. for me. I mean, they have a goofy
Starting point is 00:31:45 street. I know, and a mischievous side too, which is really exciting for someone like myself. So that is why I picked the teacup poodle. And I think you did a great pitch. I'll put it on the list. T-Cat Poodle. All right. Let's go over to our video producer, Eddie. Eddie, what is your puppy pitch? Well, I'm a little discouraged now that you say you don't want anything that small.
Starting point is 00:32:03 It's just, I mean, I would take something smallish. Okay, that's why. What did y'all pick? Like, hamsters. A teacup. That's why I have picked a chihuahua for you. Now listen, hear me out before you shake your head. Chihuahuas. I've had them my whole life. They are adorable. The cutest little puppies you've ever seen in your life bones.
Starting point is 00:32:20 And they're hypoallergenic. So they will, I don't know if they get rid of allergies, but you're not going to be alerted to them. So that's a plus. They'll take my allergies away. Yes, that's what I heard. That's what I read about it. They eat up the allergy. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:32 And they're so loyal. They're guard dogs just with their bark, obviously not with their bite. But, like, if any cars coming down your driveway, they'll alert you right away. There's a car coming. check. My chihuahuas growing up were so smart. Then when we were driving home, they knew exactly when we were driving into our driveway. Their ears were perk up. We're like, we're home.
Starting point is 00:32:52 That's a smart dog, and chicks love chew olives, bones. Do they, though? Yeah. And this isn't much about chicks to me. It's mostly that companion. That's why I left that last. Oh, okay. But sort of it is. You could use your dog to, like, go to the dog park. I'm not going to say no, they like the dog. Yeah. But I can't look for that because, who knows?
Starting point is 00:33:10 I may be married in the year. And did you could take it everywhere. What's a life expectancy? Oh, 10 years, 10 plus. Thank you for your selection of the chihuahua. You're welcome. Don't forget they take your allergies away. It's a little small, but again, I'm going to put both of those into the suggestion box.
Starting point is 00:33:30 Morgan number two, our digital editor, what dog would you like to pitch? I think you should get a cavapoo. No idea what that is. Can you show me a picture of what a cavapoo is? Well, you've seen my dog. Yeah. That's what she is. Just take your dog.
Starting point is 00:33:43 Yes. And she's perfect size. She's about 20 pounds, so she's bigger than a little small animal like Lungebox Nettie suggested. She doesn't shed. And she always attracts people. So not even just females, but males. So you can make friends and potentially girlfriends. A girlfriend and a boyfriend.
Starting point is 00:34:00 She always goes on walks. She'll want to play with you or she'll sleep with me until 2 o'clock in the afternoon if I want to. So she's very versatile. And it's called a what? A cavapoo. have a poo. All right. Oh, and she also travels really well. She travels with me all the time.
Starting point is 00:34:18 I mean, Bobby doesn't want to sleep till two in that afternoon. Yes, I do. I love to sleep. I sleep all day. All day. You got too much work to do. You're always busy. I know, but I'd like to. Amy, so far, like, I've... Out of those three, which one's your favorite? The Tika Poodle! I don't know.
Starting point is 00:34:34 I'm the leader. They're all, to me, very feminine dogs. Oh. Which says a lot about what you guys think of me. Wow. I didn't think. No one has come out and said, you know what? You know what fits you a great dane? Why not? A German chef.
Starting point is 00:34:49 You know what? A super boxer. Not just a boxer, but this one's been bred with a... All right, Amy. Okay. I feel really good about mine. You're the last one up. Okay.
Starting point is 00:34:59 Take a look at your French bulldog. They come in all kinds of colors. And they are so adorable. Solid. I have some Frenchy facts. French bulldogs are incredible. loving, which you need. All these dogs are loving.
Starting point is 00:35:14 Dogs are just loving. Yeah, that's true. They're quiet dogs. They're described as chill buddies, and they are small. You can take them with you. They can live in small spaces. Like, sometimes you have to go to L.A. and live in an apartment. Boom.
Starting point is 00:35:25 No problem. Fritchie fits in an apartment. Easy to groom. Tolerate cold weather. You'll never stop laughing at the presence of your pup. Because, like... The squishy nose. They can't breathe.
Starting point is 00:35:37 Isn't that a health thing? It's fine. You'll be fine. And then, also, if you want to talk about celebrities that have French bulldogs. I don't, though. Michael Phelps. It doesn't get more manlier than an Olympic athlete.
Starting point is 00:35:50 Lady Gaga. I chose not to talk about the celebrities. Dwayne the Rock Johnson. She continues to talk about them. Madonna. Martha Stewart, Reese Witherspoon. And life expectancy, 14 years. I mean, that's solid. French bulldog. What's the difference that in a normal bulldog?
Starting point is 00:36:07 They're smaller. Oh, really? French. They're a much. I don't know. I think that. they came about in the 1800s, but somebody merged like an English bulldog, which is the bigger, cute one, like,
Starting point is 00:36:20 but then the Frenchy one is like smaller. No. I have a creep. Roof, roo. Did I mention the Rock? No more celebrities, okay. Oh, the rock. Well, I mean, so you were worried about cute, but still manly.
Starting point is 00:36:35 Yeah. That's a good looking dog. I mean, oh my gosh, wait for it. Oh. Please get one Let's get Let's get Let's find a
Starting point is 00:36:46 Let's find a bunch of women Oh my Amy's just looking at pictures Right now Entertaining herself Correct That's pretty solid I know
Starting point is 00:36:57 Get a Frenchie My puppy pitch Complete That's pretty solid Well listen I like to thank you all Yeah So which one did you pick Yeah what do you think
Starting point is 00:37:04 Well As of right I'm going to spend a little time Today Looking at the French Bulldog Oh I think that's mostly my style. I'm going to look and see.
Starting point is 00:37:15 We'll see where it goes from there. It was the Frenchy facts. It wasn't. It actually wasn't the French Fries. Thank you all. You know what? Because of all of you, I will take a second and look at all of your dogs. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:37:30 There we go. You know, if you all spent time, it's the least I can do. Thank you for your pitches, though. I'm still a little irritated that the manliest dog was French. And he's still really small. Yeah. Like nobody, nobody thought, hey, why don't you just not get a dog, like a bear? You know, because that would have been like, you're such a man.
Starting point is 00:37:47 Honestly, it's because you want to travel with it. Oh, yeah. Or we would have. That's why I didn't go great name. Yeah. Oh, wow, I'm thinking about that. Because we, I honestly, too, I think we all picture you with a bigger type dog. But yeah, you're sort of this.
Starting point is 00:38:00 We don't. No. I mean, because his last dog was huge, Amy. No, I know that he. My last dog was 30 pounds. Yeah, he couldn't travel with that. But for the new dog, I was picturing you something. and you had mentioned like Lassie and stuff like that, but you just can't.
Starting point is 00:38:14 Coo Joe. It's all movie dogs. There's life on the road. You can't do that. All right. Thank you. I appreciate you all. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:38:21 There's one applause. No way else. No, just me applauding you guys. Thank you very much. Thank you. Thank you very much. You're welcome. The Bobby Bone Show is proud to be supported by Grand Canyon University,

There's an economic component to communities thriving. If there's not enough money and entrepreneurship happening in communities, they fail. Big Three Stories Our producer Raimundo from the glass room with the news, Ramundo, what you got? In New York, a band was arrested for walking into St. Patrick's Cathedral with gas cans and lighter fluid.
Starting point is 00:42:16 Luckily, they got to this guy before he did anything. In recall news, if you've been eating Jensen, tuna, it's been recalled in seven states. Over a dozen people have gotten sick. And finally, another college bribery scandal at Delaware State University, the registrar faces 10 years in prison for accepting more than $70,000 from students, and she would reduce their tuition fees. The Bobby Bone Show.
Starting point is 00:42:36 Some people are paying to watch strangers eat. Why? Because they want to watch people eat really fattening food. Oh, that's a thing. Yeah. Okay. And those eating the food place ads offering to eat or drink pretty much anything in exchange for the cost of the food and a small service fee.
Starting point is 00:42:59 In exchange, the buyer gets to listen to a stranger describe how delicious the meal tastes without consuming the calories themselves and doesn't put them at risk of gaining weight or dealing with any health issues caused by obesity. Oh, wow. The diners photograph the food or take video of it from every possible angle.
Starting point is 00:43:18 They write detailed essays about it, and of course they get graphic while they're actually eating it. People are weird. Yeah. That's just all that is. Not for me. That's interesting. There's nothing dirty about it.
Starting point is 00:43:30 It's not like a thing. But people like... No, but they're... Yeah. I just got some spam, by the way. It says this. It's interesting. Burger King has a surprise for you.
Starting point is 00:43:40 Oh. I wonder what that is. I should click it. No. You shouldn't click it. But I'm telling you, I get the weirdest spam now. I got one just now for a dementia destroyer. I get that...
Starting point is 00:43:50 Is that like a game to help with your brain? What a boring game. Dementia destroyer. Like what a... a bad name for a game. It's like, hey, bomb by bones. Not only I'll play best beans all the time. I'm on level seven of dementia destroyer.
Starting point is 00:44:02 You'd have to name it better than that. But I get the weirdest spam. I'm on some sort of weird spam list. And I got one here. Russian Bride. That's not spam. Don't click that. AC repairs.
Starting point is 00:44:17 But they all look exactly the same. It's weird. And I get those robocalls all the time. I get like seven robocalls a day. Where they call and it's almost your number. She's like one number different. So again, you assume with your cousin. You do that?
Starting point is 00:44:28 Right. And you're like, well, it's close to my number. Yeah, the first three numbers are just like yours. I'm probably related to them. Or it's like someone across the street. They're like, oh, it's me. They got us all. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:44:37 Yeah. And am I calling myself? Right. Somebody has my phone, but I mean, I have it. The Bobby Bones show. All right, on today and country music, this is a good one. The Bobby Bones show. On this day in country music.
Starting point is 00:44:50 1998, 21 years ago, Tim McGraw began a record six week stay at number one of the country chart. Six weeks, which by the way, Luke Holmes just set a record for like the last 10 years with a four-week stay with a beautiful crazy. And that song's huge. But this song was on for six weeks. Three, two, one. Just to see you smile. It was the biggest song in 1998. It also became the longest chart run for any country single in 90s. It was only broken by a song that spent eight weeks at number one. Any guesses? After it. Tim's song? No, just another country song. It's been eight weeks at number one. After 98? Eight weeks? Yeah. It crossed over to pop. Oh.
Starting point is 00:45:38 Us. Us? I swear. John Michael Montgomery? Different version. This is the same band. It crossed over. It was a country song and it crossed over to pop. It was so big. It was a massive pop song, too. When I play it, you're going to be like, I'm an idiot. Lone Star Amissed. Yeah. I'm so in love with you. But on this day in 1998, Just to see. Tim McGraw began a six-week stay at number one with the song.
Starting point is 00:46:06 I'm going to play it for you right here. Here you go. That was. On this day in country music. It's time for the good news. With Amy. Tell me something good. So this off-duty police officer saved a man's life at the airport.
Starting point is 00:46:20 And we're thinking, well, he's a police officer. He's doing his job. He's supposed to know CPR and save people's lives. Well, get this. on his way home from California, but he was delayed and missed his flight. So then he was waiting in line to get another flight back to Maine. And that's when the man standing behind him in line passed out. So lucky for the man that passed out, the police officer that knew CPR missed his flight. Because the police officer, he actually wanted medical help for the guy that passed out.
Starting point is 00:46:49 Like he was yelling out. Is there a doctor or a nurse? Anybody around? And so he was like, okay, I guess I got to step up because there's no medical help. And he delivered the CPR. undoubtedly saved the man's life was a quote in the paper. We're good. I mean, good for the guy that passed out, I guess. Also, it's funny to me because when lunchbox gets on an airplane and he's actually on the plane, what do you click? I click Doctor because they will treat you nicer and give you more respect when you're on the plane. Because you can put Mr. Mrs. DDS, Doctor, CEO.
Starting point is 00:47:16 He clicks Doctor every time. Yep. But again, sometimes someone's going to go, we need Dr. Box. We know he's on the plane. Someone's having a heart attack. They have said, is there a doctor on board one time? and I just, like I was asleep. Oh, you just close your eyes?
Starting point is 00:47:29 Yeah, but I'm a doctor of history, so I got my PhD. But that's a different thing, though, PhD. Wait, no, no. You're a doctor. You're a doctor. You're a doctor. A medical doctor's PhD. MD.
Starting point is 00:47:42 No, it's MD. Okay, well, okay. But they're not the same. Which one do you click, though? Like, PhD is a different clicker. No, no, it just says doctor. It doesn't say PhD? They didn't say PhD or MD.
Starting point is 00:47:50 It says doctor. So I'm a doctor. It doesn't give you an option? Nope, I'm a, and it gives you DDS. So if you're a dentist, You can put that. Click that. And then just look at the mouth.
Starting point is 00:47:58 Oh, we got a dental emergency. Can you come to the back? We need a root canal. That could happen. Like, when you fly, sometimes stuff in your mouth goes wrong. There you go. Thank you, Amy. All right, there you go.
Starting point is 00:48:09 That's what it's all about. Bobby Bone Show. Boney up the day. This story comes with us from Lovington, New Mexico. A 26-year-old man wanted to be a good boyfriend. He wanted to get his girlfriend off a day of work. He's like, what can I do? I know what I do.
Starting point is 00:48:25 Calls the Dollar General. says, oh, yeah, there's a bomb in the store. Wow, he loves her. And so she got the day off, but the police went through the phone records, traced it back to him. Now, if you're her, the question is, are you mad at him, or do you appreciate the effort? Because they always say, guys should be bold.
Starting point is 00:48:41 It's no bolder than a bomb threat. I mean, dumb, too, dumb too. But are you mad? I mean, I'm not attracted to that. I'm mad, probably. Okay, well, that we haven't. He did it because he wanted to see her and spend time with her. Romance.
Starting point is 00:48:54 Romance. Yeah. But no, you're not into it? Not into it. All right. Well, there you. And he's in jail? Oh, yeah, you got arrested.
Starting point is 00:49:00 Yeah. I'm Ledgebox. That's your Bonehead story of the day. Starting point is 00:51:04 I feel like it was a little bit unbelievable until I really start making money. It's Financial Literacy Month, and the podcast Eating While Broke is bringing real conversations about money, growth, and building your future. This month, hear from top streamer, Zoe Spencer, and venture capitalist Lakeisha Landry, Landry, Pierre as they share their journeys from starting out to leveling up. If I'm outside with my parents and they see all these people come up to me for pictures, it's like, what? Today now, obviously it's like 100% they believe everything, but at first it was just like, you gotta go get a real job. There's an economic component to communities thriving. If there's not enough money and entrepreneurship happening in communities, they fail. And what I mean by
Starting point is 00:51:47 by fell is they don't have money to pay for food. They cannot feed their kids. They do not have homes, communities don't work unless there's money flowing through them. Listen to Eating While Broke from the Black Effect Podcast Network on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. Service opens doors. Starting point is 00:52:34 dot E-DU slash military. Folks, it's your buddy and mine. Mr. Bobby Bones. Let go. Transvaidate across America. This is the Bobby Bones show. That's right. Now, here he is.
Starting point is 00:52:50 Turn it up. A lot of listeners want to know an update on your dad, Amy. He's been fighting cancer. He hasn't been able to eat food for months because he had throat cancer. So what's the latest? Yeah, so he has had a feeding tube for 10 months. Like, hasn't had any solid food, any food at all since, like, the day before his surgery, which was like last summer.
Starting point is 00:53:11 And he just took five bites of applesauce. His first bites really in almost a year? First bites. Yeah, so 10 months. and he took his first bites. Now, I don't know that my dad, being a food lover, would consider applesauce food. But at this point, he's like, I'll take whatever I can get.
Starting point is 00:53:27 And the physical therapist was able to give him five bites, and he was able to swallow those down. So the main thing is he's got to learn how to reteach. He hasn't been able to swallow. And, I mean, obviously. So he has a lot going on back there. So he's been doing the physical therapy, and for whatever reason it hasn't been working.
Starting point is 00:53:43 But he still has to have the feeding tube because he needs more nutrients than five bites of applesauce. But that's what the point. The point is he ate for the first time. We're getting there and that's just like really, really, really exciting. And we're trying to build up his strength so that maybe he can move in with us. Like, we want him to move to Nashville and move in with us, but he's just not got to be strong enough. That's cool.
Starting point is 00:54:02 Yeah. I'm glad to hear that. On the phone now, Karen's on in St. Louis. Hey, Karen. Hey. Hey, I appreciate you talking to me. What do you think about this dog situation? I think, yes, you should get a new one.
Starting point is 00:54:17 I'm going to get one I had a dog for 15 years I'm very lonely I want a dog it's just what kind of dog because Karen here's my problem like I travel a lot and I like to have a dog
Starting point is 00:54:29 that possibly I could travel with but I don't want something I can put in my pocket but that being said I like big dogs too I'm just I'm struggling Karen I'm struggling I'm struggling hard
Starting point is 00:54:38 I love my beagle my beagle is the best I had mentioned beagles a week or so ago what about a What eagle do you like? Oh, they're loyal and they're sweet, and they're adorable, and they need you as much as you need them. So far, that's all the requirements that I ask of Amy as well.
Starting point is 00:55:04 Like, you basically described Amy right there with all that, yeah. Whatever, I can't fit in his pocket. I have that. So, okay, so a beagle. Put that on the list. Karen has pitched beagle to me. How old's your beagle? What's a lifespan of that thing?
Starting point is 00:55:16 12-14 years. Wow. How much playtime does it need? Well, at 14, not a lot. Oh, yeah. But early ones, I mean, younger ones, they need some walking and some playtime. Listen, they'll get all the playtime with me. Even at 14. Well, thank you for your... I appreciate that suggestion.
Starting point is 00:55:40 Give me your opinion on this. A woman who wants to marry her boyfriend is not thrilled that he... customized for his ex-girlfriend and that he never proposed with it. Oh, the ring? Right, but he designed it for her. What do you think about that? Oh.
Starting point is 00:56:01 So, again, he didn't propose with it. There was no proposal. Right, but he had it, and he made it, and he made it with the ex-girlfriend in mind. Proposal didn't happen, but then it's time to propose to his current girlfriend. He just uses that ring. I shouldn't say just use this.
Starting point is 00:56:14 He used that ring. That's it. Talk to me, Amy. I don't know. I mean, part of me he doesn't want to care about it, but I mean, I guess I would just hope that he would want to maybe, I get it. You already have the ring, and that's probably a lot of money.
Starting point is 00:56:29 So you got to figure that out. But, I mean, you could sell it, like, you know, how you strip a car for parts. So strip the ring for parts. Strip the ring for parts. Lose money. Sell the gold, sell the diamond, take a hit. Okay. And then redesign something for her engagement ring.
Starting point is 00:56:44 Because, I mean, that's just. the new potential bride to be says her boyfriend's fit thousands on the ring for the X but never popped to question so she never got the ring he's been holding on to it said maybe this was the purpose the whole whole time that's what he says that's actually a really if he were to say that to me
Starting point is 00:57:01 you know maybe this is I mean that might actually work if he phrases it correctly now why yeah and I would want to know why I mean did he end up just breaking up with her did she break up with him I don't know there's so many questions but I say strip the ring for parts lunchbox, what do you think about this? I don't think it's a big deal at all.
Starting point is 00:57:18 I don't see a problem. The ring has never been used. It's a brand new, beautiful ring, and you love the ring, and you love him. He got down on one knee. You're the first proposal that ring has ever seen, and it is for you, the one and only. Get over yourself and accept the ring.
Starting point is 00:57:36 So what if she haven't have a wedding band for another dude, and she's like, well, I'm going to give this one to you. Okay, and it never was used. Fine. No problem with that. Quote. Something in my heart just can't get over the fact that the ring was originally made for someone else. It's like I bought this, like take it any gift, like for that matter.
Starting point is 00:57:55 You buy it for somebody else and then they find out like, oh, actually I don't need this for you, but I'm giving it to you. That's like saying, oh, I can't buy that house because someone else already lived in it. Like, come on, get over it. That house was built for someone else. Okay, that's different. We'll put this up on our Facebook page. People can go and hop in and see what they want to say about this. quote, he assured me she never wore it.
Starting point is 00:58:16 Exactly. But I just don't want something that wasn't made for me. Can I just say this though? Because I mean I'm on your side on this. It'd be tough for me. I'm just a human and I would be like, oh, you meant this for someone else? Then she should have it. Maybe a new one.
Starting point is 00:58:29 That's not practical. But I would feel the same way. But that being said, rings aren't practical in general. Rings aren't practical. And two, if you did go get a ring, it was never designed for you either. Just a normal ring. I don't know why I even told her. Let me be honest with you.
Starting point is 00:58:41 That's it. But Bobby, say he doesn't design it. That's where my mind goes back. Like, why'd you even bring this up? Just give her the ring and be like, Tadda-da. But you make a great point. He makes a great point.
Starting point is 00:58:50 That ring, rings are not designed specifically for you. It's just at a ring shop and you go pick it out. It's designed for whoever. No, but I can counter that. He bought the ring with the intent of marrying somebody else, and that didn't work out, so he's been holding on to it to give to you. And if you don't want it, he'll marry someone else.
Starting point is 00:59:05 Oh, and you say the ring. Yep. So that would cause you to break up with the girl? Yeah, you don't want the ring. Peace. Enough of you too. Here's Amy's pile of stories. So Haley Bieber, you know, Justin Bieber's wife,
Starting point is 00:59:19 she has filed a trademark for Bieber Beauty. So TMZ is reporting that the model might be getting into some sort of a beauty line and using her new last name for that. And it just made me think of Lunchbox and how he constantly has these business ideas, but he wants to incorporate Bobby Bones into the business. We'll open a snow cone stand and we'll call it Bones Cones. Yeah. It's a good idea.
Starting point is 00:59:42 So she obviously know there's power. and having Bieber in her beauty line. Well, then if you want to get married, lunchbox, you can use it. Me and you. Oh, yeah. Trademark it all you want. You have it all you want, baby.
Starting point is 00:59:51 No. Anything about that, baby? No. I like that. I like you calling baby. No, we don't like that. We do. We do.
Starting point is 00:59:57 Listeners like that too, babe. Want to call you that. Yes. All right. Yeah, babe. We're moving on. What else, Amy? So have you heard about the next big food craze for adults?
Starting point is 01:00:05 So it's got to be, let me think about this. It's got to be something kid. Because it's for adults. If you're saying for adults. Yes. bottles like milk oh no
Starting point is 01:00:15 bottles it's got to be some kind of milk breast milk ding ding ding ding yes some major companies are making a huge bet that the next big food craze will be breast milk for adults basically
Starting point is 01:00:27 it could help with things like allergies irritable bowel syndrome and even and even keeping our brains young I mean if that's the case bring me a cup like I want to drink it It does sound gross, but again, it does make sense that something from the human body helps the human body.
Starting point is 01:00:46 Yeah, because if it's like, it's good, like the breast milk can help babies fight infections and inflammation, helps with brain development, it gets good bacteria to the colon. So boom, if it could do that for babies, why haven't we been drinking this as adults? Well, we drink cows milk. This is why I admit I've been buying it on Craigslist for 10 years. I've had goat's milk. That's true. We're drinking other kinds of milk.
Starting point is 01:01:05 You're right. Amy, like I said, it does make sense. We're drinking all these milks. Lunchbox probably has some in his freezer. We could all... I do have some in the freezer. If you want me to bring it in, you can all drink it. Nah.
Starting point is 01:01:16 But anyway... I don't even drink regular milk anymore. And breast milk is good for the baby because the mom and baby share DNA. Just drinking some random person's breast milk. I don't think you get those same... But you're drinking an animal's milk. So what's the benefit of a cow? Does a body good?
Starting point is 01:01:31 Oh, I didn't think about that. Yeah. You never seen that campaign? I didn't think about it. And you get a mustache. Yeah. What else, Amy? Okay.
Starting point is 01:01:37 So a milk bar, you may not be familiar with them, but Momofuku Milk Bar has my favorite cake and cookies ever. But regardless, the story is... I've been there. When I was doing dates with stars, I went to one. They had one in L.A. and New York. Yeah, they've opened up, like, they've got Vegas, D.C., started in New York. It's like, oh my gosh, their cake is so... They have like a crack cookie or something that is good.
Starting point is 01:01:57 So that's what I'm talking about. The crack cookie, which mainly the story is, is it wrong for them to have crack in their name? Because after 10 years of having crack pie is what it's... It's called crack pie. They're now having to change the name because of controversy over having crack in the name. Did you say they should put Prince's butt in front of it? Right, but crack pie. No, because it's not, the reason why it's crack pie is it's because it's supposed to be as addictive and as good as crack, but people are like, we need to be sensitive to people that are really addicted to crack.
Starting point is 01:02:29 And I'm like, let's say a few words real quick to all over audience. I thought you might have thoughts on this. Stop being so sensitive. If you don't like something, just go away from it. If crack pie bothers you, don't eat crack pie. That's it. Don't give them your money if you don't think that crack pie is appropriate. They're not hurting anyone.
Starting point is 01:02:46 This is my issue when people get upset with me. People get upset at shows. People get upset. We're not hurting kids or animals. You don't like it. Change the channel. That's it. If you do like it, stay with us.
Starting point is 01:02:55 We love it. We love you like it. We love you like it. Keep eating it. You don't like it? Move on with your life. People Instagram posts. Our Facebook post.
Starting point is 01:03:03 We post a story. Okay. I post about Dustin Lance. like, Dustin Lynch, or any country. Just get off our page. Unless you like it, then stay. My point is, stop being so sensitive. Are you woo-woo babies?
Starting point is 01:03:14 Preach. I mean, it's amazing. And we're letting a minority of yellers dictate the majority of the decisions. Like, we post something and people get upset, and it's like, oh, wow, like how upset they are. There's not even a mass amount of people. Like I said, when I post that picture
Starting point is 01:03:29 with all that fake money on my desk, you would have thought I stomped a puppy's head. And you had seen the radio message boards. It's just lighting me up. Like, get over yourselves. It's been the last time on message boards radio. People doing your show. How about that?
Starting point is 01:03:43 Don't get me started about that. Everybody needs to relax. Just stop. But crack pie is what I do, though. Well, in case you're ever looking for crack pie, they have now renamed it to Milk Bar Pie. Boo. I'm going to scratch it myself.
Starting point is 01:03:57 You guys need any crack? I got it. I don't know. This doesn't work. I need some crack pie. No, I mean, they want to be sensitive to the crack. If they really wanted to do it. Community.
Starting point is 01:04:06 Yeah. Did they have any meth by? Oh, man, that's meth, though. Okay. Oh, too far. Maybe a little, uh. I don't feel comfortable laughing at it, but maybe Bobby can make jokes because you know. Yeah, because all my family died of it.
Starting point is 01:04:20 Yes. Yeah. Yeah. What? You can make a joke about it every you want. Who cares? Anyway, whatever. Thank you.
Starting point is 01:04:26 Mm-hmm. I'm done. I'm Amy. That's my child. Goodbye. There you go. Bobby Bones. The Bobby Bones show.

Starting point is 01:08:07 It's time for the good news. With Bobby. Tell me something good. Bella Smith is a third grader who wanted to make sure that none of the students at her school miss out on celebrating their birthdays. She attends Win Pine Elementary School in Kentucky. It's a Tier 1 school, which means that 80% of the families are low income. When one of her classmates told Bella, her family couldn't afford to have a party for his birthday,
Starting point is 01:08:30 she was inspired to start with what's called Bella's Boxes. She fills her birthday boxes with all the essentials for a celebration. Listen to this. Cake mix, frosting, sprinkles, balloons, and party hats. Then she passed them out to the school's family resource center and they distribute them to families in need. Oh, wow. Isn't that cool?
Starting point is 01:08:49 Love it. She gets all the supplies to create these boxes through donations from community members and has even asked for box donations instead of presents for her own birthday. And she's making sure other kids give birthdays. Wow. I love that. That is a good one right there. That's what's all about.
Starting point is 01:09:04 That was Tell Me Something Good The latest from Nashville and Hollywood Morgan number two's 30 Second Skinny Tim McGraw is going on tour to promote his book Songs of America He and the co-author John will visit seven cities in June Tim will also perform a few songs featured in the book I was going to ask about that What if you went to a Tim McGraw anything
Starting point is 01:09:26 And he just talked And he didn't play a song And I didn't know he was going to play, that was my question Songs from the book like his songs are songs they wrote about. I'm not totally sure. They didn't specify. Can make requests? Tim, we do Yankee Doodle Dandy. But yeah, that would be cool. That would be a cool thing to go to. All right, what else? Before Kelsey Ballerini's Grandal Operate, official induction, she performed backstage with Keith Urban and Carrie Underwood. They covered Tricia
Starting point is 01:09:49 Yearwood and Don Henley's Walk Away Joe. Inducted in the Grand Ole Opry. All right, what else? Derek's Bentley is ready to perform at the NFL Draft Outdoor Concert on April 27th in Nashville, and he says it's a great thing for the city. He also said that to have the draft in Nashville and a chance to be one of the guys on stage leading the party is really exciting for him. That's going to be a whole thing, man.
Starting point is 01:10:22 I mean, I'm doing two days of it. I'm the reporter. Yeah. I'm doing the draft for ABC and they're like, all right, let's go to the, I don't know what they're going to make me do, but maybe I'll run some plays. Maybe I'll give them some draft mentoring.
Starting point is 01:10:33 I'll mentor them on what kind of offense they should be in. All right. Or negotiate their deals. Oh, I see, guys. I can negotiate the deals. Yeah. Luke Brian and I have both. And Luke's doing day one.
Starting point is 01:10:43 I'm doing day one and day two. But the draft's going to be cool on ABC coming up. Not this weekend, so not tomorrow, but next week, right? Yeah. There you go. All right, thank you, Morgan number two. Yep. I'm Morgan number two.
Starting point is 01:10:53 That's your skinny. Folks, it's your buddy and my... Mr. Bobby Bowles. So one day a week, we tried to investigate Amy's morning forney. What's our streak? Five? Is it five? No.
Starting point is 01:11:15 We didn't get six? No, we are today. Okay. Amy will tell the joke, and we have to figure out the... The morning corny as a team. Morning corny. What do you call a dog in the winter? Okay.
Starting point is 01:11:32 Frozen mutt, cold dog. Frosty? Ice. Ice puppy. Puppie. Hush puppy. Wait, no, that's a quiet dog. What do you call a quiet dog?
Starting point is 01:11:45 What is a good one? That's another joke. That's a good one for later. We should write that down. Like in six months, I'm right. I'm right. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, let's try to figure this one.
Starting point is 01:11:53 out of us. An ice dog, an ice puppy. What do you call a dog in the winter? What do you call a dog in the winter? What if it's not about, what's not his name? What if it's just like, what do you call at him? Like what do you call, how do you call him? What do you call a dog?
Starting point is 01:12:07 That's not how I heard the joke though. I know, but sometimes that's a trick. Sometimes it can be a trick. What do you call a dog in the winter? Frozen. Can I get that music please? I think better with it, thank you. Barred.
Starting point is 01:12:20 Rough. Oh. Oh. Something with rough. What if it's like rough? Rough rider. Rough, rough. What if it's like...
Starting point is 01:12:31 Santa Ruff? Snow. Snow. A frozen... What do you say it in? What do you call a dog in the winter? Chill. Chill.
Starting point is 01:12:43 Chill. Chills. Shiver. There's no joke. Eddie, I'm just talking out words right now. I can get frustrated with each other. Starting point is 01:13:39 A chili. A chili dog. A chili dog. It's a chili dog. It's a chili dog. It's a chili dog. Wow, that's it. Wait, let me go.

Starting point is 01:16:50 If I'm outside with my parents and they're seeing all these people come up to me for pictures, It's like, what? Today now, obviously, it's like 100%. They believe everything. But at first, it was just like, you got to go get a real job. There's an economic component to community striving. If there's not enough money and entrepreneurship happening in communities, they fail. And what I mean by fell is they don't have money to pay for food.
Starting point is 01:17:13 They cannot feed their kids. They do not have homes. Communities don't work unless there's money flowing through them. Starting point is 01:17:56 That's AMU. APUS.edu.edu slash military. Hey, Colin in Tennessee, what's happening? Hey, what's going on, Bobby? You, man, what do you want to say? I was going to ask you a question about, like, what kind of purpose you're going to be, you know, wanting the dogs for, like, why do you want the dog?
Starting point is 01:18:19 Well, companionship, two, for ladies. to look at and go, hey, I like to be with a guy. Has that dog? Mostly companionship. Really? I just get lonely around the house. Yeah. I made a joke because I'm lonely. Yeah, go ahead.
Starting point is 01:18:36 Well, I was going to say, I mean, I feel like for, you know, most dogs you're going to get that companionship because they're always excited to see you when you're getting home. My last dog kind of got over me a little bit. It wasn't excited to see if he was like, okay, you're back home, cool. Yeah, they get old and tired. Yeah, he keeps tired. So Casey Musgraves reached out to me and said,
Starting point is 01:18:58 The lyrics for Rainbow? Yeah. We were talking about on the show yesterday. So I looked at lyric online, and I was singing in my room, and I was like, tie up your boat. And the lyrics. They pop your coat. Oh, tie up. And it was tie up the bow, take off the coat.
Starting point is 01:19:17 Take off your coat. That's what the lyric page said. I was always singing tie up the boat. So I wrote, and you can see I'm against the story. I say, hey, Casey, what is the lyric? And she replied, it's boat. It is? It's tie up the boat.
Starting point is 01:19:30 Yeah. Look at my Instagram story. Mr. Bobby Bones. What? Where it's confusing is boat and take. Boat take. First she responded, I was like, hey, Casey, what is the, what's the real lyric here? And she goes, it can be whatever you want it to be.
Starting point is 01:19:46 And then she was like, nah, it's boat. But it's on my answer story. Awesome, dude. Yeah. So tie up the boat, take off your coat. Oh, tie up the boat. Take off your coat. It's fine.
Starting point is 01:20:14 But you're stuck at. Storm again. all these lyric pages, they all say, tie up the boat, don't they? That's right, I had to get to the bottom of this. You can see on my answer story. She even sent me an emoji of a boat to make sure there was no confusion.
Starting point is 01:20:31 Here are some other lyrically misheard songs. For example, the wrong lyrics, I'm not big on sausage gravy. Not the lyric. It's I'm not big on social graces. Big on social graces. Flip on down to the oasis soul I've got a friend.
Starting point is 01:20:57 Okay, okay. Here's one from Keith Urban. You ever heard the song, Take your cat and leave my shredder? Yeah. It's not cat. It does sound like cat, doesn't it? It's cap.
Starting point is 01:21:09 Take your cap and leave my sweater. Take your cat and leave my sweater. But it does sound like cat, though. I always thought it was cat. I always thought that was a weird lyric. I was like, dang, Keith, you holding on to the key kitty? Take your cat and leave my sweater. It does sound like cat.
Starting point is 01:21:27 Yeah. Yeah. It does. Beachin by Jake Owen. The misheard lyric is White Sand. White Sand. Some people are hearing white sand cocaine. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:21:42 White sand cocaine. What do you hear? Cold can. Cold can. White sand, cold can. Josh Grayson, nothing left to lose. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, what? What do you think that says?
Starting point is 01:22:03 Fight again. Oh, good. Oh, she's a big old turd. Breaker breaker one night, she's a big old turd. That's what people are hearing in that song. There you go. Bricka, breaker one nine, she's a big old third. That does sound kind of like big old turd, doesn't it?
Starting point is 01:22:19 Yeah. Breaker breaker one night. I mean, what? That's a great lyric. That's not what it is. It's breaker breaker one nine. She's a big old flirt. Not big old turd.
Starting point is 01:22:27 Oh, I didn't even hear it. third. It still doesn't sound like... It doesn't sound like flirt. Maybe third. Maybe he wrote... Maybe it is turd, but he's like, we can't write them out of the lyrics. Carry Underwood, dirty laundry.
Starting point is 01:22:39 Here you go. What's this say? All the Ajax in the world ain't gone... What do you think it says? All the Ajax. In the world. A lot of people think it says all the eight tracks in the world because they don't know what Ajax is.
Starting point is 01:22:51 Oh. My grandmother used to talk about Ajax. How you need Ajax to get that off. But a lot of people hear a lot of eight tracks in the world. All the Ajax in the world ain't going. And if you listen to it like that, you can hear that. But yeah, it's the real lyrics, all the Ajax in the world. And finally, from Uncle Cracker,
Starting point is 01:23:05 give me the, what? Give me the beach boys and free my soul. Yeah, the beach boys. It's not what it is. You know that, right? Give me the beat. Yeah, the real lyric is give me the beat boys. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:23:18 Not you give me the beach boys. Well, give me the beach boys. Oh, give me the beat boys and free my soul. I want to get lost in your rock and roll and drift. But for those that are asking, it's tie up your boat. Oh, tie up the boat. Take off your coat. Take a look around.
Starting point is 01:23:40 Straight from the source, too. Oh, yeah. That's awesome. Like Amanda's the story. I should say that. Do you see it Morgan number two? Yeah, I did. Okay, cool.
Starting point is 01:23:48 Just making sure. Your video, you asked her. Yeah, I was like, hey, what's up? Yes. It's time for the good news. With lunchbox. Something good. William Belize is an 89-year-old World War II veteran.
Starting point is 01:24:06 He's blind, so his house is kind of in shambles. The paint is kind of chipping on the outside. Well, they have an event in Tampa called Paint Your Heart Out Tampa, and a local fire department showed up to his house and painted his entire house. That's awesome. Love it. What a great event, too, if they go in and they like paint people who need it. Paint your heart out.
Starting point is 01:24:23 That's funny. That's in Tampa. Yeah, paint your heart out, Tampa. Shout out to all of our Tampa listeners. That's a great story. and good for him. That's what it's all about right there. That was Tell Me Something Good.
Starting point is 01:24:34 Do you see this pizza that can make you have a baby if you're pregnant? Oh, yeah. I saw something like the ingredients or they claim that if you eat it, yeah, it'll send you into labor. Prego pizza sends pregnant women into labor. The restaurant chain on the West Coast claims to have a pizza with the power to make expectant moms go into labor. Skipalinis. And they say, if you eat this and it has salami, pepperoni, pepperoni, sausage ham, ground beef,
Starting point is 01:25:00 mushrooms, black olives, black olives, all this. It's over four pounds. It's like a meat lover. It just takes all the other space up in you. It just pushes the baby out. It's like, well, there's no more room in here. Bye-bye, baby. Speaking of pizza, I don't even have this story in my hand, but I saw this. Do you guys see the hitman in the pizza
Starting point is 01:25:16 outfit? No? No. There's this story. This hitman went up to the door in a pizza costume, and he had the crossbow in the pizza box. Whoa. And he knocks on the door, and you see it in like And she didn't die, but he, like, she hurt her real bad. But he was supposed the intention was to kill her, and he was hired by somebody. Hitman amaze me because I'm like, how do people, I don't want to find a hitman.
Starting point is 01:25:42 I don't want people to be able to find it, but it's like, how do they find them? I know. Google, it's what happens. Do you see the story, Mike D? Is that real, right? I mean, whatever. I'll Google it. I read every, I try to read every bit of news I can.
Starting point is 01:25:57 And there's a video. Mike D has a video. I'm not posting this video, but isn't that crazy? Yeah. Let me see the video. He has a cross-go in the box. What?
Starting point is 01:26:05 Order pizza, like, ring the doorbell, and then that's it. Well, there's also a movie coming out where a guy goes, he finds out that, and this is a pretty cool concept for a movie, the guy finds out he's dying. And so he hires a hitman because he doesn't want to suffer. But then he finds out that the doctor is wrong about diagnosing him. And now he has to run from the hitman. And so the whole movie's like him trying to fight the hitman.
Starting point is 01:26:28 Hitman off. Oh. Isn't that like a pretty cool concept for a movie? Yeah. Yeah, it was a good one. What was that? Yeah. What was the movie you saw Mike D? It was good on Netflix?
Starting point is 01:26:37 The one that were like Walking Dead or whatever? Oh, Black Summer is a TV show. I saw it preview. It's good or no? It kind of slows down like the fourth episode, but it's pretty good. It's kind of like the Walking Dead. Episodes one through three solid. What was the one you said was good, though?
Starting point is 01:26:50 There was another one you said it was good. No, I saw the silence which wasn't very good. Oh, so that was the best of the two? Yeah. Oh. All right. I was on. You know what I watched last night a little bit of, the Beyonce documentary?
Starting point is 01:27:01 Is it good? It's a concert. So it's not so much like the history of Beyonce's life. But yeah, it's pretty crazy. Yeah, but no, it's pretty cool because you're watching our Coachella performance. Morgan number two, you watch it? Yeah. Oh, it's so good.
Starting point is 01:27:14 I've seen her in concert before and it was just as good as that. It's large. It's cool. I think it's fun to watch. But I've watched the first 20 minutes with that before I fell asleep last night. So, yeah, I did that. watched that was bad. Since we're talking about bad shows. But that Beyonce thing wasn't bad.
Starting point is 01:27:32 Oh, okay. But Mike D gave two bads, so I can give a bad. What did you watch it was bad? Cokane Island on Netflix. I saw a preview for that, where they were looking for money. It's like a true story of this guy that heard about this cocaine buried on some island. It was like $2 million worth of cocaine, but he was just like, you know, like a normal dad, not a drug dealer, but he decided to go do it
Starting point is 01:27:50 and then he ended up in jail and... It's not good. We shouldn't spend a lot of time on the shows that aren't good. But some people might think it's good. Well, it's not. to say it's not. Okay, sorry. No, no, no. That I joined in on the not good. You're able to say it's not, then not spend a bunch of time reviewing it. Okay.
Starting point is 01:28:07 There's, what's up with the Taylor Swift, Kim Kardashian feud? Is there an update? Morgan number two? Yeah, so Kim Kardashian posted on her Instagram story that their launch got delayed because some of the bottles didn't pass durability tests. I don't know if I believe it or if there. So her perfume was coming out the same day Taylor's new music's coming out. Yes, so now she's changed the date. Yeah, she blames it on like this whole durability thing, but I don't know. What's the deal with John Mayer in the Taylor Swift? Do you know about this?
Starting point is 01:28:36 No. What's the deal with John Mayer? Is he part of her record? No, like she changed all the artwork on her songs to that image she's counting down to, except for the one about him. There's a new song about him? No, her old song. She redid it? She updated the artwork.
Starting point is 01:28:51 So she updated all the artwork to every one of her old songs to look like what? So like on our song? Yeah. It's updated artwork. Yeah, it's updated artwork to show the countdown thing. Except for the one that she wrote about him, Dear John? It's the different one. Okay, so you wrote two songs about John Mary?
Starting point is 01:29:07 Yeah. Huh, but she didn't change that one. Now, why? Why are people saying that? As a dig to him? As a dig. That's the only one she didn't change. A dig.
Starting point is 01:29:16 A dig. I mean, isn't it time to move on for that? I don't know. I don't know what happened. I haven't moved on for everything in my life, Amy. Yeah, but I'm sorry. I'm looking at Taylor Swift. Yeah, I don't know.
Starting point is 01:29:27 I feel like it's time. Well, she also wrote Dear John about him. Did she change that one? No, not that one. Then what do you write about her, paper doll? Oh, yeah, paper doll. That's a good one. Oh, it is.
Starting point is 01:29:36 Yeah. It's because you're 22 girls in one. So is that his way of subtly saying she's, like, kind of crazy? Well, this is, like, again, we're we had you from four years ago. But we all are a little bit. It came out when she was 22. It was like 22 Girls in One, right? That's when she did the 22 song?
Starting point is 01:29:53 I don't know if that's the case. Oh, that's what I put together. I don't, listen. Too many people hear my words and they can secretly come after me. I 100% saw that as a link to her. Oh, that song's her. I believe that was his response. I mean the 22 part.
Starting point is 01:30:07 I think so too. Okay. You just not saying. I'm just saying crap. Sometimes I get a call like 3 p.m. Somebody's mad at me for it. I'm like, what? Who is something you said?
Starting point is 01:30:21 Yes. All the time. Just somebody at work or somebody random? Somebody random. It's my number from like, and somebody, from like a New York office from a label or management calling. And I'm like, huh? How did you get my number?
Starting point is 01:30:33 Did you say this? And I'm like, I don't know. We just speak here. Do you know what I do? This is how I remember what I say. I want, I don't remember what I say ever. But I just know, I go back to my heart.
Starting point is 01:30:42 And I look at my heart. And if I feel that way, I probably said it. Because by the time I'm writing, doing this show, doing the podcast, doing comedy. If I'm on TV, I probably have said if I feel it. And I'm like, did you say this? Like, I don't remember it. But I feel that way. So I'm going to go ahead and say I did.
Starting point is 01:30:56 If I lie all the time, I can't remember. So I just follow my heart. But if you'd never felt it or thought of it, then you're like, I'd probably didn't say it. No way I said that. Yep. Got into that thing recently too. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:31:08 Whatever. You don't want to elaborate? No, not yet. It's a sensitive time for me right now. It's a very sensitive time. Okay. You always tell him Bobby once and tell a story and then he's like, oh, okay, never right. I'm going to wait.
Starting point is 01:31:19 It just happened a little too close. And I have a rule that I separate something so certain people aren't. That makes sense. in the eye. Yeah. In the bull's eye. That's why we give you space. Thank you.
Starting point is 01:31:30 I do have a couple of great stories, though. All right. What do you want to do? Do you want to talk about who you saw at the grocery store? You want to say that for tomorrow? I don't care. Whatever we can say. I want to know.
Starting point is 01:31:40 Amy's super cool. No, I'm at the grocery store. I mean, y'all could have easily been at this grocery store and seen the same person. Like, that doesn't make me cool. Okay. So you're at the grocery store. What are you shopping for? Well, it was a beautiful day.
Starting point is 01:31:52 So I went to get some tea. And then I was like, you know what? I have my computer. I'm going to sit on the patio of this grocery store and do a little bit of work. And up walks, Brett Eldridge. Yes. Now, does Brett see you or do you see him first? I was on my computer and he walked upstairs and he was like, hey.
Starting point is 01:32:15 And then I look up and I was like, oh, hey. And so I was finishing up a call too that I was working on. And so when he went and got his food, he came out and then we talked for like 10 minutes. Oh, really? Yeah. Yeah, he's a good guy. He's so nice. and was headed to Australia
Starting point is 01:32:29 for like three weeks or something so then we talked about him hanging out with Bobby and I was like I was like Bobby talked about it but I didn't talk about him I never on the air said it was him It's true you didn't No I never said I was hanging out with Brett
Starting point is 01:32:45 Oh you didn't? No because again I tried to someone have some sort of separation Okay well I didn't say you talked about it on there I said you told me that you had fun And that Brett was like really good and you felt a little lame because you weren't as good for a sudden. He goes, oh, like the first two rounds we did, yeah, yeah, he wasn't. But then he warmed up and he's really good.
Starting point is 01:33:07 So I guess, and then he was saying he, like some company just sent him a bunch of new gear and he's excited to go get out. And I was like, okay, you take paintball. I'm serious. Oh, he loves it. Yeah. He messes me yesterday. He was like, hey, man, I got a bunch of new equipment.
Starting point is 01:33:19 Let's go play paintball. Equipment. And he sent me a picture. He sent me a picture of him playing paintball. And I was like, brother, who took this picture? And he goes, don't worry about it. He was like, whatever. And I was like, well, you send it to me.
Starting point is 01:33:30 You must be proud of it. But Brett Eldridge loves paintball. Yeah. And then he talked about how... You know what? I posted a picture on Instagram. I didn't talk about it on the air, but there's a picture on my Instagram of a whole group and him and I are in the group. Right.
Starting point is 01:33:40 That's what it is. Okay. And then he talked about how he's still doing the flip phone thing and that... Oh, he is? Amy, we were out and he was like, let's all take a picture. And so we're all going to take a picture. Because Brett's a big guy, big deep voice. I like the voice.
Starting point is 01:33:53 And then he runs out. He goes, hold on. And he runs out to his truck and grabs that Polaroid because he's on a flip phone. Puchon! Puts the curtain over his head, you know. Like, well, they take pictures back in the 1700s. Yeah, he is doing that. Yeah. So, I mean, he seemed to be really good.
Starting point is 01:34:08 He's making some music and feeling good. Does he by himself? Yeah, he's by himself. Like, literally, he was picking up food. He's like, I'm about to go home, pack my bags, and hop on a plane to Australia. Yeah. Yeah, good. You're so cool.
Starting point is 01:34:21 So cool. Again, I was just at the grocery store. But that's so cool, though. Could have been you. But it wasn't that. It's always you. For somebody that's always Amy. Who's just out seeing celebrities at the grocery store.
Starting point is 01:34:33 It can be dirks. She's running to dirks before. Kip Moore. Whole Foods. Trader Joe, no, turn up truck. They all hang out at the grocery stores of these guys. Yeah, that's what people do. Eddie's singing the national anthem tonight at the minor league baseball game.
Starting point is 01:34:49 First time you've ever done that, huh? First time ever. Yeah, I'd be pretty nervous. And I'm just wondering if this could start something. Oh, wow, you're looking at it the different way. Like a tour of national anthems. Or like the hockey team here, National Preds, they have a resident, a national anthem singer, Star-Spangled Banner. I mean, if it were me, I would say, slow your role a bit.
Starting point is 01:35:10 You haven't done it once. Right. Like, do it tonight. But what if it just feels right? And what if it's just perfect? And I hope it does. I hope you get out there and it feels great. And I'm excited you're doing it.
Starting point is 01:35:21 I'm going. Yes. I'll be there. We have a minor league baseball team here in town called the Nashville sounds. And so Eddie will be singing, I'm going to throw out the first pitch, but I was just looking at the game for free. I was like, sure. Yeah, you got some tickets out of it.
Starting point is 01:35:34 So, yeah, it'll be good. Are you nervous, really? Yeah, I am. I mean, honestly, I am, because this is the biggest song I've ever sang in my life. Probably, I mean, I've just never done the national anthem, ever. And then in a baseball park, you know, everyone's there. This is an important
Starting point is 01:35:52 moment, and I can't mess it up. Yeah. Just don't try to, just don't try to, like, super sing. But I've got things that I do. Like, they're a little, show me. Like levels of a, and the rocket's red glade. The bums burst in, you know what I'm going to? The bumps bursting.
Starting point is 01:36:13 Wow. Yeah. By the way, that's really good. That's good. Have you been practicing? Because that's really good. In the car. Like my wife today, my wife yesterday, she was like, I haven't heard you practice at all.
Starting point is 01:36:22 Like, in the car, a few times. So just like driving along, like really melting it out. Are you ready for that delay? Because what happens is you sing and then it happens around you like one second after. Okay, mentor. What do I do for that? You just focus on your own voice coming out of your mouth. You're listening to your voice inside your head.
Starting point is 01:36:38 Sometimes they'll give people maybe an ear or something. You're not going to have that. Should I cover an ear? Well, you kind of like a douche if you do that. I've seen people do that. Well, if they need to do it, do it. Okay. But listen to your inside, inside your head voice.
Starting point is 01:36:52 Focus on that. Okay. And I told myself I wasn't going to do the very end, the free. You know how they do that? I just wouldn't over sing it. Yeah. Because if you go out and you nail it, everyone claps and goes about their day. If you go out there and you don't, you get to put on social media.
Starting point is 01:37:07 Oh, boy, I don't want that. Like, it's our greatest song, yet there is no huge payoff when you nail the national anthem. Because you're expected to nail the national anthem. So nail it and then walk and carry about your day. But don't, if you mess up, man. Ooh. Don't even say that. I know.
Starting point is 01:37:23 I don't need to say it because you're not going to. That was good though. Do the bombs bursting again. And the bombs burst in air. Oh, no, no. See your melody. That's what I'm saying.
Starting point is 01:37:33 These words can get jumbled in my head. Well, I also started you at a bad spot. The bombs bursting in air. That's it. And then there's the thing that people do with a microphone where they move it backwards. I've never done that before. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 01:37:49 Oh, that sounds good. Why are you doing so many runs, man? I'm just telling you. I don't know what to do. I know you're going to want to do runs, but don't do somebody to run. Because this could be my only moment. It's not, Eddie, we can on stage and sing in front of thousands all the time. Not the national anthem.
Starting point is 01:38:01 If you want to, we can. We start every radio. We can. I love that song. I do too. Tonight, Eddie's singing the national anthem. Lunchbox does not think it's a smart idea. Man, Eddie, I thought this was a joke the whole time.
Starting point is 01:38:15 I thought Bobby was going to put an end of this. I thought he was just letting you go, letting you go, letting you go. And then he was going to stop you because if you screw this up, it looks bad for our show. Like you're from the Bobby Bones show. So it comes back to all of us. So you're representing, when you go out there,
Starting point is 01:38:29 you have to understand you're representing not only yourself, but the entire show. So if you make us look bad, it's on, and it's especially on Bobby, because it's Bobby Bones show. If I can step in,
Starting point is 01:38:40 if you do a great job, it's Eddie from the Bobby Bones show. If you do a bad job, it's from the Soar Losers podcast. Okay, that's it. Like, I'm nervous. You're going to choke like a dog. Who's going?
Starting point is 01:38:50 Amy, are you going? I'm going. I'm going. Are you going on lunchbox? Oh, I'm going. I'm ready for him to... See, he's rooting for me to mess up. That's so not supportive.
Starting point is 01:38:58 Oh, you're rooting from DeBomb? Absolutely. That's America's song. Viral moment, guys. You guys want to make it big time. This is how you do it. That's how I want to do it. I want to do it by working hard.
Starting point is 01:39:08 By showing up on time, working hard, making great connections, and always pushing myself. I don't want to make it through that. He could be the next Roseanne Barr. Okay, no. Because he's not Rosam Barr. Did you see her singing the nationalism? Yes, but because she's Roseanne Barr, it got. national attention. Like if Eddie messes up, it's going to be like, oh, this guy in Nashville
Starting point is 01:39:26 messed up the National Anthem. Morgan, too. Yep, I'll be there with some girlfriends, too. Oh, wow. Everyone's going. So nervous. Didn't Roseanne Barty's something bad, though? She just sang it really horribly. For the National Anthem? Yeah. No, she got up and just sang it joking. Okay. It was it at Wrigley Field. Yeah, that's dumb. Right? Rigley Field? Yeah. I don't know. It was a Dodger game. I felt like it was in Chicago. And it was like a disrespect thing. She just got up and just saying it funnily, if that's a word. Yeah, we didn't take it serious. She thought she was Roseanne, so she's just going to get up to sing it as hard as she could without trying.
Starting point is 01:39:58 Did she say where she was? I am pulling up the video right now, July 26, 1990? Wow. San Diego Padres, Jack Murphy Stadium. There you go. Wow. If that's the bad one. I don't know, this doesn't look like the bad one.
Starting point is 01:40:12 She did good ones. Eddie, good luck, my friend. Thanks, Moe. Tonight's a big night for you and us. America quite a lot. And like Lunchbox said, the whole Bobby Bone show. And you're going to root against him why singing? Oh, absolutely.
Starting point is 01:40:24 So rude. I think half the stadium cheers against a national anthem singer. Oh, they just wait? This is like a thing? Yeah. I don't think so. I think that's just your work mind. Everybody know you one of the game?
Starting point is 01:40:34 No, I'll be there in spirit though. Okay. All right. USA, USA. All right, tonight. Well, we'll bring it in tomorrow. We'll see how you did. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:40:41 The Bobby Bone Show. A new episode of Amy's podcast is up today. Four Things with Amy Brown. You talk to your daughter about tattoos. Well, she was in the room. I had to bring the kids to work with me because, yeah, sometimes they're with me all day. And she piped in. She doesn't ever want to talk.
Starting point is 01:40:58 And she just came over to the microphone while I was doing a segment. And she was like, excuse me, I have something to say. I don't want that I have tattoos. It's gross. Oh, you think tattoos are gross? Even you. What? You don't, what about these?
Starting point is 01:41:10 You don't like them? Nope. Okay. Well, maybe when you're older. Well, that's good news because I don't want you to get tattoos as a kid. I want you to be older and make sure you get some. something you like. Maybe I don't know.
Starting point is 01:41:21 You do not want one. You didn't know when I grow up. Okay. All right. So, Stasheera says no tattoos. She was moved. Walk over to the microphone. Listen, because I was doing something about it and I was talking about how sometimes I talked to my husband about him getting a sleeve because I think he'd look hot if he had a sleeve.
Starting point is 01:41:36 And she marched right over the microphone and she was like, nope. So she's pretty passionate about that. Is she listening right now by any chance? No. Nope. I've been searching for birthday presents. I have it now for Amy's daughter. She's about to turn 12.
Starting point is 01:41:50 It's more of a struggle for a 12-year-old than it was an 11-year-old. Yeah. Why is that one-year-older? Yeah, it is. At 13, it doesn't even harder because they're starting to be, like, young women. Yeah, I can see that. She is. She's growing up.
Starting point is 01:42:05 Now they're in that weird spot between kid and, like, they start to think they're, so I got her something cool. I'm not going to say on the year. I got her something that she'll like, two things. But I bought her a house. I know. It seems like last year, you're right, though. Like last year she seemed more little in the,
Starting point is 01:42:19 like an American girl doll was like appropriate and then now I wouldn't picture really getting her a doll. She's like, not getting her a doll. After I give it to her up, we can say on the air. Also, the podcast called Four Things with Amy Brown and Amy's daughter was there. So Serena Williams and Amy's daughter FaceTime each other. The tennis player? Yeah. The greatest, one of the greatest players of all times. Yeah. So crazy. Yeah. I couldn't believe it. Yeah, you didn't know that? FaceTime? Yeah. Serena Williams face. I have video of it. I mean, I was secretly videoing because I mean, I don't want Serena to think we were like. Right.
Starting point is 01:42:49 How did you end up getting into FaceTime each other? We played it cool. So right now we're supporting Espois, which means hope and Haitian Creel, supporting this maternity center in Haiti and the girl that works with it, she was like, hey, I'm going to this bachelor's party with a bunch of girls.
Starting point is 01:43:05 We want to support Stashear and her bracelets and the orphanage. So could she make us all custom bracelets for all the girls attending? We're like, sure, just send us the list. Like, no problem. We had no idea who she was friends with. Whatever.
Starting point is 01:43:16 The list comes in. Serena Williams is on the list. list. So she got one of Stasheera's custom bracelets. And she wanted to, I guess she just thought it was so cool. And especially that she came from Haiti. And she was like, I would like to FaceTime your daughter and tell her, thank you for my bracelet. That's crazy. Did they make plans to meet up? I don't tell a dating app. No, no, no, no. Become friends. No, not like that, but it was just thoughtful. Here, this is part of the podcast. Isn't that super cool? Yeah. One day you'll understand how cool that is.
Starting point is 01:43:44 But you're a boy and what. My what? Yeah, but crazy. What does she think? She said your brain works crazy. Oh. Why is crazy? Yeah, it works. Why does my brain work crazy?
Starting point is 01:43:55 I think crazy. Okay, I don't know what that means. She doesn't know how big of a deal of Serena Williams is. Yes, like, not at all. And I went from like talking tattoos to then asking her about Serena Williams. But yeah, I think one day once she realizes like the superstar. I think your brain's crazy too, though. And I'm with you all the time.
Starting point is 01:44:10 Right. Well, I think honestly, her making that comment was she was in there watching me work for like 30 minutes and I was all over the place. And I think that's why she said that. Search four things with Amy Brown on IHartRadio or wherever you listen to your podcast. They're really fantastic podcast. I hope you check it out today. New episode out today. The next couple days, I guess you're on a podcast for once, huh?
Starting point is 01:44:33 Yes, recorded one with Carla Marie. And she has a podcast called Side Hustlers. And she said, she doesn't even know if you know this, but she started her podcast because of something you said to her. What did I say to her? I guess, well, she's been in radio for a while. And you said, what's your side hustle? And she was like, what?
Starting point is 01:44:52 I don't have one. You're like, everybody in radio has a side hustle, something else they're working on. What are you working on? She was like, oh, so then she decided to make her podcast or side hustle and then also call it side hustle and talk to people about their side hustles. Oh, wow. So like, you were behind it all. So I was like, that's right, America's mentor.
Starting point is 01:45:09 I don't know if I would use the term side hustle. I don't think I say that, though. I promise like you need another job. Well, that's how she said it all came about. And she said she doesn't even know if she's ever told you that. She hasn't. I thought I would pass it along. A pin a rose on my nose.
Starting point is 01:45:23 Yeah, I know. I was like, yeah, inspiring things all around. Everybody's get side hustles around here. Amy, you have a podcast. Yeah, I'm about to side hustle that today. Got a couple kids, side hustle on them. Morgan number two, do you have a side hustle? Yeah, I do the sheep magazine.
Starting point is 01:45:38 What? I designed the Hampshire Sheep magazine. What? Say that again? What is that? I did it in college and then I just kind of kept doing it. I don't know what that is. It's called, like, you know, Hampshire.
Starting point is 01:45:50 Sheeps? Oh, she's like the animal sheep. You design a sheep magazine? Yes. I have like many of them that I've done. That's cool. This is a joke? I don't know.
Starting point is 01:46:00 She looks serious. There's a magazine that's only sheep? Yeah. They're called Hamshire. It's the American Hampshire Sheep Association. Are they selling sheep or what is the magazine? It's like trading sheep and all that. You designed a magazine to sell sheep and we had no idea?
Starting point is 01:46:14 For the FFA, kind of along those lines. Huh. Okay. Lunchbox, do you have a side hustle? I mean, we got the podcast, but besides that, I'm still working on my side hustle. I got a lot of, you know, lines out there, but nothing's bit yet. All right. Eddie?
Starting point is 01:46:30 Yeah, yeah. I got the surlors' podcasts, raging idiots. I got my kids. There you go. There you go. Foster parent. Bobby, what's your side hustle? Side hustle is like a way you're making money on the side.
Starting point is 01:46:41 Oh, not making money on the foster right now. Or the podcast. Oh, yeah. We don't make money on the podcast. So it's just that. It's just that. So no side hustle yet. All right.
Starting point is 01:46:49 We're going to head out. Appreciate everybody for being here. Amy, what's going on today? Oh, today I have a lot of side hustling going on. I had to get my lashes done. Yeah, I went to Amy's lash appointment a few weeks ago. She goes to this place called Lash here in Nashville. Why did you go? Because I wanted to watch. He was very curious. Because she lays down on.
Starting point is 01:47:08 You just sat there and watch? Well, not all of it. He filmed it. I'm a boy here. Okay. I wanted to see what, and Amy lays down, and they go to work on her eyelashes. The girl's name is Amy that also does Amy's eyelashes. And so I was just like, what are? happens here. It's very scientific.
Starting point is 01:47:23 And Amy's really, really good. But we normally listen to a podcast or that's where when I schedule conference calls because my eyes are closed. I can't do anything. So I lay there, either take a nap, do a call, or listen to a podcast. Yeah, it's a long time. I didn't say the whole time.
Starting point is 01:47:37 Yeah. That would be weird. I got a couple things. I got to go to the allergist today. The world is full of pollen. It's pollen, pollen, everywhere. How much more do you have to go back? Well, I just got to go to that thing where they They watch me take a pill.
Starting point is 01:47:51 Oh, okay. Yeah. Which is not going to be awkward at all. All right, everybody, gather around. I'm going to take a pill. Three, two, one. No need for the happy. Yeah, you did it.
Starting point is 01:48:01 So, yeah, see it tomorrow. Have a good day. The show Instagram is at Bobby Bone Show. Thank you so much. You can be anywhere in the world, but we're happy to hear. Thank you. Service opens doors.
