All right, this is a whole special show. Oh, that's funny. Yes, because there were so many rejected segments. And I told Mike, we should just keep pages of them.
Starting point is 00:03:23 And once a month, do this as a show. Oh, pages. Man. That's how bad the stuff was? No, not at all, but most... It's a numbers game, right? You send in a lot of stuff and... Someone doesn't get picked up.
Starting point is 00:03:34 Most doesn't get picked up. Or, I put it on my list, and then I don't get to it, and I go, I gotta replace it with something in my head. I'm like, oh, you know, it would be better. Better replace my stuff in my head, too, sometimes. Part of the game. Here we go. The first ever rejected segment show.
Starting point is 00:03:47 Here we go. I mean, there are one, two, three. We're gonna go over every single one. Yeah, we got like a little time here. Okay, here we go. How many have there? I have four pages. Oh my gosh.
Starting point is 00:04:00 Okay. Terrible. Up first, and you can do this segment if you'd like. Amy wrote to me, I think I'm growing a tail. That's true. Or I have a tail. Like for real, for real? It's like a, well, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:04:12 Other people that I've talked to, they don't have it. My tailbone feels like a tail. It comes out. It protrudes. Mm-hmm. Yeah. Through your, you know, they come through your skin. It didn't go through your skin.
Starting point is 00:04:23 No. It just sticks out. Yeah. And then so I was. even trying to touch, like, yeah, my friend was feeling mine and she was like, whoa, I don't know. I was like, yeah, does that feel weird? Because I noticed certain yoga things that I do, everybody else is able to do them with ease. For me, they're very painful. And I'm like, why am I the only one that can't do these exercises? And I realized it's because that bone right
Starting point is 00:04:46 there, like for me, sticks out. Like, it's a tail. So you have a tail. And there you go. It's a rejected segment. You can hit it, right? You don't feel it? No. No, I don't. That's a matter of fact. Do you have the button that goes, rejected segments? I can grab it. Next up.
Starting point is 00:05:05 From Ramundo. Ramundo won't let his wife wear these articles of clothing. If you guys want it, I can bring it. Go ahead. What is it? Okay, so it's the new, the girls are wearing the bell bottoms, and then they're also, so they're like shorter, you know, they're kind of high waters. And then they're also wearing these, the shoes that are almost like, what are they called? not stage shoes, but
Starting point is 00:05:30 not stripper shoes, but platforms. Thank you lunch. I didn't know you knew those. Anyways. Yeah, you go to the club, you see them. But for whatever reason, the 1960s, 1970s style is hard right now, especially in Nashville. You go out on the weekends. Every girl's wearing those bell bottoms.
Starting point is 00:05:45 And for whatever reason, it reminds me of my mom. Because when I was a kid, I remember grabbing on her bell bottoms. I remember seeing her in the platform shoes. And that type of clothing reminds me on my mother. So I said to my wife, can you just please not do that because really I start to think of my mom when girls are dressing like that. So it just a, and she said, yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:03 So she's not doing any of the new trendy clothes. But that's the reason. It's better than I thought. Yeah. I don't know what decade this look. I know that bell bottoms that are long come from that era, but like this short bell bottom look that he's talking about. I don't know where it's coming from, but I like it. I have some.
Starting point is 00:06:21 Yeah, too. I asked Caitlin not to dress like my dad. I was like, I don't wear a clear see-through clothes that I can't tell, like, you know, Oh, okay, because dad wasn't A right. Okay, but um... Rejected second. Rejected segments.
Starting point is 00:06:35 Here's one from Mike D. He said, Lunchbox's goal has been to make the news. I got it. He finally makes the news by faking his own death. We put out a fake news story that Lunchbox from the Bobby Bone show has passed. Bam, he makes the news.
Starting point is 00:06:47 Lunchbox then also gets to see all the country artists who react to his death. Oh, man. We later reveals. Oh, I like that. Oh, yeah. And then you make the news again for faking your own.
Starting point is 00:06:57 at sike. That could work. It's a double whammy. Can you get arrested for that? I don't know, but I think there's a lot of trust. Yeah, like when he really does die, no one's going to pay attention. And I think faking a death can be a bit insensitive. Yes.
Starting point is 00:07:18 Yeah. Especially after Amy's dad dies, then we fake a dad? I would laugh, though. My dad would laugh if lunchbox made the news for this. Here's another. Mike D, always, his bits are just so escalated, like next level. If we only can do one or two a month, that's a huge win because his bits are great, right? But here's a couple that we didn't get to do.
Starting point is 00:07:37 From Mike D. Eddie and Lunchbox have been very competitive towards each other lately. Why not settle it once and for all? We put on head-to-head in a competition with three categories. Trivia. Cool? Depends what kind of trivia. Can't be music trivia.
Starting point is 00:07:50 Sports. Okay, I'm in. Talent. Oh, man. Yeah, easy. Okay. And grab bag. Best two of the three.
Starting point is 00:07:56 And whoever loses has to get a vasectomy. What? Of a sec? I mean, I'm down. I don't care. I'll get a vasectomy. I don't know. He doesn't have one.
Starting point is 00:08:03 I thought Eddie already had one. No, his wife got it. Well, not a vasectomy. She got her tubes tied. I mean, I have nothing to lose on that. I'm down. You would get a vasectomy if you lost the challenge. If you pay for it, sure, why not?
Starting point is 00:08:15 Does lunchbox want more kids? Yeah, I'm not doing that. There's no chance. There you go. Here's another one from Mike D. Travis Barker posted a video of Courtney Kardashian sucking his finger. We blindfold lunchbox
Starting point is 00:08:26 And then each of us go up and he sucks our fingers He has to guess who the finger is That's disgusting I don't want to play that game It's kind of funny We can't do that Okay Rejected segment
Starting point is 00:08:39 There is Rejected segments Eddie writes in I want an Eddie award He wanted us to have a whole segment About an award named after him Yeah there's an existing award Somewhere up in New York State or whatever
Starting point is 00:08:54 called the Eddies, and it's like an acting award or a movie award, and I'm like, that's kind of cool. So I think I should be a part of it. I don't know if we know people up there, but I should host it. Oh, you should actually go and be at the Eddie Awards. Oh, yeah, yeah. I thought you wanted the name an award after you. No, no, no, it's already got a name. And apparently up there, it's definitely got some status behind it. So if you win an Eddie, you're really cool. But I should be the face behind that. It's the Thomas Edison Music Award. They call them the Eddies. Oh, well, that's different then. Thomas Edison is bigger than I am. So, yeah, it's not, it's Edison. Yeah, but they The deal to Eddie's.
Starting point is 00:09:25 Eddies. Eddies. Yeah, the Eddies. I don't know. Maybe we get them on the phone, see what the deal is. What I'm talking about. Get Eddie up there. Next up.
Starting point is 00:09:33 I mean, I have like three pages of just bird bits from Amy that I've not talked about on the air. What are they? I thought we talked all about those. Hey, you send in a hundred. One makes it. Wow. Okay. Amy wrote, how to lure in a painted bunting bird?
Starting point is 00:09:47 She wanted to talk about that. Yes, because they're the most beautiful bird ever. Have you ever seen a paint, painted bunting bird? It's hard to say. Well, it is so pretty, and I will be lucky if I get to see one in my lifetime.
Starting point is 00:10:01 Multiple people have messaged me saying they've seen it once. Like, nobody's really ever seen them. To attract these stunning flyers offer millet seed and a feeder with perches. She wrote that down. But she wanted to talk about this on the show.
Starting point is 00:10:14 She thought a lot of our listeners would like us talking about how to lure in a painted bunting bird. I saw one. I bought the millet. Where? Right here. It's blue, yellow.
Starting point is 00:10:22 No, I'm not on the internet. in your backyard or in the wild. Listen, whenever, if I post something about my birds, people reply, this is the content I'm here for. I told you, you can corner the bird niche. There's no one doing it, so yeah. You can. I don't think it's for the show.
Starting point is 00:10:40 Hey, if I get a painted bird or painted bunting. Can you shoot it and then mount it? No. No, but if I see it and I were to film it, that would probably be huge. Rejected segment. Okay. Rejected segments
Starting point is 00:10:55 Ramundo writes I was listening to the song How They Remember You by Rascal Flats I thought man, it's kind of morbid but interesting We could do it as a bit Take it away Romondo Yeah I mean now that I think of it
Starting point is 00:11:07 It was so terrible Now I see why I was rejected But I said if you were to die today How would you be remembered So I mean like around the room It'd be like well dang man I haven't really done anything in the last couple months I guess I'd be known just kind of from
Starting point is 00:11:19 Maybe my marriage I mean that's how it would be a very a very depressing segment because everybody would say all their shortcomings and things they wanted to do probably. But how they'd be a remember if you really think about it, you're like, dang, what have I done lately? Your cameos. So I mean, maybe that's it. Oh, he started to really get the cameo, but then sadly was taken too soon. But yes, he was a great husband for five months, but was taken too soon. I believe for the average person, you'd be like there's so many other things you wanted to do. That's why this segment would have been funny as well as depressing.
Starting point is 00:11:51 More depressing, I think. Yeah, yeah, yeah. We didn't do that one. Okay. Here's a will at Uber. This is from Mike D. We have lunchbox dress up in an orange jumpsuit and a pair of broken handcuffs. Yes. Yes.
Starting point is 00:12:06 Yeah. He orders an Uber to see if they'll pick them up and drive him to the radio station. And he's handcuffed. You want to talk about the type of content we need right now. Like, that's some good stuff. That's like stuff we would have previously done back in the day. And that would have been hilarious. You mean back in the day when lunchbox got arrested?
Starting point is 00:12:22 Yeah, do you mean back in the day when I got sued for a million bucks or lunchbox was in jail or I was getting sued? I mean, maybe we just need to loosen up a little bit. Rejected segment. Okay. Lunchbox, thank you. Oh, you're good. Hit that, sorry. Rejected segments.
Starting point is 00:12:38 Lunchbox writes in he's worried that his kid is a wimp. Oh, dude. I mean, he's just, he's just, he doesn't, he gets mad like when the one-year-old pushes him. I'm like, dude, you are a year and a half older than him, you're bigger than him. What is your problem? Push him back. He kept playing the entire time at the soccer game this weekend and that is loud.
Starting point is 00:13:03 No, no, no. And then we go to the soccer game and there's cheering and they bang drums. He's like, oh, loud, loud. And he puts his hands over his ears the whole game and he's scared. It's too loud in the stadium. Maybe you need to take him to the doctor. Maybe he don't take his ears. Okay.
Starting point is 00:13:17 What do you mean? His ear is fine. He hears me every time. Hey, go pick that up. Go do that. Let's go eat dinner. He can hear me, but he, oh, too loud, too loud. And the one-year-old at soccer games is banging on the chairs going crazy.
Starting point is 00:13:28 Oh, too loud. So he might be on Wimp. All right. Rejected segment. Rejected segments. From Mike D. Let's play guest to credit score. We all write down our credit scores and have to match the member of the show with their credit score.
Starting point is 00:13:42 Oh, man. I don't even know my credit score. Well, you have to look it up. That'd be a fun bit just to know my credit score. Eddie wrote one. Scuba is trying to be my son's agent. Uh-huh. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:54 Scuba sent me an audition for a Disney Plus show, and they're looking for a lead role, and he's 13 years old, 12 to 13, and he described the role and everything. He's like, here, man, for your son so he can be an actor. I'm like, Scova, I don't want my child to be a child actor. Like, he's just, he's in school. He's normal. And Scoba's like, dude, think about it. This could be really cool.
Starting point is 00:14:14 Like, if he makes it, you may never have to work. And I'm like, what cut do you get? So I started thinking, like, all right, scuba is. just trying to make my kid famous. Does your kid want to be on camera? No, he just wants to direct. And funny, when scuba sent that to me, I had it up in my computer. My son walks by my computer and reads it. He's like, Dad, what is this? I'm like, oh, it's something I was thinking about I was messing with him. I'm thinking about sending you to this or whatever. He's like, sending me to what? And I'm like, it's an audition, open audition. And you just go and maybe
Starting point is 00:14:41 you get the role. What is it? I don't want to do that, dad. That's crazy. Don't ever send me up with for things like that. So I did, I mean, I was obviously messing with him, but that was pretty funny. He doesn't want to be on camera at all. No, he just wants to direct. He doesn't want to act or be famous or anything like that. He likes to be really private. That must mean he has a lot of love at home.
Starting point is 00:14:58 Really? Mm-hmm. Break that down. Well, I use me as an example. I never got really loved, so I went and searched for it in other ways by performing. Oh. And I tried to find my love through crowds or feedback or success. Where I look at someone like Caitlin who has a family that is extremely healthy and loving,
Starting point is 00:15:18 and she has no interest in being famous at all. sometimes she'll hop on stuff with me or she'll just humor me and do stuff. But she's like, I don't have the desire to be famous. I have none, none. And I'm like, oh, I do. I need love from everywhere. Wow, that's deep. I never thought about that.
Starting point is 00:15:33 But that's, I mean, then you have a lunchbox who wants to be famous. And so I guess he wasn't loved. He was loved. I had a loving family, but I want to be super famous. So, yep, I don't know. Maybe I wasn't as loved as much as I thought. Well, I want a rejected segment. Well, today went right after race.
Starting point is 00:15:50 segments. Ray said he heard an interesting rumor about an artist that will shock us about piercings? Here we go. Yeah, I'm not going to name the artist, but guys walking on music row, we see him, maybe not that often, but there is a country artist, it's a male, and there's a body part that is pierced in it. There's a contrary to that has their nipples pierced, okay? A guy. A guy. Oh, I got it. You know? I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. We've recently seen him in the studio, I'd say, in the last seven months. He's been in the last three months. I'll say three months. Yeah. But I don't know if that's out there, but I've heard...
Starting point is 00:16:23 Do you know? Yeah, I've known forever. You've seen him? No, I've not seen it. I've always heard. You've heard, like, people talk about this. Uh-huh. Who was in here? I mean, there's like a lot.
Starting point is 00:16:34 Well, name a couple. Well? See forth. Brothers Osborne? I'm not saying yes or no. Okay. But it's not Brothers Osborne. But I want to stop there.
Starting point is 00:16:44 Well, it's not Jake. But I'm stopping there. No more. No more. I'm saying yes or no. Okay, okay. But there is a dude that has... has his nipples pierced.
Starting point is 00:16:51 Does he have a girlfriend or a wife? Ugh. Dang it. No, answer that question. That'll help us. Yes. Oh, he does. I got a guess.
Starting point is 00:17:01 Thank you, Luke Brian. I'm out. I'm out of this one. We have two more rejected segments on this very special episode. From Mike D. Shot caller trivia. No. For undiscovered artists.
Starting point is 00:17:14 Oh. Undiscovered artists. He said, we brought in Canaan Cox at Bobby Med. And he's working as a server. We get hit up all the time. by undiscovered artists asking for a chance to come play on the show. So here's what we can do. We invited an artist to come play that we think is good
Starting point is 00:17:27 with the stipulation that they have to wear a dog shock collar during their performance and randomly be shocked during their performance in one of their songs, but they won't know when the shock is coming, so we get singing and screaming. Mike Dee, that is genius. Yeah, that's fun. Genius.
Starting point is 00:17:42 I mean, what other show has done that? I mean, every artist would be up for it too. Yeah, they would. They would care. They would line up at the door. Bones, this is a good bit. Do it. I'm not bringing someone up.
Starting point is 00:17:53 What is it? Sing it or scream it? Yeah. No, sing it and scream it. And finally, in our very special edition of this podcast, from Eddie, a guy keeps hitting on my wife at the car wash. This is true. I mean, this is the fourth time. My wife's been going to the car wash cleaning your car.
Starting point is 00:18:11 And she comes back with these free car wash tickets. And she's like, here, I got you free car wash tickets. I'm like, well, how do you keep getting those? because I too go to this car wash by myself, and I never get free car wash tickets. But there's a guy there that says, hey, you doing all right? Here, let me clean your window real quick. By the way, here's two free car wash tickets. And she says, he's really sweet.
Starting point is 00:18:31 He's really nice. It's the same guy. I see him every time. I'm like, he's hitting on you. Am I giving you car wash tickets? Does she think he's cute? No. No, she doesn't think he's cute.
Starting point is 00:18:42 What do you look like? I have no idea. I've not asked. Is he like you? Is it your type? What? My type? Or does he look like me?
Starting point is 00:18:48 Like, should I be worried about it? Is what you're saying? Yeah. I have no idea. I'm assuming he's older. Why don't you go confront him? Because you go to the same car wash. You need to go and be like, hey, dude, why do you keep giving my wife free car washes?
Starting point is 00:19:00 You don't give me free car washes? She's taken. Yeah, why not hiding the back seat? And then when he hands with the car, jump out, whoa, fool, that's my wife. I don't even know that that's your approach to go, she's taken. You go, I would like some free car washes too. With or without her? Without her.
Starting point is 00:19:12 And he'll be like, dude, I'm not into you. You're talking about. I'm not giving you free car washes. Oh, you don't know. I don't know. So you don't even ask for a description when she comes home and talks about this dude? No. Because she's white.
Starting point is 00:19:25 Yes? You're Hispanic. Yes. Did she date other Hispanic guys before you? No, I was her first boyfriend. Oh, ever. Mm-hmm. So she just...
Starting point is 00:19:31 You're her first and only boyfriend. What? Why is that so funny? Rejected segment. Hey, why are you laughing? Rejected segments. Oh, that's true. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:41 Like what? She shouldn't laugh at that. I know. I'm not laughing. Mike, were you... I know she was your first girlfriend. Yeah. Were you her first boyfriend?
Starting point is 00:19:50 Yeah, first. Both first. You're getting married. Yep. Eddie, was she your first girlfriend? No. No. No, no, Eddie. I'm not laughing.
Starting point is 00:19:58 I'm proud of it, but no, she was not my first girlfriend. Okay. Oh, boy. Oh, here's one more. This is kind of Eddie and Lunchbox together. Eddie sent it in, but it's about lunch, too. Lunchbox wants to start a business here in Nashville that he saw in Vegas. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:14 Since he came back from Ray's Bachelor Party, He said it's the best business ever. You can make so much money if he starts a downtown. There's this bar. I don't even know if you should say it. I thought we were actually going to start this business. Is it a hanging bar? Yes.
Starting point is 00:20:27 I've seen it on Broadway before. Oh, it's already there? Yeah, last year I saw it out there. Were you going on it for as long as your candidate turns? Two minutes. I've never seen it on Broadway, but in Vegas they have it on the strip and you pay $20. And if you can hold onto this bar for two minutes, you get $100 cold, hard cash. And everybody steps up thinking they can do it and they can't do it.
Starting point is 00:20:44 And you just make money, hand over fist. seen it here. Thousands of bucks at night. You have? Yes. Have you tried it? No. Um, there we go.
Starting point is 00:20:52 I don't think so. I saw big guys try and lose. Yeah, I don't think anyone can do it except the guy running the place. Obviously, it's not going to be easy. No, we watch people in Vegas just fail miserably time and time again. That doesn't mean you can't have another one, but there was a guy doing that here before. Yeah, but people have come to our stand before theirs. We're famous.
Starting point is 00:21:09 They're not. There you go. I thought you were going to do some, have some big ideas this year. I've had, I've had some big ideas. But ideas don't pay the bills. Like you have to actually have an idea and then you have to actually form a plan and then invest your money or get other people's money that trust you to invest in. I don't understand what's happened here. Yeah, I know.
Starting point is 00:21:27 I've been trying. I've been looking at things and it hadn't worked out. You've been looking at things and it hasn't worked out. Yeah. Like what do you've been looking at? I mean, I thought about going into competition with the new vending machine upstairs. You still can. Putting one down here?
Starting point is 00:21:43 No, no, no. I'll put my stuff on the table and you just VINMO. me because up there half a thing of Pringles, $2.6. I put it out there for $1.50. Which one's they going to buy? A small bag of Doritos up there, $1.65. For a candy bar, it's a... I hope they steal it like he still...
Starting point is 00:21:58 It's a $1.75 for one normal-sized candy bar. That's outrageous. Then why not do it? I'm going... I'm going to have to go to Costco. Get the stuff, put it on there, and just say, hey, Vimmo me. Don't worry. Don't buy this crap.
Starting point is 00:22:11 Vimowing you would be faster than trying to figure out whatever it is. That machine up there is nutty. Yeah. Amy and I walked up there to get a little. something? I took cash. I was ready. And we couldn't even log get into the machine. We didn't know how to pay. Exactly. I won't have those problems. My Venmo is open 24-7. There you go. Well, this has been a very special edition of Rejected segments. We hope you guys enjoyed it. Thank you for listening. That was the Rejected Segment Show.
Starting point is 00:22:38 All right. If you have ever dealt with a traditional home security company, you know the drill.
