is on a show on MTV. It's called Becoming a Pop Star. It's on tonight at 9 p.m. Central. Her name is Lexi Hayden. Lexi, good morning. How are you? Hi, good morning, Bobby. I'm good. How are you?

Are you trying to be a pop star, or are you trying to be a country? Or is that just the name of the show, and there's all kinds of music on there? It's the name of the show. I am the only country singer on the show. I will say that. So how did you get on this show?

Because it's Joe Jonas, Becky G. like what was the kind of the protocol for getting on this show specifically? So I was discovered on TikTok. They wanted to represent all genres, but I ended up being the only national artist on the show, which was really cool. And it was actually, it had a different name when they were casting me. It was called like the MTV Music Video Project.

So I never thought it was going to be called Becoming a Pop Star. Which makes sense because she's trying to be a country store I want to hear a clip of her new song right here What's the name of this song Lexie? There she is. Our old intern. Lexi Hayden, who is on the show, and I hope she wins, and that would be really cool. It's time to open up the mailbag. You send an email, and we read it all the air. It's something we call Bobby's Mailbag, yeah. Hello, Bobby. My wife and I had to find a new tax person this year because we opened up a small business.

After a meeting with several people, we decided on a CPA who happens to live in our neighborhood. He just sent us to finish return to review, and he had us getting back a lot more. than I thought we would. I looked into it and noticed he had missed over $33,000 in income that would have put us into a higher tax bracket. He also miscalculated my business's total income. Thankfully, I caught up before he filed. I'm hoping he will fix it.

I haven't heard back from him yet. I went on Google to leave him a negative review. Oh. But I'm not sure since he lives in our neighborhood. My question is, when is it okay to leave a negative review for someone on Google? I don't want to hurt another small business, but messing up several major things like this seems like it would be an appropriate time

to leave a bad review. What would you do? Seth from Central Texas. So here's my theory on bad reviews. Oh, Seth. You shouldn't leave one because you're emotional. If you leave one, it is because what happened to you

could actually hurt someone else. I think it almost needs to be a pattern as well. This guy could have had a bad day. He messed up. He really messed up. That's terrible. we've all messed up. I got fined a million dollars once on the air.

And I hope that that's not the one thing I'm reviewed on. This is bad. But we all can admit that. It's not a good thing. Not a good thing. But I would also imagine that sometimes accountants mess up and this happens and it doesn't mean that. So I would not leave a negative review

unless he reacted poorly to you going, hey, I caught this. But one instance that isn't positive, I would not leave a bad review. And I think that's all of it. That's all I need to say about this. I wouldn't allow this. Even though it wasn't good for you,

we don't know that this wasn't a one-off. And I don't think he should try to take his business down because of it. Is that anything to do with being a neighbor? I mean, he's right there down the street. No. Nope. I think that comes into play if you do leave the review. Okay.

Because you have to put your name or at least your account unless you get a bad. That could be terrible. Yeah. I'm going to go, don't leave a negative review. Let's give him some grace. and just move on and I hire him again. Yeah, like next year, you know not to use him for your taxes. Move on.

And if someone asks you, how was your experience with him? You can say, not great. Yeah, you can't. Negative review people, I guess if it's, yes, if it's warranted, but like if you didn't have a good experience, then you just don't hire him. You don't need to put the weight on your shoulders to tell the rest of the world not to use someone for services.

Ever since we talked about it, I've gotten nice reviews, but then also more one stars because they're like, oh, lunchbox for life, one star. And I'm like, wait, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on. and we ran into this kid that he goes to school with, and the kid was there working. And Stevenson was like, well, where do I apply? I need this job. Publix is a grocery store chain where we live. Right. But Steven's 11? He's 11.

He'll be 12 in August, and this kid is 14. How old do you have to be to work? 14, found out that day. Oh, I thought it was 15. Yeah, well, this kid's, I don't know, maybe this kid got special circumstances. I have no idea, but he said he works two hours during the week days. Like if he has this to school day, two hour shifts. Weekends, seven hour shifts.

And I'm like... That kid's got money. Good for him. Well, all I'm thinking about as a mom is like, your kid's busy for seven hours, gone out of the house, and he's making money. So what you... It's like a dream. What'd you tell your son? Well, obviously, we need to wait until you can apply, but if you can find somewhere else to work, let's do it.

So it's going to have to work, like I used to have to work. You have to go and beg people just to hire you to do jobs. Right. It has to be off the record. There's no legally like, it has to be. Off the record sounds shady. That does. When you go door to door and say, hey, can I mow your yard?

Yeah. And we've thought about in my neighborhood, let me tell you, people near us, they have a very, like, I feel like our yard gets judged. Like, my neighbors have high standards for their yard. So I'm like, I don't know that that's going to work out. So I don't know. Wait, does anybody here have anything they need to hire him for? Seven hours on a Saturday. I don't have seven hours of work.

He's available. But it's good he's learning. He's all about it. He can work, money. Yeah, Stasheera, she is 14. And once she drives, she's already, like, asked this one clothing store that's close to our house. She's already asked for, like, how old she has to be to work there. And she's ready to get a job as well.

I could probably find him a couple hours of work on the weekend if you want me to. Okay. I do want you to. Okay. Let me work on that. It's just a value of money. Like Eddie's kids are dealing with this now where it comes to when you buy them stuff at Sonic, right? They're learning the value of the dollar.

I mean, you know, parenting is a lesson. So I pick them up probably two or three times a week from school. And almost every day they say, hey, can we go to Sonic Dad? Because I guess their mom does that. So I'm like, look, no, guys, no. We don't want to spend money today. And then my eight-year-old goes, I'll pay for it. Well, okay, now you're talking.

So then everyone else in the car agrees. Fine. I'll pay for it with my own money. All right, let's go to Sondi. No, no, no, no. They're all paying for their own. They each agree to pay for their own. Oh, got it. They're all paying for their own. So we go and we order, hit the red button. All right, what do you guys want?

All of a sudden, they started asking for prices. Whoa, whoa, whoa, dad. How much is the small one versus the large one? That's right. Now you're talking. So they all ordered the small version of what they initially wanted. One of them wanted a burger. They're like, I'll change it to just tater tots, dad.

Just give it a little tater tots. And so they got their order. They ate their food. The next day I pick them up from school, I'm like, anybody who want to go to Sonic? They're like, nah, we're good. We're good, Dad. That's awesome. That was cool to me.

Did they treasure every bite in those smalls? Absolutely. They drank every bit of that drink. That's a good learning lesson. They bought their own Sonic. Are you going to make them do that more? Or like what's the plan? No, I think, I mean, I will treat them mostly to Sonic.

I'll pay for it. But if there's one of those weeks where it's like three times they want to go, uh-uh, you want to go. You want to go. pretty good. Let's see how it goes. My kids are trying to understand tax. Because I said, if you get a job at a place, like if you get allowance for something, like,

we don't tax it. I'm trying to understand that too. Right. But if you could teach me that I'm struggling with that. I wasn't. Me too. But I started to wonder, like, if they get paid a certain amount, should we just go ahead and be like, okay, here's what you made, but actually here's your take home? No, not if it's... But they need

to learn. I'm with Eddie. I should charge them rent to. You should charge them rent to then. I do need them to be prepared. Like, I'm with Eddie. It's hard. I think the first lesson, though, is making money and how much you actually don't have, even when you have it. The second lesson is taxes. Let's teach, let's, like I'm part of this. You are. Let's teach them first about how far a dollar won't go.

I know. And then after that, even less once it's taxed. Everything for them is like already, credit cards already entered in on the account and they just order it or they see plastic. And they have no concept of actually how much money is. So like somehow I need to I'm glad we're having this conversation I am inspired Amy I need all the tips

So I want to shout out to Leon High School in Tallahassee because they just wrap something that I think a lot of other schools should start doing. They have positively Post-It Week. and it's something that they do annually where students like just put up fluorescent post-its all over the school with positive messages. Like you are smart, you're awesome, you're beautiful. Some like kind of light like that, some a little bit more deep and meaningful. And so they said it's just a great way to encourage the entire school. And like I said, that week just wrapped up.

And their hope is by spreading the word that other schools will adopt this. Love it. And I love the fact that there's so much positivity happening. What I hate is for the custodian who's like, I got to clean. up so many post-its over the next week. Hopefully all the kids gather together and they pick up all the posts. You would think, right? But you know some of them aren't. And you know there's the occasional

This woman has so many shoes show up to her house that she didn't buy and they're all really, really tacky. Unwanted shoes started showing up on her doorstep last summer. And it doesn't stop. So the other story I read too was this woman had bought a bunch stuff for like a buck at a where they open up the door and there's like you can buy all, like a garage hunting. What do they call that? Storage wars. But yeah, this is un-out-open packages that can't be delivered because the address is wrong. People don't live there.

Bottom all. So she buys them for a dollar. She gets a gift card. She gets camera. She gets clothes. That's a show. I want to do that. Some of it's junk.

But a lot of it, she pays a dollar each box and she gets $100 gift card, this, and then she sells everything. That's a show. Where do we go get these boxes? I don't know. For a dollar. Well, if everybody starts doing it, it'll all be garbage then. Right.

But all this stuff is being sent. It just reminds me of the story where Amy had stuff sent to our house. that she just moved. I'll tell you that story coming up in a second. Amy had something sent to her house a few times, and she was like, nope, I'm moving. So that story, and then why Amy's being called to creep on the internet as well.

This reminds me when Amy was having pizzas delivered her house. You didn't order them. No. It kept being sent to your house. Yes. It was so creepy to you that you moved. Yeah, like, because they were under my name. And you moved. They were paid for.

That's so creepy. It was weird. She moved. Yeah. And we don't know who sent the pizzas. We still think it was lunchbox. And now he won't admit it because she moved. Her house.

Yeah, I mean, it completely changed the trajectory of my life. Life. My living situation. All over some pepperoni pizza. Let me ask this question. Oh. Oh, no one's better. What kind of pizzas were they?

What kind of pizzas were they? They were a variety. They changed. Even they changed locations or type of pizza place. Sometimes it was Papa John's. That's got to be lunchbox. That's got to be you. It doesn't have to be me.

Okay. There's a lot of people. on this world. Whenever this show ends, whenever it is, whenever we're doing our last show. So probably about six months? Possibly. What? Will you tell the truth about this on our last show?

Mama Mia, Papa beer, pizza, yeah. I was trying to... No? So anyway, that was creepy, right? Yes. We can admit that you left your house because it was creepy. Now, just to kind of turn it around a little bit, Amy's now been accused of being creepy on the internet.

Uh-oh. With some dude was like, so tell the story what you were selling. Yeah, so I've been selling a lot of things on Facebook marketplace is actually kind of awesome, and I have this rug up, and a guy replied, and he was asking for more pictures, and I was talking to another friend about how you can, like,

video chat on... through this. So I thought the pictures were not doing the rug justice and I want to sell it for a certain amount. And so I thought if I videoed it and explained things, I, live video, not sent a video. You wanted to be on video chat. Only fans. Amy's starting her only fans. Like FaceTime, but through the Facebook, like the video chat. So I was like, hey, we could video chat and I could show you and explain and like even you could see actually what it's like and compare to other things. And he was creeped out by it and said that he thought videoing with me would be inappropriate and

photos were just fine. And he made me feel like such a creepster and I feel like I didn't do anything wrong but then I like all night I was like am I creep? I was not trying to just video with him for no reason but he quote unquote found it inappropriate

did you see his picture from I have no idea with me no I wasn't trying to video with him for any other reason that I'm trying to sell this rug I just thought either I thought originally FaceTime but then I would have to exchange numbers with him and to me that felt creepy so I try not to be creepy and say we can do it through the app

Oh yeah a lot of ways to do that huh you know what I'm saying boys? That's funny you got called inappropriate by some dude on Facebook yeah I like this because now you know what it's like to be a guy and always think that you're being creepy when there's nothing happening correct yeah yeah like I thought if roles were reversed that for sure if a guy asked me to video chat to look at a rug, I'd be like, okay, creepy person, but I know that I'm not

being creepy. And so does Eddie. He knows he's not being creepy. Correct. Me too. I'm never creepy. That's not true. But so you haven't sold the rug yet? No. I bet if you got on video and did you can tell a lot. You know what I understand? Here's a voicemail from last night. Morning studio. Well, they're developing ticks. That's an example of a neurological disorder that is coming from being on the app too much. It's prolonged use of social media and TikTok. I'm not on TikTok a whole lot. I look at it every day. I don't do we release talks anymore.

Your wife told you what? We were dating about six years and she's like, hey, if we're not going to get married, we should probably move on. And you got to make that decision. How quickly did you make that decision? Fast over the weekend. Ramundo, you're with your wife for how long? Six years it was total, yeah, that we were dating. And she said what to you?

In June, you need to make up your mind if you want to propose. And then June passed, and then another June came, and then I did it in December. What? Yeah. Just a tester? She didn't enforce that whole tomato. I know. I wonder if they would have gone on this TV show how it would have ended up.

I don't think Eddie and his wife would have gone on the show because Eddie's kind of like mine. they don't want anything to do with TV or cameras. I think Ray and Bay, though, they both. They love that. I think you guys want to want to crush the show. Yeah, it should be down. And then had a spinoff. Ultimately, ever after.

She needs to put a list of all the people that donated out. Yeah, every single person. Is she getting all the credit for this? That's great. Love it for the bar staff.
