Welcome to Thursday show, Morning Studio.
Morning.
Eddie's back.
Abby's back.
Good to see you guys here.
Hey, good to see you.
What a day, what a day.
All right, let's go around the room.
He admitted that he's cheating on his friendship with me, and I told him I'll be cheating
back.
He just has no clue when that will be.
Here he is.
Producer Eddie.
Bones, I would like to make a request.
I would like to move lunchbox to the sick Mike today
or whenever he gets his illness fixed.
Are you sick again?
No.
Even with the microdosing?
No, my microdosing is working great.
He has some kind of disgusting wart on his finger and it's right here by me.
Like, it's what?
Two feet away from my shoulder and it's going to come to me.
It's going to get me infected and I want him in the illness seat.
I don't know if a war classifies as illness chair, but let's talk about it for a second.
What's up?
I guess I do have a growth on my fingers.
It's disgusting.
Oh, wow.
What is that?
I don't know.
Do you see it from your chair?
It's a ward.
You can get that frozen off.
Yeah, is that contagious?
Absolutely.
Is a wart contagious?
I'd always heard.
I know.
I never really knew.
I don't think it, if I were guessed, I'm not a doctor of words,
Dr. Letters.
I would guess that you probably can't touch this ward and get it because it's a virus.
Yeah.
Hey, how do those, you know, when you do the dirty warts?
I think that's a different part of your body.
inside of your mouth and that skin
there's dead.
Why does that viruses did spread?
Wards are not considered very contagious.
They can be caught by close skin to skin contact.
The infection can also be treated indirectly
from contaminated objects or surfaces
such as the air. Oh, like the air
over there. Yeah. He just
touched me too. Bones, please put him in a
line. Oh, you can't ward him. Don't ward him.
Well, he says, let me see your hand. But don't ward him.
You can't ward him. Oh, I thought he wanted to touch it. No, I didn't say I want to see it.
I've seen it. Am I going to put him in the wart chair?
But
the sick chair.
Yeah, I mean.
But please don't.
Don't touch him with your ward.
You really could.
If you just rubbed it on him, he could get it.
But it's hard for it to be contagious.
It is huge, too.
Like, what happened?
Did you touch a to toe?
What happened?
What is that?
I don't know, man.
It started growing on my finger.
You ever had war before?
No.
Odd.
Mostly warts.
Yeah, I don't know.
I just started growing on my finger and I just figured it was going to go away.
Just be aware.
It hurts when you touch it.
Oh, you need to get that checked out.
Like, it's.
Yeah.
He's like, I've been peeing blood because of it, but I don't.
You're like, how long has it been growing?
A few weeks.
Oh, that's grown a lot in a few weeks.
You need to go to the doctor.
You have a six finger.
I would go and have that six finger looked at.
It's very tender to the touch.
Yeah, your fingers are tall.
That also sounds sexy.
He wanted to create a profile for Amy on a dating app
and not a day goes by that he doesn't take a nap.
Here he is.
Lunchbox.
Listen, guys, I made you guys watch the stuff and, you know, my wife, who I'm married to,
has never seen the movie of my childhood.
So I wanted to make her watch it, and I brought her review of the stuff.
We all reviewed it yesterday.
It was a movie Lunchbox made us watch at the cinema club.
Here's Lunchbox's wife reviewing the yogurt killing movie stuff.
Here you go.
It was so beautifully 80s.
I actually laughed a lot at how ridiculous it was in a lot of the parts.
Yeah.
So AJ and I weren't crazy to think this movie was unbelievable.
No, you all weren't crazy.
And it was definitely better than Eddie's movie.
Okay.
So how many cups of stuff?
So I loved it.
Five out of five cups of stuff.
Don't listen to our review.
No.
Something we didn't do yesterday when reviewing it was compare the two movies, rope or stuff.
Wow.
What a comparison that is.
You two can't judge if you're two movies.
I mean, I know which one's better.
Amy, if you had to watch one, the rope or the stuff.
What would you watch?
Rope.
Nice.
Yeah.
Yeah, dude.
Better story.
Yeah.
What?
Roep.
What?
Absolutely.
Morgan.
Yeah, rope.
What?
Yeah, rope.
Okay, thank you, lunchbox.
Before she dies, she wants to go on in the Alaskan cruise,
and she finally broke the habit in the morning of hitting her snooze.
Here she is, Amy.
All right, let's play.
You can only choose one.
Like, I'm going to name some things where you get this for free for the rest of your life,
but just one, okay?
So you're going to list a bunch of this stuff.
Yeah.
Go ahead.
Okay, would you like free massages, free house cleaning, free gas, free alcohol,
or free pizza from anywhere?
We get one for the rest of our life.
Unlimited.
Free for the rest of your life.
Do you do them again?
Massages.
Housekeeping or house cleaning.
Sorry, gas, alcohol or pizza.
I don't drink, so no alcohol.
How, I have an electric car.
I have a Bronco too, but I'm okay without gas.
I don't spend a lot of gas anyway.
Are we going to head to all electricics or we're going to have no gas anyway?
This is today.
She says today you get it.
So you head wherever you want.
As of now, you pay for gas.
I would say now.
I pay for some gas, but my money.
Mostly my car's electric.
Housekeeping sounds awesome.
Yeah, it's amazing.
Free for life.
Hey, pizza, dude.
Yeah, I hear pizza, and pizza is probably second.
But I'm going to, not massages, although that's okay.
It's either pizza or housekeeping, but it's going to have to be housekeeping because I would use that more.
I'm not going to have pizza every day because it would not be good for me.
I'm going to go housekeeping, free housekeeping, final answer.
Okay.
Did I win?
Nobody wins.
It is interesting to see what you picked.
Alcohol.
Oh, it's probably
Probably gas, man
Gas is expensive
If you had chef on there
That'd be
No, she can't pick stuff
To put on there
I'm just saying
Yeah, if you have mansions
It's a game
He could have a chef I guess
Well, no, nobody's adding new things
It's not the game
No, no, it's not on there
So I would say free gas
Because it's the most expensive thing on there
How about money?
Free money
Free money
I was on there
Okay, good, your point
I got your point
I choose massages
Over gas
She clas?
So.
Ray Moondale, what you got?
From Mount Pine, Arkansas.
He plays opera shows in town,
and not many people leave with a frown.
Bobby Bones.
Thank you.
So, just a little background.
Weeks ago, Eddie says,
hey, I'm going to watch Counting Crows without you.
And I'm like, what?
That's been our thing for years.
He goes, we're going on another couple.
So I was like, wow, your friendship cheating on me.
That's been our thing.
You have to admit.
Yes.
And then this other couple invited me and my wife,
so she said yes.
You didn't say no, because we're going to go with Bobby.
But you said yes.
I just said yes.
Right.
still going. I think so as I'm now, yeah.
Yeah, cool. So I told Eddie, I said,
hey, I'm going to cheat on you back. I'm not going to tell you
what it is. I'm so rude. I'm still
not telling him what it is. I know. Wait, wait.
Yeah, lunchbox is the only one who knows. What I want to share, though,
is something else. Oh. Eddie, lunchbox knows what I'm doing. I told, he was
I wrote it down. Oh, that's right. I forgot about that. I got a note
from Adam Durrett's, elite singer counting crows.
And he sent this to me, verbatim. Hey, saw an article
that Eddie's going to our show with some other couple, the nerve. Anyway, you know,
you can cheat on him with us. You're on the guest list. Just come with us.
and he says
hook you up come hang out with us before the show
whatever you need come hang out you're going to hang out
with him before the show literally
DM me said to sell the article let's hook up
no no no no we're hooking up now buddy
dang he sent that to you
yeah we're hooking out now buddy hey you should slide in this
DM and be like hey man I heard you're going to be hanging out of Bobby
can I come hang? The nerve
yeah the nerve
what do you think about that
wow wow
what do you think about that hey so
Adam's like reading our articles and stuff that's kind of cool
he came across it he messaged me
About it?
That's pretty cool.
Yeah, it's been pretty cool when I'm back.
Cheating on you with him.
No, that's not.
Dude, come on, man.
Take it easy, all right?
You don't even know what I'm about to do.
Oh, that's not it?
No, in the next couple weeks I'll be announcing how I'm cheating on you.
How many times you're going to cheat on me?
Well, this happened.
He offered me.
He's the only proposition to me.
You can say no.
Hey, Bones, you can reply and be like, no, man, it's okay.
Oh, man, I was like, I'm in.
Let's go.
Let's hang.
So there's that.
In the next couple weeks, I'll be revealing my cheating.
Hang, dang.
you back yes all right glad everybody's here let's open up the mailbag you send an email and we read it on
the air it's something we call bobby's mailbag yeah hello bobby bones i heard you talking about
interviewing people for positions on your show i wanted to get your opinion on this over the last few years
i've changed jobs twice both times to a better position with better pay and i'm considering trying my
luck again soon each time i get a new job i disclose an arrest from when i was 19 years old
It was a misdemeanor that was over 20 years ago.
The charges were dropped after I entered a pretrial program, and I have long since had my record expunged.
Do I need to keep disclosing this to potential employers?
Should I just pretend it never happened?
Even if they ask if I've ever been arrested.
As someone who hires people, would you want to know this information?
Sign, misdemeanor Matt.
Here's the thing, Matt.
Most of these people, too, they ain't really checking.
It ain't going to show up anyway.
And some of them won't even check.
they're checking. So it was also expunged and it was 20 years ago and it's just a misdemeanor.
I've never mentioned it again. It's over. There's no need, it's going to keep you from getting a job.
It could possibly keep you from getting a job when it's not even a factor in your life anymore.
It was such a small thing. If it were a felony and it wasn't expunged, you serve some time. Yeah.
Otherwise, let it go. So like if they look at him and specifically say, so, have you ever been arrested?
That's different.
Right?
Nope.
No.
Ask me.
Ask me the question.
Okay.
So Bobby, looking over this, great, looks good.
Have you ever been arrested?
It's a weird question to ask this interview.
You would not say that.
I'm calling HR.
Oh.
They'd be like, okay.
No, I would go, no.
I have no prior history.
We're getting arrested.
No way.
Oh, man.
But yes, way.
No.
Because you were.
No.
You're just going to continue to say, nope.
Yeah, how are you going to prove that he was?
It's expunged.
Oh.
He's learned his lesson.
So expunged means it's not on your record at all.
It's off.
lunchbox's records exposed he gets charged a terroristic threatening for the time we rob a store on the air yeah
we didn't really rob a store that's what the story turned into but they charged him a terroristic threatening
it has been expunged from his record so i don't know there's you go to his record in his picture of a sponge
i don't know but it's whatever it is it's not him yeah some of my buddies they they had like
higher than that and it's expunged when they do jobs they say no i haven't been arrested
it doesn't show up you had buddies that have been arrested for higher than terroristic threatening
Yes.
Okay.
Actual terrorists.
No, no, no, no.
Not on the same.
No, no, no.
Because that's higher than terrorist threat thing.
You're right.
You're right.
Yeah.
But yeah, yeah, other crimes.
So, yeah.
Here's what I'm going to say, Matt.
It's a misdemeanor.
It was 20 years ago.
You're good.
You've changed your life.
You don't need to have this hold you back anymore.
It's expung.
You're done.
Don't bring it up.
Ask me again if I've been arrested.
Say, Matt, have you been arrested?
Matt, have you been arrested?
Nope.
And nothing sure been expung either.
Oh, you add that?
Yeah, why not?
Why not?
No, don't bring it up. You're good.
Matt, thank you for the email.
You are free.
You have my permission to not talk about being arrested ever again.
All right, there you go.
You're not arresting the eyes of law anymore.
So why be arrested in the eyes of the job?
That's a great line.
Boom.
Take that with you?
Did you just say that?
All right, there you go.
Close it up.
We got your email and we read it on the air.
Now it's about to close.
Bobby's mail back.
Yeah.
All right, here's a voicemail from last night.
Hey, Bobby.
buncha. So I have a quick question. I keep thinking about the segment you guys did on the delivery
drivers was upset with his $5 tip. I want y'all's honest opinion because I am an educator and I feel
bad when I go to coffee drive food and I don't tip. But that's their job. Their job is to make a coffee.
And if we're tipping anybody for just showing up to work, I feel like teachers should be getting
tips. So anyways, I want to hear your guys' opinion. I go sign that. That's my girl.
found a way to tip teachers, that'd be awesome.
Tip jar in the classroom.
Oh, I'm not doing that.
Oh, we were agreeing.
We were like, yeah.
I'm just agreeing with her that it's ridiculous that they want to tip at the coffee shop
because their job is to make you a coffee.
You don't get a tip for that.
Well, it's a waiter's job to bring you food, but you get a tip for that because it's based
on the money they're making, right?
The original, the original tipping that we all were exposed to was someone makes basically
$2 an hour working at a restaurant, and then they also get tips.
You get very little.
When you're a server,
used to be a waiter waitress, a server.
I think we got $2.15 an hour.
But they could do that because you got tips.
Then it just became acceptable to put a tip line on anything and everything.
Now, here's the thing.
They're actually not making you tip.
I do understand where it's annoying sometimes.
And you do feel like, well, if I don't tip,
they're going to look at me in a weird way.
But everything doesn't have to be tipped on.
I'm okay with there being the option because sometimes you may get service.
It is so good that you want to throw them a buck or two.
Yeah.
And I think that's a moment.
amazing. The pressure to tip is one thing. I don't like that, but I think I'm okay with there being
a tip line on everything. And if I want to, great. It's just the pressure I don't like. And this
guy, he goes to a house and he gives pizza and he's upset because he's like, this is a fancy house.
I'm only getting five bucks for a $20 pizza. Well, it was so lame how he did it because it's like,
he gives a pizza and he's walking away. And then he's like, oh, by the way, the house is so big.
There you go. Thank you. Thank you. I just want to say, it's a nice house for a $5 tip.
You're welcome.
Got them.
Got them on the way out.
I'm okay with the tipping opportunities everywhere.
Just the pressure to tip.
No, you don't have to tip everywhere.
It's almost like, though, we should know who's getting a full salary and who's not, so we know when we should tip.
Good point.
There's a restaurant in Denver.
I know it's for sure in Colorado that the guys from South Park have opened up.
It's a Casa Benita there.
They liked it when they were kids, so they reopened it.
And they're paying everybody $30 an hour, the waiters and waitresses.
Wow.
And they're doing no tips.
Boom, I'm going to the restaurant.
That's what other countries have.
Yes, it's an experiment for sure here.
I like that.
That is what we need to do.
Yeah, if you were a really great server, though,
maybe though you make more than that.
I guess it would be my point with that.
But I feel you.
You know, there's another story I wanted to talk about here,
and I know we've talked about this before,
but every time it comes up as a story,
I want to bring it up again.
Can you take a shower?
Should you take a shower when there's lightning outside?
Amy, what is your answer to this?
Well, the crazy part is we have talked about this before,
and you would think I would remember this.
because it's your life on the line,
but I don't remember.
Experts say, no.
You should not shower.
No, okay.
It's extremely dangerous
since lightning can travel
through the plumbing of your home
and very quickly electrocute you.
No way.
Does anybody ever die
because they're in the shower?
I've never heard a new story like that
where they've gotten struck by lightning
in the shower.
Safety officials say not to be outside
during a storm, right?
No, I get that.
And to avoid all water,
if there's thunder lightning in the area,
do not shower, bathe, wash dishes,
or wash your hands for 10 to 15 minutes before and after the storm.
What do I think we're eating before we go swimming or what?
It's kind of feels like that.
Don't swim until you let all your food digest.
We're just a wait.
That's from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
So if it's lightning, you're not supposed to shower.
Okay.
What if it's all like old homes, though?
They're built all of like asbestos and copper.
I don't know.
That's just really scary to think about.
And it makes you want to, I don't know how you always know if it's light.
Like you're inside your house and it's storming.
Do you have to like go and see when the last lightning strike was?
And then...
I guess if there's just a little cloud with rain on it,
don't take a bath.
Yeah, let's like your weather out.
Don't take a bath.
It's time for the good news.
With lunchbox.
Stay at home, it's something good.
Over the 4th of July weekend,
the Rizzo family went boating on Lake Cumberland in Kentucky
when Rocco had his blankie that he's had since he was a baby on the boat.
And all of a sudden, a big gust to win because they're,
you know, cutting it up on the lake.
And whoosh, there goes the Blanky into the water.
Hurry get the ball.
Blanky, and it sinks.
What are they going to do?
They start fishing hooks, throwing it to the bottom of the lake, trying to catch the
blankie.
They can't find it after hours.
Like, the blankie's lost.
They try to catch it for hours.
Yeah, well, I don't know if it says hours.
They said they tried to catch it.
So I'm going to imagine hours.
They were out there under the fireworks still in the dark.
You know, let's make it crazy.
So they went home and Rocco's mom's like, the blankie's gone.
Then she was like, you know what?
I'm going to do something crazy.
I'm going to put it up on social media and say, hey, we lost this blankie.
kind of know where we were and someone
saw it and their husband happens to be a
firefighter and a diver and went out
there and they searched and
32 feet below the water
boom they got the blakey they washed
it and they gave it back to Rocco
I am looking at the guy dive now he's got all his equipment on
it's great it's not about a blankie but it's about
anything that matters yeah yeah and here's the fire department
diver Lyndon talking about he knew he had to go get
that blankie after reading the mother's message I knew that I could feel the
pain in the message, like almost hearing her
talk, I mean, just say it out loud. And I just
know that we need to do something for
her boy. What's her like at the dog
or something? Yeah. But he does come out from underneath the water
with it over his head. Yeah, like, I got it!
Lake A! My son is in a lot of pain right now because his
goggles sank at the lake. Yeah, throw that up on social
media, see if anybody. Oh, no, I mean,
find a hundred pair of those down there. It's an ordeal
at our house. Well, because technically, uh,
his sister threw them in the water, and she thought they would float
and then they sank. The dog was should float. And it's
it's caused an issue.
Like goggles don't float.
But once they get water in them, they're heavy and they're still.
They should float.
I can tell y'all exactly where we were.
Okay, great story.
Shout out to every blankie saver out there.
Yes.
That's what it's all about.
That was Tell Me Something Good.
On the phone is Mary.
Mary's going to play a trivia game with us, sort of.
Mary's in Massachusetts.
Mary, good morning.
Morning.
You're going to pick a member of the show here to try to win you a prize.
And you have three players here.
but I'm actually going to draw from the cup.
What are you drawing?
Well, here's what's going to happen.
In the cup, I have you three's names.
Now, Mary, say stop.
Whenever you say stop, this will be the person playing for you.
Okay, I don't get to know the game.
No, not yet.
Just say stop whenever you're ready.
Stop.
Okay, this one right here.
Oh, come on.
The person playing for Mary will be.
Yeah!
Lunchbox.
You're welcome, Mary, Mary, Mary.
Now, now we have categories here.
One of the categories is reality TV.
Oh, heck yeah.
your specialty. That's right. Wow. Another
category is music. That's Eddie's specialty.
Oh, man. And another one's health and wellness because that's
Amy's. Uh-oh. So you really
want yours. Oh, now you're doing the
category. All right, say stop, Mary,
whenever you want me to stop.
Please. Much box. Your category is. He needs a reality.
Reality TV!
Mary! This is your day, baby!
Let's go! Okay. If he
gets six of seven, correct.
Oh, boy. Mary wins
the prize. You ready, Mary.
I'm ready. And that was pure
random. This is great, Mary. How you feel it?
I feel fabulous.
That's what I'm talking about.
Here we go. Six and seven lunchbox.
Question number one. Who is the host of the reality TV show Survivor?
Jeff Proost. Correct.
What was the name of the show where people bid on abandoned storage units?
Storage Wars. He's good.
Two for two.
I saw them in Vegas. All those guys, they were playing Blackjack at the wind.
I was freaking out. Oh, that was so fun.
Before he was a WWU wrestler, what reality show was Mike the Mism?
is a part of a 2001.
It was the real world back to New York.
Right.
Kevin Dunn, Coral, all them are on a season.
Number four, what's the name of the CBS show that's been on for 24 seasons that features
people living together in a house and competing for a cash prize?
Big Brother.
Correct.
Mary, I mean, are we, I don't even know what we're playing for.
We're on fire.
You better start celebrating, girl.
Come on.
I knew the first two.
Get some clam chattah.
Okay.
Four down.
Don't they eat that in Boston?
Yeah, a lot of the Northeast.
Yeah, Massachusetts. That's what I'm saying.
What's the last name of the family and the reality TV show Duck Dynasty?
Robersons.
That's correct.
What is it?
Robersons.
Yeah.
Say it again.
Robesons.
Mike.
That's how you say.
Is he French?
R-O-B-S-E-R-B-S-E-R-S-O-B-S-O-R-S-O-B-S-R-S-R-S-R-S-R-S-R-S-R-S-R-R-S-R-R-S-R-R-S-R-R-S-N.
Oh, there's a T.
Then there's a tea.
Okay.
So you missed that one.
But raw and ro.
What is Roe?
R-O-B-S-O.
Wait, no.
That's Wobson.
But you didn't miss that one.
I'm sorry.
I tried four times
to let you put you on it.
I didn't watch that crap.
All right.
Are they still famous?
Yeah.
Of course they're famous.
They don't have a show anymore, right?
I don't think so.
I don't know.
I don't know.
I didn't ever watch it.
You have to get two for two.
You have to get two for two.
That's fine.
Let's go.
What's the name of the show
where people try to make the best meal
using limited ingredients.
Oh, no.
There's a lot of those.
I mean, it could be...
What's the name of the show
where people try to make the best meal
using limited ingredients?
I don't know this one.
Top Chef.
We'll go with that.
It sounds right.
I don't know what that is.
Oh, no, he was so confident.
Never heard of that.
I'll give him the last one anyway.
What's the name of the show
that features Gordon Ramsey helping failing restaurants?
Hell's Kitchen.
Kitchen nightmares.
Oh, oh, my goodness.
It was as soon as you told the caller to celebrate.
Yeah.
Well, you guys went to some shows.
You told Mary, let's celebrate.
We won this.
And then he missed three in a row.
Mary.
It's out, lunchbox.
Hey, look, Mary, I don't know.
I don't consider that crap that they gave me at the end.
Like, those three, and no one's ever even heard of those shows.
Wow.
They all knew Robertson.
I knew Chopperston.
What is that even on?
Food Network.
I have no idea.
I don't know what channel.
I don't watch a lot of these shows.
Or whatever.
I don't know.
It doesn't matter. I just know that...
And then the other one? I don't...
I mean, Gordon Ramsey has about 52
reality shows, so there's no way you can know which one's
which. Yeah, Kitchen Nightmares. I don't know.
You didn't win anyway. That one wasn't the one that got
you. No, it was, actually.
No, because you said Roberson eight times, and you spelled
Robesuren. That was weird. He said Roberson.
Whatever it was, yeah.
I never heard that name before. You did not win. Mary,
I'm very sorry.
Sorry, I'm a little more upset. He didn't remember me.
Oh, from?
Oh, okay. Okay.
Oh, okay.
Go ahead, Mary. Go ahead and Mary?
You're not Jamie O'Mary, are you?
What?
No, I'm married from Massachusetts.
I was one of the teachers you guys had it.
Oh, one of the teachers.
Remember?
Yeah, the boss and babes.
Oh, those chicks.
Yeah, hi.
Hey.
Well, what chicks are we having that were from?
Remember the teachers that over here?
Oh, yeah, and they all wanted raises and one of them was getting married or something.
Or no, they were just here for a party.
I don't know.
They just came.
I don't know.
Oh, they came to your opera show.
That's, I know who you're talking about.
Oh, well, how am I supposed to know that?
You didn't say, hey, you know how many Boston or Mary's from Massachusetts listen to this show?
You didn't say, hey, I was one of the teachers that came in.
Was I supposed to recognize your voice?
I was waiting to see it.
Yeah, if you remembered.
That's all right.
But the reason I called was because Bobby said no one would go to a show if he did one up here.
And that's not true.
He has a big following Massachusetts.
Well, I appreciate that.
And I wish I could.
Thank you very much.
Oh, man.
Well.
Lunch.
Sorry, buddy.
Did not win her prize.
That's awkward, man.
That was tough.
Tough day.
A win is a win.
A win is a win.
I don't care what you're saying.
Yep, that's me.

This is kids do the darndest things.
I got an 8-year-old, a 9-year-old, and a 10-year-old,
three different stories.
The 8-year-old.
police arrest an eight-year-old boy for armed robbery.
Whoa.
Because he was armed and drove the getaway vehicle.
Crazy.
That quote, I think parents just really need to know where their kids are, what their kids are doing,
and just talking about these kind of things.
Montgomery Police said there's a young child responsible for a carjacking and a vehicle chase.
Officers responded to a call, 11 a.m.
A child had carjacked someone at gunpoint.
She said officers tried to pull the stolen vehicle over,
but the driver refused to stop.
a tall eight-year-old too, right?
To be able to see?
Yeah.
Coleman said the fleeing vehicle crashed into another vehicle.
The eight-year-old boy was taken into custody and charged with first-degree robbery, attempting
to elude in certain persons forbidden to possess a firearm.
He was taken to the youth detention facility.
The gun was recovered.
No more information.
WSFA News 12.
Two things about this.
One, it's just so sad this kid even knows, has seen, has been exposed to this kind of
crime.
Right.
Situation he's in cannot be possible.
positive for him to even know about it to do it.
Exactly.
Bad influences everywhere or no influences.
Or, yeah, it was his idea because he's seen it somehow or someone had him do it.
Also, then I just think of an eight-year-old kid driving a car and it was like,
that's unbelievable.
You just barely to the top of the head, just coming through that top of the steering wheel?
And then if an eight-year-old carjacks you, are you like, is this a joke?
A second grader's got a gun?
Like, you look around like, all right, who's doing this?
Where's the camera?
Because he's so, because it's eight-year-old.
I mean, how can he reach the pedals?
Like, his legs can't be long enough.
Gotta be tall.
So kids do the darndest things.
Number two, a nine-year-old.
A nine-year-old girl is recovering after her five-year-old brother hit her over the head with his backpack.
And what happened was, in his backpack, there was a pair of scissors.
Oh, no.
And those scissors lodged in her skull and they couldn't get him out for a week.
No.
Kids do the darndest things, huh guys?
That's crazy.
Sharp objects like scissors or knives must be kept away from children.
The girl's father said, yeah.
The victim, nine, had been arguing with her brother who's five.
and so he hit her over the head with the backpack.
They lodged into her skull.
She cried out.
Upon seeing the scissors protruding from her head,
her father rushed her to the hospital.
Unfortunately, the family couldn't pay for all of the medical care they needed right then,
so they were only able to do some stuff at the time.
Oh, my.
The scissors did not cause permanent damage.
Obviously, she's been traumatized, but yeah, I mean,
I'm looking at a picture of her hair.
The scissors are still in her head.
Oh, man.
They've pulled them.
Salvation Army came and helped.
And she's recuperating at the hospital in New York Post.
Wow.
Like backpack.
The kid wasn't doing it on a purpose.
He just stabbed her in the head with some scissors.
He didn't do that.
But I mean, she's laying in the bed with one of those things under her nose and the breathing thing.
And the scissors are still in the head because, again, they won, didn't go.
Like, we don't feel confident right now.
We can even pull it out.
Kids do the darndest things.
Huh.
Here's a 10-year-old.
This one is sad.
A 10-year-old boys hospitalized if drinking too much water.
What do you mean?
A boy in South Carolina was hospitalized after drinking so much water that his kidneys became overwhelmed.
Ray Jordan 10 began acting drunk according to his parents.
He needed eight hours of sodium and potassium replacement at the hospital.
Wow.
He was treated for water intoxication.
Wow.
I wonder was it like, like, hey, let's see how much water you can drink?
Like he was the outside and he was hot and he started drinking water?
You know, he's 10 years old.
He guzzled six bottles of water in an hour.
I still don't feel like that.
That didn't seem like that much.
It's a lot, six and an hour, but it's not like a lot, lot.
Not for us.
Maybe this 10-year-old boy, though, his body reacted.
But yeah, then he got drunk off the water.
His kidney's going crazy.
And then luckily he's okay, but he drank too much water.
Too much anything.
That's too much.
That's right.
Too much of anything, Amy.
You nailed it.
And that's kids do the darndest things.
Don't me feel better about our kids?
Yeah, my kids are angels.
Compared to that.
That eight-year-old car jacket.
I mean, that's like the kid back in the day that he said.
Hood rat things?
Yeah, and you're like, I just feel bad for him.
Yeah, totally.
Oh, hopefully he can get some care.
I mean, because he's arrested, but he's not.
Not how our system works, sadly.
He's going to be in juvenile detention, be exposed to other bad kids,
not really have real shot at life.
Yeah, I know.
I did the tour in my calculus.
Yeah, that's true.
A voicemail from Victoria in Texas,
and she's talking about lunchbox putting the sunscreen on people.
I'm calling because I was just listening to Tuesday show on the podcast.
And I was listening to lunchbox's segment about the sunscreen.
And I realized it's been a year since I started listening because I started listening when he did this bit.
But last year when I listened, I thought it was disgusting and what a freaking creep lunchbox was.
But now I'm like, that's not so lunchbox.
I just love that.
So you just have to know him to love him.
All right.
Thanks, guys.
Love the show.
So she thought you were a creep.
Yeah.
She knows you're a creep so it doesn't creep her out.
Yeah.
She knows I'm a creep, but she's like, oh, that's in the show.
endearing quality is what she felt like creepy, creepy, you're just creepy.
Yeah, I mean, man.
You're cringy, I would say, though.
Creepy is like a whole different level.
You're cringy, not creepy.
Okay, I'll take cringy and not creepy.
Michael Scott was cringy.
Not creepy.
Okay, that's a good way to describe him because my wife, when we watch the office, she's like, oh my gosh, I just can't with him.
It's just so cringy.
And you're Mr.
Cringe.
Dang.
Yeah.
I'm like Michael Scott.
I like Michael Scott.
All right, here is morning corny.
Good morning studio.
I have a back-to-school morning corny for you.
So what do you call a teacher that secretly passes gas in class?
Private tutor.
There you go.
Here's Amy's pile of stories.
Playing monopoly with your kids sometimes might be really frustrating,
but one of the most important things that you can do as a parent,
you've got kids, family game nights.
Because apparently games make, like if there's monopoly,
like the money, the math, it improves their skills, like instantly.
All they have to play is like 20 minutes.
day two times a week.
I bet they're running to the table too.
All right guys, Monopoly.
It's our daily monopoly.
I just think it's a fun way to...
I agree.
Game night's awesome.
But I can't imagine a 14-year-old sprinting to the table
to play Monopoly every day for half an hour.
Oh, I mean, my kids like to sit around...
Hungry, hungry hippos, now we're talking.
Okay.
Or Uno, my kids love Uno.
Card games are good.
Anything with numbers, too, or like
Farkel's a dice game where you have to, like,
add things up and just exercise our brain.
That's why I thought it could be good for you, too,
if you're trying to sharpen your skills.
Yeah, I'm more of a screen guy.
I like the kids
I'm more of a
Put it on a screen for me

Yeah yeah yeah
But we said I still like the screen

Chat GPT

You just say something like
Hey plan me a two day trip

And it provides you a full

things to go do right now.
Plan me a two-day trip to where would I like to go.
Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Yeah, users say it does a pretty good job.
Let's see what happens.
I hit plus it is now going into the figuring it out.
Sure, here's the suggested two-day itinerary for a trip to Fayetteville, Arkansas, day one morning.
Start your day by visiting the botanical garden, botanical garden in the Ozarks, explore the beautiful gardens.
Afternoon, head to Fayetteville Historic Square, where you go.
browse the local shops.
Evening, visit the Walton Arts Center.
We're now performing arts venue to catch it.
Da-da-da-da.
Dinner.
That's all here.
Yeah.
Isn't that crazy?
I'll see you guys in a few days.
Right.
It's a work trip.
I got to go do now because you chat.
GBT.
Is that it?
Well, Dolly Barton shared her favorite country song of all time.
And it's not, you know, Jolene.
It's not, I will always love you.
If she picked one of her own as her favorite of all time, that would be weird, though.
Right.
Yeah.
She picked George Jones.
He stopped loving her today.
He stopped loving her.
Watching him sing this in the Georgia Tammy show.
Did you watch the show?
Oh, I still need to do that.
I got to write that down.
George Jones, a troubled guy.
Very troubled guy.
Like, I don't know much about him, but I'm thinking like drinking.
Really bad.
It's a really good show.
Jessica Chastain can really sing.
Mike, what's the guy's name?
It's really good.
Michael Shannon, awesome actor.
And he can really sing as George Jones.
But it's on Showtime.
And the problem, now, though, if you have Paramount Paws,
I think you get Showtime as well.
They just popped up that they're, it's both of them at the same time.
I can't keep up with what I have a way I don't have.
Yeah, it's really good, though.
It's just called George and Tammy.
Okay.
I'm Amy.
That's my pile.
That was Amy's pile of stories.
You know, one of the things we've been able to do together on this show, and by we, I don't just mean us in the room.
I mean, you listen to the show, all the B team, is over the years, we've been able to build house after house for military veterans who need special houses for their needs, if they've been injured.
So we've been able to do it time and time and time again.
and we're very thankful that that is still something
that you guys will take part in with us.
So when other people do it too, I like to recognize it.
There's a Marine in California who's getting a brand new mortgage-free home.
His name is Jose Armetta.
He was on security patrol while stationed in Afghanistan.
He stepped on an IED.
He lost both legs to right about above the knee.
And the Gary Sinise Foundation,
who does a very similar thing that we do on the show.
They built a house.
That's it.
This past week, the family got a sneak peek of their new 2,900 square foot home.
It's still under construction,
and it is made based on his needs.
So saw it, appreciated what that foundation does.
And Gary Seney's Lieutenant Dan from Forscump.
Oh, what?
Oh, I get it now.
Okay.
He has his own building foundation.
That's cool.
I've watched him in interviews say that that movie,
he was so moved by being that character in that movie.
Yeah.
That's where almost all this, at least the genesis of it.
That's amazing.
Because Lieutenant Dan, for you children out there,
lost both his legs and war.
And was very angry.
and then spoiler alert,
kind of came to terms of God.
Come on, God.
Show me down.
That's a good scene, huh?
Yes, I need to go back and watch Forrest Gump again.
Yeah.
I feel like there's some stuff y'all reference sometimes
where I'm like, yeah, good scene.
But I don't remember.
You remember the gracenies?
Come on, guys on the boat.
Yeah, it's like, yeah, I know his character for sure,
but I mean, it's funny.
I don't know how my wife has seen Forrest Gump.
Ooh.
Wow.
You should do that with her.
I don't think she cares.
Oh, no, you should do a whole thing at home
where you put some movies in a hat.
She told me that.
She goes, how come you'll do bits with the show where you watch movies?
But I'm trying to get you to watch a movie.
And she said, let's do a bit here.
I said, well, can anybody watch it or hear it?
She goes, no.
I said, that's not a bit.
Okay.
It's just us.
So, Gary Sinise Foundation, shout out.
Jose Armenta, shout out to you.
We appreciate everything that you sacrifice for us.
That is what it's all about.
That was tell me something good.
I have the five grossest foods.
This is according to Americans.
Oh, all the way.
California to Maine, all the way across.
Grossest foods go.
Oysters.
Yeah.
You don't like, I love oysters.
Oysters are delicious.
I had the best oysters when I was up in Maine, too.
Oh, I bet you did.
Oh, it was, this is me eating.
This is me eating, watch.
Listen, listen.
Mm.
That was every time.
But what do they taste like?
When I taste an oyster, because you don't chew it, you just swallow it.
So it's really just like a slimy.
You chew it a little bit.
Oh.
I don't just swallow it straight down.
I think that's like something they did in the 80s or something.
It was like the hot.
But I put horse radish on it.
Oh.
I love an oyster.
But lunch, Buck, do you ever eat a hamburger with nothing on it at all?
Yeah.
You do? Okay, I don't. I rarely will just eat a hamburger patty straight with nothing on it.
I would compare an oyster to kind of like that. You got to put stuff on it to really make it good.
Okay. It's more like the texture. I don't like oysters with nothing on it.
Okay. But I love oysters with like a little horseradish, like a little bit of vinegar.
By the way, I didn't make the list. Yeah, I didn't make the list. Anything else. You.
Spam.
Interesting. Spam is good. I don't know that I would say it's good.
It is not good. But we've had a lot of it. We would like go to, we'd go camp or if we went honey for four or five days.
There was just some left in place.
You just eat it.
It's in the truck.
It could be there forever.
You put in the skillet and it's really good.
You can fry spam.
But I think you convince yourself it's good.
It's fine.
Well, it's not the best.
It stays in a can for 20 years.
Thank you.
Didn't make the list.
Eddie.
Olives.
No.
There you go.
I like olives.
Didn't make the list.
And number five, it's fruit cake.
I don't know what that is.
It's not gross.
I don't know that.
Again, if we're doing a cakewalk at church, I don't choose that one.
But not my favorite, but not gross.
Number four, pork rinds.
Oh, they're great.
Pork rinds are like the gas station snack.
I don't eat pork rinds anywhere,
but for some reason,
there are two things I want
when I stop at a gas station on a road trip.
Funions and pork rinds.
The only time I ever want them.
Which they're kind of like...
They're kind of like the same material.
I don't think funnions are pork rinds.
Enchovies, sardines.
Both are disgusting.
Liver and onions tops the list.
There you go.
I don't like liver or onions.
There you go.
We have 90 seconds.
You guys ready for the investigative corny.
Let's go.
Amy, are you ready?
Yes.
Let's go now.
The morning corny.
Why did the airplane get sent to his room?
Go, hangar.
Grounded, grounded.
It was grounded.
No, okay.
I mean that, that's not it.
That's not it.
The flight was grounded?
Bad pilot.
Not a air.
Nottie nurse.
Notty nurse.
What are you talking about?
Like, where did Nottie nurse come from?
I mean Nottie flight.
No, but even that.
Because he was...
Noddy nurse.
What was the question?
Why did the airplane get sent to his room?
He got it.
Why did he get in trouble?
Hangering around?
Hanging?
Uh, he was...
Huh?
Talking back?
I don't know.
What is a pilot?
The plane?
No, the airplane.
It got sent to his room.
The wings.
Because he added.
Eddie, why are your kids getting trouble?
Bad altitude.
Bad altitude.
That's it.
That's it.
Okay.
But grounded works.
Uh, what's the difference between a good pizza joke and a
bad pizza jokes.
Toppings.
Amy tells it.
Oh.
The delivery.
The delivery.
Yay.
Go.
That's box.
Okay.
What do clowns fill their cars with?
Gas.
Eileen.
Jokes.
Gasoline.
Kleenex.
Gas and the...
Fuel.
Petroleum.
What do clowns fill their car with?
Honkers. Honker horns.
Gassan.
Jokes.
I don't know.
I don't understand.
Gasoline.
Fuel.
You fill it up with gas.
Nottie nurses.
We're going Nottie nurses.
Lapping gas.
Lapping gas.
Let's go.
Good job, Eddie.
Okay.
What kind of music should you listen to while fishing?
Nottie nurses.
Yeah, what was that?
I don't know, man.
How many do we get there?
I don't know.
What was on his screen while he was saying Nottie nurses is what I was.
I was just an email.
Even Nottie flight a tone there.
That's good.
All right, edit, you good?
All right, clear eyes, pool hearts.
Can't lose.
Do you want to know the one that I kind of got to but not?
Yeah, fishing songs.
What kind of music should you listen to while fishing?
Hockey.
Something catchy.
That works.
I just need a second to talk to all the idiots out there.
How do they know?
Well, you know if you're an idiot.
You may deny you're an idiot.
You know if you're an idiot.
All you idiots out there, I come to you in peace.
At times I'm an idiot.
But first, I want to talk to idiots who throw stuff at artists when they're on stage, when they're singing, when they're performing.
Stop throwing stuff.
You're going to ruin it for all of us.
There are going to be cages up in front of people.
You can have artists not wanting to do shows.
You're going to have them performing back on the back part of the stage.
Behind a sexy glass.
It doesn't matter who it is.
Even Morgan Wallen got a boot thrown at him.
Now, I think someone wanted them to sign the boot.
But you can't throw stuff of people.
He takes it and chunks it back into the crowd near where it came from.
Hilarious.
Stop throwing stuff.
Because something's going to have to happen if people keep getting nailed with stuff.
That's the first.
First one.
Secondly, all the idiots out there that are getting in trouble on airplanes, you've got to stop.
Eventually, it's going to reflect and ticket prices.
It's going to reflect it.
Oh, maybe there's like an idiot tax.
But you only have to pay it if you're deemed an idiot.
Somebody gets a select who the idiots are.
Okay, here we go.
United Airlines Flight 20 from Houston had to make a fuel dump because they had to divert to Chicago.
They were flying overseas.
They have so much fuel.
But there's a dude on there who was in business class, who is livid.
because his first choice if his meal wasn't available
in first class, he wanted beef or he wanted fish.
So he was so disruptive
they had to dump all the fuel
so they could land the plane to Chicago and put them off
instead of flying to Europe.
Golly. Wow.
We can't they?
Idiot tax.
So he should have to pay for that fuel.
Oh, he'll have to pay for all day.
He'll be fined.
He should go to the idiot room, aka jail,
and then an idiot tax.
Right.
And then don't want to fly for six months
or more.
Put him on a list.
I forget.
What are they allowed to do so maybe they don't have to turn around?
Can they tie him down?
Well, if the flight wasn't so long, maybe.
I mean, that's a long flight to be tied down.
He's drunk, too.
Okay.
Or maybe he's drunk.
I don't know if I need to say that for sure.
I mean, he's drunk.
He got mad about the food.
He was drunk.
He's drunk.
And here we go.
A fight over a window seat causes a two-hour flight delay.
Now...
I'd be so annoyed.
Oh, I would be so annoyed.
I would...
I don't want to punch them if I was wondering.
row back and what happened was
there's a dude in the middle seat. He doesn't want to let the guy go through.
Oh, because he has to go to the bathroom.
And he's like, I ain't letting you. And so they
get into a huge fight.
That just even makes sense. And then it's a standstill
right there. It's like, I ain't going. Well, then they both committed
and dug in and they don't want to look foolish
to all the other people they don't know.
And that's about pride and ego.
That's it. Yeah, but then everybody's mad at you
anyway. A flight
was delayed for two hours because the two passengers
thought everyone's time was better spent watching them
fight. According to a witness, the one
dude wouldn't let the other dude pass through to get to his window seat.
Words were exchanged.
The scuffle broke out.
Crew members were able to separate the two men and control the situation.
They should put them in the room with the Chicago guy, with the food, and only one person
comes out.
Gosh, if I'm a passenger on that plane, you kind of have to use that method of like, just
so you don't get too fresh or annoyed, you have to be like, okay, what is this keeping
from?
Like, maybe because we're grounded for two hours because of these idiots, we missed a
accident in the air.
Yeah, bird flying into the...
Like, how is this going to say?
There's no positive.
There's no positive.
I'm just so annoyed.
You can look for it.
I'm so annoyed.
Okay.
A win is a win.
A win is a win.
I don't care what I'm saying.
Yep, that's me.

If you're watching the latest season
of the Real Housewives of Atlanta,
you already know there's a lot to break down.
Gorsha accusing Kelly of sleeping with a merry man.
They holding Kay Michelle back from fighting Drew.
Pinky has financial issues.
I like the bougie style of Housewives' show.
I think it looks like to be interesting.
On the podcast, Reality with the King, I, Carlos King,

Hi, everyone.
I'm Cheryl Stray, author of Wild and Tiny Beautiful Things.
I'm excited to share that I have a new podcast called Mind Over Mountain.
In each episode, I interview athletes, adventurers, and adrenaline seekers
to discuss the inner landscapes and life experiences
that informed and inspired their extraordinary feats.
I also bring a bit of advice into the mix,
So we too can better understand how to face our own seemingly insurmountable challenges.
Do you know what I'm going to do?
I'm going to pull out what you already have inside.
We're coming into this world, fighting for our lives.
All I'm going to do is pull out what you already got inside.
We're there to support and celebrate each other.
And that's not like your story versus my story.
You're going to walk up and over that dang mountain.
You're not just going to put your mind over it.
Yep, yep, exactly.
And if I can't walk up and over it, I'm going to go through it.
Listen to mind over mountain.

Cheryl is on in Pennsylvania.
Cheryl, where in Pennsylvania do you live?
Washington, Pennsylvania.
Okay, love it.
Used to summer there.
Okay, here's what we're going to do.
You can pick anybody on the show to represent you in this game of famous company sounds.
For example, if you heard this, what would that be?
As a company?
Yeah, it's easy.
Okay.
What would you say to that?
I thought it was like a million, win a million.
dollars. Who wants to be a millionaire?
No, lunchbox says. That's ESPN.
Dada-da-da-da. Okay, well,
a station I do not watch.
Yes, that's probably the only sports one or one.
Okay, so Cheryl, who would you like to represent you?
Um, lunchbox.
Okay, lunchbox. Yeah.
I'm going to give you seven of these. You got to get six of seven.
Oh, no problem. All right, number one, go.
Pizza pizza.
That's that little guy.
Little Caesars.
That is correct. Here it is again.
Pizza, pizza.
Good. All right, here's number two.
If you want to hear it again, let me know.
I need to hear it again.
Does this sound familiar at all?
Yeah.
I think I got it.
Go.
HBO?
Yeah, it's it.
Because when you watch HBO goes,
D-da-da-da-mm.
Different kind of sound, that there is Netflix.
Oh, yeah.
That's the end.
You can't miss anymore.
Man, that sounds like HBO, man.
You should have been like a static on it.
Oh, maybe you're right.
Next up, here we go.
Number three.
Yeah, I go.
got that. Go ahead. That's my boys. State Farm is there. State Farm is correct. Good.
Woo! How's she feeling? She's feeling good. That's not talking about. Well, you have to get one,
two, three. You have four more in a row. That's fine. We got, how many we got so far? Three.
Two or three. Two or three. Here we go. Name that business. Go ahead. We'll skip that one. Come back.
Come back to it. Yeah, come back. We'll come back to that one. We'll come back. No, we'll
skip and we'll come back. Circle back around. We'll circle up. We'll talk about. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Put that on
the books for later on in this segment. All right, next one.
Man, we may need to come back to that one.
You're going to circle back on that one?
Yeah, we'll circle back.
Let's circle back on that one, all right.
All right, let's circle back on that one too.
Oh, boy.
All right, here we go.
Okay.
That's a tough one.
That's tough one.
That's tough one.
I mean, that's one or two.
I got it.
What you think?
Let's go, go on.
That's correct.
Good, good.
All right, we got circle back now.
We got to circle back now.
We're back to the two.
You got to get both of these two.
Oh, boy.
Okay.
That first one again.
Let's circle back to it?
Yeah, I'll circle back to that one.
We'll come back to that one and see that one again.
Where's my girl?
Do you want to go to her?
She can get it.
I know it.
Do you want to go for one?
Yeah, because I got no idea.
Go ahead.
Oh, I can go to her for one of them.
For one of those two, yeah, but you can't do both.
No, no, no, no, no.
It's got to be this one.
You got to tell me what this is.
I don't know, I have any idea what.
No, no, no, no.
Is it AT&T?
Well, that's her answer.
Now you can accept that or you can change.
You know what?
That's her answer.
I'm with her and Lily and AT&T.
You know, Lily's the girl that works at the store.
Amy, would you like to jump in here?
Do you want to tell them that they're right or wrong?
I don't know this one.
You don't know?
Do you do do do-do-do-do-do-do.
So do we need to circle back to this one, Amy?
Let's circle back.
Oh.
Let's circle back.
Let's circle back.
Let's go back to the other one.
Let's go back.
Amy can help you with this one.
I have no idea.
Go ahead.
I mean, is this Netflix again?
No, because the Netflix is the one where you thought it was HBO.
Like I'm so.
This has the that Bobby was talking about, but I don't.
So you think it's HBO?
See, I'm so confused.
Like, they sound the same.
Nope, they're not the same.
Definitely not the same.
And I hear that.
Do you want to hear the difference?
This was Netflix from earlier.
Here is that sound.
And then here is this other sound that we played.
All right, that's got to be HBO then.
Is that your answer?
Because if you miss it, it's over, you don't win.
Yeah, I mean, we can't circle back.
We're going to circle back the other one.
We've been going in circles for a while now.
I know, I know.
And, like, yeah, that's what happens in relationships.
You're going circles.
He says HBO, HBO Max.
Or Max or Home Box Office.
Any of that.
Or H Box Office or HomeB Office.
Yes, let's do it.
Show me that.
Yes!
Look at that girl.
What's her name?
Mary from Massage.
No, what's her name?
Cheryl from Pennsylvania.
She's from Washington, Pennsylvania.
I got the Washington thing.
I was confused.
It's all down to this one.
We play it again, Ray.
We're circling back.
There's nowhere else to go.
There's no more circles.
Oh, my gosh.
Now, she says, Cheryl says AT&T and T.
You know what that could be?
Could be Nokia.
She says AT&2.
You're saying Nokia.
It could be Nokia.
We're looking for the company sound.
Amy,
you think it is?
Is it,
it's a fun thing?
Because I think it's a fun thing at all.
I know.
To them.
Oh.
A computer thing.
Oh, man.
Morgan, do you know?
It's not AOL.
I feel like I might know.
What do you think it is?
Windows.
Okay.
So Morgan goes Windows.
Yeah.
My brain was more computer like that.
Oh, man.
Oh, man.
Oh, man.
Oh.
I have no idea.
I'll give you the category.
Thank you.
Phones.
Oh.
There we go.
You guys were so wrong.
Okay.
So, that's it.
You guys were too steering.
You guys were sandbag.
You guys were trying to get us to lose.
I'm not sandbagging.
I'm not there you.
You were throwing the game.
That's what you were doing.
Okay.
You were throwing us off the scent.
I think it might be.
Lunchbox might be right.
Is it Nokia?
Will you play one more time?
Oh.
Cheryl says that is AT&T.
Cheryl.
Yes, sir
Cheryl
What do you think?
Man, I'm going to tell you what, Cheryl.
I have no idea.
But if you feel AT&T,
I'm going to tell you it's not AT&T.
I told you it wasn't AT&T.
It could have been Nokia.
Not AT&T.
Do it again.
Verizon.
Can you hear me now?
Verizon.
Can you hear me now?
Verizon.
Right.
That could be it.
That's Verizon.
That's Verizon.
Let me call Oscar.
And y'all to pay my phone mill.
Let's go.
Oscar.
We got it. That's Verizon, baby.
Is it Verizon?
Oh, is it Nokia?
T-Mobile.
Oh, T-Mobile.
Sudden death.
One of our shot!
Here we go.
Here we go.
If you get this one, you win.
Cheryl, I'm going to nail this one.
All or nothing.
No circling.
Yeah.
You want to go blind?
Yeah.
Go blind.
Hilarious.
Don't go blind.
What do you mean?
Of all the companies.
I think it would be deaf.
I think it would be deaf.
What companies do you have in your head right now?
I got Apple.
I have...
What's that sound?
I have Google.
I have AOL.
I have McDonald's.
I have
I was about the only companies I know Nike.
That's about the only companies that are out there.
So are you going to go blind?
Yeah.
What would you do if you want blind?
If I was going to go blind, I'd go Apple.
Do you want to go blind?
Do you want to go blind? Yes or no?
Cheryl, you want me to go blind?
or you want me to listen to it?
Of course you want you to listen to it.
No, yeah, please listen to it.
Don't go blind.
All right, I'll listen to it.
Maybe you should go blind.
If you go blind and you hit it,
you'll be known forever around this place.
You'll be a legend.
You're right.
I'm going Apple.
He's going blind.
I'm going Apple.
He's going blind.
This is for the wind.
Let's go, Cheryl.
Okay.
We got it.
He said Apple without even here.
I guess he'd be going deaf.
Are we just playing the noise, the sound?
Yeah, he's already said out.
He's already said Apple.
It is Apple.
It's the only company that is out there.
What other companies are there, Amy?
You just named five.
What other company?
Name another one, Amy.
A million companies.
Okay.
Talk a bell.
Play the sound.
You've already said Apple.
Play the sound.
For the record, that's Apple TV.
I want to see Apple TV.
Oh my gosh.
But we're going to give it to them.
Cheryl, I mean, I told you there was only a few companies in the world and I nailed it.
Yes, it did.
Oh, my.
This is insane.
That is so baller.
Ray put Cheryl on hold.
We'll get her prize.
Cheryl, thank you for listening.
Nice job. He went blind. He did it.
Oh, man. We had to circle a little bit.
But then we went blind. Amy and you said there are a lot of companies out there.
Well, there are.
There are, but I'm happy for you.
Good job.
Here's the voice mail we got from Pat right here.
I was just curious why Eddie or Abby didn't have a GoPro on them or some kind of video to show their jump.
And if they did, maybe I don't know, but it would have been nice.
It's up. It's on our socials.
And it's awesome.
It went up kind of late yesterday because they jumped and then they had to get home and edit the video.
Right.
But they're up.
You can go to the Bobby Bone Show socials too.
Go to Eddie, Abby.
It's all up there.
But they jumped.
And a lot of affiliates had to leave before you guys could jump yesterday.
Yeah.
That timing would kind of messed up a little bit.
Trust me.
I wasn't going to rush the Army.
You can't really rush the Army.
I can't really do the wrap up sign on those guys.
Like, get in a plane.
Let's go.
Yeah.
But it's up on yesterday's podcast.
And the video's up on our Bobby Bone Show social.
So thank you for asking that question.
Reminded me to say it.
Okay, let's go over and do the news.
Bobby's Big.
Stories.
Elizabeth Holmes, the CEO of Theranos, who's in jail.
Elizabeth Holmes.
Elizabeth Holmes.
Had two years taken off her 11-year prison sentence for wire fraud,
and she's now scheduled to be released in 2032.
Holmes, 39, reported in prison in Brian, Texas,
to begin that 11-year three-month sentence,
but the update now says that she's two years minus.
They would not provide further comment,
privacy and security reasons, but every inmate can earn good conduct time.
Well, I'm quick if it was for good conduct.
Some quick conduct, man.
NBC News, I would imagine she doesn't even serve the nine years.
Now, even though it's federal, they're already cutting time off,
she has lots of opportunities to make that, right?
We also were going to send her money into her little account
because I thought it would be hilarious, just to be her friend.
But apparently her husband, they're so rich.
Oh, so she didn't need her money?
Yeah, she probably won't notice it.
So I'm going to send money.
I just wanted to, like, have a pen pal, like, the by-bone show,
Elizabeth Holmes back and forth, you know, sending letters.
Talking about life.
What if we find another inmate there, send them money,
and that way we can get the inside scoop on Elizabeth home?
Oh, wow.
Good thinking.
Yeah, an inmate that may not have the hookup show.
Yeah, feel shady.
I'm in.
Do we know anyone else in Brian?
I mean, all you got just go to the website.
Do you see what they're all in for, though?
Yeah.
It tells you what they did?
Yeah, well, I think we may have to have their prison numbers,
but, yeah, you can look up what they're in for.
Find this one.
We'll adopt an inmate.
That's awesome.
Oh, this is a good program.
It said a Big Brother's Big.
There's big sisters.
It's adopted inmate.
Solar storm.
2025 could cause internet apocalypse.
This is the worst headline I've ever read in my whole life.
That scare you?
Solar storm is predicted to hit Earth in 2025,
and it could cause all the internet to go out.
Authorities fear of the cycle has ramped up much faster than normal,
and it could knock out the entire internet as we know it.
It hasn't occurred since really 1755 at the level they think it's going to occur.
It's ramped up faster than normal.
Like I said, they've seen more sunspots and eruptions in the forecast.
And so if it happens and it has all these electromagnetic pulses,
it could be catastrophic to the way that we have and use and share it to the internet.
Whoa.
So it ruined the internet back then, too?
Yeah, that's why it didn't exist anymore.
Yeah.
I remember George Washington like, eh, give me my quill.
I need to write this note so I can put this on the internet when I'm done.
Wait, what?
What was the social?
Myspace was probably his.
Probably.
Yeah, that was him.
He was in his top eight.
His topic was probably John Adams.
Yeah, Thomas Jefferson.
AMC says 20,000 moviegoers are doing the Barbenheimer double feature,
which is Barbie and Oppenheimer.
Same day, same weekend.
Now they're both coming out.
Hey, Mike D.
Come over to the microphone.
Here he is, Movie Mike from Movie Mike's movie podcast.
Oppenheimer looks good because Matt Damon's in it.
Yeah.
That's all I really need to see.
Yeah, it's about the creation of the Adam bomb.
Right.
And then Barbie looks.
Pink.
Yeah, it looks fun.
A lot of pink.
Yeah, so what's Barbie about, though?
I know it's about Barbie, but is it like a parody?
So she exists in the real world, in the Barbie world,
and then she wants to leave so it comes out into our world.
That's amazing.
Like a comedy that adults would find funny.
Yeah, like a very kind of like just over-the-top comedy.
Got it.
So both are next weekend, not this weekend, next weekend.
Next weekend.
Are you doing both?
I'm doing both.
Oppenheimer's three hours and Barbie is two hours.
So that's five hours.
The movie's two hours?
Yeah.
Off number's three hours?
Yeah.
Dang.
So why Oppenheimer?
Is this supposed to be good?
It's supposed to be really dark.
It's Christopher Nolan who did The Dark Night, Inception, all those movies, so he always
does a really great movie.
Use the Adam bomb on the Joker.
Batman shows up.
And then you're just going to do it because it's like a thing.
Yeah.
It's really care about art.
It's fun.
It's the pop culture moment.
All right.
There he is.
Movie Mike.
That story's from A.V. Club.
One and three Americans choose a sleep divorce to save their marriage.
I did not think it would be that high.
We've talked about sleep divorces, just sleeping into different rooms.
That's crazy.
I didn't think it would be that high.
I totally understand because if someone is snoring or kicks and affects your quality of sleep
and maybe you're not as healthy, you're ill a lot.
There are a lot of things when you don't get good sleep that happen to you.
But a recent survey of more than 2,000 adults in America shows that couples are first using
earplugs, eye masks, silent alarms, and then different beds and then different bedrooms.
But say you have like a special night, right?
one of those special nights that are pretty often.
Right.
And then you're done and you're like, all right, peace.
Like, how weird is that?
But you're married, so I don't feel like the weirdness would even really matter.
It still has to feel like you're being like used.
If you're just dating somebody and you make out and you hook up and you're like, all right, got to go to my room.
That's different.
If you've been married to somebody for a long time because you already understand why it's happening.
Okay.
So poor sleep can worsen the mood and can actually hurt the immune system.
The doctor is like, I think it's a good idea.
If you're not getting a good sleep, do whatever you got to get good sleep.
That is from the New York Post.
A poll of young adults found that almost 3% would rather sacrifice 10 years of their life than give up social media.
What?
That's crazy.
People are stupid.
No way.
Respondents were asked to consider what they would be willing to sacrifice to maintain their social media presence.
Tradeoffs fell into the following categories.
Food, drink, hobbies, possessions, career, appearance, relationships, and health and life.
Approximately 40% of the respondents willing to give up caffeine, alcohol, and video games.
Another 30% were willing to give up playing sports, watching 10% percent.
TV and eating at their favorite restaurant.
What is it wrong with people?
Mm-hmm.
And then, again, it's only 3%.
But it is 3%.
So they would give up 10 years of their life.
Bobby?
No.
Okay.
Nine, yes.
Yeah, it'd be ridiculous.
Frontier Airlines has an unlimited flight pass now for 299.
Passengers can book an unlimited number of flights on Frontier's domestic and
international routes.
Pass holders can confirm bookings the day before domestic flight departures.
The fall and winter pass is currently on sale at 299.
Now it doesn't go forever
This is not a commercial by the way
I don't know that I've ever flown frontier
So I'm saying this not a commercial
I have the cute little animals on the plane
Yeah
Live ones? Not inside the plane but like the art work
They're also shipping animals then that's not
Part of it
You got on a cargo plane Amy
It's artwork
So you can travel from September 2nd
through February 29th 2024
I do see those stories sometimes
About people back in the 80s that bought the unlimited pass
Where you could fly first class forever
It was $250,000.
One guy bought two.
He bought him and a companion pass.
That meant anybody.
He spent half a million dollars.
And he said he was doing pretty good, but it was still a huge expense.
But he's flown millions and millions of miles.
And not only that, when you fly the miles, you also get miles.
Yeah.
That's cool.
So he flies everywhere all the time for free.
He's like, it's the greatest investment I ever made.
Now again, you have to have a million dollars to do it.
But he did it back in the 80s.
And he flies all the time, millions of miles.
He's been, he says sometimes he'll fly a parachute to have dinner.
That's amazing.
That is what I want to do.
That's your goal?
I'm going to buy this pass.
Well, this is not that.
Frontier.
All life.
They don't do lifetime passes anymore.
But this is frontier.
Does Frontier go a lot of places?
Or just at the frontier?
I fly it in Colorado.
They only fly to the frontier?
I don't know, man.
I'm not frontier in Ohio.
Just occasionally sometimes.
A dude sets a record by running 425 miles and four days on purpose.
Mike D?
Couldn't.
That's what we talked about was could Mike do that.
Probably.
This guy, Phil Gore,
he just set a new world record by running 425 and 4 days.
It was all part of an ultra marathon.
He had to run 102 laps around this course.
And again, so if we do four days, it's 100,
and you can't really divide 4 to 25,
but you can't do 4 and 24, which is 6, 106.1 miles.
Wow.
A day.
That's a lot.
That's insane.
Sometimes Mike goes on a jog and he's like,
I ran 17 miles.
Mike, could you run an ultra marathon, 100 mile run?
I don't think so.
I do 40 a week.
That sounds like a lot.
What's the next move for you, though?
Is there some high goal that you have for running, or is it just to keep going?
It was a marathon, and I've done that twice.
I don't want to do it again.
I couldn't do it anymore than 26.2.
That's a lot.
You could.
106.2, 106 and a quarter is what he ran a day.
That's unbelievable.
Officially.
Okay, there you go.
That's the news.
Thank you.
Those were Bobby's big.
Stories.
Big day on the show yesterday is Eddie and Ash.
Abby went skydiving. They had never been. They were super excited. Then they got super nervous.
Then they lived. They're here today. Yeah, we're here. It's a big day. I called Daddy last night at like 9.30. And I was like, how you doing? He goes, I'm exhausted. He's like, it's been a long day.
That adrenaline. Yeah. It's there. You're so tight. It, ah, and then you land and you're just whooped.
It's the highest of high and then you just come down. You're like, well, what do I do now?
How do I go back up? Right. So, Abby, you made a list. I did. Your five thoughts about.
about skydiving yesterday.
Number five.
Okay, that would be, like, I can see why people get addicted.
Because it's, like, the highest of highs.
And I'm thinking about it, and I'm like, what if I go solo?
Like, what if I keep this up?
That's what I'm thinking next.
So you want to go and train and then jump by yourself?
Yeah.
Because my instructor, he said he was going five times that day.
Really?
I was like, I want to go again.
They wouldn't let me go again.
I have no need to do it again.
I did it.
So I think it just depends what kind of person you are.
I am not an adrenaline junkie.
And I've done a lot of stuff.
And I think the reason I've done a lot of stuff is because I'm not.
I hate it.
And so all these TV shows would get made about me doing stuff I don't want to do.
So it's like, watch this guy.
Worst, worst thing ever.
So, but you're someone who likes that, huh?
Yeah.
I might do it.
There's a place like 45 minutes away.
You might do it or you're going to do it.
This is going to be like scuba see brought in a movie.
Exactly.
A TV show.
Well.
Eddie might give a kidney.
Might.
Yeah, there's a lot of might.
That's number five.
Number four.
Okay.
So I heard Eddie said that I was crying because I was so nervous.
I was like, I was not crying at all.
I'm pretty sure he was more nervous than me.
Your eyes were red.
Your eyes were red.
I looked over and I saw red in her eyes and she was breathing heavily.
It looked like crying to me.
I don't know about that.
She was breathing heavily with red eyes.
Maybe she was doing a little something else, Eddie.
He's the one in the bathroom all the time.
Yeah, you go to the bathroom six times in 30 minutes.
It's a thing that I have.
Like when I get nervous, I have to pee even though I don't pee.
I just go to the bathroom and nothing comes out.
And I'm like, well, all right, go back up.
That happens when you get nervous.
You have a bladder infection?
Yeah, I guess I do.
It happens all the time.
Like when there's something big coming up, I feel like I have to go to the bathroom all the time.
Number three.
Okay, so this next one is funny.
Eddie did not do the one thing that they stressed the whole day.
They're like, if you don't remember anything else, do this one thing.
And it is arch back when you jump out.
Like a banana.
Like try to banana your body, yes.
Right.
He jumped out.
It looked like a frog.
Like his legs looked like frog legs because he jumped out right before me.
And I just looked down and I was cracking up.
So you didn't remember that at all.
You're jumping out of a plane.
I wasn't thinking.
The one thing you remember is be a banana.
Yeah.
Dude, I eventually did.
I think about, you know, 15 seconds into my dad.
When you were landing.
Yeah, when they were coming on the ground.
When the parachute was coming out.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
You were wearing yellow.
You were a banana.
That's true.
They did everything possible.
I can't believe they let you pull the cable, the cord for the shoot.
I didn't want to, and he's like, you're going to do it.
You're going to do it.
I would be afraid out and rip it out.
And all of a sudden, I'm holding the cord and you're still falling and no parachute out.
I would.
I would have said no, I'm not doing it.
You do it.
I would have declined.
Or I'd have forgotten.
Well, it is funny because you don't know how hard to pull it.
Like, you've never pulled a parachute before.
Next up, Abby?
So I got to say, these Army guys are total BAs.
Because, like, they are nice.
They're funny.
They're efficient.
Like, they know what they're doing.
They're going to keep you safe.
And they are real men.
Sounds like Abby's in love.
Yesterday, Abby, you said you didn't fall in love with any of them.
I feel like you had a night to think about it.
and maybe you've changed?
I was looking
no, I was just looking back and I was like,
dang, those were real men.
She keeps saying it.
Well, they need to be like highlighted
because that's what they need to be?
What are they?
Abby, what are they?
Real men.
What's the example of not a real man?
Us? Obviously.
Well, I didn't want to know.
I feel like that's why she was saying that to us.
Like, they're an example of real men.
I was like, it's nice to be around real men for once.
I'm just kidding, guys.
I'm kidding.
That was a joke.
Abby, did you have the,
You know, a little giggly for one of them or no?
No.
No or no yes?
No, but they're...
Okay, no yes.
So no yes.
Nothing.
Are they all married?
We didn't talk about any of that.
You don't have to talk about it.
You can look on their hands.
No, they don't, a lot of times they don't wear the ring when they're working.
Yeah, I don't think any of them were.
There's one that was wearing a ring.
It can get caught on things and it's a hazard.
Okay.
Are you an expert in parachute hazard?
No, but I was married to someone that was.
in the airport. A pilot, though. A pilot, and he would
often not have his ring on
and that's because it could get
caught on something. He wouldn't wear it when he would fly.
Me too. I don't wear my work. But like a jump. You're probably right.
And you don't wear yours because why?
Hazards it. It works. It caught us.
Abby, are we in number one? Yeah, final one.
Go ahead. So. If it's about real men again, I'm not.
I was out there's them. It is.
No. So I feel like I had
like a spiritual awakening during
this. I've never had this.
But once the parachute is pulled and
you're up there, you're just floating and it is so peaceful and quiet. And you just realize your
purpose in life. So I and I completely understand it because it's something you've never experienced.
I've had it happen to me a couple times. I was on laughing gas yesterday. I had to get my tooth.
I have that every time I'm on laughing gas where I go, let me prioritize life. I have these,
I've never been high. And I wonder if that's what being high feels like because everybody's like,
you get high and you dream up all the stuff where you create. But I do laughing gas,
have some sort of weird nerve thing in my mouth where even if they numb me, I still feel it a lot of times.
And so I go hit the gas hard.
It's a note and that they hit the gas hard.
But I start to go like black in my eyes.
And then it's like I'm floating in space and I'm like, man, this is about love.
Relationships and love, that's the only really thing that matters and lasts.
And I start having these.
And then I come out of it.
And I tell myself and I know what's happening.
And I'm like, you have to tell yourself this when you're out of this.
Like whenever all, every other stimulus is making you think and reacting.
You have to remind yourself, it almost feels like when I'm in the shower and can think clearly because I'm in the shower and there's nothing else.
And I really can be super creative in the shower.
But it's that times 100 when I'm on laughing gas because there's nothing to distract me.
Wow.
And I'm just floating in space.
And I think I have those moments.
And one, how do I get laughing gas at home?
I'm sure there's a way.
And then two is that.
Let me, let me ask Scoobo Steve.
Hey, Scoo Steve.
I'm just going to call to you generic randomly.
You know, who knows?
You just drew your name.
Yeah, is that like being high?
I was going to say that there may have been a time in my life when I'd be around the right people.
You get really creative.
You start thinking about life.
You start reflecting on things.
And then you come out of it and you're like, what happened?
You don't remember a lot of it.
Oh, you don't remember?
No, the other things that I remember, I try to take some notes and I'll look back on my phone.
And those notes don't make sense in my head from when I wrote them down.
Does it feel like what I explained about being on laughing guess?
Or you're just at peace and you're like, oh, now,
life makes sense.
Again, it's all about your surroundings and your settings
and the people you're with. There's different feelings you have
around different people. Why, Dr. Trimbley, a dentist?
I would be very relaxed.
Very relaxed at peace, yeah. I think it's because you're
in the now. Like, you're not in
the past or the future. What about being drunk?
In the present. I never been drunk either
and I always think that looks fun.
You're sick. You do stupid stuff when you're drunk. It's awesome.
I just got too different.
Yeah, no, but it is awesome.
Yeah, tell me it's not awesome doing that stupid stuff.
It's awesome, but you
don't get creative. You get actually get lazy.
I don't know. You get creative. Eddie and I were to club in Vegas
one time. We danced. We danced.
We danced for three hours on
like beating that beat like Jersey Shore.
See, that's fun. I've never
just been able to relax like that. Yeah, but we weren't
contemplating our life. Like, we weren't
thinking like, all you need is love, man. We were just
happening on one leg for three hours.
We were jamming to the music. And I mean,
we were lost in the music and the
atmosphere. That was crazy. And didn't realize
it had been three hours or whatever. How long?
I mean, we were dripping sweat and we're done.
That sounds fun.
And then I woke up the next morning and I couldn't walk because I'd been hopping on that one foot.
Yeah, my right leg was hurt.
I was in so much pain.
What kind of dance was that?
It was just a hot dance.
Jersey Shore, beat that beat that beat.
And then we would high five everyone that was coming in the bar.
Like, high five.
And you guys only drank alcohol.
That's it.
That's it, man.
I don't know.
And do you know, was there anything put in your alcohol?
Maybe.
I don't know, but did you see that one guy in Vegas?
What happened?
Oh, the guy who got naked and jumped up on a poker table.
Oh, okay.
two different stories here. So tell me the naked one.
The guy was at a bachelor party and I guess
now he's saying he was drugged.
But he took off all his clothes,
jumped up on one of those like three card pokers,
like in the middle of the floor, got naked
and was throwing his junk
at everybody. Fully naked.
I'm surprised somebody didn't tackle him before he got up and did
like more than one beat that beat, like you guys.
And he was doing his
genital stores and then he was
opening his button showing it to everybody.
And then security had to tackle him.
That's like Jim Carrey.
Dude, the video is incredible.
You mean like, do you have a mint?
Like, it is.
You see in the video all the things or do they blur it out?
Oh, they blurt it.
But, I mean, he is in a middle of a pack casino.
Like, it is just like, wow.
That would be so wild that I don't think I would run from it.
I would just pull my phone up and record it.
Yeah.
There's a naked guy in a table.
And then Eddie, yours was a hostage.
Yeah, I just saw the headline.
What happened?
So the guy held somebody hostage and started throwing furniture out the window.
Yeah.
So they were getting complaints about domestic.
situation in the room and the guy
barricaded himself in the room
and he was like, I got a gun and I'll shoot her
and then he broke out the window
and they were on the like the 21st floor and he started throwing
the furniture from the 21st floor
Was it Virgin Hotel? No, I was at
Caesars. Was it Cesar's Hotel? Yeah, and he
started throwing the furniture
out the window 21 stories down to the pool.
So they had to evacuate the pool because there is
furniture flying out the window.
That's why they were evacuated in the pool. I saw people
were like, there's stuff landing in the pool.
The Caesar's pool.
Yeah, like couches and like chairs and whatever's in the whole room.
He's just throwing it out the window.
Was he drinking?
No, dude, he stole this.
Turns out they were living that transient life and they had been on a drug binge.
Transient, like they were homeless?
Supposedly.
How they get up in the room?
Don't ask me.
I guess they bought a room for the night.
Like, they'd been on the-
Don't ask you.
No, I just did.
From what I read the story is they'd been on the strip for a couple weeks or a week.
whatever, just on a drug binge, and then I guess they got a room for a day,
and he could be seen in the videos.
It says extremely high.
Yeah.
He doesn't, it looks normal.
I would just think that was a normal dude, though.
Yeah, he's like 32.
The other guy looks normal, too, as in you don't expect him to be butt-necked on a table.
I see him butt-necked on the table.
It's like, Amy, if you're doing the thing where you go and you put your feet in stir-ups to get the doctor to check you out.
He's like doing a dance too on his butt like that, kicking his legs out.
Well, thank you.
I mean, that helps me understand.
That's a good.
I definitely would run.
I'd get my phone out and I'll be like
they're not gonna lunchbox is not gonna believe this
and I would record it.
It was so funny is the dealer just kind of backs up
and just stands there like I mean like
yeah he doesn't have any weapon
his only weapon's the one you mentioned
seven times and eight seconds.
Oh yeah his.
Yeah yeah yeah yeah.
Okay, Abby thank you for sharing that with us.
Everybody I'm proud of you guys. You jumped.
Thank you man.
Were they real men?
I mean they were yeah they were dudes like
Well lunchbox called one of them a woman on the air
and it was so awkward.
I don't understand what.
So awkward.
We're on the air and Dusty.
Yeah, my guy.
My tandem instructor.
And he goes, hey, how's it going?
And lunchbox goes, I think Dusty's a chick or something like that immediately.
You go, you said something about me being.
I said, dude, it's a girl.
And then Bobby goes, hey, are you a guy or a girl?
Bobby said, I had to address it.
Bobby called her and she goes, uh, or he said, oh, I'm a dude.
It happens all the time.
I heard him just say on the phone like, oh, and I'm a guy.
My voice just sounds like that.
I'm like, oh, my God.
What are these guys asking?
Exactly.
Hold on. We'll be back.
A win is a win.
A win is a win. I don't care which I'm saying.

Lisa is on the phone in Washington, D.C.
Lisa, what's going on?
Hi, how are you? Morning studio?
Morning!
I love that. That's so fun.
I was calling because I was listening, listening to all of your at-piece moments of being on laughing gas or with the skydiving.
And I was wondering if any of you had ever fainted before and had the same feelings because that has happened to me.
Fainted, though, feels to me like physically something went wrong.
So I guess I'd want to know what happened to you.
The only time I've ever almost passed out was when I was in that Blue Angel.
And we hit like six and a half.
What's the word?
Mock.
No, no, no, no, G's.
Oh, G's.
Six and a half Gs without a G suit on, which I learned with it.
Only had a G string on, but not a G suit.
Oh, boy.
And my eyes went black and you see me in that video just go down because I can't see.
And I kind of pass out, but then the plane flips over and I come awake again.
But eyes open.
Oh, eyes open.
It goes black.
Yeah, you can't see.
And it's like, oh, my God.
because your blood's leaving your head.
Wow.
But so my feigning experience was not like I'm having a meeting with God
or like a feeling like I'm in a higher place or security.
It was like, I might die.
So what is your pass out?
You're fainted moment.
Lisa, why did you get to have that when you fainted?
Well, my husband had a traumatic accident.
So he was taking into the hospital
and they let me go into the room and see him,
which was a big mistake.
And he was all pale and propped up with all things
and because he had dislocated his hip
and things were not where they should be
and just beside him, I hit the floor.
And so all I remember is him saying,
somebody catcher.
And then I remember kind of just being,
I don't know, just really relaxed
and just a complete peace.
And then the next thing I know is my eyes are sort of opening
and I see this circle of head just looking over at me.
And I was like, oh my God,
what just happened, but it was the most relaxed and the most at peace I'd ever had.
So, and it happened again when he finished his surgery and they let me go in and see him again.
I passed out again, and that time I was not quite, I hit the bed on the way down, so it wasn't as easy that time.
And so I was people like, I felt concussiony.
Yeah, that wasn't as good.
But the first time, it was the most relaxed.
So I was just wondering if anyone had ever experienced that.
So yours didn't just sounded more traumatic as well, which.
It's not good.
I passed out once.
I remember.
I was young.
A teenager.
A friend was in a car wreck.
Maybe it was 20.
And they were like,
hey, if anybody knows
what kind of blood they are
and you can give blood,
he needs some blood.
So I went up to the mall
to give blood.
And I didn't know what kind of,
I still know what kind of blood I am,
like idiot.
And I remember walking to Chick-fil-A
and I passed down Chick-fil-A
because I gave too much blood
and walked out immediately
in the same circle of heads
over the top like a TV show.
And all I remember thinking was,
what's crap just happened?
Can I have a chicken sandwich?
That was it.
There was no piece there.
Anybody ever passed out though, aside from the peace part?
No.
I pass out every time I throw up.
Oh, yeah.
That's true.
Like whenever I throw up, I pass out.
I wake up on the bathroom floor.
Do you throw up a lot?
Just, I mean, not a lot.
But recently, whenever I've gotten sick, if I throw up, I pass out.
And so luckily, when I would drink, I never threw, I wasn't a throw her.
Thank goodness, because I don't know what.
But when I am sick and I throw up, pass out.
So then do you, when you're throwing up, do you put yourself,
in a place because you know you're going to
do this. It comes out
and then on that
release, you're
or do, does it happen and then you're just sitting there?
But when does it happen?
I can feel that I'm going to throw up
so I'll go get by the toilet or the bathtub
and...
The fact that you throw up in a bathtub is wild, but if it's
because you pass out, that's a different story.
No, no, because I think it's gross to puke into
the toilet because you poop in there.
And so I don't want to sit.
But I don't want to stick my face.
but I don't want to stick my face in there.
Like you can clean.
Got it.
Okay.
That is fair.
But you're also somebody who doesn't care about gross.
Yeah.
Exactly.
But there's poop on this.
I mean, you can.
That's next level gross.
Does nobody clean your toilet?
Yeah.
No.
Oh, God.
I mean, the water does when you flush.
That's not cleaning.
Nope.
So sometimes it's when I'm puking.
Sometimes it's before I even puke, I pass out.
Like there was one time I was sitting on the couch and I'd been throwing up all day.
And I was like, oh my gosh, I'm going to puke.
And I'd been passing out all day too.
And I was like, and I was,
I got up and I started walking to the bathroom.
And when I feel the sweat on the back of my neck,
that's when I know I'm about to pass out.
And I was halfway to the bathroom.
And I was like,
I'm not going to make it because I felt the sweat on the back of my neck.
And I tried to grab on the molding of the wall.
Like I just tried to grab on the frame.
And I guess I went down because I woke up to my wife running down the stairs and going,
that's not funny because I guess I was passed out like my head.
You know what?
Because you play too much.
And when you don't play, she thinks you're playing.
Exactly.
She said it looked like a dead body like on CSI.
Like my head was against the wall.
My leg was bent backwards.
And she goes, that's not funny.
So you went,
you fell all the way because you were still walking.
Yeah,
I was still walking.
I wonder what in your body,
what's triggering that?
And then you talk to a doctor because I'm worried about you passing out on your back
and then you throw up and you die.
I have woken up where I have,
uh,
I guess I was going to throw up in the toilet and I didn't make it.
And then I'm laying there and I'm laying in my vomit,
my face.
That's so.
sad.
But when my wife found me, I...
People have died. People die for like John Bonham, the drummer for
Led Zeppelin died. Like Knight.
Like Knight. Like Knight from Real World, New Orleans.
His name is Knight from... Yeah. The guitarist for
Deaf Leopard. Same thing.
But yes, I... But luckily, my wife woke me up and I
Army crawled to the bathroom and made it to the toilet.
Then puke on the ground. You went to Army crawl because we talked about the Army
earlier and... No, no, I literally Army crawled.
Manly. I was like, I can't get up.
U.S. Army.
And that's the scary part is when I pass out.
When you come to, it's like, it takes you a few seconds, like, where am I?
And the ground, you're really heavy?
Like, oh, man, it's like dead weight heavy.
Yes, so strange.
There are many doctors out there that can tell us what's going on lunchbox.
Oh, the last, when I went to the, like that one time my wife found me and she thought
was a dead body, she took me to the ER and they did a, what is it, where they checked my heart,
a cardiologist test, a cardiogram.
Yeah.
Like an electrocardiogram.
Yeah, they like the terms.
Echo.
I'm not a heart doctor.
I'm a doctor or letters.
Yeah, but they started hooking me up
to all sorts of machines.
They were like, that is not normal.
I didn't find nothing.
Wow, you should submit yourself to.
I mean, who else am I going to talk to?
If the doctor doesn't know, who do I go to?
There's more doctors.
Yeah, you didn't go to the only one.
True.
I don't know what kind of doctor you would go to for that.
There's lots of doctors.
There's more than even that kind of doctors.
A lot of them.
And they're all in different levels.
That's true.
Yeah.
But yeah, if any doctors are out there could tell me why I pass out
want to throw up, it would be awesome because
now I build a fortress around the, like
wherever I'm going to throw up, I put pillows or clothes.
Are you a violent
thrower up? Yes. That's probably part of it.
No, no, but I, but it's not even throwing up yet. I'm not even
throwing up yet and I pass out. But you're probably already
thinking. Are you so freaked out about it? Do you think it's psychological?
No. No. When did the passing
out start in your life? It started
when I was, I was living with my parents
and I got sick
one day and I told my mom, I was like, mom,
I think I was, I almost passed out. She was, yeah, right, yeah, right.
And then I threw up. I was, I threw up.
up later and she heard a boom and I was on the bathroom floor.
So you were 20 something? Yeah. Okay.
That's scary. He's not doing it to get attention like go viral.
Not convinced. Hey Eddie. Not convinced. Right what I'm saying.
No, I'm going to be. Not convinced. That's all I'm saying. I'm concerned.
Yeah, me too. More so than I have been because I know he's told us this before but now I'm like
really worried and thinking he needs to submit himself to a study. Yeah.
Where they make you throw up?
Yes.
Let's put you in a study.
Yes, you can induce the...
A whole year, like they do in space.
I'm just gone for a year.
Yeah, yeah.
We can make them throw up right now.
Yeah.
Lobby Bone Show.
Bonehead.
Story of the day.
This story comes us from Atlanta, Georgia.
A man walked into a nail salon and said,
Hey, where's the money?
Who's got the money?
And the owner goes, I don't have any money.
He goes, give me the money.
She says,
we don't have any money
and he's like oh
okay
oh they ignored him
yeah
and they just kept doing nails
the video's hilarious
I saw this
does he
can you see the gun
no he has it like
covered with a bag
so that means he has no gun
yeah
yeah
and he's like
get on the floor
and everyone's like
we're not getting on the floor
exactly
prove you have a gun there buddy
yeah anybody
that has like their hand
in their pocket
on TV shows
robin a place
they never really had a gun
So they ignored him and he went away
He'd turn around and left and then
His face is right there on the cameras
All the people in there I'm watching them
They're just chilling
How they can all not react
It's almost like a prank show
What Chuck doesn't know he's about to rob the place
But they already know he's gonna rob it
And they're not gonna react
That's what it feels like
Okay
I'm Lunchbox, that's your Bonehead Story of the Day
This is one of those things
That many of us were thinking it
We just started talking
And Amy Lunchbox and myself
All had the same thought
Like how bad does scuba Steve really want to do
his movie or TV show that he has come up with?
No, really bad.
He says, he says it's the best TV show.
It is unbelievable.
He's wanted to do it for 10 years.
That's all he thinks about.
Yeah.
And then he comes in and is like,
I'm bored and I'm lonely.
My family's gone for a little bit.
Who wants to hang out?
Well, Anne, it's important to say that weeks leading up to this free time that he has.
You have been challenging him to take 15 minutes a day.
During the show.
During the show to go right and he doesn't have time.
And then, yeah, now here he is.
Then he comes down. I have nothing to do.
I don't have time at home because family life is so busy.
Then the family's gone.
I'm lonely.
I'm bored.
I knew this was coming.
Oh, you did?
I knew. Oh, I felt they're coming.
We didn't even have a meeting about it.
We just all sent messages going.
I know.
I know.
I heard the voicemail line was littered with them.
Oh, was it really?
Yeah.
I was like, oh, my God.
I regret telling you guys, but a little bit I don't, but I do.
I have been doing other things, though.
I've been like mowing the lawn.
I had chopped down a tree.
I had a hole in the ceiling.
Okay, Paul Bunyan.
Hold on.
That's not going to be an excuse because you got to mow the yard anyway.
Yes, I have to mode anyways because we're here in Nashville and the grass rose fast.
The tree fell down while I was gone in San Francisco because that storm,
so I've been having to chop that down and get it going.
I had a hole in my ceiling in the kitchen because I had a leak up with.
There's always excuses.
But these are excuses.
These are like factual things that have happened.
But they're also excuses because you came in here and said, I have nothing to do.
I'm lonely.
Let's hang out.
Yes, but I do have a slight update.
So a week of July 24th, my friend that I write with and work with is flying in from Chicago.
And we are working on the script.
Oh.
And I pay for his fight to come in.
Like, he's coming into work.
For how long?
For a whole week.
Wow.
So you're not leaving your house for a week.
We'll have another project we're working on with him.
Yeah, called the Bobby Bono.
Oh, oh.
Another side project.
But we're also going to focus on that as well.
So you're starting another side project without finishing your first side project.
Yeah, why not, though?
Why not have multiple projects going?
Oh, boy.
Yeah.
I'm talking to you, Bobby.
I don't want to talk to lunchbox about multiple projects.
I mean, I get it.
I hear you.
Yeah.
What are you going to do when he comes to town?
You have to do this job, though, all day.
I have to do this job, but I'm working next week even harder to make that week a little bit easier so I can spend time with him and do stuff.
So you haven't finished the first side project, so you're going to do two side projects now.
Yes, yeah.
I think that was his point.
You haven't started the first side project?
Yes, correct.
Well, I have the concept and idea and everything and have characters in place and what their roles are.
In place. What's that mean in your head?
In my head, yeah.
Oh, no.
Well, I have some stuff in my notes on my phone as well.
I just wanted to address the fact that all of us thought the same thing.
My family's gone.
I don't have anything to do.
Yet, you're like, I don't have time.
Yet, you're like, I really want to do it.
Yet, you're like, all these excuses.
These are valid points.
You don't really want to do it.
No, no, you don't.
Yes, I do.
You don't know what you would do it.
Okay.
Well, I am going to do it in two weeks from now.
Okay.
And I hope so.
We will so.
I got a feeling they're just going to have drinks at the house.
I don't really drink, so.
Really drink, though.
You don't really drink, but you got a good friend coming in.
Okay, we're done.
We're out. Thank you guys. Hope you have a great day. We're here tomorrow.
Lucas Nelson's coming in tomorrow, which I'm very excited about because I'd never seen Lucas play live.
And we were together in an event in California. And I had kind of become friendly with Lucas.
And then they're like, Lucas Nelson can play in the place. And I'm like, oh, that's like a religious experience. Eddie, you were there.
It's unbelievable. It's like a religious experience. He's so good. He's so good. And so Lucas Nelson will come into play.
He's also Willie Nelson's son, but he played in the family band forever.
Still does some. But he's so good. So that's so good.
That'll be tomorrow.
Riley Green will be Monday.
Thank you guys.
We'll see you tomorrow.
Goodbye, everybody.
Lobby bones.
A win is a win.
A win is a win.
I don't care what I'm saying.
Yep, that's me.
