Welcome to Thursday show. Morning studio. Scoop. Scoop, Steve's running what Ray normally does for the next half hour. So, hey, scuba, do you have an intro for?
Starting point is 00:02:08 me. Oh, I didn't even think about that. Okay, so, no, okay. So you have a few minutes, because we're going to go around when it comes to me, though, you have to make a rhyming intro for me. Okay, yeah, I think I remember how this goes. Oh, I have a good one? No, no, no, no, tell them. Oh. Let's put him on the spot. No, no. Thank you, Scoop's Steve. We'll come back to you in just a second.
Starting point is 00:02:25 All right. If you have a few, let us know, too. We can work through them. Okay, cool. Yeah, let's go over to Eddie first. His son asks his bus driver to turn on the Bobby Bone Show on the bus, and Eddie was really excited that he wanted to listen to us. Here he is, Eddie. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay, guys, so when I was younger, it was really cool when we'd go to, like, a town.
Starting point is 00:02:44 We would drive, like, four hours to San Antonio or whatever, and my dad knew all the hole in the walls. It was just weird. Like, we would be like, oh, that looks good. Like restaurants? Yeah, a little restaurant. We'd stop there, and they had the best tacos in San Antonio. We're like, wow, dad, how did you find that? He'd be like, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:02:57 I just kind of, like, looked at it. It looked like a cool place. Ended up being awesome. So when we were in Memphis, I tried to do the same thing. Oh, you spotted one. I spotted a deli. It was like underneath, like, a building. like maybe a 10-story building.
Starting point is 00:03:10 The very bottom, it's a deli and a little neon lights. I'm like, boys, let's do it. Let's try it out. This could be the best meal of our lives. We go, there's no one in there. Kind of looks like a money laundering place. Oh, you know where like no one's in there. There's one dude working the back.
Starting point is 00:03:25 And we order, we get the food, and we're like, back really not that good. So we go. We go to sleep. The next day, all of us either had diarrhea or we threw up. Oh, you just say food poisoning. Wow. All of us.
Starting point is 00:03:38 Every single one of us. So there's a reason everybody wasn't anybody in there. Correct. You don't have the gift, though, that your dad had either. No. But I was going to ask you guys, do you ever do that when you travel? No. Yeah, I like to go to places that aren't, like, if you can go to a city and it's the same
Starting point is 00:03:52 restaurant as your other city, it's like, I don't want to go there. You can try something new. Or I go, it's just as good as the one at home. Right. The franchise. Yeah, like, how does this rate against the one at home? But yeah, that's stuff. That is terrible.
Starting point is 00:04:03 It was not a good call. What did you order? I had a sub, a meatball sub. How does that? I don't understand. I mean, the meat did look kind of off color. Oh, the meat. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:12 It looked a little weird. Dude, that's rough. My wife had a chicken salad sandwich. Oh, no. Chicken salad sandwich. Hey, that's Memphis, man. Bro. Yeah, not good.
Starting point is 00:04:21 All right, moving on. Jason Gibble is his alter ego, and it's been a minute since Jason's been on the show. Lunchbox. Guys, you guys talk about I'm not a music guy. You don't care about music, but I am changed. I've turned over a new leaf. I'm excited about music. I was doing some slewere.
Starting point is 00:04:38 on the internet, and I found that there are rumors that my boy, M&M, is dropping an album with 50 cents. Woo! That they're doing an album together. Hey, middle-aged men rapper coming together. That is going to be straight. That's hot-ac-eye rap. Stop. If you don't think Eminem still has it, he is going to bring it.
Starting point is 00:05:01 You're just saying cliche things. You got drop. Hey, if you don't think he has it, he's going to bring it. I'm sure to be fine. I know you love them. I was like, wow. But are you sleuthing or was that just a headline that you saw? This is a headline on Twitter, but I was scrolling.
Starting point is 00:05:15 Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. It's funny, we still call it Twitter, too, even though it's not officially. But how do you, if you say you tweet, what do you do, do you X? No, you can't say I was, I was scrolling on X. That's what I'm saying that part's weird too. I still call it Twitter. The drug. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:29 All right, well, I hope they do a tour and you can go. Oh, my God. What if we can get them on the show, talk about the album. That'd be cool, man. I would do that. Yeah, that'd be cool. She posts videos of Cardinals on her Instagram and you never know when she'll fall for another scam. It's Amy!
Starting point is 00:05:42 So my friend was telling me about this website. It's called Facecheck.id. And you can drag a screenshot or an image from the internet of someone, like if you want to know more about them and drag their picture into the little slot on the website and it'll pull up all different kinds of things about them. This could come in handy. For instance, if you're on a dating app, which is what she uses it for. and she said a lot of times you only know. Their first name and you see a little bit about them and what they look like, so it's hard to find out details.
Starting point is 00:06:13 And if you drop it in there, you can find out their last name. And then you learn way more about them. Then you back and go check them. Then you go to the house. Then you watch them to the window. Yeah. I mean, regardless of what you want to use this for, it's so cool that it exists and I had no idea.
Starting point is 00:06:25 Yeah, technology is wild in that I was watching a commercial. And I know Mike D does it sometimes too, but you can take a picture of something and put it on the internet. They'll show you exactly what it is where you can buy it immediately. Yeah. I saw the Android do that where they're watching like a show and he wants like that red cat or something. And so he takes a picture of it, puts in his phone and it pulls up all the places you can buy that exact thing. Wow.
Starting point is 00:06:46 It's crazy. Amy, this website will help you out because it says it'll check for scammers. So anybody that comes to your door or anything, take a picture, put it on here. Or if the person that you'll date, if they're also a scammer, you're not going both out the same time. Yeah, you find out lots. It'll show you their social media. I did put in this one guy because I've been trying to figure out. his last name and then, I don't know,
Starting point is 00:07:07 I didn't recognize him. All these famous, well-known people came up. I'm like, that's not, I don't know. It was weird. They all did look like him, sort of, but they were not him. No. That'd been cool, huh? Yeah, and there's 646,000-259,000 955 faces online. Yeah. On there. Will you make sure that's accurate and start counting? We'll check
Starting point is 00:07:26 with you later. All right. All right. Scooestee, let me hear what you got for me. I got a couple here for you. Here's the first one. Bobby Bones, in his zone, chasing sign jerseys alone. In his quest, he's quite a obsess each autograph is a precious stone here's Bobby Bones Wow, that's a lot. That's a lot of rhymes.
Starting point is 00:07:41 I hear you, I wasn't expecting it to be that intense. That was a rap. No, I liked it. Usually Ray goes from Mountain Pine, Arkansas, and then he makes a rhyme, but it's not Ray doing it. I'm not Ray, though, yeah. Exactly. I was just... It's different style. Yes, I was just surprised at the technique. Okay, what's the other one? Okay, other one. Bobby Bones, tunes and tones, radio king
Starting point is 00:07:57 in the microphone, with wit that hones, his style groans, and laughter's thrown. He's widely known, Bobby Bones! Maybe he was inspired by Eminem. Yeah, I know. Wow, that was really good. Stones and bones.
Starting point is 00:08:10 You wanted something for me. That's what you get. Whoa, easy. We liked it. That was good, dude. That was actually pretty solid. It was good. We liked it.
Starting point is 00:08:19 Okay. I have two things here that I was going to get to yesterday. I'll do both of them. Number one is I accidentally made a 30-minute video on my phone recording my screen. So I'd hit record, screen record. You know how you pull the thing down and hit that button. And I didn't. no, I recorded 30 minutes before I was like, oh, crap.
Starting point is 00:08:37 So I have it saved in my phone. I think that's so interesting to watch somebody else if they don't know their screens being recorded and see what they look at for 30 minutes. That's funny. Like if I were to load the whole 30 minute video on YouTube, I haven't even looked at. I don't know what I looked at. And I know I don't look at anything bad. I don't think.
Starting point is 00:08:52 But how about, how fun would that be to go watch what somebody else is looking at on their phone for half an hour? Like that would be a new odd social media thing. You don't ever do that? Like when people are like sitting in a, you're sitting in a, a doctor's office or whatever and you we've got real specific here. No, I'm not. Tell me more. And someone's scrolling on their phone. You don't just sit there and look and say, I wonder what they're looking at. You just kind of lean over
Starting point is 00:09:13 and check it out. I don't, but I would be interested except for the whole creep part. Yeah, especially at a doctor's office. I'm not trying to lean next. But I have a 30 minute video. I'm saying that's loading it up on YouTube. Yeah, do it. I bet people watch it. You just can't know you're being recorded. Like, I didn't know. Because I'd never
Starting point is 00:09:29 recorded 30. But I mean, do you turn it off for like 20 minutes? And hopefully you don't know your bank account. What are you originally recording? Oh, I should have somebody. Yeah. Seeing if I want a jersey. Oh, the stream? Yeah. Is that TikTok stream?
Starting point is 00:09:40 I started to see if I want a jersey. That's funny. Yeah, I didn't know. Yeah. So I have that. And the second thing was, um, I have a suit for somebody on Instagram that hit me up like two months ago because they're getting married. And I can't find them because I don't let all my messages.
Starting point is 00:09:56 So if you're that person. Oh, man. I'll send your message. How are you going to know? I'll remember because they said something specific to me. And I was like, oh, I'm kind of that size. and I have a bunch of suits that I just give people usually online that need suits
Starting point is 00:10:08 and so if you're that person, you listen to me now, message me and talk to me what we've already talked about and I'll send you a suit. So put the same storyline of like... I know what the story is. And why? I know a couple specific details, but I don't know the name. Right, but you want them to write that again? I need to prove it to them.
Starting point is 00:10:25 So I have that. And then I was going to talk about the palette. We saw him sold the palette because I get a lot of messages about that. So we need to move it. Yeah, dude. I need money. I need to move the power. I need to do it. Yeah, yeah, we're moving.
Starting point is 00:10:36 Scoba. Moving and grooving. I'm going to put this on you now. Oh, boy. Okay. No, no, no. We've been taking pictures and working on descriptions so we can put it all up. Okay.
Starting point is 00:10:44 Oh, we have? Yeah. I told you that couple weeks ago to do that. I haven't seen anything. Well, yeah. Just because you haven't seen it. Hey, follow up. I'll follow up.
Starting point is 00:10:50 Yeah, I'll circle back on you. I just told you. Okay, well, we'll get that. Thank you. Let's open up the mailback. You send an email and we read it on the air. It's something we call Bobby's mailbag. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:03 Hello. Bobby Vones. My boyfriend and I have been together for almost a year. I love him dearly. He recently told me he can't stand my best friend. He thinks she's a bad influence and doesn't respect our relationship. My best friend and I have been friends for almost 25 years through thick and thin. I cannot imagine cutting her off. I'm torn between the two most important people in my life. How do I navigate this without losing someone I care about? Signed between a boyfriend and a best friend. Only a year in. You need chunk of deuces to that dude. If that's your best friend of 25 years,
Starting point is 00:11:34 Most relationships don't work. Or is he seeing something you've been unable to see because of the bond for so long? 25 years. No, no, no. I would think if he thinks she's, like, you have to assess if someone's a bad influence on you. But here's a long time to date somebody. 25 years is a long time to be best friends with somebody. Yeah, I'd say that's longer.
Starting point is 00:11:58 Yeah, but just a chunk of use. And like, what are the odds? If you're playing, playing odds here, doing numbers, doing. percentages. Who's going to have the higher percentages they're going to be in your life to help you in four years? Which one of those two? Probably the friends. If she's reliable. Probably the friend. He seems to maybe think she maybe
Starting point is 00:12:16 would have one of you. You got to wonder what he doesn't like about her. Yeah. And does she like him? And what do? No, I feel like this dude is no good. Okay. There is something that's making him feel insecure. There's something he's threatened by with this friend. Don't know what it is, but it doesn't seem healthy. if it's been your friend for 25 years, I think you'd be able to recognize
Starting point is 00:12:37 a lot of the toxic traits over that amount of time and if he's told you the toxic traits and you're like, I don't think that's true or I don't agree. I'd cut him. You didn't need to have all the talks.
Starting point is 00:12:53 Like, hey, tell me why. But if you have to decide, you cut the dude. It's only a year. Probably a mirroring him anyways, a loser I can tell him. It's just from that. It's one of those things where if somebody has a best friend 25 years, you just have to learn to like them.
Starting point is 00:13:06 or learn to like something about them so you can be around them. And just shut your hole. Because that's a hard thing to tell somebody. It's like they have a pet they've had for seven years. You start dating them. I hate your dog. Yeah, well, you're out. Goodbye.
Starting point is 00:13:23 Kick. Is that curb? I just kicked you to it. So I don't like how this feels. I would definitely talk to him, see if there's something a little more rational. Find out what he's threatened by, but probably just got to move on. Get you a real winner. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:36 What if this is a, he's starting with. a friend and then he slowly moves on to the family. Exactly. He wants to isolate. Divide and conquer. It's happened many times. I've heard of that. In Earth, not with me. All right, thank you. Close it up.
Starting point is 00:13:50 We got your email and we read it on the air. Now it's about to close. Bobby's Melkage. There are a lot of things on our culture that we just say congratulations to. Amy's the one that gave me this story. But there's a list of things that we automatically congratulate. Well, for example, if somebody does what, you congratulate them.
Starting point is 00:14:08 get a new job. Boom, that's a good one. A new car. Congratulations, dude. That's awesome. That's a nice car. I would say graduating. Yeah. That's good. Getting married. Having a baby. Yeah. Have a house. Get a house. Ray. Congratulations. Yeah. Are you guys in?
Starting point is 00:14:24 No, no, no, no. A couple more days, I think. Just days? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You're on your new house. Wow. Yep. The list of things they say we should automatically congratulate. New baby, starting a business, buying a house, getting married, buying a new car, starting a job. And here's the list of things we should also congratulate. but we don't always think about congratulating
Starting point is 00:14:40 when someone says they're going to therapy for the first time. Congratulations. That sounds weird, dude. I was about to say like, congratulations, but that's, uh. Maybe I would say, hey, good for you. That's better. Yeah, I think it's. Congratulations is weird for getting used, but it just,
Starting point is 00:14:56 and picture it just something to be celebrated. But it says congratulations. I know. How about ending a toxic relationship? Oh. Good for you. Hey, congratulations. He was a freaking loser.
Starting point is 00:15:05 Yeah, that sounds weird, man. Congratulations. You did a hard thing. quitting a dead end job okay that one I can sign up for fighting suicidal thoughts being in recovery it gets real dark I don't think congratulations is such a happy word that I would be like hey I like good for you for some of these or
Starting point is 00:15:21 keep it up or I know it's hard or someone celebrating a year sober would you say congratulations yeah that's good I would say congratulations on that one do you change your tone maybe from like congratulations or congrats Well, if someone is going to therapy, I don't think I'm like, congratulations. Right.
Starting point is 00:15:42 So you say, congratulations. Hey, I would just say good for you. Still sounds weird. So I have congratulations for you guys, what I would say congratulations for. Lunchbox for getting email on his phone finally. Oh. Yeah, still on tear. What?
Starting point is 00:15:55 Not there. What do you mean? He's got a cough. No, no. I don't have email on my phone. I'm not there yet. No. Do you have to cough?
Starting point is 00:16:04 I was going to, but I- You held it? You can turn your phone. my coffee. Congratulations. Congratulations. Congratulations for holding your coffee you have for eight months. Got it out. Eddie for being allowed to play golf with four kids at home. Congratulations. That's good one. Amy for not doodling for at least five minutes. Congratulations. Wow. You've doodled less and less. Yes. You've really been focused. I'm medicated. Congratulations. Congratulations. Hey, congratulations. Amy. Therapy. Yeah, medication. All right. So, yeah, those also,
Starting point is 00:16:35 congratulations just isn't the word all the time. What would we do for you? Oh, hey, dude, you had a full night's sleep. Congratulations. I didn't, though. But he hasn't. No, I know, but you will someday. No, no, but you're saying stuff that has happened.
Starting point is 00:16:47 Right. I thought he said his email was on his phone. I was like, congratulations. And he's like, nope. Okay, all right. Congratulations on getting offered something that you're not allowed to tell us about. Congratulations. Congratulations, bones.
Starting point is 00:16:59 But you don't know what that is. You woke up today. Thank you. Congratulations. Wow. It's time for the good news. With producer Eddie. Guys, you know Travis Kelsey.
Starting point is 00:17:15 He plays tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs. He's a Super Bowl champion. And of course, he's dating Taylor Swift. They're in love. Now, we've heard a lot of good things about Travis. He does a lot of good things for the community, including this. This is awesome. He partnered with Kodiak cakes, which they make like breakfast bars, granola bars,
Starting point is 00:17:32 pancakes, oatmeal, stuff like that. And he donated 25,000 meals for students. students in need. And on top of that, his mom, Donna, she had a cookie bake sale. She also donated some of the profits to that. Wow. So the Kelsey family's all good, dude. They're all into it. The brother, he takes a shirt off, drinks beer. That has nothing to do with the snow. No, it seems like a good dude. Did you see where, but not in America, Canada, you could bet if he was going to propose to Taylor after the Super Bowl? Oh, I'll take that bet. Well, yeah, but there are odds, obviously. And the favorite is he's not? Right. It's like plus
Starting point is 00:18:06 300, meaning if you were to bet 100, you'd win 300. Yeah. But you can't bet in the States. It was only like Canada. Ah, dang. But one of my friends was like, hey, should I bet this who lived in Canada? I said, no, you shouldn't bet that he's going to propose. He said, why?
Starting point is 00:18:21 I said, because, well, he for sure won't propose if they lose. So that's 50-50 already. Yeah, true. I said, and then he's, you think that's what they would want him to like take the attention off of, if they won, then you can take the attention off of that. Disaster. Yeah, it would work out perfect for the relationship. But you know what though?
Starting point is 00:18:37 If they did lose and they're on the podium doing the whole Super Bowl speech? They lose? Yeah, say they lose, right? And then San Francisco is like on the podium, getting the trophy, and then they showed one of the Trial. That would be cool. That would be hilarious. That would I would sign up for. They're like, who's watching this?
Starting point is 00:18:53 They would cut away from the championship in a heartbeat. Oh, for sure. In the middle of one of the speeches? They should even fake it if they lose. That would be awesome. Good job. Good job, Travis Kelsey. All right, that's what it's all about.
Starting point is 00:19:03 That was Tell Me Something Good. A win is a win. A win is a win. I don't care what you're saying. Yep, that's me, Clifford Taylor the 4th. You might have seen the skits, the reactions, my journey from basketball to college football, or my career in sports media.

Starting point is 00:20:23 And rule two, never mess with her friends either. We always say that trust your girlfriends. I'm Anna Sinfield. And in this new season of the girlfriends, oh my God, this is the same man.
Starting point is 00:20:35 A group of women discover they've all dated the same prolific con artist. I felt like I got hit by a truck. I thought, how could this happen to me? The cops didn't seem to care. So they take matters into their own hands. I said, oh, hell no. I vowed. I will be his last target.
Starting point is 00:20:53 He's going to get what he deserves. Listen to the girlfriends. Trust me, babe. On the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. I'm Eaglewood. My next guest, you know from Step Brothers Anchorman, Saturday Night Live, and the Big Money Players Network. It's Will Ferrell. Woo.
Starting point is 00:21:21 Woo. My dad gave me the best advice ever. I went and had lunch with them one day. And I was like, and Dad, I think I want to really give this a shot. I don't know what that means, but I just know the groundlings. I'm working my way up through, and I know it's a place they come look for up and coming talent. He said, if it was based solely on talent, I wouldn't worry about you. which is really sweet.
Starting point is 00:21:43 Yeah. He goes, but there's so much luck involved. And he's like, just give it a shot. He goes, but if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay to quit. If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration. It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat. Just hang in there.
Starting point is 00:22:06 Yeah, it would not be. Right, it wouldn't be that. There's a lot of luck. Listen to Thanks Dad on the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. Our show, Swifty, Lauren, is in studio. Are you happy about Taylor Swift and make it into the Super Bowl? Very happy. I love her and I think she's going to look great there.
Starting point is 00:22:26 And are you annoyed with people that are annoyed with her? Yes, it's so annoying. It's just, she's on the screen for a few seconds. I don't understand why everyone just gets so upset about it. Did you see where she was like, go away, thank you. Yes, I did see that. was on her. She doesn't want the attention. Yeah. Yeah. She doesn't.
Starting point is 00:22:43 She's an entertainer. Well, I think at first, I think everybody's probably in that camp surprised at how it's kind of turned on them. And some people really, I think it's in a way hurt her likeability to a certain group that doesn't matter. Wow, that's crazy. And it's made even Travis Kelsey, like,
Starting point is 00:23:01 not a bad dude, but like the bad guy because he's everywhere. I used to have no problem with him, but now he's everywhere. I mean, I can't even click on a website. Any without their, wow. Well, only fans. Good for him, though. He's super famous now.
Starting point is 00:23:14 But it, but it is being, I feel like it's being shoved down our throats, and that's why I just get annoyed. He was on three commercials in a row at one time. Really? During the game, yeah. But I'm not annoyed with it. No, I'm not annoyed with it either. I think people who are annoyed with it are kind of being haters. Haters and jitters.
Starting point is 00:23:29 Shake it off. Just shake those haters off. Tearrops on their own guitars, you know what I mean? All right, we're going to play Elder versus Millennial, which, by the way, Eddie, wants to say something first because he has asked me to give Morgan in a yellow card even though she's not in the game. Correct. Why? Well, what happens, you know, sometimes you have the game, but off
Starting point is 00:23:45 the field? Yeah, yeah. People say stuff. What did she say? I heard Morgan say that she thinks that Elder versus Millennial is rigged for me to win. Hey, you're losing. That's what I said. That's what I said. Eddie kept coming in and he was like, Lauren's so much better than you. I was like, Eddie, you forget that I was up against you, four to zero.
Starting point is 00:24:04 Like, it's just how the game goes. Morgan, you forget that I dominated you. And now Lauren comes in and I can't win. Lauren, three to one right now. She's dominated. I'm not giving her a yellow card because she's a spectator. But I'll be thinking about that
Starting point is 00:24:16 whenever she gets my game. Yeah, you can't get cards off the field. Or can you? Oh, you can be asked to leave the stands. That's true. That's a good point. 100%. That is true.
Starting point is 00:24:24 That kick you right out of there. That is true. Elder versus Millennial up first. He's a dad of four. I call him the Hispanic who don't panic. In games, he always seeks a victory. But don't insult his chicken by calling it rotisserie. It's producer Eddie. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:37 I love that one, bones. got three questions and Swiftie Lauren would know the answer to these most likely so don't miss it. Okay. Justin Timberlake's chart topping song, Rock Your Body, and here's a clip. It's a track off of what 2002 album? What? Okay, I don't know. I don't know album names. I'm just going to say
Starting point is 00:24:59 Bringing Sexy Back. Oh, interesting. No, incorrect. Lauren, do you know that? Justified. Correct, justified. Justified? Justified? It's actually a good name for an album. Eddie. What app? All right. sharing six second video loops and was very popular with millennials. Six seconds?
Starting point is 00:25:19 I remember Vine was five seconds. There's video loops? I'll go with Vine because I don't know anything else. Oh, it's Vine? Oh, cool. Let's go. Before becoming famous, where did Harry Styles work? Before One Direction?
Starting point is 00:25:38 Because he got famous in One Direction. Before becoming famous, where did Harry Styles work? I think Harry Styles, he seems like a coffee shop kind of guy. I think he worked at the coffee shop That's incorrect Lauren can you steal Wasn't it like a bakery In London or something?
Starting point is 00:25:52 No Of course he was Did they have coffee there? It's a baker Bakery Eddie No copy of the bakery I don't know that coffee or not They're the bakery
Starting point is 00:26:00 All right let's introduce Eddie's opponent She is our youngest producer Her rookie season And this game is out of control And she's looking forward To see in Taylor Swift In the Super Bowl
Starting point is 00:26:09 It's Swifty Lauren Let's score 2-1 Yeah Lauren What is the name of the blue and white droid introduced in 1977's Star Wars. Here's a clip of what it sounds like.
Starting point is 00:26:32 R2D2. Correct. Oh, wow. How does she know that? That's crazy. That's a very obvious one. What rock guitarist played on Michael Jackson's song beat it, and here's a clip. Eddie will know the answer to because they're older. Do you know that?
Starting point is 00:26:56 Van Halen? Correct. Really? That was a guess. Eddie Van Halen. Eddie Van Halen? That's crazy. I hate that. She's so good. I mean, she's already, how does she know that? I don't know. She's already one.
Starting point is 00:27:08 How old are you, Lauren? Seven. That's ridiculous. You shouldn't know those answers at all. Well, no, it's okay if she does, Eddie. No, she really shouldn't. Like, how is she so smart with that stuff? Like, she must know a bunch of useless information.
Starting point is 00:27:20 You know, I do know a bunch of useless information, yeah. What British singer who released a 1987 song, Never Gonna Give You Up is credited with Rick Rowling. Here's a clip. Rick Astley. She's a genius. She's already going to win anyway. But yes, there she is.
Starting point is 00:27:46 Oh, winner again! What are you going to win the Super Bowl, Lauren? I kind of want the 49ers because I do want to see somebody other than the Chiefs. But I've learned to never bet against the Chiefs. Like, I do. What about Travis? Listen, I love Travis and Taylor, but like, you know, I'm kind of wanting to. You tired of it?
Starting point is 00:28:10 I'm kind of tired. I want to see somebody else win. I have nothing against the 49ers or the Chiefs, but it would be nice to see someone else win. Do you see where you can bet on that if he's going to propose? Yes, I did see that. It's a little early, right? Yeah, and I don't think he's going to propose. pose on the field. I feel like that's almost like
Starting point is 00:28:25 proposing at somebody else's wedding. It's like taking away the attention. But I think he is going to propose by the end of this year. Wow. He'd be dumb not, too. Yeah, I agree. Didn't she move into the mansion? She living in Casino? She is living with him and then
Starting point is 00:28:40 he plans on after the Super Bowl to go on tour with her internationally. I mean, she's with that Joe Allen for six years. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And we never saw pictures of them. Well, they wanted to keep it private. Yeah. Exactly. Maybe that was him.
Starting point is 00:28:54 He's an actor. But it was him and he's kind of like a nobody. And they got together when that whole like she was getting canceled. So she was very like just private and public. Yeah for six years. Now times have changed. But I'm saying if you're Joe Allen and you're like, man, we had to stay secret the whole time. Exactly.
Starting point is 00:29:09 And then Travis Kelsey, dude comes along, got big muscles and all of a sudden he gets him super famous. Because he's definitely like getting an extra endorsement deals. Massif, it's making him actually pierce the consciousness of pop culture. Yeah. Instead of just being a really good football player. And so. She put him on the map. Swifty Lauren is to this show what Travis Kelsey is to America.
Starting point is 00:29:31 What was that? Dominating. This is dominating. That's it. Boom. Thank you. Good morning. There you go.
Starting point is 00:29:36 Another one for her. Be honest with me. Don't worry about my feelings. Everybody. But also don't take shots at me just for the gamesmanship. We'll never do that. No, no. We're just being honest.
Starting point is 00:29:47 I can already tell by the tone of their voices. This is not going to be, you're going to try to hurt me. Okay, I have a friend, not a close friend, but somebody that I know we text back and forth. He is a professional golfer. Okay. And so he plays on the PGA tour and we'll text like every few weeks or so. If like he plays well on the tournament, I'd be like, hey man, what up? He hit me the other day and was like, hey man, and talked to him how you been.
Starting point is 00:30:15 And I was like, good. And I said the following. And what I need to know is if I came off. stalkerish or creepy or lame or just a good buddy or all three or just a good buddy i want that to be an option too all the above yeah you forgot all the above i love chess when they have all the above because i always picked that or just a good buddy okay okay i said and again we probably talk every two weeks three three weeks ago uh he says hey hope you well i said hey i saw your last tournament how'd you feel when you played he said i was happy game feels better this year uh i think
Starting point is 00:30:51 I'm going to be dangerous this year. I said this is when I said something that could possibly be considered too much. You're making me nervous. I said that's awesome. I'm always keeping up. I have my alert on every time you play on ESPN. Oh, man. That is.
Starting point is 00:31:07 Hold on. Is that creepy? Because there's an alert. Well, it means when they're playing, it's like it tells me a score, keeps up with them. The notification comes on. Yeah, anytime anything happen. You can do that?
Starting point is 00:31:16 Yeah. With anything. Or any sport? Yeah. Any player? Because I have it set for Arkansas basketball. Arkansas football. And this guy?
Starting point is 00:31:23 Arkansas baseball. Okay, here's the thing. It's absolutely creepy. It's awkward. I said, I'm always keeping up. You're all my alerts on ESPN. And what did he say to that? Not a lot.
Starting point is 00:31:34 He said, uh, He said, uh, see you soon. Peace fingers. Oh, yeah, peace. Like, I'm out. Like, I'm getting out. Oh, I know. Never again.
Starting point is 00:31:41 Yeah, like, peace. Like, he doesn't really use emojis. Like, restrained order. Like, you should have just played it cool. You always told me to play it cool. But I wasn't playing it. I just was like, hey, I'm keeping up with you.
Starting point is 00:31:51 I keep you on the ESPN alerts to see how you're playing. Every time you play, it tells me. I feel like, yeah, that's what a friend would you. No, you say, oh, I looked at the last tournament and saw you did this. Not every time you hit a shot, I get a notification that comes through in the phone. Like you sound like a stalker. Am I a stalker or possibly a good friend? Honestly, your reaction to that.
Starting point is 00:32:10 Gosh. It doesn't sound crazy. No, don't let them convince you. I'm not. I think that you're a good friend. No, now you're just saying that because I'm reading. No, I'm not. No, I think that's what a good.
Starting point is 00:32:19 I got to learn every time they change. they changed the diaper. No, but this is a sport that they cover on television. Well, maybe they do it. A, I think that's what a good friend would do. And then B, because you're not a stalker, you're able to say that. So if I was a soccer, I wouldn't say that. I would just secretly do it.
Starting point is 00:32:34 Oh, right, right, right. That is a great point, Amy. Okay. Eddie? I try to sit on this for a little bit, just to kind of... Is it close in your mind? Oh, yeah, really close. There's a fine line between soccer and supportive friend.
Starting point is 00:32:47 Because at first I'm thinking, you know what? Like, if I were on the tour, you would... for sure do that notification. I'd be like, dude, I follow you. I follow your shots. Like, good tournament, bad tournament, whatever. But I don't know if you're that good of a friend to him. Like, you talk every two weeks, not really a best friend. I'm saying soccer, borderline soccer.
Starting point is 00:33:06 But what if he listened? I know he listens to the show some. Yeah, but does he say, hey, man, listen to every single episode of your show? I don't get an alert on every tweet that you guys put up. Or, you know, every time you guys post on Instagram, my phone doesn't go off. Like, okay. So we have one. It's okay. Eddie says I'm a, it's stalker feeling. It's close to the middle, but you're on the stalker side. Okay. Watchbox. Lame. Lame. Stalker. You are all the above. All the above. Like, lame wasn't an option. What? Lame wasn't an option. No, it was. It was option C.
Starting point is 00:33:33 Oh, okay. What would you have said if you were me then? Meaning what I meant. All you had to say is like, oh yeah, I saw the scores. It looked like you had a good tournament. I'll check it out when you played next. But you geeked out on Johnny bananas and like, yeah, I know. That's what I'm saying. And you said, and you said, I was, operation. I probably blew it and that's why Johnny Bananas didn't want to be my friend now. You did blow it. You yelled at him now. And here it takes one to no one. I'm not him. Morgan, okay, quick thought. Then we're going to be done with this. What do you think? I don't think you were. Can you refresh my mind? How many times have you
Starting point is 00:34:03 hung out with this guy in person? Oh, that's a good question. I don't know that you said. I feel like that matters. Two. And very close to each other. What year? I don't know what that means. As in like the same week? Yeah. Okay. because it was at the same event
Starting point is 00:34:20 I would say because it's only two times hanging out you might even back off just this minute. Oh no. But I don't think it's lame what you said. I think what you said is good and I think that's being a good friend. Who got whose number? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:34:35 You could tell by the text if you go back to the beginning. I don't want to. I think that piece emoji really meant like... Well, no, I changed numbers though, remember recently? Oh. Since then, I'll go to the top. True.
Starting point is 00:34:47 I just said, hey, Bobby's new. number. And then he said Bobby Who? He said, Bobby Peace. No, this is the first time that we ever messaged. I said, this is January 31st of 2020. So one year. Great to meet you. Good luck this week. Hey, do you say good luck every week? Oh, boy.
Starting point is 00:35:08 No. God, I'm such a loser. Every tournament. Hey, good luck. I'm such a loser. This is the tough one. All right. Hey, hold 12. He's got some water. Be careful. Don't hit it to the right. I'm such a little bit. It's like I got this, dude. All right. Well, I have some work to do on myself.
Starting point is 00:35:29 Here's a voice mail we got last night. Hey, Bobby. I just wanted to get a few updates from you guys. Whatever happened with the homemade pickleball court you were trying to build? Second thing is what happened with those Tiffany sandglass windows that you sold where they fell for a bunch of money? Just curious about that. Thank you for the. There's questions number one, the homemade pickleball court that I was going to build if I couldn't get someone to build it.
Starting point is 00:35:54 I finally found a company that would come and build it. The problem is when it has to set the asphalt, et cetera, it has to have a certain amount of 60 degree nights. So it can't be fully done probably until late April or May. But they're going to start in the next month or so, and I don't even have to do it myself on YouTube. Wow. Yeah, we were worried about that, dude. Yeah. It'd have been awesome.
Starting point is 00:36:17 It'd have been crooked. Yes. Yeah, it had been awful, but it had been hilarious for me to have to build my own pickleball court. And the Tiffany Glass, we have them put away somewhere. That house we're selling, but we took them down and they're in a special place. Lunchbox isn't selling for you. No, he can't sell the pallet that we spent 50 bucks on. Right, right.
Starting point is 00:36:37 No, no, I can. I'm working on it. Yeah. Here's Amy's pile of stories. Well, this is kind of cool, but also scary because researchers at the University of Tokyo have created a robot that, uses lab grown muscle tissue. So it's a two-legged robot and it mimics human movement. It can walk. It can turn.
Starting point is 00:36:58 That's nothing. I know that's a big story, but I saw robot that can make free throws. Like a basketball player robot? Does it have lab grown muscle tissue? Who cares? It was 100% from the free throw line. 100%? Yeah, it didn't miss a single free throw.
Starting point is 00:37:09 And they moved it back to 3. And it made like 4 or 5. Whoa. So whatever, science, people have injuries and get their stuff fixed. Whatever. 300% from free throws. I mean, I hear this story. and what I hear in my head is they're developing ways for people that have injuries,
Starting point is 00:37:26 for people that have been disabled to have a chance to move again. You know, they put that brain chip that Elon Musk had put in chimps in their first human. I don't know if they should say who the human is yet, but the goal with that is to give people that have been paralyzed or have different deficiencies, the ability to not. And so, yeah, it seems risky, seems crazy, but 100% free-threat-th-thor line, What else you got to say? Okay, well, all that sounds cool.
Starting point is 00:37:52 I guess the scary part would be like if they can build something that kind of is very human-like, and then it takes over. Yeah, and they trick us. Like, we don't know who's a robot. Yeah, but here's the thing. As long as you keep it plugged in, close to the plug it, it can't go farther than the cord. Keep the cord short. That's true.
Starting point is 00:38:08 Okay, that's true. You got us there, man. Yeah, don't put it. Don't make a battery powered. Make it only plug in a bowl, and then stuff they come chasing after you, bloop comes out of the wall. Or if they try to date you. I'll be cool with that. I just keep it plugged in, though.
Starting point is 00:38:19 She may not know. Super Bowl tickets are so expensive. I don't even know how people go to this. Do you think a lot of them get gifted it or like companies buy it and it's like a fun thing to go to? Is businesses, you know, taking clients. Yes, because they're like $10,000 a ticket. Yes. The cheapest ticket available is. It'll go down. But it's too high profile teams too. Yeah. And then what are your thoughts on going to a Super Bowl as someone that has gone before? It's way overrated, but you won't even, if you can go go, so you can also go, oh, yeah, it's way overrated. Otherwise, you're just like, no, it would be cool to go, because I was like that. I've been to a couple.
Starting point is 00:39:02 I feel like, you can't see any of the big stuff because it's real life. On TV, it's up close. I wonder if there's like a lot of Taylor Swift fans that are going to drop a lot of money to try to go. Well, if they're obsessed. I don't think they would do that, no. I think they'd see her more on TV. TikTok is doing a live fest this Friday at 5 p.m. and Megan Traynor is hosting it, and it's a live creator celebration.
Starting point is 00:39:25 She's going to be performing. Are they still in jerseys? That's what I'm going to ask. If so, I'm in. I'll buy some of those jerseys. Helmets? Yeah. There's going to be global creators from all over awards.
Starting point is 00:39:35 They're going to be handed out. She's signing cleats. I saw those yesterday. Have you? Yeah. Listen, it's my favorite hobby. I don't even want to keep the stuff. I will keep it for a bit, but I have no interest in doing anything with these signed jerseys
Starting point is 00:39:49 like in my house. The only thing I have in my house that I keep is, Arkansas stuff. And I have stuff from the 50s all the way to today. But like these random teams, these great players, I have the jersey. I'm not going to spend money to frame them. I just want to win them online for 30 bucks. And then sometimes I pay 30 bucks and don't win. So that's just money, you know, peepee down the hole. But it's so much fun. And then I'm just going to give them away. I, I, I watch you do one. I don't know. I didn't. From where? In my window? You showed me. Oh. But how were you? I don't know. I didn't understand the thrill.
Starting point is 00:40:19 I was like, okay You ever been on a roller coaster While also about to receive really good news And possibly about to win the lottery one ball away That's what it feels like Wow Even if you lose I've never done that but wow
Starting point is 00:40:33 Maybe I need to just invest my own money And then I'll get the thrill Wise man did not say that All right Okay, I'm Amy, that's my file That was Amy's pile of stories It's time for the good news With Bobby
Starting point is 00:40:44 Tell me something Amy, I give you a nickel if you can name the quarterback of the Houston Texans. Okay. John Sanders. John Sanders is, you were close. C.J. Stroud. He's teamed up with USAA in the Air and Space Forces Association to surprise retired. U.S. Marine veteran Craig Mazzaiska and they're going to the Super Bowl.
Starting point is 00:41:09 Oh, that's cool. The veteran who received a Purple Heart and other military honors for a service in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Iraq, will attend the game with his son and have the officer. opportunity to meet and hang out with C.J. Stroud. From 88 to 94, he served in the Marines, where he was a combat engineer. He became a teacher and a counselor. And C.J. Stroud was, and has been involved with this organization for a while. And so they found him. That's cool. He gets to go with his son, too. That's pretty cool. You know, I didn't know that, like, players that are still playing go to the
Starting point is 00:41:38 Super Bowl, they didn't make it. Did you know, though, if you're playing, if you're either a 49er or a chief? Obviously, you can't anyway gamble on the games, but you can't even play a slot machine. You're not allowed to gamble at all. Why wouldn't you be able to play a slot machine? Rules. I don't know. Whatever those rules are, you can't gamble at all if you're one of the two teams that are playing in the Super Bowl. Dude, that is tough just to be in Vegas and not that's not hard. And they're all staying like half an hour away from the strip and like places that aren't near the strip. Oh, they're not like in the casino?
Starting point is 00:42:07 That doesn't mean that they couldn't get there, but the rule is no gambling at all. I would imagine they have other things to focus on. Yeah, but like you know 20 bucks into that machine. Amy, you think that, but some guys get busted with... Yeah, lady. Ladies. In the middle of the night. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:42:24 Ladies. Oh. Later. Well, I guess not everybody's a starter, you know. You're in the backups? Right. Well, a lot of times go it's a starter. Oh, really?
Starting point is 00:42:34 Yeah. CJ Stroud's shout out. It's awesome. It's a great story. That's what it's all about. That was tell me something good. A win is a win. A win.

He goes, But if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay to quit. If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration. It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat. Just hang in there.
Starting point is 00:45:41 Yeah, it would not be. Right, it wouldn't be that. There's a lot of luck. Listen to Thanks, Dad, on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcast. Starting point is 00:46:04 Well, you'll be happy to know coming up in the next couple of segments, Eddie finally pays off his punishment. Where he had to go to a public place and just stand up and start telling jokes until somebody laughed. I'm a man of my word. And I hear it's aw-k-word. Of course it's awkward. Yes. Well, that's all pointed out.
Starting point is 00:46:19 So that's coming up in the next couple of sense. segments. But first, we've got to figure out Amy's corny jokes. It's time for the investigative corny. Here we go. The morning corny. 90 seconds on the clock. The clock doesn't start until the end of the first joke. Lunchbox Eddie, ready?
Starting point is 00:46:36 Ready. Let's go. What do you call it when two boats fall in love? Float. Tide. Boats. Waves. Coast. Fall on love. Love. Love.

Starting point is 00:48:59 And perform comedy Randomly until somebody laughed I don't think I spoiled anything But you know what? I'm a man in my word Well you're holding tight I'm innocent man So where did you go
Starting point is 00:49:11 I went to a coffee shop right down the road Were people there? Oh my gosh, so many people Oh no really did you pull up and you're like Oh no It was jam packed because first like I don't want to go in a coffee shop and just do my thing so I ordered coffee. Like just because like I feel
Starting point is 00:49:23 I feel bad. So I ordered you feel bad towards the people working there like you're going to go in and bother their day without buying something. Exactly. The coffee shop. The people work in there. I just feel like, you know, some dude goes out, starts doing something embarrassing and they're like, oh, great, here we go. But so I bought my coffee and I looked in the other room, which is kind of like the main dining area. It's packed. I mean, there's probably two tables that are that are vacant. And there's a stage, I guess, where singer songwriters sit up there and sing. So I'm like, that's perfect. That's I'm gonna do it. Went up on stage?
Starting point is 00:49:50 I went up on stage. Okay, we have the audio here. Are you ready? Here we go. Yeah, no, there's something first. There's something first. There's something first. It's inaudible.
Starting point is 00:50:19 You can't even hear it. You can't hear the whole thing. No, it's terrible. They wouldn't get audio and it just took video of it, and he didn't even record it with himself where he's at. You can't even hear any of it. Well, yeah, guys, I had terrible audio.
Starting point is 00:50:28 I had the jokes on my phone. Yeah, but you can also record from your phone. No, you hold it near your mouth. What? Yeah. You can hit. We do this every day. Yeah, we got to do another one.
Starting point is 00:50:35 This is a count. And you can't tell jokes you stole from the internet. What do you mean? You have to go up and just like make up jokes. Say funny stuff. I didn't steal those jokes. I don't even know what they work. Play it again.
Starting point is 00:50:46 You can't even hear what's going on. Like what? You like ninjas. Okay. What was the joke? What kind of shoes do ninjas wear? What? Sneakers.
Starting point is 00:50:57 Yeah, that's a joke I've told before. But Eddie, literally, you do this. You see this? You go to voice memos. You hit record? Then you go to the other screen, you pull up your jokes. And it's recording you right there. He's showing you technology.
Starting point is 00:51:10 Wow. Well, he is the audio guy. You can't even hear it. No, yeah, it's terrible. This is not count. There's video. It doesn't. Guys, guys, please, you can't make me do this again.
Starting point is 00:51:18 This is a nightmare for me. This doesn't count. And not only that, I don't think he can use jokes from the internet that he steals. I don't think that's as bad. I can't even tell what the jokes are. You can't hear it. You heard the joke. What kind of shoes the ninjas wear?
Starting point is 00:51:31 Guys, we're all right here. Why are we yelling? We're very excited. And I'm defensive. Okay. It takes a lot of me to do. Guys, now let's stop recording. Let's see how clear it is.
Starting point is 00:51:41 See, lunchbox is recorded that. Go ahead. You pull up your jokes. Da-da-da-da-da-da-da. It's recording you right there. That's a recording you just did? Yeah, isn't that amazing how you can actually hear that? Play Eddie again.
Starting point is 00:51:53 You guys like Ninjas? It sounds like... You guys like ninjas? It sounds like a sound effect at a press conference. You're playing. That's because people weren't even listening to me, but... So that's why it's cringgy. So how did you get down or someone laugh?
Starting point is 00:52:03 someone laugh eventually? There was a girl sitting by herself and she laughed at almost all of them. And I thought that was kind of cool. Everyone else, they were trying to do like job interviews, dude. Okay, so let's vote. Lunchbox, you're the lone voter. No chance that counts. No chance.
Starting point is 00:52:19 You can't even hear it. What was the point of the punishment? Please tell me the point of the punishment. For us to have a fun bit to listen to all the air. No, that's not true. Lunchbox, well, I want to be fair, you're the only voter. Do you vote at counts or no? No.
Starting point is 00:52:29 Okay. All right, well, how can he be the only voter? Okay, sorry. lunchbox and then what's your friend's name Jason Gibble No Nico Jackson
Starting point is 00:52:40 Oh yeah Nico Jackson Nico Jackson you have a vote Yes Bobby That's not No Nico Jackson says It does not care Is your agent anywhere near?
Starting point is 00:52:51 No I don't I can call them Oh you can only do that on the phone I mean I can't You're gonna call them right now Oh you're doing the bit now acting like you have an agent Got it okay Eddie you have to do it
Starting point is 00:53:01 No it both come on you can't make me do this again. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I do we have to hear it. I mean, what did you think? I have video evidence. Okay, I thought the point was for him to be embarrassed. Thank you, and I'm very embarrassed because a bit's so bad. And I told our audience in the tease to come over because it's going to be fun. You heard the joke.
Starting point is 00:53:17 And you heard the... I didn't hear the joke. You did. I didn't hear the punchline for the ninja one. And you beat out something. You didn't... You're doing blue humor. It's a copy shot. What bleeped out there? I don't know what that was. You're sitting in front of a table, and you can hear that conversation louder than your conversation and the guy curses. So we have to bleep that.
Starting point is 00:53:33 giving me. Okay, let's do one more vote. Lunchbox, you're the only voter. No! Got to do it again. Okay, thank you. I don't want. Come on. There it is. It's over. We played the bones. That's the stamp. Today's Thursday. I will give you two weeks. Two weeks. Great. Thank you. And I can do jokes for the internet, please? Man, that's kind of lame. You wanted him to write his own? Yeah, to get up and do stand-up. No, you said jokes, not stand-up. But to get up and be funny.
Starting point is 00:53:59 And I tried to do stand-up. I went up there and said, hey, I'm a local comedian. So is it cool? I do a few jokes. And some people were like, yeah, yeah, yeah. And they heard the first one, they turned around. Oh, I heard that part. No, I couldn't do so far away. Okay, so, well, this is a bit sucked. Thanks, Eddie.
Starting point is 00:54:13 Whatever. We'll get another one. Okay, one more vote. Lunchbox is just you. Yeah, got to do it again. Okay, got to do it again. Well, unanimous. There you go.
Starting point is 00:54:25 First of the month, hit it. Wake up, wake up, wake up. It's the first of the month. Famous firsts. If you miss it, you're out. Amy, ready? Ready. What was the first social media platform to reach one billion users?
Starting point is 00:54:40 Billion. The first to reach a billion? Yes. I go out the first round. Oh, oh, on Facebook. Correct. Yeah, sorry, duh. Good.
Starting point is 00:54:52 Got awfully angry there and sad. That was a tough one. Sorry. Lunchbox. Who was the first woman to be inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1987? She was nicknamed the Queen of Soul. She passed away in 28. 18. Let's go with
Starting point is 00:55:05 Queen of Soul. Yeah. Aretha Franklin? Correct. Yeah. It's your girl. It's my girl. Eddie, what state is known as the first state? What was the first U.S. state? What was the first U.S. state? It's their slogan, too. The first state. Let's go with, where is Plymouth Rock? The first state. Delaware. Correct. Wow. That's their slogan? Delaware. The first state. These are not easy.
Starting point is 00:55:31 No. But this is an easy trivia. I know. Yeah, yeah, yeah, you're right. This is famous first. Amy, what was the name of the first actor? Oh, you'll not get that. This is too hard. I'll do this in third round,
Starting point is 00:55:43 but I have to give it to you since I've already asked you. It's too hard. You won't get it. Well, that's not good. And lunchbox, you won't get this one. And Eddie, you won't get this one, so I'll just give you all three of them,
Starting point is 00:55:52 and if you all miss it, you miss it. All right. Amy, what was the name of the first actor to play Marty McFly and Back to the Future for a little over a month before he was replaced by Michael J. Fox? Oh, my gosh. I know that one.
Starting point is 00:56:00 Yeah, I think you would, but I don't know that Amy would. That is almost impossible. Maybe you can just guess someone and I don't think we're going to get it. What's his Wii stuff? Well, I wouldn't get it either. I'm on her side. This is not your, uh, who was going to play Marty McFlyde before he was replaced by, oh, Kevin Bacon? Incorrect.
Starting point is 00:56:25 Good guess, though. Eric Stolls. They shot a bunch of it, too, and they just wiped him out. I don't know who that is. Yeah. Lunchbox. Yep. What was the name of the first drummer for the Beatles?
Starting point is 00:56:40 There was a first one, and they got a new one. It's a true question. They kept him in the band and moved him to the other side. George Harrison. You knew a beetle, though. That's pretty cool. That's wrong. Pete Best.
Starting point is 00:56:56 Don't know who that is. He was the first drummer for the Beatles. Now you do. Is that all he's known for? I think so. Yeah, he left. They kicked him out of the band. He wasn't good-looking enough.
Starting point is 00:57:06 And so who came in? Ringo. Wow, what a break for Ringo. What a break. Eddie. Come on. Yours is hard, too. Come on.
Starting point is 00:57:15 Who was the first female rapper to have a number one song on the Billboard Hot 100? Oh. Okay. First female rapper? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. That's going to be left eye. Lauren Hill. Oh, dang.
Starting point is 00:57:32 All right, three sudden death, buzz in with your name. Okay. Wow, that was a tough. I know. That was tough. That was tough. Yeah. But it's not easy.
Starting point is 00:57:39 Insomnia Cafe was the first title to what popular sitcom before it was changed. Lunchbox. Lunchbox. Seinfeld. Incorrect. Eddie. Eddie. Friends.
Starting point is 00:57:48 Correct. Insomnia Cafe coffee show. Oh, perk. The perk or whatever. Yeah, central perk. Nailed it. Right. Lunchbox.
Starting point is 00:57:58 Kim Carrell. Incorrect. Don't know who that is. Kim Carrell. Should I know her? Oh, she's sex in the city. I was thinking of that other lady, but I don't know her name. Amy.
Starting point is 00:58:06 Amy. Carol Burnett. Correct. Amy, Eddie for the win. Eddie, Dolly Parton. No, Joan Rivers. Wow. Wow. What's the girl that is kind of raunchy? No.
Starting point is 00:58:17 Roseanne? No, she dated 50 cent. Oh. Chelsea. That's who I was trying to think of, but I couldn't. Oh, yeah, she was late in that. All right, here we go. The first baseball player did it at 50 home runs in a season. Amy.
Starting point is 00:58:28 Babe Bruce. Correct. What on earth? Sudden death now with the two one-pointers, Amy and Eddie. Last question. Who is the first animated camera? character. Eddie.
Starting point is 00:58:39 Mickey Mouse. Correct. Star on the Hollywood Rock is saying. What? Wow! That's a good win. That's a solid one.
Starting point is 00:58:46 That's a hard game. Good game, though. I took a chance on Mickey Mouse, man. Like, what other animated character? That's true. I definitely did take a chance on baby mouse. Yeah, I mean, I didn't even... You did take a chance of bed, but you can nail it.
Starting point is 00:58:57 Hey, good job, buddy. First game of the... Well, the month. Well, yeah, I mean, first day. Yeah. What's up, guys. Good morning. Thank you for listening.
Starting point is 00:59:06 Got a lot of choices. Appreciate you being with. us. Now let's do our serious segment, the news. Bobby's Big. Stories. Will a fortune player is robbed, according to people that had watched the show and seen the clip of a $40,000 prize for a puzzle that was clearly solved. And so I watched the clip. Megan, she's from California. She's a high school choir director. She needed to guess the two-word answer and one word on top of the other word.
Starting point is 00:59:35 and the first word was blank n blank in like p blank in blank blank rc blank blank d you won't get it by me doing that because I can't get at me doing that so it's whatever
Starting point is 00:59:51 so with 10 seconds left she blurts out our final guess of what sounded like pink orchid because that's pink is pink orchid that's what it is or faintly could be heard as something orchid now right when the timer goes off the correct letters are filled in and it reads
Starting point is 01:00:07 pink orchid. But again, play it back. Here you go. Living thing is the category. You have 10 seconds to try to tell us what's up there. Good luck. Something orchid. Pipe.
Starting point is 01:00:23 She said something. She said pink or think. Because you can just say it in it counts. You don't have to say final answer. You might have been overthinking. Think of a type of orchid. Pink. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:00:33 Yeah, yeah. But again, listen again. Tell me if she didn't say pink. Orkin at the beginning. Living Thing is the category. You have 10 seconds to try to tell us what's up there. Good luck. Something orchid.
Starting point is 01:00:48 My, but... Morgan, what you say? No, it sounds like she's saying something. She is saying something. I think she was robbed. Because even at the end, when he says, I think you're over thinking it, and she goes, pink. Like, oh, I'm such an idiot. Like, she... Or unless she's like, I said it, you're an idiot. Well, I need to hear it one more time because I'm sure.
Starting point is 01:01:07 Can we slow? Ray, can you send that over to the production real quick? At the end, we come back to it and slow it down. Because it definitely could have been something. Hey, we rarely call this. Send it over. They slow it down. We barely call it troops.
Starting point is 01:01:18 It's the audio lab. Live during the show. We'll send that to the lab. But if so many people got mad about it. That's crazy. Then there's got to be something to it. Pink Orchid is it. We'll see slowed down.
Starting point is 01:01:29 I heard it one time and heard something Orchid. It'll... Yeah. This is the game. I'm the worst. I thought you were good at it because you're, oh, that's Jeopardy, your grandma. My grandma would watch Will a Fortune I'd play and I was terrible. Okay, okay.
Starting point is 01:01:45 I could never figure out the words. Jeopardy, I was pretty good. I'm probably rusty at this point, but I just play Jeopardy every day. Documentary about Celine Dion's life and career. Oh. And then battle with stiff person syndrome is coming to prime video. Morgan, wasn't one of your goals to watch Celine Dion perform? Yeah, I really wanted to see her in person.
Starting point is 01:02:03 She's how I learned to speak French. I listen to her music. What? Do you know French? French? No, like in college, I studied French. She's like, it's how I learned a dunk. You can't do basketball. No, no, no, no, no, no. I was going to get a double minor in
Starting point is 01:02:19 college, and French was one of them, so I had a bunch of French classes, and when I was studying French, I listened to her music because she speaks French. She sings in French sometimes. Yeah, French-Canadian. Guys, I lost it. I haven't kept up with my French at all. No? I mean, parley vu francis. like I know basics, but I couldn't speak to somebody in French. That sounded cool.
Starting point is 01:02:41 That did sound great. Parley-Bu-Francais is, do you speak French? How are you? Jem-Mappel Morgan is, my name is Morgan. Can you sing some of her songs in French, since that's what you listen to? No, it's just you're supposed to listen to the language to help you, like, comprehend it better.
Starting point is 01:02:56 I used to listen to a record when I was studying French, like for kids, and this guy named is Gustav. And we go, Je ma'am-a-gustoff, Gustav, Gustav, Gustav. I only know the last ones, but then that's how we learned it. In college? Yeah, college. But I, that was for like,
Starting point is 01:03:15 it sounds like preschool. It was like ninth graders. I had to, dude, that was just terrible for me in college. I had to go to my friends and teacher and be like, please, just give me a C. Yeah. Because only C ever made in college. I only made one B in high school, stupid typing. And then in college, let me to one C.
Starting point is 01:03:33 But I was like, if you give me something worse than that, I'm going to have to move out of the honors dorm. Oh, man. I was like, I'll never, I'll never use French. And somehow I got to see. Not somehow, but somehow. Don't worry about what I did. Celine Dion is doing this, and this stiff person syndrome,
Starting point is 01:03:49 like, she can't really do much because she can't move. So she'll never sing again? I don't know if she's completely, I don't know where she is now in the process, if she can sing at all, but I feel like she can't, or she won't really be able to move a lot either. Like it is what the disease says it is. Wow. That sucks.
Starting point is 01:04:06 It's a neurological disease, and it's all muscle spas. It's like big muscle spasm, so you can't really control it. That sucks. An airline passenger made threats and then dropped their pants during a frontier flight. I thought that's just part of the deal at Frontier. That's what they do. Frontier's good. Frontier's like, hey, come on, you never know what's going to happen.
Starting point is 01:04:26 You may get peed on, you may have some extra leg room. You never know. Never know. An unruly passenger dropped her pants, her. Oh, my. What? And threatened to pee in the aisle. during a frontier airlines fight
Starting point is 01:04:39 according to the court documents are you ready for more of this we're gonna go whoa? Oh yeah, come on. Flight attendants wouldn't allow the 60 year old Oh my goodness. Hey? 60 year old woman.
Starting point is 01:04:47 Continue to be surprised. To use the bathroom after landing. She then dropped her pants and underwear and squatted to urinate in the aisle. She didn't do it. But then after that just to make sure everybody knew
Starting point is 01:04:57 she was meant business she's starting to kill passengers. Oh, I'll kill you. See, and that's what got her. She's facing a maximum of 21 years in prison. That's from Yahoo. who I was told if you have to go to the bathroom by a flight attendant, just go. Even if we say no, just go because they can't legally stop you if you really have to go to the bathroom.
Starting point is 01:05:18 Go like in your seat? What do you mean? No, go, no, you go to the bathroom. Oh, okay, okay, like actually go to the restroom. Or pull your pants down to go on the aisle and threaten to kill everybody. That also is a way. So you're telling me if the plane's about to take off and you got to go, you can just go. I'm not saying you can.
Starting point is 01:05:31 I'm not even knowing the law. I was just saying she told me. I said, can I go to the bathroom? And she was like, because we were going, starting to go down. Yeah. Descending. Yeah, thank you. That's what they call it.
Starting point is 01:05:41 Yes, thank you. And she's like, I can't allow you go to the bathroom. And I was like, oh, man, I got to go. She goes, I can't allow you to go to the bathroom. And I'm like, why are you talking like that? And then she said, but I can't stop you either. Oh. So the legality, I don't know.
Starting point is 01:05:59 Okay. You want to hear pink orchid again? Yeah, something orchid. Out of the lab? Hey, the lab flew. Okay. Go ahead. Thing orchid.
Starting point is 01:06:08 Hold on. You got to hear the s. Send it back to the lab. Hold on. Do it again. Something or kit. Something. I don't hear some.
Starting point is 01:06:17 I hear think orchid. I hear the, there's a. Oh, so much. Yeah, man. Why are people online mad then? They're just ridiculous. Idiots.
Starting point is 01:06:27 I always thought people online and all of them were awesome and smart. Every single person. Philadelphia woman's accused of threatening to kill passengers. assaulting an attendant on a frontier plane. Oh, another one. A Philadelphia woman's facing several charges after she allegedly assaulted a flight attendant and threatened to kill... Why do you got to threaten to kill... Why do you want to pee in the aisle, I'll do it fine.
Starting point is 01:06:46 You want to... You want to get in a flight attendant and not good. I hope you don't do that. But why are you going to kill other people on the plane? Yeah. Well, they're not killing them. They're just saying they were... But the way you want to say it. You know, it was on board a frontier flight to Philadelphia.
Starting point is 01:06:59 Authorities of the plane was preparing to land. And there you go. Boom. fight, I'll kill everybody. I don't get it. These people that want to fight flight attendants or people that want to fight on a plane, the only time you should ever fight on a plane,
Starting point is 01:07:17 you shouldn't. If it's all the way landed and then somebody's being a jerk about not letting you out in the right order, then I might punch somebody. Oh, okay. But not threaten them. I'm not threatening to kill everybody. Right, right. And I might shove some. Lunchbox almost beat up an old man once.
Starting point is 01:07:31 What? Well, he was getting restless and getting kind of feisty with the flight attendant. And so I said, hey, man, get ready. I'm about to take this guy down. He doesn't sit down in his seat. And it actually didn't happen at all like that. Oh. But this very old guy, like 100. Very old.
Starting point is 01:07:44 Who was going to die anyway real soon. Was he getting feisty? No, he was old and he couldn't figure out how to get his thing in the top. Yeah, and he was yelling at the flight attendant about it. No, he was just talking loud because he didn't have, he was hearing it wasn't working. Get ready. You were ready? I said, get the phone ready.
Starting point is 01:07:58 Yeah. Oklahoma demands teachers return their bonuses. up to a $50,000 error. And as lunchbox would say... Money gone. Sorry. Yeah, absolutely. You gave me a bonus. It's also a teacher.
Starting point is 01:08:12 Yeah. So why don't you go and find some politicians or somebody else that's probably making a little... Take some of their bonuses away. Or have some politicians step forward or people in government and go, you know what? I want the teachers to have their bonuses. I'm willing to give up my blank, blank, blank.
Starting point is 01:08:30 But that would be like the thing to do. But that's a lot of money. It was like, if every teacher got $50,000? Well, I don't know that every teacher did. Surely it added up. You're probably like teacher of the year. Oh, okay. So, yeah, so the letter arrived from the Oklahoma State Department of Education.
Starting point is 01:08:44 It told us one specific one. The story is about that she received the money in an air. She must have pay it quickly. And it's just, yeah, that sucks. And if it were a teacher or a nurse, I'd be saying this. Maybe military. People that do something pretty selfless. Yeah, first responders.
Starting point is 01:09:03 That don't really make enough, considering the danger that they're in. I just feel like somebody's got to figure how to get that money and make sure they can keep that money. Because she got the bonus, then she spent it. Oh, so it was one amount for one person. Oh, okay. Treat yourself. It wasn't just her, but this story was about her specifically.
Starting point is 01:09:23 That's from the Guardian. No, I think she actually spent it on stuff like her kids and like, yeah, man. She needed the money. It wasn't like it was just surplus money. Oh, well. I was thinking swimming pool. like Christmas vacation.
Starting point is 01:09:33 Oh, I don't think that's. Yeah. Americans trust nurses, the most of 23 major professions, a new poll finds. Nurses are the most trusted at 78%. I agree.
Starting point is 01:09:44 I mean, I trust nurses. With your life. Well, I wasn't going on that direction. Okay, I got you. Yeah. I was just going to compare. Doctors are so overwhelmed. And I'm sure nurses are too.
Starting point is 01:09:55 But I feel like the difference is nurses feel like they care more, where doctors just feel like look at data fix hopefully I'm not wrong move on to the next they're in and out not their fault
Starting point is 01:10:06 yeah how the system is but I trust nurses because I even talk with them we like have little jokes you see them more than the doctor and I'm like gonna put that do my blood pressure
Starting point is 01:10:13 to take my shirt off or ha ha ha they laugh at those nah never veterinarians number two yeah for sure engineers
Starting point is 01:10:23 the only engineer I trust a choochoo engineer I don't know any other ones yeah what do well I mean I feel like they make things do we just trust them like when we're in a building.
Starting point is 01:10:33 You just drive across the bridge and you just said you don't worry. Right. Dennis at four. Doctors at five. Pharmacists at six. Police officer at seven. College teachers at eight. Psychiatristor's at nine.
Starting point is 01:10:44 Chiropractors at 10. Clergy at 11. Fox News. Has that story. Clergy only 32%. What's a clergy? At church. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:10:52 What is it? A church? A man of the cloth. Ah, yeah. Or woman of the cloth. Well, yeah. People have ruined that. Dude.
Starting point is 01:10:58 It's bad. Certain people. Yeah. too many have ruined it in different ways. Not with just like touching kids and that awful thing, but also like stealing money. Yeah, all that. Streaming ads now are going to come to Amazon.
Starting point is 01:11:13 Following on the footsteps of Netflix, Disney Plus and HBO Max, Amazon's now including ads before and during playback of movies and TV shows on Prime Video. If you don't want to see the ads, because if you have Prime, Amazon Prime, you just get Prime video. But if you don't want to see the ads, $3 more a month. I already saw it. Popped up on my TV. Statista research. Did you get angry?
Starting point is 01:11:29 Do you pee on the floor? Yeah. What do you mean? What do you mean? You're charging me more? Here's the tip if you want your marriage to continue to be successful. Say thank you every day to your spouse. Just randomly or make sure that you show appreciation when they do something?
Starting point is 01:11:41 Why are you asking now? It's a little too late. Oh, that should be sales. Yeah, yeah. Well, it's good to know for a future, I guess. Most people who divorce feel unappreciated in the relationship and saying thank you for something. Okay, I'm just giving you a hard time in your name. I know.
Starting point is 01:11:56 I can handle it. Yeah, thank you for handling that. Yeah. as a general rule of thumb of all the things that you say try to single out something that they do that's important and thank them for doing it. That is from all you need is love and other lies about marriage by John W. Jacobs, M.D.
Starting point is 01:12:10 Oh, all you need is love is the lie. Should they say thank you to you? Unless you're counting love as chosen. Like you choose to love it by doing other things around it, like putting in the work. I know, I was just seeing the title of the book is funny. Oh, God, I thought you're saying it's a lie. That's the title of the book.
Starting point is 01:12:25 All you need is love and other lies. I was like, hey. You should chill, man. I know. I know now, but I thought you were just like, no, that's the lie. I'm like, well, you... That was funny.
Starting point is 01:12:37 Okay. New video shows Kansas City Chiefs fan Jordan Willis being cuffed moments after his three pals were found frozen to death in his yard. Remember this story, the three people they found? Lunchbox, what's the latest? So, yeah, they showed the police. I guess he was on his front porch when they were talking to him. They put him in handcuffs, questioned him, and then they released him. And now he has checked himself into rehab.
Starting point is 01:12:57 Okay, but does A have to do with B? No, I think that, you know, they questioned him and they were like, you know what? But what does the rehab have to do with those people being dead in his yard? I think they did. To me, it is, it says, hey, we were partying hard, like doing some hard stuff. And I realized that, man, I got a problem. So you think it's him having a realization more than I need to go to rehab to show I'm doing something positive because all my friends are murdered and I don't want to think it's me? I saw it as my friends just died and that could have been me because of, you know.
Starting point is 01:13:30 Because we were going hard. I liked that then. Yeah. I didn't know if it was a. But it could be him trying to say, look, I mean, I'm. Do you know anything about it? I mean, no, but do you think anything about it? I think they were doing some substances and maybe he went to bed and those people continue to do substances or they went and got more substances and.
Starting point is 01:13:52 You can say drugs. That's what I call him substances. He's trying to be careful. Yeah, I mean, all legend. All legend. And maybe it was laced with something. And so how they end up being outside and freezing to death? Well, maybe they're like, oh, let's go outside and have a cigarette.
Starting point is 01:14:07 Or let's go outside and just walk around. I mean, when you're on drugs, you do crazy things. Is that right? What about when you're on substances? But can't you go and knock out somebody else's the door or get in your car or something? I don't think they realized, like it's sort of like when you're on fentanyl, I don't, if it's laced with fentanyl. What are you talking about? I don't think people realize it and they just, it's a lot.
Starting point is 01:14:24 over. Yeah, but that's different than if you're just on drugs walking around. That'd be the difference in overdosing and tripping. You're tripping. You still... Scooba. Let's go to Scoob our drug guy. Scova, what... I think it's very possible you could be on something and be outside and not know where you're at, be disoriented and it's that cold. You get stuck. All three of them, though.
Starting point is 01:14:42 Yeah. Especially if they're all on the same thing and they're... If they took, for example, heroin, you're completely numb. We don't know what they took until, I guess, unless you know lunchboxes. No, there's no toxicology. Allegedly, though, what's the subject? Allegedly. Allegedly, yes.
Starting point is 01:14:55 Yeah, but if you're under certain drugs, you can be completely, like, I know people who took meth and they were on rooftops hiding from the cops. Like, there are some crazy things that can happen to your brain when you're on certain kinds of drugs. But if you're in cold and you just freeze to death, I also have a history of knowing a lot of folks in drugs. I just feel like they would go to somewhere warm. Like you're... No, not at all. Some people are just so numb or just so stupid. And if you use it for a very long period of time, it just don't...
Starting point is 01:15:19 You're going to get haunted. Don't say that you're interested here. Not them, but people who use... Exactly. And used for a long period of time, you could definitely just numb all your senses. Just the freezing, man. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:15:30 And I mean, when the cops came to his house two days later, he answered it with a glass of wine and in his underwear. So, I mean, he may have been still out of it. Substance. For real. And that's what he, it's a wake-up called him saying, man, I was that close. Well, that's good if he's in. That sucks for them. And there's no foul play.
Starting point is 01:15:51 It's a crazy story. All right, that's the news. Thank you. Bobby's big. Stories. A win is a win. A win is a win. I don't care what you're saying. Yep, that's me, Clivert Taylor the 4th.

Starting point is 01:17:17 We always say that trust your girlfriends. I'm Anna Sinfield. And in this new season of the girlfriends, oh my God, this is the same man. A group of women discover they've all dated the same prolific con artist. I felt like I got hit by a truck. I thought, how could this happen to me?
Starting point is 01:17:35 The cops didn't seem to care. So they take matters into their own hands. I said, oh, hell no. I vowed. I will be his last target. He's going to get what he deserves. Listen to the girlfriends. Trust me, babe.
Starting point is 01:17:51 On the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Everyone, I'm Ago Wadam. My next guest, you know from Step Brothers Anchorman, Saturday Night Live, and the Big Money Players Network. It's Will Ferrell. Woo, woo, woo, woo. My dad gave me the best advice ever. I went and had lunch with them one day, and I was like, and dad, I think I want to really give this a shot. I don't know what that means, but I just know the groundlings.
Starting point is 01:18:25 I'm working my way up through, and I know it's a place they come look for up-and-coming talent. He said, if it was based solely on talent, I wouldn't worry about you, which is really sweet. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:18:55 Just hang in there. Yeah. It would not be. Right, it wouldn't be that. There's a lot in luck. Listen to Thanks Dad on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. This woman, she announced she's pregnant with her 20th child. Whoa.
Starting point is 01:19:13 What in the world? How. Congrats. My grandma had 14. Really? That's not 20. You're right. That's true.
Starting point is 01:19:21 Not 20. That's still a lot. Like that's just being consistently pregnant for. Were the any of them multiples? No, they were all single pregnancies. Really? A 39-year-old woman is pregnant with her 20th child
Starting point is 01:19:34 and she'll continue to have more until her body doesn't allow it. I don't understand. She's 39? Her kids each have a different father. That's a suspect. Oh, well, well, well. What? And being a mom, like, having a business,
Starting point is 01:19:45 adding that with government stipends and donations, it's been profitable for her. Okay. It's from the Daily Mail. She's doing this for money? That makes sense. It must not hurt her anymore. The pregnancy?
Starting point is 01:19:55 Yeah. No. They must just... So has she been doing this since she was like, 19, 18? You would... Probably. I mean, yes, you'd have to...
Starting point is 01:20:04 Unless, again, they're twin. But again, I didn't say it about any twins. But yes, because, you know, nine, ten months. But then how long does it take until your body can, like, take it again? A couple... I don't know. I've never had a baby, but it's... People can do it sometimes pretty quickly.
Starting point is 01:20:19 As soon as they're down there. Immediately? No, no, no, no. No. Like, in the hospital? It's a boy. Excuse us for a minute. No.
Starting point is 01:20:26 Doctors? If you do, then your wife is one nice person. person because nope. That's what I'm saying. But she obviously has intentions of doing it as soon as she possibly can. Yeah, it's usually about two months. Yeah. Oh, two months.
Starting point is 01:20:40 But if it's different, okay, there's that many men that are like, oh, cool, okay, you just had a baby with somebody else. It's not about having a baby. These dudes probably just want a dude. Dudes are dudes, Amy. You're willing, they're ready. I know, but, okay, but every dude in this room, okay, why am I saying? It's the opposite of the Chattahoochee song.
Starting point is 01:20:57 Yeah, exactly. There's a lot of guys here. I wasn't ready. But this was like, he was ready and, well, so was she. And I know y'all are saying guys or guys, but I don't think any of y'all would be like, oh, okay, yeah, you just had a baby two months ago and you have 10 other babies. But we wouldn't, but dudes, just a general dude,
Starting point is 01:21:14 maybe they don't even know about the babies. Yeah, Amy, some do it with pregnant chicks. I mean, like, come on. Yeah, come on, Amy. Like, what do you mean, some dude? Like, your wife? No, no, like, they aren't there. Like, they see a pregnant chick and they're like, oh, I still do that.
Starting point is 01:21:25 Like, I mean, they don't care. Guys don't care. I don't know those guys. A lot of guys don't care. Yeah. I mean, but the more pregnant they get, the less guys. That's 100%. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:21:38 Let me talk. That's 100. Let me talk to Aaron in North Carolina, who is on the phone right now. Aaron, what's up, buddy? Morning, studio. Morning. I got a question right quick for you, Bobby. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:21:53 I'm a big Chicago Bears fan. I heard you were doing the raffle, and I was wondering if you wanted to part with that jersey. I'm actually wearing a jersey today. That jersey? This jersey right here, number 50 Mike Singletary signed. Signed Mike Singletary jersey. Where's that autograph in the back? It's on the number.
Starting point is 01:22:07 That's cool. And so I get on TikTok, tick, tick, tick, and I put in like $25 and they draw, and you have like a one and eight or nine chance. And I've just hit a bunch of these. That's crazy. I've lost some. You guys watched me lose yesterday, but then I hit. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:22:20 I won Odell Beckham Jr. signed Ravens jersey. And you got that CD Lamb? And then I got this here. A CD Lamb for the NFC East. That's going to Mr. Bobby, Mr. Bobby's hitting on that. Mr. Bobby. It's a mini helmet.
Starting point is 01:22:36 They are loving you. Yeah, because I show up and like, oh, buy another one. But they're all different. Yeah, they're all different things, not one store. Oh, I thought these guys were like, 50 of them. I figured them like talking at night to their wives, you're like, I don't know. This is a little bobby guy. How do these guys get this stuff?
Starting point is 01:22:51 They buy it. You can actually even buy it yourself from the wholesaler sealed because what they'll do is they'll buy a, they'll have all these people sign stuff. They sign deals with everybody. And then you know. what's in the macro, but you don't know what they're putting in the boxes, and they're all sealed, and they just send out the sealed boxes. I'm fine in these warehouses.
Starting point is 01:23:09 Oh, you're going to be that guy? Because you could buy one. Here's one here. You could not even get on TikTok and do it, but you could buy a 2,023 hit parade, autographed, FS Pubble Helmet, Diamond Edition, which means it's got to be a certain amount of players that are diamond. And you could pay $448 for it. I don't know doing this because it's not a raffle. $440. You get it for sure, but it's for sure either like Tom Brady, Peyton Manning.
Starting point is 01:23:28 There's some lower-end high ones like C.J. Stroud. that kind of thing. And then I get on TikTok and I do this auction. Jordan Love. Correct. Jim Brown, right? Oh, that's cool. So, but you wouldn't do the auction unless you have a bunch of them and then they, it doesn't matter.
Starting point is 01:23:42 That's what I have. How do I get a bunch of them? You can also order them in bulk. Let's look into that. You want to do the business? I have Jayne LaWattle coming today. I have a Moser coming today. Did you get your Warren Moon one yet?
Starting point is 01:23:58 I got my Warren Moon helmet yesterday. That's awesome. A ward around the house. My wife's like, why you're wearing a Houston Oilers helmet? It's autograph. I was like, why wouldn't I? He's got a Warren Moon's name on it. You guys, I have nothing.
Starting point is 01:24:08 I don't know what I'm going to do with this stuff. Yeah, you have a lot of stuff. I'm not going to frame it and put it up. I have an idea for your CD-Land mini helmet. Give it to you? Yeah. I couldn't believe it. Amy, you're watching me, and you didn't think it was that fun though, huh?
Starting point is 01:24:20 No, I wasn't getting any thrill out of it. What do you collect? Well, I don't know yet. So nothing? Yeah, maybe I will one day, though. It's a cool story. I don't really have anything like collect. No, I know.
Starting point is 01:24:33 You can say no. Yeah. You have those dolls, but you don't collect them. I have Madame Alexander dolls. My grandma, I guess, collected them for me because she would gift them to me every birthday, Christmas. Every year. I have a lot. And they're kind of creepy, but.
Starting point is 01:24:47 Lunchbox, do you have any collections? No. I used to collect baseball cards, and I haven't bought them in a while, but I should start again now that my kids are of age. You should start collecting baseball cards again? Yeah. Of age because they know what, you know what I mean? they're of age where they watch a little bit of sports. They don't know the players as well, but
Starting point is 01:25:04 that would get them excited to go to buy a pack of cards. Yeah, that's it. I used to do bobbleheads, but I don't have any you had bobbleheads? Mike D. Collects comics. Oh, yeah. Do you have any good ones?
Starting point is 01:25:17 Well, what's the difference in bobbleheads and comics? I don't really... But you did. Yeah. Yeah, I think it would be worth a lot of money. I go like once a week to a comic book shop just to go shopping. Do you have any... What's your most valuable one do you think?
Starting point is 01:25:27 Right now I have one that's probably like $150. just a single issue. How much you'd pay for it? I paid about 100 for it. Oh. And then I have some other ones. The thing with comics, you get them graded, like evaluated, and then their condition kind of makes they're more...
Starting point is 01:25:43 Makes them more valuable? Yeah. So there's... In a plastic thing? One of them I do, but there's other ones that if I get them graded, they could be worth up to like $500. Really? So graded, I mean, if it's like a nine or a ten,
Starting point is 01:25:53 it's even more valuable. But you have to pay to get them graded. Yeah, they have to pay to get it. Well, that's the person's job. Yeah, so then they're going to tell you it's worth more just because you paid them. But that's okay. Because then it's worth more. Then you sell it more.
Starting point is 01:26:03 That's what I would want. You're acting like that's a bad thing. That's exactly what I would want. It's exactly how collecting things works. Eddie, you collect anything? I mean, hats, but that's no value. I mean, do I probably have 200 hats? You wear them.
Starting point is 01:26:16 I do, but it's crazy. My wife's like, you've got to get rid of these. When I walked into my jersey today, where you guys like, what football players coming in today to, you know? No, man. I'm being used to it. You're just going to have a different jersey on every day. And they're all signed.
Starting point is 01:26:27 Yeah. And you can't wash them. I know. Oh, and I think maybe one... I have a bad feeling that my wife possibly grabbed my Jamar Chase jersey yesterday because I just left it on the table. No, no, no, no. I don't know for sure and possibly washed it.
Starting point is 01:26:41 Oh, my. I don't know that she did. Oh. It just... No, no, no, no. I don't know that she did. I'm so scared. All I know is it wasn't on the table.
Starting point is 01:26:47 It's autographed. But Sharpies, you can wash Sharpie. It stays on. That's true. I have a shirt that you accidentally drew on, like 10 years ago, and it still has the mark on the shirt. Yeah, guys, we signed shirts for people and they wear it, wash it. Yeah, but if you... And I don't know that she did.
Starting point is 01:27:01 She may have hung it up somewhere. But it was just gone and I didn't want to ask and be sad. Yeah. But then I thought, what am I going to do with it anyway? What do you mean? You have it. You want it. You want it.
Starting point is 01:27:11 I'm wearing it all the time. Number 50. If you're watching on the Facebook, number 50 today, Mike Singletary, signed jersey. So did you want to give it to that dude? I don't yet. Maybe one day I do something. And I appreciate that call, Aaron.
Starting point is 01:27:20 But for right now, I'm just going to keep it and just wear it and look cool. Make people think I'm in the NFL. I thought maybe you would give it to me since I was doing the Lord's work. Yeah, what Lord's work? Yeah, what's he doing? I work in an animal shelter here in the Rockingham. Wow, man, that's pretty good. Well, you know what I'm going to give you then?
Starting point is 01:27:37 Thank you. I thank you. A solid thank you. And we appreciate you. You're doing the Lord's work. Thank you. You know what I'm doing? We're on a bear jersey.
Starting point is 01:27:45 All right. All right. See you later, buddy. Maybe I'll get on one more. I'm afraid to look at my cardy card statement. Yeah. But you should, though, and let us know how much you spend it. Yeah, because it's too easy.
Starting point is 01:27:56 You just do your apple pay and it's like, ching. But I also got a bunch. But then also I'm not going to sell them back, so I just lost the money. Right. Even if I had, but I did win the Odell Beckham Jr. yesterday before we were leaving the show. That's pretty cool, man. And then you heard me.
Starting point is 01:28:07 CD Lamb helmet right there. Oh, I heard that. A CD Lamb for the NFC East. That's going to Mr. Bobby. Mr. Bobby's hitting on that. I was on the toilet and I was like, yeah! My son loves CD Lamb. Shut up.
Starting point is 01:28:24 What, what? Shut up. Okay. I know what you're trying to do here. He loves CD Lamb. dot D lamb One note
Starting point is 01:28:31 CD One C-E C-E C-E E C-D-Lam Is his name Playedocloma D-D-E
Starting point is 01:28:38 D-E Yeah I've been putting it off for a long time I finally went to a sleep doctor yesterday I had to schedule it And then
Starting point is 01:28:46 Takes a while It's hard to get into One of those Because apparently A lot of people Have these issues And I drive down To the sleep doctor
Starting point is 01:28:52 Exhausted And it's not that I haven't been able Sleep the last week It's like a month And a half Of averaging About three and a half
Starting point is 01:28:58 To four hours and I would say, oh, look at me, just working hard, but it's not. There was a time where I was pretty ignorant about sleep, and I would just work all night, get a few hours, travel, work again. I'm giving myself room to sleep, and I'm doing things, they call it sleep hygiene that actually allows you to be in a position to sleep better. Nothing's working. I don't know what it is.
Starting point is 01:29:18 So I go to the sleep doctor yesterday, and we had our consultation in the room where you do the, there's a bed in there. Wow, you look rested today. I didn't sleep there. Oh, yeah. you don't go and they snap their fingers and put you right to sleep wow look at you my bad we got there and I'm so mad I'm so like brain fogged they're like what is your address couldn't remember it whoa I can't remember home address because I was just so tired and your cognitive skills do decline when you don't get sleep and so I go through the process of filling out the paperwork and I had to text my wife what's our address I mean I guess you don't really have to give that out often no I know my address oh 3 8 I was like, what? No, but no, I know why.
Starting point is 01:30:02 It's not like my phone number, but my address I do have to write in a lot whenever I order stuff. Yeah, whenever you do. I think of these jerseys. Oh, right. Oh, jeez. Use it a lot.
Starting point is 01:30:10 Yeah, that's not talking about. So I go and I sit in the room and she's like, we could do this a couple of ways. You can go home and we put this thing on your hand. And she goes, and that works. Or because of what you're dealing with and how significant it is, you should just come up here and sleep.
Starting point is 01:30:28 and around the room, there are cameras everywhere. Like for sure, it's on someone's only fans when I'm doing it. I don't know how to get to that account. But there's a room. It's a bedroom. It's got like an old alarm clock. Cameras everywhere. And you come up and you just go to sleep and they put stickies on you. But I roll around so much.
Starting point is 01:30:48 I'm going to rip them all off. Yeah. So that to me is interesting because does someone sit there and watch you? you just recorded and then they go back and watch the tape or do they just go and read your vitals and then go to that part of the tape. And you can lock the door, right? Can you imagine if you couldn't? If someone comes in.
Starting point is 01:31:11 I don't know that anybody comes in. Right. So let's lock the door. Yeah. For sure. So is it at a doctor's office? Yes. So somebody's got to be there.
Starting point is 01:31:22 It's a center. But it looks like a bed like a bedroom or is it? So you walk in there's a waiting room. There's some people sitting around. and you just look around and you be like, you sleep? Yeah. You sleepy? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:31:31 So when you're sleeping there overnight, are there other people sleeping next door? I don't know. Do you have roommates? I didn't ask that because I felt like that would be creepy. Bunk kids? Hey, anybody else sleeping around here? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:31:41 Anyway, I can log into their system. But no, there are cameras everywhere. My doctor or what I think maybe she was a, what's the level of nurse that's? Physicians assistant? Practitioner. Nurse practitioner. A level of nurse that's up a level, right?
Starting point is 01:31:55 Yeah. They kind of like prescribed maybe. My nurse practitioner who was over in my sleep. Okay. She was awesome. And she would like like to come and sleep here. Or we're just not going to have as sufficient a dad as you're going to need. And so I don't know, maybe next week.
Starting point is 01:32:13 But can I go and then sleep and they come to work? Or do you have dinner there? Like, do they have a great question. Room service? Yeah. You call? You do get up in the middle of night sometimes. Yeah, where's the bathroom?
Starting point is 01:32:23 Exactly. That's so weird. Shared showers? And where does Stanley stay? Right. He's got to go with you. Right. They monitor him too.
Starting point is 01:32:33 Well, part of you's got to be maybe a little bit excited that you're on a path to. Part of me is a relief that I just went to do it and we'll get it out of the way. I've been kicking the can for a long time. Maybe it's sleep apnea, which I'm not super familiar with except it's like part of the breathing closes a bit while you're sleeping. Your mouth opens. I've read about it on the internet, but when she talked about it, sounded like for real. Oh, you can get hooked on one of those machines like at night then.
Starting point is 01:33:02 If that's what it is, right? But there could be a lot of things. A lot of people have like restless leg or twitches and it wakes them up. That's not what's happening to me. Some people just have crazy anxiety. And I don't feel that I have anxiety in the daytime at all. I'm at a level. I don't know what the level is.
Starting point is 01:33:16 It's a level maybe of constant stress. So it doesn't stress at all. It just feels normal. And it may manifest itself when I'm sleeping. But they have such anxiety that when they finally slow down, wakes them back up. I wear this aura ring and it shows me I'm stressed out while I sleep because it shows you your stress levels.
Starting point is 01:33:33 That's crazy. And when I'm awake, it's kind of in the middle, but when I fall asleep, it goes up into the stress area, which is weird. So that aura ring is like a mood ring. Yeah, it doesn't change colors.
Starting point is 01:33:44 It doesn't, it, yeah, I tell it my mood. Yeah, it's not based on your body. It's based on like other things. Yeah, it's the opposite. I don't know that. That's what I'm wondering. I don't even know how radio works, so I'm not the guy. Or internet.
Starting point is 01:33:57 Yeah, yeah, I have no idea how. I know, I know. Any of the stuff that I. Bluetooth, who knows? It's crazy, though. It's awesome. Cell phones, who knows? I don't know.
Starting point is 01:34:05 But that's what I did. That's all I'm going to do it. Hopefully next week or the week after that, but you just go and you sleep there, and that's kind of weird. It feels weird. You parked car on the parking lot. I hope nobody breaks into it.
Starting point is 01:34:15 Yeah, that's crazy, man. That's so weird. Do you watch going with you? Yeah, can they get it done in one night or they think you might need to do multiple. I got to move in for a month. Oh. Do one more day. One more day.
Starting point is 01:34:27 There might be more severe cases. I like it. Your sounds pretty severe. No, she doesn't go. It's a small bed. Okay. And then you do it one night. And I said, is there any chance that I do this?
Starting point is 01:34:38 And it's like when you take your car in and it's been making a weird noise. And all of a sudden you get to the guy and it doesn't make the noise and you just feel like an idiot. I hate that. And she's like, yeah, but only if it's like super nightmare related. And she asked me if I had night terrors. And I said, I don't. I have nightmares sometimes. But they're far fewer.
Starting point is 01:34:56 And most of that's from like the PTSD from getting jumped or having my house broken into or having a gun to my head, a different instance. So I would have those and my nightmare is the same. Wherever I am, I'm asleep and I dream. I'm exactly where I am, but somebody's breaking in to kill me. So when I wake up, I can't tell the difference in a real life or a dream. So I have to get up and fill the walls. Right. And so I get up just to make sure, like I'm filling the walls.
Starting point is 01:35:22 I'm not dreaming. It's weird for like two minutes. It's weird because I don't know if I'm dreaming or. not. And she was like, okay, good to know, nightmare or night terror is if something happens and you go in your sleep or you just start kicking. And I was like, oh, trust me, my wife would tell me. So that's a night terror. Yeah, night terrors, if you're like, st. But you don't do that. You just kind of also the wake up with a, I wake, yeah, and my terror would be, I mean, I wake up like that if I'm even taking a nap for some reason. Or if it's not work. I'm just like, uh,
Starting point is 01:35:56 eyes open, awake. So we're trying to get a fixed. Yeah, you're on your way. Good luck, man. It's weird. It does sound really weird. It feels a little guilty about it too. It definitely feels like a rich person thing.
Starting point is 01:36:10 Like a sleep doctor? Who would go to a sleep doctor? No, I don't think it's a rich person thing. I remember working for the news and like doing a story on it. And we weren't doing it for rich people. I got a question. Can you have visitors? Like, do friends get to come over?
Starting point is 01:36:21 I don't think it's like a hospital stay? I think you just go and sleep. What are you going to do? Just go over and slumber? No, no. I meant like, they show up and we got a PlayStation and nine of us. Do you have to turn your phone in? I don't guess.
Starting point is 01:36:32 I don't think it's like a, like, is there a curfew? Can you come and go? That's a good question. That one I like. All right, right, race then we have to go. Bobby Bone Show. Boney. This story comes up to us from Polk County, Florida.
Starting point is 01:36:46 A 46-year-old man driving his truck down the road and all of a sudden, whoop pulls him over. He walks up to the truck says, hey, man, you know why I pulled you over? No, officer and he goes, you have your license plate covered. Oh, sorry about that. Can I see your driver's license? Guy pulls out his driver's license. Only problem is that morning he was cutting the M up with it. The M.
Starting point is 01:37:13 Marijuana? Meth. Meth. Why not just say it if we go to this whole thing? The M. It's more interactive. If I don't know what you're talking about. Yes.
Starting point is 01:37:23 And so there was still meth all on the driver's license. So they're like, hey man, get out of the truck. Then they search the truck and they find big quantities of meth. I wonder why his license plate was covered. He was doing something shady. Well, I mean, was he doing it? Well, no, because you will get busted. Yeah, if your license place is covered.
Starting point is 01:37:39 If you drive down the road, it makes it obvious. I wonder if he was committing a crime and had a drive underneath a camera. Yeah. I don't know. Why else would you do that? M. He's trying to get some M. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 01:37:51 Bobby, share more. This is interactive. True. Anytime we ask a question, it's interactive. It's choose your own adventure. I did see one of our. listeners post a picture of the booty patrol truck. I thought that was hilarious.
Starting point is 01:38:01 The booty patrol truck made the bonehead because it's not Border Patrol, but it looks like the Border Patrol. So they pulled it over. It says booty patrol. They changed the letters on it. It was by the beach. And after we talked about it, listeners saw it and took a picture of it. Love it. They was getting gas. And it's booty.
Starting point is 01:38:16 I love it. I'm Lunchbox. That's your bonehead story of the day. We got a voicemail from Westin. Here you go. Trying to get an update on Abby's guitar lessons when we're going to hear some strings of string in from Abby Lee Anderson
Starting point is 01:38:34 Thanks love the show Abby when's the recital? It was supposed to be in December man it was? It was not December No okay Mike just said it wasn't Mike knows everything It wasn't Mike okay I thought it was supposed to be right before Christmas You thought I guess wrong I mean I check my calendar Abby when is the recital I mean whenever
Starting point is 01:38:52 Do we have a date set? Oh it's today Whoa. Today. Get the guitar. Either maybe yesterday, January 31st, or today's February. February 1st. Okay.
Starting point is 01:39:03 So that's on us, though. We didn't give you enough time. Okay. Do your recital? Do you feel like you're ready? I've been practicing, so I think so. Then let's just set a date right now. So if today's February 1st, let me get my calendar up here.
Starting point is 01:39:17 Because I do want to give her a bit of time without just. How about Abby, we do it on the 16th? The 16th. Okay. That's a. two weeks from tomorrow. I like that. And you have learned to play guitar.
Starting point is 01:39:31 And the reason you learn to play guitar is because you would go and you would sing at bars, but you had to pay somebody to play. So we're like, why don't you save yourself some money and actually learn a skill and learn how to play guitar? Yeah. And lunchbox called me lazy. Well, you're definitely not lazy.
Starting point is 01:39:46 But you're not lazy. But I motivated you to, I said, lose it. No, you made, you didn't motivate her. What do you mean? I didn't motivate her. I said, if you insult somebody, they can definitely find motivation or they can quit or anger. That's not really a motivational technique.
Starting point is 01:40:01 It is because it's like I'm going to, it gives them the chip on their shoulder they need for the drive to succeed. But not everybody loves a chip. Wow, man, a lot of words. Well, yeah. Okay, so, good? Yeah, the 16th.
Starting point is 01:40:12 You're welcome. I think she was more so encouraged. Exactly. By us. By us. By us telling her we believe in her. Because I brought it and said, listen, why is Abby, like,
Starting point is 01:40:20 she's been quote unquote playing seeing these. Why do you want credit for everything? For like two years. He did no work. And she hasn't learned anything about the guitarist. She's not evolving as an artist. And you were like, here she has a good point.
Starting point is 01:40:31 Abby, you said that. Yes. Lunchbox is the man. Thank you. Oh, what? Yes. Lunchbox shamed you into playing guitar. I know.
Starting point is 01:40:38 He actually did. So your recital in two weeks in a day, okay? Uh-huh. Everybody feel good about that? Yeah. Oh, man. Yeah, I do too. That's going to be awesome.
Starting point is 01:40:46 Yeah, I can't wait. Don't worry about the songs you're going to do yet. I mean, you figured out, but we'll ask you about it next week. Okay. All right. We'll see you guys tomorrow. Bye. A win is a win.
