Starting point is 00:01:18 In 2023, Bachelor star Clayton Eckerd was accused of fathering twins. But the pregnancy appeared to be a hoax. You doctored this particular test twice, Ms. Owens, correct? I doctored the test ones. It took an army of internet detectives to uncover a disturbing pattern.
Starting point is 00:01:35 Two more men who'd been through the same thing. Greg Gillespie and Michael Manchini. My mind was blown. I'm Stephanie Young. This is Love Trapped. Laura, Scottsdale Police. Starting point is 00:01:56 Come on, Bobby. Happy Thanksgiving. Happy Thanksgiving There are a lot of Thanksgiving songs And you know why? Because Christmas is right around the corner And it's bigger Oh so they don't even bother making things
Starting point is 00:02:18 Yeah it's like what are you going to do Play it for two days Thanksgiving is not celebrated for two weeks Like Christmases So and what stinks is Thanksgiving is great Yeah it doesn't stink But you know
Starting point is 00:02:31 It's kind of the junior varsity Of the two Because they're so close You know how you go watch the junior high game Sometimes before the high school games Yeah it's on Thursday And sometimes you have to decide for just one holiday, you wait and you only do Christmas
Starting point is 00:02:40 and not Thanksgiving, but if you get to do both, you do both. So it's really cool because it's a junior varsity holiday, but it's still a holiday. As you can tell, I don't have a lot of holiday love when I was a kid. I'm trying to shake it now. I'm like, I love them both, but Christmas definitely. You're right, Christmas.
Starting point is 00:02:56 Christmas, for sure. Absolutely. That's varsity. Happy Thanksgiving, everybody. Amy, what is your favorite Thanksgiving side dish? Oh, sweet potatoes, candy yams, whatever people call it different things, but the kind, the chunky kind, not the mashed kind, and marshmallows on top. Eddie just asked me recently about sweet potato pie. Yeah, because I've gotten sweet potato pie when I thought I was getting pumpkin pie.
Starting point is 00:03:18 They're very similar anyway. Not totally the same, but sweet potato pie is sweet-ish-ish. Yeah, textures. A lot of sugar. Semi. It looks the same. But you didn't like it? No, I just got home and they're like, no, this is sweet potato pie.
Starting point is 00:03:31 Like, we totally get pumpkin pie. You idiot, they get you? Dummy. Put you in the closet. What'd you do, take it back? No, somebody ate it, but I just. didn't want to eat it because I like pumpkin pie with cool whip on top. And you heard potato and pie and didn't like it.
Starting point is 00:03:44 Yeah, like cream cheese or whatever cheesecake. I think of cream cheese. That's not sweet. You know, it's funny. I think of sweet pie. I leave that potato in my head. And then I think of cheese, cake. I just, it's just cake.
Starting point is 00:03:57 Wow, that's crazy. I do the opposite. Just potato veggie. Yes. Happy Thanksgiving, everybody. Eddie, your favorite side dish? Oh, I'm going to have to go with the rolls. But the rolls that come.
Starting point is 00:04:07 What? Yeah, the rolls that come like. they're not cooked yet so you put them in the oven for like 15 minutes with butter, that's my favorite part. On Thanksgiving, your favorite side dish of all side dishes? The roll. I don't know if that's a side dish. Well, I don't
Starting point is 00:04:20 ever eat rolls with anything. Except Thanksgiving. We're not hating. We are a little bit. You're totally hating on me. I like cranberry sauce. What? The ones in the can? That's your favorite side? Oh, I'm talking it up here. I like cranberry sauce because it's the only time really you eat it the whole year. I'm a favorite, but I think it's a good Thanksgiving
Starting point is 00:04:36 day, like a little side treat, garnish, because we never eat it any other time. But I'm going to go, my to, probably, I'm thinking rolls, right? Now I'm going to get made fun of it. Because I like mashed peels and white gravy, but I can have that any time. No, but that's special on things. I do get it all the time.
Starting point is 00:04:55 Yeah, you're not alone in that. Okay, well, look, we're here. We're sort of here. Yeah, we're here. We're here right now. That's the grave. I see you. We're sitting around dinner table right now, even though early in the morning.
Starting point is 00:05:07 Happy Thanksgiving. everybody, it is the Bobby Bones. It's time to open up the mailbag. You send an email and we read it all the air. It's something we call Bobby's Mailbag. Yeah. Hello, Bobby Bones. It's hunting season.
Starting point is 00:05:23 And I hate it because it always leads to arguments with my husband. To be honest, I really have no issue at all with them going hunting, but it never fails every year that we fight. I'm angry with him now because he shot his deer at 12 in the afternoon. and it's 8.19 p.m. He's not home. We have three kids, 14, 9, and 2, and he doesn't even text me to let me know not to worry.
Starting point is 00:05:45 I have no idea if he's out in the cold or if he shout to deer or what's happened. Do I have the right to be angry at his lack of consideration? Any advice on staying sane and keeping a healthy marriage during hunting season? Signed, dear God, help me. Now, this hunting can be interchanged with softball. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:05 Golf? Honey? Video gaming? Football. Yeah, video gaming at home, though. Oh, true. That'll be the difference. So, yeah, this happens.
Starting point is 00:06:14 And this happens with me a bit too where I just, sometimes forget that I have a home I live in. And I just, if I have a day off, I'll just go and play golf and never even, and I have my phone, I throw it in the golf cart, and never even look at it.
Starting point is 00:06:27 Which is rare for me. But I do this too, and I'm trying to get better at it. So you have no issue with him being gone. Your issue is just with him not reaching out to you saying that I'm okay. That seems like an easy thing to get through. I think the harder one is like, hey, I don't want you to be hunting so much. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:44 That's where the big fights comes. Yeah. So here's what I say to do. Fight about that and then back up into, okay, you can hunt as much as you want, but you have to call and let me know. Can I tell you what my mom did? Yeah. So my dad would go hunting every weekend with the boys.
Starting point is 00:06:58 And then she got upset and she told him, hey, I want to start going with you. Oh, no. Uh-huh. Uh-huh. That's good stuff. That's good stuff. What? Ah, no, it's just the boys.
Starting point is 00:07:08 You know what? I'll just stay home. It's fine. So he's staying home. He didn't go hunting for the rest of the season. Yeah. What? I don't think that's going to happen.
Starting point is 00:07:16 That's a funny. Wow. Yeah, it was a bluff. I think my mom totally bluff. She didn't want to go hunting. I guess you could say that about golf. Total bluff. I wish my wife would be like, I'll go play golf.
Starting point is 00:07:25 Yeah. Yes. I'd be amazing. Let's go. Every day. Yeah, twice a day. It's going to the morning in night. I'll go wrap to the show.
Starting point is 00:07:34 in your own relationship. I just do whatever she says. Okay. That's it. We've got your email and we've read it on the air. Now it's time to close. Bobby's mailbag. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:46 It's time for the Bobby feud. 2,000 Americans were asked. What's your favorite thing to do on Thanksgiving? There are 10 answers on the board. Amy, you're up first. Okay. Eat. Jomey eat.
Starting point is 00:08:01 Number one answer worth one point. Oh. Now, you don't get the most point. for number one because it's the easiest. This is a difference, not a speed round. Mm-hmm. So one point for eat. Go ahead.
Starting point is 00:08:10 Watch football. Show me football. Number three. Okay. Sleeping up. Sleep and down. Nap time all around. Number five.
Starting point is 00:08:25 Okay. Okay. Watch movies. Watch movies. Watch movies. I love watching. That's it. Yeah, you got to go, yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:43 Let's go to a movie. I don't know why Ray said no to that. Oh, yeah, that's same thing. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. That's nine, though. Big points. That's good, Amy.
Starting point is 00:08:50 All right. Okay. Play games. I love to play games. Like Q's and Q's? Of course. Blank's. Play that.
Starting point is 00:08:59 Available at Target, Barnes & Noble at wherever you buy your games. Yeah. Show me games. Okay. We're not going to play. I'm running out. No one's ever run a category.
Starting point is 00:09:10 Yeah. Ever. Family time. Show me family. Well, this is not my favorite thing to do, and I know you got to eat, but some people love the cook. Show me cook. Oh, man. I had that, I had cook.
Starting point is 00:09:26 Yeah, that's some people's love language. Amy came away with 28 points. Now, there's still a chance for me to win this thing. I'm about to win it. Go ahead. Drink! Show me drink. Correct.
Starting point is 00:09:36 Oh. Remember the third round is double points. Wow. I know I'm in trouble. My list is all scratch. shot over here. But you know what I mean? You gotta get to those Black Friday places early. Shop! Show me shop. Oh, I thought that was for sure on there.
Starting point is 00:09:58 2,000 Americans were asked, what's your favorite thing to do on Thanksgiving? I think I thought of a new rule, not for this time for next time. First round worth one, second round, double points, third round, triple points. Put some wrinkle in it. That's good. How many points do I get for a drink? Two. You're only 26 back. Eddie. After you eat, you go for that walk. That walk is fun.
Starting point is 00:10:18 Let's go. Walk or run. Okay. Good, walk or run. Now I'm in trouble. But let's say... Just doing it on Thanksgiving. Let's say traveling to somebody's house.
Starting point is 00:10:33 Traveling. Favorite thing to do on things to even traveling. Love traveling. What in the world? It's so much fun. Maybe is it like road trip. That was a good guess, Eddie. So after the first round, Amy's dominating.
Starting point is 00:10:44 28. Lunchbox 2, Eddie, 8. Two answers on the board. Still enough points, though, if you get it in the third round. Oh, so I need to miss this one. So you guys kind of need to punt in the second round. Okay, I can do that. Amy?
Starting point is 00:10:55 So eat covered all the eating? Well, I don't know. You can say whatever you want, but. Eat. Okay. I don't know, guys. I'm out. Music.
Starting point is 00:11:07 Christmas music. She yelled Christmas music. Shoot. Lunch box. Oh, man. I love this. Every Thanksgiving. washing the car
Starting point is 00:11:17 Watch the car Oh I missed it Let's get some dead use Eddie? Yeah easy Go to the bathroom Go to the bathroom No
Starting point is 00:11:24 All right Round three Where points are worth Double Okay I'm ready I don't have anything though There's a number 7
Starting point is 00:11:34 And the number 10 I got it I got it So there's 34 points available Right now Go ahead Amy Put up the Christmas tree Dang it
Starting point is 00:11:40 Put up the Christmas tree For the win Oh wow Lunchbox But you can still win this thing. Two hands are on the board. Now, what we do have off the list? 2,000 Americans were asked,
Starting point is 00:11:49 what is your favorite thing to do on Thanksgiving? Eat one, drink two, watch football three, play games four, nap five, spend time with family six, walk or run at eight. Go to a movie at nine. You're looking for your number seven and number 10 answer. Yeah, Amy said put the Christmas tree up. But, I mean, if she was too specific, is you've got to put the Christmas lights up outside.
Starting point is 00:12:16 because that's what grandpa made me do, but that would be the same thing as Christmas stuff. Man, bake some cookies. Is that the same thing as cooking? Let's go with Bake them dessert. Bake them desserts. Eddie, your last shot here, you can win this thing. If you get the number 10 answer, you're tied immediately.
Starting point is 00:12:40 Wow, this is crazy. I got it. There are two answers on the board. What's your favorite thing to do on Thanksgiving? 2,000 Americans were asked. You wake up early before everyone else. And you know what's on TV? That Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade.
Starting point is 00:12:54 Oh, watch the parade! Let's go! Show me watching the parade. Yeah! Your number seven answer. Oh, let's go. Eddie, you need this one to win. You have 22 points.
Starting point is 00:13:05 You need this one to win. There's one left. That's a good one. I can't believe people really like that. It's so boring. It's mostly just onning on. I know. I know.
Starting point is 00:13:14 My grandparents loved it. They went one year. Why do you know, you know, you know when you said you could. believe like three seconds earlier. I know my... I can't believe. I know. I think it's older people.
Starting point is 00:13:22 I don't mind watching it. I like watching the lip syncing, the bad lip syncing. Yeah. Eddie. That was a great job, Eddie. You need this to win. If you can nail it, you'll be the champ. In third, you started in the back spot, the worst spot in the race.
Starting point is 00:13:34 Hey. Can you win it? Lunchbox don't say anything. 2,000 Americans were asked. What's your favorite thing to do on Thanksgiving? Number 10 answer is? Leftovers. Eating leftovers.
Starting point is 00:13:48 That's eating. You idiot. That was the dumbest. answer ever. That's eating. Leftovers. Did you have anything else you were debating on? No, I got nothing. All right, leftovers. So what is it? Number 10, volunteer. Give back. That's why we couldn't get that one. We never thought of that.
Starting point is 00:14:08 Amy, the winner. Nice job, Amy. Big winner, big winner, big week. The Bobby Bones show. Happy Thanksgiving, y'all. It's Cody Johnson. My favorite thing about Thanksgiving is elastic pants. Happy Thanksgiving from the Bobby Bones show. It's time for the good news. With lunchbox. Stay home, it's something good. Oh, you want to do something different this Thanksgiving?
Starting point is 00:14:38 You can go cuddle with a turkey and have it called a gentle Thanksgiving. It's in Missouri. It's in Tennessee. And it's in California. You go to these locations. You pay $50. You have pie. Oh, you get to eat.
Starting point is 00:14:52 Okay. Yeah, you have pie. You have other stuff and you get to cuddle with a turkey. Turgies are not clean. No, no, no, it's like a rescue place. And you pay and you get to go hang out with turkeys. Oh, maybe they clean them then. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:15:03 So I feel like they're going to be clean turkeys. Is it like red lobster or you pick it out? You pick it out, you cuddle, and then you whack. Stop it. No. No, you don't. You cuddle and then you eat it? No.
Starting point is 00:15:14 You don't whack it. It's really just a way to do something different this Thanksgiving. It's turkeys that have been saved. You can go cuddle with it and enjoy Thanksgiving or you don't eat the turkey. And here's the lady talking about it. The female turkeys love to cuddle. and form close relationships. Our turkey specifically, we have a turkey that loves to be held
Starting point is 00:15:33 and sit in your lap, so they really enjoy all of the attention. That's good. I like it. No turkey dies because of this bit. That's great. Whack. That's not even serious. That's what it's all about right there.
Starting point is 00:15:45 That was tell me something good. A win is a win. A win is a win. I don't care which I'm saying. Yep, that's me. Clever Taylor the 4th. You might have seen the skits, the reactions, my journey from basketball to college football

Starting point is 00:17:09 And I was like, and Dad, I think I want to really give this a shot. I don't know what that means, but I just know the groundlings. I'm working my way up through and I know it's a place that come look for up and coming talent. He said, if it was based solely on talent, I wouldn't worry about you. Which is really sweet. Yeah. He goes, but there's so much luck involved. and he's like, just give it a shot.
Starting point is 00:17:29 He goes, but if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay to quit. If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration. It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat. Just hang in there. Yeah, it would not be. Right, it wouldn't be that. There's a lot of luck.
Starting point is 00:17:51 Listen to Thanks, Dad, on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcast. This week on the Sports Slice podcast, it's all about the NFL draft, and we've got a special guest. And for more, follow Timbo Slica Life 12 and TikTok podcast network on TikTok. What's your favorite heartbreak song?
Starting point is 00:18:39 Let's start with you, Eddie. Your favorite heartbreak song of all time? Man, there are a lot of good heartbreak songs, but one of my favorites is Need You Now by Lady A. Is that a heartbreak song? Oh, yeah. Or is it like a booty call? Well, it's booty call because they broke. up and part of a heartbreak is you just can't let go.
Starting point is 00:19:03 Got it. So you're like, I need you right now because I can't let you go. Okay, that's a good one. Thank you. I always thought this was like the other person was in a relationship so they couldn't come over right now. Oh, you thought there was a cheating song. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:14 Never got that. No, I thought they've been out and had a few drinks and they're like, I need to get right now. No, no, guys, they're broken up. They're broken up and he just can't stop. They can't stop thinking about each other and they're like, I just need you now. So they're going to get back together. Hopefully.
Starting point is 00:19:29 Okay. Amy. Yeah. All Too Well, Taylor Swift. I can listen to the 10-minute-long. You got to tell me what it's about. I don't really know the song. Oh, it's about a breakup.
Starting point is 00:19:47 I mean, it's devastating. Who? Which guy? Have you seen the short film? They say Jake Gyllenhaal. But then, I don't know. Now there's a thing out there. There was like a message to her fans.
Starting point is 00:19:54 But I think there's Jake saying that. This is the one where Jake, it'll have caused him all kinds. Yes. Scarf. Jake. Yeah, 10-minute long video short film about it. So good. Morgan, what is yours?
Starting point is 00:20:07 I'm obsessed with it. I've had it on repeat. Love Sucks by Averill Levine. It's literally in the title. Is she like 36? This is new Averill? Yeah, it's kind of weird. Come on, Averill.
Starting point is 00:20:29 It's like she got stuck in a time machine. That's funny. Lunchbox, your favorite heartbreak song? Oh, it's easy, guys. Drunk on a plane. That's a good one. That's a good one. It's like they break up, but you know what?
Starting point is 00:20:44 Guess what? I'm still going to have a party without you. I thought he was just drinking on the plane. Only because he's going to do his own thing. Yeah, they had this date set forever and there was two seats, but he's only taking up one. That's a good one. That's a good.
Starting point is 00:21:04 Ramundo, what's your best heartbreak song? Tad older, but it reminds me of high school and early college breakup since you've been gone, Kelly Clarkson. It should be heartbreak. It's such a good song. It's like girl power. It's awesome, man. You know, not as many, like, slow songs as I thought from you guys.
Starting point is 00:21:39 Like, ah, my heartbreak song, I like on a mate. Like, stab me. We knew you would do the slow, sad ones. And since, I have two, since you guys did not say them all, do them both. The first one, whiskey lullaby, Brad Paisley, Allison Krauss. You put that bottle to his head and pulled the trigger. Yeah, it's depressing. You know what it's about?
Starting point is 00:22:00 No. It's about he goes to war. He comes back and she's with another man. Oh, oh, man. That's not cool That's a good song that Think he had to get up off his knees Found him with his face down
Starting point is 00:22:43 Yeah like I'm depressed now Right well that's screw in the mood But see I mean that's to me That's heartbreak That's one I have one in one A here I mean and when you kind of know It hits even harder and different So whiskey lullaby
Starting point is 00:22:56 And then the one that I'm surprised That nobody said The ultimate song of heartbreak The one we know every single word to The one when you hear the first note, you're like, oh, this is my song. Some people think it's a love song. Obviously, it's not.
Starting point is 00:23:10 Hit it, Ray. The ultimate. Yeah. And one that's relatable-ish, right? It's just like, ugh. I mean, even Garth sounds heartbroken when he's singing that. The Bobby Bone Show. Hey, it's Garth Brooks, and you can imagine a Thanksgiving and Tricia Earwood's house is pretty
Starting point is 00:23:44 amazing. What I love is she does this thing called Miss Fit Thanksgiving. And what it is, is in our line of work, a lot of crew guys, a lot of band members move to this town by themselves. So there's a lot of people that don't have family during Thanksgiving here in Nashville. She opens up her door and trust me, it is the greatest meal they will ever have in their entire lifetime. You're lucky to sit at Mr. Wood's Table at Thanksgiving. A happy Thanksgiving from the Bobby Bones Show.
Starting point is 00:24:11 Obviously, we all want you guys to have a very happy Thanksgiving. So I have a bunch of clips of country artists wishing people a happy Thanksgiving just name the country artist. Okay? Club number one is very easy. You don't even have to write it down. Here you go. Wishing you a happy Thanksgiving.
Starting point is 00:24:30 Oh, that's easy. Easy's pie. All right. One, two, three. Lou Ryan. Nice. Are they all going to be that easy? No.
Starting point is 00:24:39 They'll get a little harder as we go. Next up, name this one. Wishing you a happy Thanksgiving. Oh, Amy's struggling already. Really? Amy. Come on, Amy. You all are not?
Starting point is 00:24:49 No, it's easiest pie. Wishing you a happy Thanksgiving. Okay. Amy, who do you have? Carrie Underwood? Lunchbox? Mm-hmm. Carry Underwood.
Starting point is 00:24:58 What? Eddie? That's Carrie. Yeah, there you go. Oh. To get a little honey come. Next up, which country artist is wishing us happy Thanksgiving? Wishing you a happy Thanksgiving.
Starting point is 00:25:10 Wishing you a happy Thanksgiving. Very aggressive. Yeah, he comes hard, doesn't he? Yeah, a little bit. Amy? Darius Rucker. Lunchbox? Darius Rucker.
Starting point is 00:25:17 Eddie? Darius Rucker. Nice. Next up. Who is it? Wishing you a happy Thanksgiving. Wishing you a happy Thanksgiving. Amy? King Brown.
Starting point is 00:25:33 Linesbark? I didn't write that down yet. We played it three times. Come. At the end of the third clip, you already asked him for answers. Eddie? Kane Brown. Have it written down, too.
Starting point is 00:25:44 Do we want to give that one to him or no? No, he didn't even guess. Why didn't he have a champion? I literally was like this. All right, we'll let him keep going. So he doesn't get the point, but he keeps going. No, he keeps going. Okay. If you miss it, you're eliminated.
Starting point is 00:26:00 All right, next up. Wishing you a happy Thanksgiving. Oh, I'm going to hear that again. Wishing you a happy Thanksgiving. Yeah. I have no idea. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Wishing you a happy Thanksgiving.
Starting point is 00:26:12 Who's that, Amy? I don't know, Jason Aldeen. Nope. Lunchbox. That's the chief air church. Eddie? That's the chief. I never know him.
Starting point is 00:26:20 You know what? You get one free pass. You stay in the game. Oh, thank you. We rarely hear him talk. So, Bones, does that mean I can get one wrong and I'm still in it? Nah. Not you.
Starting point is 00:26:30 Not you. Okay. Yeah. We're done with that game. Good, good. All the freebies are gone. Next up. Wishing you a happy Thanksgiving.
Starting point is 00:26:37 Can you name that country artists? Wishing you a happy Thanksgiving. Oh, my goodness. Oh, man. I don't know this one. I'm going to need that freebie. Wishing you a happy Thanksgiving. You guys don't know who that is?
Starting point is 00:26:49 No. That's a tough one. Wishing you a happy Thanksgiving. Oh, oh, I'm changing. I got it. Like when she says wishing you, I feel like I know it is. that when she says Thanksgiving, it doesn't sound like her. Really? Oh yeah. It's her,
Starting point is 00:27:00 Amy. Amy, who you have? No, no, no, no. Do you saw my answer? I didn't see your answer. You changed. It's a good thing you guys are so competitive, but this is for a scholarship. I play it for more time. Is it? Wishing you a happy Thanksgiving. Say it one more time. Wishing you a happy Thanksgiving. Lunchbox did you have? Well,
Starting point is 00:27:16 I had Casey Musgraves, crossed her out, and I went with Marin Morris. Yeah, he saw my answer. I did not see your answer. Eddie? I have Marin Morris. You think you saw your answer? Yes, absolutely. Amy? Dang it. Miranda Lambert. Oh, no, that's not yet. That was my first guess. Okay. It's Mirren Morris. Let's do another one. Name this one.
Starting point is 00:27:35 Happy Thanksgiving. Happy Thanksgiving. Amy, you're out. You can put your pen. Amy's down. You're still writing. Happy Thanksgiving. And I know it. Amy. You have to write something. Lunch.
Starting point is 00:27:48 Eddie. Happy Thanksgiving. Don't be mad because I'm getting things right, Eddie. Lunchbox. It's Dirk's Bentley. Eddie? Dirk's. I'm getting it.
Starting point is 00:27:55 Getting drunk on a plane. All right, next one. Wishing you a happy Thanksgiving. Woo! I love that one. Wishing you a happy Thanksgiving. All right. You got it?
Starting point is 00:28:06 Yeah, Eddie. You want to see my answer? Nope. Lunch what you have? George Strait. Eddie? George Strait. Wow.
Starting point is 00:28:15 It's just unreal. Like, I don't know where it's coming from. I mean, I'm convinced he cheated. Off the Kane Brown? Yes. Yeah. No, no. Merrimores.
Starting point is 00:28:22 Look at my answer. Eddie. I will swear on everything I own. I did not see your answer. When Amy said, oh, it sounds like her, but when she says it's different, it changed my mind. Okay.
Starting point is 00:28:30 Hey, so, sudden death now, guys? Okay. I've had enough of you, too. So I'm going to play it. Buzz in with your name. Okay. Ready, here we go. Wishing you a happy Thanksgiving.
Starting point is 00:28:42 Eddie. Eddie. That is Luke Combs. Correct. You lunch, lunch, loves a happy Thanksgiving. I had it. Yeah. And you have a thightout now.
Starting point is 00:29:00 What do you think about that, Eddie? Oh, Bones. That's great. That's what I needed for Thanksgiving. I'm wishing you a happy Thanksgiving. Because the one thing I hate is people cheat, you know, and then they rub it in your face. And, you know what? There was no cheating whatsoever.
Starting point is 00:29:11 I don't cheat to win. Okay. I don't need to cheat to win. Fun game bones. Thank you. Happy Thanksgiving from the Bobby Bones show. Here's Amy's pile of stories. I saw an article about gift cards and it says they rarely get used in the first six months.
Starting point is 00:29:29 And after that, they might even go missing and people don't even end up using them. I would think most gift cards when a business sell, them, they're like, yes, we just made some free money. Yeah, companies say every year millions and millions of dollars worth of gift cards go completely unused. I am bad about that sometimes and not using stuff. Gift cards that I've gotten, for example, for my birthday this year. What about the Uber Eats one you got? What a random example you're using there.
Starting point is 00:29:56 I haven't, I haven't, I don't be honest with you. I don't even know where it is right now. I told you when I gave it to you, give me your phone, and I'll put the code in right away. What's falling for that? That's how people get their VINMOST. I'm your friend. Are you? I'll look today though.
Starting point is 00:30:09 I'll look to see if I can find it today. This article also shared a tip that if you've got a gift card that you know you're not going to use, consider selling it in an online market for gift cards. No, you will not. No, no, I'll do that. You can get full value of the card and you get straight cash. I'll stop for 20 bucks. Okay, guys.
Starting point is 00:30:24 That's how much does that fit to you? Speaking of money, a study shows that Bitcoin fans are psychopaths who don't care about anyone. So around the room, are you into Bitcoin? It sounds like a lot. I'm not into it. I have a little bit of it, but I'm not into it. I don't watch it or anything. I just kind of, I have a little app about five bucks here, five bucks there.
Starting point is 00:30:46 But yeah, no. No, Ray would be the most into it. No, I just use it for sports gambling, but I don't have any Bitcoin now. So we're no psychopaths here? No, we're good. All clear. We all have passed the name test for people that are rude online, though. Like, they came out with the list of people that leave bad reviews.
Starting point is 00:31:05 Based on their name? Yeah, apparently. Or like their screen name. Yeah, apparently David for men, they leave the most horrible reviews. And then Sarah for women. Wow. Yeah, those are, you know what? That's just like generic dude who's upset at his generic life.
Starting point is 00:31:19 David? Yeah. So David and Sarah, okay. And then Dolly Parton says that she starts her morning routine at 3 a.m. And that's when she does some of her best work. It doesn't matter if she got a full night sleep or she went to bed super late. Her body knows 3 a.m. Time to get it up.
Starting point is 00:31:36 And that's when she gets moving. I wish I had whatever that gene is. Because I don't think that waking up at 3 a.m. voluntarily is just a choice. Oh, she said it's a family trait. Yeah, I think it is a choice, but it's also something you probably physically feel pretty good about too. If I did that, you'd hate me. Well, what time of day do you do your best work? I don't.
Starting point is 00:31:57 Not a lot of good work. I'm a familiar. I mean, I work all the time, but ain't a lot of quality, you know. My favorite time is probably like at 7 p.m. That's when I feel the freest. So the opposite of right now. In every way. They should have never put us on in the morning.
Starting point is 00:32:12 Is that it, Amy? Yep, I'm Amy. That's my pile. That was Amy's pile of stories. It's time for the good news. Oh, it's Bobby. Tell me something good. This kid Will, who lives in Illinois, loves running, and is part of this project, he collected athletic shoes, athletic gear, money to be donated,
Starting point is 00:32:33 and delivered it all to a youth shelter in Chicago for his 13th birthday. That's pretty cool. The Youth Center helps people who were dealing with housing instability or homelessness and so he chose that because he wanted to give him a sense of hope. He said a shoe can basically take you anywhere, seven grand and all the stuff.
Starting point is 00:32:48 13 years old. 13, that's kind of a jerk age, right? Oh, they're all jerks of 13. That's like the hormones are really, yeah. Yes. So the fact that Will did this at 13, that's extra, extra good. Will's a cool dude. Nice job, Will.
Starting point is 00:32:59 That is what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good. A win is a win. A win is a win. I don't care what I'm saying. Yep, that's me, Clifford Taylor the 4th. I'm working my way up through, and I know it's a place they come. look for up and coming talent.
Starting point is 00:34:34 He said, if it was based solely on talent, I wouldn't worry about you, which is really sweet. Yeah. He goes, but there's so much luck involved. And he's like, just give it a shot. He goes, but if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay to quit. If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration. It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat. Just hang in there.

Starting point is 00:36:00 It's bigger. Oh, so they don't even bother making Yeah, it's like, what are you going to do? Play it for two days. Thanksgiving is not celebrated for two weeks, like Christmas is. So, and what stinks is, Thanksgiving is great. Yeah, it doesn't stink. But, you know, it's kind of the junior varsity of the two because they're so close.
Starting point is 00:36:19 You know how you go watch the junior high game sometimes before the high school games? Yeah, it's on Thursday. And sometimes you have to decide for just one holiday you wait and you only do Christmas. And not Thanksgiving. But if you get to do both, you do both. So it's really cool because it's a junior varsity holiday, but it's still a holiday. holiday. As you can tell I don't have a lot of holiday love when I was a kid. I'm trying to shake
Starting point is 00:36:36 it now. I'm like, I love them both, but Christmas definitely. You're right. Christmas, for sure. Absolutely. That's varsity. Happy Thanksgiving, everybody. The Morning Corny. What are turkeys thankful for on Thanksgiving? What are turkeys thankful for on Thanksgiving? Vegetarians.
Starting point is 00:36:57 Okay. That was the Morning Corny. The Bobby Bones show. Everybody wrote. Yeah. Voted the number one new Christmas song of the past 10 years. What do you think it is?
Starting point is 00:37:12 10 years. Mariah Carey, all I went for Christmas. That's not 10 years. Yeah. The number one new Christmas song. Of new. Yeah. Oh.
Starting point is 00:37:23 I know that song. Something by. Oh, it's Dan and Shea. Justin Bieber? Nope. Here it is. Bobby Bones is the raging idiots. What a dummy.
Starting point is 00:37:33 Okay, elf on the shelf. Yeah, elf on the shelf. That's right. Here is Elf on, as voted by me. I was like, who voted on that? I didn't say the voting body. Here's Bobby Bones and the raging idiots. Elf on the shelf.
Starting point is 00:37:46 Every morning in December, me and my family, we get an unexpected visit from a little man in red and green. And when it comes to making messes, He don't need no help I wish the elf on the shelf Would elf himself You might find him on the kitchen floor
Starting point is 00:38:16 Covered in flour Hiding in the dog food bowl Playing a game of sorry Making out a Barbie Rolling out of toilet paper rolls The children love him But speaking for my son I wish the elf on the shelf would help himself.
Starting point is 00:38:44 You might find him in a bubble fat scrubbing with the lufa, swinging on a ceiling fan, building snowmen in the freezer, listening to Weezer, maybe someday in the garbage can. And he'll go back to the North Pole, Before my mental health I wish the elf on the shelf Would elf himself
Starting point is 00:39:14 Fish the elf on the shelf We'll go elf himself Merry Christmas everybody Amy has a lot of stories about These friends we've never met Yeah, they have a bunch of cool stories And she's like, well, this happened to my friend So, okay
Starting point is 00:39:38 Some of them you've met Oh, sure we have Okay What happened to your friend? this time. I was with her and her phone rings a couple of times, but we're talking so she doesn't answer and she's like, gosh, this number has called me multiple times. I better pick up. So she picks up and it's her son calling from the school office being like, hey, I got my phone taken up. Is her son 11 from Haiti? No. That would be my son. He doesn't even have a phone. Anyway,
Starting point is 00:40:05 he said, if I want it back, you have to come up here and get it. And she has a busy day and she had no plans of being near the school, but he had stuff going on where he was going to be with some friends the rest of the day, and she would need him to have his phone so she could be in contact with him. So then she had to completely go out of her way and go to the school to pick up his phone from the office, because even when school got out, because my question was, well, what about when the school day ends? Can't he just go by the office and get his phone? And then he'll have it for the rest of the day. And she's like, yeah, you would think. She's like, it's almost like I'm the one being punished because he, you know, had it out during math class or whatever.
Starting point is 00:40:43 So he had the phone out when he wasn't supposed to have it out, right? He was doing things he wasn't supposed to be doing. Yeah, I mean, obviously his version of the story was, yeah, he didn't feel like he should have had it taken up. But yes, at the end of the day, this isn't really about him getting it taken up. It's the school's policy for when and it gets taken up that it won't get released from the office unless a parent comes and gets it. Whenever your mom went to the school because you were tardy so many times.
Starting point is 00:41:06 Yes. Well, they didn't ask her to do that, but. Remember she did, but she showed up. Yeah, I was notified. And she walked you to class because she got so many calls. Amy's tardy to every class. Don't roll your eyes at me. I'm just telling your story.
Starting point is 00:41:18 Yeah. You're feeling that emotion you have when you were in like 10th grade right now. Yeah, I was in 11th grade and it was very embarrassing. Right. So, yeah. Follow me. Follow me here. Follow me here.
Starting point is 00:41:27 Your mom comes to you. Says, hey, I'm going to walk you to class. She didn't even tell me. She just surprised me on the second floor, which is the floor we all hung out on, which is where everybody stopped to talk in between classes. And my class was on the third floor. So I was often hung up at the second floor talking. That's why I was late.
Starting point is 00:41:44 Did you, did your tardiness wasn't minimized after that? Oh, I wasn't ever late again. Exactly. Okay. So if the mom has to come to school, that's a bit traumatic. So if you just give the kid the phone back, the mom's like, oh, cool, you got your phone back. No big deal. If that mom has to go up and she has to take some time out of her day and that kid knows
Starting point is 00:42:06 the mom is, that's a whole different. dynamic. You're scared. You don't want it to happen again. You've learned a lesson like you've never learned before. And I would imagine this kid does not get that phone taken up again for a few months. It may happen again, but not for a while. See, I told you you might be able to persuade me that this is a good plan, but just as the parent, I would be so annoyed. Don't you think your mom was annoyed? But they didn't ask her to do that. No, no, but she felt like she had to. She had with that plan all on her own. She took the time. Do you think she was annoyed that she had to walk you to class that you would get to class that would stop calling her to tell on you? Yeah. Exactly.
Starting point is 00:42:38 That's part of it too You know being annoyed and mad about going to the school You can use that and be like I had to drop what I was doing To go to your school to do something you've messed up about That felt too natural for you I felt like I was talking to my kids right there I'm up for it
Starting point is 00:42:54 I think it wasn't about making the mom Lose part of her day or punishing the mom It was about this actually meaning This punishment meaning something And now it does And the kid You gotta be like sorry mom you had to go to school It's a good rule
Starting point is 00:43:07 I actually like it, yeah. I do, I like it. Because if the school is giving it back, nobody learns anything. The kid does it again, the mom never. But I mean, they could tell the parent, like, hey, heads up, your kid got it. If it happens again, this is going to happen. I'm good with it. But, Amy, don't worry about it.
Starting point is 00:43:22 It's your friend. It's not nice. Yeah, yeah. Why are you so worried about it? Yeah, yeah. Why are you fighting it so hard? Well, I just thought this was being interesting. That's another great story of Amy's friend.
Starting point is 00:43:30 Interesting. Yes. Okay, Bobby, I can't wait for the day where you're working when you have kids and you get a phone call that that you have to drive away to your kids school. I'll do it, but I won't come on and be like, my friend Billy, you'll say it happened to you. No, it wasn't me. My son doesn't have a phone. Why are you winking?
Starting point is 00:43:46 The Bobby Bones show. Happy Thanksgiving. It's Dustin Lynch. My favorite thing about Thanksgiving is getting home, of course, with my family. But I like to sample the dessert. I will call it an aisle. There's always multiple desserts at my family dinner. And I get a slice of every single one, and then I regret it.
Starting point is 00:44:03 But it's all good. That's what Thanksgiving's about, I guess, for me. Happy Thanksgiving from the Bobby Bones Show. Hope everybody has a good, happy Thanksgiving. You do what you do. You spend time with your family or your friends. Sometimes holidays can be hard. Like, I get it.
Starting point is 00:44:16 I hope you get out of it. You get to the other side. You will be okay. Either way, I promise you. That being said, I always get mad at myself because I don't plan to get so full that it makes me feel physically uncomfortable. Where I don't like, it's just like this.
Starting point is 00:44:30 Why did I do that? You ever do that? You ever do that? You ever do that? You ever do it? Why did I do it? Why? And it's good.
Starting point is 00:44:37 And while you're like, okay, I can do a little more. I can do a little more. But I think I feel more uncomfortable. Like I feel worse after ate so much than any joy I got while eating. Yet I don't stop. Is the thought process like, oh, I'm not going to have this again. So I better eat it all now. No.
Starting point is 00:44:59 The thought process is there. So let's eat. Yeah, there's no thought process. If it stays there near me, I'm going to eat it. Right. Here are some food myths. Okay. The turkey makes you tired.
Starting point is 00:45:08 So here's the deal. That triptophan, not really a thing. What? Because you need, according to this sign, you need about four pounds of turkey for it to actually affect you. What's actually happening could happen at any time with any meal that you're eating so much that you just get sleepy because of your blood sugar. Oh.
Starting point is 00:45:26 So if you were to go out for lunch today and have six subway sandwiches, you know what? You're going to feel sleepy. And I know triptophan. So triptophan does actually do that. but they said it's four pounds. You can eat four pounds of turkey. So that's that.
Starting point is 00:45:40 Number two. Can pumpkin is less nutritious than fresh. But who's getting fresh pumpkin? Yeah. Who's the Martha Stewart world is. Yeah, don't pressure yourself to have to get fresh pumpkin. You ever have fresh pumpkin pie? Because I haven't.
Starting point is 00:45:58 No. Not that I know. Is that even a thing? I mean, the one you buy at the store that's not fresh? No, it's probably made with puread pumpkin from a can. Well then no. Sign me up. I love it.
Starting point is 00:46:08 That's what I like. So they want us to go get a pumpkin and dig it out and puree it and boil. Cranberries need a ton of added sugar to taste good because they are just so tart. I love cranberry sauce. I'll eat it from a can. I'll eat it from, I guess I don't have fresh cranberries either. Not sauce. I've had cranberries.
Starting point is 00:46:26 I have a cranberry juice. Oh, yeah, that's good. Yeah, what do you call those? Urine. UTI? Yeah. Urinary tract. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:46:34 Oh, and it felt like I had to pee all the. time. So I had to drink a bunch of cranberry juice, but that ain't this. You really had one of those? Guys can get that? Yes. Whoa, sorry. Oh, sorry. I mean, I don't know why you just thought it was exclusive to women. I don't even know why I got it. I've never heard of a
Starting point is 00:46:50 dude say I had a urinary tract infection. That's embarrassing. Oh my gosh. Like, my dad if you don't get it treated, like you can start to hallucinate. What? I don't know I'm not hallucinating right now. This isn't a simulation. No, because one time my dad was like having some weird episode and we went to the hospital and they were like, oh, it's probably a UTI.
Starting point is 00:47:06 Sure enough, it was, but it was just untreated. And then post-mill is the best time taking nap. So hit it up. Lying down can lead to digestive issues, like heartburn and acid reflux. Oh, it's the worst time. The worst time. I think the thing to do after you does take a little walk. No, I like take a little nap.
Starting point is 00:47:24 I was just trying to convince myself. It's the best thing to take a nap. Yeah, they say it's the worst thing because it can lead to digestive issues. Well, good luck, everybody. I hope you guys all crush Thanksgiving and you have a great time or not, but come back safely on Monday because we'll be back then as well. Happy Thanksgiving, everybody. Amy, would you explain what our segment Spill the Tea is about?
Starting point is 00:47:42 Oh, it's when someone on the show is sort of tattletelling on another member. And they often think they're being a whistleblower. Yeah. They're spilling for good, but it's a tattletail. It is, yeah. So, fill the tea. Anybody feel like they have some tea is going to get spilled on them? I always have tea.
Starting point is 00:48:01 Does it, anybody nervous? Yeah, that's always usually me or lunchbox. Well, I tell you, the person that's being spilled. spilled on. I don't think he's ever had T spilled on them before. Uh-oh. Oh. Yeah. Uh.
Starting point is 00:48:11 So the spiller is someone who often spills. Those lunchbox? Of course. Yes. Shocking. Is he spilling it on Abby? He is not. He is spilling it on Scuba Steve.
Starting point is 00:48:23 Ooh. Interesting. So lunchbox, what did you find out about Scooba Steve? Scooba Steve has the most unreal expectations for his wife. He makes his... Oh, my God. Oh, yeah. Stop.
Starting point is 00:48:36 What are you doing? Stop. Listen. I'm all for her doing the laundry. I get it. I understand that, Scuba. But Scuba has requirements that she has to hang dry all of his clothes. His clothes do not enter the dryer.
Starting point is 00:48:53 Everything she puts in the washing machine has to be put on a hanger and hang dry it. That means laundry that could go in the dryer, 10 seconds, turns into a 10-minute ordeal. How did you get a hanger? How did you find out about this? I was like, man, that shirt is from the 90s. How do you keep it so clean? He goes, oh, I make my wife hang dry all my clothes. And she has to wash all these clothes inside out.
Starting point is 00:49:17 And I'm like, dude, that is the craziest thing I've ever heard. Like, I get the laundry, but putting stipulations that. You get the laundry? I understand that. I understand making her do the laundry. That is the tea that I have to spill on scuba Steve. Okay, Scoobo Steve. you've been spilled upon.
Starting point is 00:49:36 What would you like to say? I want to say that this is for a good reason because my clothes are valuable and they're vintage and they need to be treated a certain way. And because she does this, I have clothes that have lasted 10 plus years and she's okay with it. Her mom, even back in the day
Starting point is 00:49:50 when I lived with her mother, would iron everything for me, my underwear, my socks, my clothing, my shirts. Your socks? Your mother-in-law would iron your underwear? It blew my mind too. I remember one day I was open. I first moved to her house.
Starting point is 00:50:03 This was like early 2012 in San Francisco. go and I remember opening up my laundry drawer or my dresser drawer and my underwear was all flat and neat and I asked her I was like what do you do? She goes oh I starch it and I iron your underwear so it's nice and neat and ready to go for you
Starting point is 00:50:18 I thought it was weird but ever since I've had ironed underwear I can't turn back your wife does she push back at all like this this is a lot no not at all because she understands how important my things are to me then why don't you do it because I don't want it
Starting point is 00:50:34 I don't have the time with a patience for that kind of stuff. And she likes it. It's therapeutic for her, so she claims. So I'm not going to. It's a bad look. Plus, I get so upset. If I see a shirt that's been putting in the dryer and it comes out all shrunk. Stop.
Starting point is 00:50:50 Stop. I get pulled of rage when I see a shirt that wasn't ironed properly. Send it back. Scuba, Steve, do you feel a bit of guilt that she does all this? Initially I did, but it's been 10 years of her doing this or her mom doing it. So at some point she would have stopped if she didn't want to do it or expressed her interest of her hating this. But she does it and does it with a smile. Are you embarrassed that this tea was spilled?
Starting point is 00:51:18 It wasn't something that I planned on talking about ever. But since it's been talked about, it's out there. Nothing I can do about it now. Wow. It isn't normally. It totally is not normal. I didn't grow up that way. But now that I love it.
Starting point is 00:51:31 I think that. I would love it. too. Listen, I think that... A lot of things I would love that I would feel guilty about having done. Let's think of the dynamic of their family and understanding whether she was the one working full-time. Does your wife work? Eddie, whoever this is.
Starting point is 00:51:46 Steve, hello. Whoever this is. Scuba, does your wife work? She works full-time, yes. Oh, my gosh. Wait. I know. I know.
Starting point is 00:51:55 I'm sorry. I thought she didn't work at all. But she does it with a smile. Hey, my mom worked full-time with four kids and did a lot of things, too. but you need to get in the laundry room and start. There's no way because then everything will be wrong and then I'd be upset that she didn't do it in the first place. You don't want him to do it.
Starting point is 00:52:10 Wait, why not get upset it yourself? You're a competent person. Learn how to do it. I do other things. I do the outside stuff. Do you go? We have a compromise. She does indoor or I do outdoor?
Starting point is 00:52:18 What do you do? What do you do? I mow the lawn. I weedied edge. I pull the weeds. Does she micromanage that? Like if you don't weed it correctly, she gets angry.
Starting point is 00:52:27 She does she make comments about things. So I make sure to make sure it's proper. It's their own dynamic. make if it works for them great, I just thought it was odd. Okay. And lunchbox was so eager to tell on him. I mean, how tasty was that tea? That's tasty. That's a good tea.
Starting point is 00:52:40 That's a good tea. That's a good tea. I would just suggest to Steve that you make sure you, she knows how much you appreciate it. And then maybe change how you word it to people. I get angry if it ain't done, right? Yeah. Thank you, Steve. You're very welcome.
Starting point is 00:52:56 Steve, our executive producer, that was Spill the Tea. That was, let's spill the tea. Bobby bones A win is a win A win. A win is a win. I don't care what you're saying. Yep, that's me. Clifford Taylor the 4th.

Starting point is 00:54:18 Woo, woo, woo, woo. My dad gave me the best advice ever. I went and had lunch with them one day. And I was like, and dad, I think I want to really give this a shot. I don't know what that means, but I just know the groundlings. I'm working my way up through, and I know it's a place that come look for up and coming talent. He said, if it was based solely on talent, I wouldn't worry about you, which is really sweet. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:54:40 He goes, but there's so much luck involved. And he's like, just give it a shot. He goes, but if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay to quit. If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration. It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat just hang in there. Yeah, it would not be. Right, it wouldn't be that.
Starting point is 00:55:06 There's a lot of luck. Listen to Thanks, Dad, on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. This week on the Sports Slice podcast, it's all about the NFL draft. And we've got a special guest. Starting point is 00:55:50 and TikTok podcast network on TikTok. That was it or new to the show. I have two dogs. I have a dog named Stanley that's a bulldog. I think he's getting close to four years old. He's had many surgeries. He's awesome. And yeah, he's actually pretty healthy now, which is great.
Starting point is 00:56:04 But it has just been, I would not recommend anybody to go and get a bulldog. Because they're not supposed to make bulldogs. I really don't. They're just so genetically messed up and imbred. And I love the dog so much, but I don't think they should make bulldogs because they're just sick their whole life. Everybody I know that as a bulldog has had multiple surgeries. So, but I took Stanley because he was sick when I got him. Okay, there's that.
Starting point is 00:56:27 So then I have Eller. And Ella is a dog that we adopted, but we found her, and then we adopted her, I guess. We just kept her and named her. And, you know, she in every way is like a mutt, but is the healthiest dog. She is like iron. And so every morning when I leave, she watches TV, which is not the TV, but her TV is a big window. And she looked out the window and watches this bush. And this bush has squirrels and rabbits.
Starting point is 00:56:52 And she just sits there and watches TV. She basically takes down a whole episode. episode of Netflix, just like we do, except it's watching this bush with these squirrels and these rabbits and then she will sit there for two hours or so and just binge a bush is what we say. And so Eller is that dog who, when we got her, heck, she was so aggressive as a puppy because she was on the street. And now she is the most loving dog in the history of the world. It's crazy what some consistency will do to her.
Starting point is 00:57:18 With her, too, we've had an issue where she gets real finicky with food. I mean, Stanley will eat anything at all times. but elder would like eat a little here, then just not eat for a while, eat a little there, then just not eat for a while. But I'm going to tell you guys, we got her on the farmer's dog. And we have for a while now, this is not new.
Starting point is 00:57:38 And I've asked them to give me like a code or whatever so I can, if you guys want to get on the farmer's dog as well, you can. But it's like A plus stuff because she just didn't want to do the kibble stuff anymore. Now Stanley Elite, whatever, I could put down some rice and beans and rocks and he would eat it. But Ella was like, I don't know, man.
Starting point is 00:57:55 So if you guys are having this issue with your dog, let me recommend the farmer's dog because it's been awesome for us. And it's like real food, like meat, vegetables. Her name is on it. It says exactly what it is and it comes in the mail. Anyway, they're not, this is not something that I've set up except for right now. You can get 50% off that first box. If you go to the farmersdog.com slash bobby. I don't know how long this is going to work or last, but the farmers dog.com slash bobby. Get 50% off your first box. if you do that there. You don't have to, but if you're like me and you're looking to keep your dog as happy as possible, it's been an absolute game changer with her. She's been a lot, like, healthier or two, and mostly because she'll eat. But thefarmer's dog.com slash Bobby. And what we learned here? Bulldogs are expensive. They're cute, but they're expensive. And they just, oh, man, they should just start breeding bulldogs now with, with like, muts. So you still have kind of a bulldog, but then you have stronger genetics because they're not so imbred. and then the Farmersdog.com slash Bobby.
Starting point is 00:58:57 And I guess for the next few days, you can get 50% off your first box because I was like, hey, let me get this code. All right, so you guys, check that out. Thank you guys. The Bobby Bones Show. Happy Thanksgiving, y'all. It's Luke Bryan.
Starting point is 00:59:09 And my favorite Thanksgiving memories are when I go to Georgia every year and do a little quail hunting with my voice. Happy Thanksgiving from the Bobby Bones show. Bobby Bones show. Bonehead. Norrie up the day. This story comes us from Bibb County.
Starting point is 00:59:24 Georgia. A 34-year-old woman's at her house and her boyfriend's in jail and he's like, hey, I need you to get me some of the goods. I need you to mail me some of them. She's like, no problem. So she goes, get some goods, puts it in the package and just mails those illegal goods to the jail. The only problem is they go through all the packages and they had her address and went arrested her. Wow. I mean, they go through the packages. Yeah, and also it's like footprints in the snow from a crime. They just follow them and leads them to the... It's like dropping nuts the whole way. Sunflower seeds after you commit a crime, you just drop them as you go. It's kind of like that. Okay.
Starting point is 01:00:00 I'm Lunchbox. That's your Bonehead Story of the Day. Everybody has a great Thanksgiving. What state will you be in? Lunchbox. North Carolina. Interesting. I don't know where.

Starting point is 01:00:27 What? Yeah, what do you want me to say? Charleston specifically. Yeah. Okay. Oh, he's going to that Southern Charm. Oh, he's going to go stalk to Southern Charm House. Oh, that's right.
Starting point is 01:00:37 Hope everybody has an awesome Thanksgiving. Thank you for listening to the show. We're very thankful for you, obviously. Dumb debate before we leave the show, you want turkey or you want ham if you only get one. Oh, my gosh. Lunchbox. Ham? What? Ham brings the hammer. Amy?
Starting point is 01:00:50 Turkey. Eddie? Turkey. Turkey. Turkey. Turkey. Morgan? Neither. Oh yeah, you don't eat meat.
Starting point is 01:00:55 Dang, dang, dang. What is your center piece in? Oh, it's all the sides. You don't have one in the middle? Oh, probably the sweet potato casserole. Oh, what about a tofur ki? Like a tofu turkey? Oh, gosh, no.
Starting point is 01:01:06 Ray? Ham I am. Why do the hand people have to add extra? I don't know. Ham is the hammer? Ham is the hammer. Ham is the hammer. Ham brings the hammer.
Starting point is 01:01:15 Because they know it's not good. Turkey wins. Thank you guys. We'll see you. Bye, everybody. Happy Thanksgiving from the Bobby Bones show. A win is a win. A win is a win.
