All right, here's the first one. I didn't realize until today that the The show works so well because Lunchbox is Bobby's bad side.
Starting point is 00:03:15 Eddie is his good side and Amy is his feminine side. So it all works. Weird. You know what? She has a point. She really does. Although I'm pretty feminine anyway. Yeah, I was like, I don't think you really have a bad side.
Starting point is 00:03:30 But that does make, like, lunchbox is the devil on my shoulder. Yeah, on one side of your shoulder. Eddie's the angel on my other shoulder. Yeah. And Amy is my hoo-hoo. Down there. Okay. I don't like that.
Starting point is 00:03:44 Here is a voicemail from Cindy in Maryland. I have a morning, corny after dark for Halloween. Why don't witches have babies? Their husbands have Halloweenies. Get it, Halloween. Happy Halloween. That's funny. It didn't have to be after dark.
Starting point is 00:04:02 That was pretty safe. Still peeping. Welcome, welcome, welcome, welcome. A first, he's a day to four. Producer ready. Everybody. Guys, my favorite Christmas movie is coming out with a sequel. So, you know, a Christmas story?
Starting point is 00:04:17 That's the one with the little kid with the glasses, and he's like, his name's Ralphie. He wants a BB gun for Christmas. Oh, the Red Rider BB gun. I've never seen it, but I see it like a loop on 24 hours. That's crazy. I don't know how you, I mean, it's on a loop for 24 hours around Christmas, and the fact that you've never sat down to watch it is a...
Starting point is 00:04:33 Can I tell you something? I didn't watch Christmas movies. Christmas was not fun for me as a kid. And then when I got to be an adult, I want to watch a little one. I don't watch the new stuff. Well, this just took a turn. I'm just saying, you're judging me. I didn't watch Happy Christmas movies because Christmas wasn't happy for me for the most part.
Starting point is 00:04:47 But I do know because they would show it on TBS for 24 hours. Yes, they do every year. The leg lamp? I mean, come on. Your tongue getting stuck to the pole. That's the tongue. I've seen that scene flipping through. Okay.
Starting point is 00:04:57 Yeah. This is really sad. But okay. So anyway, there's a sequel coming out on November 17th on HBO Max. Ralphie is now old. It's all the original cast. Is it him? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:07 It's all the original cast except I think the mom and the original dad. He's no longer with us, so he's not in it. Yeah. But in the show, Ralphie's older. He has two kids. He brings them back to the old house so they can experience Christmas the way he did back then. You're excited about it? Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:05:22 This is so cool. The trailer's out. And it just shows the house. Just shows the house with all the lines of like, you'll shoot your eye out. Oh, my gosh. I cannot wait for this. November 17.
Starting point is 00:05:33 His name is Peter Billingsley. He's 51 years old. Yeah. Looks pretty good. His whole life, though, he's been Ralphie. He's only 51? Wow. Well, the movie only, I think, came out in the 80s, but it's...
Starting point is 00:05:44 83. It looks like it's from the 50s. Oh. That's what it is. I thought it was way older. Got it. That makes sense. Amy's Christmas movie.
Starting point is 00:05:52 Well, I mean, she says a part in the Christmas movie. Right, right, right. I don't hear that passionate from you when talking about that. What's it called, Eddie? Amy's movie? A very merry... No, it's also on HBO Max, and it's part of a bundle. This is their first time putting out Christmas movies.
Starting point is 00:06:06 And, yeah, Christmas story is one of them, and so is Holiday Harmony. Holiday Harmony. Which is the one that I'm going to be in, which comes out on Thanksgiving Day, November 24th. And I'm very excited about it. And I do have a big scene in the bathroom. And you're sure it hasn't been cut? Yeah, 100%. I'm telling you.
Starting point is 00:06:24 It's pivotal. Are you using the bathroom? Oh, man. What if that was it? And Amy's on the toilet. They had all the sound effects. Huh? I am not using the bathroom.
Starting point is 00:06:34 That would be crazy. That's her scene. And she's embarrassed to tell us. I know, but my kids think it's hilarious that my scene. is in the bathroom, but they don't even know yet what I'm doing. All right. Up next, the Captain of Cringe. Not only, sometimes he just do cringy stuff, but he'll go and sit in a situation that makes you feel totally cringy.
Starting point is 00:06:51 He does not feel awkward at all. Here he is. Lunchbox, everybody. Earlier this week, we had a mailbag where someone emailed in saying they're going to Thanksgiving with their family. They don't have a girlfriend. Mom always bugs him. So he's thinking about hiring a chick to be his girlfriend. And he was wanting to know if that makes him a loser. Well, in my eyes, it made him a loser.
Starting point is 00:07:10 And so I wanted to see what people in public, so I went out on the streets and talked to people to see if they think he's a loser. All right, here we go. Does that make him a loser? Yes, loser. Like real bad? Yes. Like, what do you think about that? No, that's not the way to do it.
Starting point is 00:07:25 What would you tell him? I wouldn't pay for nobody. Like on a scale, one to ten, how big of a loser? He might as well go on a blind date. And if you, like, if that was your son, you found out he hired someone and, like... I would kill him. Okay. So you think the better option is to what?
Starting point is 00:07:38 It's blind date. Or be honest, maybe. Be honest. She'd kill him. Yeah, that escalated. Also, why is she talking so quiet? They seem like they're really close to each other. Oh, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:49 We're in the line at the grocery store. You're, wait for you. It's so crudgy. It's so crudgy. You just do this. Here's another one. I think it's a hell of a good on-running joke internally anyway. Yes.
Starting point is 00:07:59 I mean, I don't think it's a bad thing. I don't know morally what everybody else thinks. I could care less. I'm one of those. Right, but you think it's a creative way. Yeah. Absolutely. I love it. Yeah. So you say he should do it?
Starting point is 00:08:14 I think so, yeah. And does it make him a loser? No. Okay. Variety is the spice of life, baby. If everybody does conform and all the same thing, life would be pretty damn boring. I agree with you. I agree with you. I think you should.
Starting point is 00:08:26 I feel like this guy's maybe hired a girlfriend her to himself. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? You know, the whole story too was the mom just is all over him. Why don't you have a girlfriend? It was like just to stop her, the mom from asking that. But you 50-50? 50-50.
Starting point is 00:08:39 50, 50, man. All right, up next. That's right. She'll be all over your Christmas screens from the commode. Here she is. Amy, everybody. Okay. So my daughter started taking power tumbling. And, you know, it's just something she wants to try out.
Starting point is 00:08:53 So she goes once a week. And I had to use the restroom while I was there. And I noticed something on the girl's bathroom door. There's this nice sign that said, for the safety of our students, no cell phones with cameras are allowed in the bathrooms. And I was walking in my iPhone. Oh, and I'm like, oh. So you can't even go in with it?
Starting point is 00:09:11 Well, I mean, I did. You got to sit on toilet? What are you supposed to look at? No, well, no. I mean, I was just going in to, you know, use the bathroom real quick. But I just thought it was sad to me that they had to put that on the bathroom door. I assume it was on the men's bathroom door too. But it's just crazy.
Starting point is 00:09:27 What in your mind has happened for that sign to go on? In my mind, something terrible must have happened at some point where girls were in there using the bathroom or changing. And like there was maybe someone in there with the phone or were. recording or something. I don't know. I just thought it was odd. I've never seen that on a bathroom door before at any of my kids' stuff. And to me, it was just disturbing.
Starting point is 00:09:48 I mean, I'm glad, not that they have it up. It's just sad they had to even put it up. I guess I didn't go that dark that fast. Well, what do you think it's about? The kids are stupid in the bathroom. A bunch of kids together. They're just stupid recording each other. I feel like the note is for adults.
Starting point is 00:10:03 Mom's like, hey, my daughter, they're feeling. I don't know. I guess I didn't go that dark. Okay. It's weird. Our brains. I mean, yeah, maybe I'm messed up. I don't know. Ray Mundo, hit me. From Mount Pine, Arkansas. He has an obsession with shoes, and he's always up to date on the news. Bobby Bones. Thank you very much. Thank you very much. I'm trying to eliminate, and I do this every few months or so, do crutch words that I say all the time, because I do, let's lay on one.
Starting point is 00:10:28 And any time I'm trying to transition, I don't know what to say. And so here's what I'm going to do. I'm not like to tell you the word quite yet. But I say one word a lot, because I hear any time I hear me talk. Every time I say it, I'll put a dollar in the jar. And at the end of a show, somebody can tabulate how many times I said it. And I'll put in the jar. And at the end of the year, we'll just draw on somebody can have the money. Wow. I love this.
Starting point is 00:10:51 I'm all for this. But now that this is a game, you're probably going to say it less. I hope that's the goal. That's the point. Yeah, that's why I'm doing it. He doesn't want to give us a lot of money. I don't want to say more. And I want to stop saying it.
Starting point is 00:11:01 But I say it's so much that it's going to be hard for me to do. What word is that? I know there's one you were saying a lot, but now I don't hear it anymore. But I wonder if it's 69. It's 69. No, it's not. What about fantastic? It's all right.
Starting point is 00:11:20 All right. So anytime I hear the word all right, just make a little note. Ray, you can be the judge, whatever. Mark it down. And we'll do at the end of a show, end of a week, whatever. We'll see how many times I said it. And I put that many dollars into the jar. It's $100 each time?
Starting point is 00:11:34 It is $1 each time. What if it's actually fitting? and called for. Yeah, like if you're doing a Matthew McConaughey impression, all right, all right, all right. Okay, that's acceptable. That would be three. Or if I say, what's the opposite of all wrong?
Starting point is 00:11:47 All right. Right. But very few times is that acceptable, okay? So $1 and we'll draw for it. We could draw at the end of November and at the end of December if you want, although we'll be gone by the time December happens. So it's up to you guys how you want to do it. Okay.
Starting point is 00:12:02 That's what we're doing until the end of the year. Here's what we'll do. Make it easy. The second week of December, we'll draw, and you can, get the money. It's just a little over two months. Okay. How are you feeling about that? Pretty good, buddy. You feel all right? I feel pretty good.
Starting point is 00:12:13 Dang it. I thought he's going to say alright. Me too. I was waiting for it. I knew. I knew what you were baking me into. But all right would be fitting there. It would, but it's still a word he can't use. On with the show, I say. All right. I start talking British now. Yeah. What? Everything possible not to cost me a dollar. It's time for the mailbag. Good morning studio. I've been struggling lately with how to teach and or lead my daughter to make better decisions.
Starting point is 00:12:43 She's been extremely argumentative and throwing tons of tantrums. Almost every week we receive a note from her teacher that she's been struggling with her behavior in class. Most recently, her and a fellow classmate got into a disagreement with each other. They decided together it was best to solve this disagreement by getting a group of friends together and start shoving each other outside of the camera's view at school. The school assigned lunch to attention and I requested that they give her, extra detention is. The kicker is, she ended up loving the detention. My husband and I are baffled at what to do next. We have talked with her extensively as well as
Starting point is 00:13:17 with other family members. We've taken electronics away. We put her in time out. We've canceled fun trips and events. Nothing has helped. We are literally clueless as to what we should do next. Could you provide a few ideas as what we should try? Also ask the others as well. Thank you in advance for any advice slash ideas. Signed a mom in need of tequila. All right. You You have four kids, Eddie, so I go to you first. What should she do? I feel her pain. It's tough.
Starting point is 00:13:41 But there is an app that I got called Class Dojo. And it's a point system. So every time she does something that she's supposed to do, like, hey, I need you to do this. Like, don't get in trouble this week. You get a point. Blah, blah, whatever, whatever, whatever you want to do, you give her or he a reward. Whatever it is. It's worked great for my family.
Starting point is 00:14:03 Just because, I don't know if it's because they're little boys. Do you take away, though, if they do bad? Yes, it's a whole point system and the app takes care of all that stuff. Yes, I think that's good. You can start there. I love a game too. You make a game out of it. All that stuff is really good and I think it'll help.
Starting point is 00:14:18 What's it called? Class dojo. Class dojo. It's so like a place you go do karate? Maybe, but I don't know what it's called dojo. But they're called dojo points. So whenever they do something good, I'm like, oh, dojo point. Got it.
Starting point is 00:14:29 I like that. Amy? The first thing I would say is look up Dr. Becky Kennedy and she can speak directly to this, especially with teens. And really, what I've learned from her, because consequences don't work in my home either, is that there's something bigger happening underneath, and it's about what they're feeling
Starting point is 00:14:48 and trying to connect with them in that way, which may seem daunting in the beginning. But there's certain scripts that she'll give you. Like scripts you can use, and you can keep them in your back pocket, and you say them verbatim, and it's crazy to watch it start to work. Like, hey, I feel like there might be some really big feelings happening right now.
Starting point is 00:15:04 and then walk away, let them think about it. They may not want to talk to you in that moment, but then they know that you're willing to hear them out and you want to know what's really going on. I thought about this. I don't have kids, but I got two things. One, you stick your kid in the bathroom and you make them listen to Man in the Mirror by Michael Jackson.
Starting point is 00:15:18 That's great. Or look in the mirror over and over again. That's my original. And then two, you make them eat bologna sandwiches all day until they fix it. Well, see, I thought about the bologna sandwich. Like, seriously. Those are two of Eddie's parenting techniques.
Starting point is 00:15:29 If she's getting in trouble, then you start bringing up jail. You start being like, do you want to? Scared straight? Do you want to live in jail? Do you want to be in jail for the rest of your life? Because this is what they eat, baloney sandwiches. They don't get to do this.
Starting point is 00:15:40 Do you take her, though? To jail? Scared her. That's not a bad idea. To visit the jail? Leave her for the night? I don't know. Oh, you like detention?
Starting point is 00:15:47 You like detention? How about this detention? Yeah. Jail cell, boom, shut. For life. Oh, my God. Okay, class dojo and Aunt Becky from full house. No, Dr. Becky.
Starting point is 00:15:59 Got it. Yeah. So check those out. All right, thank you. I have nothing to say on this because I don't, I don't know. I can't even get myself to act right, much less a kid. Hang in there. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:16:06 It does get better, hopefully. To me or does that hurt? No, I'm telling her. Like, you know, sometimes you're in a season with your kids where you're like, oh, my gosh. It will get better. And then like a year or later, you're like, wow, okay, we survived. If you want to email us about anything, we have some sort of advice for you. Morgan, what's that email address?
Starting point is 00:16:22 Mailbag at bobbybones.com. All, close it up. We've got your email and we've read it on the air. Now it's time to close Bobby's mailbag. Yeah. This is a segment I do. just invented called, I felt that. Well, I'll tell you a story and then I go, ah, I felt that.
Starting point is 00:16:41 Here's your story from Syracuse.com. Syracuse man was charged with arson after police said he had to set his shower curtain on fire in his apartment to try to get visitors to leave. What? I felt that. Really? Yeah. At 12.21 a.m., Daniel Hart, 39, wanted the people inside of his apartment to leave.
Starting point is 00:17:00 And they wouldn't leave. They were just hanging out. So I went to his bathroom He lit the shower curtain on fire with a lighter The curtain fell under the floor where it burned Until police officers arrived and stomped on it Hard was charged with second-degree arson A felony
Starting point is 00:17:14 He is being held I can't believe he's in jail I do believe he's in jail But like I felt that Like sometimes People just hang out I'm funny And you're like
Starting point is 00:17:24 All right You had three yawns in a row And no one's getting in the head No one's moving So you have to set your house on buyer? I felt that. It's drastic. I felt that.
Starting point is 00:17:38 There are times where my wife will have a talk with me afterward and she goes, you just left and went to bed. I was like, yeah, it's time for me to go to bed. She goes, company was still here. I yawn for a few times. I gave him the sign. And so I just went to bed. You just made me yawn.
Starting point is 00:17:53 Like what's your yawning? Like our close friends know. Like if Mike and his wife come over, they know. And we're playing cards. Mike and I are the same. Same. We work out a plan under the table to be like, we got to work. And so we're going to be like, all right, look, you act like your wrist hurts because
Starting point is 00:18:09 after you slap the king down, and be like, oh, I'll do three yawns and we'll get out of here. But most times people, because they have different schedules than I do. They have that thing that people keep tagging me on where it's like a banner that hangs, like a happy birthday banner, but it says please leave by nine. Oh, yeah, yeah. Excellent. Well, anyway, to you, Daniel Hart 39, I felt that. And that's our first ever segment of. I felt that. What do you think about that? Not bad.
Starting point is 00:18:33 Workshopping that. Come on! It's time for the good news. With producer Eddie. Yeah, I'll make something good. Last year, Tampa Bay Lightning hockey player, Steven Stamcoast was doing a press conference, and he got interrupted by his three-year-old son over and over,
Starting point is 00:18:49 saying, Dad, Dad, I want to ride the Sammoney. You know what that is, right? That's that big thing. I drove one in Colorado on Breaking Bobby Bones. That's right. When I went and played with the Paralympic hockey team, yeah. Yeah, it's that big. Huge. It like flattens the ice or something.
Starting point is 00:19:01 Yeah, it's supposed to smooth it out. Yeah, supposed to smooth it. Well, he kept interrupting his dad during the press conference. And then the lightning heard it and said, all right, you know what? Let's make his dreams come true. So they let him ride the Zamboni. He was three years old. And since then, the team created a little kid Zamboni that for all the kids,
Starting point is 00:19:17 if they want to be a kid Zamboni for the Tampa Bay Lightning, they can buy these little Zambonies and they're for sale now at the team website. Oh, they built a smaller one. They also have a kid's seat on the Zamboni that they use. On the big Zamboni. Yes, yes. The toys. They just make them?
Starting point is 00:19:34 The toys make them and Carter's pictures on the actual Zamboni. Oh, cute. Did he, like, license this picture? Is he making any cash on this? I don't think Carter's making any cash. I think Carter's agent needs to negotiate with lightning for... I think his dad, Stephen, makes a good penny playing hockey. Yeah, that's pretty cool.
Starting point is 00:19:47 I didn't know what that thing did. I'd always see it roll on the ice. I also grew up in Arkansas. We didn't have hockey in Arkansas. We had a couple minor league teams, but even then I think that was on grass. I don't know. I don't know what those things did. We never had hockey.
Starting point is 00:19:59 And like the kid, I would ask our producer. Can I ride the Zamboni? While he was doing a press conference? Yeah, they were like shooting something and being a meeting. Hey, hey, hey, hey, Kirk. Can I ride the Zamboni? Okay, fine. So that I got on it and then the team in Denver,
Starting point is 00:20:16 they made mini Zambonis on my face on it. Okay, that's not true. That part's not. Great story. That is what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good. If you're listening live, you may be eating some cereal while you're listening to the show. Maybe happens to breakfast.
Starting point is 00:20:31 You guys feel like breakfast? Yeah, I love breakfast. Love breakfast, right? The loser of this game has to have a little cereal. Well, it's Cheetos and milk. Oh. That's gross. Cheetos are disgusting.
Starting point is 00:20:42 Cheetos and milk. So we're going to play Amy versus Lunchbox. The loser eats Cheetos and Milk. Amy gets three questions. The lunchbox probably know the answer to. Lunch gets three questions, Amy. Probably know the answer to. We'll see how you guys score.
Starting point is 00:20:55 Let's play Amy versus Lunchbox. With Cheetos cereal on the line. That's so gross. Okay, I mean, your first question. What major sporting event will take place in Cutter this year? Cutter what? Cutter? Cutter, Qatar.
Starting point is 00:21:10 It depends on who's saying it. What major sporting event will take place? I feel like it's got to be probably like soccer. What major sporting event will take place this year? The event? Okay, the World Cup? I don't know. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:21:28 That's my guess. You're just saying a lot of things? Yeah, World Cup. Cup, that's correct. Okay. Claw, club, and mallet are types of what tool?
Starting point is 00:21:46 A claw, a club, and a mallet. A bangy-thangy. A bangy-thangy. A bangy thing. Funny name for a band, though. Hey, guys, what the bangy-thangies? Like I'm thinking, a mallet. What is a, I think I'm, isn't that?
Starting point is 00:22:00 A claw, a club, and a mallet are types of what tool? Like a hammer. downer, hammer. Hammer. Your answer is? Yeah, a hammer. Correct. I knew it was a thing you banged with.
Starting point is 00:22:16 I'm already starting to taste Cheetos and milk down now. Amy. Yeah. Hobbs and Shaw. Yeah. Was a spinoff from what big movie franchise? Hobbs and Shaw. A movie?
Starting point is 00:22:31 It was a spinoff from what big movie franchise? Hmm. I don't know. I don't know. Um. Rugrats. I don't... It's an interesting guess.
Starting point is 00:22:45 I mean... It's incorrect. Okay. Lunchbox, Hobbs and Shaw. I've never even heard of Hobbs and Shaw. So we'll go with bad boys. The answer is the Fast and the Furious. Dang it!
Starting point is 00:22:58 I love Fast and the Furious. You got to think it's a lunchbox question, so Rugrats probably not... No, no. I thought that adult man liked Rugrats. Hey, that popped in my head, too. You're thinking of my little pony, and that's only lunchbox. Okay, Lunchbox. ready. Three questions. You have to get
Starting point is 00:23:12 at least two. I have to get two and she can't steal one or else I'm, she don't mouth. You have to get two to survive. Are you ready? I'm ready. Question number one. What is the name of Rupal's reality competition show? What is the name of Rupal's Oh, I've seen this. Reality competition show.
Starting point is 00:23:34 Rupal Drag Queen. Incorrect. Amy? Dang it. America's next designer. Incorrect. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:23:48 You're still in it. It's RuPaul's drag race. Drag race! Oh, so close. Told you. Come on. Gotta be better than that. Lunchbox. What animal is the logo for the brand
Starting point is 00:24:01 Vineyard Vines? What? A whale. Correct. Whoa. Oh, yes, yes. I don't know what that is, but for some reason. I just a bunch of words string together as far as I know.
Starting point is 00:24:13 I don't know. Any of it? Wine? No, it's clothing. It's a shirt. It's a whale on it. Yeah. I can't believe he got that actually
Starting point is 00:24:19 I think I've walked by it somewhere I have no idea Is that like a store? It's preppy kid from the south type stuff right there Lunchbox is your final question You need this to tie to go to set and death Yeah, let's go!
Starting point is 00:24:29 Before becoming the Princess of Wales last month Princess Kate was the Duchess of Blank Sussex Incorrect No I knew You went hard quick You went instinctual and he was wrong I don't even know what that is
Starting point is 00:24:42 Do I need to steal it? Is it Cambridge? It is. I don't even know what that is Amy is our winner. Who is Kate? Cheeto mouth. He's Cheeto mouth.
Starting point is 00:24:51 He's Cheeto mouth. He's Cheeto mouth. He's going to take a couple bites of Cheeto cereal. Open up. This new cereal. Oh, puffs. Oh, it's Cheeto pops. So you need two big bites.
Starting point is 00:25:02 And what is that? Goat milk? Why is it in a jar like that? Did you milk the cow? It's a Chester Cheetah milk. It's a delivered for the milk, man. It is in a jar. That is so gross.
Starting point is 00:25:12 That is so disgusting. All right, let's lunchbox has got the bowl in front of him. I mean, I don't know how you guys do your cereal, but I always have to dip every piece under the milk before you can eat it. I mean, it doesn't look bad. It looks fun. In this case, you don't. If it was orange flavored. Oh, this is going to be so.
Starting point is 00:25:29 But it's not. There he goes. Number one, it's a full puff and milk. He's slurping. He can't fit it all his mouth. I'm not good. It's soggy. Like, the cheese in the milk is a bad combo.
Starting point is 00:25:49 But it's the same thing. Cheese and milk. Yeah, but it, what? It doesn't taste like mac and cheese or anything? No, it doesn't taste like mac and cheese. Did you know that cheese comes from Macau? Yeah, I knew that, but... Last bite.
Starting point is 00:26:00 Oh, gosh. Here we go, another puff. Oh, so gross. I'm so gross. I'm nice. Yeah. How much do you eat the whole bowl? Oh, my gosh, yes, please.
Starting point is 00:26:14 How much to eat the whole bowl? Like a real number. If you throw me a number, you only get one shot at saying a number. Oh, man. $65 bucks. It's worth it, both. Do it. I felt like if I went 100 you wouldn't do it.
Starting point is 00:26:28 65's a little too rich for my blood. Oh, come on. Yeah, I only doing one number. 50. I'd probably got it to 50. I know. 50. I only say one number.
Starting point is 00:26:38 I can only do one number. No, I said one number. Now you say one number. It's precedent. That's it. You agreed with $15 more. And why six, 65's an odd number. I know.
Starting point is 00:26:48 But he, lunchbox, you're the loser. Amy, you're the winner. Until next week, friends, that's another round of Amy versus Lunchbox. Starting point is 00:30:39 Neither had I until I got booed. Have you ever heard of that, guys? No, no. Okay, guess what it is before she tells you? Because I didn't know and she told me and I was like, I never even heard that was a thing. Lunchbox, I mean, your guess about standing outside and booing was my initial. that was funny. Initial thought that's funny.
Starting point is 00:30:55 Halloween, you suck. Boo. Then I thought you put a bunch of ghosts in their front yard. That's booing. Sort of like for sale signing someone's house. You take a bunch of four sale signs. You go stealing from people's houses that are for sale. And then you just find some random house and stick them all in their yard. hilarious.
Starting point is 00:31:09 That's a funny prank. Eddie? Yeah, same. I think it's like decorating for Halloween, but without their consent, just decorate. Wouldn't it be funny to do that not at Halloween, though? Oh, that would be found. Yeah. So we're totally off.
Starting point is 00:31:23 It's not a negative thing. Right. And it is a thing. I had to look it up. And sure enough, it's online. And neighbors do it to each other. But it's anonymous. You don't know who booed you.
Starting point is 00:31:34 And what it is is you get this package on your porch full of Halloween-type goodies. And then this cute little note that says, you've been booed. Now it's your turn to boo another neighbor. And I'm like to pass it online at Starbucks. And I'm like, I know. I thought, am I awful neighbor if I don't continue the booing? Like, do I break the streak? and then other neighbors miss out.
Starting point is 00:31:54 But I would have to put together this whole little cute basket. You don't want to be the person that don't boo though. I know, right? Because you'll be known because in your neighborhood. It'll be like, where did the booing end? Everybody's pretty close. Her house. Can you re-boo the boo?
Starting point is 00:32:07 The great question, is it illegal re-boon? Just give them that same basket. Boo it somewhere else? Yes. Boo it on over. Just get a little spray paint and the basket of different color. Eat one of the things. Put in one thing new like a candle and there you go.
Starting point is 00:32:20 There you go. I'd never heard of booing before. Me neither. It's kind of annoying. Yeah. It's a lot of pressure on you to keep it going. I can see, yes, the annoying part, but I also could see how it's a fun thing for your neighborhood. And if you have kids, they can get involved.
Starting point is 00:32:33 And then you're supposed to go in the dark and you sneak over to neighbors. That's how it ends. You go in the dark, you put a mask on. So here's why I think it's kind of annoying is that it says we now want you to keep it going. Right. If somebody just gave you a gift and was like, hey, boo, we scared you with love. This is for you. Happy Halloween.
Starting point is 00:32:50 That would be fun and cute. Then I wouldn't feel the pressure of being like, Now I got to go boo somebody else. But it's the whole, now you got to keep it going. When I'll be like, dang it. Yeah, but I hadn't thought of your idea of just rebuing the booing the boo. That was my idea. Classic Eddie.
Starting point is 00:33:04 You know, march it on over to somebody else's house. You put it back at the house and because you give it to you? What is it anonymous? What if I reboot the person that can boo me? Hilarious. Oh gosh. So that's Halloween number one. We're getting close to Halloween.
Starting point is 00:33:18 It's the 20th. Yeah, it's right around the corner. So number two is to share us how old now? 15. Crazy. So she's 15, and I imagine a 15-year-old wants to dress a little more adult for Halloween. Yeah, I don't get it. I don't, she wants to be a pirate, but everything she's showing me is sexy pirate.
Starting point is 00:33:36 And I'm like, no, nope, no. She's like, well, what if we don't order one? I just recreate my own. So she sent me a bunch of different links to recreate her own outfit, which when you piece it all together, it's sexy pirate. So I'm like, no, no, no, and no. then I sent her images We're texting about it back and forth I sent her a picture of a bumblebee
Starting point is 00:33:55 And a minion Oh my god You can't do that That's good Amy's like I got to send her an M&M Cinderella A Pumpkin That would be awesome
Starting point is 00:34:03 She could her and her friends They could each be a different color Here's the thing You gotta find some middle ground I understand you're not wanting her To be a sexy pirate There's no point You don't need to be a pirate
Starting point is 00:34:12 With a corset I don't with you Amy Okay well hold on everybody And then her reply to me I'm represents to Cherra here To the bumblebee, I'll show you the text. She just replied, hard no. Hilarious.
Starting point is 00:34:24 Where did you learn hard to know? That's the negotiation tactic that I like right there. Hard to know. It's something in the middle. She's 15. She feels like she's 22. And she's 15. You feel like she's 9.
Starting point is 00:34:38 And you got to find something in the middle there. Because she cannot go show up. I'm a gummy bear. You see her eyes. Oh, that'd be cool. I mean, what's wrong with a gummy bear? Nothing. Look how cute that bumblebee is.
Starting point is 00:34:52 Exactly. Let me see. Oh, oh. Okay. Sorry. She actually technically replied, Heck no, I'm sorry, but that's not good. And then my sister chimed in,
Starting point is 00:35:02 well, maybe we could add this to it, and that's when she said, hard no. So it looks like I'm going to need to bring you two together. Be the mediary, intermediary, and then we'll figure out a costume. She can be a pirate, but what if she doesn't show any, skin from her sternum to her knees above her knees ankles she can still be
Starting point is 00:35:25 skirt I mean but pirate I mean she's like well what about tall boots because I'm like no a pirate doesn't need tall boots we don't need over the need boots for to be a pirate I don't see a problem with the boots it's covering skin I don't like the core what if the court but there's no skin yeah that's on the outside of it it just doesn't seem necessary they didn't wear corsets but all of them online do she Googled showed me every pirate costume online has a corset. For whatever reason, whoever dreamt up this female pirate, she wore corset. I'll tell you who dreamt up the female pirate, some male going, I wish a female
Starting point is 00:35:55 would wear this around here. Exactly. I don't know what a corset is, so I'm looking at it up. It cintes your waist and accentuates your... Okay, look, I'm looking at some pirate costumes that she could wear that are also cool. Okay. There are some of these where she doesn't have to be... Well, trust me, I probably showed her those, and she was like, no. I'll text her and be like, how about this one? Amy, let me show you this one. Okay. Well, we just need to make sure we can get it in time. I feel like this one's a good one, like something like that. Oh, that's awesome.
Starting point is 00:36:23 Fearless pirate. Okay. It's adult, but it's not hoochy adult. Right. We don't want that. No. Because we're 15 and I'm going to meet her where she's at. Correct.
Starting point is 00:36:32 Yeah, like we need to dial back the... Boom, I'm hit her right now. Hey, I'm going to say this. Dial it back. This costume is cool for a pirate. Okay, see what she says to you. I can't wait. Well, I'm not done yet.
Starting point is 00:36:47 is cool for a pirate. You got to let me act like I'm on her team for a second. Okay, so let me act like I'm on her team. I'm trying to convince your mom not to be lame. That's good. I'm a team. I want a team with her. Because then she'll be like, yeah, you're on my side.
Starting point is 00:37:05 I don't mind doing this because it's cool. But he's really working for you, Amy. Say, I'll pay for it. I'll pay for it. How did I get roped into this? I just sent that. Thank you, though. Why don't I get rope into the pan for the costume?
Starting point is 00:37:16 That's awesome. Thanks. This thing's $79. Perfect. Thank you for paying for that. I feel like I've been had, though. This whole thing is probably set up to me to buy this.
Starting point is 00:37:24 Yeah, I think that's what it was. No, it just naturally evolved. A voicemail from Kelly and Kentucky. Just wanted to say I'm sitting here at work, catching up on this week's episodes. And I want you all to know that I appreciate what you and your team stand for, all that positivity.
Starting point is 00:37:39 I've been an avid listener for years, and anyhow, I'm getting married on 11-11 in Hawaii. It's also my birthday on the 27th. And my fiance surprised me with tickets to the Bobby Bone Show, your show next Saturday. And I just wanted to say I'm super excited. So shout out to the best fiance ever. Amber, I love you. That's awesome.
Starting point is 00:37:59 It's this Saturday. So we don't get that mixed up. Because next and this, some people say next is the one coming up. That's right. I say this is the one coming up. And then next is the one after this. Yeah. But some people say, I'm just letting everybody know it's a 20.
Starting point is 00:38:12 My show is the 22nd. We would say this. It's this. In two days. that Saturday, yes. Let me say, I don't even want to spoil anything. It's going to be a good show. You got surprises or what?
Starting point is 00:38:23 I'm just saying it's going to be a good show. That's all I'm going to say. Okay. And, you know, I'm very fortunate. They sell out rather quickly. It's the fifth show in row that's sold out. And I don't know that I'm going to be doing anymore here, at least not this year in Nashville.
Starting point is 00:38:35 But that being said, it's going to be a good one. We make them all good. It's going to be a good one. It's cool. And it's this. And the day of, they always release like 10 tickets because they're called the Holy Yes tickets. Meaning they need tickets in case holy S the president calls or holy S
Starting point is 00:38:51 The part of the building burnt down and they got to move those people so day of the show they always released some holy S Tickets okay if you we can buy them at it yes they could be called oh crap tickets Maybe they're called OS Not to be whole I just know there's an S I never heard of that either all right that's what's up thank you very much and congratulations on your wedding I'll see you on Saturday The Babbage Ball Show Here's Amy's pile of stories So Bobby, let's say you're at a coffee shop
Starting point is 00:39:18 And you're ordering coffee. Like, how do you ask for what you want? You're placing your order. Go ahead. Well, I mean, I guess I don't like coffee, but I would say... Well, tea, whatever. Uh, pardon me, boy. Can I get a coffee from you? Coffee maker. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:39:33 What do you... I don't know what the deal is. Well, there's the coffee shop that has a sliding scale. And if you're polite when you order your coffee, like, or your tea, I'd like a chai latte please, then you're going to pay like $2.50. If you're rude, when you order it, like, yeah, try latte, don't look in the eye, da-da-da-da, five bucks. Well, by me saying, pardon me boy and singing it in a nice melody,
Starting point is 00:39:56 I think I probably got it for a nickel. Was that Chattanooga Choochoochoochoochoo? Pardon me, boy, is that the Chattanooga Choochoochoo-that's right. Where's this place? Well, the owner of the cafe says that he hopes this sliding scale will bring good vibes only to his business and just encourage people to be more polite in general. I like it. I don't think it's a place you're ever going to go.
Starting point is 00:40:16 Me either. It's a coffee shop. I don't really. But I thought, well, what if other businesses adopt this? And then it's just like you create this environment for people to be kind. Well, the move is to say you're doing it and do it, but start the very bottom at what you're going to charge anyway and say, we could slide you all the way down at 250, but that was the original price.
Starting point is 00:40:30 Yeah. And then it's like move it up if they're rude. And so that's how you do it. What else? Well, we're always looking for ways to get good sleep. especially you. So I thought I would share with you a toddler's bedtime routine because some adults are saying this is what we need to do. Just act like we're toddlers and we'll be good. Please, say wear a diaper. I would love to wear a diaper and not have to get up. Is that it?
Starting point is 00:40:52 No. Go ahead. But I mean, you could do it if you want it. First of all, set a consistent bedtime. I do okay Monday through Thursday, but not great. I know, but you just have to stick with it. I mean, even with my kids on the weekends, though, we stay up a little bit later, but not too much. take a bath, something warm, maybe even a shower, two hours before bedtime. It'll help you fall asleep faster. At least. I got a lot of stuff to do. And then a shower bath is right before bed.
Starting point is 00:41:19 The problem is if you take a bath, this is your heart. Well, that's because you make it too hot. Yeah, yeah. Here's me getting in the bath. Ow, ow, it needs to be that hot. I need to touch it on my foot. Oh, it's too hot. And then slowly go, ah, okay, my foot's in.
Starting point is 00:41:35 If it's not that hot, any worth my time. Why get, who gets in a cold bath? It doesn't be cold, but it can be warm bath. Yeah, not me. It needs to be hot to trot. The next thing you're going to do, Bobby, is put on lotion because... I hate lotion. I don't put lotion on anything ever.
Starting point is 00:41:50 Yeah, well, this is... Disgusting. This might be why you're not getting in sleep. It's disgusting. A toddler would have it put on lotion? No, with the... I do it. You'll put on lotion from me before I'm going to bed?
Starting point is 00:41:58 I'll do it for my kids first and then go to your house. What that does is it gives you a slight massage, which helps you relax. I'm good. I have a therigan if I want to do that. And then the fourth thing is do something quiet before bed, which a lot of times toddlers have story time or reading with their parents. So do something like that for yourself. My wife did low-key tell me to start reading again. I quit a couple months ago.
Starting point is 00:42:21 I was like, you know, I've been reading too much. I'm tired. I got a couple bad books in a row. And then I felt like a quitter. And I started hating myself. I'm like, I'm stupid, ugly. Nobody likes me. And so I stopped reading.
Starting point is 00:42:30 I was like, I'm out for a little bit. I got a fine book I like. So I'm just going to give myself a break. And the other night, she was like, you know, we should start a routine. You should start reading. Maybe you read before you go to sleep, which I think is her going, hey, buddy, you need to pick up the book again. So I got a new book I'm going to try. Well, I think she saw how quickly you escalate with things because you're like, oh, I quit reading.
Starting point is 00:42:50 I'm such a quitter. Oh, I'm stupid. Nobody likes me. I'm ugly. They're real fast. I think I should eat some worms. Remember that book? It's a kid?
Starting point is 00:42:59 Oh, yeah. Fried worms, right? Something like that. Brett Eldridge was talking about his upcoming Christmas tour and he revealed that. that he might be ready to settle down with someone soon. He said he loves his family and everything, but he doesn't have that person that he's going to share his life with yet, but he's very open to it,
Starting point is 00:43:14 and he feels like he's getting closer by the day, and he's very optimistic. So, I don't know if anybody is listening. Slide into his DMs, something. Don't do that. He ain't going to answer that one. Well, I don't know. I just thought if I might give some girls some hope.
Starting point is 00:43:28 Hey, if you're going to a Christmas show, you're on the front row. That ain't going to work either. I just tell you, That ain't going to work either. He just needs to randomly meet somebody at a grocery store. Yeah. And they can't be wearing a bread-eldered shirt.
Starting point is 00:43:42 Yeah. And they, you know. They're out there. Yeah, that's my friend. Well, I just liked that he was saying he was optimistic. He's never been more optimistic than now, I think. Yeah, but that ain't going to work, so I didn't do the details. All right.
Starting point is 00:43:56 I'm Amy. That's my file. That was Amy's pile of stories. It's time for the good news. With Bobby. Tell me something good. A woman identified as a 20-something female from New Mexico was on a hike. She was near Silverton, Colorado.
Starting point is 00:44:13 She fell and she didn't just fall and go, ow, but she fell and broke her leg. So she spent the night in the wilderness, not because she wanted to, but because she couldn't walk. She managed to get herself to a spot on the bank of the Anonymous River where she could be seen by a passing train. That was her goal. Wow. I know. Smart. So she kind of drags herself there.
Starting point is 00:44:33 a passenger on the first train of the day happened to be looking out the window. No way. And having to see the... Yeah. And she was like, why don't know if that's what should be out there right now? And so they used a trolley-like system and they got to her because they used a helicopter to actually see her. The injured hiker was airlifted to the hospital and tell you ride for treatment. Her family says she has a long route of healing ahead of her because the break was brutally, like bone.
Starting point is 00:45:01 That type thing. But if the person hadn't been looking out, hadn't seen her, hadn't thought, well, that doesn't look right. There's just so many things here. That one could be dead. I know, because, like, Matt, what if it was you on the train? Like, would you maybe think, like, oh, look at that person enjoying the river? Yes, waving. Well, laying down, crying, holding her leg.
Starting point is 00:45:22 Desperately waving at you. Yeah, yeah, yeah, with a sign. This is SOS. They get in the dirt around her. I'm saying just in case, you're going so fast, you know. I don't know it's a bullet train. It's not Amtrak. I don't think we're in Japan.
Starting point is 00:45:34 But still, all of this, still, that's really crazy that someone happened to be looking out right at that time to see her and then go, that probably shouldn't be what it is. Amazing. And they got her. And to know exactly where they were, too, and say, this is where I think I saw her. Can you please go save her? Wow. Great story. That is what it's all about.
Starting point is 00:45:51 That was tell me something good. We have 90 seconds to figure out the morning corny. That's Amy's corny. It's like a riddle. We got four at one point in a minute of 30. It's our personal record. Wow. But we should celebrate if we just get one.
Starting point is 00:46:06 That's the goal. Okay. Yeah. Yeah, but we've gotten pretty good where if we don't get at least two or three, we're disappointed. Y'all don't celebrate. We leave dejected. Okay, so it's the investigative morning corny. A minute 30 is on the clock.
Starting point is 00:46:17 Team, you ready? Yeah. All right, let's go. The morning corny. What is the vampire's favorite fruit? Fruit. Blood orange. I guess it could be of it.
Starting point is 00:46:30 That's not what I have. Blood, blood, water. Sucker? Think more specific. What is a vampire's favorite fruit? I want to suck. Nectarine. Nectarine.
Starting point is 00:46:43 Deng Deng. We just get two for that one. Go ahead. Okay. What kind of pants do ghosts wear? Flacks. Slacks? Pants.

Starting point is 00:47:48 The Gravaton. The zipper. The ferris wheel. The scary ones. The roller coaster. The disappearing act. No, we were so close. What did you say?
Starting point is 00:48:02 Rollercoaster. What are other rides, though, just for fun? Gravitra. Y'all kind of almost said both. I would have taken two options. The zipper's really cool. Let's just walk through some rides. Okay.
Starting point is 00:48:12 There's the... Carousel? What's that? Oh, Tower of Terror. There's the Ferris wheel? There's the Mary Go Round. Mary Go Round? Oh, with the horses?

Starting point is 00:52:31 Facebook, phone, email, click this link. Don't click that link. So now we have what we're calling the Bobby Bone Show scam alert. Anytime we hear of a new one, we're going to bring it. We're going to bring it in and tell you about it. All right, scam alert. This one is, and Ray brought me this one. Ray, this is like a heating, like a, what is it?
Starting point is 00:52:53 Yeah, just because the temperatures are changing, watch out for this because people are going to fall for it. Okay, experts say if you get a call from somebody at the gas company, saying you have an overdue bill or they need money to activate your heat because right now that's the thing because people don't want to be cold. People don't want to have it drop and all of a sudden they're freezing. They, you know, they're saying, do not pay a fee to activate your heat because there is no such thing.
Starting point is 00:53:15 Scammers are making phony phone calls. They're spoofing numbers to make it look. like it's from someone in your area and they say your utility company's name or they'll put it even the caller ID they can spoof it and put that up there too so you're like oh it is it is heat and gas company not calm they're hoping to scare you into handing over your debit or credit card info but all companies that have a website and they're like go do that there never pay over the phone so that this is a heads up they're get this is the new one because it's getting cold they're going to scare you with that do you want to be cold do you want to freeze the death well you better pay
Starting point is 00:53:48 activation fee. They're trying everything. That's a scam alert. Scam alert. Scam alert. Scam alert. Thank you. Remember, and if someone hits you and says, hey, we just got a purchase on your Amazon account to buy an iPhone. Don't do that either. You didn't buy an iPhone. They just want you to push a button to go, oh, I didn't have that. They want you to say you didn't make that purchase. That's their goal. Press 1 if you did not make this purchase. Oh, I didn't. Beep. Yeah, hey, you didn't make. What about, what kind of scummer?
Starting point is 00:54:18 bag does that for a living. I know. But I think they're, like you've said before, they're hopeful for someone that might either fall for or did just actually buy something because I got one for an Apple computer after I had bought an Apple computer and it was either that they were somehow tracking my purchases or coincidentally, they just happened to ping me that day. And I was very tempted to click because I'm like, I just bought one. Did you? Did you? No, I didn't. Did you? No, because I've, y'all have taught me to be. Safe space here, Amy. Safe space. I'll tell you what, this time we will not laugh. We won't. We promise. We've learned our lesson not to laugh. No, but it really was the day after I bought a new computer.
Starting point is 00:54:51 Jamie. So like, you can't judge that. Did you get close? Yeah. Did you hover? Did you hit a button and talk to them? No. What'd you do?
Starting point is 00:54:59 I forwarded an email to someone else in my life that helps me with things. And they informed me I should not click on. Scam alert! Scam alert! Scam alert! Hey, you know what I wanted to bring up, though? Something that I've been wondering for a couple months. You came on the show talking about that.
Starting point is 00:55:18 about bills and you said you got a water bill that was, how much was that water bill? $600. And we were all like, what are you? Yeah, bonkers. How much water are you drinking? Yeah, not that much. Right, so you called them and you said what? Oh, I mean, I talked to customer service multiple times.
Starting point is 00:55:31 And then I even came back and gave you all the update that had gone down to what, I don't know, like 90 or 60 or something. I'm like, wow, that's crazy. And slowly we're watching it drop. I got my water bill, my latest water bill. It's almost unbelievable the opposite direction. It makes me think that water is a scam. because the water company's a scam. There's no, and I'm about to call them to talk about this water bill being so low because I don't.
Starting point is 00:55:56 That's a weird call. Guys, you need to charge me a little more. No, I don't want to get charged more, but now I want you to explain how I went from $600 to $27. That's your newest. My latest bill. You didn't have a leak or anything. No, we had it checked. My latest bill, $27.
Starting point is 00:56:13 What if they're in like cahoots with a company that comes in checks for leaks? I mean. Oh. Listen, but what I tell you worked for me was I had a call and I had to be diligent, but eventually it started to go down. And so I think they're just hopeful for people that have a lot going on in life and maybe aren't paying close attention to their bills until suddenly they decide to and realize they're being overcharged drastically.
Starting point is 00:56:34 This is what happened to me. And then I start calling and then I start paying attention and then, oh, wow, lookie there, my water bills down. So if they were... What are you saying? I'm saying something's up. Say it. I'm saying something's in the water.
Starting point is 00:56:48 get it. We get it. But you think now... I'm saying something is not right. Because you don't go, what if I had never called? Would it still be high? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:56:59 But it wouldn't be this low. Right. Tell me how now, how could I have ever spent $600 on water? I'll tell you one thing. I don't like it when you yell at me. That's why I don't like right now. Tell her, Bobby.
Starting point is 00:57:10 But like also don't, you know, advocate for your water. What are the world? For yourself. Like call and try. And the thing is it does take time and it takes patience. But just call because I think it'll get you somewhere. It's gotten me somewhere.
Starting point is 00:57:27 My water is 20. Now they're paying her drink water. Yes. More she drinks more they pay her. Yeah, that's crazy though that it was so high and you raise the stink. And now all the sudden, oh, all good here. Don't say anything about it. We're helping you out.
Starting point is 00:57:37 Who else is being taken advantage of? Exactly. Scam alert. Scam alert! Scam alert! It's crazy, right? Yeah. It's good, though.
Starting point is 00:57:49 Your bill's down so low. 27. Until they go. We've been undercharging you, so now you have paid $600 the next month. Exactly. All right, just an update. Earlier on the show,
Starting point is 00:57:58 Amy and I were talking about her daughter, who's 15, and she wants to be a pirate for Halloween, which I don't hear anything wrong with just being a pirate, but she wants to be a pirate, and the pirate, the costume is maybe a little too adult. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:58:12 Yeah. Completely understand. Yes, thank you. However, you're wanting her to be things like an M&M. That would be fun. I showed her a picture of a time. I was an M&M. You wanted to be things like a can of beans.
Starting point is 00:58:24 You know, just big things. Minion. Minion would be cool. How cute is a minion. Same costume. They just draw something else on it. Don't forget the bumblebee. Again, same costume.
Starting point is 00:58:33 You're just drawing different stripes on it. So I've been texting with Amy's daughter, being like, no, let me help you. Let me find a compromise. I will step in and be the intermediary. So I found a pirate costume that we agreed upon. It's a little less. and a little more like oh okay
Starting point is 00:58:53 you can do that yeah it covers her whole body covers the whole body and I said this costume is cool for a pirate I'm trying to convince your mom not to be lame I'll even pay for it
Starting point is 00:59:02 I don't think you're lame I'm just trying to make her I know I got you yeah I'm here and she goes yeah that's a good one for mom and I said what what do you mean
Starting point is 00:59:12 no no no no I said no no for you I mean for you she goes I mean for Amy oh wow I said she doesn't want to be pirate. She says you want to
Starting point is 00:59:22 and you can't look like a hoochie. I said that. I forgot you said that one. Well, I asked you guys if that was okay to say. I know, I know. I'd already blocked that out, but okay, I know that was a minute ago. Keep going. And then I said, so you don't want that costume? Why not? She goes, I know a pirate's good. So, well, that's as good as it's going to get if you want to be a pirate.
Starting point is 00:59:41 She goes, tell my mom to wear that one. I said, so you don't want it? She said, no. Oh, man. She straight up said, tell my mom to wear it. At least she wants to match with you. Yeah, okay, that's not her point. She's not budging, is she? No.
Starting point is 00:59:54 I haven't offered to pay for the costume. And it's a cool costume. And she's, she, what? Now I'm starting to get offended. I'm like, what? Yeah, welcome to parenthood. Yeah, that's happening here.
Starting point is 01:00:06 That's a cool costume. It is. And it's not a can of pinto beans or a bumblebee or whatever, a tuna can. This is a real cool pirate costume I was going to get her, and she doesn't want it. What about, should we offer up a Power Ranger? Oh, Power Rangers are cool. Yeah. me text her. Okay. Okay. How about a
Starting point is 01:00:24 Power Ranger? Any color you want. You choose the color. Yeah. Boom. Sent. Cool. Let's see what happens. There aren't any Hootie Power Rangers. Let me check. No, there's there's there's hoochie everything. Like if you search like you can find. And that's the thing. I get it when you're an adult. Some people, that's the route they go. They go. It's the one time of year they can do that without being judged maybe. Exactly. But you said the key word. Adult. Adult. Right. And honestly, she hasn't been interested in trick or treating. She's 15. Last year she won't do anything. It's too cold out. I've been trying to understand also where she's going. And she said, well, what if someone at school has a party?
Starting point is 01:01:05 Hypothetical completely because there definitely ain't a party. You know, the weekend before because Halloween's on a school night. Yeah. And then I thought, okay, well, I definitely can't be the mom that lets her daughter show up to someone's, you know, house for a party. costume? No. In a, you know, pirate costume that's got this corset. I wear a different sides of that fence. I was like, you can't let her show up in a bumblebee costume. Oh, Power Rangers does have a one. If you type in Power Rangers skimpy costume, you get it. I'm not typing that in, though. That's the thing. I'm just telling you, I tried Hoochie, but that didn't work. I know. I really, she feels like I'm treating her like a child. And you are when you say bumblebee. Okay, fine. So I'll stop with that. But I still, you know, I still, you know, I still
Starting point is 01:01:48 think that that could be something cute. Why do I... I don't think she aims for cute though. I think your goals are different. Like if I could remember what I was in high school, I just can't remember. I was an M&M when I was 35. But I... That was 35. I know. So I'm trying to think back like how did my friends dress for Halloween in high school and I can't remember. It's also different. There are some of those TikToks where they're like, they're like eighth graders now and that shows them doing a TikTok like a dance. And they're like us in eighth grade. And it's them doing like a, you know, some new kids on the block with a big camera on that, you know, that kind of recording. No ring light, no, like, all the moves.
Starting point is 01:02:23 And like, so wholesome. Yeah. So, you know, obviously times are different. You're the mom. You get to make the rules. But I think there is a way to make you both a little less unhappy. Yeah. And that's why I'm here.
Starting point is 01:02:34 Which is what I've been over here. That's why you hired me as consultant. You're texting as a consultant. And I'm texting like, okay, I'm seeing that there's big feelings around this. And I want to be on your side. So maybe as a team, we can come up with something. that we both agree on. I can't find a single bumblebee costume
Starting point is 01:02:51 that isn't lame. Really? For a 15 year old. Okay. Yeah, and I'm looking. I mean, there's one called Women's Deluxe Queen Bee costume and it's got like a little skirt on it.
Starting point is 01:03:02 And it's like the closest thing to being somewhat not lame because it's got like the really high socks that go up to your thighs. But even it's got a sky. I don't know. I don't know if maybe she wants to be that. But bumblebee not looking good, Amy.
Starting point is 01:03:17 Okay, well fine. No bumblebee, but what? Is there, hey, Mike, is there a costume for a Bible? Okay. You just go fully wholesome. Okay. Y'all are funny. Ha, ha, ha.
Starting point is 01:03:28 Oh, there is a men's biblical times Jesus. Oh, that's cool. You can do that. Yeah, there's a lot of that. So I'll see what she says. She'll hit me back in a second. Okay. Breaking news.
Starting point is 01:03:45 I just got a message from Scoo of Steve. He said, first of all, who played Powerball last night? No. I didn't. Of course I did. I forgot. Is it the one I paid for the other day? Me, lunchbox, and you, Scuba?
Starting point is 01:03:55 Amy as well. Oh, yes. Just checked our powerball tickets. We won the most money we've ever won to date. Let's go. Dang it. I'll leave that there. We'll put it at the end of the news, okay?
Starting point is 01:04:11 Be ready. I told you guys. Money, money, money. Oh, my gosh. Cash and checks. Let's do the news. Bobby's Big. Stories.
Starting point is 01:04:22 Colorado father's facing a misdemeanor charge after he put his firearm into his third grader's backpack and forgot to take it out before the kid went to school. The student found the gun and took it to a teacher. The father's been charged with unlawful storage of a firearm. The dad says the gun wound up in the kid's backpack because he put it there to move the gun from his house to his vehicle, KDVR.
Starting point is 01:04:43 It does sound like a misunderstanding and a decision that probably wasn't the best and a decision that was bad not to remember it. And luckily, luckily, the kid wasn't playing with a gun at school. his responsible kid, took it to the teacher. A lot of things happen right here that countered the thing that happened wrong. And I like this story because it shows you
Starting point is 01:05:03 that this kid was probably raised as in, hey, we don't mess with guns. Dad has a gun, but you don't mess with it. And he took it to the teacher. He was like, hey, I shouldn't have this. And the fact that he's only getting charged with unlawful storage of a firearm, that's a good thing because,
Starting point is 01:05:17 well, it could have been charged with is something way worse that a kid been shot. Like a felony. Yeah. So let's just do a little reminder here. There are two things. One, don't store guns in your kids' backpacks.
Starting point is 01:05:28 Yeah, not the Spider-Man back-Han. Find another bag. To take it to the car? I mean, never been... Yeah, and then two, raise your kids to know that these are tools and or weapons, and accordingly they should be respected and educated. There are these really good cartoons on YouTube of these animated kids finding guns in their houses and what they do in the scenarios.
Starting point is 01:05:54 And it's really good. Like, search those out. Those are awesome. Yeah. Or put an alarm on your gun. Yeah, that too. Or if a kid touches it, it goes, whew-wee-w-wow.
Starting point is 01:06:02 I don't know if they have that, but maybe you should have that. They call it the kid-toucher. Wait, whoa, whoa. You don't like the name of that alarm? Let's get that alarm too, then. Let's get that one, too. Okay.
Starting point is 01:06:13 It's a multi-purpose. I had a friend who brought over, speaking of kids had a friend who brought over some pumpkins last night. We did pumpkin carving, and he got some massive pumpkins. They were just monsters. And he goes, all right, I brought the pumpkins, but he had him in his SUV. And he said they were so big that when he got out of the truck and walked inside the house,
Starting point is 01:06:32 his alarm started going off because it has a sensor if you leave your kid in the car. They thought it was a kid. It's so heavy. They thought he left his kids in the car and went inside. He had his like buckled up. That's funny. My pumpkins, by the way, you can see the carving up on my Instagram story, Mr. Bobby Bones. And listen, I tried to really go at it.
Starting point is 01:06:49 I was trying to write in intricate letters, go hogs. and then put a candle in it and, like, celebrating my love for Arkansas. And I messed up the H and just, I couldn't cut the H exactly right. So then I switched and then decided to cut the face of Apollo Antonio, the speed skater from the Olympics. Interesting. Have you not seen it? No. He looked, I nailed it.
Starting point is 01:07:08 It looks just like Apollo. It looks just like Apollo Antonono. The speed skater from like 10 years ago. So you can go look. I mean, Caitlin's a really good artist and she made a really tight sea. Like, it's really cool. So all three of ours are put together. You can look and see who's the best.
Starting point is 01:07:25 And I'll tell you right now, mine looks like a four-year-old did it. What does that thing he has on his face? It's called a goatee or it would be called a soul patch. Okay, soul patch is on. Hollow Anton Ono had. Yeah. And I put a picture of them next to each other. You'll be like, how do they do that?
Starting point is 01:07:39 It's like people that make sculptures out of sand. You're like, how do they do it? So the intricacy is there. Same thing with this pumpkin I did. You'll have no idea I was such an artist. Wow. Go to Mr. Bobby Bones, check out my Instagram story and be amazed. I'll say it right now.
Starting point is 01:07:51 Eddie, go look at it. Okay, I'll do that right now. I'll come to you after the story. Don't make a noise yet. I won't. Okay. Health officials are warning how addictive sugar is, and days after cutting it completely,
Starting point is 01:08:00 people in the study were experiencing severe withdrawal symptoms. After abstaining from sugar for three days, participants experienced significant symptoms of withdrawal comparable to kicking a smoking or drinking habit. The serious withdrawal symptoms included migraine. Decreates motivation, lack of concentration, lack of contentment, cravings for sugar, shortness of breath,
Starting point is 01:08:18 and lower ratings of overall well-being. that's from very well-mined. And I can tell you, I cut sugar for like three weeks straight, none. Now I'm back doing sugar Saturdays and occasional sugar Sunday. But I've cut my sugar intake down to like about 85%. I had headaches like crazy. My head was like, oh, it's killing me. And I was like, I'm not drinking up water.
Starting point is 01:08:36 What did I do? And I was like, you're not eating sugar and you ate so much of it. Your body's like, where is it? Now I'm going to punish you because I'm not getting what I'm used to having. That's why I'm in it. I'm going to keep sugar. Yeah. I love sugar.
Starting point is 01:08:48 Yeah. Anyway, think over there. The progression of your carving the pumpkin is hilarious. I started blank. You wrote with Gohogs. Like the letters were just gone. It turned into eyes. It's like, G.O.
Starting point is 01:09:02 Then I was like, I screw it. I just cut the G off. You gave up on it. And it turned into just like a face, two eyes and a nose. And then out of somewhere, a soul patch pops up. And then you are the speed skater. Apollo Anto-No, no. Olympic speed skater from the United States of America.
Starting point is 01:09:16 Wow. Bones. You are an artist. Thank you very much. But like, which came first that you were, You saw Paula once you did it. No, no, I kind of made that face, and I was like, I googled celebrities with soul patches. Okay.
Starting point is 01:09:26 And that's what I found. Yeah, because it does look like him. Thank you. And then I made a couple of alterations. See, Caitlin went the easy way. She just did a C. But it's a good C. It is, but there's no failure there.
Starting point is 01:09:37 I mean, let's do a C. I know. You were going to go hogs and do a little razor back on there. Pardon me for having great goals and massive expectations of myself. But you gave up on it real quick. Better to reach for the stars and land in the clouds is what I say. That's true. do say that.
Starting point is 01:09:52 Anyway, moving on. Good job, man. You can see it, Mr. Bobby Bones on my Instagram. Are you a strict parent? That's the question. Experts say if you are, you should strongly think about changing your approach to raising kids. 50-50. Kids with strict parents are more likely to develop depression and stronger desire to
Starting point is 01:10:06 disobey according to new research. Signed to say, authoritarian style changes the wiring of a kid's brain, making them more likely to develop negativity and not an ideal mental health state at an early age. That is from the European College of. of neuropsycho-pharmacology. It's very interesting because if I don't discipline them, my mental health stage is terrible. But as a parent, who cares about you?
Starting point is 01:10:32 It's only your kids. That's what I hear. Yes, it's true. It is all about your kids. So let yourself go to crap and build them up. I think there's a medium, middle ground there. The Mega Millions ticket, $494 million, bought in Fort Myers, Florida. Three weeks after the city was battered by Hurricane Ian,
Starting point is 01:10:49 This is from NBC News. A mega millions ticket sold in Fort Myers is offering a glimmer of hope to an area struggling to rebuild. They read the numbers here. And Bada Boom, Bada Beam, 494 million. Lunchbox thinks there's a conspiracy here. I mean, it just seems weird that after the terrible hurricane hits, someone in that area wins, it's like, huh, they're like,
Starting point is 01:11:11 you know what? They had a bad, rough go, so they're going to go ahead and throw someone a bone and let them win the millions. Or divine. Or? Who is divine? Okay. Oh, my gosh.
Starting point is 01:11:20 Just let it go, Amy. Or just let it go. This just happens to be a ticket that was won in a disaster place, and there are often natural disasters, and there aren't many tickets, one in those areas, and eventually you're just going to have that happen. So just a coincidence? That would be that word, yes.
Starting point is 01:11:35 You don't think it's just rigged? I don't. Because if they ever catch it being rigged, then the whole system goes to S. You can't do it anymore. So it's not worth it to rig it. Temporarily, it's like a fix, and oh, it makes you feel good,
Starting point is 01:11:47 but it's not worth it because then you ruin everything. Yeah, and then I assume it was one of our listeners because we're big down there. So that's pretty cool. If they won a half a billion dollars, they probably have elevated to where they don't need to listen to us anymore. Because they're not getting up. They have their own show. It's like, look, let's be honest. We ain't the coolest, you know?
Starting point is 01:12:06 No, that's true. We hang with our own type. And if you're all fancy, you'd probably don't listen to this show. I was looking at the fancy numbers the other day in the ratings. Zero. They don't listen. No fancy people listen to us. Our people are like us.
Starting point is 01:12:18 We're proud of it. but once people get fancy, they kind of, they check out. And once you have that much money, you don't even have to listen to anything, except you just take the bills and just... What's that means? Like running through that machine where that counts it? That's all you do all day? Oh, my goodness, yes.
Starting point is 01:12:31 You can just hire us to be your full-time show. We don't have to be on a broadcast. We'll do it in front of you. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. We'll show up to your house and do it live. I like that. That'd be great. Strict parents.
Starting point is 01:12:40 Another story? Another one? Have fatter children. What? Youngsters with tough moms and dads are about four pounds heavier because they end up comfort eating because of strictness. Eddie, there's two stories against you. Being strict parents makes you more likely to have overweight kids.
Starting point is 01:12:54 Children whose parents are very strict. Average about four pounds heavier. They suggest that children who do not receive enough affection from their family or it's too strict may turn to comfort eating to fill the void. This is interesting. They're all skinny and I'm the one that gained four pounds. Like I said, good for you. It sounds like it's all flipped.
Starting point is 01:13:11 You're taking it. There are these McDonald's Happy Mill toys and on eBay they're selling for so much. there is the set of three extremely rare and open and unopened cactus plant flea market toys and the adult happy meal that's out now going for $300,000. What? Wow. There's a $25,000 sealed cactus plant flea market toy. And there's a $6,900 grimmus toy out of the packaging.
Starting point is 01:13:35 I don't know why. Mike, can you help me with this? What's the deal? Why are they going for such a crazy amount of money? It's a very popular streetwear designer and he designed these toys so everybody wants them and they're very limited edition. They're very, very limited because I'm talking about even $1,000. That's insane. Yeah, they're already gone. And who designed them? It was that cactus plant brand? He did a lot of stuff for like Kanye. Like cactus jack? Like Travis Scott?
Starting point is 01:14:01 No, different. Okay. Because those Nikes, he does the Nike, the swoosh, backward. Oh, pretty cool. You said $300,000 for a McDonald's toy. $300,000 if you can get the adult happy meal set of extremely rare and unopened cactus plant flea market. market toys. Rich people are stupid. Market watch. Well, they're not listening to us because once you get rich and fancy, you ain't here anymore. You probably elevate to NPR.
Starting point is 01:14:25 Fancy. I'm going to listen to NPR and learn. Yeah, take you learning somewhere else, but we say. All right, that's the news. Thank you. Those were Bobby's Big. Stories. The Bobby Bone Show is proud to be supported by Grand Canyon University,

Starting point is 01:18:10 I've been talking with your daughter. You want to hear what's up? Yeah. She wanted to be a pirate, but explain the costume that she wanted. The deal is every pirate costume she found online, at least for teens or adults, had a corset. And the corset goes on the outside, like a picture of a white dress with a black corset, which cinches your waist and accentuates other things. It was too adult to you.
Starting point is 01:18:33 Yeah. I just don't see the need for the corset. So I ordered the white dress, but then it was a big deal because I wouldn't order the corset. And she said, I'll pay for it. And then I had to say, okay, no, I, no, that's not the point. I don't think the corset is appropriate. And then it just, Cliff's Notes version is I'm treating her like she's a little girl and she's not. She's 15.
Starting point is 01:18:55 I got to imagine it's common for teenage girls and their mom. Probably very common, not even just Halloween time, probably on the weekends or going out with friends or, you know, even running errands sometimes. Like the shorts girls wear these days, like the even athletic shorts can be so short. and you see their butt hanging out the back and it's like, ugh. Well, I reached out to her and I was like, hey, let me find a cool pirate costume that's somewhere in the middle of what you want
Starting point is 01:19:20 and what your mom wants you to wear, which is basically a bumblebee or an opera singer or a choir singer, you know? And I said her one and she's like, I don't want that one. And I was like, no, I'll buy it for you. She goes, my mom can wear it. I'm not wearing that one.
Starting point is 01:19:33 It was a cool one. I said, okay, fine. I said, how about a Power Ranger? Oh, boy. You picked the color. She says, I feel like that's something Stevenson would do. Ooh, meaning her brother. I said, let me help you.
Starting point is 01:19:46 This was a few minutes ago. You aren't letting me help you find a good solution. It's going to have to be a compromise. Send me a picture of what you want to wear for Halloween. Show me the actual costume of something that you think I can help you with. So she sends me a picture. Sexy V-neck, long, baggy sleeve, waist, truffle. I said.
Starting point is 01:20:05 So at the link you click, sexy's in the, the thing. That's what I said. I said, you can't wear anything that says the word sexy in the title. Yeah. I said, honestly, she's not going to let you. She ain't going to cave. Find something similar without the word sexy. Like, you have to find, this is not going to end well. And I'm not to, the negotiator is not going to well. Listen, this consultant. He's trying to resign. We don't have a lot left in him. Welcome to my life. Yeah, you're finally understanding. Yeah, you thought it's going to be that easy. And I think we can still find a solution, but we'll work on it. But Thanksgiving, I mean, Halloween's coming up in 11 days.
Starting point is 01:20:38 Yeah, we're getting down to the wire. Luckily, Amazon brings it to you in like five minutes, though. I know, but some stuff is sold out. It's got to have the size. It's a whole thing. A lot of time. We won more money than we've ever won before, so I've been told by Scuba Steve. Oh, my goodness.
Starting point is 01:20:50 Yep. Now, oh, my goodness. Are you click baiting us? Probably. Well, we didn't win the jackpot. The $494 million, yeah, because that wasn't us in Fort Myers, Florida. No, that's mega million. We're doing Powerball.
Starting point is 01:21:02 So Powerball is up to $5.50 now on Friday's drawing. Stop it. Or Saturday's drawing, sorry. No one won last night. Oh my gosh. Okay. So, do we win? What's the most we ever won, $16?
Starting point is 01:21:13 So the most of our won thus far is $32. Our total winning since I took over as your lottery leader is $163. Wait, don't clap on that because that means we've lost. We've lost a lot. We shouldn't say winnings. Well, yeah. I mean, how much when we put towards it? Yes, we've lost money.
Starting point is 01:21:28 But we took those winnings and put them towards more ticket purchases. But then we lost that too. And lost that too. But we always win something to keep us in the race. Okay, go ahead. And what did we come in last night? What did we win on the ticket? Last night, we have come in with our highest amount, more than the caller that wanted to give money to lunchbox, which was $40.
Starting point is 01:21:45 This is more than that. It is $43. Okay. How much do we put in total, though? Total that was $20, $20, $60, $80, $80. We didn't lose that much. Yeah. That's when we get excited.
Starting point is 01:21:56 Yay. Eddie, it's building. I'm telling you. I understand, but it would take you hundreds of dollars to get there, and I can't, man. It's not related to the next. Oh, for me, it's the whole fund. Like I had to stop it like what $80, $100 and done.
Starting point is 01:22:12 But over like two months. I'm not saying get in. I'm just saying something's going to happen and we're going to win and you're going to be sad you're not in. You feeling it? I don't feel it often. Something's going to happen though.
Starting point is 01:22:21 Maybe not this time, maybe not the next time. Something's going to happen. Mark my words. What's that lunchbox? Another 20? You know, if you just slap a microphone with something, nobody knows what that is. That's a big bill.
Starting point is 01:22:33 It's a big bill. That's a 20. So we're going in again for another 20. $550 million, I believe. The more money we get, the better. That's right. The better our odds. The more people get in, the better our odds.
Starting point is 01:22:44 Yes, it is true. It is true. We have more numbers out there to play. Exactly. I'm in. Thank you. A listener did win a million bucks because they were listening to this show and they were motivated to play the lottery. We are not paid by the lottery, by the way, guys.
Starting point is 01:22:56 We should be. We should be. Are you kidding? Yeah. They do pay people to do commercials. They should, as much money as we're giving them, much less getting people to spend. Okay, so there's that. I've had this teeth grinding problem for the last few months where sometimes I come in and I came to open my mouth all the way.
Starting point is 01:23:12 And I'm like, you guys give me some grace if I'm like not pronouncing a word right or because sometimes I just can't open my mouth because I grind my teeth so hard when I sleep. And I wear a mouth guard so my teeth aren't completely destroyed while I sleep. But that being said, I started to have some pain in my upper left. And it wasn't so bad, but I would like breathe in and it would hurt. You know, you get that. Oh, so then I can't eat on that side. So I go to my dentist. It takes me a few days to get in.
Starting point is 01:23:36 I go and I say, hey, we checked this out. And it was one of those times, because I just had a bad situation where I had a bone that had snapped in the top part of my right side of my gums and cut through and had to go have a surgery, surgery. And I go in and he goes, okay, let's do an x-ray. He goes, oh, hey, you got to go. And I was like, what do you mean? He goes, yeah, I go have surgery.
Starting point is 01:23:55 Not here. To I endodontist? That a thing? Oh, I don't know. I never heard that. I've only heard of orthodontist. So. It's braces.
Starting point is 01:24:03 Well, that's all I've heard of. I'm not sure if that's a thing. Let me look at it. It says mouth endo. So that's got to be an endodonist. Again, it's some specialist. An endodonist is concerned with the study of treatment of the dental pulp. I have fractured a tooth up into the root.
Starting point is 01:24:25 And best case scenario is a big old root canal. Worst case scenario is they've got to pull the whole thing out and put a big fake one in there. Because it's so destroyed. Dang. Because of the grinding issue. That's what the problem. How does he help you with the grinding? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:24:39 I massage and he wouldn't give me one. Like that's where, I mean, things are going to keep cracking. If I'm going to stop grinding my teeth, I need to take about six months away from this job. Oh, it's the job that's making you grind. Oh. Huh. What? You know what I say?
Starting point is 01:24:55 If I grind, repeat. And that's what I'm doing. Yeah, exactly. It's like, I think you're taking your slogan too literal. I wake up and I cannot even open my jaws. And now luckily that Theragun Company sent me a small. There I gun for my face, and I do that on my face and it into my side of my jaw. And every morning I take my thumbs and I slam it into them as hard as I can and just grind only so I can come and open my mouth to do the show.
Starting point is 01:25:18 Dang. It's grind central. People talk about it they're on the grind. They don't know what they're talking about. No, that's different. I live it. So that's situation. So I have surgery coming up on, I can't do it.
Starting point is 01:25:29 I have a show on Saturday night, a comedy show. Oh, yeah. He's like, you should go today. I can get you an emergency. And I say, it's that big a day. deal? Well, that's what I said. Are you free tomorrow? I said, no, no, no, I can't because I have to have a show Saturday. And he said, okay, well, if you're okay, I'm okay. So I'm gonna do the show. And then on Monday, after the show, I'm gonna go have surgery. And we'll see what happens. I'll be fine Tuesday, I'm sure. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I hope. Yeah. And if it hurts my mouth, I haven't put the medicine in my butt. What does that do? Huh? Just gets it in his butt. Okay. People like it works better there.
Starting point is 01:26:06 Society told us that's anything cool, but it works better. Why not? You know what I mean? Yeah. Why not? So that's it. That's what's happening in my life right now. I have to go to an end of Donuts, which I don't even know what that is. But it's, I do know. It's a special, like deep down in the mouth specialist. My insurance company. Oh, you have met your deductible. Oh, for sure. Early. I mean, my dental, it's, the grinding has just been such a disaster for me. Okay, well, there's that. I want to play a voicemail from Tanza, who called up. us and left this. She lives in Colorado. Bobby, I was just calling to let you know that my daughter has been grinding her teeth at night as well and has been in some horrible pain. She went to the doctor and he told her that she needs to get Botox and that will help. Not real sure if that's true or not, but that's what she was
Starting point is 01:26:59 told and she is only 24 years old. So just thought I'd let you know in case it actually does help. Thank you for the call. And by the way, leave a voicemail. time, guys. 87777 Bobby. Amy mentioned this to me a few weeks back. Get Botox in your jaw. Because Botox, what does what to your muscle? It relaxes the muscle. So what it will do and why they suggest it is it will relax that area so you won't hold it tight and grind it. I did some research on it. It is something. It's a real thing. Yeah. And you can get it done in different muscles of your body if you're having medical. And it's recommended by, yes, migraines. It's a big one. People get it all. Like, it doesn't even show. It has nothing to do with youth or beauty or wrinkles or
Starting point is 01:27:36 anything, they inject you like in your hair where you can't even see it, but it gives people a lot of relief. Yeah, it's something I may look into. My teeth are just so jacked out from the month, the last six months of grinding so hard, that I'm going to get all this fixed. And then I may actually go and see what's up
Starting point is 01:27:52 and have those things shoved in my face. Is it going to make you have duck lips? Oh, dude, that'd be hilarious. That'd be hilarious. Very different. You come in, like, uh, but. It looks like one of those real housewives. I mean, It's totally different.
Starting point is 01:28:09 This is what I do to go and actually do that, like sneak it. This whole story is a backstory, like just a fake story so I can go in and come in. But I think it's something that I'm going to have to go and see if that's the deal. And I think it's okay. I know your concern was that like if someone asked you if you've ever had Botox, you're able to legit say no. But you can say, yeah, not cosmetically, but in my jaw. That's not what I would say. I would say, nope, asteric.
Starting point is 01:28:33 And I would walk away. What did you say there? Astric. And if they called me back for sure, they said, will you explain what you just said? Oh, yeah, asterisk. And you look at the bottom of the page. It says, did have Botox, but only in my jaws because of complete grinding. See, Doctor Furtails.
Starting point is 01:28:45 Yeah. And you say, just like that. Just like that. Just like that. And then I walk off again. It's like one of those things you have to do after a commercial. So I do want to mention this with our video producer, Eddie. He thinks that his neighbor may be seducing him, like tried to hit on him.
Starting point is 01:28:57 Okay, walk us through this. Yeah. Yeah, man, I'm outside watering my grass, you know? Oh, that is sexy. Yeah. What are you wearing? Shorts and almost like a tank top. Oh my God.
Starting point is 01:29:06 Like a muscle shirt. Dang. You got the hose or you got like a... The hose. Oh, the hose. You know what that? Yeah. I don't know what it means.
Starting point is 01:29:12 But guys, I'm watering the plants and then my neighbor runs out. He or she? She. Oh. And she says, Eddie, Eddie. Oh. There's a bee in my house. A big giant bee.
Starting point is 01:29:25 Can you help me get it? Oh, yeah. So how she yelled that. Yeah. Is that the exact tone? From what I remember, that's exactly how... You do that again? So you're out there.
Starting point is 01:29:34 You have water. Eddie. Eddie. there's a big big B in my house. Can you help me get it? This already got worse, the big big big. Hold on, hold on. Amy, don't want that.
Starting point is 01:29:44 What is she wearing? I don't remember. Maybe a robe. Maybe a robe. Oh, my God. I don't really remember, though. Single or married? She's single.
Starting point is 01:29:52 She's older, but she's single. You ever hear that song from Garth Brooks? I used to work for that summer. Her hands of leather. I know, but this is the problem. This is that y'all's brain immediately goes to. She was probably like, hey, Eddie. I got her.
Starting point is 01:30:05 She was a snake. I got a bee in my house. It was a bee. It was a snake. Amy, did you hear how she taught? She said, Hey,
Starting point is 01:30:11 and she was jumping up and down. Big, big, B. No, I can picture how she probably was talking, but now I'm hearing the male brain and how y'all hear things. What do you mean?
Starting point is 01:30:20 Because I think y'all's filter is different. That's how she said it. And then she called him her hero. Oh, you're such a hero. Thank you so much. I mean, I believe it.
Starting point is 01:30:29 And then she said, can I make you a drink? And he's like, no, no, I got to go. How long has she lived beside you? Well, I'm like a year If you guys have spent any time together
Starting point is 01:30:38 Like socially Like backyard barbecue No, I mean just you know Just wave to each other when you know She's like leaving I mean Hey I don't feel like Man it's it's 51 49
Starting point is 01:30:51 Yeah 51 hitting on me Not But it's close you don't know I thought it was You know I didn't think of it But after the fact You know like I was It just sounds like a lot for a B to get
Starting point is 01:31:04 somebody come into your house. Yeah. It's not a hornet's nest or a was. What if she's really scared of bees? Or if she's allergic to bees, maybe, that's a thing. I didn't get that far on the conversation. You didn't? No.
Starting point is 01:31:14 She wasn't like, I'm allergic. Yeah. Let alone me, I'm allergic. I don't want to get, I don't want my robe to get stung. I think I'll take it off. Yeah. That's good. That's good.
Starting point is 01:31:24 You're nuts. Like, Eddie, check me. I don't think she was hitting on you at all. Check me for stings. Yeah. I don't think she was hitting on you at all. Zero percent change. For a minute, I'll walk down that road with you.
Starting point is 01:31:36 Yeah, dude. Yeah, but that ain't a land that I feel like I'm going to get a place. So I think she probably just needed help with the bee. It was nice of you to go do that, though. Yeah, yeah. And I told her anytime you need me to get anything. You're a good guy. Thank you, man.
Starting point is 01:31:47 Now, if there's another bee later this week or next week and now we're talking. If there's a bee at like 1145 tonight, you get a text and it's only a bee emoji, then we should talk about it. I should probably stop wearing that muscle shirt, though, when I wanted the plan. That might be, yeah, the problem. I don't think that's the problem. That's not the problem. What do you mean?
Starting point is 01:32:08 Y'all know that's not the problem. Have you ever seen this guy in a muscle shirt? You have not. Have you seen Eddie in a muscle? Answer the question. And be honest. I am not going to shame anybody's body. I'm not asking you to that.
Starting point is 01:32:18 I'm just saying yes or no. Have you seen Eddie in a muscle shirt? No. There you go. That's it. No further questions. I'm dismissed. I just think this whole scenario is a fantasy.
Starting point is 01:32:29 No, Amy, that's not what now. It happened. I'm not fantasizing about my neighbor. her tone. That's how she said it. We have a recording of it. Eddie. Push play, Ray.
Starting point is 01:32:38 Eddie. It's a big, big. Wow, that's good audio. Yeah, man. Okay, Eddie, I don't think she was, but if she does it again, I'd be aware. All right, I'll let you guys know if she does. Keep your eyes open. I will. Trust me.
Starting point is 01:32:49 Bobby Bone Show. Bonehead. Story up the day. This story comes us from Denver, Colorado. A Lamborghini stopped at a red light when a Lamborghini pulls up next to it. And they look at each other. They start, revving their engines
Starting point is 01:33:03 take off racing get about a block down the road and they crash in front of the fire department catching fire both Lamborghinis crashed one of them caught fire right in front of the fire department just one makes the bonehead
Starting point is 01:33:17 just two makes the bonehead Hall of Fame we should start making a Bonehead Hall of Fame and if it's so boneheady we put it in the Hall of Fame we have a page built just for the Hall of Fame I say we don't start with this one No no I don't know if this is It's got to be so good that I just go Bonehead Hall of Fame.
Starting point is 01:33:34 And if you agree, we move it to the Hall of Fame. I like it. Both drivers were charged with DUI, reckless driving, and their Lamboes are both totaled. Oh, wow. That's not Hall of Fame, though. No, and if the insurance hears about this story on this show, it's going to be tough. It's going to be tough to get their lambos back. All right, that's it.
Starting point is 01:33:50 I'm Lunchbox. That's your Bonehead Story of the Day. Up today, a new episode of The Bobbycast, where I sat with Rita Wilson, who was acted in so many big movies and TV shows. And then also she's a really great singer too. She's in Nashville a lot writing and performing. And I brought up to her the fact that Morgan saw her and her husband Tom Hanks at CMA Festival just sitting in normal seats. And I was like, was that, it was you guys. But why would you be sitting with all the normal folks? And this is what she said.
Starting point is 01:34:18 We've done that and it's great. But if you really want to get an experience of being like at the show, you've got to be at the show. She was shocked. She's like she just came across you guys sitting with the people. Listen, don't forget. I was a ticket taker at a car. concert venue. I used to sit on the steps and watch the concerts. That's how you get the show. You just walk up to Tom Hanks in a venue. That's crazy. Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson, it was a really,
Starting point is 01:34:42 really fantastic interview. You know, she talked about her first acting role ever because she was in school and it was on the Brady bunch and it was huge at the time.
