Starting point is 00:03:03 Morning, studio. Morning. I thought we'd start off with. Time March is on this morning. It's just us getting older, but remember when we were younger and someone would fall and we'd all laugh. We'd like, ah, you fell. Yeah. That was funny.
Starting point is 00:03:20 We're playing basketball last weekend, and Eddie took a spill. I can't stop thinking about it, actually. Eddie wiped out, and I would think 10 years ago, five years ago, would be like, hilarious. You did not laugh. Eddie fell down. But, yeah, and there were a lot of guys with him. us and guys are dumb and juvenile nobody laughed when Eddie went down everyone kind of went oh and somebody yelled oh no yeah and then everybody made sure he was okay
Starting point is 00:03:47 so I've been thinking about this because it was like slow motion when Eddie fell and there's no grace in the fall and but I think time marches on because the older you get when you fall worse things can happen to you in that fall more permanent damage what happened man you know it's one of those things where my mind saw my body doing something but my body didn't catch up. I was going for the ball and my knees buckled. My knees buckled and I made a barrel roll. Almost fell off the whole court.
Starting point is 00:04:14 Oh, wow. And then you're right. All I heard was, oh, no, no, no, you okay? You okay? I'm fine, boys. I'm 43. It's fine. Yeah, it was a whole court because it's a weird court where off the edge it just drops.
Starting point is 00:04:25 Oh. And the benches where the players really sit her down below the ground. So Eddie could have died. I could have. Yeah, I've been thinking about that. So I'm replaying in my head a little bit. And thank you for not laughing. That was very nice to you.
Starting point is 00:04:35 No, I was scared. And then it took me a few days to realize, oh, I was scared because I thought Eddie might die. Yes. So like a shift has happened. Like in the eight, like something, all of y'all. Everything happened to her. You too. You're in this too, Amy.
Starting point is 00:04:48 I mean, if you were to fall right now, we would all go, oh, my gosh, Amy, are you okay? Or when you walk into a wall, which you still do sometimes. Like, we're like, oh, are you okay? And then you're like, yeah, I'm fine. Or when you hit your head on something. You know? Yeah, I know. It's a thing.
Starting point is 00:05:00 It is a thing. So that's my time marches on. I'm going to get some deep stuff this morning. I got Eddie falling. But luckily nobody really, really got hurt. No. Like 13 of us. I told you one guy got hit in the eye pretty hard, but that's okay.
Starting point is 00:05:16 That could happen at any age. That's not an ACL tear or a fall that breaks bones. Y'all are still all sore, though, right? I'm not. Oh, I am. The only thing I had really were a couple blisters on my feet because I played in track shoes. Oh, yeah. But I forgot.
Starting point is 00:05:30 You trained daily for a ride. Thank you. I trained. I know. Four times a week. For this. I never left the court full court two hours because all my training. I trained for this.
Starting point is 00:05:41 Let's open up the mailbag. You send an email and we read it on the air. It's something we call Bobby's Mailbag. Yeah. Hello, Bobby Bones. The guy that I'm newly dating invited me to stay at his house for the first time. But I walked away with some concerns. First thing, it was really cold and he didn't want to turn the heat.
Starting point is 00:06:03 on so he brought me a towel to use from his bathroom because he didn't have a single blanket in the house second thing he likes to read before bed and asked if I minded of course I said no but get this he whispers to himself while he reads it's kind of like he's reading out loud to himself but very very quietly and then third thing when he was finished reading he couldn't find his bookmark so he took the sock off his foot and used it to mark his page that's legit A bookmarker. That's legit. Has he not heard of doing the dog ear thing to mark the pages on?
Starting point is 00:06:37 I am less attracted to him after this night, and I'm not sure if these are silly things to get annoyed over. I just feel like they speak volumes about what's to come if I continue dating him. Would love your thoughts, and if your attraction level would go down after these things as well. Thank you, signed M.B. Well, I don't think that this is a fundamental reason to not date. I don't hear or see anything here that's like, well, this doesn't match so we can't go on. There are some things that you can fix. And I'm not a big fix-a-person type thing unless it's a small thing like this.
Starting point is 00:07:09 I've been fixed in a few ways. Now, fundamentally, Caitlin hasn't changed anything about me, but there are some really annoying things that I would do. I used to just wear a clothes and get in the bed. And she was like, you've had those clothes on. And that's gross to her. Yeah. She's like, you've been out all. I don't do that.
Starting point is 00:07:25 That's a small thing that she fixed. She feels like she feels like it's bringing germs into the bed. So that was a fix. I would sometimes, you know, just have one sheet down or if the sheets, I didn't finish all the sheets because I wash my sheets all the time. I used to. I would put a couple towels down and just lay on them and then put the comforter over me. Now we have multiple sets to make sure we always are cut. These are little gross habits she fixed of mind of being a single guy for my whole life.
Starting point is 00:07:50 You wash your feet now before you get in the bed. Yeah, I just wash my feet all the time now. It's so stupid. But I get it. So, with all that being said, if you don't like him, you don't like them. But let's go through this one by one. The heat, the heat's not on. Okay, it sounds to me like he's trying to save money and he's a single guy and doesn't have an extra blanket.
Starting point is 00:08:08 Get it. As soon as he's not a single guy and he's not trying to, or he was raised. A lot of people are raised. You don't turn the air conditioner on in the house at all. That's right. Until some specific day. So that could be his raisin that makes him act like that. The second thing, he likes to read before bed.
Starting point is 00:08:24 Okay, you're just trying to be annoyed. Yes, that could be something that's a thing. annoying. But he was reading out loud. No, he was whispering. That's okay. Yes, it's annoying, but you could be like, yo, bro, put headphones on. If you really liked him, this would not be a deal breaker. Okay. Annoying and weird. But it's not a deal breaker. You could also fix that. Like, hey, would you mind not reading? I'm right here. Hey, I'm trying to read two. And when you read that, I can't stay on the page. That's an easy fix. And then finally, the sock. The sock. Come on. I love it. I love it.
Starting point is 00:08:52 That's funny. Great inventions are discovered. But also, that's easy. You can just teach him to fold. No, he may not want to, though. It's also gross. He just needs to learn, because he doesn't have anybody living with him to tell him that's gross. Yeah. of those things, you could gift him a blanket and gift him a bookmark. Done. And gift him the gift of love. Oh, I love that one. And or maybe one day you're like, hey, could you read that a little louder? And it's like, he's reading to you. If, for some reason, you're like, you know, he just doesn't want to have kids and I do. Okay, that's a reason maybe you don't continue on. Unless, of course, you're looking for reasons.
Starting point is 00:09:29 Which it sounds like what she's doing. That's it. If you're looking for reasons. Then sure. Here's the reason. We're giving you the final reason to break up with them. But if everything's great except that, that's not enough to break it up. It's annoying. These aren't red flags by any means.
Starting point is 00:09:42 They are slightly yellow flags. Slightly yellow is very different. Yes. If he can't adapt to being around someone and not acting like a caveman, it gets a bit more yellow. But right now, just slightly yellow. Man, if they stay together and get married. These are the things that she's going to love about him. No, they'll drive even more crazy once she doesn't change.
Starting point is 00:10:01 All right, by the way, you can email us at any time. Morgan, what is the email address? Mailbag at bobbybones.com. We've got your email and we've read it on the air. Now it's about to close Bobby's mailbag. Yeah. Introducing the first ever Hyundai Ionic 5. This thing has all the tech you would ever want.
Starting point is 00:10:21 It's fully electric inside and out. Your journey at its most evolved. The Hyundai Ionic 5, with extremely limited availability. Available in select states only. Contact your Hyundai dealer for availability details. All right, it's time for Amy versus Lunchbox. Amy, what popular Microsoft gaming system recently celebrated its 20th anniversary?
Starting point is 00:10:42 Ooh, this I know. Xbox. How do you know that? Xbox is Microsoft. That's all I know. I just know. I know it in my brain somewhere. That's correct.
Starting point is 00:10:51 Good job, Amy. So these are all questions that Lunchbox will know the answer to. or we think he will, and then we'll ask lunchbox questions that you'll know the answers to. Right. Next up, what beer is known as the champagne of beers? What? What beer's brand is known?
Starting point is 00:11:08 It's got to be like, at the champagne? It's got to be like expensive beer. I've never heard that slogan before in my life. Let me say it again. Champagne of beers. So it can't be one of the bud lights or the naughty lights or the coolers lights because that's like cheap. Champaign-Pin.
Starting point is 00:11:25 Maybe. all the crappy ones. Okay. I have not heard this saying before. Ooh, Corona. No, that's like something on a beach. Champagne of beers. Heineken.
Starting point is 00:11:39 Incorrect. I don't know. Lunchbox, what's your favorite beer? We'll go on Miller Light or Bud Light. Fine. Great. What's the champagne of beers, though? Amstel Light.
Starting point is 00:11:50 Incorrect. I've never heard that slogan in my life. Do you know it? Easy. Miller High Life. That's right. It's kind of sarcastic because it's really not that good. Oh, so.
Starting point is 00:11:57 It is a cheap year. Oh, high life? Oh, yeah, that's what high school. Well, I thought high life meant like extra, like extra special. It's pretty cheap, man. The champagne of beers is Miller High Life. Wow, I'm impressed you knew that. I never heard that in my life.
Starting point is 00:12:12 Amy, citizen, omega, longines are all manufacturers of what common accessory. Watches. Correct. Yeah. Wow. Amy got two. Lunchbox got zero steals. Lunchbox?
Starting point is 00:12:30 Which male pop star chose to rock a way too big suit and hot pink beanie at the Grammys this past Sunday night? That was Justin Bieber. That is correct. Look like he read it at his dad's closet. Fun fact, until lunchbox was probably 27, he wore his dad's suit to anywhere we needed a suit.
Starting point is 00:12:50 Maybe older than 27. Well, that's the last time I remember, because he would show up and it would be too big. His oversized situation. And he would say, well, this is my dad suit. I don't have one. And then we're like, but you're starting to make it now.
Starting point is 00:13:02 Like, you get a good paycheck. Yeah. Yeah. Hey, so I rolled. 50 Shades of Gray started out as fan fiction based on which popular movie series. So the book, the series, 50 Shades of Gray. It was written as fan fiction about a different series.
Starting point is 00:13:23 Huh? I don't know. Because I'm confused. So you're saying the book. came from a movie and then the book turned into a movie. Yeah, basically. I'm going to give you an example of how this works. So let's say Superman exists. The movie Superman, Man of Steel. Okay.
Starting point is 00:13:38 And someone, a fan gets on the internet and writes, well, this is Superman's opportunity to play in the major leagues. And they chronicle a story they made up about Superman trying to make the major leagues. And it's like he makes AAA ball, gets sent back. It's a whole story. It's a whole book series. But really, it was based on the character from Superman. Got it. So do you know 50 shades of gray that came from what? Yeah, Twilight.
Starting point is 00:14:00 Correct. Are you serious? Really? I just, I have no idea. That is an absolute guess. Hey, sure it is. I have no idea. I don't even know.
Starting point is 00:14:09 Wow, I didn't know you were into that. I love those movies. He was like, okay, he stalled enough. What? That is unbelievable. Hopefully this will be believable. Your acting is getting a little better. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:22 Yeah. Good job. Yeah. That's a lot of pain. Oh, wow. Yeah. 300 a month. That is crazy. Yeah, you can
Starting point is 00:14:30 stop now. Okay, we're the most random guess. Now this is called overacting. I am in shock. Now he's crying. Okay, buddy, we get it. Last one. Whatever. We get it. It all comes to this final question. If you get it, you win. That's fine. Let's go.
Starting point is 00:14:46 If you miss it, you lose because Amy will steal probably. Here we go. Oh, Amy knows this one, huh? Plopping is a semi-new word associated with what type of hair. plopping is a semi-new word that's been used now
Starting point is 00:15:05 not super new but kind of new associated with what type of hair like I need to tell you a hairstyle or you want to be... That's the question. Plopping is associated with what type of hair? Curly hair. Correct. Wow! Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh!
Starting point is 00:15:24 That's pretty good. That's pretty good. That's pretty good. You're getting better. You're getting better. You guys have got to be. kidding me. Hey, send my regards to your acting coach. This, that is so bananas. Like, I mean, that is bananas. Like, you know, you just guess sometimes when things happen. That is bananas.
Starting point is 00:15:43 And C. B, A, N-A-N-A-N-A-S. Oh, my. That's unreal. That is unreal. All right, let's do it again. Take it from the top. Let's watch.
Starting point is 00:15:51 All right, popping. No, guys, I am dead serious. I've never heard that turn in my life. You did Twy-I. I didn't know anything. You went three for three. He nailed all of them. And it's like, wow.
Starting point is 00:16:01 Yeah. Wow. I mean, that is, right, you might as well hit it. You might as well hit it. Wow. Okay. And they stay there. And they stay there.
Starting point is 00:16:24 Good job, buddy. That's so funny. That's just, that's nuts. It's bananas and nuts. Yeah, muffins. Ooh, it's a Sunday. ville and Hollywood. Morgan number two's 30 second skinny. Marin Morris will be on the TV show Beat Bobby Flay tonight. You can watch her episode on Food Network
Starting point is 00:16:48 at 9 8 p.m. Central. Dirk Smiley shared how his song, Bears on Me, with Hardy and Breeland, was almost an actual thing for fans at his concerts. I just love the idea of that because that's kind of what I thought would be fun to do for my fans. You know, you get a ticket to the show and you also get a free beer coupon. You know, I was going to pay for that out of my pocket. So I was like, this is such a great song I deal. Carriena Wood shared why she prefers performing on tour rather than live TV. I feel like when I'm in my live show, if I mess up, I have like two hours to make up for it. But whenever you're doing live television, it's like you get, you know, one shot to just give it your all and do your best.
Starting point is 00:17:28 I'm Morgan number two. That's your skinny. It's time for the good news. With Amy. Tell me something good. So there's this girl, Victoria. Maria Brinker, she started singing at age two. She's now 10 and has been named the world's youngest opera singer by Guinness World Records,
Starting point is 00:17:47 and she lives in Pennsylvania. People that say they sing at age two, I just don't believe them. I would work on American Idol, and they'd be like, yeah, man, six months, I was letting a rip. I was like, no, you're crying. Well, my three-year-old, he sings all the time, and I guess he started when he was two. Sings or like, gong, dong, gong. Like that. Yeah, that's my point.
Starting point is 00:18:04 That doesn't count. I don't think so. I think you need to have a song. sing. Yeah. But great. Well, she's been singing and practicing
Starting point is 00:18:11 since two. She dedicates 45 minutes to an hour every day. And this is the sweet part. She said, my mom taught me how to sing and helps me believe that I can do anything.
Starting point is 00:18:20 So this is a way for lunchbox to go viral. Well, as old as kid. I mean. He ain't 10. He's maybe an hour for singing real quick. He does sing.
Starting point is 00:18:28 He sings. Let it go. Let it go. Would you be mad if he went viral then? Yes. Oh, you would. You don't want him to be viral. But if it brought attention
Starting point is 00:18:37 to me as the parent, But it's not. The parent only got one little mention at the end of the article. Yeah, and it just says my mom. The real star here is Victory Brinker. So if you knew, they said, okay, your son's going to be wildly famous and viral for six months, but you're not getting a single mention. Would you let him? No. Wow. Because it could be unhealthy for him? Yeah, unhealthy for him. And why would I not want some of the attention?
Starting point is 00:19:01 That's probably that one. That's the main one. Yeah. Because I deserve the spotlight. I put him in that position. Do you feel like the mom here should get more of shine? Absolutely. How would that kid know how to do that? And a kid wouldn't be here without the mom. Well, none of us would be here without the mom's. Yep.
Starting point is 00:19:15 That's a great story. Good for that. Probably one of our great opera, although I know nothing about opera. But that is a great story. That's what it's all about. That was Tell Me Something Good. And this is from the New York Post, and I normally wouldn't read a story like this, but Lunchbox has a theory that he's been using for years.
Starting point is 00:19:32 So let me tell you the story. This guy, Sean 38, is charged with automobile homicide after he mowed down his 29. nine-year-old wife at a parking garage at the Salt Lake City Airport. So, and it goes through suspected motive on and on. But Lunchbox has a theory that you never know who you're sleeping next to. You think you know, but you have no idea. This is husband and wife coming back from vacation. They get to the parking garage and he's like, I can't do it.
Starting point is 00:20:02 Like, I had one last vacation with her and it's just, I mean, and he mows her down with the car. So they went on vacation and she thinks, oh, we had such a great time. And in his head, he's thinking, I had the worst time in my life. And so you have no idea who you are sleeping next to. Like, Eddie, your wife, you think, you know her, but you have no idea. Could she wake up and start stabbing him? Yes. No, I would have an idea.
Starting point is 00:20:25 No, you wouldn't. You wouldn't. When you don't snap. But if you don't do anything to make them snap, then you have an idea. I mean, they just got back from vacation. But we don't know what happened on vacation. Maybe she had an idea. He's just said this.
Starting point is 00:20:37 for 15 years, that no matter how close you are to somebody, in their mind they'd be plotting to murder you. No matter how good it is, how bad it is, they could be working on a whole plan. But does anybody in here think that their spouse's potentially capable of this? No one thinks that.
Starting point is 00:20:53 But you have no idea who they really are. Do you think your wife could kill you? Yes. Hey, see? I think about her all the time. Tell me more. Listen, she watches all these snapped and date lines and all it is is like, oh, we're such happy couple and then boom next day murdered oh you think you need to do something though to make
Starting point is 00:21:12 her snap or a long many years of neglecting her well i don't about neglecting her but i'm just saying something happens where the next day it's like you know what i'm tired of this guy maybe there's a tornado i'm just gonna hypothetical maybe there's a tornado and she's scared to death like she doesn't want anyone to leave her side okay tell me more because a tornado is hypothetical been through your neighborhood and destroyed houses near you so she still has some you know PTSD related to that yeah and then I don't know her husband um I don't know let's call him uh dinner dinner dinner square um okay dinner square says I'm gonna leave you and go to a comedy show oh yeah hypothetically Jim Gaffin oh Tim Gaffkin just to come up with the name yeah would you think maybe that
Starting point is 00:21:56 would lead her to maybe go to murdering you maybe yeah that's what I'm saying you have no idea it seems like oh we're a lovey-dovey we're the perfect couple and then One day you're gone. But I would say most of these aren't lovey-dovey perfect couple. No one feels that way. Okay, but by his logic, he could also snap and kill her. Could you? Yes.
Starting point is 00:22:14 Yes. That's what I'm saying. You have no idea who is sleeping next to you. But there's a difference in you have no idea who sleeping next to you and you have no idea what humans are capable of if they have so much pressure on them. Because at the same time, you're saying you have no idea who you are too. Because you can snap and kill her. Do you know who you are?
Starting point is 00:22:29 I do. Yeah. Could you? Now that you say that, I couldn't. I wouldn't kill it. Exactly. But are you just saying that now? Because we're starting to be on to who you really are.
Starting point is 00:22:38 No, no, I don't have that kind of ill will. I'm just kind of like, all right, whatever. So could you, I'm going to ask you one more time. Could your wife, as you slept tonight, murder you? Yes. Okay. There you have it. Don't you think your wife could?
Starting point is 00:22:53 You don't want to think it. It's terrible. Yeah, I don't want to think of you. You don't want to think it. You don't want to think it. You don't want to think it. But in reality, she could. I mean, I guess at any given moment, any one of us, you could kill someone.
Starting point is 00:23:03 of us. Lunchbox says again, you never know who's sleeping next to you. You think you know, but you have no idea. I think he stole that from somewhere? No, he did not. No, I.
Starting point is 00:23:14 No, he did not. I came up with that. Okay. Well, I hope everybody feels better about their life. Wow. And their marriages. Look over at the person next to you that you think you love, but they may actually.
Starting point is 00:23:24 How? Be the one that's out to kill you. Because you think you know, but you have no idea. But isn't that to catch the tag to like real world or something? No. No, no. What is it? MTV Diaries, got it.
Starting point is 00:23:34 What is that? Yeah, the artist would go. You think you know you have no idea. Yeah, like they would do the artist. I don't know that show. But didn't real world say something? No, it says when people stop being polite and start getting real. It is MTV Diary.
Starting point is 00:23:46 That was our catch line. You think you know, you have no idea. I don't know what that show is. But you watch MTV all the time. Yeah, but I've never heard that show. You'd be in sued right now. I never stole it. I've never heard Tom Petty Freefall in, but it's not just like it.
Starting point is 00:23:58 No. Okay. No. All right. So, lunchbox, thank you for your theory. Thank you. and I'm sorry for this woman. Yeah, absolutely.
Starting point is 00:24:05 And you could be sorry for any one of us in the morning. I could. Tomorrow morning even. Yep. And if it happens, I'll visit your grave and say, I told you. Well, that's not what I want you to say, but thank you. Starting point is 00:28:00 Tom Petty, Into the Great Wide Open. Into the Great Wide Open Eddie waited till he finished high school And I listen and I'm like That's so cool that it uses my name Eddie in it And that's why I love the song Let me hear it again, just to the Eddie part Eddie waited till he finished high school
Starting point is 00:28:18 Do you guys know Into the Great White Open? Yes Yeah Got a tattoo Amy Is it Amy
Starting point is 00:28:28 What you want to do Yeah that's a good Amy, what you want to do. Yeah, that's a good one. Who sings this? Pure Prairie League. Oh, struggle. Big man.
Starting point is 00:28:40 Was that an easy one for you? The song? Like picking it? Yeah, I mean, are there other ones that you... Yeah, I love. I bet Amy's back in Austin. Blake? Working at LaZona Rosa Cafe.
Starting point is 00:28:53 Yeah. No, I don't... That's not Blake. Blake is, if you're calling... That's just Austin. Yeah, who sings Amy back in Austin? That was a jam, Amy. Little Texas.
Starting point is 00:29:03 Little Texas. Yes. Okay. Lunchbox, I'm curious about yours. Well, see, here's the thing. Finding lunchbox in a song, I couldn't really find it. So I just went one with my nickname in it. And so this is what I picked.
Starting point is 00:29:18 Big Pimp. Big Pimp. Okay. Not your nickname. Not a single person's ever called you that. Yeah. You guys didn't know me in my Big Pimp when I was called Big Pimp. We actually...
Starting point is 00:29:29 Okay, I'm torn between two. So the first one is... is Hootie and the Blowfish. I only want to be with you. Yeah? There's a line that goes, Ain't Bobby so cool. Oh, right.
Starting point is 00:29:40 So here you go. I forgot about that. I never knew that. It was Bobby. And as a kid, I was like, that's so cool. They do that. And so I didn't know who it was, but I texted Darius. And I was like, hey, who's, like, two weeks ago?
Starting point is 00:29:55 I was like, who's Bobby in this song? And he goes, Bob Dylan. When they wrote it. Because you kind of thought it could have been you? Well, it's a little bit young. But I was like, hey, who knows? The other one is Because I'm going to be somebody
Starting point is 00:30:10 Travis Tritt Oh yeah One of these days I'm gonna break these There's a line that goes Bobby played his guitar On the hardest side of town Bobby played his guitar
Starting point is 00:30:19 On the hardest side of town That's good That's really good Where it's hard for poor To find the mom So it's probably that one Because that one is a little more Reflective of
Starting point is 00:30:35 Also My Life I didn't play play guitar in the poor part of town, but I live there. And I felt like that, like, I'm going to be somebody someday. What do you think? Which one? Oh, uh-huh. Because the hooty one's good, too. I know, real good.
Starting point is 00:30:46 They're both good. You got to pick one. Uh, hooty. Eddie? I'm going to go with Travis Tripp because now we know it's Bob Dylan. Definitely not you. The first one could be, I mean, it could be you. I was also like nine.
Starting point is 00:30:56 Neither are him. It's obviously the hard part of town, how you grew up and how you had dreams to make it somewhere, so it's obviously that one. Okay, so I'm going to go with Travis Trit. I'm going to be somebody. There you go. This is before he blocked me on Twitter. Oh, yeah, way before.
Starting point is 00:31:10 Twitter didn't exist yet. Now change it? Morgan, do you have a song that has your name in it? Yeah, I do. It's two pinocaladas by Garth Brooks. Let me hear the Morgan part. Let's set the sale with Captain Morgan. Okay.
Starting point is 00:31:24 Let me tell you why. Okay. Let me tell you why. So I, for the longest time, for my entire life, told people I was named after Captain Morgan. Right? I fully believed it. I thought that was true. until like two years ago my parents were like you just made up that story along the line and we just like you kept telling it but it's not true that's not who you're named after
Starting point is 00:31:43 a rum and that is why she likes alcohol yeah makes alcohol yeah makes sense okay well that's a fun little segment here's amy's pile of stories so this is a girl in college and she's being harassed by three male classmates She had evidence on her phone of messages and photos that were totally inappropriate that they would not stop sending her. Well, she submitted it to the school and they were just basically like given a warning. And she thought, how in the world? No, this is more needs to be done. So she tracked down these three guys, parents on Facebook.
Starting point is 00:32:26 That'll do it. The mom specifically. And she sent the screenshots of what the boys had been sending her to all three moms. I'm assuming the boys were sending like their body parts. Yeah. Well, when Scuba caught his ex-wife cheating on him, if this is, stop me if I'm incorrect, you had evidence and you sent it to her father. Yes, I did via email. Yeah, had images of her and lingerie that she was using on a cheating website called Ashley Madison.
Starting point is 00:32:53 So you went to her, I mean, that's the way to go. Not really. These are 18-year-old boys. That's okay. I was like 23. Yeah. The point is you went to the parent, like the most wholesome, the thing that you feel the most safe around, and all of a sudden they see your chajas?
Starting point is 00:33:10 They're not going to be happy about that. Yeah, exactly. I know as to go to his husband. So anyway, she just said that some of her friends are like, wow, yes, go you, get the moms. Because, of course, the moms are upset and now the boys get in trouble. But then other people are like, whoa, that's a little too far. I thought too far. That's too far.
Starting point is 00:33:28 That's too far. That's too far. You're just a girl that doesn't want it. All right. So, speaking of things being online, Selena Gomez recently shared that she hasn't been on the internet in four and a half years. Which is crazy because she has over 65 million followers. I don't believe it.
Starting point is 00:33:45 I believe this is like somebody who goes, I don't ever tweet or I don't have a phone. No, you do. Somebody next to you has it. Well, that's just her Twitter account. On Insta, she has 309 million. I don't believe this in any way whatsoever. She said it to Good Morning America.
Starting point is 00:34:00 Like under oath. Oh, no. If she said it, okay. And she was under oath. Yeah. And just quickly, a shout out to Morgan Wallen because he's giving back to his neighbors in Tennessee. Wildfires burned over 3,000 acres near the Great Smoky Mountains. And just wanted to make sure he got recognized for that. All right. There you go. I'm Amy. That's my pile. That was Amy's pile of stories.

Starting point is 00:35:38 With lunchbox. Stay home there's something good. Officer Sterling, Canlan, and Carlos Corins were on patrol when they met Rose, a 75-year-old woman living on the streets. And let's just say it wasn't going well. Her health was bad. She looked real feeble and weak, and they were like, we got to do something. something. So they got in touch with a shelter, got her in there, got her health up, got her
Starting point is 00:36:02 healthy. Then they tracked down her son, who she had lost touch with 30 years ago. And now she's back living with her son. Son probably didn't even know where she was. It had no idea. Really cool. Wow, that's a great story. That is what it's all about. That was tell me something good. All right, let's go and do the investigative corny where normally you hear the morning corny this time. But we have 90 seconds to figure this one out. It's me, Eddie, unless you. Box. Amy, ready? Ready? Ready.
Starting point is 00:36:30 All right, ready? Let's go. The morning corny. Why did the bank robbers call their travel agent? Okay, 90 seconds on the clock. Go. They needed to get away. Probably.
Starting point is 00:36:45 That's got to be it. Right? Yeah, like, what's it? Want to get away. That's Southwest. They needed a get away. They needed to get away. Is that too easy?
Starting point is 00:36:56 That would be the easiest one. did we've ever done it may be too easy why did the bank robbers call a travel agent coupons vacation vacation um R&R
Starting point is 00:37:11 what did travel agent it's that this has to be it I can't think of anything else it's like what's one plus one too like this is the easiest one okay we're just going to go with that okay smarty pants you don't always get it so maybe sometimes I have to give you easy ones
Starting point is 00:37:25 wait did we get it we're talking it through here Well, maybe you got it. Oh, okay. We'll go with it. All right, hit it, Ray. A morning corny. Why did the bank robber call their travel agent? Go ahead, lunchbox.
Starting point is 00:37:40 They needed a getaway. Yeah. Okay, there it is, yeah. We got it. Do you want to do the Yelp? Not really. I don't know. I can do another one.
Starting point is 00:37:52 Okay, give us another one. Good gosh. Why did the jockey go to the dentist? Why did the jockey go to the dentist? Okay, horse. Horse. Molar. Cavity, root canal.
Starting point is 00:38:02 Oh, different kind of teeth. Incisor. Why did the horse jockey race? Horse jockey. Yeah, why the jockey. Stallion. Go to the dentist.
Starting point is 00:38:14 Crown. Ah, triple crown. That's good. That's a good one. Trying to get a triple crown. Yeah. Yeah. Right?
Starting point is 00:38:22 Yeah. How would you say it? To get a triple crown. To get a triple crown. Boys, you guys nailed it today. There's no chance we missed. though. What a roll, boys.
Starting point is 00:38:30 Come on. Hit it, Ray. The morning corny. Why did the jockey go to the dentist? To get a triple crown. Yeah. Why do you sound so disappointed when we get him right? Because normally I answer it, but he's having y'all answer it.
Starting point is 00:38:49 Yeah. I don't know what to say. Let's go. Let's go. Clear eyes. Full hearts can't lose. It can be dangerously easy to steal your identity during tax season. LifeLock by Norton makes it easy to help protect yourself.

Bridgerton is setting records on Netflix. Everybody's watching it, but none of us are watching. Nah. No. That shows you how a show can be so popular, but still, not everybody's watching it. And so in the past, we spun the will,
Starting point is 00:39:26 and Ray had to watch an entire season of Bridgerton. Ray, you like it? It was fine. But you didn't start season two. No, absolutely not. You don't have an interest. No. It's not that on the wheel.
Starting point is 00:39:38 Oh, good. Yeah, because I have the wheel here, which I'll spin, but it's related to that. So it was a reveal by Netflix that anime is just crushing on Netflix. I don't watch anime. I don't know much about it. I don't know much about the culture. Amy, your daughter loves anime. Oh, yeah, she's a huge anime fan.
Starting point is 00:39:57 Which is Japanese cartoons? I guess so. Like, Pokemon. Is that anime? Okay, so that's what I think of when I think of anime. Pokemon. Animation, mm-hmm. Not just animation.
Starting point is 00:40:08 Japanese animation. Okay, good. So, has anyone watched anime? No. Yes. As a fan? No. No.
Starting point is 00:40:15 Do you like it? I'm forced to watch it with my daughter. And no, I don't understand it at all. So Netflix says, over half of their subscribers globally watch anime. We don't, so it's time for a little culture addition to the show. I'm going to spin the wheel. The loser has to watch three episodes of an anime show and report back. Oh, my goodness.
Starting point is 00:40:34 Episodes are 23 minutes, so... It's like an hour. It's an hour of anime. So, and you're going to watch a show called Naruto, which has the highest review on Rotten Tomatoes. Okay? Okay. Naruto.
Starting point is 00:40:49 Don't need to know how to spell it yet, because I'm not writing it down, because I don't want it to go landing on me. I'm not going to... What does Amy call it? Manifest it. Make it happen. So I'm not going to ask you what the name is again. I'm just going to let you spin that wheel.
Starting point is 00:41:06 Wait, how do you spell it? Naruto N-A-R-U-T-O. So I'm going to spin it. The first person it lands on is off the wheel. Oh, no. I hate this one. And then the second person has to take it. Oh.
Starting point is 00:41:19 It has to do it. So the first one eliminates somebody. Come on me. The first, let's spin the wheel and the loser has to watch three hours. Watch three episodes of anime. Here we go, let's spin that wheel. There it is. There we go, and I'm off the wheel. Wow, right next to me. Oh, what do you know? Looks like I'm not watching any anime. All right, take that magnet all. Let me peel that. You think there's a magnet on the wheel?
Starting point is 00:41:46 I mean, that was convenient. Lunchbox, you might like it. You might like it. I know. You got her there in lunchbox. Wow, that's a good coming on, buddy. No, I mean, I've watched it. Like, my brother loves it. Your brother loves it. All right, here we go. Whoever it lands on now. I mean, is it convenient to buy it? Oh, whoever it lands on first and then had to watch it. Boom. Is it convenient for me?
Starting point is 00:42:08 Yes, absolutely. It was the greatest thing I've ever done, study? My maybe. Ready. Ready. Let's spin that wheel. Everybody by me. No, not a rule rule for me.
Starting point is 00:42:24 Okay. Okay. Amen. Amen. You lost. Huh? I thought it was. No.
Starting point is 00:42:31 No. No. I thought that that was we were doing all elimination. No. Amy pumped, she was like, yes. Yes. You lost. Okay.
Starting point is 00:42:40 So you're going to, you have a week to watch Naruto and pass a quiz. My daughter's going to love this. It's bonding, well, totally. I see it as an opportunity to have some quality time with Stashear. No, you lost. And if you like it. I won't. And you recommend it.
Starting point is 00:42:56 I already know I won't. We'll make the guys watch it. No, no, no, no, no. It ends here, bones. All right, so we have a week. So by next Thursday, give us the report, okay? Let's go talk to Spring, who is on the phone right now. Spring, thank you for calling the show.
Starting point is 00:43:12 What can I help you with? Good morning. My boys arrived with me this morning, and they were just dying because you were calling it Naruto, and it's pronounced Naruto. It's Noratow! Sorry, buddy. Naurito. Well, here, thank you.
Starting point is 00:43:30 you for correcting me. I was just getting hammered on Twitter, too. It wasn't done on purpose. I've never heard of Naruto, and you should never make fun of somebody who mispronounces something. And here's why, because it means they've only read it and not heard it. And that's not just for this, because yes, I'm an idiot. Never heard of Naruto. And thank you for correcting me, because I was just going to get this a lot. But if someone's mispronouncing a word, not this one, you're like, oh, I can't believe they're not to say that. It's because they've only read it. They probably read it in a book or something trying to learn or a magazine article. You know, when I've read and I've heard actually a lot that I still can't say,
Starting point is 00:44:08 recognizance. You did it. That's it. When are you using that in a sense? Who are you talking to? If we talk about someone leaving jail or trial or something on their own recognizance. You didn't do it well that time. Recognizance.
Starting point is 00:44:22 Maybe just like a tongue thing more than it is a pronunciation. I know. Every time, if I go across something where I have to say that, because oddly I do, I just kind of, I'm like, oh, they released themselves. Can I ask you a question? On their own? Nobody can hear us anymore. What?
Starting point is 00:44:35 We're a commercial now. Okay. Are you a spy? Because I'm reading things about, because you're wanting to say the word recognizance all the time. Actually, what I do say is their own recognizance. And then that's not right. Yeah, that's not right.
Starting point is 00:44:48 Yeah. Anyway, hey, thank you. Naruto. Now I sound Italian. That's that. No. Thank you, Spring. And tell your boys.
Starting point is 00:44:54 I say hello and appreciate them. Hey, they love it so much. They're listening. Thank you, y'all. All right, see you. We like making fun of you. I don't know what she said. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:45:04 Ruto. He said, sorry for making fun of you. Oh, no, no. It's okay. I'm glad they did because I needed to hear how it was said. Next segment. Oh, no, they hung up. Okay, next segment.
Starting point is 00:45:15 Something I'm dealing with at home that I never expected to happen and is really annoying. That's one. And then two, Lunchbox did something last night with the doll. And we're not going to go full update on the doll next segment, but Lunchbox did something with the doll. that one, kind of cheating, but two, jeopardize somebody else. Okay. So we'll talk about that part of in the next segment.

Starting point is 00:49:18 and I still have a little bit of trouble with like getting the fog out of my eyes and my brain, which is weird. Because I don't need a bunch of coffee.
Starting point is 00:49:26 I don't drink coffee. One day out of four, I'll have like an espresso shot and a tea just because I'm like, I got to get that charge. But it's just like that I don't, I'm not all the way there even now. Have you had a headache? Yeah, at first. I had some of that stuff. That's the worst.
Starting point is 00:49:41 But I was reading some commercials, and I just couldn't say a word. And then I said it, but I was like, man, I'm just, I'm off caffeine. So now my body feels a little weird. But I'm getting there. Hey, I'll be back to the old me very soon. Don't worry. Don't worry. Wait, but why? Why'd you quit it?
Starting point is 00:49:56 No reason. Cold turkey? Yeah, oh, yeah, yeah. And no reason, because I didn't feel like it was hurting me, but I was only having a little here and there, and I'm like, well, I don't even care to have it. So let me just eliminate it and see if that helped me long term. I'm always fiddling.
Starting point is 00:50:09 So you won't know until like 20 years from now. Yeah, I feel like before I die. You'll find out. Yeah, look back and wonder. So there's that, but also what's happening is that I don't always sleep. I go in and out of pockets of just sleeping wonderfully. then I'm so neurotic about things
Starting point is 00:50:26 where then I don't sleep well for a while but this is neither one of those for some reason Stanley are bulldog you ever see the Kool-Aid man? You know what he does? He charges through the wall. He's like I'm the Kool-Aid man, boom! I don't know why his thing

Starting point is 00:50:56 He takes and runs into it now like the cooom Boom! So at night all we hear is Boom! We're like, oh God. And I'm already freaking out Because I think people are going to break into my house All the time anyway
Starting point is 00:51:07 Because I've had people actually break into my house And so it scares the crap out of me Where I'm going to have to like Lock him in a bedroom now Because five of the last six nights All we've heard was Boom! Out of nowhere.
Starting point is 00:51:21 He wants to be with you. I don't know what he wants. scares the crap out of me. But it's a new thing where it just runs into stuff. That's weird. Is the door closed or is it all the way? Because if it, even if it were open, it doesn't make sense. You can just nudge it.
Starting point is 00:51:35 And I had to talk with them. I was like, bro, just put your head into it. And if it doesn't go, we're all good. So that, then last night, this is the second time it's happened. I see some lights come into my yard in the driveway. I'm like, what? Who at 945 is driving into my. driveway. So I'm starting to freak out again. It was Amazon again at 9.45 p.m.
Starting point is 00:52:00 Yeah, it's late. They pull up and they put their hazards on and they get out of their, their two dudes. Two? Yeah. Why does it require? Too. I tell you. They both look like they were robin potential. They look like Marv and, uh, Harvey, whatever. One guy looks like that player from North Carolina, the white dude with a long beard. Manic. Yeah. But it was in a marked Amazon car? No. No, normal car. And I'm like, These guys look like they're up to some robin and maybe some stab and probably some stealing. And so their hazards are on. It's 9.45.
Starting point is 00:52:30 Caitlin's like, what's happening out there? I'm like, I think we're going to die. So I'm making it worse. But I just, they shouldn't be delivering stuff at 945. Well, I mean, they got a lot to deliver. Wouldn't you rather have it? Because, I mean, if you order it next day. I'm okay.
Starting point is 00:52:45 Yeah, but if you click that option that's like, can arrive today. Is there an option that to scare the crap out of me? Because you clicked it. Yeah, possibly rob me? But if you're a prime member, they're going to try to get it to you as fast as they can. Oh, my goodness. So all that stuff, I think all of that's probably affecting me today. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:53:01 Amazon coming over. I got a dog trying to Kool-Aid man me. I got no caffeine. Here we are. I mean, you almost died last night. Yes. And you don't even get to enjoy caffeine this morning. In my underwear.
Starting point is 00:53:13 And it was kind of cold. All I have bonds of underwear. And Caitlin's like, where are you going? I'm like, oh, I'm going to make sure there's no funny business here. I didn't grab my gun, though. Just you and undies. Just me and earth with one piece of fabric separating us. And I go out and to the front of the house and I just stand there with the door half open.
Starting point is 00:53:33 And the lights on where I am because it's like the garage area. I don't know if they can see me or not, but maybe that's what scared them off. Oh. Yeah. Why would you laugh like that? Why would you laugh like that? There's no reason to react like that. Your reaction I didn't like that.
Starting point is 00:53:48 I don't like that. I just don't think two guys, two, are going to be. scared. You just described one as an NFL football player. Basketball. Oh, whatever. Pro athlete. College basketball. Not pro. Okay. I don't know who that guy is. Is he the one for
Starting point is 00:54:04 you said beard? North Carolina guy? He needs to shave that. I was watching him. No. That guy, I was watching him play during the finals and I'm like surely this is a like streak thing where he started growing the beard and they started winning so he doesn't want to shave it. Has he won for like seven years? The longest beard I've ever seen.
Starting point is 00:54:20 Oh, he's always had it? Oh. He played at Oklahoma, too. That was one gross beard. No, no. Dang, Hater. All right. But, Amy, he wasn't the one in the Amazon truck.
Starting point is 00:54:29 And that poor guy. Maybe it was. He didn't win the championship. Now he's delivering for Amazon. Oh, true. Is his strength not free throws because... He's not a great free throw shooter. Yeah, because I do recall that.
Starting point is 00:54:39 But oddly, he can shoot from outside, which is always a weird combination. Somebody who can't shoot free throws, but can step back and shoot a longer shot. Yeah. Anywho. Anywho. Anywho. They were not scared of you. I don't think.
Starting point is 00:54:50 I think they were. Okay. So anyway, that was the night last night. I will say this, and we'll give you an update, the last update on Lunchbox's Haunted Doll. That update's coming up probably like 25 minutes. He took the doll to Eddie's house last night. No way.
Starting point is 00:55:04 Yeah, he did. That's not allowed. Well, I'm not going to say anything else about it, but Eddie hit me up last night. He goes, Lunchbox is bringing the doll in my house. I was like, why would you allow that? Oh, I didn't know he was bringing it. It just showed up at my house.
Starting point is 00:55:18 I would be so... Let me talk about emotions. I'd be a lawyer irritated. I was. I'd be slightly scared. I was. And still. I still would be scared because that happened.
Starting point is 00:55:29 I would. And I would like my money back. Because I didn't know I could just go drop it off at somebody else's house. Well, lunchbox will tell us why he did this later. Yeah, I'll tell you. I mean, I can't say anything now, so I'm just going to sit over here quietly. That update coming up in just a little bit. It's time for the good news.
Starting point is 00:55:46 With producer Eddie. Yeah, I'll make something good. This is. crazy. Kirsten Martin, she's from British Columbia, and her and her family are headed to Mexico for vacation when she realizes, oh my gosh, I forgot my son's medication, he really needs it. It's critical to his health, but we're almost to Mexico. So she's like, you know what, I'm going to try this out, see if it works. He gets on Facebook and says, hey, anyone from British Columbia headed to Mexico, is there any way you can find a prescription for this medication and
Starting point is 00:56:16 bring it with you? Someone answered, someone by the name of Marina Miller doesn't know Kristen at all, she says, yes, I can get a hold of that for you, and I'm sending it to the hotel. And she did. She sent it to the hotel. So when Kristen, her family arrived, the medication was there. That's crazy. I got a couple of medications I like to ask for it. Dear Facebook. How did she get this? I don't know. It's pretty crazy. I am so anxious today. All right, good story. That's what it's all about. That was tell me something good. You know, since the beginning of time, we have known that bacon makes everything better.
Starting point is 00:56:51 and a delicious Sonic Cheeseburger has certainly no exception there. But what would happen if Sonic took everything that people love about a decadent bacon burger experience and then doubled it? We're talking about two perfectly seasoned beef patties, two times the melty American cheese, and most importantly, double the bacon. And what if we topped it all off with a tangy smoke sauce to set that big bacon flavor off just right?
Starting point is 00:57:13 Well, this bacon lover's dream is now a bacon lover's dream come true, introducing the bacon-on-bacon-quarter-pound double cheeseburger, The doubly delicious bacon burger experience available only at Sonic. Starting point is 00:57:42 Mobile ordering available only at select locations. Hours may vary. Limited time. There you go. Let's go over and talk to Corey in South Carolina, and this is regarding Lunchbox's Haunted Doll. Hey, Corey, what's going on? What about, guys? How are y'all?
Starting point is 00:57:58 We're doing pretty good. What can we do for you? I'm a frequent listener, but this is my very first time ever calling into you guys. I appreciate that. I've been trying to keep up with you about the haunted doll, the scary doll. And I was listening last week when y'all played the game between Amy and Lunchbox to see who was going to take it home, and Amy lost the game. But I've been trying to keep up with y'all every morning, trying to keep up with the storyline,
Starting point is 00:58:29 and hadn't been able to have much success with it. But I heard just a little while ago that somehow that Lunchbox ended up taking the doll home. And I was trying to figure out how that happened. I heard Amy make a reference that she wanted her money back because the lunchbox took it, somebody's house. I'll love ditch it. Let me just give you the full download here. This is what happened. So at the beginning, I did a segment about this ventriloquist and was like, this doll is haunted. We're like, do you believe stuff can be haunted?
Starting point is 00:59:02 And the only two people to say, no, they didn't believe that a doll could be haunted were Amy and Eddie. They were like, we don't believe a doll can be haunted. So I said, perfect. Nice segue into the next segment I've secretly planned, which is about a haunted doll off the internet called The Crying Boy. And then all of a sudden, their butts got puckered and they didn't want to take the doll home anymore. Then they started to believe in it. And so they played a game. Amy lost the game. So for one week, Amy was going to take this haunted doll home.
Starting point is 00:59:31 Well, Amy came to the show and said, hey, I don't think I can do this. I have kids. I talked to my pastor. She had her pastor's remarks. She read them to us. She's like, my kids were born in Haiti and they had voodoo dolls there and she didn't know if that would trick. So we had all these things, but I said, Amy, you know how the show goes. we got to, if a game, you agree to a game and you lose, you have to do it.
Starting point is 00:59:50 She goes, okay, well, can I pay my way out? She said, great, if somebody here wants to accept money, and lunchbox did. So lunchbox accepted a nice chunk of change. Nice chunk. Nice chunk. They've got more, she told me. And has taken the doll home for an entire week. So, over the week, he has done all kinds of challenges.
Starting point is 01:00:08 He dared the doll to curse him. He did Bloody Mary with it. Last night his challenge was to burn the doll. we'll have that update in the next segment but he took the doll to Eddie's house which was a breaking that was his development I did not expect but that's the whole story A to Z
Starting point is 01:00:26 so that last part of it will come up in the next segment do you feel Corey like that updates you fully I'm sorry for that again do you feel like that's a good update now you know what happened oh yeah yeah yeah absolutely awesome hey I appreciate you calling because there are other people listening who feel the same way you do and they're like I'm confused a little bit So thank you for taking the time to call the studio.
Starting point is 01:00:48 Yes, y'all have a great day. Yeah, you too, buddy. So 15 minutes or so, we'll get into that. Why the doll was at Eddie's house? And if lunchbox burned it, because I paid him. Oh, yeah. Yeah, so two things. Okay.
Starting point is 01:00:59 Let's do the most important segment of the day, the stories of the day. Bobby's Big. Stories. A 31-year-old woman was recently sentenced to two years in prison for impersonating a physician for years without medical training. It all started in 2018 when Sonia 31
Starting point is 01:01:23 decided to try her luck as a physician. Well, that's not blackjack. No, it sure isn't. That's what you try your luck at. The lottery. She had no medical training. She had a bachelor's degree, if this makes you feel better, though,
Starting point is 01:01:38 she had a bachelor's degree in real estate management. Oh, I think you're going to say science. Yeah, I know. Some kind of medical thing. Like, she forged a bunch of diplomas, false certificate for the order of physicians, and she got a job, but then saw patients for three years before. No way. You have to admire her.
Starting point is 01:01:55 You have to hate her for what she did, but you have to admire her for, think of what she could have done had she used that in a different way. Like had she done something positive for the world, instead of lying about being a doctor. Or had she went to medical school. Yeah. Like, there's a lot of potential here. She could have been a, it sounds like she could have been an amazing real estate agent. She sounds smart.
Starting point is 01:02:12 Could have sold some houses. She was able to earn nearly $76,000 from her fake career. Wow. She used the identities of two actual doctors who happen to share her name. How lucky is that? How lucky is that? There are two doctors with your name. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:02:25 Boy, she did test her luck and she got lucky. She had two doctors that shared the name. So during her trial, the mother of three explained that she was, quote, driven by the need for money. Yeah. Then rob a bank. Just go work. The tele house. She was sentenced to three years.
Starting point is 01:02:41 in prison, two of which represent hard time without parole. It's from Audity Central. How about that? She faked it for every, I'd be worried every time. I'd be worried every day someone's going to bust in and arrest me. I would not be a good criminal because I would be so scared all the time that someone's going to find me out and arrest me.
Starting point is 01:02:58 A woman breaks her tailbone during birth because the baby's so big. Whoa. A woman proved just how backbreaking parenting is after having a baby so big, she literally broke her butt bone while giving birth to the boy. Wow. Video detailing her agonizing delivery has 5.7 million views
Starting point is 01:03:13 on TikTok, 21 years old, massive baby, 8.6 inches long, meaning he is taller than 99 of 100 newborns. 5 foot 1 mom. She did not think that she was going to have a baby so big. Her husband is 6.3, but her tailbone, because
Starting point is 01:03:31 the doctors made her line her back when giving birth, which is normal, right, to lay on your back? Yeah, but they do. Okay. So she was back, and I guess the baby was, I don't understand how It breaks your butt bone, though. Because she says it was because I laid on my back. Help me out.
Starting point is 01:03:47 Somebody that's seen this. The only thing I think of is just how hard it took her to push when she's pushing maybe just the pressure on the backbone when you're... Breaks the butt bone? That's the only thing I can think of because I don't see how you can break you. Maybe she has a tailbone that is like... Brittle? Kind of like mine.
Starting point is 01:04:01 You know how mine is a little tail? No. How is yours? Uh-uh. No, I have a little tail. Maybe we've never seen your tailbone. No, we haven't. But I even had my sister feel at this last weekend because I'm like, this is so...
Starting point is 01:04:11 How weird. Is that your only fans? No. Because I didn't, I had never really talked about it with her, and she's my sister, so I thought it was genetic. And she doesn't have this tail that I have. That's what you got to do over the weekends? In it hurts. That's from the New York Post.
Starting point is 01:04:28 But maybe her tailbone is kind of inward, and then the baby's head, like, cracked it. A gamer says a headset saved his life from a stray bullet. That's crazy. in a thread set up to discuss gaming products this user shared a picture of his gaming headphones with a bullet marking the top of it the user went on to explain how
Starting point is 01:04:49 that had saved his life when a bullet came through his window Wednesday morning at 10.30 a straight bullet went through my window and hit the razor headphones on top of my head if it wasn't for the headphones made with good quality I would have been dead that's from Unilead Was he a target? It just says came through his window so probably not
Starting point is 01:05:05 I didn't know if it was a drive-by Maybe it was like one of his enemies on Fortnite Trying to get rid of him Or it's just the greatest ad of all time Like he shot it And then he's like, oh look what saved my life Ed Shearin wins the Shape of You lawsuit
Starting point is 01:05:20 Somebody was saying he plagiarized it So let me play some stuff here Ed Shearin's been in court After plagiarism for this song Shape of You In a love with your body Who I'm in love with your body Oh, oh, why, who are, oh, why.
Starting point is 01:05:33 I'm in love with your body. In a court, a judge said he did not steal the song from O-Y, which I'm going to play a clip of over in a second. Excuse me. Switch, whose legal name is Sam Chalkery, claimed Sheeran plagiarized a key part of the 2015 song. Sheeran, whatever. In his verdict, the judge said, I don't think so.
Starting point is 01:05:52 So that's Shape of View. One more time with Shape of You, please. I'm in love with your body. Here is Sammy Switch's O-Y. Throw this case out. I would have called this one too. Just because he says, O-Y.
Starting point is 01:06:09 You don't know the words O-Y. Yeah. Play Shap, You again. I'm in love with your body. Okay. Okay, play it. The other one.
Starting point is 01:06:21 And now you got to pay Shiren's legal fees, too. That's so bullcrap. Waste of money, waste of time. There you go. What are you going to say, Amy? Well, he's saying O-I. O-I. O-Y.
Starting point is 01:06:33 O-Y. Hawaii. Okay. Here is Ed Sheeran. He posted an Instagram about winning the lawsuit. Whilst we're obviously happy with the result, I feel like claims like this are way too common now and have become a culture where a claim is made with the idea that a settlement will be cheaper than taking it to court, even if there's no base for the claim.
Starting point is 01:06:49 It's really damaging to the songwriting industry. There's only so many notes and very few chords used in pop music. Lawsuits are not a pleasant experience, and I hope with this ruling it means in the future baseless claims like this can be avoided. This really does have to end. I agree. I would like to start a show where I just listen to songs and say, you lose. It's like a court show, but just for music.
Starting point is 01:07:10 Sounds fun. Yeah. And then let's go. Let's put it to the test. I'll be the judge and you guys like a TV court show agree that whatever I say happens. And I decide what happens in music. I'm up for it. It's tricky because there is a lot of coincidence in these things.
Starting point is 01:07:23 But I also know enough about music and how to play music and how to. And I create. And I've written many things, not just music and books. And so I think I have that show. And I'll listen to the two songs, and I'll be like, uh, yep, you stole it, pay the man. So people don't even need to get a lawyer. They just come on your show like Judge Judy. That's the whole point of the show.
Starting point is 01:07:41 Yeah, that's the premise. You just discovered something. I just said that 30 seconds ago. I put it together with Judge Judy. It made so much sense. Judge Joe Brown. Yeah, you're just going to say Judge Joe's now? Judge Steve Harvey.
Starting point is 01:07:54 Man, that's good. Okay, so I'm offering that show right now to Who's a Music Network. CMT. Hit up my people. My people's Eddie. Yeah. And then just yell Judge Judy. Email me.
Starting point is 01:08:06 All right. Finally, Tiger Woods plans to play the Masters. Starting today, I think it's two times at like 1035 Eastern. Yeah, yeah. I think, I don't know who knows. I might not have it, I might have. 1031 Eastern. Tiger Woods plans to play the Masters.
Starting point is 01:08:17 It's a year and a half after his car crash where they almost amputated his leg. Crazy. He says he thinks he can win. Good for him. Agree. It's exciting. Of course. Yeah, it's very exciting.
Starting point is 01:08:27 Out of the public guy for nine months. By the way, they didn't even know he was going to play until like last week. And they were like, well, he's walking a course near his house. And the guy's like, I think he may play. And then all of a sudden he shows up. And it's like, yeah, I'm probably going to play. And now he's going to play. And if you win the Masters, you can play the rest of your life.
Starting point is 01:08:43 You don't even have to be good anymore. You can play in the tournament. Once you win it, you can always play. So you just throw your name in. You have to throw it. I mean, it stays in. You're always invited to play. Well, yes, you have to let him know.
Starting point is 01:08:58 Do you wear your little green jacket? Not to play, no. but yes, you do have it and wear it. That's from W-H-I-O-T-V. He will tee off today. I did use Draft Kings. Shout-out Draft Kings. Use the promo code Bones if you're going to bet.
Starting point is 01:09:12 Is it still, I can still bet right now? Yes. I doubled Amy Zvani during the NCAA tournament. Well, I did it. I gave her the tips. I told her what to bet. Yeah. So what am I bet?
Starting point is 01:09:22 Am I just going to bet on Tiger? Well, I bet a little tiny bit for him to win, but I bet for him to make the cut. But he said he plans on winning. Well, he always plans on winning. I help you out with that. We'll double it up. Who else is in it?
Starting point is 01:09:35 Jordan. Yes. Jordan Speed. He's in it. Yeah. How do you know him? Just stories. I played with him.
Starting point is 01:09:42 Jordan, because he's from, he went to UT. So he's like the only relevant, the only other golfer besides that I know is like Chi-Rodriguez. He will not be making it. He will not be making it. All right, that's the news. Thank you. Bobby's big. Stories.

Starting point is 01:13:44 That's AMU. APUS. Dot EDS. slash military. Okay. This is the final update. We gave lunchbox a haunted doll. He's lived with it for a week
Starting point is 01:13:58 Let me ask this before we get into the update from last night Has anything else happened in your life That you could credit to having a haunted doll in your home? No, not yet. Yesterday seemed to be a smooth day Like everything seemed to go okay. That's one hit you hardest. That's what, it's the calm before the storm.
Starting point is 01:14:13 He told the doll first, I dare you to curse me for 30 days. Daring you. He said, if you may, curse me for 30 days. And then he did Bloody Mary. He spun around with the doll. It's a Bloody Mary. Those are only two, right?
Starting point is 01:14:28 That I paid them to do because I paid them 15 and then 20. Then I paid them 50 to burn the doll last night. So you went home. Yep. Did you have a place that you thought, I'm going to put a trash can here and then burn the doll in this trash can? I know. I just thought I'd burn it on the ground.
Starting point is 01:14:46 Like I didn't think about a trash can. Like in the backyard or something? Yeah, that never came to my mind to put it in a trash can and burn it. Oh, well, that's how we would burn stuff. I guess that's what I thought. Yeah. Yeah, no, literally. I guess I'm just going to lay it on the grass and burn it.
Starting point is 01:14:57 There's some gas on it. And then start a grass fire? That's, yeah, that's what I thought. Here's a tweet from Lauren. Dot Kett. Hey, really don't like this segment. It's never a good idea to tempt a devil in such a way. This doll needs to be taken to a priest,
Starting point is 01:15:10 and the segment stopped immediately. That's some serious stuff. I don't think it needs this. But okay, I respect that. I do that's your opinion. Okay, so you're going to burn the doll. Yep. in the yard. What does your wife say about that?
Starting point is 01:15:26 My wife is not a fan of that. She's like, I don't know if I don't want you burning it in our backyard. Like, what the spirit? Like, you know, it's already messed with me over the last weekend. Like, I don't want the spirit living in our backyard or then it can come in our house. It's just, it seems like a bad idea to do it in our backyard. Because it's your thought that if you burn it, the spirit comes out of it and then takes over what's near. Yes.
Starting point is 01:15:47 So then what do you do? So then I was like, man, where can I go? Someone that doesn't believe that this can have. It doesn't believe in the spirit of the doll and it being haunted. That guy sits next to me. His name's Eddie. So you called him. Did you tell him why you were coming over?
Starting point is 01:16:01 Well, I used the premise as, hey, man, I'm coming over because I got to drop the money off for your son who won the March Madness bracket. And so when he answered the door, I had the doll with you? I handed the kid the money and I had the doll behind my back. This is all true. When did you see the doll? When he walked in my living room? The doll was in your house? Yes.
Starting point is 01:16:20 Were you upset? A little bit. I'm like, what are you doing? Why is the doll here? And he says, I take it everywhere I go. I said, hey man, I'm going to head out in your backyard. You know, you got a little pit out there, right?
Starting point is 01:16:30 You got a fire pit. I do have a fire pit. And he goes, wait, wait, no, no, no. You're not going to burn that in my backyard. And I'm like, look, dude, you're the one that told me you don't believe in the spirit. You don't believe that this can be haunted. So this is a safe place to burn it. You let him?
Starting point is 01:16:43 I mean, he had lighter fluid. He was ready to go. He came with lighter fluid. Okay, do we have a club of this? Yeah. And here's my thinking also. I thought, if I burn in Eddie's yard, I get out of town
Starting point is 01:16:53 that thing I can drive faster than the spirit can travel hopefully it can't follow me home never thought about it like that It drives fast It'll be stuck at Eddie's because it won't know where to go
Starting point is 01:17:02 Exactly Or just lost And a random neighbor is not cursed Okay here's lunchbox In Eddie's backyard With the lighter fluid Yep Okay
Starting point is 01:17:08 We're here to say goodbye To the crying boy The spirits I'm gonna burn the spirits Out of this doll Hopefully they don't come back To haunt me Listen doll
Starting point is 01:17:17 This is Bobby's idea Bobby Bones His address is, I can't tell you that, but you know where to find him. If you're coming back to haunt anybody, I'm doing this to set you free. But if you want to haunt someone, you come back and get Bobby. Oh, boy. Oh, I heard the light. There he goes.
Starting point is 01:17:33 Later, crying, boy. Set you free, my friend. Set you free. My friend. Ghost spirits. Get out of here. Do you feel like you saw anything come out of the doll? I mean, there was a lot of stuff coming up.
Starting point is 01:17:49 Yeah, smoke. Black smoke. But did you feel like you saw anything that wasn't? Man, you watch the videos, man. You see, I mean, there's stuff that's unexplained. I don't know if you call it smoke or what. You know, they say dogs have senses and you hear a dog bark, right? Like senses that we don't have.
Starting point is 01:18:04 And that dog barked. Yeah, there's a dog bark. Wow, we didn't even hear that. And not only that, maybe the same dog was the one that bled once lunchbox brought the dog home, the dog home. No, no, that was my dog that bled. I didn't take my dog to eddies. Yeah. But maybe the dog barking is the one that hurt your dog.
Starting point is 01:18:18 Dude, like a dog nearby. You think that spirit went by that dog or what? Or he smelled the spirit in the air? No dog barking until the flame. Will you hit that clip again, Ray? Skip a little bit forward. All right, let me do. I'm going to skip a little bit forward. Do you guys hear Ray or is that just in my ears?
Starting point is 01:18:34 I hear Ray. I hear him. All right, here we go. Someone you come back and get Bobby. Oh, boy. There he goes. Later, crime boy. Set you free, my friend.
Starting point is 01:18:49 Set you free. Go, spirits. Get out of here. I mean. Amy, I didn't hear that. Yeah. Oh, boy. I hear things.
Starting point is 01:18:57 Well, no, everyone heard it now. I mean, I caught it the first time. Is anyone talking to you now that's not in this room? I'm just saying. Okay, well, the doll is done. You burn the dough. Is it too crisp? It's not done. It's too crisp.
Starting point is 01:19:11 Here's the problem. No, no, no, it's crisp. Like, I mean, there's no way. It burned for 45 minutes and then lunchbox leaves. And I don't believe in this crap. You know, I don't believe in any of it. And I look outside. Does he know this?
Starting point is 01:19:24 No, I haven't told him any of this. I don't know what he was about saying. And I look at it was about it. And I look at it was. And I look outside and it's been an hour and a half and the thing's still smoking in the back. And I put all this stuff over it. I was almost like a burial. I'm like put it.
Starting point is 01:19:37 And don't let any oxygen get in there. It'll die out. Hour and a half. It's still smoking. I left it there. It's still there. Ah. And I went to go check it.
Starting point is 01:19:47 And one of the legs still has all the color to it. It's almost like it never burned. A part of his leg. But the face, the head. A charred. But not burnt like it should be? I mean, it's not completely gone. It still somewhat exists.
Starting point is 01:20:01 I mean, it's just charred. So what are you going to do? So I, well, nothing. I mean, I just, all night I was thinking like, you know, those images of horror movies when, like, Chuckie's half burned, but he still comes out. He's still doing some stabbing, but he's messed up. He's no longer the crying baby, but he's charred baby. He's now the burn baby. So I don't know, man.
Starting point is 01:20:19 Like, it's still there. I kind of want to, like, burn it all the way or get rid of it. I don't know what to do now. Remember the caller that said those babies don't burn? They saw that on the internet. It didn't burn all the way. The photo, the picture of the baby didn't burn. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:20:31 So there's that. This is what I'd like to say about it all. Not my problem. So you guys deal with it and handle it. But man, I did it. And I mean, I feel. Oh, I see it. Eh.
Starting point is 01:20:41 He's charred. I'd burn it all the way through. I'd burn it more. Just keep burning it more. And then get rid of it. Why am I involved in this? Exactly. You let him come to the house.
Starting point is 01:20:49 I did it. He walked right in. What, Amy? Nothing. I just got. Is somebody talking to you? What are they saying? Are you hearing that?
Starting point is 01:20:55 Hey what's happening right now? I think that we need to just completely get rid of the doll. Like Eddie needs to get it out of his house. Today is trash day. Get it out of your fire pit. But, uh, it's like you don't want to just get rid of it and then the poor trash guy. Goes with him. All right.
Starting point is 01:21:11 Keith Irving, Wild Hearts. Well, I'll check back in a week or so and see how it's going. All right. Bobby Bone Show. Filing your taxes does not have to be difficult. Starting point is 01:21:29 Go to taxact.com for guaranteed details. Taxact.com. So here's my problem with music, and I'll present it by telling everybody that for the last probably four years or so, I have made a conscious decision to not curse. I don't hate people to curse. All my friends curse.
Starting point is 01:21:46 Some of them curse way more than the average person. It doesn't bother me at all. I watch shows. But for me, I don't say bad words, and I have it in years and years. And I think at this point it'd be weird if I did, huh? A little bit. I miss it, but yeah, it'd be weird.
Starting point is 01:21:57 If I just launched out, you'd be like, what is that like that? It'd be strange. Not on air, but in your personal life. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I don't. I just, I don't. And that came because I was writing a lot and doing kids' music and writing stand-up. And I was like, you know, I don't want to think in this space because I don't want to use it as a crutch, something to lean on and make it easy. So I just stop cursing.
Starting point is 01:22:17 So that's where my issue comes with these songs that have curse words in the titles, and I'm supposed to say them. Like what? This is all making sense now Because sometimes when we're doing the country Top 30 countdown, Bobby's like Amy say that title And so then I have to say it Huh? Like D words?
Starting point is 01:22:37 I didn't put two and two together So, Amy, if you wouldn't mind, Do you know the name of Scottie McCurry's new song That I won't say the name of? Damn straight. Right. This song is so good. Yeah, but I won't say it.
Starting point is 01:22:50 You won't say it. Yeah, but what about a fish run? runs into a... But that's different. That's a dam. And Mountain Pine, and it also goes into how dumb that we assign value to words to. But that's a whole different.
Starting point is 01:23:02 You don't want to get into that with me. We'll be here for an hour. Yeah. But yes, it's also like there is a place called hell. Yes. And I will... Cool. Like, hey, better be good.
Starting point is 01:23:16 You might go to hell. However, Eric Church had a number one song. Do you know what it's called? Hell, yeah. No, hell, no. Hell on wheels. Kyle, you're so close. Hell, hell.
Starting point is 01:23:30 Of a view. Of a view. This ain't for everybody. I won't say the name of that. But he's saying it's the opposite of heaven. Hell of a view. No, it's being used in a context. And again, there's nothing wrong if people do.
Starting point is 01:23:59 I just won't. So here I am having to eliminate songs. I don't even say the title of. In our countdown, we had a spotlight artist of the week, Lexie Hayden. and she has a song called Pretty D. Close. So it would be called Pretty damn close. Right.
Starting point is 01:24:15 And all this came to me this morning as I'm sitting there in Little Big Town, who I love, release a song with a bad word in it. Oh no. Yeah. The bad bad word? Yeah, it's called eh.
Starting point is 01:24:28 No. They just go all out. It's called H-yeah. Oh, yeah. There it is. Yeah. Do we have a clip or it's not out yet?
Starting point is 01:24:41 Okay, I just saw it, it doesn't hurt it yet. So H-E double hockey sticks, yeah? Yeah. If it had been, yeah, let's go to hell, that would be different. No one's going to write that song, though. And I know I am so into my head. I just won't, I won't, I can't do it. Interesting.
Starting point is 01:24:59 You won't say it here because we're on air, but in the post show that we record almost every day, there's a word you say, and I'm always shocked when you say it. I'm just dicking around? Yes, that's not a bad word. But to me, that's bad. Like, if my son said that, that'd be weird. But that's not a curse word. But there are words I also don't like that I will not say now.
Starting point is 01:25:18 I know. But that, to me, is just goofing around. I know, but that, to me. What's a guy's name who has his own show? The Van Dyke show? Dick Van Dyke. Right. And I don't know why anybody would ever call themselves that.
Starting point is 01:25:31 Because, like, their name is Richard. But that's old school. Nobody, there's no kid now on TikTok being like, hey, I'm 12, I'm Dick. That's not happening because that's not a young name. That should come back. Back in a day. Bones, when you have kids, promise me? So weird.
Starting point is 01:25:46 I would love to name a kid as a bit. Richard Bones, no. My wife would kill me. I had some funny name ideas when we were talking about it. And she's not pregnant right now, so I don't want that to be started. But we talk about that stuff. And she was like, name any kids, not a bit. Not for radio, not for life.
Starting point is 01:26:01 I'm like, but it was so funny. You're like, just one. Just one. How about if we do a third? And the listeners could vote. But if you ever hear me, gloss over a song. It's because I will, and you can think it's dumb.
Starting point is 01:26:14 I don't care. It's not for you. But it's for me. I don't say bad words. And there are also words I don't assign as curse words. There aren't appropriate words. But if they're not cursed words, I'll say them. Right.
Starting point is 01:26:24 But I would see that as a bad word. Which one? You're dicking around? Yes. Not a bad word. I know, but every time you say it, I'm like, oh, I'm caught off guard. But I mean, I guess so there could be a song. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 01:26:36 Hey, listen. That's absolutely right. What? Hicking around. Well, yes, if for some reason, we're flipping through the channels and Chris Jansen's like, want to be just digging around, I'll be like, that's the jam. No, no, no, no. But you won't go damn straight.
Starting point is 01:26:53 No, I won't. But he was like. Because that's just not a bad word. That's not a curse word. I know, but it's bad to me. Great. Well, it's not to me. Is hell a curse word to everybody?
Starting point is 01:27:06 Kind of. Only if it's not the place. Man, I just never knew hell. Like if my son is like, mom, you know, I was reading in the Bible and it said something about hell, like, can we talk about that? That would be okay. But if my son came to me and was like, what hell is this breakfast? Very different. No, you cannot say that.
Starting point is 01:27:31 That's funny. Can you imagine? I don't know. I mean, it is context. And I used to never, I never cussed forever until. this last year. And now I don't cuss a lot. But occasionally it just comes out. And then on the country top 30, Bobby makes me do all the song titles. Amy just does all the cursing. All right, Amy, let's do our cursing pickups. All the things I wouldn't say. She just lists them all. As an artist, though,
Starting point is 01:27:54 they know when they're releasing a song that could do say. And I don't think, yes, and I don't think it mad. I'm the only weirdo, I'm sure. But Garth told us the reason that much too old, much too young to feel this D old wasn't on the radio. Wasn't, on the radio. It wasn't played as much. That wouldn't affect it now because, again, I'm the only, and I don't think I'm normal. But it's like people sing about all kinds of other things that, like, make it on air. In country or in like the pop world, some things are not allowed. But it's just a decision that I have made to not say curse words in my life.
Starting point is 01:28:28 So it's just a streak, right? I don't do it. And I'm going to start working on this new song for Jansen. I'm on a beach. Just sticking around. Stop. No. I'm not saying that title.
Starting point is 01:28:41 And if that title comes around, it's all you. That's fine because it's not a curse word. It doesn't even mean a bad thing. It literally just means goofing off. But I just don't like that word. Okay. Or the name. Well, we're going to work on that.
Starting point is 01:28:52 Eddie and I got like five songs we got to write the next week. Okay, Ray, are we good? Yep. Oh, we didn't do Eddie's wife who she's in love with. Oh, next week. I'm going to have to say it for tomorrow. All right. Scoob is giving me the rap sign.
Starting point is 01:29:05 And when Scoob and Ray joined teams to rap me, I know I got to go. That's fine. I'll keep it in me for another day Okay, all right We'll get to it tomorrow Thank you Bobid Bones Show Boneyhead
Starting point is 01:29:15 This story comes to us from Colfax, Louisiana A 21-year-old woman was like Man, I gotta go get my boyfriend out of jail But I don't have a ride So she walked two houses down Stole her neighbor's car Oh no no no
Starting point is 01:29:30 And the neighbor saw her steal the car And called police and said Hey my neighbor just stole my car Out of the driveway And when she arrived at the jail they ran the license plate and said, oh, we know who you are, boom. Now you're in jail with your boyfriend.
Starting point is 01:29:44 And what's sad is, probably not in jail with her boyfriend. Right, right. Just in jail, as is her boyfriend. Two different deals. Wow, okay. I'm Lunchbox. That's your Bonehead Story of the Day. Tomorrow, Tim McGraw in studio. Can't wait.
Starting point is 01:29:59 Love when Tim's in studio. So, I mean, if you like it, if you want some more of it. So dumb. I see what you did there. Tomorrow morning, Tim McGraw in studio. Talk about an occasion where you wouldn't be mad about someone kind of getting into your personal space. A California woman is millions richer after someone accidentally bumped into her at the grocery store. She told state lottery official she was in the process of buying a lottery ticket at a Tarzanah grocery store when someone bumped into her and made her select the wrong ticket.
Starting point is 01:30:29 The actual ticket ended up being worth $10 million bucks. So it was the right ticket. $10 million. Not $10,000. $10,000 would be awesome. $10,000 would be awesome. I'd pee myself a little. A hundred thousand.
Starting point is 01:30:41 I'd pee myself a middle. That's 10 million. And so there you go from ABC 7 News. How does she get bumped into a wrong ticket? Because I'm obviously not understanding something. Lunchbox sounds like a beep or maybe you're pushing a button on one of those little machines. But yeah, that's what I'm saying. She must be doing a vending machine of a scratch off and hits the wrong button or I don't know how you get bumped into it.
Starting point is 01:31:03 But I'm going to go to the convenience store today and, hey, can you bump into me on accident? Oh, that's the ticket. feeling someone will think you being a purve and call the cops. Hey, uh, would you mind bumping into me? So please do that. Would you mind saying, hey, sailor, while you do it? Tomorrow, he's the bonehead of the day. Thank you. Have a great day. We'll see you tomorrow. Bobby Bones.
