Starting point is 00:03:19 Eddie and me lunchbox, more game two. Steve Redavit's trying to put you through. Mike D's writing this week's next bit. Now Bobby's on the mic so you know what this is. The Bobby Vaugham store It's now time for the Morning Corny But we're going to try to get as many ride as we can in 90 seconds And we will ask it
Starting point is 00:03:42 The team consists of lunchbox, Eddie and myself The record is six At one point we got six right in 90 seconds You guys ready to go? Ready. All right, the timer starts at the end of the first joke. The morning corny What do you call a pig
Starting point is 00:04:00 That plays tug-a-war? Rope. Swine flu. Swine, swine, swine. P, pig, snore, twine. Slop. Pig, long swan. Truff. Trough.
Starting point is 00:04:13 Like a war. Is that a game? Roep, it's a rope game. Roep swine. Roep pig. Pool, a pool. Pool, pork, pool. Pull, pork. One.
Starting point is 00:04:21 That's got to be it. Good job. Why don't scientists trust atoms? Adams. They split. They're always leaving. They're always splitting. They're neutral.
Starting point is 00:04:32 They're neutral. They're neutron. proton, proton, because Eve, electron. Oh, atom is, has spelled atom. A-T-O-M-S. Because of Eve. No, no, that's A-D-A-A-A-A-A-A-T-O-N-S. Autonomy.
Starting point is 00:04:46 Go ahead, say it again. Why don't scientists trust atoms? You never know where they're going to split. Adams, they could be splitting it any time. Adams are everywhere. That's too smart for me. Everything, we're all atoms. That's what we are.
Starting point is 00:05:01 Everything about us is an atom. Scientists. Neutron, proton, electron. I don't know. They... I don't know, man. Why don't they trust them? Trust.
Starting point is 00:05:16 They're electrically, they're not positive. They'll train atoms. They turn on you? Do they... They gang up on you? They are negative. But they're only part of it. Because they don't know if they're negative or positive.
Starting point is 00:05:31 They go back and... They change their. their minds. James are charged. Because they make up everything. They make up everything. If you want to know if woman's happy, I see what she's wearing, like his pants. Jeans are what women are most likely to wear when depressed.
Starting point is 00:05:47 Really? Oh. No, I have jeans right now. Amy, are you okay? Morgan's got two pair on. This is like, oh. She's going to break up. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:55 Are you in jeans, Morgan? No, I'm not. I'm actually in like kind of dress pants. Oh, look at you. You must be getting better. You know, I'm feeling good. Okay, good. So, jeans, again, I'm going to say this statement again and then follow it up with one to see because I'm not looking at your jeans.
Starting point is 00:06:09 I just know you're wearing denim. Yeah. Jeans are what women are most likely to wear when depressed, especially baggy jeans. Well, mine are a little bit baggy. They're a little baggy. But that's, this is the style. Are you okay? This is the style right now.
Starting point is 00:06:23 Depression style. You okay? Looser, wider leg jeans are in right now. According to Science Daily when women aren't feeling great, the long. also most likely go with a sweatshirt or baggy ta. I have a baggie towel. Oh, no. Okay, okay, okay.
Starting point is 00:06:38 Listen, I'm the least depressed I've been in a long time. This is not accurate. Oh, no. Okay, okay. When happy, though, yoga pants. Women were more likely to wear something well cut. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:52 That is a tighter fit or made from bright, loud fabrics. Okay. So. Pretty neutral. I'm looking at you today. It's very neutral colors, a little baggy. Very neutral and pressed, yeah. Where would you, on the happiness scale? Happy.
Starting point is 00:07:07 Where are you now? Like, what is, yeah. Ten is, you won the lottery. Eight. Wow. Yeah, no, things are good. Okay. Like, I'm, you know, it was a one for a while, but we couldn't.
Starting point is 00:07:20 One, God, oh, my gosh. Whoa. How did you survive? That's like almost over. It's been a minute since I was a one, but you know all was a one. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. She had some, I don't know about one though.
Starting point is 00:07:31 One's low, though. One was pretty low. One's like, Amy, one's like you're done. I'd say one and a half. Two and a half. That's low. Morgan, where are you now after your breakup? Are you over it yet?
Starting point is 00:07:42 Yeah, I'm getting there. I think I'm about a six and a half right now. That's on the better than average. I mean, that is bouncing back quick. Yeah, hey, you know, got to do what you got to do weeks. It's been weak. You think she should be sad forever? Hold on.
Starting point is 00:07:57 To go from, I'm going to marry this dude. to, oh my gosh, he broke with me to six and a half in two weeks. I mean, it seems like a real quick bounce back up to I'm wonderful. So, like if you. I didn't say I was a 10. Five is extremely in the middle with no feeling whatsoever. I think six is good. I think you're.
Starting point is 00:08:17 Yeah, it's normal. And you can fall down into the four zone for a brief spell as long as you pull yourself back out. And you can get up to seven or eight and then come back to normal as well. Yeah. It's like Eddie getting divorced in two weeks later being like. He's not divorced though. That would be fishy.
Starting point is 00:08:31 No, that would be too much. But he didn't have tragedy. You could have literally used a real tragedy. His dad just died. You probably didn't want to go there. I don't want to go there. He doesn't mind going anywhere. That's too real.
Starting point is 00:08:41 We were talking relationships, so I was like. Anyway, if a woman is wearing jeans, Amy, true or false, they're more likely to be depressed. It's false. Okay. You heard it here. Science Daily does not agree. But you heard it here. I'd like to ask for a favor from all of our listeners that live in Oklahoma.
Starting point is 00:08:59 I'm going to be at the Oklahoma football game on Saturday. And they have invited me out to lead the Toby Keith sing-along between the third and fourth quarters at the Oklahoma football game. Now, my wife and her parents, massive OU fans. I am, generally, I root for OU. But I'm an Arkansas fan. I've grown up with Arkansas fan, diehard.
Starting point is 00:09:18 But knew and had a relationship with Toby, and I was like, I'm more than happy to come and lead the Toby Keith sing-along. I would never wear anything of another. I would never be disrespectful. I respect OU. And I'm going to go out. I'll be on the field. between third and fourth quarter.
Starting point is 00:09:31 When they are like, okay, here he is to leave. Please, will you cheer for me? Don't boo? Just don't. I mean, please. You're going to have to like double up and like double, uh, uh, and give me two, like extra in case some people are like, wait, what's he doing here? But I'm doing it because my family, massive Oklahoma fans and my relationship with Toby
Starting point is 00:09:49 before he passed away. And they're having, week one was Crystal, his daughter and family. Week two was Bob Stoops, longtime Oklahoma head coach, national champion. That's cool. Week three is me. So I'm hoping there's on a big fall off. That's a big jump. Yeah, it's different.
Starting point is 00:10:02 Yes. I come with peace and love. Like, I'm missing the, it's so important to me. I'm missing the literal Arkansas game. We're leaving to go to Oklahoma because I want to do this because it is important to me to do. So I have an I heart Toby shirt on. Can't? Yeah, and probably like a team color shirt.
Starting point is 00:10:23 Like maroon? Yeah, like I don't wear any logos of anybody else. But I love Oklahoma, I love you. So I need you to love me back. Because some people are going to be like, what's he doing here? But doing it for Toby. So going to be out at that football game. Between third and fourth quarter, I will be leading the,
Starting point is 00:10:40 and I don't know if they'll make a spoiler or not, but we're doing Red Solo Cup, the whole stadium. The whole stadium sings the Toby Keith song every game now since he passed away to tribute Toby Keith. You got all the words? I don't have to sing on a microphone. Can you imagine? I sing on a microphone the whole time.
Starting point is 00:10:53 No, they go down to the field. I'm like, on a thing. and I'm like, I say something about Toby and like tell a brief story, say something. And then they have a whole screen. And then the whole stadium sings it. Okay. So we'll be there Saturday. Can't wait to see everybody.
Starting point is 00:11:05 Please, I hope you either are excited or fake excitement to see me. I need it. That's all I got to say. Thank you. Next up, I'll give you a name. We either made the name up or it's an NFL starting quarterback. Amy, it's your job to determine which is which. Okay.
Starting point is 00:11:20 Because you say you want to be involved. If I were Amy, this is, I'm going to do a little bit of this is just me. having this opinion. If I were Amy's ex-husband and I were to hear her say, I'd like to get into football now after all the years of her not wanting to be in football, whenever he was married. She was like, I hate football. Now she's like, I want to know more about football. I'd be a little
Starting point is 00:11:37 bit annoyed. Like, why didn't you want to watch football when we were together? Well, I had some healing around it. Yeah. Football, just I associated it with my dad ignoring me. Oh. I know. But that has nothing to do with your husband. I know, but that's why football during the daytime
Starting point is 00:11:53 Just really made me uncomfortable. Even before I got married and I never knew why. Like I just, I cringed at football on TV during the day. It was specifically during the day. And I don't know. I guess I just had some memories of my dad watching football during the day and ignoring me. Well, I stand by the fact that if I'm her ex-husband, I'm like, why couldn't you heal when we were together? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:12 So now- Can Amy name the starting quarterback or did we make it up? I'll play that game next. In 2023, former bachelor star Clayton Eckerd found himself at the center of a paternity scandal. The family court hearings that followed revealed glaring inconsistencies in her story. This began a years-long court battle to prove the truth. You doctored this particular test twice in soons, correct? I doctored the test ones.
Starting point is 00:12:39 It took an army of internet detectives to crack the case. I wanted people to be able to see what their tax dollars were being used for. Sunlight's the greatest disinfected. They would uncover a disturbing pattern. Two more men who'd been through the same thing. Greg, a lesbian, and Michael Marincini. My mind was blown. I'm Stephanie Young.
Starting point is 00:12:59 This is Love Trap. Laura, Scottsdale Police. As the season continues, Laura Owens finally faces consequences. Ladies and gentlemen, breaking news at Americopa County as Laura Owens has been indicted on fraud charges. This isn't over until justice is served in Arizona. Listen to Love Trapped podcast on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. There's two golden rules that any man should live by. Rule one, never mess with a country girl.
Starting point is 00:13:36 You play stupid games, you get stupid prizes. And rule two, never mess with her friends either. We always say that trust your girlfriends. I'm Anna Sinfield, and in this new season of the girlfriends... Oh my God, this is the same man. A group of women discover they've all dated the same prolific con artist. I felt like I got hit by a truck. I thought, how could this happen to me?
Starting point is 00:14:00 The cops didn't seem to care. So they take matters into their own hands. I said, oh, hell no. I vowed I will be his last target. He's going to get what he deserves. Listen to the girlfriends. Trust me, babe. On the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts,
Starting point is 00:14:19 or wherever you get your podcasts. What's up, everyone? I'm Ego Wodom. My next guest, you know from Step Brothers, Anchorman, Saturday Night Live, and the Big Money Players Network. It's Will Ferrell. Woo.
Starting point is 00:14:37 Woo. My dad gave me the best advice ever. I went and had lunch with him one day. And I was like, and Dad, I think I want to really give this a shot. I don't know what that means, but I just know the groundlings. I'm working my way up through,
Starting point is 00:14:51 and I know it's a place that come look for up-and-coming talent. He said, if it was based solely on talent, I wouldn't worry about you, which is really sweet. Yeah. He goes, but there's so much luck involved. And he's like, give it a shot. He goes, but if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay to quit. If you saw it written down, it would
Starting point is 00:15:13 not be an inspiration. It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat. Just hang in there. Yeah, it would not be. Right. It wouldn't be that. There's a lot of luck. Listen to Thanks Dad on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcast. A win is a win. A win is a win. I don't care what you're saying. Yep, that's me, Cliver Taylor the 4th. You might have seen the skits, the reactions, my journey from basketball to college football, or my career in sports media. Starting point is 00:17:17 Okay, so I'm going to give you a name. You tell me if it's a quarterback or not. No. A starting quarterback. Cowboys. Yeah, starting quarterback. Yes. Show off.
Starting point is 00:17:25 Right. Yeah. We'll see how many you get. We'll do 10. Lamar Jackson. I. So it could be... It's either a starting quarterback or a name we made up.
Starting point is 00:17:39 Okay. You made it up. Lamar Jackson. He's the starting quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens. Yeah. Okay. Brock Purdy. Oh, that sounds familiar.
Starting point is 00:17:51 Brock Purdy. Gosh. Starting quarterback or we made it up. He's a starting quarterback. Four. The Broncos? He is a starting quarterback for the 49ers. Okay.
Starting point is 00:18:02 We'll give you that one. Gardner Menshoe. Oh, you made it up. No, starting quarterback for the Raiders. Rex Fargo. You made it up. Correct. I made up Rex Fargo, correct.
Starting point is 00:18:19 Had to be one in there somewhere. T.J. Robinson. Oh, starting quarterback. For who? The Buccaneers. Made it up. Okay. C.J. Stroud.
Starting point is 00:18:34 Oh, starting quarterback. Yeah? Uh-huh. Buccaneers. No. He is a starting quarterback for the Texans, though. Okay. Baker-Methel is the starting quarterback for the Buccaneers.
Starting point is 00:18:42 Oh, yeah, that's right. He ever texts you or DMU? He completely has left me on red. And that's why we don't mess with the Buccaneers anymore. Okay. Shout out Tampa, but he made $100 million bucks and he just ignores me. So I know who your friends are. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:18:57 If they make $100 million and I ignore you, they're not your friends anymore. Bo Nix. Oh, made it up. he's a starting quarterback or the Broncos oh dang you've gotten that hey Morgan
Starting point is 00:19:11 do you know quarterbacks maybe not Anthony Richardson that feels made up he's starting a quarterback for the Colts which I'll just make up one
Starting point is 00:19:23 a couple no it's T.J. Robinson Mirian Ellis Morgan that also feels made up but also kind of real Miriam Ellis? I'm sure there's somebody, even if it's made up
Starting point is 00:19:36 the same as Miriam Ellis, yeah. I'm going to go with Real. No, made it up. Gardner, what? Who's the Gardner guy? Menshoe. Gardner Minchu. Gardner Minchu. You like that one?
Starting point is 00:19:46 Yes, and who's he played for again? The Raiders. Okay. I'm trying to remember this. Okay, so Lamar Jackson plays for the Colts. Ravens. Brock Purdy plays for the
Starting point is 00:19:59 49ers. Correct. Gardner, Menshoe, plays for the guy you just said it this is the one okay you just said it and I was like that's the example I use for I'm going to remember this
Starting point is 00:20:11 the I need a hint Raiders Dang it Anthony Richardson plays for the He was made up Colts no he wasn't No he wasn't
Starting point is 00:20:21 All right we're down with this My brain hurt Time for the new Bobby's big Stories I saw the Mega Millions was hit It was a day ago or so, but I did see $800 million was hit at a Sugar Land gas station in Texas. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:36 Right outside of Houston. So it wasn't California for once. No, it was right across from their minor league baseball stadium there, so it could have been one of the players. ABC 13 photojournalist asked a shopper, hey, how do you feel about your chances? They were like, I hope I win. They didn't. And somebody else did. 800 million bucks.
Starting point is 00:20:51 How crazy is that? Someone in Houston that listens to our podcast is 800. We don't know they listen to our podcast. I would bet. The odds are they do, and maybe they'll hook us up. Cell phones, according to Reuters, according to scientists, are not linked to brain cancer. Scientists say there's no link between cell phones and brain cancer.
Starting point is 00:21:09 Nearly every single adult uses a cell phone in America, and some way the electromagnetic fields produced by mobile phones could cause cancer, but the World Health Organization says, you can breathe easier. A team of 11 investigators in 10 countries, and they list all the countries, have sifted through 5,000 studies. They say as wireless technology has increased over the past two decades,
Starting point is 00:21:29 there has been no increase in brain tumors or evidence of a link to cancer. This is true even with people who have used cell phones for over 10 years. So if we'd, and we talked about this 10 years ago. And there just wasn't enough data 10 years ago because I'd be like, they're saying this now, but we haven't had cell phones that long. I think at this point we've had cell phones. Enough people have had enough cell phones for long enough to at least have some preliminary data that we should start to trust.
Starting point is 00:21:55 Yeah. I mean, my dad had a cell phone 20 years ago. Like a bag phone? Yeah, it was awesome. And the Zach Morris phone. Oh, man, the Zach Morris phone. That was so legit on that show. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:22:04 I think 20 years ago we all, like it's time. We had cell phones in 2000. Well, let's act like 20 years ago is a lot longer. It's not. Our parents having phones. Did I have a phone in 2000? Yes, you did. I don't think I had a phone in college.
Starting point is 00:22:19 I swear. I swear you did. I was a sophomore in college. No way I had a phone. I didn't have a little teeny tiny Nokia. Pager. Mm-mm. I didn't have phone until I was graduating college.
Starting point is 00:22:28 I had a pager Okay well you were graduate in college in like 2002 2. Yeah but that was more than 20 years ago But you said 2000 exactly I'm like I didn't have a phone in 2000 Okay guys the math was wrong okay All right
Starting point is 00:22:40 Yeah 20 years ago feels like it should be a lot longer Yeah I don't like that I don't really like that The US is the country with the most cheaters Uh oh New research is analyzed Quote all available data on infidelity For a report on all things cheating related
Starting point is 00:22:53 According to Technopedia The US is the country With the highest rate of cheating and America's infidelity hot spots are the states of Texas, Nebraska, and Alabama. Nearly a third of affairs happen between coworkers, but more people are unfaithful with a friend as 40% of women and 33% of men have cheated with a friend. Now, I would say that that number is higher with women to men over friend because men will cheat with somebody they don't even know.
Starting point is 00:23:19 Men won't even be sure what it is. That's a good point. They don't care. What do you mean by what it is? They don't care. No. Does it have a hole? All right, I might cheat. That's what men do. That's just the truth, Amy.
Starting point is 00:23:35 That is that. Curious as to why people cheat or why they're unfaithful. A new report offers some insight, number one, and it goes to all of this. The state's thing is hilarious, Texas, Alabama, and Nebraska. Now, Vegas isn't on there, Nevada, because I think a lot of those probably, there aren't admissions of guilt. That's just people hooking up. And what stays there. These are, like, infidelity.
Starting point is 00:23:52 This is all, no, not what stays there. I'm saying this is like, this is like, um, this is like, um, relationships. Right. Okay. Like affairs. More so than one-offs. Do you think the United States is the highest because we have the most rights? Like we let, like some states, like women don't go to work or some countries, women aren't allowed to go to work? What are you talking about?
Starting point is 00:24:10 Like they're not a lot to get on the internet. They're not allowed to do this. You're talking about like very limited countries, like Taliban type stuff. So I'm like, so does that mean like the U.S.? Because women are allowed to work and they're allowed to have Facebook? That's why we have more cheaters. I think. think you think that's a lot more prevalent than it is. Facebook.
Starting point is 00:24:30 You're talking about like Taliban type stuff. Well, like Russia. Are women allowed to do anything in Russia? I don't know. So that's what I'm saying. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Yeah, I watched a Russian tennis player. They're not as, they probably don't have access to what we have access to as far as information.
Starting point is 00:24:46 Okay. But I don't know, dude. But what about like the French? Like North Korea. North Korea, they can't do anything. North Korea can't do crap. Right. So they can't cheat.
Starting point is 00:24:54 But there's like three or four. But they could. We just don't know about it. I don't have the answer, but I think most, most countries that have technology women get to go to work and get on Facebook and stuff. Okay. Yeah. I thought my theory is pretty interesting theory. I'm not saying it's wrong. It's just interesting.
Starting point is 00:25:10 57% of online content is now created by AI. That's high. It's very high. It's not good. Instagram has a thing now where if it's created by AI, you're supposed to push the button and let everybody know. Oh. And sometimes it thinks mine's created by AI and it's not. Because it's so good.
Starting point is 00:25:25 I don't know what. I think just because we put graphics on stuff. Oh. And if that counts or not. Scientists have discovered that a common food dye in things like Doritos can turn a living mouse's skin transparent. Whoa.
Starting point is 00:25:39 Which they don't think is good, by the way. Yeah, what does that do to us? If you eat enough Doritos, you're a superhero. Like, you just be... That would be awesome. Scientists at Stanford were able to take a mouse's skin and make it transparent using a common food dye. It's the same common food dye
Starting point is 00:25:53 that is used in some foods. Red Tardazine or Yellow 5. We used to drink yellow, it used to be on like mellow yellow or Mountain Dew and they'd be like yellow 5 and make sure we're smaller. You guys do that in elementary? No. I like, anybody ever hear that back in the day? And you would still drink it? I was like, what do I got to lose?
Starting point is 00:26:12 Can't go anywhere from zero. You know, can't go down. So the dye turned the mouse's skin red, which then made the skin transparent. Whoa. It's just the chemicals. We have so many chemicals in our food. Preservatives are killing us. It's crazy.
Starting point is 00:26:25 Sweden says children under two should not have any screen time. Thoughts to parents who have kids that need screen time. I agree with that. Under two, and they don't really need it. What are they watching? Yeah. Under two, they don't really know. Do you need it for them?
Starting point is 00:26:39 No, because it really doesn't stop them from, like, doing whatever they're doing. You can't use it to, like, make them be quiet or something? No, two-year-old. Not really. What about baby Mozart? Who? What is that? Baby Einstein?
Starting point is 00:26:52 Oh, baby. I haven't. I never had a baby. I will say there is one thing on Netflix, like whenever my kids would cry, like whenever they had a fit and you'd turn on this thing called baby bum, it was within two seconds they stopped crying.
Starting point is 00:27:05 I mean, it was amazing. Sweet it says children under the age of two should not be exposed to any digital screens. And you guys are, that's not crazy? No, I kind of like that. That's from fast company. I figured parents would like it, but I'm saying,
Starting point is 00:27:18 would it make your life harder? Because you probably like the idea of kids only eating nutritious food, but also you probably still give your kids crap sometimes. Gosh, I just don't remember giving my two-year-old a screen. You don't think it would have changed. No. Four to five Americans that travel are fine with the use of biometrics, face, and fingerprint scans at airport security as long as it makes it faster.
Starting point is 00:27:39 Oh, I'm in. Yeah. Take a semen sample. That doesn't seem faster, but. That seems like a little extra or whatever. I can't say that. I'm in urine. I'm that urine.
Starting point is 00:27:55 That's stupid. Oh, boy. I meant you're in. They come from the same place, but whatever, man. I'm so stupid. That's so stupid. We had to bleep that. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:28:08 Anyway, yeah, just get me through faster. I'm done with the news. Those were Bobby's big. Stories. In 2023, former bachelor star Clayton Eckerd found himself at the center of a paternity scandal. The family court hearings that followed revealed glaring inconsistency. in her story. This began a years-long court battle to prove the truth.
Starting point is 00:28:33 You doctored this particular test twice in so-ins, correct? I doctored the test once. It took an army of internet detectives to crack the case. I wanted people to be able to see what their tax dollars were being used for. Sunlight's the greatest disinfected. They would uncover a disturbing pattern. Two more men who'd been through the same thing. Greg Lespian and Michael Marantini.
Starting point is 00:28:55 My mind was blown. I'm Stephanie Young. This is Love Trap.
Starting point is 00:29:27 There's two golden rules that any man should live by. Rule one, never mess with a country girl. You play stupid games, you get stupid prizes. And rule two, never mess with her friends either. We always say that trust your girlfriends. I'm Anna Sinfield, and in this new season of the girlfriends, oh my God, this is the same man. A group of women discover they've all dated the same prolific con artist.
Starting point is 00:29:55 I felt like I got hit by a truck. I thought, how could this happen to me? The cops didn't seem to care. So they take matters into their own hands. I said, oh, hell no. I vowed I will be his last target. He's going to get what he deserves. Listen to the girlfriends.
Starting point is 00:30:14 Trust me, babe. On the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Everyone, I'm Ego Wode. My next guest, you know from Stepbrothers Anchorman, Saturday Night Live and the Big Money Players Network. It's Will Ferrell. Woo, woo, woo, woo.
Starting point is 00:30:38 My dad gave me the best advice ever. I went and had lunch with him one day. And I was like, and dad, I think I want to really give this a shot. I don't know what that means, but I just know the groundlings. I'm working my way up through, and I know it's a place that come look for up and coming talent. He said, if it was based solely on talent, I wouldn't worry about you, which is really sweet. Yeah. He goes, but there's so much luck involved.
Starting point is 00:31:01 And he's like, just give it a shot. He goes, but if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall, and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay to quit. If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration. It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat. Just hang in there. Yeah, it would not be. Right, it wouldn't be that.
Starting point is 00:31:24 There's a lot of luck. Listen to Thanks, Dad, on the IHeartRadio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcast. A win is a win. A win is a win. I don't care what I'm saying. Yep, that's me. Cliver Taylor the 4th. You might have seen the skits, the reactions, my journey from basketball to college football,
Starting point is 00:31:43 or my career in sports media. Well, somewhere along the way, this platform became bigger than I ever imagined. Starting point is 00:32:34 This week on the Sports Slice podcast, it's all. about the NFL draft, and we've got a special guest. The director of the NFL's East West Shrine Bowl, Eric Galco, joins the Sports Slice podcast to break down what really matters when evaluating draft prospects. From hidden traits teams look for to the biggest mistakes franchises make to the players flying under the radar, this is the insight you won't hear anywhere else. If you want to understand the draft like an insider, you don't want to miss this episode. Listen to the Sports Slice podcast on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get
Starting point is 00:33:07 your podcast. And for more, follow Timbo Slice of Life 12 and TikTok podcast network on TikTok. There's this. It's a male review where all these dudes, they take off the clothes, they dance, on underwear. It's called Thunder Down Under. If you go to Vegas, you go, but it also tours and lunchbox lost a game. And he has to go to Thunder Down Under for two days in a row and sit close to the front. That's good, but we had contacted them, right? Like, he's set up to at least go to that. Yes, he's set up for that and a lot of other special things that will happen when he's there. Tell us more about special things.
Starting point is 00:33:38 We don't need special things. He lost and now he must pay his punishment, which is under down under the all-mail review, which is going to be so many ladies there, though, lunchbox. It will be all late. Probably 93% ladies. Oh, for sure.
Starting point is 00:33:53 So lunchbox and now, Scoop back, you can't go? Wait, what? For the one I put in the counter, you can't go to that? Yeah, I got it. Hold on a second. I spent weeks talking with this guy working on all these things. What guy? The guy who's the person who's setting up the whole thing.
Starting point is 00:34:06 He's a PR guy for it. Don't talk about that. So what's your deal? So why wouldn't you ask me what night I can go? Well, because I think we got it on the year. We talked about it on the show that there's a window. We literally talked to the window on the show, we said the window. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:34:20 And then I sent you a counter invite days ago. Hold off. Everybody take a breath. Lunchbox, what is your conflict? I have my co-ed rec soccer game that night. And I as the captain and the one that brings the jerseys, if I'm not there, the jerseys don't get delivered to the game. It causes chaos. So, I mean, my game is at 815 that night, which I feel like it's probably going to be right in the middle of Thunderdown Under.
Starting point is 00:34:42 So it looks like we have to cancel. No, he can give the jerse to somebody else. I had to miss a rec softball game. I didn't like to have to do it, but it was okay. This is not valid. The first, the keyword is rec. This keyword is job. No, no.
Starting point is 00:34:54 Pays your bills, bread and butter. But I just can't let my team down is what I'm saying. Yeah, you can. I don't know why I wasn't even included. How much of a star player are you? Are you getting like lots of goals? If he's bringing all the jerseys, not that big of a star.
Starting point is 00:35:09 It causes chaos if he can't hand them out. Yeah, yeah, that's why there's chaos. He brings orange slices and jerseys. They're going to win. I just found it weird that I wasn't even consulted on what day I can go. We said the day in the bit. We said it was in September. We didn't say what day.
Starting point is 00:35:27 Yeah, we did. We gave you the window. And then I put in your calendar several days ago. I didn't know he had a calendar. No, no, he sends it in your email. Yeah, he doesn't have a calendar, scuba. But he goes through his calendar. Yes, he gets it in an email, yes.
Starting point is 00:35:37 And it says, Wednesday, September 25th. I'm busy that day, man. I got commitments. So, yeah, I don't know what to do. My recommendation would be to fulfill this bet because it will only get worse if you don't. What do you mean worse? That's what I'll say.
Starting point is 00:35:55 So I'll leave it there. I'll let you guys handle this later. Okay. But if for some reason, because you are an adult, man, this is an adult job, although at times it's not. if you go to scuba and go off air i cannot go to this because it is absolutely a priority to go to the soccer game if you say that even though we don't agree with you you get you're an adult man to make an adult decisions it will be worse for you if you don't go absolutely well why can i just go the next day because you have to go two days in a row
Starting point is 00:36:23 yeah yeah you have yeah you have to go two nights in a row you kept losing the game i understand that but there's days that i can go right i can go the next day and the day after that i mean i don't scuba well i set up a special this is a very special occasion for this particular day. No, no, no. The bet wasn't special occasion. The bet was I go and watch. I'm going to let you guys handle this. Oh, my God. But if for some reason it is not, it does not happen in the way that we think
Starting point is 00:36:48 it should happen based on the results of the game. It will be much worse for the player. But it's up to you. We make our own decisions as adults. So no decision right now, but I'll let you guys handle that. Okay. And I know you're Rex off. It's probably the championship game. No, I think it's like the fifth game of the game. the regular season.
Starting point is 00:37:05 But probably the game that determines playoffs. It's probably going to determine if we get in or not. It's like, but it's like close to the end of the season. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. Because there's only seven games, you know what I mean? That's going to be a pivotal stretch.
Starting point is 00:37:17 Like, you don't want to go in limping into the playoffs. You want to be playing your best and it's your key cog. You're the key cog? One of them. I think you'll be able to see a lot of keycogs at the old Thunder down under as well. Multiple, multiple keycogs. Really special ones. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:37:34 We'll let you guys handle that. Give me an update tomorrow and the next day, okay? All right. Sounds good. Robit Bones Show. Bonehead. Story of the day. This story comes us from Chesterfield County, Virginia. 911 received a call. 911, what's your emergency?
Starting point is 00:37:51 Oh, yeah, shots fire. There were shots coming from my neighbor's house. I don't know what's going on. Police show up. The neighbor had accidentally put their gun in the oven and forgot about it and they went to preheat it. Oh. So many things. We could go.
Starting point is 00:38:04 layer by layer on this. Dang. Maybe they were hiding their gun is all I can think about instead of warm it up. Yeah, they weren't warming it up on purpose. Maybe to go shoot it though. Who has a cold gun?
Starting point is 00:38:18 Dang. And so obvious, and it was loaded. It was loaded and so the heat caused it to fire. Pah, paw, paw! Oh, that's scary. Even if you're hiding it in the oven, what you shouldn't do, you should check and make sure it's also not loaded.
Starting point is 00:38:33 Yeah. There's just a lot of things. As a gun owner myself, there are a lot of things that I wouldn't have done there. Many. There's all. All.
Starting point is 00:38:39 Okay. I'm Lunchbox. That's your Bonehead Story of the day. Eddie, over to you. Old people, listen up. I have an app on the iPhone that's going to change your life.
Starting point is 00:38:49 You know how we know you're old. You set an app on the eye. I mean, it's just a phone. Just say we have an app on your phone. Well, yeah, yeah, but some people have those other phones. I don't know. Android?
Starting point is 00:38:56 Yeah, but they have apps. Yeah, but I don't know if they have this app. I know, but you can just say fine. It's like 90. Because this app comes with your phone. You don't have to download it. Okay. It's in there already.
Starting point is 00:39:05 It's called the magnifier. This is, okay. The what? The magnifier app. Okay. So if you can't read something, get the app, hit the button, hold it up to whatever you're trying to read. Whoop.
Starting point is 00:39:15 It magnifies it to where you can read it. We don't need reading glasses. I do that with my camera on my phone. I just have my camera. And then if it's something, I just zoom in my thumb. Yeah. It's already zoomed in for you. You don't need the camera.
Starting point is 00:39:26 The camera you have to pinch and then, you know, kind of zoom in. This one, open it up. Put it right up to whatever you're trying to read And you can see it, dude It's amazing Even if it's as good as he is acting like it is It doesn't feel that amazing But let me look out of here
Starting point is 00:39:38 Yeah Magnifier Got it And so it's up Where does you find it? And then you just You have to use your thumb You still have to use your thumb
Starting point is 00:39:47 To swipe it If you want to get closer People need different magnification No I know But yeah same I get your point Like so I'll take a screenshot of something And zoom in if I need to
Starting point is 00:39:56 It's the same thing as your camera Yeah a little too excited but I like that you brought something new to the show. I can go to restaurants now and I can read the menu. But you could have done that with your camera. Yeah, but I don't know. I think this is so cool. Quit raining on my parade, dude.
Starting point is 00:40:09 This is awesome. Okay, if you go to measure, if you take your iPhone out and you go to measure on that app, and you're like, I wonder how far it is from the door to the chair. And there's a little dot, and you push the button, and you can measure with a line and push the dot again. It's like a tape measure. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:40:23 So measure is basically a digital tape measure on your phone. We have that? Yeah, it's on the iPhone. Like from you, if I put the camera on you, it puts a little dot up. I've never seen that on my phone. So you get close to it, like this football helmet here, all the way to Eddie's chest. I would say 10 feet. 16 feet, 11 inches.
Starting point is 00:40:41 So it's a digital tape measure on your phone. That is fascinating how it does that. I think the measure out does the magnifier. Yes. Well, for old people, the magnifier is. Old people, listen up. Okay. For everybody doing construction, listen up.
Starting point is 00:40:55 There you go. All right. Thank you, guys. Hope you have a great day. everybody. Yeah, the Bobby Bone Show.
