saving places you like without thinking you'll even get them.
Because that's what House Honey,

Oh, there's jazz, right?
And a drop.
You'll see.
Grab a Mickey pretzel on the way.

It's time for the Bobby Bones Post Show.
Here's your host.
Bobby, Bones.
Fun
New York City
The studio's here pretty nice
I don't like being in New York
As in the city
Because I'm just not comfortable
But I've been hunting down
That guy that spit on my wife
Last time, the homeless guy
I can't find him
In the big city?
Yeah, I've been looking around
I've been asking some of the other guys
Hey, you've seen this guy spit on my wife
Because last time we were here
A homeless guy spit on her
And so that's
That's weird
And I'm here for justice, okay?
So if he's listening right now
I'm looking for you
should stay hidden because I'm going to be here for a couple more days.
But we're here. It's fine. It's rained.
Doing the Today Show is awesome. That part of it's really amazing.
But Mike D's here and he's up here for a couple days producing the show.
It's almost like old times.
Mike D. and I've lived together so many times in our professional life.
When he moved here, when we moved to L.A.
for what three months or so, Mike, to do dancing with the stars.
And then Costa Rica.
Mike D. and I have spent some time together.
I think what allows us,
to remain not only good professionally, but also close friends.
Neither one of us talk.
And it's hard to have opinions that are different from each other
when you have no opinion or don't speak any words at all.
And so here we are, or two quiet fellas, taken on New York City.
That right, Mike.
So you can't even hear him.
His microphone's even on.
He didn't even want you to hear him.
But I'm here, and it's been pretty good.
What else have we done here in New York?
Really nothing?
We went to dinner the first night at like an attack.
Italian place. It's like really authentic Italian. And they brought out all these desserts at the end.
And I'm not eating sugar. I'm six days in no sugar and I didn't have, and I love sugar.
If my food groups, you know, soup, smoothies, cereal, and then grab bag, but most of that grab bag is sugar.
And so I've had no sugar for almost a week. I think I had headaches the first couple of days.
Either I didn't have enough water. I was dehydrated or I'm having sugar withdrawal. And I've gotten over that stage.
But here I am. And now I'm on a streak. And now I'm on a streak. And now I'm
never want sugar again.
I never want to have sugar again,
but I want sugar every second.
Does that make sense?
Yes.
But that's my New York life.
I get home tomorrow night,
and I'm home just in time.
What is happening?
I feel like I got the Razorbacks playing Saturday.
I would love to go to that game in Fayetteville.
They're playing South Carolina,
but it's an 11 o'clock a.m. game,
and I only get a couple spots to be able to go back to games,
and do I really want to go to an 11 a.m. game?
Because it's the worst to go to.
But it's like the worst.
pudding.
Why is 11 bad?
It's morning.
It's really early.
Early.
Yeah.
Because you got to get to the tailgate at like 5 a.m.
to start partying.
Oh, Bobby's not a tailgate.
Yeah, but even then the stadium's kind of meh.
You know, it's just every, it's just not active.
Oh.
I like a good, you know, a 3.30 game is fine.
I like a 3.30 game.
I love 6 o'clock, 7 o'clock games.
Those are great.
Those are awesome because I am drunk and ready.
to get crook.
Okay.
So trying to figure out what I'm going to do there.
But yes, here we are.
We're doing a post show.
We're loving life.
And that's it.
And we feel good about it.
A couple things.
One, at the house before I left,
I don't know how they weren't given to me until now.
And I'd like to apologize to everybody
that's ever sent me a wedding invite
or a graduation invite.
But I had probably 40 wedding and graduation invites.
were delivered to me at once, all stacked together.
And I was like, what, how?
And they sent it to my management.
I blame Morgan number one.
Because, was it you, Morgan?
Were you the reason I didn't get them?
Morgan one number one's here.
Can we turn a mic on for her?
Morgan is in New York.
I should have said, Morgan.
It's coming in the room.
She's in a conference room, the window looking in.
I think she tried to talk to a phone microphone or something.
Do you see her lean over?
Yeah.
There she is.
Right there.
Hi, Morgan.
So did you, were you the one that gave me all these cards?
Oh, your mic's not working.
it's okay we'll figure it out which one is it
say hi Morgan
no
can you guys hear her
no no like distantly
we hear her through your mic yeah try
try any of them
Mike why is that not working
we hear Mike now
you hear also oh you do hear Mike yeah
talk
try try try mics
yeah put those headphones on so you can hear them too
first of all it's good to have you back
have you been on the show
except for on the phone.
Oh, we need to check up on that too.
Yes.
Because we never got an update on the dude that was coming over.
Oh, gosh.
Okay, so two things.
One, do you see all the cards I got?
Like, graduation?
Yes, so basically our interns brought up a big stack of mail, and I brought them up to you.
That was it.
That's all.
But they were from, like, April.
I know.
Can we get her volume up?
Why is there?
Yeah, you can barely hear her.
Say how you got me.
Bones, I thought you were controlling the board.
That's why you can't hear, Eddie.
That's why it's not working.
A little bit.
Try again.
I'm right on the mind.
There you go.
There you go.
There we go.
Okay, so the interns were hiding my mail.
Apparently.
I will take the blame.
Well, here's the thing.
If I'd have got him in time,
I'd have been at every one of those weddings.
Wow.
That's pretty awesome.
I feel bad for those people.
It's all my fault.
I'm so sorry, guys.
It is.
So I got those and I went through every one of them.
And then there's a dude that came to your house updating a segment
and he was good looking, and you said,
and he left his number.
He did.
He's going to do some house repair.
And then you texted him.
We told you to text him.
I text him.
I hate this update.
I wish that it was better.
I texted him.
So basically my wall is broken at my house.
He came and he looked at the wall.
And I sent him a text after I talked to you guys, just asking a question about the wall.
So it was totally work related.
I wanted to just sneak in there with like something work related and then get to the flirting
if it was going to happen.
But he never responded.
He never responded.
So I looked him up on Facebook and he is in a relationship.
Okay, weird that he wouldn't respond at all, though.
Aside from a relationship, because I understand secondarily that it's like,
oh, it's disappointing.
But why would he not respond at all if it's a professional question for a job he came to your house to possibly do?
I don't know.
You think he was so attracted to you, it made him nervous.
That's possible.
Then you'd probably start immediately.
Likely.
And love, merit, all that.
I've gotten that a lot.
But we're literally using a different company now because he didn't respond.
Wow.
So yeah.
I mentioned being, because we're all in New York right now, and I mentioned my wife getting spit on by the homeless guy, but you were with my wife.
And you also were spit at or on, which one?
Spit on.
So you both got spit on.
Can you tell the story?
Because I wasn't there.
Yes.
So we had just walked out of a store.
We were doing a little shopping.
And this guy just rushed us.
And we took a couple steps.
back because that's just human nature to step away from somebody charging at you.
And that apparently made him bad, like really mad.
And he hawked a lugy at us and spit.
It hit like our ankles and our feet.
But still, it was really, really disgusting.
What do you think would have happened had you not moved?
I think he would have grabbed probably her.
She was the closest one.
He was clearly on some drugs or something.
Not completely right.
But it was definitely scary.
and jarring.
We were shaken up.
You saw us just a few minutes later.
I brought five guys here.
One of them's probably,
Bobby Ham.
Will you point him out if there's one of them's him?
Come on here,
guys.
I grabbed five homeless guys.
It's that one over there.
Yeah.
I'm looking for him.
Trying to find.
I was just right around the corner.
I don't know what I would have done.
I think I would have shoved him and started kicking him.
I wouldn't have punched him.
I think I would have shoved him immediately and then started kicking the crap out of him.
I walked away and looked at Caitlin was like,
I'm so glad Bobby wasn't here because.
I'd probably got in trouble.
Yeah.
This would have gone really bad.
I don't want to punch anybody is because I don't want to hurt my hands.
That's all.
Okay.
I'm a wimp.
But I can shove someone to the ground and I put my leg behind their legs and they fall down.
Then I start kicking the crap out of them.
I think you probably could have taken this guy.
He was not in his right mind for sure.
But he's probably big though.
That's why you see him and you go even though he's big, Bobby can sure take him.
Big guy, muscular probably does weight lifting.
It wasn't that big either, but you know.
How's everything else happening in your life?
Good.
I can't complain.
Things are going well.
You all know Morgan really well.
Morgan was the executive producer before Scoo Steve was.
Eddie, you see Morgan plenty because she's with us a bit when we perform, right?
Yeah. Amy, how often do you see Morgan?
Not that much. I mean, I feel like a lot because on social media, I see her and I watch her videos, but I wish I saw her more.
And you still do middays of Morgan?
I do. Yeah, here and there I do.
And then your name now is Morgan as cool or something? What is it?
No, now it's just Morgan Massengill, just my name.
Okay. What it used to be?
It was radio girl Morgan
And then I changed it to Rad Girl Morgan for a while
Got it got it
And I'm getting older Bobby
Girl just didn't seem to suit anymore
All right well it's good to talk to you
But Rad did
Well rad from radio
She just removed two letters
She made it basically the same
Lunch I see nothing's changed
But
Lunchbox when have you seen Morgan last
I don't know
I ran into Lunchbox
At a Publix one day
He was doing a hidden mic
segment. You saw him doing that? Yeah, and he came up to me. Yeah, I saw her. She was unmasked.
It was in the middle of COVID. Okay. I'm just saying. Is that why you've had COVID nine times, Morgan?
I have had it a few times. I get a call from Morgan about every week. Hey, I got COVID. I'm like, you had it last week. I'd have it again. I've had it three times. He had it three times. All right, all right, Morgan. Thank you. On that note. It's good to see it at the grocery store, Morgan. Yeah, let's do it again. Did you guys talk lunchbox? I said hi and she goes, I got COVID. I got COVID.
I'm like, and you don't have a man.
Oh, she had COVID then too?
What if she's never had COVID guys?
And this is just her thing all the time.
I got COVID.
I can't do it.
Okay, thanks Morgan.
I do want to mention this.
We talked in the show about Ray N. Bay, his wife, winning over $5,000 at the slides.
I've never won crap at the slots.
I don't play the slots that often.
But I've never won even a little bit, playing just a little bit.
So that's awesome news.
But you went five grand.
I was watching your Instagram stories because you went for your birthday.
And I also saw in your story that Abby was singing at a bar.
Now, Ray, how did this happen?
happen? Abby and Bezer were talking and so they met up with us, let's say, around 9 o'clock at
night with her family, and then we went to Losers Bar at our hotel, which is a country bar,
but there was a dude performing on stage, so it's not karaoke, where you just go up there
and let drunk people do it. And so Abby had said something, we've been drinking, and she goes,
hey, I would love to go sing. And I mean, she only had a couple, and I said, you really want to
sing? And her parents were there. It was a pretty cool moment. Her dad. Is he recently retired,
or what is he just chilling out now?
He's, okay, he's, he's loving life.
There are two options.
He's either retired or chilling out means he just doesn't have a job anymore,
was fired.
No, he's earned what he's chilling.
So he's retired, and he wanted to really see her perform.
He said that would mean a lot to him.
So I was like, you know what, guys, I'm like kind of an agent type guy, like doing
negotiations.
Let me talk to the manager.
So I did, and it failed.
Then about 20 minutes later, yeah, I did.
What did you say?
Did you name drop?
No, I just had said, hey, I got a girl.
She's pretty talented.
She can sing.
She'd love to go sing with that guy, and they said, well, we've paid him a lot of.
They actually flew him in from Nashville to perform.
And they go, well, we're not just going to have a karaoke person come up and sing.
We're not allowed to do that.
So then I had to regroup and get a little bit sober and decide how I was going to do it.
So then I went back to him and I pitched it as I'm going to do an Instagram live and I'll make sure I show losers bar.
A lot of people in Nashville.
We have people all over America that listen to our show.
So you used the show that time.
That time you did name drop.
Yeah.
Okay, got it.
So I went that route and they said, heck yeah.
So they said let she gets to play one hit.
And so then she went on and did.
heads Carolina tells California
and she rocked it
but yeah that's the story
Abby how did you feel about Ray
crow barring you in
and then your performance both
I honestly didn't know he did that
he was like hey you have five minutes pick a song
that's all he said
yeah he disappeared for a while
he's like hold on and then he came back and he's like
okay you got to pick something they're only letting you do one song
what is it and I wanted to do a different song
but the guy came up and he's like, look, like, I could get fired if you mess up or anything.
So I was like, okay, I'll just do the one I'm most comfortable with.
Oh, my God.
Yeah.
That is pressure.
Bobby, you've created a monster.
Why so?
That she thinks she's good enough to just go.
Like, she thinks she can just drop in at bars in cities and sing.
Well, she didn't, by the way.
By the way, Ray is the one that made it happen.
Hold on.
Hold on.
This is what Carrie Underwood can do or Garth Brooks.
Abby is not good enough.
And so when you watch the video, it isn't good.
And I even texted Ray and his wife.
I said, save me the video.
And they were so protective of Abby because they knew it wasn't good.
They didn't save the video for me.
It was alive.
He forgot to save it.
No, he put it on his story.
And I said, hey, save that video.
I need it.
And they both happened.
Oh, we forgot.
To show you guys that it is so bad that, I mean, not only was Abby bad, the guy was bad too.
Uh-uh.
He was not.
Yes, he was.
I can't. No, he's a performer, Amy.
He should know he's bad.
Wait, did you actually watch it?
You watched a lot?
Yeah, that's what I'm wondering.
How did the lunchbox know if he?
Ray put it on his Instagram story.
But you don't follow anybody.
You don't follow Ray.
And I thought it was alive and you don't follow anybody.
That's a good point, guys.
I don't understand what you mean by a live.
Ray put the video in his Instagram story.
But you had to go search it.
And so I said, oh.
So how did you know if you didn't follow him and didn't pop up on your?
Because someone posted on the Sword Losers.
Facebook page that Ray hits some money on the on the lunchbox lives on Facebook.
They hit something on the slot machine.
So I assumed Ray would put it in his on Instagram.
And then as I'm looking at the Instagram for the slot machines, oh, what do you know?
Abby's on stage singing with some dude and it's awful.
And so that's when I texted.
I immediately texted Ray and his wife.
Save that video for me because I need it.
And they both go, oh, sorry, we forgot.
Ah, like, I mean...
Well, it's always an archive.
It's always in...
If it's on a story, it's an archive story.
Oh, then, Ray, what's going on?
But if he doesn't want to give it to, he doesn't want to give it to you.
Exactly, because he knows that it wasn't good.
Abby, how did you feel about your performance?
I thought it went well.
It was awesome.
The managers looked happy because they were right down there.
So they were like, oh, man, we want to book you?
No, that's not what I was trying to do.
I was just like, this is a cool.
Bobby, you've created a monster that she thinks she can drop into bars and sing.
Well, she did.
She can.
Okay.
Well, Ray made it happen.
Thank you.
And I think Abby's getting, actually getting better as well at the same time.
She's performing so much.
I think she's actually starting to get a little better.
If it was so good, then why wouldn't they give us the audio?
I don't know.
I can't read Ray's name.
Go ahead and ask Ray.
Ask Ray why I wouldn't give it to us.
Ray was calling $3,400 bucks, $3.4,000 earlier.
I have no idea why Ray think certain things.
Ray, any response to this before we move off of it?
I did a live and you have to save the live immediately.
It doesn't exist.
So mine doesn't exist.
The only audio was through my wife's,
and my wife said she's not giving it to me
because she didn't want you to make fun Abby.
Exactly.
She knew your angle, but she wasn't saying it was bad.
She just knew what you were going to say to her.
Well, let everybody else judge.
Okay, well, can I...
I've just been handed it...
Hold on.
I've just been handed a page by Mike D.
Let's walk to the segment called
Who's a better singer, Abby, or a random dude.
What?
Okay.
What?
You pitched that?
You did this?
No, no, it's not pitched.
He already went out and did it, apparently.
No.
Hey, just hand it to me.
Here we go.
Over the break.
Let me just read to you of what it's written.
Over the break, lunchbox was down in Florida,
and while at a bar, he heard his singer crushing it.
Lunchbox, we want to set this up at all?
Yeah, so, I mean, I didn't get to go on my original vacation,
so we just drove down to Florida like a little three-day thing
because we were like, man, we've got to do something.
And we're just at a restaurant,
and there's this dude singing on the patio of the beach.
And I'm like, man, this dude's freaking good.
Like, this is what, and this is dude just in a random place in Florida.
This ain't some guy that is getting everything handed to him.
He's out here grinding.
He needs some recognition.
And this tells you, Abby,
that you need to get more talent.
Go ahead.
Okay, what's his name?
Letchwarks?
I have no idea.
You said, get him recognition.
He didn't have his name.
He didn't have a freaking banner up there.
But you just said...
Well, a lot of times they do have their name or their Instagram or their Venmo.
Now we'll never find him.
But also, you just said, get him recognition.
He's getting no recognition because you don't know his name.
I mean, someone will recognize his voice.
Oh, my God.
Okay.
Here is a guy doing killing me softly.
And there he was this young boy.
Strange you to my...
I mean, it's really good.
Yeah, really.
I'm saying.
I wish we knew his name.
But there's not a competition.
I'm just saying that that's the kind of guy.
That guy is just at a bar in Florida, like on a beach, like trying to make it.
Maybe he doesn't want to make it.
Maybe he loves a beach life.
I don't know, man.
Hey, Abby, do you know that song?
I do.
Would you care to sing that chorus?
Let's go.
Let's go.
Get it.
We're softly with his song.
Killing me softly with his song.
Telling my whole life.
with his words
killing me softly
Come on, that's good, Abby.
That was good.
And on the spot.
Lexbox,
you got to admit
she's actually getting better
from even where she was
when we thought she was pretty good.
If you guys think that's getting better,
I mean,
it still sounds like a nasal
like she's singing through her nose style.
Do you have anything?
No, no, that's how you sound.
It's not all I have,
it's how you sound.
La, la, la, la.
Hold on.
Here's thing.
She's actually less nasal,
if that's your complete.
plain than she was when she first started singing again.
I mean, you want to know how good that was?
Amy put her face in her hands.
No, no.
I didn't look at Amy.
I can't say it.
I can't look at anybody.
I have to sit across from lunchbox.
There's no doubt.
Amy,
that had nothing to do with you.
Did you put your hands in your...
Don't speak for me.
Did you put your head in your hands?
Don't speak for me.
Abby, that sounded good.
Abby, Amy's a hater too.
Amy's a hater.
Put her on the hater squad.
She did put her...
She did.
Yes, because I can't lunch.
I can't look at lunchbox.
I wouldn't even looking at you.
I have to look at you.
I'm looking right at you.
So if I put my head down, I don't have to look at you.
Hey, Abby.
So without that song playing, I'm going to just kind of go back to you here.
So just start from the part that says,
strum in my pain with his fingers.
Uh-huh.
Can you, yeah, would you mind doing that?
Strum in my pain with his fingers.
Sharing my life with his words.
killing me softly with his song
killing me softly
with his song
telling my whole life
with his words
killing me softly
come on
I made up some of the words obviously
and that's what we do now
but hey I kept singing
absolutely that's what we do now
we mess up we act like we didn't mess up and we keep going
yes great job
thank you and Amy
Amy was watching the whole time.
Thank you.
And I just looked at you, not lunchbox.
Don't want me in with lunchbox.
I'm not a hater.
I look at you. I look at lunchbox.
Thank you.
Eddie, what did you think about that?
I thought that was great, man.
I mean, on the spot like that,
it's Abby, and Bobby's exactly right.
You have gotten so much better.
Like, even since we started talking about this
and lunchbox started hating,
you've gotten so much better.
So she was bad back then.
Well, no.
Just people get better.
Artists say it's like a muscle.
If you work it out, you get stronger.
To get better doesn't mean you were once awful.
We can always get better.
Tom Brady can get better.
He may go 22 for 29 at a game
with four touchdowns. Can he get better?
Yeah. He sure again. And sometimes he does.
And why am I talking like sidebelt?
Is it a corner?
How good was my dude?
He's pretty good, but I wish me into his name.
Dang, man, we can bring him in.
Well, your whole point was recognition.
That's my...
No, his whole point was like, look at those guys.
Better than Abby.
But Abby also just killed it.
But listen to this dude again.
No, I'm not listening to him again.
Hey, Ray.
you're trying to be Abby's agent in real life
Well and just in that we kind of signed a basic contract
Just with a napkin
Well no it was happening
It was just a napkin and some mascara
We made some signage
But anyways my thing is this
I told her if I'm in a bar
It is my promise to her
I always try to get her on stage
And that's something I can do
Because I feel like I have the gift of gab
Where I can talk to a manager
You told the guy you're from my show
Well I did have to use that again
Just because they had flown the dude out
He gets paid thousands to fly to another city
And play at a bar that we already have
here. Why would he not just play this one?
It made no sense to me, but yeah, we were able to
finagle that. It was pretty sweet.
Abby, don't give Ray any of your money.
I don't know.
I didn't know what the terms were I forget.
Hey, Bobby, Bobby.
Abby's not making any money.
Not yet. Not yet. Until you
make money, sometimes you make no money.
Yeah, like tips or something. I made
crap. I mean, crap forever.
And so. I'm going to try to find that guy's name.
Yeah, good luck with that.
So, Amy, you said you were shocked to see something when you're booking an appointment.
What was it?
Oh, my goodness.
I'm just going to pull it up so I can read it to you verbatim.
Where were you?
It was for a massage place, like this very particular kind of massage.
I've gone before, but it's been years.
And I do remember the woman being really pretty.
So I'm on her website, and you can book through her website.
And when you're on the booking page, it says,
in all caps, attention mail clients.
We do not offer happy endings.
Unfortunately, enough pervert encounters have forced us to explicitly state this to all new mail clients.
Please keep your junk covered at all times.
Wow.
I can't believe they'd have to actually put that, that it's happened so many times.
I know my mind was blown, but, I mean, they said it there.
Unfortunately, enough encounters have happened.
where they just put it on their booking site.
Crazy.
I just can't imagine.
I don't think I know a guy that would try that.
Does that mean that they actually are asking for it?
Like they're like being like, hey, do you guys do that here?
Or do they just expect it?
Or they just pull, you know, and they're like.
Yeah, I think at the end they're just like, okay, well, it's crazy.
Here we go.
Final thing.
I know.
Right?
I've never seen that on a, I even double-checked.
I was on the right website.
Like, where am I right now?
But yeah, which, I mean, made me sad for her because that sucks.
Like, she, like, you know, she might get to a point where she's like, eh, I don't even work on men anymore.
Amen, sister.
Yeah.
Tomorrow, tickets go on sale for my comedically inspirational show in Las Vegas at the Win.
That's a big deal to me.
To play The Win? Are you kidding me?
It's crazy.
I couldn't believe it.
And so I couldn't believe when they came and said, hey, will you play?
and I say yes
And so I'm having to only pay a little bit to play
So I'm only going to go on the whole sum
But if you guys want to come
This is the only show I'm going to do
I think out of Nashville
I'm not touring the show at all
But in Vegas we're trying to do something to the west
Because a lot of our listeners in Colorado
California in Vegas
In Nevada
We can't come to your Nashville shows
So this is the one
It's going on sell tomorrow
Listen there's a controversy right now
On which 10 a.m.
The tickets are going to go on sell
If I'm being honest
I'm still going to see
say 10 a.m. Central, 8 a.m. Pacific.
Outside chance, not until 10 a.m. Pacific.
But it is what it is. I've said what I said.
I hope you guys come, and I think that's it. I think we're pretty good there.
Hey, Bones, if you want to play losers in Vegas, Ray can get you a little spot there too?
Sweet. Ray, can you?
Yeah. I go up to the guy. I record myself, like, hey, man, any way I can play here?
And he's like, no, no. I guess I'll just go to the win.
That would be awesome.
And then I text him.
Hey, bud. Sorry, I couldn't play there.
But, yeah, that'd be funny.
Okay, that's it.
Thank you guys.
I guess.
Lunchbox, what's the SOR Loser's schedule this week since Monday didn't happen?
Yeah, we did one yesterday and we'll do one tomorrow.
Monday, Wednesday, Friday.
We didn't do Monday because vacation.
But, yeah, we did one yesterday.
We'll do one tomorrow.
Sourd losers.
Otherwise, I think that's it.
Thank you guys.
We will see it tomorrow and have a good day.
Bye, everybody.

Grab a Mickey Brussels on the way.
