Starting point is 00:00:00 This is an I-Heart podcast. Guaranteed Human. This is Julian Edelman, host of games with names. On our latest episode, we got comedian, Blake Anderson from Workaholics and The Hilarious. This is Important Podcast. Let's go. We did beat them in improv. You had an improv against the team?
Starting point is 00:00:18 Yes. We would pull up their schools would be there with signs for us. It's competition. What you would win is a bottle of gold shlogger. James Fester threw it out of a van because he didn't want us drinking it. For more games with names, visit the IHeartRadial app or wherever you get your podcast. It's Financial Literacy Month, and the podcast, Eating While Broke, is bringing real conversations about money, growth, and building your future. This month, hear from top streamer, Zoe Spencer and venture capitalist Lakeisha Landrum Pierre,
Starting point is 00:00:49 as they share their journeys from starting out to leveling up. There's an economic component to communities thriving. If there's not enough money and entrepreneurship happening in communities, they failed. Listen to Eating While Broke from the Black Effect Podcast Network on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. Hey, I'm Dr. Maya Shunker, a cognitive scientist and hosts of the podcast, a slight change of plans, a show about who we are and who we become when life makes other plans. I wish that I hadn't resisted for so long the need to change. We have to be willing to live with a kind of uncertainty that none of us likes. You can have opinions. You can have like a strong stance.
Starting point is 00:01:34 And then there's your body having its own program. Listen to a slight change of plans on the I-Heart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. It's time for the Bobby Bones Post Show. Here's your host, Bobby Bones. What a joyous occasion. What a day. There are a few days of this show where I'm not. I feel like somebody's life was changed, and today is Eddie.
Starting point is 00:02:06 I'm a brand new man. He saw the lot. Man, it looks good. Thank you, man. It's got to feel weird, but it looks good. Yeah, yeah. And, I mean, I just saw myself in a mirror for a little bit. Like, so, I mean, I'm not looking at myself the whole time,
Starting point is 00:02:20 but it just feels weird to know that I have hair on my head. I think you'll learn how to style it more your style. Oh, yeah? Like, I think a little bit it's a little like a opie right now. What does that mean? Opie. It's kind of got a weird, like a weird part to it. Like the side looks great.
Starting point is 00:02:36 The top, it looks real. But it's like how you have it like on the side, like to the side. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I have a comb, man. So what do you want to do? You got to stop with the cone. The comb is not a thing. What do you want to do?
Starting point is 00:02:46 Cone it straight. Come it straight. Honestly, it doesn't move that much. Really? Kind of like set. So if I need, if I, she told me that if I want a different style, go back in. I think if you just having it on for a couple days, it's, it just looks so rigid. Like, like you, like I was going to do a TV shoot and they harden my hair.
Starting point is 00:03:02 Yes, but I think that's the way it's going to stay because of whatever they put in it. I can wash it. Yeah, I think it loses some of the rigidity a bit. Yeah, it's like when you get a haircut and they put stuff in it. That's what just happened because they wanted to look good when you leave the place. She knew she's going to be on camera. Your hair looks good. I give it actually an A.
Starting point is 00:03:20 Wow. Not even A minus. I give it an A. Thank you, man. I don't give it an A plus yet because I need to see it after a few days. I mean, Amy says I look like a movie star. But which one is the question? I said you look.
Starting point is 00:03:32 familiar to the big screen. Like something about you when he walked in. You didn't say you like familiar to the big screen. No, I clarified after I said it because you were like,
Starting point is 00:03:39 whoa, whoa, pump the brakes. Don't say he's a movie star. Well, it felt fake and he can't believe other compliments you're saying if you're like, you look like a movie star.
Starting point is 00:03:45 Okay, but I clarified because it wasn't fake. Is it too real though? Like, is it like, oh, movie star because it looks too, too real. What do you mean too real?
Starting point is 00:03:52 You know, on the screen like you see Tom Cruise like, I know he doesn't look like that in real life. It's too real. I think if I were to see you Nothing, because you look like a normal dude It's a normal guy
Starting point is 00:04:04 Yeah It looks good It looks good as if it doesn't even really Like that weird to me anymore Because it's not like a treasure troll or something Like the guys of the pink hair Yeah it's not Your hair is not
Starting point is 00:04:15 I wish it were funnier I mean honestly It's like a new thing for me around town I'm gonna just keep Every guy I see with hair I'm gonna be like Hmm Oh well now I wonder
Starting point is 00:04:24 Now I'm gonna think everyone has these Everyone And again the ultimate twist Would have been had I showed you mine Right here today Feels off I think you all close a lot more business deals. What are you talking about?
Starting point is 00:04:35 Why? Look at his hair. You know what, though? I do feel like I could probably join Old Dominion because all those dudes have good hair. They're your age. You have good hair. You know what I mean? Like, they all have good hair, good styles.
Starting point is 00:04:45 Wait, I didn't know that hair was associated with business deals because like Jeff Bezos. Well, he's the owner, though. Yeah, he's like making the decision. That's not hiring. And also he had hair for a while, but then he shaved it bald. When he went bald, he went full F everybody. Yeah. Like military.
Starting point is 00:05:01 Wait, so what was his hair? like before. I don't think I remember that. It was fading. It was always fading. Then he had the little circle. That's one who's selling like books only. Loser. Now look at him.
Starting point is 00:05:11 God, old is crap and a boss. You look good. You think that because I have hair now, I have a better chance. Jeff Bezos had long hair for a while. Really? I got to look at this. Wow. In 98, he started to lose it a little bit. And that...
Starting point is 00:05:25 Well, that's a... That's AI. You're telling me, people can Photoshop stuff. Oh, boy. Regardless. Here's a hair train. There's a picture for Jeff Bezos as a kid, right?
Starting point is 00:05:37 Yeah, he had a lot of hair. That can't be real, Eddie. That's fake. These do look fake, man. Oh, this is the one we saw with long hair. Yeah, but look at like the black and white picture of Jeff Bezos. Do you see that one? Looks good.
Starting point is 00:05:49 Anyway. Oh, right there. I think any, listen, unfairly, I think the height of a man affects what they're able to accomplish. We read this all the time. Just the physical anything of anybody affects how someone one interprets them unfairly at times.
Starting point is 00:06:05 Yeah, that's not good. So, hey, is Abby in there? Ray, would you ever bring in the thing from my office? Yep. I want to show you got something. But it looks really good. Thank you. Feels good.
Starting point is 00:06:17 It's going to feel weird for a while. And then it's going to be nothing. Yeah, because like when I smile, I feel it pulling my hair. Oh, cool. You know what I mean? Me too every time. That's what we feel like.
Starting point is 00:06:25 Really? Yeah, I want to introduce you guys to somebody new. So sometimes if I'm working from another studio and you're all sitting around here, like, this is Bobby number two. What? I'm going to sit at the desk. Oh, no. Oh, no.
Starting point is 00:06:36 Remember when we found this on eBay? It's here. It's a cutout. It's a live-sized cutout of me. We bought it that day, and it came from like another country. That is not life-size. You're not that big.
Starting point is 00:06:46 Well, his feet are like two inches off the ground, though. Yeah, because there's cardboard. It's elevated off the ground a couple inches. Let's see. I mean, the head's right. No, no, I mean, just the head's right. How tall is it compared to me? It's like two inches tall are you?
Starting point is 00:06:59 That's like two inches tall are you? And at the bottom, it's got like two inches. of white underneath it. It's a light-sized cutout. It says it's six foot one. Stand behind it. Why? And just talk.
Starting point is 00:07:10 Of course I'm going to hump it. Bones, is that weird? You're self. I've never seen one of those before. I got a question. What are we doing with that thing? When I'm gone and Eddie's running cameras if I'm somewhere where there's not a camera,
Starting point is 00:07:20 meaning because I don't always have a webcam. So let's say I put it behind the desk and everybody's still here. Let's say I'm working from a different studio. Yeah, I mean, look, there it is. But you can still hear me. I'm on the microphone. I'm like blah, blah, blah, blah.
Starting point is 00:07:31 But you just show. that. Can Eddie do that thing where he makes your mouth move? No, you don't have to. But it's just like a hold on Netflix when they do the little mouse, like when it's in a different language. How funny is this? What?
Starting point is 00:07:45 Is that what you're talking about? No, I mean like on TikTok where they. There's a voiceover. There's a voice over. No. No, you go into like a still image, something that's not moving and you can make the mouth. Oh.
Starting point is 00:07:56 For like a feature. But that was a bit or I was like, I can't believe they're selling that on the the internet. Don't buy it. but then I bought one just to see if it would come back or it was scam. And it's real. How much did you spend on that? I need to look.
Starting point is 00:08:08 You don't want to know, Amy. I don't think it was that expensive. You want one? Let me sign one for you, give it to you? Over a Benji? No. What's a Benji? 100.
Starting point is 00:08:15 Oh. How much 50 bucks? Oh, that's not bad. Also buy a big head, just the head like they hold up in basketball games. Yeah. But I thought the real use for that would be if we still need to do video. Sometimes we don't do video content if I'm not here, because I'm in an empty desk,
Starting point is 00:08:31 but I'm in a studio in some other city where there's not a camera. I would love to see you try to pull this off with your wife. She's like, I need more time and you're busy. Ferris Bueller. And you're like, it's okay, baby, I got you something. I'm here. I'm here.
Starting point is 00:08:43 You're just always in the kitchen. It's so bizarre that somebody made that. Yeah. Bones, you know what I just thought? Dude, you leave that in here when we're not in here and somebody breaks in the studio? Freak him out. Oh, oh, Bobby's here.
Starting point is 00:08:55 I'm just standing there, though. So? They don't know. Just staring. I'm not even blinking. Yeah, it came pretty quick, though. Isn't that weird? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:04 I don't even make any money off this. I sue them. You could probably do that. No one, why would anybody want that? I'm not going to make any money off that. And if it's another country, like how, I mean, what do you do, you know? How do we know there's not a camera and they're spying for whatever country there is? We got some real government secrets in this room.
Starting point is 00:09:20 So anyway, there's that. Finally came in the mail. And they did a pretty good job, though, right? Like, it's thick. It's me. Yeah, they just cut you out They printed you and cut you out And then Abby just put it together this morning
Starting point is 00:09:34 Oh, he doesn't come and put together That's what I was thinking Shipped like that long Well that's why when you said it was only $50 I'm like man that seems like a lot to ship that thing For only 50 bucks It's just folded I didn't know the guy sorry I've never bought a cardboard
Starting point is 00:09:49 Cut Out of somebody I don't know these things But even your brain doesn't go I bet it's not sent that long No Huh He thought that like they got it in the plane All right watch here's the body
Starting point is 00:09:58 All right. Go around the stair. No, but I mean, you buy a big screen. It doesn't come folded. It comes as a big screen. So I thought they just put that in a big box, a long, skinny box. Do you remember that photo shoot? Like, where, where's that from?
Starting point is 00:10:13 It looks like it isn't, maybe you're an event. Yeah. No idea. They grabbed you from like a red carpet. Because I don't have that shirt. Meaning most things I take photos in, you eventually get the clothes. You're like.
Starting point is 00:10:25 Yeah. That's funny. So I have that. Mike, did they have any other full ones of me? Did you see? Oh, formal day. Don't buy more. Formal day at school? No, formal day at work. Or it just depends what kind of mood I'm in. Yeah, dress casual or...
Starting point is 00:10:42 Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Wow, that is weird. So, like, do what do we call that? That's Bobby Jr. Okay. Oh, my gosh. Yeah. Do we should have a formal day? Like, one day we all wear suits.
Starting point is 00:10:55 Will you send me that link again? That's a terrible idea. Why? That's hilarious. Do they have anybody else on the show or just me? Are you sure, Mike? They got to have a lunchbox on there. That guy's famous.
Starting point is 00:11:05 Yeah, he's super famous. I guess it's world. But I just feel weird buying it because I'm not made. Somebody's making money off of me. Yeah, but they provided you with a product. But I, it's of me. Now you're going to use it. It's of me.
Starting point is 00:11:20 The radio station should buy this. Yeah. We can make their own. Oh, that's a sticker. What the heck is all that? Mike, what's that BB one? Is that a full one too? Walmart?
Starting point is 00:11:30 No Go over one Walmart Uh-oh Call your manager Somebody's making money off you It's I'm on the Walmart side Being sold to the full cut out
Starting point is 00:11:41 Uh-oh How does that happen? Huh Okay yeah send me that link It's just a parade Of all me I do have parade Oh my gosh
Starting point is 00:11:54 Do you have different clothes on these? Yeah all different clothes I have this look I have one that's kind of in between And then I have one in a suit I should just send this To take the pictures The way took the picture
Starting point is 00:12:04 the other day. Gosh, people think of everything. But like, there can't be that many people buying this one. Like, what? For my 40th birthday, my friend Andrea ordered me a life-size cutout of George Strait, and it was awesome.
Starting point is 00:12:17 He's famous, though. We all took pictures with him. It was great. Yeah, send me that whole link, Mike. I know you sent him before, but I'll just... It's like he was there. I mean, I bet, like, this company, you can probably send him your picture
Starting point is 00:12:27 and they'll make one of you. But that's different. That's actual service with a person going, I'd like to have a picture of this. They're selling live-size-cutouts out to me to anybody who wants to buy one already ready to go. Yeah, using your likeness. Yeah, weird. Okay, I'm done with this.
Starting point is 00:12:40 An image. Yeah. So, go to bobbybones.com. You guys can help out. Our Pimp and Joy stuff's awesome. And U.S. Air Force technical sergeant Daniel Beasting has been through a bunch, serving, all the stuff that happened to him there. And then he comes back and he gets a home built for him and his needs, and then the hurricane
Starting point is 00:12:58 hits him and blows it away. So we're trying to build him at home. All of our Pimp and Joy stuff is up now. We don't keep any of the money. It's a whole new look. It's a whole new design. I initially, I told Amy, I said, hey, let's not say that Caitlin designed him
Starting point is 00:13:11 because I don't really want her to fill the criticism if people don't like them. And then all I know is Hately said, Amy text me asked if I could use. So how I said it. Amy went above the parents' head. Oh, no. You want me to redo the text?
Starting point is 00:13:23 Nope, because I want to feel this way. Okay, but that's not, that's not accurate feeling. So I would like to correct you if I may. No, you may not. So anyway, Amy jumped. I didn't. over and went, hey, what do you think about this? And she's like, yeah, I don't care.
Starting point is 00:13:36 Jumped rank. Is that what you call that? Well, I don't think it's a rank. Well, you know, that's an expression. Bobby. Went over the helmet. Yeah, go ahead. You don't really feel that way.
Starting point is 00:13:44 Who knows how I feel? Or am I just doing a bit? But go ahead. What was that Velcro? She has these, like, suction cups behind her phone. What's the crap was that? I know. It's so annoying.
Starting point is 00:13:54 But I can stick it on the wall. Oh, it's got suction in the back of her phone? Yeah. She'll lose it like that. She'll be like, I don't know where my phone is. It'd be stuck to the shower. Go ahead. I'm going to read it.
Starting point is 00:14:07 Don't leave anything out. I promise I will. Because I'll do that crap in therapy. Let me read this text message. And I'll leave some words out that I said. You do that. I'll read it. Go ahead.
Starting point is 00:14:16 Okay. I just posted the fun reel giving a full sneak peek. People are going to love. Bobby was sweet today when I asked about sharing if you design and he said to lay low on it in case rude people use it as a chance to be awful humans. Fishing for her to say that. I get where he's coming from. I hate that you have to deal with that. As your friend, I want to protect you too. Also as your friend, I want you to know that's why I didn't say
Starting point is 00:14:38 anything about you designing them in parentheses. I don't want you to think I'm not proud because I am. Is that fishing for her to go? No, it's okay. Yeah, a little bit. Well, no, but I also felt awkward of like, I'm posting all this and Caitlin worked really hard on it. And I didn't, I didn't know what you had talked to her about. And I don't want her to go look and be like, oh, well, that's weird. Amy didn't tag me or anything. And she worked really hard on it. So I wanted as her friend to know that I'm proud, but we're also, her mental health is our top priority. And people can be really, really rude. That's a midfish. I'm okay with it. It is a cool design. You're about the only person that I would trust to do a midfish to know
Starting point is 00:15:15 that I'm being a bit irrational. But in a productive way, you're about the only person I would trust to midfish me. So then she says, why don't you hold your hand in the air? Because she replied back that she that I could post it and that's really sweet and then I said I said here's what I said exactly let me tell you what I said I said if you talk about yeah yeah why you're scrolling right yeah why you're trying to find which one I want to write that good bait I do this therapy with my therapist too I'm a I'm an expert when I stall he knows I've skipped some stuff she raises her hand and then scrolls about there's other stuff that we were texting like Gracie texted me saying go Caitlin, like it looks so good, and Gracie sent me a screenshot of someone saying,
Starting point is 00:15:55 whoever designed these this year deserves a raise. Like, can't wait to order. And I said, Gracie just sent me that. And then I said, if you talk to Bobby, because she had said, it's cool, say it's me. And I said, well, if you talk to Bobby, y'all let me know, I don't want to overstep. Hmm. You still midfished. But it's okay.
Starting point is 00:16:13 I wouldn't call it a midfish. I would call it a, I felt awkward as her friend, not shouting her out, shouting her out. But I think there are only a few people in my life that allow to be a, a midfish, even a, hey, I think this is kind of dumb for different reasons. You're definitely one of them. You'll even stop me during the countdown if I don't say something right. Like, you have that authority. You have that autonomy over going, hey, you didn't say that right. So I'm cool with that midfish with her. And you have a relationship with her, a close relationship, so I'm all good with that. Mike definitely has the authority to go like, nope, don't like that,
Starting point is 00:16:47 shut that down. We'll move that here. Let's do this here. Eddie as a friend will be like, hey, dude, that's not a good thing as a human. Not like I'm like robbing stores or stealing babies. But it's like, you know, we have to. So people have different. I trust very few people to be able to be not to be irritated when that happens. And I'm not irritated. Good.
Starting point is 00:17:08 You're more than welcome. So like when I tell my kids like don't do this and then they go to mom, is this kind of like the same thing? That piss me off. Right. Hey. Somebody's going to get whooped. kind of the same thing yeah
Starting point is 00:17:21 but I get upset but not here because I think Amy has the emotional intelligence to know when at times I'm being overly something that she can go ooh he may be
Starting point is 00:17:32 because she knows me Amy maybe a little crazy so let me go on midfish this and see how it really is on the other side and she did and she won my wife literally just text me she goes I'm getting so many nice messages
Starting point is 00:17:43 from people about the Pimp of Joy stuff crying emoji there you go I was just being protective my wife just texted me and she said, can I get the new Pimp and Joy hoodie? I love it. The design's awesome. Anybody else's wife?
Starting point is 00:17:55 She said, who designed it? No, she said. Exactly. Caitlin. My wife just texted me, can I get that designer's name? Maybe they can design some family shirts for us. Lunchbox's the wife text them. Can I troll that person who texted that?
Starting point is 00:18:08 No, really. But that is sweet. And yes, everybody's, yes, there's stuff up here. My wife just texted that. Yeah, I mean, literally, Caitlin just texted that too. What on Earth? Okay. We're going to take a little mid-roll here,
Starting point is 00:18:16 but our Pimp and Joy stuff, we don't keep any money, and we're building a home for a hero, and you can literally spend like 20 bucks, 25 bucks, whatever. And we don't keep any of it, and it will make a big, big, big difference. It's all up at Bobbybones.com. Okay, let's do a middle.
Starting point is 00:18:28 On a recent episode of the podcast, Money and Wealth with John Hope Bryant, I sit down with Tiffany the budgetista Aliche to talk about what it really takes to take control of your money. What would that look like in our families if everyone was able to pass on wealth to the people when they're no longer here? We break down budgeting, financial discipline, and how to build real wealth, starting with the mindset shifts. Too many of us were never, ever taught.
Starting point is 00:18:55 Financial education is not always about, like, I'm going to get rich. That's great. It's about creating an atmosphere for you to be able to take care of yourself and leave a strong financial legacy for your family. If you've ever felt you didn't get the memo on money, this conversation is for you to hear more. Listen to Money and Wealth with John Hauer. Brian from the Black Effect Network on the I'd Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast.
Starting point is 00:19:26 I'm Anna Navarro, and on my new podcast, Bleep with Anna Navarro. I'm talking to the people closest to the biggest issues happening in your community and around the world. Because I know deep down inside right now, we are all cursing and asking what the bleep is going on. I'm talking to people like Julie K. Brown, who broke the explosive story on Jeff. Epstein in 2018. These victims have been let down time and time again for decades and decades by local law enforcement, by federal law enforcement, by administration after administration. The Justice Department through, I think we counted four presidential administrations, failed these victims. Listen to Bleep with Anna Navarro as part of the My Cultura podcast network,
Starting point is 00:20:15 Available on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. What's up? I'm Miles Turner. And I'm Brianna Stewart. And our podcast, Game Recognized Game, has never been done before. Two active players giving you a real look at our lives and what we actually think, on and off the court. Nothing's off limits. We talk trade requests. What's the vibe of that when it's like your star player is like, well, I want to leave? And then actually now I'm going to stay.
Starting point is 00:20:48 We talk tanking. I mean, honestly. like, I might get in trouble for this answer, but I think it's like definitely happening in the WBA. And yeah, we talk about our mistakes, too. They pulled me to the side and was like, hey, man, we got a call last night, man, you can't be rolling around the city like this tonight before games, no, you know, doing this, doing whatever. And of course, family stories.
Starting point is 00:21:10 They'll be like, mommy, why did you miss that? Mommy, do you play basketball? Check out game recognized game with Stuy and Miles on the IHeart Radio app. Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts. Hey, everybody. Hey. Hey, I'm Adam. It's my friend Charlie.
Starting point is 00:21:30 Okay, I got some stuff. Number one, Singapore Airlines offers passengers $10,000 because of a turbulent flight. Wow, awesome. I'd take that. Yeah, 100%. Of course, you'd take it, but would you go on a crazily turbulent flight? Like, it's like rocking. It's throwing.
Starting point is 00:21:46 To know you were going to get paid out at the end. But you don't know you're going to live. You don't know that you're going to live. I mean, we do that for free. I mean, we pay to do that sometimes. But we don't know what's going to happen. I'm talking about stuff's nailing it for like 10 minutes, and you don't know. Is this the payout from the one where the guy died?
Starting point is 00:22:00 No, this is a different one. Oh, okay. Because, I mean, that's, that one seemed pretty traumatic, and you're like next to someone that lost their life. Yeah, you don't know. Like, would you like, let's say this. Because it has to be different. You can't know you're going to get the money. Let's go to Mr. Hare over there, Eddie.
Starting point is 00:22:16 Hair looks good by the way. Yes. Mr. Hare. That's his new name. No, it's not. why not it's awesome that's not my new name I wanted to be Mr. Hare
Starting point is 00:22:24 I'd want to be Mr. Hare That'd be a good one Be like calling me Mr. Muscles Okay Was it that flight Mike It was that flight? Oh you're right It was that flight
Starting point is 00:22:31 I thought that probably was in America That's super traumatic Yeah that makes sense So let's say They went to your wife And they said okay We're gonna send Eddie up He's gonna go on this flight
Starting point is 00:22:42 And he's not gonna know But at the end of it We're gonna give him $10,000 But it's gonna be the most Turbulance He's ever felt in his life He's not gonna know if he's gonna live or die
Starting point is 00:22:51 would you want her to say yes to that? Yes. Yeah. But you may not live. It's okay. What? You may not live. It's okay.
Starting point is 00:22:57 I mean... I thought you're guaranteed life. We're not guaranteed life. It's just turbulence. Now, if you said, like, we're going to shut off the engines and see what happens, that's different. But you don't know that you're going to die or not. Let's see what this bad boy can do. Right.
Starting point is 00:23:10 So you're good with that. You want the money. Ten grand? Yeah. Let's go. No way, because I'll end up spending the ten grand on therapy. So we're good. Ten grand on therapy.
Starting point is 00:23:19 Well, you're screwed. Maybe spend more than that, man. You're screwed up after that. You think you're going to die? Okay, but I get it. Or you have a new lease on life. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. You're going to live like you're dying.
Starting point is 00:23:28 People come out of that being like, you know what? Like, I was so close to death. People come out with a broken neck like these people. Or anytime you feel like something's shake, you freak out. Well, that's a chance too to break my neck and be paralyzed. Everything's a chance. I don't know. You don't get to make any rules because you don't know what's happening.
Starting point is 00:23:43 But yeah, they're giving them some of those people, $10,000. No public put downs if you're in a relationship. If you want your marriage to succeed, don't put your husband down in public. They say ladies. The one thing men hate more than criticism is public put downs, whether it's rolling your eyes of the fact that your husband always loses his keys or telling him that he's like your kid. These can be detrimental to a marriage.
Starting point is 00:24:01 Complaining about your spouse in front of him is shaming, demeaning, and toxic to the relationship because it makes him feel like a child and not your equal, says marriage and family therapists. That's from psychology today. Anyone want to say anything about that? I hung out with a couple while back where they just made fun of each other the whole time. It was very awkward. different if it's a not like making fun of like complaining like oh she
Starting point is 00:24:21 never does this and we're like oh that's crazy oh he never does this I'm like oh okay yeah I mean that can be yeah it's 30 and it felt bad like it just didn't feel right like why do you guys you guys like each other yeah my wife pulls me side sometimes after we hang out with people and she's like I don't think they like the way you joke with me she's like I think it makes them uncomfortable doesn't make her uncomfortable no but she's like I know you're joking but they I don't know if they do
Starting point is 00:24:45 like what kind of stuff I don't even remember it was just just like a backyard barbecue and I was just like what do you say yeah like I'm wondering what I'm that's what I'm saying I that's what I'm saying like it's just normal talk what's your go to what's your go to there's no go to your wife's standing right in front of you I know people around what I do there's no go to that's what I'm saying it's just conversation lazy but get your beer are you sure you're going to eat that and I make a joke and you know what I mean and she says I think they think you're serious and I'm like well maybe I won't joke in front of them anymore I don't know I don't remember you know what I said but it's just conversation.
Starting point is 00:25:19 It's obviously case by case because I think your wife, if she's not bothered by it, and it's a thing between y'all. But I do see the point of the article where you said, like, men especially don't want to be called out like that in front of others. Yeah, I just stand good behavior because my wife can cut me in eight pieces in about three seconds. And by making everybody else laugh, and I'm just like fillet on the table. Ready to eat. Yeah, I'm just like, oh.
Starting point is 00:25:43 Yeah, she's super quick. I don't, she wouldn't care if I started Busting her chops because she would bust mine back But the problem is she bust mine a lot better than I bust hers So I don't even do that because I know I'll lose the battle She's cutting. Her mom's cutting funny And not cutting in like a mean way but like
Starting point is 00:26:02 Quick Yeah It's like annoying Like I'm here I get paid Be funny, be compelling I go home my wife who doesn't want to even use that talent It's funnier than I am Sometimes that sucks
Starting point is 00:26:13 I'm like, let me bring my super power home You'll be proud. Oh, you're better at me than this. Oh, you can fly higher than me, Superman. Great. Or like, I'm Superman and I go home and like, honey, I flew all over saving the world. She's like, well, I flew faster and saved two worlds. I'm like, mother. Damn. Got me. Yeah. I give it to her sometimes, though. I give it to her. I hope.
Starting point is 00:26:32 No, not like that. Oh, God. Oh, my goodness. I went to work for her once a summer. Teenage boys so far from home. Creepy song. I was a lonely widow woman. She was.
Starting point is 00:26:43 a my store version. What? It gets creepier. That's your fantasy. I was a lonely widow woman. Helvin to make it all my own. Yeah. Celine Dion talks about singing with stiff person syndrome,
Starting point is 00:27:00 which that feels bad. That feels like it would be bad. And I never even had it. But like all of her muscles slowly just get tighter for life and she can't move. Gosh, that's tough. She says it feels like she's being strangled when she's singing. Celine Dionne Deon opens up about her stiff person. She had to cancel a tour
Starting point is 00:27:15 Just in general She said it feels like somebody's strangling you. It's like somebody's pushing your larynx down And yeah man that That sucks like they don't even know how to fix it Like it's a neurological disease. They that They can't fix She has broken ribs because of like how intense the spasms get in her really? Whoa, that sucks
Starting point is 00:27:42 sometimes you have to look at that stuff and go they didn't ask for that they didn't do anything to get it thank God that's not me yeah yeah yeah like be thankful for what like the oh yeah like you're just sometimes the things I complain about when I see stuff like that
Starting point is 00:27:57 these some of the stuff that just starts to happen I always wonder what when the day was that they felt like something was off that made them go to the doctor yeah problem with that is then I start to go I'm off I'm all my stuff you can find all sorts of things but one day was like one day
Starting point is 00:28:12 you go to sleep. At some point there's that day for people that are experiencing anything where they wake up and it's like something's not right. I don't want to think about that day, but I don't want to give it power, but... This is a little different, but like my foot now, when I see people like just walking normally
Starting point is 00:28:28 I'm like, gosh. I'm missing, huh? Oh, here we're doing. It's broken. Yeah. You know what? You're right. It's not broken, though. It is broken. It fractured. It's a break. I'll show you the x-ray. It's a fracture. Oh, okay. I thought that you were also like it's not broken. No, no, no. I didn't say that at all. I said it's not something that you can fix anything.
Starting point is 00:28:44 Bobby feels bad because it was his throat. No, it was your fault. It was your fault. I reached up to catch your throat. You came down on. No, it was not underthrone. You weren't even standing where you're supposed to be standing. On second base?
Starting point is 00:28:55 If you were standing on the bag? Wait, was it underthrown or overthrothed? Overthrothrown. See, he didn't even have a story. He said underthrown. He said underthrown. Pay attention. The jury would never find me guilty.
Starting point is 00:29:04 I broke my foot. I know what the throat was. Sometimes though when I don't have a sore throat, I just remember the times when I didn't have a sore throat. and I'm like, I'm so stupid for not appreciate it than that. Yeah. Or it's like when you have a hangover and you're like, gosh, I'll never drink again. And then you drink again.
Starting point is 00:29:17 Like I didn't appreciate myself sober. Like when your nose is stopped up and you're like, yeah, you're like, I just, the next time my nose isn't stopped up, I'm just going to be so thankful. And that's all I'm going to think about is how lucky I'm not have a stopped up nose. And then it goes away and you never think about it again until it stops up again. And you're like, man, even after I had that talk on myself, a New Mexico arsonist, he was trying to torch his ex-girlfriend's home. which is a bad deal because she and her four kids were inside,
Starting point is 00:29:42 but he set himself on fire. What? It's pretty funny video. He's accused of pouring gasoline all over his exes Albuquerque home and then lighting a match. A neighbor's security footage shows the arsonist pouring the liquid before the flames exploded and they got on him and he's trying to jump over the fence and he's on fire. What a dumber.
Starting point is 00:29:59 The man is engulfed in flames. I feel like arsonists sounds like they should know what they're doing. No, no. They just called that because he did it. Yeah. I don't think he's a professional arsonist. No, I know, I know, but they should just... And also are their professional arsonists?
Starting point is 00:30:13 No, they probably are. They don't think so. Professional ones, though. Like, there are probably people who do it. But, like, look them up on LinkedIn. Professional arsonist? That's the writer's fault. Like, an arsonist.
Starting point is 00:30:24 An arsonist does feel like somebody that has had done it successfully a couple times. Correct. Like, somebody who's just idiot tries a lot as a girlfriend's house on fire, burns himself. That's the story. You shouldn't be able to be called an arsonist
Starting point is 00:30:37 unless you've got a couple successful Arson's right. No, no, no. But like he, to be called an arsonist, you need to have pulled off a couple successful arsons without getting caught. Yeah, just in general. Or if you get caught, you get out of jail. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Like, what do you end for? Ah, arson. Oh, you're the arsonist. Yeah, but they're doing it for years. That's why I'm here. Got it successfully burnt it down. I have a license. I feel like a real arsonist wouldn't catch us up on fire. Exactly. That's like a Sue Arson. A Sioux chef. Yeah, see, he was watching too many movies. He was watching the gasoline. He was watching the gasoline. He was watching the gasoline. He was watching the gasoline. He was and think, oh, just pour it down and it'll light up and I'm okay. He should be like the amateur fire starter guy. One of the things Arkansas Keith taught me over and over again was about gas and fire. We used to gas all the time to burn stuff.
Starting point is 00:31:22 So dumb. But it was why you, one, when you should use it, how you should make sure that, not even just the liquid, but like the fumes are on you. So that was a big learning lesson for me and him because it would be like, You can catch them on fire so easy. So when I see people like pouring stuff to start fires unlike a movie, I'm like, that would never happen.
Starting point is 00:31:42 They would go up. They would get, they'd get caught up in it. You ever mix it with oil? Nah. You mix it with oil and that'll make it not so explosive. Nah, that's what I do. We didn't mix anything. We just burnt.
Starting point is 00:31:54 But how would you light it? Would you throw something at it far away? Yeah. A Roman candle? That's all is cool. No. Oh, shoot, a Roman candle? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:00 That's cool. One Fourth of July. No, you save them from like. Who saves the Roman candle? You got one. You better burn it. Let's go. I have lots of fireworks that we just never popped.
Starting point is 00:32:08 The best father figure dads. You guys don't take a run at this? Best father figure dads. The best dads on television. Oh, TV. Oh. The characters, best dads. Daneslow.

Starting point is 00:32:39 Home Improvement number three. Oh, who's the boss? Yeah, he's a good boss. Tony, Tony Maselli? He's not the boss. I got a question. She's the boss. I mean, good dad.
Starting point is 00:32:50 He's the housekeeper. On TV? No, Eddie. Cosby. Bill Cosby, no. No, no. They wouldn't even put him on the list as the character. No.
Starting point is 00:32:57 Okay, well, I'm saying on TV he was. Yeah, they wouldn't put him. That is still such, it just bums me out anytime we do that. It's such a good show. Friday Night Night Live. It's coach Taylor. No. Yes, he's a good dad.
Starting point is 00:33:08 He was never there. He was coaching. Go ahead. He was never home. Who's the modern family dad? I don't know. Phil Dumfie. Andy Griffith is Andy Taylor.
Starting point is 00:33:19 John Goodman is Dan Connor. Was he a good dad? I never saw that show really. I thought he was a drinker. No, he's a good dad. Dan Castellaneta is Homer Simpson. Jerry Stiller, Frank Costanza. Tom Bosley, Howard Cunningham from Happy Days.
Starting point is 00:33:33 Robert Reed, Mike Braves. from Brady Bunch. Oh, wow. Fred McMurray, a Steve Douglas, my three sons. Who made this list? Older people.
Starting point is 00:33:40 Yes, older people. Go derby.com. Are they watching new shows? They have new shows on there. I mean, Andy Griffith, you can't. I mean, watch it. But like Frank Costanza, he wasn't a good dad. Right, he was barely in the show.
Starting point is 00:33:53 Best of us for the rest of us. There was love there. Business names rejected for being too offensive. Each year, the company's house has to go through names of perspective of new businesses and they can say no because the public you can't put the F-word in a business and put the sign up in public what about that that uh Thai food place or no no no no typhuket uh F-U-K yeah yeah that one uh Fook yeah yeah i think that might be a real word like a real I don't know yeah I think you're right so and everywhere's different but here are some of the places
Starting point is 00:34:24 they've had to say no to the go F yourself club hmm that's like a nightclub I don't know man I don't know what you do there. The slutty pizza company. What if your last name was like sleutie? And you can't use doggy style limited dog place. That's funny. The shroom room. That sounds normal. Yeah. The mind un-effer. What is it? The mind un-un-effer. Okay. Okay. Got it. They wouldn't allow that one. Fing great portraits, a camera studio. Yeah, that's awesome. You can't do it. You can't do the F word though. The kush, the kush puppy. The kush, kush, like
Starting point is 00:35:09 weed, kush. Oh. Yeah. I don't know. I wouldn't know that. What? Kush. Is that what you call it? Guys. Kush. Kush. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:35:22 You guys are like this. Kooch balls? You have to stop. You have to stop. Kush, man. Kooch grant. What's that? I'm going to give you one more story. Harvard scientists say there may be an advanced civilization living inside the earth. Here we go.
Starting point is 00:35:33 Do you pick this story? Like you mean in the ocean? In a new paper, you know that only 5% of the ocean's mapped. That's it, only 5%. Think about that. That we've mapped. We know what's there and wind and how deep. And only 5% of the ocean.
Starting point is 00:35:45 We can go all the way to the trenches. You ever seen those maps where the trenches are in the middle of the... Yeah, that's great. 5% of the ocean is mapped. We've only been in 5% of the ocean. Think about that. What's down there, even like crazy fishes. Not just fish, but fished because they got like two heads probably.
Starting point is 00:35:59 Fishes. Yeah. And a new paper from a team of researchers from Harvard, it claims that aliens can be living inside Earth. The term UFO may reflect activities of intelligent beings concealed in stealth here on Earth or even walking amongst us. The researchers admit it's an exotic hypothesis, but they say that it definitely could be a place where there are people living that we don't know.
Starting point is 00:36:23 People are not organic, just like us. And before you, here we go again. These are people that have an extreme amount of education in an area that you are not, educated yet you still go there's no way they can be right. Why are you looking at me? Let me ask you. Because you started, I went, here we go. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:39 I get if we're looking at the universe and the outer space and people coming in to our atmosphere, but if they're in the earth, does that make them aliens? Because they're here. Well, there would still be aliens. But they're here. But we call people, and they don't anymore, but illegal aliens, if you're somewhere that you're not, quote, supposed to be. Yeah, no, I get that.
Starting point is 00:37:00 That's what the alien term comes from, more so than the, like a distance away or space. Just let them go, Amy. No, I mean, I get it. I just was starting to think, like, what if they were here first? Definitely.
Starting point is 00:37:13 And it's like, they're like, we're not aliens. And what did they say definitely could be? Can you say that? Definitely could be. That's like some crap we'd say, I'll be honest. Yeah, yeah. Just to not get sued. They definitely could be.
Starting point is 00:37:25 Definitely could be. It's like we say that sometimes too. You know, in case NBR calls, definitely could be. Maybe not, but I don't know, yes. Go to bobbybones.com. Again, we have our Pimp and Joy stuff up. I hope you get some.
Starting point is 00:37:37 We don't keep any of the money. It's going to build a hero for a home. U.S. Air Force Technical Sergeant Daniel Beasting. That's it. Thank you guys. And we'll see it tomorrow. Eddie, your hair looks great. Thanks, man.

Starting point is 00:38:01 It's a same. Who cares? Who cares? You just want to have the experience. All I have is just convertibles. You want to tell them, hey, I want to buy something for my hair. All right, thank you guys. We'll see you tomorrow.
