We can explain how AI works, data centers,
but there are certain things that we don't necessarily understand.
Better version of Play Stupid Games, Win Stupid Proof.
Yes. Which, by the way, wasn't Taylor Swift who said that for the first time. I actually, I thought it was. I got that wrong.
But hey, no one's perfect. We're pretty close, though. Listen to the Nick, Dick, and Paul show on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Hey, I'm Dr. Maya Shunker, a cognitive scientist and hosts of the podcast, a slight change of plans, a show about who we are and who we become when life makes other plans.
I wish that I hadn't resisted for so long the need to change.
We have to be willing to live with a kind of uncertainty that none of us likes.
You can have opinions. You can have like a strong stance.
And then there's your body having its own program.

It's time for the Bobby Bones post show.
Here's your host, Bobby Bones.
Hope everybody's having a pretty good day so far.
Some stuff that I really wanted to get to during the show, ran out of time.
There's a high school basketball coach from Maine,
who may have broken a Guinness World record by sinking 1,134, 3-pointers in one hour.
And so it's a really fun story.
Because he's just shooting, shooting, shooting, shooting.
Wow.
I shoot like five, I'm tired.
Yeah, exhausting.
Wow.
So here he is, his name is Ryan Martin talking about the world record.
We were just shooting around, really just messing around in the gym, and I made 104 threes in a row, which was, from what I know, the most I've ever made in a row.
And then he's the one who said, you should start going for some shooting world records.
I kind of looked into it as training for a marathon.
Nick and I made a chart of how I wanted to pace myself through the entire hour.
And he hit it.
1334 three-pointers.
How many in an hour do you think you could hit, Amy, if we're breaking it down?
How many do you three-pointers could you hit in five minutes?
Oh, okay.
Realistically.
It's going to be a straight guess because I don't even know how you could do in one minute.
Okay.
If you shot 20, do you think you can make one?
Yes.
100%.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
No, we've done the three-point thing before.
We did free throw thing.
We did.
I thought we did three-pointers at Vandy.
No, it's a different deal.
I can make threes.
I've done it.
Yes, if I shot 20, I can make one.
For sure.
Why?
I mean, no, no, we've talked about guys.
Guys, back up.
You have to go back here.
I'm not even just talking about you.
Hold on.
If you, if you wouldn't mind, I'd like to just stop you for one second
because I know you're going to compare yourself to six-year-old Amy.
That's hilarious.
I would just like to compare yourself to me.
I don't know that I would bet a thousand bucks.
I'd make one out of 20.
And I think I could make six out of 20,
but I don't think that I'm for sure going to make one out of 20.
Okay.
Listen, what I'm telling you is that it was maybe five or six years ago that I did the free throws.
But if you go back about 10 years, we did a three-pointer thing and I made threes and y'all couldn't believe it.
Okay.
I think it's on YouTube.
You probably can make one out of 20.
I think we could all make one out of 20.
But I'm just saying, I've been on cold streaks where we're just shooting and I don't get one out of 20.
Yeah.
Yeah, it's possible.
And it depends if we're talking NBA, high school, college.
I mean.
I'm sure it would be college.
I was at a college.
If we were to get a gym to do it, it'd probably be a college gym.
I think you'd make one out of 20,
but I just don't think it's 100% like you scream 100% so easily.
That was my only pushback.
Oh, I don't think he's a...
Oh.
You said 100%.
Oh, 100%.
I would.
I just meant I would make 100% of my shots.
If someone bet me and said, hey, I'll bet you $10,000.
And...
10,000?
Yeah.
Versus 5,000 of mine.
They'll give me 10 for 5,000.
and said you're going to shoot 23s in a row,
you do not get to shoot them consecutively.
Like you have to shoot one and wait 10 seconds.
And then shoot one and wait 10 seconds.
I think I'd still take the bet,
but I would be a little worried.
Now, if you're allowed to me,
just fire them off, four or five at a time,
that's really where you can find it.
But I don't, I don't know.
It's all in the visualization.
And the only reason I kept talking about this
is because you said 100% so quickly.
100% I can make one of the 20, yes.
Okay, let's say.
Because that's a lot.
20's a lot.
I'll get lucky for sure.
Could you make one out of 10, D Phil?
Ooh.
Come on, Amy.
Yeah, probably.
Okay, let's just say you make one out of 15 then.
Let's do the deal.
So 153s.
I just want to see what we think Amy can make here.
Okay, so 153s, okay.
And here, give me the ball, she shoots.
I'm timing this.
Clint, clung, clung, clon, clon, clon.
Oh, top.
Maybe 100%.
All right, let's take the second one.
Oh, nothing but net.
No, no, no.
Air ball, air ball, air ball, yeah.
Okay, so that's two and 20 seconds.
Okay.
So 10 seconds a shot, basically.
So one minute, six shots.
So 10 minutes, 60 shots.
Well, my arms are going to get tired.
Oh, you're going to be a long time.
We're in a vacuum where there's no fatigue.
Oh.
Okay.
Yeah.
I'm just thinking how long it would take.
How many she could make in an hour?
I'm thinking...
30.
Okay.
We're all on the same kind of ballpark.
How many could you make in an hour?
This guy made 1100.
What would you think 100% you can make in an hour?
We're not even...
I'm not even picking on you.
You just yelled 100% so quickly.
100% 1 out of 20.
No, no, I know.
So how long is it taking me to do 20?
I was just blown away because I wouldn't have even have yelled it like that because I'd be embarrassed
when I didn't do it.
Go ahead.
We have to believe in yourself.
Okay, but remember, a minute for every six or ten?
Six.
Okay.
So 10 is about two and a half minutes.
Okay, do the math problem for me.
No, what do you?
How many?
How many am I shooting?
How many can you make in an hour?
If you're shooting 10 every two minutes, we'll just say that, okay?
So there's 32 minutes.
So let's say you're getting up 300 shots.
Mm-hmm.
And that's, you're not tired.
How many are you making?
I'm going to make...
I don't even know if my math's right, but...
It sounds right.
Okay.
Yeah, I'm going to make 10 per 100, so I'm going to make 30 out of 300.
30?
Of all of us, that's some...
Eddie went 30, that's the most?
Yeah, it's just...
You make 30 in an hour.
I would take that bet.
I think that's doable.
No, I think she...
You said 20.
I think I said 30.
Oh, you said 30?
You had the most confidence in her?
Thanks, guys.
I would take that bet.
But, man, it would be...
She'd had to make them in the first half of the hour.
you're tired.
Because the second half,
she's going to be exhausted.
I would bet.
Oh, man, that's tough.
Here's what I would do.
If you want to do it.
If you would shoot for an hour and you could make 31,
I would give $1,000 to whatever charity you want me to give it to.
Yes.
Amy, do it.
31.
Well, that's over 30.
You said you could do 30, so if you can do 31.
I could do 20.
No, we're not back and out of me.
And you don't even have to do it again.
Now, I don't do it.
No, no, no, no.
I mean, you should try.
Why not?
Hold on.
I don't even want it to be like, they're picking on Amy.
We're not.
She just had such confidence when she yelled 100% when I didn't even have that confidence in me that I just was like, let's just, let's sit here and fill this out.
Yeah.
So if you could do 31 in an hour, I would donate $1,000 to whatever charity that you wanted.
Okay.
Now, if you can't, what do you do?
It doesn't need to be the same.
I'll get Bobby's name tattooed on you.
No.
It doesn't.
Fridge smoothie?
It doesn't have to be money or financial.
It can be, but not as much.
Okay, how about this?
If you can't, you have to buy the whole show of breakfast one day.
Oh, that'd be nice.
Okay.
Deal?
Deal.
But I don't want you pressured into doing it.
I'm not.
This isn't pressure.
Okay.
Ooh, I like that.
No pressure.
Oh, dang.
Okay.
And I think you're going to get more shots off than you think because we'll have a rack of balls.
It won't be just where we're.
playing with one individual ball.
I don't know where we're getting the rap.
Yeah, but I'm going to have to, like, I'm not like you where you were talking about,
shoot, shoot, shoot.
Like, I like, pause, check it out.
Oh, is that what you do?
Yeah, I think we go somewhere and we just stream it from like my Instagram for an hour
and see if Amy can make 31.
Sounds riveting.
What do you mean?
To see if you can make it, that's pretty interesting.
What charity would you like the money to go to if you hit?
Do you want to think about it or no?
No, the orphanage in Haiti.
I already know.
all right
done
but if you don't
but if you don't
oh we're getting
a nice breakfast
we're not just going
right
but if you don't make it
I'm not
donating it
because here's the problem
I do these games
and I'm like okay
if I win
if you win
I'll donate
then I always end up
donating anyway
so why not make the game
why not just give the money
to begin with
well you care about
the orphanage
stop doing that
because you've been there
that's not the game
I've got to
and if I do decide
to donate anyway
I'm going to do it
privately and not say
a single word
any of you. We're getting low on funds.
Nope. Not being pressured into it.
If I do it, I'll do it privately, secretly without telling a single soul
because I can't have these games where I set up and then it's all a lose-lose.
Deal.
Deal.
And then does Ruth Chris have breakfast?
Who said you can't have lunch for breakfast?
That's what I'm talking about.
There were no rules.
Tomahawk steaks all around.
No, I was thinking more like the well.
I don't know what that is.
That what is it?
What?
Right down the street?
They have a bit.
They have that sausage biscuit on sweet potato bun.
Is that what he ordered?
Right, Morgan?
That's good.
So maybe after the show next week, we'll leave at like.
After the show next week?
Oh, it's that soon.
No training.
Okay.
You're going to train?
You're going to train?
Why wouldn't I train?
I got to train.
No, you hit us for 100%.
That means you're trained in your mind already.
Okay.
You're right.
By the way, this is not picking on Amy.
I'm fired of people going, you pick on Amy all the time.
Oh, you guys.
Huh?
Nobody's going to say this is you picking on me.
No, they're going to be like, of course you did it to Amy.
No, no, no, no.
I'm amazed at your confidence.
Sometimes I have weird confidence when it comes to basketball.
How many do you think you can hit an hour lunchbox?
Gosh.
He did 1100.
Obviously, the guy can shoot.
Sure.
Yeah, he can shoot.
It's a world record.
And an hour?
An hour.
I'm starting to think 30 was a little ambitious.
No, I think 30 is pretty good.
I think 30 is pretty good for you.
I can.
You can back out if you want.
No, I don't want to back out.
You two.
I can make 40.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah, easy.
Yeah.
Oh, okay.
All right, all right.
Because that was such a low number.
Yes.
I can do 10.
Well, you guys were saying.
Hey, things were like, deal, man.
I bet a thousand dollars.
No way, you'll make 40.
Yeah, you're an athlete.
We believe you can make 40.
We believe you can make 40.
I just have no idea.
When her Ray laughed through the window.
It's supposed to be a soundproof
window. He laughed so hard. I'm confused. You guys were right like Amy was a high number for 30,
so I was like, well, then if I say 40, that means they must say that's a crazy amount.
I think there is a different level of athleticism based on what you two both currently do in
athletics. And Lunchbox has probably played more basketball than Amy. And Lunchbox still plays a lot of
sports. I have a basketball goal in my house. I know. I know, but I'm saying lifetime.
Okay, I feel pretty good about this. What an interesting thing.
See, I'd go 75.
75.
A hour.
I think I can hit 70.
That means you've got to hit more than one a minute.
Well, how much choosing you get, Bobby?
I think I can hit one.
I don't know.
I have no idea.
I'm not good.
A hundred.
And I think about this because I'm going to plan that over 30 adult league in Arkansas
for two days.
When is that?
September.
Oh, you don't know about this?
I do know about it.
Wait, do you done it?
Were you not on the show when I talked about it?
No, you told me about it separately.
Got it.
I'll refresh you.
I'll refresh you now.
Not right.
Please.
Coach Cal,
don't know Coach Cal
in Arkansas,
purposefully not knowing him.
I mean,
it's not like he's been like
come have dinner.
But I'm afraid
if I get to know him
I won't like him
for no reason.
I just don't want to fly too close
to the sun
and not like somebody
involved in what I love the most.
I get that.
That's why I don't text
Sam Pittman all the time.
Yeah.
And he's always like,
you got my number.
Who?
Yeah.
The head coach,
football coach.
Of Arkansas.
Yeah.
It's like Eddie Vedder.
Like,
I love Pearl Jam,
but I don't know if I want to meet Eddie Vedder.
Yeah, but you don't have a cell phone number
He's not encouraging you need to reach out and hang out.
Yeah, you're right, it's a little different.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
But I don't because I don't want to not like them
because I love the Razorbacks so much.
And so I've chosen not to have, try to have any relationship yet.
But he put up this, hey, come play basketball for two days
and like 40 people sign up.
Everybody shoots around.
They draft teams.
So it would be like, I'm sure there'll be like seven people a team,
maybe eight people a team that's 40.
Like five teams.
And then they play a tournament for like two days with coaches.
The actual thing was excited to share my Tyson Foods fantasy experience.
It's a diehard two days, put on a jersey and compete inside Bud Walton Arena for your chance to cut down the nets.
John Caliperie Experience.com limited to 40 participants.
So I paid the money immediately.
Didn't even know what it was.
40?
Yeah.
Do you think it's going to be like that card thing you just went to in Baltimore?
Were you getting there?
No, you kind of have to be a baller, though.
But I'm not a baller, but I think I'm still, I'm athletic enough.
You can hang.
that I can probably hang, but I love to compete.
The ball card thing, oh, it can't be.
I hope it is.
I tell you what, I hope it is.
Because I'll dominate.
Yeah, there's a difference.
I hope it's the exact same guys at the baseball thing
because I will wreck shop.
So my dream is that all those same guys show up.
Okay.
So I have to start, like, practicing,
and I haven't, start shooting around.
Just to get...
And you say you could shoot, you could make...
I'll go 70.
Why do you keep going down, guys?
I just went down five.
That's it.
That's almost one a minute.
You can nail one a minute easily.
Not easily.
I don't think.
Like you said, dude, when you go on that cold streak, oh, sometimes you just can't get out of it.
I think I could do 100.
Oh, that's hard.
That is so hard.
So are we all going to try this?
No, it's just you.
Okay.
Unless somebody says a number and somebody else wants to challenge them on it and put up a bet, we'll just do Amy.
What do you mean?
Like lunchbox said 20.
Lunchbox like three.
We're like, nobody's going to challenge them to make three in an hour.
Hold on.
In a little bit, we're making fun of you because we know you're more athletic than that.
I was just going off of what you guys said about Amy, about how it was astronomical that she said 30.
So I was like, man, so they think 40 is going to be.
I just don't know.
It also depends on how many balls you have at your disposal.
Five.
Because getting the balls back to you alone.
You'll have a rebounder.
And rebounder, yeah.
We have people there.
I understand.
But you don't understand.
The ball bounces.
But I do understand.
Whatever you're going to say, I do understand.
We need.
You know what?
really need? No, but I do understand.
One of those machines? That's terrible.
The one that spits it back?
It throws you all. Yeah.
That's kind of cool.
You got to thought over the...
No, we'll just have ball boys.
We'll just have us there, rebounding.
And also, you're not going to want to fire off every three seconds anyway, because you're
going to need to catch your breath.
Dribble.
Feel the game.
Maybe she will do it.
With all that.
With the feel in the game.
Dang, I know you're ready to feel the game.
A little dribble, dribble, dribble.
Maybe we can go to, like, Belmont or something.
Can we just call?
have making calls.
Mike's like, yeah.
I went to Vanderbilt last time.
Okay, wherever it is, we have some relationships
because of some sports stuff that we've done.
Then maybe they'll let us in the gym after the show one day
next week. And
I'm not traveling at all next week.
Already cleared the schedule.
And we go for an hour and Amy says she can make
30 in an hour.
I think the bet's 31, right? She has to make 31.
If she makes 31, she thinks she can do 30.
If she makes 31, I'll donate $1,000 to your charity.
Wow, that's cool.
If not, you buy the whole show of breakfast.
That's really cool too.
Okay.
That's fun.
I think it's achievable for you.
I think there's a chance you don't get it.
I think lunchbox's goal was eight.
So he would do his like in five minutes.
But if you guys want to make a number,
I'm happy to make a bet if we think the number is high enough for me to be interested.
What if you just do $100 for every three I make?
Whoa, that gets ridiculous.
Do you think how much, but if you make $30, I have to pay you $3,000.
Yeah, that's a lot of money.
But if I make 10, you pay $1,000.
But if you make 10, you just lost a bet, and you got to buy us breakfast.
Yeah, but you'll still donate and I'll buy breakfast.
I choose not to take that bet.
Okay.
I get it.
But that's fun.
We'll do it next week.
Instead of the Olympics.
Yeah, sure.
We're now doing three-point shooting.
Okay, we spent way too much time on that.
Let's do a little middle roll here.
American soccer is about to explode.
The World Cup is coming.
Ramon sending on to Ernie Stewart for chip.

I'm Tom Boe.

I'm not worried about Policic.
I'm not worried about Balligan.
I'm not worried about McKinney.
My only concern is what happens in the back.
The biggest decisions.
If you're going to look at stats and numbers,
he has no shot at making this World Cup team.
And the truth about the U.S. national team.
It wouldn't be a huge support.
prize if our team ends up in the quarterfinals or potentially a great run into the semifinals.

All right, let's go over and talk to Melissa and College Station regarding something that happened on the show today.
Melissa, hello.
You're doing pretty good.
What do you want to say?
Well, I wanted to congratulate Lunchbox on his double win.
Congratulations.
Danda.
Dada da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da
Yeah, yes, we're very excited about this
Well you know that lunchbox loves VIP stuff everything
So would it be okay if you were to VIP him like backstage passes
And you know how are you going to make sure that he goes?
Can he do an interview with somebody in the back and maybe can somebody from y'all be there to one night so you can
watch him, wouldn't that be hilarious for somebody to just watch his reaction the first night?
The second night, he'll know what's going on.
But the first night, that's when he should have the backstage passes, maybe learn a little
few moves or something.
He can show y'all that he's done or, you know, something.
I mean, he's got to have the experience.
He's going twice, and, I mean, how often do they come and see y'all, really?
That's a lot of thunder.
This is what I would say.
She's out of control.
She has a great couple of points.
one, somebody should secretly go and he doesn't know who it is or where they are
just to make sure that he's there and sitting and watching.
We know, I don't lie about things.
What?
Oh, no, mostly, that's all you do.
However, so we'll just say this.
There will possibly be an eagle eye somewhere.
It doesn't even have to be one of us.
It could be somebody, if I know somebody else who's going, who will record.
Ooh, good.
You're not allowed to record during the performances.
Is that true?
Yeah.
How do you know that?
Did you look that out?
I've seen it before.
It was on Jersey Shore.
You've been in Thunder Down Under?
No, no.
Vinny was in Thunder Down Under in Vegas.
This is where we find out he's been there before.
I train for three months.
Every time he goes to Vegas.
I was a thunder.
But she brings up a great point because we'll need to know that he was there,
did get the full experience, didn't like put a blindfold over his eyes.
Yeah, do they do meet and greet?
I think they do meat and greet.
Oh, oh.
Uh-huh.
Lunchbox.
Don't eat dinner.
Oh, don't eat dinner.
What in the world are you talking about, Amy?
He just said meat and green.
So, Melissa, great point.
We're going to make sure that he's there and he's watching and we'll see what other VIP we can hook him up with.
Yeah.
Okay.
Sounds like Melissa really wants to go.
Well, that would be okay.
She's drooling.
It's okay that you want to go.
I don't want to go.
It's totally cool if you want to go.
Absolutely.
I'm supporting you.
Me too.
Me too.
That's me.
I ain't want to go.
I want to give you the VIP.
experience, man. That's it.
Me too.
Just the whole immersion,
the sweat, the everything else.
I'm not feeling very
VIP at that time. Hey, no more of a
VIP than this guy. Nope.
Talking about it constantly. Don't need to be VIP here.
Okay, Melissa, thank you,
and I hope you have an awesome day.
So, yeah, I'll tell you bye.
Bye, bye, bye. One other thing we were talking about.
Let's go talk to Betsy in Massachusetts. Hey, Betsy.
Hey, Betsy.
Hey, good morning, studio.
Morning.
Not much.
Oh, I got it.
I was listening.
I listen every day.
I've been listening just after COVID, and I love the show.
But I wanted to call and let you know about my family's name history, my husband's side.
Okay.
My husband's first cousin is named Hannibal.
Hannibal Russell, and his father was Hannibal,
and it traces all the way back to Hannibal Hamlin, who was the first vice president that Abraham Lincoln ever had.
And Hannibal?
It doesn't feel like a woman.
It doesn't feel like a weird name until you think of Hannibal Lecter.
I mean, you kind of ruined that name.
Silence of the Whims.
Yeah.
I don't know, though, that Hannibal won't come back.
Like, Hannibal Burris is a comedian.
Wow.
He's the one that started the Bill Cosby, because he told a joke about Bill Cosby and creepy.
So, I mean, there have been a couple instances of people being Hannibal.
And Hannibal Lecter was such a pop culture thing in, like, the late 80s, 90s.
90s, yeah.
That I think that could make, I don't mind the name Hannibal.
I don't know.
At any time I think of it, I think of, like, eating brains.
But you're in your 40s.
Yeah.
Hey Morgan, Hannibal.
Hannibal Lecter?
She asked it with a question even.
So even though she knows what it is,
I don't think she has the association of Hannibal being somebody who,
Clarice.
Did they name him Hannibal because he was a cannibal?
That is a great question.
Hannibal the Cannibal?
I don't know they ever called him Hannibal the Cannibal, like a wrestler.
But maybe.
I just always associated those two.
I never associated that.
I didn't know.
Hannibal, Lecter, you said it,
but do you know who that is?
I thought it was a movie character.
Is that not actually?
It is a movie character.
Okay.
But you don't know a whole lot about it.
Do you know what he did in the movie?
Was he like a bad guy, a villain of some kind?
He was.
Yeah, he was a cannibal.
He was in prison and Jody Foster had to go and try to get inside his mind.
But he wasn't real at any point in time?
There's like a real.
No historical.
Not Hannibal Lecter, no.
So that's the reason I think Hannibal can make a comeback.
Hannibal Burr is doing just fine.
There's not a Hannibal everywhere you go.
You rarely hear like at a game.
Hannibal Johnson, or Walmart, you're, you're kids.
That doesn't happen with the PA.
But Betsy, I appreciate that.
That's a good one.
That's a good little discussion there about Hannibal.
What would you call them?
Yes.
Han.
Thank you.
Thank you.
And I love the show.
And lunchbox, have fun at the show.
Okay.
Oh, no.
You have a blast, man.
All right, Betsy, bye.
Great.
That was a great bit.
Thank you very much.
I thought it was great, too.
What are my favorites.
You and your family.
Thank you.
Bye, Betsy.
Okay.
Got a couple of those down.
again, I'll stand by
and I'm looking to
go shoot around with Caitlin Clark
for an hour.
Guys?
What?
Hannibal Lecter
was inspired by an actual
murderous doctor
named Alfredo Bali
Trevino.
But not Hannibal.
But I mean, we thought this was all fiction.
This was inspired by a murderous
doctor.
Oh, and probably creepy, but I mean, there's a lot of murderous
weirdos.
Lecter and Trevino
shared similarities in their impeccable taste,
mannerisms.
Like he's just real creepy.
Oh, ew.
That's scary.
I thought that was just like fiction.
I mean, I think it was, but loosely based off of a character.
I was fiction.
Like, he didn't go to jail.
Somebody to have to go and evaluate him.
It wasn't the 90s.
When was this Trevino guy?
Like, when did he get arrested?
I guess, 1800s.
Late 1800s.
Golly, look how creepy Anablector is.
That's a movie character
I know, but
The name Hannibal cannot...
You guys will never believe this
Look how creepy Freddy Kruger is.
We're like, no, I mean, that's a very funny.
That name cannot come back.
It's done.
I think for us it's tough.
It's done.
But it did already.
Hannibal Burris.
But again, when was he named?
Yeah, I don't know.
Because he's probably 40.
Yeah.
So he had to be named before the movie came out.
But it still worked.
He didn't change his name.
women's sports very popular
you know the one
I was listening to Colin Coward
talk about like the one
Olympic sport that did
worse
did not have a ratings pop
was women's basketball
and he was like hey idiots
why did you put Caitlin Clark on the team
like nobody cared
it was like the one
like everything else
because the rating is crushed during the Olympics
it was a wonderful Olympics
and I think for us it was wonderful as Americans
because the big stars
that we invested in
or learned about quickly, they all did their thing, and that's exciting for us.
The basketball team, Simone Biles, Katie Ledecki, Noah Wiles, you know, the runner.
Liles, yeah.
Whatever's name is.
I stopped investing.
All the people that were built up, they all won.
And that's super cool.
But the one, and they messed out by not putting Caitlin Clark on the basketball team.
Why did Alex Morgan not play in the soccer?
Because she's too old.
She's terrible.
I didn't go to terrible.
She's going to.
No, last year in the World Cup, she was just old.
She couldn't do anything.
That's why we were not good in the World Cup.
Got it.
She was past her prime and we kept her on the team and it was just like...
I think old would have been acceptable.
You stop there.
Yeah, because I mean, if you're old, you have limited...
Right.
Athleticism ability.
Unless you're LeBron.
It was just depressing last World Cup.
That's why, though.
Okay.
Yeah.
I just watched and I'm like, where is she?
And then I saw that she wasn't...
She didn't make the team.
Like, okay.
But what's weird about old is...
She's 35 or something.
Yeah, that's crazy.
Not that old.
Yeah, to do that.
I saw that
Nick Foles had retired, right?
NFL player
and because I think he's done
and he's not coming back
but from Austin.
I would think he's 40.
No.
He's probably 33.
Dang.
He's like,
I'm not sure.
Did he go to like Chavez?
Yeah, one of those.
Maybe Austin.
I don't know.
I don't know.
But he's a Austin high school kid.
He went to Westlake.
35?
And he's 35.
And he's like, we're tired
and we're like old Nick Foles.
35 years old.
35 years old.
How much money did he make in his career?
He won a Super Bowl?
He did.
What team did he play on?
A lot.
You tell us.
Well, I can't.
He made $88 million.
Jeez.
Damn, that's nice.
No, no, way more than that.
So he signed a four-year $88 million deal with the Jaguars.
That's just the one deal.
That's legit.
The rumor on Nick Foles was he had a humongous wiener.
What?
Really?
It kind of got out.
How is that?
What's that?
Social media.
rumor you following.
Bones,
I've never heard that one, man.
He made, yeah, like $80 million.
It's your algorithm.
This is pre-agorhythm.
I'd have to follow it to know.
Now, that was always the rumor on like,
like, I think he was like seen in a locker room on like somebody live,
accidentally, like walking through.
Wouldn't that be the greatest rumor, even if it was just a rumor?
Yeah.
I'll think that rumor.
It's like the poll, Walter.
What's that?
So, which turned out to not be extremely accurate.
You didn't see that?
No. Dude, in the Olympics, he lost because he was doing the pole vault.
And it is doing, knocked the bar over.
Is that a joke?
So, so.
Wait, what?
Yes and no.
In the end, it really was, it wasn't his, it wasn't his wiener that hit it.
But his winner did hit it.
Wait, what?
That's what knocked the bar over?
What's his name?
Just do pole vault.
Do weaner pole and see what you find.
Okay.
Olympics, weiner.
You saw this lunch?
Yeah.
Everybody did.
It was super viral.
I didn't see it.
I didn't.
And the whole thing was, guys.
Big Dong
is white and
Paul Walter Anthony
something
but I do think
like his hip hit it
first
but you can take a look here
it says
viral bulge
is what
knocked the pole down
it did look like that
but he goes up
what's tough about
the Olympics footage
they scrubbed the internet
of it for the most part
unless you can find
like an official account
with it
let me see
boy he's a French dude
right there
the dong
I don't see it
Oh my gosh.
So he goes up.
His knee hits it first.
And you see his knee hit it, but it looks like a winger hits it.
Oh, the dong hit it, for sure.
The dong hit it, but the knee hit it first.
Dang brought it down.
Had his knee not hit it, the dong wouldn't have knocked it down.
Okay.
Justice for the dong is what I say.
But yes, his dong did actually do some, like maybe just a knee doesn't knock it down.
I thought they jumped backwards.
Oh, no, that's a high jump.
Okay, you're right.
That'd be a really big one if backward.
I bet you that hurt.
But that didn't feel good.
Don't you think he looked himself in the mirror, though, before he went out?
And was like, all right.
How do we look?
Yeah, it looks pretty good today.
Because, again, you're wearing tight stuff, so it's always seen.
So there he is.
Do you see it, Amy?
I'm trying.
She's on another.
She's on other.
No, whole Volter lost medal, but somehow won.
The hearts of porn stars.
Olympics.
I don't think that's it.
Yeah, it is.
Penis Olympics is what?
I don't know what you're watching.
Hey, I don't know what your algorithm feeding you?
It's not my algorithm.
It's how I searched it.
Okay.
Oh, okay, I got it.
Oh, she actually found the video, Lungemock.
Oh, we saw the video.
Oh, I saw the video.
Oh, I saw pictures.
Oh, my gosh.
How embarrassing.
Why am I just not learning about this?
The greatest story is that, but his knee did hit it before if you watched the video.
But that's not that embarrassing, right?
Well, it sucks you didn't win the medal.
Wouldn't it not yet.
And if there has to be a reason you lose, that would be the greatest way.
That's what I'm saying.
Hold on.
Oh, my God.
Look, you can screenshot it.
If you screenshot it is.
Amy has screenshot at his wiener hitting the pole.
And now she's putting in as a background.
I'll send it to you all.
No.
No, we don't want it.
We don't want it.
Dude, this is funny.
Your sister.
Yeah, your sister.
She probably hasn't heard about it either.
We're always a little late to things.
Okay.
How do we do this show every day and we talk about the Olympics every day
and nobody told me about this?
till now.
She's mad at you guys now.
Oh my God, I'm going to send it to my nephew creepies.
He full vats.
How old is he?
I don't know the aunt sent in.
And also, is he even 18?
He's 16.
No, don't do it, Amy.
Don't do it.
What are you going to say, hey, hope this doesn't happen to you?
I mean, that creepy.
I'll send it to my sister and I'll be like, warn your son.
Okay.
Okay, that's so funny.
I do want to do this one segment with Ramundo.
Ramundo thinks that listeners only say positive stuff about us,
which is not the case.
Look at my social media.
I get beat up.
It's a whole.
Regardless,
sometimes we'll say, like,
what do you not like about the show?
We'll ask these questions.
And they'll be like,
well,
I wasn't ready for that.
I don't have anything.
But he has decided because that happens,
and I'll ask listeners like,
hey, what would you change about the show?
And they don't have answers sometimes.
That he has created a list of things
that he doesn't like about the show.
Oh,
and he would like to share them.
with us. Great. So this is Ray Mundo's list. Unsolicited, by the way. He was sitting at home going,
what could I talk about on the show? So he wanted to talk about things he didn't like on the show. Go ahead.
All right. Number five, when an artist says they almost didn't put a hit song on the record,
because you did. So what are we talking about this for? No, it's always, it was a last song.
So it was a last song. My version of that is when someone goes, it's my most personal album ever.
Or it's my favorite album I've ever done. Like, that's annoying. But I think all these artists,
feel that way anyway. And the reason, just the logic behind the last song is, usually if they've
cut a record, but they've recently written something. When you've recently written, you have this
attachment to it because it's new. And you're like, I just wrote it. It's so good. Let's add it to
the record. There's still a passion about it because it's new and it kind of gets looked at.
So, yes, it is annoying. But there's actually like a science as to why that last song ends up being a hit.
it's because it was just created, just written, or just found, and just recorded, and there's an attachment to it like none of the others, which they've been living with and recording and listening to for months and months.
But yes, I can agree. Those things are annoying. Number four.
When we do tell me something good and we take the attention off the person that did the good.
I'm 50-50. Sometimes I like it.
Yeah, because we get the attention on the good, but then we spin off. Sometimes it isn't.
annoying. Sometimes it turns into something funny, but I can take a note of that and try to do better.
Go ahead. When Amy is doing the pile and uses doctor terms because there's no way a trucker in
Iowa knows what she's talking about. Or me sometimes. And I'm like, I don't know what that means.
Trucker in Iowa. Yeah. Like, I don't know what that means. And it's probably because she's reading
off the page. Or it's part of my vernacular. You almost didn't have vernacular for being honest.
All right. Go ahead. Number two, when bones
says that he believes in aliens.
It's just like talking about dreams
pointless.
Huh.
I feel that.
My...
I think it's a little different than dreams.
It's different.
Dreams are real.
Yeah, I think dreams are a little more
relatable than aliens.
Like dreams are actually happening.
Yeah, dreams actually happen.
That's why I get that.
My alien stories, though,
are always not really based off
me just coming and going,
I got to talk about aliens.
It's like something in the news
that I go and find
so I can just talk about aliens.
Yeah. But I get it.
Number one.
Number one, I'm fine when lunch talks about VIP and that he's famous.
That's all fine and dandy.
But when he acts like he wears the pants in his relationship, it irritates me because I've been around him and his wife before.
And she tells him what to do.
Yeah.
Yeah. I think we've all seen that.
Yeah.
And even when he talks to his wife, he talks like this.
He does.
He like whispers.
Yeah.
You guys have no idea.
No, we do.
I think that's what he's saying.
It's what's annoying to Ray.
Your thoughts on your box?
I mean, we know in my household, I can text it right now.
What are you going to say?
Where's the pants?
She's going to be like, what pants?
You can text her right now.
You really showed us.
She's like, I don't know where the pants are.
She's like, I told you to wash them.
Where are they?
I said, who wears the pants in our relationship?
And she'll know you're kidding and it's going to be a bit.
No, just ask her.
I didn't say this is a bit.
I didn't say this a joke.
She's typing.
She's typing, she's typing.
She'll say something fine.
She said, I do, idiot.
There you go.
I do.
Who's I?
She said she does.
Oh, got it.
Yeah.
There you go.
There you go.
Thanks, Ray.
But you were going to show us by you texting it what the real answer was.
So you did.
I think she knew it was a bit.
That's what I just said.
So she didn't answer seriously.
That response, exactly.
All right, we're done.
Thank you guys.
Hope you have a great day.
Josh Turner will be on tomorrow.
We'll see you tomorrow.
Thank you for hanging out with us.
And we're this, we talked about, we talked about a lot here.
A pole vaulting.
Yeah.
Learned a lot about that.
Yeah, we did.
And then we're going to try to shoot back.
