This week on the Sports Slice podcast, it's all about the NFL draft.
And we've got a special guest.
The director of the NFL's East West Shrine Bowl, Eric Galco, joins the Sports Slice podcast to break down what really matters when evaluating draft prospects.
From hidden traits teams look for to the biggest mistakes franchises make to the players flying under the

fathering twins. But the pregnancy appeared to be a hoax. You doctored this particular test twice,
and so much. I doctored the test
once. It took an army of internet
detectives to uncover a disturbing
pattern. Two more
men who'd been through the same thing.
Greg Gillespie and Michael Marantini.
My mind was blown. I'm Stephanie

When a group of women discover they've all dated the same prolific con artist,
they take matters into their own hands.
I vowed, I will be his last target.
He is not going to get away with this.
He's going to get what he deserves.
We always say that, trust your girlfriends.
Listen to the girlfriends.
Trust me, babe, on the IHart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
What's up, everyone?
I'm Ago Wode.
My next guest, it's Will Ferrell.
Woo, woo, woo, woo, woo.
My dad gave me the best advice ever.
He goes, just give it a shot.
But if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall
and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay to quit.
If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration.
It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat.
Just hang in there.
Yeah, it would not be.
Right, it wouldn't be that.
There's a lot in luck.
Listen to Thanks, Dad, on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Wakey, Waky, Aks and Bakey.
It's time for the Bobby Bones pre-show.
Here's your host.
Bobby Bones.
Yes.
Okay.
We're trying to develop this because if you're new and we have 15, 20 minutes before the show starts, we come on, get some stuff off our mind.
Also, workshop it a little bit.
Like, if it's super funny, we may use it on the real show, too.
And also, I would.
Oh, it's like auditions?
Mostly it's like, you know, maybe.
I wouldn't even say that.
I would say if it's really good and we're like, oh, we can expand on this.
Okay.
Or we find a different angle.
But I'll say this.
I think the clapping is a little too intense for early morning.
The person, us clapping or the sounds?
The people, the sound effect.
I would agree.
Because I love Ray's intro, but I think nobody's coming to a show and clapping like that early.
Yeah, you're right.
So maybe we found like a more sizzle.
Like a temper down.
Like.
Oh, yeah.
I don't even know what that is.
Oh, like one guy in there?
He's waking.
Ray could do it.
Ray I figured out.
We have plenty of time.
What about the Savage Garden music?
You like that?
Yes.
Is that what it is?
Is that Savage Garden?
No, but it sounds like, do I love you?
Okay, let's play the game.
Savage Garden songs.
I'll go first.
I know.
I knew I loved you before I met you.
Can I go next?
That's the only one I know.
No, you don't.
No, there's one more.
I literally don't know a single one.
Do you know the one I just saying?
Kind of, but I don't know the name of it.
I can play it, but I can't play it through what Ray's doing.
But what I can play is through my phone,
because I'm just playing into the background.
Oh, I think I know which one it is.
Truly madly deeply.
No, that's not it.
No, that's the one you just gave them, though.
I went second.
Yeah, that's a good one.
Okay?
Yeah.
We have to sing it, though, Launchpot.
Go ahead.
Truly, madly, deeply, I love you.
No, no, no.
Can you sing truly madly deeply?
I'll be your fantasy.
I'll be your love, I'll be your thing,
and everything that you need.
How's the chorus go?
Truly, madly, deeply, I know.
You're doing him.
Yeah.
I want to stand with you on a mountain.
That's it.
I want to flow with you in the sea.
Do the high part
Something
I want to stand by you forever
Until the sign comes
That on me
I want
Too early
This is the post shop
I nail it perfectly
So there's two songs
No there's another one you'll know too
This is too
This is too
I'll be your least
I'll be your nuts
You're nuts
I love
Whoa whoa whoa
That part
No way
What
And then I think you'll know the song that goes
It was our first ever hit
It's like
Duma numid numbinga
Drink a cherry cola
That's them
No way
Almost positive
I gotta make sure
I like that song
I'm pretty sure this is
That's just a song
Playing in the Room right?
Mm-hmm
What is that?
That song's just playing in the room somewhere
Yeah it's from my phone
Oh okay
This is it
This is like
that first one. This song was kind of a jam.
Yeah, it is awesome.
Yeah. This is...
2000.
2020.
No.
I don't want to know.
Just what I'm going to do.
I'm going to do my neck.
I call my car car car.
Close my eyes.
I'm like a big up.
I drink for a lady.
That's in a movie.
A drink of cherry cola.
Yeah, dude, that's a good song.
I didn't know that was them.
That's a good one.
So they have three hits or three songs that people know.
Yeah.
And I also think they're not American.
So I think we have three American songs.
Oh.
Are they American Mike?
Australia.
And so I'm sure they're not.
They probably became massive there, and they have a lot of songs where they're from.
Yeah, yeah.
And then America, they came across.
But they have a song that's a hundred and, oh, okay.
Truly Madly Deeply.
That's their biggest.
$525 million.
I knew I loved you.
$277 million.
To the moon and back.
Huh.
To the moon back is the cherry cola?
Uh-huh.
Earth.
Let's see.
Earth is Savage Garden.
Come in.
This is
From that same album though
Back in the day
Is that where the two of the guys
Are in the front of the album?
Well all of them are that
Oh there?
I don't know if I know this good
You know this one?
What's the name of it?
To the moon and back?
I do not.
Doesn't sound familiar at all.
Wow.
You go to the hook?
Yeah.
Hey, you're thinking like I'm thinking
I was already scrolling there, buddy.
Don't know it.
Wait, I think I'm going to get there.
I think I'm going to get there.
This is familiar.
I bet I'm going to get the hook.
Yes
Duna
Dada
Dada
Dada
Dada Dada
Dada Dada
D Dada
Like the power pick
933 in Tampa
It's
It was like
It went out of 30
But we played it
A little bit
Here we go
She's there
And back
Yes yeah
Yeah
Barely
I know it
Can you
Be my baby
Boy barely
I knew
3 and a half
That almost
sounds like an 8
80s song.
Yes, very.
Like old school.
They probably incorporated some 80s sounds.
A little synthesizer.
There are a couple new artists now that use real 80s now.
It's kind of cool because, again, it's like super retro to 22-year-olds to use sounds from the 80s.
I'll see some of that on TikTok sometimes.
Savage Garden is no longer together.
They're not.
Just so you know.
That's true.
One of the guy, Daniels Jones, he left the industry and moved to Las Vegas where he went into real estate.
And then in 2015, him and his wife and two daughters moved back to the,
The Gold Coast.
Cool.
I'm glad you're on the LinkedIn.
Thanks.
Hey,
this is a wicked period.
How many endorsements does he have?
You know who?
Okay, so I'm going to give you a little fun fact.
I don't know if you remember the song by Evan and Jaron.
How can you not?
Okay.
And what is it?
Shut up.
You don't know it.
Go ahead.
What is it?
Jaron is from bowling for soup.
No, he's not.
Oh.
So, Amy, you'll probably recognize that a little bit.
It's called Crazy for this girl.
Let's see if Scoobo and Scoobin and now we're just.
radio nerd, so we know the stuff from being, from playing it. But, so
this is off my, I'm just playing it from my phone so nobody can sue us.
Yeah.
I found this work, Scuba.
Is it cheap?
So, sounds familiar.
Well, maybe you'll, the core.
Eddie, you're not going to know it.
Lunchbox is definitely not going to know it.
Are you sure?
Yeah.
So.
It's about to go high.
Yeah.
Well, it's going to go into chorus.
They're twin brothers.
Here we go
She looks at me
About him
She don't know
Hold on
I heard this
I'm crazy for this
Girl
I'm crazy for this girl
Now you may not know it but I thought if anybody did you would
I feel like it's
familiar to me now
You were not in radio when it happened
So you just had to have been listening to the radio
So that's Evan and Jaron
There were twins from another country
I believe lunchbox.
Would you see where they're from?
Yeah, yeah, I'll look that up.
Evan and Jaron.
Yeah, like what district they vote in,
their cousins, their jobs.
So what year was that?
I'm going to guess 2002.
2003?
Yeah, they're American musicians.
2000?
Okay, fair enough.
Yeah.
They're from Tucker, Georgia.
Okay, okay, so great.
So they were twin brothers.
Good looking guys.
They had a big pop song.
And so Jaron from Evan and Jaron
then became a country art.
artist. And he's by himself. And he had a song that was a hit. Like when? Like 90s? No, 2000s.
Before us, like this right here. Jimmy Buffett signed them.
This song was so good. Like I loved it. It's funny too, but I'll play a little bit up here.
It's from Jaron and the Long Road to Love called Pray for You.
It's one half of the twins.
You might know this song, Amy.
I'm Googling.
Oh, yes.
Come true.
I pray for you.
Morgan knows it.
I know it, yeah.
So he was one half of Evan and Jaron,
just Jaron, who came and did Jaron in the Long Road to Love,
who kind of crossed over and did Country, which is pretty fun.
How do you find all this out?
And now he, I'm curious.
Because sometimes I'll just go search some of these bands from way back in the day.
he is also still a writer in town
I think he even owns a publisher company
I messaged him once it's like a fan
Jaron? Yeah like once like two years ago
I was like dude
hi I had nothing to say
but I was like that's cool
lunch fuck what's he doing
I mean I'm looking
it has 2011 is the last
known thing of him
not music though look at
Hey Mike would you go elevated
he's probably on Ask Jeeves
well you get on Google and look at
Jaron
I think he's out like doing a publishing deal
or he has a publishing company?
No.
Jaron Lowenstein is his name.
Yeah.
He's 50.
Evan apparently became Kevin Spacey's manager in 2016.
Oof.
That's pretty good good good as manager though.
Yeah, but he was like,
dealt with a lot of stuff though.
I know, I'm saying he probably...
Is he still it?
No, just says he became that.
I'm crazy.
What you got, Mike?
In town, I'll message him right now.
Save you still alive.
He is alive.
What do they do?
Jaron Lowe is his name here.
This is what he wrote.
It's a funny bio.
You know he's a funny guy.
Musical one-hit wonder twice.
Vision architect, managing smart people
and building businesses with them.
He follows me.
Hey, man.
What's up?
So what did you message him about?
The one I sent him.
I can scroll all the way back.
I said, I sent him something.
Then he sent me something way later about some music or something.
And then I just said, I was real up front of it.
I said, what's the goal?
Like mass appeal?
Are you targeting?
Because I guess he works with Mark Scribilla, Skibula.
Oh, yeah.
I think's great.
Yeah, he's awesome.
And I was like, what's the goal here?
How can I help?
Mark Skibylia.
I think that he says.
Skibilia, yeah.
Huh.
Anyway, I'm not going to message them now.
Then I get a response.
I don't want that.
Okay.
Let's take a break.
As in for four hours.
You go with that, Ray?
Yep.
Now, you'll just hear some commercials.
We'll come back for intro after this.
But yeah, that's what we just did.
We didn't really mean to do any of that, didn't we?
How do we even get started on that?
Savage Garden.
How do we say Savage Girl?
Oh, Ray's music.
The intro music, yeah.
And for those that don't know, this used to be our show for five hours where we would do this right here.
I'd have a whole show prepared.
Somebody would say something like,
oh, check out that shoestring.
I wonder where shoestrings were invented.
Oh, and then away we go for hours.
All right, thank you.
And back in a second.
A win is a win.
A win is a win.
I don't care what you're saying.
Yep, that's me,

There's two golden rules that any man should live by.
Rule one, never mess with a country girl.
You play stupid games, you get stupid prizes.
And rule two, never mess with her friends either.
We always say that trust your girlfriends.
I'm Anna Sinfield, and in this new season of the girlfriends,
Oh my God, this is the same man.
A group of women discover they've all dated the same prolific con artist.
I felt like I got hit by a truck.
I thought, how could this happen to me?
The cops didn't seem to care.
So they take matters into their own hands.

My next guest, you know from Step Brothers Anchorman,
Saturday Night Live and the Big Money Players Network.
It's Will Ferrell.
Woo.
Woo!
My dad gave me the best advice ever.
I went and had lunch with him one day.
And I was like, and dad, I think I want to really give this a shot.
I don't know what that means, but I just know the groundlings.
I'm working my way up through, and I know it's a place that come look for up and coming talent.
He said, if it was based solely on talent, I wouldn't worry about you, which is really sweet.
Yeah.
He goes, but there's so much luck involved.
And he's like, just give it a shot.
He goes, but if you ever reach a point where you're banging your head against the wall,

In 2023, former bachelor star Clayton Eckerd found himself at the center of a paternity

This began a years-long court battle to prove the truth.
You doctored this particular test twice in selling, correct? I doctored the test once.
It took an army of internet detectives to crack the case.

It's time for the Bobby Bones post show.
Here's your host, Bobby Bones.
Something that happened that I just forgot to talk about was Liam from One Direction
died after it fell from a hotel room.
I saw it pop up on my Instagram.
It's not like I was a big One Direction fan, but he was famous and he was young.
So I've heard a few stories.
I have the latest version that I haven't read over yet, so let's get through it.
The former One Direction singer died Wednesday evening.
several witnesses the hotel were saying he was staying in a hotel.
He fell from the third floor.
They say they do not know if it was intentional or accidental.
Witnesses say it happened shortly after 5 p.m. in Buenos Aires.
And he had been acting erratic in the hotel lobby earlier.
He smashed his laptop, had to be carried back to his room.
He had been in Argentina for a Nile Horan concert,
who was another one of the 1D guys.
It says, Lian was 16 when he got in the group.
He struggled with alcohol, prescription drug addictions at one point.
Earlier this week, there were reports about Liam's ex-fiancee alleging he'd left her after asking her to get an abortion.
Her attorneys had been trying to send him a cease and desist to stop contacting her.
It's unclear at this point if that triggered his erratic behavior at the hotel.
He was only 31.
The part to me, I guess, that stands out is they had to carry him back to his room.
Like all the other stuff is that sucks or that's a detail.
but the carrying him back to the room
seems like he was not in a good
physical state.
Well, yeah, I think his room was
trashed and drugs and...
Oh, yeah.
I didn't know if they had found any drugs or anything.
Yeah, and they said they,
he went down there to talk to whatever the other guy's name was.
Because they hadn't talked in a while,
we had to talk some things out.
Who, Liam?
Nile?
Nile?
Yeah, Horan?
He went...
He had been in Argentina for a Nile Horal contest.
Yeah.
Or on concert.
Because they had some stuff to talk out.
They hadn't talked in a while.
But then he still went to the concert?
Hmm.
Or did he?
No, he went to the concert and I guess they talked.
I don't know.
Wow.
Well, it does sound like if they're carrying him up,
there's probably some sort of chemical deal.
That's how the hotel manager described the guest as overwhelmed with drugs and alcohol.
Wow.
But that's, that sucks.
One person's take on it.
Yep.
And that's somebody you look at and you're like, he's good looking, he's rich, he's famous.
Got it all working for him.
You think?
I don't think as much anymore.
Really?
You just think everyone's kind of dealing with something?
I think everybody's dealing with something.
Yeah.
I think everybody's dealing with something.
And the better it looks on paper, a lot of times,
I'm going to say, the worst it is,
but more likely, there's some struggle happening.
Because if you're doing a really great job
of making sure on paper it looks good,
there's probably a reason you're doing such a good job
making it look it's like couples that post always post together always post pictures together
always always always so if you're an influencer and that's part of your brand it's how you make
money i get it boom but if you're like always always always i'm like ah but there's always happy
like always it's like every second picture like i could could live this life a hundred times
and hope to get her the next day he's like i would build a hundred bathtubs of my teeth that's not
one don't use that but it's just always all right
I'm always like, okay, there's something up.
Yeah.
Not that there's any sort of like divorce or they are thinking of it,
but it's some dynamic there doesn't feel in real life what we're seeing and taking in.
But then we compare ourselves to that and we don't feel the good about it.
Yeah.
It would be pretty cool.
If you love someone so much, you built a bathtub out of teeth, though.
That's love.
Whose teeth?
Who cares?
Yeah.
My own, but I only have a few.
You only have those.
These are all fake.
So I get new ones, new fake ones.
A woman died for 11 minutes, claims she saw heaven and hell.
Both? She saw both? Hey, can't prove she didn't.
The other one he talked about, Amy, was a doctor.
Yeah, and they usually only see heaven. No one usually sees hell.
So this is a new one.
Can't prove she didn't. That's true.
A Kansas woman, Charlotte Holmes, has shared her near-death experience
describing how she visited heaven and then saw the edge of hell during an 11-minute journey after her heart stopped.
She says she was led by angels to heaven where she experienced pure joy.
her journey took a dark turn
when God walked her and showed her the edge of hell
where she witnessed
an unbearable contrast to heaven
smelling rotten flesh
and hearing horrifying screams
after making a full recovery
she has shared her incredible story
I mean she can write two books on this
That's pretty cool
Which what like one heaven one hell?
No just experiences and make up new stuff too
What do you mean make up new stuff?
It's not what she's talking about
Recount, recount
Yeah she's talking about what she experienced
She's not making anything up.
Can't prove she didn't.
But you think she should expand on it?
She got to either or you can't.
Because again, you can't prove she didn't.
So you can't prove anything she's saying is a lie.
There's a guy in high school who got stabbed in a fight,
and he said he saw the light.
A lot of times, too, but that's different.
I don't know about the stabbing and the light.
Maybe that was like the pain.
Ow!
Light, you see it.
Or sometimes I have him ahead.
I fall in my head.
I see a light.
That's because my head.
Or the flashlight that they shine in your eyes.
You okay, man?
That's a good one too.
Yeah, right.
Or when I go to the eye doctor dialysis, eye dial, that thing?
But what he said was like, I felt like I was going to heaven.
The light was coming and I was like on my way, but then I got sucked back and then I woke up.
They almost die?
Yeah.
Yeah, his heart stuff.
Can't prove he didn't see it.
Is he doing all right now?
Damn, it's been a while.
I've talked to him in a long time.
Yeah, I, you know, there's science behind seeing lights and thinking you're floating,
and a lot of that is what the chemicals in your brain are releasing.
and so it feels like you're doing that.
But again, you can't prove she's not telling the truth.
How about if that really happened to you and nobody would believe you?
Because I think about that too.
That'd be terrible.
Like I got pro-bbed by a couple aliens once.
Go ahead. We're listening.
And what was weird was it was at a bar and I wasn't even in space.
It was like a biker bar. It's weird.
And they were just like bikers.
They weren't really aliens.
But I felt like they were aliens.
But I don't want to talk about that because nobody will believe me.
What in the world?
What was that show that we watched where like everyone had the same story though?
What was that?
That was good.
That's Netflix.
Not soft mystery is on Netflix.
That was crazy.
They'd never met each other from all over the same city and they were all like, this happened.
That is bizarre.
Or were they reading a script?
No.
Some of them still never met each other.
How do you know that?
It was on TV.
We don't know that.
The science behind seeing a light is not fully understood.
Here are some explanations.
Brain chemicals.
As death approaches, the brain releases chemicals that it can increase awareness or hyper.
reality. Retinal ischemia. When the eyes blood and oxygen supplies depleted, it can cause
visual activity that explains lights at the ends of what looks like tunnels. That sounds. So a tunnel would be,
okay, so the darkness would be the dark closing in on itself, which seems like a tunnel and the
light at the end of the tunnel. So it's doing those two things at the same time. Does that make sense?
Yes. Tunnel vision. Visual disorders like glaucoma can cause tunnel vision.
which is associated with hypoxia and fear, both common when dying.
Serotonin, mystical feelings of oneness are associated with serotonin 2A receptors.
Blocking these receptors or removing parts of the limbic system can contain them to block D.
Anyway, there's a lot of semi-scientific answers that can explain some of what's happening.
But you can't prove she didn't.
Yeah.
When he walked over to the edge and said, look down there.
There's hell.
She's like, wow.
I'm at the Grand Canyon.
And then the fact that she could smell something was pretty interesting.
Rodded flesh.
Yeah, that's weird.
Whenever nobody has flesh, that's not even a flesh-type place.
Why, you smell a flesh?
You're right, they're all spirits.
Do you get new fleshes?
Maybe.
Maybe, because I can't prove she didn't.
Yeah.
It's interesting.
I swear, if I just wasn't tired,
I could just say I almost died and come up with some crap and then just...
But that wouldn't be a real experience.
I know.
Okay.
I'm saying just commit to it.
Enough people are going to believe you.
Run with it.
Because you can't prove.
That's one of the rare, weird things.
You cannot prove did or did not happen.
But instead of a line,
why don't you just like write a fictional story?
It doesn't sell near as much.
Are you kidding?
Even King made a pretty good live.
You're talking about one author.
If you have a near-death experience
and you can tell the story, you'll travel, you'll tour.
But what sucks is you're saying it now
in the way that you're saying it
and you're on record saying it this way,
what if next year you do die and see the light?
Nobody's going to believe you because you've said this.
No, I'd be like, why would I even do this?
If I already said there's no way that.
But then you're saying this now.
Exactly.
I would say the opposite thing I would do.
If I were planning it, I would have never have said that stuff earlier.
Oh, boy.
I know, but I'm saying it really happens to you and then no one's going to believe you.
That's what I'm saying.
They will believe me because I would go, do you think I would fake it after I said all that stuff about how he uses to fake it?
Of course not.
Like all that stuff, I would never fake it after I said I'd fake it.
That's why you know it's real.
You would say that.
You're saying this now.
But you're really meaning that it is fake.
But I wouldn't be later and go, see what I'm saying.
I mean, I see what you're saying.
Okay, okay.
No problem.
All right.
I'm very confused.
I got this down.
All right.
He's saying I wouldn't have said what I'd said if I was going to fake it.
If I was going to fake it.
But I did say it.
That's why I'm not faking it.
Yeah.
And since I said I would fake it, of course I'm not going to fake it.
Because then you would be like,
you said you'd fake it. I'm like, that's exactly why you should believe I'm telling you the truth.
Then all this idiots would be like, yeah, that's true. Not idiots, no. I would. I'd be like,
yeah, you're right, man. Not idiot. Even though I know that you're really still faking it. That would be real.
Because in this case, it really did happen. Yeah, if I ever really do come out and say it, it did happen.
He's too tired right now to...
What do you mean tired? You're just tired of today or just tired of life?
Life. That's a heavy one.
I'm not tired of life in general. Yeah, yeah. Don't be tired of life, man. That's not good.
I'm tired of life.
That's why I want to retire.
I'm tired.
I was so tired last night I thought I was dying.
I fell asleep and this light started coming at me.
And I was like, I don't want it.
I don't want it.
Hey, that happened?
Well, I didn't see.
I don't want, because this is real.
It wasn't a full light, but it was like, I could like feel a light coming.
And I just remember saying inside of me, I don't want it.
And there was like a big, deep voice.
It was like, are you sure?
And it was just like, I don't want it because I love living.
And the voice was like,
you should write a book about it.
And I'm like, I don't know if I should
because I don't know what's happening here.
And he goes, remember what the bikers did to you?
And then I woke up.
So what did the bikers do?
You don't want to know.
I'm not sure they were bikers.
I think they were aliens.
So was that just real or?
Who knows, bro?
I don't know anymore.
Exactly.
Anyway, buy my new book and subscribe to my newsletter.
It's like these time travelers.
it on TikTok and like they hit one out of a thousand and all of a sudden they're like oh my god
they predicted it anyway it'd be easy to fake all that i'm not saying she's faking it but also don't
believe her i don't know but both can exist yeah someone's brain maybe has that experience but
maybe they do go to heaven and come back here's the thing with aliens lunch you wait
you're saying and again i don't even like to use the word aliens because aliens mean little green
people from other planets and that's not what I think if there is something.
What do you want to call it extra?
I'll just call it aliens because I think that's the easiest thing for all of us to
universally accept as something that's not us and not from exactly right here.
Okay.
Okay.
Here's the thing with aliens.
You know why we can't get them on tape, on film, recording, on digital?
You know why?
Just our technology probably isn't able to record them.
Think about the stuff our cameras.
if I pulled up my phone now and I just recorded this room,
how many things that we can't see
or would not be recorded on this phone that's actually in this room?
Lots, a lot of particles in the air.
Particles, lasers.
So just because we're not able to have images
or recordings of them,
and they're like, how do we, not all these recordings?
That doesn't mean they don't exist
because we can't record them with our technology
that's so freaking old school.
if they don't want to be seen, they won't be seen.
That's the thing with aliens, man.
The weird one is radio waves.
Like, they're everywhere.
Yeah, and you know what?
Try to record it with your phone.
Can't see him.
There's all kinds of energy everywhere.
Uh-oh.
Oh, God.
That to me.
That turns you off?
I was doing a joke.
I was doing a joke because what you did,
that was me joking because when I say this stuff.
Because he just said aliens.
I did the whole thing, aliens.
I'm doing it.
And Amy's like, energy.
And I'm like, oh, God, here we go.
That was good, pretty.
That was just.
a joke. I didn't mean it. It was only a joke sound.
I'm fine. I'm not going. I'm not going to. You don't have to.
No, I was just saying that literally was a joke. I was just, I know. It's a joke. I say stuff
too. It's equally as ridiculous. Go ahead.
That's not a ridiculous statement.
Amy, what do you mean? We're all energy. Energy. Energy. Energy.
I agree. Because like we had a friend, I would have a friend of ours that says that, you know, like, he, that when a football game is going on, like, the team feels the energy.
Yes.
From like on TV. You might. Not just the people there. But like, like,
If everyone in the country or around the world is going like, miss it, miss it,
that energy can get to that game and make them miss the kid.
Your friend's an idiot.
He's our friend.
That friend is an idiot.
An idiot.
An absolute idiot.
And you know what, regardless of it is, not my friend anymore, if you think that.
And he was dead serious about this.
But that's kind of what Amy's saying.
There's energy in this world.
I agree.
Oh, they're all kinds.
Like steam.
Evaporation.
Solar.
Solar energy, yes, yes.
Combustion gas.
Petroleum.
But like when you've got two magnets and you're watching them go and you put them together,
like you see them pull together,
but you can't see what just pulled them together.
I mean,
I agree with you.
You can't see it at all.
It's there.
And like your energy gets blocked in your body.
Much enerjoso.
That's right.
That's Spanish.
I can guarantee it's not intergoso.
What is it?
Anahia.
Anahia.
That's nice, Amy.
Mucho eni.
Yeah.
It's hereditary.
Of course, you're dead.
Yeah, there's many, many, many things we can't see or we have no ability to understand.
And levels of consciousness?
It doesn't mean that they do not exist.
We cannot go to.
Anyway, these bikers do.
The bikers that probed you?
They might have been alien.
It's more I think about it.
I followed the light.
And once I got there, I was at a biker bar.
Okay, let's see.
I got a few things I want to go over.
Oh, Liam's hotel room was wrecked.
That sucks.
I know.
I kind of wish you could have got healthy.
I didn't know him, obviously, but I hate to see anybody.
That goes through that.
And also, again, it's somebody who's young and has it all and seems like they have it all,
but they actually don't have it all.
Let's see.
Oh, I got a funny clip of Donald Trump.
I like this clip.
They were going hard on him for this, and I was like, you can go out for a lot of things.
Come up for a lot of things.
But people are so angry at, they just try to find reasons to be angry at people.
And so I saw the clip of Trump on Bustle with the boys, and I laughed.
And I can see why people would get upset by it, but I want to play it first and tell you why people should not get upset by it.
Go ahead.
I played football too.
I didn't particularly like it.
I didn't particularly like having some guy that was lifting weights all day long and came from a bad neighborhood.
And he sees me, they were tackling hard.
This was an high-quality football, but I didn't like it too much.
So where people got offended was coming from a bad neighbor.
which I think they, some people were trying to make that too mean somebody that's not white.
I got news for you.
I came from bad neighborhood.
I'm white.
And a lot of the white guys where I come from, come from a bad neighborhood.
And they lift a lot of weights and they hit hard.
Yeah, and Trump was very rich as a kid.
And he went to private schools and all.
But like, yeah, the rich schools didn't want to play us in anything because we were hardcore.
Like we would bite, kick.
That's what my coach would say.
He's like, and we were all like, his parents.
We were a grinders, man.
The whole place.
My coach would say, like, we're never going to win because you guys live in good neighborhoods.
Like, across the street, they're hungry, man.
Absolutely.
They work harder.
And so, but people tried to make that, like, a race thing.
It was not a race thing.
It was actually a funny thing because he's like, I was a rich kid.
I went to a rich school, and these guys that were lifting weights, you know, trying to get big.
That was their way out.
Or they worked at the mill and then went to school.
It was kind of funny.
Like, I don't want to go play them.
Kids from a lot.
but that wasn't what people tried to make it.
But we're at the point now where they try to make controversy out of everything.
But I did not, even when I heard that, think,
always it must be talking about black kids.
No.
Or Hispanic kids.
I thought, that's kind of funny.
I didn't even think black,
I just thought like people that come from poor areas.
I just think like he's a little sissy.
Or that.
Sure.
Yeah, it's funny either way.
But that was one of those clips where.
He just wanted to get tackled by something hard-bored.
I was from a bad neighborhood.
I was the, I was like, I don't want to get tackled by anybody.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, okay.
Okay, okay.
Got that.
Let's see.
What else do I have here?
This is a sensitive one.
And I don't know if I want to do it today.
We're cleaning out our studio today.
This is our, this is the last week we're going to be here.
We'll be moving out into the studio tomorrow.
Who knows what's going to happen tomorrow.
But, I screw it.
Hey, scuba.
Yeah.
You come to the microphone.
You can go to whichever one you want.
Yeah, I'll pick this one.
I'm just going to ask you a question.
You can answer it however you like.
Sure.
How's it going?
It's all right.
How you doing?
Uh-huh.
Is it all right?
I mean, I'm always in some sort of chaos.
But, yeah.
But it's normal for me.
Someone's reached out to me about your well-being.
Hmm.
Interesting.
Uh-oh.
Who's that?
Uh-oh.
I wonder who it is.
He hasn't said anything for like 20 minutes.
Uh-oh.
Whoa, boy.
But I'm not saying it's lunchbox.
I mean, I'm generally not.
I know, I know, I know.
I know.
I know.
Is everything as okay as it normally is?
Oh, it's not as normally as it okay as it normally is messed up, but yes.
I don't know what you just said.
I don't know what's going on.
He seems like he's nervous to speak.
Is your life in a place right now?
now where if it's normally at a five that it's at a five or above or is it a little below that
right now oh it's like a 0.7 okay that's all and that's why it's a bit sensitive and i was
asked if scuba's okay by who i don't want to um oh boy no not even that i can also tell when
scuba i have a theory and scuba also can tell when i'm not having a great day right because yeah it's
Scuba and I here early in the morning
Sometimes just him and I
Talking about stuff
I also have felt
Scoba has not
Been at
Not that his
Work hasn't been good
It's been great
But just personally
I can kind of look at him sometimes
Go like something's going on
I don't know what it is
But I have a theory
You know
Oh you have a theory
I don't know
Is it kind of reckless
Just to throw a theory out there
I don't think it's harmful
Are you concerned about him
Allegedly
I don't
I think it's okay to say
Go ahead
I'm curious I guess
is it because of the move?
Oh, no.
I mean, the move is like a, it is a stressor,
but that's just, we know this is coming.
Yeah, that's professional.
Yeah.
Oh, I thought it was.
I don't know what it is.
Well, we hope everything's okay, scuba.
I love it.
Sending our thoughts.
My favorite was Amy going on, I have a theory.
I'm like, it's got to be the move.
I thought, well, I know that it's been very,
he's like back and forth.
He's here and then he has to go there.
And then I hear him like.
I think that's probably a bit stressful.
Yeah, having to have all these meetings and figure it out.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
That's just part of the job, though.
No, this is added.
Like, it's an extra, a move is.
There was a picture that I was sent of, and everybody can do themselves.
You get everything done, I don't give a crap.
I don't worry about Scooba ever.
And getting anything done ever.
He's like the guy I don't worry about it.
But you were asleep here at work.
Oh, yeah, that was yesterday.
I crashed during a recording.
Yeah.
Which is not common.
Yeah.
You didn't have to say anything.
You can just say I choose not to say anything.
Yeah, my wife's in San Francisco and my mom's in town watching the kids and it's just not the same.
And she's been waking up late every morning.
And so I'm having to basically kind of help out and do a little bit of everything.
And, yeah, there's more.
Sure, but yeah.
Great. Just make it.
And you're good?
Yeah.
I'll be good when my wife comes back on Saturday.
Okay.
We just felt there was something was going on.
It's deeper.
Yeah.
And I worked with a guy that fell asleep at work and that didn't end up well.
What happened?
They found out he was on H.
Pust off.
Oh, no.
What's H?
Heroin.
The H.
You could just say heroin.
Oh, man.
It's kind of funnier if he just said.
It was crazy, dude.
Wait, so he fell asleep at work, and that's how they found out?
Why, was he in a dream going, I need his marijuana.
No, they drug tested him because he fell asleep during the live show.
Oh, that's terrible.
Hey, don't drug test Scooby.
Hey, we had that in our other show.
Some guy was an editor.
He passed out and he was on the H, too.
Oh, my gosh.
It was crazy.
That's terrible.
Because everyone, when they talked to everyone in the office, we're all like, yeah,
I've seen him sleep in there.
I propose we do not drug test scuba.
Wow.
You definitely find, you may find something.
Exactly, because I love scuba and it doesn't need it.
Okay, everybody?
He doesn't need it.
Okay.
He's a good guy, though.
Thank you, scuba.
Yeah, no problem, dude.
I appreciate the concerns.
Oh, concerned about you.
I didn't say it was lunchbox.
I know you did it.
And it was serious.
It wasn't like tattling.
Right.
But it was lunchbox.
It wasn't.
What the heck, dude?
But I've also felt.
But you realize you hadn't said anything in 10 minutes and all of a sudden.
We have the worst tales of anything.
Sorry.
The alien talk.
I tune out the alien talk.
But you jump back into everything else.
Yeah, aliens is like, that ain't my jam.
When you get quiet, we know it's about you.
You don't want it to be thought of.
Okay.
Scuba something wrong.
Let's do two more things.
Was there audio involved?
But I'm glad you're okay, man.
Eddie.
What's up?
your oldest son's going to homecoming?
He is.
He is.
What's the, what's their?
traditions for homecoming. I don't, I mean, the last time I went to homecoming was like 30 years ago.
So I don't know. And he told me that he's got a date and he's going to homecoming. And I'm like,
all right, cool. We've been talking about it. And then all of a sudden I was like, hey, do you need to
get her a mom? Like, is that even a thing? Because when I was in school, you got your date of
mom and she wore it at school. But I don't know. He had no idea what I was talking about.
Then I would guess the answer is no. Do they not do that anymore? It's a, I think it's a no.
Some people still have moms, but they make the moms for themselves.
Like, she may make her mom.
I doubt there's a mom involved.
Remember that with the little cowbells and they'd walk around?
Oh, dude, I see the pictures on Facebook.
Mums are still a thing.
Yeah, my friend Andrea makes mums.
She actually makes a lot of money making people mums.
But I think she's making them for people that are ordering them for, like parents are ordering for their kid or I didn't know it was like a date thing.
We didn't have that.
Mums?
You know moms?
Moms and then the guys wore the thing around their arm.
Yeah.
Like a little, it was a minimum.
Very small school.
And then
never had a date to Homecoming really
because Homecoming wasn't a thing.
There was a dance.
Some people had dates,
but we just went from the football field
down to the gym.
Who would we make a fun of the other day
because they didn't know.
Oh, lunchbox.
Because he played soccer.
Yeah.
No, not because he played.
It's not why we're making fun of them.
Whoa, what did you guys make fun of me for?
You were here.
He was talking about homecoming and I was like,
we just walked from,
and Ray goes, yeah,
we would just leave and walk down to the field.
The football players.
Lunchbox is like,
No, no.
Ours was not on the same night as the game.
Yeah, neither.
I know.
My son is on Saturday and the game's on Friday.
That's great.
I just said, though, after homecoming, we had it, we took shower, took her pads off.
Usually one could we scheduled to.
We play Glenwood.
Homecoming happens during football because everybody has to come back for football.
They don't come back for other things.
Oh, homecoming is for, like, alumni?
Yes.
I didn't know that.
Ours wasn't.
What?
Yes, guys, all homecoming is potential.
Like, it doesn't mean you have to go back.
If you live somewhere where people move out and leave, probably.
I'm from Mountain Pine.
Every week's homecoming.
No, you moved out and left.
No, everybody was already there.
But you never gone back for homecoming?
No.
Yes, you did for, was that your...
Well, my niece was like queen or I went to walk her down.
You went back for homecoming.
Because you're an alum.
No, only because she asked me to.
I've never been back as an alum.
You know everyone there was like, wow, Bobby came back.
He's coming home, baby.
When you live in a place where nobody moves away,
homecoming is every game.
get that. I understand, but...
So ours was just like... I'm pretty sure
that's what it actually was created for.
I think small towns, you just finish the game and you
walk down to the gym and have a dance.
With moms.
No, my mom never came.
No, not your mom.
I watch a lot of bread of shows. Slow horses.
Everything's mom. Mom and
privacy.
Who is that?
Oh, privacy. Do you need your privacy?
That's funny. That's funny. Okay, I think
that's it. Okay, two other
the quick things. Someone called Eddie a name and it was nice. Oh, this is cool. This is cool, man.
I was at church and I saw someone. I hadn't seen in a while. I was like, what's up, man? He's like,
hey, there he is. Producer Eddie, award winning producer Eddie from the award winning Bobby
Bone Show. I'm like, what are you talking about? Then I realized, oh, CMAs, we want a CMA. That's right.
But I'd never been called award winning. I thought that was cool. Yeah, that is cool. I think he's in the
industry. But you were confused. Like, we've won
four. But no one has ever called me
award-winning Eddie. Got it. Got it.
From the award-winning Bobby Bone Show. Like, that
sounds awesome. Like, we come here every day, do our
work, but we don't, like, I don't think about
that. But we won a freaking award, dude. After he told me that,
I, like, was on top. We've won
four CMAs, four A-CMs. We've went eight
of those. But when you're in the grind,
though, you're not thinking. You're just kind of keep going.
Next day, it's the next day. You've got to keep working,
or you're never going to have this again.
Okay, that's not how you, you're
totally stole that from my book. That's how I
unhealthfully feel.
That's what you always say. I know, and I hate that. And when you
say it, I'm like, why, why would you
think, oh, that's me? But I
did for the rest of the day, like, really just
sitting there. Like, that's pretty cool, man. We're award winning.
One final thing.
Two final things.
Is it normal that no one says hi to Eddie
when he gets home? Go ahead.
It's a real question. Okay.
Do people say hi? Amy, I'm going to ask Amy.
Like, Amy, do your kids say hi to you when you
get home?
Hey, Mom.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah, I get a hey mom or do you have any food?
I get acknowledged in some way.
I tried this for one week.
I was like, you know what?
I'm going to walk on my house and not say anything and just kind of go to my room,
change and sit down and watch TV.
For an hour, no one said hi to me.
For a week straight.
And I'm like, is this normal that like my kids don't say,
hey, dad.
What's up, dad?
Nothing.
I see you all the time.
That's what my wife said.
She's like, I just think that you were raised that way.
You were raised to walk into your house and be like, hey mom, hey dad, what's up?
What's going on?
Like, she's like, I didn't, I wasn't raised like that.
I think it feels a little weird, but I don't think it's weird in a bad way.
I think you're there all the time.
They just am like, hey.
Finally, I'm just like, hello?
No one's going to say hi to dad over here.
No one.
And then finally, like, one of my boys are like, hey dad.
Dude, after a week, you're just like, wow.
No, I'm just in general.
They just used me.
Like, lunchbox, see me a picture of you asleep.
So I'm wondering if everything's okay.
Are you okay?
I was just scuba man
You get him checked out for some age
You think that's normal?
What?
You can just walk into your house
And no one's said hi to you
I have six people living in my house
Including me
And my dog
That's weird
That's weird that nobody says
Hey what's up
Not one person
Final cookie draft results
You want to them?
Yeah
Not you
Why?
Mike has them
I asked if he
Oh I thought you were talking to Amy too
I know
I thought you were saying
Not you because you're the loser
You are not the loser
Can you run through these
Up, you said I was maybe going to be.
No, I said that you maybe was going to be, yeah.
Oh, you and Ray.
Tie for last.
No, I think it was, I don't know, because Morgan also had the weird, maybe Ray.
Monster, cookies between me and Ray.
They were both like cookies that give world peace and also have rain sprinkles on them.
One was called kitchen sing.
Yeah, yeah.
Tachues and, yeah.
Regardless, let's see.
In fourth place out of five.
We'll be getting to play the next week, but did not win.
With thin mint, snickerdoodles, and nutter butters, lunchbox.
Fourth place.
I guess that means I beat him.
Thin mintz got...
That's your fifth.
Fourth?
Fifth is out.
I know.
You said I wasn't out.
You said, you just said...
You looked at me and you said you didn't lose.
Sorry, bro.
I didn't see the results yet when I said that.
Oh.
I was just kind of saying.
Oh.
But you didn't lose.
Now that I look at the results.
Stupid.
Next up.
In third place
With M&M sugar cookie and no bake
Not going home and he always loses
Champazil
Well no, you get bronze
No to me that's a win
That is a win though for you
Yeah, Ramundo
So we have three people left
We have Amy, Morgan and myself
And I'll let you two decide
Well obviously Amy didn't lose
So it's been you and Morgan
Or am I messing with her
You guys act like you can predict me
You're not messing with her
You let it slip
No, I didn't.
Okay, Bones.
I knew beforehand, Amy, I already hadn't lost.
What?
Run the cookies by us.
Morgan lost.
Dang.
I know. Samoa, Carmel Delights, peanut butter, patties, and monster.
I think people thought there was an energy drink.
Hey, if you haven't had a monster cookie, you're missing out.
So we have two here.
It's either Amy or myself, and it was very close.
Very close in the voting.
Here are your options.
Amy had double-stuffed Oreos.
everything but the kitchen sink
and oatmeal cookies, no raisins.
I had chocolate chip cookies.
Frosted sugar cookie with pink icing.
That's solid.
Chips a hoy.
Oh, you win, man.
Everybody eats those.
But both two of yours are chocolate chip cookies.
No, but they're different.
Chocolate chip cookie and chips a hoy are two different.
Chewy, though.
I said chewy chips a hoi.
But they're exactly the same cookie.
Mm-hmm.
I mean, I was still big you because chips are.
chocolate chip is the most famous cookie.
In the summertime.
Right?
Like everybody eats chocolate chip.
I don't know what kitchen sink is.
Everything.
Like you just toss a bunch of stuff in.
I've been on this earth 43 years.
I've never heard of it.
All right, next up.
We heard of it now.
The winner.
It's a chocolate chip.
Amy, one's a day.
Two weeks in a row.
That's what I'm talking about.
Good job, good job.
Good job.
Okay, okay.
Nothing but the kitchen sink.
Well, I will make y'all some everything but the kitchen sink cookies.
That's hard with that music.
Probably the double stuffed Oreos won it for me.
Yeah, probably.
And oatmeal no raisin.
Why no raisin?
Because raisins and cookies are just terrible.
They are so good.
Bad idea. That idea.
Razons suck.
Might as well put dog turds in it.
Yes.
Exactly.
I feel a lot raisins.
We're done.
Thank you.
Thank you.
God bless you.
God bless you.
What if we just
do it?
I do that with my kids.
I hear it.
Go do it.
We'll see it tomorrow.
Bye, buddy.
A win is a win.
A win is a win.
I don't care where I'm saying.
Yep, that's me.
