Come on, buddy.
Welcome to Thursday show. Morning studio.
Morning.
Over 80,000 curig decaf pods had caffeinated coffee in them, it looks like.
Oh, whoopsie.
That could be terrible for somebody that can't have caffeine.
Or just the ones to go to sleep.
Right.
I would think there are more of those people out there, the people that are allergic to caffeine.
But yeah, can you be so allergic to caffeine, you die?
Well, I guess I don't mean like allergic, but some people, like if heart issues or something.
Oh, you need to.
Yeah, like my brother had a stroke.
He can't have caffeine.
But what if he has it?
I don't want to know.
What if he had one of these?
I don't know.
That'd be bad.
NBC News, there's a recall.
It's been issued for more than 80,000 cured coffee pods.
according to the FDA.
Whoopsie.
A little bit when you drink decaf,
aren't you just risking it
that it possibly could be
caffeinated?
Because I used to work at restaurants
and if you're out of decaf,
you just poured caffeinated in.
What?
Why wouldn't you just say
we're out of decaf?
I didn't do that.
Okay.
But it would happen.
Yeah.
All right.
Yeah, that's risky.
Isn't that just a risk you take?
I've never thought of that.
Like, I just trust it.
Like, one's decaf, one's not.
Right.
While very rare, you can die
from a severe acute
allergic reaction to caffeine.
Wow.
So I don't think that's happening a lot here, but it could.
Like even one death, is one death too bad?
Yeah, but I feel like if you are severely allergic to caffeine, you just stay away from it all.
You know why?
Because you know who knows what you're dealing with coffee?
Even in decaf, is there the tiniest trace?
I'm not talking about like this where it was like...
Of what?
Cocaine?
No.
Caffeine.
Caffeine.
When you say Trace, I always...
That's what I see in all these drug shows.
Trace is a Coke, John.
I need to watch a documentary around it because how do they decaffeinate the bean anyway?
Decaf coffee does content.
small amounts of caffeine. I told you. Wow. So I know it's a small amount, but that one,
that's just a given across the board. It's not going to impact you. But what they're saying is in
their pods, they had more than the usual small amount. Yeah. Next up, the South Carolina
measles outbreak reaches 789 cases. I saw that. I had to check the date on that article.
Measel. Yeah, I thought it was in 1861. What date is this? Same. Yeah. I was like,
where's my Edgar Allan Poe news?
Measels in South Carolina has spread to 789 people
Surpassing the 2025 West Texas outbreak that killed kids
And there were 762 in that one
The majority of cases remain centered in Spartanburg County
Mostly among people who were unvaccinated
There have been 89 new cases confirmed since last Friday
The outbreak is not under control
Health officials said that 557 people are in quarantine for 21 days
Wow
Oh.
Crazy.
All right.
Listen, here's a couple things I love.
Ready?
Go ahead.
Water.
My wife.
My dogs.
Vaccines.
That's it.
The razor back.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, there's more.
Yeah, I'm just saying.
Vaccines are way up there on that list.
That's how we're not in the 1800s because we've developed those.
Mr. Beast, back in the news, we had Amy's son on the podcast on Tuesday and he was talking about Mr. Beast.
Because, like, do you watch any streamers?
He's like, well, Mr. Beast.
And so the kids love Mr. Beast.
He gifted a 12-year-old
a bionic arm.
Oh, that's cool.
Wow.
He surprised a 12-year-old boy born without his right hand
with a custom bionic arm
at an open bionics clinic in Austin, Texas.
The child and his family had been unable to afford
a bionic prosthetic through insurance or crowdfunding.
The personalized hero pro arm
now allows him to perform two-handed activities
and has significantly approved his independence and confidence
from the New York Post.
Big shout out to Mr. Beast.
Amy, can you name Mr. Beast real name?
No. I do not know it. I can tell you what he looks like, but that's about it.
Yeah, I have a beef with what he looks like. Why?
Because he doesn't look like a beast.
Not at all.
He just looks like a normal dude, like friendly, kind of nerdy.
Yeah.
Like, I like it. He's not what you would expect by that name.
Beast, I expect somebody like Chris Hemsworth.
Yeah, big dude. Yeah, big dude. Yeah.
Like he, his name sounds like what lunchbox should look like.
But you don't look like that.
But he doesn't look like that.
He also is like super...
That's the similarity they have.
As a lot of people think lunchbox is bigger.
There's Mr. Beast and Mr. Least.
And they both don't really...
Who's Mr. Lease?
Well, just a...
You tell us.
His name is Jimmy Donaldson.
Really?
I never knew that.
I've never heard that.
It's like Jason Gibble.
It is.
The similarities.
And finally, from Hill Dickinson,
which is a law firm,
And we've been dealing with a massive ice storm that has crippled our town.
Trees falling all over the place.
Can your boss make you come to work when there's bad weather?
I don't, I guess he can't make you because like you're going to risk your life.
Workplace experts say employers should not encourage staff to travel when it's not safe,
such as when there's heavy snow or ice because if they were to get in an accident,
the company could get in some legal trouble,
especially if weather authorities warn people not to travel by car or public transportation.
I know of a couple stories where restaurants told people that,
that I know that they're like, if you don't come in, you're going to lose your job.
Oh, man.
Yikes.
So, hey, maybe you call Hill Dickinson, let them represent you.
He's got to.
Our thing is always, even if you have a cold, if you can't come in, don't come in.
If it's ice, email goes out.
You think, look, if somebody spills ice on the road from a bag of ice and you feel like that's too risky, don't come in.
Mm-hmm.
So, yeah, that's kind of the rule of law there.
So there you go.
Hello, Bobby Bones.
My boyfriend and I've been together about two years.
We got engaged.
recently. He treats me wonderfully and he treats my kids wonderfully. I have noticed during our entire
two-year relationship, though, that he has a major wondering eye. I know that it's normal to notice
other attractive people. I get it. That's not the problem for me. The problem for me is it takes me
out of my safety zone because he doesn't just look or notice. He stares. Particularly a couple weeks ago,
I had my work formal and I was dressed to the nines, but through the night, he definitely gawks
repeatedly. He didn't stare at me. He was not in awe of me. It seemed he was in awe of other people. It made me so
uncomfortable. Again, I know that it's normal to notice other attractive people, but I feel like there's a
healthy limit and he just can't help himself. Do you feel like this is disrespectful? Signed,
securely insecure. Amy, you be her. Oh, I don't like this at all. Oh, this is uncomfortable.
The staring feels creepy. Totally creepy. And I'd be embarrassed because if you're not the only one noticing,
I mean, if he's that obvious, other people, he's like the creepy stare guy.
And that's just uncomfortable.
And while he might be good to you and your kids, like, I hope you're not settling because
of that.
Engaged.
He treats him amazing.
Is that something you're willing to go?
You know what?
He treats him amazing, but he creepily stares at other people.
So what would you do then?
Yeah, do you tell him something?
What do you do?
I'm very turned off by this.
So, like.
Is this a conversation?
Oh, it's for sure a conversation.
And if he can't change it, like it could be a deal.
breaker because it's creepy.
Could be or would be.
Could be.
Because I don't know other variables at play.
If he makes up for it in every other way, he's perfect, but then he just stares at butts and women walking by.
Like noticeably stares.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Like he is perfect in every way.
Again, great to the kids, takes care of her, makes it feel sick.
But when a girl walks by, he's just like, stares at her butt the whole time.
Yeah, that's just going to be so unattractable.
to me. It's going to be a huge turnoff, so I don't know that. I mean, she's obviously been putting up with it for the last two years, though. That's hard. I mean, if he, he seems like, good men are hard to come by.
What if they're butt stares. With the butt steering. I can't give her advice and tell her what to do because I probably break up with them. Okay. And I don't want to tell her that. Your advice is break up with him. No, no, that's, I wouldn't be, I would eventually be so disgusted. Because like, he's going to get older and it's going to get worse.
And then he's the old creepy staring guy.
And I can't have that.
Because it's not worse that you just keep staring.
It's worse.
When you get older, it seems creepier.
Yeah.
Yeah.
It's not that he's going to stare more.
He's just going to get older and that makes it creepier.
Bad look.
And like you do not want to be linked to creepy old stare guy.
But Amy, you haven't told him anything.
Like, does she talk to him?
Oh, yeah, yeah.
I see this is a conversation.
I said if he doesn't change.
What do you say?
I say when you stare for long periods of time at other people,
it makes me feel very uncomfortable and disrespected.
And what I need for you is to not stare at people.
What if he says, got it.
And then he pulls a pair of sunglasses out and puts them on his head.
It's like, I'll just wear these all the time so you can't tell.
No, because now, okay, now you're not being as creepy because it's not as obvious,
but you're still being disrespectful.
And I feel like she's trying to tell herself over and over.
I get that it's normal to look at other people.
Like there's only so you can only tell yourself that statement for so long because yeah, you notice other attractive people and you choose not to stare.
What if though he has this is a problem?
Yeah, this is not a good problem to have.
Like there's something like he's a disorder?
A staring disorder.
I'm sure that some people don't communicate properly.
And some people are close talkers.
Some people are.
What if that's his thing?
Okay.
therapy. Okay. So your advice is have a conversation. Have a conversation. Tell him in a
kind, use intentional dialogue like I did. When this happens, it makes me feel. And then what it brings
up for me is this. And what I need from you is this. And then if that doesn't work, hit us up.
We'll give you more advice. Well, it's probably breakup with that. It's probably break up. Okay,
there you go. Close it up. On the Bobby Bones show now. Bailey Zimmerman.
Bailey around Christmas had posted a TikTok and he surprises mom in the new house.
Yes.
And then you ended up surprising her with an SUV.
Starting off January of last year after Cancun, Crash My Playa, we get home from Crash My Playa.
And my mom gets really sick.
And she, like, is in the hospital, like, on a ventilator, like, might die sick.
She was one day away from dying, basically.
She had went through, man, it was 20, 22 days on a vent or 23 days.
Yeah, it was really crazy.
It was, I was going to the hospital between tour and between everything and, like, you know,
staying at the hospital on my bus and then going to see her.
And we all honestly thought she was like not going to make it.
And then one day she just woke up and like was good and like, you know,
the vet came out and everything was good.
And now she's alive.
At that moment when she was just like really sick.
She was like down kind of like rock bottom, you know, like all that time in the hospital made her quit smoking cigarettes.
So where my brain was like, man, she's really had a hard time.
I want to get her a house.
That's where it started.
My mom had like has always tried to give me like the best of the best whenever she didn't have it.
And I'm like, I'm at a point in my life where I've been very, very blessed and like, you know, the success and everything.
I was like, I'm going to give her a fully new house and this is, I'm just going to do it.
and I know I won't regret it, you know, in the future.
You know, I'll just have to, let's, you know, keep working hard, you know.
When I started looking, there was this one house in town that my mom's best friend, her name was Joni,
and it caddy cornered my grandma's house.
And my mom had grew up on that land riding dirt bikes where that house was built.
And Joni was my mom's best friend.
Joni built the house.
She ended up dying in 2009.
And it was a really, really bad time for my mom.
And that house had just always meant a lot to her.
And then it got sold to other people.
And I ended up buying that.
house and it catty corners my grandma so now my mom can go right over to my grandmas help her
grandma can come to her house it's like a god-given like blessing so we went in like yeah made it all
new and black and white and i gave her like a chill area how long it takes to rebuild the house like
four months or so was it hard to stay quiet about it as it was happening so she had i had went
with her to the house because she thought i was looking for a house so from then on she didn't really know
much and I think she had this suspicion because there were so many people there and there's not
anybody in town that like would buy that so and I hadn't said anything but she didn't say anything
about it so we just didn't say anything I thought my grandma was going to ruin it dude oh your grandma knew
my grandma knew a little bit because she overheard some stuff and then I was like you better
just chill out were you trying to be Christmas yeah that was like our thing I really wanted to get it
in by when you drove her by when you drove her too why were you driving
Were you going to your grandma's house, finger quotes, or what?
I was just like driving around, and I was just like, yeah, let's just go drive around.
And then I told her we were making a video.
Got it.
I thought I needed to make a video.
There had to be a better joy than just driving around.
Oh, I need to make a video.
And so when you drive by, that's her reaction, her genuine reaction.
Yeah.
So I saw that video, but then it was like, there's more.
It was like one of those 90s commercials that come on.
And then you backed the truck, the SUV out of the garage.
Was she suspecting that at all?
No.
There was a lot of people like, she kind of seemed more over.
overwhelmed about the car than she did the house and I'm like she's like I can't keep reading comments all
these comments anyone negative I just want to I just want to DM and I just want to tell him off and I'm
like mom just it's okay like just chill out she was going to read the comments she was like everybody
thinks I was more excited about the car than the house but yeah she was really surprised when when everybody
was in the garage because I did the same thing for my grandma there's another video of me giving my
grandma a car and I just used the same like for the video and how to like surprise her with it I just used
the same like kind of idea.
And I put it on her.
Yeah.
Yeah.
It was like everybody hides in the garage.
And then I, because I didn't know.
I was like, okay, I can't be in the garage.
Because she's going to be like, what's going on?
So I was like, hey, I need to set the same thing.
Because we always make videos when I'm back home.
So I was like, hey, I need to make another video.
One earlier didn't.
I don't know.
I need to redo it.
And she was like, okay.
And then I just started a video.
And I was like, it did.
Yeah, it was so funny.
Because she was like, you did this to grandma.
and now it's like flipped on me.
So yeah, it was, man.
It's like what you dream of, like literally as a kid.
And you watch it in the movies, you know, the rock star, like, you know, takes care of his family.
And, like, it's just everything I was taught growing up, too, just like, when you get the chance to help people that helped you, like, man, my mom, bro, we've talked about this, the $1,500 that my mom gave me to record my first song.
I quit my job and needed $1,500 to become a country singer.
Like, how does, how crazy does that sound?
And she was just like, yeah, perfect.
didn't have $1,500.
It gave it to me.
So it's like, man, I still got more to do.
You know, like, she still deserves more
because I would not be here without that $1,500.
Where would I be now, you know?

It's time for the good news.
It's Bobby.
Tell me something good.
Last month, a couple in California got engaged at a theater
after viewing a special movie created by the groomed
His name is Austin, and he asked his girlfriend, hey, let's go to a movie.
There was this local artist showcased at this little cool theater.
So they went and they're sitting down and they're pretty much the only ones in the theater.
And this movie about the relationship started playing.
So she's like, what's happening here?
The theater then went from empty to being filled with friends and family who slowly trickled in.
The film, which was created by Austin over nearly a year, was about their 10-year love story.
it had friends from different stages of their life,
a choreographed danced with the dance team from UCLA
that he got to do at, their dogs.
And then by the time the movie was over,
the theater was almost completely full of people that they knew.
That's from people.
Here's the thing, great story.
But if you're like his buddy and his buddy's girl hears about it,
his buddies held to a higher stage.
Oh, yeah, they're all in trouble.
He just set the bar.
Well, Austin did this with his girl.
You did my name up on a scoreboard?
Yeah.
I mean, I don't know how you.
You don't. That's so good. That's really good. As the movie ended, Austin, then, because he walked out near the end, walked back down the aisle, playing the ukulele and singing the way I am, a song he had performed when he first asked her to be his girlfriend a decade earlier.
Guys, Austin sounds amazing. Do we want to marry Austin?
Even the friends that maybe have already been married a while are looking at their guys like, you didn't do this.
That's again, what a great story. Austin, big shout out to you. People magazine, that's what it's what it's
all about. That was tell me something good.
So we're driving near the house and there's a guy in a big white SUV and he's stuck. He's
near the house. He's obviously stuck and he's spinning. He's by himself. And I just have
on sweats. We've been dealing with no power. We've been dealing with bouncing back and forth.
We were staying over in like a studio that we use some for podcasting. And so I was like,
oh man, I got to help this guy. And so I'm like, are you good? I knew he wasn't good.
You good?
And he's like, I'm stuck.
I'm like, all right.
So I get out and I'm like, okay, you get on the gas.
And his car, have you seen the pictures?
Yes.
Okay, his car was right by a tree or I would go and push from the back glass,
like put my hand inside the back glass, the SUV and push from the side.
It was right by a tree and I don't want to die and have that thing like sliding and pinch me in.
So I'm behind the car and it's ice.
And I'm like, go.
Woo, I'm trying to rock it.
It's one man and one man.
Woo.
Nothing.
We got close once.
Go, I'm pushing.
Woo.
Nothing.
He's like, she's not moving.
Caitlin's in the car.
She's pregnant.
She doesn't like it when I say very pregnant.
She's pregnant.
She's pregnant.
And I said, Caitlin, can you get in this guy's car?
Oh, so that both of you guys.
Yeah, okay.
And she's like, yeah, I guess.
And so she's in like slides and sweats.
I walk her over.
Obviously, I don't want her to fall on the ice.
And so she gets in the car.
I'm behind the car.
He's kind of behind the car because there are trees.
And now the one else's going to get smashed.
We want to die.
And so we're rocking it.
Rock one.
Well, first of all, we grabbed a bunch of stuff to put in the mud underneath it and try to get some kind of traction.
So we did.
I was like, hey, let's find, first of all, let's use your mats.
Because that's the first thing you do.
I've been stuck many times.
To put the mats under there, try to get some traction.
That didn't work.
Because he'd already dug holes from just spinning so much.
And it had gone from ice and it was starting to be the dirt.
So then we got like some tree.
We're cramming tree limbs and stuff under there just to get any, try to get any traction with the wheels.
And so we go, we're rocking.
Ready, two, three, go.
Kailen goes, a little scared, not her truck.
So she didn't hit it hard the first time.
We're like, you got to go.
And then we're also watching to make sure no cars were coming down the road.
So we didn't hit them.
Like she didn't jump out there and lose control.
So we go again.
We just have to get it over this lip on the road.
This ice, this lip to get on the road.
One, two, three.
We started to get a little traction.
We're go, go, go, go.
Backset, didn't get it.
Dang, it's frustrating.
It's so frustrating.
And I start to realize, I'm kind of getting dirty by this.
No big deal.
Next time.
Go.
Just, w-nailing it.
We're pushing as hard as we can.
It starts to get some lip.
By this time, I can feel the mud just covering me.
My face.
All my.
body every i'm just covered caked in mud the truck catches oh pulls out i'm not kidding when i say
this i'm covered in mud too the guy goes hey man thanks can i get a selfie no no i don't even
i didn't even know you're joking no i didn't even know that the guy knew me from the show it was dark
he was stuck and i'm like sure man so i do a thumbs up i'm covered in mud i don't realize how much mud
I'm covered in yet.
It's funny.
And so he goes, thanks, man.
Caitlin gets out and walking back to the car.
He just gets off and drives off.
I don't know what I thought would happen.
Like, if you'd be like, hey, thanks, I really appreciate it.
I don't know.
So did he slide off?
I don't know.
Oh, you don't know.
No, because as soon as I got there, I wasn't, I'm not asking him much question.
I was like, hey, I said, hey, are you stuck?
I knew he was stuck.
He was like, yeah.
I said, can I help you?
And he was in the truck because at first it was just him.
So we weren't talking like because he was in the truck as I was pushing.
And the second one happens.
And then we're just out there.
I'm cold.
And you had on a pair of my...
I think...
I can tell.
I looked at your pictures.
They're literally my favorite shoes.
No, I knew what they were because I've seen you.
And I'm not saying.
And I love shoes.
And these were expensive shoes.
Oh, no.
Are they ruined?
I don't know how they're not ruined.
It's up on Instagram.
If you go Mr. Bobby Bones on Instagram, I am covered in mud.
It was in so much so I took a shower and I had to have my wife come evaluate and be like,
no, there's still, it's in your ears.
And I had to dig in my ears to get it out.
I ruined everything.
Yeah.
And I don't know.
I don't think I didn't want anything from the guy.
Just felt weird.
But he just jumped in the car and drove off.
My wife said he might have had food in his car to deliver,
like he could have been a delivery driver.
Because she saw a bunch of bags of food in there.
Either that or he's picking up.
But I don't know.
Oh, those shoes, man, they're done.
They're, oh, no.
I mean, maybe we could.
They are caked.
They are caked in mud.
Maybe we could restore them.
Oh, you know what you should do is tag the brand and be like, look, I'm going to
tell you that brand does not care.
These shoes died being a hero
And maybe they'll send you a new pair
Yeah, they don't care
Bad customer service over there
This is how much the shoes cost
Ayah, yay, aye! Oh my goodness
And they're...
It's the only shoes I had on. I wasn't planning on helping anybody.
Well, and you didn't think like, you're like in the ice and snow.
I was out there just to help.
Wait, what's the original color of that shoe?
That's what heroes do.
You know what?
It wasn't about me.
I don't think.
Thank you.
No need to clap.
But if you insist.
If everybody insists,
I'm a good.
Let me put my dream down.
If everybody in set, thank you.
If you're all going to stand up.
If you're all going to stand up, wow.
Wow.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Man, that is.
We're forcing me to get up.
Well, I was comfortable.
We peer pressured her.
I'm glad I remember to take a video, though.
No one would have believed me.
When that video popped out, I'm like, is he sick?
Like, what is that?
I felt like a septic tank blew up on yours.
I got mudded for sure
But the guy got out
And I hope if he was delivering food
He got all his food during time
And everything's good
So that was my night
Wow
Yeah look at us
Night of a hero
I'm not a hero man
Don't call me that
I refuse to be called a hero
Tell me something good
No just another day
Just another day
Let's go over and talk to Brittany
and Virginia Beach
Brittany you're on
Morning studio
Morning
I just wanted to call
give you guys to tell me something good.
All right, give it to us. This weekend,
we're going to come up to Vanderbilt
to my boyfriend's donating bone marrow.
And the way this happened
was he signed up like seven years ago
on the National Registry
and they found somebody that was a possible
match a couple months ago, came and took his
blood, and now we're flying out on Friday.
So seven years ago,
that's how long it took for them to find
like a match?
Yeah, he honestly seen a video
on Reddit that the guy signed
up for it and then
catch his heart in some way.
And he's, yeah.
If you don't mind me asking,
how old is your husband?
He is 37.
37? Okay.
Yeah.
No, you're just saying that because you think you're too old.
No, no.
I asked about it and I heard that I was too old to donate.
You heard.
Yeah, because I think you guys challenged me.
Like, would you do bone marrow?
And I said, yeah, I would try it.
But I was too old for that.
Okay.
Don't hang up, Brittany, okay?
Yeah, I believe you, we talked to the bone marrow and they said you were too old.
As much as I hate to be on your side.
We talk to the bone marrow?
The actual bone marrow.
The bone marrow people.
We talk to them.
B&B.
Hey, I have a question for you.
Is there an appropriate age to donate bone marrow?
Is there too old where you can't donate bone marrow?
So with bone marrow donation, it's more about safety and success.
Most registries have an upper age limit.
Typically, the cutoff is around 55 or 60 years old.
That's not because older folks aren't generous.
It's just that younger donors tend to lead to better outcomes for patients.
if you're under that limit and healthy, you're usually good to go.
Well, Eddie, I mean, good to go, according to her.
Yeah, and so this is a great story, and we love what people call and tell us these stories.
And this is the year of you being serious.
Yeah, I'm dead serious.
Hey, Brittany, so what happens?
You guys come here, he goes into a hospital, what happens?
What do they do to him?
Well, the procedure is only a couple hours.
We don't even be there a couple hours, but they take a needle somewhere close to the spine and his upper back, lower back, sorry.
and they said he'll be in some discomfort in his lower back and hip pain because that's where they put the needle.
But other than that, about two weeks' recovery that they say he'll be back to normal.
Man, they do your lower back, huh?
Like spinal cord area?
That's too much for your life.
No, it just sounds scary.
Brittany, that's really great.
It's crazy to me.
It took seven years.
I know.
And that he's having to fly.
Like it's like.
And they're flying them here.
They'll send them wherever.
They need it so much.
Good word.
Crucial.
You know, that could be the problem.
It takes seven years.
If I said I would donate today, dude, I'd be 60 years old.
No, you wouldn't be 60.
Your math is not math at me now.
I'd be so I'd be old, too old for this.
No, you went 55 to 60 is what it says.
Oh, that's what you're.
And that's seven years probably on the longer end.
Brandy, that's an amazing story.
So here's what I want to do because we have a relationship with Macy's and I want to just hook
you up with something here.
Macy's makes it easy to find something special for every relationship and every budget.
And so you and your husband, I guess he'll kind of be what, in bed during
Valentine's Day still recovering?
Probably.
Probably.
He lined me once watch Super Bowl.
Oh, yeah.
He lined this.
It's like a guy when they get snippy-snip during NCAA tournament.
So I can just lay around and watch sports.
So I'm going to give you a $250 gift card and hopefully you'll treat him to a little something
at Macy's.
Even get him a diamond bracelet.
Oh, that'd be nice.
Yeah, or treat yourself.
Yeah.
So, Brittany, really cool.
Thank you for sharing the story.
Hopefully another listener hears it and is motivated to also go and get tested and maybe
if it's not a listener, it's a show member.
Maybe.
Maybe.
Tell your husband, we said best to health, best of luck, and it's really cool what you're doing.
Please stay on the phone and we're going to get you this gift card, okay?
Okay.
Thank you, guys.
Yeah, I know you didn't call for a gift card, but I had one here.
So if you'll take it, I'll give it to you.
I'm super appreciate it.
Okay.
All right, stand by one second.
Appreciate it.
Valentine's Day will be here before you know what,
and Macy's is the destination for getting everything you need for Valentine's
day from your new look for your date night to the perfect gift for your
Valentine before it's too late.
Experiences like date night are great, but not enough for the
perfect Valentine's Day. Bring a gift for Macy's. Get to your local Macy's. This Valentine's
day or head up Macy's.com. Great story. Hope you feel a little poke there, Eddie. Gosh, that's amazing.
That is amazing. Right? Yeah. That's so cool. Yeah. Hope you feel a little poke there, Eddie.
Like I felt that. Like, hey, don't forget. If you want to make a difference, you can.
Pongu, what's wrong? No, no, she's Pervy Amy. She's turned a new leave.
No, whatever. Are you kidding? Four months ago, Pervy Amy came busting through just like on the biggest
loser at the end. You know when they buzzed through that picture.
Herbie Amy came boom.
Bouncing out.
One of the biggest songs growing up.
That wasn't one of the biggest songs growing up.
Next, too close.
It was not one of the biggest songs growing up.
Okay.
All right.
Thank you to her.
Congratulations to her for the gift card.
But big shout out to her husband.
A woman threw her husband a surprise birthday party at Costco because he loves Costco so much.
That's cool.
So they had at the Costco food court.
So like he went there.
thinking he was just going to shop and then like his friends are there.
Yes, he accidentally ran into his friends in the aisles.
And then they had the party and they all ate pizza.
That's fun.
Yeah, that's dog.
Hot dogs, yeah.
She told people that Costco's one of his favorite places.
It used to be a frequent date night spot.
So somebody was to throw you a birthday party at your favorite store.
What would that store be?
I thought about this.
I'll give you guys a second to think.
I think it would just be in like a good gas station.
Oh, yeah.
That's where I get most of my stuff.
You like that.
Because I don't like to park and walk in for like a thing of milk.
So I just go to the gas station.
I like all the treats at a gas station.
It's the only time I ever want funions or circus peanuts.
That's the only time in my life I ever get that stuff is if I'm on a road trip or redhots.
When do I get those?
Only on a road trip at a gas station.
So like a nice big gas station.
And there are a few of them.
I mean, that's pretty legit.
That does fit you perfectly.
Bucky's come and go.
Any of those that are like good quality.
Yeah.
You?
So.
It's not like a restaurant.
It has to be like a store.
It can be whatever you want.
There are no rules.
You will not get kicked off the show if you give us an answer we don't like.
There's a little like where is there like a little cafe or something?
Like I love shopping at Nordstrom and there's a cafe there.
Okay.
That seems lame.
No, it's your birthday party.
It's your birthday.
I picked a gas station.
I know.
That sounds way more fun.
Like the coffee shop at Nordstrom?
No.
Okay.
Starbucks?
No.
Chick-filet?
Maybe.
solid.
So I guess
now that I've talked myself into it,
I'm going to go Chick-fil-A.
Okay.
So hopefully it's not a year
that my birthday falls on a Sunday.
Oh, they'd be closed.
I can tell you, though,
if we're doing like restaurants,
like Chipotle,
I love Chapole.
Like, everybody can have a good time of Chipotle.
Both of those dining rooms,
though, a little small guys?
Yeah, but we've rented it out.
You guys, you guys treated me extra special
and you rented the whole thing.
And we know hard, yeah.
Yeah, what kind of store, Eddie?
I'm going to go Dick's sporting goods.
Oh, that's a good one.
Because they have a,
How do you eat?
Oh, I'm not worried about.
People can bring the food in.
You can cater.
Yeah, we'll bring the food in.
Oh, I thought, I see if my brain was going, where's their food?
Order a bunch of pizzas.
But, dude, they have golf simulators there.
Oh, fun.
Budding greens, little batting cage, like all kinds of stuff.
Okay.
Great party.
Yeah.
You put on all the clothes.
You can do all the clothes.
Oh, they even have like basketball hoops up.
Oh.
Yeah, that's fun.
That would be cool.
Great party.
Lunchbox.
Well, I mean, Eddie took the crown jewel, so I'll have to come up with something for second place here.
I'll go with trampoline park.
because it's good for kids and it's good for adults.
We're all getting hurt.
If we go to a trampoline park and seven of us go in,
only two of us are coming out with everything still working.
Because it's cool because they have a basketball court that is on a trampoline.
They have dodge ball.
And they just, if you want to jump casually, you can jump on the trampoline.
They have those foam pits?
The foam pits.
Oh, that's so cool.
Oh, no.
And then they have the one where it's like a tower and you go up and you jump onto a big old air like mattress.
That's cool.
That is so fun.
So I'm going trampoline.
I've never done the basketball at a trampoline park.
So cool.
Dude, it's crazy.
How do you not hit your head on the rim?
Oh, this padded.
Yeah.
Some people do hit their heads, but it's really padded.
The rim's padded, so you're not going to break your neck or anything?
Can you dunk?
Oh, yeah.
Oh, dude, we can definitely dunk.
The adults go in and just dominate kids?
Yeah, but it's frowned upon.
Yeah, they usually have referees where the adults have to play and then they sit down and then they have kids playing.
Heck, sometimes they, and it's a basketball court and soccer at the same time, so they have soccer goals.
That feels dangerous.
Yeah.
There are times where there's basketball going on and soccer at the football.
same time and it is awesome.
Soccer feels weird because in soccer you don't need to get up high.
In basketball you can't get up high normally because we can't jump and that allows you
to do that.
Socer, is that fun on a trampoline?
I don't know.
The kids do it.
I've never played this.
The kids like it just because they like soccer, but they have kids dunking over them as
they're trying to shoot a soccer ball.
That's super fun though that she did that at Costco.
I saw once where someone set their husband up at a grocery store and just ran into all
its friends.
Do you guys remember that video I played?
Mm-hmm.
Yeah.
But she did this at Costco and they head on the food court.
So a big shout out to her name's Amy Putnam.
That's fine.
A win is a win.
A win is a win.
I don't care what you're saying.
Yep, that's me, Clifford Taylor the 4th.

You can have like a strong stance.
And then there's your body having its own program.
I'm Dr. Maya Shunker, a cognitive scientist and hosts of the podcast, a slight change of plans, a show about who we are and who we become.
life makes other plans. We share stories and scientific insights to help us all better navigate
these periods of turbulence and transformation. There is one finding that is consistent, and that is
that our resilience rests on our relationships. I wish that I hadn't resisted for so long
the need to change. We have to be willing to live with a kind of uncertainty that none of us
LISICs.
Listen to a slight change of plans on the I-HeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your
podcasts.
On a recent episode of the podcast, Money and Wealth with John Hobriant, I sit down with Tiffany
the budgetista Aliche to talk about what it really takes to take control of your money.
What would that look like in our families if everyone was able to pass on wealth to the people
when they're no longer here?
We break down budgeting, financial discipline, and how to build real wealth, starting with
the mindset shifts too many of us were never, ever taught.
Financial education is not always about like, I'm going to get rich.
That's great.
It's about creating an atmosphere for you to be able to take care of yourself
and leave a strong financial legacy for your family.
If you've ever felt you didn't get the memo on money,
this conversation is for you to hear more.

Hi, everyone. I'm Cheryl Stray, author of Wild and Tiny Beautiful Things.
I'm excited to share that I have a new podcast called Mind Over Mountain.
In each episode, I interview athletes, adventurers, and adrenaline seekers
to discuss the inner landscapes and life experiences that informed and inspired their extraordinary
feats. I also bring a bit of advice into the mix, so we, too,
can better understand how to face our own seemingly insurmountable challenges.
Do you know what I'm going to do?
I'm going to pull out what you already have inside.
We're coming into this world, fighting for our lives.
All I'm going to do is pull out what you already got inside.
We're there to support and celebrate each other.
And that's not like your story versus my story.
You're going to walk up and over that dang mountain.
You're not just going to put your mind over it.
Yep, yep, exactly.
And if I can't walk up and over it, I'm going to go through it.
Listen to Mind Over Mountain every Thursday.
on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
It's time for the good news.
With Amy.
Tell me something good.
So in Northville, New Jersey, there was a basketball game going on,
and a 14-year-old boy that was on the court suddenly fell and went unconscious.
A nurse was in the stands.
She runs down there.
The coach also comes over.
They use their CPR training to trade off doing CPR on him.
They get the defibrillator.
and boom, he comes back to life.
He didn't even realize really what had happened.
So he was like, can I get back in the game?
No, man, you're done.
But he was unconscious.
But they brought him back to life so efficiently that he was ready to play.
What if they brought him back and he was super back to life?
Oh, he's better?
Like they charged him.
Yeah, all of a sudden he had like a three hour period where he could dunk.
Yeah.
You ever been unconscious?
No, no.
Like knocked out, punched, you know, fell, hit your hand, anything?
I wonder if you do know when you woke up what happened.
Because he's like he didn't know what happened.
I wonder if you do go out what you remember before.
You've never been passed out?
No.
Have you?
Like I've been under like anesthesia.
Yeah, I feel like it's different.
But I don't even remember much except them putting the mask on me a couple times.
But even it's true.
Like even when you come out of that stuff, you're like, what just happened?
No, I'm almost like this.
Well, yeah, you're a little groggy.
Did I pee myself?
It's like no time has passed though.
Yeah.
Well, big shot.
out to them for acting quick. Yeah, so the nurse was Joan Bowen and the coach was Mike Schumann.
And if there's nobody around that is super trained and there is one of those machines, Eddie says,
if you go to it, it tells you how to do it. Yeah, there's a voice that says, turn machine on and then hit button now.
But it also detects a heartbeat. Like, so if there is a heartbeat, it says, do not push button. Take,
you know, attachments off. So it tells you, too, if they don't need it. I think I still do it anyway.
I don't know. No. Might be wrong.
here. Okay, good story. That's what it's all about.
That was tell me something good.
We have to try to put you through.
Mike is writing this week's next bit.
Now Bobby's on the mic so you know what this is the Bobby Vaughn store.
We have 90 seconds to figure out all these corny jokes from Amy.
It's time for the investigative morning corny.
The morning corny.
Where do penguins go to vote?
The polls.
Oh, the polls.
The polling poll.
The polls.
England.
South Poles.
The South Pole.
Okay.
What's a bees' favorite musical?
Wax.
Bees wax.
Beehive.
Hamilton.
What's a bee's favorite music?
Stinger.
Honey.
Cats.
Wax.
Phantom of the opera.
Bees wax.
What are some?
Honey.
Oh, a sound of music.
What are musicals?
Like,
La La La Land.
Like, right?
Isn't that a musical?
Oh, so it could be a movie.
Yeah, it could be.
B.
B.
Mary Poppins.
What are famous musical?
What's a B's favorite musical?
A B's favorite musical.
Honey, honey, uh, honey I shrunk the kids.
Is that a musical?
I don't know, maybe.
B's.
Honey.
Alphabet?
Honey.
Dude, I got nothing.
I don't.
I mean, if it had been like favorite B's pop star, I'd say Bionte.
Oh, that's so good.
I know, but it's not.
Oh, yeah, that's good.
Or artist, Sting.
Oh, Sting is good too.
Oh, Bitovin.
Oh, Beethoven.
We're losing track here, guys.
I don't know enough musicals.
Sting.
Wicked.
Sting.
Sting and in the rain.
Yes.
Stop.
Oh, my gosh.
Okay, what eight-letter word has one letter in it?
What eight-letter word has one letter?
A.
One letter in it.
In what a, it's a riddle.
Oh my gosh.
Envelope.
One letter.
Yes.
Oh, letter, a letter.
Got it.
Oh, my God.
What do we get?
That's hard.
What was the answer to the one?
Stinging in the rain.
Stinging in the rain.
I'm stinging.
I got a question.
It's singing in the rain.
I had no idea that was a musical.
That was a soul.
It's old.
It's like 60s or something.
That's actually a good joke.
It's a TV musical.
Singing in the rain?
Yeah.
Gene Kelly.
The dance.
They dance in the hat.
Yeah.
Okay.
We didn't do very good.
But that's fun.
We got a good time there.
All right, let's look at some voicemails.
Number one.
I love Amy so much.
But she spoiled Landman.
I'm in season one.
She just reviewed season two.
And she spoiled something.
I don't even know if I should say
because I don't want anyone else to spoil it.
But when she was talking about the wife,
sorry, Amy.
Bye.
I don't watch Landman.
So I don't know if Amy has spoiled anything.
but thank you for also not saying what it is.
So I'm going to have us not say anything about it
until I investigate this further
because sometimes when talking about
if we spoiled a show,
we then spoil the show accidentally
by talking about if we spoiled the show.
So I'm going to have everybody hold back.
We're going to investigate this.
We're going to send this up to New York.
We've got some officials in the booth.
The review team.
We're going to have them look at it.
But thank you for that call
and thank you for not spoiling.
Okay, number two.
A couple of questions.
One, we need an update on Amy.
who, what coach did she find to be the hottest?
And what's going on with Eddie's chickens?
All righty y'all.
Take care.
Chickens?
Like my smoking chicken?
You haven't bought live chickens, have you?
No, no, that'd be cool.
Kind of raised chickens.
No, don't do that because you don't even do the smoking chickens.
Update.
Not much going on.
However, did you see that there's a whole lawsuit with Costco and chickens?
Yeah, the rotissory lawsuit, but that has nothing to do with you.
It could be.
I can save the day with smoking hot chickens.
No, they're asking if you've done anything about this or if you've just sat back and done nothing.
Done nothing.
Yeah.
Next up.
Hey, Bobby.
This is Kathy.
I'm in Florida.
I'm listening to your podcast.
I'm listening to talk to Amy's son.
And it's so amazing.
You're going to be such a good dad.
Your questions are great and you can relate to him so well.
That's all I wanted to say.
Thanks.
Have a great day.
I appreciate that.
But I think that's more of I'm a child and can talk to a child more so than I'm a dad and will be a great dad.
So, but if you missed it.
Amy's son was on Tuesday's
Part 2 podcast. So you can
go back and hear that. All right, give me one more.
Hey, Bobby, I think you slipped up
and revealed that you're having twins.
I rebound it and it said, if these babies
don't kick, I'll be good.
You said babies, plural.
You're having twins. I hope it's a boy
and a girl.
I have not slipped up.
So I'll say that. I have not slept up
ever one time, even
partially. Now, have I said things
possibly to make the scent go everywhere.
There's a shot of that, but I haven't slipped up.
So I appreciate you listening.
I appreciate you hearing that.
But for the record, I have not slipped up and felt like I needed to correct or got off the
arm and like, oh, I shouldn't have said that.
If I've said anything, it's been with purpose or it's been, you don't really plant
eggs, kind of plant seeds, but it's been possibly Easter eggy.
But I appreciate that.
Hey, don't forget you guys that are listening on the podcast, you can call at any point and leave a voicemail if we're not live.

Bobby Bone Show.
This story comes us from Charlottesville, Virginia.
A 45-year-old man went to Bojangles, got some chicken, and noticed his order was wrong.
And he was upset.
And he told him, guys, I thought.
come here all the time and every
time it seems you mess up my order.
But don't worry, you're never
going to mess it up again because I'm going to blow
this place up when I come back.
And so they were able
to track him down because of his credit card.
Oh yeah, they had him. He didn't pay cash.
Because if you pay cash, you can blow something up.
You could. If you pay cash, they don't care
because they can't track you. If they always
mess up his order, why does he keep going back?
Exactly. I don't know. After two,
I think I'm done. The first part of
his bonehead. All right, there you go.
I'm Lunchbox. That's your Bonehead Story of the Day.
Let's go over and talk to Jacob, who lives in Florida.
Jacob, you're on the show. What's up, man?
Morning, so I'm a podcast listener, and I was a purgling about you was watching YouTube.
And you got it down back, go ahead and have that diaper ready because I did not do that.
And I was changing my son's diaper, and I turned around to go get the clean one.
When I turned back around, he's just peeing right on his face.
And I freaked out, didn't know what to do on my son's mom at the time, which is yelling at me,
get the diaper, get the diaper.
So I just grabbed another diaper, just covered it up.
So there's mess everywhere.
There was pee all in his little crib thing with the changes table on it.
It was bad.
I beg you, those stories are pretty common, meaning the first couple times, first couple months,
there's probably just a lot of disasters that happen.
And I know I was practicing on a doll.
Listeners, you don't have to tell me, that's nothing.
Wait till it's alive.
I hear you.
Well, yeah, no kidding.
I fully hear you.
but if I don't even know how to do it on a doll,
I'm for sure not going to know how to do it on a kicking human.
So everyone's like,
that's nothing, man, that's not real.
Practice on a real baby.
Where am I going to get one of those?
Whose baby am I going to go borrow and change their diaper?
I'm not.
I'm doing the best I can over here.
So, yeah, Jacob, I appreciate that.
I bet you that's happening with a lot of parents.
Listen, I'm swaddling,
I'm diapering.
It's a doll, but it's better than nothing.
and I don't want to do it.
I don't want to borrow anybody's baby in case
if you want to drop one off up here.
Yeah.
I'm good.
All right, Jacob.
Appreciate that, buddy.
Have a great day.
Thank you, too, man.
All right, see you later.
Hey, thanks for hanging out with us on the show.
We appreciate you guys being here.
We'll see you guys tomorrow.
All right, bye, everybody.
