Welcome to Thursday show. Morning studio.
Morning.
What do you want to sell online?
A couch.
And I think that's great.
I think somebody would love to have your couch.
It's very nice.
What's the issue?
Well, my cat has peed on it a couple of times.
And I have cleaned it to the best of my ability.
I just, it's time that it's got to go.
Like the space where it was is a little too crant.
I've decided to put chairs there.
So it's not leaving because of the cat pee.
But I would like to sell it or honestly they'd be doing me a favor if they come and haul it away.
That's not how you sell it.
No, you sell it because it's an awesome couch.
Right, but I could sell it or because of the cat pee, it could be free.
Why are you saying because of the cat pee?
You don't have to say the cat peed on it.
Are you sure?
I feel like I should disclose.
You think this is Carfax?
Yeah.
So like every accident that's happened on the couch needs to be disclosed.
Right.
That would be what?
Are there staying like big?
cat pee stains? No, you can't even tell. Does it smell? No, I feel like I got that out pretty good,
but cats, they pick up on things. So what if the person that buys it has a cat? And then when they
sniff out another cat has peed and then their cat pee's on it, I just feel like it's helpful
information. I understand the moral dilemma. However, by that logic, you would need to disclose
every accident that's ever happened on that couch. Well, the cat pee's the worst thing. I mean,
what if you had a baby at the house and the baby peed on it? And you clean that out. Would you share
that? What if somebody drooled all over and you scrub that out?
Would you share that? My point is, if you get it out, it's not like somebody was murdered on it.
I think that you should probably disclose. Yes.
And just put that on the curve. No one would buy that. I don't think, Kathy, as long as there's not a stain that is very visible, I don't think you have to share that.
So I can actually sell it for money. I think you can sell it. Does anyone think I'm wrong?
No. I think that. Okay. Sorry, I don't know why. It just like, I felt like the listing.
should say,
FYI, there's cat pee.
And then...
Then you will not sell the couch.
You will not sell the couch if you say that.
Okay, but again...
How much do you sell it for?
Again, them coming to pick it up
is doing me a favor
because I'd have to pay to have it hauled off.
And that's terrible in the description.
If you just pick this up,
you're doing me a favor.
That's terrible.
Okay, but also, don't you love the whole
yes, there's cat pee
so this couch is free?
It rhymes.
You start in a business?
You Dr. Seuss?
Okay, so what do you want for the couch?
I mean, I would probably take
it's more of like a little love seat situation.
I'd probably take 100 bucks.
150.
Oh, you're going up.
You just said free.
Now you're going up.
Because it is nice and it's velvet.
I like it.
It's cute.
So this is what I would do.
Listed for 150.
Someone will come to you and say,
well, you do 100 and don't even negotiate back with them.
So you feel better about it.
No, I can't interact with them in person because then I'm going to be like,
there's coffee.
Okay.
No, and don't yell there's caffeine.
I mean, forget the cat.
Damn.
It's not a thing.
The gap is nothing.
Just move on.
Sell it.
But whatever they come back to you with, this can be your way to rectify your moral issue.
Is that they, how about, we take 75?
Yes, I will.
So you're taking their bottom line on for that nice capi.
So they say, take 75 and I'll be, yeah, because there's caffeine.
No, no.
No, no, no.
No, no.
No, no.
No, no.
No, no.
No, no.
No, no.
Yes.
If you whispered even that loud, don't hear it.
Okay, because I called about getting it professionally cleaned.
Again, I cleaned it the best I could, but to even get it.
You spend any more money cleaning it than you are.
It would be $100 to have a
Revejorie clean. And I'm like, wait a second. This is
silly. Morgan. I would say
as a fellow cat owner that yes,
it would be kind to say that a cat peeed
on it just in case.
But I think you can still get money for it. I think
people would put in the effort for
a nice couch that's $100 and
they would clean it. I'd like to have perspective
to that too. I think that y'all are not
Morgan and I are cat owners so we know cat pee is very
distinct and it's like a whole thing.
I'm familiar with cats. You have like I've never seen a cat
cat.
They have any territorial and they will go after something.
Whiskers, I've been there.
I've seen them before.
Listen, listen, your price is already low because of the cat pee.
Right.
They're already getting the cat pee discount.
They just don't know it.
There's no need to tell them again.
It's an A plus couch.
Okay, I didn't think about how, like, Carfax, you mentioned.
Couch facts, I'm going to start that now.
Like that, what do you disclose every accident on or any spill?
Correct.
It's just, I'm with Morgan.
She understands my concern about the.
cat pee because it's such a...
And you're putting it at a cat pee price.
Specific cent.
The cat pee, buy it now price,
is $150, but whatever they negotiate
down to, boom, you'll take it.
Okay. That's the real cat pee price.
Okay. But no need to say cat pee ever again.
Eliminate that from your vocabulary.
You guys, feel free to reach out in our voice online.
I'll keep you posted. And let us know.
87777 Bobby.
Bobby Bone Show.
It's always good to wake up and laugh.
It's a big 98.
Nashville's number one for New Country.
There's a question to be had.
Hello, Bobby Bones.
My daughter had some friends over.
Even though they were only 13 and 14,
I went down to check on them and they were drinking.
They found some previously stashed white claws,
thanks to my older kid,
tucked in the arms of the basement recliners.
She knew I was angry, but I didn't yell.
I was proud of myself.
Now I need help with consequences and following through.
What do you think her punishment should be,
mom of a teenager?
Amy, this is right up in your alley just because you have teenagers.
So do you, Eddie?
so you guys can both fill this one.
Amy, you go first?
Yeah, it's tricky, but I mean, my daughter would definitely be grounded if she did that.
And I don't know what the grounding would look like.
Is it from her phone, certain things on her phone, going out with friends or her car for a little bit?
But there would be a consequence like that.
And follow through is you just got to stick to it.
Is that hard?
The hardest part of punishment sticking to it?
Absolutely.
Because then we've taken away my daughter's car.
multiple times and then you always kind of need her to drive.
That's funny.
So then it becomes you can't drive unless you're doing something that's helpful for us or taking
your brother somewhere, which is like her biggest nightmare is having to tote him around.
So sometimes that's punishment enough.
But I think it's, yeah, she did that behind your back.
She drank something that wasn't her.
She knew she was underage and other friends are there involved.
Like that's the trickiest thing.
So your advice to her would be
You've got to pick a consequence
And stick to it
See it all the way through
Build the timeline
But you need to be specific
About the timeline ahead of time
Don't just be like
We'll see how this goes
And we'll figure it out
Be like this is two weeks
We're sticking to it
Nothing because sometimes
We've done consequences
Without like an end in sight
And they need a goal
To look forward to
To work towards
And then you all have that understanding
Because I think when we've left things loose
That's when we've not been able
To follow through
Eddie?
Yeah, I mean, look, consequence 100%.
This is the best one I can think of.
The phone.
These teenagers, dude, love the phone.
So immediately when you read this, I said I would take the phone away for one month.
And I'm shocked that she didn't yell or get, like, lose it.
I would have lost it if I would have found white claws in the couch.
You would have lost it, like yelling.
I know, but then yelling that.
Oh, no, but guys, the yelling is an act.
Like, if you were just like, I'm very disappointed.
you, they're like, oh, okay, cool, I'm off the hook.
But if you go, what are you doing?
I cannot believe you.
They're just like, oh, dad's really pissed.
That's what you got to do.
That's your communication tactic.
I don't think everybody reacts the same to yelling.
That would have worked for me.
Or yelling at my kids.
Whoever wrote in, though, she said she was proud of herself for not yelling.
Because she probably wanted to.
Right.
Right.
For that act.
So you would have yelled.
You, dude, you yell as loud as you can.
Then you go one month without your phone.
And then that's the first one, right?
And like Amy said, stick with the punishment.
Then if you break this, if you break this ever again,
if I find a white claw anywhere near you,
it's a whole year without your phone.
What?
He's not being, this isn't reasonable.
But he never is.
But he never is.
It's not reasonable.
No, no, no.
Hey, that's up to them.
The punishment is one month, right?
If you want to be stupid again and start drinking at 14, 14 years old,
then it's going to be a year without your phone.
Oh my gosh.
Did you say 14?
Yeah.
Yeah, they're 14.
They're 14, Amy.
I was just picturing 16, which is, you know, but they also, I'm not saying that it makes it any better.
They didn't go and track it down and hide it. They found it. Yeah, that's crazy.
Like the older brother. So it's not that they had this plan and they figured out how to sneak it, buy it, get it. They found it. Again, not that it makes it any better, but it doesn't make it worse.
Yeah, I think this also is a great opportunity. I don't recommend the yelling. I think it's more of an opportunity.
No.
Sign them up.
But to stay calm and then have a conversation about alcohol and the impact it can have on your life, especially at that age and decisions that you make.
Because what I want with my kids as teenagers and what I've developed, my daughter, especially now that she's 18, is she tells me so much more than I ever thought she would.
And I think it's a testament to how her dad and I have tried to be like, hey, you can come to us about alcohol.
You can come to us about parties.
you can call us at any time, like we're not going to overreact because we want to be a safe space
where she doesn't feel like she has to hide certain things and then it becomes this taboo and
then she could be in more danger than if she were to just be honest with us.
Your thoughts on that.
You look straight at me.
Yeah, I think that's probably smarter.
But I just feel like my kids, can I have four boys, they don't take anyone seriously unless they look like they're making a difference in the way they feel.
So like in my case, like when I yell, they're like, oh, crap, dad's serious.
Because if I just talk normal and be like, all right, let's talk about alcohol.
They're just like, this is awesome.
Well, I think you can be firm and serious about it.
I'm not talking about this like passive parenting.
I think you can still be intentional, but create a safe space to where they're not scared to talk to you about something that happened.
Yeah.
So there's not one right answer is what we've learned.
And that's why I wanted you guys both to talk because all kids are communicated to.
and width differently and you know
it's going to work for your kids, the only thing that I would say
is based on what Amy said is whatever
you do, stick by it because
if you start not sticking by the things that you say
you're doing, regardless if it's punishment, if it's
prizes, if it's just what the
expectations are, then the expectations
really aren't real because they expect you're going to give up
anyway. And that's just a general
expectation. So whatever your expectation is for their punishment,
you have to stick to it. The same way
if you promise them something, you've got to give it to them or they'll just
never trust you to actually give them what you say you're giving
them. All right, well, good luck
with that mom. Good luck with that one.
14 yikes. Close it up.
All right, let's play the feud.
Lunchbox is out. Eddie's in. We ask 2,000
Bobby Bone Show listeners.
What's a place you have to be quiet?
Mike roll the dice. Let's see who goes
first. There are 10 answers on the board.
What's a place you have to be quiet?
Dropped it on the floor. It's number nine.
Number nine, one, two, three. Eddie.
Is that me? That's you. Okay.
What's a place you have to be quiet?
I think the number one answer is church.
You got to be quiet at church.
Show me church.
Two.
Oh, it's not the number one.
Not the number one answer.
Two points there.
Then that means that the library has to be number one.
Show me library.
Number one answer.
That is correct.
You have three points?
2,000 Bobby Boneshow listeners were asked.
What's a place you have to be quiet?
Hotel.
Huh?
Hotel, you got to be quiet.
We obviously about my reaction.
You ain't right.
I didn't mean to react like that.
I meant to go to the pan.
I know on.
Hey, dude.
Yeah, I know.
They're never quiet in the hotels I'm in.
Really?
Like after like midnight, you got to be quiet.
Mm-mm.
Okay, Amy.
Oh, the movies.
Show me the movies.
The movie theater is at number three.
That is correct.
Hospital?
That's good.
Give me a little more context.
Not that I'm just wondering.
It's not for the answer.
You said hospital, but.
Yeah.
Context, I was thinking, you just sort of, I don't know when I'm there.
You whisper because, you know,
People's stuff is private.
Like, you want to hear it?
Yeah.
I just feel like people are often quiet because of their illness.
They don't want it to be publicized.
Great point.
Confidentiality.
HIPAA.
HIPAA.
HIPAA.
I don't want to talk about that.
Okay.
Show me.
Hospital.
Number five answer.
Okay.
When a baby sleeping.
I don't know how to say that.
I think you said it exactly as is.
When a baby sleeping.
sleeping.
All right, over to Morgan.
Morgan?
Yeah, I mean, the first thing that come to mind to me,
because I always go and it's always very quiet,
it's a yoga studio.
A yoga studio.
I'm thinking I getting back into yoga a little bit.
I love yoga.
But I only want to do hot yoga.
I do hot yoga every Saturday morning.
You would love it.
He's done it.
I've done it before.
I did some terrible at it.
Show me yoga.
Good one.
Number eight answer.
Wow.
Okay.
That's big.
Okay.
Then, you know, I hang out with the senior living residents at a nursing home.
Buzzard.
Morgan's obvious.
I would think you would have to be louder there.
Yes, because they can't hear you.
Hey, would you like pudding?
It's always very quiet there.
You would think it'd be loud.
Show me Morgan's nursing home.
All right, here we are going to round two.
Points are doubled.
Eddie, you have three points total.
You're in the last place.
Okay, Morgan was so close with nursing home.
I'm going to go one step further in the stage of life.
The cemetery.
Oh, yeah.
That's good.
Cannot talk at the cemetery.
Show me the graveyard.
What is that?
Number nine.
Oh, yes, let's go.
18 points right there for ready.
Yeah, that was good.
What's a place you have to be quiet?
I'm going to read you some of these.
Okay.
At number one, library.
Number two, church.
Number three, movie theater.
Number five, hospital.
Number eight, yoga class, and number nine cemetery.
Eddie?
I don't know how to say this.
So I'll just go with a massage place.
When you say place.
I'm like, I didn't know a parlor.
Like don't talk about this when you leave here.
No, no, no, no.
Just like, you know, like a regular massage place.
Like a spa.
Got it.
Come on.
Hey, a finger quote, spa.
Come on.
Eddie's now on the lead with 21 points.
Amy, round two over to you?
Museum.
Oh, that's good, Amy.
More context, please?
A museum.
I mean, you know, where art is?
Oh, got it.
Finger quote art?
Yeah.
What is art?
A museum.
Number 10 answer was 20 points.
Good job.
Three left.
I don't really know anything else.
It's loud there.
It's loud there.
I don't know.
What's a place you have to be quiet?
I think you have to answer something, then.
I know.
And everything in my head right now is loud.
Give it a rip.
I'm like, airport?
No.
Meditation.
A meditation.
Context?
No.
Morgan.
Oh.
I had the museum one and now I'm struggling.
Okay.
A recording studio.
While other people are recording.
Yeah.
Oh, okay.
A recording studio.
Okay, Eddie.
Round three.
you are in second place with 21 points.
I need this.
You need something here.
You need one.
There are three answers left on the board.
I'm not confident with any of my answers.
I feel like one is for sure, like you have to be quiet here, but I don't think it's on the board.
But I got to go for it.
I'm going to go with the deer blind.
Oh, yeah.
No, it's not on the board.
We asked a lot of our listeners.
Yeah, hunting.
A lot of our listeners hunt.
That makes sense.
Where do you call it a deer blind?
Because we hunted in duck blinds and deer stands.
Oh, well, we had deer blinds, South Texas.
Yeah, Arkansas.
But I've heard of deer stands.
Yeah.
Because that's like wide open, right?
They can see you?
No, you're up in a tree.
Oh, man, we never had that.
Yeah.
Any advantage you can get, you know?
Over the deer.
Show me quiet while hunting.
Amy, you're in the lead.
You don't have an answer by looking at your face.
Well, I have one.
Now she goes dug blinds.
No, because.
I like that would fall under.
Yeah, go ahead.
Hunting.
I guess I would just say, like, during class, like, you're not supposed to be quiet.
School?
Yes, but not, like, in the cafeteria.
Because they're allowed.
During lunch.
So it's not just, like, school.
If you want to me to be specific, it's when a lecture is happening or a teacher's teaching.
Like, I'm picturing in college, a lecture.
You can't talk.
Show me class or school.
I mean, I was never quiet, but yeah.
You know, have 46 points.
Points are tripled this round.
And how many are left?
Two?
There's still two?
There's still two.
Eight down.
Hospice.
Care.
Definitely quiet.
Hospice care.
All right, Morgan, you're in the last place.
You only have eight points.
You've got to get something.
Well, you kind of need the number seven answer or you kicked out the next round.
I'm so mad because I had class or school and I was like, that's loud.
Library Church movie theater.
hospital, school, yoga class, cemetery, museum.
We're looking for places that you have to be quiet.
I'm just really sticking with my hobbies here,
and when you go to a speakeasy, you have to be very quiet.
Buzzard.
That's all I got.
Before we crowned Amy the champion at number four, courtroom.
You guys were so close to number seven.
You danced around it.
Death?
Funeral.
Oh, you got it, but you won. Amy is a winner, 46 points.
A win is a win. A win is a win. I don't care which I'll say it.

It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat.
Just hang in there.
Yeah, it would not be.
Right, it wouldn't be that.
There's a lot of luck.

It's time for the good news.
With producer Eddie.
Brooke Johnson is skateboarding for an awesome cause.
She's actually skateboarding across the country.
She's going from California to Virginia, and she's on her 100th day.
She just passed Nashville.
So she's almost there, and she's doing it for her stepdad.
Her stepdad passed away from a spinal injury, so now she wants to raise money to have some spinal cord research done.
So she's got $11,000 so far.
and she's still trucking on a skateboard.
How old?
Does it say how old she?
Is she a kid?
I saw pictures over.
She looks kind of like in her 20s.
Yeah.
And this is an electric skateboard.
This is an actual skateboard that she's like...
Wait, they have electric skateboards?
Oh, yeah.
Yeah, they cheat.
But she's not cheating.
She's doing this on a real skateboard.
Pretty amazing.
That's pretty cool.
Good job.
Hope.
She raises a bunch of money.
There you go.
That's what it's all about.
That was tell me something good.
A couple of Kansas City just named their newborn daughter,
Kelsey Taylor Grace.
Here they come.
Kelsey Taylor.
Yeah, what do you think?
Kelsey Taylor.
Yeah, what you think? Kelsey Taylor, Grace.
Cute.
It's cute.
I mean, I don't need it.
You think name it after two celebrities?
No, I mean, I feel like people...
Kelsey also.
Kelsey for a first name.
Oh, I know Kelsey's.
No, but Kelsey, a girl for like K-L-C-E,
like the last one that's spelled like Travis and Jason Kelsey.
It's like S-E-Y-Y.
is different.
Okay.
That's a real girl name.
I don't know.
The spelling feels more masculine.
Are you hating on this?
I think you're hating.
I think a little bit.
Kelsey Taylor is it.
I think so.
I think, yeah.
I sound like Mario.
I think I'm so.
Yeah, I mean, I think people name their kids after pop culture things all the time.
But two people that aren't even married.
Come on.
You know a little bit.
You know a little bit.
That's a good point.
You know a little bit.
It's a loserville population one.
What if?
Because the husband probably was like, no, come on.
No, no, no, no. What if the husband is a Chiefs fan and then the wife is a Taylor fan?
Right.
This could have worked out even if Travis and Taylor were never together.
I'm going to tell you right now that would not happen.
Why?
If Travis and Taylor were never together, you think this dude is going to fight for Kelsey?
Was he not a star player?
He still is a star. I'd star tight in, sure.
Okay.
I'd name him Mahomes in.
Yeah, but that's not a cute name.
Mahomes?
First name Mahomes.
Could you imagine a girl being named Mahomes?
Okay, I don't hate it
Come on Bobby, don't hate it
Yeah, don't hate it, dude
I don't hate it enough to think about it
For one second after this segment is over
But I saw it and I started reading it
And my emotion was, okay,
you guys had to go with it
To name your kid
Who's always gonna be,
this is always gonna be what they're talked about
To their kid
That their name is Kelsey Taylor after
I don't feel like you always have to talk about it
You don't think that's always gonna be
What they're talking about to?
No, not always.
Always, like always.
Always.
Listen, my friend Decafrey Capparine
Hanks, who I'm telling you, that's all he gets asked about.
Yeah, well, that's pretty distinct first name, DiCaprio.
The parents wanted a name full of personality, deep meaning with plenty of options for nicknames.
Stop with the deep meaning, but okay.
Guys.
You're right, though, like, they're not even married.
Like, they could break up tomorrow.
But that's okay.
It's like you just celebrate what was.
They can nickname KT, they said.
That's cool.
Kelsey Taylor, K-T.
And they're like, even if the couple breaks up, these names are still strong on their own.
Yep.
And I think Kelsey's fine, K-E-L-S-E-Y for a girl.
I think Kelsey Taylor.
How does he spell it?
K-E-L-C-E at the end.
Yeah, people are going to be like, Kels?
No, everyone knows that last name now.
I think if I were just to see the name as a first name, I'd be like Kels.
Yeah, I wonder why they didn't go with Taylor Kelsey.
Like, I feel like that would make more sense for a girl.
Great point.
Because then she'd be TK.
I can't what's wrong with that.
Oh, that's terrible.
KT is still kind of like Katie.
Oh, good point.
I don't know.
Whatever.
You know it's weird and you're fighting for it,
but you know it's weird.
I don't say it's not wrong,
but it's weird and I wouldn't want a kid
to have to answer those questions their whole life.
Kelsey Taylor,
what are you named after?
Well, there was this romance from a pop star and a tight end.
It was short-lived.
It was just a couple years.
Yeah, but don't you think, like, you could name your kid after something,
like one of your favorite Cubs players?
Like if they had a cool name, you combine.
One, but I didn't name them after like a romance.
I didn't name them Lori Morgan, Tony, or Troy Aitman.
You know what?
That romance didn't last.
So Aitman Morgan, you know, now they have to answer their whole life.
Hey, Akey, what's up?
Why's your name Akeman Morgan?
Well, Lori Morgan dated Troy Aitman for a while back in the day.
You know if that's weird.
I'm not the only one.
that feels this way.
You just want to be nice to them.
And I appreciate that about you.
But you know this is weird.
If one of your friends came to you,
super close.
I would be like, that's cute.
No, you would.
Amy, if I came to you and I was like,
Amy, we're having a daughter
and we're going to name it.
And I think we're going to go with Kelsey Taylor.
And if you were dead serious about it,
why would I laugh at your name?
You would try not to snicker.
You know, you'd give me advice.
You'd think people would know immediately
it's after Taylor Swift and Travis Kelsey?
If they see it written, for sure.
Yeah.
But if you just sexate-
When she's in school and,
15 years, maybe not.
Like, her teacher's not going to be, like, looking at roll call and be like, oh, Travis, or Kelsey Taylor.
Kels?
No, it's Kelsey.
Kelsey.
Like Travis?
Like Jason Kelsey?
Jason.
Okay, well, that was one thing I wanted to talk about.
Next up, this woman says yes to her boyfriend after he proposed 43 times in seven years.
There you go.
Persistence.
43 times.
What happened with the 42 times?
So the first time he popped the question, she,
She said no.
They had only been together six months at the time.
But she went on and turned down 41 more times.
His persistence paid off the 43rd time.
And then they had a destination wedding in Jamaica.
They're finally happily married.
Does it become a bit, though?
And does some of those times you're not really that serious about it?
Hey, we marry me?
No.
Or he's asking every day, right?
Maybe even multiple times a day.
He started an eager popping the question for the first time very early in their relationship.
She quickly turned him down.
Only six months.
He persisted.
He planned elaborate proposals over the course of their seven-year
relationship, bringing a castle in Prague, arranging candle at dinners, a horseback riding
trip.
Each time she said no.
Bro, I'm once and out, maybe twice, if it's way too early, but we're never hitting three.
Like, I can't believe he got past the embarrassment of getting said no to every time.
I wonder if any of these were public.
Right.
You would think odds are, a couple of these would be public.
When he asked her to be his wife the 42nd time, she said, next time you ask, I'm going to say yes.
but just you wait.
So he waited another year.
Luke took her to somewhere in southeast London
and he said this is the center of the world.
You are the center of my world.
I want you to marry me.
The 43rd time was the charm.
Bro.
Like do you have a little talism sheet at home?
She's a mess.
She's a mess and you're needy.
And how expensive was this?
Gosh.
Every time they're going different places.
Horseback,
candle it, renting a castle.
I'm one and out,
possibly a two, again,
if I'm jumping way early.
But there's no way.
Again, we're not getting to,
we're not filling up my hand to proposals.
That's humiliating.
Yeah.
Again, she's a mess and he's a mess.
Crazy attract crazy.
And I think they're made for each other.
She wants to be wanted.
He wants to want somebody.
Yeah.
Center of the world.
They are so normal looking.
They are.
Yep.
She kind of looks like Lisa Loeb,
the actress from the 90s,
kind of glasses.
and he just looks like lunchbox.
Pretty normal.
She must be a nightmare.
43 times say no.
And he must be an idiot or one of the two.
Yeah.
Yeah, that's all.
What's stupid her?
Him and her.
Or naming that kid, Kelsey Taylor.
Oh, him and her.
Him and her.
That's pretty close.
Nah, no, man.
Not even close.
Because I think she could have been doing a bit
for like 20 of them.
Just her, not him?
Yeah.
Well, both.
It's like, hey, you want to marry me this morning?
No.
Okay, count down on the list.
Yeah, yeah, that's true.
You know what I mean?
Mm-hmm.
Okay, it's weird.
Does that to be wrong, but it can be weird.
Right.
Correct?
Correct.
We're, weird.
You can get to it.
Come on, Amy.
I'm up.
I don't know.
Okay, she gives up.
Thank you.
My speech impediment.
Did you do the survey, the company made you grade yourself on?
Oh, yeah.
Yeah, I got, I'm going to be valedictorian.
Oh, I got nervous that maybe I didn't.
That you're calling me out.
I'm like, no, no, no, no, no, I did it.
the company to do it. Okay. Have you done it? Yeah. Again, great grades. I should speak at whatever
graduation we're having. All A's. I got myself the best. I wrote an entire paragraph's about how
great I am. Really? Oh, some of mine, like, I don't remember the scale, but like say it's one to five and five
like some of them like I couldn't get myself a five. Oh, really? I fived up.
Promptly replying to emails. Take home test. I crushed it. I sat there. Scoop is like,
you're the last one to not take it. I didn't even know how to log in. I haven't checked my company email
on like years.
So I think it would like dig.
And I found it.
And if I get some sort of ribbon to wear, it's because I rated the highest by me giving
myself.
Yeah.
So that's where I don't think we're getting any kind of awards on our own ratings.
I thought you were going to see your boss's ratings of you too.
Like you would see them up against each other.
But no, everybody did it.
Yeah, did it.
Kind of weird to do that.
Like, why would they have you rate yourself?
I don't know.
But I did get nervous that some people that have to work directly with me.
Like if I rated myself like not accurately, they'd be like,
right she never ever flies on time.
That'd be fun.
You know?
To challenge to her survey?
Yes.
Anonymously?
Yes.
Yeah, that was kind of a bizarre thing that we had to do.
Another thing, I'm going to ask you in a second, like what you're following along with on the internet right now because I have a few of them.
First off is the Joey Swole controversy.
Are you familiar with Joey Swoll?
No, I don't know who you're talking about.
So he sits in his car, is massive dude, jack dude.
And he always does videos of people who are like doing bad things in gyms.
Like if they're being annoying, they're being.
being rude, they're being mean to old people.
Anybody familiar with Joey Swoll? Yeah, I know who he is.
So he's awesome. Love him.
And so he just got off social media. He's done really amazing things.
But he posted a video after Holkogen died.
And it's a video he had shot however long ago.
And he's dressed up like Hulk Hogan.
This is before he died.
But he's like, I was going to play that Cole Kogan was a wrestling hero of mine.
And rest of peace, Holkogen.
And stupid internet.
Listen, as a wrestler, Hulk Hogan, one of the best ever.
as a person, not a good dude.
Some people can separate art and artist.
And he wasn't going, hey, Hulk Hogan was the greatest guy.
But then people were like, you're a racist.
You're dressed up as Hulk Hogan in the gym.
You're a racist.
And he's like, what is happening now?
In his live stream, he tried to defend that he's not racist.
Let me play you this.
Go ahead.
I've literally done videos against racism.
I bought a black girl, a gym membership that was being discriminated against at a gym.
That he shouldn't have said.
Why do you say that?
I don't.
Well, I'm going to tell you why.
He feels painted into a corner.
I feel uncomfortable.
Yes.
But that's always worse.
I agree.
I waved at a black person.
I know.
I have black friends.
I have black friends.
It's never the way to go.
I feel like he was just in such a place.
He's just saying anything to get it to hit.
Oh, no.
I'd like to start by saying that is not how to respond to that.
He continued.
He dug himself like a little deeper with that one.
And if you watched him,
he thinks like a good dude.
Yeah, but I do not think how he has responded to all this has been great for him.
I think he should have had somebody help him respond because I don't think him dressing up as a
whole golden costume and reposting that.
I don't think that was the reason he should have had to apologize.
No.
Where he got into trouble was him.
First of all, this is my point of this whole thing.
Never apologize.
He didn't do anything wrong.
As soon as you apologize, you're going to give whatever little section of people already hated
you so much bigger of a runway to come in and just attack it.
attack and it's going to feel like the whole world is against you when it's only a slight fraction.
Like, I don't think Hulkgo was a good dude at all as a person.
But I don't think anything wrong with saying literally one of the greatest wrestlers of our life.
And I didn't know him as a person.
And so, yeah, kind of crazy he died.
Because in my childhood, it's like Ryan Sandberg, the baseball player that died.
I didn't know him.
Turns out he's a pretty good dude.
I didn't know him.
But when he died, it made me sad because I knew the ball player version of him.
So I thought people were mean to him in a way that wasn't.
fair to him. He should have never went on and apologized. You can know not to do something again
on the internet without going on and say I did wrong. Now, if you do something real bad and you need
to have a job or something, you may have to apologize. Don't apologize. Or you just want to just move on
life. Because everybody else is going to move on on the internet too. Just move on life. So secondly,
you don't do that what he did. I bought a black girl gym membership. And I've made
anti-racism videos before.
Didn't he say that?
Yeah.
Well, he also doubled down on it a lot further too.
Well, then he went on it.
Then you got to quit social media.
Hey, just don't apologize, is my point.
If you really did nothing wrong and you feel like you did nothing wrong, don't
apologize.
Don't apologize for the sake of you just apologizing.
So some people will then accept you when you don't even care about those people
anyway because they're never going to accept you to begin with.
What about when they say like, oh, why are you being quiet?
Like, why are you not responding?
They're not.
They move on.
Everybody moves on one life.
I don't think he needs to be canceled.
but now after he said that stuff, he needs to take a whole break for a second.
Which he did, right?
Like when I'm saying...
Yeah, he said he's out.
He said he's out for a little bit, but nobody's ever fully out.
No, he has quit social media entirely.
He'll be back.
It's Zach Brown's birthday.
How old do you think he is?
Oh.
It's kind of ageless to me.
Like, I would guess 70 and also 30.
Oh, I'm not 70.
No, I would not say I don't know how old he is.
I mean, I'm looking at it here, but because he's got all the tattoos and like, sometimes he gets in super
thin shape, but then he gets really buff shit.
and like he's got good hair
but then he's been around
a while.
Oh, I don't know what his hair's like.
You can convince me of anything
his age.
Okay.
52.
47.
Ouch.
Lower off.
Oh, wow.
I mean, that's older than I thought.
I thought like 42.
Oh, you thought younger.
Yeah.
Bobby said between 30 and 70.
It's a 70, dude.
I'm like, I don't know about that.
I kicked the middle.
I kind of hug Amy out to dry there.
Grammy winning singer and songwriter.
What do you think is number one
most stream song is.
This is easy.
It is?
Yeah, Eddie?
Chicken fry.
Oh, that's the most stream.
Like, but what about, I love that one about the highway.
Okay, that's great.
What you love, I'm telling you the number one most stream song.
Okay.
This is birthday, and I've sat with Zach a bunch, and so I have some clips of some stuff
that I've learned about Zach, and he takes extreme pride in his songwriting, and he's
a very perfectionist, very much perfectionist, and here he is going after some people
for writing lazy songs.
But I hear songs on the radio all the time, and I'm like, they're just making that shit rhyme.
Like if you care about every line of the song, if a song is your baby, it's like the, to me,
songwriting is like the last like real American form of poetry.
So for me, the chase of a song is like, I never love a song more than right when we finish writing it because you kind of forget what you did.
You listen back to it and you're like, oh yeah, there it is.
But I have a really good radar with if that line's not good enough, the song's not done yet.
Next up, he got to start playing at small bars with no one watching.
He was performing chicken fried for years before he ever recorded it.
Like I was playing chicken pride in bars for years before we put it on an album.
But I knew after playing that in front of 300 people a night on a Wednesday in a sports bar that it would work.
I could tell by the reaction of what the people are doing.
So they were the litmus test of like what's working and what's not.
So six nights a week for 10 years, bro, just grinding my ass off, sleeping against the window of a truck.
You know, hired a dude to drive me and pull my covered trailer around with our PA system and doing that.
So I didn't know how other people did it.
I didn't know there were rules or how it works or anything like that.
Here's Zach Brown talking about spearfishing and why it's peaceful to him.
For me, it's one of the activities.
When I'm doing that, when I'm diving down, there's no chatter.
Chatter doesn't exist.
So you're only in that moment and it's so primal and you're so just connected to the ocean and nothing else.
And you feel small in the greatest possible way.
You're challenging your breath.
You're challenging the ocean.
You're challenging the fish.
You're challenging the weather.
It's like, it's this whole thing.
Amy is such a hater.
Look at her. She's like shaking her head, no.
What is it, Amy?
You're challenging the ocean.
I don't know.
I just, I don't know.
I can't, I don't know.
I just.
Say what you want to say?
I don't know how I feel right now.
I mean, you can't believe everything you see,
but I just am sort of like,
if they're going to, I wish we could know more.
About?
Because some listeners may not know what you're talking about.
The stuff that's going on with his ex-wife and why she feels silenced.
Like, she should be able to speak.
and he kept the dog?
Like he kept the dog.
Is that part of the birthday second here?
No, but he wanted her, allegedly,
he wanted her to sign a marital NDA,
and she refused.
So then you wouldn't give her the dog.
And like, it was her dog too.
She named it.
She said she raised it.
And then she shouldn't get to keep the dog
simply because she wouldn't sign the marital NDA.
And then why do you want someone to sign an NDA?
What do you have to hide?
You know?
Happy birthday, Zach.
And then she has all these legal fees.
Yeah.
He gets one hour of exercise a day because Bruce Springsteen told him to.
Even Springsteen.
I remember the time I talked to him, I was like, tell me something that's the most important
thing that you can tell me for my career.
And his reply was, you need to sweat every day for an hour.
I don't care what you do.
Just go find a place, walk, run, work out, whatever it is, sweat for an hour a day.
And after he told me that, I was like, all right, he's a boss.
I'm going to do that.
What a flex.
Anything else?
It's just because he called him Springsteen, too, like out of nowhere.
He's like, you guys have dinner last night with Trump and Obama, and we were just, like, like, just says it.
No problem.
He moves on.
Number one thing we learned about Zach Brown from me interviewing him.
He sleeps with a pee bottle by his bed.
I use a pee bottle through the night because I got used to doing that when I'm touring because you're riding.
You know, we played three, four shows in a row.
So I'm sleeping on my bus.
The bus is going down the road.
During that day, for my voice, I drank two gallons of water.
So through the night, I'm going to pee like two or three times.
So I have to get my pee bottle right by the bed.
So you don't have to get it.
And you pee in it. Yeah, if you get up on a moving bus, and I have an overactive brain anyway,
you get up, you stub your toe, you bash your head in the wall, you're awake, and then it throws you off.
So for people that have to do that, they make nice big ones with lids, so it's not, doesn't stink,
it doesn't spill. It's like, you know the deal.
Okay, interesting. I mean, if that's what's like sharing a bed with him,
imagine what's in the stuff that can't be talked about, because he's outing himself about that.
Can you imagine the first time, you know, you're like, you know, and he just like rolls over with his pay bottle.
I feel like Amy's going to testify for the defendant in that divorce case.
Which who knows?
I don't even know her.
Anytime I've interviewed Zach wherever, like he's always been really nice.
Like, I don't know.
And I like Kendra.
I'm happy for their engagement.
I guess I just went down that rabbit hole with the ex-wife.
And it seems, I feel bad for her.
But who knows the truth?
Wise words.
Wise words.
Crazy attract crazy.
Right.
They were probably perfect for each other when they were together.
Yeah.
And I know that everybody has.
their side to the story.
There are two sides.
I just wish she could save hers.
Except they're actually three.
She has one, he has one,
and then there's one that actually happened,
but we can't really hear hers because it's,
yeah.
You know?
Happy birthday, Zach.
Zach Brown.
Happy birthday.
47 years old.
A win is a win.
A win is a win.
I don't care which I'm saying.
Yep, that's me.
Clever Taylor the 4th.

There's two golden rules that any man should live by.
Rule one, never mess with a country girl.
You play stupid games, you get stupid prizes.
And rule two, never mess with her friends either.
We always say that trust your girlfriends.
I'm Anna Sinfield, and in this new season of the girlfriends,

My next guest, you know from Step Brothers Anchorman,
Saturday Night Live and the Big Money Players Network.
It's Will Farrell.
My dad gave me the best advice ever.
I went and had lunch with them one day.
And I was like, and dad, I think I want to really give this a shot.
I don't know what that means, but I just know the groundlings.
I'm working my way up through, and I know it's a place that come look for up and coming talent.
He said, if it was based solely on talent, I wouldn't worry about you, which is really sweet.
Yeah.
He goes, but there's so much luck involved.
And he's like, just give it a shot.
He goes, but if you ever reach a point where you're banging your hands.
head against the wall and it doesn't feel fun anymore, it's okay to quit.
If you saw it written down, it would not be an inspiration.
It would not be on a calendar of, you know, the cat.
Just hang in there.
Yeah, it would not be.
Right, it wouldn't be that.
There's a lot of luck.

With Bobby.
Tell me something good.
Dalton Demichelli, an 8-year-old Arizona Diamondback Superfan,
had an awesome night on Chase Field after he got to meet and spend time with some players.
It was organized by the team and the staff at KPNX12 News in Phoenix.
And they talked about how he had multiple procedures for a heart defect.
And I do have some audio here.
He got to meet his favorite player who's Corbyn Carroll.
The team heard about him when the TikTok went viral.
And so here you go.
Here's a clip of Dalton's mom, Krista, and Corbyn Carroll talking about the day.
He spent quality time with these guys.
Just to be able to do something special for him, it met a lot.
It was a great reminder of the kind of power that we can have as athletes and the lives that we can touch.
Dalton's had multiple surgeries, was born with a congenital heart defect, has had three open heart surgeries.
Again, he's eight years old.
Oh, wow.
Man, imagine your kid going through all of that.
That's crazy.
A big shout out to Corby and the Diamond Vax and the family
and that news station for making it happen.
That is what it's all about.
That was Tell Me Something Good.
When you turn the radio on and the dial just keeps on turn.
Fox more game two.
Steve Redavitt's trying to put you through.
Mike D's writing this week's next bit.
Now Bobby's on the mic so you know what this is.
This is the Bobby Vaugham.
We have 90 seconds to get as many jokes right as possible. Amy, you ready?
Mm-hmm.
All right. Investigative, corny, let's go.
The morning corny.
What kind of cheese is the most introverted?
Provalon.
Provalon.
Oh, good.
How'd you get that so quick?
My mom.
Okay. Why do they do yoga at the morgue?
Dead. People are stretching.
Morg. Yoga.
Dead dog. What are some of the yoga poses?
Downward dog.
Calfa.
They're good at Savasna.
Downward?
The morgue?
Downward dog?
No.
I know like three.
I know Savasna.
Say it again, Amy.
Why do they do yoga at the morgue?
I don't know enough about yoga.
I don't know much about the morgue.
Is there a dead man's pose?
Dead man.
Floating.
They're close to the ground.
Under the ground.
Lay down.
We say it again.
Why did they do yoga at the morgue?
Is this a bad joke?
Are you reading it again?
You made me feel less than.
Because you judged us with that giggle.
Oh, it's just so simple.
Yeah, like it shouldn't be that.
Yeah, like you guys are so stupid.
They're good at lying down.
Why did they do yoga at the morgue?
Now, you know, Savasana is considered dead man's pose.
Okay, so they're doing the dead man's pose.
That's not a hint, though.
Oh.
Why do they do yoga at the, okay, why do you do yoga?
to relax to stretch stretch yeah because you're tight clear your mind they're tight they're stiff they're
about to die yeah because all the stiffs okay oh okay we'll take it good job dude I don't know that
actually got it go ahead that's at the time oh we got two that's pretty good yeah that's tough
though we don't really know anything about yoga and we had such a strong start again that's okay
we should have got that no we should have got that I didn't think y'all were gonna get provolone out of
the gate so I don't know that I would have got that imagine my surprise when that happened and so I thought
Well, surely, who knows, maybe someone will just be like, because of all the stiffs.
But you all aren't.
No.
Then she judges with the question.
She's like, yoga.
In the morgue.
All right, hit it.
Clear eyes, fool hearts can't lose.
By the way, Morgan sat down with Runaway June as part of her impossible interview series.
Here's a little bit of Runaway June, buy my own drinks.
And she asked them if they could change anything from the past 10 years.
What would that be?
And Jennifer Wayne stepped up and said this.
I don't want to change.
anything because I have my daughter who's
three years old but I always thought
if I got pregnant I would lose
my record deal and I couldn't do this job
anymore so I waited a long time
and I had her really late in life
I would probably consider having kids
earlier but then I wouldn't have her so I can't change it
I know I would also change her dad but I can't change that either
because she's here because of him so
that's funny
unfortunately no
that's a good answer
yeah she would change her dad
Yeah. That's really funny.

Story up the day.
This story comes with us from Brooksville, Florida.
around 8.30 a.m. Police get a call. 9-1-1. What's your emergency?
I'd like to report a guy driving on the highway on his lawnmower, swerving all over the place.
Like, are you sure it's a guy on the lawnmower? Yeah, police responded.
Guy was on his riding lawnmower on the highway. He said, I was partying.
Needed to get home. And I didn't want to drink and drive.
Yeah, what people don't realize is you're still driving.
Yeah, you need motorized thing.
George Jones-like. He wanted to get the liquor store.
How fast does rabbit go on one of those things?
Five miles per hour?
Probably.
Five to seven if you put in a rabbit, yeah.
Turtle, two.
So slow.
All right.
I'm Lunchbox.
That's your bonehead story of the day.
Report fresh from the CDC has revealed that a pizza joint accidentally laced, and they say pies, but some people call pies pizza.
Pizza pie.
Yeah, I don't know if it's a real pie or a pizza.
I assume it's a pizza, but they laced it with THC oil.
Yeah, famous Yeti's pizza in Stone, Wisconsin was forced to apologize after 85 customers experienced symptoms consistent with THC intoxication after eating.
85, so that means that they made a whole batch.
Or multiple.
I'm going to assume it's pizzas.
Yeah.
Right?
Yeah.
Yeah, it's got to be pizza pies.
You ever call it a pie, though?
Because where we're from, it's not really a pie.
No, but I mean, I think in the pizza places, they're like, oh, this is a...
Let me die.
Mario.
I love it when people call it a pie.
Luigi.
You do?
Oh, it's so cool.
Cool, I don't call it that, but it's cool to hear people say that.
I hate thick crust pizza.
Like deep dish?
Yeah, dude, like pan pizza.
Let me rephrase.
Compared to thin crust, I hate it.
Compared to nothing, I like it.
Yes.
That's a good way of putting it.
Yes.
But if it's the two super thin, this is how you can tell I didn't grow up around real pizza pie.
Is that I love thin crust pizza hot pizza.
Yeah, or just thin crust, super thin crust, anything.
Because I don't want to get full off all that bread.
Yeah.
Because then you can't eat as many pieces of pizza.
And I love to eat my pie.
Who doesn't?
Anyway, a bunch of people apparently got high or sick.
A customer's ranging from one to 91 years old.
Yeah, that's the kids.
Oh, yeah, that's where the problem, because I'm like, well, you know, improved mood.
Feeling good after a pie.
How do you know a one-year-old feels weird, though?
What do you mean?
They can't talk to you.
But they're feeling it.
You know they're feeling it.
You can see maybe if they're acting like really relaxed.
About a thing.
Because every little thing.
Baby, how did you learn that song?
they were experiencing dizziness, sleepiness, anxiety, seven.
People had to be taken to the hospital.
How about the 91 year old?
Like, just chill.
You're 91.
It all happened in late October of last year, but this is just now becoming a story.
The CDC put it out.
And they have issued a Facebook post and apologized.
Yeah, that's tough.
Also, did someone not realize their THC oil was gone?
Like, I would think that would be valuable.
Or did they do it on purpose?
Or did they do it?
Oh, I don't think they did it on purpose.
You don't think so?
No, that's good stuff.
Why would you waste that to people who don't?
I was thinking that too.
Like, that would be a huge waste.
Yeah, and like, what kind of bottle is it in?
Because I'm sure the bottle doesn't look like the olive oil or whatever they were trying to put on there.
Yeah, I feel like it'd be like a smiley face emoji, but the eyes are slain.
Like, hey.
Yeah, I feel like somebody's upset that their THC oil got used.
And then they were like, oh, no.
Now I can't even say anything about it because I wasn't supposed to have it up here at work anyway.
Because that's, they'd probably get in trouble.
Yeah.
Atlanta, police say they cannot.
process citations for driverless cars.
So all the Waymoes get away with traffic laws, violating traffic laws.
Well, yeah, I mean, what are they going to do if they get a...
Well, you can ticket the controller, right?
I don't know, who do you ticket?
The company?
Yeah.
Yeah.
But you just send bills to the company?
And then what if they don't pay, though?
You can't really put a warrant out for their arrest.
Well, you can say you can't have your cars on the road.
You think they're going to do that when they're paying a bunch of taxes into a city?
I mean, no...
They're not.
Those people are paying pretty...
We can't be lawless around this.
No, I know, but there's got to be some, something.
Like, there's got to be like a local person.
Like, this was at a good precedent.
Like somebody local they can go to to get paid or they start finding the city version of it more.
But that's kind of funny that you really can't pull one over and give them a ticket.
No, it's not going to pull over.
Put your hands on the wheel.
Wait, what the heck?
No one's there.
There's nobody in there.
We're done with the show.
Thank you guys for listening.
And we will see you guys tomorrow.
Goodbye, everybody.
