Dead to recall 1.5 million bags of shredded cheese because there was a possible metal contamination. This is like the worst on both ends. If I were to eat this bag of cheese,
Starting point is 00:03:15 first of all, it'd kill me. Yeah. Second of all, it'd be metal in my lactose. That would kill you too. Double kill. I already eat this bag of cheese. I'd be double killed. The FDA has issued a recall for over one million bags of shredded cheese due to a potential metal fractals. fragment contamination. The cheese manufactured by Great Lakes Cheese Company was distributed in 31 states, including Tennessee and Kentucky. The recall is classified as class two, indicating a risk of temporary or reversible health issues. Consumers are advised to check their cheese products for potential contamination. This is from the Today Show. Now, a couple things. One, anybody in this room, if you use cheese and it's shredded, don't you always look at it? There's no shredded cheese you
Starting point is 00:03:53 don't ever look at. What do you mean look at it? How much do I have to look at it? Well, you just dump it in. And you'll probably see metal. It's like when you poop, you always look back. Interesting. It's like when you do your shredded cheese, you either do it with your hands like this, you shred it, you drop the shreds, or you dump it in. There's really no shredded cheese and I love cheese. I just haven't been able to eat it. It's my favorite. My life has been incomplete since I've been not having it. With shredded cheese, not block cheese, because you can't see in the middle of a black cheese. With shredded cheese, it's shredded so it's dispersed at a level that you should see the metal. I assumed that the metal. I assumed that the
Starting point is 00:04:27 is so small that you wouldn't be able to see it. Exactly. Like shredded metal. You know what I mean? Where it kind of looks like a piece of pepper. Okay, then if it is able to be seen, don't you think you would see it for the most part because we look in our cheese? 100%.
Starting point is 00:04:39 If there was like a wire in there, I'd be like, yep, that's not supposed to be in there. Yeah, I was thinking like a whole screw or like a lug nut in a bag of cheese. Yeah, that sucks. And it sucks for the company. And probably there was some sort of manufacturer with the equipment, right? Isn't that what we think? What I always think when I see these is like the meeting that goes down of like, Like, a boss.
Starting point is 00:04:59 Yeah. So what happened was, I had a screwdriver that fell on the cheese and it got shredded. We never saw it. What do we do? And the boss is like, I think we can't throw away 100,000 bags of cheese. Are you sure you drop the screws? I'm not sure. Right.
Starting point is 00:05:16 I just know I haven't seen it in the past few hours. My mind always goes there when I see these recalls. Yeah. In my mind, when I saw the story, I thought it's probably a. a piece of equipment on a machine that broke inside the cheese and they didn't know it until it was too late and they're like oh there's like a panel gone on one of our machines it's aluminum on the outside crap crap yeah so we got to do a recall um the crazy thing about this recall though is that the I mean these are some major brands like the stores that they're in are like major stores usually I don't
Starting point is 00:05:49 know why I feel like I'm gonna great lakes cheese company no no you're with that that's the brand of company I'm not that they're the manufacturer of the cheese oh but it's packed in like in a Target brand, Walmart brand, a Publix brand, all those. Oh, great value. Oh yeah, I guess my confusion is what's the difference in manufacturing and then? They're the ones that actually make the cheese. They make it and they put in all the different bags. So all these bags of different brands are the same exact cheese?
Starting point is 00:06:13 Probably. Yeah. Some just have metal. Yeah. And that's a big one, man. Like, gosh, yeah, that's a big one. I'm looking at all. So you're telling me, H.E.B. Shredded 8 ounces is the same thing as great value.
Starting point is 00:06:27 Shred it's six ounce. Like it comes from the same place. Yeah. Yeah. And they just buy it from that place and then repackaging. I wonder if in some of the places that are they're using better cheese. Yeah, some do. Like in that same manufacturing place.
Starting point is 00:06:41 I don't think that like a cheese company like Kraft uses that cheese because they have their own cheese makers, right? My final cheese question here is. And I'm not a cheese expert. Do we think all of these cheeses are the same exact cheese just packed into different brands? Yes. Do you think so, Mike? Maybe not the exact same, but they have. have like different tiers that all come from the same place.
Starting point is 00:07:01 So they could buy like a different, they could buy the more expensive one from them, but it's all coming from them. Like I've been working on seasonings, right? For like 20 years. For 20 years. And if I pick a place that makes seasonings and I package my own seasoning from that place, that place also supplies many, many other seasoning places. But all these places have been affected by this metal.
Starting point is 00:07:22 Yeah. So meaning all the cheese came from that one place. Great, great lakes. They know what brand came from a broken machine, though? It was something in the shipping, so something in the container led off like metal fragments, so it could have been in all these different shipments. Oh, yeah, man, that's a mess. That sucks.
Starting point is 00:07:37 This reminds me also. I don't know if you guys have been seeing it, but that they say Cisco is the one who gives all the food to all the restaurants. The thong song? No, no, it's different. It's a food company. Yeah. And it's like a joke that it just depends.
Starting point is 00:07:51 Like, a restaurant is better if they know how to cook the Cisco food better because all restaurants use this same supplier of food. Yeah, but that's just like, that's like they supply the bell peppers. Like, you can cook bell peppers a hundred different ways. I saw the guy like testing out mozzarella sticks from different restaurants across the country. He's like, these are the exact same ones. Because it's all the same food. It's just how the restaurant prepares them and what they do after they get.
Starting point is 00:08:13 If they add anything else to it or just how well they deep fry it. That's interesting. Okay, let's go around the room. Amy's not here. She hasn't been here all day. Lunchbox, you're up. Yeah, back in 2018, I think there was a guy. he had this TV show idea.
Starting point is 00:08:26 And he started getting bids, Netflix, Hulu, they all wanted him. And he ended out going with Netflix and getting like $41 million from them to shoot this series. He never shot it. They never shot it. He just took the money and ran. Took the money. He started buying luxury cars and trying to do stock market stuff. And he lost.
Starting point is 00:08:50 And then they wired him another. He's like, it's coming along. Just give me 11 million more. and they gave another $11 million. I mean, in for a penny and for a pound. I get it. Was this his first project? No, he had had something else.
Starting point is 00:09:03 I'm trying to find the name of it. But he just started his trial this week. That's why he had a history of actually making something. Okay. And they said all these people were bidding on him. So it was obviously a great concept. And now he's facing wire fraud and all this stuff and facing many years in prison. That's crazy.
Starting point is 00:09:21 He just decided to take the money and go buy stuff. Yeah, he can't do that. And then probably I'll ask for 11 more and I can really make it for 11. I mean, he thought he was probably going to get all his money back. There was no production at all, like zero production. Keanu Reeves was one of the early backers in this movie or in the series. And they never shot anything. He said they were shooting it, but they have nothing.
Starting point is 00:09:39 There's never been one episode shown. Like, they don't have one episode. There was another story. I thought this is what you were going to do, but it was an Apple show. And you may look up the details of this, Mike. But they shot the whole thing. and it was a fully created show and the person who wrote it
Starting point is 00:09:57 plagiarized it from another book I think it was called like the And in that case you have to like scrap it The hunt or the heist? Yeah the hunt You can't put that out because it's all plagiarized It's not yours Yeah Yeah well this guy bought five rolls Royces one Ferrari
Starting point is 00:10:15 And two handcrafted Swedish mattresses That cost $638,000 You like the good stuff? The mattresses cost $600,000. $300,000 each. Those must be really nice mattresses. I better lay down on fall asleep immediately. That'll be like a chamber.
Starting point is 00:10:32 This other stories, Apple TV pulled a show off its platform and scrubbed it from the internet days before its premiere after plagiarism accusations. The French thriller Tuiquez, which is the hunt in English, was scheduled to be released globally on December 3rd, so it would have been released yesterday. The French journalist Clement Garan was the... the first to respond and to report that the miniseries are being withheld, the allegations involve a similarity to the 1976 film of a movie of a book. And so apparently, they just ripped it.
Starting point is 00:11:05 Was it like right, like directly? What I heard about the show was, because it sounded interesting, like, guy goes, kill somebody, somebody kills somebody, and then he always feels like he's being hunted by like the group. I don't know, it's something like that. The hunt. Hence the hunt. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:20 And so. the miniseries show, which was set to be six episodes, follows the main character, played, they go hunting on the weekends together. One day they encounter another hunting group who targets them. And self-defense, his group injures one of the attackers. Paranoia sets in as they feel hunted now by the vengeful enemies. Pretty good premise. Yeah, because it's already been done. Yep.
Starting point is 00:11:43 Successfully. It worked the first time. And I guess there's probably not a way to fact check everything that exists. Well, no, but I mean, as the plagiarizer, you have to, you have to, you have to, kind of be freaking out a little bit the bigger it gets. Like maybe... They're selling it. I don't think you're freaking out. You're selling it. Apple. Right, I know. And then once it becomes real, you're like, they're going to find out.
Starting point is 00:12:01 Like, this is exactly like that other... You don't sell it. You don't do it. Yeah. It's crazy. Do you think it's a chance that they didn't, like, they think they thought of the idea? It can't be that close, right? I think it was so extremely on the nose as to what the book was. And then the book was made into a movie from what I've heard about the story is that they were just like, we can't do this. Because I'm sure that happens where like an idea is close to another one. And then you're like, it's coincidence.
Starting point is 00:12:26 Like it's an idea. Like this, I've not heard this idea. But no. Yeah. And like the Lion King is supposedly one of those that stole the movie. You ever heard that? I think it's like Hamlet or something? Something.
Starting point is 00:12:37 Lion King and Hamlet? No, it's not. No, no, no. It's like a Japanese book. I can ask my assistant. Because again, I'm just going from the dome here. Hey, what's the story of the alleged plagiarism of the line? Lion King from what I think is an old Japanese novel, or at least the rumors of that plagiarism?
Starting point is 00:13:05 Absolutely. Go ahead, please. Sure thing. So the story goes that there's a longstanding rumor that Disney's the Lion King was heavily inspired by a 1960s Japanese anime series called Kimba the White Lion. Basically, Kimba was a show created by Osamu Tezuka, who's often called the godfather of manga. So yeah, it's that. So you can be inspired by something, but then do you?
Starting point is 00:13:32 You have to tell them like, hey, we're making this movie. It's inspired by your movie. No, because then they want to be part of the creator. Or they go, you can't. You just do it. But you can be inspired, but you can't take it. Then it's up to a court to determine if you actually took it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:47 Or if you were just inspired by it, or it just happens to be similar. And that's where damages come in. Yeah. I worked with a guy that got fired because of plagiarism. It's tough. News? News, yeah. How do you plagiarize a news story?
Starting point is 00:14:01 He was just taking other news stories. putting it on our website. Wait, wait, from other, other networks? Dang, baller. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:06 No, it's not baller. Not baller at all. Baller. Morgan. Okay, so there was a DoorDash driver who showed up to this person's house. He had some wings,
Starting point is 00:14:19 some pizza, and caught on the camera. He drops the chicken wing out of the bag. It's on concrete. You see all the soft splatter everywhere. He grabs the wing, put it back in the box.
Starting point is 00:14:31 Oh. Put it back in. and then sets the thing there, walks away, and on the camera, you see him licking his fingers. No, you can't do that. Baller. No, not baller. There are too many cameras. We've hit the point that we have too many cameras.
Starting point is 00:14:46 Yeah, that's gross. The licking the fingers, though, I mean, what else are you going to do? You got sauce all right. You don't want to wipe on your pants. I got more deliveries to make. Well, even, too, you see him trying to kick the extra sauce off of the concrete to, like, prove that something happened. So everything was that. Not poor guy.
Starting point is 00:15:00 No, he's not the victim. Well, he accidentally dropped. But you don't put it back in. I get it because you got a next delivery. You don't want to lose the money on it. What do you do? You tell them like, all right, so I dropped the chicken finger. I think the chicken finger, you just take it with you.
Starting point is 00:15:13 Okay. And just there. Oh, and so they open it up and like, it said it was six. Do you know how many times I've gotten food that is limited as to what it was supposed to be? And I'm like, man, the restaurant must have screwed up or it's the driver. Yeah, I guess so. You might have lost a few chicken wings. That's funny.
Starting point is 00:15:29 And why do you go look at that? the ring, the door? Yeah. If you're a homeowner, why would you, unless you're wondering, because I just would think it would, if the person was going to eat it, I would think they would eat it in the car.
Starting point is 00:15:42 I guess maybe because it gives you a notification when somebody shows up, so maybe you just click it. So you watch it live, maybe? And it records. At least that's how mine works, is if a notification comes through, it records like a minute of it. So it must have got the notification,
Starting point is 00:15:56 they click into it, see it, and see what's happening. And then they downloaded it. They see them picking up a chicken wing. Or maybe they go out and they see the sauce on the porch because you try to kick some of the sauce away. That's true too. Yeah. Why is their chicken wing sauce on the porch?
Starting point is 00:16:09 Check the camera. And they go back and see why a chicken wing would be on our porch and they see that it fell right there and they got put it. And he didn't tell them. He didn't write on the app that it happens. I wouldn't have either. I mean, once that happens, I think you just take the wing or the two wings. You put them in your pocket and you go home. And you don't tell them all.
Starting point is 00:16:26 You don't say anything. Yeah. Eddie? All right. So Mad Men, the show was re-released on Max. Yeah, 4K. 4K, which they didn't think that certain things would be exposed in 4K, which is awesome that people are just finding different things that they can see.
Starting point is 00:16:42 And one was a throw-up scene where somebody in the scene throws up and you can see the guy running the throw-up machine in the background. He's hitting the button. He's in the camera. There's another one where girls walk in through New York City, but on the signs, it has like an L.A. number. And it says like L.A. is best food. Yeah, the funniest thing to me is that they didn't like rewatch it back before they loaded it up because I've seen this.
Starting point is 00:17:04 And, you know, in some movies, and I never see it live. I only see clips of movies where you see the boom mic come down. Yes. I never actually catch it during a movie, but I will be told, hey, look at this. This happens in the movie. And if I watched the movie back, I can then see it because I'm looking for it. Well, I saw the story about Mad Men. And so it had the clip and I looked at him.
Starting point is 00:17:21 Oh, no, you see the people, the camera guys on the side. Never saw him the first time. And then they had to do a little highlight thing. I'm like, oh, there he is. Because, yeah, I'm like you, I would have never seen that. Yeah, I'm surprised they didn't catch that. Might you see this at all? Yeah, it's because they had to go back in and restore all the footage,
Starting point is 00:17:35 and they were supposed to make those same, like, technical changes when they restored the footage, but they did it. Did they have to make those changes initially when they shot it? Yeah, so they did all that when they first came out, and then they had that original footage again, that they were restoring to 4K, but it has none of those things on there. Like the modifications they had to make in the initial edit. That's funny. I saw them. I laughed.
Starting point is 00:17:54 Because you see, like, the people on the ground and the camera and the machines and stuff. Yeah, it's not, this is not 1950s or whatever it's supposed to be. What's crazy is when you watch, like, old 80s movies, like back to the future in 4K, and you can see all the makeup. Like, the makeup's so bad. Oh, I've never noticed. Yeah. Yeah, like Doc's makeup, you know, the professor or whatever, you can see the skin kind of peeling off around his neck. I went to go see the first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie in theaters again this year.
Starting point is 00:18:20 And you can see, like, sometimes when they open their mouth, you can see the person inside of it. Or there's sometimes, like, on, like, the roof scene, you can see, like, the end of the end. You can see like the edge of the set where you see it's just a backdrop but not a real city. They probably got away with so much because the quality was so bad. Yeah, I don't know that my vision
Starting point is 00:18:34 is even good enough to see even in 4K. Did you know there's sometimes like my, so my Wi-Fi is on the second floor and we watch football games on the first floor. Sometimes the, I guess it starts to buffer a little bit and so it kind of looks blurry. The football game starts looking blurry.
Starting point is 00:18:51 And I was telling my mom, I'm like, this is crazy, this is how we used to watch football. And we thought that was normal. Dude, to see some of the, the 90s clips of football, it looks like it's in 1910s. It looks like they're shooting it in black and white, grainy one flip at a time. And we were watching that. And we just thought that was normal.
Starting point is 00:19:07 But to see it back now, it was garbage. Do you remember when the HD flip happened? You're like, wow, is this crazy? I can see everything on the field. I didn't have an HD TV. So that was a slow roll because I would see it in certain places little by little. Yeah, like restaurants. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:20 And then it would become more normal. It had to be like color TVs back in the day. Have you ever seen the newscast where they go and they show the first color? ever when they flip to color television. It's a newscast. I've only seen it on TikTok obviously. I wasn't alive in whatever year this was, the 50s or 60s. And they're black and white and it's two guys and they're like, this is the news.
Starting point is 00:19:37 And the other guy walks across the set to another set and the camera just kind of follows them and he sits down. And it's like, now for more. And the screen goes, color for the first time. Now you had to have a color TV to see it and most people didn't have a color TV. But imagine that change. I think it's going to be the same whenever it goes from a screen television that we have. now to when everything is basically 3D coming off of a platform instead of it's vertical now.
Starting point is 00:20:05 I think it's going to be a platform on the bottom that it comes off of. Like how they do, what do you call that when like Tupac comes back? Holograms, like holograms? I think it'll be basically holograms because you see it, Mike? Isn't that crazy? It was crazy. Could we show that? Yeah, let me pull it up here.
Starting point is 00:20:22 Because I'm told our screen works now. Like if I were to reference that. Well, my whole system's not working. Really? Can you change it, scuba? Because this would have been a good example. And I'm so used to not having adequate technology that I just go, this is what I saw and try to describe it. But it would be cool if I could show it if people are watching it on YouTube.
Starting point is 00:20:43 All right, we're going to have a little experiment here. Take your time, everybody. I'm serious, take your time. It's like going to color TV for the first time. So what's the process? It's a wide shot here. So we go to a wide shot, okay. Well, and scuba has to flip a switch on his computer.
Starting point is 00:20:58 that machine right now, but the machine is taking a while to load up. And then Mike is supposed to be able to put some out. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. This is like the first time they saw color. This is it. I got a note from Scoob, it's like, hey, finally, after a year of you asking. It's working. They've been able to get us where we can just flip stuff up on the screen.
Starting point is 00:21:15 Could be why my computer's not working today. And then it goes and takes over Mike's computer. I flipped the video screen. We got movement. Okay, we're all black. Okay, now we're, oh, that is not. That is a messed up screen. Half there.
Starting point is 00:21:30 Mike, that is your computer. Yeah, but it's all tilted. Try and pulling your screen back. Oh, no. Give it a second. The weird thing about this studio because I've been building a new studio. Oh. Oh, we have it.
Starting point is 00:21:48 Is it this studio, I preferred the nine screens because of what we could do here and put backgrounds up? Yeah. But it just so doesn't work. So many times it's almost not worth it. Okay, here are the two guys. The guy walks across the set now. It's in black and white. I didn't show you guys the first two guys.
Starting point is 00:22:03 that we're together, but he walks from doing a newscast, and now he's putting like his ears in so he can hear the producer, and he's going to sit solo at a desk, and then for the first time, America sees this as he does the news. And it's like, there it is. Oh, wow. Bob Bruner. That did look a lot like us getting the screens up.
Starting point is 00:22:26 You know what they had to be like, is this working? And their version of Scoobo Steve's like, I push the box. That's cool. Do you ever see the best? Hey, can we get audio scuba? That doesn't feed audio, no. We're not there yet. Are they kidding?
Starting point is 00:22:42 Baby steps, dude, baby steps. If I were going to have to feed audio, that'd be Eddie's thing, I believe, and yours isn't working right. Okay, so this is a funny, you can't hear it. I bet you I can identify most of these news bloopers, though, because I've seen them all. All right, let's just let it roll here. We're practicing our new system. I don't know what he's saying. Yeah, I don't know this one, though.
Starting point is 00:23:01 I don't know. Is this like a highlight montage? Yeah. I don't know. This guy says a large cat spot. Does this guy jump up in? No. And then it ends up being a tiny cat in the back.
Starting point is 00:23:12 It's not that one. Okay, that's funny. That's funny. That's funny. All right. Let's see. Let's see if we can do one more. Thank you for your patience, everybody.
Starting point is 00:23:21 Do you ever see the one where the guys like out? This is the person we're looking for. And they put the drawing up. Oh, yeah. It looks just like him. I just saw it the other day. Yeah, that was funny. I thought that was going to be on here.
Starting point is 00:23:32 Maybe that's so old that. even my news bloopers aren't relevant anymore. It was a thumbnail. It was a thumbnail. You ever see one of the two girls? And they're young. They're like out of college, but they're doing like a North Dakota, like one of their first jobs, a small market. And they're both there.
Starting point is 00:23:48 And one of them was just like looking at the camera like, ugh, because she didn't think they're on. And the other girl's like, she's like, hey, you're on, you're on. She's like, well, this week in the news. She goes, I so pale. Yeah. Yeah, she's looking at it. She goes, I so pale. Those are great.
Starting point is 00:24:01 All right. one day we'll get I can't Is that the sketch guy? No, that dude was white The other dude I think Was like Hispanic or black
Starting point is 00:24:10 But those are the two news guys at first So I described that kind of property There's two people Yeah that's pretty cool clip It doesn't matter Most people are listening to this on podcast anyway They're not watching But soon enough when you watch
Starting point is 00:24:24 You'll be able to watch us watch And isn't that what this is all about? Yes You saw what Eddie? Oh it's a TikTok of Just like red carpet you know things where things went wrong in red carpets
Starting point is 00:24:35 and it was like the one where Tom Cruise got squirted by water I haven't seen that and he's just like why would you do that why would you do that and the fact that people are doing crazy stuff on the red carpet
Starting point is 00:24:44 and then the way people react is like really funny to question dumb questions why would they spray Tom Cruise I don't know there it is right there social media clout I guess but this is before social media
Starting point is 00:24:55 this is e-bom's world so it's maybe it's like a fan spraying him not because he's doing an interview But like there's fans everywhere all around Yeah possibly They get squirted right in the face And he's like
Starting point is 00:25:07 Why would you do that? And he gets mad You know what Tom Cruise That's just for Tom Cruise Now it's frozen Okay And then there's the Kesho on Where she goes up
Starting point is 00:25:17 Why does all of our stuff suck? Oh no dude We finally have it Okay we can't hear it But Tom Cruise is talking Okay he's tall He's having a heck of an interview Looks like vampire
Starting point is 00:25:29 Smiling Did he get squirted? That was small No not yet No you'll see it Okay, still talking to the interviewer. I wonder on what angle the spray comes. It's going to come over there.
Starting point is 00:25:41 Oh, it came from the microphone. It was a prank from the microphone. Yeah, Tom Cruise, punch him. Wasn't that a joke microphone? Mike, if you were... It had to be, yeah. It came right from the microphone. That's so not cool.
Starting point is 00:25:54 By the way, not cool, but hilarious. Like, to have that, I wouldn't have done that to Tom Cruise. No, dude. Too big of a star. Look at the angle. That's funny if it's like one of your buddies. Like, for us in this job... Uh-huh.
Starting point is 00:26:08 But, yeah, bad move. And he tries to be cool about him and he's like, what is happening? That should piss him off. And then his person is like... Blocking it with their hand, the water spray? Yeah, that sucks. All right. One other thing.
Starting point is 00:26:21 We talked about the raccoon, the drunk raccoon. One of you guys, do you guys, do you guys, don't mess with raccoons. If you see a raccoon, leave it alone. Even if it's a drunk raccoon, passed out in the bathroom, leave it alone. A man tried to drive an injured raccoon to the nature center, but it bit him on the face and his hands during the drive. It also had rabies. Oh, no.
Starting point is 00:26:40 Does that mean he has rabies? Well, it means these guys start taking shots immediately in his stomach forever for a long time. Maybe not forever, but for a long time. And when something has rabies, they have to kill it immediately. Because you can't fix rabies, and they have to go into the brain.
Starting point is 00:26:53 That's the only way they know if an animal has rabies is by going in. Once it bites them, they don't know it has rabies. It's an animal that has rabies a lot of times. So they have to go and kill those animals once they bite to see if they have rabies because to see the effect of the human. So they have to go and cut the head off and cut the brain in half and see if the brain is affected with rabies to which it was.
Starting point is 00:27:12 So now this dude's got to take all these shots because he was trying to help an injured raccoon. So they had to kill the raccoon to find out of the had rabies? Yes, you can't tell. Now, if it's like foaming at the mouth, you guess, but you still don't know-no. You don't really know until you cut the head off and go into the brain. Also, why didn't this guy put it in like a cage? May not I had one. If it's injured and you have that in your heart, you're like just throw it in the back of the
Starting point is 00:27:34 car. A shoe box. Right. Whatever. That's not on the screen though. That's the drunk record. Oh, we're still screening it? Okay. So where do we scuba? So I can't really go to this then unless it's just a visual, but then that's going to take us a long time. Yeah. It's not your fault. This is not at me being irritated at you. Yeah, I know. Yeah, I know. Because we're just trying to get it done and we're relying on. It is just such something that I have friends that do shows. They pull it crap all the time. They play audio. They do everything. They're just like, boom, on a call. Pull this up. Boom. Boom. Play it.
Starting point is 00:28:04 We just have almost so much and too much technology. And it was built by somebody that they ended up laying off 80% through the work. And so it's kind of like you kind of get what you get. Then why can't we just bring in one rogue rolling mobile screen that sits on the stage. And it's just like, check this out. Like we were watching an illegal Dallas Cowboys game the other night from Mike's TikTok account on the screen like in my studio at my house. Like these don't even have screen mirror, right? No, yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:32 I had to bring in a Roku. Dude, yeah. We're like, I can do that at home. Yeah. But I guess these TVs don't have that. It's crazy. It's crazy. We can't even.
Starting point is 00:28:39 We'll grab up. Yeah. We're just trying to make content over here. The Bobby Bone Show. Everybody wrote. Yeah. Travis Kelsey said him and Taylor Swift has not fought once in two and a half years.
Starting point is 00:28:49 Eddie, ask somebody's been married for 20 years. We fight all the time. What does that tell you, though, if someone says, I've been in a relationship for multiple years and we haven't fought once. That means he's not fighting. Like, he's just being like, you know what, Taylor, you're right. and I'm assuming he does that because it's Taylor Swift. I mean, like, he won the lottery by getting Taylor Swift. So, of course, he's like, I'm not fighting this.
Starting point is 00:29:11 Will you play a clip from the podcast, Ray? Travis. Joey asked you the same questions. Well, it's only been two and a half years, and you're right. I haven't gotten an argument. What do you think? The same. Because any intimate relationship you're in, it can be a friendship.
Starting point is 00:29:31 It can be a roommate. It can be a, uh, romantic relationship two and a half years. If you're in intimate settings, I'm not even talking about romantic. I'm talking about just close. You're going to fight with anybody. Just because you're two human beings with different emotions and feelings. Yeah, it sounds like.
Starting point is 00:29:47 Oh, Travis just kind of taking her lead. But in the podcast, George Clooney says the same thing. He hadn't fought, you know, argue with his wife at all either. Well, that's like 10 years. Yeah. Yeah, that's what led to that. Morgan, what do you think? I wonder if what he's saying is like they haven't had any big blowups.
Starting point is 00:30:02 Maybe they've had disagreements. because I feel like it's impossible not to have a disagreement with somebody that close in your personal life. So I wonder if he's saying arguments, like they haven't full out yelled at each other and had intense arguments? This is what it is. Travis Kelsey revealed he never once had an argument with his fiancé Taylor Swift. Okay. That feel, okay, so I thought that George Clooney part was performative, which is why I didn't bring it up. Because it's like 10 years, we never had an argument.
Starting point is 00:30:29 I feel like that's just him kind of being funny. Because, again, you live with somebody, you're going to have an argument. Travis is saying two and a half years and they never once had an argument as a response I feel like that's just him going hey I don't want to mess this up yeah
Starting point is 00:30:42 yeah agreed like maybe I locked this down then we can fight right once they get married once they say I do you know what I don't like it when you do this now that we're married
Starting point is 00:30:53 yeah but do you think you guys can hold on for two and a half years and not say something? Yeah yeah easy yeah of course you just have to just
Starting point is 00:31:03 make up your mind. I'm not arguing. Yeah, whatever you say, dear, until we get married. I'm sure people do this all the time. In the reversal. I'm sure that there are women as well who do this with men. They marry somebody. They're like, hey, I don't want to screw this up. I want to get married. So a guy could be rich or it could be this situation. And she's like, I just want to get to the marriage because then I know I'm guaranteed.
Starting point is 00:31:21 It's kind of an athlete. Don't get hurt in your contract here. So I just want, we're probably wrong about that. I'm sure it's a great healthy relationship. There's no way, man. there's absolutely no way. I agree. Maybe they're just not together that much. Oh, that could be it. Do you think about that? And so when they are together, it's all honeymoon period. Because he's gone a lot playing ball. She's gone a lot, I don't know, singing. She's not on tour right now. Recording albums. Yeah, album. Press. Yeah. I've been married for basically five years. Been together for six or so. And it's like, I just don't see how two and a half years into it. You don't have an argument. But after you guys met, how quickly did you guys are. argue about something. We dated for my four months and then COVID hit.
Starting point is 00:32:07 So then we were just stuck in a house. We were stuck together. I think Mike and I were talking about this yesterday on a podcast. I think the first reality in my relationship with my now wife was because I never lived with anybody. I never even had a romantic relationship that counted that I would consider like a big relationship until my wife. I never lived with anyone romantically, anything like that.
Starting point is 00:32:26 And when we were living together during COVID, there was a point where I would work in the morning because we work from our homes and then I'll just go huh I guess I'm going to play video games I'll play video games all day and the reality moment was when she came and she was like hey I live here too like I know you work all day I didn't think anything about it I'm like she's just in the living room so that's funny that was kind of the first the thread that was like oh I'm in a relationship now I have to like have awareness that there's another person that I need to then it opened us up to have conversations that weren't comfortable, because that's where the relationship grows in uncomfortable conversations. But good for them. Maybe they just never fight. Maybe. Maybe they'll never fight.
Starting point is 00:33:12 He's a fight or argument. But even argue because argues less. But you can argue over like where we're going, where we're going for dinner, right? You can argue like what coffee cup you keep using without washing it every day. Yeah, you guys can call us. If you've been in a relationship and you've never fought. That just means somebody's going, maybe their personality is not that of a of conflict. I did see somebody make a comment. They both make so much money, so maybe they don't have anything to argue about because... Oh, you can argue about anything else.
Starting point is 00:33:39 I don't know. I don't think money affects arguing. Not at all. I've been on both sides of the money thing, and I've been just as argumentative. All right, thank you for that. Call us if you want, 877-77 Bobby. That's our phone number.

Hello, gorgeous, it's Lala Kent.
Starting point is 00:37:54 Host of Untraditionally Lala. My days of filling up cups at sir may be over, but I'm still loving life in the valley. Life on the other side of the hill is giving grown-up vibes, but over here on my podcast, Untraditionally Lala, I'm still that Lala you either love or love to hate. I've been full on over sharing with fans, family, and former frenemies like Tom Schwartz. I had a little bone to pick with Schwarzy when he came on the pod. You don't feel bad that you told me I was a bootleg housewife? I almost flipped a pizza in your lap.
Starting point is 00:38:22 Oh my God, I literally forgot about that until just now. Sorry, I don't want to blame alcohol. I got to blame that one on the alcohol. This is about laughing and learning when life just keeps on life in. Because I make mistakes so that you guys don't have to. We're growing, we're thriving. And yes, sometimes we're. We're barely surviving, but we do it all with love.
Starting point is 00:38:42 It's unruly. It's unafraid. It's Untraditionally Lala. Listen to Untraditionally Lala on the Iheart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. I want to go talk to Diana in Oklahoma. We were talking about Travis Kelsey and Taylor Swift, and he said two and a half years, they've never had a fight. And I'm like, man, they must be the perfect mix of personalities then. Or he's just like, I don't want to fight because I don't want to mess this up.
Starting point is 00:39:11 I got a good thing going. Diana, you're on the show. Hi. You're on. Go ahead. Yeah, yeah. My husband and I, actually today is the 16-year anniversary of our first date. We've been together for 16 years, dated for four, married for 12, and we've never had a flight. And I agree with Morgan that disagreements are different than fights.
Starting point is 00:39:33 I think when you get two people who have a lot of respect for each other, you're going to disagree, but you're not going to blow up. And my husband's got the personality of very, he ponderes things, he thinks on him, he doesn't just lash out. And I also think we were in our 40s when we started dating. We were a second relationship. That matters. So I think that helps your mature. And we've already been, we already been through all that. You know, when you're in your 20s and you get heated and just blur things that we learned.
Starting point is 00:40:00 We learned from past failures in relationships, what doesn't work. And I think this is when you love somebody and you have a lot of respect for him. So if Taylor and Travis are just two and a half years in, I believe them. They probably haven't fought. Now, that doesn't mean they haven't disagreed, but I think they have respect for each other, and they listen, and maybe sometimes they agree to disagree. I think you can have respect for somebody and still fight with them, so I don't want to make those two things.
Starting point is 00:40:26 Also, I think if you are together in your 40s and you both have gone through it, I think you probably understand what's even worth arguing about. And also we're dealing with semantics here. he said they never had an argument. Argument. Yeah. We went to fight ourselves. I think some days, though, you just don't feel good.
Starting point is 00:40:44 Some days, you didn't get enough sleep. Some days something happens with something outside of your control, and most normal humans react in ways they're probably not proud of, which at times triggers a fight. But I don't think couples that fight have any less respect or any less love for each other. Yeah, my wife and I respect each other. We love each other, but we have arguments, and sometimes heated arguments.
Starting point is 00:41:04 Yeah, arguments need to be the word. That's what we're using earlier with this. Yeah, not fights. There's no swinging. But we've had fights, but it's all semantics, right? Some people consider a fight in an argument, a disagreement, whatever the case is. I do think, though, it does matter if you've been through it already because it shows you then later on. Some things are worth going through it again for and some aren't. So I completely understand Diana saying, we got, we started dating in our 40s. Sure. Diane, I really appreciate that call. Thank you. Thanks. Bye-bye. All right, bye. Let me go to Lucy in Michigan. She's been married 14 years. They've only had one fight. Lucy, is that true? Yes. We have been dating since, or we've started dating in high school, and we got married at 19 and 20. We've been married almost 14 years, and we've had one major argument in our whole entire marriage. I mean, sure, we have our little tips for tat, but it's nothing where we don't, we just don't get angry with each other because we talk about it immediately. And I feel like that's key. Communication is definitely key to a healthy relationship.
Starting point is 00:42:05 Yeah, and everybody says that. I think the type of communicator you are, though, matters a lot on how you actually resolve the conflict as well. And do you have to be angry to be in an argument? I am rarely angry at anything. Right. And you argue. Yeah. So I am not an angry arguer.
Starting point is 00:42:22 If I'm angry, I shut down until I am less angry. So again, we're dealing with a lot of semantics here, tit for tat, fight. That's all that. So, but that, to me, what I hear is we have one personality in this relationship that definitely is not about conflict at all. Is that true, Lucy? One of you guys is definitely not about conflict at all. I agree with that. My husband is definitely, he would rather just like not, not handle it.
Starting point is 00:42:49 But I'm very much so, like, if you're having these big feelings, if we're having like some type of feeling, like we need to talk about it now. And I feel like over the years, as we've matured together and gotten older together, it's definitely helped him be like, yep, you know what? We need to face this head on versus like letting it fester. I think you're a lot like my wife. And that's been a bit of what our relationship has been like. Because I have the emotional maturity of like an 11-year-old when it comes to being in a relationship. Just haven't been a lot of them.
Starting point is 00:43:16 I'm talking about not just romantic, but even like family relationships. I didn't have a lot of that. And so I've had to develop. And she's very much like Lucy, our caller that's like, hey, this is happening. need to talk about it. Where I'm just like, yeah. Do we?
Starting point is 00:43:30 We'll wake up tomorrow. This will be a thing of the past. Lucy, I appreciate that call. Thank you for calling this and spending a few minutes with us. See you later. I get it.
Starting point is 00:43:40 It's a personality thing for sure. Or it's a, I'm just going to hold on as tight as I can so I don't mess this thing up for sure. So if that's the case with Taylor and Travis, who do you think is the one that just doesn't argue, the peacemaker? Taylor's an alpha.
Starting point is 00:43:54 So it's Travis. I don't know that for sure, but Taylor's an alpha. Right. For sure. You can tell the Taylor's the alpha. No, I didn't say the alpha. Or A alpha.
Starting point is 00:44:01 You have to be an alpha to be in a position of power like that. I'm not talking about in the relationship just in general. You're not, if you're a CEO, if you are in the creative field, if you are a head football coach, you've got to be an alpha. Yeah. So I... I see what you're saying. I got to. Morgan, what you think?
Starting point is 00:44:22 Yeah, I think a lot of it is semantics. And I do think there's a possibility that they haven't ever argued, but the why and what it looks like, you know, who knows. But I do think they both have very matching personalities and that they want something to work. So they're going to try and find any way to make it work. Also, it's probably a lot easier if you're not together a whole lot. Which I don't know that they're not together.
Starting point is 00:44:41 But if you have jobs, it every day's hunting. He plays football in other cities. All right, thank you all for the calls. We really appreciate that. Eddie, we got a lot of calls about you trying to get your wife's ring size. Oh, yeah. Would you like to hear one of them? I would love an idea, yes.
Starting point is 00:44:52 Eddie wants to get his wife a ring But he doesn't know a ring size And she only owns one ring And it's on her finger at all times Yeah that sucks Carolyn in Colorado Springs We're gonna put you on here Hey Carolyn
Starting point is 00:45:01 Hello How are you Good you're on the show Go ahead So Abby just got engaged So that's a good reason to say Oh You know
Starting point is 00:45:12 When's the last time Eddie had her ring Checked for loose prongs or coined Okay I feel you I've never Never I've never done that so
Starting point is 00:45:21 So you have a reason now to talk about that. They'd be like, hey, Abby got engaged. Oh, I don't know if that's enough. I think what you do is you make up a lie. Like, hey, did you hear like one of Caitlin's like, one of her, like small diamonds fell out of her diamond ring? Oh, yeah, yeah, I wouldn't want that to happen to you.
Starting point is 00:45:35 Like Bobby was talking about that. Your prongs? Because I think that's, I don't think the Abby situation makes enough sense for you to check her ring. Right, like I thought of it because of Abby's. You need to have me lose something. Like she needs to have lost something. And then it's like, hey, do that something you do is check it?
Starting point is 00:45:50 I don't know. Could you pull that off? That's a good idea. I think I could. I mean, I could probably, you know, dramatize a little bit and be like, I'm really a terrible actor, though. Concerned about your diamond now. Can I see that?
Starting point is 00:46:00 And then I'm just going to, but where do I take it? Do I have to buy one of those measuring things and just keep it in my pocket? That's a good point. Is there a measuring thing to keep in your pocket? Yeah, you can definitely buy one on Amazon, like a measuring kit for a ring. So if you do get it for a hot second, you can measure it. I think Carolyn's on to something. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:46:16 So I just need it for like two minutes to get that little thing on there. And as soon as you get it, you walk into the back. What is he doing my ring? That's not going to be suspicious. Carolyn, I like it. I like where your head went. I appreciate you calling. Thanks.
Starting point is 00:46:29 All right. See you later. All right. Guys call us if you want. 877-77 Bobby. Hey, it's $999 in Amazon. The ring size thing? One of these ring-sizers.
Starting point is 00:46:39 Perfect. You just have to... And is it long? Like, where do I keep that thing? Like the ones I see at the store. In the bathroom, under the sink. So when you walk in the bathroom, you just pull it out from under the sink.
Starting point is 00:46:49 The Bobby Bones show. I want to get to some more calls. This is June, who is listening in Mississippi. Hey, June, you're on the show. Hey, welcome. Morning. So I've been married to my husband for 22 years, and we have had one fight when we were either dating or engaged. And I do think it's possible.
Starting point is 00:47:10 What about an argument? Because that's what we were using, and it's, again, the word's been throwing. Not really. We had one argument. Okay. We were dating. It was my fault. I apologize after the fact.
Starting point is 00:47:22 I was like, I was being really just. disinconsiderate and I'm really sorry and he's like it's okay but you were being like outlandish and I said I realized that and we have six kids together and I'd never live with anybody else before and our kids said mom you know you did a disservice because you never argue and so we had no idea how to resolve conflicts amongst ourselves or with our boyfriends and girlfriends I said well I could like make up a fight and we could like role play but I mean we never fight why I think that is Okay, so see, I have trouble when someone says they don't fight because somebody's great, like a great guy, because I think Eddie's a great guy. Thank you, man. I think you're a great guy.
Starting point is 00:48:01 We have fights. And we fight with our spouses. Are you? Ray, do you ever fight with Bay? Are you kidding me? Yes? Yeah, we definitely fight. You're a great guy.
Starting point is 00:48:11 But I think that we don't do it in the moment, though. So we would maybe say a couple words back and forth to each other and then we'd shelve it. And then we both come back and say, all right, hey, this is where I was wrong. here's how we can resolve it. So I would say in the moment there's not a lot said. We both know it's going to be heated. She'll like go to a room or something like that. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:48:28 June, one of you guys' personalities is, again, is it conflict-voinant? No, not at all. I mean, he lives with the one word of selfless. He's 100% selfless. And so I said, what do you want to go out of the key? Wherever you want to go. I mean, I said, like, Chinese. Okay, we go to Chinese.
Starting point is 00:48:44 He's very much, you know, a godly servant heart. He's just, and he's kind and he never to ever think about himself. He always puts other people first. Well, maybe that's what we need to find then. Somebody needs to do that. Yeah. That's a rare. That's a rare.
Starting point is 00:49:03 It's so rare. And then like, so if I went to my wife and be like, all right, one of us has to be selfless. Who's it going to be? How do you decide that? I don't think it's something that is asked. I think somebody just has to be that person. Oh, the bigger person. Because if I go, hey, Caitlin.
Starting point is 00:49:18 I've come to the conclusion that one of us has to be selfless. And she'll immediately go, oh, thanks for offering. All right, that can be you. You're the one. June, I'm glad you shared your story. Listen, all relationships are different. And I appreciate you, and I'm glad you found a guy that seems like an absolute dream boat. Yes.
Starting point is 00:49:36 Thanks for much, Bobby. All right. Bye-bye. That's crazy. That's crazy. See, I think even if I told my wife, like, hey, like, we're arguing and be like, you know what? I'm a selfless person. I'm just going to say.
Starting point is 00:49:47 Oh, she'd kill me. She would kill me too. Yeah, she'd kill me. Good point. That wouldn't work. Don't claim yourself. Let's, because what I do, and it's annoying, is if I'm wrong about something, because I do have a problem with admitting I'm wrong. And if I'm wrong about something, I don't always go and approach it as, hey, I was wrong about this.
Starting point is 00:50:05 I will approach it. I'll kind of go back door and be like, hey, I was thinking. What if we did this? And in reality, that approach is just apologizing for something I did on the other side. Yeah. But what I do, because she'll say you never admit you're wrong. Really little things that I've been wrong. about. I'll go and I was really wrong about how many tablespoons it took to make.
Starting point is 00:50:23 And then I'll go, yeah, and then I'll be like, see how often I admit I'm wrong? She's like, that's not what I'm talking about. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Thank you for that. Let's go to Cliff in Mobile, Alabama. This is about Eddie's Ring. Hey, Cliff, you're on the show. Good morning show. What's happening, buddy? What's how y'all doing this morning. Doing pretty good. What you think about Eddie's ring? What you could do is what I did when I got in a game. When I got in and got married with her ring was that, like I said, when she's took in when she's, you know, doing whatever, and it's off,
Starting point is 00:50:55 grab the ring, put it on whatever finger it fits you the best. Don't push it down, just let it sit gently on your finger and mark it with a pen. At the point of your finger. That's interesting. Correct. How does he get the ring, Cliff?
Starting point is 00:51:12 That's a great idea, by the way. I haven't thought about that. No, that's a really good idea. But how does he get the ring, in your opinion, off her finger without her thinking something's up? A lot of times women don't wear their jewelry while they're shower, you know, this, not getting dressed, makeup, this and the other. No, it's attention to detail. Let's come on, man.
Starting point is 00:51:30 Come on, now. So, like, or when she's cooking, see, my father, when she was cooking, you know, it's sitting there ring on its side, you know, you're goofing off. Hey, let me see a man, you know, you got bigger fingers that she does. I want to see what that's on my finger. You know, that's not another. Just put on there gently and just mark it with a pen, you have a good eye of reference of what's where, where, where, the ring is on your finger and so you have a better idea of what to get. Say if it lands in the crease of your ring finger, it lands in the first crease of yours.
Starting point is 00:51:58 You've got a reference point and you can go from that. I think there's some brilliance in that. It's just step one is how do you get the ring? Step one, I have seen her take it off when she's cooking. It's not all the time, but sometimes. So I'll keep an eye out for that. But once I do mark my finger, then I go to the jewelry store. Then you measure your finger.
Starting point is 00:52:15 You can use that kit. Okay. But that's like where you put the, the ring on it. That little measure thing, you put the ring on it, it tells you. Oh, it is? You put the ring on the... Yeah, it's like a stick. So do I have to just go to the, maybe I go to the jewelry, the jeweler. You could do that, yeah. And then show them my mark. You better make sure you don't wash your finger. Right. I can do with a sharpie. After that happens, that's a good point too. I don't know. It just seems like at this
Starting point is 00:52:38 point, she's like, hey, I want to buy you a ring. Right. Just tell it. Yeah. Let's go get. But Cliff, Cliff, I think that's a great idea for our listeners. Like, if you can sneak the ring, put it on and mark your own finger at what that size is, that's pretty solid. We're pretty solid. We Appreciate that call, man. You welcome. All right, see you later. Let's go. I did have another poison pill game that we did not get to, which was Eddie and Math.
Starting point is 00:52:58 Because Lunchbox lost, Morgan lost. We have Angie on. Hey, Angie. Angie in Idaho. How are you? Good morning, Bobby. Good morning, studio. Morning.
Starting point is 00:53:09 Hey, we're going to let you play a game here. You know, during the show earlier, we played the Poison Pill game with Lunchbox played music. And did you win Lunchbox? I forgot. No. Morgan played 80s trivia. Did you win?
Starting point is 00:53:20 I forgot. No, I didn't. And the reason it's called poison pill is because it's impossible. This is their weakest category. And Eddie's is math. So, if Eddie gets five out of seven right. Impossible. In math, you're going to be the big prize winner today, Angie.
Starting point is 00:53:36 Awesome. Okay. All right, Eddie. I'm back in you here. Angie, I'm so bad at math. You have to understand. It's so bad. Poison pill.
Starting point is 00:53:44 Here we go. Five of seven. Ready, Eddie? Yeah, I'm ready. What is 12 divided by 3? Does he get to use a pen, Mike? Yeah, it's math. I guess so.
Starting point is 00:53:56 You think so? Yeah. It's math, guys. Morgan Lunchbox, should he use pen? It's math. I don't think it's going to make a difference. Okay. Yeah, it'll be right or wrong.
Starting point is 00:54:04 I wouldn't even know what to write down, dude. It'll be funnier if he gets it wrong. 12 divided by 3. Yeah, I couldn't even do that and wrote it down. 12, 3. It's not 6. 4. Correct.
Starting point is 00:54:23 How did you get to that? I just counted. I was like, what number times three is 12? Yeah, that's... Right? That's one way to do it. What number times three is 12? That's exactly it.
Starting point is 00:54:35 Yeah. Okay. What is the square root of 49? Do you know what a square root is? No, not really. Something divided by itself into the square root. You're just saying words. Yeah, yeah, I have no idea.
Starting point is 00:54:49 What's the number? Square root of what? 49. See, I feel like... like, oh, seven times seven. What's seven times seven? Seven. Is that your answer?
Starting point is 00:55:07 Yeah. That's correct. Woo! How'd you get there? I did seven times. It's like a number, a number times itself is the square root. So I was like, well, what times what is seven times seven? And I had to do, I had to go seven times five first because I know that one, 35.
Starting point is 00:55:24 Then I had to count 35, seven. Yeah, you explaining it's confusing me. Dude. I knew better what it was before you started. Listen, that's how my head works. Because you are... I have discalculia. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:55:35 Descalculia, okay. What's the next number in this sequence? 2.4.8. 16 blank. 2.4.8.16. So 2 times 2 plus 2 is 4. 4 plus 8. 8 plus 8 is 16. 16 plus 16. That's tough.
Starting point is 00:56:02 20. 24. You had. Wait, wait, wait. 16 plus 16. Is? 20. Oh, that's not 24, idiot.
Starting point is 00:56:14 34. No, not even that. Are you sure? Yeah, I'm sure. Because you had the formula. I know, I did. And then what's 16 plus 16 then? So 10, 10, 20.
Starting point is 00:56:25 6 and 4 is 30. Where are you getting the 4? 32. Yeah. Gosh, I'm an idiot. 248, 16 blanks. I would have gotten that with time. We gave you time and he had like three guesses.
Starting point is 00:56:38 Okay, you missed that one. Okay. You can only miss one more. What is 14 times three? We did this hard way. Have you been doing it the easy way? No, no, no, it's all the hard way. 14 times three.
Starting point is 00:56:57 So 14, 14. That's 28. 14. 14. 30, 38, 40, 42. Your answer is? 42. Correct.
Starting point is 00:57:16 Man, it helps to gamble because sometimes when I'm looking at spreads, I have to do this. Like when you're on Drive King? Yeah, and I see the score. So if you gambled more, you'd be better at math for your kids? Yeah, that's my point, yes. Got it. Okay. If you have 24 apples and you divide them equally amongst four friends,
Starting point is 00:57:33 how many apples does each friend get? That's 24 divided by 4. That's the formula. Four times, six times four? If you have 24 apples and divide them equally amongst four friends, how many apples does each friend get? Oh, four times five is 20. Yeah, four. Hold on, wait, wait, wait, wait.
Starting point is 00:58:02 You didn't let your hand off the chest piece yet. I got it. I got it. Six. Correct. Yes! One more right, and you're the winner. Come on, let's go.
Starting point is 00:58:11 I know. I know this sounds simple, and I'm not making this up. I know that's simple math, but it is so hard for me to figure that out. The perimeter of a square is 36. What is the length of one side? Perimeter of the square, so all of it is six. It's 36, the whole thing. So 36 divided by four.
Starting point is 00:58:35 It's four sides of the square. Four times. Five seconds? 20. Shoot. Shoot. Answer? Nine. Correct.
Starting point is 00:58:46 Winner. Yes. You hit it. Yes! You hit it. Wow! Wow! Angie, we did it!
Starting point is 00:58:54 Wow. You got five, right? Good job. You only missed. Oh, she's talking to you like a child. I know, no, I feel stupid. No, no, she definitely hit you with that child. Good job.
Starting point is 00:59:00 And I knew this game was going to make me look stupid. Andrew, are you proud of him? Very. Angie, did you... Very proud. Were you listening and being like, idiot? It's six. Like, idiot.
Starting point is 00:59:13 It's four. Nope. That's good answer. She just says, nope. Scooby, can we get her like an assortment of prizes from the back? Yeah, we all kinds of stuff we can hook her up with. Yeah. All right.
Starting point is 00:59:24 Angie, I hope you have a great holiday. Thank you for listening to the show. Hold on a second, okay? Thank you. All right, there's Angie. Let's see how you guys do with them. Let's see. Only five seconds to answer this, though.
Starting point is 00:59:36 Morgan, if a shirt costs 20 bucks and it's on sale for half off, how much is the shirt cost? Shirt costs $20 and it's half off. It would be $10. Correct. Lunchbox, what is five squared? That's 25. Correct. Eddie, how'd you feeling those two?
Starting point is 00:59:53 I mean, stupid. You just didn't get to them. You would have got to them, maybe. Eventually, but not that quick. Morgan, a pizza has eight slices. If you eat three slices, what fraction of the pizza is left? Well, there's five slices left. Yeah, pizza has eight slices.
Starting point is 01:00:09 Yeah. If you have three slices, what fraction of the pizza is left? Five eights. Correct. Yeah. I got that one. You did? Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:00:19 That one's easy. Lunchbox, what's the square root of 121? 121's 11. Nice. Gosh, that's so quick. How does he do that? How'd you do that? It's just knowing your multiplication tables.
Starting point is 01:00:33 Gotcha. And just go into that number? Yeah, it's like third grade. He keeps jabbing you, dude. Rubbing it in. No, you asked how I knew it. That's how I knew it, man. Yeah, multiplications are very much just memorization, at least for me.
Starting point is 01:00:45 You think I can still go back and memorize it? Yes, because you can memorize things. I think for me, especially up until the 11s, it's all just memorized. I'm not doing any sort of math to figure out eight times seven, 56. Like, okay, there's seven of eight. It's just a straight memorization. Dang. So, I wonder if I was just, like a song.
Starting point is 01:01:06 You memorize song lyrics all the time. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I can memorize things. But I wonder if I was daydreaming that day or what. Like what? Was I just not paying attention when we were learning those things? I don't think it's a one day thing. I think your multiplication memorization is over like, I don't know,
Starting point is 01:01:19 half of a semester of third grade. It's a lot of days. It's a lot of days. Yeah. You did win though, so we'll get her a prize there. Nice up. Let's roll some voicemails here. Hit me with number one, Ray. Call her ask if you guys could do a Christmas dance party. I don't think she meant on Christmas morning. I think she meant just do a dance party with Christmas music in it. I would love that. If you could do a Christmas music dance party. Have a great day. That makes more sense than what I thought.
Starting point is 01:01:47 It does. thought she meant do a Christmas dance party on Christmas Day. You shut that down really quick. Because nobody listens on Christmas Day. Except for hard work and delivery drivers and EMS workers. Maybe if there's ice salt, salt trucks. Santa. He's done by the morning.
Starting point is 01:02:06 Oh, he's done by the morning. Yeah, yeah. He worked all night. He's done by the morning. It's a great point. I will reevaluate my stance on that. Thank you for the call. All right, go number two.
Starting point is 01:02:14 My name is Cambrian Cooper. And I'd just like to say, me and my grandfather listen to your show every morning. And we love it so much. And I just really wish, because his birthday is coming up, it's on December 6th. He's born in 1949, he's turning 76. We love your show so much, I promise you, and I would not want to let him down for his birthday. I just really wish from the bottom of my heart to the top, we love you guys. And I just please, pretty, pretty please.
Starting point is 01:02:43 Anyway, thank you so much for listening to him of this comment. Bye-bye. She never asked for anything. She just kept saying it's his birthday and she really wishes for something. Like a shout-out. But she never said that. And I don't even know if she said his name. She said her name.
Starting point is 01:02:56 Yeah. Cambrian Cooper. He was born in 49. December 6, as a matter of fact. I got that. But she never really asked for anything. And she doesn't want to let him down. We don't know his name.
Starting point is 01:03:07 Cambrian's grandpa. Shout out. Hope Saturday's awesome. That's your birthday. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. She also said something that I've never heard before.
Starting point is 01:03:15 She said from the bottom to the top. Of her heart. Of her heart? Yeah, and I've always heard somebody say from the bottom of my heart, but I've never heard bottom to the top. It's the whole thing. Well, she got us on like eight ways there on that one.
Starting point is 01:03:26 All right, go ahead, number three. You guys are talking about why does Amy always stick up for a lunchbox? I figured it out. Amy is so scared of retaliation. She thinks that if she goes at lunchbox so you guys go at him, then he'll retaliate. He's got the worst anger problem on the show.
Starting point is 01:03:43 She thinks that he'll retaliate if she's mean to him. That's what it is. Thanks. I think that's a wonderful theory. Amy's not here today. She's missed the show today. She had some personal stuff. So that's why he didn't hear on the show or the podcast. I think there's something to that possibly. Great point. I mean, he's gone after other people. Who though would be scarier if they snapped? Scuba Steve or Lunchbox? Like who would you rather have snap on you? Oh, that's easy. Lunchbox? No, scuba. Oh, rather snap on me? Lunchbox. Who are you more scared of? Scuba. Same. He'll kill me.
Starting point is 01:04:13 Yeah. Lunchbox can't kill me. You're talking about physically? Yeah, his arms don't work. Like he can't, I don't think he can catch me. Well, maybe he can catch me. But I think I can beat him up. Like scuba, there's no way.
Starting point is 01:04:24 Like scokebos choked somebody once and woke up afterward, right, scuba? I don't know what you're talking about, man. I know. I don't know. I did have a recent issue with a mall Santa thing in line. And I quickly, but now I've grown. It happened this past weekend and I was sick and tired. Go forth.
Starting point is 01:04:39 And so we're standing in line and Santa's late. He's supposed to be there at 10. We had an appointment at 10 o'clock. It's now 10.45. I had one kid that just threw up. I had two of the kids that are sick and tired. And so Santa finally shows up. The guy gets there and he's talking to people online and we're in the reserve line.
Starting point is 01:04:55 And some lady just walks up in the standby line. And he goes, all right, we're going to take you, take you. And then he looks at the lady who just walked up. And he goes, and you're going to be next. And then we'll get to you. And I was like, blah. I was like, hey, sorry, dude. Let me to cut you off.
Starting point is 01:05:08 But we've been here for 45 minutes. And she just walked up. And she just walked up. And he's like. He's like, yeah, I control the line. I understand. But just the logic of it is we've been here for 45 minutes and I want to go after that guy before she goes next in line.
Starting point is 01:05:23 And she's like, whoa, whoa, I'm not, it's not my fault. She did nothing. She's going to get choke slams. I'm not mad of you. I just want the logic here of us being here for 45 minutes. We have to go next. And he's like, all right, we'll figure that out when we get to that. And I was like, there's nothing to figure out.
Starting point is 01:05:37 I've been over 45 minutes. We're going next. Scoob is in a confrontation with Santa. Love it. It wasn't his elf, right? What's Santa? I think, I'm pretty sure it was. He had a pretty tight beard.
Starting point is 01:05:46 Okay. And then so, and then we get up there, we're going next. And I start to stare him down. It's like one of those like Clint Eastwood type. And then I'm like, who's he going to pick us or the lady that just lolly gagged up there a second ago?
Starting point is 01:05:57 And she goes to stand up and I go, don't even think about standing up. We're going next. Wait, did you say that with your own physical words? And then we walked in. And we walked up next. And then I got up to the guy and I was like, man, I'm really sorry.
Starting point is 01:06:08 We've gone, we've gone through a lot. And it's been a long day. and I apologize for how I acted, but it just logically in my head it made sense for us to go. We've been here for 45 minutes, and our appointment was at 10 o'clock and Santa's late. He goes, you're right, it's fine.
Starting point is 01:06:20 It's just a crazy day, do, do, do, do. So it ended up being all right. Did you see in the future of you choking Santa? I saw me the future. I don't know what I was going to do, but it was a busy day and I just had it. But I was pretty proud of myself to take a deep breath and then apologize for how I acted,
Starting point is 01:06:37 even though the logic of it is we should have gone next. Why do you think he was going to let her cut the line if she was in standby line and only got to standby line after you had already been in line? I have no idea what that was because the guy had locked eyes with us a couple times. So I'm like, oh, surely he knows we've been here this whole time. And my kids are little, you know, Eddie, you got four kids, lunch three. They're antsy. It's been no kicking away 45 minutes for anything. That's tough.
Starting point is 01:07:00 Especially when they think they're going to be seeing Santa and one of them's sick and all this is going on. And I'm like, who the hell? What world is this guy in where he's going to take them when we've been here for this long? It just didn't make sense to me. I was so pissed off by it. Yeah, I could see where any sort of line thing makes me mad. Although I don't choke. Like the cutting lines, people cutting lines.
Starting point is 01:07:17 Because that feels what that is. Then I wonder is Santa trying to get some action. He's, like, bored. He wants something to happen? No, meaning he's letting some woman cut. Like, is he trying to, like, get in her pants. He's married, though. Well, this woman was here.
Starting point is 01:07:32 She was there by herself. Look, scuba what? The lady was there by herself with a kid. Oh, no. And Ms. Claus, she went there? Miss Claus. Yeah, yeah. Like single mom.
Starting point is 01:07:40 Santa's far away from the North Pole. Come grab this candy cane. Let's go. Any chance that that was Santa just picking a woman? If Santa's into that woman, sure. Yeah, maybe. It doesn't make sense that he just picks her or anybody walking up in a standby line. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:07:56 And there's only three of us in that reserve line. I'm looking behind me. There's no one else behind me. So it's like, why would you not go with us? We're in the reserve line. We've already paid. We're here. Dude, that would make me so mad too.
Starting point is 01:08:05 Yeah? Yeah. I don't rage out, though. I would worry. about scuba physically assaulting. I worry for scuba. He's not feeling well. He's lost 20 pounds because he's been so sick. He's got this hernia slash tumor problem. He's got multiple kids. He's at the mall. Santa's late. Somebody just cut in line. And the guy in front of me is like, you can go in front of us. It's not a big deal. And I was like, no, no, no. You're going to go
Starting point is 01:08:25 and you're going to go and then we're going to behind you. It's how line works. Amen, brother. Yeah, one, two, three. And then go over to the deal with the lady. Scoob's going to snap on us right now. I've set us up to be snapped on by Scuba. How was, how was the Santa experience with your kid then? Was he equally as nice to your kid as he? the other kids? Oh, super nice. They ended up having like a full meat and greed. They took photos and they got to talk about what they wanted for Christmas and everything, so it was a great experience. And then the guy at the end
Starting point is 01:08:47 felt really bad. He gave us our photos for free. Oh, that's cool. Works out. Because he saw what happened. He was scared. He was scared. He knew he's going to get the choke slam too. This one's on us. Don't worry about it. You got to think like the elf or whomever this guy is. He also didn't really want to be there. Like Santa's been looking to that, looking forward to that for a whole year. Like that's his thing. It's why he's growing out the beard.
Starting point is 01:09:06 That's what he does. Yeah. Like, that's part of his. personality. Like we all have personality traits that we put on ourselves. A big part of personality is I'm a big Arkansas fan. I'm an Arkansas guy. I talk about it all the time. You know that guy all year is talking about how he's Santa Claus in the winter. Because he is Santa Claus. Yeah. Yeah. And Santa Claus talks about it all the time. Right. All the time. He's proud of being Santa Claus. Yeah. What do you do? Like, do you, when you're about to choke people out, like, do you just go black? It just feels like Teen Wolf, right? Like when he starts to feel it coming on,
Starting point is 01:09:36 He's like, no, no, no, I got to control. Or a hawk. The Hulk. Like, what do you see? It's like a pit bull, you know, like that moment happens. So the moment when he was like, all right, we're going to take you, you. And he skips us and goes as a girl. The first thing that happens is like you get this like rush of energy that goes from like your core, your soul.
Starting point is 01:09:53 And it goes to your throat. And you have this half a second moment of like, do I say something? Do I say something? Hey, man, listen up, dude. And then you just, then you once you've committed, you're like, oh, crap, I'm in it. And like the whole world stops and you're spinning and you're looking at everything. and you're like, oh my God, I'm now in this. I've now committed.
Starting point is 01:10:09 I've told this guy to stop for a second. Now I have to continue on because I can't be a little B and I can't hold back. I have to... You got to choke him. You committed? Somebody's got to get choked. Suck it.
Starting point is 01:10:23 Yeah. Wow. Yep. But I didn't physically, I didn't get physical. I didn't yell. I just raised my voice. Should you get a ribbon for not being physical with Santa? Like, should you be able to celebrate.
Starting point is 01:10:32 I think guys should get a little credit. I didn't beat Santa up. And then when he walks. the way I look at my wife. I'm like, can you have my back here? Like, we're logically right. Like, like, we're next in line. We've been here since 10 o'clock and he's late. Why go with the lolligagger? We need to knock this line out first. And she's like, I understand, I understand. But just, you shouldn't have said anything. It's just leave with kindness. I'm like, oh my God, I'm so sick of that freaking narrative.
Starting point is 01:10:54 Like, I'm leaving with logic. We're supposed to go next. But you don't understand the kindness thing? You don't understand that. But I don't, but why why not understand the logic of it all? Like forget kindness. It's what makes sense. You have a lot of what I have. You're so insecure. Like you're built insecure because of how we grew up that it manifests itself in different ways. And for you, I think it is anger, which turns into rage. I think mine's equally as unhealthy. You're just a bigger dude. You probably could win more fights when you were younger than I could. Mine did not manifest itself in equally unhealthy ways. but I think that's, I feel like anybody,
Starting point is 01:11:34 I'm so insecure that from how I grew up that anybody disrespecting me is them saying they're better than me. Yes, exactly, yeah. And I can't have anybody said they're better than me because people treated me like that my whole life until I was an adult because I was a little poor kid. And so anybody that's disrespect to me, you're telling me that I'm not as good as you.
Starting point is 01:11:50 And that's so many wounds from childhood that that's where it comes from. It's like a primal thing that you're just like, I will kill you. And I used to hold it in. and now that I'm confident and I'm not afraid. I'm like, now I'm just going to speak my mind. Why not?
Starting point is 01:12:05 They have no idea. You could have been an NBA player. For sure. They have no idea. The athleticism that you possess. But I agree with you, Eddie. If I had to pick somebody to rage on me, if I'm picking, it's not scuba. No chance.
Starting point is 01:12:16 He'll kill you. You'll kill you. You just heard it first. He almost killed Santa. Right. Yes. Now, lunchbox gets mad. He gets mad.
Starting point is 01:12:24 Who rages out quicker of the two? Lunchbox. For sure. Like, that's like, I don't know what that. that pit bull. I thought he was going to kill Abby once. Right. When they were cleaning out for the palette.
Starting point is 01:12:35 Oh, when we can hear, we can hear what the phone? I thought he was going to kill Abby. Abby, did you feel like he was going to kill you? Yeah, I had not been not scared.
Starting point is 01:12:42 Have you ever felt scuba was going to kill you? No. No. Not physically. Not physically? Mentally? Yeah. No.
Starting point is 01:12:53 No, lunchbox, I had never seen that sign and I was like shaking in that closet. I thought he was kidding. And then no, he was not kidding. Not a joke.
Starting point is 01:13:01 It was not a joke. Nope. Nope. It's been a few times. Thanks. Any thoughts, guys? Lunchbox, scuba before? Yeah, I mean, when you're trying to steal my items, my stuff, my property, that's, you know, that's what happens. It was all of our stuff.
Starting point is 01:13:12 We all paid for it, right? She didn't. But it was all of ours. It wasn't like she was telling your stuff. We were like, that. But that's all ours. I'm defending our property. If you come into my house, I'm not defending it.
Starting point is 01:13:20 No, but we told her to get it. Like the four of us. I was doing you a favor because you weren't doing anything. I'm not getting back into this. I feel, I feel scuba snapping on Santa. I felt lunchbox snapping on Abby's. The time of years. I mean, what stuck out to me?
Starting point is 01:13:33 It's the most. Scuba shouldn't even been at Santa. He said his kid just threw up. I mean, that's just wrong on scuba's part altogether. Well, I tried to leave. My wife's like, she's like, we already paid for this. We can't get her money back. Let's keep going.
Starting point is 01:13:46 And so I was like, all right, whatever. So we went and bought her a new shirt and got back in line. That's why when I went to see Santa, he was out sick. Question about kids. Sometimes they just throw up even if they're not sick. Yes. Yeah. Like my kid will have a coughing fit.
Starting point is 01:13:57 And then she, I'm like, dude, you got to chill out. took a deep breath and she keeps coughing and coughing and then I'm like, is this an attention thing? And then all of a sudden, next, you know, over there in the corner of the trash came. You saw my son do that. You saw it in person. The little one?
Starting point is 01:14:09 Do what? He was coughing. Yeah, but it's coughing because he's sick. He's coughing because he's sick. He's coughing because someone's throat. Swin' the wrong hole. Whatever came out, the whole stomach came out. Got it, got it.
