Listen to Money and Wealth with John Hope Bryant from the Black Effect Network on the I'd Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. The Bobby Bone Show.
Starting point is 00:03:14 I was watching some TikTok last night, and I was watching this girl talk about the Blake Lively court case that's happening, but also the Taylor Swift situation, and she can tell about how Blake Lively was threatening to put out the Taylor Swift text messages, from their relationship if Taylor didn't stand behind her. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:03:32 Yeah, that's somebody I just wouldn't mess with, is Taylor. Yeah. Here is, I'll play the clip, but then I need to credit her. She has like a weird name that's like the manly, unnamed girl or something. This is the TikTok account? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Hey, Ramundo, would you hit that clip? So word on the street is that Blake's lawyer called Taylor's lawyer instead.
Starting point is 00:03:56 if Taylor doesn't publicly support Blake, we are going to leak Blake and Taylor's text messages over the last 10 years. The only person that's like more vindictive than Blake is Taylor and Taylor is smarter and she has a better team and she's more powerful. So then a source goes to Justin Baldoni's team in Wayfair and tells them all about it so that they then leak it to the press. And remember it was like last week or whatever Taylor released a statement. through her lawyer that was basically like, I don't that movie. I didn't even watch that movie. She said, I don't care that I'm the godmother to your three children.
Starting point is 00:04:34 You're not roping me into this mess. So that's DJ Hungry Human is her name. And she has a bunch of stuff. So, but yes, so apparently, allegedly, Blake lively's attorney threatened Taylor Swift's attorney, which is Taylor, with not just messages about this, but private messages forever of their 10 years. and I'm going to leak them if you don't come out for Blake. That means you get all the swifties for Blake.
Starting point is 00:05:03 And Taylor's like, okay, F you. And her lawyer goes to Justin Baldoni, who's against Blake, if you believe that. I just wouldn't mess with Taylor. No. I mean, I don't think I can go back 10 years of our text messages. Can you? Maybe if you've been saving them because somebody's super famous. Like, that's how I threaten you.
Starting point is 00:05:23 Ours is like, dude, check this TikTok out. Yeah, I know, no. There's really nothing on me. I'm also always aware not to text anything. Even like group idiot texts we have. You ever heard of the thing? If you're not texting things in your group text with your boys, that if it got leaked, you'd be in a lot of trouble,
Starting point is 00:05:38 they ain't really your friends. Oh, well, who says that? Dudes. That should be like that's sacred place. And if you don't feel like it's sacred that you can say anything, it ain't sacred and they ain't your boys. Well, so then are they your boys? I don't have any boys if it comes to me writing stuff that it could get me canceled.
Starting point is 00:05:56 Okay. Yeah. Our group texts are pretty clean for the most part. Our group texts are mostly just people going, I love the cowboys. I hate the cowboys. I love the cowboys. I hate the cowboys over and over again. That's pretty much it.
Starting point is 00:06:09 So risque. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So that happened. I shot a 78 playing golf yesterday. That sounds like it's a good score. It's a big deal. It's a big deal. Yeah, you went the closer to the age.
Starting point is 00:06:21 You are the better. No. Well, I'm sure. That's how I remember. That would be good. Because, like, most games... It just means it's lower. Okay. Most games, you want a high score to win.
Starting point is 00:06:31 But in golf, you want... You want the lowest amount of strokes. Right. I've never broken 80 in my whole life. Oh, so yesterday was a big day. It really wasn't big because there was nothing like wildly dynamic about it. But you went lower than you've ever been. Absolutely.
Starting point is 00:06:45 That sounds like a big day. But nobody was ever noticing because I was not making, like, crazy good shot. I was hitting, I was playing well. But a lot of par I had 12 pars I had no birdies That's crazy But I shot a 78 And it's on my Instagram
Starting point is 00:06:58 And I know nobody cared But I had to post it Just so like four people In the life could see it How long have you been playing golf? Now a long time But I haven't played I've played like four times
Starting point is 00:07:08 In the past a year That's it Because I hurt my shoulder And stop playing And I think what happens Is you go away from it And you forget Why you sucked
Starting point is 00:07:13 So then you just go play free But I never I never shot like that And it's not a big story I didn't see it on ESPN this morning I looked You sure? Yeah well well
Starting point is 00:07:21 I look to see did Bobby Bones shoot a 78. It wasn't on there. Does that make you want to play more to try to shoot a 77? I'd rather play a pickle ball right now. Only because golf takes four hours. I don't have four hours. Well, play four holes? That's stupid.
Starting point is 00:07:36 No, nine holes. No, you can't do that. You can't do that because if you're playing a really good nine, then you have to finish the 18 because that's the whole round. He would never know if he was going to get a 78 if he would have done nine holes. Oh, okay, I understand. I thought you can't just like play nine and then take that score and double it and be like... You can't have hot golf.
Starting point is 00:07:57 That ain't it. Yeah, so. But it was a big day. That sounds like a big day. We kind of last minute in the afternoon jumped out there. It was me, Eddie, and Gator. And like to... So what do you think caused the low score?
Starting point is 00:08:11 I was drunk. No. He decided to start drinking. Yeah. By the way, Ray thinks he has a drink I should drink. What? Oh, my gosh. Ray, what's your thing here?
Starting point is 00:08:19 Yeah, so it's called the Radical Rita and it's at Chili's, only this month. And they said it's kind of for 90s kids. So obviously we couldn't drink in the 90s. But this is our chance. So it's themed. So you got your pinks, your blues, the colors of the 90s. And then there's a swizzle stick is what it's called. And then it'll turn the whole thing purple.
Starting point is 00:08:38 It's going to remind you a save by the bell. It's got some margarita in there. You got your Curacao. You got a bunch of good stuff. It's going to taste epic. And I think it's the drink for you, honestly. there are probably drinks that taste great right oh yeah that I just haven't
Starting point is 00:08:52 like a pinia colotta you'd love it because it's mostly about I don't want to drink the alcohol more than there's nothing that tastes good you know what I mean I'd probably have a peanut peanut peanut colladda what radical Rita does look good Eddie goes today to get one to chilies he goes it'll remind you of save by the bell
Starting point is 00:09:08 it does look like save by the bell like they'd serve it at the peach pit no no no no the mats 90210 oh my gosh what is wrong with me I know what is wrong with you? Do you know who ran
Starting point is 00:09:21 the Peach Pit? On Beverly Hills? Yeah. Do you know who ran the Max? Who owned the Max? You should know this one. Obviously, I can't think of their name. I can see the...
Starting point is 00:09:34 Well, it's not Max. It is Max. Was Max a magician? Yeah, he's the server, the owner. Okay, so Max is a magician on that one, but then... I didn't make sure he was a magician. All I can see is the Peach Pit owner's face. that older guy
Starting point is 00:09:49 tan skin he was a magician and his name was you're never going to get this well it was managed by Ginger Baldwin Jeffrey Hunter and Kelly Kapowski at three different points
Starting point is 00:09:59 but the owner was actually named Max it was Max he was the magician I don't know it was the name yeah Peach Pit Amy who owned who ran it
Starting point is 00:10:08 well I can just picture what he looks like I can't get to his name right now Mr. Peach no no what was his first name
Starting point is 00:10:17 It's tough. Nat. Nat? Yeah. Okay. Because, I mean, he was a pretty involved character. He would get invited to things outside of the... Who's your favorite 902-10-1 character?
Starting point is 00:10:32 I mean, Dylan. Is that Perry? Luke Perry? Yeah, bad boy. He was like 41 playing a 16-year-old. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Then there's Brandon and Brenda and Kelly.
Starting point is 00:10:41 I think he was actually 26 or something playing a teenager. But, yeah, I think... There's an episode. that was hilarious. Looking back, it was when Brandon Walsh was playing basketball and he was on the basketball team
Starting point is 00:10:55 and the coach wouldn't let him play. And he's like, you're not good. And all of a sudden he's John Stockton out there out of nowhere. I like the sports episodes when you look back,
Starting point is 00:11:02 they're so stupid. The Fresh Prince one, when Will is awesome at basketball and he's scoring 20 points a game. And you can tell the goal is actually lower than a 10 feet because he's like dunking like crazy making all these three-pointers.
Starting point is 00:11:16 And at the end, Carlton, spoiler alert, just wants to be in the game. and wants to make a shot, so he chunks a half-court shot to win the, they're like, throw the ball, and he won't throw it, so he throws a half-court shot and it misses by like 100 feet. Do you guys remember that episode? No. Okay, how about in Teen Wolf whenever...
Starting point is 00:11:32 A great movie, by the way. Michael J. Fox is shooting free throws, but the bad guy, the kid, the mean kid, Michael J. Fox is basically shooting free throws off a technical, so there's nobody in the lane. But the bad kid's under the goal, like, what are you going to do? Like talking crap. They'll never allow that. happened but I always like the little elements added to sports movies to that would never happen but also make it a little better yeah you same same yeah did you watch teen wolf at all
Starting point is 00:12:02 anything come from line I've seen it once I mean him surfing on the car he didn't serve uh he did so yeah so yeah uh what's the name styles styles drove the band and he is on top yeah and kids died doing that because they were trying to be like teen wolf yeah it's terrible I did that did you watch cool kids attitudes kind of groovy laid back mood style both can be so good vibrations sounds familiar hold I'll get there
Starting point is 00:12:30 don't even if it uh don't wake me up when I'm dream California dreams It was California dreams I had to get there yeah Gosh I remember that show Who was Sly Winkle Was like the funny
Starting point is 00:12:47 manager guy but it was all that they all played instruments. They were a band. Don't wake me up when I'm dreaming. Was this like a saved by the bell knockoff? It wasn't a knockoff, but it was around the same time. But yes, it was very similar because it was youthful. It was kids.
Starting point is 00:13:06 Any of that? Like familiar? Yeah, I never saw that. And then like in 2010, I'm going to guess the year they all got back together on Jimmy Fallon and performed the song again. Oh, wow. California dream. Nothing? Nope.
Starting point is 00:13:16 Yeah, it's familiar to me. You guys probably had stuff to do and like families and stuff on the weekends. No, I would watch Save by the Bell. Yeah, but everybody would watch Save by the Bell. That would even come on at all times. I know, but I know that I saw what you're singing. California Dreams.
Starting point is 00:13:28 Yeah, sing it back in force. California dreams. Don't wake me up when I'm dreaming. Was Melrose place good? Yes. But different because that was a prime time show. I never watched it. But that was different than the other daytime shows.
Starting point is 00:13:43 That was more 90210. That was a spinoff from 90210. I don't know if it was a spinoff. It was. Was there a character that crossed over? Yes. Okay, which one? They would cross over.
Starting point is 00:13:52 No, I know, but it was definitely a errand spelling show, but I don't know if it was a spinoff. Well, they would, characters would go on, like, characters from 902.10 would go on Melrose Place. Yeah, yeah. I guess my question is, did Melrose Place start with somebody from 90210. Okay. Let me think about it. Let me think about it. Well, I guess because, let me think, maybe the handy.
Starting point is 00:14:14 maybe the handyman from 9-0-2-1-0. Oh, he crossed over. He lived at the apartments in Melrose and he would fix things. That's it. That still counts. Kelly would go lay out at the pool. Let me see here. Darren Star created Melrose Place. The show followed a group of residents
Starting point is 00:14:34 in a fictional apartment courtyard complex in West Hollywood, ran for seven seasons. Were there any characters? The handyman that lived at the apartment dated Kelly. It literally was. The handyman created the whole spinoff. I'm not arguing. I don't know that he did.
Starting point is 00:14:45 I'm just saying that's where I know that he would end up on 902 and O and she would end up over there. Darren's produced by Aaron Spelling. It was a second series in the 90210.10 franchise. I'm just looking for a spinoff. So if it's a 902101 franchise, it's under that umbrella. But a spinoff usually spins from a character. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:15:07 For example, family matters spun from Perfect Strangers. Who was the character there? So they were in Chicago. and Harriet Winslow worked at the newspaper. Okay. Frazier spend off from Cheers. That's correct, yeah. And again, I'm not arguing with you.
Starting point is 00:15:26 I didn't watch Melrose Place, so I don't know, but I'm trying to, Mike, was there a character? So the character Jake Hanson, who was in the second season in 90210 was the main character in Melrose Place. Is he a handyman? I don't even know that character. Yes, yes. I don't even know the character. He would fix things and had a motorcycle. I don't know, in a leather jacket.
Starting point is 00:15:44 That was also Dylan. That's every character. What was his name Mike? Jake Hansen? Jake Hansen was his character name. Went on a dude to catch a predator. What? No, that's Chris Hanson.
Starting point is 00:15:55 Oh, my bad. I don't recognize. My feeling after seeing this is they created Jake Hansen just to make Melrose Place. Well? I'm not, again, you're right. I don't know this character and I watched all 90210. But did you watch all a Melrose place? I never watched single episode.
Starting point is 00:16:11 Oh, see. Okay, I did. But that's why I don't know. It was a spinoff or not. I knew it was produced by the same people, but my feeling after reading this is it wasn't that some character got popular and they spun it off, like friends, they tried Joey. I think they had put somebody on that show just to go,
Starting point is 00:16:26 it's now a spinoff of 902 on O. Yeah, I could see that happening. Do you recognize that guy? Yes, that's the handyman. No, from 902, it is? Yeah. That's hilarious. If they brought a guy in for like one scene, all right.
Starting point is 00:16:38 Jake, can you fix the sink? All right, we're ready to spin off. He dated. It looked like he was only in two episodes. No way. They for sure put him in just to do the other show. So he dated Kelly. Oh.
Starting point is 00:16:50 You know, what's her name in real way? He only appeared on two episodes of the second season of 90210. And then they built a show around. That's awesome. Yep. So they didn't build a show around a character on 90210. They created a show and slid him into 90210 so they could go. Also, that's pretty brilliant.
Starting point is 00:17:10 Kelly was Jenny Garth. Okay, Jenny Garth. Yeah. Jay Kanson. And before he moved to the Melrose Place apartment complex, he was considered a bad boy biker type. He opened up his own motorcycle shop. I don't see anything about a handyman.
Starting point is 00:17:21 Okay, but I said he had a bike and he could fix things. You did? His bike or like... He had tools. My kitchen. No, I just know that like oftentimes he just, you know, have his shirt off with a tool. You nailed it.
Starting point is 00:17:35 You nailed it. But that's hilarious that that was more of a spin-in than a spin-off. A spin-in. And Aaron's spelling is Tori's dad? Correct. Okay. So she was Donna. Was that the only reason she was on the show?
Starting point is 00:17:47 Yes. Was she still? What was she on Say By the Bell? Was she Donna on Say By the Bell too? She came in a screech's nerdy girlfriend. I'll say by the Bell. But what was her name on that? Violet.
Starting point is 00:17:59 Yeah, Violet. Yeah. Good call on Chbockes. So she was, because I was like, oh my gosh, was 9-0-20-spin-off of Say-by-the-Bel? That'd be crazy. Yes. Yes, it all was. No. No.
Starting point is 00:18:09 Erin's spelling shows. I mean, he had a ton. Yeah, yeah. Like he had the most expensive house in L.A. for a long time. Okay, he had... And then did you say... Charlie's Angels, the original for 76 to 81. The Love Boat, Heart to Heart, Dynasty, Beverly Hills 9-0-Mell Rose, plays 7th Heaven.
Starting point is 00:18:32 Dang, all bangers. Charmed. And then I think he died. Yeah, he had some big ones. So did you also say Darren Star? Or something like that. Yeah, because he's the guy, he's done a lot to... He did one episode of the Jeffersons.
Starting point is 00:18:44 Sex in the City It's a spin-off. So like when you're saying? That is a spinoff though. The Jefferson's is a spinoff of Give me the character. Can you tell me the character? Yeah, the dude.
Starting point is 00:19:00 George? Yeah. Now he was a, this is a real spinoff because he had a big character. I'll give you a hint. Archie's place. Oh, don't know. Mama's family?
Starting point is 00:19:17 No. Well, da, da, da, da, da, da. What's the show called with Archie Bunker? All in the family. All in the family. George Jefferson was like... I thought it's called Archie's Place. All in the family.
Starting point is 00:19:30 Yeah, spinoffs. So when you say like spelling or whatever, like, did he create these shows? Or he created a bunch, but then his production company ended up housing them. And like Darren Stark created, I believe, Melrose Place, but he was under the spelling. And Sex and City. And I think he also did, like, young. I mean, they have tons of stuff. I think Aaron Spelling also did Yellowstone a Landman.
Starting point is 00:19:52 No, he's dead by then. Oh, he was? Okay. All right. A win is a win. A win is a win. I don't care what I'm saying. Yep, that's me, Clifford Taylor the 4th.
Starting point is 00:20:04 You might have seen the skits, the reactions, my journey from basketball to college football, or my career in sports media. I thought, how could this happen to me? The cops didn't seem to care. So they take matters into their own hands. I said, oh, hell no. I vowed. I will be his last target.

Starting point is 00:23:47 insights from the smartest minds in marketing. I'm talking to leaders from the entertainment industry to finance and everywhere in between. This season on math and magic, I'm talking to CEO of Liquid Death Mike Cesario, financier and public health advocate Mike Milken, take-to-interactive CEO Strauss-Zalnik. If you're unable to take meaningful creative risk and therefore run the risk of making horrible creative mistakes, then you can't play in this business. Sesame Street CEO Sherry Weston and her own chief business officer, Lisa Coffey. Making consumers see the value of the human voice

Starting point is 00:24:37 that's really good. This is not a Tuesday Reviews Day, but I did something so uncharacteristic last night as I watched the finale live on television with commercials. I hadn't done that in years. That's crazy. You have to watch commercials.
Starting point is 00:24:50 Yeah. Who does that? Who does that? And I had to find the network. Oh, wow. It was free form. Ever heard of it? I have heard of free form.
Starting point is 00:25:01 No. I didn't even know what that was. It's on your TV. That's the eye, it was. Somewhere on there. I was flipping through and I found a free form. So my wife and I started watching the show and it's a one season, five parts, five episodes. It's called Stolen Girl.
Starting point is 00:25:18 Anybody I heard of this? No. No. So we started binging it because you can watch it on Hulu. Only five episodes. I love those. There is no season two. I love that beginning and end.
Starting point is 00:25:32 We're watching Stolen Girl. We're totally into it. And I'm always hesitant to Google anything about the show because I never want to spoiler. So we googled how many episodes it said five. So we watched one, two, three, four over the weekend all the way up until now. And so we sat down to watch episode five. And we have finale mode, we call it.
Starting point is 00:25:56 Phones go down, fully focused. Like, you're in finale mode? I am. Let's turn the show on. It said, comes out at 2 a.m. Last night on stream. We're like, wait, what? Well, when does the air live?
Starting point is 00:26:10 And it air live last night at 8 p.m. on Freeform. We're like, do we even have that channel? We didn't know what Freeform was. So we Google it and we don't have cable. We have YouTube TV, which is basically cable. But you can watch it on your phone. It has all the channels. We find Freeform TV.
Starting point is 00:26:26 I feel like we're downloading nap from Napster or something illegal because I don't know what that is. We go to it. It says it was coming on last night at 830, an hour long show. So we're, we are in finale mode for the stolen girl. And we watch it. And I'm in. I'm so excited. Phones down.
Starting point is 00:26:45 We're focused. And all of a sudden, like an Arby's commercial comes up. What? What? I can't fast forward into the commercial. It was unbelievable. So it was like four commercials in a row. it made the viewing experience miserable.
Starting point is 00:26:59 Well, yeah, but that's what we used to have to do all the time. Yeah, we used to also have landlines and we didn't have penicillin. So that's not an argument. So I paused it for a long time. Like went to the bathroom, walked around the kitchen. I just like walked around. When I easily could have been watching commercials, I just like went and walked around. So we were like 12 minutes behind and then we finished it.
Starting point is 00:27:20 But I haven't watched a television show. Sporting events don't count because they're live. But I haven't watched a television show like that. and I don't know how long. The show's awesome. I'll give the full review next week on Tuesday, reviews day because I don't want to insult the integrity of that special day on this show. Tuesdays.
Starting point is 00:27:36 Yeah. Well, yeah, but now I'm just curious, like what, like a little bit about it so that I should start watching it. I don't recognize any of the people in it. One of the people in it who, I'm not going to say if she's bad or good, we watched in another show that was about using AI and video. on close circuit television. Yeah, whatever. Yeah, nobody's super famous, but I think it's kind of British.
Starting point is 00:28:04 It's great. We loved it. So much so we watched Arby's commercials during, on Freeform network. Did Freeform used to be something else or they just make that up out of thin air to play that show? Because sometimes they change networks. Mike, what do you think Freeform used to be? It used to be ABC Family. Oh.
Starting point is 00:28:22 You would have never watched the show me. You're watching ABC Family. No, no, it's not ABC Family. Well, I know, but it does it still have the same vibes? Or they would have kept the name. Okay, gotcha. We watched that, then Seventh Heaven. So, yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:33 That's it. No, I did it. Oh my gosh, I watched the docu- or started a documentary about that guy, the dad. Well, that can't be good. That's got to mean that dad's bad. He is bad. He is bad. Like, it's so wild that he played, you know, a pastor and, you know, was beloved by so many
Starting point is 00:28:50 of us and we watched that show. And, I mean, he was a creep. I think the show is called the Hollywood Monsters. Yeah. That's exactly. And they were interviewing like, cause. I think it was seventh hell. Because it's about different people. Oh, I thought it was just about him.
Starting point is 00:29:04 He's one of the Hollywood monsters that, you know, back then, and even till to this day, but even then, like, without the power of like spreading information, like, people were just so hesitant to say anything because nobody would believe them, especially because he was so wholesome and pure and he played a pastor. And at seventh heaven, he was the dad. I mean, you think this girl was like, you think somebody's going to believe me that, like, Like he walked in. Like she was a girl that was visiting her aunt.
Starting point is 00:29:31 You guys both watched this? We did randomly. It's crazy. So random. I actually forgot that I watched it until you just brought this up. But he, she was like sitting in his apartment for whatever reason. He invited her up there. And then he just walked out totally naked and was like, hey.
Starting point is 00:29:45 And she's a teenager. And she was like, what the? Like she, he did weird stuff. Let me tell you. He was nasty. Nasty. Nasty man. What's different than nasty.
Starting point is 00:29:55 Nasty. He was nasty. He did more than that, by the way. Speaking of TV shows, Netflix has announced some of the shows they're bringing back. Some of these are pretty cool because I'm excited. The Diplomat is Carrie Russell in it. Season 1 is good. Season 2 is awesome.
Starting point is 00:30:14 And she plays a diplomat and goes into the country. It's great. Anybody watch Diplomat? Yes. Excellent, right? Morgan's the one I think possibly watched it first way back in the day and I was like, eh, I'm not going to go for it. And then I think other people jumped in and I was like,
Starting point is 00:30:25 I'm being peer-pressured and then loved it. So that's coming back. The four seasons, someone watched that Tuesday Reviews Day? Morgan and I both have. They've renewed that. Oh, good. Bridgerton, season four is coming in 20, 26. But I thought they had like 20 seasons already.
Starting point is 00:30:45 Not 20, but. They've had some prequels and like a spin-off. Yeah. Like the queen. The other ones I never heard of. Forever. survival of the thickest Is that a reality show?
Starting point is 00:30:59 I don't know, dude. That's funny though. That's a funny name. Love on the Spectrum, which I know I don't watch. Million Dollar Secret, a serial game show with a $1 million prize,
Starting point is 00:31:08 my life with the Walter Boys, and then Bridgerton. So Netflix has all those shows coming back. I see they'll bring it back Star Search as well. All right. I care less. Star Search was awesome back in there. Star, Star Trek.
Starting point is 00:31:20 Anything like... No, no, no, no, no, it's not like Star Trek. You think it's Star Trek? It's Star Wars. What's coming back? Sorry, I tune out when you say Star. Just the word Star turns you out. Star Trek, Star Wars. It's not, so wait, what is it?
Starting point is 00:31:37 Ed McMahon Talent Show. Oh, that's absurd. Yeah, Star Surge. Okay. Yes, yes, that I can get into. If you're worried about 5G frying your brain cells, have no fear of health officials say. you can probably relax. A new study has found zero evidence at 5G radio frequency exposure harms human skin cells
Starting point is 00:32:00 or even cells inside of the skin. Forever we heard 5G is killing us. It probably is. They use the word probably in the thing. And it probably is. Right. And they say zero percent? Uh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:14 Zero evidence. No, no. Zero evidence. Yeah. They didn't say zero percent. It said zero evidence. Okay. The results provide strong scientific.
Starting point is 00:32:20 evidence against conspiracy theories claiming 5G technology harms cellular health. That is from 5G department. Of course. No, it's not. I'm kidding. Straight from them. It's from PNAS Nexus, a scientific publication. Adult children may suffer from revertigo.
Starting point is 00:32:39 Now, when I say adult children, that means when you go back home and you're around your brothers and sisters in similar situations or environments from when you were kids, that you start acting like the kids you were back then. Thoughts? I can see how that could happen. Like when my mom would get around her sister, her accent would come back instantly. And then I think also too, like not only that,
Starting point is 00:33:05 you're just exposed to things and stuff starts to come out. So behaviors follow after the accent. Yeah, accents for sure. If I go back home, it gets a little thicker. But even when you said that, you said, accidents come back instantly. Yeah. I mean, and then, yeah, I can see.
Starting point is 00:33:18 if your siblings are acting a certain way, you start to revert back to right when you did. They say like trauma will show up that way. Like if you're triggered, you go back to being whatever age you were when you were, you know, impacted like that. They say there's always going to be a small amount of kid inside of you that reverts back to a child when you're around your brothers and sisters or home environments. And that's from one of my favorite publications, first for women. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:33:43 Of course. Hey, never miss an issue. men are more likely to die of broken heart syndrome than women. New research reveals that men are twice as likely to die from Tokatsububacardi or broken heart syndrome. Despite being more common in women, the death rate for men that get it is over double. So men don't get it as much, but when they do,
Starting point is 00:34:09 they have double the chance of dying from it. What does this mean? I think women are more resilient. Okay. But men don't get it as much. But then they do, they die. Yeah. Is it a real thing I'm being heartbroken?
Starting point is 00:34:26 Yeah. Well, I would think maybe not. I would think maybe not until I said the words, Tocosubu cardiomyopathy. Then it's real. Because just broken heart syndrome does not feel or sound real in any way. It just sounds like you're sad. But the study emphasizes the need from monitoring and prompt treatments of patients
Starting point is 00:34:43 with stress-induced cardiomyopathy, I might not be saying that right, to prevent serious complications and reduce the high death rate associated with the condition. I'm assuming that that just brings immense stress and that stress is what kills you, more so than just being sat over a breakup. But a breakup is probably what brings that specific kind of stress.
Starting point is 00:35:05 Right. And by the way, I'm talking about talking sub-subu cardiomyopathy. Of course you are. In case you were wondering. So I saw this. And I had finally converted from calling it HBO Max to Max. Really didn't want to. But it is what it is.
Starting point is 00:35:21 It just says Max. Well, they announced yesterday, it's going back to HBO Mac. Oh my gosh. Why? It should be HBO Max. So good. I'm glad it's going back. But for like the last three or four months, I fought it.
Starting point is 00:35:35 I've given in. I had broken heart syndrome about it. May I survived it. But Max has changed its name back to HBO Max this summer. Warner Brothers Discovery has announced. Is that what the Karen Reid trial's on? I don't remember. I think so.
Starting point is 00:35:52 Yeah. Yeah. Oh, it is. It's on Max. Yes. Yeah, but anytime I talk about Max, I have to say, you know HBO, but now it's Max. But it's not HBO Max until later this summer. Oh, so we wait a little bit.
Starting point is 00:36:02 It still says Max. But if you guys want to watch the Karen Reid documentary, which is that trial happening up in Boston, I watch the version of it now on TikTok every day. there's no way she's going to be found guilty. No. They should throw the court case out. The judge should say this is all so stupid case dismissed, but she won't. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:36:23 I think something's up with that judge. Crazy. If I'm just thinking, a lot of people think something's up with that judge. And if a lot of people think it, it's got to be true, right? Uh-huh. Okay, cool. Next up, and this is a question. Eddie, what's the optimal number of beers to drink in one sitting?
Starting point is 00:36:38 Ooh, I would say six. Six. That's why they sell six-packs. Oh, my gosh. Oh, that's for one sitting. If you go and buy a six-pack, that's for like the one instant when you sit down. I remember the first time I went to my in-laws house and they knew I liked beer. They got me a six-pack for the whole weekend.
Starting point is 00:36:52 I'm like, whoa, it's not going to work. It's for one sitting. That's for Friday. Someone did a breakdown online. It's two beers of water. Then maybe a third beer. That's the best unless you want to actually get hammered. Oh, really?
Starting point is 00:37:08 I wouldn't say six is getting hammered. This depends on your tolerance. Yeah. How high is your tolerance? I have tolerance. So you can drink a six pack of beer straight up without getting drunk? Yeah, I probably like, I wouldn't. I wouldn't say I'm like really wasted, but I'd be like feeling pretty good.
Starting point is 00:37:23 They noticed that after about three beers, fatigue and mild next day effects set in, prompting them to reevaluate how much you drink, six hurts you more than next day and also makes you drunk according to this. But according to Eddie, six, you're just getting started. Yeah, that's a Tuesday. Hanging out. Anything after six is when it starts to get fuzzy. Dude, in college, we used to get 30 packs.
Starting point is 00:37:45 College those got to be different, right? That's from Mass Live, and that's the news. Those were Bobby's B. Stories. I don't mind gender reveals. You shouldn't do gender reveals with fire, or you shouldn't do gender reveals whenever you're, like, throwing people. Wouldn't you agree with that?
Starting point is 00:38:04 Those are basically the two rules. I can agree with that. A well-known Florida influencer and a mom to be. she did an extravagant gender reveal. Again, she's pregnant, right? So when I'm saying this, remember, she's pregnant. So they stood on stage in front of a background
Starting point is 00:38:19 with a sign that read team boy behind dad, team girl behind mom, and then people, and it was raining, they stood in ponchos under each sign waiting to see basically which one would light up. Everybody with me? Yeah. Already sounds like something bad could happen.
Starting point is 00:38:35 It's raining. There's a sign. Kind of electric. But don't worry, no electrocution. The parents then pressed down on a handle that read TNT. Oh, no. Oh, no. Dynamite. And turned around to see pink gloop shooting out of the team girl side. And so it kind of wasn't going right.
Starting point is 00:38:55 All the electric and it's wet. This gross substance and it is started covering people under the sign. Okay. The liquid shot out so quickly. it flooded the stage immediately, causing her to slip and fall to the ground. Oh, no. Remember, she's pregnant. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:39:20 Her husband's jumping up and down for joy. She struggled to get her footing, continued to slip. It's like ice when someone gets up and they go, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, yeah. And they get it, and then they're whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, they can't get it again. That's happening. And basically, she wiped out again. Oh. So, oh, man, it looks like she's, you.
Starting point is 00:39:41 getting slimed, like on double deer. And she's falling? Dude, she keeps falling. Oh. Anytime there's any, because they did the whole T&T thing with the two fists down, you know how you, the box. Yeah. And then all the goo just came pouring over the top.
Starting point is 00:39:56 Like something, something, I'm watching it here, something just didn't happen right. So since she got slimed as a girl, I'm assuming? Yeah, yeah. It's, that's close enough to an explosion though that you shouldn't do it, is my point. Like, you shouldn't do gender reveals with explosions. and that was close enough to an explosion. And they all had a good time. But if you're pregnant and you fall like that twice,
Starting point is 00:40:15 that's not good. That's not good. No good. Collie, I mean, something later in life, like something's up with the baby. You're going to blame it on the pink glass. Oh, yeah, the time that I fell. Yeah, don't you blame?
Starting point is 00:40:28 Didn't you drop a baby on its head? I dropped my niece. She turned out fine, totally fine. We're very blessed. But what if she'd have been finer? I don't know that she could get any better, quite honestly. Maybe it was good.
Starting point is 00:40:39 Maybe it was good then. She hit her head and it was a positive. I think about it all the time because she even lived with me last summer interning. And like pretty much every day like I would watch her, she was killing it. And I was like, wow, I didn't mess you up. No, you did that. You hit it just the right way. Maybe.
Starting point is 00:40:53 Maybe. Because I don't know how she could get any better. Boom. Amy did it, everybody. Wow. I watch people shotgun beers. Is it possible to shotgun water or is that made of something? You could shotgun a liquid death water.
Starting point is 00:41:06 What? Oh, beer? You can. But what if it's out of a bottle? Because you just kind of open up your throat. And I was trying that at home just to see if I could spit it up everywhere, like choked on it. Well, the whole point of a shotgun is to crack
Starting point is 00:41:18 like the bottom and then you crack the top because of the air bubbles. So you really need it in a can to be able to shotgun water. By never drinking. Here's what I missed out on. A couple of things. Beer pong.
Starting point is 00:41:28 Because I never wanted to play water pong. Losers. I don't want to be the loser that has to play water pong. Sure. Shotgunning. Because I think that would be a cool little trick. missed out on that and beer runs. Oh, what about keg stands?
Starting point is 00:41:43 Yeah, do you miss that? I never wanted to do a kegstand. I always felt like that that was weird. Yeah, why would a dude let another dude hold them up and hold them upside down? Weirdo? Yeah, you're right. That is weird. Who would do that?
Starting point is 00:41:52 Yeah, girls would do it or like little dudes. If you're a big dude doing kegstands, I was like, what's wrong with you? Why would you let other dudes hold you up? What do you mean? That's like a very feminine thing to do, let other dudes pick you up and hold you up. No, it's not. It's not. It's very manly to do it.
Starting point is 00:42:05 And also like funnaling. I don't feel like it's a thing. No, trust me, it is. And funneling looks like something else going on there. A beer bomb? Yeah. Beer bomb. They do the funneling.
Starting point is 00:42:12 So those are things, well, those last ones I didn't feel like I missed out on. But like dudes that were like being held up. I was like, yeah, you little man. So I never wanted to do that one. So I can't do water, though. Can't shotgun water? We can get you a liquid death can and you can shotgun water. So I have to open my throat, though, to let it go down.
Starting point is 00:42:29 Yeah, and the whole point of shotguning is you finish the entire can. And you have to cut a hole in the can and then you, like, it's not you don't just drink it like a plastic. Hugging. You don't chug. But what if I just pour this in and open my throat? No. It's a different experience. Okay.
Starting point is 00:42:44 Okay. Bring a couple in. I'll try it. Okay. Can you guys shotgun? Yeah. I'm not very good at it. I'm not great at it, but I can shotgun. Sounds like you want to do a cake stand little girl. You are crazy for calling cake stand a little girl thing.
Starting point is 00:42:56 When I would see guys do it and other guys holding them up, I'd be like, that's so weird. You let another dude like pick you up? I don't let dudes pick me up. But you wear a purse. No, I have a bag. I have a backpack. actually now. But no, I have a bag. Yeah. What's wrong with that? I mean, I'd rather a guy pick me up and let me chug some beer. There he is. You know, the guy pick
Starting point is 00:43:16 him up. That's right. There was this town, speaking of water, there was this town in Iowa whose water turned pink, the town's water. Imagine you turn your sink on and the water comes out and it's pink. That can't be good. I'm thinking that's blood. Oh, good point. Like somebody died in the water plant. I thought it was a birth announcement. It was a massive gender reveal. For the whole city. The issue stem from a filter problem. And officials say the water is safe for bathing, but they had them all drinking bottled water.
Starting point is 00:43:47 Like the toilet's pink. It looks like, I've like blood. I've injured myself. It looks like that. Yeah. The city is awaiting multiple tests to confirm safety. Hy-Via has donated bottled water to help. Frustration is growing as residents cope with ongoing water issues.
Starting point is 00:44:01 Yeah, your water is pink. It looks like, if I'll, if I go to the bar or I'm at a restaurant, I'll order like a cranberry and soda. Oh, yeah. Because it waters down the cranberry. It looks like cranberry soda comes out of everybody's sinks. CCTV with that story. Like if the city did say like, it's okay, it's safe, but it is pink.
Starting point is 00:44:20 Would you still drink? No. No. No chance. Yeah, we know it's not safe. We can see with our own eyeballs. It's not safe. There was also a guy.
Starting point is 00:44:28 He's been suffering from a mysterious illness that causes his body to feel hot when he's cold and cold when he touches anything hot. his name's Aiden, he's 22 years old. He has this neurological condition that causes him to feel burning sensations when he touches cold objects. It's just totally the opposite. And so right now they don't really know what's going on. He has exonal peripheral neuropathy, which is a nerve disorder. There are people who don't feel pain, a different kind of nerve disorder.
Starting point is 00:44:59 Now that doesn't mean they can't die. It doesn't mean they're not injured or things don't break. But like if they put their hand on a hot stove, they're like... Or they get punched in the face. There's nothing that hurts them. That's crazy. That they break, but they don't feel the pain. I know, that's rough.
Starting point is 00:45:12 I watch a TikTok about a guy who ate an entire airplane. What do you mean? A real airplane? It was a Cessna. Yep, he ate the entire thing over like a few years. What? Turns out his stomach digests metal. And to be funny, he slowly ate an entire airplane.
Starting point is 00:45:28 Like an old airplane. Tell me that ain't baller. I'm not believing. I don't believe it. His stomach digestes metal. known as Manajotou, Mr. E. A.
Starting point is 00:45:39 Reportedly took roughly two years to consume an entire Cessna 150 airplane. He did eat the plane over the two years as he disassembled it. He would reportedly
Starting point is 00:45:50 break the metal into smaller pieces. He wouldn't go up to and just bite off of it because that would hurt his teeth. But he had the ability, some weird ability for his stomach
Starting point is 00:45:59 to process and digest metal. And it's well documented. He ate an entire airplane That's the coolest thing I've ever heard That's the coolest thing I've ever heard You can have a whole career like that Eat all kinds of metal Yeah I just took a lot
Starting point is 00:46:11 Come see the man eat metal But it just took a lot The problem with that is He only doing a couple bites at a time But yeah no he ate the metal So Oh my gosh Are you watching it?
Starting point is 00:46:23 Yeah, did you go to it? He would eat bicycles, shopping carts televisions I'm talking about beds And then yeah Cessna 150 Is he rich? He's dead
Starting point is 00:46:31 And there we go Well, no, he was already older. He died at 57. Yeah, he died. Yeah. You can't eat metal, dude. He can't. I would say that if your stomach is able to process metal, there's a lot of stuff in your body that ain't going right.
Starting point is 00:46:47 Or that's not allowing it to either live to normal length or live way longer. But he, yeah, no, his. Yeah, I would say there's not a lot of nutrients in the metal. His digestive system was incredibly resilient, allowing him to consume up to 900 grams of metal per day. He started eating it at age nine. That's crazy. He could eat glass rubber too, like glass and rubber, but he couldn't eat bananas. Okay, this guy needed TikTok.
Starting point is 00:47:09 He died before TikTok was a thing. Really one of life's great mysteries. Why couldn't they have TikTok when he was alive? So rest in peace to Michael Lottito. What was his nickname? Bonjour. Mr. Eidol. Manage at all.
Starting point is 00:47:23 There he is. A win is a win. A win is a win. I don't care what you're saying. Yep, that's me. Clifford Taylor the fourth. You might have seen the skits, my basketball and college football journey, or my career in sports media.
