Sometimes you're just going to have spoilers here. Here's a voicemail from the radio show where Morgan was talking about a guy

possibly hitting on her. And the guy said, hey, baby, let's go home. What do you say? Let's go home. No, he said, hey, getting a little light start, are we? Yeah. You can hear that in this show. Yeah.

Here is a response. to that. I just wanted to say that in response to the guy leaving the gym with Morgan number two, I could see myself being one of those thinking I was being humorous, walking out of the gym, making eye contact with somebody, whether it was male or female, and just being, oh, a late start today, kind of a thing is if I'm done already, the day's already begun, where you've been, maybe it wasn't anything flirtatious or creepy at all, but that was just my take on it. Okay. You think it was a, it's flirting, though, right?

Yeah, there was direct eye contact I mean, we were in the parking lot It's not like we're like in the gym Yeah, just it could have gone a lot of other ways I feel like you could have been like hey Hope you have a good day I don't know, it's just the choice of words Well, the good news is too

This is always a fun development We actually have them on the phone right now The guy from the gym? Yeah Oh man I'm just kidding Oh dude I thought you were serious I was like this about to be awesome

Whoa No no no A guy in Florida says His guns saved his life because his house caught fire and his guns exploded, which woke him up. Oh, wow. Oh, that's scary. Crazy. What if a bullet?

Well, yeah, it didn't. The good news is it didn't. I was thinking, what if he got shot? I mean, what if the queen had balls? She'd be king. I know. I know. It was dumb for me to say that.

I'm just kidding. Who cares? You're right. A lot of people probably thinking that. A man says he's blessed to be alive after his house caught fire, and it was his guns exploding in the fire that woke him up. You know what Chris Jansen had to fire at his house? and I don't know if they've, I don't want to say too many details

that weren't put out there, but it wasn't guns, but, you know, something had happened and caught on fire. But, like, she just happened to wake up, I think,

his wife, Kelly. It was like smelling something. And then look down lower in like the basement or the level below where the bedroom is, boom, big fire.

Like, just happened to wake up in time to get everybody out. Yeah. I know that was only a story for a second, but that was a big deal. Chris told people,

thank God. God woke up my wife Kelly for her hearing the faint beat beep of the fire detector. It could have been very bad. This was not a little fire. It was a legit seven foot flame taller than me fire. It was melting my ceiling fan onto my ottoman fire. I like how he ends up with fire though. It's like, it's a crazy day fire. It's melting my couch fire. It is a seven foot fire fire fire.

He is a songwriter. He is. The guy uses the words. But yeah, it's guns went off. There were two high school teachers from Virginia arrested for being drunk in public when they were chaperoning a school trip. Oh yeah. You can't do that. Like being drunk in public is one thing. Sure. But then when you're with students and on school time. A pair of Athens area school district teachers were arrested during the Athens high school senior trip of Virginia Beach over the weekend.

Oh, they were at the beach? Chaparoning. Not all Virginia Beach is the beach. Oh, okay. Sorry. Well, I mean, now I'm understanding they weren't. Could have been at the beach, but. But they were out.

They were with the senior trip. They probably thought we can have a little bit here, a little bit there. A request made by the morning times to the Virginia Beach police to police to put. Department for the arrest reports was denied. They are, quote, I can confirm to you that no students were involved. The students were safe. They were all well looked after and completed the senior trip, which ended Sunday night. This did not involve students.

Students were not witnesses to it. Maybe they were just hanging out afterward. Yeah, I'm wondering what the details are here. Got a little drunk, got a little fun. It said students weren't witnessing to it. Yeah, because I think it was maybe an overnight type thing. But I guess if you're a chaperone for a school trip, you probably shouldn't drink the whole I'm not saying they're right.

But I'm not saying they're as wrong as this headline made it seem. Well, the headline, I was picturing them being at the aquarium during the day and they're like hammered. Picking it up. Throwing some back with the kids. On four things with Amy Brown, Amy talks to Caitlin Crosby, who is the founder of the giving keys. Are they still doing those? Yeah. They're doing well?

She's still doing them. Yeah, they've expanded their jewelry line more than just the keys. I had a giving key years ago. Yeah. She's on for all four things. You can hear it today. and she also has a book. How was that with her? I was really good. Like it's a, it's a kind of a mental health type episode. And May is

mental health awareness month, so fitting. Yeah. Yeah, she's really nice and had a lot of insight, sharing her life experiences and things she does too. What's that key about? What was that situation? Because I had one that said like friendship or something. Well, her company helps, their goal is to help end homelessness. And so they provide a lot to the homeless community, especially in the L.A. area. But yeah, she has a variety of keys that have special words on them. But now she has, like, bracelets and necklace. Like, she's got other types of necklace is the whole thing. But it started with her in, like, a hotel key. And she kind of just had this vision where she wanted to, yeah, start a business, but be able to give back. And

that is how it started. And it's grown since then. Speaking of L.A., someone was telling me that we should send lunchbox to the Cecil Hotel. Oh, yeah, because of the Netflix special. Oh, that's one where all the murders were. Yeah. I never watched the show. Was it all the murders or a murder? A lot. A lot.

And isn't it because it's on Skid Row? It is on Skid Row. Yeah. People booked that place by accident, not knowing it's on Skid Row? Well, I think that the pictures online definitely look a little nicer than it is, and it is a good rate. And so, like, in the documentary, you had people coming over maybe from the UK, and they book it online, and they're not familiar with what Skid Row means and the reviews. or they just kind of are like, oh, well, this seems like a great place to stay.

And then they get there and they're like, what in the world? It is very different than how it's portrayed online. So, yeah. And some people are just looking for, yeah, it's a good deal. Have you all seen it? No. I haven't seen the previews and I'm like, ah. Are you the only one that seen it?

Yeah, I've seen it. Yeah, I don't want to give anything away, but it's crazy. Caitlin was trying to watch it and I was like, not with me. Why? I didn't feel like being scared. Yeah. It's interesting, for sure. I mean, my old theory is like, my life's already messed up as it is.

Like, why do I want to escape and watch something even more messed up? Because that consumes me for, like, weeks, if I watch something like that. I mean, people listen to these crime murder podcasts. I used to, and I can't anymore. Really? I can't do it. I like, because a lot of them now don't have an ending. Like, any of the last couple that I've listened to,

because Caitlin and I are driving to Oklahoma or to Arkansas, if she picks, she'll pick a true crime podcast. For me, it's always something in history or it's about the office. I have like two kinds of podcasts I listen to. because I don't make her listen to a pardon my take and that's really the only podcast that I listen to every day. That or Razorback one that happens every day.

She probably don't want to listen to that. She's not big out of that. The Razorback Daily. So we'll pick podcasts we're going to be in the car for 8, 9, 10 hours, and I'll do my deal and she'll do hers and it's a true crime, but the last couple we've listened to, the final episode was like, and we still don't know. Look, why don't I just listen to nine episodes

of them tracking down a murderer, talking to relatives? So it's unsolved? And no closure, yeah. Okay. Re-listing to Unsolved Mysteries? No. No.

That's, yeah, that would be frustrating to not have a conclusion. I want to know beginning, middle, end. I don't want to know beginning middle. See you next time. Maybe if we have an update. There's no closure there. That's like not drinking the milk and I don't know with the cereal. I need the milk.

I just had a great bowl of cereal that has made that milk taste good. But sometimes there's like cold case stuff is really kind of interesting. Not to me. Okay. Only tell me when it warms up, baby. I didn't like gold. Trying to have a cold case. So this Cecil Hotel, they still murdering people there?

Is this old? It's not that there's one person murdering there. It's just a very... Can you get the murder rate? Closer to the ground level? Over the years, it just had an unfortunate string of events that have taken place from murders, suicide, stuff like that. Do you know what's also going to be weird and probably has happened?

I bet more people have booked the Seasel Hotel now because there's some notoriety of it from the show. Right. Is this still up and running? And they try, I'm pretty sure. And they still, like, I think, yeah, if they visit, then it's content for their social media. To be like, look at me. I'm at the.

Well, I go visit and be like, I'm staying a week here. I get the heck out after a picture. So are we sending it in lunchbox? No, I don't think so. We don't want them to die. No. Yeah, I mean, they'll be open again for business October 2021. Oh, are they renovating?

It's called Hotel Cecil. But it looks fine. It does look fine. That's what, that's the deceiving part. It was built in 1924. Mm-hmm. Click that one that goes, how many people have died? at Cisville Hotel. I think it started because someone

died even during the construction of it. 16 deaths. Have a current room around the establishment. 12 of which are suicides, though, is what it says. Oh, yeah. Twelve, that's not even guys, suicide. Well, or drug overdose stuff. Like, it's not

murder, but if you think, like, you know, if I was writing a movie, I would say that the spirit is making people commit suicide. No, but this is like from the news, not from the movie. Oh, I know. But what I'm saying is like, you say suicides. That's different, but could be a cool story to be like, well, there could be something. They went in

normal, and then they didn't make it out. Like for a movie. Someone's right there. Yeah, yeah. Oh, you're saying like a ghost took them over. Right. I mean, that's still possible. I'm not watching that. Okay. I started watching something called The Patriot on Amazon. The Mel Gibson movie? It's a TV show? It's a series.

I've only got one and a half episodes, and it's pretty good, though. I watch it up to Caitlin falls asleep. It's about a guy who, like, works with the government, and it's like, I don't know. What does he do? It's pretty good. Here it is, Patriot. It's called Patriot. What's the, it's that old?

Dang, I had no idea. It's 91% positive. How old is it? From what year? It says, an intelligence officer. Here's what it says. An intelligence officer takes an undercover assignment in Iran, but PTSD spells, incompetency in the federal government, the challenge of keeping his cover,

spark an onslaught of debacles and puts his missions in danger. Who's the actor? I didn't know that was 2015. That sucks. The actor is Michael Dorman. Why does it matter to you what year it came out? It's over. I watched the two seasons and I'm done.

I probably canceled it off. Oh, you thought more was coming. Yeah, I don't want to end in like these stupid podcasts. Well, we'll see you next season. There's not another season. I know. That's like we invested in that space show and then now it's not coming back and we're not going to know about Mars. Remember?

What was it called? Away with... Hillary Swank. It's fine. But they did land on Mars. And then you're like, oh, here we go. Yeah, we don't know if they're going to get home. See you next season.

And then they're like, It was never a next season. We got canceled. What a joke. It was only 60% positive on Rotten Tomatoes. Oh. Anything you like to talk about? No, not that I can think of.

Anything on your mind? No. I mean, there's a lot on my mind, but, yeah. Eddie? No. My son had a really good baseball game yesterday. How'd that go? Yeah, they put him at Pitcher, which I was real nervous.

Does he actually throw? No, he just stands behind the coach that pitches, but he's the first one. I mean, if it's a straight shot, It's going to go right to him. But he got three outs, boom, boom, boom, caught a pop fly in the middle there. And it's like, it was really proud of him. Is he getting to be a better ball player? Yes.

Yes, because him and his brother, our foster son, called him his brother. That's crazy. They just practice all day. As soon as they get home from school, they go in the backyard. I bought him a bucket of balls and they pitch to each other and they hit. And now the backyard, my fence is a home run if it goes over that. So they play all day. And then I take them to the field, practice pop flies.

So they're just working, man. and I get to see it every single game. They're getting better. It's really cool to see. That's cool. Big news on my child front. What? Stanley got accepted the dog. Yeah.

That's exciting. He passed the test. Yeah, he didn't give a crap. But he was there for like five hours. They observed him, and so now he gets to go back today, and we're leaving to go to Oklahoma this weekend for a couple days, and now we can just send him over there. You can go chill with his friends.

And then we'll have somebody stay with them. We have people stay at our house when we're gone. They'll stay with them at night, and he'll go back the next day. So Eller can't go yet because she is not spayed. She's not old enough to be spayed yet. Or maybe she's just old enough, but she has not been spayed yet. So that's good news from yesterday. Lunchbox is happening with you.

Oh, man, not a lot. I signed back up for soccer, so I'm excited to get back out there now that I'm vaccinated. Like, not your kid, you? Yeah, me. No, no, not my kid. My kid is not playing yet. If your kid's not a soccer star, we'd be pissed. Yes.

Wow, that's strong word. Well, yeah, that's what you have kids for. To make it to the pros. You didn't make to the pros, so you've got to live vicariously through them. Okay. See, I truly do think that parents out there, some of them really believe this. Like, in my kids' baseball league, like, there are some parents that push their kids so hard and yell at them and get frustrated when they mess up because, I guess for some reason,

they just want them to be pros? I don't know what it is, but there's so much pressure on these kids trying to perform out there. Do you get upset at your kids ever for not playing well? I get disappointed that they don't have a good game, but I don't take it out on them or yell. at them. I just next day, I let them have the night to decompress. And the next day, I'm like, all right, what are we working on? What happened last game? What did you mess up on? And we fix it. That's it. But I do, when I drop them off, I say, all right, play hard and then don't forget, have fun. Because it is.

They're just having fun. That's it. It's the main goal. God, I hope when we have kids, did they get her athletic ability, not mine? Y'all are both athletic. Well, you had, you had some athletic ability. It was late developing. It was more hustle than. and it was a lot more hustle and But look man, you didn't have Like she's A plus athlete Her family are all athletes

But you didn't have anyone to play a ball with True But I was also small until later You know My foster kid's really small and I'm telling He's so, so good and he's getting better Because I spend time with him Yeah

I just wish my dad would come back And I'd turn into an athlete now Yeah, I ask Bobby how much time is that? I'm just saying it's not in his DNA that he's not a good athlete It could be You just didn't have the reps that you should have had. I got to be a pretty good athlete about 17.

Pretty good. And then I get- Hang, Amy. I'm joking. No, I'm still okay now. I can still play a little bit. You are good. That's what I'm thinking.

I just get more sore and then I stay injured longer when I do get injured. That's the age, man. I've had a calf injury for like a year and I can't fix it. I have a shoulder injury from when I fell on dancing with stars. They're like, you have to go into surgery if you're going to have that fix. And I'm not doing that. Have you used the birthday present I gave you? Not yet.

That will help your legs. It hasn't opened up, though. No, that was your Christmas present. Oh, I have used the birthday present. Okay, on your legs? What is the Cairo thing? Compression. They're compression.

Yes, we have. They're actually laying out in the bedroom right now. Oh, cool. Okay, good. Socks? No, Eddie, I'm talking. Shut up. Not compression socks.

I basically do Zillow on gifts. You Google gifts? Yeah, you do. I know you do. Oh, my gosh. How much did he spend on me? Not that. How much do I need to spend next time to make sure that I am giving an appropriate gift back?

Well, the Christmas present, I for sure hope that you do get to use because I think that'll be good. I want to do that for myself one day. And we give me some kind of like brain thing for Christmas. You go into a doctor's office and they put a chip in you. Wow. That's cool. It's something where they like study your brain or something, right? Well, they do some sort of like, it's like a brain treatment that can be very healing to certain traumas.

How much did that run you? It's expensive. You Google it. She told me. You called them. She told me. I was like, how much is this? I didn't know if I told you.

Yeah, kind of you did. Oh, okay. Well, I probably also didn't want you to like throw, just be like, oh, what's this weird brain thing? I'm not going to go. I'm like, look, if you're not going to go, tell me, I'll go. I've actually been thinking about it a lot, but I want to wait until it's not like, till everything's like normal again. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Normalish again. Is it an expired, does it? I better not, no. Ray, anything going on in your life? Yeah, the only thing I can think of, the pool is back open in my apartment. It's been awesome because usually I have to take the naps and the house and it kind of sucks the way the sun comes in, first world problems. But now I get to do it pool side.

but the only bad part is I walk through the lobby. We might have one of the most productive lobbies in Nashville. I mean, everybody's doing business at home. Zoom calls, boom. People are on like power calls. I walk through my swim trunks and I'm like, hey, guys, I go to the pool. I think everybody thinks that I'm on unemployment or something. Because I just take a 45-minute nap and then head back up.

Your apartment complex is pretty busy down there. Yeah. But I think people always thought I'd go out to work out at 11. People would be like, do you have a job? It's like my job just earlier than yours. Your day ended already. Sometimes I would be out, yes, after the show, like if I'd go to a trail or maybe to the gym and there's all these other people here and I look around and I'm even like, what do y'all do? Like, why are you here?

I'm not judging the same thing. But then I'm like, oh, well, I mean, I'm here and I've worked a full day. All right, we're going to wrap this. You guys have a great day. This has been the post show.
