Starting point is 00:03:00 returning this time without animals, which is awesome. I don't like the animals being used. I also like the circus. No animals. So other than like an elephant or a lion missing, it's still going to be watching guys do tricks and stuff. Hopefully it still is entertaining. I just don't like the animals.
Starting point is 00:03:16 I don't like what they do. There's no reason an elephant should be traveling like that all across the United States. An elephant shouldn't be posting up in Cleveland for four days. And then moving over to Pittsburgh the next day. You know, it's a freaking elephant. But I hope they're able to make it. as a circus without the big animals.
Starting point is 00:03:33 So that's a story there I wanted to mention. Because I remember when they were shutting down, I was like, good, because you can't use animals like that. But I also want to say, I hope it works without the animals. So maybe some of these other things that use animals can go, there's a life after this. We can continue to do this. I made a lot of notes here,
Starting point is 00:03:50 and it's hard for me to sometimes understand what I wrote. I wrote offended sore losers. Now let me think about this You see I wrote that Offended You were offended I don't know but I gotta think of where I was Something must have happened
Starting point is 00:04:08 What would I be offended at? Did they say, did you get wind That they said something about you On the podcast? No I know what it is I'm offended for the sore losers I wish I'd have written four
Starting point is 00:04:18 That's it I'm offended for the sore losers I saw a graphic for CMA Fest And it listed like five different things Five different shows that were happening And the sore losers doing something there. And it was like the smallest, tiniest one.
Starting point is 00:04:31 And I was like, the three of the four things you have up there, the sore losers have so much, way bigger following. What are they doing? I don't know. Now I'm offended. What, how? I was just offended because even they had like a couple artists on the same thing. And I was like, uh, our show and then our like kid show, sore losers is bigger than that.
Starting point is 00:04:52 That's stupid. The more people are going to come for that than Harvey Wilson in his three-core guitar song. Harvey Wilson was on that graphic. That wasn't who it was. I don't even remember who it was. it was. Wow. But I was offended because if they wanted, I just felt the disrespect, I guess because
Starting point is 00:05:04 I related to the disrespect. So just no, boys, I felt disrespected for you. Thank you, man. I was offended that you guys were Lika also ran. It was like, oh, yeah, also we're going to have the sore losers. Where did you see this graphic? I don't know. I still haven't even seen this graphic.
Starting point is 00:05:17 Don't remember. It's pretty cool. We have a graphic. Well, you guys didn't make it. You were on one and it was tiny. Y'all are like that eye test where you have to squint. Oh. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:27 You were a 2020 vision. The little little letters. Yeah. Dang. But when are you doing, say it now. Lunchbox, what are you guys doing? Where? It's June 4th.
Starting point is 00:05:36 We have not been, I think it's 4 to 445. Where? At the convention center here in Nashville. It's right, right, it's called the convention. I don't know what you call it. Yeah, music city center. Well, we have time to figure it out. Because I've done a couple, I've done a couple panels there, probably in the same
Starting point is 00:05:50 spot on that little stage inside the music city center. That'd be good. But they were like, hey, come out. Wenzelow Winsloonian is going to play two of their songs. They hit top 90. back in 1994. And I'm like, the sore losers
Starting point is 00:06:01 is below that? What the crap? Yeah. Anyway, I was offended for you. Thank you, dude. Appreciate that. I'm offended for you all too. Because that's a shot at us.
Starting point is 00:06:08 The whole family here. Let's see, what else? I have mesh panties written down. Oh, tell me more. Well, be a little more detailed on that one. Mesh. Hold on.
Starting point is 00:06:19 Mesh. Pantus. I know what it is. Okay. I wrote this down before the show started. We have a client that is really good about they remove the mesh from shorts, right? And so, you know, you wear the swamming trunks and you wear the little meshy stuff.
Starting point is 00:06:38 Oh, yeah, yeah, the liner stuff. Yes. Liner inside. Her men, the boys. Yes. And so I'll read about that if you guys have any of the copy points. And it's not a commercial, but these shorts are so good. But I remember being a kid and I would put on these shorts with the little mesh thing.
Starting point is 00:06:53 And there were two different times. I remember thinking, oh, my God, did I actually put on somebody's panties? because I forgot that you don't put on underwear you just put the... And I would be like, oh my... Did I actually put on the maze? And I had these like mild breakdowns where I was like, oh God, I got to hide.
Starting point is 00:07:07 And then I'm like, oh, this is the mesh inside the shorts. Then as you get to be an adult, it does kind of like rub your skin in a weird way. But the company's called Fair Harbor, and they do such a great job. It's basically summertime. But I looked for your kid's shoe out there. Yeah, a crock.
Starting point is 00:07:22 There's a missing crock out there. You looked? Yeah, we're at my house right now. and Eddie's kid left a crock. Did you look in the pool? No, my wife said look around the pool in the bushes. I think one of the boys, as a joke, threw it in one of the bushes. And she says it should be back behind the pool.
Starting point is 00:07:39 I didn't walk over there. I've looked. I've seen nothing. One time I walked down the yard and just saw a small backpack. And I was like, huh, I don't know how a backpack randomly ended up here. And I took a picture and I said, Eddie, he goes, oh, there it is. Captain America, we've been looking for that one. I guess his kid and left it in the garage.
Starting point is 00:07:54 But yeah, Fair Harbor is awesome. And so you guys check it out. Just go to Fair Harbor Clothing.com, I think it's the website, and just put in the code Comfort 22, and you get a deal there. But it's great shorts, and I just remember having the mesh and freaking out about it. And then now I don't like the mesh at all. Because of that? Yeah, so I don't like wearing board shorts if I'm just going to be in the water,
Starting point is 00:08:13 but I will wear board shorts more than I will wear swimming trunks with the mesh. Are board shorts still in, Amy? Good question. Yes. Those are the long ones. I don't know about in, but I had to use them for different episodes of things. Okay. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:25 I feel like shorter swim trunks are in. Yeah. Like more of the, like short shorts for guys. Short shorts in general are. Yeah. Those are more in. So like the swimsuits, like it's not, you should just own it. Okay.
Starting point is 00:08:37 Unless you're actually doing something athletic on the water and you can't wear short shorts. Right. Like surfing and stuff. Well, or anything. Wakeboarding. Your scrote will get damaged by the waves or when you fall. That's why they had me wearing these long shorts when I was doing water stuff. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:51 Meat. I wrote down meat. Just the word meat. Yes. but I know this one because I wrote on Twitter last night, and I'll read it to you directly. And I meant this. I was talking to Eddie last night.
Starting point is 00:09:01 He was like, Caitlin had him feeling very well. I was like, hey, you want to send some food over? We're near your house. And I was like, yeah, we're good. I said, I'm going to, I said, unless you want to send over some Roots Chris or go pick up some. And had a little laugh and moved on.
Starting point is 00:09:13 Yeah, because that was a joke, right? But I just ordered it myself and got me a steak last night from Roots Chris from Uber Eats. And I love A1 steak sauce. It's the greatest for steak. I don't care how good the steak is. And I don't care people like, well, if you got to put A1 on it, it must not be bull crap. I don't care if it's the best steak. It gets better with A1.
Starting point is 00:09:32 And so I wrote, there's not a single piece of meat that mustard or A1 won't improve. Prove me wrong. And I got some bacon. But sometimes you put bacon on a state, put A1 on there. You put A1 on bacon? Oh, yeah. Interesting. Like dinner bacon?
Starting point is 00:09:46 Bacon on the, yeah, of course. Never done that. There's just not a meat that I don't think A1 or mustard makes better. Mustard stop. Oh, mustard makes everything worse. Well, that's to you guys, right? I know. You said prove you wrong.
Starting point is 00:09:58 Right, but you can't because there isn't one to me. Well, my Twitter would say ketchup. Makes every food better. Well, this is not Amy's Twitter segment. But I got people coming at me. And then Rodd it goes, if you eat your steak medium will, you're disqualified from the conversation as well. Now, I like my steak more than medium.
Starting point is 00:10:17 I don't like it pink. In any way, I don't like it. And it doesn't make me wrong. I just have different. taste buds in you. That's your preference. That's right. A lot of people came at me pretty hard. Yeah, I want it well done. And then Bdub, who's my friend who works on our Seattle station, said, wait, what? A solid steak needs zero sauce. No, a solid steak gets better with sauce, and it's now a great steak. So you've never had a steak where you're like, I actually don't need to put
Starting point is 00:10:41 anything on this. No, no, no, I've had a steak that tastes great without steak sauce. But you still put steak sauce? It can taste better with it. It just is better. In my mind, no meat, There's not a meat that's good enough that doesn't, if you put it on, it doesn't make it better. Right. But there's not a meat where it just is naturally amazing when you cook it. Even before you get the steak, it's prepared with seasoning and butter and spices and like all these things. Great point. Stuck on that.
Starting point is 00:11:07 And so you're getting it already altered. It's not like your own sauce and seasoning. Right. It's maybe marinated and this or that. So it's not pure. You're not taking meat straight from a cow and putting it on the grill. Man, like a rib-eye steak. But still, that fat.
Starting point is 00:11:23 Just the fat alone gives the whole steak. So when you grill, you don't put anything on your stuff. I do, but I've also had one without anything on it, and I'm like, it's pretty darn good. But pretty darn good is not great. It can be with different flavors added to it. For me, my flavor is a one or mustard. Not on a steak, but on any sort of lunch meat, sandwich meat. Actually, if you marinate a steak with mustard, it's really good, too.
Starting point is 00:11:49 A plus good answer. I'll take that as well. Okay, let's move on. I think that's all my notes. I have, oh, Ryan Charles is coming in on Monday's show. Even Amy walked in this morning. It was like, new boo goofing. I can't stop.
Starting point is 00:12:01 That's all we know. New boofing goofing. Oh, you were watching a bunch of his clips last night. Yeah, I mean, I went on YouTube and ended up just watching so many videos. I even went back to some stuff he posted from 2014. And he's like a cowboy from Wyoming who rapped. Yeah, his new boot goofin one, the one on YouTube with Atlantic Records. it's got 13 million views.
Starting point is 00:12:23 Wow. Some of his earlier stuff, it's only got 80,000, but now that, I mean, I watched a few, so I added to it last night. But this song, I mean, obviously, people online are into it. I'm into it. I mean, Caitlin found it. It was like, hey, this is my song.
Starting point is 00:12:40 Yeah. And I was like, what's that? She sent it to me on Instagram, DM, and I read it or I watched it. I was like, New Boo Boo! That's funny. She goes, yeah, it's my jam. Are they TikTok into this? Like, is this a TikTok?
Starting point is 00:12:50 I don't know. Hey, pap off. Do they do the TikTok on this? I haven't seen anyone. Mike, have you? I haven't seen any. We need to start that then. No, we don't.
Starting point is 00:12:58 What do you mean? We don't need to start any dance. We're the old... We're the old... Dang, we can't start a viral video where you were the first? Well, that song's been out for a while. Yeah, but you're the first that makes up a choreographed dance with my new boots.
Starting point is 00:13:12 If you're over like 40 and you're dancing on TikTok and you weren't already a dancer... Well, lunch is screwed. Unless you're Walker Hayes. somehow he has made it. Oh yeah, what about Walker? But he's with his, it's what he does to bond with his kids. Oh, he can bond alone in the living room. If he were doing that by himself, it wouldn't have gone viral.
Starting point is 00:13:30 Right. His daughter doing that. Yes. The whole story. You're saying I need my son in my videos. Yeah, do that. Okay. Good luck.
Starting point is 00:13:37 Because it'll be about your son more than it's about you. You got it. Yeah. So he's going to be in Ryan Charles and perform New Boot Goofin on Monday show. And I think he's going to perform it hip-hop with a track. that'll be interesting but it'll be awesome we hope we think it will be so there you go let's see what else
Starting point is 00:13:57 speaking to TikTok Eddie TikTokers are accused of starting forest fires for views that's horrible I guess I'll be completely candid today I was like I need a reel for my Instagram I'm like what can I do and I was thinking like what can I like create that could be a really cool video last night I was at a baseball game
Starting point is 00:14:14 and I thought about arguing with the Empire just to have a viral video because that's what people are doing right now like a friend of ours posted one where it's like wow this is crazy at the baseball game i thought about like hey i could really get in an argument with the empire and start a viral video let's just say you put it on instagram you make a hundred bucks off of it which is good so that's worth it to you to get and to embarrass yourself front of everybody friends family your kids for a hundred bucks no i would tell them they'd be like guys it's just for instagram like you guys are you guys are in on it right but my kids and my family with the people that mattered would even maybe my kids baseball team like
Starting point is 00:14:46 their parents why don't you coach then you could argue and it would at least be... I can't coach. Oh, argue with a kid. Oh, get a fight with a kid. No, that's why I can't coach. Go after I'm in the parking line. Jump him.
Starting point is 00:14:59 Humaria Dolly Asgard is in trouble over one of the videos. The 11 second clip showed her walking down a hill covered in flames in slow motion while a trending pop song mentions setting fire. Oh, no. That's... Fire her ups wherever I am. She's in trouble because she's been accused of setting the fire on Magnolia Hill's National Park. Where they shot the footage.
Starting point is 00:15:18 That's from Vice. I mean, my sister's dealing with the fire right now. That's crazy. Yeah. Like, you can't do that. A man fakes a pardon from Trump to try to escape charges, which that would be a tough thing to fake. How do you fix that? Is it a certificate? You just make a, turn out a certificate?
Starting point is 00:15:34 I don't know. Control P. Download it on the internet. Make it on Microsoft Word. Your bank accounts frozen by authorities because you've applied for two payroll protection plan loans. You're running various scams. What you do? Well, this guy.
Starting point is 00:15:48 Alexander, last name seems hard to pronounce, so am I going to try. He faked a pardon from former President Donald Trump to make them unfreeze his accounts from the Tampa Bay Times. He's being held without bail and faces up to 30 years in prison if convicted. He's in a lot of trouble anyway,
Starting point is 00:16:00 so now he's doing the old hell marry just trying stuff. So I felt that. Why not? I felt that. Let's see. This waiter wins $285,000 using the lot of numbers
Starting point is 00:16:10 that he heard years ago. Imagine winning $300,000. That'd be amazing. I've asked lunch about this before, but you went $300,000. What do you do? Oh. $300,000 right now.
Starting point is 00:16:20 What do you do? Okay. Well, first of all, we're making a donation out of a percentage of it for sure. And then we're probably putting it. What percentage though? I need numbers here. Okay. You got $300,000.
Starting point is 00:16:31 So after taxes, you're going to have pride, let's just say, $185. Okay. 185. All right. No, she's sour-faced. That's not a lot of money. That's like when a 13-year-old finds out about taxes the first time. I know.
Starting point is 00:16:46 Wait, what? Okay. So 18,000. $1,500, we're donating to the orphanage in Haiti. Okay, go ahead. Where my kids lived. And then we are probably just putting it into our mortgage. Wom-W-W-W-W-W-T.
Starting point is 00:16:59 It's actually not W-W-W-W-T-W-W? No, that's what I would do. Would you restructure it so your payments are lower every month or just pay it down? Probably whatever we needed to do, whatever would make the month. I'd probably talk to someone that knew. Yes. Okay, so that's different. Paying it off earlier is different than having smaller payments because you can do both.
Starting point is 00:17:18 Yeah, I want to do whatever. I want to restructure it or do whatever. I'd have to talk to an expert to figure out what's the best way to get rid of our mortgage faster with this money. Because then ultimately, if you get rid of your mortgage, then that's the extra money in your pocket every month that you put towards the mortgage. And then, I mean, this is the ultimate goal. I would encourage you, as your financial advisor, to just put it towards the mortgage
Starting point is 00:17:41 and don't take a lower payment every month. Well, whatever. So boom. Because you're probably not going to live there all your whole life anyway. Sell it. All that money you just paid down. It's going to be interest that you're not having to pay back in on these payments. You know, that's where they get you.
Starting point is 00:17:54 Pay interest. Yeah. All right. Lunchbox, you win $185,000 cash right now. You can't buy an island for $185,000. What do you buy? Oh, probably a nice car. I don't know if I can get a good Lambo for that much.
Starting point is 00:18:10 I'd have to look, but I would look in that direction. Maybe. You'd probably get a Lambo, right? You could. Are they? But, yeah, I don't know. want a cheaper one. But then you got to pay for insurance, you got to pay for gas, you got to pay the upkeep. If you can't afford the upkeep, don't buy a Lamborghini. Right.
Starting point is 00:18:23 If you have to worry about paying for the upkeep on a car, you shouldn't buy the car. I'm not going to wreck it, so I'm not going to have upkeep. Yeah, insurance, but I mean, it's going to be hard to find one for under $200,000. That's good. That's what I'm saying. So I don't know if I would do that. So I would be in no man's land with that. I mean, you want a Lambo, but you can't afford it. You got $185,000. But even if you have $300,000 and Lambrough was 200, you still shouldn't buy a Lamborghini. Because insurance, because gas, because, he's buying his bike to work. I know.
Starting point is 00:18:53 And because, just the general upkeep of it. Yeah, but a lamb, okay. Well, insurance doesn't cost $100,000. An oil change for a Lamborghini costs $1,000. Oh, my gosh. Yikes. That's ridiculous. My point is, I know that.
Starting point is 00:19:07 We Googled it. Yeah, we have the internet. I don't have a Lamborghini. I was like, okay. But it does. It costs $1,000. Geez. Whatever. Okay. I like that attitude. Whatever. Like, he just doesn't seem like someone that's into cars. I mean, he drives a 2005 ultimatized, had it forever. He rides his bike to work.
Starting point is 00:19:23 He's not into cars. He's not into cars. But all of a sudden, he gets money. Okay. Status. That's a better way to. Okay. When I pull up at a restaurant in a Lambo, guess what happens? There's always a table available for someone in a Lambert. I don't think that's true. I mean, honestly, then what you... I can't make the bet because we can't prove it. But I don't think that's true if you pull up in a Lamborghini and the restaurant's full, they just give you a table. All right. So here's what you do. If it's all about status is you take. is you take a percentage of that money that you just got
Starting point is 00:19:46 and every time you go out to eat you like rent a Lambeau and then you've got your status and you don't have the upkeek that's a waste of money Amy Well if it were me I'd probably buy a boat I know lunchbox to do that with millions You get a hot tub boat that'd be good But the upkeep on a boat
Starting point is 00:20:04 If I just had just well I can afford that without this money So I'm not worried about that But I'm saying if I had that extra money I would just buy the boat And then be fine with the upkeep Yeah, okay But at one point, Eddie was trying to convince me to go on halves on a boat with him. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:18 But you'd pay more. I don't want to go on halves on. What do you mean Bobby would pay more? He would just have to. That would be the right thing to do. But that's not the right thing to do if you own half the boat. I guess if we split it up like stocks. No, no.
Starting point is 00:20:30 We would do it the right way. 50-50. That would be terrible because Eddie's kids would destroy the boat. That's true. There'd end up being a mailbag into the... And it'd be like, hey Bobby, what's the do you? My friend's got four kids. It's really crapping up the boat here.
Starting point is 00:20:43 Yeah. I mean, sharing it would be difficult. Or Bobby would just have to realize a lot of times he'd be going out with four kids all the time. Or you take it different. Yeah, we have a calendar. I know, but I just feel like y'all would have to... Anyway, it's not going to be a thing. It's not.
Starting point is 00:20:57 So, y'all are not doing it. We're not buying it. And then it's like, we were talking about what kind of boat, just having friendly conversation. And I was like, you know, if I was going to get a boat, I'd probably get like a water sports boat. Not a pontoon? That's what he wants. I want a party barge. You can tube on a pontoon.
Starting point is 00:21:13 Yeah, like this. I don't care about tubing. I want to wakeboard, wake skate, or that kind of stuff. Water sports. Yes, and I don't want to be on a pontoon. Really? Cruise with it.
Starting point is 00:21:27 Some of these have like grills on them and you can barbecue while you're on the boat. Join a boat club. I did that. I'm good. Every day you really want it. Somebody else really wants to do it. Really? Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:21:38 Well. A new study suggests that pugs face such serious health conditions. They can no longer be considered a typical dog from a health perspective. I completely relate with Stanley, the Bulldog, is that he's always sick with something and he's not even doing anything to get sick. They're just built bad because they have spent generations being bred weirdly, incestually. It's just straight up, their family treats as a trunk sometimes. Or if not that far from it. Poor little pugs, their noses.
Starting point is 00:22:11 They can't breathe. Same with bulldogs. I mean, same with bulldogs. That's their problem. That's why they go in the water. If he falls in a pool, he drowns because his nose is so close to his face. He's struggled. He doesn't know he struggles.
Starting point is 00:22:20 He's just his own life, but he's had surgery on his nose to where he can breathe a little more, where he would snores so loud. But now he still snores in an eight, that's not a 10. Where if it's getting, he likes to hang out with us at night. And he'll lay beside the bed, but he gets so loud when he falls asleep that he can't even lay there anymore because Kailen's like, I can't, I can't watch TV. I like to read the words because I don't, I don't hear very well anyway. that didn't matter to me. I like the close caption. But for her,
Starting point is 00:22:46 who can actually hear like a normal human, he's like, I can't hear the TV. So, yeah, it's, it's, and he's starting to be pretty good. Like, he doesn't get overly excited now with every person that comes over.
Starting point is 00:22:56 It's people come over last night for a little bit and he just went up. Hey, what's up? I see one treat? He goes, yeah, he checked out on them, came with me. By the way, his book comes out, like he wrote it.
Starting point is 00:23:07 Yeah, his book. In June, like June 14th, I think, finally, the kid's book, Stanley in his first day of school. More people would rather sleep with their pet than their spouse. I wouldn't for two reasons. One, I just would, and then two, again, he's so loud.
Starting point is 00:23:19 Yeah. It's almost to me calming, though, because that is on a time. Yeah. I could sleep with my cat, not my dog. Yeah, a cat doesn't make a lot of noise. I used to sleep with my dog in the bed, dusty. And then when I wanted to not be in the bed,
Starting point is 00:23:35 he was trained to be in the bed, so he would be miserable not being in the bed. Wouldn't he kick you in the nuts, too? He'd have bad dreams, yeah. Yeah. But he'd sleep between my knees anyway. So he popped me then. I'd be like, oh, now I go back. Let's see. A stomach doctor reveals how often you should go to the bathroom.
Starting point is 00:23:51 Now, I have been to many doctors. I have a lot of different issues with my stomach. And for a while until I got help, and then until I started drinking this calm, C-A-L-M has magnesium and it helps me a little bit,
Starting point is 00:24:08 I would go to the bathroom once every four or five days, which can't healthy because I would eat three times a day. And that math. Doesn't add that that. And I'd be like, how am I not wider? Just from the mere amount of food, like what goes in. And so I just would go four or five times a day. I do things now.
Starting point is 00:24:27 A week. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Four, five, that'd be awful. No, sorry. You wouldn't go. You would go four or five times a day? No, no, no.
Starting point is 00:24:33 I would go once every four or five days. There you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Yeah. So one expert has said, most adults go anywhere from a few times a day,
Starting point is 00:24:43 which is normal. You can go once a day, but if you're like me about the limit before there starts to be like... Problems? Yeah, it's like once every three days or so. But I'd go three or four days and just be like, well, guess that's it. Guess that food's just going to live there now.
Starting point is 00:24:59 It just got an address. That can't be good. Moved in. Oh, it was terrible. But now I try to eat not a lot of gluten, because that helps. And sugar crushes my insides, but I love it. I can't get enough of that. How did you say you ate last night?
Starting point is 00:25:14 Well, I'll really bring that up here. But I had a whole box of gluten-free donut holes. A whole box. Yeah, can't fell asleep early. And so I... He went to town? You know, that's an expression used. I just kept going back for more.
Starting point is 00:25:29 I didn't eat at one setting. I had three or four. And I was like, you know, I was working on a little something I was writing a little bit for the shows coming up in June. And then I was like, yeah, I could probably use a couple more. And then I was like, well, I have half of them already. I'll just eat a few more. And then by that point, there's only a couple left. I was like, I don't want to leave a box in there.
Starting point is 00:25:43 If she goes in there, he has a couple in their end. So I just cleared out the evidence. I see how that happened. Lunchbox wants to bring up that Eddie does not follow the rules. And if this is true, they'll have to be a double punishment. Go ahead, lunchbox. Yeah, Eddie is like the kid that you tell him he has to do something. And he's like, no, I'm not going to do it.
Starting point is 00:25:58 You're not going to do anything to me because, I mean, I believe Bobby said the deadline was Wednesday for Eddie to bark like a dog in public. And here we are on Thursday. And there is no barking. It says audio. Yeah, this is you saying you have till next Wednesday, and this was last week, and we have the audio of you saying the deadline. Okay, here we go ahead, Ray. Eddie has to go and bark like a dog in a public place until they tell him to stop. Okay.
Starting point is 00:26:23 Scooby now we're just kind of talking about this briefly. I think what he should do is have to go do it not on the air and just record it. You can be with them or whatever, and then you just have to do it until someone comes to you says, sir, would you please stop? Today's Wednesday, May 11th you have until next Wednesday. Oh my gosh. Why didn't you do it? I don't know. I forgot, I guess.
Starting point is 00:26:39 I mean, Bobby, that is just like him saying, hey, you know what, Bobby? That's true. You can't do anything to me. Like, Eddie, what would you do if you punished your kid and said you have to do something by next week and they didn't do it? I guess that's where I got it from because I tell them all the time, too, like, hey, go clean your room and they don't do it. So maybe that's kind of. This is a deadline. But if you do this and you break the rule, that means everybody else could be like, well, Eddie got to break the rule.
Starting point is 00:27:01 Not a bad. That's good. My gosh. I don't know if I'm going to do show prep tonight, guys. Yeah. I don't know if I'm going to, you know, I don't know if I'm coming on time because Eddie didn't come into. I mean, why not? I forgot. This sets a bad example.
Starting point is 00:27:12 Lunchbox, what do you think the punishment should be? Well, I mean, I think we have to jump right to the face tattoo. I mean, that was the third. Don't be dramatic. Well, that is the third punishment. That is the third punishment. Yeah, it's not a real one, but it's a temporary one. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:26 So something has to happen because you're right. Why would anyone else follow a rule or a deadline if you just disregard a rule or a deadline? Don't you agree? If it's not you, don't you agree? Yeah, I mean, I haven't really thought about it, but yeah, I guess so. Like, we don't have a very normal job, but I would compare this to, like, you know, a boss gives you an assignment. Like, he needs, like, an Excel doc all figured out by a certain day for a presentation. And you just show up to the presentation and you're like, oh, dang, I forgot about that.
Starting point is 00:27:53 Yes, I agree. That is the job. Because, I mean, barking like a dog, it seems silly. But when you put it in perspective of what we do, it's, I'm going to empower you a little bit here, lunchbox. Oh, I get to come up with the punishment. So we will order a temporary face tattoo that will have to last for a few days. Or he can choose from another punishment that you create that will go over either tomorrow or Monday. Okay?
Starting point is 00:28:16 So you have the two. But he has to do one of them. And he has to still do this bit too. I still got to bark like a dog? Yes. You didn't do it. Of course. You don't just get out of it.
Starting point is 00:28:24 You literally broke a rule and then you didn't even do the next rule. I mean, I didn't even know. I truly was like, oh, I don't know. Lunchbox will remind me and we'll go do it together because you said, We were going to do it together. And then all of a sudden... But it's your bit. You have to remind him to go with you.
Starting point is 00:28:40 How was it my bit? Because you messed up. You said something twice on the air. You weren't listening, right? You're punished. We had the audio here. You said, okay, got it. Then you just disregarded it and didn't do it.
Starting point is 00:28:53 He just didn't do it. I know when Lunchbox has a date, lunchbox gets all this crap done. Amy gets all our crap done. You just... So now all of a sudden, I am the terrible employee. No, but in this instance, you did not. do what you agreed to do and what was required of you.
Starting point is 00:29:10 But also right now it's weird that you're not just like, oh yeah, I need to own it and take responsibility. When Amy is asked to do something, she's like, I can't do it, guys, I can't do it. What? When have I ever asked Amy or on the air that she's been told to do something that she couldn't do it? I don't know, guys, I don't even remember this assignment and you want me to go back months and think about a bit that she didn't do.
Starting point is 00:29:30 But you brought up that point, though. If I'm going to be thrown into this mix, I need an example. Well, yeah, and he brought up the idea of your example. So then you can't go to him and go, what's the example? I don't know. But you brought up the idea of her example. Like, don't put me in the narrative if you don't have a specific time where I've done that. Because here's the back.
Starting point is 00:29:46 I mean, I didn't want to do the doll. I didn't know, but I came up with a plan. Like, I was supposed to have the creepy crying haunted doll, but I paid lunchbox a lot of money to take the doll and I got it off my hands. And here's the also, if I'm presenting against Eddie in a courtroom, We laid out the rule, the initial rule, Eddie was all for it. He was like, yep, good. Everybody agreed to that.
Starting point is 00:30:11 Then it happened, and we have audio, and he still understood and said, okay, got it. So there's twice that he has heard, acknowledged, neither of those instances that he go, no, I want no part of this. Because I don't think when we first did it, he thought it would be him. But now that he hasn't done it, he's going, I don't like it. I'd never like barking like a dog But you never said anything like I don't want to do it If this is the issue Ever you agreed and laughed and thought this is hilarious
Starting point is 00:30:42 In my mind I was like I'm just gonna do it And it'll just get it over with But literally I mean just the week just went by I mean forgot so you but okay we're gonna kill two birds of one stone Are you ready for this? I'm ready for this Oh my God all you have to do is get somebody to record it That goes up on your Instagram reel and there's your money
Starting point is 00:30:57 Instead of fighting with an umpire That's such a good point I don't know. See, why could you just... No, not how excited it is! Why couldn't you just spin it that way? You were going to argue with an umpire, but you're embarrassed to bark like a dog? It's not a bad idea.
Starting point is 00:31:12 Gosh, it's so good. Guys, I will do it today. Okay, but still, do it today. But now you're motivated. But now he'll have another punishment for not getting it in time. Right. And lunchbox will be able to offer either the option of wearing the face tattoo for a couple days or lunchboxes' punishment. Now lunch, if you make it too crazy, he's just not going to do it.
Starting point is 00:31:30 No, no, that's not true. now that I have the whole reels idea, hey, let's get creative lunchbox. Let's think of something that'll give me good views. Okay. Bobby, a little bit of you as a teacher should not allow him to put it on his reels. I don't give a crap because it wasn't stated early on that you can't record and put it on your reel. So again, me being, we're just going over what's been said, what's been done. It was never said you couldn't.
Starting point is 00:31:52 But now it's not punishment. Sure it is. It's still punishment. Like, I don't want to go bark like a dog. Until someone comes and says stop. Right. Yeah. Silver lining.
Starting point is 00:32:01 That just took a turn. I loved it. Thank you. Tomorrow on the Bobbycast, Jimmy Westbrook of Little Big Town. It's going to be awesome. We already did it, but it's going to be awesome. You're going to like it. All four Little Big Town members have now been in individually, and they all have a different version of their story
Starting point is 00:32:14 because they lived their version. So Jimmy's tomorrow, and then next week on the Bobbycast, we're going to do all four of them. Pretty cool. Ray thinks that Eddie should sell all the shoes that I gave them from my closet. Why? I assume to make money. Yeah, he says, dude, you don't really,
Starting point is 00:32:30 you're not going to appreciate those. shoes because I'm not a shoe guy. I like shoes. But I didn't give them to you to be a shoe guy. Right. I just, you just gave him to me and I like him and I wear him. He's like, dude, you're going to like the money more than you're going to appreciate the actual shoe you're wearing. So, I mean, that's what he wants me to do. I don't know. I'm not going to do it. I'm not selling the shoes, but he says, dude, you're stupid if you don't do it. Because he said some of these shoes, I can make a lot of money selling these shoes. I only gave you like three pair. Yeah. And you talk about the boots. Like, his boots are so awesome. I love them.
Starting point is 00:32:59 Why would you sell them? No, I'm not going to sell them. No, I'm not going to You have them one now? Oh, yeah. Yeah, see, the thing is like, go ahead. No, I was just going to say, these clothes are clothes. They're awesome, and I wish I could just keep them, but I don't wear them. And I think Eddie would get better. I get mics.
Starting point is 00:33:11 And it's not because I'm like, hey, have some charity. It's like, you're my friends. I wish I could wear these more because they're awesome. So you just wear them in the end. That makes sense. Your point, Eddie. My point is, is I, like, these boots are so nice. And I feel like they're like dress up boots, like, oh, special occasion boots.
Starting point is 00:33:29 But I want to wear them every single day. And you have been. Yeah. So keep doing it. So, okay. All right. So I'm not going to sell them. I will keep wearing these.
Starting point is 00:33:36 And you like your SpongeBob tennis shoes. Love them. Yeah. Awesome. Yeah, it's great. Did I give you another pair of you? Yeah, Jordans. Whoa.
Starting point is 00:33:42 Gold Jordans. Oh, yeah, those are cool. Those are you have to wait. Those are kind of special day Jordans. Yeah, those aren't like, I look at them and I'm like, I can't wear these every day because they're just. You can wear them with jeans though, but yes. Yeah. You can wear them a nice, like a, if we're doing eye heart something.
Starting point is 00:33:57 Yeah. You're being on stage. Yeah. Those are cool. Dude, they're legit. I am not going to register for graduation, although, Amy, that is a funny idea. Yeah, I mean, people do it, though. For what?
Starting point is 00:34:10 It's just like a wedding graduation, or a wedding registry, but you do it for yourself and graduation and things you need to start your new life. My new career. As a doctor. Do you know what's funny is that I have been getting a couple emails from the school and because I've been recognized by the school with an honorary doctorate, they address me as doctor.
Starting point is 00:34:32 It's weird. Listen, let me just be honest. I ain't a doctor. I know that. It was a, it's an honorary doctorate and officially could I be called doctor? Yes, by the rules, I could, but I know I'm not. Like, all the funniest side,
Starting point is 00:34:46 and I'll make many jokes about it. Hey, I'm a doctor, but just know that I know what I am and am not. Okay, so we're all there. It's a really prestigious thing. I'm so honored by it. I love it. It's my favorite thing ever.
Starting point is 00:34:57 but also I know I'm not a real doctor, so I'm going to make many jokes acting, oh, the doctor's in, but just know I know that I'm not a real doctor. I'm never going to say this again because I'm going to act like I'm a real doctor. Anyway, all that being said, because you're recognized by the,
Starting point is 00:35:11 they refer to you as doctor. But they're emailing you? Like, are you now in the alumni email blasts? No, no. The different members, different faculty members that I've had contacts with about different things. will email me. For example, I've been telling them for a long time, hey, I'll talk, even if I'm not in town,
Starting point is 00:35:31 I'll talk to the digital media people. It's about podcasting. It's about TV, radio. And so, I gave them my information. This is months ago. And I finally met the head of the department. And I said, hey, hit me up. Whatever. And so he hit me up, said, it was addressed Dr. Estelle. Oh, and I was like, that's awesome. I was like, this a joke. It's like, are they being funny? But then I got a couple other ones from different people. And they were all addresses doctor. Oh wow, these are real emails. Wow. Yes. And not only that, I was talking because we're developing a game show now. I don't want to say much more than that, but we've been doing trial runs of the game show. So we're actually doing these trial versions. And the conversation yesterday was
Starting point is 00:36:18 do we go, hey, da-da-da, and here's your host, Dr. Bobby Bones. They said, be funny. And it make you're not like you're a PhD or an MD but you are and it would add some you know clout to the and I was like I don't know they're like well think about it because you really could do it and they listed a few other people that have done that
Starting point is 00:36:38 like Dr. Drey? I don't say who they are I'm not going to say. Dr. Drey but yeah anyway I know I know okay it's all an inside joke for me and I'm going to be like oh I'm really I'm not a doctor
Starting point is 00:36:52 I'm not I think you should That would be awesome. Of course I know, but I'm not going to act like I know. So we're all in this together. I'll be like, no, wait, I am a doctor. But they do address me like that. Okay, let's see here. Let's see.
Starting point is 00:37:11 Well, why don't we do? Amy has a clip. She wants to share from her podcast. What is this podcast clip right? So it's a podcast that went up today with Walker Hayes and Craig, who he wrote the book with. They wrote a book together called Glad You're Here. He did the song, Craig, about him. Yes.
Starting point is 00:37:25 I mean, Craig has come on the Bobby Bone show a few years ago with Walker to talk about that and their whole story. And it really is amazing. But in the interview, something came up that I never knew you did. You never said it. Even just as friends, you never told me this happened. To Walker? To Craig. So Walker and Craig were invited to go on the Today Show to talk about their book.
Starting point is 00:37:50 And Craig, he's not a very public person. It's like first time on national TV. Like our show a few years ago was the first really public thing he'd ever done. And he was nervous about doing that even. Like he just didn't know where he fit in with it. And if he even wanted to be public. So anyway, Today Show's a huge deal for him. And he said he ran into you at the mall.
Starting point is 00:38:09 And he was nervous about what to wear and that you and Caitlin helped him. And that's this clip talking about that. Yeah. Okay, here we go. I was freaking out about what do you wear on the Today Show? So, Laura and I go to the mall. We're in Nashville. and I was overwhelmed.
Starting point is 00:38:26 And then, you know, she said, I'm going to get a guy to help or whatever. And then I'm flipping through shirts and stuff. And I look up and there's Bobby Bones. Like right. At the mall? Right. And I said, Bobby Bones.
Starting point is 00:38:38 And he was like, hey. And I was like, hey, Craig, you know, you had us on the show, you know, a long time ago. And his wife sat there and helped us pick out an outfit for the Today Show. Luckily, Caitlin was with it. Yeah, Caitlin is so kind. And that was, yeah.
Starting point is 00:38:56 No, I mean, he's, well, obviously, because he's kind of, I just mean, like, the fashion part. He's got it down from a guy part, but I feel like just having like that approval of, like probably your wife and Caitlin being like, okay, golden, you're good. Well, the pants he picked out were too long, and he's like, call this guy, you know,
Starting point is 00:39:11 he's a tailor and everything, and he can cover it. Well, he paid for that. Oh, that's so kind. Which was really cool. Yeah, it's all true. We saw him, and it was awesome. He's a great, just a lovely, lovely guy.
Starting point is 00:39:21 And he was like, I'm doing the Today Show. And I'm like, well, don't overdress because you feel like you want to go on these shows and look great. I said, this is what you kind of need to wear. Like, let's take it medium, nice. And then I'm colorblind as crap. And then so Caitlin and I were running them clothes
Starting point is 00:39:35 in the back room. Wait, we've probably saved for half an hour and help them pick clothes out. And then, yeah, yeah, yeah, it's all good. But then even you hooking up with your alterations person and then you going back door and being like, hey, I'm paying for this. Don't let him pay for it.
Starting point is 00:39:48 Anyway, I had not heard that story. And so when he said it, I don't think it was a story to be heard. I know, but even like, I mean, I talk to you and Caitlin. Like, it's not anything that ever came up. And I don't know that he, I mean, he just, it was towards the end of our conversation. We started talking more about their book and promoting it in the Today Show. And that's when he shared that.
Starting point is 00:40:04 And so it's like, oh, look at this little nugget. Well, I'm a little embarrassed. But that is, that is, I love the lovely story, lovely guy. And yes, we helped. And he looked great, too. I looked. Here's what's happening, too. We picked out, we gave him an outfit we thought would be A plus for the occasion.
Starting point is 00:40:20 You want to feel comfortable. Because if you're feeling like you're wearing stuff that isn't really you, you just don't feel like you, therefore the best you doesn't come out. It just, you just don't, it's just the presentation. I've done that before. I show up and I'm like gold crap and you got a weird, it's like this. So I was like, we want to make sure it's you. And we've got this whole outfit together.
Starting point is 00:40:39 And he's like, yeah, this feels good, feel good. And so I checked the day after the Today Show, if you wore it or if he's just messing with it. And he did, he added on. He was great. Yeah, no, he was super grateful. And the whole chat with Walker, too, and like that we've sat down for probably about an hour.
Starting point is 00:40:53 So just it's up today four things with Amy Brown. And Walker talked about, you know, sobriety and what that looked like for him entering this new chapter in his life. And I just appreciate their talk. It was special. Yeah, that Craig guy is awesome. He, you know, works in the church a lot. They gave Walker a van when Walker were struggling.
Starting point is 00:41:10 A van. A van. And he did not want to be public about it. And Walker wrote the song as a thank you, not intending for it to be public. And then that's why we should have called it Timmy then. Otherwise, we know it's Craig. Yeah, but Craig shared a cool story about the night Walker sent.
Starting point is 00:41:27 Actually, Walker's wife, Laney sent the song to Craig's wife and said, hey, here's a little something y'all need to hear. And Craig said that he was actually on a date with his wife having a really low day, like not understanding his purpose and just struggling with like, what is he even doing? And then his wife said, well, I just got a text from Laney. I think we should play this and played the song. and he was like, it's almost like, you know, a gift from like how the Lord was using their friendship to like just encourage each other. Four things, Amy Brown. Check it out.
Starting point is 00:41:57 Yeah. Mike, how many post shows have we done this week? It's the only one? I think just this one. We have been really busy this week and so I don't want to apologize because we're not supposed to do these. We do these out of the goodness of our heart and hopefully if you like the show, you like to have a little extra content. But I will say I'm not sorry. but I'm sorry we couldn't do more.
Starting point is 00:42:20 I'm not sorry we didn't do them. I'm just sorry we couldn't do more if you get used to doing it. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm not feeling guilty about it, but I do like to give you guys extra since you like the show. I think that is, if we have time,
Starting point is 00:42:30 we always try to do one. We did one Monday. We did? Okay. Two out of four is not bad. I'd prefer three out of four, but we've been running like chickens with a head cut off.
Starting point is 00:42:39 So, all right, that's a situation. We're going to wrap this up now. Hey, Ray, how long was this one? We are looking at, I'm guessing 40. It's 43. Boom. How about that? We could have split us up and put it in two different days.
Starting point is 00:42:48 They had no difference. That's right. Save this. All right. We're there. You're there. Have a good day. We'll see you tomorrow. The Cadillac through was awesome on today's radio show.
Starting point is 00:42:57 Hope you go check them out. They were awesome. It's just really, really cool thing. Cabasco and sweet tea. That's such a jam. That was a clip from their actual performance. Yeah, that was that not me. All right, that's it.
