It's time for the Bobby Bones post show.
Here's your host, Bobby Bones.
I'm about to kill somebody.
What?
I don't know.
Whoever left fruit in this building, these fruit flies.
I mean, I'm watching Ray battle him out.
He's in this African wilderness.
There's all over me as I'm talking.
You'll hear me hit my microphone because I'm trying to kill a fruit fly.
Yeah.
And so I start going, who left fruit in the studio?
Apparently someone in the building.
It wasn't even nice.
The fruit fly.
Yeah, they've been in here for a week.
I got one up the nose earlier.
Oh, gosh.
went in my ear just a second ago.
Not kidding.
Why are they flying in your body holes?
Who knows?
Hey, one on my butthole.
No, it didn't.
You win.
Leave it in there.
Okay.
I didn't go get it.
Well, no, the irritating part is we got coffee and I'm nervous all morning that one's
going to land in my coffee and ruin everything.
Oh, yeah, for sure.
I could see it.
Lunchbox and Abby went by the, my mountain pine sign.
Yeah.
I didn't know that.
You went by the sign.
Yeah.
Let me tell you, I've always thought it was fake.
Like, I thought it was just a Photoshop thing.
You thought the sign that people would take pictures that.
They'd all Photoshop it.
I thought you would Photoshop them in front of the sign.
Like you would have this sign made up.
That's not a close trip from Mervisburg Mountain Pine.
Well, it's 12 minutes out of the way, according to Abby.
The expert with her phone that, you know, she was looking at her map.
She's like, it's only 12 minutes out of the way.
It seemed a little bit farther out of the way because we had to go through all these little towns.
Yeah, I don't think that Murphsboro, because we used to play Murphsboro on sports.
And that's not a 12-minute trip.
Yeah.
Abby, what are you trying to say?
Oh, I thought it.
No, it wasn't that much out of the.
the way. I was like, if we're coming all the way here, we're going there.
Like that, I can see, but 12 minutes is probably a stretch. Did you say 12 minutes? I think.
I think it was.
You know what? You know a lot more about where I grew up than I did. So you know what? That's good.
No, I believe you. It took us on a completely different route.
Maybe it was like 12 minutes if you're a bird and you fly.
Interesting. I never push that one on my GPS. Where you can like walk or car. I never do bird.
Yeah, bird.
Lunchbox thought that the sign the boyhood home of Bobby Bones was fake and they were photoshopping images.
and so Lunchbox visited the signs.
Here's a clip.
Cool.
Oh, I'm clicking it right now.
Ray said, I'm clicking it right now.
Oh, dang.
Did he say that to you guys?
Yeah, we heard it.
No, we all heard it.
No, we all heard it.
Do you have it?
Yeah.
Go ahead.
Well, guys, it's real.
Mountain Pine, Arkansas.
Welcome to the Boy Hood Home of Bobby Bones.
I thought it was fake all this time, but it's really here.
This side says, welcome to the Boy Dash Hood Home of Bobby Bones.
There it is.
Come take a picture.
Mountain Pine, Arkansas.
all. Just right off the highway, take a left, right, and then there it is.
You know, it drives me crazy that dash one. I've talked about that on the show.
It makes no sense while they have a dash in between boy and hood.
One side says boy hood home. The other side says boy dash hood home.
There's no.
Are both acceptable?
I don't know the English language.
I don't know. When people take a picture from the boy dash, I'm like, I wish you would
walk to the other side. I'd love to repost it.
Mike, what you see if boy dash hood is a thing?
Unless it's like a boy from the hood's home
Boyhood
Yeah was there no other way to write that
Just like where Bobby lived
Or like
You weren't born there right
No Dash
No I don't really know
I was born but there was no hospital there
Right
Yeah there's no I don't think anybody's ever born in Mountain Pine
Okay so you can't say birthplace
But boy
Birthplace
Boyhood doesn't bother me
I guess it's just yeah the dash
I've just never seen a boyhood home of
for anyone.
Hey, let me have my...
You know what I'm saying?
Like Hank Williams Jr.
Hank Williams Sr.
Birthplace.
Yeah, there's no...
All boyhood's no dash.
I sure wish they would change it.
But our town's also not a rich town.
I bet they can't replace that sign.
Well, prisoners probably did that too.
Right?
Aren't they the ones that make signs?
I don't know.
And license plates?
I don't know.
Pretty sure.
I think that's on TV.
That's only in Shawshank.
I think probably there's some of that,
but I don't think it's all run by prisoners.
someone of Pennsylvania is stealing chainsaws from vehicles
over the past week they've stolen 11 chainsaws from four different vehicles
80% of license plates are made in about eight prisons
Wow only eight prisons
Yeah license plates wow
Somebody's stealing a lot of chainsawes
It must be a town where there's a lot of chainsaw work happening
And it's like log grab logging
Right yeah
Like I don't think it's somebody grabbing a bunch of chainsaws to murder a bunch of people like chainsaw massacre
Yeah you just see it sitting there on the back seats
Sort of like you see computers and you're like all right I'm going to take
Or a gun. Like if you were to go to Mountain Pine, you can still guns out of people's trucks all the time.
Or if you just drive down the street right here in front of our building, it says, don't leave your gun in the car because they're being stolen. So, yeah.
Demi Levato reports an encounter with the UFO.
Here's the thing, though, about her and this. She also has a show on Peacock now that's about extraterrestrials.
So I think...
She's promoted it.
Well, maybe they tapped her to be the host because...
The aliens did?
No.
The aliens came down and visited her and, like, you shall now be the host.
I don't know.
Apparently, Demi Lovato's fans aren't limited to planet Earth, the story says.
The singer says several UFOs visited them on their birthday.
Like the last birthday?
Was this when she was on drugs?
This is a genuine question.
The 29-year-old makes the revelation on their new series Unidentified
in which Lovato, their sister Dallas, and BFF Matthew,
visit sites of reported UFO encounters.
Quote, had a pretty profound experience on my 28th birthday.
I made alien contact.
It was pretty mind-blowing.
Ever since then, I started looking at this morning.
I wanted to do a show about it.
I wonder if anybody that says this,
I wonder if they were drinking or on something.
Or making it up.
Or making it up.
You had to be on something to make it up.
No, I can make it up.
No, right now.
Right now.
For example, this morning when I was coming in, it was still dark.
I didn't even know what it was.
It looked a bit, it wasn't like a saucer, what was weird.
It looked like a bowl.
And I was like, what is that?
And all of a sudden, I felt like my chest get tight.
And the next thing I know, I woke up and I was parked in the parking garage.
See, lunch was, listen.
I mean, I'm pretty impressed.
I was like, dang, all right.
Like, did he really?
Yeah, you don't know that.
So you don't know what happened to you from the time you're on the road to the time you got in the garage?
The weird thing is, from the time I was on the road, I remember looking at the clock and it was 413.
When I was in the garage, it was also 413.
So it wasn't like a bunch of time went by.
Actually, something happened to me and no time went by.
Whoa.
Are you telling the truth, Bobby?
Yes.
There you go.
There you go.
I'd like to now host a show about this.
You know, one of my pet peeves, when people go, you couldn't have written this any better.
Yes, you can.
Yeah, I can.
Every time.
Easily.
Talking dog.
Whatever the story is, add a talking dog.
The end, that's better.
It doesn't matter what the situation is.
You add a dog that talks or an alien, the story's better.
A Michigan lottery winner drowned with a winning ticket still in his wallet.
Like died?
Mm-hmm.
That's what drowning me.
What sucks is he drowned?
I mean, that's the headline.
I mean, it sucks he had the ticket on his wallet, but I mean...
Wait.
Gregory Jarvis played the club keynote ad-on game.
The jack on September 30th.
He had a $45,000 jackpot.
A week later, he didn't cash it in
because he didn't have a social security card,
which is a requirement to claim winnings.
He kept the ticket in his pocket.
He slipped.
No.
Hit his head and drowned.
No.
That's the real story.
I don't even care about the lottery ticket, honestly.
Yeah.
God, he slipped into his head, yeah.
Oh, that's terrible.
That sucks.
I thought I was under the impression you could drown,
but then still come back up.
Is that not?
No, no, no.
That's just going underwater.
It's called almost drowning.
Okay.
That's just going underwater, holding your breath.
If you drown, is drowned?
I think you can drown when I have a certain death.
Well, you can also die for a bit and then come back to life.
Same thing.
But drowning is dead.
I don't know that that's true.
I'd like to get confirmation on that.
It's not always dead.
Oh my God.
That's why I asked if he died.
When they jumped on your throat, Amy, I had your back.
Thank you.
Because I don't believe that all drowning equals death.
Thank you.
Here we go.
Eddie, you were a lifeguard.
You should know this.
The means drowning is a process that's not always fatal.
Just like strokes and heart attacks don't always mean death.
people survive heart attacks and strokes
but occasionally there are a complication
the same is true for drowning
drowning. Drowning is not always fatal
It's a technicality
No it's not
The technicality is you're technically wrong
A car crash doesn't always mean death
Well that doesn't
But that's not one of the same
Yeah that's a way bad comparison
I got you, I got you check out
No I don't need to check out
I got this
I got this no I feel like I'm sticking to that one
Because I think it's good
No if you people assume
If you are
Let me tell you.
Hey, fire doesn't always mean arson.
It wouldn't be a story of the guy drowned with a lottery ticket.
Oh, but he's still alive and cash it out.
But it would be a story if he drowned and lived because that's not a story.
But what's crazy is he hit his head.
He slipped himself.
No, you don't change the story, Eddie.
Don't be gaslighting us here.
Excuse me?
Don't change the story because you said all drowning's death.
Had nothing to do with this.
Don't be trying to change it up like what your argument was.
Okay.
That is the example of gaslighting telling us something that we don't see that we saw.
So don't do it.
I'm not going to allow it.
Just saying when you read the story, yes, he died.
Okay, but no, you said all drowning is death aside from the story.
Okay.
And you are wrong.
Okay.
I, Eddie, am an idiot.
Wrong.
Okay.
Close.
I'm glad we clarified.
Stasheera, Amy's daughter, wants to do a zombie shooting experience.
What?
Yeah, well, yes, there's like a haunted house where you can go.
And, I mean, I assume it's with like a paintball type situation.
But yes, it's an inner, it's almost to me in my mind and picture.
like an interactive, like a video game.
Like you're going to this haunted house and you get to shoot zombies.
But I don't know with what.
I haven't looked much into it.
But you also don't want to do it.
I don't want to do it.
But I do, I'm doing it.
Like, I think we're going this weekend at least to do something haunted house related.
I don't know what yet.
So, but that was, that's on the table.
You should talk about your podcast.
It's up today.
Yes, Mallory Irvin is my guest.
And she's got a huge following on Instagram.
but her first spot in the public eye was, well, she first was Miss Kentucky and then was in Miss America,
but then she was on Amazing Race twice.
So she did it with her dad, and then she got invited back for All-Stars.
And so that's when her name got out there and she started building a platform.
And then now she wrote a book.
And she's on talking about the book.
And it's just a time in her life where she was getting all the success, but then she hit rock bottom.
And she goes into exactly what that looks like in the book and kind of what she did to climb her way out of that.
It's just a really good conversation about wanting to live your best life.
And if you're feeling stuck or you have a lot of fear or lies in your head, it's just a good listen.
And I'm super thankful that she came on.
What's her name?
As she wipes off a, I mean, there are bugs attack.
If we end this thing early today, it's because we're not in a working condition that allows for us to do our job at full capacity.
Because we're getting attacked by bugs.
Yeah.
Lunchbox, it's Mallory Irvin.
So, and that's what she is on Instagram.
And her book is called Living Fully, and I can't wait to read it.
I'm about to kill something, somebody, everybody.
Yeah, that's right.
That's how I'm feeling right now.
All of us?
These bugs have been here for a week.
How can we not kill fruit flies?
That means there's fruit somewhere.
You know what I'm saying?
Did Ty and Daniel hide fruit?
There we go.
And then they left to Tulsa.
Maybe.
Could be a thing.
Oh, you know what?
I guess I should say my podcast because people might not know it.
They know it.
It's called the Bobbycast.
No.
Check it out.
It's called the...
Four things with Amy Brown and Valerie's on for all four things.
I saw Shaquille O'Neill stage die up.
Oh, wow.
That's a terrible idea.
Everybody being like, what the...
No.
Get out of the way.
That's got to be the biggest person ever to do it.
That's probably a good...
I would think he is the largest person to ever save it.
That's a world record probably.
They should look that up.
Shaquil O'Nill, aka DJ Diesel,
posted a video that starts off with him saying,
I did something I never did before.
The video shows Shaq diving into a crowd.
7 foot 1, 300 pounds.
He had just finished a set in Ohio
at the Lost Lands Music Festival.
Here's a clip.
There's something I never did before.
The diesel just staged old.
There he goes.
Oh my God.
And everybody melts.
Like, there's no chance to hold them up.
They all fall?
Yeah, they all fall.
It's like when you jump into a pit of balls
and you like chucky cheese and you just go through.
Like for a second, there's a little bit of putting.
Then you just go through the ball.
That's what happens.
That's awesome.
He weighs 325 pounds.
So the internet says.
7 foot 1.
Yeah, that's, I staged
over in Madison, Wisconsin once on my belly.
Worst mistake you ever made.
Yeah, you shouldn't do that.
Because if people were trying to hold you up,
many hands went into the goob.
And not to do it, other than they're just trying to hold me up,
but it hurt.
And I started yelling, put me back, put me back!
And I started trying to turn over, couldn't do it
because there was nothing.
It was not a good experience.
Let's see.
We're a decade away from the,
male contraceptive pill,
but when it's available, will you take it?
No.
Nobody here will need it because we'll all be too old.
Yeah.
If it were available now and they said,
full go and you were like trying to not have a kid,
would you take it?
No.
Why?
I would.
I would know.
Would you, would you want,
would you let your wife take a pill?
No.
No.
No.
At least he's consistent.
I mean, no.
But you had her tie her tubes.
Can't you be safe?
You can.
Yeah.
But I wouldn't trust.
Really?
At 28.
I don't think you can take all measures.
Yeah.
When I started to have any sort of success,
I never got...
Success at what?
Being like,
I hope someone doesn't try to get pregnant on purpose.
Got it.
I didn't...
First of all, my life was weird
because I never got girls.
And then I started to have success.
And all of a sudden,
there were girls,
they were like,
hey, I like you.
And I'm like, this is not right.
This is not weird.
Something can't be true.
So I never trusted anybody.
And so I'd have probably been taking it day one.
Oh, man.
Double up.
on them.
Vitamins.
Yeah.
One in the morning,
one at night,
one at supper time.
Yeah, I get that.
So that for me
would have been,
it had been a yes for me.
It'd be a yes for me,
dog.
Yeah, dog.
You'd have been a no for you,
dog?
No dog for me.
I'm good.
I know how to protect myself.
Ah, man,
I think about it.
I'm like, man,
I could never get pregnant,
so I'm not as worried.
Like, you know what I'm saying?
I could never get pregnant
so I don't know if I should have to be the one
taking the pill.
But have to be the one?
I would want to do it to make sure that I would take it.
I'm just saying yes, I would take it.
Yeah, I think I, I mean, if I'm 23 years old, probably back in the now, I think that's probably a smart move.
Eddie is being called an Arkansas razorback fan?
Yeah, all of a sudden.
Great, good for you, buddy.
Well, I mean, it's not even because I want to be, but I have all the gear that I've collected in the last, like, you know, 10 years that go into games with you or shirts that you give me.
So I wear a lot of razorback gear.
And now people see me around like, dude, your razorbacks, man, what a year.
and I'm like, what?
And then I'm like, oh, yeah, yeah, I forgot I had the shirt on.
Like, because, and then somebody the other day said, hey, your razorbacks are looking good.
And I go, I'm not like a razor.
I mean, yeah, yeah.
At some point, I'm just going to be like, yeah, man, I know.
You don't have a college team.
Why not?
I mean, I'm not opposed to it.
I do like the fan base.
You guys are a die hard.
That's all we have.
We don't have a professional team.
I understand that.
But I never knew that before I met you.
Like, it's really, you guys are die hard.
So I don't mind being part of that if you allow me in.
Well, it's been a rough life.
for the most part.
Yeah, not last few years.
But all three of our teams have been in the top ten,
basketball, baseball, and football.
Exactly.
Been the top 10 in 2021.
Only is cool to have done that.
So it's pretty cool being a Razorbacks fan.
I'll take it.
You say it's so right.
I would say I'm a Razorback fan.
Although Razorbacks fan is probably right,
but it's too right.
So don't say it right?
I would just say, I'm a Razor back fan.
Yeah, I can do that.
Yeah, I'm a hogs fan.
Get a tattoo.
No, I'm not going to get a tattoo.
I think that's, I can't do the bugs, guys.
Can't either.
Ray, are you okay in there?
Good.
Don't act like he's getting shot at.
Are you okay in there?
Well, look at him.
He's having a freaking...
Look at him.
He's biting his nails.
What?
What am I looking at?
No, they'll come back.
Trust me.
And they, for whatever reason,
they just go near the mouth.
They don't want anything else, but...
They want my coffee.
Eddie acts like he wasn't swatting him earlier.
Like, he's just sitting here calm and cool.
Yeah, but you guys act like you can't just hang out here.
I don't want to hang out in them.
I don't want to hang out with them.
They're annoying.
Like this pin in your face, is that annoying?
Hang out with it, Eddie.
I can do it.
I'll do that for 30 minutes.
The lunchbox put that pin right in front of my face.
Because I have strength.
I can control.
I'm done.
Now it's getting annoying.
How many, we should start keeping track of our kills because I've got three today.
I got two.
You do?
Mm-hmm.
Okay.
I got four.
Scoob and Steve just brought something in to put it down.
What is that?
It's supposed to be used sugar, water.
Is that the breast milk?
I don't have vinegar, but I need to drink it?
Spend the will.
All right, we're done.
Right, we're done anyway.
Thank you guys for watching.
Bye.
Have a good day.
We'll see you tomorrow.
All right.
