It's time for the Bobby Bones Post Show.
your host, Bobby Bones.
Let's do Throwback Thursday.
Mike put a lot of work into this, and I was going to do it the last segment of the day,
but then we just got tangled up into a bunch of stuff, which is the best thing to happen,
to have good material that doesn't get made because you work, you're in the middle of something else.
So let's do Throwback Thursday.
Bobby Bones Show.
Throwback Thursday.
Here are all the things that happened on this day and country music over the years.
Today in 1982, Willie had a number one country song with all.
Always on my mind.
You were always on my mind.
Always on my mind.
You were always on my mind.
In 1982, Willie won a CMA for a single of the year for the song,
as well as album of the year for Always on My Mind.
So good.
Yeah, it's a great one.
It's not quite blue eyes crying in the rain for me,
which is one of my favorite songs ever.
Blue eyes crying in the rain.
That's good.
I mean, that, to me, is peak Willie.
But this is close.
It's good.
Yeah.
I like ballad Willie.
Man, I'm on the road, Willie.
Yeah.
Not me.
I feel that.
That makes me happy.
On the road again.
You know, rode on the back of a vomit bag on an airplane.
Yeah, that's right.
That's right.
Yeah, I like Ballad Willie.
Today, in 1997, Johnny Cash announced he had a form of Parkinson's disease.
As a result, he canceled plans to promote his memoirs,
Cash, the autobiography, and a CD.
It was eventually discovered he had been misdiagnosed,
and actually had some sort of neuro, I don't know, some neuro disease,
a condition that related to diabetes and wasn't as bad.
Wow, I didn't know that.
I was watching a video, it moved me.
I was watching a video on Reddit the other day.
And it was a guy who has ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease.
And his situation was he couldn't stop.
His body was shaking violently, constantly.
And he was like, I've been dealing with this for a long time.
And it was the first time that he had tried weed.
He didn't smoke it.
It was like a drop they put under his tongue.
And it time lapsed showing him.
And like 45 minutes later, he was just hanging down on the couch.
And you're looking at it going, why is this not legal?
I mean, completely changed how he was just holding himself.
Put a couple drops in.
He goes, I've never done this before.
I'm nervous.
But then he was just...
So is it oil?
Yeah.
Okay, yeah.
Under his tongue and inside.
I remember, well, when my mom had cancer,
and she passed away in 2014,
but in that 2013,
we were desperate for anything,
and we kept hearing about this oil.
And so it wasn't weed that you smoke.
My mom did end up smoking weed illegally in Texas.
Probably got it from Willie.
Actually, we bought Lance Armstrong
on the corner or somewhere in downtown.
What?
Not from.
That was the strands.
He was hard up for money at the time.
It was right when he went through all that trouble.
No, but they called it the Landst Armstrong,
because I think it was like,
for cancer, good for cancer. People with cancer. But anyway, we were desperate. And my sister found
someone in Colorado that could get us this oil that's like that, that you kind of just put,
yeah, you either, you ingest it and you can also use it topically. And my sister was going to go to
Colorado and like smuggle it back into Texas. But we never ended up doing it because we didn't know.
But it's just like the more that comes out, the more you know in here that like these people aren't,
they weren't making it up. We kind of thought like, is this weed oil really going to do anything?
but I watched it completely change his day.
That's crazy.
Where I'm going, if anybody saw this, they would make sure that someone who needs this could get this.
Yeah.
Yeah, it's wild to think that certain, and who knows if it's not to make it political, but, you know,
pharmaceutical companies make a synthetic marijuana and they make a lot of money off of that.
And so it's like, well, certain things are allowed if it's administered to you in the hospital by a doctor,
but you can't go by.
something like this in certain states that can help you at home.
Medically.
Medically, yeah.
It's also like sports gambling, not exactly the same.
But I can be on my phone making a bet,
and then I can drive 20 minutes over the Kentucky border
and like, nope, not allowed to do it anymore.
Right.
It's interesting.
It's no sense.
When I sat with the Arkansas governor,
and I sat with them for three hours,
and I only really brought two policy issues to him
because I knew that wasn't the time and place.
One of them was like, hey, we got it.
What are we doing?
Why aren't we allowing online gambling?
Because it's already allowed in casino in Arkansas.
So you can go to Oakland where there's a casino and a racetrack and bet money.
So it's not like Utah where there will not be gambling.
It's not like Alaska where there will not be gambling anytime soon.
They're already allowing it.
They've had horse races.
And I know a big part of the anti-gambling is, you know, people down on their luck,
they will get even down or on their luck.
Sure.
And my response was, I would like to gamble.
Was it part that you were in Arkansas and you couldn't place a bet?
Yes, it was absolutely because of that.
But also it's because of all the money that states that do have it are making, that are going back into schools.
And let's not be hypocritical on loud gambling in person but say you can't gamble on the phone.
Like, that's really what it was.
And the lottery does the same thing too.
If we're going to say it's okay to gamble, let's just make it okay to gamble.
And also, if you're on a smartphone, you're betting on an app.
app, you know, there are certain things.
You have to have money in an account.
That feels safer to me than going and gambling it in person at a casino.
Man, it is addicting, though, right?
Not for me.
I mean, not for you.
I love gambling, and I thought I had a problem with playing poker because I was playing a lot,
and I was obsessed with it.
But I just am obsessed with things in general.
It wasn't even about gambling.
So why do you think you're able to control this?
I don't know.
I don't.
I mean, there's times
where you've gotten
a little obsessed with it.
I get obsessed with a lot of things.
Yeah.
But you're...
I'm very myopic at times.
And it's the only thing
that I want.
I mean, not just this.
At times, I'm only looking at one thing.
I'm only focused on one thing.
Oh, my hope.
It is my goal to make that one thing
greater than it already is.
And I told the governor,
we should be getting the money for this
because there's so much money
and sports gambling on our phones.
We're allowing it already.
what the heck's the difference.
And then he said something
that I'm sure was smart
and policy.
And I was like,
I don't know what that means before.
I would like to build a bet on the game.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, whatever you said.
What did you present there, buddy?
What was the other policy?
Construction?
No, it was like food bank stuff.
Oh.
Like, really the thing that I am concerned
most about with folks
and why I a bit talked about
being political
was
basically people not being able to eat,
you know,
insecurity, food insecurity.
I mean, I wasn't able to eat my whole life.
And I feel like oftentimes poor people aren't spoken for
because they can't afford someone to speak for them.
And so that's always been a thing for me.
Can we make sure people have food?
They have the basic.
They have basic rights so at least they can make decisions on
which direction they want to go.
A lot of times there's not a lot of opportunity
because you don't even get to the point
at the track to decide which way you want to go.
You know, I think that's especially where I come from.
A lot of people don't have opportunities
just to get out because they never get to that place where they can take it they can even take a chance
or make a decision that's going to put their lives in a positive direction and so if you're insecure
with your food or your electric bill how are you supposed to be secure in getting an education or getting
it was that type of thing yeah that's really all i care about when it comes to being political
i just feel like people that come from nothing they don't really have people that speak for them
because most people in politics come from money most not all most come from money and most come from money
don't understand that.
They don't understand.
They can look at data and numbers
and they can see, well,
but they haven't lived it
so they can't relate to it,
so they're not motivated to fix it.
So I'm sure
that was the other thing.
Sounds like a fun dinner.
Well, no, it was very,
that was like two quaint one.
I would have been like,
okay, can I get into the beer, please?
I did let them read,
I did let them read all my jokes
before I went up there.
There was one that I cut right before I went on
thought it was too much, and he laughed, and they went,
yeah, that's probably too much.
He told you that.
Yeah, he told me that.
But he laughed, he goes, that's really funny,
but probably too much.
So we're doing throwback Thursday.
Today in 2001, Garth Brooks announced plans
to release one more album going into retirement
at the end of 2001.
He said that many people said,
hey, don't say the word retirement,
but he's like, hey, I can only be as honest as I can,
and I don't know if I'm coming back.
And then he didn't for like 12, 13 years.
He's gone.
Today in 2006, Heartlands,
I Loved Her First made its way to number one in the Billboard chart.
I loved her first.
I held her first.
Today in 2007, Kenny Chesney hit number one with don't blink.
Don't blink.
And in 2014, Sam Hunt's debut album, Montavello was released.
Montavello, it featured this number one, laid the night on.
We'll be rolling down the windows.
I bet you would catch a night second win.
Change Ray's life.
Yeah.
Has it been the same sense or what?
Never.
I mean, that's around the time when I met my now wife, and I met him on the east side.
So, yeah, I mean, it all started then.
You say things sometimes?
Yeah.
What do you mean?
him on the east side.
2014, when this album came out, he was doing some release party, and I just went to it,
and that's the first time I ever met him, gave him daps, took a picture with him, put it on
my Instagram.
That was at Dave & Busters.
No?
That was a show he played, but he had a release on the east side at some dive bar nobody
even knew about.
Didn't you fall off the stage at Dave and Busters introducing him?
It wasn't him.
I was introducing Canaan Smith, I believe.
Yeah, I got a little lightheaded.
I'd had a couple drinks.
It was my first time announcing at Dave and Busters, and I just fell into a bush.
Got a couple cuts.
I want a bush.
And by lightheaded,
he had too many drinks.
Yeah, I think you've kind of...
You had a buzz.
How much Halloween candy can you eat before you die?
What?
That was the story.
That was the story.
Wait, how much can you eat before it'll make you so sick that you then die?
Oh, I thought, or how much can it eat over all these years?
On the average, Americans take in 22 teaspoons of sugar in a day.
That's about 350 calories.
Around Halloween, candy intake goes through the roof.
but how much can you
eat before it kills you?
The answer, according to Hans Plug of safer
chemical analytics,
statistically 5.4 pounds
of sugar in one sitting could kill
180 pound person. Wow!
So to achieve that, you'd have to eat approximately
256 pieces of fun-sized candy
or 1,627
pieces of candy corn. Whoa.
And you know what I hear? Let's spin the wheel.
Okay. I'm out. I mean, I've
gotten pretty close to that, I bet. When you had to eat the
box of donuts? No, no, no, no. Just every hell of
I probably eat about 100 pieces a night.
What?
Oh gosh.
I got four kids when they all come home with candy bags.
Like all night you're just like a little bit more.
Yeah, but 100 is a lot.
We have audio.
Speaking of spinning the will of all these guys talking crap.
Oh yeah, this was weeks before.
This is like before or maybe even a month.
Whenever we had the discussion of you ordering the shot, the wheel wasn't even in the picture.
There was no wheel.
This is just how, this is why you ordered the shot.
To begin with.
How long is this clip, Ray?
40 seconds.
Here we go.
Would you try it, Eddie?
Sure, absolutely.
Mike, you heard it.
Let's order some of this.
Whoa, whoa, whoa, what do you mean?
What do you mean?
Lunchbox, did you try this?
Yeah.
God.
Okay, these guys want to prove how macho is.
I mean, men do things.
Morgan?
I hate spicy things.
Like, I am such a baby with even mild salsa, but I would try it.
Yeah, when your boss says you can drink at work, you take that opportunity.
Yeah, you have to, Amy.
Even if it hurts like that?
Absolutely.
Scooby, you want a shot?
No, I don't do shots.
Oh.
Oh, it's such a sissy.
No, I don't do shit.
That's just about 18.
You can take a drink of it then, okay?
Then that'd be a shot.
Put it in a shot glass you drink it.
Don't be a sissy.
We'll do shots.
Not me, though.
Not you.
I'm already feeling that burn.
All right, we'll get a bottle of this.
We'll try it on the air.
There you go.
No wheel, no nothing.
Just these guys talking about how that's all they want to do is drink at work.
And also, lunchboxes do the word sissy around at Scoob and Steve.
Like, you don't want to drink it.
You're a sissy.
Yeah.
Exactly.
I got five more bottles right here.
Let's do it.
Oh.
And see who the real sissy is.
I mean, it's just...
All quiet now.
Funny to me when I heard this back,
because I didn't remember how that conversation played out.
Sorry, Morgan, but you also said you would try some.
But I was thinking, when did it turn into a wheel?
If you had volunteers,
we forgot, didn't we?
No, the wheel is funny because it makes the sound effect.
There's big drama leading up to it.
It's just a funnier segment.
Okay.
And you got to understand, Amy, after seeing what you went through, there's no chance I'm taking that shot.
Ever.
What about Sissy caller?
Yes.
I told you to take a sip of it.
I'd take a sip.
You said a drink.
A shot.
He wants a sissy sip.
But he said a drink.
Give a little sissy sip.
You said a drink.
I said a sissy sip.
You did not say that.
Will it go down your throat?
Do you have it right now?
Let's give him a little drink.
Let's go.
I can make you a rum and Coke if you want to have coke in the fridge.
No, no, no, no.
Straight out.
Just give them a little drink.
I can't dilute this.
I do worry if you were to mix that was, yeah.
You got milk?
No, I ain't got milk.
No, cissy milk?
Abby, get the milk.
Yeah, it's just a little drink.
It just a little.
But we do want to see you swallow it.
Oh, gosh.
So put it in something so he gets like a.
No, I wouldn't put your lips on the bottle.
No.
I wouldn't put your lips on the bottle. No.
No.
He's going to touch it anyway.
But putting it on a shot glass is very different than putting it on.
Oh.
Oh.
What are you going to do?
Well, give me a little cup.
I need a cup.
But this is not going to be as dramatic because he's not going to take the same amount.
But I didn't say that.
I said I'd take a little sip.
Now you say take a drink.
He's going to be like, look.
A sip is a drink.
Go ahead.
I need a cup.
No, just take it from the bottle.
She said don't put my lips on the bottle.
That could be bad.
It burned my face.
Well, let him have.
Just pour it in your mouth a little bit.
Guys, can you give me a cup or not?
Hey, before we do this, are we ready for the.
Like when Amy, we weren't ready for Amy.
Like, are we ready to go into help mode?
Like, yeah, Eddie, don't freeze this time.
It did get dramatic when Amy started dying.
Like, I don't know what to do, even if he starts, like, shaking.
But I just don't think, unless he's taking the same amount, he'll have the same reaction.
No, I'm not.
I'm just going to take a little sip.
That's what you do.
You take a sip.
Oh, my gosh.
More, more.
More.
Sissy sip.
Oh, he's drinking.
He took a sip.
Sissy sip.
Oh, God, that's really bad.
Oh, see, here we go.
He's already saying.
Woo!
Oh, he's bent over the trash can.
He's bent over the trash can.
Oh, my God.
Don't drink water.
Water makes it worse.
You need milk.
Water makes it worse.
Milk me.
Help him.
I, give me the dang milk.
You're not a sissy, right?
You're good.
You got it.
Oh.
But I'm back to my talk.
I tried it, didn't I?
You did.
Oh,
Hey, let's go!
Hey, there was a lot more movement
when Amy was on the ground.
Because I took away more than that.
You just started yelling
you didn't need anything before it happened.
You took like a teeny sip and I took like...
Give me in the middle!
Are you acting?
You really need one for a room.
I really need milk.
Go get it.
Go get it.
Go, go, go.
Help you.
My lips are on fire!
Oh my God!
Oh!
See, I think it causes you to scream.
Because, screaming and bang.
That's exactly what I was doing, screaming and banging.
He's spinning right now into the trash.
Come on!
Is that milk?
There's no milk.
Oh, God.
Oh, I poured it in.
He poured the bottle out.
Okay, Eddie, your turn.
No, I'm out.
No, no.
Eddie, you said.
I'm not doing this.
Oh, my God.
You good?
No, I can't close my mouth.
My thumb's dead.
He's trapped. He doesn't know what to do.
Oh, my God.
Are we getting milk or what?
Don't you feel sweaty and lightheaded?
Oh, yeah.
See?
As fast as we can.
How do you think Amy felt drinking a whole shot, though?
I can't know.
Amy, mad props.
Matt props.
You're tough.
Okay, thank you.
Everybody else here is sissy, though.
Yeah, proud.
Yeah, I'll take it.
I'm a sissy.
True and true.
I'll talk, no backup.
You got it.
Oh, my God.
Is it bad?
Yeah, it's really bad.
Oh, my God.
And Eddie, you saw him drink a little bit of it.
Oh, yeah.
It went down.
Oh, my God.
And it was just a sissy sit.
It was a sissy sit.
Guys, I ain't joking, man.
This is terrible.
Oh, my God.
I understand.
My list might peel.
Yes, that's how I felt like my face is going to peel.
Did he say my lips won't heal?
My lips are going to peel.
And they won't heal either.
Come on!
Run to the gas station.
I don't have any money.
I mean, both comments were as dumb as they can be.
One, run to the gas station.
Two, I don't have any money.
There's milk.
There's milk.
There it goes.
Eddie, it will be epic if you try it.
Right?
But no, not the day.
Here he goes.
He's having a drinking milk.
Oh, it's so much better with the milk, right?
Yeah.
Well, I remember getting that stuff.
up in my eyes. Does that help?
Yeah, milk is good.
I feel lunchbox.
Take it in.
He's stinging his tongue in the milk.
But before he took the shot, he wasn't needing anything.
He was like, I'm good.
Are you shoving the milk? What are you doing?
It feels good to stick the milk all over your face.
Is it worse than you imagined by far?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Did you think I was being dramatic after the entire shot?
Mm-hmm.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Do you now?
No.
No.
Thank you.
Wow.
Okay.
I don't know how it's legal.
I feel.
Yes.
Okay, now I know.
I'm not crazy.
That's legal, but a weed drop to fix your disease isn't.
There's no way, guys.
It's the worst thing ever.
Oh, my God.
My arms are shaking.
Yes, I was shaking.
Remember Morgan how bad I was shaking and I couldn't stop?
Yeah.
In the bathroom?
body was shaking.
Yeah, he were convulsing in the other room.
I was trying to be nice to you.
But you were secretly recording me.
Oh.
I was not.
No, no, no, no.
Lunchbox.
But Bobby's number one rules always get audio, so.
That was my number one rule like five years ago.
I don't think that's my number one.
Even that eight years ago, whatever you do, get audio.
We'll let lunchbox drink milk.
That's terrible.
My lips are just burning.
And you guys just bought that off the internet, right?
Huh!
Like, anybody can buy that?
Well, you got to be 21.
It's a Wiltshire Farm.
It's based in the UK, so maybe it is illegal in the U.S., but it's legal across the pond.
How much was that, scuba?
I got the hookup.
So what about, that'd be a mean joke, right?
Like, we're all taking shots.
Oh, my gosh.
You would think we were dying.
Listen, listen, guys, you'd think it's funny?
Don't do it to somebody.
That's the worst thing.
Okay, yeah.
Like, you play shot roulette.
Oh, God, that would be terrible.
Yeah, if someone didn't know that was coming, they would think that they were dying.
That would end friendships.
Like, say there's a guy.
in your group that nobody likes.
Like, you're just like, all
taking shots, and then you give him
that one.
Oh, that would be mean.
Eddie would get that shot.
Oh.
You say Eddie would get that shot.
Dang, dude.
Okay.
I need new lips.
Guys, this is, oh my God.
It won't be.
Trust me.
I thought that, I thought my face
was going to peel off,
but it ultimately calmed down.
You just have to keep milk compressed on it
for a few hours.
Ray, y'all's walk to the gas station.
Lunchbox, I don't have any money.
It will anybody else?
try it, right?
No.
Why would you?
After watching him?
Why would you?
Reasons not to try it.
Well, I didn't know if anybody's willing to take an entire shot.
What?
We watched...
For fun?
We watched you do it and almost die.
Okay.
Let me promo with this while lunchbox is drinking milk.
Okay.
On the biz tape, they're taking a look at the legal battles of Dr. Luke and Keshah
and how his career has fared since the sexual allegations surfaced.
They also talk about a new development in financing indie artists and how the
could change the way artists negotiate deals and start their careers.
So check out the biz tape.
This podcast has been growing by leaps and bounds.
It's almost grown 100% like doubled up.
It's listening in the past few months.
But it's kind of behind the scenes of the music industry.
Well, they do a shock.
Probably for listens.
But the biz tape is a podcast that I'll recommend to you guys.
B-I-Z-T-A-P-E.
Did you guys see the Darius record video yesterday of him acting like one of the
Madam Tussaud's wax figures?
No.
At the museum, they have basically a grand ol'-operie stage.
There's an Eric Church one.
But he went and played himself, and then people would walk and look at him and he go,
ha ha ha ha.
That's scary.
Yeah, it's pretty funny.
He didn't like boo, like, ah.
Yeah, but still, it would like be startle you.
It would also be funny.
Here's a clip.
Here you go.
Let me play a clip.
His laugh.
I love that.
We can play because I will say this now, Lunchbox and Eddie, we're going to skydive at
our country festival this weekend.
It is now not happening.
Why?
They just found out.
I guess the deal didn't go through.
I don't know what that meant.
But I don't know if it was, I don't know what the deal was.
Well, I didn't know that.
I didn't know I was out.
Lunchbox didn't know he was out.
So he told his wife last night he was going to go skydiving.
Do you have the clip, Ray?
Yep.
Here it is.
Yeah, and I just got my schedule on 11 a.m. Saturday.
I got to skydive with the Army Golden Knights.
Hmm?
Really?
Yeah.
No.
What do you mean?
No.
You ain't really a skydive.
So you want me to email the bosses and say, I can't do it?
Yeah.
How do I tell them that I can't do it?
Do you not kids?
Can't die.
Would you like to write the note to my boss?
Sure.
She was asleep on the couch.
I woke her up to tell her.
Oh my gosh.
Why would you wait?
She's a brand new mom.
Why would you wake her up for audio?
Why would you wake her up to mess with her?
Yeah.
Is that a kind of a question for all you guys?
Is that how you all talk at home?
No.
Is it like all of a sudden when you're at home, hey, I'm going to go skydiving.
Well, she was asleep.
No, no, I'm not about you, but you.
I'm skydiving.
Oh, yeah.
I think lunchbox is.
Way softer at all.
Because here he just yells at us when he's trying to tell us something.
Well, she was asleep, dude.
You don't yell at someone in their sleep.
How much milk is in that bottle?
You've been drinking that thing, hard-dore for like a half an hour.
No, I don't think you understand.
I'm not drinking it.
You throw it, trust me.
I did this method.
You throw it back and just let it sit on your lips and then you dump it back into the bottle.
I had about four of those bottles.
How long does this last, Amy?
What?
The pain.
Oh, tomorrow?
Oh, tomorrow.
But he also didn't do the full shot that she did.
If you have the full shot, I was not normal for, till the time.
the next morning. I had a headache all day. Nothing tasted right. In fact, I, I, I've, what do I have in here
next to me every single day? Anybody? Right here. Headphones. Coffee. I didn't even bring any today
because yesterday it didn't taste good because my mouth is like ruined for a little bit. And today,
I didn't even mess bringing it because I didn't want to waste the coffee in the milk because
still doesn't taste right. Like water doesn't taste right. So I'm hoping that by tomorrow I'll be back
to my normal routine, but good luck. He's still chugging that milk in and out.
Do you need more milk or are you just good with using the same?
No, I need more milk.
Yeah, it's so bad.
I feel for him, but also it's funny.
Listen, I talk a lot of trash.
No, you don't say.
When I back it up all the time, I wish I wouldn't have backed this up.
I wish I had just gone out like these cissies over here.
Yeah, proud cissy.
Morgan, you're not interested in all on tasting it even a little bit?
No, I mean, I was just going to take one for the team.
If we were going to try out, be like, okay, I'll try it.
But I put sugar in hot salsa.
Like, that's how bad I hate.
Well, there's sugar in here.
Rum.
Amy's just dying for someone out.
Amy wants to see everybody go down.
No, I just want to see.
I didn't get to experience watching it.
Was it funny?
You?
Well, you just took a little d'nese.
Yes, it was funny.
It was funny.
But you were just like...
Amy, I was scared with you
because it was such a small sip
and we had seen her go through the worst of it.
And we knew you'd come out on the other side.
When I did it, we didn't know
what was happening with my body
and we thought that I was going to,
to go to the ER. Eddie thought the show might
be over. I thought we were done. I was like, we may
never do another show. I thought. I thought Amy was
done for good and I thought the show
was going to be done. Yeah, I thought we'd get fired.
That thought crossed my mind and I thought
oh no, the show's going to get canceled because
of me and I didn't want that. So I was just like,
just survive this. Just survive this.
Thank you, Amy. It's really nice of you.
You're welcome. There's an article. Should we
normalize farting in yoga? Yes.
No.
Now he talks.
But a lot of teachers feel this way. They say that it's
actually really good for your body to experience that release in certain poses and you should
just feel free and not not hold it.
What about the sitting down pose at work?
If you're going to normalize it at yoga, you should normalize it everywhere.
Everywhere.
I think the point is that yoga, you should be allowing your body to do its thing and relax,
and certain poses do.
There is a pose called the wind removing pose.
I mean, that's the English translation of the...
Which one's that one?
I don't remember what it's called in...
Healthline.com did a big story about people who do yoga.
A yoga instructor said some students fear they will fart during a session.
Yes.
Their advice let it out.
Farting is one of two ways your body expels gas.
The other is?
Burping, that's correct.
Good job, lunch, folks.
Thanks lunch.
My husband, being that he's a pilot, he says that it's actually really bad to also keep things in when you're flying.
The plane's the best place because no one knows it's you.
Yeah, exactly.
Everyone's around.
Who is that?
Well, there's a hundred people right here.
idea. I know, but something about
because your organs, like, and there's air
and your body's already
expanding, and so you should give it that
release if it needs it, because it could be damaging
if you hold it in. So just heads up.
So Mike suggested this.
What if we sent lunchbox
to do yoga and have them go with a fart machine? How long
do they kick them out? Love it.
He hides it in his sock.
There's some places that
might not be embracing the farts, so they
might be more like, okay, you got to go.
Aren't some of these yoga places like hot yoga where it's all, everyone's all sweaty?
That's all I do.
Can you imagine?
I haven't done it since before pandemic.
But, yeah, I didn't, I wouldn't farting a class.
No way.
I don't, maybe accidentally, but then you'd be like, and then you look around.
I don't think so, but I didn't, I don't feel free.
No.
I don't feel free ever.
I'm naked in the shower.
I don't feel free.
I'm always.
About yourself in the shower.
Yeah, I'm always judging myself.
Morgan number two sent me a note last night.
This is our listeners need to hear something.
I guess something happened on Facebook that irritated you.
Oh my gosh.
Yeah, I can't.
Every time I post a story about a celebrity, granted comments always come.
But this one was bad.
Luke Bryan obviously rescued the girl from the side of the road.
And everybody's like, oh, like, he's not a hero.
We have people running and burning buildings every day.
Like, why don't we shout them out every day?
And they're basically hating on us for bringing light a celebrity that helped someone.
And I just want to point out to them that, like,
They made Luke Bryan a celebrity.
Like, we do that.
We make people celebrities by listening to their music or going to their concerts.
And people are yelling about us not making other normal people celebrities.
Then you guys go make them celebrities.
They have that control.
I think what makes the Luke Bryan story interesting or anyone else that is wildly famous is that most don't do that.
Celebrities.
Yes, most celebrities aren't in a position where they're just driving down the road and see someone.
go, I also have the skills needed to help this person.
So it's one, it's a famous person doing anything.
It doesn't have to be helping anybody.
Famous person does anything.
It's going to get clicks.
It's going to make the news.
Secondly, when you see a famous person doing a non-famous person thing,
that's really interesting to non-famous people.
That's like, wow, that's pretty cool.
And it could inspire.
Oh, wow, if my favorite country artist,
Luke Bryan, can pull over and help someone,
maybe they'll remember next time they see someone in need that they take the time to pull over.
But the reason that it makes the news is because people are
interested in it. If people weren't, these wouldn't be stories. It obviously gets clicks,
not just for us, but it wouldn't be a story for anyone. E, people, if it didn't get clicks,
which means people interested in it. So, yes. He's not a hero, though. Like, that's just a headline
word, right? Like, he could be a hero to her. To the woman who was stuck, maybe she had somewhere she had
to be. He had a lung transplant she needed to get to. Maybe her kid did be picking up a daycare.
That's a great story. You never know. I don't know what the situation is, but for people to be
upset about that. The bar has been set. Luke is famous. Whatever he does, he puts out
to number one, he helps someone, it's going to get clicks. But people like to see when people
that they like do things like they would do. And that doesn't mean we don't think that people
that are, if they're referring to firefighters running into burning buildings, they are heroes.
We are very thankful for them. And that's why we do tell me something good. Yes. And we honor our
first responders and we're very thankful for them. But all day long do we sit and run name by name and have a
I wish that we could.
That would be amazing.
But it's also their job.
And they don't expect us to say that.
That's not Luke's job.
We got more milk coming?
I don't think so.
I don't think anyone's moved.
Yeah, I think we've all pretty much sat in the same spot.
And we're out of money.
Let's see.
Still good?
My lips hurt.
Yeah, I would just start taking Advil now.
A new Buzz Lightier trailer
starring Chris Evans has just landed.
Now, explain to me how Buzz Lightyear has a prequel,
considering he's always been a toy.
Mike, I'll ask you this.
Yeah, in this movie, he's not a toy.
It's about the quote-unquote real-life Buzz Light Year
that the toy inspired.
That makes sense.
So it would be like if Andy from Toy Story was going to see that movie Buzz Light Year,
he would have wanted to buy that toy after seeing this movie.
Oh, cool.
So it's like the story of the person.
Yeah, the origin story.
Got it.
Okay, here is the voice.
Here you go.
reporters are on to infinity.
And...
Is that it?
Beyond.
Oh, I didn't really hear him talk that much.
He's a good one.
I mean, there's got to be some big, big money
and being the voice of Buzz Light Year.
Yeah, isn't Tim Allen normally the voice?
The normal voice of the toy Buzz Light Year, right?
But not the younger one.
But now even the younger one's like a 40-year-old man.
I mean, Chris Evans.
You'd think they get like a 22-year-old.
Right.
McDonald's is hiking the prices of its menu items
because of wage increases and supply costs.
which also goes back into the fact they have a much of supplies they can't get to.
Yeah, I just feel like there should just be like a blanket statement from every company in the world
in that in every restaurant, every small business, every big business, like prices are just increasing.
Dealing with a heavy labor shortage as well.
Yeah. Yeah.
A lot of places are.
The owner of a drug rehab clinic in Central Florida is facing drug charges for selling drugs like fentanyl out of the rehab facility.
Oh, my gosh.
That sucks.
Getting greedy.
That's like if you're a judge, you give them a little extra.
Have you seen that show?
that's coming to Hulu or think intervention?
No.
It's about, I think it's based on the true story of the opioid,
the company that created the opioids and how it like reenacts all the different things of how they noticed
the people that were getting prescribed to this medicine, then ended up getting addicted
and dying.
Was there a first opioid that they looked back at and go, this was the one?
Yeah, it was like a company created it.
So then it, so I've only seen the trailer when I log on to Hulu,
but I'm like, oh, this is going to be good.
I want to watch this because it is crazy how it caused this epidemic of addiction to this pharmaceutical drug.
And then, but the pharmaceutical company was making so much money.
They didn't care that people were literally dying from it.
To me, these pharmaceutical companies feel like Facebook,
where they can get in all this trouble if they're so big, they're never going to fail.
It's like they're never really going to feel punished because they're so big and have so much control over everything.
It's called dope sick.
Amy, the movie you're talking about.
Oh, okay.
And it is with real actors.
Yeah.
I think it's a scripted, acted out thing, but it like is really how it unfolded.
Wow.
It is on, is it on now, Mike?
Hulu has it now.
Well, that must be why I get the trailer when I lock on.
What's the Rotten Tomatoes on that, Mike?
There may not be one yet.
But yeah, dope sick is, oh, 8.6 out of 10, 8.6 out of 10 on IMDB.
Not bad.
80% on Rotten Tomatoes.
Yeah.
But yeah, this guy who was taking rehab people, but also selling them drugs.
Yeah, that's terrible.
Lori Laughlin is paying $500,000 for two students to go to college,
apparently to make up for her part in the college admission scandal.
You know what? That's awesome.
It was not part of her plea deal.
And people are hating on her, but she doesn't have to do it.
She doesn't have to do that. Why are people hating just to hate?
And then people are like, what, it's all for her PR.
Okay.
But still two kids get to go to school.
Exactly.
They didn't get to go to school.
And maybe it's...
Well, they're going to school that costs $500,000.
Well, it's two kids.
It's $2.50 each.
It could be one of those really expensive Stanford-type schools.
I don't know how much those schools cost.
How much does regular school costs?
I mean, who knows these days?
With expenses and everything.
It's got to be pretty close to that.
I don't even want to know.
Let's see.
I think that's all we're going to do today.
Lunchbox is still struggling.
No, guys, are we not getting more milk for real?
It does make you angry.
Like, come on.
Like, goodness.
You're hot and sweaty, so you get angry.
They're just ignoring me in there.
They're acting like they can't hear me.
Like, guys, my lips are on freaking fire.
You can go.
You can go upstairs and get the milk.
You can go out there if you need it.
Oh my gosh.
Oh, Amy didn't have to go get her own milk.
Well, I took a full shot and I was on the ground.
Okay, I'll get on the ground.
Is that what I need to do?
Just take your headphones off.
Goodness.
Ray, why isn't anyone moving?
Abby, can we go get?
Because of how little of a shot he took and he had.
It's easy for you to say.
What's this, what's that?
Like, come on.
He took a full shot that was worthy of that.
But what did you do?
You did nothing so you have no idea so you don't know how much milk I need.
I never ever committed to doing this.
His lips are red.
That's what I'm saying.
Go get Bobby Sagan.
Go get some milk.
Go right ahead.
Kylie Jenner.
I'll get you some.
They call Kylie Jenner.
It does.
It feels like you have like a, one of those.
They sell that lip gloss that feels like you've been starting to be.
Give me some milk, please.
Goodness, take the card the scuba gives you and give me some milk.
The card's tapped out. I can't buy more milk.
Okay, see, this is what I'm talking about.
This is, and you're going to tell me the hotel wasn't on purpose?
He's saying, oh, the card's tapped out.
I can't get you milk.
Do you need cash or a car?
To be fair, the hotel did look good online.
We looked at it to have a pretty high review.
You get your lips done?
I'm still thinking about writing a review for that hotel.
You do that?
I mean, goodness.
There were bad reviews on that hotel once we started digging into it.
It just, you had to really dig in to find him.
Put Scuba in that review.
Put his name in there.
I will.
I'm going to sign it as Scuba Steve.
I don't even know, and we don't say it on the air.
I don't even know Scuba's last name, do I?
Yeah, I do.
I don't say that out loud.
What?
I'm wanted in 17 states.
Oh, okay.
The warrants.
Of course.
I'm looking right now if I type in Scuba into my phone.
Oh my God, that burp Amy is terrible.
Is this last name radio?
Yep.
Close.
So close.
So close.
How did you know.
All right.
Amy's giving you cash if you want to run up.
Abby, she got the card for scuba.
Okay.
So we're good.
I mean, I feel for you.
It's painful.
I'm breathing fire.
Do you think, though, that the reaction to you is because one, you had significant?
Because I'm a man.
Hold on.
It's sexist.
Okay, hold on.
No, no, no, no.
Because you had significantly less and because you were yelling wussy at people.
Or no, no, cissy.
Sissy.
Do you think that has some?
something to do with it with a combination of you screaming people that they're a sissy and then two
you just have a tiny bit. Well, I mean, they still are sissies because they talk talk and they don't
do anything. That's true. Lunchbox talk talk, but he did it. I did it. As I'm saying, I told you I would
try it. I never said I would take a shot. But I would say he talked a lot more talk than anybody else did.
And I tried it. And I said the word sissy. Can I see your lips again? They look good,
lunch. They don't know. They look swollen and tinted. Very full. I mean, above my my upper lip is
just, who, it is smoking.
Do duck face real quick.
Not like this.
Not bad.
You'll pay big money for that.
Imagine that running out of your nose, that fire, running out of your nose.
I got snot.
Because that's what happened to me.
I need a clean neck.
Okay.
That's it.
Oh my gosh.
Check on me, guys.
Pray.
Check on me and pray.
She took a whole deal.
Did you check on her?
Yes, I did.
Actually, did you see me on?
No, I checked her social.
She was good.
Her socials?
Yeah.
Oh, she took the whole.
social like social media. Yeah. I think you me like her social security.
No, no. She was, she looked good on social media, so I figured she was fine. Okay. And I figured she needs
something she'd call. Who? If Amy needs something, she'd call. Why are you talking like that?
It's hard to move my lips. It hurts. Do you feel any of the alcohol? No. Yeah, you're going to buzz?
No, I got, I'm like, all I have is burned. Are you drunk right now and that's why you're acting crazy?
Guys, I don't think, I don't think, I don't care if you can even put it down. I don't think you would taste the alcohol because all you can feel is the fire.
I mean, oh my, that people actually drink that?
That's just a joke, right?
Yes.
Yeah, it's like they do it for like what we did.
Yeah, they don't order that at a bar or anything.
No, they wouldn't.
Would you play shot roulette with that with four other people for $1,000?
A thousand bucks.
But you had to do that.
If you did it, here's the thing.
Here's the thing.
After you did this to Amy yesterday and said, oh, how much to do it again?
and she said thousands and thousands of dollars.
I was like, she's crazy.
It should be $1,000.
But Amy, I'm with you.
It has to be thousands of thousands of dollars.
It's a 20% chance.
I don't think I could.
Dude.
Oh, thank you.
Thank you.
So let's say all of you five in the studio here,
Morgan and Edmy, Munchbox, Mike D, and Amy.
Or we put you back on the wheel.
There's five of you.
And everybody got paid a thousand dollars.
Would you get on the wheel?
Everyone gets paid.
Everybody gets paid just to be a part of it.
Oh.
But it could land.
But odds are it's not going to land on you.
Yeah, but I'm not.
No.
You wouldn't do it even for the chance?
No, I don't ever want to do that again.
I think I'm out.
Really?
You two are out?
I think I'm out, guys.
Then we should all be out.
Guys, I'm not paying for this dumb bit.
I know, but they're the only ones that really know what it feels like.
But I wonder how much lunchbox actually consumed with that teeny tiny little sit.
I would just by looking at how much went in, I would say about like the size of your pinky.
Oh my God.
That's it?
Yeah.
I took like 50 pinkies.
No, you didn't take 50 pinkies.
Felt like it.
It's exaggerate.
Now we're measuring in pinkies?
Well, I'm trying to think.
Like, what would that be in a measurement?
Yeah, because I'm like, he, I think he just got like a, I threw that back like I was 21.
Well, we pumped you up, though.
You did.
Yeah, no one was pumping me up.
Everybody was laughing at me.
We didn't think it was going to be a deal.
Like, I thought, yeah.
I thought you could take a little sip and it wouldn't hurt.
It would just be like a red hot, the gas station?
I always thought it was.
Atomic, atomic fireball?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Okay, I think, Ray, how long has it been?
I feel.
Checking.
42 minutes.
Wow.
Some people say when they see it over 30, they know I've either gone into a talk about aliens.
Time travel.
Time travel.
Apocalypse, time travel.
But none.
None today.
Thank you guys.
There is a new four things with Amy Brown up.
What's on that?
Yes.
We're talking about gut health and probiotics because I had a...
I take probiotic every day.
You do?
Yeah.
So I had the, like, a founder and CEO of a probiotic.
Company on to explain why, because I feel like probiotics can be really confusing.
And then how, well, you know, Bobby, how important gut health is?
Like, your gut is affecting you right now.
Is it?
You say.
You just had two colonoscopies.
I went to a doctor, though, and I was like, hey, doc, what do you think about probiotics?
He's like, I don't know.
My grandma takes them.
Oh, really?
And I was like, what, really?
I wanted a little more than that.
He's like, they're fine, I guess.
Yeah, you might need to, yeah, I mean, different doctors have different perspective.
I had a doctor give me a similar answer.
He's like, you know what?
It does different things for everybody.
And he's like, it's not really my area of expertise.
Yeah.
You know what I'm talking about vitamins?
And there's not definitive proof.
Right.
Based on what, but I take one.
Well, I take it.
I am my own guinea pig here.
And I, like, the person I talked to today, I recently switched to her products like a few months ago.
And I, that's why I wanted to have her on is because it's, like, the game changer for me.
So, and I mean, I don't benefit from saying this at all.
I just am truly a fan.
Check out four things with Amy Brown.
I'm a fan of, like.
The Razorbacks, David Letterman. Amy's a fan of probiotic CEOs. That tells you where we are in our lives.
No, I'm a feed of gut health, and I finally found a good probiotic that I feel like is actually doing something for me.
All right. Thank you guys. Have a great day. We will talk to you tomorrow. Bye.
