So every day we record spots and liners for local affiliates. I mean, some days I'm doing it for hours, it feels like, and it's just part of the job.

You know, all the cities that we're in, we have to go on and do some local stuff, some commercials. And so Mike thought it would be funny to mix it up and punk Amy. Do you know about this? Well, yeah, I do, because I figured it out while I was doing it. And it was something that, like, I had already recorded a bunch of stuff, and then I was still here, recording something on a Zoom meeting. And Steve comes in and hands it to me. He's like, you missed a part.

And I'm like, oh, that's so weird. I didn't see that part. He's like, you need to go back in that other studio. And I was like, today? Because I had another appointment. I was like, this has to get done today. And he's like, yes, it has to get done today. Love their commitment.

Oh, yeah. They were like not. So then I go in there and I'm doing it. And I'm in a hurry, so I'm not paying that much attention. And then I would have kept going, but I could hear these guys laughing. Oh, no. Come on. Because that's how I was like, I got to get this done and get out.

of here so I would have never noticed but I hear dying laughter coming from the hallway. This all stems from a story where a school board was reading people's fake names. Do we still have that clip of the school board and they were like, hairy balls? And then we were like, ah! Yep, that's probably me. So they sent Amy this list of names and her liner was, hey, it's Amy from the Bobby Bones show saying thank you to and then you were just saying names. We do this sometimes.

We shout out different cities. We shout out specific listeners first and last name. It's not uncommon to do this type of thing. So I just was trying to knock it out and the names were suspect, suss. So Kelly Simmons is one. That's nothing, right? Yeah, no. It's a normal name.

Okay. Ashley Thomas, we're all good. So we continue. But then they start to be like, Mike, Mike Roch. Mike Roch. There's some dirty ones, too. She said it. Well, I don't know yet what I got to.

For example, there's one that you'll hear. His name is Barry. Okay? His name is Barry. And his last name is McCockener. Did I do that? Oh, my gosh. Did I do that one?

I don't even know. Because I was in such a hurry I got up and I was so irritated and I left. This is so bad. Because they kept me here for this. Go ahead. Play the clip. Hey, it's Amy Brown saying thank you to Kelly Simmons. Cool.

hilarious. Then she goes, oh. Because they phonetically spelled it out for me. And they were like, clee, clee, clee. So I was like, oh, yeah, Cleet Torres. I mean, what is wrong with these people? Again. Martha Faulkner would have taken me a second.

Did I do that one? Yeah. But it doesn't, that one to me, I don't hear as hard. It doesn't, it's not that straightforward. Yeah, Barry, that one was it good. I don't even, what did it? Stop it, Amy, stop it. You know the Barry one.

No, I don't. Oh my gosh. Like, bury them? It's written on the page. Barry it. Oh, my gosh. That is bad. You're the one that said it.

I did not. I said his name. Yeah. So. And I was late to my. therapy appointment, by the way. For a good reason. Because of these.

Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson dine out for a second day in a row. I saw that. I'm like, hmm, interesting. That's official then, right? I don't know if it's official. I mean, two times, it's not coincidence. It's not like friends going out on a roller coaster.

You know, they were talking about how he took her to a restaurant that he normally goes to in his hometown. I don't think that this is going to be a thing thing. I think it's probably fun for them. But I don't know that this will be a couple that gets married. I mean, I see the appeal of Pete Davidson, and he's hilarious. He's also like six foot eight.

He's huge. And that's cool? I just don't think of Pete Davidson's being a tall guy. And Kim is very short. Yeah. But Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson dying out for a second day in a row. Your thoughts? I mean, I guess I saw it, and I was like, oh, look at them.

Maybe they really are dating. I really am not passionate about it either way. I wonder, oh. He's way older than her too, though, right? He is? Because he's 27, and she's like 40. Oh, he's way younger than her. He said way older.

I was like, wait a minute. I know, I was like, wait a minute. But I do wonder, the one thing that pops in my head is like, I wonder what Kanye thinks. She's 41. He's 27. Wow. Which is fine. Which is great, but it's usually not that way.

It's reversed. Yeah, it's usually reversed. So, yeah, they're out, living life. I mean, Pete Davidson is just killing life right now. Most famous guy in America, basically. Hot chicks galore. Are you attracted to Pete Davidson? Not necessarily, but I never met him and don't know him.

I do think that there must be some sort of appeal to him. His demeanor might be when he enters the room. Like you said, he's so tall. And, of course, him being funny is amazing. And he's clearly smart. You attracted to Pete Davidson? He's not my type, but I mean, something's going on there. That either he's funny or something's happening.

for everybody to love him. Yeah, I think he's very funny. I'm attracted to him. Kind of, yeah. Very funny. I think he's pretty awesome. Let's see. What else do we have here?

And do you get Christmas royalties too from all that stuff? Well, you own. I mean, if you sell it, you don't anymore. Yeah, no, if you buy it. If you buy it, you get to. If you buy it, you have ownership of it any way that you want it. You guys want to get it? Can borrow some money?

Yeah, you guys run ahead. but they're selling it for $300 million. It's interesting how they make those Alvin and the Chipmunk songs because they slow down their voice when they actually record it, so when they speed it up, it's on normal time. They actually sing it slow, Mom. They have to sing it slow because if you were just to take me singing, Christmas, Christmas time, and you sped that up,

it would be so fast, you'd get that effect, but it'll be Christmas, Christmas time is here. Right. So you have to do Christmas. Oscar. Like they have it to a science going exactly how slow you need to sing. So when it's sped up, it sounds like a chipmunk. Did you learn that on the podcast?

Jason Lee. What's Jason Lee up to now? Do you ever go down those? Yeah, all the time. Like, what are they doing now? He is. Jason Lee, born in 1970, is an American film photographer, actor.

Well, I'm off the page now. But that, my name is Earl, was really good for a while. Yeah. And it would come on Thursday, with the office. He was like, I guess he'd done a lot of people wrong in his life and he served time. Oh, Earl. Yeah, the show, right?

And then he had to go back and apologize to everyone individually. Chemistry professor's been acquitted of cooking meth, which is Breaking Bad, but acquitted. Oh, she didn't get bust, the charges dropped, huh? In Breaking Bad, he obviously turns into a meth maker, which was wild because we started watching that show, you're like, I would never root. for someone that makes meth. But then you understand he starts making it because... Why he's making it, yeah.

Because he's sick. He's dying. And so he starts trying to make some money, right? Isn't that the... Yeah. To the beginning of it? And you start rooting for like the anti-hero. What other shows have anti-heroes?

The Sopranos do. I never watch Sopranos, so I don't have that. Dexter does, which comes back this weekend, where he's a murderer and you root for him. It's a weird, weird situation. Morgan? Loki is an anti-hero Yeah

Has his own show I like Loki Suns of Anarchy Is Anti-heroes Oh that's such a good show Because they're bad weeds Yeah Who else you got over there?

Oh um the wire Never watched it Everybody says it's the greatest show ever It's one of the greatest It's so good And it's only four seasons So you can knock it out It's so good

Peaky Blinders Did you guys ever watch that? No I really liked it For some reason I stopped Ozark is a great example. Oh, that's a good one. That's another one. What about Game of Thrones? Are they weirdos? Are they anti-hero? I don't know. I wouldn't say so because it's a different time.

Like the anti-hero is like someone normally you wouldn't root for because they're doing something bad, but because of the perspective that we're able to see as the viewer, we root for them. But Ozark is really good. I mean, and again, you root for them because he was put in a situation. He just didn't decide to start, you know, laundering money. Right. He was put in a bad situation where he had to or he, like, his family was going to be killed. What about Yellowstone? Ish? Ish? And that's back this weekend, huh? Two hours. Yeah, Sunday.

Sunday night, two hours on Paramount Plus, I don't know where I watch that show. I need to catch up on that one. Where are you? First episode. What? First episode. Season one episode one? Yeah, I watched one episode. Well, it's not catching up then. It's just getting in. You need to start. But Yellowstone and Dexter come out this weekend. Wow. Successions out. Is it kind of like that? I'm not rooting for anybody. Yeah, Succession's anti-heroes in a way. Yeah, but I don't know. I don't know that I'm

rooting for anybody quite okay i don't know who i'm rooting for right that's the problem i can't decide i'm like wow this family's messed up hmm who would i be rooting for for some reason i'm rooting for the the oldest son okay for some reason i don't like them the most who else watch a succession i do not me yeah man for a little while i was i mean i was weird to say i was cheering for the sister but then she's just yeah shiv i love shit but then i'm i still like her right but then i'm like, oh, maybe I don't want her. That's, I can't decide. I like Greg the egg. He's funny.

He is so hilarious. I ended up on his Instagram account, the real life guy of that. He's quite a lady killer in real life. He's like the most eligible bachelor in New York City, they call him now. Really? He's super tall, super good looking, but that character he plays on the show is so awkward. He's great. The story I was talking about, a former chemistry professor in Archedelphia, Arkansas

has been acquitted of charges. accusing him of being a meth chef. Formerly a teacher at Henderson State University. Shout out. Shout out. Which is where I went to school. Terry David Bateman was accused of cooking up meth in what was supposed to be a drug-free zone.

In court, the other person who was arrested described the process he claimed the two of them used to make the meth and then gave a timeline of events. Bateman was able to convince the court that Roland was a one-man show and the vials found in his office were safe and that got him off the hook. Well, that all seems a little suspicious.

Yeah, it sounds like they were doing it together. Who knows? Yeah, it just sounds a little suspicious. Like he maybe got off on a technicality. That's what it sounds like to me, too, but what do I know? All right, I think that's going to wrap it up for today. I just basically wanted to get on those Amy clips. I couldn't play him on the show.

Mike was like, hey, play this on the show. We'll beep it out. But we couldn't do Barry McCockener. What about Clee? Oh, my gosh. What? Nothing. It's still just.
