Lunchbox's your car die last night? Oh yeah. No 5 Ultima. Is it dead dead? No heartbeat. In the middle of the highway. But is it going to stay dead? I don't know. Oh, you don't? You still don't know.

It's in the ICU. I heard someone had said you'd post on an Instagram story, the situation. Yeah, I was just driving down the highway going about 65 miles an hour, and all of a sudden it just stopped running. And I had to coast to the side of the road, and I'm on the shoulder. And there's an exit lane on my right, highway on my left. Cars going 75, 80 miles an hour. Both sides of me, and I'm just sitting there.

And they don't slow down. If I would have opened my driver's side door, they would take it off. with their car. Did you sit in the passenger side or did you get out of the car? No, no, I just sat in the car. And people were like, you should get out of the car and I'm like, no, you don't get out of the car when cars are going 80 miles an hour. And I just sat there and waited for help. So you called who? Triple A. And what did they say? They sent a tow truck and Larry, the tow truck driver showed up. He was like, I man, go on jump in the truck. I think you're doing an impression of somebody, but it's the same voice you

talking about. It's right. Well, because when I called, they said, oh, we're not going to be able to give you a ride, you'll just have to wait on the highway for someone to pick you up. And I was like, what? And the guy was like, get the truck. And he gave me a ride. He was awesome. Big fan of the show. Did he recognize you and that's why you got the ride?

No. He was just going to do it anyway. Yeah, he was going to do it anyway. He was driving me to the repair shop and I was like, hey, man, you ever listen to the buy a bone show? And he goes, Eric Moore. And I was like, I'm lunch box. Oh, wait.

You asked someone. Do you ever listen to the? Wow, that would be awkward for me to do. Because most people would say no. I would like, hey, you ever listen to my show? No? Oh, what do you do then? I would just be scared to ask that question.

No, he was a big fan. He was like, how did you get to work with Bobby? Oh, that's so cool. And I was like, yeah, he was just big fan of the show. And he was so, like, when he got done, he was so excited he called his daughter. Do you FaceTime or anything? No, no, no. She told me on Instagram.

She was like, Larry was my dad. He was so excited. He called me. He said he's going to have to get Instagram just to follow you. What's the clip I have here? It's me on the side of the road, man. Okay, here we go. Guys!

This could be the end of the Ultima. She just died in the middle of the highway. Someone come save me. The 05 Ultima, 208,000 miles. Guys, there's cars flying by me. 70, 80 miles an hour. Slow down. Slow down.

Sounds like he's one of those tornado people on the news or hurricane people. And he's just sitting there. Yeah. What is happening? Like a storm chase. Hurricane Jonathan's, it's really pushing his chest. and their hair's blowing and they're in the... But lunchbox is sitting in the car.

Guys, and what happened to America where you pull over and help people? On the interstate, that's tough. No one. If you're in that spot, that's tough, though. No one asked if I was okay. A lot of people used to stop because cell phones weren't a thing. Correct.

So like we've... Would you have stopped? More resources. Yes. Okay. Do not lie. I'm going to ask you that. Okay.

Would you have stopped? No. Okay. But there was a semi that pulled over and I was like, he's here to help. He got out, looked at someone on the side of the truck, got back in, I drove off.

Robbed you. I was like, thanks, guy. My man, I sat there and they were like, oh, he'll be there like an hour and a half. And I was like, oh, great. Got there in 15 minutes. 200,000 miles, though. That's a win. That's a win.

280,000? No, 208. 501. If that thing dies today, it's lived a great lot. Yeah, I had a great run. It has been all over America. What do you think the number is, if they come back in there, like, there's $5,000 that's what you got to pay to get a fix?

Will you pay that or get a new car? I don't have to get a new car. What's the number? Probably a thousand. I mean, that thing ain't worse, $600 bucks. Well, then why would you pay $1,000? No, as I said, if they said $9,99, you would do it. Yeah, I'd do it.

Makes no sense. Well, I mean, a new car is going to cost more than $9.99. A new car costs a lot more than that. You've got to make a payment every month. But you're also going to eventually have to get a new car. Eventually. I mean, you eventually have to get a new everything. But I'm saying six months, you get a whole of your jeans.

You patch it up. Eventually, you're going to have to get a new car. get new jeans, but you patch it up. It is a new wife. Yeah, new wife. Is that what you mean to? Maybe. Eventually. You never know. 50% of marriage is into divorce. So, good one. I mean, it's true. Is it the, has the numbers changed on that? It's always been 50%. I tell you, it has, it has changed to more people aren't getting divorced now because more people aren't getting married. Oh. You see what I'm saying? That's different. There's less divorce because there's less marriage. People are waiting until they're older to get married. They're a little more worldly, a little smarter. so the divorce rates going down but not because people are just learning to be happier

it's because people are learning to actually pursue their happiness before they get married. I would say that's me. I never wanted to get married until now. It was never even a thought. I never, it was never a consideration in my mind. I never once went to Eddie in my whole life of being friends

and even said, you know what? For the first time I'm thinking about marriage, ever? No, never. As a matter of fact, I would do this when I would think about it. Yeah, that was just not in your mind. Did you say that to anybody? No, I course not to do that.

I just thought about us getting married. Never had those conversations? It wasn't, it just, it was something that I thought, well, it just may never happen for me. We talked about it on the show. Yeah, for sure. And I also thought I was broken. That I was just, it wasn't, but now it is. Now I'm not.

Now I don't feel broken. In other ways, I'm definitely broken. But that way, I finally am like, oh, Finally, the draw bridge is down. That's what it felt like. There's a moat. Marriage is on the other side of that moat. But love.

And I was on this side. And I was like, well, look at that. There it is. I'm never actually going to try to go over there because there's no way to get there. And you saw a bunch of people playing over there. And Alligator's got them too, though. But some people went across, and Alligator's got them. But you lowered the bridge because this is the right person.

I didn't even know the bridge was there. Right. I never even thought about there being a bridge. To me, it was just a piece of property no one had developed. But once you met Caitlin, you're like, I got to figure out how to get over there. No, she built that bridge. Love can build a bridge.

Everybody now. Between your heart and mind. Got it. What do you mean? I didn't recognize that from the beginning. We were singing it exactly right. It's perfect. Who sings that?

Love. The judge. The judge. Wilson Phillips. That someday somebody's going to make you want to turn around to say goodbye. Dealer, baby. Oh, you know, do you know? Things have changed.

Well, I hope your car costs $200. Oh, that would be amazing. And you're able to ride it out until the end of the year. Oh, maybe longer than that. I mean, this is the first thing it's called. Remember, you could get on TV, $250? Is that I told him? Do you can make it $250,000 miles?

I think somebody does a commercial with you. Like, it has been, I mean, it's been so long since she had anything wrong with her. But sitting on the side of the road, I had to talk with her. I was like, look, you've gotten me all over. American. I thank you everything you've done for me. Please don't give up on me now. You keep saying that. Where has she been? New York? L.A.? She's been to Houston. She's been to Austin. She's been to Nashville. San Antonio. She's been to North Carolina. She's been to really rock to South East.

The States. You have to drive through from Texas to Tennessee. Mostly just his pattern of moving. Yeah. I haven't seen that thing in Arizona. Like, what are you talking about? I've never, I've been to Arizona. It hasn't been cross country. Washington State? Washington State. Washington State? We're, that's up left. No. We haven't gone. that far. Oregon? No. I've been there. California?

The car hadn't been there. Idaho? No. Do I'm telling you? So, like, how has it been cross-country? Do you know where Texas is? Yes. Do you know where North Carolina is?

That's across the country. That's not. That's by halfway. That's like George Strait's song. Eddie was so irritated about. Yes. Carrying your love with me. Yeah, Eddie's like, that's not a long way to carry your love.

West Virginia, Tennessee. Actually, it's not that far at all. I googled it. It's like 50 miles. It's nothing. Here are the grossest states in the U.S. Speaking of states. Oh, I got it.

I don't even want you to guess because you're going to insult somebody. I'm going to get it right. Like gross is like unhealthy. I'll tell you what. 30? Hey, can I get, can I bring in water? You parched?

No, I have to my throat. I can't quite get it out, but I want to keep doing the show. I want to persevere. I want to fight through. A study found the grossest states in the United States based on things like air quality landfills,

also people Googling Mayo recipes. Oh, gosh. They did a whole... Why is that gross? What is that? It's disgusting. No, it's so good. I agree.

What do you think the gross estate is? By those standards, Mississippi. Didn't make the top ten gross estates. Wow. And I hope if you ever go down, they give you the what for. Well, my number one go-to is always West Virginia, but I wanted to be nice to them this time. You have a little allergy thing happening? Yeah, I do.

Allergies is getting me bad. I think that's probably what my thing is, too. Me too. And also, thank you, Eddie, for picking me up for work today. No problem. Eddie's picking everybody up. Look, guys, you guys have car problems? Call me, I'll be there.

That's why I say to Eddie. The 10 gross estates are number one, Virginia. Really? Lovely state. I love it. Yeah. South Carolina, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Texas round out the top five. What?

These are all great. The least gross are Alaska. Yeah, no one's there. Amazing. I'd love you to go to Alaska. It's just a long trip. Go take out lunchboxes Altima. It hasn't been there, yeah.

I hadn't been there. No, no, I've been there. The ultimate has not. We were, hold on. Montana, Nebraska, Idaho, Maine. Yeah, so more of the less people places. We were actually talking about doing that bit yesterday where lunchbox drives around and runs out of gas. It'd have been terrible guys. No, no. Guys, if we had a night yesterday, I would have died in the middle of the highway, but it wouldn't have been gas. Oh, so sad. Well, I hope that it only costs you a couple nickels and you're back on the road.

Yeah. Just a great guy. I don't know why. I just love hanging out with him. But hear us talk for an hour or so. He passed up a lot of money because he's a good guy. We talked about it on the podcast. Yeah?

Like why? Well, when COVID shut Tours down, he hadn't had a number one yet. He's going to be a baby act, which is the first of three on a tour on Dirkst's tour. he had a massive hit. He sells out Texas and regionally already like crazy. He can make a ton of money. But he's like, I'm going to go ahead and stay on Dirk's tour as the baby act even though. He was nominated for Best New Artist at the ACM. Because he had already committed to that.

Yeah, that's cool. That's awesome. I mean, I would say he probably draws more than the second act does. Riley Green, who's got some hits. But I think drawing concert-wise, I think Parker McCollum is probably bigger than he is now. And Parker's like, I'm going to say the baby act because I committed doing it. It's probably costing him six figures. But he's like, this is a long-term thing for me. I'm here.

I agreed to it. Let's do it. And I think that's really cool of him. Because he easily inducts what he easily said, I understand. I get it. At one point, there was a tour. This is in our tenure here. It was Lady Anabellum.

They were the headliner. And their middle act was Hunter Hayes, who's got some hits. But their baby act, and Lady A had signed this act before his first song had come out, was an act by the name of Sam Hunt. And Sam blew up. And Sam was playing 15 minutes. And before Hunter Hayes. And not to disrespect Hunter Hayes, but at the time, Sam was five times the draw that Hunter was.

And so it was a weird, but Sam stayed on. Sometimes they don't stay on. I'll not talk about those. But sometimes they don't stay on. But listen, the Bobbycast tomorrow is Parker McCollum. I'm really proud of that. All right, all right, all right. Why don't we do, because I have a couple things here I made a note for that we didn't get to on the show.

I don't need the story for this, but Eddie had sent in about putting your suitcase on the bed and how you should never, ever, ever do that. And I don't do that anymore. But there was the time in my life where I was dumb, and I'd be like, all right, back from a trip or in the hotel, boom, throw the suitcase on the bed. Because that dang suitcase rolls everywhere. Everywhere.

Disgusting. All kinds of diseases on that thing. And I think one of the big ones was bedbugs. That's kind of how they get around from place to place. That's what it said. That bed bugs are mostly transferred by suitcases. Do you do the rack or the bed? I mean, I'm automatic bed.

Rack. The suitcase. Is it going on the rack or in the bed? In the closet. At every hotel. You know how I don't do the My suitcase is on the floor beside the bed Oh okay, there's a rack there

There's a rack for the suitcase A wooden thing Really? Mostly wooden, yeah Mostly in the closet So you have to go pull it out But it's there You never knew that was there Is that what the counter is for

Maybe that was a chair Yeah, I didn't know what that was I just lay it unzip it Thott beside the bed and leave it open You know there's usually robes in there too Or one I don't wear those But I'm also not going to go like

Oh that's gross anymore Because I like to get in the bathtub At the hotel And we read a story is like Don't do that So and it's And forever I would take my own comforter with me if we weren't traveling by air. If I could fit it, if we were driving on a bus.

Yeah, because that makes your bad big. I'd take my own comforter with me because I was so disgusted by what was happening in hotel rooms. Ramundo is scared to wear some workout clothes because I already own them. Is that the story? You have a pair of Nike wind pants that are pretty awesome. They're a neon color. I don't think you're wearing them today. But they're dope.

Anyways, I go to the neon spot, the neon store in the mall, and I want these pants. I'm like, those are so dope. And my wife goes, yeah, but Bobby has those. You can't wear those. Like, you're copying his style. And I go, I don't think guys care if you copy their style, but she goes, those are, like, distinct pants. If you wear them, it's going to look like you're trying to be Bobby.

Well, I'd like to say I have no issue with you wearing those same pants. They are, they are pretty cool pants. But when I bought them, Caitlin tells me I dress like I'm in 90s Church League basketball, just in general. Sometimes you do. My shorts are too long. my every... She's like, you still dress like you're playing 90s Church League. I mean, yesterday

you look like you were part of the Chicago Bulls with like the basketball pants and like slides. It looked like you were about to go warm up. What was I wearing yesterday? Those white parachute pants looking things. That's what Ray was talking about. Oh, those are the ones, Ray? Yeah, you can't get those, dude. Why? Why? Because they're so

different that you see them on bones and like, oh, well, I mean, that's... Not a lot of people wear those. But then if we have two people at it, it'd be awkward. Dude, have at it. I don't know. I don't think it's awkward. Right, actually you can get them. Eddie wears Bobby's clothes every day. Well, that's true. But their clothes I don't wear anymore. That's a good point. I'd wait until Bobby

retires them. Yeah, maybe you could get Bobby's hand me. I'm back to. Ray, you can't get those. Okay, great. You can't get them. I would say that I'm almost at the stage of, I don't know if you can wear clothes now. Eddie, do you think you can wear my clothes? Yeah, what do I'm about to do a whole other closet. No, dissection.

Oh, yeah. Dissect, keep, and give. And so Mike and Eddie, and they're great clothes. And I if I had to just go buy them with my own money, I wouldn't be giving them away. But it's stuff that American Idol or someone's like, hey, you need this, I buy it, and I'm like, I'm not going to wear this anymore.

So I'll either give it or donate it. I give away suits on Instagram to people who need the suits. But maybe we'll do a little party. Good, I love it. A little giveaway party. Caller 10 gets coming in my closet with Eddie and Mike and we'll go see what we like. Yes.

So lunch always talked about how him and his wife do their finances separately. And I just saw that his car broke down and his wife went and picked him up. Does she charge him money for the taxi service?

She provides him for his car breaking. Have a nice morning. Bye. No, she rides in my car, riding her car. That's just a thing that happens. I mean, was it out of her way? Did it cost her a little gas? Yeah, but she's not going to charge me for that. But when you said that's just a thing that happens, for a lot of people, knowing how much each other make, sharing finances are just a thing that with you guys, it's not. Right. She doesn't know how much I make. And I needed a ride, so she gave me a ride. I mean, I've given her a ride places,

and I'm not charged her because I'm a nice guy, so she's a nice woman who picks me up. You are a nice guy. Yeah, like she'll pick me up from work today. Eddie's not taking you home? No, man, I picked them up. Come on. Of course. It's a lot to ask.

Too nice. It's too nice. Too much. Eddie says every member of the show is making his job difficult in a different way. Would you guys like to hear the ways we make the job difficult for a ready? Sure. No, it's simple. Like, I'm the video guy.

So I shoot these videos and I record them and then I have to edit them and I have to turn them into one minute video. So starting with Bobby, the hardest thing is when the segment is someone else is talking or maybe sometimes interviews. Interviews a lot. I cut to Bobby and he's on his phone. And I'm like, I can't keep this shot on there. I have to somehow edit this out.

To be fair, sometimes I'm communicating on my phone to Mike or somebody. Or I'm like, hey, because we don't have a great system. Mike can talk to me, but I can't really talk to him. Ray, Ray can talk to me, and I can talk to Ray. No. Okay. So I have a button I can push and talk to Ray, but I don't have a button I can push to talk to Mike. So if I'm like, hey, I'll be talking on the air.

I'll be like, hey, that's funny today. Amy, what do you think? Oh. So that's how that communicate. But I can't talk to Scuba. I can't talk to Mike D. So sometimes, 60% of the time on my phone doing that. Or sometimes it's a person.

performance might be so awkward, you're like, I'm just going to look at my phone. I'm not going to act like that hasn't happened. You know what I'll do sometimes, too? I'll pick up my phone and act like I'm taking a picture of the performance. And you're really texting? I'm really like tweeting tweets or texting. But for the most part, I do pretty good at that. And how does Amy?

Well, Amy's is tough. Like I said, I have to cut this down to a one minute video. And when Amy's telling a story, cutting down Amy's story down to one minute is tough. That takes me sometimes. I'm walking in my life for the last 15 years. 30 minutes to do that crap. Sorry. What about lunchbox?

It's just volume. He yells when he talks, so I have to constantly be like, so if it's a conversation with you and lunchbox, you talk normal, so that's normal. And then he starts yelling, I didn't do that. So you got to bring that down. And it just takes forever to edit that video. What? Is there anybody else that mess with you? No, I was going to joke and say, like, Ray, I just have a hard time finding the truth in his videos.

But I was just joking about that. What? Because he always just says stuff that's so random. But your stories are per-what's the difficult about yours? Oh, mine are easy. Yeah, yeah. You just record, cut, done. Easy. Okay, I think that's going to wrap it here. You guys, Amy's podcast is out today.
