Yeah, it's all good. It's time for the Bobby Bones post show. Here's your host, Bobby Bones. We are doing this from a side room because our studio has been a disaster today. We got in this morning. Mike, how did nobody know? You were here before me. I was the first show person here

How did no one know the room Instead of 59 I mean I knew you liked it cold So I just thought I was just cold 59 Yeah You thought I put it on 59

You've been putting it cold lately No more No less than 68 But I walked in this morning And it was freezing And I was like Golly And so I looked at the thermostat

I said 59 So all I did was raise it up To 70 And so I sit down and I start going And my hands start to freeze And my feet starts to freeze And I was the first one in there And then I think Eddie shows up

second. So you broke it? No, it was already broken when I got there. And so Eddie walks in and goes, well, let me see what I can do. And you knocked it up a little bit. But we sat in there for hours freezing to where my mouth was so frozen. I couldn't even talk. My teeth were chattering. So then after we're all miserable, we're taking breaks after the show just so we can get out and defrost. Sometimes starts going, be like someone flatlining. Apparently all of our studio equipment went offline. Probably because it froze. May I think about that? Oh yeah. Yeah, race computer was, which is this huge screen. It was completely black. All our screens were completely black in the studio. All mine were. Oh, okay. I have like 10 screens. This is completely black out. Yeah, none of my cameras

work anymore. So, I don't know. So now we're just trying to finish stuff, finding microphones. So I'm actually at my house. Amy's at her house right now. Eddie's back in Austin. We just had to find three microphones that worked. Do you have any stories, Mike, or anything? Do you have a packet of stuff? Sure. Yeah, just grab whatever's on your table over there. You can bring it back in. But, yeah, that was the situation this morning. I watched the Oklahoma softball game last night, which here's the kind of the situation. The coach of the Oklahoma softball team is playing for a national championship today. They won, so they're going to the final game. But he's the mom of one of the people getting married. He's the mom or she's the mom. She's the mom of him. And then, but the rehearsal dinner is

tonight, but they have a game. So what are they doing? She's got a baseball. I mean, softball, she takes president. She's the head coach of the team. And it's a rehearsal dinner. I mean, let me tell you something. You don't know because you haven't gotten married yet. But rehearsal dinners to me is the biggest waste of time. Like I get it's like camaraderie. You get to hang out with a family. But rehearsal, like, there's nothing to rehearse.

There's really nothing you can actually mess up. But I don't think it's about rehearsal as much as it is the dinner. It's just part of the weekend. Then can we just skip the rehearsal? Like at ours, we've hired a full 90s country band. We have a full venue. No, no, that's the dinner. I'm talking about the rehearsal.

Oh, but I think it is for people to walk and actually know. where to go. Yeah, nowhere to go. Five minutes. Five minutes. Yeah, there's things that people need to know kind of where to go. You're kind of a hater for no reason. Well, no, no, it's remember like Ray's wedding. Didn't you a lope or whatever? You didn't even know? We went to Hawaii, but I mean, we even did a, we had a rehearsal, but not an actual rehearsal because we couldn't even get to the church. But you didn't need one. No one needs one. Literally when you get to the church, you go, okay, okay, guys, wedding ceremony starts in 10 minutes. You guys are going to stand on the right side and you're going to go first. I don't think so, Because ours are, ours is a bit different to it.

The venue we have is a bit different. Yeah. We need a rehearsal. Wow. Okay. Five minute rehearsal? Probably 15 or 20. Oh, okay.

I would think, but it's mostly just about the rehearsal dinner. I would agree with that. Yeah, yeah. But no, and what I hope is, because again, I've never rooted for Oklahoma at anything. Never rooted for them in anything. And so I hope they win because if his mom has to come to the rehearsal dinner after she just lost the national championship or a wedding the next day, after she lost it.

That would be tough. She has won three or four national championships. And she's like the winningest active coach in history. So do, like it's work, right? Like it's just work to her. But I mean,

it's more than that. Of course it's more than that. This is more than work to me. Right. But if you got married tomorrow and you had a terrible show today, would you go in and be like, it's terrible wedding? Different because of a show in a national championship.

Okay. I don't know. That's what I'm asking. Like, yeah. I mean, I still think that her son's marriage would be the most important. more than a championship, but you can't, you know, go and think it's not going to affect you at all.

Bobby's on the radio guaranteed at least five, six days a week no matter what. You only go to a national championship. Once every, and she's been at Oklahoma for 20 years. And I would say she's a rare, she's obviously an exception being that she's had it multiple times. But when we look at important things in life, like the son's wedding is probably more important than the national. And she will be there. Yeah. Is there any chance she might miss it?

No. No, it's the last game. That would be terrible. A new study says we may be able to laugh ourselves out of depression. And so laughing gas could actually help people who are depressed. Aside from this, I know laughing gas rocks. Like if I go to the dentist and I got to have any needle at all, knock me out. It's really the only time that I can just relax.

I don't drink. I don't smoke weed. I don't do anything that's really, I don't massages. I don't get them for relaxing. I get them because something's hurting on me. And so when I get the laughing gas and I'm like, I got to go in and have, because I have to go in next week. When I went in last week, I have two spots that have grinded out where you can see the

underneath part of the tooth. And so I have to go and get those fixed and have an old filling. I have to get replaced. Knock me out. I don't want to remember the last 24 hours. And I start to have. That's not laughing gas, right? Yeah, I know it is.

Oh, knocking out is laughing gas? Well, it's knock me out as in take me out of what I'm doing right now. You still know. And I always try to act like it doesn't bother me. I'm like, yeah, I'm not, oh, I don't feel anything. And then I just start saying the dumb. I'm crap. And then I'm just praying they don't have, they're not recording me for something because that's all I need is me saying something stupid. Yeah. Yeah. I had it for the first time like a

couple weeks ago and Eddie just to give you a picture of like how it just relaxed you. I had a bunch of work stuff I wanted to get done while I was sitting there and the way I was sitting before he worked on me, I could work and I had my computer out and I was all a little bit stressed about some stuff. And then they put the thing in my nose and I mean, I don't know like 60 seconds later I closed my laptop, put it away. Like I could care less. Like one deadline. Who cares? Like it felt great. I start to have really like in-depth philosophical conversations with myself. Oh my God. Like I feel like I'm floating in the stars when I really get not. I mean when it's because I'm just like give it to me until I'm almost ready to vomit. Because you can almost have too much and get nauseous. But I like to walk that edge. I like to I like to peek over that vomit edge and but not fall over.

Okay. Because then I'm just I'm just feeling like I'm in on another. planet. It just feels like I'm in the middle of the stars floating. And I'm thinking thoughts that are so much deeper than I think when I, and it's probably what you feel like when you're super drunk or high. I was all the thing. Not drunk really, but probably high. Yeah. As you say, it's probably what you should never do drugs. Because I've just and I don't. Can you imagine though, Bobby? That's why it's good. He can't have access to laughing out. Dude, you'd be like a philosophical person. Some of our greatest creators were messed up. Yes. When they created. You know, when it comes to music, especially. Writers, a lot of writers. Like when you look,

look back over the last 200 years. You know, a lot of them were messed up. Jimmy Hendricks, man. I wonder what I would do. If I just came in. Like, you know how you go off on alien talk? Yeah. Like you would go hours and hours about aliens.

Wanda Vision is not going to have season two. Oh, bummer. Two watched it. You did? Yeah. I did not. Watch it. You didn't watch Wanda Vision?

My son did, but I didn't. Fantastic. Took a couple episodes for me because I wasn't quite figuring out what was happening. But they're not coming back at all. Her twins are going to be in a movie. The Doctor Strange 2, she's working on that too. But no Wanda Vision 2. But Loki is on now, huh?

Yeah, I just started. Have you started it? Not yet. I have the first episode queued up, though. You let me know. Although you did tell me I probably wouldn't like Wanda Vision and I loved it. I was two episodes in where I didn't know if I liked it yet or not. Loki is Thor's enemy, right?

His brother. Yeah. Skinny. Like, opposite of Thor looking brother. Huh. I knew it was his enemy. I didn't know it was his brother. It's his brother.

And so is this one of those. that makes him a good guy and you realize why he turns bad? Basically, he's kind of like the anti-hero in this, but it takes place after the Avengers. Oh, it does? Yeah. It's not before. No. Huh.

You watch that because she's a villain, but do you feel for her? Oh, yeah, you feel for her in that movie. rock that's so good so good but did you watch creolella i did you like it with my son loved it i told you may say that on the show i loved it but my son he was really freaked out by yeah you talked about on the show but uh it's really really good now one million dollar powerball ticket spent three weeks in the guy's wallet he didn't even know a north carolina man said he was in shock when his powerball ticket that was forgotten in his wallet turned out to be a one million dollar winner frederick russell of north carolina said he purchased it bought it a gas station said i was hoping to win put him a

wallet forgot about it, been all over the place. We've been walking around ponds and everything. He said three weeks after the drawing, he finally scanned the ticket at the store, and they were like, uh, you won, you have to go to the lottery office. I don't think I would have even thought about it unless I happened to be there and happen to look at my wallet.

Because I wouldn't have, I have tickets at my house still that I've never checked, and you know what? Probably won't. But you should. What if it's one of those? Is there a deadline on that? Like, do you have... There is a deadline. I don't know what it was, but there is a deadline. A 79-year-old none retired.

wait, a 79 year old retired nun stole more than $835 from a Catholic school. She did it to fund her gambling addiction. Oh, wow. Are we sure this isn't Ray in like an outfit? He's really a nun. Wow. A man dies on a New Jersey golf course

after being struck by lightning. Let's see how unfortunate. It's very unfortunate, but I wonder if he stayed out and played or if it was him, you know, trying to take cover. But it's still happening. A man was killed by a lightning bolt on a New Jersey golf course as he tried to find cover from a developing electrical storm. The unidentified victim who was in his 70s was seen seeking shelter. Yeah, that sucks. If this would have happened to somebody who stayed,

I was like, I'm just going to keep playing and hit him. You're like, well, you knew the risks, but that doesn't seem like this is what happened here. Lightning struck a tree nearby the man. It hit him and got him. Wow. We were out, Eddie now are out playing golf last week and we had finished in time. We saw the rain coming on the radar. We finished the time. Last hole, no rain yet. Eddie goes, I lost my club on the last hole. So we had a turnaround drive all the way back. And as we're there, the storm comes down. I mean, we would have...

How you lose a club? You take it and you hit with it, but you, you like put it down as you put the ball. So you leave it there. And then you walk off the green. You just forget that you took a club. Huh. But we would have missed the entire storm and we wouldn't have gone back looking for my club.

But we did not miss the storm. No, it's my point. It started pouring on us. A woman discovers evidence that a stranger is living in her house. A woman who lives alone is going. on viral on TikTok with a video showing what she says is evidence someone is living in her house without her knowledge. Mia Aurora says in the video that she had just come home and found clumps of brown hair in her shower. She's staying with friends until they can do a full sweep of her house.

Do we think though, and listen, this could be true. This can not be true. Do we think though sometimes people make up these stories on TikTok? Yes, 100%. Anytime you say this is from TikTok, I'm like, I can't believe it. I'm not going to believe it. It's the best place for content. But I do think now where people are like, oh, there's someone living in my attic. Here's a hanging down. Let me know what you think. And you're like, yeah, that's obviously a foot. Call the cops. Don't wait for us to tell you what we think. Call the cops. And then we read it on the air. 10 million views. And then we never hear an update. They just take their views. My brother-in-law, he's in the FBI. And we were talking about TikTok. And he was like,

oh, man, it's we use it all the time too. Because as soon as we get news about something happening, like, I think there was a active shooter situation at a mall where he's at. And he's like, we all got on TikTok quickly. And sure enough, there was a video. But you get kind of an idea before you even respond what you're dealing with because people upload videos TikTok so quickly. He saw it on TikTok, huh? Yeah, there was like... How do you search out a specific thing? I don't...

I think you just hashtag like active shooter or whatever and then it just pops up. Oh, Lee. What a thing to put up. Did you see the app that the FBI was using to bust all those people? Yes. A-nom app. Is that what it called? Oh, yeah.

A-nom. I didn't use it. But it was just like, hey, get it and have these communications. You didn't use it. Wasn't it just for criminals? I don't think it was just for criminals. Was it? That's just what I used it for.

I don't think there's an app that's like download this if you're a criminal. Oh, I thought it was like design. All right, criminals, we've designed an app for you guys. It's perfect. No. Yeah, talk about your crimes here. You're safe? You thought there was just a criminal app?

I thought that they made an app and they were just like, all right, criminals, you're going to need this because it's perfect. What happens on the app stays on the app. Yeah. No, that is not the case. It was just a communication device, an app. It would encrypt everything. Yes, and accept the FBI was using it.

But who knows what? whatever people are using now. Like they can be using Facebook. Yeah, yeah. Sure. Same thing. They just launched it. It worked.

Twitter could be something put up by the government. You know, we don't know. We just use it and we don't do anything bad. This app was created by the government though, right? Yes. Yeah, that's pretty cool. The FBI had... For criminals, apparently.

Yeah. Well, why else would they do it? Amy's podcast, four things she has on one of the women from Destiny Child, huh? Yeah, Michelle Williams. And so what did you guys talk about? Well, she recently put out a book called Checking In, and she's just sharing her personal experience with depression. And she just was at like the lowest of lows in her life.

And she had certain tools and people in her life that helped her get out of it. And she's like, these things saved my life. So she's hoping by sharing her story, anybody else reading it may be able to look for triggers or indicators and then seek out help if they need it. You guys check out four things with Amy Brown. Did you meet her? Or was it? We were just on Zoom. Yeah.

Just Zoom. She's the second, third, and fourth thing. The first thing I had my one of our best, my best friends on Mary, she called me out on something as a friend recently. So it was kind of a also a vulnerable first thing where she just told me I was kind of acting a certain way. And it was like, it's like a healthy demonstration of like if you need to call your friend out on something, you can do it.

And if you're in a good place to receive it, you don't have to get defensive. You can hear what they're saying and then realize that you're doing that. and try to work on it. So that's the first thing. She literally is the only person that has an RSVP to the wedding. Mary? She's coming. No RSPP. I think she maybe thinks that she has. Well, technically she's not coming. Technically, she's the only one left that has an RSVPed. That's so weird. She's definitely coming. Yeah, she should probably hit her up. I thought, she said she sent you a note because you gave her a plus one or whatever. And so she said she sent you note like, is that a challenge? Well, I gave, but yeah, it was a long time ago. But yeah, I did give her a plus one. Yeah, but she's, I think it's just her. But

Well, tell her to get on that site and shut it down. She's the last one. Last one standing. Oh, okay. I talked to Sharna yesterday. She coming? And so it was Sharna and Mary, the last two. And so I talked to Sharna yesterday.

Actually, she called me because when I was talking about it on the year, I guess one of our listeners just started tagging her and stuff. And she was like, hey, I didn't get an invite. Like I got to save the date, but I'd never got the invite. And I was like, okay, yeah, the weddings. And so apparently when I told her that, because I, I sent a voice memo because I was driving and I want to text. She was like, okay, I'm booking a flight right now. Well, when I sent that thing, I said the wrong month.

I got my months confused. And I was like, oh, it's not that month. It's the month. And then she goes, oh, what? She goes, oh. But she's like, we have this trip planned. And I was like, oh, she goes, we can't come. She goes, I would have sure been there, though, if it was the first month you told me.

Oh. I just texted Mary. Did you RSVP to Bobby's wedding? She said yes. I said online? She goes, yes. Why? Didn't come through.

We don't have it. We are... Tell her to do it again. She's like one of the most responsible people. Tell her to do it again. Okay, can you do it again, please? Just say she's the only one that we don't have. What?

That's so weird. But yeah, Sharnah was like, I'm coming. Oh, wait. I can't come anymore. Dang. So, but I have to go out to California for a few days in late June this month, a couple weeks, and I may try to have lunch with her. And I don't know him.

I never met him. She was like, I love you to meet him. And so, we'll see. When I go out there, though, I'm just, I don't ever go out there for fun because it's not fun for me to go to California. So I'm out there and I just pack myself

with stuff so I can get out of there quicker. Yeah, you don't have a lot of downtime when you're there. No, because I don't need it because I'm there to get as much done as I possibly can so I can get back home as fast as I possibly can.

So, okay, there's that. Anything else before we go today? I mean, I'm just now starting to thaw out a little bit. Yeah, it's nice and warm here. Like just now. Yeah. It's taking me this long to feel normal again to have my fingers in my toes

and I'm wearing open-toed shoes What? Like sandals? Yeah. So my toes are cold. I took a steamer. What Eddie saw me do. I have a steamer in my office that I used to steam clothes if I have an event afterward. And I took the steamer and I was just about to plug it in behind my desk and steam my feet a little bit to warm up. And that's when we figured out this studio could be used. But I was about to go full McGiver on you guys. You did look like you were smuggling a steamer. I'm like, what are you doing over there? Nothing. None of your business.

I was about to warm myself up one way or another. It's going to be smoked behind his desk. that I catch the place on fire. It's like, it's like, it's like, it's like those, those gender reveals.

The gone wrong? Yeah, this is a steamer gone wrong. What are you doing over there? Mary said, well, I am coming and I also put that I have no food allergies.

Oh, you know what? I can handle that then. Okay. Yeah. Yeah, because I guess that was a thing to put on there. Yeah, that's what we want to know.

We don't want to make sure people, you know, let me send Kay on a message. Tanana, nah, no, no. Hey, Mary said that she, RSVP'd. It must not have gone through, but she is her, no guest, and she has no food allergies.

Wait, let me confirm no guest. Maybe she met someone last night. No guest and no food allergies. All right, thank you. Was that a voice memo? Was that like a, you know that's what I do. You know that. I know, but what I've been using is the one that types for you. I don't like that. That one messes up for me. It does? That one doesn't punctuate right and I'll go, period. And then it'll write the word period. And I'm like, no, no, no, no, no. You don't have to be. You don't have to say period. Oh, you do have to say something, right? Yeah, question mark. Okay. And then it'll say question and then make a mark.

I love that. It's just always weird. One of my friends does it all. I'll see him over there at the corner going, okay, here's the deal for today. We're going to put it up to do that too. I'm like, what are you doing? I'm sending an email. I'm like, you expect it just to be, he goes, yeah, I'm pretty good at using it this way now. So, all right, that's it for today. We wanted to give you at least a little something with the post show.

We almost had to not do one at all because our room is basically, what's the, Antarctica? the cartoon, frozen, no. The animals? Ice age. Ice age. Oh, yeah. Ice age.
